At the Original Swiss Sweet Shop the cheese Danish was so fresh complimented by a decent drip coffee, all for $5.50. It's more of a grab and go place, there's just one small table with two chairs outside, not really pleasant place to sit.

The pastries here are consistently great. The prices are affordable. There may be issues with parking sometimes.

Picked up some meat patties, strudel and apple turnover. Meat patties hit the spot with a nice hint of spice to heat things up. Strudel and turnover were great! No complaints here.

Small and jam packed with a wide variety of pastries, breads & desserts. Mostly Euro with some Bah inspired offerings. Very helpful smiling Staff. Prompt with special orders. I have my favorites, but you can find items, savory to sweet. Enjoy.

The cake itself taste good ,but one slice of cake had a ton of filling was not too much cake just icing. I called prior requesting light on the filling because I remembered the last on was filled with heavy filling. They said okay ! we are here a plate of icing. The Birthday fella didn't enjoy his bday cake disappointing .

The veggie patties are so good. The best and most affordable quick lunch on isalnd. The baked goods are great also (obviously) and super friendly staff!

The guava cheesecake was soooooo good... rich, creamy and delicious! Definitely worth the treat.

The ambience is very peaceful and inviting! Their display makes any mouth waters. They have a variety of cheesecakes and salads. A seating area if you wish to dine in! Absolutely LOVE this place!!

I do not know if you guys changed your recipe for your cherry cheesecake slices, but my entire house, straight down to my mother was sick on Mother's Day yesterday. From eating your cheesecake. This is extremely disappointing as we are repeat customers. Thought also it might have been ours, but the one I bought for my aunt, she advised also that it tasted funny. Please do better.

I had the most AMAZING experience ever. Let me start off by saying this is my first time on the island 🌴 I have travelled many places and have never encountered an experience like this one. Based on the google reviews, I sought out to get my mom a cheesecake from Cheesecake Heaven (it’s my mother’s bday and reason for this trip.) We took a bus, rather late and on our way back we were cutting it short to make it back to our hotel. Besides the eclair and DELICIOUS cheesecake (we got the macadamias delight 🤤) we ran into the owner, who offered us a ride back!!! because it was too late and dark to be out. It was the kindest and sweetest gesture ever, I cannot thank them enough. Jameel and Andy, I am forever in your favor. Next time I’m on the island I will make another stop. To anyone who want delicious cheesecakes, with stellar ownership, come here! Both the the service and food was delightful, again thank you! 💕

This is a review for the ever popular, but highly overrated Easter bun, Miss Birdie’s bun. A a lifelong HTB fan, I was told by several people that I had to try Miss Birdie’s bun. My brother even went so far as to mail me one from Texas. Upon opening it, I noticed it was super soft and actually seemed to be breaking in the middle. I processed to slice it and again as I held the middle I noticed it was extremely mushy. I continued slicing and after the first two slices the knife was coming out with a lot of batter sticking to it. Eventually, I noticed the entire bun with exception of the first couple of slices was RAW BATTER! Definitely the most unappealing bun I’ve ever seen and it went straight in the garbage! Never again! HTB for life!

The food is always superb. Portions are hefty and delicious. Prices are affordable. It's crowded all the time, but service is expeditious. Friendly staff You can take out or dine in. Good parking

Great selection of bread, cakes, snacks ( e.g. nuts, chips, candies.. ), household and food items in club sizes as well as retail. Friendly staff, clean, quiet and spacious store.

The workers packaging dont wear gloves,and i seen them pick up buns off the floor to place them back on the conveyor belt for packaging. Most of not all staff dont have a valid health certificate, i know because i was a previous employee. Minimum wage to be in a hot bakery is no joke.

Drive from eastttt to get hot cross buns after being told they would be baking to 5 pm I arrive at 3 and no buns

It would have been a near great experience if there was a packing boy available. Had to walk almost to the old city market, pushing a disable shopping cart, and then take the shopping cart back. Otherwise, the atmosphere was good

The epitome of if it ain’t broke don’t fix it. This bakery has been a staple within the community for so many years and their mini dinner rolls are simply THE STANDARD. Their other items such as ginger sticks and breads are also consistently good.

This is one of the places to bread. I think their recipe for simple bread is just simply the best.

It's okay. We ordered bread and rolls from here, and for about a day or two they were alright, then after that day or two, the bread and rolls turned hard and discolored. It was not a good thing. However, upon walking in the bakery, it smells very nice and the staff is very nice there and super helpful.

The best place in town for fresh hot rolls. I particularly like their cheese bread but you have to go early as it sells our pretty quickly. Their twist and guava buns are also awesome and the service is impeccable. If you go before their official opening time, just knock on the side door and someone will gladly serve you.

Their ginger sticks didn’t disappoint. We also got some donuts which were pretty different from those in the US—something closer to a bagel and a kolache. If you’re a tourist, plan on just walking in, asking what they have, placing an order, then leaving with your baked goods. I didn’t see a menu and there’s no place to sit.

The twists are always delicious, soft, and fresh! The log cakes and cupcakes are really moist and tasty and I love how they use whipped cream for their icing! The prices are really good also!

What a gem of a bakery. We were in Nassau on a sailing trip and popped in for some traditional Bahamian delights. Worth every bite. The lady that served us was very nice and we enjoyed a long conversation with her. Did a final stop on our way to the airport.

I'll think twice about supporting your Mollie Street location, did'nt appreciate standing at the door in the heat to be served, my order had to be cancelled and then rebilled again because it was a large order and a few of the items requested were not available, then the attendent did'nt offer to assist me with packing the items. Today the service was just wrong, but I would patronize the business again, just not for awhile

My niece half birthday cake was designed nicely and the taste was off the chain. We also had 12 cupcakes that the kids loved.

First time here, and wanted to try a baked good as well as the ice cream from the neighboring partner, Mudda Freeze. Like the ice cream, Bakehouse was a pleasant surprise. Nice ambience and clean atmosphere. The staff was nice and friendly while assisting me. I got the vanilla glaze donut, it was a lil greasy but the flavor and texture was on point. Now that walnut chocolate chip cookie was the star! It was soft and gooey warm inside and crunchy on the out. Flavor was not too sweet but just the right hint of saltiness. I'd Def come back for the cookies!!! Just some adjustment is needed with the donut I had. I spent about 12.50 vat inclusive total.

I get all my baked goods here - cakes, brownies, muffins - but in the end, it's really the donuts that consume me (and vice versa). When I leave Nassau, the donuts will haunt me like Catherine haunting Heathcliff.

Delicious cookies, donuts, pastries, cakes and viennoiserie. They also have sandwiches during lunch time, made on their delicious homemade bread. I’ve never been disappointed by their baked goods. Some of my favorites are the classic chocolate chip cookie, the brown butter toasted pecan donut and the almond croissants. They’re always lovely and if you happen to get them fresh out of the oven they’re even better.

I had the opportunity of visiting this bakery while visiting Nassau Bahamas. Everything looks so delicious and it smells so good. The signature bake was bread pudding. I’ve never had BREAD PUDDING like this one, no words, It’s a must try The was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful they were very familiar with their inventory. OMG Bakehouse cookies ARE THE BEST! The cookies are fantastic and I love the variety. I just moved here and haven't tried the donuts, so looking forward to going to the new location and testing all the flavors!

Mom is awesome, what a great lady. We bought the banana bread and the rum cake. Wow!!! The rum cake I think is best I ever had, it was delicious. So worth the drive, and the prices are good.

The rum Cake was the best thing we got here. Mom does not cook anymore but she was in the back kitchen and very happy to be there. I believe Mom is 91. The lady out from told us what some stuff was but was a little difficult to get info from her as to what the different items were.

We came here twice at the recommendation of our host. The first day we had the plain cake & the second we had the cinnamon rolls. Everything was good, but this was like 45m from us and based off the recommendations I thought it would be earth shattering. I’d say this is more if you want to scratch the sweet tooth itch on the island, this is your spot. But not worth driving across town for, just if you’re in the area! PS - cash only, cinnamon rolls - $12/ cake $8.

The lady working there was the sweetest person and nothing beats home-cooked goodies. Pricing was very fair and rum cake was outstanding. As a bonus, there's a bar right next door with a waterfront deck to enjoy your snacks and the view.

Fantastic! We stopped off after lunch at Santanna’s. We had the Rum Cake…we ate it like monsters in the rental car.   It was obviously fresh, but before they hand it to you, they pour a hot rum concoction on top…which puts the tastey treat over the top.  Mom was very nice to us.

Unfortunately I just got to see the outside of the bakery. Word to the wise, don't expect them to open on time. Might be better to show up an hour late or so :) Update: went the next day (at a much later time) and it was delicious. Rum cake was so good. Also update on time, may want to show up much later than an hour late :) They start baking at 8am.

Delicious bakery. Very... off the beaten path, quite unassuming building both outside and in, staff seemed annoyed by us, sells out fast, BUT insanely fresh DELICIOUS pastries/donuts. Went back twice.

The chicken patty is easily my favorite goodie from here. Buttery pastry with lots of filling that's flavored with curry. The cinnamon roll is good, albeit a bit dry. It does contain raisins, although not many. The turnover was good. Flaky and buttery with the traditional cinnamon/sugar/apple filling The scone had great texture with a subtle sweetness. My hope was that they'd have coconut bread available but unfortunately, that was not the case. There also were no donuts or twists available the morning that we were there. Maybe we were too early? Or, perhaps, too late?

We were walking the town and stumbled upon this gem! Great selection of pastries accompanied by a friendly staff! Kindness! We typically go to a coffee shop to get cinnamon rolls when anchored at Gov's Harbour. They are expensive! and too sweet, for my taste, not my husband's...However, this bakery is a beautiful balance of sweet, savory, and satisfying treats! The coconut scone was perfection 👌🏻 Our new go to!

If you want real bahamian bread and treats, you MUST stop here! I got fresh bake bread, glazed donuts, cinnamon sugar donuts, guava Danish, and coconut tart, and they were ALL good! The coconut tart was soooooooo good. I wanted to get more. This is a must stop on Eleuthera.

If you like a bit of quirk with your bakery, then you've found the place. Honestly, it took us a while to find it (the building does not scream "bakery"), but when we did it has been our go to place over the years for fresh yeast rolls (pro tip: these are great for making mini sandwiches for the beach or the boat), cinnamon bread and a solid pastry assortment if you are there on the early side. The staff response to orders can vary from cheerful to not, but fear not, you will get served. A quirky side is that I got a delicious yeast twist that had just been made at 2 p.m., so that's that. Fresh bread comes out at different times too. Many locals get their lunches there, and everyone says their savory stuff is great, just haven't tried it. Note that they often sell specialty local produce over in a box on the side--avocados in the late fall, etc.

The Napoleons are my favorite. I love the guava duff, but the sauce it super sweet. I would say eat in moderation if you are watching your sugar intake. The service is always quick and superb 👌. Highly recommended.

Just had the blck forest/ chocolate cake today and they must have improved their recipe because it tastes amazing! It is possibly the best cake i’ve had so far. And the fruit tart was alright. Usually the pastries are iffy but the cake today was so good! 5 stars!

Always a pleasure shopping at the Swiss Pastry. The service is customary, the purchased cakes are always on point and the atmosphere is one that always wants you to come back. I recently ordered two cakes on a Friday for pick up on a Monday. The young lady there fetched my cake as soon as I walked into the store after serving a few patrons. I had to ask if she remembers all her customers. Have this dude feeling special. On point!
