Their cupcakes are always delicious and getting a free one on my birthday was a special treat. I got a Banana Split cupcake and it was wonderful. Creamy frosting, delicious filling, excellent cake (banana bread, maybe, or at least it tasted like it) and a cherry on top. The person at the counter was sweet and friendly but it was what they did after the shop closed up that has me writing this review. Our car was in danger of overheating just outside. I went to see if I could get a glass of water to pour in it but the doors were locked. As I was leaving, they came to see what I needed and when they heard what was going on they got me an entire pitcher of water. What an amazing person. Thank you. You made my day and my birthday. Your business is wonderful and so are you. I hope you have the best day ever and that lots of great things happen for you.

They absolutely rocked the cupcakes and cookies for our graduation event 2 weeks ago! Everyone was talking about how great it all looked and tasted. More importantly every single person I dealt with was fantastic, from email, phone calls, even in store, it was one amazing helpful and informative experience!

I hadn't been back here in YEARS until today!! The staff were sweet and so were the cupcakes! The shop was so aesthetically put together and absolutely gorgeous. My only complaint is that my tea was scorching hot for about half an hour and once I was able to taste it, it was super bitter and didn't have raspberry in it like I'd requested, but that won't stop me from coming back!

Oops! This place probably has great cupcakes and desserts, but I wanted a hot americano (pretty simple, right). And, well, the first one was lukewarm-cold, hmm. So, I let them know, and they happily remade it. I asked for plenty of room, because I like LIKE espresso/coffee taste, but … well, it was hot the second time, but it tasted kind of like just hot water with barely a hint of coffee. No crema (that thin brownish foam on top of an espresso shot and usually an americano), no bold flavor, tasted kind of like an instant coffee. The servers were so delightful, I didn’t have the heart to have them make it a third time, so I just drank it.

I called Sweet Frosting to order a cake and cupcakes for my wedding. We were very happy with the food and service. There was some confusion at first as I live far and could not do the tasting, but it was quickly and professionally cleared up. I was in constant email communication with Piper and she helped us pick out what style we want with pictures, which was very helpful. It was straightforward even when changing our order. The did have Gluten Free options which my guest loved. They delivered to the venue on time and there were no issues. I would recommend Sweet Frosting Blissful Bakeshop.

The kindest humans, the most delicious pumpkin waffles, and the hippest spot in downtown. Don't walk, run to Boots. They have a little something for everyone but everything is plant-based. I've been for brunch and had their famous pumpkin waffles with chai butter (just do it) and tofu scramble, for lunch for a smattering of sides, and snagged several dessert from pastries to cookies to cakes! Again, they do it all and more importantly, they do it well. They're located in the Saranac Commons so you can also support the brewery, pizzeria and coffee shop located within the same food hall while you're there. And if you're lucky, there will be dogs - or bring your own!

This place is an absolute gem! It’s rare when the vibe, food, and service are all perfect. The triple threat 😎 The service was nothing short of AMAZING—Jess went above and beyond and truly treated us like royalty. She was so knowledgeable and gave fantastic recommendations for food combinations that worked perfectly together. The menu is a dream come true: 100% gluten-free, vegan, and absolutely delicious! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. It’s rare to find a place that caters so thoughtfully to dietary needs without ever compromising on taste. Jess made the experience unforgettable—warm, welcoming, and attentive. As we kept saying all evening, “Jess is the best!” 🥰

Amazing place!! Cute environment. The team was very nice about verifying ingredients for my long list of allergies! They went over my questions and verified in a book. All gluten free and vegan!

Friendly staff and owner. Owner was super attentive to her customers experience and satisfaction. I tried their hash mix side you must try. It was gone before I was able to capture a picture. I tried their famous pumpkin pancake. Delicious… it’s sweet but has a nice cinnamon spice to it.

Amazing selection and service. Great tasting alt foods for those of us with food sensitivity. Delicious croquette! It’s the first thing I mowed down when I got back to my car!! 😁 The ginger cookie is next… with the above average coffee.

What a place!!!! Truly a vegan paradise! It starts with the most friendly and delightful staff that are ready to answer questions about the plethora of items they have in their menu. We ordered the banana buckwheat pancakes and they are so good and very generous servings. Also we had Mac n cheese, potato croquette and biscuits and gravy and they were nothing but scrumptious. Definitely we found our favorite place in Spokane!!!

OMG. I tried the oat sandwich bread and the red wheat bread — both were amazing. But the absolute star of the show (besides the fantastic service) was the kouign amann. So many bakeries miss the mark with this pastry — it’s often too greasy or too buttery — but this one was perfect. Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Also want to shout out the woman working the counter this morning (around 9am) — it was my first visit and she took the time to explain all the breads and treats, which made the whole experience even better. I also got the avocado toast (I forget exactly what spread was under it, but it had a spicy kick and was incredible). I wish I could have stayed longer. What a gem!

They have bread! Daily and special selection by day of the week. Avocado toast was good, should have had them put an egg on it 🤔. Ham and Swiss croissant was great. Bought some bread and muhumara 😍

Today was our first visit to the Grain Shed in the Perry District and I will say the Roasted Turkey Sammy was the best ever!! Fresh bread and fresh ingredients!! The spicy slaw and herb mayo just added so much flavor!! The Helles Lager was exceptionally refreshing and good!! And Toby... what a friendly guy!! And the entire staff was so personable!! Thank you all for the delicious treat and we'll definitely be back. And we can't wait for their restaurant to open in Liberty Lake!!

Top culinary experience of my life. This is what baked foods should be. Unreal!!

Alright, so here’s the deal. I get the granola here all the time. Like, it’s become a thing. My partner and I wake up, eat it together before walking the dogs, and I swear it’s one of those small, perfect morning rituals that makes life feel good. I don’t know what they put in it, maybe love, maybe magic, but it’s seriously the best granola I’ve ever had. Crunchy, balanced, not too sweet, not too hipster. Just right. Then there’s the veggie sandwich. I think they call it the OG or something like that. It’s ridiculous how good it is. I’ve actually tried to recreate it at home, which went terribly, and I gave up halfway through. And it’s not even like I need to save money doing it myself. The price here is kind of genius. It’s that rare combination where you’re like, “Yeah, that’s worth it.” You feel good spending money here because you can tell it’s going to people who care. Now let’s talk about the staff. What’s up with these people? Where do they find them? Everyone’s so nice and happy it almost feels suspicious. They’ve either discovered the secret to human joy or they’re getting paid better than anyone else in the service industry. Either way, it’s working. The place has this warm, family vibe where everyone seems genuinely happy to be there, which, let’s be honest, is rare these days. On weekends, you sometimes see kids running around helping out, and I’m just assuming they’re the owners’ kids. Otherwise, there’s a whole child labor situation happening, kidding obviously. But really, it adds to the charm. It feels like a real community space where everyone pitches in. And let’s not forget pizza night. Pizza night has saved my life more than once. It’s one of those things you look forward to after a long week. You walk in, you see familiar faces, smell that wood-fired magic, and suddenly the world makes sense again. All in all, Grand grain Shed is one of those rare places that just feels good. The food’s incredible, the energy is right, and the people are real. It’s the kind of place you brag to your friends about but also secretly don’t want to get too popular because you still want a seat. Seriously, five stars, maybe six if they ever start selling that granola by the bucket.

Everything we ate was delicious! I loved the idea and execution of a bread and sauce flight and there was live music.

Outstanding food quality, elevated breakfast favorites here in a casual and comfortable setting with ample indoor and outdoor seating and friendly, efficient service. Oh yeah and the cappuccino is on point! I love this place! Get in line at the counter to order. They assign you a table number as you're waiting in line. Order. Head to your table and they bring everything to you. Get there early if you can because this place gets busy. I had the best eggs Benedict I've ever tasted. Every detail perfect. The fresh baked English muffin, the decadent hollandaise sauce, perfectly poached eggs, and high quality ham all worked in harmony to create eggs Benny bliss! Kudos to the kitchen! And the Maple Pecan Scone I tasted was excellent.

If you don’t mind throwing down for the ultimate brunch experience, this is certainly your place. Tucked right off the Pullman highway just a few minutes from downtown Spokane, this location knows their brunch. When you enter, you get a whiff of fresh baked goods and a large open commercial kitchen that showcases their pastry creations of the day. While the line can be a bit long on weekends, they have created a seamless system where you order your meal at the front register and get a pastry right away while you go find a table and wait for your drinks and meal. Savory or sweet, they have it on the menu. I had their matcha latte and eggs florentine, with a chocolate croissant and couple pastries for the road. The food is entirely reasonable for the large portions you get. Flavors were sensational and absolutely satisfying. If you want to kick your morning up a knotch from the standard espresso, they have Irish coffees, Bloody Mary’s and Spiced Russians. This place knows how to do it right!

Had a friend recommend this place and it did NOT disappoint! Walking in I was welcomed with the most charming patio and cozy vibe indoor. Every single staff member was chatty, happy and seemed in great spirits! We sat and maybe waited for what felt like five minutes and then our food came out. As if it couldn’t get any better the food and latte knocked it out of the park! 10/10 recommend! You can feel the love that goes into this place! We will be back!

Stopped in for dinner, got the pork chop fritter, the Yukon gold potatoes were amazing. The server was stretched pretty thin but did great. The vibe is eclectic, prices are reasonable. Beautiful outdoor patio for nice weather.

The food and coffee were good, felt like the portions were generous. You walk up at the front to order and then sit down, so we didn't have a server checking in. We were sat in the back by the window and unfortunately we were being swarmed by flies. It was even hard to shoo the flies away, flies got in my food and my husband had to pick some out because they were so stubborn and everywhere. Definitely an appetite-killer. Due to the lack of service, we let staff know afterwards, I don't know if anything was done.

Their eggs flourentine is the best I've ever had. It was very savory, I highly recommend it. The atmosphere & service was also very nice. We had to come back a second time before the end of our trip because we loved it.

This beautiful hidden little gem is absolutely a must go-to. Its bot as little as it appears though. Its so big and so much to see when you walk through the garden entry. And rustic in such a pretty way. The portions on the food, WOW!!!!!!! I have to go back and explore more!

A gem in Spokane, Rockwood Bakery is a must-visit spot. Their coffee is spectacular, and the food is just as impressive—everything I tried was absolutely delicious. Beyond the great food and drinks, what really makes this place shine are the workers, who are an absolute delight. The atmosphere is neat and cozy, making it the perfect place to hang out with friends. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee or a place to settle in for a while, you can't go wrong with Rockwood Bakery.

Great coffee shop! The staff were welcoming, friendly, and really made us feel comfortable. The coffee and pastries were delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. A gentleman with a mustache took our order, he was fantastic. We also chatted with the cashier, she was super sweet and had such a bubbly personality. (wish we had asked their names!) We mentioned we were visiting the town, and she told us she had moved here a few years ago. She even shared some great feedback and recommendations on places to visit, which we really appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience and we truly enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend!

Food would be 5 stars but the quiche crust was overbaked and the texture of the quiche was not great. The cinammon scone was AMAZING, coffee was good, seating was easy to find, the neighborhood is super cute, stopped by on the way to Manito Park.

Stopped by here on my lunch break and I'm glad I did but also afraid I will be coming back far too often lol. The cinnamon rolls are possibly the best I've ever had. They're crispy like a danish yet perfectly buttery soft, just mouthwatering. And the zucchini walnut bread was heavenly. As well as the cookie. Everything tastes so fresh and home baked and is very filling. The people up front are friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this place.

Came at noon on a Saturday and it's a pleasant amount of busyness. They have a plethora of food items and all of their coffees come out looking and tasting great!

Thus is a fun bakery and meeting place near Manito Park on the near south hill in Spokane. They have a wide variety of store made muffins, scones, sweet roles, quiche, breads, and breakfast burrito and sandwiches. The coffees good, other drinks too. I'll be back for sure.

I had some trouble signing up with my phone number. If you sign up a few weeks before your birthday you can try a dozen free donuts! I came in and the atmosphere is so cute! I love the vibrancy and vibe overall. Very warm and friendly. I do recommend and I will be back. ✨💕🫶

Nestled in Kendall Yards, I loved the vibe of this cute donut shop! I was there for my birthday dozen of mini donuts and I sampled almost all the flavors! I treated myself to an ocean drink and was surprised by the mini donuts on top and the pretty edible glitter! The donuts were amazing and such a delectable treat!! Definitely worth a stop when you're down that way!

Hello Sugar is my new favorite spot for a coffee and doughnut pick-me-up! The doughnuts are fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor. The staff is incredibly friendly and made me feel super comfortable from the moment I walked in.

This was my first time trying Hello Sugar, and I honestly was underwhelmed by the lack of customer service. Was there 2-3 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and asked what I needed. I placed my order and waited another 10 minutes while the person who does the donuts "finished up" labeling the ice cream case. Apparently the "coffee person" only does drinks and takes orders, as she just stood behid the counter doing nothing. Donuts were okay, but nothing special for the price.

A cute shop. The atmosphere is fun and colorful. I’ve came in and ordered a few times. Each and everytime was a completely different experience. The “new” girl working the counter needs an exponential amount of more training, she’s clueless and I can tell she gets on her coworkers nerves. She needs more customer service training, more shop knowledge, and just a better attitude all together. She gives the impression of the owners daughter that can’t get fired. Lol The couple of times I went in and the girls “kind of” knew what they were doing were the best, my donuts and drinks came out how they are advertised. They are cooked and made to order; so it does take time that they don’t care to tell you about (about 10-30mins). I’ve order the same type of drink and it came out looking and tasted differently every visit. I’ve paid for various sizes and received the drink in the same cup. Overall, the food IS delicious but there is zero consistency between visits. Most were disappointing, knowing the capabilities that this shop has. The complaints are within the customer service and management, NOT the potential product that they could provide. Thank you for coming to my Ted talk. :)

Very friendly staff, was very busy and there were only 2 gals working but they worked hard to make sure everyone got excellent service. Even though the wait was long I could see them working very hard to manage and juggle everything. Im sure it was stressful but they kept a positive and professional demeanor! The donuts were excellent! Was my first time in and was not disappointed.

Love love love Hello Sugar. What a fun place to order the cutest yummy donuts and coffee. I take a walk around the Centennial trail with my pup. The donut carousel . My favorite is the warm pink powdered sugar bucket.

Their fancy croissants are so good. I love the Raspberry one.their Macaroons are also very delicious! Bought a viral fruit dessert and it was 7/10… the orange one was chocolate mousse with a tart orange filling. Maybe I’ll try the raspberry one next time around.

We were excited to try this out and disappointed in the result. The prices were high for the pastries that weren't that great. The desserts were dry, specially the Huckleberry one. The fully enclosed plastic one was good. Perhaps the reason the Huckleberry pen was dry was it wasn't full encased to avoid air. The Gelato was the crown jewel that we loved the most. That was delicious.

Wonderful cafe, with friendly staff! The croissants are the best in the Spokane area, and they have great coffee! Also, the rest of the dessert are outstanding, with a wonderful variety and made in house (a rare thing nowadays). 5+ stars! Would definitely recommend to everyone. Absolutely obsessed with this bakery! Every single item I’ve tried has been fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is beautiful, perfect for grabbing a coffee and pastry or picking up a treat for a special occasion. There macarons and newest fruit cakes are out of this world! You can really taste the quality in everything they make. This place is a gem, can’t recommend it enough!

We enjoyed the strawberry dubai cup on 3 different occasions!! It's heaven.today we had the delicious tea flight and raspberry mirror cake.the desserts are beautiful and delicious. Katrina helped us the last few times and she is so sweet and so knowledgeable with the dessert and recommendations. We loved her input.❤️

I went to get the Dubai chocolate strawberry cup from discovering them on their FB page. It was heavenly! They had perfect crunch to their milk chocolate, and it wasn’t overly sweet. Perfect balance with the strawberries. I’ve told all my friends about it. My daughter loves their fruit treats and they’re all so delicious.

Amazing variety of desserts! I got the Dubai chocolate with my mom. The strawberries were bit mushy and I wish they spread the chocolate out better. But we also got the chocolate cake which was amazing.

What a fantastic bakery! Not only was the lady absolutely precious, the coffee and food was scrumptious! I travel a lot with my family and we are always on the hunt for excellent coffee shops with homemade treats and as y’all know it can sometimes be hit or miss but this morning was a HIT!! This was such a treat and was such a great experience! Mainly because of how lovely the lady was and how sweet and chipper she was early in the morning but to top it off the coffee and food was fantastic! I highly recommend and would go back yesterday if I could! ;)

The food is so so, the wait to be served is seriously awful. While I was waiting over 20 minutes to give my order this morning the guy ahead of me gave up and left. The food just isn't really my cup of tea, but the lemon tart was truly awesome. I ordered a slice of lemon tart, a frittata and a mocha drink. The tart came up right away, the fritatta was about 5-7 minutes later, and the drink was also some amount of time. I felt like my entire visit was watching for the separate pieces of my order to appear on the counter top.

Right idea, terrible execution. Great service but, bagel was mealy and flaccid (they were out of cream cheese). Chorizo breakfast wrap was without chorizo, it was just flat squash. No flavor. Espresso was stale and 16oz iced coffee was 2oz of bad coffee and a cup full of ice. Service was good and the place did not feel rushed, but both the food and the coffee were just terrible.

Great local coffee shop and bakery. The food offerings have great eye appeal and equally delicious flavors. They serve their own roaated coffee that is great im any drink. The staff is always hustling. They get your order right and serve it with gratitude that you're a customer.

This is a fantastic coffee shop with a a great bakery - or a fantastic bakery with a great coffee shop - either way, if you’re looking for a sure thing, stop here. We stopped here on our way to Glacier National and it was such a great experience. The staff was so cheerful and competent and they made our morning. Delightful place. My peanut butter chocolate chip cookie was wonderful, and I wanted to try everything in the case, as it all looked spectacular. Our beverages were super, as well.

It's said the quality and state of a restaurant's kitchen and bathrooms, is the quality of their food. Cole's rocked these and their food was AMAZING. We got the pancakes and chicken fried steak. Both were so good. 🤌🏼 Also tried the Lavender Fog, so good! Place was clean, well designed, lots of product for those sensitive to gluten avail for walk up purchase. Server was kind and efficient. We def suggest you stop in and taste something amazing for yourself.

The food was delicious! I stopped here because they have vegan options and didn't even realize everything is gluten free too. I'm not gluten free but everything was delicious. I got the vegan brownie and one of the vegan burgers. Definitely worth eating here 😁

How have I only just visited Cole’s while being in this area?! HANDS DOWN THE BEST GLUTEN FREE RESTAURANT AROUND! They have a huge variety of food, baked goods, delicious drinks and so much more! When you walk in there is a shopping area where you can purchase refrigerated items (donuts, ice cream, etc), baked goods (carrot cupcakes, cheesecake), to go items (burritos, freeze dried candy, and sandwiches) to mixes made from Simple Mills and more (soup mixes, cake mixes, brownie mixes, etc). There are two separate dining areas. The tables are large, clean and provide everything you might need on hand (sugar, salt and pepper, ketchup). The service was wonderful! Everything is 100% gluten and peanut free! Some items are keto friendly and dairy free. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and they were so fluffy! I highly recommend their hot chocolate as well. The chips that came with my friend’s meal were divine!!! Overall the experience was truly amazing. I simply can’t rave enough about this place. This is definitely worth the trip and I plan on coming back as much as I can!

Wonderful place to go if you have celiac disease, there is absolutely no gluten in any of their products that they sell in the restaurant or in their display cases as well as their baking items. The breakfast was basic pretty typical. I was pretty impressed with the toast since it was gluten-free and it tasted delicious. I thought it would taste different. It ended up tasting like regular bread. And the the tea drink that I had with the milk in it was delicious. I definitely want that one again. The service was wonderful and the owner was kind. It seemed very busy at lunchtime, but it was great. No complaints here. I will be going back since my sweet little daughter-in-law has celiac disease and I will be picking up bread for her quite often. And vegetarian options are definitely available if you are a vegan.

I love they have gluten free and dairy free foods it helps a lot with dietary needs. I took some lemon bars, lime bars and salted caramel cupcakes home. Love the lemon bars. Lime bars were a little bland for my taste. The salted caramel cupcakes were ok, the frosting tasted a bit artificial. We ate there, got fish and chips. They were good, wish it was a little more for the price. Service was alright. Friendly people. Overall I will go again, but it's a bit expensive for what you get. However, everywhere and everything seems expensive anymore.

I wasn’t planning on stopping at anywhere in particular because I was starving and need to eat.. but Cole’s just happened to be very close. I’m so happy my stomach’s intuition guided me to this place!! 😊 The food was delicious and fresh and the FOH Manager was very accommodating and friendly. I didn’t see a lot of workers, so I didn’t mind waiting a few minutes to order, but every time she walked by me she acknowledged me and reassured me that she would assist me ASAP. I ordered the “Dirty Fries” because my stomach was running the show at this point not my healthy conscience. When they came out they were exactly as I had hoped for! Hot, natural cut fries with a generous helping of cheese sauce, pulled pork, their signature BBQ sauce, and topped off with green onions.. 😱🤑 my tastebuds were very pleased. Also need to mention the Butterscotch and cashew cookies were a perfect mix of sweet, crunchy, & chewy. ❤️ I will be back and recommend you to my friends 👍.

Okay how does this place not have a line out the door at all times. It has the cutest aesthetic and patio. I walked in and knew this would be my go to coffee shop ❤️ the pastries are a 10/10. So far I’ve tried the pecan bar and the cinnamon pop tart. The coffee is also delicious. If you ever want to go out for coffee definitely opt for this cute spot.

What a wonderful little bakery. Truly a gem. I stopped by this morning after reading the reviews and wanting to find a little spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee, maybe a baked good. It was the perfect morning that I needed. The store is quaint and lovely but the patio is the magic spot to be. Lovely flowers in various stages of bloom filled the air with a gentle sweetness. The patio is covered from the sun and a gentle breeze rolled in every now and then. I sat for several hours enjoying the peaceful atmosphere, reading a good book and sipping my coffee. I tried a few of the treats and the pecan bar was incredible. I haven't been home in nearly 6 months and I was craving a good homemade chocolate chip cookie, the kind with slightly crunchy exterior but a good soft chew in the middle and there's was everything I was hoping it would be. I love this little shop, so glad I stopped in.

Just found this gem when we were in Spokane today. The coffee was very good and the gluten free vegan cupcakes were absolutely delicious!! Tamar, the owner, is the sweetest and said she does catering, weddings and deliveries! Highly recommend!!

Adorable and yummy! Seems like coffee, scones, and cookies are the mainstays. There are other offerings. The proprietor is so sweet. You can watch them pull baked goodies out of the oven. The inside is cute with a floral accent wall and paintings for sale by a local artist. Inside, soft jazz/piano. Outside, a couple of young people were playing guitar and singing. Great ambiance.

These ladies are amazing and make really good gluten free (gf) sweets! Come check them out!

Here is a warning to anybody who eats at this place, I have come to find out that the owner leaves Dairy cones that are supposed to be refrigerated out all day in her presentation boxes right out front by the register, I have also come to find out that she sold a day old cherry pie that was left out all night to a customer, she doesn't follow standard sanitation responsibilities, I was also informed that she uses day-old sanitation water to clean her equipment she does not follow the health department guidelines to where the sanitation water needs to be changed every two to four hours, also she doesn't test her sanitation water to make sure it is up to code, she treats her employees like garbage in fact I was informed that one of her employees was given a two-day notice to make a $1,000 wedding cake which in my 15 plus years of cooking experience as a chef is totally unacceptable, at minimum a $1,000 three-tier wedding cake is supposed to be given at minimum a week to two week notice. for everybody's health and safety I would recommend someone to call the health department on this woman because she does not clean properly, her Bakery might be called made with love but it is more like made with greed because she rather try to make the money then try to do it out of love she is trying to get her hands in every company that she can before even able to produce the items that she says she's going to, furthermore I have been informed that she does not listen to the customers complaints in fact she never gets back to the customers that complains, she is under the impression that her being self-taught is better than listening to somebody who went to actual baking School for Everybody's Health and safety I would highly not recommend eating here she will make you sick if not worse

The homemade chai was absolutely delicious! The entire place was such a vibe, and the staff were excellent. Loved the outdoor patio, and its dog friendly!

Great cake and great cookies. My favorites are the butter pecan cookies and huckleberry thumbprint cookies- great texture and flavor! Reasonably priced. My favorite of the sliced cakes are the chocolate cake with chocolate chip frosting, the tuxedo cake and the mini birthday cakes. Yum!! They have a wall with windows to see all the various sliced cakes in the refrigerator so you can choose. The cakes are moist and tasty and the frostings are smooth, creamy and great flavors. Hubby likes the red velvet best- try them all! Always make a point to visit and stock up when I'm in Spokane.

Everything about using this bakery for our wedding was amazing. The cake was BEAUTIFUL, service was great and the cake was delicious! Prices were very reasonable as well. Can not recommend this place enough!

They made little individual cakes for a big event we were having. UH-mazing cakes and delivered on time. Definitely a 5 star place!

It’s just too sweet—I feel like I need an insulin shot after one bite (just kidding)! But the environment, service, and atmosphere are great. Maybe the item I ordered was just a bit too sweet for my taste.

Not bad but not great. We arrived at 10am, a long line with slow service. The bakery items did not taste very fresh, the Almond croissant was rock hard. The eggs tasted like powdered eggs

We arrived at 11:30 a.m. on a weekday. It was a warm sunny day, so we sat outside. I ordered the Fresh Apricot Crepes, a special offerred that day. They were delicious! I also ordered a latte and a Madeline cookie. Yum! Everything was good and I do recommend this place for a delicious lunch. The outdoor seating is cheery and quaint. It really is the perfect place for a long conversation with a good friend. Restrooms were easily accessible and clean.

Madeleine's Cafe & Patisserie is not a far cry from a French bistro but is very close with quality and decor. Pastries are incredible. Coffee is tasty, not burnt. Staff are knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. Highly recommend the quiche and side pasta and any of their melt in your mouth buttery croissants.

They have elite pastries and some really great breakfast. The Coffee strong. The service was very friendly. It's a great place for a quick sit-down bite. Highly recommend.

Absolutely a necessary stop for mouth watering pastries! The croissants were so flaky and buttery. Macrons, extremely flavorful. Cinnamon rolls, gargantuan! Breakfast potatoes, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. And let’s not forget the coffee! Don’t hesitate to add Madeline’s Cafe & Patisserie to your must taste travel list!!

Interesting location to try new things. I wouldn't call them "French" as the dishes are Americanized. More like fusion cuisine even. The dish I tried had Korean, Argentinian, and Southern influences and nothing French; not even the fries (good try but way too oily for my taste). They were out of croissants (I'll try next time) and drip coffee.

First time here. The shop is small and has coffee on the menu, though I didn’t try it. I asked the price for a dozen donuts and was told $30, but when I checked out, I was charged $35. It was also a bit hard to communicate with the staff. The donuts aren’t terrible, but are they worth $35? Not really.

Overall the dough has a good texture and taste. Any of the filled doughnuts (jelly and custard) are very disappointing. They could be great, but need more in them. The filling is only in 1/4 of the doughnut or less. I really liked the blueberry cake doughnut, but wish it didn't have such a thick coating of glaze. A light layer would be good, but there was just too much.

The maple bar frosting itself had a great flavor, but the donut was very dense, doughy, and slightly wet. It seemed to me like it wasn't completely cooked all the way through, but wasn't totally raw. Even my kid didn't want to eat all of hers. We were both excited to try a treat from here for the first time, so it was pretty disappointing.

Pros: free parking and helpful staff. They also had vegan donuts. Cons: Probably the worst donuts of my life. The vegan donut was so bad it was inedible. The maple bacon was mediocre at best with way too much frosting to cover up the bad dough. The raspberry filed was decent. My total was about $10 for 3 donuts. The store seemed dingy and dirty. Definitely will not be back.

I got a half dozen Vegan donuts and all of them were completely raw in the middle :( I've gotten their donuts a few times and this is the first time so I don't think it's normal for them, just really disappointed this time around. I think the dough was too thick to cook all the way through, felt very heavy.

Super cute shop. The layout is small but done well and seating is spacious. Their donut selection seams a little limited. That said I think it's because they focus on quality and not quantity. Service was very good and warm. Our conversation was very natural and not forced/fake. Definitely will be coming back.

On the morning of Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, I experienced Casual Friday Donuts in the Spokane Valley for the first time. I went inside to place my order and was assisted by Audrey who was really nice and helpful. Because the old fashioned donut I purchased was small, she added an additional old fashioned donut to our box at no extra charge. In addition to the old fashioned donut I also picked out a maple bar, chocolate sprinkle (called a “Homer” in honor of the Simpsons), apple fritter, and a raised donut filled with a peanut butter-type icing. All donuts have their own prices and my order totaled $14.95. I brought the donuts home and presented them to my wife as it was her birthday. She was really pleased but graciously shared them with me. I tried the raised donut, the apple fritter, and the maple bar. All three donuts were delicious, fresh, and filling. The raised donut was especially filling and the peanut butter icing was a nice touch. Believe it or not, the maple bar was probably my favorite. Overall we were satisfied with Casual Friday Donuts. Of course you are going to pay more than you would at a grocery store bakery but for a special treat every now and then I think that is okay. Our family tradition is to always pick up donuts on the morning of birthdays so we will return to Casual Friday.

Picked up a Valentines quad today, experience in the shop was okay, I got in line and was told I needed to stand elsewhere for my pickup, the employee was vague and a little snappy when I asked for clarification on where to stand. A couple employees were snapping photos of pies, picking the pies up with bare hands and touching their phones with no handwashing in between, they put them back in the display case after. I understand they may have been cautious about touching the pie pan but still a food safety concern, if my pies were coming out of the case I would’ve requested a refund. The pies are cute overall but one looks like it was dropped or jostled before making it to my box. Kind of a bummer since that one was a gift, I’m sure it’ll still taste good, but would’ve liked it to be just as cute.

I really liked the decor, layout and open display window/counter at Birdie's Pie Shop. It was so clean and I counted 3 ladies hard at work making pies. The selection made it hard to choose cause I knew I had to share (A very smart option-4 mini's) to take home. Sweet and savory pie options, genius!! They were all delicious but my favorite this first round was the lemon raspberry. I'll definitely be back!

Birdies offers a variety of savory and dessert pies accompanied by outstanding customer service. The young lady who helped me today was friendly, personable and vey helpful in selecting just what we were looking for. The pies are fresh and delicious! Will definitely be returning for treats and just because.

Super delicious pies! They offer sweet, Apple, pecan, key lime (amazing!), triple berry, as well as savory, pot pies! You can get large pies, personal pies, or do a tasting sampler with small cupcake size pies. Everything was delicious, not a key lime pie fan normally but it was delicious

My mom retired this year, and I wanted to celebrate her. She loves custard pie, but I was having a hard time finding a place that made it. It is not on their menu, but an employee let me know via Facebook to order the crème brûlée custard pie! I called on a Thursday morning for pick up on Saturday. They had it ready to go! It was delicious and made her celebration special.

I am not a big fan of pies but their pies are soft, fresh and sweet! If you don’t like too sweet then you might wanna reconsider ;) I tried their chocolate pie and it was good. I wish they had more choices with the flavors!

I have visited the Spokane Birdie's Pie Shop on several occasions and always been thrilled with both the quality of the pies and service! they have a delightful model of having the Baker/cashier come out in front of the counter to greet each guest and share as much info as you would like to hear about the pies they have available. The service has always been friendly and informative on my visits. I most recently visited on Pi day because I could not resist their incredible $3.14 per personal pie deal! While there was a line, reaching out the door, it moved smoothly and fairly quickly. I ended up taking home 6 pies - 2 Triple Berry, PB & Jealous, Chocolate, Key Lime, and Coconut Cream and added in a regular priced Chicken Pot Pie for dinner, because they are just so darn good! I can safely say that all have been delicious and any friends I have shared them with have been over-the-moon delighted!

Service was ok. But, $10 for a puny little sandwich??? Really? If you're paying employees minimum wage, why are your food prices so f'ing high? I got the BAST. Which was bacon, spinach, avocado and tomato. Maybe 2 slices of bacon, one thin slice of tomato, one super thin slice of avocado (almost couldn't find it), 2 spinach leaves with stems. Cheap Lays potato chips and a pickle spear on the side. If it was my restaurant, I'd be embarrassed. Taste was good. But, do people ever come back here? Who can afford it? Not me. Btw, Best is an Egyptian cat.

Something must’ve happened because this place is not what it used to be. These two pastries were $11 and the croissant looks so sloppy and not flakey at all. Honestly should’ve walked out and not purchased anything. They used to be good but damn...

Our first time here. Most excellent gourmet HUGE croissants breakfast sandwiches n pastries. Fresh, flakey and scrumptious. Coffee was hot and excellent variety of teas n condiments at clenched bar Great variety of breads and I found non-gluten muffins n baked goods for my sister n nephews -- going to freeze n the to north Idaho for Christmas. Definitely a worthy bakery to visit.

If you want a comfortable, affordable spot for a quick breakfast or lunch, this is it! The Reuben hot sandwich is, in my opinion, the best in town. The lattes are excellent and reasonably priced, the service is excellent, and the dining area is comfortable. The baked goods are amazing... Be sure to take home some freshly baked bread!

First time coming today. Everything was good, the Cinnamon roll is HUGE and a lot of bread. The middle was great. Had a pinwheel that was good and my daughter got a scone that was 300% chocolate. (Lots of chocolate) Overall everything was good, and I may be coming back if I'm in the area to try more stuff.

LOVE this place. But it is not fast and there is no parking. So be prepared to come during the off hours and leisurely wait for your food. But well worth the wait. There are many options for seating including cushy chairs, couches, booths, and benches. All of the areas are cozy and intimate. There are fabulous kids toys including a wooden rocking horse and creative cube for toddlers. The pastries are to die for and the breakfast options a slam dunk. (Heart attack style unless you are French and immune to such consequences) If you want to demonstrate how much your love your coworkers buy then pastries here! Right next to the buttery goodness is a deli with lighter options like single hard boiled eggs and quinoa kale salad. Yum! Something for everyone. The drip coffee is fabulous but the espresso drinks are blase. Skip em and spend your money on other menu items. For those of us who can speak the French name we call this place the "little cat" without shame!

They have some good pastries (I really like the pear one), and some of their other baked goods are tasty but can be dry. I really like their savory hot croissants (f.ex. tomato pesto) but they run out early. I do not like the dining area. The couches and upholstered chairs look dirty and worn... I once noticed wads of hair and crumbs... the rest of the place looks kinda dirty too. The coffee is ok. The only reason I come back is for the occasional pastry and delicious savory croissant.

This was my favorite restaurant during my visit to Spokane. The food was delicious and the service was great. I wish I could remember our servers name because she was great and so helpful. I ordered the pork tenderloin and it was incredible. There was so much flavor and I was so glad I got it. My colleague got the bucatini and said it was really good as well. They also brought out some bread with the most delicious sweet butter. 10/10 experience and I would absolutely go back.

Tonight was our third visit to Wild Sage and what we’ve found is that this restaurant NEVER disappoints! We tried their tácitos and now we see why people rave about this appetizer. It’s the perfect blend of crunch, spice and creamy avocado! We love their bacon and blue cheese salad and have gotten this every time we’ve eaten there. There’s something very satisfying about this flavor combination that has us committed to repeating it with each visit. Their light popovers with lavender honey butter are divine and are bordering on an addiction for us both. We tried the bouillabaisse and agreed that the rich, savory sauce pulled all of the flavors together and made it a winner! We ended our meal with their signature coconut cake that, I’m convinced, could solve the world’s problems—oh my, is that heavenly! Our hostess tonight was Sophie (a friendly, bubbly girl who welcomed us and made us comfortable from the start), our server was Mike (knew the menu very well and was able to make some great recommendations for us, he timed the delivery of each dish perfectly so that we weren’t left waiting for the next course), our cook was Logan (very talented chef who made every flavor pop!) and we even met the owner, Garth, tonight. He’s a great, down-to-earth guy who has formed a fabulous team that performs together like clockwork. We had an excellent meal and an enjoyable evening! We’ll be back soon because we love this place!

Wild Sage Bistro is pure love from the first bite! The food is insanely delicious, every dish feels like a mini masterpiece, and the presentation? You’re eating with your eyes first! Everything is plated with so much care, like proper fine-dining vibes. The atmosphere is quiet, cozy, perfect for a chill dinner. And thank God, the windows are covered — no need to see the “horrors” of downtown Spokane! 😂🤪 Inside, it’s gorgeous, stylish, and just feels special. I’m definitely coming back and recommending this to everyone — a must-visit in Spokane!

We had an awesome anniversary dinner here. First time trying it and we were really impressed with everything. Our server Sean was wonderful and attentive. He made great recommendations and we loved everything that we tried. They have mocktails and non-alcoholic beer which was a plus for us because we don't drink. We tried the taquitos and while we are not vegetarian, it was really nice you have options without meat. We loved them. The flavor was awesome. We got the lemon chicken which was really unique and had great flavor. The veggies were so fresh you could tell they were like same day picked most likely. My husband got the flank steak and he loved it. It came with potatoes and they were cooked perfectly and awesome. We got the coconut cake for dessert as well as the chocolate macaroon vegan ice cream. It was very cool to find out that most of the items are gluten free. My husband said it was the best ice cream he has ever had. We ate upstairs and the area was kind of tight but it was still very enjoyable. We were frequently checked on. E salads were awesome and we also loved the rolls. They gave us little chocolates for our anniversary which was very appreciative and they were very tasty. The only negatives I have are the area is a little sketchy and we chose to walk there from our hotel. I would not recommend walking in the area. And the only negative I could find in the food was that my parmesan polenta was a little colder than the other items on my plate. I feel like it was maybe plated first or something but it definitely had great flavor was, just a little cold. I was impressed and would love to try this place again.

Wild Sage was amazing, we sat at the bar to grab some quick cocktails and apps before heading downtown and ended up having a great experience. Alex at the bar had some great recommendations for us, the Taquitos were out of this world! The kilt lifter and the H.F. Bean Old Fashioned were both great. The real star of the show however was her custom taken on an espresso martini which I want to name Arabesque Aurora. It. Was. Amazing! Definitely make your way here and treat yourself. 10/10 will be going back.

This place is incredible. Awesome service the 20 years I’ve been going. Here’s what the food looked like on busy Saturday night. The chef visits each table to answer any questions and check on the food.

The appetizers blew us away! The taquitos and the ahi tuna crudo was amazing! All the ingredients that made up the plate was impressive.

The museum is much more expansive than it seems from the outside, featuring three levels in the main building, a charming art gallery, and the historic Campbell house along with its carriage house. The exhibits are thoughtfully arranged and brilliantly lit, weaving together captivating narratives of history, culture, and change. If you find yourself in Spokane, this is an absolute must-visit! You certainly won’t be disappointed, and the admission fee is quite reasonable at just $15 for adults.

For years "The MAC" has been a place my family and I have enjoyed visiting periodically and they never cease to disappoint. With the newest addition to our family, my wife and I took advantage of the Bank of America Museum days offer and ventured to the latest showcase. It was just so beautifully done and incredibly unique learning about the indigenous origin stories of a First Nations group in British Columbia. The art was superb and story telling very involved and thoughtfully showcased. It's a peaceful museum that regularly has exhibits suitable for the family. We toured the Campbell House while we were at it and love how well they have restored and preserved the history of Spokane and it's architecture. It's certainly worth a visit any day any time of the year and we'll continue to come for years.

Definitely do some research about what’s on display before you go and check for any other closures. We visited earlier in 2025 and the basement of the Campbell House was closed for repair and they were in the middle of redoing one of the main exhibits in the museum. We were offered a rain check to come back for the Campbell House but not the main museum. Word of warning-the rain checks are printed on receipt paper and are heat sensitive. I kept it in the car so we would have it when we returned but after hot Spokane summers, the paper had just turned black. Also, the Campbell House doesn’t open at the same time as the museum so if you want to see both, check the hours ahead of time. We did go back this past weekend and were able to see everything we missed the first time around. They do a great job of showcasing everything.

I really enjoyed discovering this gem of a museum while exploring Spokane. There are some nice permanent exhibits they chronicle the local indigenous peoples. In addition, the museum produces high-quality traveling exhibits like the Samurai and photography exhibits on display when I visited.

Had a wonderful time visiting NMAC and artfest today. The Campbell house was amazing too! Lots to see and learn. The $5 entrance fee was definitely worth it. A must visit!

Way Kool place. Samurai, Sunrise, Sunset exhibition way kooler. The Campbell House is a look and walk back in time. Friendly, helpful, informative staff. On street parking, limited but free. Fun for one or the whole family

LOVE this place! It's amazing that a small museum like this can get such impactful and culturally important shows. The curatorial work done by in-house staff to highlight local history and culture is also so impressive. Additional educational programming is so creative and engaging. There is always something going on here and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Amazing brunch experience. Was recommended this place by a friend, since we are from out of town. Customer service was very welcoming, and the food was spectacular. Wish I could have bought some of the in house jam, cause it was so fresh and exciting with flavor. Love goes into the food here. Also thank you to our server Sarah, you 6 years of experience definitely made our experience dining in amazing. Get the Shirmp and Grits and full breakfast, it won't disappoint. Will be back again!!

The menu had tempting descriptions so it was too hard to choose, I ordered TWO meals (dutch babies and pancakes) and took most of the second one home with us. My son said his food was great as well. There is definitely a 50s diner feel to the place, which we liked. The only less-than-complimentary comment I have is that it is always hard for us to find parking in Kendall Yards.

Staff wasn’t very friendly. Our server was SO quiet. I felt bad having to keep saying, “I’m sorry, what was that?” We were also brought dirty water cups with coffee grounds in the bottom of them. No big deal, they took them back and gave us new water. The chai tea was pretty flavorless. Only “chai flavor” came from the cinnamon on top. Kinda disappointing. And the espresso martini (which was brought out in a wine glass, we got a kick out of that!) was the same. Pretty bland and was basically lukewarm. The food was good though! The deviled eggs were nice. The syrup and bacon combined with the eggs were actually pretty good. We tried the Eggs Benedict. The eggs were great! Cooked perfectly. Potatoes were a little lackluster. We also got the Green Goddess Eggs Benedict and substituted the hollandaise sauce for the house gravy and it was really good! The restaurant itself was kind of loud. Hard to have a decent conversation, but overall it was alright. Maybe next time I’ll just order takeout.

Walked in, greeted & Sat at a cute lil clean table for 2. Menus were easy to read & thickly laminated. Waiter Gavin took a little longer to get to us which they were kinda busy, but he was lovely. Knew the menu well. We placed our orders (wife was kinda upset they were out of shrimp of the shrimp 🍤 and grits). Kitchen was prompt and fairly quick to get items out. We enjoyed our experience and will be back...

Your money goes a long way here. Everything is amazing, I’m incredibly impressed by how good the food is and how much effort they put in to make a simple dish better. The yogurt, green goddess Benedict, carrot soup, and avocado toast were amazing. Everyone was so friendly and service was perfect. The chefs also clearly know what they’re doing. Thanks for the awesome food!

Nice brunch stop. The food is great and good portion sizes. I recommend the brunch bowl, if you like rice. Service was good, atmosphere was nice.

Millennial taco place. They have sharables, chalkboard signs, metal trays, and a cool hipster behind the bar. The employees here were awesome and fun to talk to. The food was decent for mexican themed food but the furthest thing from authentic. It was also extremely overpriced. The salsas (and 5 dollar guacamole) were served in very tiny containers (id say about 1.5-2 ounces of sauce at best) that were difficult to scoop from. They do have free water here which i really enjoyed. I highly recommend if your a hip mellenial

I asked ChatGPT for the best Mexican restaurant in Spokane and it directed me to this place. My daughter and I shared the queso fundido, pork cheek carnitas, rice and pinto beans, and shrimp tacos. Everything was unbelievably delicious. The shrimp tacos had a strawberry vinegar compote of some sort and slivered almonds. The pork carnitas was succulent - perfect blend of salt, fat, acid, and sweet. The rice and beans were authentic and even the chips and queso (with rough cut tomato salsa) was best I’ve ever had. I don’t know where the chef was trained but BRAVO! I told everyone at the front desk at the hotel where we are staying how fabulous this place is! Wish we were staying another night just so we can go back and try the birria torte and tacos!

I had high hopes for this place, but was left meh. The tacos are pricey and lacking a lot of flavor. The Cochinita was a big disappointment, not done right at all, but I can't fault them since we live in the Yucatán and are spoiled. The tacos were OK, just not great or that full for the price. The chips and salsa wasn't bad, just a bit too chunky. Overall the value for quality isn't up to par.

Cochinito is a great spot for fast, flavorful eats. I had the birria tacos and the lamb—both tender, well-seasoned, and clearly made with care. You order at the counter, and service was fast and efficient. Water is self-serve, and the space has a modern, laid-back vibe with cool decor. Great for a quick but satisfying meal. Construction in the area made it a bit of an adventure to find, but the signage is clear which helps.

This is one of my favorite taco places ever! I love the unique flavors they come up with!! Whenever I come to Spokane, I try to come here. I wish they were open on Sundays, but I get it. I also wish they offered flour tortillas because I’m form sensitive. But I don’t care about having a reaction because it’s THAT good 😂

Cochinito was excellent. The asada was amazing, the chips were fresh, and the juice was perfectly balanced… not too sweet. They even had a high chair and booster, which was a big plus. We’ll definitely be back!

Clean and modern restaurant, servers were all friendly and helpful. If you have any questions about the menu, just ask! I got the lamb taco and the fish taco, and both were incredible. These are not your average tacos, they are truly carefully crafted bites with a lot of thought and effort put into the balance of flavors. Spokane is lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant! My only complaint is that on the lamb taco, I couldn’t find any asparagus for the life of me. If it’s not an ingredient on that taco anymore, or if the restaurant is out of some ingredients, I would have appreciated being told before purchase, that’s all. Highly recommend eating here before you leave Spokane! Very unique food made with great skill, that you won’t find anywhere else!

Visited this place a couple of weeks ago. Very nice atmosphere... We sat right next to the oven so it was cool to watch the cooking but it was also a bit warm. If I had to do it over, I wouldn't order the short rib ravioli and would have opted for shrimp and grits. Steak bites and fries were also tasty!

Great experience at this new restaurant. The owner/chef's creations were perfect. Definitely great comfort food. This place is very casual and lively yet upscale. Service was perfect. From the greeting at the front to the table service, the staff were attentive, welcoming, cheerful and prompt. Both the restaurant manager and the bar manager checked in with us to ensure all was well. Drinks, entrees and dessert were all great. They will eventually have patio seating which will be nice as the restaurant faces the centennial trail and the river view. Overall, great opening night and worth the visit to Kendall Yards for this new restaurant. We will most definitely be back.

So. If you haven’t heard of SecretBurger, you’re missing out! It’s a thing that popping up ALL over! Spokane, Las Vegas, SF AND MANY MORE! Anyway, Park Losge hosted a pulled pork, (off the menu) burger thing that was down right crazy! So many flavors, pretzel bun, fresh Jalapeños, fantastically complimenting fries and a bomb off the menu drink to go with it! HOLY WOW!!! I was so happy! My tummy was so happy! What a fun experience! Also Kendal yards is amazing!!! Can’t wait to bring family and friends! 10/10 recommend!

So good! On a recommendation to check this place out we just had to try and it didn’t disappoint! Started with the steak tartar and then had their steak frites and the halibut special which was amazing! Finished off with a pots de creme which was so good! The staff were really nice and attentive. A must to eat at!

This is our new favorite place in Spokane. It's located at the end of the Kendall Yards area. The space is warm and interesting. The staff is top notch. The food is fabulous. We have tried numerous dishes including the scallops, the roasted chicken and the flat iron steak. Each dish was superbly prepared and tasted. Some of the dishes could have been shared but no one wanted to share because they liked their selection so much

Park Lodge is our favorite restaurant in Spokane. We love the patio in the summer. Great place at 5 pm usually all to ourselves for a while. While they have great food in general...the Park Lodge Burger is my favorite anywhere...1/2 pound beef and I ask for the fries extra crispy. My wife likes a lemondrop...I usually have an IPA. Come give them a try!

Having the carnitas tacos for lunch made me feel like I was back in Puerto Vallarta. We order from De Leon’s often, typically using the catering option for large get togethers, but today I had to stop and get some bread for making tortas at home and decided to have lunch while there. As always the food was right on point and I left full and happy. One of my favorite Mexican restaurants in town and a must for those who haven’t tried.

I've been shopping and eating at De Leon's since I was a small child when the De Leon Family opened their first location. It's always been a place of warmth, acceptance, and delicious food served with pride and care. It never seizes to amaze me the quality of their menu and the grocery, it's been consistent for decades, I have come to a point where I just know I'll get everything I expect when I visit and more. De Leon's is what home means to myself and my family and I will continue to share it with the next generation as long as they are around. Best Tamales around by the way.

Omg, that is the place to eat and authentic Mexican food. It is also a Latin market. Tamales are so good!! Jamaica was very refreshing

Owner/Manager Please speak to the ladies who serve food . Very rude to us, we ordered and people after us received their food ahead of us. My daughter was on her lunch break early at 1130 before the lunch crowd. We are with the crowd because she did serve us our food for 10 or so minutes. It's not ok to blatantly treat us this way. Wished I would have gotten a name. She was the younger one. Very sad. Because we are from California and miss good Mexican food. I'm very sad I won't be coming back. But if the ladies knew us they'd like us. Your cashier up front does🥺

Hands down the worst carneceria we’ve gone to. The meat is extremely overpriced (over $8 for pastor when we’ve never paid over $4) and not to mention the taste. I’m not exaggerating when I say the flavor is the least authentic, worst tasting I’ve had in my life. Spokane needs to do better.

Love this place! Come here for real authentic Mexican food. Best tortillas in town in my opinion! They have groceries, a bakery, AND a restaurant at this location on Francis.

I love how they have everything you need for a great Mexican dinner. I also like that you can order food while shopping. I was a bit disappointed with the Mexican bread though. It didn't taste as fresh as the first time I went. Maybe the baker had an off day. Hopefully next time the bread will be softer and will be better. This is my go to store when in Spokane.

Came here with my daughter on a day off school and the vibe was 10/10 and the bagel was even better!! I am celiac and got a gluten free bagel sandwich and cinnamon rolls and they were soooo good!! We will be back!

An 8 oz cappuccino for $5.75? To make it even stranger, a latte here is actually cheaper than a cappuccino. On top of that, it took 30 minutes just to order and get my drink—on a Wednesday, with barely any line. Definitely not worth the wait or the price.

My best friend and I LOVE this place! We came here 3 years ago during a covid road trip for my bestie since he is GF and this place has lots of GF options. We are back 3 years later driving through Spokane and made a point to come back here. The food was just as good and we got to eat inside and talk to the staff and patrons this time. What a charming place, great food, good playlist, and all the people eating were happy and enjoying themselves. Great prices. I hope to come back again one day!

On the lookout for a new breakfast bakery for meetings. Just did a google search and saw the shop. They were my 2nd stop of the morning. Parking is limited as is the menu for breakfast pastries. I see cinnamon rolls and get 1 to go. Over $7.00 very disappointed the roll was not freshly made. When I tapped it with a fork it made that stale bread tapping sound. When I tried a bite it was hard not soft but more like a day or 2 old. Ok sometimes bread products can dry around the cut edges quickly so I tapped the roll through the frosting it was still dry. If fresh this would have been a 5 star rating because it clearly has tons of flavor looks and smells wonderful just not freshly made

I had been looking forward to trying this place for months, and we finally stopped in with our kids. We ordered lattes and a few breakfast treats, including cinnamon rolls and a brownie. The lattes were fantastic—rich and flavorful—but the pastries were a bit of a letdown. They tasted stale and lacked the freshness we were hoping for. The service also left something to be desired. The staff member at the counter was very quiet and didn’t offer to warm up our pastries, which would have made a big difference. We initially planned to sit inside but ended up taking everything home just to heat it up. With so many charming, locally owned spots in town, a little extra attention to customer service and food quality could really elevate the experience. Hoping to see some improvements because this place has great potential!

My boyfriend and I decided to visit today, and we were both pretty excited until we walked in & the first thing we saw were AI generated postcards. I'm used to the shop supporting local and small artists, so seeing AI "art" was pretty disheartening. We were largely ignored too, despite it being pretty empty aside from a couple other customers. Coffee is good, but I'm disappointed.

Very nice vibe and environment to kick back with a drink or even do some work. We really enjoyed our iced chai and looking at some of the trinkets. Staff was very kind and hope to be back soon!

While staying in Spokane, a colleague recommended that I have dinner at this restaurant. I decided to visit on my own, and I'm glad I did — the interior is beautifully lit with natural light and has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. I was initially seated at the bar, but I would have preferred to sit at a table. It would be nice if solo diners had the option to choose a table as well. That said, the woman who assisted me was very pleasant and explained the menu clearly. I ordered the fresh oysters and the Campanelle. The food was delicious, especially the oysters, which were fresh and flavorful. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance and the attentive service. Next time, I’d love to come back with a friend and enjoy a longer, more relaxed meal.

We came here for our friends 40th birthday and wow was it perfect! The atmosphere is cozy but modern, really good vibes overall inside with sensory friendly lighting. The staff all look very professional and put together and are incredibly friendly. The food was so good I almost cried, no exaggeration. The menu changes often and the plates are made for sharing with the rest of your table. I highly recommend this place of you want upscale, fresh and innovative food.

Wife and I came in for the full Marathon tasting menu, as part of a short weekend getaway. The food was delicious, and most everthing you would expect from an expertly crafted tasting menu. The drinks were delicious, we ordered the Cola Old Fashion and The Crosby. Both fantastic. Each dish was portioned well, with a wide variety of flavors and cuisines, ranging from Asian, to French, seafood to artisan bread, and everything in between. Very pleased with the strategy order eash dish and course was served, that ultimately did a great job exploring and connecting all major taste palettes. In a very close decision, our favorite dish was the roasted duck with peppers and corn. Only minor feedback is that we noticed halved cherry tomatoes were used in two seperate dishes with no clear progression or transformation (that we could perceive). Service, albeit very friendly and professional, was wanting... There were instances where some of our requests were repeatedly forgotten. We had ordered a second Cola Old Fashion, and it took more than a few occurrences of "So sorry, we'll get that going right away" before finally receiving it. I had also requested ice for my glass of water, and that also took several attempts before finally receiving it. Perhaps the biggest feedback was the lack of knowledge and confidence. It was a recurring theme that many of the staff who were bringing out our plates were actually unaware of what was on the plate, or how it was cooked, etc. As the plate(s) was being set, the servers would often stumble across their words as they struggled to recall exactly what the dish was, what was in it, how it was cooked, or be able to answer some fairly easy questions about it. Regarding confidence, something we noticed was that some of the servers would kind of just set the plate down, recite the name of the dish, we would say thank you, and they just sort of smiled and shyly/awkwardly walked off. Nothing major, just something funny and quirky we noticed. Say "My Pleasure, enjoy." or something to give the interaction a sense of closure, and walk off with confidence. Our main server, though I can't recall her name, was extremely friendly and a gem. Lastly, the atmosphere... The atmosphere was definitely... interesting! G&R does well balancing an semi-upscale casual a la carte eatery, a bar area, while also executing sophisticated tasting menu. The decor was entertaining, as we were figuring out the fun paintings (nike van go-gh, pickle ball). My only small minor feedback was that our table, and consequently my seat, was just a touch too close to the shelf against the window with the lit candles on it. Overall, a wonderful and memorable experience, and one we would ultimately recommend for the price point. Our only regret is not adding the wine pairing!

This restaurant was amazing! We came from Seattle to try the food and it did not disappoint. Everything was so fresh and so well balanced. The pork tenderloin was cooked perfectly was a really tasty mustard pistachio crust. It was the best pork tenderloin I’ve ever had. Also the pea salad was outstanding and had a really nice char and I loved the mint. Also they have amaro flights which is brilliant and the somm was very knowledgeable and helpful and gave us some great recommendations to try. I highly recommend coming here and trying everything. We can’t wait to come back!

Vibrant restaurant downtown Spokane with a fun menu. 5/5 Food was tasty. We enjoyed the spring salad, Chitarra pasta with pulled lamb, Hanger steak. The country pate was not that tasty. IMHO. Ambiance 5/5 Service 3/5. Started out OK and we had her from the server, it lacked severely after that. Pate came out and I asked someone to bring some. They didn't come out for another 15 minutes. Then we were sitting waiting for a man to come, and we noticed that our server was also the bartender. I never came back to let us know what the food will take a while to come out. I had to put him at the bar and asking what was going on with her order. A few minutes later, our order came out with an apology because of there being a larger party there. For a nice place such is this, I was surprised by the lack of attention to our orders. Hopefully this is just a one off regarding the service.

We went and did the chefs marathon for my husbands birthday dinner. It was out of this world! I thought it was better than candle in the woods. They were able to make us mocktails with faux spirits that were creative and tasty. The staff was friendly and I love the atmosphere. The only thing I would say that should be noted just for future reference is I thought the dinner was going to take 2.25 hours and it took 3.25 hours. Honestly with how much food we ate we probably needed the extra hour to fit it all in because we were stuffed lol but we had to alter our after dinner plans due to the length of the meal but it was 100% worth it and you should run not walk to go devour the deliciousness. Their “gluten queen” as they called her made the best bread we’ve ever had and their pasta was 🔥 I already want to go back and I left 3 hours ago and I’m still full lol

Dining in from Texas. First thing’s first, Kalyla was an amazing server! Make sure to give her props on her presentation and amazing menu suggestions! Second, the bread and the hanger steak are a MUST try. Third, their cocktails are amazing. Espresso martinis are on point! Grab a reservation and ask for Kalyla!

Came here for a quick stop after an appointment in Spokane. Our server was incredibly nice, and she recommended us some of her favorites and some seasonal options. I went for the Truffle Mac, and my partner had the Beet salad. Both were amazing! As a vegan, it was lovely to have so many options! I’ll definitely try to come back when I’m back in Spokane

Had a wonderful experience at Rut! The atmosphere is perfect for a relaxed meal - soft background music and plenty of seating with comfortable AC that kept the space cool. The service was excellent throughout our visit. The food was outstanding! I highly recommend the Korean chicken sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. The buffalo cauliflower wings were superb - perfectly seasoned and cooked. If you're looking for a laid-back spot with scrumptious vegan food, Rut is definitely the place to go. Will definitely be back!

So glad so tried this place out! Fabulous! My first trip there, I got the Rüt Burger with fries and was pleasantly surprised. The second and third time I tried the spring spaghetti - great flavors and texture. I’ve been here three times and I leave happy and full each time!

This is a nice intimate restaurant and bar. My wife and I had lunch we shared the Brussel sprouts and a bok choy dish along with some fresh arugula salad with pickled onions on top. The server was very nice and accommodating, we asked for some olive oil for our salad and she found some for us even though they don’t normally offer it. She also gave us a complementary spritzer drink. The only thing that bummed us out was the Brussel sprouts were deep fried and they use canola oil and deep fry the food. It ruins the health value making it unhealthy. But, the presentation was nice and the flavors were really good. If you’re looking for a plant based healthy raw food type offering look somewhere else.

From the atmosphere to the food to the staff all top notch! First time going here it felt like I was somewhere other than Spokane in the best way possible! Classic and modern cocktails, housemaid ginger beer and other seasonal sodas, and the food was incredible! I look forward to and am pleasantly impressed with all RÜT has to offer every time go! highly recommend to any person vegan or not!

It was my first time visiting Ladder. I love the atmosphere. It's cute, cozy, and a chill place to grab coffee. We got a scone and their breakfast sandwich. The scone was flavorful and was "moist" for a scone. It was pretty good. The breakfast sandwich didn't have a ton of flavor, I mostly could taste the fried egg, but was decent. I ordered the white chocolate lavender latte. I truthfully couldn't taste much of either flavor, but it was a good latte. My husband had the hazelnut latte and said his was really good. Overall it was a good experience and we'll be back.

Cozy place for brunch. Coffee was good but any seasonal or flavored coffee options fell short for me. Food was fantastic!

I had a Chia Tea that was listed for $6 and by the time everything was said and done, it was a $10 drink. My partner got himself a mocha extra sweet and it wasn't extra sweet, it wasn't even sweet and it ended up being a $10 drink as well. The atmosphere was phenomenal, a little outdoor seating area was cute, but literally on Monroe Street so rather noisy from the traffic. Service was good, the brotista was friendly enough, he was the only worker there from what I could tell.

First time in this location we had our coffee. We love coffee shop hoping and so glad we ran into this one while browsing the vintage stores on Monroe. The interior is spacey and airy. Lots if tables and seatings are available. Baristas are friendly and skilled. We enjoyed our drinks and this location and their downtown location are both very nice

Hit or miss experience. Personally, I don't feel like the coffee quite lives up to the price point. On top of that, one of the baristas tends to make you feel like you’re an inconvenience just for placing an order, which can really take away from the experience. It’s just not as cozy or welcoming as some of the other coffee spots around Spokane. There’s definitely potential here, but it could benefit from a warmer atmosphere and more consistent customer service.

Ladder Coffee Roasters on Monroe lets in the sun with large windows and has a zen ambiance, perfect for hanging out, conversing, or enjoying a good book. Check out their breakfast menu & try the avocado toast. This place welcomes its customers with friendly baristas and is backed by excellent coffee!

I visit coffee and tea shops galore in many states...on this side of the tracks of the USA b/c I take my clients to them so I have to be up to par w/what's pleasant and not! Wifi is available for customers, upfront...the gal was so polite, friendly, and just sweet as...ev! Inside the shop is very cute, like my style of decor. The air is like healing in here...joyful, other customers are minding their own business, not loud at all...some coffee houses - people's chatter will echo, lol! The music is a fine balance. My tea was extremely good, no jk! The tea I ordered was Oolong by Rival Tea Co. I learned they have a shop downtown but they close too early for me...Ladder Coffee Roaster has many locations so I was stoked about that. I found this shop b/c I was so unhappy w/many of them downtown. The main street is Monroe, the road can get busy but it's OK, for serious. The parking lot is a decent one...thank God, can't stand parking on gravel, period. ...ooOOoo, and don't let me forget to say; inside is very lit up by natural light.

Lovely place, really nice and healthy warm food bar. As well as proper cold salad bar and a lot of preprepared foods. Highly recommend for a good and decent lunch.

The store is super cool. Awesome wine selection and lot of good variety food. It's almost like a mini whole foods, but even some of the foods they have here you can't even find a whole foods. A nice local store. The only thing I could say is they could be a little bit more friendly about giving the code for the bathroom there. I think you could tell which people are there to abuse it and who genuinely need to use it. Especially if you're a customer.

This place is the best. I love to swing by the breakfast bar before work or the lunch side on my break. And the bakery is a must for a sweet treat. The staff is incredibly helpful, everyone in deli!! The lady up front and cashiers go above and beyond to recommend great local products or a new drink from espresso. They are always able to point me in the right direction with a smile. This is my go to spot for a quick bite and friendly faces.

I had a frustrating experience at checkout recently. The cashier, Sophia, scanned several items 2-3 times, inflating my bill by nearly triple the correct amount. After noticing the error, I called for the manager, who was helpful and quickly corrected the mistake. However, Sophia’s repeated errors with scanning and calculating the total were concerning. I hope the store considers replacing her with more experienced, knowledgeable staff to avoid such issues in the future.

This has easily become my favorite grocery store since moving to Spokane. Not overly expensive, but definitely not the cheapest place to shop. The quality of the meat and produce is outstanding and makes the trip well worth it!

I would give this place a five stars because I frequent spokane often and come here for lunch and the great variety of food and drinks. And the staff is amazing. The only disappointment is when I bought a whole bunch of drinks and asked for a glass of ice and they still wanted to charge me a $.76 that's kind of too bad

I have started doing reviews as of today from the perspective of a bicyclist. They are literally across the street from two major bike trails. They have plenty of bike racks and their dining patio is adjacent to it and short walls allow one to watch their bike. Spokane has a lot of bike paths and I find most businesses genuinely suck at accommodating this crowd in anyway. My only criticism is that there shouldn’t be a curb leading up to the bike racks. There should be a ramp so one can ride right up to their parking spot instead of taking a weird loopty loop around the sidewalk. I won’t dock points for this. The whole parking lot is a bit weird and I think they did the best they could with the space.

We swung through right before closing and customer service was great! Loved their cheese, wine and bread selection. The building location has easy parking and is easy to find.

I have never seen pastries look this good. And they taste even better than they look! Got this little almond cake with apricot and it was the highlight of my day. The owner is also super nice and told me that the building they’re in used to be a women’s dormitory in the early 20th century.

Great little spot located in the same building that house Ladder Coffee. 5 stars is not enough! Get the breakfast pizza for sure and if they have any loaves of the focaccia grab one of those to-go

The design on my cake was exactly what I asked for but our overall experience was phenomenal. Sweet Dreams Bakery is inside Pounders Jewelry. We go out of our way frequently to grab sweets from here. Their German chocolate, coconut and pink champagne cupcakes are the best I’ve had. The frosting is divine and the cake portion is perfectly sweet and soft. Each cupcake is full of flavor! The owner is always so kind and a pleasure to talk to at each visit. Check them out today, your sweet tooth won’t be disappointed.

Walked in today to inquire about a two-tier cake as well as two dozen cupcakes for my wedding end of this year. A sign on top of the cupcake shelf reads $45 a dozen so after doing the math I came to a number that matched advertised pricing… The, who I believe female owner, let me know that unfortunately “since it’s for a wedding” she would be charging more; I kindly let her know I was not interested in her “wedding style” cupcakes, rather just the original cupcakes in front of me for everyday purchase, so she went on to explain “well again, since you told me it’s for a wedding I charge more because that’s how I make my money.” YIKES Shame on these businesses for upselling products due to event type versus actual product sold and time spent on preparation/materials. The world is a hungry hungry place. I’ll be shopping elsewhere.

Susie's cakes and cupcakes are amazing!! She did our wedding cake almost 13 years ago and we have been loyal customers ever since. She has done cakes for our kids birthdays, mine and my husband's 40th birthdays and my kids love coming to visit and getting cupcakes. She always has a smile on her face and customer service is wonderful. We love Susie and will continue to patron her business until we can't. ❤️

I bought a dozen, assorted cupcakes for my daughter's birthday and they were, each and every one, delicious! Perfect size. Perfect amount of frosting. Incredible flavors. The real 'icing on the cake' is the owner. She's an absolute gem and one of the sweetest and most friendly merchants I've ever come across!

I called twice and attempted to place an order and I couldn’t get beyond saying, “I would like to place an order.” She hung up on me both times. Poor service, there are plenty other bakeries to choose from. Avoid.

We selected Lilac City Bakery for our wedding cake and amenity cookies for our guest. My husband is Colombian, and they offered us a traditional cookie as an option for our wedding. Amber and the team at Lilac City were AMAZING! The cake looked exactly like the inspirational pictures I gave her. Also, Danny is not a fan of sweets, and she customized the cake flavor and ingredients to please Danny on our wedding day. People are still talking about both the cake and the cookies.

They did my wedding cake! It was sunset colors with caramel vanilla and red velvet. It was really good :) The caramel cake had a lot of flavor (I liked it warm lol) and the red velvet was really moist. I asked for crumb frosting with sunset colors and white flowers

Wonderful little bakery that makes delicious pastries. The cherry danish, white chocolate lemon cookie, and carrot cake cupcake were amazing. It was an awesome experience for Easter with my family.

We ordered a smash cake and cupcakes for a first birthday! I emailed a picture of what I wanted for the cake and they made it exactly as pictured! Everything was done beautifully and tasted amazing. The chocolate cupcakes were gone in a flash! Lilac even offered to make the cupcakes match the cake with the same frosting or sprinkles. (We obviously opted not to, but it was nice knowing it’s an option).

We came in for a specialty cake with only a few days notice and not only did they accept the order. The cake turned out perfect! It was exactly what I wanted and the cake flavoring was delicious. Will definitely return for my next order!!! Staff was super helpful, friendly, and talented!!

I submitted a photo from Pinterest and the baker made the cake the exact same. It was amazing. Everyone was asking where I got it. The cake was so delicious as well. They were even able to make vegan cookies for the mom to be. They are now my go to for special bakery items.

Stopped by this donut shop in Spokane this morning. The donuts were okay—not bad, but not outstanding either. The place is decent for a quick sweet bite, but I’ve had better elsewhere.”

Donut Parade is the absolute best!! I wanted to surprise my husband with donuts for his birthday and they went above and beyond, they even wrote on the donuts as an added surprise!! Thank you donut parade! Plus, the donuts are incredibly delicious.

Older building needing some TLC, service was slow and the person waiting on us didn't seem to know the products and he was difficult to hear not sure if it was him not speaking loud enough or the noise from the fans they had running either it was difficult. The donuts we purchased were ok but nothing special

I love donuts and donut parade sells them (almost) 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. They’re quality donuts and I find myself going back over and over again because they’re so great. The only drawback is I feel like the maple bar has more of a butterscotch frosting than maple but now that I know to expect it I’m not bothered. Happy to recommend to anyone looking for a good donut spot in Spokane.

Nathan and his staff do a great job. The doughnuts are not your basic grocery store doughnuts. Bigger and far better. Great selection too. Well worth the price.

It's an old run down place, but has a bit of nostalgia to it. The doughnuts are ok, they dry out way too fast, but they are good. Kids can color a picture at home that they provide for them and get a free doughnut on their next visit. This got me to come back... My kids colored that things so fast lol Local business, support them if for nothing else than that.

The outlet is worth a special stop for everyday bread and cookies but especiallly for parties or summer bbq. Great selection, deep discount, and very friendly and helpful staff. Breads, jellies and jams, chips and buns. In and out in just a few minutes w plenty of parking. (It is on the back side of the bakery building- there are signs to guide you). Spend $10 you get a free item.

Fresh bread for less! If Franz makes it, you will find it here for less $ along with Cyrus O'leary pies and other goodies. Why go anywhere else?

It feels crowded in the store, but that is because all of the people in there who love Franz products.

Good selection of bread, hot dog, hamburger buns, muffins, bagels, little Debbie snacks, chips and cakes. They have it all.

Delicious and fun atmosphere! There is something good for everyone on the menu. Several vegan and gluten-free options. Many specialty cocktails and several great brews on tap. There is an upstairs and downstairs bar, both with dance floors, and we have enjoyed both. Fries are cooked in shared fryer so NOT truly gluten-free! Easy location and outside patio area.

Never judge a book by its cover! This location might seem a little sketch on the outside but it’s quaint and cozy on the inside. I stayed upstairs since I was there during the week for Happy Hour. Food was absolutely on point. Those jalapeño cheddar hush puppies are popping! Let’s talk drinks - I enjoy most drinks when I’m out but I’ve never gone out the next day and bought all the ingredients to try and recreate a mixed drink. Enter - The Water Lily from Lucky You. Simple drink but damn good. So so good! Lavender Tom Collins is also super pleasant and refreshing! Definitely go - you will love it!

We went from fried cauliflower bites, to mushroom dumplings - from Ramen to a crispy chicken sandwich - it didn't matter what we ordered because it was all delicious. The staff was wonderful, friendly, and attentive. A unique spot that's definitely worth a visit.

Lots to choose from on the menu, from good pub food to more exotic dishes. Love the mid-century lounge atmosphere. The fish and chips had big chunks of fish and the brat had delicious carmelized onions. Would ask to go lighter on the mustard next time.

Went here with my son and his girlfriend. Food was excellent and service was good too. We sat in the patio which my son said had been expanded with more tables and plenty of space around the tables to help with social distancing. The food was spiced well and delicious. I had the bratwurst on a bun with onions and a terrific relish. My wife had the green curry with tofu. My son the meatball sandwich and his girlfriend the punjabi masala. My bratwurst was amazing, I think they make their own sausages and the relish which was complex took it over the top. I had a side of morrocan chili that was equally excellent on its own. I had a sample of my wifes green curry that was also very good with plenty of spices and a hint of citrus. We shared tiramisu for dessert and my son had a jalepeno peach cobbler that was surprisingly good. I've never had that before. The patio was very nice, but there was the occasional train passing behind the restaurant to shake things up a bit. But. It didnt bother us at all. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They have a wide selection of cocktails, but we decided not to drink this time.

I came here for The Crystal Method show with a bunch of friends. Three expert bartenders took care of the entire upstairs and very thirsty crowd. The show was absolutely incredible with the visuals and sound setup that night. I will definitely be back to check out more shows and even some weekly events they have and of course to try their incredible looking menu.

This venue, , Now Open! Our first time at Lucky You Quickly seated, ordered good came out in good time. We had Baba Gnoush, fish and chips, I had Green Curry with Tofu. The Chef Josh came out so could compliment him on the amazing tastes. It's a very cool Lounge look, lots of seating. Went downstairs for live music and another bar too! The staff all very nice 👌. A welcome addition to Brown's Addition!🌼

While waiting my turn to order, the patrons at RoastHouse all interact with each other like we've known each other for years. I don't know of any other establishment that has this atmosphere. It is so refreshing to go to the tasting room to buy coffee...

Stopped in for a latte and all I can say is WOW!! Incredible service, so speedy and my latte was one of the best I've had in a hot minute. Staff is beyond kind and engaging. 12/10 please go here

Roast House Coffee is the only coffee we drink! (and we are fussy) Whether it be at home, or while traveling (we take it with us), we love Roast House coffee. The staff is friendly and it is always a pleasure to go to the source and we always buy directly from their roastery. Our summer fave is "Ride the Edge" and our year round choices are "Café des Americas" and "Viva".

Service was great, they were happy to answer all our questions and even let us sample coffees we were considering. Offer any weight in coffee beans, grind the beans, and even give a discount for reused bags for beans. Espresso shot was great and well dialed in.

It was such a pleasure to meet Deborah, her husband and the Roast House crew for an impromptu tour of the roaster. So refreshing to meet people passionate about their craft and genuiely care about the impact they can have throughout the coffee supply chain. We also got a chance to sample some beans from Costa Rica and Columbia, which is part of their free offering. Great way to learn from the barista before making a purchase.

This place was lovely. The service was friendly and helpful. We tried one of the specials of the day, lavender creme brulee crepe. It was delicious! I'm excited to come back and try other items on the menu.

Having a selection of crepes to eat in Spokane is pretty much nonexistent. So having discovered this restaurant has been great. The crepes are the pizza-slice shaped, including their dessert ones. The food is really tasty and wallet friendly too. Order one savory and one dessert crepe to two people makes a pretty satisfying lunch.

This place is great! Everything me and my friend got was super delicious. I do have to say that they don't have many options in my opinion, but still great though. I will be totally coming back here.

This is one of the best creperies I've been too...their savory crepes are a large portion and have nice clean flavors...and their sweet crepes are equally delicious...can't recommend this place enough; one of the best places in Spokane to eat.

Hidden gem in Spokane ! The staff were really friendly! They had great coffee and crepe options . I am not huge on sweets and found their savory crepes my favorite ! We did get the strawberry crepe and lemon curd ; both were delicious but the strawberry jam was very very sweet. Their breakfast Egg and Bacon Jam crepe was everyone’s favorite!!! Overall , very cute, clean, and awesome! We will def be back.

Absolutely love this place. I had the salmon and capers crepe as well as the strawberry cream cheese crepe. The savory one was tasty yet it wasn’t the best one I’ve ever tried. However, for Spokane, this is the best one in town. The strawberry and cream cheese was a bite of heaven. Overall, definitely recommend this place. You’ll also enjoy the modern design of the interior.

The Wonder Building is a serious Spokane Gem! The building is simply gorgeous with a mix of modern and a historical feel. All of the businesses are top notch offering a wide selection of artisan foods and delicious coffee. There is so much to love about this it has left me in wonder! Lots of games sprinkled throughout along with plenty of space and multiple screens to watch sports. There is also an attached parking garage as well that is really well designed and attached so you don't have to leave the cover of a building. Well done all around!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the atmosphere. There’s plenty of room for kids to run around and adults to chill. The games add a great touch too. But… ⭐⭐ for the food. For a place that sells burgers, you’d expect at least a decent patty. Unfortunately, the food is super underwhelming.

This place is awesome. Games and great food. Hit up Victory Burger for a great burger! Don't even get me started on those Pickle Fries. Bomb! No, they're not pickles, but the awesome seasoning is how they get their name. Collin is a beast of an employee! That place is lucky to have him.

It's a cool place. Very roomy, great for a good sized gathering. There were 35+ in our group. The garage doors open so it's not stuffy. The down size..the food and drinks are spendy.

It is a really great building with open space, games, and a parking garage right there. They advertise a Mexican resturante that is no longer there. The burger place was good but very busy. There is a Kiosk you can order from if you’re not getting alcohol and only food. There is no signs or directions for it so the only way you’ll know is if someone tells you.

Fun space full of different food/drink choices and now has a pickle ball play ground. They also have couple ping-pong tables that is free to use at all times!

We used Batch Bakeshop for our wedding a couple weeks ago. They came out and set up everything. It turned out SO beautiful! For the cutting cake we had a small naked cake (which looked and tasted amazing) and for our guests we had lemon & salted caramel cupcakes that were to die for. Best bakery around.

Fantastic neighborhood bake shop! My wife and I were visiting from Seattle and my brother and sister in law, who live nearby, said we had to try it. Their raves did not disappoint. Delicious muffins and tarts freshly made, along with some great pour over coffee. Definitely try the lemon lavender and strawberry coconut muffins. We also had a wonderful strawberry tart that was nice and flakey on the outside while warm and soft inside. Wasn't able to try the cookies and other treats but we'll save those for our next visit. The owner (I forget her name) was extremely nice. We will definitely be back soon!!

I am so impressed with this place! I just had the pear and white cheddar biscuit and it was divine. We had some delicious pour over coffee and the owner was kind enough to stop by and pour us a fresh topper. Took a salted chocolate chip cookie to go and it's already gone! Excellent customer service and pastries!

Batch is an adorable bakery in spokanes West central neighborhood. Truly yummy treats made in small batches. The desserts change by the day and by the seasons offerings. Couldn't say enough good things about this bakery. Does special events and weddings too! Very hip and stylish!

Mika did my wedding cakes last October. I had two gluten free cakes and 2 regular cakes, all of which were beautiful and delicious! I got nothing but positive feedback on all of them. I even had people telling me that they couldn't believe the gluten free cakes were actually gluten free! Always a great compliment. The prices are responsible and Mika is very dedicated to making sure you get what you want. I can't recommend her and her bakery enough. <3

The pastries i managed to nab were OUT OF THIS WORLD AMAZING! Super creative and beautiful. But this location does not focus on selling their pastries which was a bit of a sad realization. Look for special pop up markets and local coffee shops that sell their baked goods (indaba, atticus). Totally amazing pastries just disappinted this is not a regular walk-in bakery.

Amazing Macaroons!!! Their flavors change often, birthday cake flavor is awesome! Croissants are amazing as well, probably the best and most authentic croissant I have had out of making my own. :-) nothing was overly sweet either. The staff was nice as knowledgeable about any questionns I had and everything is made in house from scratch ave it shows. If you live French pastries, it is a must! God Bless ~Amy

Scrumptious breads !!! Crafted with attention to detail, as each loaf is picture perfect. I dare you to try all of them. My favorite is braided heaven. And the rolls absolutely melt in your mouth. Thank you for providing world class bread to those in Spokane with a discerning palate.

Their croissants are to die for! With one -- or maybe two -- of them, heated a bit, and a good cup of coffee, you can experience a French breakfast here in Spokane. Yes, they are that good. Seriously.

Conveniently located in the Saranac Commons off a trendy street (W Main Ave) where there are plenty of retail shops and restaurants. The Saranac commons is an artistic, open-concept building that hosts Common Crumb Artisan Bakery, Mediterrano, Caffé Affogato and of course - Black Label Brewery, Head to the back of the building upon entering and on the left hand side you will find the bakery. The open air common-area space has no defining breaks between the business and that allows for a much more welcoming inviting area. The Brewery area primarily has the majority of seating but it's a general seating concept so all patrons may use any seating area space. The pastries and baked good had a great eye appealing look but I found the three varieties of pastries we selected to be right at the average mark. Again, do not let the rating misguide you as they have plenty of items and my wife and I only selected three. As stated they were good but did not rank as superb.

I drifted over here for desert after lunch across the aisle at Mediterraneo. I was totally fun to stroll throuigh the comics store next door. Of couirse there is seating in the Commons if you want to sit. The variety and quality were very good.

I liked my blueberry/peach cheesecake but it just tasted like cheesecake but a really good cheesecake and I got pistachio macarons and they weren't my favorite really didn't taste like pistachio and had a filling inside the filling kind of odd

What great service! It was our 1st time in and the staff was so friendly and helpful, even offered us a donut while we were choosing our flavors. We got home and had to try a few of the flavors at once. They had amazing flavors, and the consistency and textures were more than I expected.

We went in for the Harry Potter promotion. My daughter went in her Hufflepuff robe. They were sold out already. The gentleman noticed and had them make up a box for her. He made her day! Then we got the sorting hat and it was Hufflepuff; to her the trip was meant to be! Thank you everyone for making her day!

The donuts were overall not great. All the fillings in the Harry Potter donuts tasted like overly sweet, plain store-bought frosting despite being labeled as "brown butter toffee" and "blueberry." Customer service was good though.

Extremely disappointed drove all the way out to the valley for the Harry Potter donuts only to be met with a sign that say there is only a limited number per day. I brought my brother who has never been to a krispy cream only to be met with disappointment. This is one of the very reasons I don’t come here. Why even run a promotion if you can not cater to customers all day long. Absolutely ridiculous. Do better

Walked in nobody greeted us walked over to where they were making the donuts and there was oil everywhere on the floor. Someone could definitely fall there. There was no sign no nothing. It was like it was oil seeping out the wall use the restrooms. Restrooms were filthy, even though they had a lock on him they were still filthy. Walked over to get some donuts as we were leaving. Donuts were super small mini size we even called a mini and the guy said that they were regular size but because their machine wasn’t pumping them out correctly or something they were smaller in size and that he would charge us mini size for it. Definitely not what I expected from a Krispy Kreme‘s everyone did look to be in the back working pretty hard everyone constantly on the go would’ve been nice if we would’ve been greeted differently.

Donuts are mediocre. Thy are what they are. Not stand out, not crap. Just middle of the road. Service was not good. I get the same thing every month and have not paid the same price mor than twice. When I tried to mention it to the lady at the windows she was dismissive and rude. Shafted like I was lying.

Great bakery! Loved the cinnamon roll and coffee that I ordered. Service was stellar as always. Come for the chill atmosphere and great downtown hang out.

The costumer service is great! Very friendly and professional! A lot of space and a nice patio area. The food is always good. The coffee is one of the best in the city! Has pleasant flavor.

The food is good and fairly fast.. the coffee on the other hand, after I’ve paid the last 3times I’ve been here they’ve forgot to make mine…. I finish my food waiting forever. And then have to ask for it to be made?!

The coffee is great. The food however, is a different story. The place homemakes all of its food, and then destroys it by heating it up in the microwave. The quiche was microwaved for two minutes and it’s still cold. It was soggy and bland. It literally tastes like scrambled eggs without seasoning. The crust ruined by the microwave. The eggs are super chewy. The cinnamon roll is okay.

Reasonably sized menu with fun seasonal drinks. The staff are so kind. The sweet treats are incredible, especially the cinnamon roll. Wish they had more gluten free items (my wife is GF), but the GF pumpkin bread is pretty good! The GF pastries are better than the frittata in my opinion, but glad to see there's more than one option. I recommend the cinnamon roll and their regular brewed coffee.

I was there this morning for a business meeting when all the sudden I became very confused and lightheaded. Luckily the person I was with acted fast and asked the staff for a cold compress and water. Once I could no longer keep myself up right, I laid on the floor and started shaking. The staff talked calmly to me and got a blanket to cushion my head and ice to cool my core temperature while my friend called 911 and we waited for the ambulance. Turns out my blood sugar went down to 42 all the sudden. I truly believe I would have tried to drive home if it weren't for my friend and the staff at Rocket and this could have gone a completely different way. My iced pumpkin spice latte with oat milk and pizza bagel with shmear were a 10/10!

The quintessential looking donut place, no $10 gluten free kind of donuts here. Not that those can't be good too, BUT if you want a super good classic donut go here. 10 outa 10. I will go here any time I stop through town. Really nice staff that seemed super happy to be there, all the power to him. I couldn't be that peppy when my work opens at 5am haha. Amazing donut shop in the spokane area. It is about a 30 min drive out from where I live so I had held off on giving it a try. But after all they hype I had continued to hear on a local food page I had to give them a go and let me tell you fluffys did not disappoint. When you come into the donut shop you are greeted by the owner and his bubbly happy personality and the amazing smell and assortment of donuts. Depending on the day and time they very well may be picked over so if you want optimal selection go very early if you can. I've been going to the same donuts shop for over a decade and highly dissapointed when I venture out to try different shops, not with fluffy's I have to say they are definitely the top of my favorites and well worth the hour round trip it takes to go get donuts. Will recommend to everyone to try. The customer service is phenomenal you can really tell the owner puts his whole heart into that shop and the donuts.

OMG!!!!!!!! You have to try. Great variety for anyone’s taste. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful. Interacted with us as if we were long time friends. The apple filled donut tasted like Grandma’s home made pie. Also had donut holes for anyone just needing a snack. Worth the stop if you are in the area.

Great Donuts!! I ordered a dozen donuts and they were the best donuts I’ve ever had. My favorite donut was the apple fritter and my wife’s favorite is the whipped maple bar. Perfectly fluffy and just the right amount of sweetness.

Stopped in for the first time just after noon, knowing the selection would be small, but have been dying to try Fluffy’s. There were about a dozen donuts left and when I got out my card to pay, he said “You’re all good” and handed me my box of deliciousness. Not expecting free but completely appreciated! I will be back as a paying customer!

The whipped maple bars are phenomenal. The donuts themselves are really well-made, very fluffy! Not too much frosting either, if you like a well balanced donut this is the place for you. Best donut place in Spokane hands down! Get there fast though, they run out of donuts fast!

Usually the service is good, but not today. I ordered an Americano and pumpkin bread. When my drink was ready, I had to remind the barista that I’d ordered pumpkin bread. No apology. After I left and my coffee cooled enough to drink it, I realized it had pumpkin flavoring in it. When I took it back, instead of apologizing, the same barista said, “Oh, I heard pumpkin.“ I reminded her that I’d ordered an Americano and pumpkin bread. When my remade drink was ready, she said, “There that will probably be more like you wanted.” Still no apology and no offer to reimburse the cost of the flavoring I didn’t order. Very disappointing visit.

This is a famous bakery in Spokane with a few locations. I particularly liked this one because it is in the middle of a neighborhood with a nice vibe. On the other hand, I didn't like that they wrap each baked good in plastic, not only it looks terrible but it is plastic and a bunch of it, for that reason I will not give 5 stars.

Great little bakery! Would be hard living around here.. not because of the traffic but because of their coffee! Has a beautiful interior! The coffee has a great taste and you can actually taste the the coffee! Amazing!

I don’t know if this is the best Coffee shop in Spokane but it’s certainly my favorite. I love the old building and neighborhood charm, plus, the people who work here are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to get to know the regulars. Their bakery is amazing and I’ll admit to having to show a lot of restraint to not buy everything in the case. My go-to is the Almond Poppy muffin but that’s just one of the great options. Seating is ample for a small shop and street parking is easy and free, which is a big asset in my book. My parents live close by so it’s an easy walk here when I’m in town but I would drive across the City to come here if they lived in a different location. Give this place a try, and if you don’t like it for some unexplained reason, then it’s just more coffee and pastries for me!

This is the best coffee shop and bakery this side of South Hill Spokane and its not even close. Danae is the best hostess ever. Her hospitality and warm smile makr you feel right at home. Nick and Faye are the best drink makers. They always make your drink to perfection. That is saying a lot from a person who doesn't drink or like coffee ever. Now I'm a regular. The food and drink combinations go well together and you really can't go wrong with anything you choose. If you want to break away from the chain coffee spots and have a nice hometown experience, The ROCKET BAKERY IS THE PLACE TO GO. Tell them LB sent you.

Wanted to start off by saying the service is great, everybody is very kind! I got the mango sticky rice drink, which was absolutely incredible by the way. Super yummy! I also got a peanut butter cookie and a blueberry muffin. They were both pretty awful. Very dry and dense and an extreme lack of flavor. Hoping you guys change those items soon lol

We stopped in to get a "big pink cookie ", delicious as always. The atmosphere was delightful, with tables full of customers in lively conversation. Such a fun place to hang out .

Marsells made our winter / Christmas themed wedding cake and cupcakes. Everything was beautiful and all we heard all night was how good the cupcakes were especially the chocolate irish cream and white chocolate peppermint flavors. Excellent customer service and consultation!

Marsells Cakes baked us a delicious and moist carrot cake for my husband's retirement party. The cake was lightly spiced and light in texture not one of those heavy and dry cakes. Everyone thought it was delicious. The detail in the badge design and the matching colors of the department in the piping edge and words were all perfect. I highly recommend them for any cake occasion you have, wonderful people to work with.

We hired Marcell's Cakes for my wedding cake and oh my goodness, this cake was immaculate in both looks and flavor. We opted for the lemon cake with raspberry filling and a buttercream frosting. Then fresh roses were placed on the cake. It was beautiful, moist, and melt-in-your-mouth-perfect, and I have leftovers to enjoy for a couple more days! Thank you so much for providing such a special part of our special day!

WOW WOW WOW!! We are never disappointed with what Marselle's does! They did the most amazing job at our wedding back in 2017 and NOW THIS! Look at this smash cake and cupcakes they did for our son's camp themed birthday party!! Not only was it all SO cute, it was all delisous. BEST BAKERY IN TOWN!!! Hands down. Loved both my wedding cake and 1 year anniversary cake! She was awesome to work with and really understanding of the COVID situation and made last minute changes to our orders. And both cakes were delicious!
