My daughter chose a cookies and cream cupcake and as she was eating it (maybe 10 minures after purchase) we found mold in the center. My child is allergic to mold, so this could've been very bad if I hadn't caught it before she ate it. I had planned to go purchase more cupcakes to take home, but I'll pass. I'd also like a refund. FYI, tried calling the number and did not get an option to leave a message. Also, tried FB and got a message saying you won't respond there. So, before you blast me, as you did other people who complained of MOLD, don't try that with me, I even asked another local business if they knew how to contact you. You may want to try actually speaking to customers and not avoiding them.

Purchased a cupcake yesterday. As I was eating I found mold in the middle. At first, I thought it was randomly a piece of blue cheese. Since that was the flavor I was getting, but then, as I looked closer, I realized it was mold growing on something in the cupcake. —I really appreciate the additional comment/ follow up from the owner. I can say that the cupcake was delicious up until that point. 😆. I hope you find a solution!

Bought some cupcakes last night (6/4/25) for my wife’s bday. Our first time trying and we were so excited. We got home and decided to save our treats so we put them in the refrigerator. Well today I get home from work and decided to have a sweet tray for a snack. I start eating a cupcake and notice an odd taste from the filling. I look down a find mold. Needless to say we will not be going back.

This shop is top of the line. Friendly staff who shared the story of the store as well as explaining each flavor. Very soft and light cupcakes. Some were layered with fruits, purees etc. The icing is light and just enough sweetness. We tried almost all their currents flavors. The display is simple and well marked.

Saw the "Cupcakes" sign from the corner and had to go check it out and man are we glad we did!!! A cool variety of flavors already packaged and ready to go. We took ours back to our hotel and enjoyed with a cup of coffee. They were all delicious!

Omg!! This place was so cute. After dinner my daughter and I were walking to our car and ran across this place. We were surprised by the self-checkout/honor system. It was easy to shop and easy to pay. The cupcake was delicious too! We will definitely be back.

I’ll keep this simple and to the point. Getting donuts from Britt’s is literally about the “experience”; more so to say you’ve been there and tried it out. The donuts are “funnel cakes”; minus the powdered sugar. Walm*rt sells fabulous donuts that I prefer over these ANY day. Plan to spend an hour of your life; minimum during this excursion. Remember you have to pay for parking at the beach as well. So if you’re not already there, plan on spending a few extra bucks if you’re just coming to pick up donuts. Cash only at Britt’s. Staff is awesome. The donuts do not meet the hype this place receives. Keep your expectations low when it comes to the taste/ quality. They’re good; but FAR from AMAZING donuts. Eat right away or you can plan on throwing them in the trash.

If heaven had a snack stand, it would be Britt’s Donuts in Carolina Beach. I don’t know what kind of wizardry is going on behind that counter, but these folks have taken a basic donut and elevated it to something just shy of a religious experience. I bit into that warm, golden, glazed circle of joy and forgot my own name for a full 45 seconds. Let me be clear: these are not just donuts. These are the Beyoncé of baked goods. One bite and suddenly I was weeping softly and re-evaluating my life choices. Why have I wasted so many years on other, lesser pastries? Now, fair warning—there’s usually a line, but that’s just the universe’s way of building character. And trust me, the moment that sweet, sticky halo of fried perfection hits your lips, you’ll realize every second was worth it. I would gladly wait in line behind a marching band of tourists and a small herd of sunburned beach dads in flip flops for these things. Pro tip: don’t just buy one. You’ll take a bite, look down, and it’ll already be gone. Get a dozen. Then tell your friends you only bought six. Protect your stash. Thank you, Britt’s, for reminding us that in this crazy world, there is still good, there is still magic, and it is fried and glazed and served in a little white bag.

I actually live about 20 minutes from Britt’s donuts, but I never seem to get over there lol. It’s been years since I’ve had Britt’s, so we decided to go get some today. There’s always a line to get them but if you go early you don’t have such a long line to wait in. But, they were so good! Shows you that if it’s not broke, don’t fix it! They have been doing the same donuts the same way for decades now, but the minute you take your first bite, you realize why they haven’t changed it lol. It’s crispy but chewy and soft. If you’re not drooling from the pictures yet, you need to look closer lol. How about you just stop drooling and go get one! Seriously stop reading and go!!!!!

BUSY!!!!But the line moves fast. 🍩 Donuts are warm, crispy very simple. I recommend you try this place

i’m going to give it a 5-star for the experience. the donuts aren’t really the best but it was worth a try if you are visiting the Carolina Beach. better to eat them while they are still hot or else you may have to throw them in the garbage.

Every time I visit Carolina Beach, I make sure to stop by Britt’s Donuts. It’s been around since 1939 and is home to the best donuts I have ever tasted. They only serve on type of donuts, freshly made glazed but that’s all they need. As a NC native I have tasted fresh Krispy Kreme donuts of all varieties but nothing comes close to whatever goes on in the back of that Britt’s bakery. My personal record is seven donuts in one sitting but be careful because they come out burning hot! I’d wager these are the best glazed donuts in all of America.

Great tradition at Carolina beach. WARM donuts at $1.25 a pop. No specialized toppings or types, just straight glazed.

Follow the line of cars and pull into a packed parking lot and you will find the Orange Blossom. Amazing pastry that are larger than life. Place your order and have a seat outside and wait for the curtoius staff to call your name. You won't leave hungry. Highly recommend. Limited hours

Crazy place!!! Packed -inside and outside. That alone tells you how good this place is! It was the best chocolate muffin I have ever had-Ever! The Apple Ugly was so yummy..best if eaten fresh and warm. The chocolate Danish was also very delicious. One of the nicest ladies came down the Long Wait Line to help people take sandwich orders to help move the line along. Highly recommend this Cute, Little, Very Busy Bakery!!!!

Okay what everyone says about the apple uglies is true, you definitely want to try them!!! But there are also a lot of other yummy treats: cinnamon rolls, hand pies and lots of different breakfast sandwiches. The place itself is small and quaint. The only downside is this isn't really a place you can sit and enjoy. The only seating is outside and its been super hot so that's not an option right now. But totally worth it to pick up and take home!

I’ll say it again in case you missed the other review: the cinnamon buns with icing are to die for! We also got breakfast sandwiches here and a couple apple uglies. It was busy both times we stopped in (on a vacation) and we were not disappointed about the hype! Delicious, delectable, yummy, not-sharing-mine, obviously not freezer food, generous portions… I’ll miss you Orange Blossom Bakery. There’s no one quite like you back home… Other notes: you can’t eat-in but there’s a porch that seats around 16 or so. It’s not wheelchair friendly so please have your friend pop in for you.

the famous apple ugly is made for sharing! unless you’re very, very hungry. the cinnamon apple combo is reliably delicious, and the sugar glaze pairs reasonably well with the donut dough beneath. the cinnamon roll is a much more manageable size. if you’re looking for a bagel or food that’s not shown in the display, there’s a bit of a longer wait because of how busy they get. definitely a loved breakfast spot in avon.

Bought 3 apple uglies which look delicious! Got a bagel burner sandwich which was really tasty. Nice people working there. Very happy I finally get to try an apple ugly. Very very busy establishment so I knew it was going to be good.

So the food was pretty good. Conning roll and ugly were both good. The parking lot was kinda crazy. Too many cars for the space. The line was pretty long to order anything. It’s good, but be prepared for some chaos to get your order.

When I say you’d better get you some donuts here, I mean make it a priority!! These things are delicious!! They have some cool merch too!!

Love me some vacation donuts. 😆 these are perfect for that getaway splurge. They also have good coffee too. They have a good selection of your basics and more gourmet flavors. They also offer vegan gluten-free options. I can't vouch for them. I just saw them in the case. The shop is smaller and is a little cramped when standing in line to order. So, they have to be patient because people tend to take their time looking at the menu. Boston Cream: Spot on. Custard is not too sweet and pairs well with the chocolate icing. Fritters: Big, chewy, and full of flavor. Cake donut: Soft and sweet. Pros: Good donuts, good selection, good coffee, not far from downtown Cons: Crowded order line

We brought Donuts after having a discount at a mini golf place. They were delicious. As a French person I have to say, America knows how to make it tasty.

We love the Wilmington location and actually came back to the area for vacation mainly for these donuts, 10/10 the best donuts ever truly!

I’m not sure what they do differently with their coffee but WOW!! It was amazing!! I had planned on trying other coffee spots while we were here but the coffee blew me away so I went back several more times. The donuts were amazing too!! They were so fresh and the variety was great!! The staff obviously takes pride in their business. What a gem!!

I love donuts and always try to find a donut shop in every town/city I visit while vacationing. I had heard a lot about Wake N Bake, so I decided to give it a try. I got a half dozen. They definitely are more "cake" donuts (for those who don't like cake donuts, you may want to skip) but overall they weren't bad. The Butterfinger Bash was my favorite with the white icing and Butterfinger bits making for a good combination. I was a wee bit disappointed with the Couch Potato merely because I had hoped for a much stronger mix of salt and sweet with the broken potato chip pieces. However the chips were a bit soggy so they'd lost their crunch and salt flavor. My go-to standard at any donut shop (or what I compare) is just a standard rainbow sprinkles with chocolate (or vanilla icing). It wasn't bad at all. Definitely not the tops (compared to other places I've been) but also not the worst either. My chocolate iced cream filled...well, maybe it was an off day, but there was no cream to be found whatsoever inside. Honestly, if/when I go back, I'll probably just stick with the plain glazed as they were very tasty. And my Mom loved the apple fritter. Definitely a unique shop and I would go back again.

It's nice this coffee and donuts shop is open later than most. We stopped by to pick up some filled and glazed sweet treats in the late afternoon. The donut dough was a little dry already but overall still good. Probably have to go before noon for the best selection and quality.

Go get some milk before you stop so that you can immediately start slamming glazed filled croissants down your face! You will need the milk to wash it down and cleanse your palate because you will in fact eat multiple of these bad boys! The long johns are also chefs kiss! We have tried cakes and other items and they have been ok, but don’t waste your time there. Hammer the croissants 🥐!!! Make it happen! Your mouth will be so happy! To those about to nosh, I not only salute you, I am jealous!!

We saw this bakery yesterday on our way to eat. So we went out for cronuts this morning. Ms. Jen was awesome. It was our first time so she gave us all a glazed cronut and it was delicious. I love that she asked me if I wanted inside or outside for my brownie. I'm an inside brownie person. If you are ever in Southport, NC make sure you stop by, you won't be disappointed!!

It was our first time visiting this bakery and wow!! It definitely won't be our last. This place is phenomenal! We got a lil variety box. The croissants are the best out of everything we tried. I would highly recommend getting those. The top 3 favorite croissants in our group were: apple cinnamon, maple bacon and their chocolate croissant. Can't wait to come back to try more, maybe they can make a Nutella, cookie butter or Dubai chocolate croissants 😉😊? I love my sweets and this place fulfilled my cravings, hands down. Sweet tooth in regards to pastries and baked goods not satisfied? Look no further than Burney's Sweets & More! Please bring your patience, this is a busy little shop and it will be worth the wait. A lot of folks talk about their glaze, stuffed croissants, but they have more sweets to help keep your dentist and doctor in business. Treat yourself or treat someone else, just stop by and get a sweet treat. Make sure you've got some milk or coffee when you sit down to enjoy these treats...I'm just saying...

Stop here if you can because you won’t regret it! First time coming here today and we were very impressed with Burney’s Bakery. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Whether you like croissants or not you definitely need to get a box of them. They are some of the best croissants my wife and I have ever had. Thank you Burney’s for the awesome baked goods! We will be back for sure next time!

Amazing! Did not know this place existed. Always droved right past it until a friend recommended it. Everything we tried was very good and the staff was super friendly. They also have many gluten free options. We have added this to our "must visit" every time we are in Southport.

The good , the bad and the ugly. Love the beach setup and the little store was nice. You get to watch the donuts being made to order. I love the fact you get hot donuts. The staff were friendly and took our order fast. Yes the donuts are a little pricey but I would be more than fine with paying a higher price for a more quality product. With that being said I was not a big fan of the batter they use to make them. Also they are very flat and not raised. I’m sure there are people that love them but just not for me. They were almost like cake. But I am glad I stopped to try them out anyways.

We also had some donuts, lol. From the top left, we had death by chocolate, key lime pie, fruity pebbles, lemonade, banana pudding, chicken and waffles, orange roll, maple coffee cake, sea turtle, strawberry shortcake, black forest, and margarita. They fry them fresh to order and then flavor them right in front of you! This is another place you need to visit while you are here!

Delicious! I didn't realize they are made fresh to order which is great because you get fresh donuts anytime of day. We stopped by around 3:30 on a Thurs afternoon. It was not busy at that time. The girls working were friendly and patient as my two young kids tried to decide what they would like. There are so many options of glazes and toppings to choose from. The donuts have a slight crisp to them which I absolutely love. I forgot to take a picture before we all started eating them 😁

Our first time at Daybreak and even though we are back home, 4.5 hours away- I can’t stop thinking about those donuts!!!!! The girl taking our order was helpful and friendly. The girl who dipped and packed our order was efficient and everything was absolutely mouthwatering!!! We got two dozen donuts for 11 of us and we cut each donut into pieces so that we could sample them all! There was not one donut we did not like !

These donuts are incredible! Fresh and while still warm they just melt in your mouth. Lots of good flavors without being overly sweet.

Traditional Italian bakery it was very nice on inside. I got the lobster tail, rainbow cake, black and white cookie and sfogliatelle. I loved the lobster tail and the black and white cookie was the best I'd had since NYC. The rainbow cake was good but light on jam but still very good. The sfogliatelle I didn't like but I just don't like ithe pastry in general it was my first time having one. The layers were great and it was baked perfectly. My sister got key lime pie it was really good the crust was perfect.

I'm a retired cop! I spent years in donut shops just ask the Bangles! These donuts are fabulous! The bagels are equally fabulous! The staff are as sweet as their delicious treats. So get the duck off the beach or out of bed and go grab a sweet treat at Tullio's

We ordered a cake for my husband’s 50th birthday party in advance, It was supposed to have gold flakes with gold balls with matching cupcakes with gold writing for 50th in his name. When we got there, there was no flakes on it and they had said that they could put it on if we could wait for spending $131 for a cake and a dozen cupcakes it should’ve been perfect prior to us getting there. We had been up since 5:30 in the morning and we still had a 2 Hour Dr. to get to our house on the beach, the cupcakes had confetti on them instead of gold balls. The cakes tasted awful like a pound of Crisco was used. They were not buttercream frosting. It was awful. I called the owner Dawn to inform her of what happened and instead of letting me speak, she got on the offense She stated how she And her husband on the cameras them offer me to put the flakes on even though we were exhausted and it should’ve been ready when we got there and then stated that it took me two days to call her. We had picked them up on Sunday We celebrated on Monday night and I called her the next day after we ate them she was extremely rude and Didn’t care“I am the only person out of 14,000 people who did not like the taste of her cake’, unfortunately for her, there were several of us at this birthday, but did not like the taste of the cake or the cupcakes. So before you spend or ridiculous amount of money search elsewhere is my recommendation Unless you like a ton of Crisco/lard in every bite of your cake not done the way you had planned it to be. And an extremely rude owner !

Delicious pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Went 5 out of 7 mornings while vacationing in Duck! Strawberry banana smoothie was amazing, as were their donuts and croissants!

We knew we'd be visiting family in Corolla on the weekend of my son's second birthday. I knew from previous visits that Tullio's made some gluten free treats, so I decided to ring them about making a gluten free cake. We settled on a 12" gluten free almond cake with buttercream frosting. The cake was about $80. (Base price was about $70 - I asked for green grass atop the cake which cost $10 extra.) They offered to do the jungle animals for an additional $15, but I opted to get the decorations from Amazon and place them myself. I'm a control freak like that, hehe. Something you need to know when ordering a cake is that you can't specify a pickup time, only the day. You might be the first cake done at 8am or the last cake done just before 6pm. Since they need to sanitize their baking supplies, they did our cake close to the end of the day. That created some challenges with our plans, but we made it work. Best part - The cake. I was extremely pleased with the gluten free almond cake. It was moist and flavorful. I would definitely order it again. Not favorite part - The frosting. My Italian baker mother-in-law said it's fantastic authentic buttercream. To me, it tastes like a mix of buttercream and whipped frosting. As a note, I grew up on traditional country style buttercream (unsalted butter, confectioners' sugar, vanilla extract, milk). This wasn't that. Just know going into the order that it'll be a little softer than the buttercream that stiffens. It doesn't taste bad, just not what I was expecting. No one got sick from gluten contamination. That's a huge deal! Would I order another cake? Yes. Do I love that Duck has a proper bakery? Yes! Would I recommend them? Yes.

Although it’s clearly a family owned business with their “high end” cars (that look about 10 yrs old) parked backwards in front of the shop of course not leaving the spots for their customers. They are leas than friendly or understanding when you let them know if something isn’t quite right. The wife is very nice but the husband is arrogant and not friendly at all. They blast awful music outside so loudly at 7 am you can’t even have your coffee in peace. Not that you would want to eat there they have garbage cans across from each table and attract tons of flies. They should clean up the area and make it nice for people who want to stay. I had what I call the best almond crescent ever and when I came back into town this week I headed straight there. This time the crescent had no almond paste inside zero none and it wasn’t just one my husbands as well. I went back to nicely let them know and the husband was so rude so not understanding and said it was filled…. We are self employed and own a retail business and you should be kind and understanding to your customer. He should have offered me something else or at the least apologized. Your food is only as good as the people who serve you. They are the classic expression They are successful in spite of themselves!

Love coming here when we visit Duck, it's the best bakery to find all your pastry, bread and cake needs or just for a yummy sweet treat. Plus the drinks are great too and such a wide variery.

This is the cutest little cupcake bakery! They also serve a small variety of cookies and bars. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Your cupcakes are packed in a nice cardboard box keeping them safe for traveling. I am not normally a chocolate cupcake person because they are typically dry… however, HappyCake’s chocolate cupcakes are very moist. The Oreo cupcakes are my favorite. My second favorite is the coconut. The frosting on all the cupcakes are amazing! These cupcakes are wonderful for special occasions, dinner party desserts, or a little treat to make you “happy!”

Picked up some cupcakes and a cookie from Happy Cakes in Morehead, NC, and they nailed it. The cupcakes were soft, flavorful, and topped with frosting that was smooth and perfectly sweet. The cookie was just as good, with that fresh-baked taste that’s hard to find anywhere else. Staff was friendly and clearly take pride in what they do. Everything tasted homemade in the best way. Definitely a must-visit spot for anyone with a sweet tooth.

The MOST delicious, enjoyable, yummiest, gluten free cupcakes!!! Even when the "cake" was 1 flavor the different toppings made them taste so unique. I eat at least 2 in the car! Have to get in line during opening because they sell out quick.

I have spent the last 7 years trying to get HappyCakes, but on every trip they were either sold out or closed. I FINALLY got a box of 6 and it was absolutely worth it. These are the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. They are super moist, not overly sweet, and the icing is very light and airy. I will definitely make sure to stop by again as early as possible!

Happy Cakes is the best of the best. If you’re looking for the best desserts on the Crystal Coast. It’s worth the drive, all the hype is real! I’ve been coming here for years, the consistency and quality remain the same.

The coffee was the best I have ever had. We also enjoyed the yummy pastries that we drove back the next day!

Tried things from their bakery and was highly impressed! The brownies are DELICIOUS. They are cakey and not too sweet.. perfection. The tiramisu was also very good! We got a variety of things and everyone loved everything. I tried one of their frappes, a vanilla frappe with carmel syrup added and you could tell it had fresh ingredients. A little pricey but you get fresh products that are made with love.

The croissants are heavenly. Flaky and buttery with each bite. Cinnamon rolls are decadent and soft and by the way, they also offer great coffee. This is a must stop by any one who visits Washington.

Great tasting danishes and cookies. Their coffee is delicious too, both hot and iced. I feel happy to support a business like this is in a town that appears empty. I recommend this place, it's worth your time!

Very good bakery! Super friendly staff. We had the following items and each one was delicious, unfortunately we ate everything before I could take any pictures. Chocolate croissant, sausage & cheese croissant, plain croissant, cinnamon bun, & 2 cupcakes 🧁. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the chocolate croissant. Highly recommend this bakery.

We stopped in for coffee and picked up a maple glazed donut and a spinach and cheese pastry, both of which my husband said were absolutely delicious. The coffee was excellent, with rich flavor and great quality. I appreciated that they use Torani syrups, which added a nice touch. The staff was super friendly, the service was quick, and the shop itself was spotless. A great little spot for a morning treat and we’ll definitely be back.

Worth the wait in line, their donuts are 7/10, highly recommend croissant sandwiches, but again you can’t go wrong with anything they make, great prices on everything and staff is great. They open at 7a, we arrived at 8a and it took about 45 minutes to get through the line, they have coffee as well and everything made fresh daily.

4/26/25 - such a cute spot. Everything was delicious. I got the sprinkle donut, cinnamon bun, and baklava. All were super delicious. I also got a chai latte. They have some cute merch and other little things you can get.

Hands down the BEST bakery in the Outer Banks. First off, the cutest little shop and the employees are such sweethearts. Second, the food is phenomenal. My favorite item has to be the Apple Fritter and the Sausage Gravy Biscuits. Their donuts are fresh and not overpowering in the flavors. The cinnamon rolls are decadent and the size of your head. Their savory items from sandwiches to rolls are amazing. This place can take what's left of my entire bank account it is that amazing. I can't wait to come back next year! 2025 Review: Still absolutely love this place. If I could work here I would. It's a tradition at this point to come in for breakfast and a little treat. My mom and I tried the Vietnamese coffee this time and it became an obsession. We are hooked now and every other coffee place in town doesn't even compare. 🩵

If you are looking for an authentic bakery in Corolla, look no further. Pastries, pies, donuts and bagels, they have selections for all tastes. Would highly recommend a visit during a vacation even if the line takes 30+ mins. Sandwiches and breakfast drinks are unmatched on the upper OBX.

Head over heels in love with this place, I wish I didn’t live so far from the beach, because I would come here everyday for a coffee and a good book. Their prices are amazing, I got so many books for such a great bargain. Their cookies and coffee is delicious. The overall atmosphere is sooooo cute and homey. The staff is so friendly and welcoming! Really love this place. My kids loved it as little kids and they still love going with their teenage/young adult friends. Cozy, unique, quiet and engaging atmosphere. Always something to see. My kids used to love trying on the closet of 'dress up' clothes. Now they enjoy getting a special Italian soda or coffee and looking thru all the books. So many treasures here. A great way to get a break from the sun or rain. Grab a cost seat and enjoy.

I LOVE this place! My family and I stopped by multiple times during our vacation this weekend. The owner and employees were very personable and customized our drinks to our preference- they were all delicious! We loved going upstairs and sitting amongst the books to relax. Great variety of adult and kid books. We will definitely be back!

I love this shop and visit it every year when the family goes to Topsail for vacation. Good coffee and baked goods (try the jam bars!), but the real treasure is the labyrinthine mix of used books, art, and local goods in the space. You will definitely find texts here you can't get anywhere else. Why only 4 stars? Some of the book pricing feels a bit too much of a cash grab. Of course this is a business, making money is the point, but charging $10 a pop for vintage scifi less than half an inch thick that's moldering away leaves a bit of a sour taste. These generally aren't well-known authors, and collector value in my (perhaps uninformed) opinion is pretty low. The bookshelves are overflowing, which may add to the treasure-hunt feel, but it would be easier to shop it if everything fit on their shelves in the normal fashion rather than being piled everywhere. The piles of books have also cut into the very limited seating. I think if they're going to continue being a café as well as a used bookstore they should make sure their tables and chairs remain usable. Unfortunately, some of the book inventory is simply not priced to move; it gives the implication that someone would rather store it indefinitely vs selling it for less than they think it's worth. I actually found one with what seemed to be old mouse droppings between some pages; it's clear that whoever acquires/curates the used books needs to pay more attention to what goes on the sale floor. While I agree that haggling at a small local business is in tasteless, the sign against it doesn't give the friendliest of vibes when you walk in the store. Some sort of bulk discount for used books might be nice, and would help them clear more space, but asking would almost certainly run afoul of the no haggling rule ¯⁠\⁠_⁠(⁠ツ⁠)⁠_⁠/⁠¯

I absolutely love this shop. I could spend all day just browsing around, unfortunately my husband would definitely get tired of waiting. Such a unique shop with a huge selection of used books and great prices. Takes me back in time...They also have coffee and fresh pastries. Can't wait to visit again.

I really wanted to like this spot. But it was quite overpriced for the used books and other items. I find Goodwill, Salvation Army or even eBay to be more affordable. It’s also overwhelmingly cluttered (likely due to not selling enough books/items regularly - because it’s so $$$) Coffee was decent. Baked goods were ok. Gal at front serving coffee, however, was not friendly.

We stopped in last week before getting on the ferry. We were there at 5:15am! We were still dead to the world. They were kind and friendly. I got a blueberry muffin and a chocolate croissant. They were both amazing! We give it 4 enthusiastic thumbs up! 10/10

My absolute favorite scones. Snickerdoodle is my recommendation, but they’re all good. I’ve had several different pastries and they’re all some of the best. The gentleman filling orders is fun to converse with. The baker is quieter, but has a very pleasant personality. Ask him about his art work. It’s on the wild side, but very well done. Ask her about her band. Prices are very reasonable. I schedule a trip to Hatteras Sands campground every year. Scratchmade is a big reason why.

The baker which I assume is the owner is so great we stopped by just after he opened and got a few things. I love the pull apart bread and my husband got a gluten free chocolate moose. He asked our day ahead and gave some great suggestions for Ocracoke! This is the third time I have been by and next time I'm down here I will desktop by again!

Best pastries (particularly the blueberry scones) EVER.

Every item we ordered we loved. Key lime croissant, monkey bread, hippo bread (just a 1 lb version of the monkey bread), peanut butter chocolate cheesecake, cherry pie cheesecake, stoner cheesecake, butterfly croissant with strawberry icing, cheese danish. The owner was awesome, he had sourdough bread that we tried for free and it was FANTASTIC. Do not sleep on that! We ended up making so many sandwiches with it. Additionally, it was so good that the day we were leaving I ran over there and got monkey bread and sourdough bread. I had to bring some home! The customer service was great, they’ll truly answer any questions you have. Also, the monkey bread is made with croissant dough…in case you’re on the fence that should seal the deal to purchase in my opinion. Also, cheese danish was another one not to sleep on.

Do not miss this stop when you are in the obx. Even if you’re in kitty hawk, make it a day trip to avoid the fomo. Our family loves this spot so much because everything is fresh, soft, buttery and damn delightful. Faves include almond buttercream star cookies, jalapeño cheddar biscuits, thumbprint cookies, any of the pies, anything key lime or lemon, anything with big fat chunks of chocolate and the sandwich cookies. We have tried so many things over the past few years and have NEVER been disappointed. For context, sweets are my jam. I’m a novice baker myself, lived in NYC and DC, traveled many continents (ive gotten a liiiittle picky) and I’m often a victim of the meh pastry. Every time I get something here, I am beyond delighted and impressed. Every. Time. Anyway, we love it. Go there and you will too.

Wow! Everything here is delicious!!! So many amazing treats. Cinnamon Rolls, Scones, muffins, Danish, cookies, pie bars, croissants. If you are in Hatteras stop at this place, your mouth with thank you!!!

Flip Flops donut shop is a local favorite in Emerald Isle. They're open daily from 8am to noon (or whenever they sell out). I must admit, I was surprised they opened so late (seems like most donut shops are open no later than 6am). You'll want to get there early because a line forms quickly. We arrived about 20 minutes before the shop opened and there were already ten people in line. The donut shop is a good size with places to sit and eat or you can take your donuts to go. We ordered a wide variety. We had some chocolate with sprinkles, maple covered, cake donuts, bacon with chocolate, creme filled, and apple fritters. By far and away the best donut was the apple fritter. They didn't skimp on the cinnamon and it showed! They're the perfect consistency and are huge! The consistency of the other donuts were very good as well. Nice and soft with good flavor. The help could have been a little better. They didn't offer much guidance and it would have been nice if they were clear that an apple fritter is not considered a donut (we ended up with 30 donuts instead of two dozen. Pricing is on point. You can plan to spend around $2 per donut. We'll be back if we're in the area. Well done!

First time trying Flip Flop’s donuts after moving to E.I. It’s actually my birthday today and hasn’t been going well so far but the lady with the short hair and glasses changed that around with her sweet attitude and then she put an apple fritter in my box of donuts for me for my birthday, for free. It was so nice and unexpected. Now, on to the taste. The cake batter donuts are to die for. I literally got there right before close and they were still fresh, airy and delicious. Just the right amount of sweetness. The apple fritter was the highlight of my day. They have a customer for life 😁

Flip Flop Donuts was a great local find. We sampled a variety of donuts and the (gigantic) apple fritters on our first visit. On our second visit we got 6 plain and 6 everything bagels, enjoying them for breakfast and BLTs. If you like breakfast sweets, the line, made to order donuts, and fresh bagels are worth the wait.

Wow. Their donuts don’t just look good, but you can taste the quality and love put into them. Their donuts are massive so it will actually fill you up for breakfast. Their lemon pie donut is bomb, and I can’t wait to try the other ones later. They were pretty busy for 845 on a Sunday morning, so you know it’s good. Definitely worth a stop!

I love these doughnuts… more than any other place that has doughnuts and my family thinks they are the best too. We have come here year after year when visiting Emerald Island and have never been disappointed. If you try it you will not regret it. Maple bacon is my personal favorite.

Busy busy busy! This donut shop is so good it's tough to get in! Don't let that deter you however, they get their coffee from a reputable source and their donuts are handmade daily. The employees are helpful and kind and the line moves quickly! The environment is clean and fun to look at while you wait! If you're in a rush don't waste your time and break your heart, but if you need a donut and you've got a few minutes to stand in people watch it's worth every moment and every dollar!

My son and I wanted donuts while we were in town and we thought we would try Flip Flops. First, staff was super friendly and we talked to the owner, who was very personable. Second? These donuts are yummy! We got our coffee iced and they give you coffee cubes so that your coffee isn’t watered down. Needless to say, I will be returning.

Great drinks, great service, great vibes, great atmosphere. We went there several times during our week-long visit. The patio is dog friendly. We got some tasty beverages and chilled on the patio with the pups. Highly recommend! This is the go-to place for coffee in Elizabeth City!

I love coming to this place. I bring my dog sometimes, and he loves it as well. The environment of the coffee shop makes me feel comfortable, almost like I'm at home. Also, the drinks are spectacular as always and the prices are fair. Better coffee and cheaper than Starbucks. The staff is always pleasant as well.

Muddy’s has such a cozy vibe – with all the cool mementos on display, a calm atmosphere, and just an inviting energy that makes it the perfect spot to relax, get some work done, or hang out with friends. And the coffee? Honestly, it’s the best in town. You can taste the quality in every sip, and it’s clear they know what they’re doing. The baristas here are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They’re always ready to recommend something new if you’re not sure what to try, and they genuinely make you feel like part of the community. Their smiles and easygoing attitude really make the whole experience that much better. If you’re in Elizabeth City and looking for great coffee, a laid-back atmosphere, and friendly service, this is the spot. Definitely recommend it!

We stopped here since our Air B&B gave us a gift card and it was cute but the coffee was alright. I got a vanilla latte and it was as you'd expect, no real complaints but nothing spectacular. My mom's specialty drink was disappointing however. It's supposed to be a caramel drink but it had no flavor at all, twe had to add sugar later. I'd like to give it another try sometime because it does seem like a nice coffeeshop and it may have just been bad luck on our part.

Love this coffee shop it’s got the best vibe and best staff. They have awesome apparel and coffee the atmosphere is just so welcoming!

Super busy and super crowded on a Tuesday morning. I did manage to get a table and eventually, I was able to get to the front of the line for a coffee. Just a simple drip and that was more than okay today. Wifi worked well, the seats were comfortable and it was nice to watch the constant flow of customers as I blasted out emails.

I’ve been here many times before….. however, this time one in our party car broke down nearby so as we waited for AAA, we came in and actually sat inside and had bagel sandwiches and pastries, baked goods and wonderful coffees! The food the bagel sandwiches are amazing. The bagels themselves are very good. The baked goods were fresh and very tasty. Customer service was exceptional! I finally got to sit in the big room with the comfy couches such a very neat atmosphere to just sit in and relax with people An amazing food and drinks! Coffee is great as are their mixed coffee drinks. We had bagel sandwiches, pizza The pizza bagel sandwich, peach muffin, cinnamon roll, blueberry scone, double chocolate muffin, New Thai cream cheese croissant , angel kiss mochas, and caramel macchiato! All exceptional!

One week in Hatteras, 9th trip to OBX, and this has become a new favorite. Creme Brule hot coffee is delicious, and the spinach/artichoke quiche with pasta salad is fantastic! Raspberry, white chocolate muffin was equally delicious. Our group of 3 thoroughly enjoyed every meal.

We got apple turnovers, chocolate chip muffins and chocolate chip scones. They were all yummy. My son also got a peach smoothie, finished before I could get a pic. He said it was just right, not too sweet.

Honestly, was not impressed. To start, the smoothies were very watery and bitter. The blueberry bagel tasted like it had been sitting with some of the savory bagels because it wasn’t sweet or blueberry flavored at all. The sausage egg and cheese was good, but my bagel was pretty burnt.

We paid $40 per 2 coffee , 2muffins and 2 bacon,egg&cheese . It’s a lot. Especially more than $10 per one bagel But everything was horrible. Muffins was wet . Seems like someone spilled water on it. And our sandwiches i got a ton of eggshell on my egg. What is gross as there is a ton of bacterias on top of the eggshell. We asked for ketchup they gave us expired ketchup. Tiny bags was puffed up and when we opened it was really bad😡. My husband asked for good one they said they do not have it. The prices is really high but nothing worst the money you pay. Im really shocked. I was left without breakfast today. We are from Stamford.CT it’s not a village it’s city where prices is high but even there you can get perfect breakfast for cheaper. Omg even in Dunkin you can have better food!!!

Not exquisite but good enough to make this our traditional breakfast stop on our check out day in Avon. The Nessy lox bagel is my favorite but I want it on a jalapeño bagel. The day old cinnamon buns at at a discount were bland, however. There is quite a variety of drinks, bagel sandwiches, scrumptious cakes...well, a whole hell of a lot of neat stuff. There is a nook room to sit in peace if you want, as well as a generic fining area but we always get takeout for our dismal ride home.

We bought double chocolate muffin that seem 3 or 4 days old. It was very dry even the chocolate chips were turning color like old chocolate does. My wife muffin was no better. We also tried there scones, that were not at all what we expected. Eatable but not good. If we would have tried a fresh made sandwich or something like that we might of been happy.

This was my first time going. They offer vanilla cake donuts and you choose the icing and toppings and make it for you. The choices can be overwhelming but they are patient while you decide. Two coffees and 4 donuts were $16. I didn't think that was bad. If in the area, stop by for fresh donuts. 🍩☕

My daughter and I are here in OBX on vacation and we heard about how good Duck Donuts is so we had to try. And even more awesome, we had a coupon for BOGO. My daughter had an oreo donut and I had a chocolate caramel with nuts. I didn't realize they were made to order so we were pleasantly surprised. They were so good. Hot, melted in your mouth. Cool donut place! Staff was very friendly. Would definitely visit again.

I thoroughly enjoyed the wide variety of donuts available for order, and each one was absolutely delicious! The donuts are freshly made as you order. The only thing you don't really get is the human contact some people may want. You order on a screen, pay at the screen and pick up at the counter when they call your number. All the staff are behind the counter diligently making donuts, which is great; however, there is a lack of any actual human interaction, detracting from the overall experience. Although the prices are slightly higher than expected, the wonderful quality of the donuts makes them worth a couple of extra bucks per donut compared to what you would pay at any other donut shop.

Mouth watering donuts which no one can resist. Lot of different combination of flavors to try. My favorite is blueberry glaze with Oreos. Fresh out of fryer donuts melt in your mouth. It was a bummer that they don’t serve donut sundae like few other locations.

These are great doughnuts. They have a virtually of different flavors. All the doughnuts are made fresh in house and topping are applied when ordered. Go online and order to save some wait time when you get here. I would give them 9 out of 10 stars.

It’s always a banger, hard to beat donuts, just be patient as they are made to order and it’s extremely time consuming, but worth every bite.

I purchased a build your own quarter sheet cake. I chose the chocolate, the wedding cake, the almond pound cake and the salted caramel. It was all delicious! Moist and dense... I can't decide my favorite flavor....all were so good! And Monica was so friendly and helpful. Can't wait for next years teach trip to get more cake!

Nothing but good things to say about this place! Monique was so sweet and helpful. We were down from Asheboro and she made us feel so at home. The selection was GREAT and we had to try a little bit of everything! We will most definitely be coming back. The best part is their openness about their love for Christ! ❤️

This is a great little bakery. My son loves the cookie display case. It's right at eye level for a 3 year old and he gets to pick out his own cookie. The owners are very friendly. We love stopping here for a treat!

This place had one of the best Pumpkin Spice Latte I’ve ever had. The only thing I enjoyed more than the coffee and the food was the pleasant, welcoming, and safe atmosphere the owners have created. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Best chocolate chip cookies anywhere and the cheesecake cups are to die for. You can gain 5 pounds just by walking in and breathing in deeply. Monique and Alex are wonderful people and run a fantastic business. It really do care about their customers. On a personal level not just professionally.

Oh... My... Lord... That place is unbelievably amazing!!!! I was so impressed by just the way they have all their desserts displayed. I just had a Boston Creme donut and it was the best one I've ever had!!! A must go to place to satisfy that sweet tooth. A all the way!!!!

This shop is near the river walk. You step inside to order at the counter. There is not space inside to eat and no tables outside. You pick up your donuts and go. We found a bench at the river walk to enjoy our donuts. If you arrive within the hour before closing all donuts are BOGO. You do run the risk of not getting what you want though. There are a few gluten free pastries offered. My favorite was the turtle pecan donut. The donuts are big. My comparison is Krispy Kreme and Duncan donuts on size. Lots of fun options and flavors for toppings with the same base. Staff was friendly and helpful. If in Wilmington you should definitely get donuts here. There is very limited street parking. We had parked a few blocks over planning to walk the river front area and stopped here.

We came in for the first time because this looked like a fun and tasty donut shop. When we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the guy at the front was sweet with peppy energy (reminded me of a couple of friends back home😊✌🏼) He made a great recommendation of the Cinnabon flavored donut, and I'll say that was one of the favorites out of what we ordered. We bought a box of 6: Banana pudding: great flavor overall and delicious filling Boston bacon: needed more custard inside but great chocolate to bacon ratio on top Vanilla icing filled: needed way more of the filling. This one basically had just a dollop inside, and it was super, super sweet Strawberry glazed: This was my favorite one! The glaze has bits in it that are so delicious. Cinnabon: The topping on this was well flavored and delicious 😋 The espresso high: it was plain with some dry espresso cumbs on top. We wish this had more of a coffee flavor. Maybe in the frosting would be nice and not just having a couple of the coffee crumbs on top These donuts have amazing potential! My only criticism (and I truly hope this is taken as constructive criticism since we want to keep coming back!) I think the dough was overworked. It was more of a bready tight dough rather than airy and light. I think the tightness stems from being overworked, and it prevents you from evenly filling the donuts. The flavors you use for the top and fillings are spot on! I would maybe add a pinch more of salt to the dough as well since it is very much on the bland bread side of a flavor profile. Thank you for the experience! We hope to come back next time we come to work this area.

These donuts are amazing! There are so many crazy flavors to try, but I always get Cinnabomb and my husband always gets the apple fritter. It's huge and he says it's the best apple fritter he's ever had (he's tried a lot of apple fritters!) You should go here if you're craving donuts or something sweet or just really if you're hungry at all.

Jeez needed an insulin shot after eating a donut here! But boy was it so delicious!! Got the Talley me Banana doughnut, it was so fresh and tasted like it was stuffed with Banana pudding. The donuts here are just so decolent and creative. Just one completely filled me up all morning, Highly recommend stopping in and getting a donut or two, or 10, or 20. Wasn't very busy when we stopped by on a Sunday morning, the hardest part was actually picking out what type of donut we wanted. We sat outside and 8 hours so a few other people come out with donuts as well and we would all talk about how awesome they were. This place is a must stop!

This place has such variety! We got 6 to split between two people which was far too many but we got to try a lot of them! If you are craving a donut they will hit the spot. Nothing plain about the donuts though. Be prepared for them to be sweet and fancy! Great experience picking out donuts we had a lot of questions as we couldn’t choose and the guy was super helpful.

Tried them today…strawberry & strawberry cheesecake both PHENOMENAL!! Maple bacon great & what expected! Purple Rain possibly the BEST donut I’ve ever eaten!! I move in 3 weeks & will be back before I do!! Been there several times…always phenomenal!!

You can’t go wrong with choosing Pink Baking for your wedding cake or cupcakes! We loved the variety of flavors they had to offer that weren’t just the traditional ones you always see. We ended up doing a 6” cutting cake and 2 dozen cupcakes, which was perfect for our amount of guests. We chose Churro as the flavor for our cake (because we LOVED it!) and also did 1 dozen cupcakes in that flavor, and the other dozen as 90s Kid flavor. They were super flexible to work with and even incorporated our colors of mint in the cake and peach in our 90s Kid cupcakes instead of their normal color and swapped the sugar cookie for our favorite cookie white chocolate macadamia nut! After the tasting, we were honestly looking forward to that churro cake about as much as we were to actually get married, and it definitely didn’t disappoint! If you want amazing flavor and great quality, you can’t go wrong with Pink Baking!!!

Ashley and her team are amazing! I live in Pa and planning our wedding in OIB North Carolina was literally “a piece of cake” with them. She is an artist and took my ideas and colors, and surprised us with the most gorgeous cake! She also worked out exactly what I wanted with all the cupcake flavors and they were a big hit! Everything was perfect and delicious. I will absolutely go to them every time we are down there visiting our families! Best bakery around 💖

I loved the team for our wedding cake and cupcakes. The cake tasting was amazing. I think we got to try about 8-12 cupcakes. We ended up going with cookies and cream and north carmelina for the cupcakes. The ladies were super easy to work with. We went with a small simple cake for us and cupcakes for the guests. The flavors are amazing! We look forward to taking a trip to Wilmington NC to get cupcakes from them again!

Pink Baking Co. did an amazing job on our wedding cake. Even though we only ordered a small cake we were treated with the same care as if we needed to feed hundreds. We even had dietary restrictions. Pink Baking Co is the BEST!!! Pink Baking Co made my wedding cake, and the final result was STUNNING. Ashley was a dream to work with--I didn't have a clear idea of exactly what I wanted, but I sent here a ton of different inspo pics from her Instagram explaining the different pieces of each style that I liked. Ashley came up with a design that was perfect for my husband and me--a gorgeous blend of a more traditional style plus a pop of color. And the cake itself was SO GOOD! We loved getting to pick from all of the different flavors that she offers, and one of the best parts of the post-wedding experience was eating the leftover cake :) We LOVE LOVE LOVE Pink Baking in our house! They also made absolutely stunning cookies for my bachelorette party and a gorgeous DNA-themed cake for my husband to celebrate his dissertation defense. Hands down the best bakery in Wilmington. Sugarloaf bakery did such a fantastic job on the cake/cupcakes for our destination wedding. We are not locals but heard very great things about the shop. The design turned out beautiful with only a few details I provided. The cake itself was delicious and the buttercream icing isn’t like any I’ve tasted before! It was such a great experience working with them! I highly recommend to try them for just the flavor alone!

Sugarloaf Island Bakery has received my top tier 5 star review. I learned about this local bakery from a PBS special featuring Seraphim Smith, a chef from Kinston, NC. Needless to say, I jumped in my car with a friend on Saturday morning to see what this place was all about. It's a small place in the lobby with display cases and racks with goodies on them. We each ordered the chocolate mousse cups and a blueberry cream cheese Danish and a cinnamon bun. These items were delicious and so fresh. We gobbled these down and then stood over the cases to see what was going home. My friend ordered a small blueberry cheesecake, 2 slices of Bavarian cream cake, a slice of chocolate torte, and 2 chocolate eclairs. These items were only 42.00. I was blown away. In my eyes, a great bargain. Do not hold back, but get to Morehead City and try this place out. By the way, I wanted fresh baked bread but was informed that this usually sells out by 9:30 am. Hint, pre order. The wonderful staff and the owner Rachel are eagerly waiting for you to visit.

What a fabulous bakery!! We got a sampling of several pastries and they were fresh, flakey and moist. They were all so delicious!! I highly recommend the cheese danish and the ham and cheese croissant was amazing--we'll be back!

Apple bread was amazing 5 +++ Sour dough bread was old and stale very disappointed. Other pastries looked fresh and looked very good. But bread was a wash .

I was looking for a real bakery that made an epic cinnamon roll. I found it and it was the best I’ve ever had! So many other amazing baked treats! I highly recommend!

This sandwich is the real deal, perfectly grilled chicken, crispy bacon, and fresh, crunchy lettuce all packed into a soft hoagie roll that holds everything together like a pro. The flavors were clean, hearty, and seriously satisfying. The bacon added just the right amount of smoky saltiness, and the chicken was juicy and well-seasoned. You can tell they care about their ingredients. Bonus points for the generous portion, this thing is loaded! If you’re even remotely near The Doughnut Inn, don’t sleep on this sandwich. It’s a must-try and honestly one of the best chicken bacon sandwiches I’ve had in North Carolina.

This place has the best sandwiches lunch and breakfast. The service from anyone who works here is amazing. And of course, not to mention their donuts and fritters. Yall have got to check it out !!

The donuts were good, though be aware that if you order a raised yeast donut with icing on it, and not glaze, it’s likely to be on the sweet side. I ordered one alongside a glazed sourdough. Both were good but the sourdough was the better of the two from my perspective. The employees were nice and patient with us. The atmosphere left a bit to be desired as there was a group of older men in the shop having their social hour and spouting their political beliefs for all to hear.

Reasonable prices $2.50/$3.50 depending on choice of donut. Got sour cream cake donuts and iced coffee. They were okay. They do offer oat milk and almond milk if you can’t have dairy in the coffee. They do offer breakfast sandwiches as well.There is a microwave if you want to warm the donuts. However, it was dirty on our visit. Indoor/outdoor dining. Convenient location with other eateries in the same strip.

I always take mine to go. This is the ONLY place I want donuts from. They are quality and quantity. You may think the price is high, but it's the same as other places and these donuts are huge! And delicious! Great coffee too!

Husband and I were next door for a doctor's appointment and noticed you guys, husband didn't want to come in, but I'm glad my sweet tooth got the better of me! We got an apple fritter from your Porters Neck location and my husband said "it's the best thing I've ever eaten in my life"!!! Will definitely stop in every time we are in the vicinity, whether it's Porters Neck or Military Cutoff!

Service was okay. Not quite as friendly and helpful as a southern bakery should be. But the desserts were really fresh and delicous!! Slightly pricey but you get what you pay for and these are some delicious desserts. The plain frosted crousants are a must try! Has a nice place to sit inside to enjoy with free outdoor parking. Bathrooms are in the building as well.

The doughnut holes seem pricey, as our local doughnut store is 1 dozen for $2.99 not $5.99. But other than that all the other " Croissants" Not doughnuts" were really really sweet. More of a Dessert place .

You must stop here for sweet treats! My husband came back to our hotel with a box of goodies, and they were amazing! Highly recommend!

Ok, I saw a bakery and had to stop in. They had a wide variety of baked goods but mostly croissants. Smores, maple bacon, cinnamon sugar, chocolate strawberry, and so many other flavors to choose from! I got a box of 12 for everyone to pick 3 flavors each they wanted to try. The croissants were nice and flakey, and the flavors were not overpowering. I was so sad when I ran out! I cannot wait to see another Burneys so I can stop in and grab some more delicious treats!

This place is a treat! Cakes, cookies, croissants, pastries, custom makes, and daily lunch specials! They really do it all very well! We eat here several times per week and I just found out today that they do short order breakfast sandwiches and plates!!! One of my favorite places in E-town!! You will not be disappointed!

The three inch key line mini pie. It has a good lime flavor and graham cracker crust. It’s not a custard filling, but a creamy one. The sweet tea is good. They have a variety of filled croissants that are very good as well.

I placed a Mobile order for an assorted dozen at 8:58pm on a Friday evening. In the app, I saw a coupon in app for $5 off which prompted me to get a dozen versus a 3 pack lol. I arrived at 9:06pm. The middle lobby smelled great. It wasn’t a desert smell but very pleasant yet surprising. It was like the small of a fancy hotel lobby. In the main area, there was an online pickup area but I didn’t see anything. There. My order wasn’t ready yet and they hadn’t even started on it until I told them I was picking up an order. I received my order at 9:09pm. Staff were friendly and I enjoyed the donuts. One of my chocolate covered donuts was more of a chocolate lined donut, lol. I tried the new strawberry pop-tart donut and I enjoyed it.

The staff was friendly, the donuts are amazing as always. However this location is disgusting! It needs to be shut down. Dead flys everywhere, a dirt residue half way up the walls, cobwebs everywhere and just filthy. Doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in weeks.

The frozen coffees are awesome and the hot and fresh doughnuts melt in your mouth. They are so addictive!! The service was quick and friendly.

Store interior was clean and in good order. Staff were friendly and quick. I was in and out. Seemed to be a lot of management which could of been why the store was in good order if so please keep it up! I would say not great curb appeal. They do have a drive-thru as well as seating and customer use bathrooms they also do provide highchairs. Lots of donut options available during my visit. Posted store hours are from 6am to 11pm.

I just went here and wanted to buy 12 different donuts. I arrived at 10:30 and they close at 11:00 pm. The girl at the counter told us, "No, they only sell two donuts per person. I have three children. Do I have to take all my children to the store so I can buy them?" I understand that you wanted to clear the trays and clean, but if you don't like your job, just don't do it. Or maybe because I'm Latina and you discriminated against me? I won't go back to this store.

Ordered pickup for 3 donuts. Got in the checkout line but for some reason the cashier completely ignored us and took everyone else’s order behind us (including another person there for pickup, got their order immediately). Even after confronting the cashier for skipping us, she continued to assist others until everyone was gone. Took over 10 minutes to get 3 donuts we ordered ahead for. Rude service, sad this is the only location nearby.

First all, I was pleased at my most recent visit during the Memorial Day holiday that the hole located just as you turn the corner at the drive-thru was repaired. It’s been some time since my last visit, as I live in Indiana. I know the Krispy Kreme customers appreciate not having to drive in a hole at the drive thru. And thank you for continuing to make some of the best donuts around NC and for providing for a good customer experience with good customer service.

I've been meaning to here and they were busy. It is a lovely building and the person behind the counter was pleasant even on her last day. So many items looked good and the pricing is very affordable. The doughnuts I had were good, but there was an aftertaste with the filling that was off-putting. They were still good. I'm willing to come back.

Fluffy cloud like donuts ! They don't skimp on the sugar around here ! My favorites are the cream cheese and the apple filled donuts. Get there early! Cheaper prices than fast food donuts and wayyy better quality!

This place became my favorite for Doughnuts 🍩 . Really liking the original glazed and filled ones too. I would recommend to taste cupcakes as well. They are really soft and tasty. They serve every item fresh. You can also get birthday cakes 🎂 Store is not really big. It’s run by local people and they are very nice while doing business. You can also pickup and drive through.

Ordered a cake online 8/20 for 8/22 pickup. I arrived to pickup cake and No cake. Staff was not friendly at all, no greeting, or could careless about my order. Per owner, she never received the online order. I had an email confirmation showing order was received and paid. She did absolutely nothing to accommodate their error. I will never patronize this establishment again.

All around amazing bakery...from their doughnuts to custom cakes! Their doughnuts are melt in your mouth delicious! We got a custom cake for my daughters first birthday that not only turned out exactly as I had pictured in my head and looked amazing but it was also the BEST cake I have ever had! We ordered the layered round cake in pineapple flavor! It was amazing with chunks of delicious pineapple between eat later! The cake had so much flavor and was super moist! The frosting was also delicious! Will definitely be using them again!

Let's start off with the rude cashier. No greeting at all. I said good morning and nothing. She didn't speak at all until she gave me my total. Next I've gone to Anne's since Pine Street. This has got to be the worst I ever tasted. Quality has gone down. Doughnut all you could taste was sugar. The donut holes left a greasy after taste . Most definitely will not go back this place needs to close

Stopped here while passing through town and unfortunately did not have a positive experience. The woman working did not acknowledge me when I greeted her, and the overall environment felt unwelcoming. After reading other reviews, I noticed a pattern that raises concerns about potential bias or unequal treatment. Due to the poor customer service, I chose not to make a purchase.

Absolutely worth stopping by for your morning bagel and coffee. No regrets getting the pastrami, egg, and pepper jack cheese on a toasted everything bagel. They had an array of cream cheeses whether you get savory or sweet. -- Be sure to plan a few extra minutes to this stop. The bakery was drawing all the attention from the entire strip mall, packed the entire time I was there.

Stopped by for a breakfast bagel sandwich, and it did not disappoint! The sandwich was packed with flavor—crispy bacon, melted cheese, and a soft egg on a perfectly toasted everything bagel. The selection here is impressive, with both sweet and savory bagels, along with various rolls and breads for all tastes. Service was quick and efficient, which made it easy to grab and go. The whole experience was seamless, and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. I’ll definitely be coming back to try more from their menu. They also have a drive-thru which I only noticed when I stopped inside.

Front attendant is extremely nice! Unsure of her name but I remember she had on a One Direction band shirt. She's very kind, talkative, and gave a wonderful recommendation! It was worth the 30 minute trip from Wilmington! Recommendation was bacon, egg, and cheese on a French toast bagel! Very sweet but also had the perfect kick to it!!

First time here. I will DEFINITELY make the drive from Jacksonville to this bagel shop any chance I get. Got the pastrami egg and cheese on the sun dried tomato bagel 🤌🤌

In summation: Excellence. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent management. My son is autistic and this is his FAVORITE spot! The bagels are outstanding, as is everything else, including the coffee. The menu is terrific and the staff is outstanding. It’s certainly the best bagel place in town (including Wilmington), arguably the best breakfast as well. They remember you and your order, and the owner is usually around making sure everything is top notch. This place is run with intention, so even when it’s busy it’s smooth. Not enough stars for this place, definitely worth a visit. AND they have a drive through.

So convient, and so good. Its more than bagels, even though they are the best. Know their sandwiches are made to order on a variety of options including bread. What i love most is the team behind the counter-they are patient, invent fun sandwiches, and try to make your sandwich the best ever. This is why its such a great experience.

A perfect spot for a DELICIOUS breakfast sandwich! Excellent variety, soft and fresh bagels. Highly recommend the pumpernickel bacon egg and cheese with scallion cream cheese. Everything was so incredibly fresh and tasty. Service was great, staff was attentive. Great quality! Will certainly be back to try a French toast bacon, egg and cheese next time!

It’s really a shame that this is the only location near Wilmington. No one says anything to you in the drive through unless you initiate the conversation first and even then they tell you to “hold on.” This has now been my experience twice. Once I ended up just going inside. The second time I had placed a mobile order and after waiting at the speaker box for 10 minutes I finally just told them I am coming to the window. I sat at the window waiting again for another 10 minutes. There was NO ONE else in the drive through and 1 customer inside. Absolutely unacceptable management.

This Krispy Kreme was fantastic. Donuts were warm and fresh. We made it for hot-light hour. Everyone enjoyed the donuts. Cashier was very friendly. Bonus was free donuts due to free donut day.

On top of having a skeleton crew that is unfair to the employees, the cashier was extremely rude. The 1 star however is for the extremely disgusting, bitter, horribly inedible excuse for kreme filling they have inside the sorting hat doughnuts, which they are charging nearly $5 for. All I can taste now is bitter… please take more care when mixing the cream with food coloring, as that is just pure awful! As a former employee for the flagship store before JAB bought the company, this is a bit heartbreaking to see how little care is left in an industry that started in Nc. First time I’ve ever not finished my doughnut. also, don’t pause mid-order to go and rant to your coworker about the customer… what are you doing?? Edit: after speaking with manager about the cream that they do still make in house, they had zero concern. Maybe don’t buy your kids the Harry Potter doughnuts as they are utterly disgusting, and they have no interest in fixing their batch of “bitter” cream.

Drove to the drive-through waited 10 to 15 minutes. 2 cars ahead of me and nobody was served. Used the app and ordered, went inside to pick up order and they didn’t have the product in stock that I paid for. But they did make a management decision to substitute. I’ll be back. Needs improvement, staff most likely. Donuts were not fresh.

I'm reviewing this based on today's visit. Normally, this place is awesome and have never had an issue until today. Used the app at the drive through for the points. Cashier had no clue how to handle it (just use the hand held scanner). The biggest issue with today's visit was the quality of the donuts. Way too much glaze and it never even touched the bottom of the donuts. I like glazed but come on! Even someone with no training could look at these and figure out it's not right.

Second day in a row of NO DOUGHNUTS....why are you even open??? The only thing you make is doughnuts and you have NONE. What happened here. For real. Shut down the damn app so I can't order them if you have NONE...happened a month or so ago too, when the Harry Potter donuts were "now available"...specialty donuts I can forgive. Zero donuts...close your damn doors. Now I get to wait for a refund...absolutely unacceptable. Go to Dunkin' and save your sanity. This place is useless. Krispy Kreme with no donuts. 2 days running. Wasting my time and money and now I have $78 dollars on hold because 2 days in a row y'all can't provide the only thing you make....apparently except for making people angry. Zero stars wasn't an option but this place deserves ZERO...you know, like the donuts they have available. 🙄😕

WORST. D.D. EVER. (I feel I can speak with authority being from New England). Years ago, this location was good. Not anymore. Today was my birthday and thought I would redeem birthday points and treat my daughter and her boyfriend and myself. I ordered my regular, everything bagel toasted dark, she ordered an everything bagel toasted, he got two chocolate donuts, we got an iced coffee and frozen coffee, both half sugar The bagels ABSOLUTELY DID NOT GO THROUGH THE TOASTER. The texture was as if it had just been thawed. Neither bagel looked like it has even come close to a toaster and neither were even warm. The drinks tasted like they had double sugar This was a mobile order so they had plenty of time to toast. I wish I could say this is the first time it has happened. But every single time I go there it is like that. I will never return to this Dunkin again ever. I'm not sure I will go to any Dunkin donuts because they are so ridiculously expensive now. I did call the store and she asked if she could get me free food and I said no because it will probably continue to suck. I could have gone in and got bagels that were toasted better, but I know they would have just thrown it away and started over and I hate to throw food away. The photo on the right is supposed to be toasted dark in the photo on the left is supposed to be toasted. Clearly you can tell neither has been toasted at all.

Staff is rude and very nonchalant when taking orders. Atmosphere is nice and the place is clean. But the staff seems irritated to be there and can be short with customers. Food is haphazardly handled and dropped in the ready area.

Never had bad food from any Dunkin', and the service was fantastic. I find everybody is always so tense in the morning 🌄 in and around Dunkin Donuts, and roadrage is off the charts. Otherwise, it's a pretty normal morning.

This is the wife's favorite place to get coffee. We stopped in here before we headed back home from Emerald Island Beach She ordered a French vanilla ice coffee. I could tell she was enjoying it but I asked her if it tasted good anyways. No response. No time to stop savoring the drink. Just a big thumbs up of approval.

Absolutely RUDE employees. The restaurant was not welcoming and the employees were all blatantly rude, grumpy, frantic or just ignored you while on their phone or chatting with other employees.

Favorite Dunkin EVER! Never rude always friendly, my frozen coffee is ALWAYS frozen 🤣! It's the little things that can make a difference in someone's day. They have decorate your own donuts right now. The kids loved it!! So happy to have an awesome Dunkin to go to...it does not always work out that way!

Absolute trash this place needs to be shut down I ordered a large caramel latte and got a small latte so i said they messed it up and they gave me a large i get to work and its a plain black coffee i take it back they make a new now its just hot milk no expresso at all im not going back a 4th time in 1 hour or ever again 1 star bc thats the lowest im aloud to rate doesnt even deserve that

3/2/2023 :The wait was long, I ended up going inside, where after I went to leave, visitors in line would not let me back out: cramped doesn't describe the parking lot: finally a local let me squeeze out: this after 25mins. Ridiculous "" and where after my online account which worked any other Dunkin "did until I walked inside this one in Manteo where I live..and then it wouldn't pull up my account which I had a gift card which I tried showing my credit of $5 dollars which surprise, surprise was told by "I assume the manager" the manager that it couldn't be used, and told that his account didn't work all the the time either?? Well shouldn't that be fixed? and only told instead that I should take it off, and reload up the app .. (Well last time I did that I lost all my credit earned, and my gift cards were voided, do did not do) but it is odd that it worked at the Kill Devil Hills Dunkin" shop? If not for the locals who keep them from closing in the winter they would be out of business, and it mattered not that the young girl waiting on me, could not hear me, though I repeated my order several times and still received it incorrectly, and it shows my request on the receipt..I cannot have cheese, and there was cheese melted & spread all over on the over $5 dollar bacon, egg with" NO cheese croissant ..it was given to me with cheese so because it would had made me sick for I am a local customer with chronic illness, in & out of the local hospital here in the OBX's who has supported " Dunkin donuts " for year's hoping for better, ended up throwing my food away, I did try to eat just the croissant" not covered in melted cheese but that tasted rubbery, stale and egg ( or is that an egg?? Hmmm???) Couldn't eat the overcooked.. rubbery egg.. the bacon was stringy undercooked, and put all together,not edible.. The donut holes 10 little stale holes which were over $6 dollars which was to expensive for what put together was 1 donut for 5 bucks:the larger donuts were stale,( I've ate 20 day old bread that was fresher..I tried the trick that usually helped: 10 seconds in the microwave and it didn't even help: as soon as it began cooling was like eating a hard ball of unglazed though glazed? Hard dough) it was overcooked dough not made fresh obviously so.. just eat fast before it gets cold if desperate and though having a bad experience the last time, I ordered the potato rounds again they were so greasy I couldn't eat at all.. they were even stuck to the inside of the little bag they arrived in, and after peeling them off tried to sop some grease uck! " and put in the oven, keeping fingers crossed: well no luck today..and if not for grandchildren who ask to stop I wouldnt had stopped.. and after this last visit today, I know I will NOT anymore, sadly the employees are not very friendly or personable even though I tried to speak kind and friendly myself they just appeared confused with anything ordered. And no greeting: or farewell..I know I'll not spend the cost for the such low quality items again.. sorry locals or visitors, but a quick meal isnt always worth the cost if you throw 90% most or all of it out...

Employees taking orders were rushing us through the drive thru "because of the line being long" The only person respectful was the Employee passing the food out, she was extremely friendly! I am an Assistant Manager in the food industry and the way we were handled was not acceptable. It doesn't matter how busy you get you still treat everyone respectfully, especially when they have questions about menu items.

I was screamed at and insulted to the point I just wanted to leave. The staff had screamed at me and my family for inconveniences on their end. My sister had asked a simple question about the 6 dollar meal and the employees started screaming at her for taking to long to order and wouldn't explain anything. I had placed a online order and my app wasn't working. They had screamed at me for placing a order and said it's unacceptable that we took so long because they had a line to the road. It is not on the customers for the staff not knowing how to handle the rush hour. The staff screaming at customers through the drive through speaker isn't how the customers should be greeted. The staff was so incredibly rude that other cars could hear them screaming at us. Me and my family had 4 employees alone screaming at us through the speaker. I understand how rough customer service is and how stressful it is but I have never screamed at a customer for inconveniences that are not the customers fault. I would rate a 0 out of 5 but I have to put one just to write this review. The entire staff was rude and condescending. Next time don't scream at the paying customers for something they can't control and rushing them to finish their order. When customers say give them a minute it doesn't mean scream at them because they are inconveniencing you and your time.

Not worth going here unless you perhaps strictly go drive thru. 5 employees only myself inside as a customer and one drive thru person. Was told to use the self service kiosk as they would "take awhile to get our order otherwise." However they could quickly make my drink and forget my food. They eventually asked if everything was okay and i said my food. They got it quickly. Don't kniw why i couldn't be helped at the cash register and it would hve been quicker and easier for me as well. They weren't necessarily helpful or customer service friendly just meh.

I am from out of town and was going to be on vacation in Emerald Isle during my wife's birthday. I called Frosted Cakery and asked for a custom sheet cake and gave some vague outline for decoration. They took it and ran with it. The cake looked great but more importantly to me was absolutely delicious. Staff was kind, friendly and easy to deal with. We also bought 4 cupcakes when I picked up the cake. All were great. I definitely recommend Frosted Cakery.

Not the best first impression. The espresso cupcake was dry and crumbly like it had been out for a couple days. The girl that served me was disinterested in being outgoing or friendly. The best experience for me was the chocolate salted caramel cupcake. It was delicious! I’d try here again to give another chance, but for first impression it was not great.

My husband and I did the corks and cakes and absolutely loved it! We had so much fun. The owner was so incredibly nice and very helpful. Everyone was very friendly and we all had a great time looking at each other's cakes. By far one of the best date nights we have had. 😊 I highly recommend it for a date night or girls night out!

Definitely a gem. I had an emergency order today for a dear friend's 22nd anniversary today. There happened to be someone in the store, and they were closed, and they offered to put together a cake for me ASAP. Great cake, great customer service - you won't find that in corporate America! Thank you for making the day special for two very special people in the community.

Our absolute favorite cupcake in town! We get our daughters birthday cake here every year and we always love it. I do think they are a little pricey, especially when it comes to custom cupcakes though.

We got a coconut and a red velvet cupcake on our visit to Frosted. They were excellent. They had great customer service and a cute shop. We will go back the next time we are in town.

I have gone here a few times and had cupcakes from this bakery on multiple occasions. They have been delicious every time. One of the amazing bakers even baked me a unicorn birthday cake as an inside joke, and it absolutely made my day. That’s the kind of people that work here. For those of you who were upset about something, if you ever just said something to them about it instead of attacking them or getting mad and being just rude, all they would do is fix it because they want their customers to happy. If you want something made a special way, just ask. They’re a great business and want their customers to get what they want. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. I’ll definitely keep going back as long as I’m in NC!

Go here! Go here!!!! GO HERE!!!! Saw this place while doing my research. My plan was to hit it on my first day in Nags Head and grab a bunch of stuff for me and my relatives stay in Rodanthe. But I called an audible and hit it on morning we were leaving. HUGE MISTAKE. This place is utterly fantastic. The owner is obviously a talented baker by the first glance in the display case. Doughnuts, fresh baked bread, chicken schnitzel, hamburgers, twice fried real frenchy fries. Local told me to get the sausage (made in house), egg and cheeseon a challah bun (baked in-house). If I lived within 50 miles I would eat this every day. I'm a biscuit guy but this is by far the greatest breakfast sandwich I've ever had. I also got a buffalo chicken stuffed pretzel and a Boston cream doughnut. Both awesome. My travel partners got chicken schnitzel tenders and a homemade dipping sauce. He raved how good they were. My other relative had an apple pastry that was as beautiful as it was tasty from the taste she gave me. No inside seating but do have a really nice outdoor seating area. Lady waiting on us was so helpful and she loved her job and knew the product and made excellent recommends.

Proof Bakery is a great donut, pastry, and sandwich shop in the Outer Banks. Everything is made fresh every morning. The donuts were the best I’ve ever had and the service was wonderful. Do come early because there is a line!

We visited this place for the first time admittedly when we tried to go to our favorite coffee house and the line was out the door. We arrived at Proof where the line was TO the door, but at least it involved the AC! It was a fortunate discovery because this place is delicious and will remain in our rotation. There were so many delicious sweet and savory pastries it was hard to choose! They offered coffee but I spotted glass bottle sodas and opted for that. The line took about 10 minutes from walking in to ordering, and once we ordered, the wait was practically negligible. So don't be discouraged by a long line. We'll be back!

If you have a craving for Donuts or Danishes, this place is a must! All items are baked in the shop freshly. Although there's not a dining area, most customers get take outs. Besides the baked goods, breakfast sandwiches are also available. You may want to try out their Creme Brulee donut. We have not seen this made elsewhere. We can confirm that it is as good as it sounds.

This bakery was a great discovery. We were visiting the Wright Brothers Memorial, decided to take a quick break, and found this gem a few blocks away. Sweet and spicy chicken schnitzel was really tasty. Fries were really good (for a change). And the donuts for after were yummy. (Picture is a bit of a mess, but I couldn't wait to get stuck in). We dined on the patio.

This is a wonderful bakery perfectly situated in a central location and with consistently kind and upbeat staff! We found the apple vanilla danish, blackberry bear claw, and cream cheese danish to all be superb as well as the seasonal strawberry danish! The sticky buns and challah roll breakfast sandwiches are also classic and must-try items. You really can’t go wrong. We have come several years in a row now and look forward to coming back each time. We have usually grabbed pastries and/or sandwiches to go but they have lovely umbrellas over tables outside for dining in.

We had a truly delightful dining experience. Our server, George—originally from Champagne, France—was both informative and gracious. He took time to walk us through the menu, highlighting the nuances of each dish and what made them distinctly French. We started with the French onion soup and the cheese plate, both of which were rich and satisfying—so much so that we decided to share the beef stew for our main course. For dessert, we indulged in the mini doughnuts and chocolate mousse, both of which were decadent and beautifully presented. The entire evening unfolded at a relaxed, thoughtful pace, lasting nearly two hours and never feeling rushed. It was an authentic and memorable meal from start to finish. Highly recommend!

Really cute place. Surprisingly inviting and with an incredible atmosphere. They have the restaurant and a separate bakery area for a quick to-go item. I tried the espresso with a raspberry dessert and an eclair. It was incredible! I came in their off hours (between lunch and dinner service) so dessert it was! Next time, I'll come back for dinner!

I’m not French, so I can’t speak to the authenticity of the cuisine, but this isn’t Dunkin’ Donuts. Carefully curated confections that were a delightful little brunch snack. If I were to try and get close to France in spite of the distance, this would be a way to draw near.

This place is extraordinary, stepping into this place takes me back to when I was over in Europe and the food is amazing. The owners hospitality and humility is above reproach and the waiters and waitress are there before you can even ask. The pastry are above and beyond as well as the bakery server she’s very humble and answers any questions you may have. Over all if you want to try something that will make you feel like you’re in another country this is the place, and to have the French experiences. Thank you to the chefs, waiters/waitresses, bartender and the bakery server. And the boss can’t forget about him.

Wanted to love this place but…. The pastries lack flavor or freshness. I got the ratatouille the veggies I thought were either frozen or cooked with too much heat as it had zero flavor. Tasted like a watered down vegetable soup. I told them to take it back that how much I didn’t like it. Asked for a Caesar salad and the dressing was made with a strong lemony Caesar dressing. I COULD NOT GET THROUGH IT. My mom didn’t like anything but the quiche which was really good. The server was fine. I did have to get her a few times as she was always in the back of the kitchen. The worst unprofessional part of the experience was when the manager or owner asked us how it was. I told him It was ok the ratatouille tasted like maybe frozen vegetables. He sarcastically laughed and said we are French we don’t do anything frozen but ok whatever. Which I replied well don’t ask if you don’t really want to know and then get snippy when I tell you the honest truth after spend 30$ on bad tasting food. You would think his concern would be to make sure I had a better experience after letting him know we thought it was ok. I grew up with culinary chefs and I also have a garden with plenty of veggies. I know what flavor taste like and therefore I know what is lacking in flavor. This place isn’t worth the experience for the price.

Far From France has the way of a Paris restaurant. Very classy inside decor in a great central location in the heart of Wilmington, NC. The lady waitresses dressed in French colors add beauty & charm to the scene. Prime spot for lunch or dinner with superb food quality. Beautiful bakery including treats & delicacies to top it off.

My husband and I had Side Street Bakery design our wedding cake and cupcakes for our March 2024 wedding in Oak Island. Both turned out so beautifully! Returned to the Bakery in June 2025 for some treats and tried the Hawaiian Cake- So delicious! Will always visit when we are in the area.

I ordered 3 dozen cupcakes for an event- all carrot cake. They were such a huge hit! It seemed as if every person who had one came up to ask me where they were from! Christine is so wonderful to work with- I had even asked her if it was possible to have the icing be a silver/grey color (I placed the cupcakes in a design) and boy did she deliver! Pickup was smooth and the cupcakes looked and tasted heavenly. 10/10 - HIGHLY recommend!

Wonderful experience and atmosphere with the cake tasting with my ladies in a cute shop snuggled in Southport. Our cake was delivered on time as promised and perfect. Everyone talked about the cake all night and a lucky few were able to take some home!

What an adorable shop! We bought a slice of heavenly cake! They call it a slice or piece yet it will feed at least 4 people if you just want a reasonable bit. We also bought a cheese biscuit. There was more cheese than biscuit but it was a perfect arrangement. The service was prompt and friendly. There was a comfortable spot to sit. I highly recommend!!

Heard about this from friends...especially chicken and pastry Thursday...solid lunch menu, but homemade soups seem to be the savory stars of the menu. However, the real draw is the variety of baked goods...I mean 12 to 15 different cakes!!! plus pies and cookies...everything I sampled was wonderful. So very pleased with how my daughters special order cake turned out for her 22nd birthday! I took in a picture of what she asked for and the Baker matched it perfectly. She was over the moon excited with it and even more excited that it was Carrot Cake… her favorite ;) Not only was it designed beautifully, but it was absolutely delicious. Also the girls working the counter were so welcoming and accommodating during the order and the pickup. One even insisted on carrying the cake to my car and secured it for transport. So glad we found Confection Connection! Her entire surprise party was based around this cake and you all did not disappoint. Thank you so much!!!

Seriously, this is THE place for a piece of cake. It's absurd how good Clarissa's cakes are. And don't sleep on those peanut butter chocolate chip cookies. Have to mention the chicken salad as well, simply stated, it's good. period. One more point, good things aren't cheap, cheap things are cheap for a reason. The sweets, the chicken salad, all worth the money you invest. Should also mention the front staff is always helpful, smiling and prompt with service. Blackbeard and his Pirate Crew would love this place, because there's nothing but hidden treasure within the display cases and cake containers.

We ordered a 10” yellow cake with chocolate icing a couple days before the Memorial Day holiday, and they accommodated our late order. This cake was one of the best cakes I have ever eaten anywhere! We’ll be back for more cakes for sure.

I really enjoy this bakery, it’s very clean and well maintained and the pastries are great. (My favorite are the cannolis). The staff is also amazing, well, the one girl who’s always in there. I believe her name was Lauren or Lauri. She’s very nice, very professional and will go out of her way to make sure you get what you wanted. If she can’t find it out front, she will stop what she’s doing and go look for you. Very good customer service and that’s rare these days when most food service employees look at you like you’re crazy when you expect them to do their job.

Went in to check it out because they had cream puffs. I don't know what type of cream filling they used but it wasn't cream it was some thing else that tasted like frosting and was way too sweet. I got some dog treats for my dog and she refused to touch it. When she finally did she was sick for about 2 days after. I had to throw them out. I don't know if they were old or what was going on but disappointed. Whole Foods cream puffs are pretty good and didn't cost as much as this.

I stopped by after work, I managed to make it a few minutes before they closed but the employee working was already locking the door as I walked up, she saw me but proceeded to close the door and turn off the open sign! It would not have taken much time for me to grab what I needed and get checked out. To close prior to the shops closing time is honestly unprofessional. This makes me not want to return to this location.

baked goods are always delicious. customer service is not good. part of my order was not in the bag. she had boxed them up and forgot about them. i called to confirm i wasn’t charged for them. i was not, however the girl who helped me did not apologize for making that mistake. inconvenience for me as i do not have time to go back and get them. i understand people make mistakes however she did not seem concerned she had made this mistake.

Giving this a 2 because my kid liked her elmo cupcake. I did not enjoy my cakes. One was a chocolate cake with hazelnut frosting. To me the cake was stale and after two bites I threw it away. The chocolate cupcake with the chocolate mousse was not to my liking. The cake was also stale. I like moist sweet cakes with bold flavors. These cakes were dry with subtle flavors. If you like that kind of cake then this place is perfect.The price was not so bad. I've spent at least $16 dollars or more on slices of cakes and didn't mind because the cake was so good. The three cakes I bought from here cost me a little over 8 dollars, which I'm glad because I was not pleased with the taste of the cakes. Maybe the cookies are better.

Our order was ok enough but the service we received on multiple occasions left a lot to be desired. Coming from a person who doesn't expect a lot and has a lot of grace for different personalities. There were multiple employees standing there as we placed our pretty basic order and they ALL acted like they were doing us a favor taking our order, like they couldn't have been much more annoyed. One girl even greeted customers at the register with crossed arms that stayed that way. 😂 hard to imagine going anywhere else and just accepting that the person taking your order is so put out by your presence in their place of work. I am totally emphatic with being young and working in an area that's new to you and not being 100% with the language most customers are speaking...but a little effort towards friendliness/customer service would go a long way, regardless of language spoken.

i never usually go to Dunkin because there isn’t one close to my home. i got a clumpy matcha latte, you could see chucks on the bottom. ordered an oatmilk matcha with vanilla and got a french vanilla matcha latte with regular milk (I’m lactose intolerant) told me they were out and didn’t give me any other lactose free options so i assumed that they were out of those too.

Do you want to know why they have the fastest service here?! because they don’t even make their coffee properly. I asked for a caramel iced latte. I got a watered down milk special with a swirl of caramel. GROSS. Too expensive for these dumb mistakes!

I will just start out by saying the food and service is always quite good. It's s fairly decent Dunkin... BUT FIX YOUR AIR CONDITIONING!! For the past SEVERAL WEEKS, I've gone inside to pick up orders, and every time, it feels almost as hot inside as it is outside. Completely UNACCEPTABLE working conditions!! And no, putting a giant fan does not help. I feel for these poor employees that have to work in such terrible conditions! It's absurd, and someone should be reported for this negligence! THESE ARE HUMAN BEINGS!! How do you sleep at night? You should be ASHAMED!! We have been experiencing several heat waves and warnings these past few months, I pray for these poor people. You all deserve better. Shame on you, Dunkin.

I go here quite frequently. Everyone is nice and kind. The two managers go over and above and train their staff to as well. I’ll pass three Dunkin’s to go to this one every single time even if the line is long and I have to cross the bypass. Lol

While celebrating our anniversary my husband and I stopped by spur of the moment and requested a small cake for 2. Without hesitation we were told to come back the next day and it would be ready. As promised it was available and beautiful the next morning. We couldn't wait to taste it but almost hated to destroy the perfect decoration! This was the best cake either one of us had ever eaten! Sweet and moist and decadent! Everything a cake should be! I am hooked and will be forever grateful for such a wonderful and memorable experience!

Their cinnamon glazed pastry was perfection (I can't remember what it was called). I seriously have never had a fritter type pastry that is this good. It was also huge and my wife and I shared it, and are going to share the eclair later. I am looking forward to going back and trying the cream cake and tiramisu, and their other donut selections, and cinnamon rolls. They also had individual quiche on offer and a variety of cookies and brownies. The coffee was good but a little week for my taste. As for atmosphere, there aren't any ferns or funky artwork, but if you're looking for great pastry this is the place.

Stopped in with orders from my wife to bring home donuts while I was traveling for work. This stop did not disappoint. Stopped in for a dozen assorted donuts and ended up talking with the owner for a half hour. I love the negative reviews citing rudeness. You get what you give. Best donuts I’ve had in twenty years in this state.

We were in little Washington for a girls trip for the weekend and our first stop was at this brownie bakery we were greeted by the owner who was very rude. My friend asked him if they baked all their deserts which set him off like a bomb. Not sure how he has stayed in business so long with that kind of attitude. The desert was good but NOT good enough for me to ever return! There are other bakeries downtown on Main Street that are worth and deserve your business.

I stopped going to this location because they seriously do not know how to make a coffee. I wanted one this afternoon and didn’t feel like driving to Hampstead (which is the one I usually go to) and ordered a shaken expresso. Same thing I always get so I know how it’s suppose to look and taste. The first one is the one they give me. Literally looks and taste like a latte. I went back inside to have it remade, which is the second one in the pic. It’s obvious how different they are. Still wasn’t that great but definitely a lot better. I’m just going to have to face the fact that I cannot go to this location because it’s that terrible.

As I entered an employee was sitting at one of the tables with his feet up on another chair. After waiting at the counter he got up to take my order. I was the only one in the store. Here is why I am giving this Dunkin such a poor rating. Besides my first impression which really said it all. The counter was covered in sugar dust. The garbage cans were overflowing. The floor was dirty. And when I got my coffee the order was wrong. One cup of coffee with milk and sugar.... really.

Workers are very dismissive and rude when you first pull up on b the drive thru. The only wait is incredibly long even when there are very few cars. Owner is always a pleasure to be around, but the employees are not.

It takes so long to get a sandwich order here because no one will bring the bags to the pickup counter. Watched my food sit there for 10 minutes before someone finally brought it to the pickup counter. Now the food is barely warm. It’s funny to me how these fast food restaurants rely on young people to run them without proper leadership. They don’t care though because tourists will come no matter what.

I will drive across town just to visit this Dunkin! The staff and manager are GREAT! They are always happy to serve you and more than willing to accommodate their customers. I sometimes stop by multiple times a day!

Wife ordered a cake from here for son’s birthday. We were expecting it to be amazing. The cake looked wonderful. But not sure what happened, it tasted like paper. No one finished their piece. My daughter loves cake, couldn’t even eat it. Not sure what was wrong with the cake, probably the worst cake I have ever tried.

This has been a childhood bakery for me. I have had cakes made for almost every birthday and for many other occasions. For the first time in my life Apple Annie’s has let me down. I spent days hyping this cake up to my entire guest list for a birthday I threw for someone very special to me. I don’t know If management changed or someone decided to get money hungry or lazy but it did not have the same quality as previous cakes in the past. I ordered a custom cake for a birthday the main issue being the images on the cake. Apparently now they are not longer edible. This was a huge disaster watching everyone toss the cake and talk about how disappointing it was at the birthday. I spent $80 and a total of 3 hours driving to pick up the cake for no reason. No love was put into the decoration of the cake. Sadly the saying is true good things do not last. This is not the Apple Annie’s I remember!

I hate giving 1 star reviews. Especially to places I’ve loved since I was a kid. My most favorite item was the Rum Squares and I have been getting them for years. Several months ago I went to get some and the new manager told me they stopped selling them individually and can only be bought in half or full dozen. Which was extremely expensive. So I left, very disappointed. This has been a nostalgic thing for me for so long. I went back today and saw them there again and got so excited they brought them back, but noticed they looked different. They COMPLETELY changed the recipe and they don’t taste the same at all. It’s missing the chocolate bark on the sides and is covered in milk chocolate in replacement. There are now almonds and coconut?? The icing tastes totally different and the cake doesn’t cut the same. It was hard, dry, and falling apart. Why fix something that isn’t broken? It also would have been nice to have a warning that recipe was changed because thank god I don’t have nut allergy. I want the old rum square recipe 😩

I came to visit Wilmington for my boyfriend's birthday, and was looking for a bakery cheesecake for him, Apple Anne's was one of the first places I noticed while searching. I was alittle hesitant to order because I wasn't sure if we were going to like it or not, I ordered the 9in NY style cheesecake with strawberry filing. It was delicious!!!! I can't stop eating it, I wish I got something else while we were visiting. I will definitely be back!

We were craving Krispy Kreme and made the trip from Morehead City to get a couple dozen boxes of doughnuts. Unfortunately they were sold out of everything except for glazed. We were looking forward to a variety of doughnuts especially the Boston cream and the birthday cake.

My Fiancé and I went in this morning get donuts and drinks and Shift lead Natasha made our experience 1000x better, she has an amazing personality and helped us chose another drink when one was out of stock. If you’re looking for consistent disappointment, wasted time, and an experience that falls miserably short of what used to be a beloved treat, then by all means—visit the Krispy Kreme in Jacksonville, NC. Otherwise, do yourself (and your gas tank) a favor and stay far away. Let me begin by saying this: my family and I used to love Krispy Kreme. It was our go-to for Sanday mornings, celebrations, even just a simple pick-me-up after a long day. There was something comforting about that red "Hot Now" sign and knowing that you could walk in and pick up a dozen of your favorite classics. But somewhere along the way, this location lost sight of what made it special—and it’s only gotten worse. The first red flag came when they quietly started removing fan favorites from the menu. One by one, all of the donuts we actually wanted—the ones that made us loyal customers—started disappearing. Classic glazed creme filled, the original with Kreme ( the one that came around when the panthers went to the Super Bowl, and my kid’s favorite, literally all of the cake donuts, are all gone. (Blueberry is there on rare occasions) In their place? A rotating cast of novelty donuts that are either unappealing, overhyped, or sold out before noon. It’s baffling. Who makes the decision to cut the core products that people come for in favor of limited-time gimmicks no one asked for? Still, trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, I decided to use the mobile app to place an order and save time. You know, that thing businesses push as a convenience for busy customers? Well, spoiler alert: it was anything but convenient. I placed a mobile order at 5:02pm for a later pickup since it was going to be a late night after baseball, paid for it, and drove all the way across town to pick it up after the baseball game. (815 pm). That’s 45 minutes of my life I’ll never get back, and a quarter tank of gas I didn’t plan to burn to come up empty handed. When I got there, not only was the order not ready—they had sold out of the donuts I paid for. No apology. No substitution. No courtesy call. Just a shrug and a “we don’t have those anymore.” That’s it. I stood there, stunned, while they offered me absolutely nothing to make it right. They didn’t offer a refund until I requested one, didn't suggest an alternative, didn’t even bother to acknowledge the inconvenience. What kind of business model is that? In what universe is it okay to take someone’s money, not provide the product, and then send them away empty-handed? Their excuse was that even though my order was placed and paid for 3 hours before, the system didn’t “fire” to pick the order until 8:07pm. A broken system they clearly know about, but don’t care to fix. But yet again, I know that I have been in multiple times and seen mobile orders sit for more than 10-15 minutes. This leads me to believe that they filled my order, and then turned around and sold them to someone else. (considering that the order recipe they use to fill the order was in the garbage crumpled up when I asked for it to see the "fire time") Meanwhile, my family was at home expecting sweet treats. My kids were excited, we’d planned the evening around it, and instead I showed up with nothing. I had to make a last-minute run to Publix just to salvage the situation and Publix cake, because at least they know how to keep products on shelves and not oversell inventory they don’t have. Krispy Kreme, if you’re reading this: shame on you. This level of incompetence and disregard for customer loyalty is astounding. How hard is it to update your mobile app to reflect real-time inventory? How difficult is it to train your staff to offer basic customer service, like notifying people if their paid orders can't be fulfilled? At minimum, give people a call, offer them a replacement, or issue an immediate refund. Literally anything but this “too bad, so sad” attitude you’ve adopted. I can’t remember the last time I left a donut shop this frustrated, this inconvenienced, and this let down.

I just went through the drive through I ordered a iced caramel mocha latte. then I was told they don't make it like the picture I have to request it?? What I ordered something because It looked good like the picture, then she told me I should have downloaded my dd214 so I can prove i was in the military. listen this was the worst visit I've ever had, then I asked if she could fill the cup up with ice so the coffee wouldn't be hot because I ordered the iced caramel mocha latte.Guess what my coffee is hot I ended up putting ice from another drink I had in it. and my ice is all melted it disgusting. I will never again go here I always have bad experiences when I come here I go to Dunkin or Daryl's.

Their donuts always hit the spot!!!! I love that they always have different promotions and different donut collections. This time I went to pick up some of their special Biscoff Doughnuts and they did not disappoint. Their staff is also very kind and friendly. Love this place!!!

Typical Krispy Kreme. When I go, I get a frozen caramel latte and it usually takes about 5 minutes and there’s always only 1 worker that I see. So with it being only one person it’s a reasonable wait for the drink to be made and served. She is usually very friendly as well. And it’s most often times quiet and not very busy around 7:15 in the morning

I went to pick up my $0.88 dozen on the 88th anniversary, I expected a wait but a whole hour is crazy. My mom and sister had to take my daughters (3&4) to the bathroom because we waited so long in the drive through, and couldn’t get out of line because of how the parking lot is. Once they were inside the manager was very rude about how long it would take to make more donuts. The inside was also full and the customers inside were upset and it was just an overall unpleasant experience. I would give 0stars if I could. I didn’t even end up getting my donuts.

Absolutely awful experience. I wish I had gotten her name but I was trying to keep my mouth shut as it went down, I almost drove away. I'm a regular, sadly, and have never had this experience there. From the minute I pulled up to the window I had to repeat myself numerous times. I was loud and clear so I can only assume it was the music (which I could even hear) blaring in her ear. I got past it. When I got to the window and saw the donuts were being made hot I decided wanted more. When she opened the window her attitude was awful but again, i got past it. I apologized that I didnt know the donuts were hot when I ordered at the speaker and ask her if she would add another dozen and a milk. She rolled her eyes, took my card, and slammed a dozen (not hot mind you) on the one I previously ordered. I just paid $32.85 for a pathetic attitude. Yay! I went through the drive thru. Hot light was on and I ordered a 3 pack of hot glazed. Advertised price on menu board wasn't honored and donuts weren't hardly warm, much less hot. A terrible experience that visit

Just received a dozen of glazed donuts from door dash and every single one of them has black particles on them. What in the world!

Every time we go, they never have original donuts ready. Just the speciality ones! It's an excuse every single time! Do better KK!

The donuts and coffee look good but the parking situation has to change. There are traffic blocks in the entrance from Western. Either move these to the beginning of the entrance right next to Western or remove them. In engineering this is called a 'dumb door' because by having the entrance at all natural human response is to try to enter. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

I’m not one to write a bad review but as I lay here in bed, with an upset stomach, I’m honestly kind of pissed off. I have a very simple order that has never changed in the 3 years I’ve been ordering it. A medium/large (depending on my mood) iced Matcha with oat milk and 3 vanilla flavor SHOTS, I say shot and not swirl; this is relevant later. Once I approached the window to place my order, I came to the shocking realization that it was windy outside which made it hard to understand the woman over the speaker. I told her my order, to which she asked if I wanted vanilla or french vanilla. Me, thinking “wow they came out with a new flavor shot?” asked what the difference between the two were, to which i was told one was sweeter (that being the french) so I decided to go with the french. Once I had received my drink, I noticed it was infact a flavor SWIRL and not a shot. “No big deal” I thought, simple mistake. I very politely told the woman who handed me the drink that there had been a miscommunication somewhere and that I didn’t want a swirl, as I have a severe dairy allergy and the swirls contain dairy. I was then told “well we can’t take the drinks back I don’t know” so I offered it to my friend in the passenger seat while apologizing for the whole situation profusely. Then, who I’ll assume was the manager came up and in I kid you not, the MOST condescending, annoyed tone ever, asked if I wanted my drink remade. Once again apologizing, I said yes because I was allergic to it and there must have been a miscommunication. She grabbed the drink from me, rolled her eyes, and walked away. I sat there, befuddled if you will. I don’t know if they thought I was trying to swindle them out of a free drink, I sincerely just didn’t want to spend the night on the toilet. I got my new drink, no sticker on it so I couldn’t confirm what was in it. I took 3 sips before I noticed not only was my drink made with regular milk, there was cold foam on it as well. Obviously this post was made to be silly and funny and make light of the situation, but I did get very sick on the way home as well as wasted my money :( dear girls at the window, if you see this, idk maybe try lightening up a bit! customer/food service is tough but there’s no reason to be a blatant jerk especially when I did my absolute best to be as sweet as possible!🫶🏻

Went with my husband today to get his coffee to the young lady whom think it’s cool to keep calling my husband baby then love then baby again when he asked for something else .. I told her very inappropriate tho u don’t see a wife in the car cause u hear a man’s voice tho I’ve worked customer service for yearrrrs I would never speak to a customer with baby and ok love and yes baby well I told her moved up to pay and the big fella to accept the money didn’t get any but I did give him a tip tho u may feel it’s ok I don’t my husband didn’t even feel comfortable but he the guy to accept the money tried to say something about that’s how down south ?? This Dunkin used to be one of our favorite places for coffee...it was open 24/7...but yes it was a huge issue when trying to drive through the order lane!! Way too tight for Trucks... the drive thru definitely needs to be redone!!! Ridiculous!!

I work on the road and I stopped to get a bacon sandwhich. They sold me a sausage again I'm on the road driving and opened it and took a bite, realized it was not what I ordered and stopped somewhere else to eat. This was around 830 or 9am I went back to get a refund around 10am and the manager refused to refund and said "well it seems you liked it, you took a bite". I explained what I said above and she still refused to give me a refund. Won't be back to this 1!

I took 2 stars away for the food being cold and had to asked for napkins. I come here regularly once a week and for the most part the food is hot however they never put napkins in the bags. I’ve always had to asked for napkins. I thought napkins comes automatically when you order food?

🍩 GO TO DUNKIN INSTEAD OF BUX! No joke. It's cheaper and the employees are way way way nicer than that other place with the mermaid. I'm with others who say go to Dunkin and leave the Mermaid in the ocean. 🌼Quality is just as good in the foods. The coffee is getting there. The donuts are not why I go there! Crazy huh! (I prefer more fried, greasy donuts, Dunkin's are too bready for me). 🌿Add really great customer service (instead of those snotty people who are mad every time we ask them anything at Starbux). I am sold by the customer service of Dunkin Donuts. Smile and give me a decent drink or food for my family and me and I'll be going back! 🍩

I was shocked at the disorganization and disrespect of service from the employees. I was respectable the entire time in the store even when I didn’t get my entire order and when I showed them my entire order they did nothing. Told me I was wrong although I had the receipt and continued to disagree with me until I eventually left. When i go somewhere and spend money on food I like to get ALL of my food that I paid for without any judgment or arguments from the employees. I have never had this happen before where customer needs were so blatantly disrespected.

I’ve been to a LOT of different Dunkin’s.. this is hands down the worst. Not just bad customer service, but it feels they are not trained correctly. My frozen coffee was liquid throughout and not blended. Unable to drink it. Attitude at the window. Will not return.

I've stopped by this location several times the past few weeks. I always get a single donut. $1.92 is the total cost. I have paid twice using $2 in cash. Both times, I was only given back a dime instead of the correct 12 cents. I think the next time I go in, I will pay $1.90.

I paid $5 for what was supposed to be an iced latte. Their coffee is always vile and tastes like soap. Super rude if you ask them to remake a coffee. Zero stars if I could. This location turned me off of Dunkin coffee completely for months and when I finally decide to give them a second chance this is what I get. NEVER get food at this location either, their hash browns will be half raw and taste like plastic or the bottom of a freezer.

We ordered at 4:01 pm. One frappe and two donuts. Girl behind the register looked frazzled and confused, didn't know what I had ordered, and got both of the donuts wrong. We waited a total of 10 minutes for my drink, and when we finally saw them making it, they gave the drink I had ordered to someone in the drive through, and gave me the wrong drink. If I could give it a 0 I would.

Please do go to this location. I came here one morning and the employees acted like they needed coffee more than I. They didn’t laugh at my jokes and had attitudes. I took a sip of my hot French Vanilla coffee. IT WAS SLIMY!!!! 🤢🤮 I took it back and told JARMANE (the manager with long red braids). He offered to refund my $4.19 with an attitude and NEVER apologized. Then, he threatened to call the police. I asked him to please send them. I’m an honorable Wounded Warrior who served during 9/11. He quickly went back to work and left me alone. So take it from me, THIS PLACE SUCKS!!!!!

We went to this location and I think her name was Zachariah at least that’s what it says on the receipt. She was very disrespectful from the beginning to the end. When we asked her to add cold foam to the drink we paid for cold foam on she called us ghetto and proceeded to pour the drink out of the drive thru window while being very disrespectful toward us. This is not acceptable and should not be tolerated at a professional business.

So much better than the one in Roanoke Rapids. My mobile order is always ready when I get there. That means alot to me. Amazing friendly staff

I stop in here every time I am on a long road trip. It is always clean. Staff is always friendly. Great place to stretch your legs especially with little ones.

Very slow service, employees overly relaxed when people are long lined up. closed drive through. Apparently severely understaffed. Expect to stand in line forever.

I gave this Dunkin 5 stars, but it’s always that one bad apple in the bunch that makes it -1 star you know? I couldn’t even tip this time she was in her own little world like what goes through a persons head. Y’all need to call the meeting there’s definitely one of those among ya, not good

We drive 25 mins out of the way to come here because it’s so much better than Roanoke Rapids. Shaelynn is so nice. She’s a treasure.

Just ordered the Choc Chip Mint iced coffee. I got a plain iced coffee, nothing added. Its pictured with whipped cream and syrups on top. Got none of that either. I said "This does not look like what I ordered." Both girls at the counter turned their backs and walked away. Never again.

The grandest shout out to Amanda for helping this frantic Momma - who was on her way to deliver cupcakes to a surprise party and had a cupcake catastrophe in the back seat of the car on the way. Amanda was kind and calming and helped me pick out replacement sweets quickly so I could be on my way in time for set up. I am ever grateful.

Terrible attitudes. I stood inside for awhile without being greeted or waited on. I ordered a frozen coffee and didn’t get the whipped cream on top that I always get. The district manager added it for $1.07 after lecturing me on frozen coffee doesn’t automatically come with whipped cream. I just didn’t appreciate the sarcastic tone coming from the district manager.

This is a Dunkin’ not to miss! Unlike many Dunkin’s, they make their donuts on-site as opposed to being made off-property at one of their distribution points.

Lady said she was the general manager couldn’t see her name let alone she had the worst attitude. Ordered coffee how I get it everyday and she said it not Dunkin standard. She’s a snobby old lady and is nowhere near professional. She has a horrible attitude makes me want to never go back to this Dunkin. And me and my crew go here everyday. Sad this lady ruined our Dunkin spot for us.

Huge shoutout to JJ at the Carolina Colours Dunkin’ Donuts! Hands down the BEST customer service I’ve ever received at this location. JJ was so friendly, upbeat, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect with my order. It’s rare to find someone who goes above and beyond with such a great attitude, and JJ absolutely made my visit a great experience. Dunkin’ is lucky to have him!

If you get a caramel latte and it’s white and tastes like milk with caramel in it then that’s not a latte. If I’m not mistaken they have espresso in them. When I went inside to get it fixed I was met with attitude and the drink was made the same the second time. I don’t get my order remade often but come on this isn’t cheap. I get latte’s more than I should so if it’s handed to me and it’s white, yeah you made it wrong, just fix it. I don’t need to be made to feel like I’m stupid. Won’t be spending money here anymore.

National donut day was a nice treat I will say! The staff was friendly and the boston Creme did not disappoint. The store appeared clean overall, not a huge fan of the drive-thru. If you don’t turn your vehicle just right, you’re gonna miss that window.

Person that was working the drive-thru had a nasty attitude. This location needs to change their menu if they don’t make what’s on their menu posted. We tried to order a refresher with lemonade because the menu literally says “try with lemonade”. They got all snappy and said it’s made with sparkling water only. Then I wanted to order a turtle cappuccino blast and they got snappy again and said we don’t make that. I’m at a loss with the lack of customer service. If you don’t make it or it’s seasonal, that’s fine. Remove it from the menu.

Arrived at the window at 8:30 and the hours say closes at 9:00. The automatic "we are closed" message was playing. We started to drive away, someone comes on the mic asking if they can help. My husband said ""Oh sorry I thought it said you were closed" someone yells in the background "because we are closed!" Are you kidding me? That is unprofessional and rude. So sorry we assumed the posted hours were getting in the way of you closing early. Pretty sure the owner would want to make that money.

I've come to this dunkin donut for 2 years with my fiance over the years I went today with my other family and I ordered 1 14oz milk a sweet tea a coffee and Rockstar energy drink everything else was perfect and it was good but the milk tasted and smelled spoiled they quickly replaced it and the taller black guy making drinks was rude and told me I had to try it there now when I tried it I spit it out it somehow tasted worse and then the manager came and told me im the only one who's complained and just decided to refund me like I was wanted that to begin with I've had some good interactions with this place before but now im not sure if I'll ever return I wanted some quality customer service and for them to understand the milk tasted spoiled and rotten. I was never rude or raised my voice, so for this treatment, it really bothers me.. I have an update today is 6/18/25 It turns out they aren't supposed to give you milk in the plastic cups but its supposed to be in a sealed bottle like it was on the screen they still proceeded to hand me this plastic up with milk in it telling me they just opened one and poured it in. It's sad I got a call from the lady in Morehead wondering why this Havelock stores problem got sent to her because the complaint line can't figure out what their doing. It's been a few months since this whole incidents and me and my family and I have not returned its baffling how a few rotten eggs could completely ruin a whole store I wouldnt waste my time ever coming where again its a lost cause the owner should be paying more attention.

Literally the rudest people I’ve ever met. Everytime me and my family go they have an attitude. I used to work for a Dunkin myself so I will be repeating to corporate. If you hate your job that much, quit go to school and find something better. You go a hour or two before you close and they claim they are out of everything. The manager always has an attitude. Probably why the other workers do as well. They don’t like it when you pop an attitude right back at them.

The donuts were ok , but the coffee was blahh weak as he@@ and when I asked for a little more black coffee for the cup of cream I instead of a coffee… Out on no where this lady ( rough around the edges) employee was rude asking what the problem was??. She was saying she had just brewed coffee.The 2 young men were very polite, The were apologetic for the nasty lady.she was like a Chihuahua dog barking about a bit of black coffee! That lady needs to go. The 2 young men were 5 stars! Just know good service goes a long way! This was our first time here!
