Restaurant
Sams Indian Food & Pizza is a beloved local spot in Joshua Tree, CA, offering a mix of classic Indian dishes and traditional pizza. Established around 20 years ago, this straightforward restaurant has garnered a loyal following. While the traditional Indian fare remains popular, their unique offerings like Indian-style pizza and pasta dishes add an interesting twist to the menu.
If you are in Joshua Tree NP then in the evening you should try their food. Best Indian food after a long time. The special was Pizza which was having so much flavour of India. A whole different experiment with cuisine and it tastes amazing. Must try! People were so friendly here too. 😊
Debasish R — Google review
I have to be honest. The service was great. The place is a little run-down but it feels cozy. I'm a huge Indian food lover and eat this stuff a lot. Unfortunately, this restaurant was in my humble opinion not the greatest trading food. The chicken was tough, to the point where I almost did not eat it. I have driven by this restaurant a lot in the last 6 months and was glad to finally dry it but the food tasted good but bland or completely off flavor. I will huge or another try here in the next few days hope it was just a bad night.
Andy B — Google review
I had lunch here it was excellent! The service was attentive and friendly, making the experience even better. The food was authentic, full of flavor, and truly satisfying. Definitely a great spot to stop by after a day in the park!
Mahesh R — Google review
We have been curious about this Indian restaurant in Joshua Tree, California, for a long time, and this evening, we decided to give it a try since we were in the area. When we arrived, the restaurant was full, which is usually a good sign. We did have to wait for a table to open up, but it didn't take too long. The restaurant itself was not big, but there were numerous tables. It was nicely decorated, but I will admit that it was a little dark. It was a bit cold in Joshua Tree, and the restaurant itself was cold. We had a pleasant experience, but there were a few issues. The food was delicious and definitely flavorful. The dishes had a different flavor from other Indian restaurants that we had dined at. You can smell the aroma outside of the restaurant. The butter chicken that I had tonight had a different flavor profile than I had before. This was probably one of the best that I've had, but the chicken itself was a bit dry. The Chana Masala was also a bit different it which it had a smoky flavor. The vegetable samosas were delicious and cooked nicely. The garlic Naan was one of the best that I've had. The service was fine. Unfortunately, we had a couple of issues. The staff members were all friendly and helpful. The first issue was that we had to remind the staff members about our Chai Tea. We didn't get that immediately, but we did get halfway through our meal. The second issue was not getting the second appetizer we ordered. That was the Samosa Chat. Now, the third and final, initially, we wanted to order some Mango Lassi, but we were informed that they ran out. Now I did find it funny that a customer walked up to the front and asked about a Mango Lassi. A few minutes later, one came out for him. That wasn't a big deal. Yes, I do watch everything that goes on in a restaurant we dine at. Overall, it was a nice dinner, and the food was delicious. The service needs to be worked on, but hey, at least they were friendly and helpful.
Mullen T — Google review
Good Indian food! The staff was attentive and service is fast. A good variety of fares to choose from.
Marcus N — Google review
We had samosa chaat without yogurt, coconut korma curry (vegan) comes with rice, and veggie pizza without cheese (I asked for pineapple and cilantro instead of extra cheese). They do have coconut milk and modify dishes which is a plus. The samosa chaat was a big portion, the curry was not that big. Mini pizza for $9.50 was a good sized but the veggie pizza I ordered had taste of ghee… make sure to ask no ghee Service was slow despite not many people inside, only one girl taking orders from diners, serving food, taking orders to go, packing pickup/delivery orders, felt like they were short staffed. Very clean and maintained place with dimmed lighting, minimalistic yet modern design, and overall good food. They do have beers, desserts, and other drinks.

Absolutely amazing! Our new favorite place to eat in Joshua tree! Literally the best meal we’ve had in a while

Super flavorful! Happy to find they don’t skimp out on the spices like some places in LA do. They messed up on my order at first but they were crazy quick to fix it. Glad to know there’s a good Indian restaurant in the high desert.

Thai restaurant
Royal Siam Cuisine Thai Restaurant is a convenient option located in a strip-mall, offering a diverse menu featuring traditional Thai dishes such as noodle-stir fries and Chinese favorites like chow mein. Customers can expect an authentic culinary experience characterized by great taste and quality. Despite having limited staff, the service is commendable, with one person managing the front of house and another handling the kitchen. The restaurant's popularity is evident through its bustling atmosphere during peak hours.
Family restaurant close to Joshua Tree National Park. Excellent selection of traditional Thai and other Asian dishes. Duck curry, Wonton Soup, and Fish Cake were excellent. Very friendly and quick service and nice portions.
Matt S — Google review
I was craving for some asian foods with aroma and this place took care of it for now. It's surprisingly nice to have a restaurant in the high desert that serves foods with great flavor. The Shrimp Tom Yum was really good (with only 4 shrimps in it) and you need to order rice separately. The server, Krittika, was friendly and my order came out in good time (there was one other occupied table when I arrived). Based on Krittika's suggestion, I will seek out Thai Cafe (YV) to try their phở.
SL K — Google review
We were craving for some Thai food and landed up here. We ordered Cheese wonton, kung Pao veggies with rice and crab fried rice. The portion size was good and food was okay and so was the service!
Shruti D — Google review
I wasn't sure what I was expecting, but it should have been a little better than what I paid for... husband and I ordered some dumplings that honestly tasted like they were pulled from the freezer with freezer burn, the shrimp tempura and egg rolls were ..ehh okay... the chicken pad thai noodles seemed overcooked, with watered down spices, the red curry beef tasted like a brown coconut soup.. over all nothing was fresh or tasted fresh, the dishes tasted like they were prepared days before and then preheated, and if I hadn't checked the receipt, we would have been charge for something we didn't order.. maybe we didn't order the "right stuff" or something... but it's safe to say we won't be returning. 😥
Bianca O — Google review
I’ve tried larb at several different thai places over the years, and the larb at Royal Siam is stellar! I asked for it to be spicy, and with extra dressing (because I like it saucy), and it didn’t disappoint! It was one of the best larbs my husband and I have had, by far. What an delicious meal out here in Joshua Tree. 10 out of 10!
Lisa G — Google review
We were asked to go and pour our own water from the pitcher into Styrofoam cups. My sister has MS so I did it, but why? Everything is served with plastic utensils and disposable containers for dining in. I was asked if I wanted rice with my curry, yes. They charge extra for rice. The curry was oil based with a small amount floating at the bottom of a small disposable tray. My sister's pork veggie stir fry had no spice or flavor. This was the worst Thai food experience I've ever experienced.
Debbie W — Google review
I’m posting this on 7/28 and this restaurant is closed due to some kind of sidewalk construction- so if they aren’t answering their phone don’t make the drive out. I’ve been trying to eat here again every time I come to town over the past 8 years but either I get here after they close, or they aren’t open. I ate here in 2017 and it was the best Thai food I’ve ever had and I hope to eat it again someday! Help!

Thai Smile Palm Springs is a family-owned restaurant that offers a cozy and comfortable setting with both booth and table seating. The simple decor, adorned with original Thai artwork and a saltwater fish tank, creates an authentic atmosphere for diners to enjoy their meal. The menu features a variety of authentic Thai dishes such as red curry, gai kua, and mango with sticky rice. Despite being unassuming in ambiance, the restaurant is known for its delicious offerings like pad thai and tom yum soup.
We ordered delivery and it was tasty! Great consistency in the noodles, beautiful flavor in the curry. The proteins were dry in each dish but flavor was good l. Underfilled fresh rolls but good portions otherwise.
Heather A — Google review
Conveniently located Thai restaurant that is open later than many other dinner places in the city. Decor is beautiful but feels dated and appears to be needing some TLC. Staff was friendly and the service here was fast. We ordered a few things and no complaints about taste or the quantity. My husband liked the Lemongrass Chicken. I liked vegetarian dumplings. Pad Kee Mao was good too with plenty of veggies.
Tejaswini L — Google review
Pad Thai (lunch special) was served with white rice. I have never seen a noodle dish served with rice before, but the lady explained, it is because of the lunch menu. Everything from that menu is served with rice. Tastewise the Pad Thai was good. Not excellent but OK. The temperature is pretty cool inside, bring a jumper if you are sensitive.
GH W — Google review
Horrible horrible! I ordered all vegetarian plates. My tofu curry came with shrimp pieces and the shrimp peel. As i was taking a bite I tasted something strange and spit it out. 🤮🤮 when i complained they asked me if I wanted to cancel it. But I felt bad because my brother was hungry. So they brought us a new one. And nothing was free lol no discount nothing. But I will never go eat to this place again! Horrible! Im glad I didn’t get sick. My point is that vegetarians or Vegans shouldn't eat here due to cross contamination at this place. Why would there be shrimp peel on a vegetarian curry lol? In response to the owner!!!!! I never asked for anything for free. I could've easily refused service and gone somewhere else.
Frank G — Google review
Thai Smile has Palms Springs best fresh and delicious Thai food. The druken noodles were top shelf, and the chicken pad thai was hot and made to perfection. A perfect blend of spices and fresh vegetables. These dishes were served piping hot from the wok. I highly suggest this restaurant when visiting Palm Springs. 🌴
Tony C — Google review
Great lunch specials that are served fast, so perfect for being at conference at the convention center and wanting to eat away from the conferences incredible service. Nice atmosphere with indoor outdoor seating
Damon T — Google review
I read multiple reviews, particularly the negative ones, before choosing this Thai restaurant. The only comments that was valid was that there wasn’t that much protein in some of the dishes and there wasn’t a bit of a lag in taking our order, but after that, everything happened in a timely manner. The menu was the most diverse of the Thai restaurants I looked at and offered much more than the most common dishes. Everything we had was delicious. The portions were all large. My dining partner couldn’t finish the basil duck. I’m from NYC and given that a lot of people come to Palm Springs from LA, I expected NY prices and that’s what I found. I would definitely come back. We had already started the appetizers when I took the photos. There were 4 chicken egg rolls and 5 shrimp blankets that were served.
NYC M — Google review
Short and sweet: the staff was friendly and efficient, and the food delicious. What else can you ask for in a restaurant. Oh, prices were also reasonable with a great lunch menu available.

Nestled in a charming strip mall, Peppers Thai Palm Springs is a beloved local gem that serves up classic Thai cuisine alongside enticing lunch specials. The restaurant's interior boasts a delightful Thai-inspired design, enhancing the authentic dining experience. Guests can indulge in traditional favorites like red and green curries, tom yum soup, and specialty dishes paired with fragrant jasmine or brown rice.
Good Pad See Ew. Classic Thai noodle dish done right. Also got the extra vinegar and chili just like in Bangkok so that went an extra mile for the flavor. Just the portion size for one person is huge compared to Thailand so bring a friend and try more dishes.

Probably the only authentic sit down Thai restaurant in Palm Springs, quality is good. Ambience is decent. Overall really good. If you like it spicy, like L.A Thai food spicy (aka "Thai spicy")🔥, order it number 5.
Camilo A — Google review
I arrived here about 20mins before closing and staff was still nice and accommodating. By all means don't push your luck with doing this but the food was really Good and I tipped well for taking care of us before closing time. Food arrived very quickly after order!! This place also does take-out orders so call em to see if they can make your tummy happy on the go.
Jawann B — Google review
Excellent!! May be the best Thai food we’ve ever had. The Pad Thai is amazing as is the Basil Chili Chicken. The lunch menu is extremely worth it as the dishes come with salad covered in a very tasty peanut dressing or soup. A must try when you’re in Palm Springs. It was our first stop the day we arrived.
Steve F — Google review
Our resort in Palm Springs recommended this place. We are very glad we went. The food is very affordable and delicious. The portion sizes are large. The staff friendly and work very hard. Highly recommend this delicious eatery
Mandy D — Google review
Every time I try a new Thai place, I’m always skeptical about whether it will be good or not. While visiting Palm Springs from LA, we decided to give this restaurant a try, and I'm glad we did. Not only was the food delicious, but they were also open on the Fourth of July, which was a pleasant surprise and so thankful for that. The dishes were flavorful and authentic, and the service was friendly and efficient. And the next good thing was there was FREE UNLIMITED parking across the restaurant, we couldn’t believe for a sec( cuz we are from LA 😂) I highly recommend this spot for anyone in the area craving quality Thai cuisine.
Yunbucha B — Google review
We went in and were told that there is a 15 minute wait before we get a table. However, in the next 5 minutes, we were pleasantly surprised when a table was made available. This place was next to the restroom, next to the server doors. Not at all what I was expecting. The food however was good. We ordered their Veggies in Green Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice, Chicken & Shrimp Curry. All these dishes were flavourful and perfectly balanced. This was downed with a couple of Singha and Heineken beers.

We lived in Bangkok for three years and always long for Thai food when not making it ourselves. Fortunately we have a few Thai restaurants here in the desert. Out go-to is Peppers Thai. The flavor is consistently good and the service is excellent.

Vietnamese restaurant
Restaurant
Rooster And The Pig is a trendy restaurant in Palm Springs that offers a unique twist on Vietnamese cuisine with a Southern California influence. The industrial-chic eatery, owned by Chef Tai Spendley, serves up creative dishes like arancini with a panko crust and chicken stuffing, as well as aromatic coconut yellow curry. The bar menu includes an array of beverages from beers and wines to specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic options like Vietnamese iced coffee.
Got here at 4:45pm on a Thursday and were 5th in line. It seems like people who arrived a little after 5pm were still able to get a seat. They have 2 seating areas and I couldn’t discern who got seated where and why? We got seated in what seemed like a more dim and intimate area. They had couches which were comfy. The other area seemed brighter and more upbeat…but I loved where we sat, as it was nice and cozy! Service was very friendly! I loved that they asked about allergies and made sure my son was safe. We were pleasantly surprised by the complementary congee. It was a small bowl packed with a lot of flavor…what a great way to start a meal! We got the fried rolls and cold noodles to start. The rolls were good…they were maybe slightly overdone, just a touch hard and dry, but the sweet sauce made them better. The cold noodles were tossed in a sesame paste, which was actually refreshing! For bigger plates, we got the pork belly fried rice and crispy beef egg noodle. Both amazing flavors and huge portions!! We had leftovers that tasted amazing the next day. Overall, such an amazing experience…We would definitely come back again when visiting Palm Springs!!
Angela A — Google review
Absolutely fabulous. From the starter to the entree, each item was perfectly cooked and seasoned, mouthwatering and flavorful. The complimentary Congee starts you on your journey of culinary delights. Reservations are not accepted however this restaurant is definitely worth any wait. The staff are awesome, attentive and friendly.
Kenneth C — Google review
Excellent plates with lots of flavor. Fast and attentive table service. Beautiful indoor space and a handful of tables outside. I really enjoyed the vermicelli pork dish. Gets very busy after 5:30/6 so either come early or be prepared to wait bit
Damon T — Google review
I can't emphasize enough just how incredible the food is here! We dug into the Bun Cha—perfectly grilled pork served with vermicelli noodles that practically melted in your mouth—and the chicken rice ball in curry, which was a flavor explosion. Both dishes had generous portions, so you’ll definitely leave satisfied. The vibe was cozy perfection. The place has a warm, inviting atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and lively—great for a meal with friends or a cozy dinner for two. It’s buzzing enough to feel vibrant, but not so loud that you can’t enjoy a conversation. And let’s not forget the service—shoutout to Colin for making the experience even better! He was quick, friendly, and had great recommendations. All in all, a must-visit if you’re craving delicious food in a chill, welcoming spot.
Michael S — Google review
I was on a bachelorette trip in Palm Springs, a total of 6 of us. Our plan after we flew in on Friday was to get take out from here but unfortunately, they don’t do take out. However, I’m glad we didn’t! We would’ve missed the whole experience of this restaurant. I think we got there around 6 pm on Friday and it was packed, we had a 15 minute wait. Completely worth the wait, the food was delicious. Our group did a couple of appetizers and then chose our own main entree. The drinks were delicious and before you get any of your ordered food items, they bring out a little rice porridge, on the house - it was very good! We were pretty hungry so I didn’t take pics of all the food. I highly recommend the fresh rolls!! We tried: Shrimp & Mango, Fennel, and Lemongrass Pork & Date. All 3 were so so good. Favorite out of the 3 would probably be shrimp & mango. For my main, I had the lemongrass pork noodle bowl which is essentially a cold noodle dish. The pork was cooked to perfection and the veggies were all fresh. If you get the chance to try this place out, do it!
Bethany — Google review
We got here 20mins after they opened, and the restaurant was fully sat down. We waited for about 30mins before we got seated ourselves, so I would recommend being here the moment they opened. Service was fast. The only issue we encountered was that our two main dishes got served to a different table, so we had to wait for those longer, hence one less star. The menu is limited, but every dish looked great, coming out of the kitchen to your table.
Kat R — Google review
I have been to over 20 countries in my life, and this meal easily ranks within the top 10 I’ve ever had. The ingredients were fresh, the flavors were divine, and the staff was friendly enough to make us want to return even if the food HAD sucked. The worst part of this restaurant is that we don’t live closer to it, and Daniel was so friendly I regret not having met him years ago so that I could’ve asked him to be my best man at our wedding. If you’re considering getting dinner in Palm Springs, you’d be stupid to go anywhere but here.
Hunter J — Google review
This place is phenomenal. Every time I go to Palm Springs I make sure to stop here. If you can only eat at one restaurant during your time in PS - this is the one! Crispy rolls: perfectly crispy with a hint of citrus. Ube cocktail: creamy and unique, strong ube root flavor Crispy beef noodle: amazing, the beef is perfectly crispy and the noodles are fairly plain Cod: extremely spicy but even though your mouth is burning, you crave more of the buttery cod and dill

Nestled in a cozy corner of Palm Springs, Thai House Restaurant is a delightful gem for those seeking authentic Thai cuisine. This modest eatery specializes in classic dishes like red curry and various rice and noodle entrees, all crafted with fresh ingredients that evoke the comforting essence of home-cooked meals. The inviting atmosphere is complemented by a charming patio area where diners can enjoy their meals al fresco. Owner Nisa takes pride in her culinary creations, often seen personally serving guests from the kitchen.
Had a great dinner here the food was really good. We tried the Panang curry and spicy noodles. We asked for spicy and all of the food had a good kick so this place can actually do spicy. The spicy noodles were definitely the highlight but portions were on the smaller side. The curry was good but a bit too watery. We prefer it to be a bit thicker.

Great Thai restaurant in Palm Springs. Able to make adjustments for vegetarian/vegan requests. Spice levels 2 and 3 were about the same. Staff/owners were friendly and helpful. “Spicy noodle” is drunken noodle/pad kee mao.
Douglas P — Google review
The country style curry is amazing! I’ve never tasted such deep flavor in the broth of a Thai dish. I got mine with a little extra spice. And the family that runs the restaurant are all personable and kind, especially Mom!

Great Thai restaurant! The owners are super sweet and helpful. Everything here looked so delicious and ultimately I chose the green curry. I asked for it spicy and it did not disappoint. It was refreshing and filled me up just right. I also ordered the mango sticky rice which was absolutely delicious. The mango slice was generous and perfectly ripe that balance well with the rice! 10/10 would return anytime :)!

Absolutely phenomenal! Thai House in Palm Springs delivers authentic flavors that transport you straight to Thailand. Every dish bursts with freshness, from the perfectly balanced Pad Thai to the rich, aromatic curries. The portions are generous, the presentation is beautiful, and the service is warm and attentive. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot for both casual dinners and special occasions. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Palm Springs — I can’t wait to come back!

My wife loves Thai food. I've never had it. The place was small but clean, other people sitting in were chatting away quietly, nice atmosphere. Our server was friendly and she was quick. I had the yellow curry with chicken, my wife had the veggie fried rice with shrimp and we had the egg rolls for an appetizer. It was all really really good. We couldn't finish our food and our server packed it all for us nicely. We live down the street and we will be back.

If you're on the hunt for authentic Thai flavors, look no further than Chada Thai Cuisine. This charming eatery offers a delightful array of traditional dishes, including the zesty tom yam seafood soup and the beloved pineapple fried rice that captures the essence of Thailand. Although currently limited to takeout due to some maintenance work, patrons rave about their experiences with flavorful options like Kra prow chicken and panang curry paired with refreshing Thai tea.
I got the vegetarian yellow curry and thought it was very tasty and fresh — the vegetables were especially very fresh. The food was ready on time. The steamed mixed veggies were also great!

Very organic like style Thai where you get what you expect with no frills. Excellent price for the quality. As a medical worker in the proximity in need of a hot lunch or dinner at high quality and a good price i pick this place as number one in the area. Fast and easy. SOO tasty. And i got two sides and a meal for below 30 bucks.

Food was delicious, they didn't have peoples working so i think it was just the owner made us the food to go

Love this place! The food is thoughtfully elegant without being over the top on hot and spicey unless you want it that way. The cups of soup are delicious and perfect compliment to main dishes. Not the place to dine if in a hurry as food is cooked to order, and takes longer to expedite than larger scale restaurants. But totally worth the wait! They do offer delivery if you prefer to eat at home.

This restaurant only allowed take out, which was ok. I ordered #28, Sweet Basil Thai with regular chicken, and I requested “mild or not spicy”. I ordered it with a side of white rice and a thai iced tea. It turned out to be one of the best meals that I have had this year so far at any restaurant! Really tasty. The lady who helped me was nice, polite and kind. Highly recommended!

Had yellow curry tofu and peanut sauce spinich and tofu. Peanut sauce was much sweeter than I'm used to. Vegetables were reasonably fresh. Service was acceptable. Finishing with an pineapple ice cream was pleasant. A low key interior and meal. An inexpensive meal that was enjoyable.

Father's day 2025. TAKE OUT ONLY. We ordered to go once we got there they had "no table service." Gave us plates and set-up's to go back to our motel room. The food was delicious Tom Kah chicken, chicken satay, Asparagus and mushroom beef, Spicy eggplant and pork and white rice. But a let down because we could not eat in the restaurant.

Delicious! Ordered the Pad See Ew, Mixed Vegetables, Tom Kha soup and the Garden Rolls with Shrimp. EVERYTHING was flavorful and delicious. Good portion sizes. Server was very kind and attentive. Would absolutely go back! Pictured: half-eaten Pad See Ew with Chicken

Laotian restaurant
Fuzion Five is a vibrant restaurant that offers a menu filled with traditional Vietnamese and Lao dishes in a relaxed setting adorned with colorful decor. The restaurant takes inspiration from the shared culinary heritage of Vietnam and Laos, infusing each dish with distinct flavors and aromas using authentic cooking methods and innovative presentation. By utilizing fresh ingredients, Fuzion Five aims to tantalize all five senses, creating an unforgettable dining experience.
This was absolutely fantastic. I loved every thing about this restaurant. My friends brought me here for dinner. The food was off the hook fantastic I would absolutely come here again on my next trip to Palm springs. One of the best Vietnamese places I've ever eaten at.
Joe F — Google review
Food was satisfying, the Bahi Mi was delicious (per my friend) the fried rice could of used more spices and soy sauce. The fresh spring rolls were refreshing. The staff joked about putting the peanut sauce on the spring rolls when she’s HIGHLY allergic, I get it was a joke, but it’s life threatening, come on. It’s a good location with parking across the street and right in downtown palm springs so nice for walking around.

A must-try fusion gem in Palm Springs! We visited Fuzion Five as part of Dining with The Davids—a local culinary group where a rotating crew of food lovers (aka “Taste Buds”) come together to experience multi-course meals at standout restaurants across the Coachella Valley. At the end of each event, everyone votes on their favorite dishes—and the results are turned into a short video to spotlight the best bites. Fuzion Five was an absolute standout! While they’re well known for their pho, we were blown away by the creativity and flavor of the rest of the menu. The Pork & Chicken Egg Rolls took top appetizer, with their crispy texture and sweet garlic dipping sauce. For entrées, the Chicken Curry Noodles were the clear winner—layered with warming spices, herbs, and that signature Lao-Vietnamese richness. And dessert? Don’t leave without trying the Fried Cheesecake with ginger caramel and ice cream—it’s next-level delicious. The staff was incredibly welcoming, the presentation was beautiful, and the flavors felt both nostalgic and elevated. Can’t wait to return for more—and to feature their pho next time! Highly recommend for anyone seeking authentic Southeast Asian flavors with a modern twist.

We have eaten at this restaurant several times and I just can’t give it better than 3 stars overall because of the poor service. The food is fairly good, and they have a lot of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu, but we get frustrated with the extremely slow and inattentive service. They really could use a few more staff to help out. Prices are fair and food portions are good. The place lacks ambiance, also, but it is fairly clean. I would recommend it for the good menu and good food, but be prepared to wait.

Excellent stop for a late lunch. Fresh flavorful food, nice people and a clean restaurant. My family really enjoyed Fuzion Fibe.

I love this place First time in my while life to dine in and the servers greeted ne "Happy Friday". They are so nice. I love the food. Everythinh is small serving though. Food is always expensive here in Palm Spring because of limited resources. But I love everything about this place. The food, the ambience, people and parking. They have plenty at the back of the building. Will come back for sure

Came in with my son for lunch while visiting the city. The atmosphere is nice - blue cloud ceiling w paper lanterns was pretty but the food was ok. I had the spicy tofu & asked for medium heat & it was so spicy that I had tears in my eyes, and the flavor of the dish was just ok, aside from the red pepper flakes, not much flavor. CC accepted

Jelly Donut is a cozy spot in the high desert, recommended by locals for its Vietnamese cuisine. The pho is a popular choice, with some finding it satisfying and others praising it for redeeming their previous experiences with the dish. In addition to pho, they also offer brown sugar-based boba drinks and phenomenal donuts. The friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere make it a pleasant place to dine. They also boast a 400-year-old chili oil recipe.
For being the only pho spot in 29, it’s actually really good and we look forward to bowls when the weather is right. The buns they use for their bahn mi’s are a little weird but still work somehow. Donuts are great too if you catch em before they sell out. Cash only in here with an ATM inside.

Had the Pho King and Dumplings tacos. Great food, you'd never know it was here as the only Pho spot in 29 Palms. More options of food, but I'll save it for another time. Come by and try it out, and they also do pastries!!! Highly recommend!
Stephen M — Google review
I think my hopes were too high since most locals speak so highly of this establishment. It’s not bad. Very average. The donuts are WAY better than the pho. Wasn’t impressed with the pho at all actually. Lacked flavor. I’d recommend only going for the donuts
Maya M — Google review
I did not expect to eat Pho in Joshua Tree, but when my Vietnamese girlfriend saw this place we had to try it. A place called Jelly Donut… selling pho… in Joshua Tree?? Well, the pho is genuinely very good and a large portion; I was pleasantly surprised. The banh mi was solid as well. The place is Cash only but has an ATM inside. Owner was very friendly and the food came fast. No complaints. Highly recommend stopping by for a great meal.
Tim W — Google review
Pretty good pho. They have a vegan friendly pho that’s served with veggie broth. For those avoiding dairy, I would not recommend their iced coffees, they all contain dairy and unable to opt for black.
Amy — Google review
While the food is decent, the service is absolutely horrible and the hit or miss hours make it impossible to plan to eat there unless you basically get lucky driving by while they’re open. I’ve eaten there 6-7 times and I don’t think I’ve ever had a positive experience with the staff. They seem to genuinely want you not to be there and act like your presence is a bother. Special shoutout to the girl at the front who sighs loudly every time you order as if you really caught her off guard by ordering food in a restaurant. Their hours are wholly inconsistent. They appear to close at will, and I’ve tried to go there multiple times to be turned around by a handwritten sign on the door saying they’ve closed inside of their posted hours. I’ve also been told they won’t take my order because it’s within 30 minutes of their lunch time. I apologize, I didn’t know I couldn’t order food while your open if it’s not the specific time you’re allowing me to order food. I’m genuinely excited for some other Vietnamese donut/pho options to open in town. It appears complacency in no competition has turned this place into a complete drag. I won’t be trying it any longer.
CO ( — Google review
The owner updates the menu frequently, very generous portions and excellent food! I really enjoy the chicken and rice, the wife enjoys the beef and brisket wontons and fries, and my daughter craves the pho! The new brisket chili hotdogs are literally the best I’ve had in the US! Don’t skip this when you’re in town! (The photos of the brisket chili cheese dog was 1/4 of what it came with, the chicken and rice, the wonton fries brisket dish and the last photo was the birria egg rolls) egg rolls were great as well!
Nigel H — Google review
This was a cute place to relax and recuperate. Very friendly staff and great pho. Donuts are also phenomenal. A little pricey but for the middle of the desert, I was pleasantly surprised. The also claim their chili oil recipe is over 400 years oil, Which is pretty neat. Side note: bring cash because hot food is cash only.

Panda Express is a beloved fast-food chain that brings the flavors of American-Chinese cuisine to diners in Palm Springs. Known for its convenient and flavorful offerings, this popular eatery features a diverse menu with fan-favorites like Orange Chicken, Beijing Beef, and Kung Pao Chicken. For those looking to spice up their meal, the new Firecracker Shrimp promises an exciting mix of fresh veggies and succulent shrimp.
I went 30 minutes after they open, so the place was pretty clean which I like to see if eating at a restaurant. The staff welcome every person that walk through the door. A little stingy with the portion sizes, the flavor of the food wasn’t up to par. Nothing special about this Panda Express, a typical panda experience.
Simon P — Google review
In Cathedral City This Panda Express is particularly close enough to my daily commute areas. Having said so the drive thru is a once and a while venture of mine & in this occasion I do want to mention the fact that employees need to keep their cool when talking to customers & not let the stress build up, agitation nor pressure overall of working (it is food preparation not brain surgery). ⭐ Minus 1 star because of the way I was talked to + ⭐ Minus 1 star my food order which was To Go Had a smaller portion than normal (I would know I come here regularly) Key Facts - The inside of the restaurant will be at least at an 85° while enjoying your hott noodles and orange chicken 🔥 I have found however employees try the best they can to deliver the customer satisfaction needed to each individual. I say this because I was given the exact amount of sauces that was needed in order for me to enjoy my meal as well as knowing the drink order by having them labeled with the button pressed down on the soda lids.

This place did not give us the walnut shrimp. We went there for that. they want her to come back it’s 8 miles round trip in 109 degrees weather.

Seriously my food was cold and my portions were tiny usally panda is known for its decent portion sizes and somewhat fresh food i feel like they were out of what I ordered and I got old cold food rather than ask me to wait. This had happened at this location too many times so now ill leave this review. Do better too expensive to not be full after small cold gross.
Chris J — Google review
Drive thru wait time was amazingly long. It shouldn’t be an option if it’s going to take 30+ minutes to get thru it. I still had to wait in the parking lot for my food after paying. Fastest service was processing my payment.

Panda Express is always good, but there's always one thing I hate these Panda Express. Is that when they serve my item with there (measured)spoon and they grabbed the orange chicken to put it on the plate..they will take it off. Again.. measured spoon

So, this place used to be great, I wonder what happened. Many times the drive thru has been rude because I check my food before I drive away. Well when I don't check it I get burned double teriyaki chicken. This is not a double portion and its inedible. So disappointed.

Yucca Kabob is a popular spot, especially for those visiting Joshua Tree National Park. Despite the crowds and some delays in service due to short staffing, the food was well worth the wait. The Mediterranean dishes like falafel wraps, vegetarian platters, kofta kebab plates, and gyro sandwiches were all highly praised for their delicious flavors and generous portions. The restaurant may not look impressive from the outside but it offers a clean environment with friendly staff.
Stopped in for a quick bite. I expected okay food, but what we got was exceptional. We ordered the family maza so we could try a little of several appetizers. My wife ordered the Greek salad for her main, and I ordered the gyro shawarma. Everything was VERY good. I am recommending this restaurant to all of my friends.
David A — Google review
Food was very delicious and filling. It was tasty and flavourful. However, we arrived on a Tuesday at 7:40 PM and we were told that we were unable to be served on plates and had to dine-in with takeout containers and plastic cutlery. We were surprised by this because the restaurant closed at 9 PM. Also, the server was a bit dismissive and never checked in with us. Overall would be an excellent place to order takeout.

A hidden gem in the middle of the desert! This place had delicious hummus, one of the best we’ve ever had. The main kabob plate was very filling, and everything was seasoned very well — the chicken and beef were cooked to perfection! Highly recommend.

Food tasted not terrible, but also not even okay. Everything was too much, but in a bad way. Lemon soup is too sour, the kebab was too dry, and everything else was too salty.

It’s UNBELIEVABLE this is not a 5.0 stars and it’s a 4.6 currently. This is 100% the best kabobs my wife & I have ever had manyyy kabaobs andhave even been to Greece and this is the best kabob I’ve ever had. We were stopping by on a road trip and wow. Kiyosaku Restaurant is a charming gem that has been delighting diners for over 40 years, starting its journey as the first Japanese eatery in a humble trailer park. Now nestled in the Plaza Del Sol Shopping Center, it continues to serve up authentic and mouth-watering Japanese cuisine. The restaurant boasts an inviting ambiance reminiscent of traditional Japan, complete with beautiful decor and warm hospitality from its owners.
Outstanding. Old School. Traditional. Whatever you want to call a classic sushi experience, this is it. The quality of the fish was the best I have had - and I have eaten at many sushi bars across the country. As you would expect for this quality of fish and experience, it is NOT cheap; it IS worth every penny. It is also a pleasure to eat somewhere that is family owned and operated for over 35 years, with the skills to go with it. Excellent experience - you won't forget it.
William J — Google review
I've been eating Japanese food my whole life and was so disappointed in this place. Sukiyaki was good but plain and expensive. Service was bad. We had to call the gaijin waitress over just to get our miso and salad after our friends were served their starters. Also, she completely missed our 2nd order of beer. There's a lot of competition for Japanese food so I don't think I'll be coming back or recommending it to others.
Matt C — Google review
I had an amazing dish at this sushi restaurant, so I would have to take issue with those who wrote bad reviews. The tuna in grapefruit was the best I've ever had, and the service was personable and simply delightful. I like the Mom and Pop kind of place, and this one is superb in their ambiance, Japanese dress and decor. You could find yourself in a place just like this along the coast somewhere in Japan, I swear. Anyway, it's the best Sushi in Southern California, so check it out and judge for yourself.
Barba K — Google review
The dining experience is undoubtedly authentic, and it's always nice to see a family owned business. But the sushi here was mediocre at best, with mostly the rice to blame. The consistency of the rice was so wet and soft that the nigiri would fall apart even before reaching my mouth... The only dish I was able to enjoy was the sukiyaki.
Delilah K — Google review
This is by far the best sushi restaurant in the desert. Kiyo uses only the best and freshest ingredients but beware, there is a price tag attached. His special grapefruit teems with beautiful raw fish and a generous piece of king crab. His California roll is made with a whole crab leg but don’t order this if you can’t bring yourself to pay $35. This is not the place to order individual pieces of sushi but rather hear out the daily specials and recommendations. DO NOT attempt to change the menu or ask for substitutions. Kiyo runs a traditional restaurant. Read the back of the small menu and you will understand his explanation. Keeping with tradition, they are closed on Wednesday and now have added another day off with Tuesday. It is small with limited seating so arrive early. And hurry as retirement is just around the corner.
Randall R — Google review
This was undoubtedly the worst experience I've had in a sushi bar. The chef is so proud of what he's serving that it gets in the way of the obvious lack of talent. The grapefruit special is an overpriced, underdelivering, waste of money. My wife ordered a Katsu meal that was prepared like an omelet over rice. With a side of what they called gravy. This place is terrible. Don't waste your time or money. I left spending $70.00 to go have dinner somewhere else. Rediculous! !!!!
Matt T — Google review
I grew up in PS but I have lived in Japan for the past 25 years. Kiyosaku is definitely the most authentic sushi in town. The downside is they do not serve non-Japanese sushi (spider rolls, dynamite rolls, caterpillar rolls, etc), which is what I want to eat when I come to town. If the real thing is what you are after, then this is the place. Their current location is less than 100 yards from the their original location, which was in the middle of a former mobile home park about 40 years ago, where I ate sushi for the very first time.
Mark S — Google review
At this present time, Kiyosaku may be the most Japanese of Japanese restaurants in the Coachella Valley, at least to gourmands with "purist" aesthetics. Kiyosaku will not please those who only want California style "ROLLS" such as ones with such outrageous ingredients such as Philadelphia Cream Cheese, or Rainbow Roll with 5 different kinds of fish that are not compatible. It's kind of like eating pickled herring, pigs feet, liverwurst, salami, & pastrami all in one sandwich. Maybe Dagwood Bumstead would like that combo. Meister Sushi Chef Kiyoshi has trained many years in Kappo- Ryo-ri which is traditional Japanese cuisine which generally tries to emphasize the very flavour of the ingredient presented so that over saucing & over seasoning, & over processing is considered antithetical to the Japanese food aesthetic. Chef Kiyoshi, himself, mentioned that he wants his dishes to be "bimyo-"/delicate with subtle nuances of flavour. His food is meant to be reflected upon & savoured slowly w/ "active" sensory perception of sight, smell, taste, hearing, tactile sensations upon chewing a food item. This is not the type of food you just gulp down without much thought as to what the food is trying to convey. In certain ways, his style & philosophy toward food is very similar to Master Chef Urasawa at his eponymous restaurant in Beverly Hills. There is a quality not quantity approach that is not subscribed to by most of us Americans. Maybe we have been too brain washed with Super Sizing. The inside is small with a limited number of seats at the Sushi bar so dining there early or late as I did around 9 pm on a Sunday may be the way to go to guarantee not having to wait too long. 1) Amaebi (ah mah eh bee) or sweet shrimp. The meat was pinkish white with highlight of red along the edges of the shrimp. Surface texture was smooth, velvety, supple that made it easy to flow into the waiting mouth. Once the teeth hit the shrimp, the flesh gave more resistance & had a slightly stringy, meaty, dulcet quality along with a soupcon of fresh ocean minerality. I asked the Chef for some Yuzu Kosho-, which is a puree made from the zest of the Yuzu or Japanese Citrus, piquant green chiles, sea salt, touch of white pepper, to put on my Amaebi. Touch of Yuzu Kosho- adds a nice aroma of white pepper, lime-grapefruit citrus, and the chile adds a slight heat to accentuate and add contrast to the purity of the sweet shrimp. However, although Chef Kiyoshi did comply to my request, he winced since he is ever the purist. 1a) Tempura style Amaebi shrimp heads were especially large with a crispy texture that varied to a softer crunch depending on what part of the head it was. Again there was a taste of sea minerality but amplified into more of a meaty sweet funkiness. The bonus was that there was bright red roe embedded in the heads to add even more of a rich cholesterol driven meaty fattiness to up the savoriness. I dipped the heads into a sauce that I made on site by using lemon juice with the slice of lemon provided, Yuzu Kosho-, and a touch of Sho-yu. I'm sure that made the Chef wince again, but chose not to look up at him. I have had many Tempura Amaebi heads, but this is the first time in years that I have had Amaebi roe which proves to me that Chef Kiyoshi is very aware of the subtleties of the fine details in Japanese cuisine. 2) Alaskan King Crab leg Sushi: Crab boiled in salt water & nothing else. I ate it as is w/ no application of Sho-yu/soy sauce so as to enjoy the pure flavour of the crab itself. Portion is generous, but it should be since the price of these morsels were extravagant. I really enjoy coming to the desert to sample more of Meister Chef Kiyoshi's Sushi legerdemain challenging me w/ new dishes from his wide sophisticated Kappo- repertoire. He imparts great hospitality if you can convey your appreciation on the fine points of his refined culinary style. 5 supreme stars in the middle of the Sonoran Desert.

The menu features a blend of East and West flavors, with standout dishes like bacon fried rice and coconut-infused tuna tartare. Guests can enjoy good food, generous portions, and well-priced cocktails while soaking in the comfortable vibe.
This was such a great poolside bar. It’s located inside the Sonder V hotel and the drinks are great. My favorite cocktail from Elixir is the watermelon splash. It was super refreshing and the bartender was really nice. When I was there, they were only serving drinks so we didn’t get to try the food

It's nice enough and the bartenders are great but the prices are incredibly high. $9 for a can of beer!! They could really be doing a robust service but are losing lots of opportunities and it's so easy to see why. Lots of things need fixing in rooms and around hotel and they don't meet expectations for the price you're paying. Shocking really. From construction noise to no hot water 1 day, dirty floors, sticky counter tops, have to pay for maid service, no dresser for your clothes (so inconvenient). It could be a really nice place but it's just not there unfortunately.
Robert D — Google review
Spent a weekend afternoon there and was very happy with everything. Food and cocktails were very good, with large portions and appropriate prices. They had a DJ playing music in the afternoon that was enjoyable (my 60 year old parents even enjoyed it), and a day pass for the pool (I wasn't a hotel guest) was only $20 while other pools in the area were double that or more. Will definitely be back next time I am in PS.

Had dinner at the pool with my wife . We had ordered $41 of food and we never received it. Came to find out that the cook had left for the night. The lady at the bar had said she was going to reimburse me. Still waiting after 8 days and no reimbursement. I can’t even get a hold of anyone there. Their phone number here is not a working number. Just read another comment of a lady that got $400 taken from her. What’s going here be carful.

This is a lesson to always check your credit card statement. Imagine my surprise when I checked my statement and saw that these jokers increased my bill from $380 (including tax and gratuity) to $435. I always keep a copy of my receipts so I can confirm that this is a complete after-the-fact markup. Shady.
