Pub
The Blue Bell is a vibrant pub with a cheerful beer garden, offering a variety of pub food, real ales, and craft beers. It prides itself on being a lively music pub with an emphasis on vegan junk food and relaxed vibes. The space hosts live music events featuring diverse genres and also offers spoken word evenings. Located near Conwy Castle, the pub's menu consists entirely of vegan dishes that are highly praised for their quality.
Nice pub right on one of the main streets in the heart on Conway . Service was great and a nice beer selection to choose from . Really quiet on the afternoon that we visited but that suited just fine on this particular occasion. They have a large beer garden in the back with plenty of umbrellas but we chose the cozy interior for this visit.

Have been visiting this pub for years when visiting family in Wales. Always been a pleasure visiting this pub, staff all friendly. First time visiting after new ownership, place is still great with good atmosphere. Outdoor seating now includes wooden cabins that offers alternative seating options when visiting. Found several retro gaming machines in the outside seating area when we were just about to leave, fantastic addition 😁. Keep up the good work 👏

I was looking for a dog friendly place in the area and I'm extremely glad I stumbled upon this place. Some of the best service I've received in recent memory. Not only where they all very accommodating to my do and others, they .also kindly cooked him a couple of sausages for a small when I had lunch. My fish and chips was exquisite. Generous portion and good light batter. Not sure which beer or ale they used but it was delicious. Great experience all round.

We went for an afternoon of drinking and catching up with friends. Great beer garden with plenty of seating and umbrellas, great atmosphere and the staff were great. Will visit here again 😁

Friendly pub and staff, great food, fair pricing. Great live music on the weekends.. comfortable place to enjoy a pint, some food and good music. Highly recommended. 😊
Mrmineshaft — Google review
We were looking for somewhere for food and noticed this pub had a beer garden. Turned out to be a great find as the food was very good and the outside area had lots of tables. Outside they have a covered verrandah and tables with umbrellas. There are some games machines for the kids and some pitch and putt practice bits. Between us we had the enormous Double Chicken burger and fries with homemade coleslaw and a club BLT sandwich. Parking outside and around the area is restricted, when we visited you could park for 60mins during the day.

Wouldn't show the Wales world cup women's rugby game, choosing to panda to the tourists. Update: apologies for trying to get on the wales team over one guy watching the football. Your business you do what you want, but I'm just disappointed. Good shout on ordering more sky boxes.

Lovely little pub and what a beer garden! Had lovely food, had fish and chips and wife had the steak melt, good honest home cooked food with no frills just plentyof it, nice hospitality from young girl behind the bar, will return soon,

Pub
The Cottage Loaf is a charming inn located in the heart of Llandudno, offering a cozy atmosphere and a delightful dining experience. With its rustic wooden beams, crackling open fires, and antique furniture, it embodies the essence of a traditional Welsh country pub. The bar boasts an impressive selection of Cask Marque ales, including house ales and guest ales, as well as cask cider.
This place hasn’t earned its top rating by accident! ⭐ First off, it’s right in the heart of the city — proper central. Then there’s the interior — cosy and rustic, like an old countryside cottage, and the summer terrace is just lovely ☀️🌿 The staff? Super polite and know their stuff. And the food? Absolute flavour bomb! 💥🍽️ The portions aren’t massive, but they’re just right. Plus, the wine and drinks menu is huge — you’ll definitely find something that hits the spot. They’ve got local beers on tap and some banging signature cocktails too 🍷🍸 Prices are totally fair. Highly recommend popping in if you’re about! 🙌
Alina V — Google review
Visited The Cottage Loaf and was really impressed overall. The staff were excellent — friendly, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. The presentation of the dishes was spot on, with a great garnish that really elevated the plate visually and in flavour. I had the steak pie, which was phenomenal in taste — rich, hearty filling with perfectly cooked meat. However, the pastry on the sides was a let-down, being incredibly tough and almost indelible, which took away slightly from an otherwise standout dish. Still, a lovely spot with a warm atmosphere and great service.
Courtney R — Google review
What a gorgeous pub! The decor and vive was great and the staff were so friendly. The food was amazing, I wish I could have tried more if the menu, but the portions were too generous for that. The drinks menu is extensive and varied.
Charlotte “ — Google review
We had a great experience here and would definitely come back! I ordered the lamb shoulder, which was absolutely exquisite. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and the gravy was rich and delicious, though I would’ve loved a bit more of it (can never have too much gravy!). The only thing I wasn’t keen on was the red cabbage, it was a bit too sweet and overpowering for my taste. Otherwise, the dish was perfect. My partner had the steak and ale pie, which was packed with meat and full of flavour. The pie crust could’ve used a little more seasoning, and I wasn't too keen on the texture but overall it was a hearty and satisfying dish. The outdoor seating area is lovely, especially for dog owners, dogs are welcome outside and they even have water bowls available, which is a great touch. Just a note: dogs aren’t allowed inside. The staff were friendly, though not especially attentive. It would have been nice to have someone check in on us during the meal. Also, table service rather than ordering at the bar would make the experience feel a bit more welcoming. Despite a few small things, we had an amazing time. Great food, a relaxed atmosphere, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Truly Memorable Meal at The Cottage Loaf We had the absolute pleasure of dining at The Cottage Loaf in Llandudno, and from start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. I ordered the braised lamb accompanied by creamy dauphinoise potatoes, tender braised carrots, peas, and green beans—and every bite was bursting with flavour. The lamb was melt-in-your-mouth tender, rich and perfectly seasoned, while the vegetables were fresh, vibrant, and beautifully cooked. For dessert, I opted for the apple pie with custard, and my wife Kath had the same but served with vanilla ice cream. Both were absolutely divine—homemade, warm, and comforting. A perfect ending to a flawless meal. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming, and the service was friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. We left feeling full, happy, and already planning our next visit. If you're in Llandudno, The Cottage Loaf is a must-visit—fantastic food, great ambiance, and truly memorable dining. Highly recommended!
STEVEN A — Google review
Big pub, front out door seating area, back of the pub also has seating area. Big inside. Dogs are not allowed inside but are in both outdoor seating areas. The outside seating at the back, isn't big and the tables are big, most people who sit here, are twos. We tried a variety of starters and nibbles, as we didn't want to a full meal. Food was edible, but lacked flavour and taste, I prefer the Abode for the nibbles and starters selection. Other food on the menu is nice and good. Can be expensive for what it is. Great place to chill, relax and enjoy the sun. Only down fall is, no table service. If you're on your own with a dog, you'd not be able to go inside to order due to no dogs (I did ask this question and it was a no). Apart from that, it's a good place to go.

Food is consistently good 8/10 times. Somewhat expensive for relatively cheap type food. Menu seems to vary from unusual meals to boring pub grub. Staff are always helpful

The Erskine Arms, located in Conwy, is a traditional pub and restaurant offering a warm and inviting atmosphere with classic furnishings. It's the perfect place to relax after exploring Conwy's attractions. The menu features homestyle pub fare as well as seasonal specials inspired by global cuisine, all made with locally sourced ingredients including fresh seafood from North Wales. Originally known for sports, it was transformed into a family-friendly pub focused on food in 1997.
Absolutely amazing food and even better staff. We booked on the day for a table of 6. When we arrived we were greeted very warmly and given an appropriate table. 2 people from our party were not able to eat pork or beef however the accommodated them by allowing them to order a wrap which is typically served under the lunch menu. All the food we ordered was amazing and perfectly cooked. And again if i am ever back in the area would definitely go again.

We had a meal in the dog friendly lower bar. Great atmosphere. Food was absolutely spot on. Really delicious and hot. We had a delicious Korean meat starter followed by a risotto and bacon chop. Good portion size. A good selection of dishes on the menu. We hadn’t booked but quickly got a table.

Beautiful pub in Conwy. We had the roast beef brisket! Absolutely top notch!! Best roast beef dinner we've had out!! We've travelled extensively over the UK and this made the No 1 roast dinner for us!! We also had starters of halloumi and pork bites. Both were amazing flavour combos too!! Staff were pleasant and we would definitely return!!

Best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had. Great staff really friendly and helpful. Fast service. Reasonably priced. Lovely little find on our weekend away in Wales would defo recommend the beef Sunday dinner!
Hayley B — Google review
10/10 service. So good I am sat in the pub writing this immediately after our meal! We came in just after food service ended after a 30 minute journey from the middle of nowhere to find some dinner. Staff let us order even after service was meant to end and food was with us in under 10 minutes and was delicious. Cannot recommend enough- the young woman in pink and young man behind the bar in blue were incredibly helpful.
Abi T — Google review
The food was very nice traditional British food but turned into fine dining, very good drinks options from ale to sprits. A barista style coffee machine for good end to the meal.
Jake N — Google review
I actually ate at the restaurant downstairs. Fantastic. Genuinely, really good food. I had a roast and it was really good. Only fault I'd say is that there wasn't a choice of rare/medium rare/well done on the beef. However, it was still very nice nonetheless. Although, I do prefer my beef much more pink. Will gladly return when in the area again!

Bar
Nestled in the charming town of Conwy, the Bank of Conwy is a delightful transformation from its former life as an HSBC bank into a vibrant bar that locals adore. This unique venue boasts an impressive selection of craft beers, real ales, cocktails, and fine wines, all served within the stunning confines of a Grade II listed building. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming—perfect for those looking to unwind with friends over light bites rather than indulge in a full sit-down meal.
Nice place with a good choice of beers. Lots of different styles including some local options. We didn't eat but the food we saw looked good 👀

Visited with my young son as he was thirsty, everywhere was closing and we were waiting for our train. Inside it was quiet, I was served straight away, the bar lady was really nice. Prices were reasonable and I'd definitely recommend the Farmhouse Pyder they had on tap from Gwynt Y Ddraig. It was delicious.
Simon M — Google review
The transformation of a former bank into a vibrant food and drink establishment is truly remarkable. It offers a distinctive and captivating ambiance, providing a unique place to unwind and enjoy oneself. The toasties served here are exceptionally delightful, crafted with love and care. What makes this place even more intriguing is the downstairs area, which was once the bank's vault. It has been ingeniously repurposed as a seating area, lending a cool and atmospheric vibe. It also serves as a "jail cell" for the alcoholic drinks, adding a playful touch to the experience. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the wide selection of draft beers is simply unparalleled. I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this extraordinary establishment.

Varnish on table surfaces was soft and sticky. It gave me the feeling that everything needed a good clean. I wouldn’t eat there again, but ok for a drink. Friendly staff.

Nice pub in a bank building, the vault was downstairs and has been converted to sitting areas. The bank manager's office is a nice sitting area too. Looks like a locals hangout and dog friendly. The burger and pulled pork sandwich were good.

Was walking around, trying to find a place to eat, which catered for not only a vegetarian diet but for kids too.. We then came across this gem. Art deco was pretty cool and the vibe was so welcoming and friendly. Amazing for food, great options for "little 'un's" (kids) too! Staff were lovely, food was hot, fresh and fast. -In love with the pub dog, who was incredibly cute! So, this establishment was dog friendly too which is a nice touch! Definitely worth visiting whilst around the area.

Nestled in the charming town of Conwy, George & Dragon is a quintessential British pub that invites you to indulge in a delightful array of classic dishes and sweet treats. With an impressive selection of beverages ranging from beers and wines to cocktails and low/no alcohol options, there's something for everyone. Whether you're seeking refuge indoors or prefer the fresh air of their beer garden, this welcoming establishment operates rain or shine.
Stopped by for a meal before walking to Morfa Conwy beach. Sat outside in their lovely beer garden and enjoyed the burgers. We got there just before the lunchtime rush so was a very pleasant and efficient service. Burgers were delicious! Will definitely be returning in the not too distant future.
Emma S — Google review
Edited review... The workers must have left the gate open because we walked in freely. They were super friendly and even showed us the door to walk thru. They did NOT say anything about renovations or tell us the pub was closed. They literally opened the door for us. When I walked by about 45 minutes later the signs were out front. I've edited the stars since I wasn't given the opportunity to enjoy the place but the woman could have been more cordial. That was our once in a life time trip to N Wales.
Marilyn S — Google review
Shocking.... we actually stopped going here as cannot move, VERY rude and useless staff. Went the other day second, third, fourth chance! SLIM RECTANGLE TABLES BY THE BAR. Not rocket science. Round tables, less people less seating, less profit. Beer needs a re think. Poor quality, generally warm. Flies everywhere. Could be the best, cheapest pub in Conwy, so disappointing. Needs a rethink, new manager, pleasant staff with customer focus and a cleaner.!!
Yvonne I — Google review
We came in here a few times while staying in Conwy and it was a lovely pub with a nice outside area! We got chatting to some people who lived not too far from us one of the last times we went in and the staff were friendly too. The last time we went in we ate and the food was great and had the two for £20 and paid extra for another meal. Me and my mom were going to have lasagna but they said it wasn’t homemade so didn’t bother in case it wasn’t that nice. I ended up having the scampi which was lovely and some of the best I’d had; my mom had fish and chips and my dad had the burger. All of which were great and lovely chips! Reasonable selection of beer on tap. Could do with some real ales though!
Stephanie F — Google review
Me and friends only had drinks here and sat in the beer garden which is clean and spacious with plenty of large tables, ideal for large groups of people who want to sit together. Empty glasses where swiftly removed and not left cluttering up the table unlike other establiments . Will definitely be visiting again when I'm in the area . Oh and it's dog friendly as well.
Trevor C — Google review
Ordered my food + drinks at the bar, waited 20+ minutes get served as loads of people were pushing in front. Finally ordered, sat down received our food, it was lovely. After 5 bites a bird had done his business in my drink. I told the bar staff, not offered a new one on the house. Still had pay and had to wait another half hour.
Lucy M — Google review
Very cheap pints for the area, honestly though it has the most try hard quiz I've ever experienced in my 27 years on earth. Also not super impressed with the reception to when we were announced as out of towners by the quiz master, although I totally understand this isn't the fault of the pub owner. Locals could do better
Callum H — Google review
Waited over 30 minutes for food to arrive, the gammon was thin and not edible, tomato was burnt, and counted 12 chips, for the price the food was awful. Also the soft drinks were very expensive. Staff took ages to serve me also. Left very very disappointed. No one came and asked how the food was. Will not be returning even though we reside in Gwynedd. I don't recommend.

The Mulberry is a relaxed pub located at Conwy Marina, offering stunning views and a sophisticated environment. It features modern interior styling, real ales, and an eclectic menu of familiar comfort food. The pub is known for its family-friendly atmosphere and friendly service, making it a go-to spot in Conwy. With outdoor seating overlooking the marina, it's an ideal place to enjoy a meal with friends or even your dog.
We went to Conwy for a Day Trip to the Castle. Took the Marine walk to reach The Mulberry. The long walk is totally worth it. It has an amazing view - be it inside or outside. Blue sky, gentle breeze, harbour view, and cold Beer - what else do you need? The interior is great. (A point I cannot resist to say - their toilet was so clean and well decorated - it looked like a posh hotel toilet. I am amazed). I tried Peri peri Chicken Skewer. And it won't be wrong to say it was one of the best foods I tried ever. The chicken was super soft - like melting inside the mouth. Keeping it so juicy and succulent is a mastery - hats off to the Chef. We were a group of 18. And everyone loved their food - be it Pasta, Fish & chips, or Pizza. The portion sizes were hearty. I love Welsh people. Here comes another reason for that.
M U — Google review
I rarely give low reviews but was quite disappointed at our last visit. In the past the food has been above average but on our last trip we found it cold, flavourless and poor quality. The place is worth a visit though, the view is stunning, there are lots of beautiful walks to it and the outside is dog friendly. I would just have a drink and avoid the food (although my wife was disappointed by her cocktail). The view and setting is doing a lot of the heavy lifting, if you’re after an average meal With stunning views this is the place for you, if you’re after a better quality meal stick to inside Conwy.

Part of a large party (21) Service was fantastic especially for our group size. Staff were friendly and polite and made a fuss of our little boy. Really enjoyed my mackerel starter. Roast was superb. Meat cooked really well, tasty veg and good roast potatoes. Desert was a little disappointing though not poor enough to spoil the meal. We will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.

The free Father's day pint was good and I enjoyed the view, however woe betide anyone ordering food as the person on the table ahead of me had to get up from his meal to fetch sauces and wotnot. It's not good to deliver food to a table and make a hasty escape without asking about or having sauces supplied at same occurrence as plates. Sorry just can't avoid noticing when other customers are having to get up and puts me on alert for my potential use of the restaurant.

Excellent short break at the Groes Inn. We wished we could have stayed longer. Cozy inn, room with a beautiful view! The sunset was amazing. Good pub menu, delicious food well presented. Staff friendly and highly efficient. Everything you could hope for in a traditional inn. Definitely recommend it.

Perfect position: relaxing countryside scenary and at the same time strategic to visit North Wales. Pet friendly and perfect for families. Interesting historical building with lots of different spaces and even a grapevine inside a sort of glass conservatory. Lots of parking spaces. Great staff: kind, always willing to help and friendly. Very good food and beer.

We didn't stay here- but came for Sunday lunch. It was a lovely place. Jane our waitress was friendly and really helpful. The food was fantastic- and the unlimited Yorkshire puddings and gravy made it even better- would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We came to the Groes a week or so ago for lunch. The location is beautiful and the food was gorgeous, highly recommend the salmon! Our waitress was so lovely and attentive, nothing was too much trouble, I think her name was Elise. I've recommended to family and friends as not often you get lovely food and such lovely service with a smile 😀

The room was well appointed, a supper comfy bed and the views were beautiful!! Ate both dinner with family in the evening and breakfast and both were excellent, staff friendly and the pub is so interesting with so much history. Our dog was very welcome too!

Lovely restaurant and food. Staff very attentive and helpful. Got the feeling not enough staff were on duty for everything that needed to be done. The supervisor in the restaurant was also problem solving in the Hotel. That doesn't work even though she was super efficient and good at her job. Phone rings most of evening when it shogo to an office. Set menu fabulous and would return.

It was only okay, in comparison to other places we'd been for dinner in the area. We'd had high expectations, as it was booked out the evening before. So do book in advance. I think only okay, as we were sat in a brightly lit room which was taken up with a large group, and the staff were really busy. If you do go, try for a table in the lovely area with fairy lights and foliage.
Karen D — Google review
We've visited this pub a few times recently, and the food has been consistently delicious. It's been recently renovated, adding to its charm. We've tried the shared Sunday roast as well as lunch—burgers and chips—and everything was fresh, full of flavour, and great value for money. The service is excellent, and the pub itself is a lovely country spot in a great location.

Had been told it was good, how wrong could that be. Good was a terrible under statement , we rocked on up to the very unassuming entrance and dining area, We were shown to our seat in the conservatory lean to. The staff were very attentive and that specialness was now beginning to show in attentiveness the staff forged. Very small menu but even so the choice was already hard as most were very appealing along with a special board choice. from the great staff to the amazing food and choice we en-counted we were had a great dine out thanks

Classic British food, great flavour combinations and the menu well thought out, with a nice wine selection. Fish skin wasn't crispy, which was a shame and the reason it wasn't 5*, but the rest was great. The custard tart was the real hero of the meal, and was absolutely heavenly. Service was very friendly.

Nice atmosphere. It’s cosy. Service was horrible. There were multiple service staff on site but they were not attentive or was not able action simple orders. Ordered 2 glasses of wine and it was not delivered till I asked. Ordered a bottle of still water that was not delivered as well. The worst part was the tap water bottle where the cap was mouldy. Ask for new bottle and again cap was mouldy. 3rd bottle was the same as well. Only highlight was the steak which was really well cooked. Definitely won’t be going back again.

We went here per the recommendation of our bed & breakfast nearby and were sure glad we did! This was in August 2022. Service: fast and friendly. Food: We got two courses (31.25 pounds at the early bird rate) and tried the salmon, chicken, cheese cake, and sticky toffee pudding. All of these dishes were super yummy, but the pudding might have been our favorite.

We're sure to eat at Watson's every time we visit Conwy. Their dishes are always perfectly seasoned and generally rich and full of deep flavour rather than lighter and fresh flavoured. Presentation is impeccable, definitely a wow factor when your food arrives They really know how to treat lamb and fish (as you'd hope from a restaurant in a Welsh coastal town) and desserts are to die for

Rhos On Sea/Penrhyn Bay Returning to another favourite and has not let us down. Excellent service, love the menu choices and ‘Light Bites’ menu. Tried the fish cakes and egg from the light bites menu delicious so obviously had room for that Belgian waffle 👍👍The Queens 8oz burger with those huge onion rings and a chipotle sauce went down really well with the guys 👏. Typical old local pub which has been extended and refurbished to a high standard. 10/10 👜 handbag restaurant review. Love it here 🥳

I was staying in Prestatyn and decided to visit Llandudno with my dog for the day. I have being to this pub before and had a good meal so decided this time to try the steak. Staff made us welcome and my dog received water and biscuits which was great because it kept her quiet. About 12mins and my steak came out and I was not amazed at the presentation of the meal. It was cooked medium as I requested and full of flavour. Thankyou to the team for our enjoyable experience and we shall be back.

Probably the best Gastropub locally. Consistently excellent - carefully crafted tasty meals. Convivial front of house in a relaxed modern ambience. Well done Chef and team; the Halibut was moist and flavoursome but the tempura samphire was an absolute revelation!

Would highly recommend The Queen's Head. I had lunch with 3 other family members. The drink selection for those drinking alcohol was huge. Beers, whisky's, gin's, cocktails. The food choices were equally varied to suit all. Between us we tried the Moroccan lamb shank, plaice fillet and pie. All looked good when served and were just as tasty. 😋 The service was speedy and the staff were all very friendly. Thank you for an enjoyable lunch.

Just a stone's throw from the stunning Bodnant Gardens, this traditional establishment has garnered praise for its friendly staff and cozy ambiance, complete with log fires that create an ideal setting for relaxation. Visitors have enjoyed delightful Sunday lunches here, featuring an array of fresh vegetables and various meat options that cater to all tastes.
Decided to have a drive out to The Bee Inn for Sunday lunch after a beach walk with the dogs & cant believe we haven’t been before!! Lovely little local village pub! Although small just the right amount of tables without being over crammed. Greeted with a warm welcome & a smile. Probably one of the best Guinness’s I’ve had & my partners larger tasted lovely & fresh Small menu but boy it packed a punch! We had starter, main & desert. Although not on the menu asked if it would be possible to have a trio of meats instead of just one & it wasn’t any issues at all. The food was absolutely outstanding!! The lamb just melted in your mouth!! The rhubarb crumble was out of this world! Fresh homemade food!! Staff were extremely welcoming & all made a fuss of the dogs (they even brought out some of the sausage stuffing for them - little personal touches like this make a massive impact) be awesome if they could offer a little doggy bowl of food for a little Sunday treat So happy we have found a pub that’s so welcoming, great food & dog friendly which is very hard to come by these days! We can’t wait to return to try out the other menus!! Well done to the owners & staff!

Amazing local pub! My sister and I took refuge here after a long day hiking and everyone was so lovely! They made us feel so welcome and instantly at home, not just the staff but the locals too! They made us food despite the kitchen being closed, even did some chicken for my dog! And the food was delicious!! Some of the best food ive ever had! Fantastic chef! Great prices too. Highly recommend to anyone visiting

Called at lunchtime today, Sunday, for a roast dinner. Ordered a Guinness given it was St. Patrick's Day, and excellent Guinness it was. The Welsh Lamb was delicious, as was everything accompanying it. If you have a large appetite I would consider a starter. We found this a very friendly establishment where we received impeccable service. Dog friendly, private car park to the rear. Open log fire 🔥.

Always absolutely lovely, and a special treat during lockdown. The owners are very nice, the coffee is rich and extremely well made, and the bakery products are just wonderful. Stay away from this Pub! My worst experience in a pub, the RUDE person behind the bar is the reason for it! She is RACIST, RUDE AND has NO MANNERS TO TALK to customers. AVOID AT ANY COST UNLESS YOU DON’T WANT TO SPOIL YOUR MOOD
Priyam G — Google review
Ye Olde Mail Coach, Conwy. A pub so rugged it makes a pirate’s beard weep. I strolled in during the pirate festival, air thick with rum, sea shanties, and cedarwood. A man, nay, a parrot-man, squawked wisdom at me through cider mist. They called me Sugar Snatch. My melon was ready to blow. The barmaid poured pints like ancient druids summoned fog. The gents’ smelled of regret and cinnamon urinal blocks. Rough and ready, Yes. The patrons, Radiant goblins of kindness. A badger hasn't been that happy since the great worm moon of ’84. I left possibly cursed, but smiling.

The Albion is one of the best spots for real ale in Conwy. The staff are knowledgeable and always happy to help, and the people in there were really nice – it’s got a proper friendly, welcoming feel. Marvelous pub in Conwy owned by a couple of local breweries. Great selection of ale and well kept as you can imagine. It's a lovely old building and interior too. This should be commended as far too many pubs these days are modernised at the expense of losing that special vibe of an old pub. It's got 3 rooms all with its own ambience. Lovely outside spot too. Friendly on both sides of the bar. Highly recommended for a pint if you're in Conwy 🍻

As one of the oldest traditional pubs in Conwy, it boasts a prime location just steps away from the quay and beaches, making it a favorite spot for both residents and visitors alike.
Nice pub with friendly people, they charged my phone twice and didn't take anything for charging. The pint of beer is 5£. Nice small fireplace. 25-30 seats inside, some tables outside. Some locals told me it is the nice sunset view in the summer. So it is a real pub for locals like it is. Thanks for this couple hours that I spent in here waiting for my train.

Update: remove a star. Went back there again and the pizza had peppers that had gone bad. They didn't have more peppers to redo it so gave my money back. Been there 3 times already. Love the swing jazz band playing there. I'm usually not a pizza person but it seemed to be a thing there, I decided to give it a go. We had 2 different flavours to share and despite none of them are the things I would order, they were really delicious. Crispy crust and very flavourful. I'd definitely have their pizza again. Mind you they stop serving pizza at 8pm! Went there again very recently and the pizza was still fantastic. Had vegetarian pizza and Greek pizza. I prefer the vegetarian one more.

We were looking to buy a good wine and luckily found this lovely little shop. The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and we ended up buying 2 wines and a port.
Magdalena — Google review
I spent about 15 minutes on Saturday afternoon perusing the excellent selection of wines, beers and ports, spirits etc.. My wife then discovered a seating area out the back. It was a sunny afternoon and we went out to find a table. There must have been about 80 people out there and we were lucky to grab the only vacant table and we spent a lovely couple of hours here. It is a very pleasant place to sit and have a drink with a top quality list of drinks to select from - both local and rich pickings from further afield. Prices were good, service was fine, if a little slow, but it was very busy, so no complaints. Everyone was friendly. We had the dog with us and he was made to feel welcome. The staff seemed genuinely dog friendly. The only criticism I could offer was that on the way out I heard the lady behind the counter addressing a young male member of staff in an inappropriate manner. Something about there being "Welsh cider because we are in Wales!", but she abruptly stopped as I appeared. The young lad looked crestfallen. I have actually owned and run a similar establishment a few years ago, so I appreciate that it can be stressful at times. I think a quiet word and a bit of training is needed...for the lady behind the counter. I will certainly return as the atmosphere was wonderful out the back and the selection of products in the shop was as good as you will see. The fact that the place was packed out speaks volumes.
PBM — Google review
Really disappointed. The wine was very good, lovely chat with the owner who was fantastic. However, visit was spoilt by a very rude member of staff on the way out. You have to walk through the shop and stock room to get to the garden, there were three of us in the party and the member of staff was walking the other way. Met at the doorway, she didn’t wait, I got a very curt instruction and the other two members of the party were stuck in the stock room, they both got a mouthful about how they shouldn’t be in there. Not sure what else they could do as she blocked the way out. Doesn’t take a lot to be kind to your customers!!

What a cracking find. Lovely little wine bar, wine shop, beer shop and beer garden! We are on holiday from Northumberland and just spotted the beer garden sign at the top of the window as we perused the high street. Thought we'd take a look and so glad we did. The beer garden is a little magic place of eclectic seating, flowering plants and with a very relaxing vibe. We enjoyed two lovely beers in the garden and bought a box full to take away 🍻

Michelle S — Google review
Took my partners order and then came back to tell me to order at the bar when the waiter was stood right there and could easily have brought my order out with my partners drink. Very odd service. Ordered a glass of wine and it was warm, warm glass and warm wine. I took it back in to let the young lady on the till know and she said the fridge was broken. A strange one, because everyone else's wine looked cold.. she obviously didn't want to pour me a new glass and offered me ice instead. Unfortunately this melted straight into the wine with it being so warm and made the whole experience rather pointless. It's not hard to take an order or serve wine from the fridge so we wondered why it was such a fail. Not impressed.
C S — Google review
Lovely little place but as the majority of the other reviews was also let down by the rude owner. A smile wouldn't go a miss. Maybe if she took some accountability of comments on here and learnt some customer service skills the reviews will look a little better. Just a suggestion🤷‍♀️. For one it isn't the customer's responsibility to find out the rude member of staff that is constantly mentioned on here, it's the managers to sort it out and address it 🤔

Great little find. Lovely pub with great outside seating area too. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Food is great and very reasonably priced. This will be my new local when staying at my caravan.
