It is sad to see this place loose its dignity. I gave it a try this morning with the hopes that it would feel different but the dishonesty was prevalent. I was not over charged but it felt wrong to hand me my food with unclean hands. Lastly, the kids did not like what I brought which seals the deal for me. Sorry.

Place is located next to the Clock Tower. Tourists are everywhere so the price is quite high. Pastries are mostly fresh, but not everything tastes super good. Close to the beach, promenade and old city all around you. Open even late in the evening.

Holy mother of Bakery! A friend who used to go here with his parents as a little child guided me here for a big girl bakery experience. I was here at 7 am (they seem to be open 24 hours) and had it all to myself. The guys were grumpy and I would be too if I had the late shift but the food was incredible. A Jaffa institution. Full of a huge selection of pastries and treats that are baked fresh in their brick ovens. I love their sambousaks and their donuts but in my opinion, they have the best toasts in the city!

The most expensive sandwich, the Bacon Egg and Cheese. It’s a fine sandwich, but for almost $20 (Basically 3 times the price of the USA) the biggest rip off I’ve ever experienced. The bagel is good. Little bit of cheese and the bit there is is pre melted and crispy. With only 2 pieces of soggy bacon and a fried egg. Genuinely trying to figure out why it costs this much. I would recommend get something else or just make it at home. I would be more willing to just quietly pay if it looked more like the photo lol.

What a great place in the heart of Tel-Aviv!! You can sit outside and do some people watching, or inside to escape the heat, or in the back patio if you want to smoke after your meal. Great and friendly staff, that was quick and not pushy. The bagels looked so good, so I had to try it and ordered a roast beef bagel. Slices of beef, slaw and a spicy mustard, on a bagel. Great sandwich! Could use some more beef, but the flavor combo, which is not new, was done correctly and it was delicious. Also had a Nola breakfast. Two eggs, salad, hash browns, cream cheese, avocado, and a bagel. The portion was generous and everything was good. Except for the hash brown. It was probably made in a large batch and than they cut and reheat the portion on a griddle. At least that's how it tastes. It was too dense and didn't have those classic pointy potato ends that crisp up when you fry it. I also got a Nola cocktail, with OJ, whiskey and honey. It was pretty good. Definitely a nice change from the classic mimosa or bloody Mary for breakfast. All in all, I would definitely come back here for brunch, or lunch, or anytime of the day.

We really liked the atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly, fast and professional. The food is extremely good, and you should definitely have a look at their patisserie before you blindly order something. .. For us this place was a wonderful start into the day.

Truly well done American style breakfast. I really enjoyed the biscuits! The bacon is actually well cooked and crispy. My wife had the hashbrowns which were also tasty but not exactly what I would expect. The desserts are the real reason to come to NOLA. We had the mud pie which was absolutely amazing.

Just wow. Best rugelach I’ve ever had. I was trying to be good and bought only that and an iced latte. The rest of the desserts and sandwiches looked delicious and picturesqly perfect. Chic and charming, there’s only outdoor seating with fans, in a cozy patio of a small side street, across a huge bougainvillea tree. Highly recommend and worth the hype! Oh and there’s outlets!

We paid 140 shekels for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. One was a bagel with the fish, the bagel was a few days old, like a stone. The fish was also not the freshest. Wonderful bakery in the picturesque Neve Tzedek neighborhood. Had this poppy seed and apple tart, which was delicious. Not too pricey, and lovely to sit and enjoy the place. Highly recommended!

I love Lehamim. It's a wonderful bakery that is working around the clock on weekdays. On weekends it is closed. On Friday it has relatively long lines, but they take minutes to clear. The verity is usually good, but if you want something specific make sure to call and reserve it because things run out. Highly recommended.

The Urban Bakery is very nice to look at: the pastries are of high quality, well made (👍). However: it's been a few times when we recieved not so fresh pastries (but still good looking and good tasting pastries, but weird texture). We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I love the vibe of this place, it's very friendly and relaxed plus you're surrounded by plants and trees 😀 The coffee is good, they have different alternatives to regular milk and loads of pastries and cakes. And if you have kids there is a nice playground right in front of it. Definitely coming back before I leave.

Overall, Urban Bakery was pretty good! I got a chocolate croissant and a donut with chocolate inside it. Both were very good, but not amazing. The quality was 4/5. The croissant could have been a bit crispier and fresher since it was soft when I bit into it. The donut was very rich with almost *too* much chocolate if that’s even possible. I would recommend trying if you’re in the area!

Best donut shop in Israel. Usually donuts in Israel are dry with cheap frosting but not in Showroom Bakehouse. Here they’re soft and taste like the ones you get overseas. A lot of different frostings and there’s cookies as well. A must visit if you’re in the area.

Cute and small bakery, we tried the double chocolate cookie which was rich and amazing, the baked pecan caramel danish which was super tasty and the creme patissiere cronut which was a bit too sweet for our taste. I’ve been a regular here, but after my last visit I won’t be coming back. On a busy Friday morning I ordered a sandwich and a cold coffee (42₪). When my 2-year-old saw my coffee, she asked for a bit of milk. the place have plenty of vegan cakes and cookies unfortunately not always all of them are available. the price is a bit expensive but some of there cakes are worth it. my favorite are the brownies and the Florentine chocolate chunks cookies. as for the cakes the pistachio and Vanilla toffee stripe are wonderful.

Also, my father received a cold steak and had it remade. The sits were comfortable but it was crowded and loud in there. For the price of the place, I'm not going to lie, I'm a bit disappointed. If you choose to go I recommend ordering a place before hand!

The food and the drinks taste amazing, although are much pricier than most places in tel aviv. I paid around 70 shekels for two pastries and one coffee. The atmosphere is great and welcoming as are most of the staff. I had only one unfortunate incident where I asked for a pastry with a particular topping out of the few that they had and they gave me the wrong one. I came back to the counter to ask them for the one that I ordered and paid for and the person working there insisted that it's all the same inside anyway and it doesn't matter instead of just changing it to what i asked for in the first place🫤. If I didn't care then I wouldn't have ordered a particular one.

My Hebrew is not up to par and the two young employees did not speak much English (which I am now living in Israel and am slowly learning). I thought of giving Milk Bakery a one star rating but this last pastry is what made it a two. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Really nice bakery. Very hip, can get crowded, but with a decent amount of places around to rest while you drink your coffee. Coffee is really good and so are the pastries.

I came here for a lunch to have a sandwich and something sweet. Unfortunately, at 13:00, almost everything was sold, just few sandwiches left that looked quite sad and no interesting pastries. I ordered a salmon sandwich, profiterole with vanilla cream and American coffee. Everything was good, not woow, coffee too watery for my taste. Girl told me to come either in the morning or on Friday, then they have amazing stuff. Maybe I will and then I'll update my review. There is no inside sitting, so in summer it is could be too hot to sit outside.

This place is famous for its bread and pastries. Everything we tried was delicious. Coffee was also very good. Its a small place, if you plan to visit during rush hour.

I used to like the place.The reason I gave only 3 stars is because of the quality of service we got last wednesday. Not because, they vergot the espresso we ordered along the 2 pastries and the ice café and mineral water, but because of the unfriendly waitress and the attitude of the woman at the bar. The place was not more busy than usuall nor was the staff stressed. There is no excuse for lack of smiles and arrogance in customer service in an expensive place, even if the french baguette is good. The almond pastry was a bit too sweet, the apricot pate was fine.

For bread, cookies, cakes Lachmanina can't be beaten. Really, their artisan bread is amongst the best ..and for take-home, after 8:00pm, any unsold bread is half price. Eating in...good coffee, sandwiches, a good selection of salads. Maybe best of all, is the friendly, very helpful staff. Customer centered as you would wish other places would be, but aren't.

I had bulgur salad with olives, kohlorabi, feta cheese and cranberries. It was tart and sweet, not too heavy and very good. For desert I had a chocolate cheese cake with coffee. The portion was quite large and came with sour cream with a hint of orange. Again, very good. Would definitely visit again.

That place isn’t what it was at the beginning when they opened. There are now 2 places. The food quality became really average, really bad coffee, and service same level as the food. It went from a really fine boulangerie to an average one. Just the fact that they reheated my Pain au Chocolat was a bad sign. Not recommended!

Might have been my fault for ordering a cheese cake at a boulangerie, which was tasty for a home made one, but not a professional cake. The coffee was horrendous. Maybe the other baked goods are better, but I wouldn't know.

Arrived at noon for a big line with only one cashier to serve them all (while many other workers couldn't seem to help). I bought 3 different pastries to try. The best one (croissant cube with creme patissiere and fruits), was just ok. The butter croissant and chocolate danish were way too dry and disappointing. Can't believe they were baked on that day. 3 stars seem a bit generous at the moment, compared to the hype this place got. Might give them a second chance in the future, but was really disappointed by the poor quality.

They also have wine etc. The inside is great for work working on your laptop, you can order something small and sit there for a long time, they don’t bother you. They used to make good coffee..not anymore 😔 Cappuccinos look and taste like warm milk. 👎 When I told them I want to return the coffee they did offer to make me a new one, which was just as bad. Egg salad sandwich was good though.

We enjoyed a very nice happy hour at the Buti, with wonderful white wine, a great bruschetta trio and several tapas we chose from the deli. We sat outside with a view to the Dizengoff square, and it was lovely.

The previous bad experience I had due to one very rude worker turned into a nice habit of buying there coffee every morning. I highly recommend the chocolate croissants 🥐 (14₪), these are the best I found in Tel Aviv. The prices generally are expensive. The coffee is good, the only thing I don’t like is that the difference between a small and big cappuccino is that they just add hot water, so the coffee becomes very watery 😥 so rather order a small one and it’s fine. The workers there are overall very nice and friendly (apparently this rude person doesn’t work there anymore). Merci ❣️

Excellent food, this is the only place in Tel Aviv where French produced flour and butter are used though you can get authentic French flavors. Nevertheless, there's always a mess with a queue for ordering that can't be organized since the place is opened so clients feel confused. Other important from my point of view thing that guys working behind the counter are not event making attempt to smile. The job is done mechanically that makes you feel that you own them something. The food is great but the service could be more friendly.

The location is very cramped and those sitting in have a constant flow of people coming in and ordering moving and standing right next to them. One of the best bakeries in Tel Aviv and the second branch in Israel of the French artisanal boulangerie and patisserie chain. You can order a pick up online, do a quick take away or sit outside. There's normally a line at the door, but service is quick and efficient. There's a huge variety of pastries and breads to choose from and selecting something is the tough part. I ordered large cup(13 Nis) in takeaway and got American coffee in small capuchino cup. When I showed them the big cup, they told no it is for big capuchino that costs 15 nis. So what to do? Order another American coffee? So my morning coffee will cost 26 nis. It is crazy. When I asked them to make me an American coffee in a big cappuccino cup. First they refused and then they told me that they will do me a FAVOR. I don't need your favors. You don't play with people coffee. Disappointed and upset, there are so many good patisseries in Tel Aviv. They lost a client. Liked the place a lot. Would recommend avocado sandwich with boiled egg, its bread was delicious, with curcuma added, loved every bite of it. Also nice cakes and great coffee. A bit expensive

We ate two sandwiches, coffee, and a cheesecake. We ate only the sandwiches, which were okay. We left the coffee and cheesecake on the table after just tasting them. Considering the place is high-range it got such a low rating. It is not worth your time and money. Just skip it.

We came here on a Friday for lunch based on the high reviews. Bread was great, so for a bakery that's excellent. The Israeli breakfast was eh. Sitting to eat was chaotic, disorganized and stressful. I feel like they were understaffed. There was one chaotic line just waiting to sit down and another to order takeout. The bread was really good, but I don't think I would be back due to the chaos.

Wow. Arrived really late on Friday and there was nothing left but a brownie. It was quite expensive but it was love at first bite. Greatest brownie I've had. Pretty yummy and unique baked goods here. Sometimes the things they make just don't really taste like the original way they taste back in the US though, like the black and white cookie and the Boston cream donut. Still tasty in its own way, but not like the real authentic thing back home. I will keep trying all of their donuts and pies regardless since it's the closest thing I can find here to a real American bakery!

We spent a night at the Drisco and we had a nice experience. The rooms are basic although the bathrooms are huge and well equipped. The balcony (we had one) is a waste of money... you are blocked by a tall building one side and by a huge Ficus tree on the other...no view at all. The staff was very welcoming and supportive and the overall vibe is excellent. The rooftop drink "happy hour" is nice gesture however the sunset is mostly blocked by (another) tall building.... Do note that the hotel does not offer a pool. I recommend strolling around the American Colony neighborhood, HaMesila Park and the old railroad station during afternoon/evening

Hands down an insanely well-balanced, tasty basque cheesecake that we absolutely loved, and a very good (but kinda empty or very lightly) filled blueberry mascarpone cruffin. Prices are TLV-ish ~ 50 shekel for both! Would definitely go again for their Basque cheesecake! (A note - Update your opening hours, literally visited 4 times to manage to get the place open)

A sophisticated boulangerie in a charming corner of Tel Aviv, you’re bound to enjoy whatever you order. I had a savory sweet potato and béchamel sauce pastry followed by a poppyseed crumble cake and both were excellent; the poppyseed cake was extremely moist with different textures in every bite thanks to the added prunes and chopped almonds. The coffee was excellent as well. Two reasons for the lost star: firstly, service. The person taking orders got mine wrong and I received a small rather than a large coffee; when I flagged this, they did nothing to assist. I had to order another coffee, and the barista was very unpleasant. Secondly, while I understand flaky pastries are best eaten fresh, the pistachio cruffin I got for takeaway had totally dried out by the time I ate it that same day. In short, I’d recommend this place for a coffee and a breakfast or a snack, but takeaway doesn’t hold up too well and be prepared for a line in the morning!

Alexander is an amazing new French Boulangerie that sells next level pastries, baguettes and breads. Evertything is freshly baked just across the counter in an open kitchen mouth drooling glass display. 🤤🥐🥖 Everything that I tried was really unique and super tasty, the Lemon Cruffin was just out of this world. Crispy dough on the outside and melting cream on the inside, wow! The Vanilla-nuts Garmoshka was heavenly as well. A perfect crispy brioche on the outside filled with yummy cream. Can't wait to try the rest of the stuff... Alexander is located at the shop where Hanoi restaurant used to be and currently doesn't offer any outside seating - you can grab everything to go and go sit on a bench in Rothschild or in Neve Tsedek. There's a line, which currently takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the day and hour (I was there on a Friday), the selection of pastries also changes and sells out quickly, so if you are coming in especially, I would give them a call to see what they have.

After receiving a lot of recommendations on the place grabbed some coffee and pastries on my way to work and was happy I did so ☺️ I chose the lemon cruffin, the classic cheese cake, raspberry brioche and pecan cookie. Everything was wonderful and fresh, but surprisingly enough we especially enjoyed the “simple” pecan cookie which was heavenly. Try it!

What a wonderful bakery! I'm almost angry at myself for not finding this place until my last day in Tel-Aviv. Although we weren't entirely sure what we were getting, the staff were very outgoing and helpful, pointing us to some of the most delicious stuff I had eaten during my entire trip to Israel, which was not an easy feat. And though I can't remember what it was I ate, just get whatever. I'm sure it's all great. I'd love to check this place out again next time I visit!

This is basically a takeout bakery but there is a nice salad bar and sandwiches are also available. The baked goods were delicious and the salad was fresh. I wouldn’t consider it a cafe but there are a few stools outside.

This is a great local bakery. The place is so small and unnoticed that even though I know exactly where it is, sometimes when I go there, I pass by it without noticing. This bakery is my Friday morning bakery, they make the most amazing ricotta yeast cake. They also sell delicious Chala on Friday mornings and lots of types of pastries and cakes. I ordered two sandwiches, Balkan and Mozarella. Balkan one has way too much cheese, bread is also very salted. So together it’s over salted. Mozarella one was fine. An absolute hidden jem, to those who don't know it or don't pass by. Great coffee, delicious dessert, pastries and other Swedish goodies. The tables outside are not the only sitting area - there is a large store inside with more room, and even power outlets if you wanna work on your laptop or charge your phone. A great place to find Swedish pastries and desserts. Great kannel (cinnamon bun), the one with chocolate is also great. The little green cake is the famous Swedish “princess” cake. The only disadvantage is that the prices are a bit high. But overall great place to have coffee and a Swedish treat.

Great Swedish cinnamon roll and coffee. I sent a photo of the pastry I got to a friend in Stockholm who said it’s legit. So there you go. Try this place out.

I’ve tried both locations of Zeit für Brot in Tel Aviv. The coffee is great, and all the pastries and cakes that I tried (over multiple visits) were really good. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the prices are a bit high, even considering the high quality of ingredients.

The best cinnamon roll I’ve ever tasted. The dough was soft and at the same time rich in taste, the coffee was okay. The place is small inside and there are not many places to sit, but the staff was quick and efficient.

Was very happy to run into this place by chance, the schnekes are awesome, also the mascarpone brioche was delicious. Coffee tasted good as well, the staff was a bit tired and miserable looking 🥲

This bakery totally rocks! They've got killer coffee too. This spot right here just adds more street cred to the already awesome Berlin bakery.

Amazing bakery, everything was delicious. There's a large variety of bread. The only downside is the location, ill recommend take away or delivery service.

For an authentic food experience, made at a house, so no seating, take out only, the cook is the kindest most humble person! Soft and delicious jachnun , spicy hot sauce and a fresh tomato pure are such a great pairing. Order in advance, and finding the place is part of the fun 🤩

Cozy place with couple of tables. Didn't like the taste of their food.(probably I didn't understand those Yemeni traditional dishes) However this place is always full packed and there is a queue outside.

Very good jachnun, complete with the usual accompaniments. Delivery was super fast, and free if you order 2+ portions. Only suggestion is that they should serve brown eggs instead of white.

A nice local authentic Jachnun restaurant. I'm buying there for years, and from the takeaway Jachnuns, they are better than others. Will be better for you to take away and eat at home or on the beach. Prices are fair. Enjoy :)

A 50 years old business making home made recepie JACHNON ( Jahnun is made from white flour, margarine or butter, a pinch of salt and sugar that is processed and folded over and over to create puff pastry)for years , its a must stop station every Saturday morning-non , home made with tomatoes salad and "SCHOG" (A spicy spread of chili pepper) some boiled eggs, and bon appetit!

The chocolate chip bread is amazing!

It's the only spot for Middle Eastern treats. We stopped by for kanafeh, but walked out with three different desserts including Dubai chocolate. It's so good to have a great option besides the numerous ice cream parlors on Dizengoff.

We ended up here late night after dinner and loved it! It was very tasty😋 I loved their Malabi as well. Glad that we tried!
