The food and the drinks taste amazing, although are much pricier than most places in tel aviv. I paid around 70 shekels for two pastries and one coffee. The atmosphere is great and welcoming as are most of the staff. I had only one unfortunate incident where I asked for a pastry with a particular topping out of the few that they had and they gave me the wrong one. I came back to the counter to ask them for the one that I ordered and paid for and the person working there insisted that it's all the same inside anyway and it doesn't matter instead of just changing it to what i asked for in the first place🫤. If I didn't care then I wouldn't have ordered a particular one.

Disappointed... After all of the hype and great reviews that I read I was truly disappointed. I am new to the neighborhood and was excited that they were just a three minute walk from my apartment. I wish I had taken pictures of the three pastries that I bought to share them with my thoughts on each one. First of all, everything tasted and had the textures that they were day old and not fresh (I was there at 8:30 in the morning). I love Almond Croissants and with this one it was only the sliced almonds on top that had any similarty to an Almond Croissant. It was bland and had no type of filling. Then there was a pastry that looked like a miniature/single serving of a chocolate bobka. It had a bitter, not sweet taste. The third one was the only one that was tasty and seemed to be fresh. Unfortunately that is the only one that I have no idea how to describe since I never had anything like it. It was a square that had four sections on top. I think that the guy behind the counter said it was a butter pastry. My Hebrew is not up to par and the two young employees did not speak much English (which I am now living in Israel and am slowly learning). I thought of giving Milk Bakery a one star rating but this last pastry is what made it a two. Needless to say, I will not be going back.

Really nice bakery. Very hip, can get crowded, but with a decent amount of places around to rest while you drink your coffee. Coffee is really good and so are the pastries.

I came here for a lunch to have a sandwich and something sweet. Unfortunately, at 13:00, almost everything was sold, just few sandwiches left that looked quite sad and no interesting pastries. I ordered a salmon sandwich, profiterole with vanilla cream and American coffee. Everything was good, not woow, coffee too watery for my taste. Girl told me to come either in the morning or on Friday, then they have amazing stuff. Maybe I will and then I'll update my review. There is no inside sitting, so in summer it is could be too hot to sit outside.

Simply stunning baked goods. Great care in making, and delicious coffee. Their chocolate chip cookie is out of this world. Arrive early for the best selection.

From the way they answered the phone to the fact they were still open beyond the hours advertised to the friendly laidback barista to the excellent coffee to the delicious baked goods - this place is a treat.

One of my favorite cafes in Tel Aviv. Breakfast is one of the best too find in town and so consistent. One of the best coffees that can be found. Desserts are a hit or miss but the food is excellent!

The most expensive sandwich, the Bacon Egg and Cheese. It’s a fine sandwich, but for almost $20 (Basically 3 times the price of the USA) the biggest rip off I’ve ever experienced. The bagel is good. Little bit of cheese and the bit there is is pre melted and crispy. With only 2 pieces of soggy bacon and a fried egg. Genuinely trying to figure out why it costs this much. I would recommend get something else or just make it at home. I would be more willing to just quietly pay if it looked more like the photo lol.

What a great place in the heart of Tel-Aviv!! You can sit outside and do some people watching, or inside to escape the heat, or in the back patio if you want to smoke after your meal. Great and friendly staff, that was quick and not pushy. The bagels looked so good, so I had to try it and ordered a roast beef bagel. Slices of beef, slaw and a spicy mustard, on a bagel. Great sandwich! Could use some more beef, but the flavor combo, which is not new, was done correctly and it was delicious. Also had a Nola breakfast. Two eggs, salad, hash browns, cream cheese, avocado, and a bagel. The portion was generous and everything was good. Except for the hash brown. It was probably made in a large batch and than they cut and reheat the portion on a griddle. At least that's how it tastes. It was too dense and didn't have those classic pointy potato ends that crisp up when you fry it. I also got a Nola cocktail, with OJ, whiskey and honey. It was pretty good. Definitely a nice change from the classic mimosa or bloody Mary for breakfast. All in all, I would definitely come back here for brunch, or lunch, or anytime of the day.

We really liked the atmosphere. The waiters are very friendly, fast and professional. The food is extremely good, and you should definitely have a look at their patisserie before you blindly order something. .. For us this place was a wonderful start into the day.

When I think about a good breakfast in Tel Aviv, Nola is always the first option! The quality of the food is amazing, everything is always fresh, their coffee is super delicious and desserts are definitely a must try! The service is quick even though the place is almost always packed. Love this place! ❤️

Truly well done American style breakfast. I really enjoyed the biscuits! The bacon is actually well cooked and crispy. My wife had the hashbrowns which were also tasty but not exactly what I would expect. The desserts are the real reason to come to NOLA. We had the mud pie which was absolutely amazing.

Edit 2022 - stopped by once again for some pastries. I’m in love. All in all a very nice place, great get ice and tasty food - been here a few times mainly for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Try the scones they are lovely!!

Knafeh was quite average in my opinion. Syrup was tasteless, ratio of kadayif to cheese was wrong (too little kadayif), and the ice cream wasn’t that special. Well cooked however! The service was not there really - we brought them to table. Wouldn’t visit again.

Always saw the huge queue and never dared to wait, until tonight, when there was no line at all. Well, I guess what they say is true - it's delicious! I still don't think anything is worth such a long wait but, up to you. The Knaffe with ice cream and pistachio is great, and the service is food. The place itself is very small without much space to sit except a few high chairs. Recommend!

I had never had Knafeh before this but wow was i impressed!! Dont be intimated non-Israelis, it might look a little strange but its a 10/10 dessert and this place does it right! Customer service was awesome also and they spoke great English to me so i felt super comfortable. Grab you some Knafeh then head to the beach and youve got yourself a perfect time!

Nice place. Very good Knafeh. And the Turkish ice cream is delicious!! I recommend also to try the baklava with ice cream inside it. Plus the Turkish tea. Usually there's a long waiting line outside because the place is really small, but it's worth the wait. The Knafeh is served hot in personal dish and made instantly. Recommend for sure!

If you like sweets, you have to try Knafeh here. It is said to be one of the best Knafeh in Tel Aviv. Hard for me to say since I don't have a comparison. But it was very delicious yet. You don't usually have ice cream with Knafeh but they serve it here with ice cream, it was delicious. Kind of like Brownie & ice cream or Apfelstrudel & ice cream.

Perfection! The best desert you will eat in Jaffa (heck, even in Tel Aviv). This knafeh really stands out from many others with deep, rich flavors and awesome Turkish pistachio icecream. Plus more grounded pistachio on top to boost the effect. Quite-good baklava comes second though. Be aware how popular the place is, meaning queues during weekends and evenings can be mind blowing. So go there during working week mid-day and have a hustle free delicious experience. I also suggest to skip the (mediocre) black coffee for an excellent tea.

Wow the best Knafeh in Tel Aviv.. perfect taste and all the dishes are lovely. Open late at night will be also an advantage. Open everyday. Good staffs and this is a new place of the old classic famous Yaffa Knafeh but bot crowded as the old one. Spacious and well maintained place. Should try if you visit Jaffa. Kids will love it also everyone :)

Amazing ice cream, I think it is better than Buza or Otello. The cheesecake literally tasted like cream cheese, while the salted cashew beside the great flavour had multiple cashew chunks. You can ask for half portions, which means you can taste 2 flavours in a small cup which is still pretty sizable. The smallest cup costs 20 NIS, and the service is super kind. They have multiple locations make sure to check them out when you are in Tel-Aviv ;)

Ice cream is too sweet and industrial-style. The flavors are far from what ice cream at this price should be. The place is pleasant, and the service is good.

I didn’t even buy anything when I was here. I walked in to take a look at this place and found myself hearing about the history of the place and their relationship with the Golda ice cream chain from one of the workers there. He was glad to be telling me their story and I witnessed what a good place to work this must be if the workers have such a connection to the place. When we informed them we were not intending to get any ice cream, they gave each of us a very generous spoon of a flavor of our choice and kindly said they hoped to see us again. I’ve had their ice cream before, it’s wonderful, as is their staff apparently.

Tasty ice cream, good selection of flavors, set in historic Templar building. Communication was a little difficult in English and service is a bit hectic, but overall great experience.

Ice-cream paradise. Removed one star as simple coffee with soy milk turned out burned. Just burned... If you have a coffee machine in place, try to teach your stuff to use it properly!

Easily my favorite restaurant. I come here every other week, and it never disappoints. The menu is short — almost suspiciously so — but everything on it is solid. They clearly go for quality over quantity, and it works. They offer a discount with the Behatzdaa card for reservists, which is a nice touch and genuinely appreciated. The staff are friendly without being fake, and the whole place has this cozy, no-frills, “you’re part of the family” vibe. It’s not trying to be trendy or over-the-top — just good food, good people, and a space that feels like a second home. Honestly, if they added two more tables, I’d probably be annoyed. Let’s keep this our little secret.

I have visited this place several times a few years ago and was happy to return again. It has become a much larger place, taking over a few of the places next door. The design is still very hipster, 70s vibe, eclectic and lovely. Very popular among the tourists around the glee market. The food is also still very tasty, but they did raise the rates quite a bit and for some of the dishes I do think the value for money is not great.

Unfriendly, rude and not helpful the hostess, the food was nice a bit salty; the dessert (tapioca) was great. the atmosphere was ok, I was seated under vent air conditioning and was dripping over me, and then I asked for another table.

We had a breakfast here and we enjoyed it. Nice spot in old Jaffa. We ordered Shakshuka and an scrambled eggs, they serve it with bread, vegetable salat and humus, all very tasty. You cal also just have a seat and enjoy your coffee. Really nice place, in case we are backnin Tel Aviv we will visit this place again.

What was once the only restaurant in the shuk hapishpeshim district remains a reigning Supreme restaurant with authentic bohemian vibes and European atmosphere. The waitstaff are very nice, the food is tasty and the mood is super chill. Started by my aunt with alot of heart and soul, the restaurant keeps my dear Pua's legacy alive with this unique and very special place. A "must visit and eat" location if/when you come to Yaffo.

I am a professional foodie, therefore I insist on making accurate researches for places that are very good, memorable to my tummy. This is one place I am not done with yet, had just half of their menu... So I just keep going back there and tasting everything. Food exceptional, venue very pretty and in a gorgeous location, service fast and very professional. So far one of my favorite places in Tel Aviv.

Wow! Our dining experience was incredible. The ambiance is spectacular!! It was one of our first meals on our trip back to Tel-Aviv and it just blew us away (reminded us why we constantly long for Israel and its cuisine)! You will love anything you order on their menu!! They have outdoor seating too. This place came highly recommended and there it did not disappoint!

High class, fancy place. Pretty good value for money. The food is very good, especially the "crudu" dishes. Sizes are OK. Service should definitely get better though, in a place like this you shouldn't ask several times for the same thing or get an attitude from a waitress for requesting.

High class restaurant and expensive. The menu is limited but at the same time almost every dish was very tasty. I recommend the spicy salmon roll. Very high level of service. Great place to celebrate an event with friends and family. It is recommended to book in advance.

Amazing design, atmosphere, service and food. Cocktails were also very special and delicate taste. The place is elegant and pleasant to sit expecially on the bar and I really love the bottle decorations as background. The tataki tuna we ordered was small but super tasty.

Place is located next to the Clock Tower. Tourists are everywhere so the price is quite high. Pastries are mostly fresh, but not everything tastes super good. Close to the beach, promenade and old city all around you. Open even late in the evening.

Not good - I went here after reading a few blogs that recommended it but I should have checked the reviews first. I got a pistachio croissant because it looked pretty but unfortunately the flavor didn’t match the appearance. The bread was stale and the pistachio cream didn’t have any flavor. :(

Holy mother of Bakery! A friend who used to go here with his parents as a little child guided me here for a big girl bakery experience. I was here at 7 am (they seem to be open 24 hours) and had it all to myself. The guys were grumpy and I would be too if I had the late shift but the food was incredible. My mouth is watering and I wish I wasn't miles away!

A Jaffa institution. Full of a huge selection of pastries and treats that are baked fresh in their brick ovens. I love their sambousaks and their donuts but in my opinion, they have the best toasts in the city!

Just wow. Best rugelach I’ve ever had. I was trying to be good and bought only that and an iced latte. The rest of the desserts and sandwiches looked delicious and picturesqly perfect. Chic and charming, there’s only outdoor seating with fans, in a cozy patio of a small side street, across a huge bougainvillea tree. Highly recommend and worth the hype! Oh and there’s outlets!

One of the best bakeries in Israel. They offer great breakfast menu for take out, having the best outdoor places to be nearby (Susan Dallal or the beach), they also offer a picnic basket in weekdays (needs reservation) Try their famous croissant bagel (with or without cheese)

We paid 140 shekels for 2 sandwiches and 2 coffees. One was a bagel with the fish, the bagel was a few days old, like a stone. The fish was also not the freshest. Another sandwich was also not tasty, with cheese, pear and Chilli sauce. I had to throw everything. Old, bad tastes. Coffee was very middle, weak. Nice mirror and interior, though. Having lived in Israel for 7 years, I have never eaten such a bad old bagel here.

Everything I tried here was absolutely delicious. I was attracted to all the twisty things here. Not shown were small rectangular puff pastries with cheese inside and sesame seeds on the outside. So good!

I visited Dalal Bakery in Tel Aviv and had an amazing experience. The vanilla cube was absolutely delicious — perfectly light, flavorful, and so fresh. I also ordered an Americano, and it was a real, high-quality coffee, not watered down like in many places. Everything tasted authentic and made with care. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

Wonderful bakery in the picturesque Neve Tzedek neighborhood. Had this poppy seed and apple tart, which was delicious. Not too pricey, and lovely to sit and enjoy the place. Highly recommended!

The best bakery in Tel Aviv, everything is delicious but the Raspberry Danish is beyond divine. Try their iced coffee with it to balance out the sweetness.

Not my personal cup of tea desserts-wise, however the malabi itself was quite good! Tried the normal version topped with rose water, strawberry syrup, crushed nuts and grinded coconut. Very good service, chill yard, nice to try as a one-off!

Super cute place to rest from a trip in the area, that have beer, soft drink, coffee and same cakes and cookies but he specializes in malabi (there is milky or naturalistic (I eat the milky and it was excellent. There are backgammon boards to play on.

If you eat ice cream there, don't expect homemade ice cream. Despite this, the "industrial" ice creams aren't bad. Of the ice cream options in Tel Aviv, you can eat well, and they also have good service. There are relatively few flavors to choose from.

Great selection of ice cream, I tried salted caramel and mango. Both tastes were delicious and very tasty and full of Flavour. There’s quite a crowd coming there, but the service is quick.

Let’s start with the price.. 81 NIS!? For what.. for a barely so called ice cream. Plus the service is absolutely horrible and rude.

Now I know why so many people like it. Pistashio was salty but great. Mango was devine. The tosted almonds were perfect. Only advice is not to process the pecans to a powder. Small bits will give much better flavour. Service and presantation were simply perfect. Nice and clean inside and out. Has a bathroom too. I will be back to try other flavours. Thank you.

For bread, cookies, cakes Lachmanina can't be beaten. Really, their artisan bread is amongst the best ..and for take-home, after 8:00pm, any unsold bread is half price. Eating in...good coffee, sandwiches, a good selection of salads. Maybe best of all, is the friendly, very helpful staff. Customer centered as you would wish other places would be, but aren't.

I had bulgur salad with olives, kohlorabi, feta cheese and cranberries. It was tart and sweet, not too heavy and very good. For desert I had a chocolate cheese cake with coffee. The portion was quite large and came with sour cream with a hint of orange. Again, very good. Would definitely visit again.

Come here early in the morning and see the world doing his stuff, while you eat a bread and drink your coffee. Try the Nelson bread and the coffee. If there is still "Hetzi Pita Sabich" - try it, it is awesome. The prices a normal, but the place is crowded most of the time.

The Urban Bakery is very nice to look at: the pastries are of high quality, well made (👍). However: it's been a few times when we recieved not so fresh pastries (but still good looking and good tasting pastries, but weird texture). We wish you a merry Christmas and a happy new year.

I love the vibe of this place, it's very friendly and relaxed plus you're surrounded by plants and trees 😀 The coffee is good, they have different alternatives to regular milk and loads of pastries and cakes. And if you have kids there is a nice playground right in front of it. Definitely coming back before I leave.

Overall, Urban Bakery was pretty good! I got a chocolate croissant and a donut with chocolate inside it. Both were very good, but not amazing. The quality was 4/5. The croissant could have been a bit crispier and fresher since it was soft when I bit into it. The donut was very rich with almost *too* much chocolate if that’s even possible. I would recommend trying if you’re in the area!

A nice cozy Cafe/Bakery with great coffee drinks and high quality pastries. The dough they use really makes the pastries special; though I came in around noon and I felt that they had dried up a bit. Try to ask for the freshest pastries they have.

Wow. Arrived really late on Friday and there was nothing left but a brownie. It was quite expensive but it was love at first bite. Greatest brownie I've had. Too bad they are open for more days during the week. A week after I came back for the cinnabon. Not as good as the brownie, but awesome still. A MUST!

Pretty yummy and unique baked goods here. Sometimes the things they make just don't really taste like the original way they taste back in the US though, like the black and white cookie and the Boston cream donut. Still tasty in its own way, but not like the real authentic thing back home. I will keep trying all of their donuts and pies regardless since it's the closest thing I can find here to a real American bakery!

I’ve been a regular here, but after my last visit I won’t be coming back. On a busy Friday morning I ordered a sandwich and a cold coffee (42₪). When my 2-year-old saw my coffee, she asked for a bit of milk. The staff gave me mixed answers - first I was told I needed to line up again to order, after lining up I was told that it wasn’t necessary, and finally the manager stepped in and charged 7₪ for a splash of milk. The rigid attitude and lack of basic customer care over something so small left a really bad impression. Unfortunately, that was my last time here 😔

Near kikar hamidina is Bakery. I think it is a little pretentious , they have a range of cakes and pastries at the usual Tel-Aviv prices. I ordered coffee and a small pastry that cost nis 24. There is a sitting area where you can sit and enjoy your meal or pastry.

Good and varied products. Good prices according to quality and prices in TLV. Excellent breakfast. A totally recommended place.

Pastries at another level. Everything looked amazing, great helpful service as we needed some explaining on the options. Super recommend to pop in here and have something, top quality. They got coffee and other soft drinks as well as bottles of wine from some local wine maker.

Hands down an insanely well-balanced, tasty basque cheesecake that we absolutely loved, and a very good (but kinda empty or very lightly) filled blueberry mascarpone cruffin. Prices are TLV-ish ~ 50 shekel for both! Would definitely go again for their Basque cheesecake! (A note - Update your opening hours, literally visited 4 times to manage to get the place open)

The BEST bakery in Tel Aviv, there isn't a competition (trust me, I tried all of them 😆) every thing we tried was amazing, the selection is incredible, the service is always pleasant and the taste is phenomenal

A sophisticated boulangerie in a charming corner of Tel Aviv, you’re bound to enjoy whatever you order. I had a savory sweet potato and béchamel sauce pastry followed by a poppyseed crumble cake and both were excellent; the poppyseed cake was extremely moist with different textures in every bite thanks to the added prunes and chopped almonds. The coffee was excellent as well. Two reasons for the lost star: firstly, service. The person taking orders got mine wrong and I received a small rather than a large coffee; when I flagged this, they did nothing to assist. I had to order another coffee, and the barista was very unpleasant. Secondly, while I understand flaky pastries are best eaten fresh, the pistachio cruffin I got for takeaway had totally dried out by the time I ate it that same day. In short, I’d recommend this place for a coffee and a breakfast or a snack, but takeaway doesn’t hold up too well and be prepared for a line in the morning!

Beautiful and delicious pastries. The place is stylish and clean, the kitchen is open and you can watch them work with the dough and prepare the pastries. We took a cold coffee and three types of pastries, all were excellent!

Alexander is an amazing new French Boulangerie that sells next level pastries, baguettes and breads. Evertything is freshly baked just across the counter in an open kitchen mouth drooling glass display. 🤤🥐🥖 Everything that I tried was really unique and super tasty, the Lemon Cruffin was just out of this world. Crispy dough on the outside and melting cream on the inside, wow! The Vanilla-nuts Garmoshka was heavenly as well. A perfect crispy brioche on the outside filled with yummy cream. Can't wait to try the rest of the stuff... Alexander is located at the shop where Hanoi restaurant used to be and currently doesn't offer any outside seating - you can grab everything to go and go sit on a bench in Rothschild or in Neve Tsedek. There's a line, which currently takes 15-30 minutes, depending on the day and hour (I was there on a Friday), the selection of pastries also changes and sells out quickly, so if you are coming in especially, I would give them a call to see what they have.

After receiving a lot of recommendations on the place grabbed some coffee and pastries on my way to work and was happy I did so ☺️ I chose the lemon cruffin, the classic cheese cake, raspberry brioche and pecan cookie. Everything was wonderful and fresh, but surprisingly enough we especially enjoyed the “simple” pecan cookie which was heavenly. Try it!

Located right across from the Dr. Erlich Station on the Light Rail Red Line (heading towards Bat Yam) is an unassuming, nondescript little store that is well-known locally for its malabi, a Middle Eastern milk pudding topped with rose syrup. To me, what’s so amazing about this desert is that if you eat the pudding by itself, it’s rather bland. But the moment you introduce the rose syrup, the whole experience changes. It’s like a magic trick: One moment the pudding is plain and tasteless, and the next moment, with the rose syrup on top, the whole thing is bursting with a very powerful milk flavor. I have also tried their pineapple gazoz (you can also choose cherry), which is sparkling water mixed with flavored syrup. The carbonation makes the soft drink refreshing on a hot day, but it is a little too sweet for me. Then again, 1) anything that’s more than Coke Zero-sweet is sweet for me and 2) this is the first time I have ever tried gazoz, so perhaps this is the standard sweetness. Is it worth going out of your way just for their malabi? Absolutely. And make sure you buy a few more orders to take home for your friends and family.

Malabi from Heaven 😍 I usually take all my friends from outside of the country to try it and they always go crazy about it. The also hold some other simple desserts and sparkling water in different tastes. And in the winter you should try the Sachlav.

I once asked if they could put nuts on top of the malabi (like in other malabi places) and they asked “did you come here for nuts or did you come here for malabi?”...so don’t come for nuts, come for malabi! But even without the toppings, it’s definitely the best around!

What a magical little cafe! As soon as you walk in, you feel like you have just walked into a scene out of a fairytale. The ambiance feels like you are in a little forest house, the chairs feel like butterfly wings, the silverware is golden and there are fairy lights on the ceiling! the decor is spot on, even the bathroom is on theme! We ordered a breakfast mid week and it was delicious and filling, and we ordered a pastry that was great, we didn’t even have room for the amazing looking desserts! Will definitely try to go back

A branch of my favorite bakery chain in tel aviv that i’ve never been to before and it wasn’t a let down! Staff are super nice, baked goods (custard pastry and maple pecan pastry) were fresh and yummy and the s’mores cookie was absolutely divine and moist!!

Mochikva is a unique shop smong boba & mochi places. The young American & British women who started & own the place work there full time & put special quality & care into everything. Believe it or not, they make their own boba from scratch! This is an incredible thing I have never encountered anywhere in the world! They use healthier and more natural ingredients than most other places, and only natural, real teas & flavors, no powders or artificial, sugary syrups. The tapioca balls were a perfect consistency & taste! Highly recommended!

Edit: I visited again, and it was a excellent improvement from the first time. My kids and I loved our drinks - I had the Taro one. Glad I came back and got a 5 star experience this time!

I really sorry that I chose this place to take my friends to. Crepe with creme patticier and hazelnut was bad, crepe itself was thick and tasteless, the filling felt very cheap. Also worst coffee I have ever tried, I believe their coffee machine was dripping leftovers of previous coffee and that's what I got, when I asked for extra shot of espresso, barista added something that looked awful, barely brownish liquid.
