We had our post wedding party here and what a place it was beautiful and the staff top class. We had a cockfailsand food pre booked through our planner and all our guests were amazed of the quality of the food, quality of the cocktails and the staff so professional. Absolutely love this little haven of peace and tranquility...no idea what it's like at night as we went after a meal in the fish restaurant downstairs, in the early evening and it was very easy to get a seat. Great views, very comfy lounge seating, making you not want to move, and the best orange Mojito I've had. Will return!

Why one star you say after a good review on everything else. This was one of my favourite places until I sliced my finger on the broken glass table top, the waiter laughed and gave me a serviette, I did try and explain I cut it on the glass table top but not interested. After a waitress saw my tissue she came with a plaster. And then I just started to notice all the other little things. A broken bowl though, not so little.

We had a great meal out with lovely staff, nice atmosphere and tasty food. The highlight of the evening were the delicious cocktails made with fresh fruit and generous sizes. We were initially disappointed as we didn't get a seat with a view but we didn't have a reservation so we couldn't expect much. Still it was so peaceful getting away from the hustle and bustle up on the rooftop. We had a full three courses with cocktails and the price was incredibly good (€60 approx!). The bread was freshly baked and all of the food was delicious! The staff had perfect English which helped us as we only have a few words of Spanish. We were there for a long time and never felt rushed. We enjoyed the cocktails immensely and they looked amazing too. The only negative I can highlight is the toilets aren't great. Small and a bit dingy. I'd highly recommend booking in advance to get the view as it is superb and would really top off a nice evening.

Great show, full of energy and passion. Very nice atmosphere of the place, small but with a great spirit. The ticket for the show includes one drink; be repaired to pay by cash and it’s not cheap ( sangria 8eur). Definitely to see the flamenco show when you are here. Live shows only Saturday and Tuesday

Overall experience was good. The only thing is, they do not have menu - how can I order a drink if I don’t know what you have and for what price? I asked the waitress for the menu and she didn’t understand. I think this is to confuse people so that they order things which they think are included (a table next to us didn’t know they have to pay after). The show was good - 30 mins, then 20 mins break and then the show continues. 😊 Also, I booked the tickets online through their website and I didn’t receive the tickets (only a confirmation that I paid) so I was a bit stressed if they will allow us but everything was fine in the end.

One of the best that I have seen. Fabulous dancing, singing and guitar. The venue is small enough to create a great atmosphere and the performers engage with the audience. I booked online and chose the option for two people with meats, cheese and drinks.

The venue is small, so wherever you sit, you have a great view of the performance. The dancers were fantastic and inventive, the singer was great, and the guitarist was incredible. They played a variety of styles, some of which you don't get to see often. These performers are doing something special. Definitely go if you're in Nerja.

Absolutely brilliant performances and fantastic staff and atmosphere. Couldn’t recommend it more! I wouldn’t recommend the ham deal personally, wait until you get to a nearby tapas bar. If I had one note it would be for the staff to serve drinks at half time too! But these are tiny things- really enjoyed it!

We really enjoyed the authentic flamenco show. The Burro Blanco is a very intimate, tiny theatre. The whole experience was awesome. The dancers, singer and guitarist were simply incredible. A real taste of old Spain. Highly recommended. Thank you. Dave & Lesley 😎

Unfortunately our experience was terrible. We arrived early as seating was supposed to be assigned on a first come first serve basis. We were placed at a table by a column and told other seats were reserved even though it wasn't possible to reserve. After the show started they began putting tapas platters on the tables, and they put 4 on our table which we didn't order. We assumed these were on the house but we were later charged for them. The guy with long black hair blamed us for not telling them we didn't order this in the middle of the show when they out this stuff on our table. No issue to pay for things we did order but this behavior felt a bit like we were at a tourist trap. I hardly ever complain about places I go to. The show was nice and soulful but unfortunately the setup is less than desirable. We chose this place over others in Granada and Malaga due to the reviews and it pains to say it did absolute not live to its reputation.

What a difference a day makes. Went yesterday evening and had great service. Drinks were good and waiter was friendly and efficient. Fast forward to this afternoon and what a difference! 3 waitresses….. one doing all of the work whilst the other 2 tried their hardest to make the customers feel unwelcome and as if everything was just too much trouble. A real shame as the drinks and views are superb. Don’t think I’ll bother returning - there are plenty more welcoming places to spend the hard earned €.

We were obviously lucky to enjoy a sunnny day with cool breeze and zero people. Thus, the waiter was smiling and very helpful, the food and beer were simple but absolutely satisfying (we had nachos and guacamole and fried aubergines) and we spend lovely time there. Beware, the place may be crowded and not so relaxing at other times of the day :) ... we were there at lunch in June

Recycling old stale beer… I watched the the bar staff pouring old stale pints into glasses and topping up with fresh beer. Grumpy staff. Poor service

Location and views were fantastic, but that’s about it. The service was extremely slow, and the staff seemed tired and rather unfriendly. It took ages to be served, and while the food in general was just about okay, the chicken Caesar salad was absolutely dreadful. Such a shame, as the setting is perfect. Despite being marketed as an Irish bar, it doesn’t have that atmosphere at all.

WORST CLUB EVER!!!!!! The bodyguard was so rude, he was making fun of my friend’s height and voice, saying it was too thin and childish, he was being so disrespectful!!! The boss was also being mean and rude to us. She was missleading us and telling us by text that we could get in since the bodyguard wouldn’t let us in (even tho we had a valid ID and a picture of the passport) but she then proceeded to tell us that we couldn’t get in after all when she arrived at the front door. WE WAITED OUTSIDE FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF FOR NOTHING!!!!

Its probably the best club un nerja, if it were in a city it would get a max of 2 stars, but for this town it gets a solid 4. Very recomendable, nice people, good vives, but the music is best the later you go, (it's less bad i mean)

Nice place to listen to Spanish Music. Bar opens at 8pm. Music starts around 9:30pm. He sings a couple of songs every now and then. I guess if the place is full he may sing a few more. Drinks are reasonably compared to the resort. Recommended

What a hidden gem....loved the oldy worldy feeling this bar had to offer...lots of old treasures to see, and photos...excellent atmosphere and wonderful staff...highly recommend a visit if you're in Nerja...

Great vibe. Live music from around 10pm until 1am. Sangria was solid. Vermouth was good too. Relaxed environment to sit down and listen to music though various groups stood and did some solo dancing. Great way to enjoy a night with some locals.

We absolutely loved this place for it's great coffee and chai and a great selection of breakfasts. We had fruit bowls and yoghurt, and pancakes with fruit. The chai was the best! Great service, relaxing garden area vibe. Would highly recommend.

This place was amazing - beautiful little patio outside and some of the best food we had in Nerja. We got the verde sandwich and the goat cheese salad plus some tea to share, and everything was delicious and affordable. Everyone working there was really friendly, as well. Overall great atmosphere. Just be aware it is cash only!

Popped in for a coffee, juice and cake. Service is SLOW- so be prepared. Ordered 2 cakes and only 1 arrived which was tasty. However Nothing was served at the same time and took an hour from time we arrived to when the 1st cake arrived. By the time my oh has polished off his cake mine has still not arrived so we paid our bill (had to chase waitress down) and left. Food was tasty but service was painfully slow. Other people left as well due to this.

Amazing! Kind workers, affordable and amazing food. The place is so pretty and my friends and I absolutely loved it. Good vegan/vegetarian options as well. I got the sandwich but I recommend getting a baguette, more filling and cheap, around €4. I also got a strawberry and banana smoothie, so yum!

Visited this bar multiple times on our trip, Ger was so welcoming and we really enjoyed our few drinks in there! Great spot for watching matches, Ger was on the ball remembered peoples drinks and made a point of chatting with everyone, we enjoyed her company and it’ll be the first place we will come back to for a drink when we return to Nerja! Great genuine Irish pub in Nerja. Ann the bar lady was super friendly with a warm greeting for everyone. Atmosphere was nice but a bit more expensive than other places around Nerja.

A fabulous small and cosy Irish pub. I went there yesterday to watch the Ireland Italy six Nations match. The atmosphere was amazing all the customers were very friendly even though it was extremely full and packed to the rafters. The two ladies working behind the bar were so friendly and very helpful, even though it was extremely busy and they were rushed off their feet they were still smiling and fun. A lovely pint of Guinness too.

Great little spot to watch the GAA. Really felt like a country local at home. Lady behind bar was incredibly efficient making sure no ones glass went dry despite being the only one working in a busy bar. Beers are a bit more on the expensive side for Nerja but nothing mad and happy to pay the extra euro or so to drink in good pub, with great service and plenty of screens to watch the sport.

Cozy little Irish bar near ! Went there for the rugby Ireland vs Scotland and it was packed , there’s 3 tellys so we could all watch the match . Even though it was so busy the owner and the other staff lady were doing table service making it so much easier and enjoyable! Not bad Guinness ! Bring cash , there’s a sing at the door they don’t do cards .

Had best pork chop ever. Beautiful atmospheric garden to dine in. Fantastic food & and first class service. Going back before we go home Fist post September 2017. Went back twice during visit in March 2018 and on both occasions had beautifully presented and well cooked food. The weather unfortunately was mainly cold, wet and windy, but we sat in a lovely warm room, heated by a huge log fire and got two drinks for the price of one as we ordered before 8pm. Definitely going back during our next visit in May.

The food in this restaurant is too cheap and it shows. I ordered a gammon steak and it was thinner than a piece of bacon, my wife ordered a sirloin steak and it was tasteless and although supposed to be cooked medium it was bone dry, the peppered sauce came on a separate plate (strange) and tasted like no other peppered sauce we have ever tried. The ambiance is nice but the food is awful, it resembles food cooked by a non professional chef, having a go. We have been coming to Nerja, 3 - 4 times a year since 2003 and this was the worst meal we have ever had in this town, if it's too cheap there will be a price to pay.

We had a lovely meal here the other evening. It boasts the best fish and chips and it was definitely the nicest that I have had anywhere! We had a small portion each which for us was plenty and the price of £20 including a bottle of wine was a bargain. We booked a table and sat outside on the terrace. We will definitely come again on our next visit to Nerja!

Fabulous Sunday lunch. Prices very reasonable. Think it's about €10, but a great Sunday lunch. 15 vegetables on when we went last week. We get a takeaway fish, chips and peas for 2 on a Friday and bottle of wine, all for €15. Good value and very tasty.

Visit the club on our stays in Nerja and on our most recent visit we were extremely disappointed with the general appearance of the place with broken pillars on patio with electrical wiring taped where lights were previously, now broken. The toilets were appalling and in very bad condition. It made us wonder if the kitchens were in the same shape. Who ever runs this place really needs to put some shape into it. We won't be returning any time soon.

We stopped by this beach bar specifically to try the paella, as locals had recommended it as a popular spot for great paella. We were definitely not disappointed – the portions were generous, with both prawns and chicken. The atmosphere itself lacked a bit of coziness, but it’s understandable given the large number of guests and the goal of serving everyone as quickly as possible. It was interesting to watch the staff working so smoothly and as a team, with each person focused on their own tasks. I would definitely come back here again for the paella.

Beautiful place with amazing views. The staff were nice and friendly. The salmon and entrecote steak were nice but the 1kg steak in the bone was at first undercooked so it was taken back and cooked a little more but it was full of sinew and fat so we actually left more than we could eat and the only winner with that was the dog as we took the bone home for him.

Fresh Paella at the beach. The portions are big for what you pay. A plate of paella with chicken and shrimps is €10,- Wich it’s full of. The staff is friendly and you’re served quickly.

We were tempted to try this restaurant because of the idea of paella being cooked over a fire, but don’t be fooled – avoid this place. The sangria was watered down, and the medium-sized juice was only 200ml. That wasn’t even the worst part. The paella itself was a huge disappointment – no vegetables at all, and the shrimp were undercooked. The décor was terrible – or rather, completely absent. Plastic chairs and tables just placed on sand, and the entire restaurant was extremely dark because of the covering they use. The atmosphere felt dirty and unpleasant. After receiving our drinks, we waited 30–40 minutes for food without being informed about the waiting time. In the meantime, another waiter took our condiments and gave them to a different table that arrived later but got their food earlier. Finally, when paying the bill (30.40 EUR), we gave 50.40 EUR. The bill was taken away without a word, and no change was returned. My husband had to chase the waiter to get the money back. Overall, a terrible experience. Definitely not recommended.

Unfortunately our salmon tartar was bad and my mom threw up afterwards at home (she had few bites). My noodles with squid ink were extremely salty. We returted the food and didn't have to pay for it, so that's at least good approach from the stuff. Beer was very very good.

You get a small tapa with a drink for 2€. It was delicious, perfect for lunch on the sunny day. Atmosphere was great. Thank you to the English couple we sit together.

The roast beef dinner was out of this world. Roast beef, mashed potatoes, roast potatoes, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, turnip, peas, gravy and yorkshire pudding. Like having Christmas dinner ! You have to go on Sunday night and see the Flying Dolphins. Amazing band that plays all the best hits. Singing, dancing and all round great time. I will be back every Sunday! Thanks everyone !

On family holiday, Miguel sat 11 of us with no reservation and provided the most amazing service we experienced in Nerja. Very accommodating to our children and the entire staff was lovely. The food was an absolute 11/10 from fresh bread, to appetizers and the chicken skewers were amazing. Highly recommend! Thank you Miguel!

Such a festive place. Lots of groups of locals here. Sometimes live music. You do worry the first time coming here, but yes there is a restaurant behind the boat yard. The owner is bbq -ing all the lovely fish they have to offer and he is apparently the master of the pallella. Service is friendly but could be a little faster

Lovely little friendly place with very nice staff and great service. We had breakfast here a few times and came for a few drinks. Both the regular cooked breakfast and veggie breakfast were really tasty and great value for money. Coffee is also very nice. There are a few TVs if sport is on and just a really nice atmosphere. Great place for food and drink. All food cooked to order and tastes just like home. Kids loved the real mash potato, as opposed to the fries/chips they get everywhere else. Fantastic friendly service...a MUST place to go if visiting Nerja.

An incredible and must see spot in Nerja. The views from the balcon are breathtaking and a must see, especially at sunset. Its usually busy in high season so bare that in mind, but evening time/night time is a must. The area is bustling with people and sometimes has music and bands playing. There is always something going on in the town centre.

Don’t miss it if you’re in the area. Amazing views, restaurants close by and near the old town of Nerja. Bit too crowded though, in off season it should be much pleasant, with few people around 🤣

Probably the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in Spain. I should have walked away when the waitress looked at us when we entered and continued to chat to her friends. We found ourselves a table by the window. The only way I can describe the food is like school dinners. No flavour, just plonked on to the plate. The ice cream was served to me in a plastic container with the lid still on! We did not feel welcome and there was no service whatsoever. The only reason I’m giving it 1 star is because of the view!

Went in for their meal of the day 3 course with a good selection for 13 euros. Was busy but didn't have to wait long for food. We had gazpacho to start, home made Lasagne and a caramel mousse. Food was very nice and lasagne hot. Food as a lunch was just right.

The food was super good and the croissant seemed fresh. However it took 40 minutes to receive 1 pan con tomate and 2 jamón con tomate sándwiches and the eggs and bacon took almost an entire hour to come. Lovely views, but the wait time made this an overall negative experience.

Visited the Buskers last night hoping to see some football whilst on holiday. Sadly no football, but an absolutely banging night. Live music at 10pm, Alberto was fantastic. The staff were excellent, and super friendly as you would expect from the Irish. Guinness was tip top, very healthy measures of vodka and an atmosphere that was brilliant. Thank you for a cracking night.

Absolutely fabulous! Newly refurbished, lovely big openplan kitchen and lounge with view to the sea. The location really couldn't be better! We're enjoying 2 nights here, and though it's overcast and windy in most of Andalucía today, one can quite comfortably sit on the outside terrace shielded from wind and rain. I'm thoroughly enjoying sitting outside enjoying a coffee and a ciggie while listening to the roar of the ocean. There's a lovely hotel restaurant just a few meters away to the left, and a lovely little, chiringuito to the right... all just a stones throw from the beach and promenade. We walked slowly to El Balcón de Europa to have lunch, all nicely paved and level, no hills or steep streets to climb, and lots of little cafes to take a little rest, or to just sit and enjoy the moment.
