Walking into Ayo Nerja, you are transported to a warm and inviting Mediterranean restaurant. The intimate setting allows for a more personal dining experience, with the option to eat right on the beachfront. The extensive menu offers a variety of regional seafood dishes as well as baked fideuà noodles. From paellas cooked over an open flame to more flavourful options, there is something for everyone at this popular Nerja restaurant.
The place was super busy but well organized. There was a line to get in but it moves quickly and all the food came super quick. Food was good quality and large portion. Paella is popular with chicken and seafood. Not much ambiance with plastic chairs but it's a chirringuito de playa so it's usually like this anyway.

Really good place. Basic seating, no frills service and great value paella gets my vote.
It's not a posh place and it's not fine dining but it is decent tasty food at a good price and watching them cook the paellan for s an experience.

We stopped by this beach bar specifically to try the paella, as locals had recommended it as a popular spot for great paella. We were definitely not disappointed – the portions were generous, with both prawns and chicken.
The atmosphere itself lacked a bit of coziness, but it’s understandable given the large number of guests and the goal of serving everyone as quickly as possible.
It was interesting to watch the staff working so smoothly and as a team, with each person focused on their own tasks.
I would definitely come back here again for the paella.
Beautiful place with amazing views. The staff were nice and friendly. The salmon and entrecote steak were nice but the 1kg steak in the bone was at first undercooked so it was taken back and cooked a little more but it was full of sinew and fat so we actually left more than we could eat and the only winner with that was the dog as we took the bone home for him.
Fresh Paella at the beach. The portions are big for what you pay. A plate of paella with chicken and shrimps is €10,- Wich it’s full of.
The staff is friendly and you’re served quickly.
Loved seeing the huge paellas being made. Tasted very good too. A perfect place for lunch on a beach day.

We were tempted to try this restaurant because of the idea of paella being cooked over a fire, but don’t be fooled – avoid this place.
The sangria was watered down, and the medium-sized juice was only 200ml. That wasn’t even the worst part.
The paella itself was a huge disappointment – no vegetables at all, and the shrimp were undercooked.
The décor was terrible – or rather, completely absent. Plastic chairs and tables just placed on sand, and the entire restaurant was extremely dark because of the covering they use. The atmosphere felt dirty and unpleasant.
After receiving our drinks, we waited 30–40 minutes for food without being informed about the waiting time. In the meantime, another waiter took our condiments and gave them to a different table that arrived later but got their food earlier.
Finally, when paying the bill (30.40 EUR), we gave 50.40 EUR. The bill was taken away without a word, and no change was returned. My husband had to chase the waiter to get the money back.
Overall, a terrible experience. Definitely not recommended.

The most local experience I've had in Nerja. Great simple authentic tapas. Order a drink, choose your free tapa. Prompt service as well, and they tolerated my butchered Spanish!

Had a very good meal at Bar El Pulguilla. There was a bit of confusion at the beginning—the staff initially didn’t want us sitting in the front section if we were only ordering tapas. Once that was clarified, we got seated and everything went smoothly from there. We ordered the fritura variada, grilled calamari, cod fish, langostinos, and a hamburger tapa. Every dish was delicious, especially the calamari and cod fish—we liked them so much we ordered both again. Prices are very reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.
The best local experience you can get! The service is amazing and super fast. They do speak English! Which is amazing. The menu is easy to read, there are food pics. This places serves many locals. We took beef, which was nothing special (we didn't expect anything facy for such price), but the food arrived fast and we did not have to wait long time for anything ar that spot.
A nice and lively place with great atmosphere. Feels authentic and the food was good. Not great but good. Service was good. But it is a place where you get the feeling of in and out.
Traditional restaurant in a touristic area. They have lots of table in the back of the restaurant so just come in. Dinner was nice we tried lots of half portion and all of them were tasty and good. Service was nice they are well organise. Almost no waiting. Prices were correct. I would recommend if you are looking for tradionnal Andalusian meals.

This place is off the hook busy with insane amounts of people. But the food is delicious and the service is prompt and polite. The price is reasonable. Tomatoes salad was good but the octopus and the calamari was some of the best I ever had. While this place is not particularly fancy and is definitely touristy, it gets 5 stars because it handles the crowds well, the food is delicious, the music is good, the price is right and the atmosphere is fun.

Bakus is a popular restaurant in Nerja, known for its artfully presented tapas and southern Spanish meat and fish dishes. Food is very good and extremely filling, we could have easily gone with out starters. The male servers were very friendly but the lady at front of house has an air of arrogance about her which is unexplainable. Tried to make a reservation but told booked out for many days ahead, turned up on the night only to be seated. Witnessed others coming in to try make reservations for following days and immediately being told they were booked up. Either they are short staffed and trying to keep down the number of diners or else they base their decision on your appearance, what ever it was; it created a strange atmosphere. Would I return? Yes based on the quality of the food, but I wouldn’t rush when compared to the amount of extremely welcoming restaurants in Nerja.
Absolutely amazing experience all around. Went for my birthday dinner and the staff were absolutely fantastic.
There were no seats left outside when reserving but they managed to get us one, we got a free aparatif of a delicious fish cake.
The actual dinner was just fantastic. I got the duck and it was just an amazing mix of savoury from the duck with a sweeter sauce and sweet potato mash alongside. Drinks were cheep with a lot of varieties of wine to choose from.
For dessert as well they came out with an icecream with a candle in it to celebrate.
All the staff were just so lovely and really did their best to make it as fantastic of a night as possible. Not to mention the beautiful scenery and great opportunities for people watching.

We had an issue with flies/ bugs/ insects whatever you want to call them and unfortunately they staff didn't seem to care. Being from the UK , having to kill 23 bugs on my table during dinner, is an issue. Especially when no other tables seemed to be experiencing the same level of issues.
Anyway, despite raising the issue 3 times, no resolution was sought and no one seemed to care.

The Service is 100/100; the ambiance of the restaurant is perfect, and most importantly, the food is possibly the nicest food we have ever experienced.
My wife had a starter of scallops and a main of Turbot, both of which she loved.
I had a starter of chicken, walnut and pear salad and main of fillet steak in teriyaki and black mushroom sauce. Both were stunning in taste and presentation.
This is fine dining but at everyday prices. Amazing value for money.

Excellent food and service. Great sea views outside. Scallops were very nice. Sea bass & cod delicious. The caramelised fennel was divine. Vegetables cooked too hard for our liking, very crunchy. But maybe that’s personal preference? Brownie v nice, especially the praline ice cream. Complimentary cava at the end was a lovely touch.
We had the cod and the salmon and they didn’t disappoint. Super fresh ingredients and very tasty. Generous portions as well.

Bar Redondo is Nerja's most popular bar for tapas, with a relaxed and convivial atmosphere. It features a circular bar, plus outdoor seating around wine barrels. The menu includes a variety of tapas to accompany a drink, and the atmosphere is perfect for summer evenings.
Only a week's stay in Nerja and I have already been twice. I'll probably go again before I head home. Welcoming staff, cool spot in the narrow lanes, tables outside and in. And the free tapas that come free with each drink are delicious, as well as the larger-portion rationes. Great relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Our favourite restaurant in Nerja. Tapas are absolutely delicious, the ones with the drinks and the main tapas. The veal is delicious 🤤 we went twice and we’ll definitely be back.
Pretty busy restaurant. Took a while to get seated, but if you think it’s full it probably isn’t. There’s lots of seats in the very back. There’s also a rooftop patio, but it was very hot.
The service wasn’t great. All of the servers were running around like chickens with their heads cut off, going one place to another. Don’t expect five star fancy service. They were trying. We had to get our own forks and plates as they didn’t serve them to us.
However, the lack of service was made up for by the incredible tapas. Everything was amazing, and so different (coming from Canada). The eggplant fries were something I’ve never tried before and were such a good idea. Grilled Squid was also awesome.

Our favourite tapas bar in Spain! We traveled for 7 days around and nowhere could beat this place. You order any drink (water included) and you get a free tapas! Drinks are cheap and they have a large selection of beer and wines to choose from. We had a variety of tapas and them all were delicious - really high quality. They range from seafood to pork and beef tapas. The experience is really nice! The service is also very good, attentive and kind waiters (even that they are absolutely busy). Also tapas come quite quickly- it is really good. We absolutely loved this place and can’t recommend enough!
Great tapas bar where you buy a drink and can choose a free tapas. All tapas we had were very tasty and of a high quality. We went almost everyday of our stay and had fast and efficient service.

Great food lovely service, a very good choice of Tapas to order to come with your drink. There is also a larger menu if you would like a bigger meal. Some wonderful barrel tables outside on the pavement with stools around. Very friendly stuff a definite recommendation when visiting Nerja

Such a gem 😋 Amazing food and very good service (our waiter Asan from Senegal was super friendly and very nice). We tried the fried octopus, tomato with garlic (it’s a loooot of garlic , very nice but you can’t eat all that 😅) . The prawns were also delicious! Also they gave a complimentary tapas , like a little burger and it was so so good 😋 Good value and good portions, 100% recommended 👏🏾

We had dinner there last night and it was the best meal I’ve had in the entire time in Spain. My partner does not generally eat seafood, but also thought all of the food incredibly delicious. We had the sardines (the highlight), the tomatoes and garlic, which was so flavorful, and we absolutely loved the clams cooked in a white wine, garlic sauce, as well as the prawns in the garlic sauce. The bread and aïoli were also magnificent.

Fantastic place. Delicious food, great prices, generous portions and amazing service. Their tinto de Verano is very nice. We ended up having one of the best dinner of our stay here. We ordered sardines, fried octopus, fried fish, and a grilled calamari. It was too much food and we had to get a take away box, which was perfect as lunch for the next day.
It’s a definitely 5 stars restaurant! A gem 💎 in the small town.

Food was good, but felt a bit overpriced. The atmosphere felt genuine and lively but this is not the place you go for a date or a dinner experience. Chairs, table cloths, silverware etc all very basic and cheap.
Tapas with a modern twist. Menu is not extensive, which did promise tasty food. Lots of locals eating here from 21pm. We really liked the food, especially their home made croquettes. This can be daily of different ingredient, we had aubergine croquettes which was sublime.
However, the prices are above average and the atmosphere is so so (terrace situated next to a street with lots of cars and inside minimal cosy vibe). Best is to do a sharing concept so that you can try various bites & flavours together

Discovered this cozy restaurant nestled in Nerja, where we indulged in delectable tapas. Their wine, priced at 2€90 per glass, added to the experience. It's a place I hope to revisit again soon.

There is lots of outside seating available and the staff are very attentive. A standout cosy bar in Nerja and one that everyone should pop into during their walk into or out of town.

A lovely tiny bar at a small street. Perfect to get some regional food also well known as tapas. The taste of the cheese plate as well as the ham mix plate are perfect. Combine this with a glass of red wine, you will have a nice evening.

We had the most amazing meal last night. The flavors were absolutely divine, and the presentation was impeccable. Each dish was crafted with such care and attention to detail, it was truly a culinary experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made our evening even more special. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant for many more memorable meals.

We had a really nice Christmas dinner at Sollun. We picked the 5 course set menu "sol" with wine pairing. Nice atmosphere, good service. Food was very good, but not mind-blowing. Good price/quality though! Favorite course was the deer, paired with a cab sav from the North of Spain.
What an absolutely amazing restaurant, an absolutely must visit for all foodies whilst in Nerja.

My sister booked a table for us at Sollun. It was our first time there. The staff were super nice and friendly, they’re good with kids too. We looked through the menu and our waiter was more than helpful suggesting dishes and explaining everything. First the amuse-bouche was cream cheese cones with mackerel and crispy onion. The presentation as well as the taste were amazing. Later for our appetizers, we ordered beef tartare and scallops. They divided it into four portions for us (we were four). My sister ordered the pigeon in orange glaze something and she absolutely loved it. As for me and her kids, we all ordered the steak. Again the kids shared a dish, but the chef prepared it seoerately as of it was a single order, cutting the steak in half with all the garnish and sides. My steak was cooked to perfection! The chefs comes in with the staff to hand the dishes himself and to give mini explanations. For dessert we ordered the Lemon meringue dish, which is similar to deconstructed lemon pie, and the passion fruit one! Both were amazing, specially the passion fruit one! Definitely recommending it to friends and hopefully will be back there soon on my next trips to Nerja
Overall, food was excellent but the service let it down. I read a previous review straight after dining and it was if the reviewer had dined with us - it described our experience exactly.
Food wise, the Iberian pork was exquisite. Wine pairings explained and complemented food perfectly.
Issue was service, although I suspect it was due to getting all the tables that arrived at different times on to the same service cycles. Unfortunately this meant we had to wait 1 hour before we were served the first course (after bread) and first wine pairing.
It's a shame - should be an overall 5 star experience!
Very average experience. Perhaps the bar had been set too high following an exceptional meal the previous night at Restaurant Oliva but it got off to a disappointing start. As another reviewer below also experienced, the female waitress has absolutely no people skills and gives off the vibe that she doesn’t want to be there. The sommelier on the other hand has so much passion and knowledge and selects very interesting wines.
We sat for a good 5 minutes without a menu, it’s basic service that a menu is the first thing you give someone as soon as they sit down, even though we knew we wanted the tasting menu. It all felt too slow to begin with that left a bitter taste in my mouth for the rest of the night. It took 30 minutes before we seen the ‘snack’, thankfully food came a little quicker after that!
The pork cheek was fantastic, and we really enjoyed the dessert, starters were also good but the fish course was very bland. Overall the food was good not great and certainly not a patch on our previous nights experience.
Lastly I felt the restaurant lacked a bit of atmosphere, I can’t put my finger on exactly what it was. Maybe I would return in the future to give it a second chance but I won’t be rushing back sadly.
I'd give the food six stars if I could, it was that good.
If you want to treat yourself in Nerja, this is the place I'd recommend. We tried a few of other higher end places to break up the tapas meals, but this was by far the best food and drink options.
This restaurant is exceptional. The taster menu was excellent as was the wine pairing under the wise selection of the amazing super Mario. His knowledge of Spanish wines and ability to pair them with delicious food is a masterclass for others to aspire to. The evening was superb and significantly enriched by Mario’s encyclopaedic knowledge and highly articulate descriptions. Best in Nerja ! PS you must try their superb limited edition Brandy, great value and amongst the best available.

Nice beach, fun vibes. Lots of activities. Parking a bit difficult but doable. Lots of beds are reserved so apparently that's a thing. You can reserve a bed ahead of time. The water is nice and blue and clear. The surroundings are beautiful. Medium to high in terms of how busy it is

We visited twice. In the first day the water was very calm and the beach had pebbles - 2 days later the beach was sandy and the water cold and “angry”. The entrance in the water is pretty deep. At every 2 steps the difference is more than 50cm depth. After 2 meters I wasn’t touching the bottom anymore.
The color is wonderful, a very clean turquoise.
If you want sun-beds you have to come early and you still might have low chances because people do reservations in advance. But there is room on the beach for towels and own umbrella if you are inspired enough to bring one.
The beach is set in a stunning natural landscape, with soft sand and a very welcoming atmosphere. There is free parking available right next to the beach, though it’s best to arrive early as spaces fill up quickly. On-site, you’ll find public restrooms and free water stations, which is a great convenience. There are also plenty of options nearby to grab a meal or enjoy a refreshing drink. For those looking for activities, you can rent a kayak or simply relax under a parasol with sunbeds. Overall, it’s a beautiful spot and definitely a place worth returning to.

Lots of parking but very hard to find a free spot, but with pacience it can be done.
The entrace in the sea water is kind of rough, water gets over your dead pretty fast from the shore.

We arrived here at the beach around 1 PM and none of the beach clubs had any places left as they were already full and we couldn’t rent any sunbeds or umbrellas, so instead of leaving this beach, we decided to buy beach chairs and a umbrella from a store nearby which costed us around hundred euros for two people, but this allowed us to pick a spot that we would prefer a bit further from people.
The water is very cold I would say but the beach is well organized with showers and many bars or restaurants around it so you could really enjoy your beach day but maybe if you’re really into swimming not really the best place to be.
Lively and buzzing family beach. Great reasonably priced restaurants. Clean and free toilets. Definitely recommend the kayaking, which is great fun. Pedalos are great fun too…as long as a sudden squall does not appear. One of my favourite European family beaches.
Absolutely lovely beach. Nice shops and restaurants. Crushed stone like sand but beautiful crystal clear water when calm.

Man, this place has a long way to go to live up to what it was with the previous owner. We always go to Mo's when we come to Nerja but we won't be rushing back next time. Our kids were served raw chicken and to be honest our own food wasn't great. Some things were nice but certain things weren't. For example the tropical salad doesn't even compare to what it was before. Currently its way overpriced for the quality of what you get......sorry folks, but a big disappointment from a long term customer.
Myself, husband and two children (13 &8) had the most beautiful meal here ! We ordered a selection of dishes to share each one we were equally impressed with ranging from black pudding and apple, musssles , prawns and duck ( plus some others). The food was exceptional alongside the service !!

Small plates we had were pretty low quality.
The mini spice burgers were awful. Absolutely mush / paste with no spice about them and only 1 tiny bread bun between 3 pates.
The spicy prawns were overcooked and the padron peppers were also poor, overcooked as was the egg.
Service was pleasant and they took the burgers off the bill.
To top it off they were unable to take card payment which they did not disclose until asking for the bill .
Ironically the best thing about the experience was the free avocado and prawn taster.
We hoped for so much better.

We stayed in a nearby hotel and numerous guests told us we absolutely had to try Mo's. Well, what can I say, what an amazing experience - really intimate restaurant, lots of selection on the menu, great recommendations provided to us as well as a complimentary dish. Everything was so fresh and tasty and the wine was to die for. Highly recommend a visit here.
If you’re looking for traditional Spanish fair… this is not the place. However, if you want something delicious, quirky, and modern- this is the perfect spot! I loved eating here, it was so welcoming and fun, the food seemed high end, well prepared and had culinary style. I didn’t catch the name of the waiter but he was super helpful and kind- made the whole experience better (which is saying a lot because the duck speaks volumes) All in all, make a reservation or wander in, you won’t regret it.

We ordered a small portion of tuna salad, which turned out to be not so small — more than enough for two ladies. We also had baby squid and octopus legs. The baby squid were grilled, and it seemed the ends were slightly overcooked, as they tasted a bit bitter. Overall, not bad. Maybe there are tastier dishes on the menu. The waiter didn’t speak English, so placing the order was a bit difficult.
I have choose this place as reviews were great, when I arrived only 1 person was present on the floor, who stretched himself between serving food, drinks, sitting new tables, taking orders, cleaning etc.

I decided to try aubergine with honey-was not impressed and couldnt finish a small portion -its massive!
Manchego cheese served just 6 slices of cheese, not jam or honey with it as you get used to it.
Pil pil lagostinos-overpriced and doesn’t worth it, dirty inside and not so many for the price, you can try better pil pil somewhere else.
Where do I start?
It’s a local, Spanish, simple amazing place to come to. We have the wonderful staff, one of them David (in the pic), what a kind, lively and sweet man! The feeling you get when you come here is incredible - it’s like coming home to your family! They have fresh fish, great tapas, actually anything you order is great. Please try the baby calamares, the pork skewers and the Pil-Pil! If you wanna feel the love of Spain - a visit here is a MUST. My family have been in Nerja several years - my mom says the calamares (not fried) is the best she ever eaten in Nerja.

This was our first lunch at this restaurant, and honestly, I expected a bit more.
The rejos were tasty and the tuna salad was fresh, which I appreciated.
However, the Petits Calmars seemed overcooked — at least they looked a bit burnt and had a noticeable bitter aftertaste.
All in all, not terrible, but I believe there are better options around.
Prawn Pil Pil is among the best I've ever had. Tuna salad is big enough for 2 and so so fresh. Would defo recommend. Also the grilled chicken and French fries are top notch 👌

Booking is recommended, especially if you are keen to get seated outside. We booked for 19:30 and it was a perfect level of atmosphere without seeming too busy.

The starter was good, but the main course was really disappointing. The Argentine beef was tough and lacked flavor. I think they sliced it too early, because all the juices ended up pooling on the plate, almost like a soup. They should have let the meat rest longer.

Outstanding food in Nerja. Best meal that we had in our 4 days here. Friendly staff, lots of great wine by the glass, cava sangria was amazing. Ravioli, beet salad, truffle penne, and beef lion were all perfection. Definitely a must for anyone visiting. We had a table for 5 and they were able to fit us inside around 8 pm on a Monday.
Amazing!! Delicious food and great ambiance. So nice to meet Michael and the rest of the very friendly staff. Would recommend everything we ate. Absolutely amazing. Went here for my last night in Nerja with my spouse and was not disappointed at all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and me and my spouse shared lots of laughs with them throughout our night. We visited El Refugio as a group of friends and had a fantastic experience. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented — you can tell a lot of care goes into every dish. Staff is really great and go above and beyond to give you a fun experience ans put a smile on your face but the food really is a bit of a flop. We ordered a paella that tasted exactly like the frozen one you can buy at the supermarket... was craving for an authentic dish but was very disappointed in the overall food...and ohi, the bill!

It is strongly advisable to pre book during summer months, many people got turned away while we was there due to being full (16/09/25). This is a very good restaurant. You have to book in advance but you can do this via email so it’s easy. We had the paella, steaks and lamb and everyone’s meal was perfect. There is a good atmosphere among the staff and you can tell they enjoy their job. Thank you!

The menú del día is hard to beat. €12.50 for a huge amount of food: an appetizer, three curries, rice or naan, and a dessert. We tried the samosas and the onion bhaji as appetizers. Both are very generous portions (2 large samosas, 4 onion bhaji) and both were quite good. For the main, you choose two of the three curries. The two curries I ordered were alright: the shrimp madras, which was tasty, and the paneer tikka masala, which was far too sweet for my taste (but I like my Indian food savory and spicy, unlike the sweet version you often find in Spain). The 3rd curry (no choice) was a lentil soup which was mostly water and a large piece of zucchini. Nothing was spicy in the least, which was disappointing for me. By far the worst part was the “dessert”, which was just a bowl of semolina. It was flavorless and sat untouched. Unfortunately, the server brought it to the table without asking if we wanted it or telling us what it was. If we’d known it was going to be a bowl of semolina, we would’ve just passed on the dessert since we were both so full already from the appetizers and main course. Overall, it’s a cheap, decent place to eat a large quantity of food. But it’s far from the best Indian restaurant in the area.
when we arrived (without a booking during quite a busy period of 9-10pm) we were greeted with enthusiasm and accommodation. they easily seated our party of 6 and the service for us all throughout the night was impeccable. I would recommend this restaurant not only for the fantastic food but for the humorous staff and calming atmosphere. Additionally, at the end of my evening they graciously gifted us 6 free shots of limoncello. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit here and would recommend to others 🩷

I went there looking at reviews and turnout to be a disaster
1. Samsosa , chiken pakora , were extremely oily ( fried dishes do hv oil but it was ozzing oil )
2. Food colouring : the red colour used in food was artificial
3. They offer 12 euro thali which is great value for money but there has to be some quality in it.
4 jeera rice had so much jeera which can be used to make 6 serving of jeera rice

Absolutely loved this place! We were so impressed by the variety on the menu—especially the vegan options. They even had vegan mozzarella, which was such a treat! They also cater for coeliacs, which makes it a great spot for all dietary needs.
We ended up coming here for the last few nights of our trip to Nerja because we enjoyed it so much. The drinks are amazing—delicious and great value!
On our first night, we had the vegetarian pizza with Aperol Spritz (perfection), and on the second night, we went for pasta and, of course, more Aperol.
The staff were absolutely lovely, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. They also accommodate large groups, which is such a bonus.

Good food, but some details could be improved
We ate at this Italian restaurant and overall had a nice experience. I had the Torino pizza, which was excellent — flavorful, nicely baked, and made with good ingredients. My girlfriend ordered the Caesar salad, but unfortunately the dressing was overly rich and quite greasy — honestly, it was a bit sickening.
The terrace is spacious and pleasant, but there’s a strange rule about smoking: you’re not allowed to smoke at your table, even though it’s all outdoors. Instead, they send you to a random ashtray placed in the middle of the terrace — which feels a bit awkward, especially after a meal. It would make more sense to let people smoke at their own table or at least offer individual ashtrays.
Despite these issues, the food was good and the place deserves 4 stars. Just a few small changes could make the whole experience much better.

Usually when holidaying abroad, Indian Restaurants can be a bit of a hit-n-miss, usually delivering crappy food.
Not here, their food was REALLY good 👍👍 The taste of the spices, the quality of the Meat, awesome Roti's - all of it was delicious 😎 (and they sell Bottled Cobra just like back in the UK 👍🤣)

We wanted to have some nice indian food while we spent our time in Nerja. We ended up going to this restaurant 2 nights in a row. When we ordered our drinks, they arrived accompanying a complementary starter dish, which was some kind of crispy condiment with different kinds of sauces. The sauces were very flavorful.
There was a wide variety of dishes on the menu, so we decided on having different dishes on each day. Both meals we had were delicious.
Also I would like to point out that the service was quick, even though there were only two people serving the terrace. Nothing but respect for the work they put in, serving the many people that visit this restaurant every day.
When we asked for the bill, we received a shot of liqour on the house of our choice.
Definitely visit this restaurant if you like Indian food and like to be served with outstanding hospitality. I recommend their chicken vindaloo if you like your food spicy!
In the center of Nerja it is not easy to find restaurants that are not too touristic. How happy we were to find this nice restaurant on our way. The facade is not the most commercial one in the street, but the food is just fantastic. For lovers of Indian or Nepalese food we can certainly recommend this place. If you are not known with the menu, the very friendly staff will certainly help you with some suggestions. When back in Nerja, we certainly will return to this restaurant. Also the prices are very reasonable !!

On a recent trip to Nerja I visited Namaste twice and could not recommend it enough. The staff were so welcoming and accommodating. On both occasions we had around 10 people in our party and this was no problem. Our food came promptly and everything was incredible, some of the best Indian/Nepalese food I’ve ever had. Our evening was even topped off with free limoncello shots.

Very beautiful location, right beside the Church of San Antonio, so aptly named La Taberna del Sacristàn. Very relaxing and the waiters all had a great command of a lot of European languages.
As we were going out to dinner later, we just had a plate of local meats and cheese with a glass of Rose. So tasty. The table coverings outside were lovely and complimented the surroundings
Inside was a lot bigger that it looked and very full.
Everyone was working so hard, and even under pressure the staff were still so polite.

This place is class. We arrived in Frigiliana around lunch time and spent the afternoon mooching about. We were not overly hungry but decided to call in and have a glass of wine about 19:30. In the end we decided to ask for the menu and it did not disappoint, the food was delicious along with the service.
I’m normally not someone who would bother with writing a review but I just felt like this restaurant deserves it. We have 6 days to go so let’s hope the standard is across the board.
Quick tip: have the melon and Iberico it’s the finest.
The sword fish and pork kebab was very special also 🤞
There is also a young lad who is very helpful with the wine so double points to this place.

The carpaccio was flavorful, drizzled with just the right amount of oil, paired perfectly with rocket salad, and topped with a delicate pastry—a fun little surprise. The carbonara was rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor. A heads-up: it’s quite indulgent, so if you're not into rich pastas, it might not be your go-to. The ox cheeks were incredibly tender and melted in the mouth, with a rich, delicious gravy that tied the dish together beautifully. We also appreciated the complimentary limoncello shots at the end—a lovely touch.

I realize portions are small in Europe, but for approximately 9 Euros you can offer enough pasta to make a little kid full. Not even expecting any sides next to it like in the U.S.

This place came highly recommended on an FB group I joined, and it did not disappoint. Firstly I'd recommend booking. We were lucky and the friendly helpful staff found us a table even without a booking, but it was obviously a very popular restaurant.
We had a drink at the bar while our table was prepared, a dark rum and coke and a Bacardi and coke. These were probably the largest measures we were served during our stay in Nerja. We were off to a good start.
We started with poppadoms and the pickle tray. The poppadoms were warm, fresh, and crispy, and the accompaniments were excellent. The mango chutney and lime pickle were outstanding.
We did not order starters, just main courses. A Chicken Shashlik, a Chicken Rogan Josh, Pillau Rice, and a plain Naan.
Rogan Josh is my mum's first choice when ordering curries, and she said this was up with the best she'd had. My Shashlick came on a sizzling platter. Large pieces of chicken, charred onion, and red & green peppers. The chicken was juicy and very tasty, although I did nick a bit of my mum's Rogan Josh sauce as I do like some sauce with my Shashlik.
The Naan was perfect with scorched blisters showing it has been traditionally cooked. The pillau rice was also spot on.
The service throughout the meal was brilliant. The waiter and waitress were friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and our evening was rounded off nicely with a complimentary liqueur.
I would definitely recommend a visit to Taste of India.

We visited last night for a family of nine, it was for my in laws 70th. Service was brilliant and helpful. I would give this a 4.5 but it doesn’t allow. The food was very nice although the masala wasn’t as flavourable as all the other dish’s.

Notes: Closed all day Tuesday. Opens at 19:00 other weekdays, and open for Lunch Saturday & Sunday only. It might be a good idea to book during busy periods, but we've never failed to be offered a table tbh.
Overall, very disappointing experience. The food is average at best: maybe the best in Nerja, but still nothing to write home about. It is ironic that a restaurant whose name is "taste of India" serves tasteless food. It is quite difficult with Indian food... After you wait 50-60 minutes for the food, it is a huge disappointment. Not worth the wait. The staff is nice and polite, but the service is extremely slow, probably because there is too little staff for such a huge workload. Waiting 15 minutes for the bill is very long. Then waiting another 15 minutes to actually make the payment is just wrong...

A bit hidden in the street and the high rating triggered our curiosity as we like trying out different Italian places in the neighbourhood. We didn't understand the high rating but I guess taste & service depends all on personal experience and the combination of it. Definitely a value place for what you eat, no doubt on that but the flavours could be better. Definitely highly recommend the tiramisu if you like to try out this place
A lucky gem we found - a cosy restaurant a little outside of the main tourist spots! The madam is lovely and we had a very pleasant time. The table is spacious and the food very good. We had the melon and ham entree and pasta, both among the best I’ve had in general.
This is the best Italian job in Nerja! Loredana & Ivan are cooking and serving with love for their food & and their guests. We have visited them about 4 times, selecting fresh sole, various meat and also pizzas from their menu. All of it is very well done! However, their Tiramisu is the best in this part of the world! Don't miss out on this treat.
The place was completely empty when we arrived we were thinking to go to another place but luckily we chose to gamble and stay.

During our stay we saw alot of people hesitating if they should go in or not. I think the restaurant need to fix better lightning outside so people are sure that it its open, and make sure you can see that there are people inside the restaurant.

I went back two days in a row, the first time for fettuccine frutti del mar (amazing) and the second time for the “Don Chisciotte” pizza (decadent). This is a wonderful place and the service and quality of the food is excellent. The restaurant is whitewashed with white tablecloths and proper napkins. It's definitely worth a visit. There is a lot of attention to detail and everything is so fresh.

This place was very, very good. The tuna was excellent and cooked to perfection. It had a press on it, which made the glaze of the tuna, red and amazing. The vegetable stew that came with the tuna tasted like my grandmother’s cooking back at home. The people wear very nice and wear, loving and kind. The salad was very fresh like it came from their backyard. it did. Everything was super fresh and I loved it. You should definitely come eat here for the local food and produce.
The special for that day was squid and I got to say it was among the best squid I ever had! Our apetizer of bread and salad was simple and I! The shrimps we ordered were okay but the rest was amazing! Can't forget the service. Some had problems with English but the head server was wonderful! Really recommend this restaurant

If you are looking for a casual but delicious dinner, this is the place to go. Simple but very tasty food, mostly grilled. The staff is also super nice and you can choose to sit in- or outside. If inside, you can watch your food being prepared
If you are nearby you must come. We ordered the calamar nacional, gambones, croquetas, boquerones, gambas al pil pil, lamb chops, and everything was delicious. Service was top notch too. Inside they have ceiling fans which are better than being outside in the scorching heat.

We came in because we saw a “free tapa with every drink” sign outside and it didn’t disappoint. The free tapa that came with our sangria was a puff pastry filled with goat cheese and some kind of sweet jam, it was so good!!! We also got some olives for free and we shared “langostinos al pil pil”/pil pil prawns (9,9€) and “huevos rotos con jamón ibérico” (9,5€), both tasted great and were served quickly.

Loved this place! Sat upstairs on the terrace. We were served bread and olives and a complimentary tapas dish - mine was vegan, couscous with vegetables. I opted for the houmous and quinoa wrap with salad (could have had it with chips) and it was gorgeously soft and tasty with the addition of sweet chilli sauce. Service was excellent, staff were lovely.
Great food. Service was best we'd seen in Nerja. Complimentary brandy at close of meal. Will come back to Gloria Bendita as soon as we can !
The waiter was kind enough to let us order a very late lunch just before closing for siesta. The toasts were really nice, and the beer was well served. Prices reasonable for main street.

I can't relate to most of the comments I have just read. During our stay in Nerja we sat outside for drinks on three occasions (cheaper than any other bar in the centre of town) and had a delicious tapas lunch with drinks for under 10€ a head. Service maybe a little slow at times but deal with it !!! Don't get uptight with the waiters. If you're not happy, go elsewhere. And, regarding another review I just read, it would be appropriate to wear more than a bikini top when sitting at a restaurant table in the centre of town.
Wanted a coffee & a couple of drinks we saw on their website it opens at 11.30 sat down after 10 minutes we were spoken to in Spanish as we’ve got dark hair, they weren’t open for drinks & I said it says on your website it opens 11.30, was very aggressive with us I wondered if he’d be like this if we were men, then if we wanted drinks go inside again aggressive. Absolutely no business sense at all. How did he know if after drinks we might of wanted food no wonder it has so many bad reviews.

The fries are soft and the calamari is like rubber. The croquettes are not recommended at all, no matter in what form. We were here today again, the service is impossible. Great food, and very good price. Had 7 tapas between 2 adults and a child, 3 drinks and paid €26. Unbelievably good value. The food was good. A little surprised that potatas con aioli was cold and more like a potato salad, but a very nice potato salad. Potatas bravas was ok but not as nice as other places, chicken skewers, chorizo and the meatballs however were all amazing. Good place to people watch as well making this the perfect option for lunch or an afternoon snack.

I’ve been coming to Nerja for the last 10 years and always visit the Biznaga but this year something has changed. The service was awful, wouldn’t serve us food outside whilst others were eating outside. The staff were rude and it’s quite clear they no longer welcome British people, which is a shame because previously the food, service and atmosphere were lovely.

We read great reviews for this place and decided to give it a go on our last night, we arrived about 7:30 and they were fully booked! However we were offered a seat at the bar which was actually fantastic - could see the meats being cooked. Service was amazing with a great sense of humour! We had the pork and steak and shared between two which was absolutely delicious. Atmosphere was great, three other pairs sat at the bar who also didn’t have reservations and the rest of the place packed out! Book if you can, but a seat at the bar is just as good :)
Loved everything about this place, limited menu focusing on coal fired cooking. The owner Jorge is a master at his craft and seeing him in action is great to watch. He runs at 100 miles an hour with a smile on his face. The food is a standout. A breath of fresh air. Can’t wait to come back again

One of my favorite treats in Nerja is Good Stuff Café for a late breakfast or early lunch. The fresh food and wonderful hot drinks are beyond delicious. The propieters and staff deliver warm, fun and friendly service. I had the amazing salmon quiche today with the trio of salads. The coleslaw is the best I’ve had. If there was a café like the “CHEERS” bar, this would be it.

A great little spot . We had been recommended here by friends who are regular visitors when visiting Nerja . We only went for coffee and cake on the way back from a morning trip to Frigliana where we had eaten already Having seen all the food being served to other diners I wish I had waited and eaten here instead as it all looked amazing . I was too late for the highly recommended Raspberry Cheesecake but on the advice of the extremely friendly young waitress I opted for the Carrot cake which along with the coffee was superb . Great service , great value and great food .
Easily the best place I have eaten in for a very long time. The quality of the food is exceptional, staff are friendly. There's a little corner with plenty of toys for kids, so an easy spot to visit for parents. Coffee is amazing here. I struggle with finding food that I really enjoy abroad and this place is my new safe haven. 100% recommend

I was here for breakfast and surprised by the quality of the breakfast muffins and scones - and the cakes, salads and burgers looked great. Bit sad I only discovered this place on my last day here!

"Rincon del Sabor" is a popular local restaurant known for its great food and service. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including delicious ribs, sea bass, pork sirloin, salads, shrimps, and paella. The portions are generous and the seafood paella is highly recommended but needs to be ordered in advance. The staff is attentive and friendly, providing excellent service. It's advisable to make reservations as the place tends to get busy with locals.
Genuinely the closest you can eat to local traditional food. All the staff was friendly and caring and the food was incredible! Wine as well! You should not miss paella which is heavenly made!! Top in Nerja and the whole Andalucia I would say.

We enjoyed lunch here on Sunday afternoon. We each had an ice cold glass of beer. Then I had chicken curry with chips, while my Mum had chicken in a Peppercorn sauce.
My curry was delicious. If I was to compare it to curries I've had back home in England, I would say it was more akin to a Chinese curry rather than an Indian one. The portion was so generous I barely managed to clear half my plate.
My Mum really enjoyed her chicken. The pepper sauce was mild and creamy and it was served with fries and a shredded slaw-style salad.
The service was excellent and the waiter was very helpful and friendly.
I would definitely visit again and perhaps try some of the fabulous looking fish they were serving.

This place was amazing - beautiful little patio outside and some of the best food we had in Nerja. We got the verde sandwich and the goat cheese salad plus some tea to share, and everything was delicious and affordable. Everyone working there was really friendly, as well. Overall great atmosphere. Popped in for a coffee, juice and cake. Service is SLOW- so be prepared. Ordered 2 cakes and only 1 arrived which was tasty. However Nothing was served at the same time and took an hour from time we arrived to when the 1st cake arrived. By the time my oh has polished off his cake mine has still not arrived so we paid our bill (had to chase waitress down) and left. Food was tasty but service was painfully slow. Other people left as well due to this.

Amazing! Kind workers, affordable and amazing food. The place is so pretty and my friends and I absolutely loved it. Good vegan/vegetarian options as well. I got the sandwich but I recommend getting a baguette, more filling and cheap, around €4. I also got a strawberry and banana smoothie, so yum!

I cannot begin to describe how wonderful this cozy little restaurant is. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left everything was exactly how a restaurant should be. Undoubtably the best place we came across in Nerja. This small team deliver on great service, exceptional food and drinks in such a traditional setting. The host made you feel very welcome with her friendly and attentive manner. Every dish that came out of that one man kitchen was sublime from the flavours to the way the food was presented. Hands down the best pork dish I’ve ever had and the Gambas Pil Pil was on another level! The wine we had was the best we’ve had the whole trip. This is what dining out is all about, my visit to this establishment will be remembered for a very long time. My only warning is your must book as it is a small restaurant and extremely popular, worth every single penny.
This was one of the best meals we had during our holidays. The owners are so nice and friendly, they made us feel very welcome from the beginning. We had trouble finding a parking spot and when I asked them for the closest parking lot they even moved their motorcycle to let us park there, this shows how they are willing to go the extra mile. The food was delicious and each plate had a beautiful decoration as well. I would highly recommend to make a reservation as we saw a little of people that couldn’t get a table (passerby). The tables are over the sidewalk and it is really pleasant.

A recent trip to Nerja and we ate in many great restaurants but this one was by far the best. The food was beautiful, service was exceptional and the wine went down a little too well!! If you are going to Nerja do yourself a favour and have a meal here, you won’t be disappointed. Tip…… Book at least a week in advance to get a table. It’s very busy.

This is an absolute hidden gem in Nerja! It can be hard to find a good authentic restaurant in a touristy area, but look no further and run to Meson Jose y Victoria! Lucrezia does an amazing job, and makes you feel like you are a part of her family! Hats off to her and her team! But don’t forget about the food because it is just as good as the service! The pasta della casa is incredible and should not be missed, the bruschetta is super fresh, solid patatas bravas, good shrimp pil pil, and all the desserts are homemade! Lucrezia made my trip to Nerja extra special and it would not have been the same without a visit to her restaurant! It’s was so good that I had to go twice during my short trip!

Love this place! The flaming sausage cooked in the cermaic pigs is legendary. Great service, proper Spanish atmosphere with good Tapas. The saxophone beer pump is the best I have seen. Don't forget to call into this place when you are in Nerja. There is a glass floor revealing the cellar bar but that was closed the two times we visited. Can't wait to return.

I really liked the simplicity of this place. Beer, wine, and light snacks were what everyone was getting, and that was more than enough. One round of a pint of beer and a healthy glass of red wine - with the complimentary cheese/meat and bread snacks - came to €5.80! - very good value 😊
The owner was the main selling point of this place. He worked very hard serving everyone and made sure no one went without. It was amazing to see him work the whole place by himself!
A particular highlight was when he made me a flaming chorizo sausage, which he served with a bun. This was delightful!

This place is fab . As you go in look down through the glass into his wine cellar if you are lucky the owner will take you down and show you the huge barrels that store the sweet and dry wine from malaga and let you have a sample . Order a drink and he will come out with a plate of tapas normally manchego cheese . Deff a place not to be missed
Very fun little place. Does one thing very well (which is thick chorizo-style sausages bbq/cooked in these ceramic pigs, and served in a white-bread roll). Some interesting-shapes draught beer taps and delicious, cheep bottles of red wine (would recommend the Ribera). Had the TV playing when we arrived but not too loud. Host would come around and serve the sausages for you, but do keep an eye on them and turn occasionally!
The owners here are so friendly, even encouraged us to explore the lower level with all it antique tools which are visible through the glass floor.

This is a comfortable restaurant, with no frills. The food is good and reasonably priced, they got parts of our order wrong but it was no big deal as it was late and we were a big party so grateful that they were able to accommodate. We came to this restaurant due to a review in mapping Spain , saying in their opinion it was the best pizza in Nerja , and how very wrong were they , it was most disappointing , and sadly we had walked past better pizza restaurants in the Balcón de Europe area . We also had salads which were nice ( though the goats cheese one was tasty , it didn’t mention raisins were added , which unfortunately I’m allergic to ) The service was ok , not fantastic, however they were busy . If it’s pizza you want go to somewhere with a wood fired oven , I’m sure you will find something you like on the menu , unfortunately it was a bad pick for us

Tried this place expecting bold flavors, especially with a name like Salt and Pepper — but unfortunately, the food was anything but seasoned. The chicken breast was bland and dry. The salmon? Chewy, underwhelming, and mysteriously untouched by salt, pepper, or personality. The vegetables were just thrown in the plate
Ticked all the boxes. Chosen for its aspect, looks cosier than the much larger more clinical looking Jamaica up the street. There is a nice outside space with screen displaying sport. Don't let that put you off: chosen to watch an evening match, at no point was volume oppressive- feels more like a restaurant with screens than a bar. Staff were helpful and offered us a spare table inside, even though most were reserved that evening. We chose outside terrace as screens still visible. Opposite a larger hotel so good spot to people watch. Food was surprisingly good. Kebab and chips hit the spot: arrived in a wrap with thinly sliced, well seasoned chicken. Nice balance of onion and salad. Waiters did their best not to block any views while screens displaying, and are well versed at managing when the place gets busy. Recommend
Fabulous pattie in the house burger (the other burgers on the menu don’t have house made patties). Definitely get it with cheese. Comfortable, casual restaurant, pleasant service. We were surrounded by locals, which is always a good sign. My husband had the dorada which was also very good.

I had chili con carne (very spicy, delicious) & fries, the kids had a chesse hamburger each + one serving of fries (+1 eur for for the hamburger) and two Cruz Campo 0.0. The food was great, the waiter was very helpful and quick, the vibe of the place was really funny because there was a football game on tv between Real Madrid and Barcelona and the fans on site were very loud.

Wasn't initially very impressed when I saw the menu, but the food at China House is very good in the main. I was disappointed with the lack of fish mains, but I had fried seaweed to start and prawns with black mushrooms and bamboo shoots as a main, and both were very tasty. My partner had salt and pepper ribs,which he very much enjoyed, followed by another prawn dish on a sizzling hot plate - a bit pricey and a small portion too. The chips he ordered weren't good. They tasted like frozen and oven baked and weren't very warm. The service was very good and so was the wine. There's definitely a few more things I'd like to try on the menu, although it's a shame my two favourite things, salt and pepper squid and tofu with ginger and spring onion aren't on it.
Most places in the area were already closed but fortunately we ran across them, communication was fantastic, the decoration is lovely (reminds me of one back in my country) , and of course the food was amazing, really recommend it!!
The restaurant was empty at 9pm but it was feria so wasn't concerned. Food was greasy and bland, the chicken in the curry was raw and so we couldn't eat it. We pointed this out to the waitress when she brought the bill and she did say oh sorry but no offer of reduction. Disappointing and would never return

We only got churros so can only review based on that. They were somewhat expensive. If ordering just be mindful of the size. The sauce tastes like hot chocolate the drink, not chocolate sauce. Service was not friendly, not very polite.
The hot chocolate is not entirely liquid which is great to dip in with the churros. The toast was good and the ice tea natural and refreshing. Great experience overall, except for the fact that it’s pretty hot inside. When we ordered something without specifying the size or quantity they took the most expensive option without asking us. My friend took an orange juice which in the menu costed 2.8€, with no other options of size. When we received the bill, they made her pay 3.3€ for an orange juice of a bigger size that wasn’t even on the menu! We were a group of 6 but they didn’t let us pay separately which was very inconvenient
Despite being located on a very touristy street, this bar has retained its originality. I was running late for breakfast, but the owner, with a very pleasant attitude, still served me chocolate con churros without any issue. I highly recommend it if you are in Nerja!

My family and I visited Pura Cepa Frigiliana on Easter Sunday. We arrived around 11.30am and were informed by a kind gentleman that the kitchen would open at 12, but we could enjoy drinks before then. The gentleman kept his word and even took our order a bit earlier to ensure we were served first. The wine was delightful, and I indulged in three glasses.
Excellent experience, sitting on the terrace we had beautiful Sherry from the Malaga region, all the tapas we tried were very tasty, had a cheese board and 2 dessert also top class, and a Vermouth to finish. Friendly and helpful staff. Hard to beat the view on a sunny day.

The location has a fantastic view on the mountains. There is a wonderful breeze during the warm day. We had a drink and a small bite to eat while most tourists hadn’t arrived and there’s was a peace and quiet to be enjoyed. Also very friendly staff and great wines.
Wondering where to stop during a visit to Frigiliana? Pura Cepa was exactly what we were looking for. We ordered tapas which were very good. They hit the right balance of good ingredients and flavors without being overly complex. The wine list follows the same theory, selected good options. We got great service from the staff and the view from the terrace is lovely. Everything worked to simply take some time and enjoy the moment.
This is primarily a tapas spot, so don’t expect large or elaborate meals, but what they serve is fresh and flavorful. Be sure to reserve ahead, as it’s a popular place. The music was at the perfect volume, and the view of Frigiliana is beautiful! Service was excellent, very kind and attentive staff who made the experience even better!
I was here with my girlfriend, and we had most beautiful experiece. Amazing view, great food, friendly services and very nice wine. Some of the dishes were already through but the waiter was very helpfull and served subsitutes which were amazong as well. I would recommend this to anyone - in a nutshell: best of town.
Beautiful views of the town and the food was disturbingly good. We had the cariilo de cerdo, la costilla and the tabla de jamones Iberico. For the wine people there are walls and walls of wine. I had some ice cold beers!

Bar El Ingenio is a remarkable building in Frigiliana with striking Renaissance architecture. It serves as the ancestral home of the counts and also houses a molasses factory, making it the only place in Europe still producing this product. The building dates back to the late 16th century and has been historically important to the local economy, maintaining molasses production since that time.
We loved sitting on the terrace taking in the sun and the breathtaking mountain views. I enjoyed a San Miguel and a Mahou beer and ate a pinchos morunos and a ham and tomato omelette. The service was friendly and amenities were clean.

We stopped off here while staying in frigiliana a few times. We had a quick bite to eat and a few drinks which were lovely as was the service. A lovely little place to have a rest and watch the world go by for an hour. Pizza and fries we ordered were lovely. Prices are very reasonable considering you're slap bang in central frigiliana. Will definitely return on our next visit.
Nice spot near the center of town. This place seems to cater to tourists looking for a quick bite. There's nothing special about the food, but the service is professional, and there are several comfortable tables with umbrellas outside. The prices are good for a touristy area, too. My wife said that the bathroom was "fine," high praise coming from her.

Good souvenir shop with decent prices where you can buy the local sugar cane syrup that is produced in the factory next door called: el ingenio.
The factory is open once a year for visits... if you are lucky it's well worth a visit to see the natural sugar cane extraction process (2017 opening is on April 30th)

The view here is great and the french fries was amazing, handslices and fried just before we got them felt luxurary. Could honestly be the best fries I had in a long time! The mixed sallad was kinda boring and lowered my score a bit!

Very fresh pastries and savoury options. Spent 6 euro for two espressos and two large pastries - good deal! Not much space to sit down but if you are lucky or get there early there are few stools on the corner. No toilet as far as we saw.

The chocolate cake was one of the best cakes I've had in a long time. Moist and sweet! We also had a piece of the chicken curry pie which was so nice!
The food here is so good, they have lots of different breads but they sell many more sweet things than savoury.
All we needed was a sourdough baguette for our picnic, and it was awesome. Great quality place, and very popular too, we saw lines to get in.
I love this bakery and visit often when in Nerja but was disappointed when I could not purchase one of their bags for life. The assistant said I had to spend 20 euros - ridiculous there are two of us what would I buy for that amount that would keep fresh. Surely a bag for life is free advertising if allowed to purchase for a few euros.
I love this coffee shop. Great coffee, great pastries and at amazingly low prices. Parking is at a premium but well worth it once you do park.

Vibes are fun. Why people go there. Watch out, you may wait for a bit for a seat to open.
Drinks are OK. Their Mojito Volk's was fine. Best value was the Sangria cup, which even that was ok compared to the sangria at other places.

We had are pre-wedding night party here on 08/05 with about 70 guests (can hold up to 90). Food was great, service was amazing and views were stunning. Its a really cool place, everyone loved it. Would recommend for a party.

This cozy spot may be slightly off the beaten path, but it’s well worth seeking out for its vibrant atmosphere and delectable tapas. The menu features an array of small plates inspired by both Cuban and Mediterranean cuisines, including fresh falafels, crispy calamari, flavorful moussaka, and more—all at reasonable prices.
This was the smallest place and we almost missed it.
It is tucked in the very corner of the square.
Wish we could give it ten stars.
The Julie the chef is excellent and Valeri is excellent Barman who is also responsible for the vibe.
Once you have one of their famous mojitos in hand.
Valeri needs very little encouragement to get his guitar off the wall.
You will be singing and dancing 🕺🏻 in no time at all.

Today we were craving for some delicious tapas. Fortunately we found a seat without reservation -- you should definitely make a reservation if you want to eat here! It is a very small place as is the menu, but the food is outstanding!!! With every liter of sangria or other major beverage you get a free tapas starter plate to enjoy :)

Great atmosphere, great tapas! A hidden gem in Nerja. Blink and you have walked passed it. It's quietly placed in the corner next to La Fuente. It's not very well advertised but like all the other reviews it boasts great food, hosting and atmosphere. Don't be put off with its Street food menu, Every tapas served with quality and flavour. My family (3) and I enjoyed every second, the childrens tapas was nothing I have seen before, great selection and served like an adults. We wish we discovered this restaurant earlier into our visit to Nerja.

The ice cream was really good. We had the pistachio cremino, which is always our favorite, and it tasted almost like in Italy. A must-visit when you are in Nerja. However, the atmosphere and look of the Gelateria could be improved a bit.
So good we are here twice. We very rarely eat anywhere twice. The Ferrero Rocher ice cream was great, but many others too.
The ice cream is very tasty and comes in generous portions. There’s a huge variety of flavors. I’ll definitely come back to try more!

Just have to say that Silvanos pastry is amazing. His cornish pasties are better than some in Cornwall. Sausage rolls, pies and pork pies are to die for. Please do not take my word for it and go and get your pastry fix. And not forgetting Anna at the front of house who is a delight to speak to and always smiling.
