Delicious food, coffee, and pastries. We dined at the counter, as it was first come-first serve so we could sit immediately. Our breakfast was very good and portions are plentiful. We grabbed some pastries afterwards for later in the day. The pigs in a blanket (sausage roll) are divine!

The food is filling and flavorful. Such a cozy spot. Very kid friendly. They even let us order an item from the bakery that wasn’t technically on the restaurant menu because our son really wanted the blueberry donut (which was phenomenal btw). I got hippy hash and my husband got biscuits and gravy. It was sooo good. Mouth is watering just thinking about it again. The pickled onion in the hash really balanced well and was my favorite part.

Went for brunch with a friend. He got breakfast; I got lunch. Great atmosphere evoking a Nederlandse bakerij. I was instantly drawn to the Dutch sampler. Where else can you get pea soup, croquets, krakelingen, etc? It was very good, and we enjoyed our meals. Only drawback is that we weren't checked in on after being served until just before our check came and my coffee got cold.

A must have when visiting Holland! If you make a trip to the area plan for breakfast here. They have wonderful food, awesome service and nice atmosphere. It can get busy so be patient. Be sure to get some of the classics and shared them around the table.

We always love coming to DeBoer Bakerjj in Holland — the food is always fantastic! This visit, two employees really stood out: Case and Eva. They went above and beyond to make sure customers were seated quickly, tables were cleared right away, and everyone was taken care of with a smile. Their energy and great personalities made our experience even better. It’s always nice to see staff who genuinely care about their customers and their work. Highly recommend this place!

I was on a mission to find the best hot chocolate in Holland, Michigan, and Lemonjello’s was one of the top contenders. But—I’ll be honest—I almost didn’t go. Why? The number of reviews talking about rude service and employee attitudes made me second-guess it. Who wants to be judged for just wanting something warm, cozy, and lavender-flavored? But then I found out they had lavender hot chocolate, and listen... as a certified hot chocolate connoisseur and someone whose favorite flavor on Earth is lavender, I simply had no choice. Curiosity > fear of sass. I pulled up, sat in my van, and genuinely debated just skipping it. But eventually, the craving won out, and in I went. There was only one person ahead of me in line, so I browsed the counter—strictly there for that lavender hot chocolate, mind you—and walked out with a small bakery haul. I got a cinnamon roll that I swear was life-altering. I bake my own sourdough cinnamon rolls, and I’m pretty obsessed with them—but this one? Better. I said it. I went back inside to get two more for the road. That good. As for the much-feared service? Total myth—at least in my experience. The cashier and the guy making my drink were both kind, conversational, and super helpful. We chatted about the drink, the pastries, even how their day was going. No eye rolls. No bad vibes. Just genuine, sweet humans. When I finally got my drink (napkins and a bag already thoughtfully packed for me), I went back to my van, took one sip, and immediately regretted not getting the biggest size they offer. It was floral, rich, comforting, and easily the best hot chocolate I had out of the three places I tried in town. Hands down. So if you’re on the fence about Lemonjello’s because of some sour reviews, let me be the voice that says: go anyway. Order the lavender hot chocolate. Grab the cinnamon roll. And if you’re going—text me. Bring me back a cinnamon roll. 😌

My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town for the weekend and decided to try this place out. Both of us really enjoyed our experiences the two times we came in. What genuinely makes this place 5-star worthy is the fact that there’s MULTIPLE gluten-and-dairy-free bakery items. I visit lots of coffee shops and keep seeing that there’s (typically) either a gf item, or a vegan item. Never both. The fact that Lemonjello’s had not one or two, but five different bakery items for me to choose from that were freshly made— not the pre-packaged, overpriced options you see at other places— that won me over. I understand it’s hard to accommodate my two dietary restrictions simultaneously, but Lemonjello 100% executed, and it’s something I appreciate greatly. I tried the gf/df apple almond muffin and chocolate chip cookie one time and the gf/df berry muffin the next, all of which I’d get again. My boyfriend and I also enjoyed our lattes— as baristas, we were impressed with the staff’s skilled latte art, especially considering I got mine with oat milk. The atmosphere was totally fine. I could personally just go without the music playing as it seemed a little all over the place, and the tables are fairly close together, but it’s evident they’re trying to utilize the space they have and provide as much indoor seating as possible for customers. I’m looking forward to coming back to this coffee shop as it’s very accommodating and overall very pleasant.

The staff were very kind and accommodating. Cortado served on a wooden tray with a glass of bubbly was exactly what I was looking for while exploring Holland for the day. They were even nice enough to top me off with some more bubbly when I asked. Coffee was delicious.

A very yummy vegan burrito with vegan chorizo! So pleased to have such a solid vegan option. Make sure you get your salsa Verde if you get a burrito, it's essential and it was forgotten with our burritos. Very delicious! Frappe was OK, but coffee is great!

Fireside latte! Delicious fresh espresso with think milk foam and cinnamon. Sweetened with honey. Excellent friendly service. Comfortable atmosphere.

Coffee was outstanding with robust flavor, but the muffin was a little underdone and gummy.

Downtown Holland has one of the best vibes in the Midwest, so, you would expect a great coffee shop in the mix. It turns out there are several, but Lemonjello's is my go to choice. The location is just a block off 8th and on the edge of Hope campus. Hence, there's a mix of students, professionals, and tourists, making this the best people watching location in holland. This is a place to meet old friends, or find new conversation. Coffee here is superior. I usually ask for A Shot In The Dark, and the delivery of a dark, rich, brew is consistent. It is also worth noting, the food choices thoughtfully include several vegan options.

Crane’s in the City is a nice outpost of the main Fennville restaurant. The chili still tastes the same and is of a recipe that’s sweeter and more tomato-based than most. It’s unique, and quite good. I had that along with a piece of apple crisp à la mode. The apple crisp is always excellent with the right combination of sweetness, salt, and spices. The quality of the food is great, but the price is a tad high. The service I received was prompt and thorough. Overall, this is a pleasant place for a snack or quick meal downtown.

The City Cristo (turkey, provolone, honey mustard and apple slices, grilled on apple butter bread and sprinkled with powdered sugar) was OUTSTANDING bursting with a variety of very pleasing flavors. The Reuben Panini sandwich was just OK, but I regretted ordering it after eating half of my wife's City Cristo. Crane's famous chili was very good and we really enjoyed the cherry pie. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and quickly served our meal, so they definitely earned the tip we included at checkout. The restaurant is also cozy comfortable to dine in.

Very nice staff, delicious sandwiches and goodies, and a pleasant cafe feel. Do try the apple-juice slushy (don't remember the name), as it is SO good. Further, the apple cider is fresh, pure and full-flavored, AND has no additives. That means you can take it home, and actually allow it to age and ferment and get a lot of biodiversity going on for a healthful drink. They can't, by law, recommend you do that, but I do it, knowing it produces awesome results. Other cider is loaded with antibiotics (intended to kill microbes), which makes it impossible to culture it. So, this is my new favorite source for apple cider. See the bubbles, naturally occurring from fermentation, if you leave it out for a few days. Put a hole in the lid, so alcohol won't build up, and refrigerate after desired sparkle is achieved. .................... Now I have made multiple visits with my wife. This is working for me! If you want handmade pies and other wonderful treats, come see their creations. They are on my list of pre-qualified stops, in case I need a meal or treat that looks delicious, tastes delightful and feeds my need for real-ingredients.

I swear they used to put more meat in their sandwiches… taste is delicious but it seems like this restaurant is another victim of shrinkflation… paid $12 for this Reuben (only 1/2 the sandwich is pictured). For reference, look at the Reuben picture they have displayed on their menu to see what it should have looked like. :/

More of a quick lunch or grab and go place, but they do have nice seating inside and outside. Welcoming staff and interior.

Very disappointing experience…I came here for the first time around 4 months ago and had a great experience. I came again today and ordered an HSP and was extremely disappointed. For $12 it looks like I got 2 slices of ham, 1 slice of cheese, and a dab of pesto on floppy, unappetizing bread. I cannot stress how disappointing this portion size was and am considering never coming back.

Had the split pea soup, grilled cheese sandwich, a slice of raspberry rhubarb pie, and chai tea latte. Underwhelming overall. The pie was so bad I only had a couple of bites. The grilled cheese sandwich was basic. The soup was salty, nothing special. The lunch for two was $65!

What a great, happening coffee shop! Plenty of space with places to eat out front, inside, and in the rear. The coffee is really good, and so is the service. I had a Peanut butter banana waffle and it was amazing. There is a lot in the back, but also street parking and a row of free parking in front of the Post office, which is two doors down.

Lovely cold brew coffee for me and a latte with a heart for my spouse. People were friendly and kind, space was clean and had a cool design. Loved the murals on the outside of the building!

Hipstersly and relaxing coffee & beer spot to read or meet with friends. They have a nice selection of lattes and a few beers on tap. I tried the iced cold brew and my husband enjoyed a cold Founders Mortal Bloom on tap. I like the decor and vibe of the place, lots of hanging plants and wooden tables. I would try it again!

The 205 is a fun and cute place to eat, but it is very expensive. For 2 drinks and 2 waffles it was about $35 before tip. They do not list their prices on the menu in-store, but you can see them if you order online. It is often quite busy so it's not really a calm or quiet vibe. But the space is beautiful and service is good and fast.

Wonderful little shop :-) We got there as soon as they opened and within minutes, there were a dozen people there to grab coffee. The 205 definitely seems to be local favorite! The barista’s were really cool! Very good with the people as well as their craft. I got the barista‘s choice latte and it was delicious! The price was good too, a latte and a pastry cost me what just a latte would cost at most coffee shops! Overall 10/10 experience, would definitely go back again if I’m ever in the area.

Great spot! Indoor/ outdoor. Great parking in lot, or on the street. Also, serves alcohol after 2pm, so it was a very fun start to our stroll through this fun town.

Went to the drive thru to place an order. Things went well, or so I thought, but when I was handed my iced latte it was in an unusual cup. I thanked the barista and drove off due to a car behind me. I notice my drink was hot…I have never turned around before to complained due to a mix up or not being heard. But since I had time and I wanted my usual ice coffee I just went in a circle, got behind the car that was behind me to begin with and waited. The barista open the door and I politely said I’m sorry but I ordered an ice latte. She rudely told me I did not and said she make another and slammed the drive thru window in my face as she left rolling her eyes at me. Not once was I rude or made an effort to point out she had made a mistake. So I decided to just drive off and not return if that’s the kind of service that’s acceptable to deliver to customers. I think this barista needs to rethink a career in customer service. I don’t care if you’re having a bad morning, day or night. Leave your issues at home when you go to work.

One of the best tasting coffee offerings in Holland, in very close proximity to the medical district. Simpatico roasts coffee for several shoppes on the lakeshore. They offer bagged take-home coffee in gourmet markets as well.

Amazing cozy spot (although could use a little more heat rn - and I understand it’s gonna be closer by the windows). So happy I found this place before I move to Florida. Great breakfast bars with Banana and Nut. Organic Chai & Free Shot Friday!

A nice place with friendly staff and nice baked goods and coffee. Only reason I didn’t give it 5* is because on Google it says it’s open til 6 but that is just the drive thru the lobby closes at 3:30

Great environment, the nitro cold brew was so creamy and delicious. I added the coconut flavoring which I recommend. Service was friendly and a great environment. : ) Loved all the plants.

The barista was so friendly and kind. It was a nice place to sit and chat too. The coffee wasn't great, unfortunately. The iced coffee just tasted like water and the cortado was quite bitter. The chocolate chip banana bread was so dry. I'd be willing to try something else though for the sake of the atmosphere!

Love the baked goods here! Their white chocolate raspberry scone is my all time favorite. The coffee is smooth and delicious (I’m not very picky when it comes to coffee). The staff here has always been very friendly and welcoming. I highly suggest checking them out.

Very good Brioche, great macaroons, fair trade highland espresso and when I paid I asked twice if she got everything. I love the creativity of the entire family. Check the wall art, the light fixtures, tables, and the counter/bar to get an appreciation. Nifty place, hope they can soon get a stand at the city market.

Great gluten free and vegan options. The employees are very friendly too. I love the holiday cookie decorating kits they have especially since they are offered in gluten free and/or vegan. My daughter enjoys them a lot.

We asked Saunders Family Bakery if they could make a giant cookie for our wedding instead of a cake. They made it happen and it was 4 feet of AWESOME. All of our guests loved it. We did chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and white chocolate macadamia nut. The cookie was delicious and super fun. Kris was very easy to work and delivered our cookie for us too :)

Was visiting the area and saw this place while searching online for gluten free restaurants. So glad I made it over there to try a couple things. The gluten free sticky bun and blueberry scone were to die for!! My son enjoyed the gluten free cinnamon roll. I'd be in trouble if I lived closer. Do yourself a favor and grab yourself a treat ar this bakery!

Saunders Family Bakery is fantastic. The people are pleasant and kind. They have the best gluten free goodies I've ever had, and their bread is awesome too! Not only that, which is great, but they are also very respectful of the LGBT community and remember pronouns. They even remember my name! This is a wonderful family bakery that is more what you'd expect to find in a small backwater town. I will always go here for my own wants and desires, and I will recommend it to anyone. I can't say enough good about them. Thanks for being here! 😍

Probably the best bakery in Holland. Cakabakery is good too but they’re never open and they don’t do scones and stuff. Saunders has a coffee shop feel and an interesting and delicious range of baked goods made in-house daily, including a good selection of vegan and gluten free options. It is tucked away, so I haven’t seen it before (I am here several weekends per year and always looking for good baked goods), but it’s my new favorite. They have better hours, better products, and better service than the other bakeries I’ve been to in the Holland area (and now I think I’ve been to most or all of them). They even have unsweetened oat milk!! Definitely worth a try to judge for yourself, but I will be making this my new regular spot. Highly recommend. Only sad part is that they’re inexplicably closed on Sundays, like many other businesses in town—people still want cinnamon rolls on Sunday!

The cupcakes here at the best I have had in my life so far. They have regular drip coffee & iced coffee with caramel & vanilla as flavors. The pistachio cupcake is heaven in a wrapper. The young girl on the counter this Saturday morning is a ray of sunshine. So kind & helpful. 10/10

The Pecan Pie bar is absolutely delicious. Also purchases the Chocolate Chunk cookie, Oreo macadamia nut cookie and Sticky buns. All were worth the calories and price!!

I got the almond cupcake. The frosting was very sweet but was balanced out by the chocolate cake. A cupcake for $4 is overpriced in my opinion. The service was fine, but there was no music in the store and just one worker visible there, which made it feel kind of awkward. Don’t think I will return.

While in town visiting family at Thanksgiving, we visited the Kerstmarkt at the Civic Center. It was pretty cold, and before walking up 8th Street, we wanted to warm up and grab a quick bite. That's when we stumbled on this place. It is just east of the market, so it's a prime location to pick up a breakfast pastry or drink before shopping downtown. It had just opened, so we were the only customers. The place is pristine and bright and huge with several tables on one side. My mom and I shared a pecan sticky bun thing, and it was warm and delicious. Don't be fooled by the plate in the photo - it's actually a sturdy, reusable plate made to look like a paper plate. They also provide forks and cups for water. There were so many items to choose from, I'll have to go back and try some more.

Good bakery. There are not many options for a walk-in, but imagine they could make anything with a call ahead. Girl working was very friendly.

Rose @ Cakabakery helped me with our wedding cake & cupcakes on short notice, the staff is so friendly, knowledgeable and easy to work with! The product was PERFECT and so delicious, it was a big hit with our guests! We will certainly be returning customers!

Totally blown away with the customer service from Kelsey and Cakabakery West! I placed an order for a custom cake for a family members’ engagement party, and the cake the team created was absolutely gorgeous. Not only was the presentation beautiful, the cake was moist and delicious. The cake was a huge hit — thank you Kelsey and team for making our celebration so special!

Cakabakery truly made my wedding cake dreams come true this past weekend!! My husband and I got married in Holland, MI but live on the opposite side of the state, so we didn’t get to taste test our cake before ordering it. Being gluten free I never know what to expect! The team was so kind and knew exactly how to achieve the look we were going for! The cake was adorable and SO YUMMY! they were also so accommodating to our pick up time! The best!

Absolutely amazing experience with Cakabakery! I’m not from the area, so I sent them some inspo photos for a birthday cake—and wow, they nailed it! The cake turned out exactly how I hoped. But here’s the best part: on pickup day, we got delayed enjoying all the fun at Tulip Time and missed the shop’s closing. I was so worried… but the manager went way out of her way and personally came back just to get us our cake. Talk about above and beyond! So grateful for the kindness—and the cake was as delicious as it was beautiful. Highly recommend!

We originally came across Cakabakery at a friend's wedding years ago and knew immediately that we wanted to use them for our future wedding. Cakabakery did such an amazing job on our wedding cake, we did three different flavors (chocolate, bourbon vanilla w/ salted caramel, and champagne w/ strawberry) and every flavor was to die for! We got so many compliments on our cake (how it look as a whole) and the way it tasted! We live about an hour away but will always be sure to stop by when we do visit the area!

I worked with Kelsey at Cakabakery West for a birthday cake and couldn’t recommend them more. Service from Kelsey with excellent, responsive and helpful, and the cake was beautiful and delicious (dark chocolate merlot, so good).

Cannot thank the ladies at Cakabakery enough for making my moms 70th birthday cake this past weekend! They knocked it out of the park with the vision that I had for her “shoe box” carrot cake birthday cake. It literally made my mom say “wait! Is that cake??!” Not only was it absolutely beautiful but all of our guests could not stop talking about how incredible it tasted! Thank you!!

We used Cakabakery West for our wedding desserts and everything was amazing! We ordered a small cake for cutting and then a variety of cupcakes, cookies and bars and everyone loved everything! The cake turned out exactly as we requested and tasted amazing and all of our guests raved about the other desserts as well! Communication with Kelsey was very easy via email as well. Will definitely use again for future events!

Biked to what appeared to be the superior donut shop in town, only to discover they are closed at listed business hours. Gave 2 stars because pictured donuts in theory look good. Maybe next time

Friendly. It is dark and there is an aquarium with goldfish, one is enormous. Atmosphere nothing to brag about, but hey i was there for the donuts not a date. You need to have cash as they don't take cards...but seriously, the comment about the struggle to spend $5 is true. We bought 4 huge donuts and the cost $4 and some change.

Decent "hole in the wall" donut shop. Good donuts, quick service. Only downside is its a "cash only" business. Large bonus is being open at 5:00 AM.

Best spot in Holland for a fresh local handmade donut. Also usually open late during the school year so if you're craving a sweet treat around midnight you should stop by, you might have to knock on the door since they're making everything fresh for the next day. You gotta try this place, cash only though!

My new favorite coffee shop! The staff is extremely friendly and pleasant. Coffee is SO GOOD. I highly recommend the cold brew and checking out their fun seasonal drinks.

This is easily a 5 star experience. The staff is so welcoming and warm. The food and coffee is literally better in every way than a Starbucks or bigby. Don't waste your time on the corporations in town. Go here! Also! If you are looking for local artists work, you can buy some here!

Very great guy that works here. And a fantastic looking place I might add. Got me a dark roast with cream and sugar. Gentleman even was willing to remake the coffee if it didn't taste right xD I drink my coffee however it tastes tbh I'm not picky. It's just the fact that he was willing to remake me one which I have to say is excellent customer service. This is a family owned business to which means they're very friendly. I very much enjoy coming here for my daily cup of Joe 😆

I’ve lived in Holland my whole life… how haven’t I been here before?! Joe2Go is seriously a gem! Not only are the coffee, food, and smoothie options incredible, but the staff was hospitable, warm, and welcoming!! This will be my new go-to spot 100%. Also for you dairy, gluten-free, and vegans, they have options for you - YAY

I made the mistake of thinking this was fast food. Its not. Its more like a cafe with a decent sized menu. The wait is a little longer, but I liked my food so much better. I ended up getting a sandwich and a coffee; both were very good. Wait staff was friendly. The windows for ordering and picking up were a little higher than normal, so prepare to get your car close to the building and kind of the one in front of you. Would go again for a good lunch.

My wife and I were staying at the Tulyp hotel a few blocks away and walked over to this restaurant for breakfast on a Sunday morning. They had seating outside and inside. It has a kind of farmhouse store vibe with various blueberry items on display for sale along with the tables where people are sitting. When we walked in, there was a pretty big line and I thought that was the line to request a table, but it was a line to place an order. You have to order at the counter and then find a table yourself. I was a bit concerned about this because I wondered what we would do if there was no table available since every table was currently taken. We ordered a blueberry donut latte, a blueberry mimosa, Hash and Quiche and they handed us a number to place on our table. We were able to find a table right away and they brought our Latte and Mimosa to the table quickly, both of them were really good. The food was brought out about 10 minutes later. One other thing I found strange was you have to take your plates, glasses, cups and silverware to bins in the back when you are leaving your table and this along with the ordering process made it feel like a fast food restaurant and it’s really not fast food. With that said, I’d still come back here again because everything we had was really good but I wish they would make it more like a regular restaurant.

A nice bakery right in downtown. They have an awesome selection of bakery items. We had lunch there and found the lines to be long. It seems to me that it is also quite expensive ($17 for a grilled chicken club) They were also incredibly busy inside. It was difficult to find a table, and it was really loud. I had a salad and we also shared the above mention grilled chicken sandwich. The food was really good, but as I said previously, it was quite pricey.

The fiesta power bowl was good and filling. There’s a lot of light in here, so that is really nice. You order as soon as you go in, and the menu is on screens above the register. Lots of handheld foods and pastries of sorts. It seemed nice to meet up with people here and have a space to sit, especially around dinner time.

Came in for lunch. Had a chicken sandwich and tomato soup, which were both delicious. Chicken breast , although juicy and meaty, was on the smaller side, especially for $18. Soup was perfect. Picked up a couple of donuts on our way out, and those were amazing. Dining area was cozy, but many dirty tables.

A solid 4 stars. The order-at-the-counter cafe had the potential to be more, but the entrees fell a little short of their potential. The BBQ sandwich had very little coleslaw and was a wee bit salty and the power bowl was very heavy on squash, with about four cups, while light on other ingredients, as you can see from the photos. A little tweaking and attention could easily make these entrees better. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 stars

Bowermans is a cute shop with lots to look/purchase, friendly employees, and outstanding food. The best meal we had during our stay in Holland. Would def come here again.

Stumbled into Bowerman’s during our day trip to Holland for a cup of coffee and a treat. It was quite busy so the line was a bit messy and confusing, especially since their menu is hard to look at. We got some coffee and donuts and enjoyed both. Would definitely be back, next time for a sit down brunch to give us more of a relaxed experience.

They did an amazing job on our wedding cake. We loved the cake tasting and everything tasted so beautiful. They did a great job delivering and the presentation looks great.

I ordered 4 dozen decorated sugar cookies for my mother-in-law's retirement party. She is a teacher, so I sent a photo with ideas and they did an awesome job on the designs! Absolutely perfect and tasty too. We put them in clear bags for people to take and they were gone quickly. I also purchased a turtle cupcake and it was delicious. I highly recommend this bakery!

The cake was done exactly as I asked and I am completely satisfied once again. Haven't had a chance to eat it yet, it is for my grand daughter's Open House tomorrow. I'm sure it will be delicious as the other one was. Katy and her crew are amazing!

I had them make my wedding cake for my wedding on 8/2/2025. I was thrilled when I went to this bakery because the owner was super nice and helpful especially after our other baker had fell through. To say I am disappointed in the service is an understatement. They told me to hold onto the flowers and the topper because they would put them on when they delivered the cake. They delivered the cake to the wrong area of the reception and they left without putting the flowers or topper on. This caused immense panic and we had to do it all ourselves on my wedding day. They did not even call me to ask where they were. The flowers were clearly labeled in the table.

Have ordered several cakes and dozens of cupcakes and cake pops. Always a hit and always delicious! They even made our wedding sweets

How is this place not known all over? Even the locals barely know about this bakery! I finished a stressful week at work and wanted to reward myself with a sweet treat or donut. As it was towards the end of the day, many shops were about to close and I didn't want a crusty old donut. I was searching through Google and saw that Colin's had great reviews and it closed at 6:30. The bakery is hidden away in what appears to be a bit of an industrial location. It shares space with a small car lot and if it didn't have a sign, you would not know it's there. Upon entry, it smelled amazing. It's small, and there are many units with goodies in them. It's self-serve, they have clean serving trays and clean tongs. You take one of each and place your selection on the tray and then take it up to the counter. They box it up and you pay. Then on your way. During the time I was there, there was a steady stream of people going in and out. The owner (?) came out from behind, greeted me, and told me the young man up front could answer any questions I had. It looks like it's either family run because of the homey feel. I had a full large box that I took home and it was very very reasonably priced. The full box was less than 20 dollars. If I were to buy 2-3 of the items I had in that box by my place, easily at least $10 just for 2-3 items. What I also loved about this place is that it had more than donuts and conchas (Mexican sweet bread). Though they have different names for the pastries, they essentially had European style pastries as well as others that I'm not familiar with. Definitely coming back for my sweet fixes.

First time going to this bakery, phenomenal! Bought a tres leches cake for my wife’s birthday today and it was so good! Definitely going back again. Friendly staff and environment.

I look forward to my chocolate tres leches cake from here every year for Mother’s Day and/or my birthday. Chocolate cake is my favorite! It’s decorated beautifully and so good! The staff responds quickly with questions and will make you whatever you want. The goodies in the bakery are also a hit. My son loves going with his dad to pick up my cakes! ;) I highly recommend this place. Great service and fresh beautifully decorated cakes every time!

Contacted this place to have a cheesecake made for my girlfriend’s birthday. I’m gonna be honest they did not seem very fast responsive at first but they asked my everything I wanted and how I wanted it. I was blown away with how they made it exactly as I wanted and it was very good! Will definitely purchase here again! Thank you!

By far one of the best bakeries that Holland has to offer. Service was amazing, i was waiting outside in my wheelchair because my wife was inside. I was just enjoying the mural on the was and a employee just came out to make sure I was okay.

Everything is delicious! I ordered a chocolate cheesecake for my son's birthday last year and it was amazing. My friend ordered flan for her birthday and it was amazing. I just ordered a carrot cake for my husband's birthday and guess what? AMAZING. Seriously, they do a fantastic job.

My family loves the fresh mexican pan de dulce, pastries of all kinds and the cakes are moist and delicious. We love to get the bolillos at the start of every week so that we can make sandwiches. Friendly staff too! It’s tucked away inside a parking lot so it’s easy to miss.

Had been following Bliss Gluten-Free Bakery and Café on facebook for a while, and finally made the trek to Holland Mi to try it. Bliss is an amazing gluten free bakery with a wonderfully overwhelming number of options. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and even provided little samples so we could taste test. The problem was —after tasting, I wanted everything! Bliss has an option to order online and have items shipped. Thisnis great, but I definitely need to make another trip back when I can leisurely sip a coffee and enjoy some goodies in the cute cafe. not have to hop back on the road. I literally wanted “one of each”, but settled on the very-necessary real-sugar cinnamon roll, a salted chocolate tart, a beautiful raspberry white chocolate scone, a blueberry donut, and a bacon cheddar scone. All the items I got were “real sugar” and were beyond delicious in taste, and amazing texture for gluten free baked goods.

In many ways, this was the highlight of our trip to Holland. My wife was giddy at the opportunity to select anything she wanted from the menu without concern for gluten exposure or cross contamination. And what a menu! The food was exceptional (we ordered several items), and the coffee beverages were among the best we had all weekend. On top of all that, the service was fast and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will gladly come again next time we get the chance!

WOW. Guys, you need to go here. The cinnamon rolls blew me away. And on a whim I got the cinnamon raisin loaf to take home — it was like a cinnamon roll in a loaf pan and I’m so excited I can freeze it and have a slice whenever — it was a splurge but sooo worth the price, better than any cinnamon bread I’ve ever had — gluten or gluten free! Coffee was awesome too. So sad we live 400 miles away haha so if you live close, take advantage (and I will gladly have it shipped to me :)

What a great little bakery I'm so glad I found Bliss The gluten-free pretzel was out of this world. The apple muffin maybe it was an apple cinnamon muffin I devoured the texture was perfection.. and the lady working behind the counter was such a delight and so helpful to the best of her ability. As she was not one of the bakers but answered all my questions about allergens and things included in each item so well.

This is a large airy café, with a calming atmosphere and really nice decor. Ideal for a mixed group where someone needs gluten free. Perfect for a ladies lunch or coffee and sumptuous cake! I went for take out but will be back to chill there for a while. I took home the lemon and lavender pound Cafe, it was delicious and no-one even knew it was gluten free. The seeded loaf was also very good, excellent toasted. Parking is around the back of the store, which you can access by going down 4th Street and turning left. Overall, don't be put off by gluten free if you don't need gluten free, it is well worth trying for everyone looking for fresh and clean eating baked goods.

Bliss Gluten Free Bakery & Café truly lives up to its name with an amazing selection of gluten free desserts, breads, breakfast options, coffee, and teas. I tried the hot apple cider, which was delicious and reminded me of Starbucks’ Caramel Apple Spice. The cinnamon roll was perfectly sweet and soft, and the staff were kind and welcoming. The cozy café also features a cute gift wall with books, jewelry, mugs, and a great selection of breads to take home.

Finally got around to visiting. Been meaning to since they opened originally in Hamilton years ago. Gluten free cinnamon roll was nice craving to fill after smelling then at the fair! Lots of variety. Next time I'll try the savory styles like a bagel or something since they smelled delicious. Hope they will do gluten free version of a classic apple pie or pumpkin pie. I was rushing so not sure, but I would love a flakey cream cheese Danish! I think also have a kids cookie choice, like a large flat cookie with mini M&M's, wrapped with a tiny bow. Totally would love that. I will be back soon!

The Muskegon and Grand Haven locations have lack of communication, poor costumer service and staff that aren’t knowledgeable of their job. I went in 3 days prior to order a 8in round bday cake. I got different feedback from each staff member. They can’t keep staff, and I was informed they need a 4 day notice to process my order 😂. I will NEVER return or refer anyone to Rykes. I went to Costco and the customer service from Leigha, Erica, and Alyssa was great. I ordered a 10inch white round cake with vanilla cheesecake mousse filling. They don’t need a 4 day notice. Rykes stated they couldn’t process my order with a 3 day notice for a 8in round cake. Lol 😂 I ended up with a 10in with less of a notice and it was way cheaper. Rykes doesn’t have a policy stating it must be a 4 day notice and the staff was rude. Definitely lost my customer service!!!! I was informed the owner doesn’t talk to the customers and he only sees his staff once a month. Still waiting on Shirley to return my call.

I’ve always had good service and food at Ryke’s. The baked goods have always been delicious, and although I’ve always gotten the dessert items it’s been great quality and prices each visit. It’s a great addition to the Holland bakery scene.

I stopped into Ryke's in Holland for lunch and had a wonderful experience. I ordered a delicious sandwich, and the service was outstanding. The two gentlemen working at the deli were incredibly kind, polite, and accommodating. They took great care of me and made me feel truly welcomed. Their positive attitudes and warm friendliness really brightened my day. Great job to both of you—you’re fantastic employees! Thank you!

Prices are great and their desserts are greater. Stopped here a couple times while on vacation and everything was amazing. Definitely would recommend. Your sweet tooth won't be disappointed. They have donuts, muffins, cheesecake, cupcakes, connolis, cookies and more.

Had a horrible experience with Ryke's Bakery in Holland. I had ordered a Orange Creamsicle Cake and 12 cupcakes for my daughter's College Graduation. We are not from the area but read the reviews and it sounded like a reputable establishment. I was wrong! I placed my order a week and a half prior to the Graduation at which point I paid in full. When me and my husband went to pick up the cake and cupcakes I was told the cake and cupcakes didn't arrive at the Holland store and they were trying to see if they could find where it was sent or even if it was made. They said they could get 6 cupcakes for me but that was the only solution they provided and 6 cupcakes wasn't going to feed 20+ people. They could give me a full refund, which they didn't even do right...they shorted me 2.37 which isn't much but it just added insult to injury. I left there with no cake, no cupcakes and was very upset. I was left scrabbling to find a cake! I ended up going to Sam's Club and they were very helpful! The cake was beautiful and ready when they said it would be.

Staff and owner are phenomenal! Great menu, great prices! We were able to get our food in a timely manner even though it got busy during lunch! The food was great! Would recommend, will be coming back when we vacation here again!

I have not even picked up the cake and I already know that they lost my business due to poor customer service. If I hadn't already paid for the cake, I would be canceling. No changes requested to the 7" round -just wanted to add a name to the cardboard (honestly, they should probably ask that when you are ordering a birthday cake? My bad, I forgot too). Regardless, I have my fingers crossed that the cake itself turns out 🤞 The other cake reviews have me quite worried.

Excellent little place to have a cup of tea and relax. Be sure to have some macarons, they are delicious and they have a tremendous selection.

Although “macaron” is in the name (and they looked incredibly tempting), I didn’t try any on this visit. The vibrant, bright colors gave me pause since I tend to avoid artificial dyes, and when I asked, the staff wasn’t certain if synthetic dyes were used. That said, the display was stunning, and they offer a wide variety of flavors—including seasonal and holiday collections. If it turns out they use plant-based or natural colorants, I’d love to return and try a few! This time, I opted for a handcrafted French soda with their house-made blackberry syrup—and wow. Not only was the presentation lovely, but the flavor was so fresh and balanced. Knowing the syrup was made from scratch gave it that extra artisanal touch. At $5.50, it felt totally fair for the quality and care that went into it. While waiting, I took in the space: clean, softly lit, and cozy with an inviting feel. It’s the kind of place you want to sit and stay awhile. Had I ordered more than just a drink, I definitely would’ve settled in to enjoy the vibe. I’m not local to the area, but this place made such a great impression that I’ll absolutely go out of my way to visit again if I’m ever nearby. That soda even inspired me to try making my own syrup at home—so I’d say it left its mark! Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys thoughtfully made treats in a beautiful, welcoming space.

What a surprisingly neat place. We were just looking for coffee but this shop caught our eye because of its over-the-top decor. Turned out the coffee (latte and americano) were surprisingly good, and the macarons — which I don’t normally care for — were incredible. The service was great and we ended up sitting a while just to soak up the atmosphere. Really enjoyed it all the way around.

This place was all around great. The shop is clean and beautifully decorated. The woman we spoke to was very nice and helpful. The macarons I got were super delicious, and every flavor was spot on! I loved the texture, and there was a perfect amount of filling. I will definitely be back here.

My orders are always prepared with careful attention. The shop is just beautiful and the girls who serve behind the cafe counter are very kind. It is always a pleasant place to visit. My daughter and I love to stop in to the pretty pink store for a tasty macaron! The macarons also make a lovely gift idea!

Everything about Le Bon, from their products, team, atmosphere, everything, has been top notch for years! I’ve been a customer since day 1 and highly recommend everyone give them a try! Some of my favorite macarons are their rose raspberry, lemon, and salted caramel flavors!

This is an outstanding breakfast destination. You may experience a wait but well worth it. This is a must stop. We drive from Grand Rapids just to eat here.

Oh my goodness!!! I am in heaven!!! ✨✨✨ You know a place is good when it’s a Tuesday, at 1030a, and the place is packed. Nolani, our server; gave excellent advice and we were thrilled with our meals! All food is prepared in house, is fresh and preservative free! I had a couquette, the almond danish, a cafe ole coffee, and the Dutch Dip. The Couquette was delicious, the almond danish is better than my favorite O Almond danish, the coffee was perfect and the Dutch Dip was scrumptious! Highly recommend and will definitely be back again!!! AND—our sweet lab, Bodhi, sat outside with us.

Busy place but worth it!

Purchased a milk only to take a sip and find out it was 2 months expired. I went up to exchange it only to find out that all of the similar milks were 2 months expired. I informed the worker and asked to exchange it for a soda since those milks were all expired, and I asked to pay the difference between the 2 drinks. So the soda being $2.50 and the Milk about $1.50, I expected to pay .99. But instead they charged me the full amount for the soda, to which at that point I just paid because it wasn't worth arguing and I'm not that type of person. But as my family and I sat to eat, they proceeded to sell at least 3 of those milks to children...even though I had JUST told them that they all were expired, and it was the same woman that I had talked to as well. No one went to clean them out of the fridge...they just proceeded to sell them as they were wanted. I understand if it was a couple days or even a week expired, but 2 months?? Then to not clean them out or at least remedy a situation? But then to continue to sell expired product? These things dont normally bother me but the lack of care within a food industry is concerning be cause what else is expired or being neglected then?

This has been one of my favorite places since I was a kid. Love the bagels and cream cheese. The breakfast sandwiches are just ok. They store is clean and comfortable and the restrooms are kept up well.

Fast and convenient location with quick, sharp customer service. I can't forget to mention it's right across the street from a great coffee shop...

Well I’ve never had a problem with Big Apple before and today my order was messed up and had to pay for another bagel which wasn’t an issue I wasn’t upset I didn’t think I was rude in asking if She only charged me for one I get we wear masks and it’s hard to hear but this is my problem I know they have to see the bagel as they put cream cheese on it this was beyond burnt sad because I drive 23 minutes to get there I don’t mind waiting either but this today was unacceptable when we I know they are busy but giving someone a burnt bagel is just sad but I’ll continue to go but only to the south Washington one! Today they get one star when most times it’s a five 😔 I did try to eat it but nope to much for my taste buds

Waited in line for 15 minutes on Sunday morning to find out the have no muffins. All advertising for muffins still in place, but none in stock. The employee working the register isn’t sure if they are getting them back or not. A sign on the door would have saved me and others time and frustration.

Great tasting donuts and very large as well. Highly recommended over other donut shops in the area. One item of note is that they are still making most of the donuts when doors open so if you need a large quantity I would recommend waiting for a little while before stopping. The selection and quantities will be greater.

Picked up an online order for 19 sandwiches plus bagels and Bits. I called after I placed the order because of the size. KC was great on the phone and at pickup. Casey was super helpful and quick at getting my order. I'll definitely be back.

Bring the actual tim hortons back

10 o’clock in the morning and only one person behind the counter, she was good but I had to wait . A sandwich and a coffee for $10??? Too much. I can get the same sandwich with hashbrowns and coffee for $7.50 at quality/Tim Hortons. Coffee is barely warm. Where is the trash? Nowhere near where I’m mixing my own coffee in a Generic paper cup. Just a a barely average establishment. Overpriced and very average. Looks like I got a dribble cup too ! I guess it’s not meant to be my place.

Their French Toast bagel is the best bagel I have had in my life!!! Their bagels are not tough and dry, they are soft on the inside. Super variety and great atmosphere with a fireplace and cozy chairs as well as standard booths. Friendly efficient service too.

I came here to buy a dozen bagels for my coworkers before work in the morning. They have many options for bagels & cream cheese. I was in and out very quickly with everything I needed. They tasted great and everyone enjoyed them.

I understand that the store is short staffed. They do the best they can with what they have. I went in today at 9am and they were out of almost every popular flavored bagel. I asked the clerk, a young girl, if they will be baking any more bagels today and she said no. To be out of bagels by 9am and unwilling to make anymore is troublesome for a business to thrive. Again, they are short staffed so it’s understandable

Big apple bagels is my favorite but this location specifically has the best customer service. I believe this location closed for a but due to staff but when i came in a gentleman w the best customer service took my order. He sounded so excited and while i waited other customers came in and this gentleman knew who they were and what they usually order. Cant find people like that anymore great food freat service!

Bagels are local and the dairy products are as well. It's pricey but it's worth it. A very good atmosphere and a good place to enjoy some coffee and study. They do play music over the radio it's mild rock and other great songs with good vibes. Also they have clean bathrooms. Actually everything there is pretty clean! I go here probably 3 times week. They have fountain machine (coke products) the also have juice and local milks from the farms here in Michigan. You have options here.

Came back to the Spoon on Sunday with some friends - we all enjoyed our delicious breakfasts, and the service - this is a terrific gem for Holland!! Nice layout at the Spoon, excellent service, nice soft background music, comfortable seating, tables are nice and stable, nice decor and colors inside too! Went for breakfast on Friday - good coffee and had the Waffle with fruit and with sausages - very good! Other half had the Cuban Bowl - liked it alot too! We'll definitely return and try lunch too!

We really love this new restaurant on the south side of Holland, corner of 24th Street and U.S. 31. The food is AMAZING and the staff is helpful and really nice. Eating there is a fabulous experience. I hope to try everything on the menu over time. So far I have had the Beef Biscuit Brisket, The Mexican Street Corn Bowl, and The Spoon Burger. My husband had The Cuban Breakfast Bowl. All were fantastic.

The atmosphere here is lovely. Pretty decor, soft music and pleasant, wonderful staff. But the breakfast...not so. Sadly, it wasn't good. The waffle was tough to the point it could not be cut with a fork. The bacon was limp and soft. The pancakes were rubbery. The waitress graciously took 4$ off our &40 bill. Will not eat here again...

This place was great! 5 of us went, 3 adults and two kids and we all enjoyed our meals. I had the biscuits and gravy which were incredible!! My mom has gluten and dairy allergies and they accommodated her. Niece and nephew loved their food. Coffee was good. The restaurant was nice and spacious and music was nice as well. We have a new favorite breakfast spot! We will be back

Very much enjoyed our first visit. The staff was wonderful, the food came out fast and was delicious. I had the savory biscuits and gravy. Their gravy is a unique take on the traditional version and it was very flavorful and tasty on their yummy biscuits. My son tried the pancakes and they were super big and fluffy. On our way out we grabbed some of the petit fours in the cafe to-go and they also tasted great. A++ experience. Will definitely be back soon.

Such a cool atmosphere and great food! I love that breakfast is served all day long and that there are many healthy options available. I will be returning because there are so many more dishes I want to try. I highly recommend for any foodie looking for a new go-to spot :)
