Food is delicious but not cheap, understand they have to charge at the price for the facilities. The terrible experience is at the entrance the staff show black face staring at you without telling you should not go in without shoe, not even tell me have to keep the shoe in shoe locket. Wanted to request for a later slot but was informed that the latest timing for omakase was 7pm as the meal will last about 1.5 hours (so timing wise was slightly tight for those who rush down from work/office). The omakase consists of 7 courses and I like the fact that they took your meal restrictions seriously i.e. we requested for no beef for 2 pax and no raw item for 1 pax and they customized the menu for us. Food was pretty decent and my favourite course got to be the beef. For the spa pass, you are entitled to the onsen, infrared sauna and the steam bath. We didn’t get to try the facilities as we spent more time taking photos in the kimonos. We were told that the maximum number of users at any point is 6 pax however we felt that the onsen pool may be a tad too small ,even for 3 pax. The spa pass + omakase package costs $158 per pax. Receptionist was friendly and helpful, food was decent and impressed us more than the onsen. Overall ok for a fun experience with your girlfriends.

You can get better food at harbourfront centre, I do not recommend the sushi bento. Small portion and mediocre taste, though I like the presentation. Overall, I had the luxury of being alone for 2 hours during a peak period, yet I was not impressed. I appreciate the friendly service and steam room, tho that’s about it. One thing to note, I only knew about the whole kimono dress up activity AFTER my visit when I read the Girls Style article, aka the staff do not bother introducing it to you (but I suppose they have no incentive to do so). The food taste surprisingly good. You can tell that they really used fresh ingredients while preparing the bento. The spa facilities is so neat and tidy. I love the smell of the provided liquid soap. The steam bath is nice looking and the onsen bath is so rejuvenating. But my personal favourite is the Full Spectrum Infra Sauna which is so high tech and a must try if you're a fan of steam baths. Overall, me and my girlfriend are satisfied with the experience and will sure come by again in the future. If you're looking for a place where you can experience Japanese spa here in Singapore without breaking the bank, I would highly recommend this place.

But to each of its own, to some people it maybe therapeutic to be touched/ oil rubbed all over them without any pressure , not for us. To my partner his experience felt like the therapist didn’t take the massage seriously as no points were pressed / the therapist don’t know what they are doing. Sigh..

The centre actually has more of those body healing type of services. Not exactly what I was looking for in a spa type. The good thing probably is they aren't pushing for any packages. However, I selected 60 mins (at $50) but nearing the ending time, my legs are still not done and the massage lady then asked if I wanted to add on time. I was definitely expecting massage on my WHOLE body when I chose Body massage. Through the whole session, I have to tell her to go easy a few times as it hurt. My arm joint was a little sprained after the session and next day my whole neck and back sore badly. My worst experience in any spa by far.

Not only the masseur, Lin Lin, laughed at me when i said it's painful and request to press softer, she even asked "is there any place you dont feel pain?", and proceeded to press hard and ignore twice when i repeatedly said it is painful and request to press softer. As a result, i just found out that i have a huge line of bruise on my back despite the many times i had requested to press softer. In the middle of the session, she had the audacity to tell me that i looked v bloated (fat) when she massaged my arms. I can't explained how humiliated i am when i heard that. And even if i am fat, i do not need someone else to point that out to me as i myself will be the first to notice it. It is utterly disrespectful and a f-up thing to say that to a stranger and a paying customer. If possible i would rate this experience negative star. For those who would like to give a try, look for anyone else and not for Lin Lin and i pray that you will get a good masseur. I will never step into this store ever again.
