Quality of the steak is well worth the price paid. Taste to your preference with just salt and pepper. The complements are nothing to shout about. The service was exceptional for a bistro, the attentiveness and friendliness of the waiting staff surpasses what you’d generally expect. There's a sign at entrance to wait to be seated. We saw that and stood there for awhile. There wasn't a queue but there also wasn't a staff in sight at all so I asked my partner to take a seat while I walked indoors to get assistance. A third staff later walked in and I asked for assistance. She rudely told me there's a sign asking me to wait. Service is prompt and friendly enough. Most of their seating is outdoors though, if you want to take in the vibe in Clarke Quay then it's great, but it may be quite warm. Made a call for appointment and it is fast and fuss-free & soon we are on our way to have a great dinner after C-19 restrictions are lifted in Singapore here.. Once we are there our table has been reserved and ready but they are accommodating enough for us to switch to another table as it is right next to a large fan blower and my wife didn't like it. Made our choices of food and it is delivered to our table rather fast. These are what we ordered: - . Chicken Parmigana . Chicken Satay . Seared Salmon . Spicy Seafood . Teriyaki Squid . Kid's Bolognase meal set Let's start with the good. The chicken satay, seared salmon and spicy seafood all tasted great! The chicken satay meat is tender and juicy, the seared salmon had a great seared skin to it and the spicy seafood sauce tasted exactly like the gravy of chili crab! Our son loves the bolognase spaghetti set as well. The teriyaki squid tasted great too but maybe not so much for those whom may not like almost raw squid meat. My main negative feedback on this place is the chicken parmigana. The menu states it is breaded chicken and I envisioned like Swenson's breaded chicken similar kind of food and thus had high expectations. However when it arrived it looks bland, hardly any crispy breaded look and worse is the meat which it tasted like from refrigerated kind of meat. To be fair as long as my family enjoys their meal, I am fine with any food as I am not that picky in general. It is when i asked my wife to try the chicken then she states the obvious to me and I realised she is right. The next negative feedback is the staff reaction when informing them of the chicken parmigana. Don't get me wrong: the staff overall are fantastic and accommodating to our requests and attending services generally. It is when after the meal and asking for check, do I feedback to them on the food that I sees that the reaction to the dish is somewhat nonchalant and seemed like they have heard it from guests numerous times before. The lady whom took my feedback look indifferent and simply acknowledges my feedback and says will inform the chef. When the staff asked how the food was, I answered honestly, the food was not amazing at all. Right from the start, we noticed ants on our table. We asked to change tables, but unfortunately, the second table also had ants. This really affected our impression of the restaurant’s cleanliness. The food itself was disappointing. While it looked decent, the taste did not match the presentation. The cauliflower we ordered was far too soft almost like baby food and had an odd taste.
