Went to play this course with friends on a golf trip. We were notified it was cart path only a couple of days before. I have no problem with cart path only however leaving 9 minute tee times during this time is unacceptable. We were backed up 3 carts to a hole for the majority of the time. The Marshal came by stating they would try and speed things up but this is how it always is, and nothing changed. If they knew it was always this backed up they should have the foresight to space out the tee times. The second time we saw a Marshal he was very rude and couldn't care less about our complaints. Keeping 9 minute tee times when its clearly backed up for a premium course is downright greedy. The course layout was okay, but nothing special to warrant the steep price. Would not recommend this course to anyone unless you want to play a 6 hour round of golf where you sit and wait on every hole.

We played both the Talon and Raptor courses at Greyhawk. The Talon course was fantastic great layout, well-maintained, and we finished our round in about 3½ hours, which made for an excellent experience. Unfortunately, the Raptor course was the complete opposite.There was no management presence on the course, and despite multiple slow groups ahead, nothing was done to keep play moving. For a course charging around $300 per round, this is absolutely unacceptable. I have called an asked to talk to him no less than 6-7 times in the last week and he is never available. He tells one of his minions in the pro shop to tell me he is going to call me back and never does. This golf course is straight up committing fraud. DO NOT support this place.

Our trip was abruptly halted when we showed up for our tee times only to find out that the course we were booked for was closed. The pro shop told us they had emailed us a few hours earlier, but we never received anything. No phone call or anything for a course that is by no means cheap, and comes with strong reviews. Now I understand inclement weather happens, but when your traveling across the country for a months in advance pre planned golf trip, money spent on transportation to and from the course, which could have been saved with a simple phone call, would’ve been nice. First off, the course conditions were far from acceptable. The greens were bumpy and poorly maintained, making putting a frustrating challenge. The sprinklers were turned on at 9 as we were trying to drive, creating a delay. Then at hole 10, as we were on the tee box , the sprinklers were turned on again. The club provided water and facilities on both 9’s with more cold water that was much appreciated. We saw the beverage cart 3 times during the round which is a good frequency. When I teed off it was 106 degrees and when I putted out on 18 it was 110. I say that as it must be very hard to keep a golf course playable at those temps. The course in total was in good just not great condition. Tee boxes on all the par 3’s were chewed up and some of the fairways were rough here and there. One surprising thing at the Phoenician was how many carries over/around water you have to greens at a desert golf course. There were at least 6 such holes. First, the online booking system kept failing. Everything is in phenomenal condition. Tee boxes, fairways, rough, around the greens, traps, and the greens themselves. We played on a Saturday and were anticipating a slow round, however, that was not the case at all. In fact, I don’t think we ran into anyone the entire day and we were playing fairly quickly. The price point seemed fair for everything that came with it. Overall, this is a must play. I plan on coming back again and playing the Palmer course. Side note, on one hole we saw something pretty amazing. An errant tee shot somehow logged itself on top of a cactus. I added a picture of it.

We went there on 3/28/24. The views and the pace of play were really awesome and the overall atmosphere was great. There was a little tee time mishap, but TN took care of us and even allowed us to re book earlier which would have been more expensive, but they honored the price anyways. The greens weren’t in the best shape but overall still good. The putting green was sanded pretty good, and multiple greens had lots of old ball marks that never looked like they healed properly. The tees were mowed kinda funky and none of the grass seemed mowed evenly. Those were the only 2 small complaints. Would definitely return and thought the back 9 was some of the best holes I have ever played. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Glad I got to experience The Monument course!

We were paired up with another twosome and they were fun and kept the experience very chill. The views were spectacular especially at sunset. The bev cart girl was very kind to my fiancé and I and even celebrated our recent engagement with us! We would love to come back and play the Monument course some day.
