Ben and Dan introduced themselves while we were looking at the menu and never pressured us into ordering right away. We decided on getting The Mean Sandwich ($19) which comes with crispy potato skins on the side.The pickled red cabbage and mint made the sandwich taste phenomenal, we wanted more mint if anything. After each bite, the mustard flavour comes in at the end and the corned beef meat was pretty tender. The only downside was that our buns got quite soggy. They were thin so it didn't hold up to the sandwich fillings as I would have liked. It's a matter of personal preference on what kind of bread you like for your sandwiches though. I am saddened since I don't live in Seattle because I want to revisit this restaurant again to try their other sandwiches. Ben and Dan are super hospitable and pleasant to chat with. I stumbled upon this place and man oh man, this place is a cheese lovers dream come true. The variety cheeses they have is appalling. I got the mariachi Mac and cheese and loved it. Walking in it was a small quaint cafe with only a few tables, which was fine. We were intending to leave with our product anyway! Large selection of Macarons, danishes, croissants, cookies, and more. I will say it felt a little rushed getting through the line, but it was 9am and they were busy. We've been to Un Bien and Paseo's roast pork is much better. Un Bien has friendlier staff and a much bigger menu. They also have a beef sandwich that knocks your socks off. We are really glad to have tried Paseo and get to compare the two.

The menu is simple but broad selection of seafood and even a smash burger on there, that is highly recommended. Ordered the blacked cod, the salt/pepper fries, salmon sandwich and clam chowder. The blackened cod was one of the best pieces of fish I’ve ever had. The soup was a PNW version of clam chowder, not as thick or heavy as you would expect which was a pleasant change. The line out the door was qn indicator it was going to be good. I ordered the weekend crab roll and their clam chowder, and both were excellent.
