Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Space Needle, a 605-ft-tall spire located at the Seattle Center, offers an observation deck and a rotating restaurant. It was built for the 1962 Worlds Fair and has since become an iconic symbol of the city. The tower's design combines elements of a giant balloon and a flying saucer, giving it a modern and futuristic look. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the city, Puget Sound, and distant mountains from its observation deck.
A trip to the top of the Space Needle is, of course, a must if you are visiting Seattle. To make our visit smooth, we bought tickets online and reserved a time slot ahead of time. This was a great decision—when we got there during opening hour, the process was pretty easy. There was already a long line, but it moves fairly quickly. The elevator ride up the tower was quick and an interesting experience in itself (you'll know what I mean when you are there!). Once you reach the top, the view is simply amazing. There are several designated selfie spots around the observation deck, which are great for capturing the perfect shot. A key tip: do factor in the weather condition, as you can, of course, only see far into the distance if the weather is nice and clear. My favorite part was going down a floor to experience the revolving glass floor. You can get a feel of it by taking pictures lying or sitting down on the glass if you aren't afraid of heights. It was a thrilling and unique experience that made the visit even more memorable. It was great! Highly recommend planning ahead and enjoying this iconic Seattle landmark.

Very cool attraction and the staff moves people on and off the elevators very efficiently. We happen to go on a beautiful afternoon at 5:30pm and saw a gorgeous sunset. It you have a fear of heights, this may not be for you. The elevator and floors at the top are glass! The view of Mt. Rainier was spectacular.

I recently visited the Space Needle in Seattle and had a really memorable experience. As someone who used the military discount, my ticket was $44, which made the admission a little more manageable compared to the standard price. Once you get to the top, the views are absolutely incredible—you can see the whole city, Mt. Rainier, and Puget Sound on a clear day. That said, it can get pretty crowded at the observation deck, so be prepared for some waiting and limited space during busy times. One important thing to know is that there’s no dedicated on-site parking for the Space Needle. The official website offers valet parking for $25, which is convenient but can be costly, especially if you’re already spending a lot on tickets. Otherwise, street parking in the area can be pricey and tough to find. I’d highly recommend using meter parking if you spot an open space—meters are actually free on Sundays, so that’s a good tip if you’re visiting at the end of the week! Alternatively, using apps like Way.com makes it easy to find and book nearby covered garage spots for as low as $10-$15, which is much cheaper than valet. Despite the costs and the crowd, the Space Needle is still a must-do for visitors to Seattle. The experience itself is world class and the memories are worth the planning. Just be sure to sort out parking in advance for less hassle and take advantage of discount rates whenever you can!

Visiting the Space Needle in Seattle was an incredible experience and honestly one of the highlights of our trip. We came on a foggy day, but the views were still amazing the skyline, the water, and all the buildings looked unreal from the top. The rotating glass floor is something you have to try. Standing on it and looking straight down is a feeling you can’t get anywhere else. The Space Needle is clean, well-run, and worth the price for anyone visiting Seattle. The staff was friendly, the lines moved fast, and the entire observation deck felt modern and safe. Whether it’s your first time in Seattle or you’ve lived here your whole life, the Space Needle gives you a completely different view of the city. If you’re looking for top things to do in Seattle, the Space Needle is absolutely a must-see. The views, the height, the rotating floor, and the photos you can take here are unbeatable. Our pictures came out beautiful even with the clouds and the whole experience makes you understand why this is one of the most famous attractions in Washington. Highly recommend visiting if you want stunning Seattle views, amazing photos, and a unique experience you won’t get anywhere else.

We had a very fun time going up. The view is spectacular. We talked about going up the newer, taller observation deck, but it was sold out, so we did the Space Needle. I was glad we did, it's set apart from the other tall buildings so I think you probably get a more interesting view. Plus it's iconic. I thought the rotating floor was fun. I would recommend reserving a time slot in advance. We went during the week in the morning and it wasn't too busy.
Leslie M — Google review
We checked this place out for sunset recently and had a great visit. The timeline of events leading up to the opening of the Space Needle as you wait in line for the elevator is pretty cool. The elevator ride to the top is quick, but offers great views. The employee riding with us was informative and funny. The views from the top are spectacular. We unfortunately didn’t have the best view of Mt. Rainier on this visit, but you could see a silhouette in the distance. It was a beautiful sunset that day and well worth the trip. Highly recommend.

We were a party of 4 adults and visited on a Thursday morning at 11 am. We all had a great experience and enjoyed our visit . Everyone should go once. They offer a military discount , but those tickets can only be purchased in person. The process to buy tickets and enter is easy. Grounds and interior spotless. The elevator ride to the top of the Space Needle is so fast we really didn’t see the city as we rode up. I felt there were too many people in the elevator at once. The views are spectacular and lots of seating inside and outdoors. There is a casual cafe and bar at the top. There’s not anything to do except walk around, look at the views, take pictures, buy snacks and drinks. We were done with our visit in 45 minutes , but stretched it to 90 minutes by buying drinks and sitting down and talking. There is a very expensive Resturant ($100 per person) at the top and we’d like to visit that at night on a special occasion. The gift shop is very nice .

The Space Needle is an absolute must-visit landmark in Seattle! The views from the top are breathtaking—you can see Mount Rainier, Puget Sound, the downtown skyline, and even the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges on a clear day. The glass floors and floor-to-ceiling windows make the experience feel modern and thrilling, and the rotating glass floor adds a really unique touch. The elevators are fast, the staff are friendly, and the exhibits inside give a great bit of history about the 1962 World’s Fair. It can get crowded, so it’s best to go early or at sunset for the best views and photos. A little pricey, but totally worth it for such an iconic Seattle experience!

Chihuly Garden and Glass is a stunning museum and sculpture garden that showcases the breathtaking glass works of renowned artist Dale Chihuly. Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Chihuly has gained global recognition for his vibrant and expansive collection of glass blown creations spanning over five decades. The museum, located near the iconic Space Needle in Seattle Center, offers visitors an immersive experience with both indoor and outdoor displays of Chihuly's magnificent sculptures.
This glass exhibit was beautifully displayed. The lighting was superb to show the multiple colors of the glass. The gardens were easy to navigate too. I watched a glass blowing demonstration, which runs on a regular schedule. There's a bar inside with the most interesting decor. Great menu and drinks, my drink was $20, so it's pricy. I bought a museum and Space Needle combo ticket which made it definitely worth it. Would highly recommend.

We visited Chihuly Garden and Glass right after our trip up the Seattle Space Needle, and the convenience can't be beaten. The two attractions are located very close to each other, making it a perfect combo for a day at the Seattle Center. From the moment we stepped inside, I was totally astonished. The artwork displayed, made entirely from glass, is beyond impressive. The vibrant colors, the organic shapes, the dramatic lighting, and the massive, complex formations all combined to form a constant "wow" factor in every single room. It feels like walking through a magical, otherworldly garden. Be aware that it is a compact museum, so I can easily imagine how crowded the indoor galleries can get during peak busy seasons. We were there in October and found the conditions perfect—the crowds were manageable and the weather was ideal. Speaking of weather, the outdoor garden area is absolutely beautiful, with the glass sculptures intertwined with natural foliage. However, I do think anyone visiting in the summer might have a hard time enduring the heat there, as it's quite exposed. Our autumn visit provided the perfect climate to enjoy both the intricate indoor exhibits and the beautiful garden setting at a leisurely pace. A must-see for art lovers, but timing your visit can make all the difference.
Jayne Z — Google review
It took us less than an hour to walk through, but every display was stunning and full of detail. One thing that really stood out to us was how clean everything was. The air felt spotless and there was no dust on or around the glass pieces, which was amazing to see. Outside, there was live glass blowing, and they were making vases while explaining the process. It was fascinating to watch, and the artists were great at interacting with the audience and answering questions. Overall, it was a short visit but very memorable and worth seeing.

This is a must stop when you’re in Seattle. You see some beautiful amazing glass art and there’s a beautiful garden outside that you can relax and enjoy. The garden is unique because it’s a combination of nature with glass art. I also truly enjoyed seeing the art made live. The artist was also explained the process, which was very educational. The souvenirs at the gift shop are beautiful but overpriced. I am so glad we just went before the time on our ticket because the glasshouse was closing at the time of our reservation due to a private event. They did not tell us this when we were purchasing the tickets online and I believe we paid the same price. Thankfully, we got there early and was able to see it. We also enjoyed a glass of wine at the bar there, where the service was great. This is definitely a great museum to see when you’re in Seattle.

The Chihuly Garden and Glass is absolutely stunning—one of the most beautiful and unique attractions in Seattle! Every exhibit is a masterpiece of color, light, and imagination. The glass sculptures are breathtaking, from the intricate indoor installations to the vibrant pieces displayed among the gardens. The Glasshouse itself, with its massive hanging sculpture and view of the Space Needle through the glass ceiling, is simply spectacular. The layout is easy to navigate, the staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, and the gift shop is filled with beautiful keepsakes. Whether you’re an art lover or just looking for something inspiring and peaceful, this is a must-see experience that captures the creativity and magic of Dale Chihuly’s work.

This place is absolutely stunning. We bought a combined ticket to visit the Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass, which worked really well. The glass artwork is incredible - so intricate, colourful and creative. The exhibition showcases the unique style of Dale Chihuly, with both indoor galleries and outdoor garden installations that make it a truly immersive experience. Definitely worth a visit if you appreciate art and design.

Don’t miss!!!! What a stunning museum. The art is vibrant and mesmerizing. Video was worth watching to learn more about Chuhily’s methods, history and passion for glass blowing. Take your time and wander through. The shop is delightful. Bought a piece woot!

Amazing pieces. Seattle location has been on my list after visiting the St Pete location. The glass house and garden was gorgeous as well and enjoyed watching his work in the theatre. I watched the live glass blowing as well and it was so fun to watch. The bar was so cute with all his collections showcased. My only thing was I paid $20 for what tasted like a $6 happy hour premade margarita. Cocktail bars are cheaper and they are handcrafted. Regardless, the bartender and all the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend checking this museum out

Seattle Center is a bustling community events complex featuring an array of attractions such as museums, theaters, restaurants, and shops. It is also home to the iconic Space Needle. KEXP at Seattle Center offers guided tours of its renowned audio and video broadcasting studios, while the Light in the Attic Record Store and La Marzocco Cafe and Showroom provide unique music releases and specialty coffees.
Seattle is a beautiful city with so much to do & see. It's best to park and walk. Just be prepared with comfortable shoes because streets are steep especially going up. Read reviews before going to restaurants do not let the fancy names trap you.

Chihuly Glass Museum and Garden was so dope! I loved it! The glass structures were colorful and unique. I took lots of pictures. A wonderful gem under the Space Needle. Worth the $45 ticket price. So glad we didn't buy the combo ticket. The Space Needle line was out the door and snaked around inside. We didn't want to wait that long. Parking prices were atrocious! Absolutely ridiculous! The price plus two taxes and a service fee helped balloon the cost! And no parking security to roam around for that price either!

We wanted to see both-Chihully is right next door and BOTH were a MUST DO-SEE event! Sun was out, no rain so great time to visit! Had mo idea that thd second floor was glass and rotated! Bery cool interactive selfie picture areas too! What a view!

Space needle is great! The view is spectacular. The food and drinks are overpriced so I wouldn't go hungry. Surrounding parks and sights are nice. PS. If going to the space needle reserve tickets in advance as to not wait in the long ticket line.

We spent the evening at Chihuli Garden & Glass - a must see art exhibit, then apps and drinks at The Bar at Chihuli, we had a reserved spot for the Space Needle at sunset which was a wonderful and well run attraction, and pie and a pint at TipTop Pies before heading down to select a blown glass ornament from the gift shop.

The Museum of Pop Culture, located in Seattle, is a must-visit for anyone interested in music, pop culture, and science fiction. The museum showcases over 80,000 American artifacts including items from iconic musicians like Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin's bell-bottoms and Elvis Presley's leather jacket. Designed by Frank Gehry to resemble a smashed guitar, the ultra-modern building also features the Sky Church performance arena for concerts.
We had a blast. We loved all the exhibits, and especially the sound lab! This is a must visit place, for all ages. My favorite was 2nd floor with the sci-fi, fantasy and horror exhibits. The music church was a nice place to rest and soak in the music. In Sept 2025, the Black music exhibit was a special experience.
Savvy R — Google review
This is among the core attractions of Seattle as the museum provides great insights into music, movies, comics and associated culture. The exhibitions in the museum keep on changing and associated information is available on the website. Tickets can be purchased online as well as at the spot. The Museum is located in the Seattle Center area and is accessible by bus, mono rail, self driving, as well as the city tour hop on hop off tour bus. The music is closed each week on a Wednesday instead of Sunday. The museum has an interesting outlook as the building has a very futuristic and artistic outlook with buildings in various colors.

Museum was super cool. Lots of different genres of pop culture to experience (Fantasy, sci-fi, anime, music, video games, etc). There were some really fun interactive exhibits too (Indie video game and the Sound Lab). I really loved the Sound Lab and playing the instruments. The horror section was awesome as well. A very cool museum right next to the Space Needle. Definitely worth a visit if you're into pop culture. We went on a Monday. It never felt too busy. The staff was very friendly as well.

My oh my!! There are no words to describe this museum. You have to live it. Great exhibitions from music to movies. Amazing valuable artifacts belonging to great celebrities. The Jimmy Hendrix exhibition is amazing and If you are a fan of Nirvana you will be blown away. On the top floor you can experiment and learn musical instruments. I was amazed because there are individual boots where you can practice. Incredible! It is not cheap specially the souvenirs but is totally worth it. The location is great. It is near the Neaddle and there is a tram stop right beside it. Don't miss a photo with Chris Cornell statue. Save at least a morning to visit it.

I have visited MoPOP a couple of times and loved how immersive it the exhibits are! From iconic music history to sci-fi, horror, fantasy, and pop-culture moments, this museum has everything we all grew up with. Plus, the building itself is a piece of art, and you can easily spend 2–3 hours here without realizing it. If you enjoy music, movies, or anything nostalgic, MoPOP is absolutely worth a visit. Just be ready for crowds on weekends!

Very good exhibition on Jimmy Hendrix ! Was hoping for more on underground Seattle music from 80’. Great exhibition on horror movies and Science Fiction films. There was an exhibit on Asian comic culture, but I haven’t explored this one . The building itself is very impressive as is collection of the famous musician’s guitars 🎸

Interesting place for many! Loved their space exhibition. Found much stuff to do even for 5yo. And special plesure was tgeir outside playground even with chilly and wet weather. Lot of diverse fun! Strong 5💫 experience with leave/come in option diring the day.

I had a very good experience, wish I could have had more time, but loved the Asian comics exhibition it was very interesting and has comics from different countries in Asia. The other exhibits were also very good, Fantasy, Terror and Science Fiction, q lot of original prompts from well known movies. had a very wonderful time with my family. One thing I didn't like at all was that in the shop they sell a lot of AI generated art in their t shirts... that was really disappointing.

Kerry Park, nestled in the Queen Anne district of Seattle, is a small neighborhood park that offers breathtaking panoramic views of Downtown and the iconic Space Needle. The park features a viewing platform on a hill, providing visitors with picture-perfect shots of Seattle's skyline and waterfront. On clear days, lucky visitors may even catch a glimpse of Mount Rainier in the background. The park is particularly popular during sunset and attracts tourists seeking to capture stunning photographs.
A Picture-Perfect Gem in Seattle - The best seat in the town. Kerry Park is hands-down one of the most breathtaking spots in Seattle. Perched in the quiet Queen Anne neighborhood, this small terraced park offers a postcard-worthy view of the city skyline, with the majestic Space Needle front and center and Mount Rainier looming in the distance on clear days. It’s the kind of place that makes you pause, breathe, and just take it all in. Whether you visit at sunrise for a peaceful start to your day or come at night to see the city lights shimmer across Elliott Bay, the view never disappoints. It’s a favorite for photographers, couples, tourists, and locals alike. And despite its popularity, it retains a calm, intimate vibe—perfect for a quick escape or a quiet picnic. An Amazing spot to get a clear panoramic view of Downtown Seattle. The best viewing point is located at the end of the park beyond the railing, and that is the spot to get best picture for Seattle Downton Background. This park is located in a residential neighborhood and must not be very comfortable for the residents as tourists swarm this spot. The place is easily accessible from downtown with a couple of buses number 2 and 13 that drop you off at a 4 minute walk. There are 8 city facing benches that allow a calm viewing. There are a couple of telescopes installed that can be used with coins. There are nice grass gardens and a unique sculpture as well. The park is dog friendly and short duration free street parking is available. This is also a good spot for a picnic on a nice day.

It is definitely one of the best spots to get an amazing view of the skyline and more. One should also walk up to the end of the road if you are around sunset time to view one of those awesome seattle sunsets. Don't expect the park to be like any other big parks.. it's just a small place on the side of the street with a few benches.

Definitely a beautiful view of the city. Worth going to. As far as a park goes, not really much of one besides the benches looking out. Just thin. So don’t expect a playground and trails and gazebos or anything. Haha. It’s all about the skyline view- and that’s perfect!

Kerry Park is one of the most iconic and breathtaking viewpoints in all of Seattle. If you want that perfect postcard view of the Seattle skyline with the Space Needle in the foreground and Mount Rainier standing majestically in the background, this is the spot. No trip to Seattle is complete without visiting this small but unforgettable park. Located in the Queen Anne neighborhood, Kerry Park is easy to reach by car or rideshare. Parking can be a little limited since it’s a residential area, so visiting early in the morning or around sunset is best. The park itself is small — just a few benches, a grassy slope, and a railing — but the view it offers makes it one of the most photographed spots in the Pacific Northwest. I went around sunset, and the scene was magical. The sky turned golden and then deep orange as the city lights started to glow, creating a perfect balance of urban and natural beauty. On a clear day, you can even spot Mount Rainier in the distance, which makes the view absolutely breathtaking. At night, the Space Needle shines brightly, and it’s one of the most romantic and peaceful spots to just stand and take it all in. There’s no entry fee, and you can stay as long as you like. It’s also a great place for photography — whether you’re using a DSLR, phone, or drone (outside restricted zones). Many locals come here for quick evening walks or to show the view to visiting friends and family. 💡 Tips: Best time to visit: Sunset or after dark for city lights. Bring a jacket — it can get windy. Limited parking, so plan accordingly. Don’t forget your camera! 📸 All photos and videos in this review were personally captured by me during my visit. Overall, Kerry Park perfectly captures the spirit of Seattle — calm, scenic, and full of character. A must-visit spot for anyone who wants to see the city at its most beautiful.

Come see this gorgeous post card view for yourself because the photos do not do it justice! My boyfriend and I went last night and got so lucky with weather that we were able to see Mount Rainier in the background! So beautiful, and great little spot to hang out

This is a perfect spot to spend an evening watching the sunset. The golden light beautifully illuminates the Seattle skyline and Mount Rainier in the distance. While it's a small space that can get crowded, the incredible view makes it worth it. Free on-street parking is available but can be tricky to find. If you're looking for one of the best views of the Seattle skyline, this should be at the top of your list.

The views are especially breathtaking on a clear, sunny day, when the sunlight highlights the architecture and creates a vibrant, lively atmosphere. It’s an ideal location for sightseeing, photography, or just relaxing while taking in the impressive scenery. Whether you’re a local resident or a visitor, this attraction offers a great opportunity to appreciate the harmony between urban development and natural beauty. I suggest planning your visit for a sunny weather forecast to fully enjoy the picturesque surroundings and make the most of this remarkable spot. Overall, this is a must-see for anyone who appreciates well-designed cities and stunning coastal landscapes.

The Seattle Great Wheel is one of the best attractions on the waterfront! The ride offers incredible panoramic views of Elliott Bay, downtown Seattle, and the Olympic Mountains—especially beautiful at sunset or after dark when the wheel lights up. Each gondola is enclosed and climate-controlled, so it’s comfortable no matter the weather. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the whole experience feels safe and well-run. It’s a little on the pricey side, but the views and memories make it totally worth it. Whether you’re a local showing off the city or a visitor exploring for the first time, the Seattle Great Wheel is a must-see landmark!
Ajit K — Google review
Little pricey, but it's a tourist destination so the wife and I had to do it while visiting Seattle and cheaper than Navy Pier. We went around 5 rotations allowing you to take in all the sights and plenty of time for pictures. Your group is able to get a cabin to yourselves, up to 6, which is nice for some time away from other tourists. We all know how that can be.

The Seattle Great Wheel is a fun experience and a great way to see the city from a new angle. The views of the waterfront and mountains are awesome, especially at sunset. The ride feels smooth and safe, and the cabins are surprisingly comfortable. It is a bit pricey for how short the ride is, but you’re really paying for the view and the novelty of it. Overall, it’s a solid 4-star stop if you’re exploring the pier.
Andrew H — Google review
I visited in mid-October so there was not much of a line. We bought tickets at the venue and waited about 25 minutes before stepping onto the wheel. This is located right on the pier and gives you a good view of Puget Sound and the Market Place areas of Seattle. We were a little surprised by how fast the wheel turned, but we did go around 5 times before exiting the attraction. We had clear skies and mild temperatures on the day we were at the Seattle Great Wheel. The views were stunning and the value for the ride was worth the price of admission. We paid $23 per adult. The individual cars can fit up to six people; we were fortunate to have only the two of us in the car.
Paul C — Google review
This spot’s definitely a must-see if you’re in downtown Seattle. Just know that if you come later, it can feel a little quiet. Grab your tickets online and show up early — the wait is limited to 60 minutes. There’s not a ton to interact with since things move pretty fast, but it’s still a cool place to grab some Instagram-worthy shots with that classic Seattle backdrop
Alex B — Google review
Enjoy the ride with children. Able to see the city from the top, a great experience for visitors who wish to get a glimpse of the city and its surroundings. Tickets can be full queues at time, less busy during weekdays.

Bakery
Daily Dozen is a popular spot in Pike Place Market that offers a variety of sweet treats, including coffee, donuts, bread, and savory pies. The establishment is known for its unique specialties and fresh offerings that attract both locals and tourists with a penchant for delicious donuts. Whether you prefer traditional flavors or enjoy watching the donut-making process, Daily Dozen has something to offer.
Some of the best Donuts I ever had. Had a dozen cinnamon fresh out the machine. The lady must thrown in at least 16 though, so thx for that. Had some the next day and they were still delicious.
Amine K — Google review
A must try for down and dirty, yummy mini donuts! This was my third time here over the years. The cinnamon and powdered sugar are the best. Don’t worry about the maple ones. The service was friendly and quick! They know what they are doing. The market was loud and busy (which was fine), but the line took a long while and their stand was not clean…maybe it’s they ARE so busy and crowded, which is okay.
Mark J — Google review
I'm sorry I don't get it. These were not worth the price tag. Dudes working here looked like they were over it and it was barely a bit after noon. The maple bacon and sprinkles were way too sweet and weren't warm. The only warm ones were the plain and cinnamon/sugar. I also ordered a cappuccino (omg no!!) No! We purchased the dozen mixed and tried one of each. I threw away that cappuccino (shaking head). I get it tourist-y spot but it's a no for me.
Michelle Y — Google review
Some of the best donuts I’ve had. Maple especially was excellent
Kareem Z — Google review
This place was cool! We got an assorted and dozen and my favorite donuts were the sprinkled - the cinnamon donuts are really good too. The craziest part is that you can see the donut machine and they take out the donuts fresh! Great time!
Adam H — Google review
A dozen a day keeps the depression at bay! Took the harbour cruise and the tour guide said that this stall had the best donuts in the city. I went and verified her claim, they were incredible. Soft and warm on the inside with crunch on the outside (not to mention the variety). I ordered the assortment and got to try all their flavours which I recommend. They’re ticked to the left of the fish market as you enter Pike Place. Worth every penny.
Daniel M — Google review
I had some difficulty finding the place, but once I did I felt kind of dumb because it's right inside the Pike's Market entrance (turn left at the first fish stand). Glad I finally found it, because the donuts are fantastic! They are really small, so I'd definitely recommend getting a dozen and a half or two dozen if it's for several people. We got an assortment of their flavors, including cinnamon sugar, chocolate sprinkle, maple, etc. I think the basic cinnamon sugar one was my favorite, but all were delicious. Highly recommend!
Jon A — Google review
Cinnamon donuts were soft and nice especially when you get a fresh batch which is served hot .. ! Others flavors were ok too..! Hazelnut Latte was nice as well..!

Matt's in the Market is a renowned restaurant located on the third floor of Seattle's Corner Market Building, offering stunning views of Elliott Bay. Founded by Matt Jancke in 1996, it celebrates Pacific Northwest cuisine with a focus on seasonal specials and an extensive wine selection. The restaurant draws inspiration from Pike Place Market as a prime source of ingredients. With its calm atmosphere and kind waitstaff, it has become a favorite dining spot for locals and visitors alike.
The food was fresh, done well, with amazing combinations of texture, temperature, flavors, etc. We tried the fried fish sandwich, the pork sandwich, and sides of clam chowder and potato salad. They were each incredible! The service was friendly and complete. The space was cool and clean! Thank you for an amazing experience today!

Thought Matt’s in the Market might be a tourist trap, but it completely exceeded expectations. Service was impeccable—even when there was a small hiccup with our reservation, it was promptly and professionally handled. The views are absolutely stunning, and the food is next level. The salmon was perfectly cooked—fresh, simple, and delicious. Highly recommend!

Located across from the famous Pike Place market sign. Make sure to make reservations. The restaurant does not have a massive amount of seating. All the staff here were amazing. Our bartender was the best. He gave us so many recommendations to visit around the area. He also was able to answer any questions we had. The ambiance was perfect with views of the market. Cleanliness was superb. The food was amazing. Would recommend this place and visit again.

Had a lovely time, great drinks, stellar service from Sam W. The oysters, beef tar tar, and pork were INCREDIBLE. My friends had the octopus and said the depth of flavor was spot on, they raved and raved about it! Sadly, I could only give 4 stars for the food because the halibut I had was overdone and therefore dry, even with the delicious gazpacho it was served with. Over cooked white fish is always a let down, but I would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Lydia M — Google review
The menu here is very eclectic. ATMOSPHERE: As soon as you walk in it feels like you're in someone's apartment. Old, quaint, dim accent lighting, open air, cinder block walls & varnished wood ceilings with huge windows with a great view of the Public Market. The kitchen is in open view. FOOD: Burrata Mozzarella pieces with a balsamic fig sauce, fresh figs, rhubarb and toasted bread. This was really good. Nice app to sweeten your palette. Grilled Octopus Damn this was good! A couple of legs with kimchee & arugula. Yummy! Charcuterie The selection changes daily. We got steak tartar, rabbit patte, raw scallops with tobiko, and chicken liver mousse. Everything was delish! Raw phoebes beware! Half Roasted Chicken Crispy & tender chicken over mashed potatoes, with wild mushrooms, pearl onions and sprouts on the side. I almost never order chicken in restaurants because its so boring and common, but our server recommended this and it was delish! He might've changed my discriminative mind! Kurobuta Pork Tenderloin Super tender pre-cut chunks of pork with a smooth salty flavor, over a bed of mashed potatoes, greens, ham hock, and 2 pieces of chicharone. SERVICE: We had reservations for 9:30 pm. The place was still pretty busy. The host greeted us within a minute. Our server was very attentive and professional. Our drinks never got below half before they were refilled. Excellent without being overdone. OVERALL: Excellent food and service. A great alternative if you've had enough seafood.

The whole experience is quintessentially Seattle. Expect delicious seafood, excellent service, and a view right above Pike Place Market. Watching the sunset over the water beneath the buzz and glow of the iconic neon sign is an absolute bucket list dining experience. If you love seafood you can’t go wrong with the seafood stew. It’s absolutely loaded - salmon, clams, scallops. Yum!
Patrick M — Google review
Cute spot with a great view, but the food is underwhelming for the price. The seafood stew is pretty good, and thankfully it's a pretty large portion, but the flavors are very basic and none of the seafood is cooked particularly well. Some others in our party ordered some other mains which were even more expensive with very small portions and again, just not good enough to justify it. Matt's isn't bad, but with all the competition for good food in the market, you have plenty of better options.
Kyle C — Google review
The seafood stew is amazing, my partner had the halibut said it was good. The service was fine by most of the staff. The waitress was a buzz head, black hair lady.. was very rude, no checking in.. didn’t even finish service with her, had the hostess and bartender help us out bc she wasn’t around. Waited over 40 mins for the stew

Lenox Afro Latin Soul is a newly opened Puerto Rican restaurant located in Belltown. The menu offers a variety of delicious options, with the coconut lime tres leches dessert being a standout favorite for many. Visitors have praised the balanced flavors and less sweet profile, comparing it to a delightful twist on key lime pie. Guests have also enjoyed the tasty food and great cocktails, making for an excellent dining experience at this new spot in town.
We went for a special event dinner so all of these food items may not be on the normal menu. We enjoyed the crispy rice and the pineapple fancier cake the most. The Edgar Martinez drink was also great. Dishes were very flavorful! The staff was friendly and although they were busy working the event, they checked on us as often as possible and made the experience fun. I’ll definitely be back to try the regular menu!

Food was delicious! We had a large group with many different selections. Everyone from vegetarians in our group to those that are admittedly adventurous loved the experience. The only criticism was our waiter seemed a little disappointed and slightly upset that we didn’t order the chefs selection. It was basically what they feel like we should order. We end up ordering individually, and everyone was much happier. I felt like they wanted to give us more food than we actually ended up eating. This is minor, because the experience was great! Amazing food and different cuisine. Highly recommend.

Lenox restaurant is seriously impressive! We visited on vacation to Seattle and it was such a highlight. Wonderful service, fun and inviting atmosphere, and incredibly delicious food that you won’t find anywhere else. Many dishes are served family style, so it’s an ideal spot to bring a group and share everything together. Definitely put this place on your list for a genuinely memorable experience!

A must visit for me. From the drinks to the service to all the dishes. Amazing. Can't go wrong. Vibe and service was great. Made a reservation for 3 and quickly got sat down. Besides that, there was no line before or after we got there. Drinks: can't go wrong with any of them. Lots of flavor and complexity (I tried some of the gin drinks and were very nicely done, especially for someone who is not into gin). They did take a bit of time for the dishes to arrive and they preemptively compted the drinks without us asking for it. 10/10 service right there. For the food, go family style. Every dish was exquisite. The lechón had to be my favorite along with the pastelillos. Great crunch with the lechón. The tres leches dessert had a homemade jam and whip cream on top that was just top notch. Almost ordered a second serving for how good it is. For a group of 3, order ~5 dishes total.

After seeing it was named top 20 restaurants by Bon Appetit this year, I had to make it out to Lenox! I think the only criticism I have is that the mofongo was a tad bit salty, but it and everything else was seriously amazing. I’m dreaming of the pastelillos as I write this. The service was also so great and so welcoming. I recommend you try this place at least once!
Chris B — Google review
This is one of the most delicious meals I’ve ever had in Seattle. The empanadas, seared halibut and sauces were the highlights. This restaurant is pricier but I thought it was worth every penny. The cocktails and servers were wonderful as well.
Alexis A — Google review
I was disappointed after all the hype. It was interesting to have Carribean food but I found it ok not exceptional. And while the ingredients were high quality the flavors were blander than I expected. The ceviche was ok but I thought the fish could have bit cut thinner and the sauce more sharp. The mafongo sauce also seemed a bit dead, despite the stew ingredients being tasty. Steak Bavette with chimi was good. Cocktails more interesting descriptions than the actual flavor. Wine was dreadful. Service was slow between appetizers and entrees and I arrived late at my post dinner event. Worth going but I would not go twice.
Lovina M — Google review
The service at this restaurant is excellent and the staff are very friendly. We ordered Alcapurrias to start with which were incredible (we ended up ordering a second portion!) and a Pollo Al Carbon which we didn’t like as it looked a little too pink and too salty, but they took care of that one for us, which was nice. Overall had a great experience and will back next time we’re in Seattle!

Sizzle & Crunch SLU is a Vietnamese fast-casual restaurant that offers generous portions of food for $10. The ordering process is similar to Chipotle, where customers can choose from a variety of proteins and toppings for their banh mis, rice, or salad bowls. Customers praise the ample servings of veggies and protein, with options like grilled chicken and sunny side up eggs. The BB special banh mi is highly recommended for its large portion size and quick service.
Food was so good! I got there pork bowl with rice and their house green sauce. Food was amazing! Service was amazing and pretty quick. I got my food and sat out on their patio and had my dinner. Thank you Sizzle and Crunch for making me first meal in Seattle one to remember!

Very nice build your own meal restaurant, fast service and friendly staff. There is some good spice and the rice is similar to Cơm Tấm. There is beef, pork belly, sunny side up eggs, and more toppings. Would recommend!
Khoi N — Google review
My husband and I stopped by Sizzle & Crunch for the first time, and it was such a great find! It’s tucked away in a really cute little area (we’re new to Seattle so I don’t quite know the neighborhood yet), but the location adds to its charm. From the moment we walked in, the staff was super friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better. The portions were generous and definitely worth the price. I ordered the strawberry lemonade half-sweet, refreshing and tasty, though a little more sour than I expected, so next time I’d go full sweet. For food, I built my own chicken bowl, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was well-seasoned, the toppings were fresh, and the balance of flavors came together perfectly. What impressed me the most was the rice, it was fluffy and cooked just right. I really dislike when rice in bowls is mushy or clumpy, but here it was spot on and tied the whole dish together. The atmosphere is casual yet inviting, making it a great spot for a quick but satisfying meal. Overall, Sizzle & Crunch hit all the marks for flavor, quality, and service. We’ll definitely be back to try more!

I recently tried the grilled chicken rice bowl with all the toppings from Sizzle and Crunch, and it was fantastic. The dish was very tasty and affordable, with great portion size that left me feeling satisfied. The grilled chicken was tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the fresh and crunchy vegetables. Special mention goes to the green sauce – it was delicious, creamy, and packed with flavor. It added a delightful kick to the dish and tied all the ingredients together beautifully. I could easily eat it every day! The setting is simple and comfortable, ideal for both solo diners and groups. The service was quick, making it an ideal spot for a fast yet delicious meal. They emphasize that their food is prepared daily to deliver that burst of flavor you’ve been craving, and they definitely delivered on that promise. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tasty, affordable, and satisfying meal.

Great vibes. Pretty good views from both field level and :3rd level. Found pretty interesting for a Wednesday 1:00 pm game and the entry was super long line up. We were at the game 30 minutes after the start. This could be improved. It is the experience and we loved it all but really didn’t like how the parking around the park was not only ridiculously expensive also impossible to find one 20 minutes before start. Regardless of all, fantastic experience to enjoy some good ball game.

We love this park! Not a bad seat in the house. The bleechers actually have a better view than the club level! Always a great game, great food but make sure you bring a small mortgage with you. Even if you're not drinking. Bathrooms are usually always clean too! Great for a date night or weekend adventure with the family. Plenty of room for your badass kids to run! We got to see both the Savannah blBananas games when they were here but also MANY Mariners games as well! Go M's 💙💚

As Vancouver doesn’t have a Major League team, I sometimes attend games with my family, who are keen on baseball. The food is generally good, the staff are friendly, and the various events held during the game make for an enjoyable time. When it rains, the dome closes, and on fine days or during evening fireworks displays, watching it open is quite a sight. However, I feel it would be safer if crowd movement through the concourses were managed with a little more order.

This was my 2nd Major League Baseball game so not sure if my review helps much. It’s beautiful. The layout is easy to navigate as well as accessibility of the park. We used the elevators and sat in the accessible seating since my dad has a hard time walking up & down stairs.

I love going to a game and spending most of my time in the bull pen bar area. T-Mobile customers get their own special fast entrance which is really nice too! They have a good selection of food and drinks and the stadium is pretty clean. The bathrooms never smell bad either which is really nice!

Bar
Bill Speidel’s Underground Tour in Seattle is a popular tourist attraction that offers guided subterranean walks through the original city before it was destroyed by the 1889 fire. Visitors can explore storefronts and sidewalks buried beneath the streets of Pioneer Square while learning about the history of the underground city. The tour is highly recommended by both locals and visitors, providing a unique perspective on Seattle's past.
What an unforgettable experience! If you're in Seattle, the **Beneath the Streets** tour is an absolute must, and I can't recommend it enough. Our tour guide, **Richard**, truly made the whole experience. From the moment we met him, his friendly and funny personality made us feel right at home. He had this perfect mix of humor, knowledge, and storytelling that kept the tour engaging from start to finish. Richard didn't just guide us through the historical tunnels beneath Seattle—he brought the city's past to life in a way that felt both fun and educational. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does, and it’s contagious! He made sure to involve everyone in the group, offering fun facts, quirky anecdotes, and a few hilarious stories that you wouldn’t find in a history book. His passion for Seattle's history, especially the wild tales of the city's underground, really shone through. The way Richard answered questions and kept things lively was so refreshing—it felt less like a tour and more like an exciting adventure into the past. The tour itself was well-paced, informative, and perfectly sized, and Richard’s charm added that personal touch that made it all the more enjoyable. Whether you're a history buff or just looking for a unique experience in Seattle, Beneath the Streets with Richard is a winner. Thank you, Richard, for making this such a memorable experience—we’ll definitely be telling friends to check it out next time they’re in town!

Great but long...our guide was amazing and funny (Adam I think). Tour was very informative about the underground history of Seattle. Several stairs for those that have walking issues. Fairly priced. Don't forget to tip tour guide.

A friend found this place online since I had an upcoming trip to Seatown. Good find my friend! The tickets for adults were $30. There's a cafe inside that if you purchase something, it gives you priority access to sit in the room where your tour starts before everyone else. Not really necessary if you ask me. The first part of the 75-minute tour is info on the history of Seattle, the men responsible for the preservation of the area, and how the tour got started. The large group is then split into 4 smaller groups of about 20-30 people. The guides speak very loudly so you never strain to hear what they're saying. You then exit the room and cross the street where you see 3 underground areas that are amazingly still intact. Our guide was Rod, who was great. There's a musty smell and lots of cobwebs but no visible spiders or creatures if you're wondering. The walk isn't hard by any means, but there are some mild stairs and low overhangs and doorways. I don't think claustrophobic people will have any problems. You end up in a gift shop, no surprise, right next door to where the tour started. OVERALL: Awesome & interesting tour. Highly recommended!
Maui T — Google review
My friend and I decided to do the Underground Tour and it was good. We did the first tour at 10 AM with a really funny tour guide. They walked you through some of the city underground and above ground while giving you the history. It's a neat tour. There was an incident where an unhoused person punched a guy on the tour. However, the tour guide and his boss ensured the person left. If you're in the city, do this 75 minute tour. You'll enjoy it.

It was a lovely tour. Our guide Clay was very great at making sure the crowd was safe and in good humor. The jokes were awesome. It was a bit of walking however there was chairs along the way for older folks to enjoy the sights. There is so many secrets that we were not previ to unless you take the tour. It was worth it for sure!
Arthur R — Google review
Very interesting tour. Not only do you walk through the underground passages but you’d learn a lot about the history of Seattle. The tour guide did a great job bringing stories to life!
Alfahad91 — Google review
The Underground Tour is a really fun way to pass the time in Seattle. It’s unique, informative, and gives you the chance to learn a lot of cool history about the city while actually walking through its underground passages. The guides keep it interesting and entertaining, so it never feels boring. Getting to see the hidden parts of Seattle that most people don’t even know exist is definitely a highlight. It’s something different from the usual tourist stops and gives you a whole new perspective on the city. That said, the spaces are narrow in some areas, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re claustrophobic. For everyone else, it’s a great activity that’s both educational and fun, especially if you want to mix up your Seattle experience.

Besides the historical tunnels with all items it was especially the enthousiastic story telling presentation (stand up comedian style ) by our host which made this Underground Tour a rememberable 'cultural' event.

Points of Interest & Landmarks
The Gum Wall, located in an alley under Pike Place Market, is a unique and somewhat gross attraction that has been accumulating used chewing gum since the 1990s. Visitors can explore the market's different levels, sample various foods, and visit nearby attractions like the World Famous Giant Shoe Museum and the original Starbucks before venturing to see this unusual mural.
The fact that tens of thousands of people, from all over the country and all over the world, have added to something so simple and typically innocuous, simply blows my mind with the sheer magnitude of its size. I loved how people were getting creative with such a simple act, and random strangers were interacting so friendly, helping each other take photos and being polite, when excusing themselves out of the way of a photo being taken. There's a poster wall that adjoins it, which is equally as fascinating with its local and national take on socioeconomic politics as well as general life happenstances. I probably got just as much culture in Post Alley than a pop-up or small museum! Plus, I'm a people watcher, so seeing the interactions was a big part of the experience. I love seeing people happy, and helping each other out, even if they can't communicate through native languages!

Another unmissable Downtown Seattle attraction. This famous wall is located right below the Pike Place market in the Post Alley, and actually starts right below the big Farmer Market sign of Pike Place Market. As soon as you enter the alley you can smell the chewing gum flavor all around. Everything is covered in shewed up chewing gum including the walls, railings, and even the utility supply meters. It’s a tradition to stick a gum on these walls when you are here. A must visit spot.

While visiting Seatle I had the opportunity to visit The Seatle gum wall. I enjoyed the graffiti ( which I feel is a work of art through out the city) the gravitational led to the gum wall. The gum wall is gross yet beautiful. It was larger then anticipated with different segments of gum. The room had a distinguished smell to it.... a cross between juicy fruit gum and spearmint. You need to see it to experience its glory...
Cindy M — Google review
I recently experienced something that was both gross but unique, and it left me with very mixed feelings. From the moment I encountered it, there was an undeniable sense of discomfort and even a bit of disgust. The textures and visuals were off-putting, and I had to push myself to engage fully with it. However, what made the experience stand out was how unlike anything else it was. There was a creativity and daring quality to it that I couldn’t ignore. As time went on, I found myself thinking about how rare it is to come across something that can make you feel so conflicted. While parts of it were undeniably unpleasant, the originality was also commendable. It challenged my expectations and pushed me outside of my comfort zone, which I can appreciate, even if I wouldn’t necessarily seek it out again. Overall, I would describe the experience as a one-of-a-kind encounter that isn’t for everyone. If you’re someone who values novelty and can tolerate a bit of unpleasantness, you might find it fascinating. But if you’re looking for something traditionally enjoyable, this may not be the best choice. Either way, it’s an experience that sparks conversation and lingers in your memory.

Ummmm, I don't know what to say. It's a cross between gross and street art. On one hand it's beautiful and on the other hand, what the hell is going on. LOL. It was hard for us to find because it's actually under the Pike Place Market. Google has a problem when we tried to show us the street view because it only shows the subway, I'm assuming because it's on the lower elevation. Regardless, its very confusing. It's under the shops with the big sign that says Public Market Center (with a clock) down below, next to Market Theater. BTW - I don't think the city likes the gum because it covers all the meters and pipes. LOL-I'm putting gum on my meter at home hopping they won't see how much I use.

I really enjoyed visiting the Gum Wall in Seattle! It’s such a fun and quirky spot tucked away in Post Alley near Pike Place Market. The colorful wall is full of gum from people all over the world — it’s weird in the best way possible and definitely something you don’t see every day. The atmosphere is lively with people taking pictures, laughing, and just having fun. It’s also a short walk from so many other cool spots — Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and great food options nearby. If you go, make sure to bring a pack of gum so you can leave your mark, too! It’s one of those must-see Seattle landmarks that’s both a little gross and totally awesome at the same time. I’d definitely recommend stopping by for the experience and a few colorful photos.
Selena A — Google review
I found this place by accident. It's located on an abandoned-looking building in an alley below the Pike Street market. As soon as you arrive, you smell the faint hint of old sugar from a million or so chewed gums. The patterns & colors are pretty impressive up close. It's gross, nasty coolness. The ones on the window sill have a dripping effect that adds to the texture. There were a bunch of confused honey bees trying to pollinate the gum. The only other place I've seen something similar though on a much, much smaller scale is on an overpass in Venice, Italy walking from the pier into the city. And no, I didn't add to the artwork. Maybe I will next time.

A unique and quirky Seattle landmark! The Gum Wall is weird, colorful, and definitely something to see at least once. Great spot for fun photos, although a bit gross — but that’s part of the charm!

Located on Pier 59 along Elliott Bay, the Seattle Aquarium is a popular waterfront destination offering interactive exhibits and virtual reality shows. As a non-profit organization, it serves as the premier resource for marine experiences and conservation education in the Pacific Northwest. Visitors can explore the diverse sea life of the region while learning about conservation efforts through various educational programs. The aquarium provides an exciting way to discover more about Puget Sound and the world's oceans, making it a must-visit indoor attraction in Seattle.
We had a fantastic experience. It has changed a lot in the last decade or so. The new tropical exhibits are FANTASTIC! All the animals are very well taken care of, and the educational displays are done well. I think this will inspire a new generation towards oceanic conservation.
Chip R — Google review
Seattle Aquarium is a spot I like to visit when i travel to Seattle. It’s so pretty inside the building! The animals look like they’re healthy and are treated well. I believe my biggest issue with the aquarium is the fact that there’s not really a lot to see even with the Ocean Pavilion added onto the price. A lot of the stuff that they have is really cool and fun. You get to touch some of the animals as well. But it doesn’t seem like the quantity of animals equal the price of admission. I understand having to keep the aquarium funded. However, $80 for two people is just so much especially when there’s not a lot to do. Lastly, I will say, for the most part, the staff were nice however, others were a little interesting. We entered the building because the front door was open and we walked in. Multiple employees looked at us, but didn’t say anything so we didn’t think anything of it. Until one of them with a little bit of a raise voice said “oh we’re not open yet”. It was literally 30 seconds till opening. I can understand not wanting to have anyone in there but at the same time we could wait in the line until it was officially opened. It was very odd and rubbed me the wrong way. Other than that, go on a weekday, it’s cheaper. Because the usual price is $100 or more for two people.

Seattle Aquarium was overall a good experience. It is conveniently located in downtown and on the beautiful waterfront area and is also a short walk from the Pike Place Market. It was a fun and exciting experience, they have well maintained exhibits especially in the new Ocean pavilion building. We visited during off peak season in Fall so got a lot of time to enjoy the beautiful marine species. They staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and passionate and shared lot of interesting information. Enjoyed watching rays, sharks, seals and otters. We saw some unique ones like leopard shark, guitarfish and lion fish. It is smaller than some of the other aquariums that we had visited, it is also on the pricey side but as we bought the City Pass it was included in the list of attractions and saved some amount. The parking around the area is expensive so please take this into consideration or take public transportation. It is a definitely a fun place to visit with the entire family so would recommend it.
Mohammed A — Google review
Such a wonderful place! The ocean pavilion is incredibly well designed, watching all the fish in the large tank is such a fun experience. I enjoy the touch pool area where you get to interact with the sea creatures. The octopus is very fun, I recommend going to the 11am feeding. He gets very active then. I had a lot of fun by the closer look table where you get to see microscopic creatures in the water they take right from the pier! Who knew baby barnacles were so cute.
Nikolett M — Google review
It’s a small aquarium but it’s well organized and it has an interesting variety of sea life. Our children enjoyed it, for us adults, it was nice that we finished in one hour, not too exhausting. Very enjoyable. There is a virtual experience that you can do for $9 per person, you can choose between: dolphins, whales, and giant rays. It’s entertaining and very interesting.

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the South Carolina Aquarium in Myrtle Beach, but I must say, this was far more exceptional experience. The design of the buildings are striking; they appeared to be artfully split apart, creating a fascinating interplay of space that showcased the aquarium's vibrant marine life. Each exhibit drew me in with its vivid colors and lively creatures, making the whole visit feel like a captivating journey through an underwater wonderland. Every glance revealed something new and intriguing, truly enhancing my appreciation for the beauty of the ocean and its inhabitants.
Ray O — Google review
If you’re walking along the waterfront, you should definitely stop by this aquarium. I agree with previous reviews that the price is a bit high, but I’m surprised no one mentions that if you’re a Washington State resident and have certain benefits—such as WIC—the ticket price becomes much more affordable. I recommend checking the details on the official website. My kids had a wonderful time and left with lots of great impressions.

Really nice aquarium consisting of two separate buildings. The main building is on the pier and includes sea creatures from the Pacifc Northwest area while the other building has tropical sea life. The touch pools let you get up close and personal with sea anemones, star fish, and sea urchins. Give yourself about 3 hours to really enjoy everything there is to see and experience.

The Fremont Troll, also known as the Troll Under the Bridge, is a renowned 6.5-ton mixed media statue created by local artists in 1990. This iconic landmark is located under the Aurora Bridge and has become a must-see for visitors to Seattle. Inspired by the folktale 'Billy Goats Gruff,' this giant concrete formation invites visitors to climb its fingers, arms, and head.
Such a cool, beautiful little place to visit. You and your loved ones will be sure to enjoy this place- especially the kids. It has a trail that you walk through and info about the trees and their importance in our world. There is also a turtle there where you can sprinkle some water on it and make a wish. The flowers are so beautiful. It is very relaxing and peaceful. My family and I went early in the morning which is a perfect time to go, we had the whole area to ourselves, we really loved it. Please be respectful of the surrounding residents, the trail and garden statues- no littering or destruction of property- help keep it clean and beautiful.

So fun! Beautifully positioned under a busy city bridge, this mythical beast waits half emerges from the ground with an old VW big in his hand and hair over one eye. When you stand on the sun in front of him and perform a full rotation, his purpose is served as he helps you achieve dreams and desires using ancient ethereal wisdom that draws out psychosomatic results. We enjoyed climbing on him, riding electric scooters around his home, and exploring the mini nature trail in his honor. Bonus points when he keeps you dry and warm in a cold rainy day. Highly recommend.

This was a really cool thing to find. We were told to visit it from someone who knew the place and we weren't quite sure what we would find as traffic and driving in Seattle at times is crazy, but we are glad we went to find this little hidden treasure in the middle of the city. A fun place to visit and take photos, and make sure you read about the troll. Just to make people aware, it isn't a place that you would spend a lot of time. It's not a park or even really has parking around it. It is a cool find and photo opportunity but not someone that you would stay. We had just a short amount of time to do something before we head to head to the airport and leave, and this was perfect for something like that.

Looked awesome! I loved how they fixed & cleaned it up very nicely! Added stairs going up to the top. Plus they added the Troll Knoll Forest with the Mushroom garden and the butterfly paradise and the giant moss turtle. My grandkids enjoyed the rain water barrel with the watering can so that they can water the plants too. Thank you to whomever fixed it up and made it more pleasurable to visit. I took my son who came up from California to visit me and I felt such pride to see him and his nephew & nieces climb and play in such a beautiful place!

This lovely fellow just wants some company. He has an amazing view down there, and is kind as can be. Stop by and say hi, just be careful, he's been known to crush vw beetles in his hands.

The perfect touristy/ Instagram/ offbeat attraction. Perfect pricing too; free, you just have to get there. The public bus can get you there for around $3 bucks each way. The bus can drop you right off the bridge the troll is under. Simply walk down the hill and under the bridge he hides. If you enjoy this type of city art and you are in the freemont section it's a must do.

Free tourist attraction. For decades we've taken out of towners to the Fremont Troll. It's too quirky not to go! There are stairs now to get up on him. It's still a little dirty but you have to make a visit to the troll, even for good luck! Great stop!

No tickets needed, just drive slow and snag a picture. Such a hole in the wall for an attraction and completely random. It's definitely an odd one and fascinating. Wasn't too busy.

Coffee shop
Storyville Coffee Pike Place is a hidden gem nestled within the bustling Pike Place Market in Seattle. The stylish wood-clad interior, complete with a cozy fireplace, offers a welcoming retreat from the market's chaos. With comfortable seating and window views of the vibrant market below and the scenic Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains, it's an ideal spot to savor artisanal coffee and baked goods.
We visited Storyville Coffee at Pike Place based on reviews, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with a warm, modern vibe that made it a perfect spot to relax. The vanilla latte was rich and smooth and the cinnamon roll was delish! The service was friendly and though i appreciated the free mug for first time visitors, i was a little disappointed when.i opened the box as it seemed like a piece the factory would throw away due to it being defective. Not sure if it was just not my lucky day! Overall it was a great escape from the busy market below. I’d absolutely return next time I’m in the area.
Arch S — Google review
You wouldn’t think to wander all the way up to the top floor of the Corner Market Building in Pike Place, but that’s where Storyville is hiding. My cousin, who’s a pilot, insisted we check it out, and right away I was drawn to the vibrant wall of wooden pallets that gives the space so much character. Then I noticed their logo of a boy holding a toy airplane and then it all clicked. This place is built for dreamers and coffee lovers alike. The space itself is gorgeous, warm wood accents, plush leather seating, soft lighting, and big windows that let you look out over the Market and toward the waterfront. It feels cozy yet stylish, almost like a chic airport lounge where you can relax above the chaos below. Perfect spot to sip slowly and just take it all in. We loved the coffee here so much we literally came back four days in a row! Lol. Everything was consistently smooth, rich, and perfectly crafted. On top of that, the pastries are a must! We tried the famous frosted cinnamon roll and the brownie cookie and both were absolutely delicious. Another fun surprise: they were giving away free Storyville mugs if you sign up. I somehow ended up with three altogether… lol, no regrets! But what really makes this place stand out is the staff, super friendly, attentive, and on top of everything. They make you feel welcome right away and keep the vibe relaxed even when it’s busy. Overall, Storyville is the kind of cafe that feels both special and comforting. Definitely worth seeking out if you’re wandering through Pike Place Market.

Storyville Coffee sits above the bustle of Pike Place Market, and walking in feels like discovering a secret hideaway. Tucked on the second floor, the café opens into a warm, modern space filled with soft lighting, big windows, and a soundtrack that makes you want to linger. It’s a welcome pause from the crowds below — quiet, cozy, and designed for comfort. The Coffee The drinks are polished and consistent, with espresso that’s smooth and balanced, lattes that lean creamy without being overly sweet, and brewed coffee that holds its own against Seattle’s best. Pastries round out the menu, and while prices run higher than average, the quality and presentation feel elevated. It’s coffee crafted to be an experience, not just a quick stop. Service & Atmosphere Service is warm and attentive, with staff who treat customers more like guests than transactions. The vibe blends tourist-friendly with local comfort — plenty of lounge seating, couches, and tables, making it just as good for an unhurried chat as for a quick recharge before heading back into the Market. More Details • Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian pastries and light bites are typically available. • Dietary restrictions: Milk alternatives (oat, soy, almond) are offered for espresso drinks. • Parking: Market parking garages and nearby lots are the best bet; limited street parking fills quickly. • Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly space with roomy seating; hot chocolate and simple pastries make it easy for kids. • Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator access from Pike Place Market, spacious seating inside, and accessible restrooms. Final Take Storyville Coffee at Pike Place feels like a retreat above the Market — polished drinks, welcoming service, and an atmosphere built for slowing down. Five stars for creating one of the most relaxing spots in the middle of Seattle’s busiest landmark.

The Best Latte and Cappuccino—Worth the Price! This is hands-down the best place in the area for coffee. While I was initially surprised by the price of the coffee, I quickly realized the quality and flavor are absolutely worth the cost. This shop serves the best latte and cappuccino in the area—the espresso flavor is rich, balanced, and truly excellent. The service was just as stunning as the drinks. The servers are genuinely friendly and attentive; I especially appreciated being provided with water after my coffee was served. As many have mentioned, you must try the cinnamon roll! It makes for the perfect pairing with their coffee. Highly recommended for a premium coffee experience and top-notch service.
S K — Google review
Honestly, I didn't find the coffee to be amazing at all, even after I picked up a deal on some of their beans to drink at home. I went here specifically because the vibe looked cozy and warm, and that's exactly what I got. Is it worth a visit? Sure, but I’ve had better coffee. Their cinnamon roll was quite yummy though, and the service was fantastic; just very knowledgeable and kind
Aj — Google review
Loved the vibe here! The delicious coffee and all of the perks involved far outweigh the costs! As soon as you walk in you can feel the quiet, pleasant, casual, and cool atmosphere that you want at a coffee house. It really contrasts with the hustle and bustle of Pike Place. The staff was one of the friendliest groups of people we encountered. They also give you full glasses of water, which is always appreciated. And pro tip, if you do buy something there, you can get a key to use a private bathroom, which is rare at Pike Place! I didn't try the pastries, but definitely next time!
Rachel M — Google review
A charming coffee shop overlooking the harbor with welcoming staff. I enjoyed a cortado and a classic croissant 🥐, both great! Plus, if you register your email, you get a free mug! How wonderful.
Momo — Google review
Absolutely loved this cute little coffee shop. I’m a sucker for house made syrups which is exactly what they offered. I ordered a hot vanilla latte which was divine. They also did cute latte art! I enjoyed every sip of it. The staff was very welcoming, fast and pleasant. I would go here for coffee everyday if I could! I ordered a cinnamon roll also and it came with a cute little pour over glass with the glaze in it. I’m not a huge fan of cinnamon rolls so I didn’t enjoy it too much, but I still wanted to try it. I probably wouldn’t order the cinnamon roll again, but they offered a really good breakfast sandwich that I wish I would’ve ordered.

This sandwich shop features a wide variety of sandwiches and sides that are sure to satisfy any craving. From Philly cheese steaks to ham and swiss subs, this place will have you covered no matter what your taste may be. They also offer breakfast items in the morning, so there's no need to miss out on their deliciousness.
Walking into this deli felt like being in a different city for a few moments. A whole different air about the place that's really missing from Seattle. My trusted coworker recommended this spot so I knew the food would be good, and I was not disappointed. Ample petitions, fresh and high quality ingredients and relatively cheap for all the food you get. Order ahead during the week as it was pretty busy during lunch. A must visit!

It was a very busy day due to the club World Cup game that afternoon. The line was long and the indoor space very small with a handful of tables and some outdoor seating. The sandwiches and wings were good. Mine was very dry but tasty. Pastrami was great, wings good but the buffalo wasn’t the best. It’s in a great location. Prove for three sandwiches and three cans of soda was $54

So we ended up getting there famous Philly cheesesteak with sweet peppers and onions and it was hold on humongous and so good. And the BLT had so much bacon! Old school. Old style but it just tasted so right with the chopped up lettuce and the soft roll. Got some real coke and we were in business! The guy at the counter could not have been more helpful to three hungry tourists and for that I thank him.
Justin G — Google review
One of the best Philly's I've had. We got the beef and chicken and it was amazing. The portion sizes are large. Even the 8' sub was difficult to finish. Must try.
Hadi C — Google review
I used to live down the street from Tats and ate there all the time. Sandwiches are very good and would easily pay the prices for good food rather than subway or some grocery deli. The prices are still quite steep but thats the way it is. However, I visited the food truck recently and ordered a side of Mac salad. 2 dollars and 50 cents for 4 bites, with a small spoon, of Mac salad. I mean maybe a heads up at least. Or maybe that could be free with my 18 dollar sandwich. Pretty ridiculous. Even for the times.

We always come here for food before going to a soccer game and have tried 17 sandwiches. I haven't had a sandwich i didn't like, but my favorites have to be the grinder and any cheesesteak. This one in the picture is the cajun turkey. Super good!! Give it a try, and the fries are also amazing.

Swung by for a sandwich to take on a plane ride home and it did not disappoint. Ingredients were fresh and Tat's way was pretty tasty, though I will say that the flavor profile was quite monotone, as American food tends to be. Cheese, beef, and grilled onions equated to a warm hug on a rainy Seattle day. Would definitely come back to try another sandwich. Keep up the great work!

Best sandwiches in Seattle! Always good, huge selection of hot and cold sandwiches including the best veggie sub I’ve ever had. Serving sizes are so generous and sides are amazing. Their old bay cheese fries are a must have. My family usually gets the cheesesteak Tat’s Way and the Tatstrami.

Sushi restaurant
Sushi Kashiba is a renowned sushi and omakase restaurant located in Seattle's Pike Place Market. Founded by Shiro Kashiba, who trained under Jiro Ono, the restaurant offers high-end sushi in a chic setting with stunning water views. With its prime location overlooking the iconic market, Sushi Kashiba is celebrated for serving some of the freshest fish available.
We highly highly recommend Sushi Kashiba, not only because of their top-notch sushi but also their outstanding outstanding customer service. Sushi Kashiba in our opinion, it’s the best sushi restaurant in the U.S., even better than many in Tokyo (I’m Japanese, so I can say that!). We live on the East Coast, and whenever we visit Seattle, we always go — this time, two nights in a row. Chef Shiro Kashiba, a long-time sushi legend in the U.S., is still very hands-on. One night, he was serving sushi to six customers at the sushi bar, while younger chefs were serving two or four customers. On another night, he was cleaning the table and the floor himself!! He really leads by example. We can see why their sushi and service are so outstanding. The sushi was so good my wife forgot her glasses at the restaurant. She was “sushi high” (we don’t drink, so it wasn’t alcohol!). We realized it the next morning before getting on the airplane. she called Kashiba from NYC. The manager told her the glasses were already on the way — and they even would not to let us pay for shipping cost. That kind of service, on top of world-class sushi, deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you, Kashiba — we can’t wait to come back!
Hong F — Google review
Came alone for an omakase at Sushi Kashiba in Seattle. Omakase during dinner is available at 5pm and 7pm. The portions are huge — the first omakase ever that made me feel completely stuffed. Even without ordering extra, I was already full. 20 pieces of sushi plus a hand roll, tofu, and soup. Overall, the food was very good and matched my expectations for the price ($190 + tax + 20% service charge). Everything in the photos was great except the salmon, the texture felt a bit watery and loose, with little flavor. The course order was interesting — it started with a toro hand roll and ended without any dessert after the tamago. Service pace-wise, everyone at the sushi bar starts at the same time. There were five chefs, each serving about four to five guests, so you don’t have to wait ages between pieces. The overall rhythm makes it a good spot for solo dining — I was there about 80 minutes from start to finish. The chef mainly introduced each ingredient and asked a few polite questions but didn’t chat much. I could text friends in between and the next sushi would arrive — not awkward at all to dine solo at the counter. On the flip side, if you’re coming here for a date or to chat, it might feel a bit fast-paced. The location is super convenient, right next to Pike Place Market. The restaurant has a few ocean-view tables where you can see the market’s big red sign and a bit of Puget Sound behind it (the sushi counter faces away from the view). I didn’t take photos inside as there were other diners, but you can guess the view from photo showing the exterior. As for the total, with a $5 hot tea, it came to $258 all in. Highly recommended that for solo diners.

If you wanna experience real omakase, GO ELSEWHERE. If you want to go a nice sushi bar, GO ELSEWHERE. I honestly don’t know what kind of omakase Seattle people are used to, but this one is def a disappointment. At $160 per person (before drinks and the mandatory 20% service fee), I was expecting a refined, seasonal tasting. What we got instead felt like someone’s first day at sushi school. The rice was hard and dry — not the warm, vinegared kind that melts with the fish. The “omakase” came out five or six pieces at once (because apparently pacing and temperature don’t matter anymore). And the fish? Nothing special — mostly tuna, salmon, and a few very average cuts you could find at any mid-tier sushi bar. Several pieces were overseasoned, particularly one with large fish roe that was overly salty and poorly balanced with rice. The rice under it was so tiny it was basically decoration. Even the drink service missed the mark: I asked for light ice, got a cracked glass, pointed it out, and the replacement came back full of ice again. The environment is loud and gives off more happy hour energy than chef’s table intimacy. This felt like a restaurant caught between two identities — trying to be an elevated omakase, yet functioning like a bar with bar-quality food. Unfortunately, it delivers neither the refinement of the former nor the value of the latter. And I feel truly bad for someone who think this place is worth a five star
Ailee K — Google review
We had a wonderful omakase experience here, a truly great night! The fish was fresh and flavorful, with our favorites being the Toro, shrimp, and mackerel. The sake paired beautifully with the meal, though we would have loved to enjoy it in a traditional sake cup to make the experience feel even more authentic. Overall, highly recommended for sushi lovers

Fish was so fresh. Uni too. Each piece is well balanced. Rice was perfectly cooked. Black cod was a bit too seasoned. My daughter’s favorite was the chicken karaage. Agedashi tofu here was one of the best I’ve had ever.

Came here on a Saturday night at about 7 PM set up the cocktail bar for one and the very professional bartender took my order for some à la cart. Sushi and I ordered about 14 pieces of premium sushi and two bottles of carbonated water and definitely the “nigiri sushi” by the piece was premium and it was delicious and at the end I think the bill ended up to be about $250 including tip so if you’re looking for some sushi in the Pike market area, this is the spot, so give it a shot, but be prepared to pay the premium price…keep up the good work and thank you and Arigato

Ive never given a 1 star to any restaurant...never in my life disappointed with a high end sushi restaurant. As a born and raised asian who's been to so many sushi places around the world, this place isnt even close to being called a good sushi place. It's probably all about presentation and reputation of the chef here and nothing more on sushi. They are so basic and way over price. Sushi in Texas tastes better than this

Awesome first experience at Sushi Kashiba. Expect delicious and beautiful food - including the best cod I’ve ever eaten (their cooked black cod dish). The sushi itself was fantastic. Everything tasted fresh and meticulously seasoned and prepped. Cost can scale up quickly ($130-190pp) depending on whether you try one of their fixed dinner options. But you also have the option to add your own selections against a $25-50 hot entree. Solid value overall from my perspective, and I’ll definitely be back.

Cafe Turko is a family-owned Turkish restaurant located in Seattle, offering a unique dining experience with flavors from the Mediterranean, Middle East, Balkans, and Central Asia. The restaurant serves a variety of vegan-friendly Turkish dishes along with coffee and tea in a quirky setting adorned with colorful umbrellas hanging upside down from the ceiling.
Such a magical environment! If you’ve never tried Turkish food before, this is the perfect place to start. Everything is fresh and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Suleyman the Second dish—it was incredible, especially the Adana kebab paired with a refreshing Ayran drink. I also had the Kunefe dessert with Turkish tea, and it was the perfect sweet finish. The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, and the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend! Also, they have nice coffee sets 😍

The restaurant is colorful, warm, and spacious. The service is attentive, quick, and helpful. Our Server was so welcoming and happy to recommend her favorites from any section. All of our needs were met and then some. She really added to the lovely experience. The kitchen is incredibly efficient. The food came out at a great pace and it tasted just as delicious as it looked. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful as well. I couldn't recommend Turko Cafe enough. They have a great variety of dishes and flavors. You can bring your meat lovers, vegetarians, and vegan friends with confidence that everyone can find a dish they'll enjoy. I haven't had a chance to truly explore Turkish cuisine and wow, I've been missing out. What a great introduction to a food full of flavors. Also, their baklava is the best I've ever had. I can wait to come back to try more

We were walking by and decided to stop in for some coffee. What a delicious decision. We ended up ordering a Turkish pizza, and the coffee was above our expectations, accompanied by a yummy sweet. The decoration got us right after stepping in, and the staff was very attentive. Another highlight was the cups where our coffee was served, they were beautiful. Everything tasted so good, the experience was really nice and definitively I considered it a must when visiting the area.

Thank you so much for a delicious meal! Amelia was our server and she was awesome. I had basil hummus and falafel plate, falafel is coated beautifully so crisp on the outside and flavorful on the inside. The basil hummus was superb, I would go back to this restaurant just for this dish. So many vegan options! Super super vegan friendly ♡ thank you!

I thought I would never remember the deliciousness of Turkish food, but today I went back to the alleys of Istanbul, Fatih and Uskudar, and the service was excellent. The waitress Zalina was very cheerful and helpful. I highly recommend you go to their restaurant.

The food here was very good and authentic to middle eastern cuisine. We were greeted immediately and sat by the window. The server gave us a few recommendations, of which we took. The Ali Nazik Mania with lamb and chicken is a must. The doner kebab had very fresh bread and lettuce, and it was very refreshing. Highly recommend!

Tl;dr: I ordered Café Turko’s vegan dumplings and received Trader Joe’s non-vegan spinach tortellini. I dined at Café Turko with my family on the afternoon of Saturday, July 12. I ordered “Green Green Mantı”, a vegan dish of dumplings topped with chickpeas and tahini dressing. When my dish arrived, I needed only one bite to know I’d been served meat-filled mantı. I alerted the server of the error, who kindly comped my party the dish and promised to bring me my vegan mantı in 7-8 minutes. About 15 minutes later, my replacement dish arrived. This time I hardly needed to taste the “dumplings” to confirm that I again hadn’t been served vegan mantı. Instead, I’d been served Trader Joe’s spinach tortellini. I would know—I practically lived on TJ’s spinach tortellini my senior year of college. I also know that these tortellini contain three types of cheese and that their dressing was yogurt-based rather than tahini-based as stated on the menu. Furthermore, I know the kitchen staff and the server were all in on this sleight of hand: There’s no mistaking the heirloom-textured, deep-green dumplings of “Green Green Mantı” with the industrially smooth, white and pale green spinach tortellini from Trader Joe’s. It’s disturbing that Café Turko’s vegan dishes aren’t reliably vegan. It’s disappointing that Café Turko’s dumplings are sometimes Trader Joe’s tortellini. But most of all, it’s embarrassing that Café Turko chose dishonesty over all its other options to resolve what probably began as an honest mistake. If the server had told me the kitchen needed extra time to prepare my vegan mantı, I would’ve gladly given them the time they needed and taken advantage of the chance to try another appetizer to tide me over. If the server had told me that the kitchen simply didn’t have the ingredients to make my vegan mantı, I would’ve happily ordered and probably enjoyed another dish. Instead, Café Turko took a gamble on my not being a TJ’s shopper who knows tahini from yogurt. Amateur move.

Day 3

Off the beaten path
For day 3, if you don’t mind the extra trek, today covers more off the beaten path places like Woodland Park Zoo. Not quite as popular as Space Needle, but still highly rated among many travelers. Accounting for getting around and average time spent, today’s activities could take about 8 hours.

Zoo
Zoos & Aquariums
Nestled in Seattle, Woodland Park Zoo is a sprawling 92-acre wildlife sanctuary established in 1899. It houses over 900 animals from nearly 300 species, some of which are endangered. Visitors can embark on a captivating journey through various exhibits such as the African Savanna, Humboldt Penguins, Tropical Asia, and the seasonal Butterfly Garden. The zoo also hosts temporary exhibits like 'Dinosaur Discovery,' showcasing lifelike dinosaur replicas.
I love this zoo. It's constantly striving to build better exhibits for its animals, and more educational content for the people. It's always clean when I go, and the animals look healthy. If you want to see animals, don't go on bad weather days. There's great variety and beautiful walking paths. I love the extra exhibits they do, like the dinosaur one they had earlier this summer.
Renita O — Google review
Fantastic Day at the Zoo! The zoo was an absolute delight—clean, well-organized, and full of incredible animals. From majestic lions to playful otters, every exhibit was thoughtfully designed and educational. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the interactive areas made it fun for all ages. A perfect mix of entertainment and learning. Highly recommend for families or anyone who loves wildlife!

This was a fun Zoo. It was pretty big so be prepared to walk. We thought we seen everything but when we left we seen we missed the whole rainforest, haha! There's definitely a lot of animals to see bears, tigers, reptiles, birds, and the lost goes on. We loved seeing the bear in the water up close. My son loved the penguins and sea otters. My favorite was the chimpanzees. They have events throughout the day, there's a sign showing what and the time. So much to see it's hard to list everything. They have an area to buy food and drinks. I didn't buy either so not sure of the prices or items. I seen someone's fries and they looked good and a big pile. They have stroller, wagons, wheelchairs, and other items you can rent. You also have to pay parking. It was easy to get to and easy to buy tickets. This is definitely a fun day trip that we would do again.
J L — Google review
I visited this zoo this Tuesday. I love this zoo so much. The sanctuaries are beautiful and have room for the animals to hide and move around. Great experience but I did witness a lot of children and parents being abusive towards the animals, the children climbing the exhibits, banging on the glass, parents staring down the gorillas to get a reaction out of them, yelling at the animals, screaming at the glass, and much more. I wish there were more workers to witness this behavior, a ban from the zoo should come with this behavior. Teach your children and yourself to respect nature and animals, instead of ruining it for others.
Kylie S — Google review
We went for the first ever adult day at the zoo. And to tell you the truth it was AMAZING. no strollers hitting your.legs, no screaming kids. Just adults, enjoying the day without kids and looking at the animals. I was amazed at how nice it was. The animals are well cared for. The keepers talked to us and answered questions. I will be back for sure.
Kym M — Google review
I go to a fair amount of zoos, and this one was one of my favorites. There's a good variety of animals, very spacious and inviting. My only complaint is that it's hard to see into the exhibits sometimes due to the rolling hills. Aside from that this zoo allows outside food and drink, which is incredible. Very lax here and enjoyable, would absolutely go back!
Joe G — Google review
Of all my more recent zoo experiences, Woodland Park Zoo is top notch! Love how well cared for the animals appear. Each enclosure seems to have enough space and provides a habitat suitable to each animals needs for a realistic living environment. The grounds are huge! We easily spent over 4 hours visiting each area. I noticed many families having brown bag lunches on the grounds too. Much appreciated to be able to bring your own food/drinks! They were setting up for zoo tunes when we visited so they had the lawn area roped off as they were setting up. The Brown Bear was the highlight! He was so playful when we visited. Excellent family friendly activity and if you don’t have an annual pass, get one!

Gas Works Park, located at the north end of Lake Union in Seattle, Washington, is a unique 20-acre park that was once an oil plant. The site was originally a gasification plant in the 1960s but was shut down due to pollution. After being cleaned up and transformed, it now offers picnic facilities and stunning city views. The park features small green hills and a children's playground created from the refurbished gas-producing plant.
This is definitely one of my favorite parks in Seattle, if not my favorite. The view in this park is insane and has an amazing 360 view from the top of the hill. Perfect for both sunrises AND sunsets, no matter how many people are there. The park is so spacious and nobody really bothers each other and people are for the most part spread out which is super nice. The way that you can see the whole city is just absolutely perfect and the Canadian goose are so fun to watch as well. There’s a lot right now because of the season, only thing I didn’t like were the strange large bugs that kept on flying onto me but that wasn’t even that big of a deal. Once again, such a solid place to go to for any occasion!

Yesterday, I was looking at the lake from the other side, right on the fourth-floor lounge in the Google office in South Lake Union. Today, I was looking at the lake from Gasworks Park. It was very beautiful, even though the weather wasn't good.It was kind of cloudy today. There is a small hill where you can climb up the hill and look at the skyline of the Seattle downtown area, including the sounds like Union. You can see the Seattle Space Needle from this side of the lake. The city view is amazing. There are many people walking their dogs, and some morning joggers are jogging alongside the lake. There is a gas park structure. It looks rusted, which is classic. I took a photo of it, but it was surrounded by fences, so I couldn't get too close.. There are people sitting on the grass, taking videos and reading books. They look relaxed. And there is also a playground.

We took a ride to this park to check it out. It was very fascinating to learn of the history of the park before, during and after the gas company. I loved the history and how they preserved the old, simple, yet complex structures. Lots of green space and walking paths. Plenty of places to picnic or have celebrations. Definitely should be a site to see if visiting Seattle.

This park is a perfect blend of industrial history and natural beauty. The old gas plant structures make for captivating, nice photo backdrops, especially at sunset. The open lawns are great for picnics, flying kites, or just lounging with a view of Lake Union and the Seattle skyline. If you're looking for a walk with character or a unique stop in the city, this place is an awesome spot 👌
Sampath D — Google review
We visited on a weekday, and parking was both convenient and free. It’s a great place for the whole family. The grassy area by the water is perfect for a picnic, with views of migratory birds, passing boats, and people enjoying SUP (stand-up paddleboarding). The park is spacious and even has a playground for kids. My family and I had a wonderful afternoon here.

Former industrial site turned into public park is a great area for getting some urban exploration vibes. Unfortunately one of the main areas is completely fenced off due to a lawsuit against the city, however, there is a covered area with lots of industrial equipment you can climb on and explore. There is an uncovered park area for younger children provided. Great views of the Seattle skyline.
Alucard T — Google review
I come to this park every time I visit Seattle. I love it. Views all over, lovely place to walk, and weather permitting, fantastic picnic location.
Michaela O — Google review
An overall chill place to view the Seattle skyline over South Lake Union. The park isn't high up enough to see Mt. Rainer but you get a great view of the space needle. It's a great place for a picnic or outdoor game as their is large grass space. That being said, the grass almost completely dries out in the summer. There is also a significant amount of geese poop in the late summer. If you are visiting Seattle, I would recommend the park in the Spring or Fall. If your local, it's a great hang spot. Also, go to the bathroom before you go to gasworks! They have bathrooms but they're wildly dirty.

Green Lake Park, located around five miles north of downtown Seattle, is a popular outdoor retreat that has been cherished by locals and tourists since the early 1900s. The park offers a three-mile path around the lake that is always bustling with people walking, cycling, and rollerblading. It also features sports fields, tennis courts, baseball fields, an indoor pool, and two designated swimming areas with lifeguards during summer.
Really great park. Well maintained. Water is clean. You can swim, boat, kayak here. Or just relax on the grass. Good for juggling or running. It also has a small children pool and a jumping platform!

Went on my birthday to North Green lake Had a vodu doughnut and my son and golden retriever. It was a beautiful day sunny out and we found two chairs and a small table right next to the lake and boathouse and coffee shop. We also found parking right next to the lake A blessing from.God. it was so nice. People walking their dogs, jogging, older people young kids and babies in strollers. We stayed about 45 minutes as I had another appointment for my Birthday 🎈.next time we go we are bringing a towel and letting our dog run off the dock and jump in the water. He loves the water and retrieving. I can't wait to go back to Green lake. It's one of the most beautiful spots I've ever seen. There's also a beach on the other side of the lake my son told me.. so much grass and tress and paths for walking or running.. an enjoyable time for everyone!!

Green Lake is one of my favorite spots in Seattle. The view of the lake is beautiful, specially in a sunny day, but it has its own unique beauty in every season of the year. There is a playground, community center with a play room, a wading pool (in summer) for kids. There is a ton of activities you can do: walking, running, biking, kayaking, playing pickle ball, fishing… even just sitting and enjoying the view, seeing the geese and ducks. It’s so relaxing! Only think would make it better is having a bigger parking lot, but there are plenty streets where you can find a spot to park your car.

Great park for a 3-mile walk. Parking can be a challenge—every time I’ve visited, I’ve had to wait at least 10 minutes to find a spot. Also, there’s a lot of goose droppings along the trail. On the bright side, there are at least four restrooms conveniently located throughout the park.

Windy City Pie

Pizza restaurant
Windy City Pie is a relaxed eatery that specializes in Chicago-style deep-dish pizza and features a digestif-focused bar. The restaurant takes pride in using new ingredients and techniques while still honoring traditional pizza making methods. They offer a unique blend of traditional, pan, and stuffed pizzas found throughout Chicago. Windy City Pie grinds their own sausages, pickles their sweet hot peppers, and serves delicious pizza along with salads and homemade garlic brioche.
We got a breezy style pie (a delicious mash up of Chicago style and Detroit style), a beet salad, a couple beers for about $70. We left satisfied and had a slice of pizza leftover. Service charge and tip is built into their price. The beet salad had great flavors and textures and was well balanced. The pizza was phenomenal. Plenty of toppings, crispy and stringy cheese, good flavors. Right amount of sauce. Will definitely be back!

The tavern style pizza here was excellent! And that's from a life long Midwesterner and tavern pizza connoisseur. The drinks were also quite good. The service was incredible. They really went above and beyond to help us out while we went to the zoo nearby. The deep dish looked fantastic (just not my thing, but if you're into it at all, I would definitely try!)
Angela J — Google review
Finally made it to Windy City Pie for Sweet Pete pizza and I’m honestly kicking myself for not coming sooner. Been eyeing this place forever and now that we’ve been… yeah, it lives up to the hype. We ordered the Chicago-style deep dish (yep, the one everyone talks about), fully knowing both the raves and the complaints. Let’s start with the good stuff— The flavor? Unreal. People weren’t lying. Every bite was rich, savory, and totally worth the food coma. The service? Warm, welcoming, no eye-rolls, no fuss. Just good vibes. Also, gratuity is already baked into the price, so no awkward tipping games for mediocre service—it’s all handled, and they earn it. Now for the "negative" people keep mentioning—besides parking: Yeah, the bread is thick. Like, thicc-thick. If you're expecting that cheesy, gooey, meat avalanche type of deep dish, this one leans more toward a hearty bread base with the toppings riding on top. We knew that going in, so no complaints from us. If you want less bread and more melt, they’ve got the Breezy-style pizza (limited time thing), but we were cool with the classic. All in all, it’s a 4.5-star for me if I'm being strict. Flavor's amazing, service is top-tier, and yeah, thick bread’s a whole situation—but it’s their thing and they do it well. We can't wait to try more from them!!!

Amazing pizza! This is one of my favorite pizza places in Seattle. They do Chicago style deep dish, Detroit thin crust and even one on sourdough. I also appreciated their pizza boxes to go with instructions on how to reheat. We got the Fennel Destination, Tuscany Raider and a thin crust with bacon.
Kat L — Google review
If you want a delicious, authentic, Chicago style deep dish pizza, look no further. Having lived in the Midwest for many years myself, I can say that Windy City Pie is 1000% true to what makes a delicious deep dish pizza. The crust is buttery, crispy, but also fluffy and chewable. It has that perfect pizza satisfying snap, that melts into a delicious buttery flavor. The sauce is a fantastic balance of acidic and tomato-y, with sweet and flavorful. The cheese is gooey and delicious, without being overbearing or overwhelming. (Personal pet peeve of mine is pizza places that just drown the pizza in cheese, to make up for bad crust or sauce). We got the limited edition Whipped Ricotta pie, and the lemony zesty savory whipped ricotta was to die for. My only schtick would be the wait time, but good things comes to those who are patient. Even with empty tables, still took about 15-20 minutes for the pie to come out. Could not even imagine a packed Friday night. Their website says to order ahead, which is a brilliant and creative idea. Our server was extremely friendly, and an absolute gem. Restaurant is very quaint, with old school wood Italian vibes. Parking is rough, but it's Seattle. Park far and walk, or park further and uber. 10/10 would go again.

My favorite pizza place. Their pies are delicious! The crust is sooo yummy. I always order takeout for my birthday dinner even though it’s an hour drive to get there. My three year old loved the Toddler slice and I usually get whatever the seasonal special is. Today, it had whipped lemon ricotta. The lemon, basil, and tomato sauce were extra tasty all together. Forgot to snap a pic before digging in - the smell on the drive home was torture enough! Long live Windy City Pie!

Great deep dish pizza. Restaurant is tip free which is awesome. Full bar. They had great Halloween decor up and were playing the mummy (Brendan Fraser!) on their screen.

This place has become a bi-monthly craving for myself and my girlfriend. We occasionally get the deep dish (which is awesome) but I think the real hidden gem star of the show is the tavern style thin crust. They literally do it perfectly and cut in squares too! We regularly fight over leftovers. The space is welcoming and the staff is friendly and I love love LOVE that they are a no-tipping establishment. Keep it up. See you again soon!

Asian fusion restaurant
Joule is a Korean-fusion steakhouse located in the Fremont neighborhood, offering a unique blend of Asian-Northwest cuisine. The chic and airy space provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for foodies and cocktail enthusiasts. Their inventive menu features dishes like Kombu cured mackerel, spicy rice cake with chorizo, and prime bavette steak with truffled pine nut and artichoke.
We were visiting some friends in Seattle and they recommended eating at Joule. We had 4 couples eating and we all loved the experience. Our server took excellent care of us. She gave us great recommendations. The best recommendation was that she told us it was a good idea to order a lot of different things off of the menu and to share. This way we could all get a chance to try everything. I was so glad thinks what we did. We didn't order everything off of the menu but we were pretty close. Our favorites of the starters were the spicy rice cake, kimchi trio and the black garlic noodles. My favorite entree was the short rib closely followed by the NY strip. We also enjoyed the octopus. Our least favorite was the mackerel. It had good flavor but is a very strong fish. We recommend going with friends and trying as much as you can.

While in Seattle I was looking for Asian Fusion and for a place not by the tourist area, found this place. Cool cozy atmosphere, not very large, so make a reservation. Service was great, our waiter was very helpful and on top of it. We had their onion Chinese pancake, which was very good, followed by their scallop fried rice. The fried rice was our favorite fried rice we have ever had. We then had their version of Kalbi Korean beef which was also very good. Finished it with their grilled octopus, great flavor but was a bit chewy. Beware of the 22% service charge automatically added to the bill (only 2 in our party). This was not optional, that’s my only major complaint for this restaurant. Next time I’m back in Seattle I will visit again.

The food reminded me of the "Golden" song by demon hunters, the quality of the dishes only went up, up, up. The crispy lettuce with chili oil of the chicory mango salad stimulated our appetite, making it the perfect starting dish. We had a couple of non alcoholic cocktails, flavours were balanced and even got a leechee on it. The spicy rice cake flavors were delicious, rice cakes were slightly toasted given them a crunchy texture. The palm heart dish has more of a earthy flavor. The palm retains the heat, it was a pleasant surprise. The star of the night "that sort rib steak", the meat was cooked perfectly, with a beautiful searing and a juicy light pink color inviting to chew it. The sauce is not my cup of tea, but it didn't stop us from enjoying an unique experience. Definitely I will be back.

Went for my 6 year anniversary and it was so so wonderful. Brandy was our server and just made us feel so loved and welcomed! Super attentive and warm service. We even got a free scallion pancake and dessert. Drinks were strong and so yummy. Ordered the scallop fried rice, octopus, and short rib. Scallop fried rice was 10/10. Pro tip, get the scallion pancake and put the salmon roe ON the scallop fried rice. Will def be coming back.

We ordered the Chinese scallion pancakes, black garlic noodles, octopus (forgot to take a photo) and the short rib eye steak. Everything was delicious, well presented and timed, and the service was impeccable. Strongly recommend this spot!! Closed off our trip by coming here and it was the perfect ending to a great trip.

Jeoul shares the hallway with another restaurant, it must be common that people make mistakes going to the wrong restaurant. With a reservation, we got seated right away. Service was great, no complaints, even though 22% service charge is automatically added to the bill, no matter the size of your party. The foods overall were pretty good in terms of texture, but most were on the salty side (even the desert has some sort of salt flakes in it).

Walked in on a Monday night with a friend—no tables but full service bar seating was available. Loved the scallion pancake—crème fraiche and chili crisp made it the best first bite of the meal. The “For You I Will” cocktail was dominated by the whiskey, but our bartender brought us tastes of the celery and “alpine” bitters that are ingredients, what a fun experience to sample! Innovative throughout the menu, would recommend.

i felt like the dishes werent amazing. the mango salad was a bit bitter for some reason. Scallion pancakes was pretty meh, just crispy -- no flakes, essentially no flavor -- the platter of garnishes were pretty laughable lol 4 pieces of parsley/cilantro and some chili oil that had 0 flavor on creme fraiche. The mussels were alright -- great sauce. Octopus was salty, redeemer was yet again the sauce. It's one of those really pretty, ambient places that you dont come to actually eat 🤷🏻‍♀️

Beer garden
Fremont Brewing's Urban Beer Garden is a family-friendly microbrewery located in Seattle's Fremont neighborhood. Established in 2008, the brewery prides itself on using the finest local ingredients to craft small-batch artisan beers. The beer garden features long communal tables both indoors and outdoors, making it a perfect spot for enjoying their seasonal ales along with complimentary pretzels.
Open Air & Great Vibes! I recently celebrated with friends at Fremont Brewing's Urban Beer Garden and it’s a fantastic spot! The first thing you notice is how incredibly open and airy it feels, especially with that huge outdoor seating area. It’s genuinely a breath of fresh air and has a wonderfully upbeat vibe – perfect for any gathering. Even though I don't drink beer, I still had a great time! Their cold brew coffee on tap was absolutely delicious – smooth, rich, and a perfect option for enjoying the amazing atmosphere. Fremont Brewing's Urban Beer Garden truly excels at creating an inclusive, spacious, and lively environment for everyone. Highly recommend checking it out!

Fremont Brewery is the definition of a chill spot to grab a cold brew in Seattle. Located in Fremont/Northlake area, the brewery nails the classic "brewery vibe" — spacious and relaxing. It was my first time visiting and the space offers both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it a great choice no matter what kind of atmosphere you're after. I visited on a Tuesday, and by the time I arrived, there was plenty of seating available. But it didn’t take long before the outdoor patio started to fill up. If you want to snag a spot in the sun, plan ahead — or find an open seat at a table and make some new friends! The beer itself was good. Fremont's brews are smooth, flavorful, and hits the spot. Whether you're into hoppy IPAs or something a bit more mellow, there’s definitely something for everyone. Also, don’t forget to snag some pretzels to nibble on while you drink. The staff was the friendly and helpful. Everyone was welcoming and seemed genuinely happy to help, which made the experience that much better. Overall— this is definitely a spot I’ll be returning to, whether it's for a weekday afternoon beer grab or a weekend hangout with friends. Solid beer, a relaxed vibe, and a great crew — can’t ask for much more.

Finally made it here after years of looking forward to going once I made a trip to Seattle. And it met my lofty expectations. An expansive space inside and out with a large draft list, plenty of beer to carry out, lots of swag, and a food vendor. A bit disappointed that they didn’t have any special releases available but their staples are good enough and they had a few unique offerings like an Italian Pilsner. Patio is an actual beer garden with shared tables and lots of vegetation. Quite pleasant even on a hot day. Worth the trek and will return any time I’m in Seattle!

Liz was very professional and helpful during our visit! She made it a point to help all the customers during the rush with a smile and thankful gratitude. She’s a superstar on your staff and a role model for other employees at Fremont. Thank you, Liz, for treating us so well and making our experience so memorable. The beers were super delicious! We especially liked the Dark Star on nitro. It was especially smooth, creamy and tasty.

Ah, there's goodness a foot and it comes in the form of a tap. Fremont Brewing welcomes all to their festive beer garden, and their liquid courage in the form of hop laced excellence. The enviroment is classic beer garden with that Seattle twist, picnic benches, flora, and food trucks. Yes, you must pair your drink with some edible sustenance, not required but I suggest it. It's a casual affair, so bring a friend or two or three, find some seating, and kick back and relax, good times await. That inner child you've been seeking to discover has just been tapped. It's deliciously good.

Fast food restaurant
Red Mill Burgers is a classic fast food eatery known for its old-school burgers, fries, and shakes. But it's not just about the burgers - their Totem House location offers hand-cut wild Alaskan cod fish & chips with their famous tartar sauce, all while enjoying prime real estate across the Ballard Locks. Established in the 1930s and revived in the 1990s, this iconic Seattle burger joint has been winning awards ever since.
Sam did a great job handling my order since it was my first trip there. I LOVE the deluxe burger and the food here is much better than In-N-Out Burger.
Don L — Google review
Red Mill is undeniably a Seattle staple, but I have to admit—it’s not my **go-to** burger spot. The weekend crowds guarantee a long wait, so we killed some time with a drink next door. When our food finally arrived, the **burger was a mixed bag**. The bread? **Dry and tough**, which was a letdown. Thankfully, the cheese and bacon **did some heavy lifting**, making the overall bite more enjoyable. While the price is reasonable for what you get, I’d argue there are better burgers out there. Now, let’s talk **fries**. Perfectly crispy, beautifully cooked! Dip those fries into their signature tartar sauce and you’re all set!

Disappointed. The burger patty (pictured) was one of the thinnest I’ve eaten and yet it was raw in the middle and all the way around. I’ve had much better experiences at this location but the quality seems to have gone down significantly. It wasn’t busy at all (no line and very few ppl in the restaurant) so I’m surprised in the lack of service. The staff was polite and refunded my money but considering the potential threat of food borne illness that can occur when eating raw meat (esp ground beef) I probably won’t be back. Managers please continually educate your staff on proper food handling and cooking standards so that we, the public, don’t get sick! Nobody wants or deserves that.

I had a wonderful meal! The bacon cheeseburger is memorable, … thick cut bacon, juicy burger and large! The unique battered onion rings are fabulous, and justifiably famous. The fresh-squeezed lemonade was the perfect beverage for the meal. Highly recommended when in Seattle!

This waz the best cheeseburger I've ever had in nearly 50 years on Earth. Wow I can't say enough about this establishment!! I'd never heard of this place seen it while riding past on a bus. If you are visiting Seattle you have to stop by and try this place out 🌟

You want an Amazing Burger at the price of fast food? Red Mill Burgers! Everything is hand made and Made to order just like you would do at home but better... Ordered the Double Bacon Deluxe with Cheese.. Eat half... And you have enough for another meal... Onion Rings are hand dipped....and perfect.

Red Mill Burgers is always a dependable go-to spot when you’re craving a classic, perfectly made burger. This place has earned its reputation for good reason — the burgers are consistently excellent, made with juicy, flavorful patties that taste fresh off the grill. Every bite has that perfect balance of smoky, savory beef and fresh toppings. The lettuce and tomatoes are always crisp, the cheese is perfectly melted, and the signature sauce ties everything together with just the right amount of tang. The fries deserve their own shout-out — they’re some of the best around. Golden, crispy, and never greasy, they’re the ideal sidekick to any burger on the menu. You can tell they care about quality here; everything tastes freshly prepared, never rushed. Service is another strong point. Even during a busy lunch rush, the guy at the register greeted everyone with a smile, took orders efficiently, and kept the line moving with calm professionalism. It’s the kind of friendly, hometown service that makes you want to come back again and again. Whether you’re grabbing lunch with friends, picking up a quick dinner, or just treating yourself to some comfort food, Red Mill Burgers never disappoints. Great food, great people, and a Seattle favorite that continues to live up to the hype — every single time.

Best burger in Seattle hands down. Always consistent. If you order a side of bacon they give you a generous amount of perfectly crispy bacon. Their onion rings are also THE BEST. I’m not an onion ring girl usually but would cross rivers for their onion rings and ranch. I usually online order takeout with them as it’s kinda small and gets busy and crowded inside, but it’s nice they are right next door to the brewery and share the patio!

The Starbucks Reserve Roastery, located at 1124 Pike St in Seattle, offers a unique coffee experience unlike any regular Starbucks. It's often described as the 'Starbucks Disneyland' with its cold brew bar serving coffee-based cocktails and a pour-over bar where you can customize your single cup of coffee. The roastery also features plenty of Starbucks-themed souvenirs for enthusiasts to take home.
I visited the Starbucks Reserve and was genuinely impressed by the entire experience. The setup is quite something — they have some amazing brewing tools, and you can actually watch the coffee being made right in front of you. One of the highlights was seeing a staff member fill a bag of freshly ground coffee right on the spot — very cool and personal touch. The coffee itself had some truly unique flavors. We tried the espresso martini and a sweet potato mix with whiskey — both were surprisingly delicious and unlike anything I’ve tasted before. A great blend of creativity and craftsmanship! Prices were reasonable considering the quality and overall experience. Definitely not cheap, but not overpriced either — it felt worth it. The only letdown for me was the dessert. The tiramisu was okay, but far from the classic Italian style I’m used to. Not terrible, but definitely not the highlight. Aside from that, the atmosphere, service, and overall vibe were fantastic. If you’re into coffee and want to try something more elevated and experimental, this place is definitely worth a visit

This isn't just a coffee shop—it's a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Seattle. The Starbucks Reserve Roastery offers a one-of-a-kind experience that goes far beyond a regular cup of coffee. You can immerse yourself in the entire coffee-making process, from watching beans being roasted in large machines to exploring a modern, state-of-the-art coffee library. The shop features a wide variety of coffee beans sourced globally, as well as locally brewed options. They also have an extensive selection of Starbucks merchandise and packaged coffee beans available for purchase. The whole space has an incredible vibe, perfect for enjoying a coffee with friends and family while soaking in the history and legacy of coffee culture.

Four out of six Starbucks Reserves visited! This one is very nice, large coffee and food menu. I was able to try the delicious whisky aged cold brew again and it is my favorite coffee drink ever. The croissant sandwich I had was tasty as well. Lots of seating available inside. The big gold roastery equipment inside is fun to look at. If you are in Seattle and enjoy coffee, this place is a must visit.

I really enjoyed visiting the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Seattle. It's truly a spectacular place for coffee lovers and design enthusiasts alike. The space is large and beautifully designed, offering much more than your typical coffee shop. Inside, you'll find a retail area with exclusive souvenirs, a cozy library corner, a cocktail bar, a coffee bar, plenty of seating, and even a food bar with a variety of sandwiches, pastries, and more. The atmosphere is vibrant but still feels welcoming and refined. One of the highlights was trying some of the coffee-based cocktails at the Arriviamo Bar. We sampled the Ube Espresso Martini, the Whiskey Barrel-Aged Cold Brew, and the Starbucks Reserve Orange Spice Espresso Martini—each one unique and delicious, with a perfect balance of coffee flavor and creativity. They also offer a variety of interactive experiences like the Coffee Roasting and Tasting Experience and the Coffee Lab, which are great opportunities to learn more about the craft and innovation behind their Reserve offerings. Overall, it was an immersive and memorable experience—highly recommended for anyone visiting Seattle!

Getting to spend our first - and only - rainy Seattle morning at the most breathtaking coffee shop was a dream-come-true. Firstly, what an absolutely beautiful venue - it was the perfect locale for selling aesthetic merchandise, providing exquisite treats/coffee, and showcasing the roastery-in-action. The person in charge of roasting the coffee beans was also so kind when we asked him questions about the process, and all the employees in the store seemed like they truly enjoyed their jobs there. The coffee and baked goods were absolutely spectacular. Starbucks really is one of the best out there!

This place is absolutely crazy ridiculous. If you think you’re a Starbucks fan come here and it will blow your mind. If you don’t like Starbucks, come here and you will all of a sudden become a Starbucks fan, cause this is no regular Starbucks. They have a bar two levels of fantastic coffee knowledge And expertise. It is amazing. Definitely worth checking out. Even if the word Starbucks turns you off, pretend it’s not there and come check this place out anyway. You won’t regret it.

This was an unforgettable experience. Everyone was very polite and helpful, the selection was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. Visiting the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Seattle was a coffee lover’s dream. The space itself is beautifully designed—warm, spacious, and filled with the aroma of freshly roasted beans. I loved watching the roasting process in action and exploring the unique brews and specialty drinks that you can’t find at a regular Starbucks. We settled for vanilla lattes, raspberry cornetto, lavender blueberry donut (very sweet), and Cornetto Con Prosciutto Cotto E Fontina! It did take 30+ minutes to get to the register and there was only one person working the register! Beats me that at such a busy place, why can’t you hire more staff to keep the lines moving? Regardless of it all, there were non-stop influx of patrons! Overall, enjoyed our visit to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery 😋

Shopping
Pacific Place is a prominent five-story shopping center located in downtown Seattle, occupying an entire city block at the intersections of two major hubs. Recently renovated, it boasts a grand new entrance facing South Lake Union and another enhanced entrance facing downtown. This multimillion-dollar redevelopment has positioned Pacific Place as a must-visit destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment. The plaza features upscale and midscale stores such as Tiffany & Co.
There’s something very likable about Pacific Place for me in a liminal spaces kind of way. Would love to see more stores come in but also can understand why it’s a hard sell in these times to convince corporate retail to take a chance on downtown seattle. Go get some DTF and watch a movie, it’s great to appreciate what we have before it all goes away for over priced luxury apartments. Ideal tenants - a barcade / brewery, giant subpop flagship record store or easy street, pizza place, Apple Store, Orange Julius, mopop store, seattle neon museum, the sky is the limit here. Idk hell, throw raves at night 🙌🏼

This mall has virtually nothing in it at all except for a thai restaurant, johnny rockets, a really good chowder and fish place & a movie theater. And then a few little random odd shops.. its sad because I remember this was downtown Seattle's upscale mall! They used to have all the nice stores like victoria's secret, lulu lemon, tiffany's, barneys & more! But due to Covid, the opioid epidemic and high crime rate in that area, especially for retail theft all the good stores shut down & left. I heard recently that the mall had changed owners. I was in it today And noticed that they were doing some renovations. I hope they make this place what it once was because downtown seattle has lost all its vibrant retail shopping that it once had. I gave it 2/5 because it's still a really beautiful mall , even with all the empty storefronts. But for shopping or dining id give it 1/5. But the Thai place & fish n shower spot is really good.. the fish place is severely overpriced on some items and then others are about about the norm for the area. Lobster roll $65...I dont think so..lol

Malls are a dying industry and it shows even here. At 7pm on a Saturday, nearly every single store was closed and even then, half the locations didn't even have a store in them. Top notch food court, though, which was a bit odd.
Derek J — Google review
You can easily tell that this used to be a busy mall and it was beautiful. These days, there are not many shops, mostly just restaurants and a movie theater that is still attracting a little bit of life. Not too sure how long this mall will last, but it is bittersweet.

⭐️⭐️⭐️¾ (3.8 / 5) Pacific Place Seattle — Quiet Elegance with Cultural Gems 🖤✨ I visited Pacific Place (600 Pine St, Seattle) recently, and it’s a mall that still carries pieces of its old charm while trying to find new life. The architecture is sleek, but many stretches feel calm and underpopulated. It’s not your typical “bustling mall,” but rather a quiet downtown retreat that’s slowly rebuilding its identity. There are limited photo moments — the interior feels flat in many stretches, though they do have a few selfie corners like a lighted “LOVE” sign that adds a little sparkle for visitors who love capturing memories. One of the brightest spots here is Debonair Décor, a Black-owned boutique on Level 4 that truly elevates the space. 🖤 Their collection fuses athletic edge, elegance, and purpose — everything from casual streetwear to refined statement pieces. The owner, bringing heart and creativity to Seattle fashion, making it a must-visit for locals and travelers who want to support BIPOC-owned brands with substance and style. You’ll also find Din Tai Fung, the popular dumpling restaurant that brings global flavor to the heart of downtown — their xiao long bao are delicate and perfectly made. ✨ Highlights: • Support Black-owned fashion at Debonair Décor (Level 4) • Grab world-class dumplings at Din Tai Fung • Convenient downtown access (right by the Nordstrom skybridge) • Bus routes like 10, 12, 49, 550, and 132 stop within a few minutes’ walk ⚠️ What could improve: • Some empty storefronts make the mall feel quiet • Limited “wow” design moments — aside from a few selfie corners, it’s more peaceful than photogenic • Needs stronger anchors to bring the energy back Overall, Pacific Place is a blend of elegance and emptiness — still in transition, but worth exploring if you love discovering local gems and supporting BIPOC creators. 🌆 #PacificPlaceSeattle #DebonairDecor #BlackOwnedSeattle #SupportLocal #BIPOCBusiness #SeattleShopping #DowntownSeattle #VisitSeattle #SeattleStyle #ShopSmall #SeattleVibes

Me and a friend went to this mall to charge our phones and right before we even plugged our devices, this security guard comes up to us and tells us that we have to leave the place at the spot. WITHOUT NO REASON. Kept asking why and he just kept saying "cuz yall have to" and stuff like "I just got told to tell yall to go" I asked him If we were trespassed or anything and he said "no."??? So all these others strangers can chill, charge their stuff, be on their electronics etc and they didn't say nothing to them but me and my homie walk in and not even 2 minutes later get ESCORTED out for NO REASON??? He literally kept getting Hella close, even pushed the elevator button and told us we had to exit through the parking garage entrace/exit which we did not enter through and did not want to leave from as it was a whole other street than the one we came from. Of course we didn't listen and went back on the escalator and went out the front exits instead. Asked him who was behind all this, told me "I'll tell you when you're out the door" Maria Sanchez? Or something like that. The whole thing was very non-welcoming for a public mall. Never coming back here. Don't recommend it to anyone not just cause of that reason but also because of how empty it is, barely any stores, maybe one thing that actually might be a reason to go would probably be the movie theater on the 4th floor. But id still rather go anywhere else to watch a movie. Rudest encounter ever- and again, in a PUBLIC "MALL".

Indian consulate Mr.Gupta and Mayor of Seattle city presided over the function. Different states of India showcased their respective cultural events. Different states also arranged stalls containing their art and craft. It was first time such function was organised in Seattle. Zeal and enthusiasm of Indian diaspora was worth seeing in away country.

Westlake Center is a compact shopping hub located in the heart of downtown Seattle. It’s conveniently positioned near major attractions like Pike Place Market and serves as a transit connection point, so it’s easy to stop by if you’re exploring the area. While it’s not a huge mall, it offers a mix of stores, from well-known brands to smaller boutiques. You’ll also find a decent food court upstairs with some local options. However, the variety of shops is somewhat limited, especially if you’re looking for high-end or specialty stores. One of the key features of Westlake Center is its light rail station and easy access to the Seattle Monorail, making it a central spot for commuting or sightseeing. That said, the mall could use some updates to its interior and retail offerings, as it feels a bit dated compared to other shopping destinations in Seattle.

The Westlake Center is a mall. There are some shops that are appealing, but the center is small by comparison to other retail locations. Outside the building there is a large open courtyard with a fountain that attracts lunch crowds. You can find food nearby from some of Seattle's localy owned restaurants or pick up something from a street vendor. Close to the Westlake Center is Nordstrom's and Nordstrom Rack. A block away is the monorail station that takes passengers to the Seattle Center.

Took the 1 line from SEATAC to Westlake Center for a cruise that went round trip from pier 66. There are pay stations at the terminals. You can download the Orca app but it wasn't working for me to add funds to my physical Orca card that I'd ordered ahead of time. Iwas able to load those funds to my card at the kiosk. Cards can be ordered through the orca app and mailed to you for $3 each. Turn around is about 3 weeks. This card is used to scan at the kiosk at the entry to the rail boarding area and at the elevator at the airport. For the most part it was seamless. Navigating the Westlake Center was very difficult. More signage is needed to figure out what street is where since navigation wasn't working properly in my phone. Being underground signal is unreliable. We ended up out on Pine between 3rd & 4th. About 6 homeless were right outside the elevator hanging out and messing around laughing and carrying on like they were drunk. They were surprisingly pleasant though, even gave us directions when one of them recognized when we came out of the underground that we were completely lost. Ride home was unpleasant smelling due to the homeless man that got on when we did. Urine running down his trash bag, wiping his nose with clorox wipes, pants below his bottom with his bare cheeks showing, completely messed up on something that made him zombie like and slow. The smell filled the entire train car, one end to the other. Feces, body odor and sewer were the combination and it was so strong it was making people nearest to him cough and cover their noses with their shirts. We joked and said perhaps that is the reason so many people in Seattle still wear a mask! I wished i had one at that moment. He was on the train for about 30 min with us. Once he got off, the smell thankfully left with him. He spoke to no one. Didn't cause any trouble at all, thankfully. The rail experience overall was great. There are areas for luggage in the train car, it is shared space with bicycles. The doors to the train open quickly with little time to get in and get your stuff settled. That part surprised me. The time it takes to let people off leaves little time for those getting on with little kids or luggage. You gotta be fast and decisive to use the rail.

Argosy Cruises, located on the Seattle waterfront, is the largest water sightseeing tour operator in the city. They offer a variety of excursions that showcase different parts of Seattle's waters, including the harbor, Lake Union, Lake Washington, and Puget Sound. The narrated Harbor Cruise departs from Pier 59 and takes visitors on a one-hour journey through Elliott Bay with varying departure times throughout the day.
Took a short cruise in Seattle and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the trip. The views were absolutely stunning—from the city skyline to the surrounding mountains and water, everything was picture-perfect. It offered a unique perspective of Seattle that you just can’t get from land. The service on board was excellent—staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and taken care of. The cruise was well-organized and ran smoothly from start to finish. Whether you're a tourist or a local looking for a quick escape, this short cruise is definitely worth it. It’s a relaxing and memorable way to enjoy the beauty of Seattle. Highly recommended.

I have been on many harbor cruises across the US. The Argosy Seattle Waterfront cruise was the best. The boat was comfortable and could accommodate a large number of visitors, all with good views. The narration content was rich, informative, and expertly delivered. The bar and food offerings were ample. The vibe of the ship was professional yet casual and welcoming. The views were beautiful. In short, Argosy provides a most rewarding experience that we thoroughly enjoyed.

I honestly didn’t even want to take the cruise because I get seasick, and our plan was to use the CityPASS for the science center—but it turned out to be closed while we’re here. So we decided to take a chance on the cruise, and I’m so glad we did. It was absolutely amazing—super informational in a fun, engaging way—and we even got lucky enough to see one of my favorite animals, the sea lion! I did end up getting seasick, but it was totally worth it. The staff was fantastic, and even the bathrooms were spotless, which I really appreciated

Argosy Cruises’ harbor guided tour from the Seattle waterfront was an exceptional experience. The staff provided excellent service, assisting my mom with pre-boarding and making her feel comfortable as a disabled guest. The facilities included an elevator and clean, comfortable restrooms, which made the whole trip very accessible. There were great deals on drinks; the margarita and the signature blue cocktail were delicious and worth trying. The tour guide was incredibly descriptive and kept everyone engaged with fascinating insights about the city and harbor. The boat was spotless, spacious, and offered fantastic views of Seattle’s skyline and waterfront. The entire process was organized efficiently—no wasted time—and the cruise was truly worth every penny. Highly recommended for visitors looking for scenery, comfort, and outstanding service. Parking: Platinum Waterfront Parking is a scam. Crazy expensive. Use near by garage a block away for 1/2 the cost. Street parking ($7/hr) is even cheaper. Max you need is 2 hours. Else, use way.com to find nearby cheap parking. Don’t waste your money on Platinum parking.

It was my first time on a cruise, and it was such a wonderful experience. The tour lasted about an hour and was guided, which made it even more interesting. The narrator, Emma, was very knowledgeable and delivered an impressive presentation despite the wicked wind. It was relaxing to see the city from the water and learn about Seattle’s history, architecture, and waterfront landmarks. The views were beautiful, and the staff were friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend trying this cruise when you’re in Seattle to learn more about the city and see it from a different perspective. I also recommend buying a CityPASS so it’s not as expensive, plus you get to visit four more destinations. The Argosy Cruise is located at Pier 54, which is conveniently close to the Seattle Aquarium.

Was a little skeptical for some reason but this cruise was fantastic! The ship was beautiful and clean. The tour guide was spot on and very knowledgeable. Would recommend this to anyone that wants too see the beautiful city with a great waterfront. Make this a stop on your trip to this city.

We did a morning Elliot bay tour and it was probably the most fun I've had in Seattle. The crew was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the view of the city from the water was breathtaking. I highly recommend doing the tours- they are really fun.

This tour was amazing! I strategically picked 7pm for the perfect photos and was not disappointed. I went on the normal tour. The narrator was funny and informative! The boat was smooth and easy to be on. The hardest part for me was getting to the boat. Part of the dock was floating, I struggle with stuff moving under my feet. The dock was also old, and there were large (1/2in) gaps between boards. That was a very stressful 2m walk! But! They load up anyone with handicaps first with special assistance. They were kind and took great precautions with those people. I hope those people felt as safe and taken care of as it looked as a bystander. I got there early and got in line 20m before before the tour so I could get an ideal seat. I wanted amazing pictures. It was lawn chairs on the top deck but they were pretty big and comfortable. The indoor deck had a bar, carpet, and looked cozy. The guy said someone would come around and take drink/snack orders (they allow water but no other drinks on board), so we didn't have to lose our seat. I never saw/noticed that person. The tour is kid friendly, but honestly, I didn't see any kids actually enjoying the tour.

The Pacific Science Center in Seattle offers a diverse range of attractions for visitors of all ages. From rotating science exhibits and laser light shows to a tropical butterfly house and IMAX movie theaters, there's something for everyone. The center is currently undergoing renewal but is still hosting engaging exhibits, including an interactive hockey exhibition coinciding with the inaugural season of the Seattle Kraken.
Our family was traveling through Seattle and we love going to science centers. We spent the entire day from 10-5 exploring everything they have. Our kids really enjoyed the maker space area and butterfly exhibit. We also chose to see a couple of the laser shows that were free with our tickets. They were super cool. They have so many wonderful ways to spend a day together.

This place is great for kids and adults too! I learned so much about space and the brain. I loved the toddler preschool age planetarium show for my 16 month old even if it's best for 2-5. It was a very slow day with only two babies and their moms today. Usually it's chaos with a little dancing part, the guide said, but today it was quiet and relaxing! The babes were loving sitting back on mom and watching the show. I loved the interactive exhibits. Baby's favorites were the bubble station, the gears, the Bernoulli effect balls, and the twist button where you see what color a star turns the hotter it gets. My favorites were the butterfly house (by far!!) and the show in the planetarium.
Nicole C — Google review
Really cool experience so much activities for everyone to enjoy! Although many areas are targeted towards kids, I did wish there were more adult centered events! I am unsure if they sell food inside but that also would’ve been nice to have, maybe there is a reason they don’t have a cafe or sell food. Parking is also something you have to consider when visiting, but it’s worth it and it’s situated in a perfect area(space needle, chihuly garden museum, climate pledge arena, Seattle center armory food & event hall, etc) where you can visit many places.

Great place to take the kids. Price was half off and had a blast. Recommend the laser show if you have time. Pretty cool attractions all over. Miss the dinosaurs but sounds like something cool in the works. Definitely visit the spider exhibit.
Brandon H — Google review
We went to this museum with four kids ages 1-7 and we all loved it. The exhibits were so interesting and interactive and there was something for everyone. One of the best museums I’ve been to with my kids. The laser show was cool but too long. We were a bit too late for the other shows. I think you can get tickets as part of the Seattle city pass so it would be cheaper but we bought at the door. No line. Smooth.
Cory M — Google review
There was so much to see and do here! Our group had a great time seeing things from the butterfly house to the laser show. There was a little bit of everything and my whole family was able to enjoy a beautiful facility.
Erin S — Google review
Kids had fun. We do all wish they would change it up a little every now and then. We have a year membership but with everything always the exact same each time it gets a little less exciting and fun. The laser shows are always awesome. This time we saw a sci fi show which wasn't as fast paced and memorizing as the shows that dance along to songs. But it was still neat. Kids also always enjoy the butterfly room even if it is so warm inside.
Lyndsey B — Google review
This was one of the options for the Seattle CityPass, and we decided to go check it out! It was a really fun experience, and the campus is pretty large. They have several buildings with different things in them. We came here around 3:30 pm- we wanted to come earlier but something came up. We ended up missing a lot of the cool programs like the planetarium and the laser dome. Many of the exhibits were interactive and very interesting. I think the coolest exhibit was the tropical butterfly house. They have an area to put your belongings in before stepping inside. They are very careful about making sure the butterflies are safe! It was so cool to see them up close. They also had an area of the ones that are emerging out of their cocoons. When we went, they did not have a robust gift shop, but a little stand with some merchandise. The people working the information desk were extremely friendly and helpful. This experience was so cool! I can imagine that this is especially cool for kids. I went with my partner, and we are both 24 years old. We had a blast, so I think anyone at any age would have a great time here.

Chinese restaurant
Xi'an Noodles is a popular Chinese restaurant with multiple locations in Seattle, including Downtown's Westlake Center and the University District. The owner, Lily Wu, is known for her tender hand-ripped noodles and flavorful dishes that have garnered a strong following. The signature dish features silky smooth noodles with rippled edges that perfectly carry the hot oil sauce. In addition to the star attraction of hand-ripped noodles, the menu also offers starters like spicy cumin lamb chops and lamb salad.
It’s everything you want. Fat noodle. Handmade. Perfect chili oil. Hot oil bianbiang: 11/10
Justin V — Google review
Got the lamb noodles with soup, amount of lamb was pretty good for the price point in downtown. I do think University District is slightly better in terms of taste. Many people here are relating this outlet to NYC Xian foods but both aren’t related. For Seattle its a good, clean atmosphere.
Indu — Google review
My husband and I have been searching for authentic Chinese food and who would’ve thought we would find it in a mall! The noodles were thick and soaked up the sauce well, the vegetables side dishes were flavorful and exactly like the ones we had in Beijing. We will be back whenever we’re in the Seattle area.
Amanda C — Google review
My first time in is food court inside the Westlake mall. Order done using the kiosk. The beef and noodles (no soup) were thick and spicy. Not a lot of beef. Despite the fact it was no soup dish, the food was still wet. Service was a bit slow. Sitting area was clean. Overall it was tasty and good for lunch.
Anna — Google review
Omg the food here is soooo good!! Definitely try the lamb or beef noodles with "no-soup" (it's not dry despite the name, it's very juicy and flavorful! Stir it and cover everything in the juice at the bottom!) Noodles are excellent and so are the veggies, sauce, and meat! It's affordable especially for the good portion size, you don't see that anymore! Employees were also super nice! There's a bunch of seating and it's peaceful to eat there. Located on the second floor of the mall. 100% will be back!
M — Google review
Little gem inside the mall. Went in today to try for the first time and was superbly impressed. It's also woman-owned so I'm extra happy it was good because I will be coming back to support! Biang noodles are chewy and wide and dumpling feel very much like a mom and pop shop's. The noodle soup broth was light and delicious. The medium spicy level on the biang noodles was relatively mild for someone who likes spice but was really good. All orders are done on the self order kiosk and it's really easy to track your order on screen or just wait for text saying it's ready. Everything was pretty affordable too which is an extra plus. It's in a good court area upstairs so plenty of seating around. Excellent place all around, so happy to have found it!

Rode the Link into Westlake Center and ate lunch here before walking downtown Seattle. While the portions were on the light side, the food was delicious and we ordered enough to fuel us for the day. I would definitely eat here again.

Mall food court restaurant that's not bad. Got the Beef Dry Noodles with Vegetables, and tasted fine. You order through a touchscreen display, so pretty easy to customize your order.

New American restaurant
Asian fusion restaurant
Stateside is a trendy and relaxed restaurant located in Seattle, Washington. The establishment offers a unique fusion of French and Vietnamese cuisine in a historic setting. Chef Eric Johnson, drawing from his experience at renowned restaurants and travels to Southeast Asia, presents innovative dishes such as Vietnamese iced coffee creamsicles and master stock crispy chicken that showcase the intersection of Chinese and Vietnamese flavors. The restaurant's modern interior design adds an extra touch to the dining experience, resembling a chic brunch spot in Capitol Hill.
We came in for happy hour (which is only applicable if you sit at the bar - weird) and had a really good experience with the drinks and food too! Ordered the duck rolls, mushroom rolls and the prawns - everything was absolutely delicious and definitely recommend them! They pack a lot of flavor into these rolls - portions are quite small though, so if you’re hungry be prepared to ordered multiples per person. The drinks (cosmo) were quite nice too.
Pooja C — Google review
Google Maps says this is an American restaurant. That is not correct. You can call it fusion leaning on Asian but is not what most would think of as American cuisine. The service was friendly. And the menu was well curated. Overall some dishes were great and some were a miss. The rockfish vermicelli was overpowering different and very salty. Everyone at the table that had it drank a lot to water. The beets were excellent.

Came for Happy Hour alone and decided to order each item from the bar menu and had myself a tasting menu. It was plenty of food... I really should have stopped at 3 or 4 HH portions. I highly recommend the garlic prawns, the chili cumin pork ribs, the duck spring rolls, and the tomato salad (with the salted egg). The bartender also poured me two exquisite cocktails... a sidecar and then a paloma. Yum!

My wife and I had the most wonderful experience at Stateside last night. The restaurant is charming, the staff was welcoming and the food was delicious. We were warmly greeted the moment we walked in the door and we received excellent service throughout the evening. The staff worked harmoniously together to provide exceptional service. This restaurant has a really nice vibe, which looks to be by design. The food was creative and delicious. Every dish we ordered had multiple layers of flavors that worked well together. We were contemplating a fourth dish when our waiter offered to serve us a half portion, which allowed us to get in one more taste. What a delight this was. We are looking forward to going back and trying other dishes.

Wow! I was very impressed with Stateside. We live in the neighborhood and were saving this place for a special occasion. It did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I came to celebrate his birthday. We ordered 5 dishes: the duck rolls, short ribs, prawns, crab dumplings, and the rockfish as our main. I would highly recommend the duck rolls, prawns, and rockfish- we didn’t love the crab dumplings or the short ribs. They were good, but not our favorites. Our waiter Garrett was excellent! He made us feel so comfortable and asked for feedback on the dishes we didn’t love. We really liked how intimate but spaced out the tables were inside. It felt cozy, but didn’t feel like tables were on top of each other or crowded even with almost a full restaurant. To end, we had the vanilla duck egg custard. If there’s anything you’re gonna get, get that! What a dessert! I’d recommend this place to anyone celebrating a special occasion or event! We will definitely be back! Thanks Stateside and Garrett!

Absolutely incredible food. One of the best spots I've dined at in some time. The Ahi crudo with spicy celery seed mustard was phenomenal, as was the sticky rice dumplings in a brown butter mushroom broth, might have been my favorite. The crispy chicken was great to share with the table. And my second favorite dish had to be the curry pumpkin. The cocktails were all perfectly balanced, the sandcastle old fashioned was especially delicious. And dont pass on dessert. While the chocolate torte was good, i think the duck egg custard with pineapple was a star dish.
Devin G — Google review
We had never heard of this place, and it was booked because of an "Open Table" suggestion. I'm SO GLAD that it was suggested because YES, we loved it! Stateside is an absolute GEM. Delicious cocktails, outstanding smaller plates- spicy shrimp being one of the best prawn dishes that I have ever had. Incredible. They were crunchy on the outside and cooked to perfection on the inside. You MUST order this dish! The fresh duck spring rolls were just as fantastic! We then had the Goat Curry as a main and were so glad that we did. It was phenomenal! Consistency of a pulled pork dish, but so much more flavorful and delicious! I can't wait for another excuse to visit. Make sure you have a reservation as the place filled up VERY fast after opening at 5p. By 5:30, the place was full of groups and couples about to experience something wonderful! Amazing place, and it's definitely a must visit when in Seattle.
Eric S — Google review
A family member who lives in the area took us here to try the viet-fusion cuisine and I have to be honest, I'm not a fan of their take on my vietnamese food. The biggest negative part for me is the price to quality to quality of food. Too much for the small amount, adding to the fact that the food did not fit my traditional tounge. I've been to many fusion places and this place just tried too hard and went off the grid. Atmosphere and service were great, but I won't be back for the food.

Coffee shop
Cafe
Anchorhead Coffee offers a unique and bold experience with its matte black, Berlin basement nightclub-inspired locations. The emphasis on full-bodied natural process coffee sets it apart from other specialty coffee shops in Seattle. In addition to their distinct roasts, they also offer unique pastries like the seasonal pistachio matcha croissant. Despite the onyx coffee cave aesthetic, Anchorhead maintains a welcoming atmosphere that makes it easy to cozy into.
I’ve officially dropped anchor at Anchorhead Coffee — and I’m never setting sail again. This was the coffee shop around the corner from our hotel and I couldn't have been more lucky! Their espresso is the real captain here: bold, smooth, and steady enough to keep any coffee lover afloat. The vanilla latte? A total dreamboat. Make it a quad shot vanilla latte and you will be in total heaven.

Got a yummy matcha from here today, great green colour and earthy tasting! I knew I was in the right spot because of all the fun coloured hair in the building. We waited a little bit to order but once we ordered the drinks came out quickly. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area

First time here. The cashier was very sweet and helpful. She recommended iced tangerine caramel latte and the iced blackberry caramel latte. Both very delicious. The shop was quaint but a bit small. We sat outside which was perfect because it was beautiful weather.

Delicious coffee- very popular spot! I first tried to go at 9am and it was packed! I went back at 11:30 and there was no wait I love the decor here- the colors and theme is so great! My latte was pretty solid - rich with just a touch of citrus on the end of the sip. The service was excellent! Certainly a good experience and I would certainly return - they have a good number of refrigerated items & coffee to brew yourself which you can purchase as well! There’s a moderate amount of seating inside & a number of places outdoors if the weather is favorable.

Yummy coffee and great staff. I got an iced blueberry latte with oat milk, which was delicious. I also got a plant based sausage egg sandwich, which I was excited and surprised to see! The vegan breakfast sandwich was really good. I would definitely get it again.

My wife was really excited about coming here. Came on a Sunday morning around 930. Line was wrapped around the inside. I think there was some type of convention so it was busy. The line moved very fast though. The workers were so nice and seemed happy even tough it was crazy. We both got a hot coffee ; I got a matcha latte and added vanilla syrup which was good. We also got a pastry and a sandwich and they heat it up for you. Very good. There was seating inside and some outside. There is a restroom as well.

Greek restaurant
Lola, located in downtown Seattle, is a vibrant restaurant by Tom Douglas that offers modern Greek-influenced flavors using local ingredients. It's a great spot for lunch, and if you have time, you can explore the nearby Pike Place Market and Seattle Waterfront. The menu features delicious starters like pita bread with various spreads, meze options including grilled octopus and dolmades with rice, as well as a variety of kabobs.
Amazing. Amazing. Amazing. My friends and I were speechless—literally silent—because we were too busy savoring every single bite. Each dish was a perfect balance of flavors, and our amazing server made the experience even better. She suggested we go family-style so we could try everything, and it was hands-down the best advice! We had the smoky eggplant, Greek salad, fried squid, pork kebabs, slow-roasted lamb, grilled summer squash, and for dessert, their perfectly moist and very delicious olive oil cake. Every single thing was a hit—NOTHING disappointed. I highly recommend ordering all of them for dinner!!

The food was incredible and the service excellent. Every dish we ordered was delicious and we polished off everything. We visited for lunch and ordered the following: Sweet Pepper Shakshuka, Greek Scramble, Octopus Hash, Como French Toast, Mushroom Kebab, and Chicken Kebab. We had a reservation for four and were seated immediately
Maria C — Google review
We went for breakfast on Sunday morning and it was packed, so we had to wait about 20 minutes. The good thing is they have a lounge where you can comfortably wait. For this reason, I think it’s definitely a good idea to make a reservation. The staff was super kind and attentive — they brought us water while we looked over the menu, and when we were ready we ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Octo hash, which we shared. Both dishes were delicious and generous in portion; honestly, one of the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had! The real standout, though, were the potatoes — crispy and super tasty. The coffee they served was standard American drip coffee, which is pretty typical(but expensive tho)and maybe the only thing that could be improved was the drink menu. It would be nice to have a wider breakfast drinks selection, maybe with more coffee options or fresh juices. All in all, it’s a fantastic place to enjoy a great meal. It does get busy and therefore a bit noisy(and pricey)but we’re already planning to go back to try more of the menu!
Maia G — Google review
Had a great time at this place. The server was very friendly and gave us all the information we needed to order our drinks and food. The entree - leg of lamb was a lot of meat and would do good with some salad on the side to with. All good otherwise.
Aniket R — Google review
We came in at late lunch time (dinner menu), the manti is amazing, it’s inspired from the Turkish Manti and is very flavourful, the lamb is tender and moist. The chicken kebabs are succulent and arrive at the table with a sizzle, we ordered some pita to pair the kebab with. It’s a great place to people watch, if you are seated by the windows- the service is not hurried and a meal is enjoyable and slow unlike a lot of other places in the neighbourhood.
R K — Google review
Absolutely delicious! We started with the Kalamata olive fig spread and blue cheese feta spread - they were good individually and when we tried them together. I forgot to get a photo of the dolmades but they were the BEST WE HAVE EVER EATEN wow yum! Shakshuka was so good. Service was fabulous. Highly recommend!!!

I can’t wait to get weekend brunch here again! We had the shakshuka, the doughnuts, and the octopus hash. All were delicious. Great after a long evening out and worth a wait.

9/28 1pm. Great place, great food. However I wouldve rated the experience higher if I didn’t see a food runner actively popping his pimple on the right side of his jaw line. White chubby guy with glasses semi long brown hair. I also don’t want to slam the business over an employee doing something that wrong. Management please speak to this guy. Had he been our server I would’ve said something thankfully he wasn’t. Overall great greeter, great portions, our server was ok. I would still definitely come back but wouldn’t allow the pimple popping server to handle our table. Thanks
