They said they were going to find out what happened to the item that was sent from Toronto first. I have tried repeatedly over the next several days/weeks to get a refund, but now my emails are unanswered. They do not have a contact phone number. I was being patient because of the Canada Post strike, but at this point it's straight up theft of my money. I will have to pursue this. I wanted to try it based on all the great reviews I read but I'm pretty disappointed to be fair. I ordered the gouda sandwich which was supposed to be "life changing". The gouda wasn't melted at all after asking for it to be grilled. As well, there was no arugula on it which is detailed in the description. Instead they used romaine lettuce. I have noticed that the quality of ingredients has done a nose dive by comparing reviews of this sandwich from a few years ago. The many capers mixed with olive compote is quite overpowering and the focaccia bread is so hard! How old is the bread being used for the sandwiches? No idea why this sandwich gets such a great review. I found it quite expensive at $10.62 plus tax. I tried the butter croissant also to see if it was as good as people say. I would call it average and pricey at $3.50 plus tax. Not much better than a Timmy's croissant which was surprising. I regret going here now and wish I would have spent my 15 bucks on something else. Maybe this place used to be good, but it’s gone way down hill. For that money you can do so much better as there are so many good places downtown to get lunch.
