We ask them where to go and they said “find a parking and walk here it’s a sort walk!” Every attraction was like 1-2 km way and steep and they except us to walk that far with kids. And them one kind one said you may park in the front and take shuttle buses to come here. And that what we did. After pink lake we tried to go to another attraction with car again no parking and bad service. They said “ come back another day” so we were like that enough were going home. We parked on the side and programmed google maps for home and they won’t stop asking us to leave. I went on a Sunday. So don’t go on weekends. I’m never going there again!

The amenities are excellent, staff are always really helpful, shuttles and e bikes have really upped accessibility of the Park to all users. They also close down the parkways throughout the summer for Active Transportation uses (which many love…esp 🚲 and 🏃s). Don’t forget that both Chelsea and Wakefield are two amazing destinations immediately adjacent to both ends of the Park.

The terrain's pretty flat and even (except for two very short steep-ish segments of a couple strides), but there's enough different paths to keep each hike interesting. Parking is plentiful behind the sports centre. There's also a section that faces another parking lot (closed to cars) where you can cross Slack Rd. into another smaller trail area. As a person with mobility issues, I appreciated how well maintained the trail was and how easy it was to move around. The scenery is gorgeous and the boardwalk allows you to literally get into the middle of nature. It's wonderful to see the different areas and the trail I do plaques allow you to learn about the area as you go. I did find that the boardwalk was a little narrow in some spots and I would have really liked to have seen more benches along the way, otherwise it's a very assessible area. I look forward to going back and checking it out in another season.

They loved the walk! Lots of nice trails, boardwalk and pond to check out. We started walking the trails first. We liked the variety of trails which kept it interesting for the kiddos. I also can’t believe the chipmunks that were inches away from me on the trail. I have never seen them that close. Normally they are lighting fast. I had one baby touch the toe of my boot.
