I contacted the spa to reserve the traditional massage and a tuk tuk pick up from my hotel. They responded to my request confirming the reservation and pick up. I emailed them to ask and they did not send a pick up and stated that they will provide a drop off instead so I ended up just walking to the spa. The massage itself was great and the masseuse was wonderful. The place was very nice and I loved that the massage room had a shower in case it was sunny out and you wanted to wash the massage oils off your skin. The cost: I would say that this spa is on the higher end compared to other places in the area that are just as nice. I do not think it was worth the cost when similar spas were charging 1/4 of the price for the same massage. I paid about $45 for the traditional massage while other places charged like $12-20. I took a combination package which included green tea body scrub + foot massage + facial + wax. Started with wax, not happy with the service as there’s still hair left. When mentioned to the lady, she used tweezer to remove the small ones out but you could clearly see she’s not experienced enough for it as she tweaked my skin (super painful to the extent I had to tell her to stop & leave the hair be). I’ve been getting waxed for over a decade now and I’ve never seen someone use a wax strip for Brazilian wax , as it has always been a wax pull out. The green tea scrub service lasted for about 10-15mins and the lady left me wrapped in towels for about 35mins and asked to wash it off, decent service the bathroom was not good as the water wasn’t pumping down. Foot massage lasted for 20 mins as she left the room for something in between. Last service was facial, absolute waste of time and money as all she did was just wash the face and use some rough textured towels to clean the skin. My skin was already super irritated due to the humidity and it made it worse. All the above services were done without gloves (including waxing, which is not hygienic do either parties) Ended it with a tea. Overall if you are getting just a normal massage, I think this place is decent for the price but any other services is just waste of money
