I would also like to recognize the two ladies in the front who worked together to process my payment. I used a gift card which needed to be processed in an unfamiliar system. Not once did they show annoyance or inconvenienced. They handled it perfectly which helped me to maintain the relaxation I came in for. More so, this message is pointing at the state of the facility and the environment in which I think needs a ton of work or better general upkeep. I have photos attached for reference. I cannot speak to her room that she was in obviously, however after talking to her and showing her the photos of the room I was in, I do feel it wasn’t far off. I was shocked to walk into my room to find that it looked like something almost under construction. Paint was coming off of the walls. There was no light plate on the light switches, and in general just looked extremely rundown and plain. This was my first red flag as I could not believe the state of a room that you take clients too that are paying $190 for a service. I paid more for 50-min service with you that I would have where he works, which, is also a high-end very well-known place, and they would never allow a room to look like this for even less of a price. Please see the attached photos. Additionally, there were some things wrong with the room not just cosmetically that seriously need to be addressed for someone’s experience to be better. For one, I appreciate that my massage therapist was prioritizing his hygiene, however, the toothbrush and water cup, and toothpaste left where my stuff was supposed to sit was a bit alarming. Additionally in the room that I was in, the music was barely audible. It was so quiet that I was listening to fellow customers full conversations the entire time during my session instead of relaxing spa music. What was happening outside the room was crystal clear as opposed to the music being insanely quiet in the room that I was in to drown it. There was not one bit of that experience that was relaxing. As soon as my therapist entered the room, his shoes were incredibly loud on the flooring, it almost sounded like the floors were sticky, and his tennis shoes were sticking to them on every step. He was very aware of how loud this was up against how quiet the music was, so even though this was weird… I can appreciate that he did this: he took off his shoes because of the noise of sticking floors and massaged me barefoot. Again, I do not want to fault him for this because I do think he was trying to make my experience more enjoyable, and this is the fault of the facility, but it was a bit crazy. My massage was fine, there were some weird things and I do think maybe he could use a bit more training, however, if the facility hadn’t been half as bad as it was, I probably wouldn’t be saying anything right now. For a service this expensive, the state of that room was unacceptable. Additionally, like I mentioned, we planned to stay and use the amenities and facility, but it seems that everything in general was rundown and frankly gross. The pool was green and there were pool staff there tending to it, but it just felt really yucky. We did not end up staying and using any of the facilities that we had paid more for a massage to be at and simply went to our dinner reservation early just to leave. I paid for both mine and my friends massage and she had an equally unimpressive experience so I’m really bummed that something that cost me almost $500 total out the door was this below average.

We pre-booked a cabana and our spa services. When I had called to reserve they said that our cabana should be ready and set up around 1:30pm-2pm which we were excited about. However when we arrived and went outside, nothing was prepared. We even asked the gentleman attendant at the pool and he said he didn’t know that there was a reservation. It was a bit upsetting since we were hoping to get service and be able to dip ourselves in the pool sooner than later. It took about 45mins-1 hour to get our canned drinks and complimentary appetizer and everything squared away before we were able to fully enjoy ourselves. We booked for 4 hours and our spa services was going to be another hour so we really only had two hours to really relax and enjoy since we had to wait to get attended to. I didn’t feel as if it was worth the price at all since that was the expectation with the price point especially compared to the exceptional services at other places. But the massages and all of our other services were great afterwards and the ladies during that part were very welcoming and professional. At checkout though it didn’t feel as if they cared much about customer service when I brought up the situation and how we could proceed. I’m not sure if she was the manager but she definitely didn’t have the common decency to apologize or to converse so that was also a let down. The massage itself was professional and relaxing. I did unfortunately feel like the entire “experience” was overpriced. Otherwise, keep in mind that the heated pools are in gender separated locker rooms and you have to be completely naked. People who came yesterday would also notice the pee smell in the female steam room around 5ish pm. This is not the fault of the facility but they need to work better on educating people on what’s allowed. I enjoyed the mugwort bath but there was so much hair swirling around it. It’s now midnight and every few minutes there’s someone on a loudspeaker yelling outside. They should warn their guests so they can decide whether they want to upgrade to an area that is less noisy (which the guest shouldn’t have to pay for) or reduce the rate of the rooms that face the noisy side. The views on floor 21 are amazing, the bed was plush and comfortable, and the ability to open and close drapes all across the suite was awesome. We utilized the pool most while we stayed and the pool staff was also very friendly and warm, helping us choose a spot and set up, and checking in frequently on if we were hungry or thirsty. The walkability to restaurants was awesome, we enjoyed dinners at Bloom and Bee and Mastros during our stay. This is an excellent splurge for a staycation if you are local, everything we enjoyed was worth the price.

AKYISH has always showed up every time I would search those keywords. I saw in their website that they offer a couple Headspa treatments. I decided to go with the Carbonated scalp care ($45/45 mins). The lady who took my appointment over the phone was very sweet and polite. I really liked that they were open until 7:30 because it works with my 8-5 work schedule. The treatment itself was very relaxing and I would highly recommend it to anyone who needs stress relief after a long day. I do suggest to bring your own comb or any hair products to detangle your hair after the treatment. They do have a blow dryer in the restroom and they will offer it to you for use.

Also when the massage was done the person assigned to my mother asked her if she wanned something to drink, as oppossed to mine. Mine just said thank you and left which was a little rude. We both had just heard the other lady offer my mother something, which the natural thing would be to offer me something too. So this experience depends on who you get i guess. My mom was thrilled with the massage and the attentiveness. I couldn't say the same.
