This overall visit was underwhelming and way too expensive for what you see. The tram tours are pretty boring, especially the one that goes to the astronaut training facility. Once you arrive, you go up to a hallway where you just stare through the glass at nothing very exciting and the guide doesn’t know much or give much narrative. They say each tour lasts an hour but that is simply not true. It’s more like 10 minutes shuttling and 10 -15 minutes inside, then the rest is spent loading into the tram and waiting to depart/return. The tram where you pay additional (Mission Control) was slightly more interesting, but so not worth the cost. I’m pretty sure you can Google everything here from the comfort of your home for free and you can learn about things in more detail. The workers here appear unknowledgeable with no real clue about anything. And, if you go in the gift shop, prepare to be followed around and watched like a hawk. It was SO obvious that we were being profiled so we left without purchasing any of that overpriced crap that we might have purchased otherwise because we CAN! However, we saw no sense in throwing away our money here. Also, DO NOT waste your money on the VR Space walk simulator. Terrible experience and you will immediately regret it! Might as well wad up your cash and throw it in the trash because that’s what you will feel like you did when all is said and done. You will feel robbed from this whole experience.

Space Center Houston is an incredible place, one of those spots that makes you feel both small and inspired at the same time. The exhibits are fascinating and full of real artifacts from NASA’s missions, not just replicas. You can see actual spacecraft, touch a piece of the moon, and learn about everything from early Apollo missions to the latest space innovations. The tram tour is a must, it takes you to NASA’s Johnson Space Center, where you can see real astronaut training areas and mission control. It feels surreal to stand where history happened. The staff and guides are passionate and full of knowledge, always happy to answer questions and share fun facts. Everything is well organized, clean, and family-friendly. Whether you’re into science, history, or just curious about space, it’s a place that pulls you in and keeps you amazed. Plan to spend a few hours, there’s so much to explore and every part is worth it.

Great day out, if you like space travel. This is really a tourist trap but still very interesting and, tickets are reasonabley priced. Bit of a shock to also have to pay for parking, everyone us going to arrive by car why mot build this into the price? This would also stop confused people struggling to pay online! Food was pretty good if expensive, no worse than other theme parks. Paid $10 for a virtual reality experience. Not very long but incredible! Some of the outdoor exibits are showing some age but, still a great day out. I expect that the Xmas lights there were putting up will be spectacular!

Amazing day out… Last December we spent a whole day at NASA’s Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center with our friends. We reserved our timeslot online. This place serves as an inspiration and educational resources for all ages to learn about past and future space missions. The exhibits, NASA tram tour, historic sites like the Independence Plaza and Rocket Park are praiseful. We appreciate seeing the real artifacts, including spacesuits, spacecraft, and lunar samples. We also tried the motion simulator ride which has an additional fee and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The food court is clean and provides a selection of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. We also found our ideal NASA souvenir from their gift shop. Although we couldn’t secure a spot for the Historic Mission Control tour due to its limited availability, we would certainly return to take this tour.

So my travel goal has been to go to every Space Center in the US. So far, I've been to here and the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. This Space Center is awesome and it was a really enjoyable experience. Tickets here are surprisingly reasonable in price. Actually, all the pricing was really solid even for being a major attraction. I really enjoyed that they had a bunch of different tours inside as well as a bunch of films to watch. I was bummed that mission control was under construction when I was there, but I still got to see the bulk of the space center in the day I was there. I feel like you would need at least 5 hours to see most of the space center, but I feel like at least 2 days would be best. I highly recommend it; it's definitely worth seeing if you're in Houston and want to explore outside the city.

Visiting Space Center Houston was an absolutely incredible experience! The highlight of my visit was the unique opportunity to meet and talk with astronaut Jeremy Hansen, who will be part of the Artemis II mission next year. It was truly inspiring. What impressed me the most was being able to see the real testing facilities and witness up close the enormous size of the rockets that once went to the Moon. Standing next to such historic and powerful machines was simply breathtaking. This visit was sensational — a perfect combination of inspiration, knowledge, and awe. A must-see for anyone interested in space and exploration!

This amusement park is beautifully designed and located right by the sea, which gives it a unique and relaxing atmosphere. The whole park has a strong Spanish character, which adds to its charm and authenticity. Great place to spend a day with the family or a date. Lots of fun things to do and you can even get a tour in a boat 😵‍💫. They have a nice Hotel there you can stay and different restaurants with all kinds of food. The parking ticket is 15 dollars and the whole day pass was like 30 which is the best option. The roller coaster is insane 🤣 so much fun.

Kemah boardwalk is so exciting and magical. So many rides to go on. the restaurants are fabulous. we've eaten at all of them. Beast os such a high energy speed boat ride. We have to spend alone full day there everytime we go on vacation !

While it looked like it could have been super fun back in the day there was basically nothing open and it was basically dead. We were there at about 3pm on a Friday and was surprised at everything being closed up. Stopped into the aquarium for a quick bite and it was good but otherwise disappointed.

Our 1st time here, personally I was quite excited. The weather afforded us cool breezes, we arrived 11:45ish for scheduled noon opening and after walking around, having lunch the rides were just opening. When we left at 1:30 there was only one shop open. Totally disappointed! Don't know if this happens on a regular basis but I don't think we'll be driving an hour for this.

The Houston Zoo is a beautiful and well-kept place to visit any time of year. There’s a great variety of animals, shaded walking paths, and plenty of spots to relax or grab a snack. It’s especially perfect for families and nature lovers. Just a heads-up for winter visits — some animals may not be out due to the cold, so you might miss a few exhibits. Still, there’s always plenty to see and enjoy. We’ve been in different seasons and always have a great time! Highly recommend for a fun and educational day out in Houston.

This zoo is so nice! There is a ton of shade on the walkways, and the exhibits for the animals were pretty spacious compared to other zoos. They had drainage issues in the aquatic area when we went this past weekend so the penguin exhibit was closed unfortunately. The capybaras were definitely the highlight for me. You do need to purchase your tickets online prior.

It's a fairly decent sized zoo, there always seems to be something they're updating & maintaining. The staff is friendly & informative, there's several shady areas that help with super hot & humid days. It's not our family favorite zoo, but it is the closest and therefore we do visit several times a year. We still have not been in the children's area, so no feedback on that, but there does seem to be quite a lot under construction at this time of year. A big plus is all the beautiful landscaping which is well maintained & there always seems to be something in bloom.

Very calm and a nice place to visit with families. The zoo was maintained at all times, the food was also good inside. The lemonade was so good and it was so much compared to other portion sizes. I would always come back here for a good family time for sure.

I am not a big fan of zoos, but Houston Zoo's mission on conservation is so prominent in all that they do that the zoo felt less like a jail for animals and more like what a zoo really should be! Thank you for making my trip to Houston more memorable than it usually is! There are loads of animals to see and also loads of activities. Make sure you go early in the morning. The zoo is pretty big. We made it through in under 3 hours and made it to almost all the exhibits.

It was such a great experience! We usually don’t go to Zoos but it was fun and nice to see different type of animals that close. Also, at the beginning there is a guy who take nice photos you might try! Little elephant was my favorite.

An unforgettable family experience! The Houston Zoo is a fantastic place, perfect for families of all ages. We had a wonderful time exploring the wide variety of animals — from majestic elephants to playful monkeys. One of the highlights was definitely the carousel — such a beautiful and magical experience, especially for the kids. We absolutely loved it! If you’re visiting during summer, I highly recommend wearing sunscreen and choosing your visiting hours wisely to avoid the peak heat. Despite the weather, the zoo is well-maintained, clean, and filled with educational and entertaining exhibits. Five stars, no doubt. Highly recommended for families looking to enjoy a fun, educational, and memorable day together.

This is a great park. There's something for everyone here. The conservancy and Japanese gardens are stunning. Fantastic playgrounds and picnic areas. The train is $7 and is hop off, hop on all day. The zoo is an additional cost but worth it. Paddle boats are available to rent, as well. This is easily an all day destination that is worth the time.

I absolutely love Memorial Hermann parks — they’ve become one of our favorite places to spend time as a family. The splash pads are amazing — big, clean, and perfect for cooling off on hot days. There’s so much space for kids to run, play, and explore, and the water features keep them entertained for hours. It’s such a gem, especially if you have little ones. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already!

This park is not just beautiful but amazing! They have everything a kid could dream of in a park. Very clean, and well made. Restrooms are very clean as well. The only bad thing is to find a parking spot available.

Very cute park! Still have not explored the whole thing, but there were lots of clean benches and places to sit, wide paved pathways (and some gravel ones, typically narrower but still flat and maintained), and lots of turtles in the pond! We even saw some late-season baby ducks today, so cute 🦆

I enjoyed the zoo...lots of walking my only issue is the enclosures appear quite small for such large animals.. Compared to the zoo I visited in Colorado springs this is very small.

I really think this restaurant is faking its top reviews. Tortillas are not fresh, you can taste the preservatives. Same with the cheese. It’s covered in the same dust as shredded cheese you get from the grocery store. The beef fajita meat was very tough, had bad texture, and no flavor. Try a different restaurant in the area instead. Worse than chuy’s, worse than gringo’s, worse than taco cabana. HEB sells 20 fresh tortillas for like $5, there’s no reason for a taco restaurant to not be using fresh tortillas. Gas station quality, downtown price. Staff were friendly, atmosphere was fine. My wife got the fish tacos and said the only thing good was the Coke Zero.

The burrito I had was good and huge, maybe a little less flavorful than I was hoping. They put a good amount of meat in it though. Was not a fan of the tres leches cake. It was very thin, no milk on the bottom and way too much cinnamon. Prices were fair. The atmosphere and set up was very nice

A Day of Dinos and Decibels, Fueled by Bodegas A truly epic Houston day, one that spans from the prehistoric wonders of the Houston Museum of Natural Science to the thundering riffs of a Metallica concert, requires strategic and satisfying sustenance. Bodegas Taco Shop, conveniently nestled in the Museum District, proved to be the perfect fuel for our adventure. Stepping out of the museum and into the early evening, the casual and lively atmosphere of Bodegas was a welcome transition. With the promise of a high-energy concert ahead, we opted for a mix of fresh and flavorful tacos to power us through the night. The grilled chicken tacos were a solid choice. The chicken was tender and juicy, with a nice char-grilled flavor that paired well with the fresh toppings. Each bite was a straightforward and satisfying taste of a classic done right. The standout, however, was the fish tacos. Lightly battered and perfectly flaky, the fish was complemented by a crisp slaw and a creamy sauce that provided a refreshing contrast. They were a flavorful and surprisingly light option that didn't weigh us down before an evening of standing and cheering. Bodegas Taco Shop delivered exactly what we needed: delicious, quick, and energizing food in a prime location. It was the ideal pit stop in a day filled with Houston's finest offerings, from ancient fossils to modern metal legends. If you find yourself in the Museum District with a hunger to satisfy, Bodegas is a reliable and tasty choice.

Always hits the spot. Most don't even know they exist. They are the Gem of the medical center. The associates are always friendly and the the restaurant is always clean. 10/10 recommend.

Nice setup as far as the atmosphere but that is about all. The food is over priced, overcooked and it all comes straight out of a bag from the frozen food section from grocer supply or sysco. The rice had no flavor or seasoning just added corn to give it the presentation it needed to look appetizing but it was completely BLAND anlong with the beans and salsa. Also the chicken strips were ($13 )HARD DRY & extremely over cooked and the portion size was off...along with the flautas which were EXTRA CRIPSY & the chicken on the ends from the flautas was also burnt..but they still sent it off the line to serve to the customer. The only items that were actually good at this restaurant was the house RANCH & GUACAMOLE BOTH WERE AMAZING 👏 😋

The fish tacos were a little bland. Margaritas were good! I liked the inside, the bar, and the patio. If the food wasn't mid I'd recommend a bit stronger.

I realized they don’t respond to reviews, but I’ll still share my experience from last night dinner, which gave me plenty to talk about. First of all, Juan and his team did an incredible job taking care of our table while we celebrated my youngest daughter’s birthday. Truly excellent service, thank you again Juan. On the food side: -Patatas bravas felt more like baked mashed potatoes than authentic bravas. -Beef tartare was full of flavor, and my wife’s favorite appetizer. -Pulpo a la gallega was very good served over a bed of mashed potatoes. -Jamon iberico just jamon iberico. -Croquettes never made it to the table. -gambas al ajillo, had a tasty flavor but using skinless shrimp, they lacked depth of flavor. -fisherman soup was the biggest disappointment, no taste of the langostinos or fish, plenty of croutons and a piece of sautéed fish meat. -pig a la segoviana came with a strong gamey flavor that’s why we left some in the plate. -on the brighter side, the grilled branzino was just EXCELLENT served with veggies and again some sautéed mashed potatoes I’ll definitely order it again next time. Desserts were also a highlight: crispy fillo, tarta de Santiago, and lemon tart were all delicious, the cocktails were great too. Otra vez Gracias Juan. Ps: Chef … too much mashed potatoes 🥔

I made a business dinner reservation here and somehow it did not stick. They ended up being able to accommodate us anyway and set us up outside on one of the nicest days in Houston. They even have air-conditioning on the patio and it’s not even enclosed. This place is definitely worth the hype. Every single thing that we ate was so good and the service was impeccable. Definitely understand why it received a Michelin star for bib gourmand. The rabbit and the octopus were my favorites. The desserts were all outstanding too. We ordered three out of the five.

This place was exceptional. The service was fantastic, our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu, the quality of the food was excellent, the beverages were unique. And had a good environment. The suckling pig was absolutely delicious. The filo dough desert was delicious and light. Everything on the menu did in fact have a Spanish inspiration or origination and all have very unique flavor profiles. My only complaint would be around portion size of the food while I understand this is fine dining. I do think the entrée-portions and cocktails were slightly undersized. That said, I recommend and would return.

We celebrated a birthday dinner at BCN and it was absolutely phenomenal. The food was exquisite — every course transported me back to my time living in Spain. The atmosphere was elegant, warm, and celebratory, making it the perfect setting for such a special evening. This is hands-down my favorite restaurant for authentic Spanish fine dining. Every dish is beautifully crafted, full of flavor, and true to the heart of Spanish cuisine. Hernan and Javier ( at the bar) go above and beyond every time we visit — especially on special occasions like my birthday and our anniversary. They make us feel genuinely welcomed and celebrated, and their attention to detail and warmth create an experience that keeps us coming back. If you’re looking for impeccable food, refined atmosphere, and truly exceptional hospitality, this is the place. Must try: Patatas bravas Octopus Jamon iberico Branzino special Gin and tonic: guava ( spicy)and strawberry if you like sweet drinks Filo pastry ( don’t leave without trying this)

We came here to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and everything from start to finish exceeded expectations. The service was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and every dish we ordered was thoughtful and full of flavor. You can tell there’s serious care behind the kitchen and the front of house. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance—refined but still relaxed. Definitely one of the better dining experiences we’ve had in Houston in a while. We’ll be back.

This Galleria/mall has every store that you can think of. So many stores you cant get possibly get to every store in one day. They also have ice-skating a gigantic food court as well as a bunch of different services like massages nails haircuts. Parking was also very easy and did not take very long and surprisingly it was not as loud as I expected with as many people walking around during the holiday weekend.

The shopping, displays, and the size, oh my! What a delight to go to this place after the aquarium. It was a great way to see something specific to Houston while staying out of the heat. We ate, walked, enjoyed, and stayed cool. We even managed to meet some great people like Keke at the Capital One Cafe and Star at Studs where I found the specific piercing jewelry I was looking for, for the longest time! Loved it.

To all the shoppers in the USA. I have encountered many malls in my travels, but the Galleria, 5085 Westheimer Rd, Houston , TX. It’s one of the largest and most luxurious shopping malls. It has 400 stores, 60 eateries, ice skating rink, with office space and two upscale hotels. It’s beautiful, clean and gives everyone an opportunity to shop and walk until they drop. Next time you’re in Houston and need a vast variety of upscale shops this is definitely the place.

You can find the highest quality products and the best discounts at the Galleria, all while enjoying a completely safe environment. You can use the parking lot for hours without paying any fee, and also enjoy the kids’ play area and a variety of restaurants. In my opinion, the Galleria is the perfect place where you and your family can enjoy both a great shopping experience and the pleasant atmosphere of a shopping center.

The Galleria has a wide variety of stores, and I was able to find what I needed, including a visit to the Apple Store. After shopping, I enjoyed the food court options. Overall, it’s a convenient mall with plenty of choices.

One of the coolest features? The indoor ice skating rink — it adds such a unique vibe and is fun for both kids and adults. The mall also feels very safe and organized, with plenty of parking available (including valet if you need it). Whether you’re shopping, eating, or just exploring, The Galleria Houston never disappoints. Highly recommend for locals and tourists alike!

This mall is massive! A shopaholic’s dream. From budget to luxury! I purchased from Pandora , Skims, Lady M cake boutique, and for my ears pierced by Studs. It was an enjoyable experience for me.

Nothing about Houston makes sense! This beautiful attraction is the only attraction to see for miles. Houston must be so large that they sprinkle a little art all around. Luckily this was just a short walk from our hotel. It draws a lot of visitors. I loved to see the diverse crowd that gathered for photos. Be careful though, there isn’t a place to park. The tow truck was hovering and almost towed a car.

One of the most beautiful waterfalls I’ve ever seen inside the city of Houston. The design and atmosphere are truly stunning, making it a perfect place to relax or take photos. This park also holds a lot of good memories for me, which makes it even more special. A must-visit spot if you’re in Houston.

Absolutely a pleasure to be standing near the mist of water. The place is a quick 5min walk from Galleria mall which has ample parking space.

This place is breathtaking! You get to see a huge wall of cascading water that is awe-inspiring. This is located near the Galleria. This iconic Houston landmark is most likely the best thing one could put inside of a city.

Love this place. So peaceful when u visit this early in the morning so there won't be a any crowd. Plan ahead for photos you can definitely have few nice pics.

Memorial Park is a gem. The trails are well maintained, there’s plenty of space to walk, run, or just hang out under the trees. I love how peaceful it feels, even when it’s busy. The recent renovations made it even better. Great spot for nature, exercise, or a quiet break.

One of my favorite places in Houston. Huge open space, beautiful trails, and always feels clean and safe. Whether I’m running, biking, or just relaxing, Memorial Park always delivers. The new land bridge and Eastern Glades area are amazing upgrades. Perfect spot to disconnect from the city without ever leaving it.

I have been coming here for years and I absolutely love this place. No matter what time of the day or night I come it’s always amazing to connect with nature and enjoy the atmosphere. I usually go around 3 to 5 when there’s not so many people and I can just enjoy the paths at my pace without people interfering. Anytime after that is fine as well, but there’s just a lot of traffic on the trails. So if you’re an introvert go before traffic start starts if you like being around people then go anytime. Trust me this place is a place you can connect with nature. Enjoy the atmosphere the breeze in your hair on your face and just enjoy nature inside the city. Definitely a place that you guys could get addicted to.

The best park! Can get super packed during peak hours with everyone from your new fitness goers or the star athletes. Family friendly. Amazing environment, golf, restaurant, tennis courts, local events and most popular... the 3 mile loop.

Bayou City Art Festival fit nicely in a top corner of the park. At least 95% accessible to wheelchairs. Some of the transitions from asphalt to ground were a challenge, but the biggest challenge was getting over a garden hose. Popped a wheelie and got the front wheels over, but couldn't get the back wheels over.

I love this park so much! It’s scenic views with its trees, lakes, fountains, golf course there’s so much to do here. It has restrooms, walking/running trails, a huge amount of parking, playground, pickleball court, outdoor equipment area, picnic areas, covered picnic tables to celebrate special events. I love coming to this park and seeing all that nature has to offer.

beautiful covered amphitheater at Herman Park in Houston. with hill and train and concessions and everything a great park has. we were there for symphony at the theater and 25000 other people in the park to watch the fireworks 🎆 for July 4th festivities!!!

The Show tonight was Great! I assumed it was going to be a repeat of Friday night’s show. Boy! Wuz I wrong, and refreshingly astonished. I accidentally met tha performers of tha group Astro Inn before their set. Those guys were very good. I enjoyed their performance so much, I failed to record much of it. My favorite of tha three was Vortexz. I don’t recall tha lead singer’s name, but, he was a true showman. visions of Little Richard, Michael Jackson and a few others popped into my head as I observed him dance and prance across tha stage. Imma let my videos and photos complete tha tale.

The Three Pigs Remix by the Ensemble Theater was enjoyable. The background music was incredible and complimentary to the acting scenes and stage. The acting talent was pleasant and interesting, I just wished they would have gone 10 minutes more. Enjoyable moment to catch this play at the start of the summer.

I have never been disappointed when I have gone to see a show. Always enjoy myself. In fact, I LOVE IT. I'm there a lot, in the spring, up until it's over. Great performances each and every time. They have something for everyone. I attend most of them. Never say on the hill. I like being underneath the sheltered area. Can't go wrong. Make donations for it to continue. Great date nights. Have not had any incidents ever, when I was there. Everyone vibing, singing, dancing..etc. Having a good time.

I typically go when they have the Motown Tribute. You have to get there at least 3 hours before the performance to get a good spot on the hill. Bring food, drinks, fans, umbrellas, sun hats, and all the things to keep the heat at bay. Chairs are on one side, and blankets are on the other. If you position your seat just right, you will be able to see the stage perfectly. I enjoy sitting on the lawn. Have great conversations with your neighbors and hear great music for free. I go every year. There is plenty of parking, and it fills up fast. Make sure you wear good shoes because it's a STEEP hill on the sides. There's a paved pathway that goes around to a less steep hill. It's a lot of walking if you park far, but there is a drop-off place for those with disabilities. They do have a concession stand that sells food and drinks. Bathrooms and port-a-potties for the large crowd were available. There were vendors selling gelato on both sides of the hill. They did ask for donations to keep this, motown tribute, event free. Tickets are free buyout have to reserve them. Five minutes before the show, they opened up the seating under the Pavillion for those standing in line for the seating.

Watched the Symphony Orchestra perform songs of Summer Nights. it was a beautiful evening, and even from far away the music was able to be heard, as we walked towards the park from our stay. The front area has seating, but you should definitely remember to bring a lawn chair or blanket if you're not going to sit up close. Also there were thousands of people there that came to watch, and everybody was so respectfully quiet.

A great place to enjoy with your family and friends. In this amazing park you can find a lot of activities and events. An excellent option for kids. Parking is free and most of the activities as well.

I flew from Milwaukee to Houston to see Nine Inch Nails, and this venue is really great. I had sat in section 418 row 1, perfect straight-on view of the show. The sound quality was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is that there's some room for improvement, specifically for navigation and seating. This venue is going through some visible remodeling, and I hope they fix the seating because the seats were really lacking some cushioning so it felt like sitting on metal bars essentially. But one of the biggest areas of improvement is that there's no escalators in the venue. The only way to get up to our seats was either by stairs or elevator. The elevator was understandably slow due to the volume of people who need the elevator, but it's so odd that there's no escalators in the venue. I feel like it would be a big improvement to have for overall experience to speed up getting to our seats. However, I do recognize that there's remodeling going on so I think maybe it'll be updated in the future. Overall, I still really enjoyed this venue and would definitely come back to see a concert here if I'm ever back in Houston.

We got tickets for a preseason game. They were cheap, yeah, but we were up in the 400 section and these seats are terrible. The rows are super steep, and there aren’t any cup holders at all. One adult beverage was forty bucks, which is just wild. Overall, it was a fun experience to say we went, but definitely not worth it for those seats. Just nah, lol.

I always loving to go here to see bands period usually the staff is pretty nice and helpful if you need to figure some stuff out. The only thing I would say is just like any other Stadium the prices for their drinks find food is terribly overpriced. But if you're just there to see a band or any live show of any kind I'm not planning on drinking alcohol or eating it's definitely a fun venue to go to.

The staff here are always very polite and will gladly assist you with any questions, concerns, directions, etc. Also, the venue feels safe. There is a strict clear bag policy. Please check size guidelines for mentioned clear bags. I've seen people be turned around before entry because their clear bag was too big.

Went for the 85 South Spin the Block ComedyTour. Show started about an hour late but was overall hilarious. Well worth it. Felt like we needed an extra 45 minutes of laughter.

Wonderful game against the Brooklyn Nets, the Houston Rockets won by 30 pts and I got a chance to watch KD play which was great!! First time in Houston, and luckily the Rockets were playing so I definitely didn’t pass up a chance to watch KD play. Such a great arena!!

I visited the Toyota Center for the first time and I can say that it's a great place for shows like Maroon 5, excellent sound and visibility even from the 414th stand, everything is perfectly organized, thanks to the staff

They made our special day memorable. We already had high expectations from food and service quality given they are a Michelin star but they were able to somehow exceed them still. We were casually chatting among ourselves that a dish seemed to miss the mark and our host replaced it with an impeccable option without even asking. Portions were generous unlike other Michelin stars I’ve been to and flavor profiles and presentation exquisite as you would expect. The card signed by the staff was an unexpected surprise and such a warming gesture. We know where we are celebrating our next life milestones!

Dining at Musaafer in was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the breathtaking design and attention to detail in the atmosphere, which set the stage for an incredible evening. The food was nothing short of extraordinary that made each course take you through like a journey. The “Indian” birra taco was outstanding. What truly elevated our night, though, was our waiter, Roshi. His warmth, professionalism, and genuine care made us feel like more than guests. Roshi’s service turned a great meal into an exceptional experience that we will remember and talk about for a long time. Musaafer is a destination in itself, but with service like Roshi’s, it becomes something truly extraordinary. We cannot wait to return.

My girlfriend and I came to try their tasting menu for her 25th birthday. The atmosphere was impressive with all the attention the detail with the furniture, walls, mirrors, and decorations. We were seated in a nice room and our waiter JP was very nice and didnt hesitate to converse with us. He was very good at explaining everything on the menu from memory and was very attentive to our needs. He explained everything on the tasting menu as it came and even included stories from the chef. The food itself was a 10/10 and if I were to go again I would definitely recommend the tasting menu. You definitely need an openminded pallet to enjoy it but it was truly an amazing representation of the food and culture from India. The service was amazing too as they constantly cleaned our table, got us new silverware to replace dirty ones, and gladly explained things. The drink recommendations were also very good as my girlfriend doesnt necessarily like the taste of alcohol and JP gave us recommendations based off that. Overall 10/10 experience and I would definitely recommend someone to try here and I can wait to come back.

20/10 incredible experience!! Yes the presentations are beautiful, yes the building architecture and mosaics are stunning but the flavors from the food INCREDIBLE especially the butter chicken experience, the lamb chops and lychee ceviche. Plus the odes to the different regions in India really put the bow on top. Couldn’t be more excited to try their restaurant in NYC and special shoutout to Roshi’s greatly executed presentations.

The place was absolutely amazing! I honestly can’t even believe how delicious the food was from the drinks, to the appetizers, to the main dishes and OMG the desert was just next level. I can tell why this place has a Michelin Star the food has so many unique flavors that truly stand out with spectacular presentation. Our waiter Greg was so nice and gave us the best choices and help on what food options to choose. Definitely a must go! And an unforgettable experience! 💖💖💖

We celebrated my fiancée birthday by doing their tasting menu this weekend. It did not disappoint! The service was impeccable and the food was delicious! I also enjoyed the atmosphere, you felt like you were transported out of the city. I appreciated that they were able to do a vegetarian option for me. Jerry, our server, knew the menu and was kind enough to fix a chia tea that I made a mistake on. Humberto, I believe was the director of food & beverage, walked us through the Mukhas dish. Even Chef Istwal stopped by our table to ask how everything was going. The overall service was next level. I was so stuffed towards the end, the amount of food for the price is appropriate. My overall favorites were the lychee ceviche, achapan, & paneer chandani. The chef did an amazing job balancing the flavors and making the dishes look beautiful. We would go back to go through another food journey.

I have eaten in some amazing restaurants, many fantastic Indian restaurants, and quite a few other Michelin rated restaurants in Austin and around the country. This was one of the best meals of my entire life. We did the full tasting and added a couple of extras (14 courses in total) with the wine pairing. Our server, Ahmed, was the most fantastic guide through the whole evening. This was edible art and we devoured every bite. The vibe was low lights, comfy chairs, unique tilework, and clearly very inspired by India. The room we sat in (wish I took a picture) had a ceiling that was literally built in India, then separated into 7 large pieces, shipped here, and put back together. And it was breathtaking. I don't remember exactly what everything was that we ate, but it was definitely Indian fusion. While they have staples like Butter Chicken, Samosas, jasmine rice, etc. on their a la carte menu, the tasting menu was on another level. One of our favorite dishes was this beet root amuse bouche that took us on a flavor journey that made us feel like we were in the Willy Wonka labratory. Another was the ceviche. This was like no ceviche I've ever had, but it was so amazingly delicious and gorgeous. There was also like a foie gras cookie? I can't even begin to explain why it was so extremely incredible, but it was. This was not a cheap meal, it was a special occasion, but it's been weeks and I haven't stopped thinking about how good everything was. Highly recommended!

If you're craving a burger that absolutely rocks, burger‑chan on Alabama St is your new go‑to. I went for the Spicy on a fluffy brioche bun, piled on extra ghost‑pepper flakes, and it was 🔥—juicy, punchy, and perfectly balanced by the buttery bun. I meant to order the Vietnamese coffee shake but ended up with a vanilla instead… still ridiculously good! I can’t wait to go back and explore the rest of the menu. This place has serious flavor chops and a fun, flexible chalk‑style ordering vibe. Highly recommended!

This place has a really interesting system. I appreciated how clearly they explained their halal options the halal ingredients are handled completely separately and never come into contact with pork products. That level of care is impressive.The portions are large, and the fries were quite tasty. However, I found the flavor of the beef itself a bit underwhelming compared to the rest. The atmosphere is nice, and the place is clean and well kept.Overall, it’s a good spot with thoughtful service and a clear commitment to halal preparation.

Took a lunch break with my wife and she picked Burger Chan—first time for me, so why not! It’s located off W. Alabama near the Galleria. Didn’t grab any interior pics, but the ordering system is simple: you walk in, grab a small clipboard, and check off exactly how you want your burger built. I kept it straightforward—1 patty (5oz), bacon, pepper jack, brioche bun, and BBQ sauce. My wife ordered a 5oz single with bacon and lettuce, plus tots. She got the spicy tots—not sure if they offer a non-spicy version, I wasn’t paying that much attention. Now for the actual burger. The brioche bun was on another level—soft, buttery, and slightly toasted inside. The patty isn’t smash style and not super thick either—just a solid medium-thickness burger cooked perfectly medium, juicy and lightly seasoned. The bacon came in medium-thick pieces broken into smaller bits, and that was a big plus for me. Pepper jack and BBQ sauce pulled everything together. With all the customization options here, I’m definitely coming back. This burger easily ranks high on my favorites list.

The food was Bomb! The curly fries were good for some cheese sauce on the side and dipped them in and it was so good. The burger was delicious got a single 5oz with bacon. Delicious. Only complaint is the WAIT time. Mannn.. lines are long and then cook time is long before they call your number. Overall would definitely go back and recommend but if you can order ahead definitely do it or don’t go when you are sooo hungry that you can’t wait. But it was good! A must go! And I like the clip board order forms makes it so much easier when you get to the register

This location is very busy despite having indoor seating and outdoor seating in the courtyard. It is located in a shopping complex with a bunch of cafes and restaurants near by - parking was a bit difficult but there is also street parking available. To order, they have clipboards with forms attached to which you can specify the condiments and sides and drinks of your liking. I like this organized method as there leaves little confusion when ordering and that prices are clear when ordering extra condiments. There milkshakes were tasty, unique flavors such as black sesame and Vietnamese coffee flavors. The small sizes are unfortunately smaller than average and for the price we are paying for the shakes, I believe the small size could have been bigger. Overall, great tasting burger - their jalapeno mild sauce was different, spicy, and delicious. Would definitely come back to try different toppings and flavors for my burger but the pricing is a bit high for one full meal.

Burger Chan has such a fun and welcoming vibe! They have both indoor and outdoor seating — perfect whether you want to hang out inside or enjoy the nice weather. The space is bright with playful wall art, and there’s even coloring available for kids, which makes it great for families too. The food is fantastic — their grilled chicken burger is big and packed with flavor, the curly fries are super crisp, and the sauces are seriously some of the best around. A great spot for a casual meal that hits all the right notes!

Feel bad to have to-go instead of dine in. But even tho to-go. The burgers still taste so well and their dressing is a plus. Also. I’m surprised with that taro chips. It’s really good. If you are looking for a “fast food”, this isn’t a right place. They make fresh and orders probably take 10-15 mins. But you are looking for a quality food and BEST burger. You are coming to the right place ! The price is super affordable in Galleria area

Our server was great! The food was so good! We had a large party and they exceeded our expectations! We used the valet parking option so we didn’t have the added pressure of finding parking.

I visited Houston from Seattle last month for 3 days. I went for breakfest on day two to this lovely place. The cocktails were phenomenal. The potato hash was next level. The chicken and waffles were elevated and really tasty. The country fried steak was BOMB. The waitresses were REALLY NICE and gave us good recommendations for the rest of our trip. The outdoor tables were quite sticky but that could be attributed to the climate which I am not accustomed too. When in Houston next I will definitely be coming back here!

Came by after day well spent at Houston Museum of Natural Science. Must try fried green tomato. Oxtail grits were good 7.5/10 for my liking. But overall I would comebacks if next time in the area.

I feel terrible, I can't remember his name, Think it started with an "R" but we dined in on the night of Oct 3rd. They also had live music in the back. Overall 10/10

I was in town visiting from Dallas and had Sunday brunch here. The food was amazing. Everything tasted great lots of good flavors and spices. Really good southern options and and food presentation was spot on. Highly recommend.

I really was looking forward to this after being recommended. Our server Kassy was awesome from start to finish. The food and pricing fell apart. First the Hot Chicken Sandwich was seasoned with way too much cumin and that was not good. Second I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken and the taste was good however the 4oz portion size was unacceptable for the price of $29. They changed me for a 44 Farms chicken fried steak. Side of extra gravy was .50 which I had no problem paying. We also had a Croissant French Toast with Wings. Wings were a bit small. Overall my experience was less than favorable.

Tried this place out during Houston Restaurant Week and so glad we did! The deal was amazing for the price. The vibes were great throughout. Only thing negative was the valet parking and how there was no public parking available. If you go def try their bread pudding.

Pretty rad spot to hang out for a quick beer and a bite - they’ve got food trucks all the time it seems. It’s in a very central location and the surrounding area is very walkable with a decent amount of stuff to see. The beer was solid and there was quite a bit of outdoor activities available at the time too - great for families with kids.

Very cool interior with a chill outdoor area. They’ve got games around the brewery and drinks are fantastic. If you go out the back, there’s plenty of seating and cool spots to take some photos. Love the sculptures and the We Love Houston sign. Now for my standard comments. Interior is kept clean and seating is comfortable. Outdoor seating is pretty big as well.

I had the thc hibiscus margarita and it was delicious! It was tart but sweet at the same time. Place has a chill vibe. No food but there are food trucks/stands right outside.

Great beer selection and they hesitate to let you sample some beers until you find the perfect one to commit to! They had a food truck on site and air conditioning inside! Lots of memorabilia to make it a fun atmosphere. Great walking distance to other spots in Eado (East of Downtown). Also very close to the “we love houston” sign for pictures!! Parking was done through city app, very affordable and easy to extend your time if needed.

I grew up going to the Astrodome and I moved away at 18. This place not only brought back so many memories but the beer was very delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and I will come back when I make my next visit to Houston.

Always a great place to visit when in Downtown HOU. Decent food truck on premises. Parking can be a bit hard to find depending on nearby events. NOTE: the Beatles statues were sold to a Mazda dealership in Webster several weeks ago, they are no longer here.
