When we walked into this pub we expected a very high quality of food and service. I just got a feeling of this looks a high standards. Due to lack of choice I was unable to order suitable replacement. Other members of party who had alternative were unimpressed with quality of the food . Place looked grubby and window frames in toilets were gross. On a positive note Christmas tree looked ok. Avoid if you want a reasonably decent menu , and menu availability ....Shame really , spoilt the experience, it fell well below expectation, given location of this venue. Very impressed. They had a proper lunch menu of sandwiches, snacks, and more. They didn't try and fob us off with a full meals only menu. Our friends brought their dog alone, and we found the pub very dog friendly. the dog got water as soon as we were seated and there is even a doggie menu. Service from the manager and waiting staff was top quality and very friendly. The food itself was excellent. the beer selection both standard and non alcoholic was very good as well. We had to street park despite the pub having a large car park, however this was just because local building works had block of the car park entrance. Overall a great pub, where we are likely to return.
