This is a nice little spot tucked in the middle of downtown. We stopped in for breakfast. Order to table in about 10 minutes, which was great considering how busy this place was. We got the Meat lovers omelet with pan fries and English muffin. We also got the BLT with the fruit salad. They are both great choices on the quite the expansive menu. It looked like there was a half pound of bacon on my sandwich, the fruit salad was fresh and tasty I loved it! They have a smoothie bar also, I will be trying that on our next visit. My little sister has a bunch of dietary restrictions and the team was SO patient and cognizant of keeping her safe. The coffees, drinks and teas were definitely the highlight, which is to be expected from a coffee shop.

I don’t dislike this place, really wanted to love it. The location is so cool, tucked away from busy elm, right on the river, and the indoor atmosphere has a Whole Foods, modern industrial vibe. Our food was fine. My boyfriend’s burrito was pretty small and the tortilla wasn’t toasted. My sandwich was a good breakfast sandwich, really no complaints there... once I got it. The biggest discrepancy we had was my boyfriend’s food came out ten to fifteen minutes before mine was brought to the table. I've been looking to try different places instead of going to the same old same old and this place had a quirky name and a varied menu. As you can see from the outdoor shot, the staircase is what is known as a welcome staircase which is a southern architectural design feature meant to welcome travelers coming from anywhere. I had to take a picture of the entryway which features a rabbit who greets you at the door. The industrial design of the interior harkens back to when this was the functioning Waumbec Mill. The old wood has a new life as the beautiful golden oak interior which is warm and homey. My daughter and I both got the California breakfast sandwich, my mom got the Denver omelet and my dad got The Waterworks. The staff is very friendly and even gave us a comedy show while we were waiting for our food. It is a very friendly, welcoming, down to earth, family environment which I would highly recommend. The food was delicious, hot, and filling. My daughter and I ended up taking home half of our sandwiches to enjoy later. Do yourself a favor and check this place out, but be mindful, they are only open for breakfast and lunch. There is also a handicapped entrance on the side as the entry to the actual Cafe is around the back with plenty of parking.

The latte was great however I was disappointed with the sandwich. The eggs were overcooked unlike the buttery and fluffy texture that I remember from before. First visit ever and loved everything about the place. We only had coffee and a muffin, but the coffee was SUPERB and that's a big plus for me. Awesome little cafe!!! The service was knowledgeable and respectful, food and coffee AMAZING. Id recommend anyone reading this go give this spot a try, the owner Kris was extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I love Dunkin's location for the people, the service, and the product. Although I did a drive-thru, I also had to go in to use the facility. The drive-thru was busy but the staff kept that line moving with no wait. I decided to go inside and the facility as well as restrooms were very clean. It was peaceful inside. For the past five years, this has been my go-to spot for my morning iced coffee. I’ve been a loyal customer, visiting daily with the same order, and even tipping the staff $150 during the holidays, four times a year. Unfortunately, this location has gone downhill recently.
My order is simple: iced coffee with regular cream, sugar, and a flavor shot. However, for the past month, the older gentleman who makes the coffees has consistently made it wrong. He refuses to add cream, claiming he doesn’t drink his coffee that way and thinks it looks fine. This interaction has become a frustrating routine where I end up with the wrong coffee every time. When I ask for it to be fixed, I’m met with attitude and long waits as staff members, who seem to be doing nothing, ignore me.
The quality of the coffee has also declined—it’s undrinkable. The manager is unprofessional, often glaring at customers instead of assisting. There’s always a line of people waiting while the staff stands around chatting. There used to be one employee in the drive-thru who went out of his way to help, even when he was busy, but now he’s gone.
This rapid decline in service and quality highlights the importance of good management, and unfortunately, this location doesn’t have it anymore. After years of loyalty, I won’t be coming back.
