Gardens
Naples Botanical Garden is a sprawling 170-acre park located in the southern region of Naples, near the Windstar community. It features cultivated tropical gardens, walking trails, and The Preserve, which covers 90 acres of diverse ecosystems. Visitors can explore various themed gardens such as the Brazilian garden boasting over 50 plant species, the Caribbean garden with its Ware Palm Collection, and the Asian Garden with winding paths and stunning water features. Additionally, there are opportunities for educational programs and tours.
Absolutely gorgeous place to visit. So many unique plants, trees and flowers. Beautiful landscape with different themed gardens. Peaceful and tranquil. Plenty of places to sit and relax. The gift shop was very nice. I would like to visit the cafe next time. I would highly recommend and plan to visit again next time I am in Naples. If I was local, I would get a membership.

This lovely garden is worth a visit if in area, peaceful and quiet. There’s many water exhibits w/ waterfalls and water lilies of all colors, my favorite part. There are a few unpaved trails to walk, we didn’t have the proper shoes, definitely a sneaker walk along the water. We stopped into the Fogg cafe which had sandwiches, salads and drinks. Go check it out, it’s probably beautiful in the cooler months.
Melanie M — Google review
A great place to get away but try to not go after noon if you can. There is lots of shade if you do go when it's sunny. Pack mosquito repellent! The lily pads are beautiful.
Linda M — Google review
Absolutely stunning, these gardens are just beautiful, such a wide range of flora and fauna from all over the world. Definitely worth a stop for a few hours.
Bostonh2o — Google review
Such an awesome botanical garden, and it has grown so much for a garden that was established in 1993. I get so many plant ideas from here. The staff are amazing, and they work with so many citizens, non-profits and governmental organizations. From public education, to helping land managers conduct prescribed burns and rare plant surveys, they do so much for the community. They even try help Collier County plant appropriate low maintenance landscaping that doesn't require high use of herbicides and fertilizers. Their Night Lights in the Garden has become one of our annual family traditions for Christmas

Naples Botanical Garden is hands down one of the most peaceful, inspiring, and beautifully maintained places I’ve ever visited. From the moment you walk through the entrance, you’re transported into a world of vibrant color, calming sounds, and nature’s finest beauty. This isn’t just a garden—it’s an immersive experience. Each section is themed to represent different regions of the world, and the attention to detail is absolutely incredible. The Brazilian Garden bursts with bold tropical plants and unique sculptures, while the Asian Garden provides a sense of calm and reflection with its bamboo, water features, and peaceful pathways. The Caribbean Garden has a relaxed, coastal vibe that makes you feel like you’ve escaped to a quiet island paradise. One of my personal favorites was the Florida Garden, which celebrates the natural landscape and native plants of the state. It’s educational, beautiful, and a perfect reminder of how much Florida has to offer. The Children’s Garden is a gem of its own—playful, interactive, and filled with surprises for the little ones, yet still enjoyable for adults walking through. There are plenty of shaded paths, benches, and quiet areas to just sit and take it all in. The garden is extremely clean, well cared for, and the staff and volunteers are always friendly and willing to share knowledge about the plants and exhibits. There’s also a charming café with indoor and outdoor seating that offers a great spot to relax with a drink or snack while overlooking the water. If you’re looking for a place to reflect, connect with nature, or just enjoy a few peaceful hours surrounded by beauty, Naples Botanical Garden is a must-visit. Whether you’re a plant lover or just someone in need of a peaceful escape, you’ll leave refreshed, inspired, and already planning your next visit.

Worth the time and money, huge place, interesting birds and flowers, many I’ve never seen, Café and Art Museum also available if you want to cool off.

I have visited this botanical garden about then years ago. I just found my pictures of somebeautiful plants. I do photography full time and I think these beautiful plants deserve to be shared. This place is simply awesome. I wish we would make the whole world like this, not just a little square block.

Fishing pier
Naples Pier, a historic 100-year-old pier in Naples, is a popular spot for fishing, bird-watching, and dolphin-spotting. It extends into the Gulf of Mexico and offers stunning sunset views that attract amateur photographers. Visitors can rent fishing poles from outfitters or simply enjoy a leisurely walk along the pier. Nearby attractions include the Historic Palm Cottage and several free historical museums maintained by Collier County.
Nice time relaxing at the beach. Pier is still closed from Hurricane but rebuild plans look nice. Can't wait to see what comes next.
Robert B — Google review
The pier was broken from the hurricane when i visited and the public isn't allowed to enter. Parking here is very expensive so take that into consideration. The beach still looked nice even though it was raining before. The renders of the new pier look promising, can't wait to see it when it's done.
Marc M — Google review
Very awesome beach! Sand feels like sugar in your toes! 2nd time in my life at 42 being at the ocean. I'm glad I got to visit here a couple times during our visit. My 4 year old loved sifting sea shells. There are bathrooms and outdoor showers to wash sand off. Water was nice and salty. Got to watch the sunset. That was awesome. Nice long distance lots of room for everyone. Everyone is friendly. So relaxing. .
Tonya R — Google review
Drove from Miami, stopped on my way up to Tampa because the pier is so highly regarded. Turns out it has been closed for a while. The fisherman are still out today though, the sand is soft and white, folks enjoying the beach, and the sound of the waves are still nice. Will be great if the pier ever reopens. Bathrooms are clean, there are lifejackets available for public use (mainly for kids) and the area seems maintained well. Parking is available just short walk down the street for $5 per hour. Public beach access
Jordan M — Google review
Naples Pier is one of the most iconic and relaxing spots in the area. The pier is currently under repair but there is access to the beach. The beach surrounding the pier is absolutely beautiful, with soft white sand and typically crystal-clear waters that are calm and peaceful—perfect for swimming, lounging, or just floating in the water. It’s an ideal place for families or anyone looking to unwind by the ocean without big waves or strong currents. The pier itself offers some of the most stunning views in Naples. Whether you walk out to enjoy the ocean breeze, watch people fish, or catch the sunset, the perspective from the end of the pier is truly special. On clear days, the colors of the water range from turquoise to deep blue, creating postcard-worthy scenery. It’s a must-visit if you’re in Naples.
Manuel A — Google review
Definitely recommend this place! It’s so beautiful here. Unfortunately the pier was still closed last time we visited (Winter 2024). Hasn’t been open since Ian. Hopefully they’ll open it up soon again tho :]
Joel — Google review
Beautiful beaches and area, but pier was closed down. Looks like the end was destroyed.
Tommie T — Google review
What a beautiful place! The beach is really pretty and while the pier is not open due to hurricane damage, it doesn't take away from the beauty of the area. There are lots of shells and if you walk north, it's a lot less crowded. Parking is a challenge - took us awhile but we eventually got a spot in the paid lot across the street from the entrance. Definitely get there early if you want parking. The restrooms are also clean - big win.

Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens, formerly known as the Caribbean Gardens, has been a prominent attraction in Naples for nearly a century. It offers boat tours through islands inhabited by monkeys and lemurs, gator feedings, and engaging animal shows. The zoo is an ideal destination for families to observe animals from around the globe as well as local species.
🌟 5-Star Zoo Review Example: I had such a wonderful time at Naples zoo! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The zoo was clean, well-organized, and had shaded areas throughout — which made walking around so much more comfortable. You can bring food and drinks from outside to save money and plenty of picnic tables to sit and enjoy. What really stood out was how happy and well-cared-for the animals looked. The enclosures were spacious and thoughtfully designed to mimic natural habitats. We especially loved the giraffes! I also appreciated how educational the experience was. There were informative signs and even zookeepers nearby to answer questions. You could tell they genuinely care about conservation and animal welfare. The prices were fair, and they even had discounts available if you are a local resident and military. Highly recommend spending a few hours here whether you’re local or just visiting. It’s a perfect mix of fun, learning, and connection with nature. Can’t wait to come back!
Tiffany M — Google review
The Zoo is way better than the last time I visited. My kids enjoyed so much feeding the giraffes. A lot of places to rest under the trees. They implemented a few water sprinklers so we can cool down.
Lisette T — Google review
We loved the Naples zoo! It's not overly huge, but they have a good number of animals in the space, and they have some experiences that make it even better. The primate cruise is a fun way to see the monkeys, while not just walking, but riding on a boat around a man-made lake. It was so fun to learn about each of the individual monkeys on this ride. The other thing they offer is giraffe feeding! For $5-20 you can get different amounts of food and feed the giraffe right there. My daughter loved it! The walk through the rest of the zoo is very beautiful, it's well maintained, doesn't smell poorly, and highlights life in southwest florida. I also felt that the postings and information near the animals (and the viewing spot signs) really helped enhance the overall experience.
Lindsay V — Google review
I haven’t been here in many years and wasn’t expecting it to be very impressive. Boy, was I ever wrong! This is one of the nicest zoos ever. They have a very nice selection of resident critters as well as greenery. The staff members were extremely friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a great way to spend a couple hours! Check it out!
Mike K — Google review
This is a beautiful zoo. It is not very big, but is a perfect size. The boat tours through islands of monkeys and lemurs was awesome! Lots of shaded areas and sitting spots. Staff were very friendly and informative. I would definitely visit again.
Jennifer F — Google review
The zoo is full of beautiful greenery. All big trees around help to cool down when the weather is sunny and hot. The animals look healthy and everything is well maintained.
JT. W — Google review
This local Zoo is a fun place to visit. A half day will get you through the entire place, but it has a lot of exhibits. Many cats, birds, reptiles and yes Monkey islands best viewed by the boats which are included. Wanna see huge Florida Alligators? They're here, and yes very big. (No close encounters). 😃 Here's a small sample of what's in store for your arrival. Btw, there's lots explanations about the 7 million plants here too! Hint: There's some really old trees. Have fun!
David F — Google review
Naples Zoo has a great range of animals, all in spacious and very well maintained habitats. The primate cruise is amazing, especially as something included in the price of the ticket. The zoo has enough refreshment and snack stalls and toilets. All round a great experience!

Caribbean Gardens, also known as the Naples Zoo, is a popular attraction in southwest Florida. Established in 1919, it features exotic animals set amidst lush tropical gardens with mature trees and exotic plants. The botanical collection was planted fifty years prior to the introduction of animals, allowing for exhibits that make the most of the space around decades-old trees. This makes it a must-visit destination for nature and animal lovers alike.

Lowdermilk Park is a popular destination in Naples, offering a range of amenities for visitors. Families with children will appreciate the full-service facilities, including two gazebo pavilions for picnics, playgrounds, and a duck pond. The park also features sand volleyball courts, restrooms, showers, and handicap access. Additionally, beach rentals such as kayaks and stand-up paddle boards are available at the concession stand.
This place is great. Beach was clean, water temperature was perfect and no seaweed, restrooms were well maintained throughout the day. There is a outdoor rinsing area. Parking is limited so get here early. Concession stand offers some snacks items and staff was friendly. Parking is $5 an hour, bring your own tent or umbrellas but they also offer rentals.
Jayz24981 — Google review
Nice location! Bathrooms could be maintained a little more but better than most locations! Very short waves made it too hard for skim boarding, but the sand was great and not too crowded.
CHEFTIMP — Google review
One of the things in my bucket list is watching Sunset from Naples beach. Today we were able to fulfil It in this park. The sand is White, soft and has shells. The water is green, which is different from what we usually see, But still very clear. The parking is 5 dollars per hour, not too bad but the parking space is limited. We couldn't find parking in the beginning and was about to head out and Luckily We saw an empty spot by the exit.
D I — Google review
Lowdermilk Park in Naples is the perfect spot to watch the sunset! The beach is clean, peaceful. Beach was crowded, but still plenty of parking and easy access make it a great choice. We came for the sunset and it did not disappoint—absolutely stunning!
Giuseppe P — Google review
Lowdermilk Park is a lovely beach in Naples, Florida. The sand is incredibly white and the water is crystal clear—perfect for a calm and peaceful day. It has a very family-friendly atmosphere, with facilities like showers and changing rooms, a small restaurant, and beach chair and umbrella rentals. You can also bring your own gear if you prefer. Parking is available at $5 per hour. The only downside at the moment is that there’s some construction going on nearby, so you might hear some noise from the building work. Other than that, it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beach!
Ricardina D — Google review
The beach is great the bathrooms are OK. It has showers. I took 1 star because the parking cost is ridiculous 5$ an hour? Also not many spots, always a line to park 'if lucky'. That is crazy!
Eddy V — Google review
Beautiful Naples Beach Park with shaded concession area, chair/umbrella rentals, family friendly with play area and volleyball. Great place to spend a Naples beach day.

Nestled just a stone's throw from downtown, the Conservancy of Southwest Florida is a wildlife conservation center that offers an engaging blend of nature exhibits and hands-on learning programs for children. This gem not only provides boat tours to explore the stunning local ecosystems but also features an indoor learning area perfect for rainy days. Families can dive into educational experiences about native animals and their habitats while enjoying interactive displays.
We had an amazing day at the Conservancy of South West Florida in July. The woman at the front desk who sold us the tickets was really nice and helpful. We took a boat trip up the Gordon River and it was amazing. Our boat captain was really knowledgeable about the area and had a lot of experience. We really learned a lot from him! After the boat trip we stopped at the Education Centre. This is an amazing place for children and adults to learn about Florida's nature, animals and ecosystem. There was also a small presentation for the children outside. I highly recommend this place for the education and the boat ride!
Nele J — Google review
My experience at the Conservancy of South West Florida was absolutely amazing! The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and cool. They made my visit with my young kids an unforgettable experience. The facilities were perfect for moms with young kids, with plenty of interactive exhibits and hands-on activities for the little ones. The story times on Thursdays at 10am were out of this world. The staff did an incredible job of engaging the kids with fun and educational stories about nature and wildlife. It was a great way to spark a love for reading and learning in my children. The boat ride in the Gordon River was a great adventure for all the little explorers. The kids were able to see all kinds of wildlife and learn about the importance of conservation and protecting our natural resources. It was an eye-opening experience for them and a great way to get them excited about nature. Overall, I can't say enough good things about the Conservancy of South West Florida. It's the perfect place for families to learn, explore, and have fun together. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and educational experience for their kids.

This place is a real treasure, beautiful and full of great learning opportunities! It’s perfect for kids, with fun activities and field trips for schools, camps, and community groups. They do an awesome job caring for animals in need, especially through their emergency room. You’ll also find educational talks and community outreach events happening often. Plus, they’ve teamed up with a bunch of local organizations, which really brings the whole area together!
Lydia H — Google review
The place was great for a day trip visit. There is enough to do for a few hours. Bathrooms were clean, which is a plus. It's probably a great place to take kids. The staff was very nice and they have a nice little gift shop. There are interactive exhibits that are clean and very new looking.

Visiting the Conservancy of Southwest Florida was such a fantastic experience! The staff was super friendly, easy to talk to, and really knew their stuff. They made our day with the kids extra special, definitely a memory we’ll hold on to. The place is set up perfectly for families, especially moms with little ones in tow. Lots of hands-on exhibits and fun activities kept the kiddos entertained from start to finish!

Great job of volunteers and workers in all areas, helpful, nice, patience with kids....We really had fantastic day! Awesome and free eco-tour in the Gordon river. Very well trained guide , the boat captain, very nice and fun . Kids really enjoyed it.

This is a great place to visit with kids! We were so pleasantly surprised with the exhibits. They were professional, informative, interactive and fun for kids and adults. There is even a great touch tank and a virtual encounter with and alligator, bear and panther! Every volunteer we came into contact with was knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. The price of admission (very reasonable) also includes a 45 min electric boat ride which was relaxing and informative. Highly recommend this place!

Naples Depot Museum, housed in a restored train station, delves into the region's transportation history. It showcases how railroads played a pivotal role in transforming Naples from a small village to a bustling tourist destination. The museum features exhibits displaying various modes of transportation, including Seminole artifacts, swamp buggies, and vintage rail cars. Visitors can also experience the arrival of the 1927 Orange Blossom Special train through a captivating movie shown at regular intervals.
This was the first place my family decided to go on our trip to Naples. It's self guided but has a lot of informative signs and labels everywhere. We loved the various displays and the train cars that were out back. It's air conditioned right through, even the train outside, so it was very comfortable and we took our time to soak everything in. I'd definitely recommend coming here! Did I mention that it's free?? Enjoy!
Judi–Ann G — Google review
very nice museum, we spent about an hour and a half here, some very cool items on display including a refurbished rail road dining car from the 1920s. Air conditioned, plenty of parking, bathrooms on site, and near the downtown restaurants and about a block and a half away from the trolley 🚎. It was free to enter!
Juan R — Google review
A vety surprising museum with high quality exhibits. There are some "standard" artifacts but the displays are well designed and the information is presented in a very accessible way. The conductor office and silver train car are worth the trip for this free museum. Donations accepted, and worth a few bucks at the least.
Nick U — Google review
Lots of displays and information about trains. The diorama was extremely impressive. So much detail! It was also really cool being able to go into the full-sized train in the back. The gal at the front was super friendly and nice. When we came here, they happened to be having a Lionel train event as well and that just added to the experience.
SueMarie K — Google review
Excellent presentation of the history of transportation for Naples. Includes beautifully restored passenger rail car and it's 1947 iteration. It really will give you an idea of the span of history and how many people it took to make what we have today.

Very interesting place that is free admission, learn all about SWF/Naples train history both passenger and freight as well as the history of Naples from the Indian tribes dating back 8000 B.C up to modern day. I was here several years ago and it was fun then to.

If you're searching for a delightful family outing in Naples, look no further than Coral Cay Adventure Golf. This enchanting mini-golf destination is nestled near downtown Naples and boasts a lush, tropical atmosphere complete with cascading waterfalls, mysterious caves, and serene ponds. With two beautifully designed 18-hole courses that cater to players of all ages and skill levels, Coral Cay Adventure Golf promises an engaging experience for everyone.
Great place to come and enjoy some putt putt! We had 4 people and played 18 holes plus the extra 18 holes on the second course for 80 bucks. The location has a great lay out and full of fun waterfalls and special decorative elements. The walkways are tight and do have steps so if anyone has any mobility issues it could be a little challenging to walk around but aside from that it’s a great course and I recommend checking it out!

Fun courses w/ interesting holes. They had 3 bonus holes on each course ( holes in 1 on bonus hole gets a free round ) They also offer ice cream bars w/ and indoor sitting area *apply bug spray before playing ( lots of water nearby for mosquitoes ) ( thankfully they had some bug spray on hand & let us use it ))

Cool Minigolf, loved the decoration. The holes are pretty simple, I’m used to more challenging courses. Could be a bit tougher. Bit I guess for children perfect.

Fun course! There are two different courses for a total of 36 holes. If you get a hole in one on one of the secret holes you get a free round so remember to ask when you finish your first round (if you got a hole in one)

Really fun and well kept course! Quick putting practice during lunch time. Can’t put in real golf but I’ll take one under par here. Now officially a tour pro 😝 thanks!

Very scenic. My son got 3 holes in one on the caves course in one game. I think he might have cheated, hard to say. My daughter thinks he did. It was very hot when we were there, don't forget your water, hydration is key. Watch your step. We met a lizard there and we named it Timothy Chalamander. Would recommend.

Coral Cove Mini Golf in Naples, FL, was a disappointing experience. The course was dirty, with bugs crawling on everything, making us rush through just to get out. The courses are poorly maintained, and after the daily rain, retrieving your ball meant reaching into murky water. Additionally, it was very pricey—we paid $70 for two rounds of 18 holes for four people. While the staff was kind and accommodating, I can't recommend this place based on the cleanliness and price.

Nestled just eight miles north of Naples, Clam Pass Park is a tranquil oasis that beautifully showcases the region's natural beauty. Spanning 35 acres, this park features a scenic 1.8-mile boardwalk that meanders through lush mangrove forests filled with diverse plant and wildlife. As you stroll along the path, you'll eventually be greeted by a stunning stretch of white-sand beach where you can unwind at a charming beach bar—perfect for sipping cocktails while watching the sunset.
Beautiful clear beach with a sand bar. Water is warm, small waves. Requires a mile walk on a boardwalk or a free ride on a golf cart. Restaurant and patio at beach available to all. Clean bathrooms.

Really really great place to catch a sunset! The shuttle is a really nice amenity and the shuttle driver was the absolute BEST... Just the nicest friendliest man. I had a really hard time finding information on how much a chair or umbrella would cost, I tried calling, tried looking on the website. I ended up just going and hoping for the best .... For those wondering it's $50 for a single chair and umbrella. I think that's the flat price. Which if you go in the morning and use it all day is probably reasonable.... If you go 3 hours before sunset.... It can be a painful pricetag to swallow. There's a lot of pictures out there showing white sands and turquoise blue water at this location .... Just remember that it's the ocean and it changes. When I went it was dookie brown and you couldn't see your feet in ankle deep water. This location is also pretty popular so be prepared for a little crowding right off the main pier where the restaurant and bathrooms are. There's plenty of space if you're willing to walk down the beach some. I would say my overall experience was really nice.... However I think in the future I might try to find a cheaper option.

Beautiful beach. Need an umbrella tho as no shade. No seaweed. Free trolley from cAr park to beach. Otherwise a 20 mins walk under loads of spiders!! We only had an esim so couldnt use the text 2 park facility. We asked a local and they kindly did the transaction for us on their app. 10 dollars to park. Should be some other facility to pay online.rather than text.

Great beach spot with restaurant and cabana bar. Free carts to beach. Keep in mind returning on the carts from the beach back to the parking lot can get very long towards the end of the day, plan accordingly or be prepared to walk about 15 minutes.

Clam Pass Park is a large mangrove forest surrounding several small bays with a beach extending along the gulf side. A three-quarter mile boardwalk winds through the mangroves from the parking lot to the beach. My wife and I spent the better part of a day there: we swam in the gulf, looked at plants and spiders along the boardwalk (signs explain what to see), and watched the sunset from the deck of the cafe (look for the green flash). A large sandbar a few yards off the shore allow safe swimming. Food, cocktails, and restrooms are available. Free trams are available to those who do not want to walk the boardwalk, but please show your appreciation by tipping the driver.

Tin City Waterfront Shops is a charming nautical marketplace located near Fifth Avenue in Naples. With over 40 unique boutiques and eateries, it offers a diverse shopping and dining experience. Visitors can enjoy seafood restaurants with views of Naples Bay, as well as quaint waterside shops offering gifts, artwork, and apparel. The area exudes a nostalgic 70s vibe and is perfect for family-friendly casual shopping.
If you go to Tin City around Naples, Florida don't forget the Tin City Sunset Cruise. Our boat had a wonderful crew. I probably will not spell the names correctly. Captain Josh, Brax and Michaela were very friendly and attentive. As you cruise the waterway, you will see many beautiful homes. Captain Josh was very informative about the homes with the addition of some much appreciated humor thrown in. At a certain point, the microphone needed to be turned off. Brax on the upper deck and Michaela on the lower deck picked up where Captain Josh left off. Close to sunset, we headed to the Gulf. We cruised around the Gulf until the sun was setting. Brax asked if any passengers on the upper deck needed him to make pictures of them with their friends and or family with the sun setting in the background. What a beautiful view being on the water and watching the changing colors of sunset. I will caution you to bring a jacket. After the sun sets it is a little chilly on the water and the ride back to the dock.

5/5 – Like a marketplace blessed by the gods of vacation. Tun City Waterfront Shops isn’t just a shopping spot – it’s a coastal bazaar on holiday mode level 99. Nestled between swaying palms and ocean breeze, you stroll through charming little shops that feel more like treasure chests than stores. Great selection, no tourist-trap vibes, and snacks to keep you questing. Even the grumpiest barbarian would trade his axe for flip-flops here.

Tin City in Naples is pure coastal bliss! This charming waterfront spot on the Cocohatchee River buzzes with eclectic shops, galleries, and eateries that capture the essence of Old Florida with a trendy twist. We wandered through the historic tin-roofed buildings, popping into boutiques for unique souvenirs and art that screamed beachy elegance. Grabbed fresh seafood at Riverwalk at Tin City – the grouper sandwich was flaky perfection, and the sunset views over the marina were unbeatable. The vibe is laid-back yet lively, with live music drifting from the decks and boats bobbing gently nearby. It’s family-friendly, romantic, or solo-adventurer ready. We’ve made it a ritual stop on every Naples trip – fresh oysters, craft brews, and that salty air never get old. If you’re in town, don’t miss this hidden gem; it’s the heart of Naples’ quirky soul!
Dimi K — Google review
Always a nice place to wander through. Friendly staff in all of the shops. Wide selection of things, from tee shirt's to jewelry. A nice wine shop with samples. Good restaurants on the water. The shops are expanding down the street with more places to eat and drink. Parking can be tough near the shops but there is a lot a short walk away.

Lots of shops and beautiful art from local artists. Ice cream shop, fudge, monkey bread and more. Ate at Pincher's. Great food and drinks.

I walked around with a stroller. There are 3 buildings. You could get in and out of the buildings with no issues since they are wraps. But a lot of the actual shops do not have a ramp to enter and leave so I was limited walking into stores to shop around. It would be nice if they advertise or had something in there to let patrons know.

Rail museum
The Naples Train Museum, located in the original Naples Train Depot, reopened in October 2023 after a year-long closure. The museum showcases the transformation of Naples from a village to a Gulf Coast retreat through interactive exhibits and features an outdoor pint-size railroad replica with steam and diesel locomotives for children to ride. Visitors can enjoy watching scenic train displays in action, including 'Thomas the Tank Engine,' as well as pushing buttons to interact with circus and park accessories.
We had an amazing time at this local train museum! Our boys loved playing inside with the model trains and exploring the interactive exhibits. The highlight was definitely the outdoor train ride—it was super fun and such a memorable experience for the whole family. What made the visit even more special were the incredible volunteers. They were so kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable, making us feel right at home. Their passion for trains really shines through! If you're looking for a fun and educational outing, especially with kids, this museum is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

The Naples Train Museum was an absolute blast! It was so refreshing to find somewhere where all of the workers/volunteers are clearly there because they are passionate about making people smile! It would be a great place to take kids but equally as fun as adults without kids! We got to play with the trains inside, tour the old train cars and ride the train around the building! Totally worth the money!! Can’t wait to go back!

Fantastic combo model train museum and outdoor kids train. Volunteers are super friendly and welcoming, making this experience not to be missed for train fans! Bonus points that you can push the buttons to activate many of the models on the train set. Thank you to the volunteers for keeping this wonderful experience going.

The train layout is interactive and impressive, the volunteers are knowledgeable and helpful. The outdoor ride on miniature train is fun to ride on for all ages. It will be an even better comprehensive experience when the adjoining Collier County Museum reopens.

GREAT for kids. Minimal ticket prices, and kids get to ride the train as much as they want without new tickets. My kids could have gone around all day.

Great activity for kids. The volunteers are so friendly and great with kids. The train ride outside is fun. It goes around the parking lot, takes only a few minutes. Ride as many times as you’d like. The inside is interactive and fun, however it’s small. I can get about an hour out of my 2 year old when we visit. I wish it was open more days of the week!

My 3 year old loved this place, we spent an hour and a half and he was still in tears when we left. Everyone was so friendly, great experience. Theres a small train running around the parking lot, 2 train cars open to explore, and then a model train inside with all the buttons to push. Its connected to the Naples train museum which is still closed following the last hurricane, but this museum is open Fri/Sat 10-2.

Very fun museum if you like older and unique cars. A wide variety of Porsche’s. Some very early cars to look at. I would highly recommend one of the tours. We did the one hour tour with Tom and it was fantastic. He gave so much great and interesting information. The gift shop is a little small and can get crammed after all of the tours and with a lot of people in there. Other than that, a very great experience. The staff we interacted with were all great.

A stunning collection of cars - old and new! Very nice that one can get up close to the cars as there are no ropes to keep visitors back. The staff are a mine of information I have been here many times. They have an open hood day every now again when the hoods of some of the cards are open/removed to showcase the engines. Well worth a visit - good place for a rainy day!

I recently completed the RevsEd Simple Automotive Maintenance class at the Revs Institute, taught by Mike and Ian, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The hands-on class was perfect for beginners—informative and relaxed. The instructors were great at explaining things in simple terms, making even basic car maintenance feel fun. We learned useful skills like checking fluids, changing a tire and tire safety, changing fuses, and much more. The atmosphere was friendly and encouraging, and you could tell the instructors truly enjoy teaching and sharing their expertise. I highly recommend this class. It’s a great blend of learning and fun, and a wonderful way to experience Revs Institute’s passion for automobiles up close! 🚗👏

Staying in the area at a RV Park as part of our three week trip around FL. A visit to the REVS Institute was a planned stop. It was $20 per person but in our opinion well worth it. If you have any interest in automobiles, this is a must stop. Plenty of volunteers available to answer questions and you can sign up for a guided tour. Nice gift shop, restrooms on 1st and 2nd floor but none on the 3rd. Really enjoyed our time here and they had no issues with my Service Dog who enjoyed the cool air. If you are in the area, highly recommend stopping here for a visit.

There are about 120 cars in this huge 80000 square foot venue in Naples. The cars are in pristine condition and are historically significant. There is a focus on racing cars and the museum provides a real cultural experience on the history of the automobile. There is a large exhibit featuring dozens of rare Porsches and a collection of beautiful hood ornaments. The docents and guides are very friendly and knowledgeable. A self tour will take about 2 hours. Tickets can only be purchased online and the museum is open three days a week. The museum has been ranked in the top five in the U.S. I will return the next time I’m in Naples. I highly recommend this museum.

The PROS: Sweeney Todd was magnificent the lead is an amazing talent as was the entire cast in orchestra. The theater is beautiful! The CON: No cash??!! First of all its legal tender how do you not accept cash? Secondly some people can only dealing cash for a variety of reasons. How embarrassing to already make our selections and have our drinks poured and we're holding up the line and annoying other people because I only have cash. No warning that I saw anywhere. If I didn't known about that before I bought the tickets I probably would not have come! And those poor ladies behind the counter having to tell us no cash when that is all I had or ever will have. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we haven't been able to attend the shows since Ian nearly killed us. Pity because we love the shows but, a no cash policy will keep us from returning....

Naples Beach is a picturesque seven-mile stretch of white sand along the turquoise Gulf of Mexico, offering a serene atmosphere and a fishing pier. The iconic Naples Pier, originally built in 1888 and extending 1,000 feet into the ocean, is a favorite spot for fishing enthusiasts and sunset admirers. The beach features amenities such as volleyball courts, picnic tables, parking, restrooms, showers, and even free children's life jackets.
we are road tripping in Florida since two weeks and it was the most beautiful beach we saw there were no algae’s and the sunset was so beautiful. The water was warm. It was not really refreshing but still really, really beautiful. I can only recommend the speech and we also saw turtle nests. I loved this beach.

Naples Beach is one of those places that feels like a postcard come to life. The sunsets are absolutely stunning — fiery oranges and pinks melting into the Gulf. Whether you’re watching from the iconic Naples Pier or just sitting in the sand, it’s one of the most peaceful ways to end a day. The beach itself is clean, wide, and perfect for long walks. One of the best parts? The incredible variety of seashells scattered along the shoreline. You’ll find everything from tiny colorful spirals to big, perfectly intact conchs. It’s a shell-hunter’s dream. It can get a bit busy during peak season, but there’s usually enough space to find your own quiet spot. Calm water, soft sand, and some of the best sunset views in Florida — can’t really go wrong.
Sid — Google review
This beach is a true gem 🌴 Soft white sand, calm water, and a peaceful atmosphere, not crowded at all. You can even find free street parking nearby, and restaurants and shops are within walking distance. What a great way to spend the day! ☀️🏖️
Glenn G — Google review
First impression: epic. But woe to the barefoot adventurer venturing into the waves – the shell trap at the shoreline is real. The sea was raging today, like a furious water elemental on a bad day. Entering the water felt like a Constitution check against pain – sharp shells and broken crustaceans made every step a challenge without shoes. Scattered all over the sand were mysterious files (possibly the remains of a drowned bureaucracy golem?) and in the center of it all: one massive dead fish, looking like it just failed its final saving throw. And still? Awesome. Wild. Untamed. Just how a beach should be sometimes. If you’re a paladin looking for perfection, maybe come back tomorrow. Today was for bards with tragic ballads in their repertoire.

It's Free to everyone ! Great place to take your family. I would get there right at 10:00 AM for lap swimming.

I was in the pool and the lightning alarm went off nearby, then the alarm, I went to the bathrooms place to change with everyone, but the staff had locked the bathrooms, me and the visitors to the pool completely wet were deprived of a place to change, a disgrace, lack of courtesy, we were like 20 or 15 people, terrible service

Place is perfect for stepping away from the beach and crowds. We brought our two year old here because she loves to splash around and swim. Warm water and nice splash pad, and free!

Great place for kids and adults. They have a little kids section. They also have 1 water slide. They have lanes to do laps and a 4ft deep section as well. And it's free!

The Collier Museum at Government Center is a historical museum in Southwest Florida that offers interactive exhibits suitable for the whole family. Visitors can explore indoor displays featuring early settlers and American Indian artifacts, as well as outdoor exhibits including an old train and tour boat. The museum provides insights into the Calusa Indian civilization, prehistoric hunters, and the Seminole people's journey.
The staff is super welcoming and full of great information. The collections are spread out across small houses on the property, which makes it feel like you’re walking through someone’s private estate from another time. There’s such a cool variety of things to see—from a steam engine and boat to a tractor, military tank, art studios, and forts. It’s perfect for kids, with plenty to keep them entertained, plus they host fun interactive events for children in one of the houses each month. I really loved the collection that dives into Naples' history with old magazines and photography—it felt like stepping back in time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the train and Sherman tank were really cool. The day was perfect, and the shade was nice to sit in. Very cozy museum with a very rich history. Great for kids, families and singles. Be sure to have a good joke ready for Bev. She is AWESOME!!

Great museum. Bigger than it seems and it has lots of variety throughout the several buildings to explore. Beautiful landscaping that is a joy to walk around. My family and I enjoy coming here a few times a year. The staff is very welcoming to children and they host a variety of shows and programs for the community.

Absolutely loved this museum! It's impeccably set up with engaging exhibits that are both educational and visually stunning. The flow from one section to the next is seamless, making the visit enjoyable and informative. A must-visit for anyone interested in Collier County history. The staff here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made my visit even more enjoyable.

Free museum (donations accepted and personally encouraged) that is more than worth a visit. Great displays (though the darkness of some displays cause glare in photos) with some pretty special artifacts of Florida Naples History. The Trophy Room is amazing. The cats roaming the grounds are pretty chill but don't want you to come too close, so give them space and they'll just hang out.

With the option to hop on and off all day, visitors can also learn about Naples' history during the tour. Guests have praised the knowledgeable and enthusiastic guides who provided valuable insights into local attractions, dining spots, and hidden gems. The tours are not only informative but also entertaining, with guides sharing trivia, jokes, and fascinating facts about the city.
I am a resident at Naples Florida and I recommended to all that comes And visit this town. The Naples trolley takes you yo all the best hotels in town, Steven explained to us the history at Naples. Takes you to the best places To shop, dinning and the mansions which are just amazing. Drive by the best beaches we have

I cannot recommend this for the quality of the tour or the lack of flexibility of their Hop On, Hop Off option. We road to The Ritz and exited for lunch at 11:15, we asked the driver if it was doable in an hour and he indicated it was but recommended we call for exact pick up since they "track the buses". When we called upon leaving we were told 12:17 which was the scheduled time. We asked if he could call the bus to wait in case we were held up for two to three minutes. He indicated they have no way of contacting the bus. Apparetly they do not have mobile phones. We hustled to the pick up spot and waited for five minutes, called again. We were told it would be there in another five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, no bus. I called, was put on hold and cut off. After waiting, we decided to Uber to our car and chalk this up to a bad experience. The tour consisted of a pre recorded description of numerous commercial sites with not much additional insight. You will receive the same quality tour by getting their map, and driving yourself around.

Though, coming from Europe, Naples doesn’t have much to say about history or architecture, it compensates for beaches and seaside places… I totally recommend the tour, for the enthusiasm of the driver and the stories about the place heard from locals!

Enjoyable tour of Naples with friendly driver who retired in Naples and used to live in upstate New York. Very informative with local history and nice visit in old style bus made for an interesting attraction and a desire to visit Naples again in the future as this was our first visit there. Our tour was on August 5, 2019

Great way to experience downtown naples. You have the ability to hop on and off as many times as you want. The trolley picks up at each location approximately every hour. Trolley runs from approximately 9am-5pm. For $29 per person.
Ivan B — Google review
The general experience and ability to see what Naples has to offer is good for new visitors. However, the overall ride was a little sluggish—perhaps due to the exposure to the hot weather—and the driver's comedy was a little passive aggressive. Bottled water was offered, which was nice. For the price of the tour, though, the return was minimal. Overall, I would recommend this tour for new visitors to Naples who enjoy bus tours.

Naples Segway & Trike Tours offer a delightful way to explore the city's key attractions. With knowledgeable guides leading the way, visitors can effortlessly glide through popular spots like Cambier Park, Naples Pier, and Third Street South. The well-maintained Segways make for a smooth and enjoyable experience, even for beginners. Guests appreciate the friendly and patient guides who ensure everyone is comfortable with using the Segways before embarking on the tour.
Cannot rate this tour highly enough. Chris our tour guide gave us a really good safety practice and could see to start I was a little unsure of the segway. He offered to tow me if at any time I felt worried about the terrain. We did the first tour of the day which was great for a beginner as traffic was light as were the sidewalks. Chris was passionate about the area and extremely knowledgeable about Naples. After we reached the half way point started to get more confident on the segway and we stopped off at the pier to take some photos. This is a fun thing to do in Naples and you’ll learn a lot!
Deb F — Google review
Chris was a fantastic tour guide! Very knowledge about the Naples and surrounding area, also very funny too. I was nervous to ride the segway, but with initial instruction and a promise we wouldn’t start until I was comfortable, I found it very easy! Chris kept the pace to whatever my boyfriend and I were comfortable with and constantly checked back on us to make sure we took turns or potholes alright and could go on. We could stop for pictures if we wanted to and he helped us get on and off the segways when we did stop at the Naples pier. He told us to take some time on the beach and come back when we were ready, which was very refreshing! We saw some beautiful neighborhoods, learned about the history of the canals and historic buildings, learned about the wildlife and nature, and had a fun time guessing the value of some of the properties. The tour was fantastic and we will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking for something fun to do in Naples!

Segway of Naples tour was a lot of fun. Our tour guide Chris was a lot of fun and made the lesson of learning how to ride the Segway very easy. The whole time was interesting and funny. We would definitely go again and recommend this tour. We have now done the Everglades and Segway tours with them and they are an amazing company and experience

Fantastic experience! Rode segways with my 70+ year old father and teenage kids and everyone had a great experience! Chris was a great guide - very knowledgeable and friendly. Had a nice break down at the pier to rest our legs and it was another highlight! We all felt comfortable on the segways after Chris spent a good amount of time instructing us and working with each person individually- we all felt safe! Would highly recommend without reservation!

I have been in Naples many times and my family and I have taken different tours through Naples but the Segway one was really nice. Karl was a great guide and very knowledgeable. We had two 12 year old kids with us and Karl made sure both kids were very comfortable with the Segways. The tour went along the ocean to the downtown section along the millionaire road (nice homes) to the city pier walk for a small break and then about 30 minutes back. It was a really great way of seeing Naples and have a great time with the Segways. I really can recommend it for families, Karl was super great with his directions and instructions. He showed us many historical places. If you are tired of the traditional tours, this is something I only can recommend, around 2 hours of fun.

The tour guide Taylor was friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly complemented the tour with fascinating insights about Naples, making the journey through various neighborhoods and past the iconic Naples Pier even more enjoyable. This tour truly is a unique and engaging way to explore Naples. We covered much more ground than we could have on foot and experienced the city in a way like never before. Whether you're a local or a tourist, this tour provides a refreshing perspective on Naples. Don't miss this opportunity to see the city in all its glory on a Segway!

This review is for the Marco Island Segway tour. Google does not have a listing but it is a short drive from the Naples location and under management of the same proprietors. The Segway tour was a laid back, fun tour. Our tour guide was Kaitlyn and she showed us some of the Island’s unique wild life. Her knowledge of the history and night spots gave us a great lay of the Island. If you are searching for the hidden local beach bum havens, where if you like, you can get a most delicious Pina Colada.... you found the perfect excursion to start it off. The Island isn’t a Key West, but it possesses great relaxing charm. The Island sports some of the Gulfs best beaches. The Segways were in good condition and easy to maneuver. Highly recommended.

This dog-friendly natural island is a paradise for beach lovers and the only public beach in the region where dogs are allowed to roam freely.
Buddy and myself went out here today. 100% cool place. Gets busy on weekends. They have food boats. Park your boat. Take out a chair and chill. Walk down the pathway to the gulf of Mexico and experience a beach great for shelling or just relaxing. Not busy at all today on a Tuesday. Buddy brought his drone. Posted 2 cool shots of the island. While the layout of the bar; food trucks and tables are cute; we were a larger group on this past Saturday afternoon. We all had the same takeaways; the was a pretty constant bad sewer smell at the bar; just kind of dirty with napkins and straws on the ground. The amount of bees around the bar flying into rum and syrup bottles was pretty gross. Service was a bit indifferent; not super friendly. Food was good but again we were attacked by bees and left after an hour or so.

There are plenty of seating areas, so you can buy and eat there or take it home. There is also fresh produce, it is a little small, but you can buy tomatoes, apples, pears, watermelons, melons, pepper, potatoes, etc. I've been to different markets in Naples. This one is the best.

It's a great way to spend a Saturday morning. See you there next time! Mike Brna.

Very nice market. Grab a coffee at Tony's on 3rd, or a beignet, and stroll the market for seafood, paella, fruits and vegetables, and live music. The market seems to be more and more "pet friendly" every time I visit. I know I will sound cranky by saying this but too many owners walk with their pets down the middle of the farmers market with their leash stretched out 10 ft, seemingly unaware of the roadblock they're creating for the people. The market has expanded a bit and includes more esoteric providers such as micro greens, dried morels, and specific botanicals and energy drinks and supplements.

Guests also have the chance to explore the island, collect shells, and take a refreshing dip in the water.
My mom, sister and I went on a Naples Sightseeing Tour/Shelling Experience and had a delightful time. I didn’t know what to expect and wasn’t super optimistic that it would be a fun experience, but I was so wrong! Captain Chris and Luke were knowledgeable, funny and thorough. We were able to see a lot of wildlife: birds, bald eagles, dolphins and lizards. We stopped each time we saw something cool so everyone could take a look and enjoy it. We also were able to see very cool waterfront properties. The island was full of shells and we were able to be very selective with what we wanted to collect. We were even able to look at a book of shells on the way back to discover how common or rare the shells were found are. Overall it was a very cool experience and I am so glad we went. It would be great for kids, but all ages can enjoy!

Gordon River Greenway Park is a stunning 140-acre park that offers an exceptional outdoor experience for visitors. The park features a network of trails that meander through mangroves, wetlands, and forests, providing the perfect setting for a peaceful walk or a leisurely bike ride. With wooden boardwalks and concrete paths, the park offers a pleasant stroll without mud even after heavy rain.
A nice place to get a good walk/ bike... wasn't crowded which made for a good hike.. be sure you bring water as depending on how far you want to walk it could be up to 7miles.. some pretty walking areas .. the bridge is really scenic. ( heads up""; There is a single women & men bathroom, the women's was pretty dirty but at least had toilet paper) if you want to picnic there is picnic tables at the entrance to walk..
TF F — Google review
In the mornings of the last few days, I took the opportunity to walk through Gordon River Greenway Park, where I was in contact with nature that was anything but wild, as I didn't see any alligators there, except for a few lizards sunbathing. It's the perfect place for those looking to exercise with good infrastructure.

Well marked and we'll kept. Part boardwalk, part concrete. On hot days make sure you take fluids. Is connected to other trails as well. We've taken this hike several times on our visit to Naples.
Steve R — Google review
Nice hidden gem on wilderness and hiking/biking trails. Wide boardwalk or paved section as well as some dirt trails. Being able to hear the monkeys and lions at the zoo really add a neat feel. There is a decent parking lot and bathrooms at the north trail head, as well as many dog poop stations along the way
Scott B — Google review
If you're looking for a "hike" or a "walk in the woods", this really isn't it, but it is a very nice path through a lot of vegetation. Since it had rained 3-1/2" yesterday, I needed a good long walk that was not in mud, and this trail/path is all either boardwalk or concrete, both nice and wide, so it was perfect. It's in a city park, and you hear all kinds of road noise and even airplane noise from the nearby airport, but you don't see any houses or other man-made things. well, except for the boardwalk. Extremely busy on this Saturday afternoon, lots of dog walkers, runners, bicyclists, even a guy on rollerblades. Even though the parking lot was full (and there's lots of parking spots), I didn't feel overcrowded along the trail. At the parking lot at the loop side of the trail there are restrooms, not sure if there's any at the other end at the straightaway, I did not look. Remember to bring bug spray, water, sunscreen, and a hat! The park is open 6:30 AM to 10 PM, and there are lots of lights along the path, so I think it would be kind of cool to go there in the evening. I would suggest starting at the loop end, because the long straightaway is kind of obnoxious monotonous, even though I had no expectations of great scenery or animals so I was glad to see something different on the last part of my walk. No wildlife, that I saw, except for several skink/lizard type things. So, really not a "hike" but a great place to get some exercise if you can't get out of the city. Oh, also, I felt like I was being baked alive even with the good breeze at 80° today. So plan accordingly -vdon't go at 2 o'clock on hot day !

Nature & Parks
Freedom Park, located in Naples, Florida, spans 50 acres and offers a serene escape within the city. The park features a wooden boardwalk that winds through restored wetlands, lakes, and viewing platforms. It is situated near the intersection of Golden Gate Parkway and Goodlette-Frank Road, close to the Coastland Center Mall. Visitors can explore a 12.5-acre conservation area in the eastern part of the park and enjoy a 3,500-foot boardwalk extending to this area.
I love this park! Plenty of walking on a combination of concrete paths and boardwalks that meander around and across several ponds created for ecological purposes. I saw birds, fish, rabbits and a squirrel but other people that day saw alligators, snakes and other critters. I also really appreciate that leashed dogs are allowed. It would be a great location for sunset photos.

The park was very nice with nice well kept trails. The trails ranged from concrete, dirt, and boardwalk. There were plenty of observation decks looking out over the marshes. Fishing is allowed at the park. Saw plenty of Florida birds, snakes, and fish. The only downfall is there are no garbage cans throughout the park so there was quite a bit of trash along the trails and in the marshes.

Beautiful American flag stone monument. This monument is to pay tribute To one of America’s most horrific terrorist attacks in American history,(9/11). This monument is surrounded by brick walkways with fallen heroes names and other people who have lost their lives. Beautifully round stone, cutting of each of the 50 states. This monument is set at freedom Park surrounded by nature preserves with ponds, walk ways, picnic tables, clean bathrooms working water fountains. Amazing lizards alligators turtles, catfish. Beautiful butterflies, dragonflies all sorts of birds. If you’re in the area visiting or happen to live, here is a great place to go

I went to freedom park looking for a good place to get out and go for a walk. It had a great memorial flag and fountain with a building with a washroom. They have water filters there with refrigeration available so the water is cold. They have boardwalk, paved pathways and maintenance people cutting the lawn and keeping up the property. The paths are relatively short but you can go in loops endlessly. 45 minutes to an hour and you can discover everything this place has to offer.

Fantastic spot with plenty of parking and easy access. The boardwalk offers stunning views, and there are several walking paths to explore. Perfect for all ages to enjoy a peaceful and scenic stroll!

Absolutely love the nature, the peace, quiet, serenity and solace. I am mourning the loss of my 13yearold dog. Freedom Park gives me great comfort❤️‍🩹🙏

A favorite little park because then I didn’t have to try to cross Golden Gate Blvd. at the intersection of Road. Now as of 3/21/25 human powered cyclists 50 even 60 year-old bicycles are excluded from freedom park and must be walked through the park. There’s no minimum or maximum speed limit nor any science post about yielding by pedestrian or recycle, but there are two laminated right now I believe three laminated signs or someone to computer and some cardboard and decided to make signs and laminate them and post them around. I’m attempting to identify and obtain a copy of the Collier County commissions or Parks and Recreation notice and opportunity to be heard. It’s probably the same group of people that took the fluoride out of the water in town that also put a 80 year old retiree from Ohio now a freshly minted old FL iguana hunter with a 50 caliber air gun out in the woods to let them shoot iguanas and stop a guy like me from riding his bike 5 miles an hour on the sidewalk. Cool. Next time you hear people like Rick Scott or Byron Donald or or any other Saunders or Rick LoCastro or any of the rest of these freedom loving red blooded Americans SM if they could fix this problem and I suppose I have to get President Trump involved to declare martial law to get it done. They’re too focused on building out Everglades wetlands with Pulte homes and the rest of the groups. They have cocktail parties with at Coconut point Hyatt, where they identify the mangroves in islands. They want to develop next also. Funny and sad to watch as an Native American, whose grandpa came over here in the 50s and even late 40s to fish and then by property.Good luck, Collier.

The best Collier County Park for walking and nature views. Elevated wooden boardwalks meander through the Royal Palms and large cypress. A separated paved loop trail wraps around several lakes. An interpretive center and restrooms are near the entry parking lot. Take a short walk and visit the 9-11 Freedom Memorial. Must see park, and best of all it is free.

Embark on a two-hour tour aboard the Sweet Liberty Catamaran departing from downtown Naples, cruising along the Gregory River into the Gulf of Mexico. Experience a breathtaking Southwest Florida sunset as the engines go off and the sails go up. The crew provides top-notch service, ensuring a memorable experience whether it's for a private charter or a group outing. Guests can bring their own food and snacks while enjoying friendly and informative staff who are happy to capture moments with photos.
Such a beautiful cruise with a lovely crew! We were on our honeymoon and everyone was so nice and made us feel special. Highly recommend for a sunset!
Sarah O — Google review
A family friend recommended this while in Naples for our honeymoon - The catamaran was very smooth on the water and was open enough for stunning views. The captain points out interesting real estate along the waterfront. The sunset was beautiful over the bay and we even saw a pod of dolphins. With the sail up we had the opportunity to steer the vessel and had great photo opportunities along the way. It was also great being able to bring a cooler, others brought snacks which was a nice idea. Great experience overall and glad we did it.
Stephanie M — Google review
This is the best scenic boat tour in Naples! The catamaran is very clean and well -maintained, several comfortable seat options, the captain and crew are friendly and knowledgeable offering an excellent narrated tour without being excessive or disturbing the peace of the sail once you get out to the Gulf. This is our 3rd time on Sweet Liberty and it is the best activity to bring one's guests on.
Robin G — Google review
Highly recommend. Relaxed and well organized outing. Knowledgeable and friendly but professional captain and mate. Went with a group of friends for a morning outing. Will definitely rebook when friends and family come to town.
Sharon N — Google review
What an awesome experience. The captain and first mate were amazing. They handed out tattoos to the kids, baggies to collect shells. They took their time giving a tour as we went out and came back. They took extra time for us to see the dolphins as we returned. There was plenty of space on the boat with spots of shade and in the sun too. We had an absolutely wonderful time and all 8 of us in our party recommended it 10 out of 10!

An amazing sunset cruise in Naples Florida. The staff are super friendly and very informative. Don't be disappointed if you don’t get to sit outside. You can set up inside and walk about outside when you leave the harbour. The staff took photos which is always greatly appreciated. You can take your own food and snacks. I would highly recommend this trip.

The Audubon Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is a protected wetlands area that features a scenic boardwalk trail and an observation tower, offering visitors the opportunity to observe native wildlife in its natural habitat. This private park provides great information about the early Florida conservationists who helped establish and maintain the sanctuary.
This was a really great hike, and a beautiful area in general. It's all boardwalk so it's not a difficult walk at all. Definitely worth the visit. The trees and vegetation were amazing in their own right, but of course the wildlife steals the show. We were able to see alligators, a raccoon, a spoonbill and tons of other standing water birds, hawk, owl, and many others. I would highly recommend taking the time.
Adam F — Google review
This place is an absolute must see for anyone who likes the outdoors, especially if you are a birder. The swamp is amazing and it is so cool to get to see an old growth forest like this. The trail is very well kept. There are lots of activities that they offer. When we went it wasn't too crowded. Go early if you're visiting outside of the winter months to avoid the heat.
Jack G — Google review
My first time at this beautiful place. I will be back. Lovely two mile boardwalk with gorgeous views and very friendly people that work there! Have a nice gift shop, clean bathrooms and I got water and snacks as well for the walk. Very accessible for strollers and wheelchairs. Highly recommended checking out this wonderful preserve! Take your time and listen to Nature!
Tom W — Google review
This place is gorgeous. The boardwalk is in great shape. There is a lot of shade so we were comfortable despite the Florida sun and heat. If you really want to take your time, you could easily spend about 3 hours at this place. We didn't see as much wildlife as we had hoped for but then we were on a tight time schedule. Even so just the relaxing nature of the place and the beauty made it worthwhile. If I had anything negative to say, I feel the $17 per person is a bit much for a place like this.
Just J — Google review
Must see. We were lucky enough to experience the low water levels when there were hundreds of birds and Gators in the same area. Went back 10 days later and the water was almost gone and still had Gators and a few birds, but this enabled us to look for other things and we found owls swamp raccoons and a beautiful hockey gave us a show. Place is simply lovely. And if you want to be efficient, Take the shortcut or walk it backwards....we had amazing time both visits. All staff beyond helpful. And i do not claim to be a photographer and took these pix without any intentions or goals, just let it flow so apologies for the amateur photos...no way they do this place justice!!
Mike G — Google review
Great experience even with the fact it was dry due to the weather. Lovely trail with lots to look at whilst you try to spot some wildlife. All team members were friendly and gave us some great pointers of what to look for where on the trail. We were lucky to spend a few minutes observing a raccoon going about this daily business. There were a few people on the trail who were louder than needed so worth making sure to take your time and be quiet to ensure you don’t scare the wildlife.
Emma L — Google review
One of the most beautiful sanctuaries I've been to in FL. I loved the boardwalk along the entire place allowing nature to be untouched by the visitors. Most of the walk is covered by beautiful cypress trees, we saw an owl, a snake and several beautiful birds. Definitely recommend to visit and enjoy this magical place.
Karin A — Google review
Corkscrew swamp is an amazing place. No matter what time of year you’re there, there’s a lot to see. The bird life here is great, and in the winter it’s a little easier to spot certain things because the plants are a little bit smaller and less obstructive. There’s good birds year-round, but especially in the spring and fall. Lately, I always seem to be here in the middle of winter.

Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is a serene Gulf beach that attracts many visitors for snorkeling, swimming and relaxation. It offers the perfect combination of state park and beach experience with parking available for a day rate of $6 (before 11am). The beach is clean and not too crowded, making it ideal for families with children. Visitors can also grill out in designated areas and enjoy the beautiful shells found on the shore.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 One of the best beaches in Florida! Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park is an absolute gem. The beach is stunning—powdery white sand, clear turquoise water, and peaceful surroundings. It’s the perfect place to relax, swim, and enjoy nature. We saw dolphins just off the shore and found so many beautiful shells along the beach. Even after the hurricane damage, the park is clean and well maintained, with friendly staff and easy parking. It’s quiet, never overcrowded, and a great spot to unwind. Highly recommend bringing a chair, umbrella, and snacks for a perfect beach day. I’ll definitely be back!

Great beaches! The park was damaged by a hurricane impact but it’s open. It has 4 parking slots. The fee is $6 per car including 2 or more passengers. You can pay via a QR code available or site or following an honors systems where you deposit cash on a blue envelope, deposit the envelope on a mail-like box and show the slip on the front window of your car. The beach is great, white sand and tranquil waters. In summer it usually rains in the afternoon so make sure you’re here early. Only missing a good facility with restrooms and showers, hope it happens soon.

Please visit this beautiful Park to help with the monetary rebuilding it will take to bring it back to its full glory. Beautiful views, soft sand, great water, and for kids the waves are more mild and not so strong. Take beautiful pictures and videos as you enjoy what my Granddaughters call a "sundowner" at sunset !!! You also can find and see aquatic life here if you are patient. We used to go early in the morning right after sun up and sometimes saw manatees, schools of different rays and or fish.
Matthew M — Google review
This is a great place to hang out at the beach. Parking is easy and only six dollars for a car and they have a QR code so you can pay with a credit card. The walk to the beach is short and the beach wasn’t very crowded when we went on a Wednesday. Plenty of shells if you want to go, Shelling and the water is beautiful if you want to just hang out in the water. We saw a pod of dolphins that swam right by us while we were standing in the water and we saw three manta rays that literally swam under us while we were floating on our inner tubes.
Chris J — Google review
Probably our favorite spot in the Naples area. Plenty of parking, yes you must pay $6 a day for a single vehicle. There is a QR code on the signs. The security was friendly & drove around the beach. I liked it here & found it relaxing, wished they opened earlier as I enjoy morning walks with my coffee. Plenty of room to find a spot that isn’t crowded even on a busier day. May have to walk some for it, but worth it.
Krissy D — Google review
Nearly 3 years after Hurricane Ian, the beach sand that washed pushed across the park is still visible in the trees, and the roads are still broken. The beach is still amazing, and the sunsets are awesome. Lots of parking and a nearby bus stop and drop off area.
Sarah C — Google review
Beautiful beach to spend a few hours and see the sunset. There is not good connection service with AT&T. The road needs maintenance urgent. There are not trash cans. No restrooms close to the beach just at the entrance pf the park. Parking fee $6 per vehicle with 2-6 visitors, 1 visitor $4 all day until sunset
Diana V — Google review
This beach is a slice of paradise! We were here in August and it was pristine. Not crowded and very natural. There are no amenities but pack your own cooler and you will be fine! Also, this is a Carrie and Carrie out Beech so you must take your trash with you. I will dare to say it’s one of the most beautiful beaches I’ve ever been on in my life.

Sun-N-Fun Lagoon is a family-friendly water park with various attractions such as waterslides, a lazy river, kids' play areas, and diving pools. Visitors recommend arriving early to secure good seating and avoid long lines. The park offers amenities like food trucks and vending machines, with the food trucks near the front being particularly popular.
Surf N Fun Lagoon in Naples is a fun little spot that really delivers for the price. For just $13, you get access to five big water slides, a lazy river, a pool, and even a diving platform to practice your jumps. It is a perfect place to bring the kids for a few hours of water fun without breaking the bank. The atmosphere is relaxed and family friendly, with plenty of seating available so you are not scrambling for a spot. Everything felt safe and well maintained. We had a great time here and it was well worth the visit. If you are in the Naples area and looking for something casual and affordable to do with kids, this is a great choice. We will definitely be back next time we are in town.
Miguel A — Google review
Overall, we had a good experience at the park on a Saturday! We got there at 10:30am right after they opened and waited in line for maybe 10 minutes. The line quickly grew so get there early for the best seating. We were able to find some spots in the shade. The best part was the pool in the middle. This place is not great for toddlers who are in between being itty babies for the baby pool and not tall enough for the slides. We mainly hung out in the middle pool and it was fun, but crowded. The lazy river is really hot in the summer as it’s super shallow and you do have a wait for a tube. I liked that this wasn’t super expensive and that they have food trucks out front (they do allow you to bring that food in). I might give it another shot with it being $13 for adults and free for kids 3 and under.
Hannah ( — Google review
A great, affordable local waterpark within the NCRP. The slides, pools and lazy river are fun and well kept. The biggest issue each year is the inconsistent hours. Sometimes they open on weekends, sometimes they don’t. While they’re typically open during the summer, they close once the public school year begins. It would be great to see a designated homeschool day during the week or even weekend hours throughout the school year. After all, the weather here is warm enough for a pool day at least 9 months out of the year! Another area for improvement is food availability. Vendors are almost nonexistent at times. If full vendors aren’t possible, even adding vending machines with snacks and drinks would make a big difference.

An Unforgettable Day of Fun for the Whole Family! My family and I had an absolute blast at Sun-N-Fun Lagoon! This place is massive, and we were so impressed by the variety of things to do. There really is something for everyone. The older kids had a total blast on the diving boards, and my wife and I had such a relaxing time just floating along the lazy river. We visited on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't crowded at all—there were plenty of seats and shady spots available in every area, which made for a stress-free day. The facilities were top-notch: large, clean, and well-maintained, and there was a ton of parking, so getting in and out was a breeze. As a bonus, one of our favorite parks in all of Florida, Can U Dig It, is right next door, so you can easily make it a full day of fun! We can't wait to go back.

Pretty nice park. My son loves the lazy River and it’s affordable. It seems like an odd choice to have no vending of any kind inside of the park. There’s food trucks in the parking lot which is fine but there is otherwise no way to get even just a bottle of water. There are bottle fillers next to the bathrooms, but the water comes out warm once the sun starts to hit that area.

Wonderful time spent with my kiddos the nap we are going to take now is all I could hope for! Super budget friendly as well!

Super nice little park. We came in an overcasted day and it was quiet and enjoyable. It has a lazy river, diving boards a beach pool for toddlers, a pool, a lap pool, and 5 slides. You can spend all day here, but outside food and drinks aren't allow. They have food trucks outside, which are quite affordable.

MUCH more exciting than Great Wolf lodge. Especially for the price. Sun n fun, $30 for my family. Great Wolf, $300. Only issues is there's no lockers or place to purchase food or drinks within the facility. They do have food trucks outside. But they are extremely overpriced. And one of the trucks prices don't match when you pay. They over charge. (Note I understand they are not a part of sun n fun)

The Golisano Children's Museum of Naples offers numerous exhibits designed for children to learn through play. The museum features a store that sells toys, snacks, and puzzles. There are various activities available for kids to enjoy such as fishing rods and shopping carts, however it was suggested that more of these items should be added inside along with an indoor eating area. Although the outdoor water play is closed during rain, it is recommended that a permanent canopy be installed for year-round use.
We had a wonderful time for our first time today! We actually got in free for the Blue Star Families, which was an added perk to going inside to beat the heat. It was clean and I loved how there are workers resetting the play areas as kids play so it didn’t feel like we were policing them to keep certain toys in certain areas.
J H — Google review
We really enjoyed this museum! Lots of fun and interactive things for the kids to do. My children are 5 & 7 and they had a blast! The pretend Publix is so cute. Only knocking down a star because of cleanliness and price. There were quite a few dirty exhibits, toys, and floors were not clean at all. We are thankfully part of a children’s museum program so we got “half off”, it was still $50 for a family of 4.

This was a really cute museum. I thought it was a bit pricey for adults. Inside they had basically everything was hands on and interactive. Super market, kitchen , fishing for plushies , trains , treehouse , outdoor water play , coloring / painting stations. It was very nice. You will spend many hours there. I recommend for a fun day with your kids.

This is an amazing children's museum! I have a 5 year old and it kept her entertained for hours. Staff members move around the entire building, cleaning and keeping everything today and in the correct places. There is a firefighter area and a pet adoption area on the second level. The outdoor area is perfect for the water play area. Then there are interactive areas, including a bee hive, chicken coop, gracoery store, restraunt, and a swamp area. The students are all engaged and learning. There is an art station which had a few different options to create art. I recommend this museum with anyone with young children.

This place is perfect for the little ones. Hard part is showing them the reat of the place once they get a hold of the Mock Publix supermarket. Very clean and the staff/volunteers are all over the place making ensuring the kids are safe and if you need help. Plenty of parking too. A+

We love the Children’s Museum! Plenty of different exhibits that encourage children to use their imagination. Their outside space is up-kept and provides kids with ample space to run around, play at the water station, and even put on shows in the amphitheater. They hold wonderful events for their members, which we hope to take advantage of more this year! It’s also a great place to host your child’s birthday party!

This place was fun, but not what it used to be at all. So many things my kids loved were in need of maintenance badly. The tree that you put leaves in not working was disappointing, and there was not much new. The craft was just okay, a lot of things just need repair or attention. Collier-Seminole State Park covers 7,271 acres and features rare palm trees and a historic dredge. The park offers camping, hiking, paddling, and biking opportunities. Visitors can explore the 1924 Bay City Walking Dredge, a National Historic Mechanical Engineering Landmark. The Royal Palm Hammock Trail is a popular 0.9-mile hike through a hardwood hammock with abundant birdlife.
This park is perfect for a quiet getaway, as it is peaceful throughout the park. The boat launch area is a pretty little water area. It's just 20 minutes from Marco Island, so very close. While we didn’t spot any wildlife, the historic dredge was cool to see and informative. Campsites, however, are close together in the 2nd loop. As of right now, there is a burn ban in place, so be sure to double-check the rules before lighting any open flames. Also, the mosquitoes got quite bad at night, so come prepared with bug spray. Some parts of the park (like its trails) and the office are closed currently due to hurricane damage. Overall, it's a lovely park and we enjoyed our stay.

Really nice park! Very big with a lot to do. We are camping in our RV, which there is plenty of space for our 40' fifth wheel. Only complaint about the site is that there isn't sewer hook ups at all the sites, but there are 2 bath houses just a few steps away in either direction. We love the park, but the mosquitoes use this place as a buffet 🤣 seriously, don't go outside without your favorite bug spary, unless you really love giving back to nature lol The marina is massive, with tons of parking and plenty of room for navigating around with larger vessels. Through playground, which is on the smaller side still offers a range of different areas for the kids to play. The best part is there is a bathroom right next to the playground!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon in late December 2024. There was no one at the gate but remember to pay your entry fee. We visited for our excursion with Go Cats On The Water but there was a park ranger driving around on a golf cart asking folks for their park receipt or proof of payment. We arrived a little early so we explored a bit before we headed to the marina area. We stopped at the Bay City Walking Dredge which was really cool. There was a large black snake we're sure basking and trying to take in some of the heat. We didn't really have much time to explore much else but 100% recommend doing the Go Cats On The Water. They also had kayak rentals there. I wouldn't mind doing that either. You get to go through the mangrove trails out into the Ten Thousand Islands area. They offered 2 tours a shorter eco tour and a longer extended one where you go out onto an island and have food. Sadly we were afraid we wouldn't have time so we did the shorter tour. Our tour guide, Russ, was amazing! He definitely wanted to make sure we were all having an amazing time. The Go Cats weren't too hard to drive. You get a lot of practice turning through the mangroves before you get to the more open areas. It was 100% worth the cost. We also booked our trip months in advance. It looked like they were fully book for our afternoon. I think our kids said this was the best activity we did on our entire 2 week winter break trip. Russ did mention that they were getting ready to move out of the park and would be based somewhere further north near Naples. Unfortunately with the other launch point there wouldn't be the maze of mangroves like they did here in Collier-Seminole State Park. We didn't see much wildlife but the activity itself of driving the Go Cats was amazing and the scenery couldn't be beat going through the mangrove mazes. We also didn't notice too many mosquitos but that may also have to do with the time of year we visited. We would definitely need to visit the park again to explore the other options.

i love this campground! it's a very beautiful place and the campsites are secluded fairly well. unfortunately, the trails were closed due to the recent hurricanes, Milton and Helene. so, that left us with not much to do active-wise. still a beautiful place to walk around with some cool tidbits of history. we would love to come here often, however, you must book far in advance as everything is always taken. the ranger also informed us that no one will be on site to answer phones past 3:30pm so i hope that helps someone out. overall, we had a good time!
Bailey J — Google review
Wonderful state park if you’re camping, otherwise not to much to do as their one trail was closed due to impact from Hurricane Helene. I love how the tent campers have their own loop for the most part, which was a new experience for us (particularly in the winter months). Recommend sites 8 and 11, we enjoyed both sites. close enough to the bathroom without feeling like you’re on top of them.

The slides are awesome and they let you jump off the high dive! Lifeguards are attentive, amiable, and safe without being overly cautious and shutting down children having safe fun. A great time for a ridiculously low price in my book.

Beautiful park. Great trail for walks. Gas station across the street for water needs.

Additionally, the park boasts a playground with ample shade provided by majestic trees and a pavilion containing picnic tables. Nestled within its peaceful ambiance is a picturesque lake where ducks gracefully swim. Pelican Bay is truly a gem of a community, offering an unmatched combination of luxury, cleanliness, and warmth. From the moment you enter, it’s clear that this place is special. Every street is impeccably maintained, with lush landscaping and spotless sidewalks that exude a sense of care and pride. Small and beautiful park located near Vanderbilt beach. Features a semi outdated playground, a wide array of tennis courts and a view of a lake. Doesn’t get very busy even during the weekend so perfect place if you want a calm vibe. Definitely recommend this park to anyone who loves parks and loves lakes!
Michael K — Google review
Great place to walk your pups a couple times around the trail that goes along the pond, behind some houses, and along the field. There's ample parking, basketball courts, tennis courts, field for soccer/football/etc, and restrooms.
Cynthia M — Google review
Lovely, beautiful park with a pond, benches, and ducks. It is very peaceful. The playground is nice and shaded by large trees with a pavilion with picnic tables. There are fantastic tennis courts as well with bathrooms close to the tennis courts. There are also basketball courts. Everything is kept up beautifully.

Great fields and facilities. Nice walking path too

Cute little community park tucked out of the way. Lots of tennis courts that see tons of action, baseball field, racquetball courts, basketball, sand volleyball, playground and a lake with walking path. Very enjoyable place for a visit

Lovely park. Great place to have a picnic or just take in the scenery. Big playground for the kids too. The sound of pickleball is a little annoying though.

North Collier Regional Park Soccer Fields is a recreational facility boasting a vast and contemporary water park, sports pitches, and walking trails. Situated in North Collier County, this marvelous park features numerous soccer fields, softball facilities, a playground, and a nature boardwalk. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the water park and children's museum; however, these attractions require an entrance fee.
A wonderful, large park in North Collier with many soccer fields and softball, playground, nature boardwalk as well as a water park and a children's museum (last two require an entrance fee). A magnificent place to relax and be active. Lots of free parking, easy to access.
Peter S — Google review
Great fields for soccer and baseball or softball. They also have a water park which was closed when we were there-might have been the hours though or that we were there for a soccer tournament. The bathrooms were a bit dirty and some stalls didn’t close because the door locks were broken. But they had TP and soap (although soap was low and some dispensers were out). Very wheelchair accessible, the only problem I saw was that the access from the fields to the sidewalks had a clay connection and when it rains it gets really goopy and gross, footwear and wheelchair operators would get very dirty after a rain. However, the fields themselves were nice, parking was free, many people had to park along the street so it wasn’t laid out well for a major tournament but for a smaller one it was ok.
Dr. G — Google review
We live 20 minutes away from this park, and we come with frequency. There is a nature walk that includes a boardwalk portion and a paved portion. The boardwalk portion goes through a Cypress swamp, which then transitions into a slash pine Forest. This path is popular for family walks, joggers, and roller skating. The community center has a large gym with indoor basketball court and other amenities. You can find bathrooms in there. There are also large soccer fields on the North end of the park. The playground within the park is called "Can U Dig It". It includes a shaded portion where kids can dig for archeological artifacts, or simply bring digging toys. It's a great retreat from the summer heat or on light raining days. The playground also includes large rocks for climbing, and two shaded play areas for kids of different ages. There are multiple picnic pavilions for anyone to use, unless they are reserved for parties.
Rosanna M — Google review
Awesome place to bring kids. My son loves the 'Dig-it' area, has Canadian Coral Rock to dig in with manmade artifacts to find buried. The Sun and Fun Lagoon is part of the complex (a admission fee is required). We will continue to return here.

Excellent play ground for little ones! Shaded by canopies; and great fun for the kiddos! Love the covered picnic tables as well

Best soccer fields lakes walking path and sun splash and a children's museum all in one area Great place
Ryan B — Google review
We really love this park. It's much more expansive than I think many people realize. It's got an indoor exhibit hall, where you can also take care of getting your county parking stickers or renting pavilions at parks for parties. It has a fitness complex, fields for soccer and softball, a nature/walking path, a water park (called Sun-N-Fun, with an awesome lazy river), and a terrific children's play area. Parent's can relax because the area is enclosed, but open enough for the kids to have lots of fun. There are all sorts of jungle gym things to do, plus the "Can You Dig It" fossil dig. They've got some percussive instruments to play with that even adults find irresistible. There are a number of pavilions there, and if those are all taken the dig it area is also covered. The gym areas have protection from the sun as well. The only parts of the kids area that does not have protection is the swings, which we parents don't understand, but it's still a great park. They have all sorts of activities, classes and camps all year round. A simple search should get you to the county web site where you can find the latest listings of things to do. Oh, and let's not forget that the C'mon Children's Museum is in this same huge area of fun. It's fantastic for the younger kids!
Lynne H — Google review
Parking and restrooms are very close to fields. Soccer fields are nice. Lots of bleacher seating as well as tables. Bathroom door had a sign to flush toilet and wipe off after use. What???? Yes to flushing but not wiping off toilet. Stalls were out of toilet paper and there wasn't any soap or hand sanitizer.

Do it! We had a stellar visit. The animals were wonderful and the education second to none. The feeding was special and once in a lifetime on the VIP tour. Highly recommended by our entire group
Dan M — Google review
We went here the other weekend because they were having an event and we wanted to support them because I think animal preserves like this are pretty neat. Unfortunately, it was like the stuff was not ready for their event at all. We arrived a few minutes before 4 o’clock, which was when the event was supposed to start. And it was like people are running around and not prepared for the influx of people that they were about to get. I think we were the first two people to show up. The person who greeted us was actually very friendly, excited, and nice. She didn’t ask us for our entry fee or anything nothing was ready to go. She just told us to wait somewhere and someone would come up to us. I asked to go to the bathroom because we drove an hour to get there and of course I had to go to the bathroom. They’re only bathroom is inside the house. And while it didn’t bother me, there was a dog in there and he was a big Matt up, which is fine. He was fine enough but a little bit worrisome because he definitely was not really OK with someone coming in there. I feel like if I’m allowed to go in there and there’s a dog in there. Someone who knew that dog should’ve came in with me and made sure that he was OK. If their bathroom is not public, then that should really be known at the beginning. It’s not a place where you’re gonna spend less than an hour so I feel like they probably should have some sort of porta potty or something if the bathroom is not really for public use. I would fine with this because I’m fine with dogs even large dogs and he was OK but he wasn’t like great About the whole thing. The parking was not clear and it really wasn’t clear what we were supposed to do. There were signs that said wait after you parked and someone would come up to you. I’d say that the areas are not like superduper well maintained, but they’re not abhorrent either. They sent us up with a gal who clearly did not want to be giving tours. She did preface our tour with that. She hadn’t done one in a long time and she doesn’t know everything. I had to remind her a few times that she should be talking to us instead of away from us. I have a hard time hearing, and if she doesn’t face me then I don’t always understand what people are saying. She was very nervous, which is fine. I can deal with that. But it made it a little bit unenjoyable. She seemed like she was in pain. To be honest, which probably made it not very fun for her. They had us wait for a while before we even started because they weren’t ready, which is fine. Somethings weren’t marked at all. There were some new admitted critters that didn’t have a sign and she didn’t know the story behind them. They get horrible vibes or anything, but I didn’t get great vibes either. I’m not sure I would come back. I think it was intended that people get a private tour. But they actually didn’t make sure everyone paid or was properly admitted into the preserve. I think overall because they weren’t prepared and they weren’t organized that it was kind of detrimental to the overall experience of this particular event. It may be better to go on a non-event day if possible. There was some cool interactions like the little lemurs. She was making some noises and I didn’t really know that they made noises and that was cute. There was an alligator that you were allowed to go into his enclosure with his owner. His owner claim to be friends with the late Steve Irwin. I don’t know how believable that is, but, he swore that this alligator would never bite. And wow that would’ve been an interesting experience maybe in a small group. There was a large gathering of people and it was just kind of nerve-racking instead of interesting. Anyway, there’s not really sure over my whole experience. It was just an OK experience and really not what I expected. I am unsure if I’ll go again.

We had booked a trip and had accidentally showed up this morning at 9 am thinking we had a tour. It ended up as the best tour day ever!! Marcia showed up and told us they were actually closed, but she offered to give us a tour anyway. She did a GREAT job and we appreciated her showing us around SO much!! All of the animals were extremely well taken care of and were cool to see super up close. Jim showed up later in the tour and showed us Bubba the alligator which was great. He was super knowledgeable about Bubba and alligators. Overall, it was a great day and a special thank you to Marcia for showing us around when she could’ve just turned us away. Thanks again Marcia!!!

We had a great time here. The animals are well cared for and interactive. You can tell the animals are well loved. It was educational. My teens loved it and all the other kids loved it too.

Had a fantastic experience! We booked a private tour and the time went by so fast.
Victoria M — Google review
I’d love to give this place more stars, esp so the animals can continue to receive funding, but man it was rough. The big cat enclosures were devastatingly small. Animals, specifically the tigers, pacing back and forth looking extremely agitated. If you’re looking for a tour where you’re required to stand still and silent, then this is the place for you. I do not recommend going here with young children though. We went as a large group with many kids aged 0-10 and were scolded multiple times. Inquisitive children were shushed, and toddlers being told to stand in one place for long durations. John was pretty rough around the edges, even with the moms who asked questions. The lecture on plastic was also a bit much.
Kelsey D — Google review
This is wonderful place to see these beautiful animals being so well cared for. John was full of wonderful information that even our little grandchildren could understand the importance of caring for the people and animals of our world. 🌎

Sugden Regional Park offers a large lake and a freshwater beach spanning 60 acres, providing ample space for recreational activities. Visitors can enjoy paddle boats, walking paths, and picnic areas throughout the park's various sections. There is a playground for children, an open field where concerts take place, and multiple beach areas with volleyball and sailboats. A 1-mile loop around the lake and preserve offers a scenic walk, while spectator seats along the lake suggest water sport events might be held there.
Love coming here for a walk around the lake. The trail’s got a good mix of sun and shade, and there’s always plenty of parking. Nice little playground for the kids, clean restrooms, and some docks to check out the view. Lots of birds around too.

This park is absolutely beautiful and well worth a visit. I had been curious about it since the water in my yard connects to the lake, and I wanted to see where I’d end up if I went kayaking. There’s plenty of parking, along with a playground and nice beach areas. It’s a great spot to relax and explore!

Absolutely beautiful scenery. The beach is very nice and filled with snail shells. My dog loved walking along the shores of the lake. This is a fantastic place to go for a run and do a lap around the water. We came here many times, it’s free!

This is a great park to enjoy walking around the large lake. The trail is nice to walk with partial sun and shade, excellent parking, playground, restroom, docks, birds and overall scenery around the lake. My husband enjoys fishing in the lake and the canal behind the lake.

Neat park focused on watersports. Sailing, kayaking, and adaptive water-skiing area . Nice beach area and swimming at own risk. Pavilions and piers around the lake as well as walking trail. 1 large playground and 1 smaller one. Central located restrooms. Butterfly garden.
Scott B — Google review
Great place to have a family day. You can go swimming, have a bbq, take a walk along the trail, ride on boats, play sports, they have also put in this beautiful butterfly area and it's so relaxing to sit there and read a book and watch the butterflies fly around you. There are bears in the area now. So be careful with little children.
Heather S — Google review
Where do I even start... This is definitely the BEST park I’ve been in my entire life... and believe me when I say this because I’ve been to so many different parks but this one... This park is truly PERFECT! Starting with the 62 acres in TOTAL this park covers.. It really is the perfect park to go for a jog, a walk, spend some time outside and admire nature... In one side, it has like an “artificial beach” where you can go and swim in the lake but the feeling is just exactly like being on a beach because of the palm tress and sand that’s around... And for jogging, it really is the perfect place for it. If I lived near here, I would definitely come here 4 days a week AT LEAST! It’s totally WORTH visiting this amazing park!
