Specialty Museums
Munch Museum in Oslo houses over 26,000 works of art by Munch along with his personal effects and tools. The city also offers a plethora of attractions including the National Gallery, smaller cafes, restaurants, and bars with live music such as Bare Jazz and Cafe Sor. Additionally, Oslo boasts various theaters like Nationaltheatret and Folketeatret where performances are usually in Norwegian.
I came here with my mum and we had a lovely time. You are not allowed to bring backpacks into the gallery, but there are lockers at the entrance where you can securely store them whilst enjoying the exhibitions. I thought the layouts of the exhibitions were great and there was an interesting story told through the art and additional artifacts. The cafe in the lobby serves lovely coffee and baked goods and the top floor bar is a must for fantastic views over the Opera and surrounding area. The only negative we experienced was the price we had to pay for an umbrella in the gift shop when the weather unexpectedly turned wet.

Visited Munch Museum on a Saturday evening — luckily it’s open til late! The place is calm and beautifully designed, not too crowded, so it’s nice to just wander around and take it slow. The artworks are cool (of course The Scream!), and the view from the top floor is amazing. If you want to see all three versions of The Scream, you’ll need around two hours — they rotate the displays, so you won’t see them all at once. Totally worth taking your time though. A lovely spot to spend a quiet evening in Oslo. 🎨🌙
Fon C — Google review
I visited the old one a few times but The new Munch in Oslo feels like a living tribute to Edvard Munch’s restless spirit. The building itself leans over the fjord like it’s daring you to step inside—and once you do, the spaces give his work room to breathe and hit you in the chest. Seeing The Scream in rotation is powerful, but honestly, it’s the quieter works and the way the light falls in the galleries that stay with you. And when you need a pause, the rooftop bar and restaurant are worth the climb—floor-to-ceiling views of the city and water, cocktails that feel almost as artful as the paintings. It’s one of those museums where the experience stretches beyond the canvas, into the architecture, the food, the skyline.
Bulu ( — Google review
A modern and spacious Munch museum with a vast collection of his work. I have discovered an unknown to me side of his artistic journey. There is one floor that guides you through his home, showcasing his possessions. The way it is designed is quite interesting. Finally, the view from the top floor over the city is great.
Joanna — Google review
A fantastic Munch gallery full of awesome arts and many interesting works! The building itself is a very architectural fascination and provide absolutely gorgeous view of Oslo fjord. Multiple levels full of arts from Munch and other artists. Surprisingly there were also many interactive art you can get a hands-on with like making your own painting from wooden crafting or exploring Munch's house with a special characters! The three scream paintings display at half an hour interval each so you might need more than a couple hours to go through all the displays. Gift shop at the ground floor also have many cool little gifts you can buy to take home. There is a locker room with bathrooms close to the entrance you can store your bags for free. However the staff weren't very consistent about what size of bag you can have with you. We had a small backpack with us that was smaller than some of the other handbags people took inside while we couldn't bring ours bag in. Definitely one of my top favourite places we visited in Oslo!
Penny G — Google review
The Munch Museum in the Barcode district is spectacular. The architecture of the building inside and out is really impressive and the views from the top floor, you can see Oslo city and the small islands dotted around. There is three floors with an escalator to each to see all his art work and on the ground floor is lockers for your bags before entering and a lovely cafe with indoor and outdoor sitting on the water.
Sarah B — Google review
Really nice place with impressive paintings and a dreamy city view on the 12th floor. Especially want to say thank you to a warm-hearted gentleman staff who help me find my passport back. I accidentally lost my passport on the 12th without even noticing. Thankfully, the gentleman find the passport and he check around on different floors to find owner. It could be a disaster to me if he wasn’t so warm-hearted and helpful. Really unforgettable experience in Oslo.
Zihao S — Google review
An art museum dedicated to Norway iconic artist such as Munch and others. You are come and see all kinds of their art work, their work progression, their actual items that used to be used as well as enjoying the view point from the top of the building. Theres escalator and lift for easily accessible to each level. Its besides the art items theres not many other artifacts items for viewing. Hence if you aren't crazy or interested about art, this museum may not be the place for you

Opera house
Performing arts theater
The Oslo Opera House is a striking and contemporary architectural masterpiece located by the waterfront. It serves as the home to the Norwegian National Opera & Ballet. Designed by Snohetta, it resembles a glacier floating in the Oslofjord and is considered one of Scandinavia's most iconic buildings. The interior can be fully appreciated through guided tours, offering insights into its thoughtful design that reflects Norway's cultural significance and public engagement.
It certainly is one of the most beautiful as well as functional public buildings in any capital city. The design of the Opera house to encourage people to walk along around and on top of them is somewhat of an architectural genius, particularly with it being right on the waterfront. The building certainly seems to have become a tourist and local favourite since its construction within the last decade from memory.
B C — Google review
The Oslo Opera House is truly a masterpiece of modern architecture and one of the most iconic landmarks in the city. The design of the building is breathtaking — with its white marble and glass façade, it looks like it rises straight out of the Oslo Fjord. The sloping roof is unique and inviting, allowing visitors to walk all the way up and enjoy stunning views of the city and the water. Inside, the Opera House is just as impressive. The spacious, light-filled interiors combine elegance with functionality, creating the perfect atmosphere for cultural performances. The use of wood and natural materials adds warmth and harmony, beautifully contrasting with the sleek, modern exterior. It’s not only a place for world-class opera and ballet, but also a public space where everyone can enjoy art, architecture, and the city’s waterfront. The Oslo Opera House is a perfect example of how design can blend beauty, culture, and accessibility. A must-see when visiting Oslo — whether for a performance or simply to experience one of the most stunning architectural landmarks in Scandinavia.
Kalina M — Google review
The Oslo Opera House is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks, located right by the waterfront and within walking distance from Karl Johans Gate and Aker Brygge. Getting there is easy on foot through the harbor promenade. The unique design allows visitors to walk up the sloping roof all the way to the top, where you’re rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the Oslofjord and the city skyline. It’s a must-see spot for anyone exploring Oslo
Khalil B — Google review
This structure is impressive with its unique design that allows visitors to walk up its sloping roof for stunning views of the city and the fjord. Inside, the spaces are modern and inviting, making it a great spot for both performances and casual visits. The acoustics are outstanding, enhancing the experience of any show you might catch here. It's worth noting that the location is quite central, making it an easy stop while exploring Oslo. Whether you're there for a concert or just to take in the architecture, it provides a genuinely enjoyable experience in the heart of the city.
L A — Google review
Walking on the roof gives a great view of the city and the fjord, and the design of the building makes the space feel open and welcoming. A memorable spot to relax, take photos, or just enjoy the atmosphere.
Andrei A — Google review
Beautiful venue! The modern and sleek architecture is flowing, yet angular. Inside, the all wood finish brings warmth and softness. It's a piece of art for the arts! We happened to catch one of the last shows for The Day After Yesterday and it was amazing! Awesome performers and choreography. If you get a chance to catch a show here, do so!
Jimmy L — Google review
The Oslo Opera House is an absolute architectural masterpiece! 🌟 The striking white marble design makes it a true landmark, and the fact that you can walk on the roof offers breathtaking panoramic views of the fjord and the city. Inside, the atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, with world-class acoustics and outstanding performances. Whether you come for an opera, a ballet, or simply to admire the building and the scenery, it’s an unforgettable experience. A must-visit in Oslo!

Oslo Cathedral, a 1600s church in Norway, is not only a place for regular services but also hosts royal and state events. It's known for its historical significance and is where the Royal family gets married. The cathedral's surroundings offer opportunities for shopping traditional souvenirs at places like Den Norske Husfliden store.
Nice and sober cathedral. We attended one of the weekly 1 hour organ concerts which was great! A greay way to observe and get a feel for the place.
Brett S — Google review
The cathedral looks quite good a d prayerful at the heart of the city . The paintings are in golden colour which gives quite ornamental look. The roof paintings are very good and very artistic. Free to enter to visit or to pray.
Stanly W — Google review
I recently visited Oslo Cathedral (Oslo Domkirke), and it was one of the highlights of my trip to the city. Located right in the heart of Oslo, the cathedral is not only a place of worship but also a historic landmark that beautifully combines tradition and culture. The architecture is stunning — a mix of brick and stone with a tall, elegant clock tower that dominates the skyline. Stepping inside, you are greeted by a calm and peaceful atmosphere, with beautifully decorated ceilings, stained glass windows, and impressive woodwork. The cathedral is still actively used for services, concerts, and royal ceremonies, which makes the experience even more authentic. What I loved most is its central location. After exploring Karl Johans gate, it was just a short walk to stop by the cathedral and enjoy a quiet moment away from the busy streets. Even if you’re not religious, this place is absolutely worth a visit for its history, architecture, and cultural significance. If you are in Oslo, make sure to include Oslo Cathedral in your itinerary — it’s a perfect blend of history, spirituality, and Norwegian heritage.
Kalina M — Google review
Beautiful cathedral and wonderful free concerts on Friday evening. The girl's choice was beautiful and it's wonderful to see the building quite full of people.
David P — Google review
The church is situated in the city centre and is the seat of the Bishop of Oslo. Oslo Cathedral has been the setting for several royal weddings since Norway gained independence in 1905. The cathedral is the church for the parliament and the royal family, but first and foremost, it is an open church for everyone who seeks it. The life of the cathedral is both busy and quiet. Every day a priest or a deacon leads a worship service in the cathedral. The organists regularly give recitals in the church, and you might also hear one of the cathedral’s choirs rehearsing. We strive to keep the cathedral a welcoming place for visitors from near and far. We offer you a place where you can come as you are, and let your thoughts be carried and lifted up in prayer, either in silence or through music. Blaise Pascal once wrote: “All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone.” A church is not like any other building. People have visited Oslo Cathedral since 1697, in joy and sorrow. People have come to the cathedral to seek the depths of their soul, and the high and holy. While you may not be entirely alone in the church, you are invited to sit down in a quiet place at the heart of Oslo. As you come inside, you will perhaps notice how the light gives life to the stained glass windows. As the stained glass is animated through the light, it is our hope that the art in the church can bring light, solace, inspiration, and reflect God’s glory. We hope that you may find peace and renewed strength for your life through a visit to the cathedral. The church is open every day, and every Friday night. You are welcome to participate in worship and prayer, light a candle, marvel at the ceiling, attend a concert, or just sit still in silence. Services: Monday: Midday prayer at 12 pm
Tuesday: Midday prayer at 12 pm
Wednesday: Sevice with organ recital and communion 12 pm
Thursday: Midday service with communion at 12 pm
Friday: Service with organ recital and communion 5 pm
Sunday: High mass 11 am The Cathedral is open every day: Saturday - Thursday from 10 am - 4 pm. On Friday the opening hours are 4 pm - midnight. Members of all churches and denominations are welcome to join us for the celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion / The Lords Supper). As you enter the Cathedral a guide book is avaliable in English, German and French. Oslo Cathedral is a lutheran church within The Church of Norway.

This was a fun find on our walk. Street food stands with a central bar, plenty of seats in different areas to sit in. Great for families, friends and after work. I really enjoyed the variety of food options. Its a fun space for some food or a drink

In euros, I would say the prices are around 15 and 20. You can order from your table with the QR code, and just go and pick up your dish from the restaurant stand. I ordered from Yoyo and it was absolutely delicious. My friends ordered from other two restaurants and all of them loved it! Is a good option if you are in a friend group and each wants a different thing, I totally recommend :)

Overall a very nice place to visit for lunch, many options and mostly Asian and South American cuisine. Serving is fast but the taste aren’t authentic like it should. Everything is much milder

Really nice atmospheric place with street food stall all over the world. Was bit disappointed that many stalls had sold out when visiting around 19:00...still managed to get food. I had Thai Satay chicken which was very good. Reasonsble prices also. You can get drinks from the bar

Barcode Street Food is a food hall in the heart of the Barcode district in Oslo. There are several restaurants serving street food from all over the world. It is a place where different culinary cultures coexist, from Indian to Mexican, from traditional to vegan. If you want to try alternative cuisines just a few meters away, Barcode Street Food is the right place.

This is my go to when visiting Oslo there is something for everyone the food is amazing and not overly expensive I definitely recommend
Rhiannon A — Google review
My first day is Oslo, a bit weary (not at hangry level but looking to being snippy if messed with) I sought out some refreshments. The smallish hall of food vendors was the challenge I took up. There foods from different parts of the world and an eclectic array of seating options. I chose a Jerk Chicken wrap. It was massive for the price paid and delightfully delicious. I reduced the atmosphere because in a time of murky early winter, there really is no need for the extra dark eating nooks. The colourfully decorated musical instruments hanging from a vine can only liven up the Hall so much.
James N — Google review
Great space to try authentic street food from all around the world. Good ambience and space to thoroughly enjoy your evening here. The food varies from Indian to Greece to Mexican to probably everything. Really loved the seating space designed according to the country theme ambience. The cocktails here are amazing and a must try. An evening would be the perfect time to enjoy the delicacies and the ambience here. Totally recommend everyone to visit the space to try out amazing food dishes from all around the world.

Oslo S, also known as Oslo Central Station, is a historic transportation hub that offers a streamlined set of retail shops, eateries, and lodging. The station features a comprehensive network of travel conveniences including shops, food outlets, restaurants, and specialty stores. It is easy to navigate and provides straightforward connectivity to other modes of transport. Visitors can find train information at various points throughout the platform complex.
Oslo Central Station is the largest and main railway station in Norway. There are multiple entrances and exits and passageways, with trains to domestic and international stops such as Gothenburg. Trains are frequent and run late into the night here. The main hall is spacious with a large information screen. Services aware great and there were tons of restaurants and shops. Trains usually depart on time, but there are not guaranteed.

Nice and practical station - took the AirPort Express train with Flytoget - recommend to book the return ticket which can be used for a rather long period without indicating the day/time
Marco M — Google review
It has train service but what a mess on Sunday. Train lines were cancelled, delayed and had platform change at last minute. At first the notice board showed RE11 is at track 11, when I reached there, there is error msg on the platform notice board. When the crowd was waiting, the notice board on track 12 suddenly showed R11 when it was close to departure time. In train the timing of each stop on notice board was not updated.
Derek L — Google review
In this station you can touch the magic of the beautiful city of Oslo and you can also see everyone who works there smiling. If you intend to go to the airport, know that there are two trains to the same destination. The first one has a cheap ticket and the second train is almost twice as expensive and the difference between them is about 5 minutes. In this station there are designated places so that you can leave your luggage safely and tour the city. It is truly one of the best and cleanest stations in the world.

The acoustics of the main hall were designed with expert consultation, using oak paneling and wave-like surfaces to create world-class sound. The architecture > I love how it lets visitors walk on top of the building, blurring the boundary between structure and nature.
Iryna K — Google review
Gorgeous architecture with impressive views. The building seems symbolic of the surrounding fjords and the beauty of Norway. The steps to the roof are a gradual climb with many places to stop for children or those who need more breaks. It's wonderful to see such a new building be accessible, allowing mist everyone to experience Oslo’s beauty.

Perfect. A little bit early to start an opera at 18.00, but ok. They only have one intermission, sometimes placed well, sometimes not. Great acoustics and seats, a few of them have too little leg room

Visitors can also explore the Scent Garden designed for individuals with visual impairments and wheelchair accessibility. The garden offers a peaceful and calming atmosphere, making it an ideal place to relax and connect with nature. It's recommended for those seeking shade on sunny days or interested in plant and bee spotting.
The botanical garden is a peaceful and serene area for all nature lovers. We visited during a warm spring day and it was just perfect. The garden is very well maintained and offers many various environments. There are three greenhouses that are worth visiting.

I loved it here. Every year, April to September, I’d be looking so much forward to my evening dog walks. It was so peaceful and calming. Now I absolutely hate it as I see all the people and kids sitting on fields where they’re not supposed to, picking flowers that they were not supposed to, while they forbid dogs who were just happy to smell and frolick around. This is such a sad decision.
Tamara S — Google review
It was a very interesting experience. The botanical garden is well maintained, there is a map with all the paths and places to visit. I especially liked the exposition with stones, as well as the greenhouses. There is a cafe on the territory, there are gazebos, as well as a "hotel for insects"
Din E — Google review
This charming free entry Botanical Gardens boasts many local native planes and trees with markers. Beautiful arrangements. I loved the bee b&b that can be seen from online by using the QR code. Easy to walk thru the gardens with pavéd paths. The area is hilly and may be chalking to climb. Accessible restroom in the cafe The Natural History Museum is on the property.

Beautiful gardens, wide variety of different plants and plenty of trees. The actual Museum is at the bottom of the gardens. Outside cafe and toilets. The stones leading up to the entrance are very unique. There is a shop selling all different kinds of merchandise and tickets to the Museum you can buy at the till and enter the museum. It is a really beautiful building and there is a lot to see from precious stones, artwork, dinosaurs, furniture. Great day out for families and children.

Strolling through this beautiful space felt like a breath of fresh air amidst the city's hustle. The collection of plants from various climates was impressive, and the pathways were well-maintained, making it easy to navigate and explore. I particularly enjoyed the tranquility of the hidden corners and the sound of water creating a soothing atmosphere. It's a great spot to take a break, reflect, or even enjoy a casual picnic surrounded by nature. Overall, it was a pleasant experience that offered a nice escape from urban life.

HIMKOK Storgata Destilleri is a renowned cocktail bar known for its sustainability efforts, with over 80% of their ingredients made or distilled in-house. The menu is crafted from recycled plastic trash, and each page is a work of art. The inventive cocktail bar offers fresh and creative drinks, many featuring their homemade spirits. The bartenders take immense pride in their work and are attentive to customers' preferences.
There is a reason why they are #11 on the Best Bar…cool atmosphere, nice staff and great unique drinks! We put our name on the wait list and went inside to order drinks in the roof-type bar section. We had very good Oslo Mules. The cocktail bar though….really curated drinks with unusual flavors. Bartenders/Mixologists/Magicians were super nice and we really enjoyed our time here! The Karsk was my fav with the most perfect ice cube I’ve ever had!

This bar was a trip! We went on recommendation of a friend and did not regret it. We sat inside on a weekday afternoon so didn't have to wait and drinks came quickly. The theme of matching drinks to Norwegian artists is so cool and every drink we had was so intriguing. Get the martini (I forget the name) - the drink is great, but the cheese is next level and earns the former title of best in the world.

Everything about Himkok is 5 stars. The ambiance, music, drinks, bartenders, and service are all top notch. Could not recommend enough. Weather youre a tourist or a local. Stop on for a story and a drink. It won't disappoint.
Matthew G — Google review
I tried a Negroni here and it was super good — really well made and balanced. I also tried a martini that came with a blue cheese-stuffed olive, but I didn’t quite enjoy the taste of that one. The place was quite dark inside, which made the atmosphere feel cozy but also a bit hard to see things. One issue was that I was mistakenly charged for two drinks (530 NOK) After noticing it, I went back and they quickly fixed the bill for me, which I appreciated. Overall, a nice experience with great cocktails, but just be sure to double-check your bill.
Ugo — Google review
It was a love from a first time. Great, cozy and peaceful speakeasy bar. Excellent bartenders, amazing cocktails selection with some really savory ones (it’s so rare), distillery selection and cozy atmosphere. Timeless, worth every penny
Katerina K — Google review
The cocktail didn’t impress me enough, but overall it was nice. They are professional. There is a “waiting bar” outside before you enter this bar, so you can pre-drink a little bit (and if you don’t finish they let you bring your drinks in, too)
Pepper P — Google review
Best Cocktail Bar in Oslo! This is a special place. As stated by others, the entrance is a bit hard to find, think speakeasy NY style. But once you found it and you get in, you will realize how big this is. For the experience we had two cocktail each with my wife just before going for food. Those drinks were amazing, really great and super well mixed and measured. I have to say we tried a few cocktail places in Oslo and this one is by far the best, for the drinks and also the staff. We highly recommend it!

Whether you're visiting during Easter or any other time, this vibrant spot provides ample indoor and outdoor seating for guests to enjoy their meals while soaking up the lively atmosphere. Ordering from various vendors is made convenient through an app, allowing patrons to savor everything from fried pub fare to Asian and Indian dishes.
I had the crispy wontons, some spring rolls, some tacos and some pad Thai. The tacos were my favourite, but the guy on the wonton stand was the coolest server. I wish I could have stayed all day and tried more stuff but I had other things to see. This would be a great venue for a crowd of mates there's loads of seating and a decent bar too.

This spot feels like a vibrant food court with a wide variety of choices to satisfy any craving. We went with tacos from Al Pastor, and they were absolutely delicious. I tried one of each, and the chicken taco stood out as my favorite. These tacos are truly unique, unlike anything you'd typically find in the U.S. While the prices aren’t exactly cheap, the quick service and lively, funky atmosphere make it worth it. It’s a fantastic place to hang out with friends, right in the heart of the city, full of energy and great vibes.

Cool vibe good court with variety of cuisines to choose form. You can sit together and eat different things so it's very flexible. The place was pretty busy when we went at night around 8 pm so we decided to get take away instead of eating in. There are table inside and some outside. I had an Indian butter chicken with nans while my husband got some African rice and beans bowl. The food was hot and tasty and come in a big portion! Definite a great place for meals in the city central.

I had the chicken gyros with fries, pita bread, and tzatziki, and it was absolutely delicious! The chicken was tender and flavorful, the fries were crispy, and the tzatziki was fresh and creamy. Everything was perfectly seasoned one of the best gyros I’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended!

No idea what to expect, I was pleasantly surprised with the place. Bunch of courts with variety of cuisines to choose form. You can sit where you want and if you’re with friends eat at different stands. The place was vibrant and busy when I went at around 8 pm. I would recommend coming here especially with a group of friends, so fun!! I took the plantains and chicken Satay and both were delicious

Our group of 9 came here for lunch. each of us tried a different cuisine. I enjoyed a Pho bowl from one place and sweet potato fries from Fulani. The owner of Fulani and I shared stories about my recent trip to Gus home country of Senegal. He brings the Oslo Strert Food to life with hospitality. The pho was just like the one I tried in Vietnam. The sweet potato fries hot and crispy with steamy inside. So many foods to choose, smash burger, Indian, tacos, burritos, sushi, Greek, noodles, Korean, and of course ice cream and fixings for dessert. Indoor seating with steps to access building. Outdoor covered street on street level We walked later in the evening and the place us completely packed. Lunch time for relaxing vibe and ease to get around. Dinner time for getting to know people

Genuinely such a cozy place to eat! I wish things like this existed in Belgium. Me and my brother ate at the Korean Food stand and the Bibimbap was delicious! Oslo City Shopping Centre is a bustling 5-story shopping hub that offers trendy retailers, a large bookstore, and various dining options. Conveniently located at the heart of Oslo, it is one of the most popular shopping destinations in the city and attracts a large crowd of visitors, especially due to its proximity to Oslo Central Station. The layout and atmosphere are praised for being clean and charming, with a diverse range of stores including clothing outlets, food courts, restaurants, supermarkets, and more.

Oslo City is a beautiful place. As the capital city of Norway, it beams with beauty and culture that suits the Scandinavian country. Transportation is efficient and effective. There are so many hotels and places of interest that attracts the tourist. The hop on hop off buses 🚌 make the city view more interesting. City train run through the day and at night. From my experience, Oslo is a safe city for tourists. I will definitely visit Oslo again in the nearest future.
Adeyinka A — Google review
Oslo City Center Mall is a nice place for a casual visit, with a few clothing stores, cafés, and spots to hang out. However, coming from the Middle East where malls are huge with endless shopping options, I found it quite small with limited variety. What struck me as very unusual was that you actually have to pay to use the restroom 20 NOK per person, with someone sitting there collecting the fee. I’ve never seen anything like this before, especially in a shopping mall. Overall, it’s a decent stop if you’re nearby, but don’t expect a large scale shopping experience.
Sitara — Google review
Oslo City is truly amazing and walking to all the main attractions is so quick and easy. I highly recommend staying in the Barcode district at The Clarion Hotel. Munch Museum two minute walk, lots of restaurants, shops and on the waterfront. Cruise boat around the Fjords in Oslo is a ten minute walk and there is the train station and bus station close by.
Sarah B — Google review
am currently at City Center Shopping Mall and I must say the prices here are extremely high — among the highest I’ve ever seen. Having visited more than 90 countries around the world, I can confidently say that Norway is one of the most expensive places I’ve been to. I wouldn’t recommend it for tourists with a medium budget, as the prices are really sky-high.

Exciting city with lots of activities going on. Take a bike ride around the city or to famous sights. Food selection is great. We even managed to get pork knuckle here! The central station is bakery galore! Walkable city with friendly and helpful Norwegians.
Jen C — Google review
Large shopping mall located near the Oslo central train station and metro station. Easy to access through underground and above ground entrances. A little chaotic, but has a decent amount of variety of shops to explore. The escalator pathways are slightly inconvenient and the AC is very poor. Kind of gets stuffy after a while in here, and doesn’t have too many food places available.

Great place with the best view in Oslo. Our 3 days in Oslo (rain on and off) we stopped here for a beverage, the views, and cool music. Highly recommended, it must be fun in full high season. Service excellent!
Blackie 2 — Google review
I went to SALT one morning because I wanted to start one of my days in Oslo with a sauna. It was fairly easy to book a ticket and time online. I went in the morning when only one of the three large saunas are open. When you get there it’s kind of confusing finding the check-in, because the front which is the concert venue/food trucks/gift shop/etc. are still closed, but the sauna facilities are all the way in the back. You check in at the bar and there are basically a men and woman’s locker/changing room respectively, the co-ed saunas, showers and then large barrels for cold plunging. I brought my own towel, swimwear, lock, and shoes. It’s by no means luxurious, but it’s a nice place to sauna and cold plunge which is the point. Can’t remember if the open sauna was meant to be the silent one but many patrons conversed, and not all rinsed - so many tourists and probably not frequent sauna goers if you’re stringent on sauna etiquette. Bar staff was friendly.

Wonderful experience! My friends and I went and tried out the public sauna. Great price. Markus tended to us and was wonderful! He was very helpful, kind and welcoming. We had the burger, fries, reindeer soup, fish soup, dumplings and all were delicious. Also great service as well.

Most places offer limited seating at their counters, but there are a lot of tables available in the center that are shared between all the different vendors. Highly recommend.

Great food hall with a wide variety of options from local specialties to Spanish dishes. The place is clean, lively, and the service is excellent. Sometimes a few spots get crowded, but there’s always plenty of choice. You can also buy local products to take home. A really nice place to visit in Oslo!

If I lived nearby, this would be a regular go to spot. There are so many choices here, and the two places we did try (a Spanish bites place and a goulash one) were both amazing. The vibes are cozy and comfortable-overall if you’re in the area, put it on your to eat list!

This is a multiple smaller businesses operating within the food hall. I tried the meat and fish companies. Both were exceptional. Prices were very tourist-like but the quality was great. The multiple different stores within the market made this a one stop. I saw they also had a butcher shop with aged beef.
C J — Google review
A lovely indoor market with many typical restaurants offering Norwegian specialties. The place we chose required one dish per person if seated inside, which was a bit much as the portions were already generous. Still, the food was excellent, with a great harmony of flavors and ingredients. We really enjoyed discovering elk, reindeer, and whale among others.
Floriane P — Google review
Awesome market and eating places. Has several bars and restaurants plus all the markets for fresh meat, fish, bread, cheeses. Many types of restaurants from sushi to burgers. Fairly “new” (like all things Oslo). Felt like it was built more recently rather than having a long history like other European markets. But we never pass up a stop at the market to see what the locals are eating.

Customers can enjoy a pleasant stroll along the waterfront or take a refreshing dip from the swimming jetty before indulging in delicious vegetarian fare at KUMI.
If you’re on the hunt for an exceptional brunch spot in Oslo, let me introduce you to KUMI Oslo. My visit there was nothing short of incredible—it’s safe to say this is one of the best brunches in the city. The atmosphere? Impeccable. From the moment I walked in, the music set the perfect tone—uplifting yet mellow, making it an ideal backdrop for catching up with friends or savoring some quiet time. Now, let’s talk about the food. Every dish was a masterpiece. Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, it’s clear that the team at KUMI takes pride in every detail. It wasn’t just a meal; it was an experience that lingered long after I’d finished eating. Pair that with top-notch service and a vibe that feels effortlessly chic, and you’ve got a spot that truly stands out. KUMI Oslo doesn’t just deliver brunch; they redefine it. Very good job, KUMI. This is a brunch experience I’ll be raving about for a long time.

A very nice and aesthetic place for brunch. We had the pancakes and the Turkish breakfast, along with one original latte and one matcha latte. Both drinks were good, and the food was decent. Considering the price, it felt a bit underwhelming and I expected more. It’s good, just not 600–700 NOK for two people good. You’re definitely paying for the atmosphere, as the service wasn’t much to brag about either.

Great location! Close to tram #12, 15, 17, 18. There's ONLY TWO bathrooms and ONLY ONE with a seat. Last time I was there, so many people were waiting in line, plus the door was broken and it opened and closed randomly😿 There's a nearby cafe that let you use the bathroom for 10 kr(May 2025), but wish there were more public bathrooms in public places like parks.

Dining options are luxurious, but some guests feel that breakfast could be improved with more variety.
As for new traveler/visitor, it's the best hotel to stay since train station and bus station just 2 minutes away from the hotel. All the tourists spots are around the hotel about 15 minutes walkable radius. For Muslims, there are many halal restaurants nearby. This hotel is easily accessible from airport , take train within the airport and second stop is the hotel. Also it's easy to go to any city such as bergen, flam and so on from the hotel since train station are walkable even if you have multiple travel trolley and bags. As for the hotel, needless to mention, radisson around the world provides good breakfast. Norwegian are generally very kind and polit so you can expect very good environment and comfort zone. Don't be surprised, there will be empty jar /bottle at the room, it's safe to drink tape water. Don't expect to have plastic bottled water in the room. You can contact reception for electronic charging accessories like plugs, adaptors, they are happy to provide for free of charges. Keep in mind you will be charged about 30 NOK for usage of mastercard or visa, so you can pay in cash for room reservation to avoid this charges

The Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo is a mammoth structure standing tall right next to Oslo Central Station. The building itself is iconic and instantly recognizable in the heart of the city. The location couldn’t be better — you can literally walk to the central station in just two minutes, which makes it perfect for travelers coming in by train or planning day trips around Norway. The front desk staff were very supportive and helpful. I had requested a room away from the elevator since I’m a light sleeper, and they happily arranged that for me. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped — with an iron box, hair dryer, and a large bathroom featuring a tub. Breakfast at the hotel is impressive with plenty of options to choose from. However, due to the high number of guests, it tends to get quite crowded during peak hours. If you go early, you can enjoy a peaceful meal, but once the rush starts, the atmosphere becomes noisy and service quality drops a bit — making it harder to enjoy breakfast calmly. In terms of accessibility, the hotel’s location is unbeatable. You can walk to landmarks like the National Theatre and the Oslo Opera House in just a few minutes. While Oslo is generally a very safe city, it’s wise to stay cautious late at night — especially around the Central Station and nearby metro or bus stations, where you may encounter some drunk individuals or people selling drugs after 9 PM. Overall, the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel is an excellent choice for its convenience, comfort, and service — just try to plan your breakfast a bit early to avoid the crowd!

Our room was quite spacious for 3 adults. Some toiletries were provided but it didn’t matter much as we brought our own. I loved that we were near the ice machine as they had those fridges that automatically bill the bar items that have been shifted. Hence, we didn’t use the fridge to cool our drinks as the prices are horrendous. It’s a huge hotel so when we arrived there was a queue of people waiting to check in. They are well organized though so our check in was quite ok. Restaurants tend to be busy so if you plan on dining there, make sure you have a reservation. Otherwise, eat at their terrace restaurant which has limited options but fantastic views of the city. Location wise, perfect for our itinerary as we had a train to catch to Myrdal. You just climb the stairs and overhead pedestrian and you’re there. A Joker grocery and mall are just around the corner.

The room is spacious and ok for 1 or 2 nights. Incredibly clean. But: I found a set of eye lashes under the matress (whoever was in there before me, must have had a good time...) The staff is absolutely amazing and very friendly. The pizza is dreadful, but this is my opinion, I like thin crust and not thick ones. Otherwise the flavour is good. One negative point: to get to the pool, you have to climb a stair case with your outside clothes. You arrive literally AT THE POOL without any possibilities to change before. At the pool you can change. You can rent a robe for somewhat 400-600 Kronen (cannot remember exact amount). The location is very, very good, a 1 minute easy walk from the train station. Very good points: I definitely did not hear any noise from anywhere. The view is exceptional. I would come again but not for the pizza.

Clean and spacious room with a lovely view — definitely worth the upgrade. The restaurants offer tasty dishes with a great variety. Breakfast can get quite busy, but the location is excellent and within walking distance to the train station.

I stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Oslo and had an excellent experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the rooms were very comfortable. The buffet spread was impressive and offered a great variety. The hotel’s location is fantastic—just a short walk from the train station, which made getting around Oslo very convenient. Overall, a wonderful stay and highly recommended.
Aatish B — Google review
The hotel is very conveniently located near the Oslo Central Train Station. It's also close to the market and several places to eat. Right behind the hotel, you will also find a river. It's a beautiful walk/ run and you shouldn't miss it for anything. The rooms are nice and big and don't feel cramped for space. The room design is well thought out. I like the round table in the room that can serve as both a large coffee table and also a nice work desk. The bathrooms are nice but arent designed well. The shower area has an inconvenient door but I got over it. The towel rack is on top of the WC which makes it hard to hang towels to be reused later. There isn't a place to hang used towels or robe anywhere in the bathroom. The breakfast spread is nice, but the place can get very busy. They have a nice pizza place and a roof top restaurant. Both of which are quite good. The staff is generally nice and helpful. My big complaint was that while I was at the hotel, the hotel was being renovated. This meant that from 10Am to 4 Pm, there was continues noise of power tools. I was on a work trip and needed to make a few calls and this noise made it impossible. If you don't intend to be in the hotel during the day, this wouldnt bother you. I am taking off a star from the rooms for that reason. I would strongly recommend the hotel for anyone on work or leisure.

We stayed at Raddison for a few days and the location was very convenient. Service was good and staff were friendly. The rooms and bathroom were lovely and spacious. Beds were soft and the hotel was lovely. The quality of the breakfast was really good and enjoyed the food very much. I will note that the bathtubs are very slippery getting in and out of the bathtub as your feet always slip and almost fell several times despite using the hand rail.

Tilt is a vibrant and entertaining bar nestled in the Grunerlokka neighborhood of Oslo. Boasting an impressive selection of 19 beers on tap from Norway, Europe, and the USA, it's a haven for beer enthusiasts. While not having the most extensive beer collection among bars, Tilt offers an enjoyable atmosphere to unwind. Visitors can indulge in free shuffleboard with a waitlist at the bar or exchange cash for tokens to enjoy pinball and video games.
5 stars – I loved the chill vibe and had a great time playing shuffleboard for the first time—it was really cool! Pro tip: Keep your beers away from the shuffleboard table to avoid getting sand in them.

Nice place and in my opinion a must visit for flipper enjoyer. It could be quite confusing to empty all your bottles + you are not allowed to bring in empty plastic bottles... The securitys are friendly and very reserved while searching my bags. The beer selection was great but as usual way to expenesive, even the games where a little bit overprices as the coin - nok change rate. But i enjoyed it and recommend to every nostalgic person.

Best place to be if you like arcade games and craft beer!!! Staff is super helpful, always serving with a smile! Pinball tournaments every month and a great variety of games to choose from. The craft beers on tap is changing regularly! Great place for a date or any other occasion! Check it out!!!
Stephanie B — Google review
Cool place with lots of arcade games. Per their own website, they have been donated all the pinballs and own and service them themselves. You'd think that would be reflected in the pricing, but it is not. It's REALLY expensive to play - about $2 per credit (if you buy several chips) and no bonus credits if you pay in extra chips. And don't get me started on the price of the beer, but that's Norway for you. Would be cool if they did a monthly Sunday free play or something like that.
Adine T — Google review
Pinball bars are my happy place. This one is exceptional! Tons of beers plus THREE floors of newer pinball machines (maybe 90s to today) plus arcade cabinets. You get your tokens at the bar. They’ve got a great assortment of machines including DDR and movie-themed pinball machines.

Are you into arcade gaming, shuffleboard, and other activities combined with beer? You should go here. With a great selection of beer and games (even the tables are games, like pacman)

KOK Oslo Sauna, located at Langkaia, is a unique floating sauna experience established in 2017. The sauna offers two boats where visitors can relax while enjoying stunning views of the Opera House and the fjord. Guests have the option to take a refreshing dip in the icy fjord after their sauna session. While there are no private changing rooms or bathrooms on site, visitors can book shared saunas and enjoy meeting new people from around the world.
Amazing! The sauna was very nice and the water was very chill, exactly what you need to cold down after 20mn under 80℃! You can jump from above the sauna which is very fun. I went there alone and booked the shared sauna, we were only 6 inside so it was not too crowded, there can be up to 8 people inside , which would also be very acceptable as the saunas are quite big. There is no « private » changing room
Horowitz L — Google review
What a lovely experience! Michael welcomed us and was very informative and helpful. Luckily, we ended up being just us two in the sauna so we were able to put on some music and make the most of it. Bonus points for the refreshing light beer. Definitely a highlight of our stay so far!
Amanda S — Google review
We had a brilliant time at the Sauna. We visited as a family of 4 and booked a private sauna. We loved jumping in to cool down and the views were great. A really fun thing to do as a family. Great service too!

An unforgettable experience! My friends and I booked a two-hour private floating sauna with KOK, and it exceeded all expectations. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and the whole experience felt so relaxing and unique. Our skipper, Kristine, was fantastic; she knew the best spots to explore, helped us choose the perfect music to set the vibe, and even captured amazing videos for us to remember the day. If you're considering a floating sauna experience, I can’t recommend KOK enough, and definitely ask for Kristine!

I actually enjoyed this place more than Loyly in Helsinki. The Sauna actually stayed warm because people were not going in and out. Jumping into the fjord was refreshing. When we were there, 2 people were stung by a jellyfish. It wasn’t bad, but just be careful if you see them in the water.
Lonyl P — Google review
I highly recommend this experience to everyone and their neighbour. We’d booked a 2 hour private sauna and everything was perfect. There are speakers that you can connect your phone to, water and beers for purchase, and the spectacular thrill of alternating between jumping into ice cold waters and mildly broiling ourselves in the sauna. I look forward to returning!
MaryJane L — Google review
This was, hands down, our favorite experience in Oslo. You get your own boat captain as you slowly cruise the Fjords of Oslo. The birch burning sauna deep heats everything that hurts and you can follow that up with a swim in the ocean then repeat, repeat and repeat. Yes, it's kosher to jump off the top of the boat. It has Bluetooth to add your own soundtrack to the day. Spend the money and do this. I have traveled alot and had never seen this offered anywhere else.
Jeffrey S — Google review
What a phenomenal experience! In and out of the hot, steaming sauna that you maintain yourself and into the cold, exhilarating Oslo waters with such beautiful views of the opera house. Wonderful, welcoming and helpful staff ensured everyone could fully enjoy the sauna benefits. 1000% a must do - whatever the weather! 🌦️

On a Sunday night in Oslo just about everywhere we’d planned to eat was closed, and with the rain pouring down we decided to make the short sprint to this nearby food hall. It turned out to be a a great choice - there were heaps of options ranging from Indian and Thai to Mexican and burgers, with a decent bar. Everything was cooked to order and the Pho and Thai stir fry we ordered were cheap, and very tasty. A very good, cheap, quick meal.

Bit of a mixed bag tbh. I had the jerk chicken wrap and sweet potato fries from Fulani, and it was FIRE. SO filling and some of the best sweet potato fries i've ever had. However, my parents ordered from Zorba BSF and their experience wasn't great. My dad tried to order at the counter but was told he HAD to use their website - which isn't inclusive to those who aren't technically competent. Both Chicken Gyros meals ordered arrived cold despite being described as being 'Wrapped in warm, fluffy pita'. Cold pita, and cold chips.

Visitors appreciate the quality of their food, particularly their delightful bread and savory butter.
I came here twice on my visit to Oslo and loved it both times. They were accommodating with plant based vegan options (the white bean stew with extra bread was amazing!) and the staff and vibe were great. Defo recommended

Sorry to say but - the disgusting restroom situation made the visit a 3/5 but is we are honest it should be a 1/5 … ( shit was spread around the floor 🤢) the guy before me who went in told someone who worked there after coming out from the restroom but didn’t seem to hurry them to solve the situation.. Food was good. Scramble on sourdough - it was a 10/10 Service was slow. I recommend one of their other places in town because the concept is good the food is good but is particular place was bad! I would suggest checking the restrooms every few hours .. to make a better experience

Tasty, light lunch, we both had the scrambled eggs on sourdough. However the service is incredibly slow. We waited in the queue for a table for about half an hour, but there were several tables available just needing to be cleared. Still a go-to cafe for us, I think the service just needs improvement.

What a great little place. Staff was great and extremely welcoming. I had eggs with sourdough and the homemade whipped butter (wow), a cinnamon bun and a cappuccino. Just great service, great food and super atmosphere. I recommend:) I went on a Thurday lunch time so it was pretty quiet and didn’t have to wait!!

unfortunately we have been very disappointed with the café, the vibes are quite good and i feel like this place has a lot of potential but if you’re looking for a good coffee this really is not the place - the presentation and the taste of the coffee were not good, the food was a bit better however i was looking forward to a whipped butter being the butter but it was margarine instead which ruined the experience from the good sourdough bread and delicious comte cheese quite a bit, i would also welcome a bit of vegetable with it. Overall id give 1/5 ⭐️for the coffee and 3/5 ⭐️for the food

Phenomenal breakfast that we happened to wander into! Some of the best oatmeal and omelettes we’ve ever had. A must stop in Oslo.
Meghan E — Google review
I had high hopes from this coffee and it disappointed me. Had here one of the worst coffees I ever had in a caffe, dont know if you can call this a cappuccino as a barista I was ashamed that someone created something like this. Environment of this caffe was very confusing, there were only 3 employees which I feel like is not enough for caffe of this size. Having chef serve the food is not really professional, in addition to this you have to get seated by the server, but then you order at the bar what is that. Food was really nice, I had ham and cheese sandwich, would be nice to have some vegetable or small salad with it to make it bit more fresh. And the chef was really nice, but I feel like he would deserve some help. Overall I don't recommend visiting this caffe.

Stortinget T-bane is a key stop in Oslo, conveniently located near Norway's Parliament building, Stortinget. This iconic structure, with its striking pale yellow brick facade and impressive circular assembly hall, serves as a hub of political activity and symbolizes Norwegian democracy. Visitors can enjoy guided tours that delve into the rich history and significance of this landmark. The surrounding area on Karl Johans Gate is vibrant, often bustling with demonstrations and events in the adjacent park.
Stortinget Metro Station, a key stop in Oslo's subway system, offers access to the city center's attractions. The station is well-situated for exploration. Grass Roots Square in Oslo is a remarkable work of art by Korean-American artist Do Ho Suh. It features 50,000 small bronze figures with a green patina, symbolizing a grassroots movement and representing unity among people of different ages, genders, and ethnicities. The figures are placed within the square, some sharing the weight of paving stones. Despite being tucked away from touristy areas, this unique sculpture captivates visitors with its impressive scale and detail.
Adorable! An entire square of some of the best little bronze figures anywhere! Tucked away from the touristy areas and o erlooked by the locals as an everyday phenomenon, these miniature statutes have great detail and are a little wonder to see.

Lovely little find, quite out the way so I had to purposefully aim for it but very glad I did. It's such an interesting sculpture, 50,000 tiny people! Also right across the road from the 22 Juli centre which I also highly recommend. It's free and it's a remembrance centre for the attacks that happened in Norway in 2011

Grass Roots Square was created by Korean-American artist Do Ho Suh. Some pavers in the square have been removed and replaced by tiny bronze statues, 50 thousand of them in total, ranging in height from 8-10cm. They’re standing together, interacting, and some of them are sharing the weight of paving stones. The project was designed and approved before the terror attacks 2011, but somehow that makes the little people standing together in solidarity seem all the more poignant. Grass Roots Square is located in the government quarter, a short distance from the office block targeted in the 2011 attacks.

We stayed in Oslo for a week and the hotel was excellent. Great diverse neighborhood and easy to find for the train station. All the major sites are within a 30 min walk. The apartment was great, wry bright and spacious and had all the amenities needed. It was nice to have the bedroom at the back, so you can avoid street noise. The one thing you need to note is that everything is done through your phone. You access the building and your apartment through the app, so you need to make sure you have your phone with you at all times and that’s fully charged.

Nice apartment and good location. Plenty of space, quiet. HOWEVER - digital entry is overengineered. Opening each door with the phone (3 doors in our case) and the final door to the apartment required several (always more than 4) trials. - breakfast location...it is NOT next to the apartment, but more than 10 min walk (not necessarily in the direction you need to rush in the morning for your meeting) - ventilator in the bathroom never switched on (and we did not find out how to do it manually)

We spent five days in a spacious 60 m² apartment in a modern, well-kept building. The lively neighborhood and smart design made it a great base for exploring Oslo. Amenities were solid, and communication with Bob W. staff was smooth and easy. A few details could use attention but overall it was a very good stay.

This was such a good little hotel, all automated so never actually saw a person but good size room and great local location! The bed was super comfortable and lots of good restaurants and bakeries nearby. If you don’t have a smart phone and aren’t as ‘tech savvy’ it might not be the best as you don’t actually get a key. Also make sure you have data to be able to access the access code to the building!

Nice place and clean. The room was bigger than expected. The supermarket was just opposite the apartment. The heater was warm. It offers stunning views of the castle and is conveniently located near high-end shopping destinations like Louis Vuitton, Mulberry, Hugo Boss, Gucci, and Hermes. The salon provides top-notch facial treatments with skilled professionals like Nathalia and Eirill who offer personalized care without pressuring clients to purchase products. Visitors can also enjoy relaxing massages in a serene atmosphere.
I am always very happy whenever i visit Best of You. I look forward to meet Eiril. She is very profesjonell and does her job very well. I get face wax from her and ive never had any rash or any marks afterwards. Ive been coming to her for more than 2 years now.
Areej J — Google review
Ive been here for a Brazilian wax several times and until today, I always had Eirill, who is fantastic! Which is why I’m not leaving a lower rating. Today, I had a wax from Vlada and it was one of the most painful experiences I’ve had in my 10+ years of waxing. I’ve never been moved to curse in a salon before. She was nice enough, although she barely said a word to me until the end. From these reviews, it seems like she’s really good at other services but if you’re booking for a wax, ask for Eirill.

Museum
The Zoological Museum (Robert Collett's house) – Natural History museum is a small but enjoyable exhibition featuring over 5,000 plant species in the botanical garden and an indoor display of dinosaur bones and recreated animal habitats from around the world. The museum also houses fossils, minerals, geological maps, and stuffed animal exhibits. It's child-friendly with a notable T-Rex replica dominating one of the rooms.
Extensive zoological collection with excellent native diorama's. Exhibitions are well designed with up-to-date science. Also great to see insects being displayed alongside the bigger fauna as other museums don't really do so that much.
Reinier B — Google review
Smaller than the geological museum next door, but the animal displays are one of a kind.
Eason C — Google review
It's a small but nice and fun place especially for kids with full of animals. I think this museum is good for children to learn more about nature. I wish the explanations would be in English as well. There are some English ones but most of them are in Norwegian.
Ayçin — Google review
Small but enjoyable little exhibition with fossils, minerals, geological maps and stuffed animal exhibits. Child friendly, although pretty quiet place (I visited during Easter). They have a pretty impressive T-Rex replica that dominates the room it's placed in. Definitely recommend if you like these stuff. The surrounding area is also nice, with the botanical gardens and the Munch museum being close by.
Alpár I — Google review
Mandatory when visiting the botanical garden. The stuffed animal collection and T-rex scelleton are fun to watch for the kids.
Magnar W — Google review
The dinosaur was cool. The rest of the place is in need of an upgrade. Very old school, the onlyvhave the names of the animals on computer monitors, which is a shame, especially when all the monitors where turn off. Protip: During this Corona thing, get someone to print the names of the animals and stick it to the glass.

River
Akerselva River in Oslo is a picturesque 5-mile stretch from Maridalsvannet Lake to the city center, offering walking paths with views of waterfalls, swimming spots, and wildlife. The river played a significant role in Oslo's industrial history but has since been cleaned up. Along the river, you can find sculptures and various dining options.
Visiting the city of Oslo and our Airbnb hosts suggested a walk along the Akerselva river and what a fantastic way to spend an afternoon. Walked from the Central train station to the trail that runs along the river. Nice shady area to walk while watching and listening to the water flow by. You can rent kayaks on the water, which totally looked like it was a lot of fun. Some parts of the walkway are only a short distance from the city streets so you can jump off the trail and have lunch or take a walk in a different direction. It just so happened that today was the Oslo Vegetarian Festival at one point along the river that made a perfect stop for our lunch. Beautiful place to walk, sit by the bank of the river or just view from a bridge overlooking the area.

Nice place for walk or run. The river was very important in the history of industrial development of Oslo, mani factories operate across the river using its water for reject wastes in the past. Currently the river is no longer polluted and the factories are no longer there. Along river, there are many interesting and polemic sculptures.

Super rude staff, quality of the bakeries is passable, all in all stay away. I quote "I would prefer to give away things to people I know than sell them to you". Just really feels like this person is not in the right profession. The bread is better anyway at Tranen at Aleksander Kjiellands Plass and the staff much friendlier, worth the 10 min walk! DO NOT RENT THIS ROOM. 1 star because it's not possible to give less. The condition of this apartment divided into cages (rooms) is below any kind of ceiling. When we arrived, it turned out that the window glass in the room is broken. After entering the bathroom, it only got better. The shower glass was broken, glass everywhere. The toilet seat was lying in the middle of the bathroom together with the glass on the muddy floor. A huge mess and stench. After reporting these "small faults" to the owner, 2 men burst into the apartment, swearing and pretending that it was the first time they had seen it (I'm sure they knew about it before). The owner refused to refund the money. We were left on the street, without money and a place to stay.

The shower was on the hottest, couldn't shower without burning you. We were there for three days. We reported all this when they woke us up to see if we had seen it. We arrived at 1am! I told the owner himself. He complained about the other guests who are usually there too. Didn't do anything except buy back lost towels. (Translated by Google) One of the worst accommodations we've ever stayed in. Tiny rooms, no window (despite photos indicating otherwise at the time of booking), and sheets that were dirty from the moment we walked in. The shared bathroom had accumulated dust and hair for at least months, and we were only given one towel for two people. Despite informing the accommodation about this as soon as we checked in, the only "solution" they offered was to "borrow" a towel from another guest that was in the dryer. No comments on the matter. Totally not recommended! (Original) De los peores alojamientos en los que hemos estado.
