We often come to this restaurant. The food and atmosphere are always brilliant, but one of the main reasons we keep coming back is the excellent customer service. The staff are very friendly, especially Mariam, who has served us the last few times. She is always polite, attentive, and very welcoming. She always checks if we’re happy with our food and, at the end, kindly offers us tea. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would definitely do that.

Amazing food, amazing atmosphere, and the service was great! Reminded me of Türkiye the moment I stepped in. I had the Beyti Kebap, and I'd highly recommend it. See the picture attached. Service ends with a complementary çay and a plate of baklava, which is always great.

I've been to a couple of different Turkish restaurants on or near city road and this one is just miles above the rest, the service, the food and the price you just won't find better. Top tier.

I had dinner with my partner tonight . The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. The service was excellent — the waiters were friendly, attentive, and clearly doing their best even though the restaurant was quite busy. However, the calm and pleasant atmosphere was unfortunately disturbed by one of the chefs in the kitchen. He seemed very stressed and was repeatedly and quite loudly using the service bell to call the waiters, even when they were already occupied. His behavior came across as impatient and unprofessional. It was uncomfortable to watch, especially since the rest of the staff were handling everything with such professionalism and calmness. Aside from that incident, everything else was wonderful. The food and service were truly impressive, and we would still be happy to return in the future — hopefully next time the kitchen environment will be a bit calmer to match the otherwise lovely dining experience.

Absolutely amazing food and service. We got the platter for two with rice each which was plenty of food for both of us and so tasty! We had amazing service too, and were given complimentary sauce, mini desserts and mint tea! Could not fault the experience at all, definitely a great place to visit! And amazing value for money too, a must-try for anyone in Cardiff!

Absolutely lovely restaurant, service and food. Firstly, the restaurant was impeccably clean and hygiene standards extremely high. The restaurants owner and head chef greeted us and took our orders. He was a lovely and polite man, and was extremely accommodating of our needs. The food came in good time, and tasted beautiful. They except cards and or cash, they're are also toilets on site too. Parking is difficult due to being situated on a busy main road. Therefore, it's best to arrive early and find a side road to park on. You can make a reservation online very easily. This restaurant exceeded my expectations and it will for you too. It's fantastic and the staff make sure you are looked after. I am so pleased I found this place, as I will be coming back. Had the pleasure of dining here during our visit to Cardiff. Received a warm welcome when we arrived and the service was second to none. The food was amazing and delicious (ended up ordering more than initially planned 😋). Would come here again next time we pass by.

It was a nice and clean venue. The service was fairly fast. Portions are big. I just couldn’t get the taste I was expecting. Lamb and chicken dishes did nit taste too different than each other because they were both dominated by the spice in the mince. I appreciate the nature of Syrian cuisine but as a person who’s familiar with another cuisine, it didn’t feel the same with the taste. Patatas Barras was very good. Just like patatas bravas but Syrian version, a bit more spicy 🙂 Platters for 2 was quite enough for 2 people. Surrounding of the venue wasn’t very easy to find a space for parking. We found a place on the street behind the venue but honestly it didn’t look very safe there.

We booked a table for two but later realized it wasn’t necessary unless you're a bigger group—though some tables were reserved, so it was still a good idea. We ordered the mango lassi (refreshing and not too sweet), the Shaam Night's Mezza Mix for starters (great variety and plenty to share), lamb biryani (Syrian-style, tasty but quite different from the usual biryani—more herby, less spicy), and the mixed grill, which came with rice and was very generous in portion. In fact, we had more than enough food for two! The whole meal came to around £50, which felt like good value. The staff were friendly but not very interactive, just professional and efficient. The decor is beautiful—stylish and modern, with a nice ambiance. Overall, a pleasant experience. Would come back, maybe with a group to try more dishes!

We had a wonderful experience at Shaam Nights Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious full of authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The atmosphere felt welcoming and comfortable, making it a perfect place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. A special thanks to our waiter, Mohamed, who was so friendly, attentive, and made us feel really well taken care of. His service added an extra touch to the evening. We went with the special mezze to share and were blown away by the flavours. It was perfect. We also got mains and each dish was delicious in its own way. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the food options and were able to cater for my gluten free needs.

It was our 1st time at Mina restaurant and we went there for a celebration. The staff were polite, warm and welcoming. Service was great. The food was amazing and so flavourful! They graciously moved the table for us when we asked them to. Can't really fault them for anything. Would definitely recommend to everyone!

Very good food. We've had the various shared dishes here, which have been real treats. The photos are the mixed meze for two and the Mashwi Mwshakal for two. Also like the Lebanese sweet for dessert, which we took as takeaway because these are big portions. Looking forward to the next visit.

Absolutely incredible meal my husband and I had here. We ordered a large selection of hot and cold starters. Everything was so fresh and bursting with flavour. The service was lovely and the atmosphere was comfortable and inviting. I wish we lived closer as I'd be happy to eat there often!

Brilliant food and very friendly and quick service. I've been to a few middle Eastern restaurants and this is definitely one of the best. The kibba (lamb stuffed balls) are the best I've had. They were also very helpful, squeezing us in without a reservation

Accommodated a group of 20 (2 weeks notice for a Saturday evening). Lovely food and great service. The shared meze starter was amazing, and everyone was very happy indeed with their mains. A true family restaurant and proper Lebanese options for the beers and wine. It's a shame I don't live in Cardiff because this would be a regular visit..

The food was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend their vegan Yaprak Sarması as an appetizer — it has a pomegranate sauce on it and tastes great. For the main course, I had the lamb shank with mashed potatoes, while my husband tried the Güveç. Both dishes were excellent. The staff were incredibly kind and hospitable, and the service was prompt.

The food at LESZET is genuinely not bad—flavoursome, well-presented, and true to Turkish cuisine. I’d rate the food a solid 4/5. The atmosphere is also pleasant, with a comfortable and nicely styled setting that adds to the dining experience (4/5). However, the service fell short. The staff were polite but clearly in need of better training—service was disorganised and occasionally inattentive, which affected the overall experience (3/5). While it’s not a bad restaurant by any means, I personally wouldn’t return with my family. It feels more suited for a casual visit rather than a repeat dining spot.

I tried Turkish food for the first time ever, and I must say that the whole experience at Lezzet was the best decision. The customer service by Rez was excellent, he welcomed us with a smile and gave us complimentary starters and dessert at the end. He was super polite, guided the whole menu and gave us recommendations. The lamb kebabs were my favourite. Food, service by the whole staff and the ambience was a 10/10. Would definitely recommend!

The food is very good. It's cooked and prepared well. The prices are high though. The restaurant is in a great location in the heart of the city; we went on a Friday evening, and the place was very busy. The debt machine wasn't working, so we had to run to an ATM to get cash.

Really great experience. We had a mixture of hot and cold appetizers (delicious). I had the lamb kefka while my wife had a lamb stew (sorry, forgot to take a picture as everything was looking and smelling so wonderful). Overall a fantastic meal with great service.

Travelled from Bristol to this restaurant and it was worth it!! Starters was really nice had a nice cold and hot meze, then followed an amazing mix grill which was full of flavour, the service was amazing. Metin and bilge was very accommodating and made us feel welcome start to finish. Highly recommend to come with family and friends.

A Saturday evening dinner for 4 to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Food was excellent and not standardised catering. A very Mama Mia atmosphere with a totally customer service orientation made it a very successful event. There were nice unexpected and uncharged for touches that added that added to the feeling of the restaurant valuing our custom. Definitely will be repeating another visit.

Not often leave a review for a restaurant but I must rate this restaurant 10/10. Come to Cardiff for my race and craving for Greek cuisine. It’s really out of my expectations the dish is freshly made not precooked you definitely can taste that. The portions, the food standard and quality are definitely worth the price! They even serve free house sweet treat called Greek Donuts with cinnamon and honey on top. Honestly it’s my first time to try this kind of dessert and it’s sooooo fresh and yummy! Last but not least the staffs are so friendly and kind! I will defo come back again if I travel Cardiff. Thank you!!!

I am visiting from Liverpool and found this place by chance for a pre-theatre dinner. I'm now very sad it is 200 miles away from where I live because the cooking is just lovely! I had their rabbit stifado special (£19.50) and it was one of those dishes which, even as a keen cook, makes you want to hang up your pots and pans because you know you'll never be able make something that delicious. It even had kidneys and livers, and whole juniper berries. My mother-in-law had moussaka; the white sauce was velvety and creamy flavoured with lovely levels of spice. My partner had chicken spits; the chicken was tasty, with a beautiful char, and the pitta was soft, moist, and clearly homemade. The aubergine salad starter was also beautiful. Simple, fresh, tasty, and so much more than the sum of it's parts. Tiny wine list (one of each colour) but we had a bottle of white (£23) and it was delicious and all you would ever need. Service was warm and friendly, and as we didn't have time for desert, they gave us a quick free dish of dough balls, honey, and cinnamons to share quickly, which was delightful. I hope to get back there before I leave on Monday to try their beef stifado with greek pasta. If you are in the area and what something genuinely proper to eat, you would mad to miss this place.

I’ve been a long-time customer of The Hellenic Eatery, and while I still enjoy visiting, I’ve noticed some changes on my recent visits that weren’t necessarily for the better. On one occasion, the restaurant was playing non-Greek music, which took away from the authentic atmosphere. Part of the charm used to be the cultural touches — like the TV showcasing Greek places and traditions — which really reinforced the experience of “being in Greece” while dining. Unfortunately, those elements seem to be missing now. Service-wise, the staff appeared to be short-handed. Both times I visited recently, the restaurant was busy, and we experienced long waits for starters and mains. Even after asking for the bill, it took around 10 minutes for someone to bring over the card machine. In terms of food, I did notice some differences in preparation. For example, the htapodi with hummus and the tirokafteri had a lot of oil added on top. The oil sat heavily on the dishes and overpowered their flavors, which was a shame as the ingredients themselves are good quality. Also, the tables near the entrance can get uncomfortably cold at night when the door opens frequently. That being said, there are still positives. The staff remain very knowledgeable about the food, happily explaining how dishes are made and what ingredients they use. The overall atmosphere is still pleasant and welcoming — though it could be improved by bringing back some of the authentic Greek touches that made it so special before.

I’ve been a customer of Hellenic Eatery for a very long time and always enjoyed it, but the new owners are really making it into something special. The last two visits there have ended with complimentary doughnuts for the whole table (and a lovely digestif liquor for me as I’m coeliac). Speaking of, while they don’t label the menu items as gluten free, if you speak to them they will cook your food separately — I asked if their chips were rolled in flour, and while it appears that they usually are, the staff cooked a portion of chips for me in a separate pan. Lovely, friendly jokey staff and absolutely delicious Greek food. The change in ownership has only made it better!

Everything was amazing, starting with the traditional greek restaurant that makes you feel like you're in Greece as soon as you step in. The food was delicious with decent prices. The staff very friendly and they've surprised us with some cinnamon honey glazed doughnuts at the end. It was a great meal and came quite quickly as well. We'll definitely be back again.

A nice quiet place, tucked away off Newport road. Everything was decent. My Bamieh main was £10. That Okra was outstanding. A menu with pictures actually helps. Apparently this is #20 in Cardiff on TripAdvisor. Take that with a pinch of salt. It is however BYOB, beautiful, great staff, great food, reasonably priced...worth a revisit.

My family and I had the most amazing dining experience at Mowlana. We've had the chance to dine at some of the best restaurants in the world and have concluded that this lovely location is a Cardiff treasure. The cuisine was amazing. The level of service was outstanding. The waitress that was serving was really kind, courteous, and helpful. It's a modern, comfortable, clean, and family-friendly setting. Eager for the upcoming visit.

One of the best Iranian restaurants I’ve ever tried. Great service topped with good quality food and cozy atmosphere. Would definitely recommend. We did try the mixed grilled dish for two and couldn’t finish it in one sitting. We had heard good things about the place and it didn’t disappoint.

If you like Persian food or want to try, then this is the place to go in Cardiff. The lamb mince melts in your mouth. Great find on a quiet street with a few parking spots. I loved how they served the grilled meat on a silver platter like in the middle east. Update: been there multiple times and it's consistently great service and delicious

Right around the corner for our stay in Cardiff, we found this restaurant via Google Maps. It was a fantastic surprise. The interior was quiet, beautiful and had an excellent atmosphere. The staff was very friendly, personable and professional. We sampled a lot: hummus with pita bread, lamb, stew, chicken, beef, dolmeh (grape leaf wraps, I believe), doogh (a yogurt drink), mango drink and a Persian-made tea. The portions were very large and everything was delicious. We left with a very positive opinion of the restaurant; one of our best dining experiences in Cardiff.

Visited Cardiff recently to go to my pre-pandemic favourite spot for Persian food, the food were lovely and the service is really nice. The price is still a super deal and we came all the way from London to get one of UK’s best Persian restaurant. No other place does a Koobideh as good as Mowlana Cardiff. Keep it up!

One of the best Halal Persian restaurants in Cardiff, definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to try out Persian food! The Koobideh was soft and succulent. The atmosphere of the restaurant took us back in time. They have an ornate ancient Persian style seating bed.

Hate to leave a bad review but sadly wouldn’t recommend this place. The food was nice but such a small portion for the price. smaller than a child’s dinner, we all left still starving. Agree with a previous review saying there are far better Turkish places on city road. Won’t return.

Lovely atmosphere and a varied menu of excellent food that is cooked right in front of you. If the weather is nice, there is also an upstairs area and a small terrace. Food choices are wide and even though what we had was excellent, we will be back to try some of the other options.

Nice atmosphere and place to eat. Got the chance to sit at the terrace which was lovely in the sun. Beware though as it can get boiling when you sit there for too long. For drinks, I got Ayran, which is a yogurt drink and it tasted as expected of a yogurt drink. Afterwards, I got to eat some bread with sauces. I believe one set was just some heated up wraps, which I wasn't a big fan of. 😔 Got the mixed grill for mains and it came with salad, rice and sauces. I was expecting a bit more especially with the price, but overall it was decent. If you'd like value for money and authentic grills, I'd suggest trying restaurants down in City Road.

Lovely little place serving great food. Nice relaxed atmosphere, very clean and well laid out. You can actually see the food being cooked on the charcoal grill, we were sat right by it! 4 big lads we all enjoyed the Troy special mixed grill in the photo. It wasn't as big as it read on the menu, but that was a good thing as we were all stuffed from it! Turkish beer was good too. Would recommend this place to anyone.

As we like to eat out quite a bit we decided to give troy meze a sample , and was not disappointed. Staff are so friendly and helpful. We managed to sit directly across from the grill where they were cooking all different meats over the charcoals. We were presented with breads and dips for free to start 😋 for main course I went for the mixed shish with rice and salad . Was delicious. Safe to say we will definitely be back 👌

Sorry to leave a poor review but I was disappointed after my last visit. The food portions were really small and overpriced, the meze for three is definitely more appropriate for two. If you're looking for an authentic grill you're better off going to City Road.

Fresh food and even better service. They have just created a new menu to cater for not just adults but kids also. The owner is a bit unique but not a bad guy lol. Definitely worth the money and always on point with food. Could eat here every day 😊

Four Turkish ladies, travelling back to Bath from Cardiff, decided to stop randomly at Sen BBQ — without knowing anything about it — and what an absolute gem we discovered! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the warmest welcome, as if we were old friends. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, and the hospitality truly heartwarming. And the food... wow. Absolutely delicious! Everything was perfectly cooked — smoky, rich, and bursting with authentic flavour. You could tell it was a family-run business, with so much care and passion poured into every dish. We felt like we were back home in Turkey. This is hands down the best Turkish food we've had in the UK for a very long time. If you're ever near Cardiff — or even if you're not — make the trip to Sen BBQ. You won't regret it. Thank you

Just had a meal with my family, i can say the food is lovely. The place is lovely too as you cannot see it from outside. Once you enter and look back of the place. Staff's are friendly too. Menus are more traditional than what we find on any other Turkish restaurants. The portion size is good too. I would recommend to try this place.

Food was nice however the prices have gone a bit crazy here. A modest portion will cost you around £15 with a drink. Considering half of this is salad and chips I think it's far too costly for a take away. For two people and paid £38

First time eating here and absolutely loved it. Once i ordered, the owner came to check to make sure i understand that the food I ordered was spicy, i assured him and asked for fresh chillies as well 😄 i really enjoyed my meal and the service was really excellent. Was offered extra bread and hot tea after my meal. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a great Turkish meal. And I'll be back, whenever I'm around Cardiff .

My family wanted to go to another restaurant across the road to eat dim sum so I came here alone instead. Easy to read menu of starters, mains, sides and desserts. Very reasonably priced. There is a sit down bit at the back which is fine. My food came as requested altogether and I chose the deep fried feta parcels, chicken shawarma with salad, bread and rice. Everything tasted so fresh and the chicken was lovely and moist. I was treated to a small plate of Turkish Delight which seemed to be home made and tasty. I ordered 2 portions of baklava to take away as per my husbands request and we ate those later at home. Really friendly staff and very relaxed atmosphere.

Amazing place. Fantastic food with very reasonable prices (although the mixed grills are a little pricey, but I bet they come with a lot of food). The owner/manager is incredibly accomodating. It's also bring-your-own-drinks, which saves loads of money. Highly recommend

Visited a few weeks ago but promised I would leave a review--so here it is! Lovely little spot on Wellfield Road. Prices are good, place is clean and comfortable, food is lovely, and service is friendly. I had a lamb shish wrap and it came with fries and a Salad for £6.50. I like the decor, and the booths at the back. They feel private and comfortable. The instrumental music was calming, and the overall atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. Will definitely be going again soon!

Ordered chicken and garlic bread. They only sent garlic bread. Order took so long they're now closed. Longest piece of garlic bread ive ever waited for and most expensive as order was 20+ quid. Won't be ordering again...ive ordered alot from them but thats a joke....

The kebabs were tiny. A tortilla wrap as the bread? Where’s the pittas where the actual bread? A tortilla wrap seriously? The chips were £4.30 for some tiny portion of some awful quality frozen fries. A bottle of tango that was disguised as Fanta on the receipt it was a 1.5l of tango and cost £3. Imagine paying £7.30 for a small tray of fries and a bottle of tango!! Disgusting. I will never eat here again and I suggest others don’t either unless you don’t mind paying for over priced food that lacks quality. I had to scout out my freezer to fill up afterwards. £32 for 2 small kebabs chips and a bottle of tango and £7.30 was just for chips and a bottle of tango!!

The kebab was lush! Very tasty and thick cuts of Donner. The spicy wings were also very good. One of the best kebabs ever.

Service wasn't bad but the food is overpriced and wasn't great quality. £9.50 for a tray of salad basically with a small amount of donner meat. Bad aftertaste too. Wouldn't go back

Went in to get some food, which looked nice. For some reason there were 7 people behind the counter but thats by the by. Ordered my food and the guy said they dont take card, which is weird but okay. I told them I didnt have my card since im staying at the hospital. The guy said if I have contactless on my phone, he could take my phone in the back and take the payment. I wasn't gonna hand my phone to a stranger to take to a back room and mysteriously take my payment (you need your fingerprint to make contactless payments) and its completely unethical to even ask that. I work as a fraud investigator and this comes up as a huge red flag for me. Taking someone's phone to a back room is dodgy as it is but writing the orders down on some graphite paper and taking bank payments screams fraud/money laundering/Unreported sales. Im good, cheers lads.

Best kebabs in Cardiff. Tasty chicken shish and donner kebabs. The mixed kebab tray was huge and lovely too. Comes with a fresh salad and sauces. Delivery was quick too. My favourite place. Recommended.

We ordered a large shesh it kebab it came tiny with no meat! Cold and horrible salad! The large kebab was also tiny and cold with disgusting salad We rang them up and all they said was sorry we fix it next time and hung up! Absolutely disgusting service and people! absolutely disgusting, i wouldn't recommend at all! i would've rated lower but ofc i can't. i ordered a chicken tikka with mint sauce and some salad. the portion size was ridiculous i'm not happy at all. never order from this place a waste of money. this was £13 with chips and even the chips weren't even a decent portion. starting to think these reviews are either workers or bots. as the food isn’t nice AT ALL!

That was my large kebab with all salad and chilli sauce. As a cheat meal i would have rathered cabbage water 🤤. But finally found some sauce and it was so sweet i got main and dessert in 1 meal 🥳. If u want to be severely disappointed and have ur night ruined i highly recommend this place.

I've eaten donner everywhere, and I've never been to a more overpriced and stingy place in my life. I was so disappointed to see how they treat customers. I was so tired and hungry, so I didn't have the energy to argue with people in the place either, and I couldn't believe I paid close to £20 for two small boxes. I couldn't believe the lady thought the M portion was like 10 chips. Worse, I had a hair in my food. Donner tasted fine, but why is the portion unreasonable. Wouldn't come here again even if I was starving, and it was the last place open on City Rd. How is anyone supposed to eat that much donner with no chips. Ruined my night tbh. I'm genuinely still shocked how they saw me watching them and thought that was an ok portion to give anyone, especially a medium lmfao. The lady fried way more chils btw but she just left them sitting in the basket instead of giving me 2 actual portions. My husband literally had almost 90% donner left and nothing to eat it with....

dont waste your money, poor service, very small portions, ordered a large lamb shish with donner meat, very small hardly any salad, cost 14 pound, very disappointing, dont waste your money, spoke to them, then cut me off, made a further 20 calls no answer.

Ordered kebab about recently and was half cooked. Who would serve raw meat? It is a serious health and safety concern. They didn't bother to refund or offer fresh cooked food. Avoid this place at all cost. Needs to be reported to food safety. Can't be putting public in danger and get away with it. Either shut it down or learn how to cook and stay hygienic.

I ordered a “xl mixed shish” and it was the same size as my friend’s normal size kebab. I honestly don’t know why you pay an extra £2.50 for no extra in size The portions are very small anyway. I did call up to complain but the man on the phone basically said that’s what they serve and hung up on me. Don’t waste your money and if possible use Roscoes grill Cardiff bay, much better portions and service Only went to KBS as it was supposed to be quicker but was 30 minutes late anyway. Lesson learned

We were visiting the area and wanted a quick lunch. It is a casual fast food place yet the food was tasty & freshly cooked. The price was also reasonable. The staff was nice.

Service is good but food is poor. £8.80 for a halloumi & hummus wrap, & portion of fries which mostly went in the bin. Fries were poor, and hard once they'd cooled a tiny bit. They forgot the hummus, and the wrap tasted of salad cos there were 2 tiny slithers of cheese in it. Guessing they bank on ppl being too smashed to care. I wasn't 1 of them though. Shame.

So, I've been here for so many times, I have a loyalty card showing When I buy 5 times & stamp on the card I'll get a free wrap or food. But the guy was refusing me to give the free food. I was shocked with his behaviour.

Had to watch the halloumi I’d ordered for my wrap be cooked in the middle of a bunch of chicken, featuring a piece of chicken jumping into the halloumi that was then tossed wrapped into my supposedly vegetarian wrap. Disgusting. Wouldn’t ever step foot here again.

all the guys that work here are wonderful, they are all so kind and friendly i can’t recommend this place enough. i’m a picky eater so i only had some chips but they were perfect and you need to visit this place when you’re in cardiff!! 10/10 customer service

Amazing customer service <33333 asked for chicken wings and chips in separate boxes and they gave me a full chicken wing meal and chips all for the same price <<333 10/10

Great food, absolutely enormous portions. I ordered a gryros and a greek salad and got enough food for two people. The service is friendly (you do need to order at the counter). The inside is very casual, but quite nice. A few wobbly tables, and some inconsiderate diners do leave the bathroom door open. But overall this is a lovely little find in the city centre.

What a lovely little place, the food was fantastic. My wife and I had a share platter and there was so much food, more than enough for 4 people. But the food itself was really good. The 2 ladies serving were very welcoming and polite. I'd definitely recommend this place.

I recently dined at a Greek village restaurant, and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the chicken gyro was absolutely delicious—so flavorful and tender! The fresh houmus, and warm pita were the perfect starters The service was top-notch, making us feel right at home. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves Greek cuisine!

SO SO GOOD! my friend and I each got a falafel sandwich with all the veg and a mango rubicon each. the food was incredible. bread is so fresh soft and fluffy. the veg is really fresh. good service, good selection, AMAZING prices - 2 falafel sandwiches n 2 cans of drink was like £8!!!! it seems popular too! truly an amazing falafel sandwich (I got falafel, all the veg (lettuce tomato cucumber red onion red cabbage) n garlic mint n chilli sauces). falafel was so well spiced and fresh and flavourful. the drink was very nice and cold too! I will come back again and again. what an absolute GEM! P.S. they do take card as well as cash now. my friend paid with card on his phone.

Wow. This has got to be one of the greatest food spots on City Road. A true hidden gem. I ordered the lamb shawarma, and it was breathtaking. The lamb was so succulent and full of flavor, the salads were fresh, and it all mixed with the sauce, giving my mouth a feeling it won't forget. A true testament to the shawarma. An outstanding deal for only 4.50. I will most certainly be going again. 10/10

First shawarma place that I've been in on this street, but it's probably already the best one, maybe even in Cardiff. I doubt anywhere else in Cardiff has a Mixed Shawarma with freshly made bread for such a low price. Very satisfied, highly recommend.

Greatest Shawarma I have ever had in my life. The mixed Shawarma offered great value at £5.00 was mouthwateringly delicious, most definitely worth a detour if you are ever near Laziz. From the meat to the sauce and the vegetables, this wrap is amongst the greatest foods I have ever been blessed to taste in my life. I strongly recommend a visit to Laziz, it will definitely not disappoint. I give Laziz a strong 5 stars for its combination of kind staff, amazing food, cosy atmosphere and food that is out of this world.

Hands down the best and tastiest shawarma i have ever eaten! I have tried so many shawarma spots in the UK but nothing beats this one. The quality of meat is good, the quantity is amazing and the prices are cheap as compared to other places. Truly laziz 🤌🏻

Came here witha group of 8 friends during the bank Holiday weekend. They all ordered breakfast but I went for the Kobedah and rice and I have to say it was absolutely delicious. The Kobedah has so much flavour and the rice was very tasty. Service was outstanding. Would highly recommend this place. And will definitely come again if in Cardiff.

The chef came to our table and asked about our order, giving us some great recommendations. He was really nice and knew a lot about the menu, which made our dining experience even better. Because of his help, we ended up choosing a fantastic meal. The kebab we got was so good – really tender and delicious. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming. We've decided that we're definitely coming back here again.

Staff was helpful and courteous, they were not very busy but short on staff. We had to wait nearly 1.25hrs before food served, it tasted OK but it was proper cold not warm at all. We had 9 different dishes orders and hardly one of them was hot enough. Pair who served the food was helpful, probably shortage of staff let us down. There is off road parking but difficult to find one free.

Stopping by after the rugby had (by far) the best kebab I've ever had, with chips. Premises simple but immaculate. All side salads etc looking fresh & just prepared. Staff polite and friendly. Couldn't recommend more highly.

I think I can speak for alot of people when I say this place is one of a kind, the best kebab ever portion was great probably the first time Ive managed to finish a kebab, service was excellent if Im ever in the area again I will definitely be coming back to this place
