The St. Regis Aspen Resort offers luxurious accommodation in a majestic building, featuring apartment-style rooms and an inviting outdoor pool. Indulge in upscale apres ski dining at Mountain Social, where guests can savor top-notch drinks and cocktails while enjoying live music and stunning views of downtown Aspen from the outdoor patio. The resort's prime location at the base of Aspen Mountain provides easy access to skiing and other activities.
Having visited this property every year for more than a dozen years, I have always recognized the rooms, location, service, and overall experience at the hotel to be terrific. My visit this week elevated that view based upon the outstanding service in Mountain Social Lounge. Over several days, I had the opportunity to meet and get to know Khan on the Mountain Social team. He epitomizes the thoughtful and anticipatory care and service that is essential to the guest experience at the St. Regis Aspen. Khan is an exceptional ambassador of the culture of guest service expected at a St. Regis property. Such an engaging young man with a great recall of names and preferences. Khan really delivered on the promise of an “exquisite” guest experience.

We stayed at the St. Regis Aspen for 4 nights and unfortunately had a very difficult experience. Our original room’s A/C wasn’t working—engineering came the first night, but it still didn’t cool the second night. They returned at 11pm and attempted repairs with a drill the second night, but the issue wasn’t resolved. We had to leave the windows open, but our room faced a road under construction and was loud early in the morning. Both nights rendered us sleepless as we were also trying to adjust to the altitude. The next day, we were told we’d been “upgraded” to a deluxe double, but it looked identical to our original superior double—just now facing the courtyard instead. For someone struggling with altitude sickness, being moved to a louder room wasn’t helpful, and it didn’t feel like a meaningful upgrade—just a basic swap with functioning A/C. That third night, the courtyard (now our view) was blasting music, which we weren’t warned about when they moved us. I had to call and ask when it would stop—something that could’ve easily been disclosed, especially since Snow Lodge is such a prominent feature of the property. After the music finally stopped, the power in the room went out. We were told the city lost power, but when we asked a local friend, they said they hadn’t experienced any outage. I was sick, sleep-deprived, and overwhelmed, and ended up in tears at the front desk. The staff were polite and did their best, but being told to “calm down” in that moment was deeply frustrating. I know some things were out of their control, but it was just one issue after another. Three sleepless nights from the heat can get to you. To be clear, most of the staff was lovely throughout—everyone we interacted with was kind, professional, and genuinely tried to help. The rooms were beautifully designed, and the property itself is stunning. But at this price point, basic comforts like reliable air conditioning shouldn’t be a question. The most frustrating part was how the situation was handled—kind people following what felt like inflexible or out-of-touch policies. We didn’t want special treatment—just a working room to rest in during a hot summer stay. We were eventually offered one night comped (the cheapest night) and some F&B credit, but for a hotel of this caliber, we expected more. There were still some highlights worth mentioning: the complimentary shuttle to and from Aspen airport was incredibly convenient and well-run, the concierge team was knowledgeable and helpful, and we really enjoyed the interactive BMW experience on-site. The pool staff, in particular, was warm and attentive and made that part of our stay genuinely relaxing. We appreciated those moments—there just weren’t enough of them to outweigh the overall disruption.

$2,000 a Night for This? Unacceptable Service. Do not waste your money on the St. Regis Aspen. For a resort that charges over $2,000 per night, the experience is shockingly bad. The service is an absolute disgrace. It is evident that the resort heavily relies on J1 visa workers, and the lack of investment in a permanent, professional staff is glaringly obvious. The communication barrier was significant, as many staff members did not speak good English, making simple requests difficult and frustrating. Call it what it is, young, cheap, and Inexperienced labor that doesn’t care. This is not a criticism of them seeking work, but a severe criticism of the hotel for choosing this as a cost-saving measure at the direct expense of guest experience. When you pay a premium price, you expect a premium, well-trained, and fluent staff. You will not find it here. This lack of experience and expertise trickles all the way up, as even managers seemed out of their depth and unable to resolve issues. The food at the restaurant was forgettable, and the staff had zero knowledge of the menu or wine pairings, which was the final straw. This was, without a doubt, the worst value I have ever received at a luxury resort. I stay at five-star properties for seamless, high-quality service, and this was the opposite. I would never stay here again.

I had such a wonderful stay at the St. Regis Aspen! The room was beautiful—spacious, comfortable, and a perfect retreat after exploring Aspen. The food and drinks throughout the property were consistently excellent, making it easy to relax and enjoy without having to leave the hotel. That said, the true highlight of my trip was the service at the pool. Satya went above and beyond every single day—he not only provided impeccable service, but also remembered us, our preferences, and made us feel truly cared for. His warmth and attention to detail elevated the entire experience and made our stay unforgettable. The St. Regis is always a special place, but Satya made it exceptional. I can’t wait to return!

I am a longtime Marriott ambassador elite customer and I have stayed at the St. Regis Aspen multiple times with family. I recently booked a room (in the offseason) on the residence side for a business stay. Additionally, I made a reservation for breakfast and received a call a week later that the hotel was closed. I asked management why I was not told the hotel was closed during the reservation. Why would anyone want to stay at a hotel when it is closed? I reached out to the general manager of the hotel and the residence and was told they could not help me. I obviously was very upset being a loyal customer. I had the ambassador team also reach out on my behalf and they told me the St. Regis would not help with the situation. I ended up booking at the Hotel Jerome and spoke with their management and they were quite suprised I was treated this way being a loyal Marriott and St. Regis Aspen customer.. I would avoid the St. Regis Aspen at all costs and book your future stay with Hotel Jerome or Little Nell!

We stayed here for 4 nights Sep 2025. We had to wait 3 hours to check-in before our room was finally ready. We were not offered any compensation. The room was small and expensive. The carpet and couch were stained. The water closet was very small (~2.5ft wide). There was limited counterspace in the bathroom. Room service food was average (we were delivered blueberries with mold). Dining in-person at the Velvet Buck was better. The staff is friendly but undertrained. Difficult to recommend at this price point.

On July 6 we were charged on our credit card $8,698.65 for an August 1 to August 6 stay. On July I was admitted to the hospital for emergency surgery so we had to cancel our reservation. The hotel would not refund our deposit. After an appeal for them to reconsider, they offered to bank our deposit for a future stay within a year. If we were relatively young, that would be OK, but we’re in our late 70’s with an uncertain health situation. We would prefer a full refund. To be clear, the hotel is in it’s legal rights not to make any concession. What we are asking as long time Bonvoy members is an equitable resolution.

Our stay at the St. Regis was nothing short of 5 stars. While the property was stunning and conveniently located right off Ajax the true star of the show is the exemplary staff. We stayed in the Aspen Mountain Suite which had windows facing both the mountain and the courtyard. The room was incredibly spacious and had so many nice touches to including the Baccarat Glass collection that felt almost too beautiful to use and SO many cute Hermes accessories including a cashmere blanket that was a nice touch for the cold mountain nights. Our room opened up to a spacious foyer with plenty of room for luggage and shoes. Immediately to the right of the entrance was a large coat closet and then a bathroom, perfect for guests. The foyer opened up to the living room, which was large and perfect for hosting. (The kids loved running and rolling around this space) To the left of the living room is the dining room and kitchen. Dining room comfortably sat 6-8 people. Kitchen was large and had a full sized fridge stocked with delicious drinks, the kitchen had a small stove (2 burner) and large sink area and plentiful countertop space. Complimentary treats were on the counter top as well as small liquor bottles for purchase. The bedroom was at the opposite end of the suite, farthest from the courtyard windows. The bedroom had many nice features, One King bed and some of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever slept on. A moderately sized desk on the opposite end of the room. A VERY spacious bathroom with a single sink, perfect for my husband in a separate section on the right side of the bathroom. As you walk further, there is a very large counter space with sink “for her”. The perfect vanity space to lay out all my cosmetics and hair tools. At the end of the bathroom was a small closet and a very deep tub perfect for a warm soak after an exhausting day out. Now for my highs and lows of the overall experience. High- The Customer service! I called down to concierge services around 7pm-ish to order food. Unfortunately my cravings weren’t on the menu so I thought I’d ask if it was possible to order out popcorn, candies & chocolates. The concierge unsure if she could accommodate my request asked if she could check and call me back. Of course I waited patiently for a return call and not 10 minutes had passed when she called up to the room to let me know that this was not a request they could accommodate tonight but would be happy to get it organized and delivered to the room in the morning. Unfortunately this isn’t my idea of a hearty breakfast so I declined. I know the request was a reach since the local grocery closes early and would probably be cutting it close. Either way I highly appreciated the effort! Low- Sound levels, the courtyard was hosting a lively party one night and while we were a couple floors up with the windows closed, the noise still came through and could be heard very clearly though to the living room. Luckily the bedroom noise was unaffected being that it was on the other end of the suite and I must mention that the party was over by 8/9 so it really didn’t affect my personal sleep schedule. Low- Toilet Paper, For a hotel that payed such high attention to detail, I felt that they could have tried a little harder on the toilet paper. They provided a measly one ply toilet paper, I was almost inclined to go purchase my own paper. Overall a wonderful stay, I’m excited to explore the property more in the future!

Hotel Jerome, Auberge Resorts Collection is a luxurious hotel located in Aspen, housed in a historic building dating back to 1889. Following an extensive renovation, the hotel now offers 99 guest rooms designed with a mountain aesthetic featuring wood and stud accents. Guests can enjoy exclusive access to curated events such as special chefs dinners and entry to the Casa Dragones Cocktail and Caviar Lounge at the hotel's pool.
This hotel did not disappoint! Location is great, restaurant was delicious, bar drink options and service were top notch. The staff is incredible, polite and prompt if you need assistance. There is an outdoor dining area which is popular - it’s Aspen and the weather is perfect. The only con is if your room faces the main street there’s a lot of traffic noise but tolerable.

This is a really historic and interesting hotel. It’s so western and moody, it’s hard not to catch a vibe here. The lobby is huge and full of character— I love the layout too so there was no bottleneck at check in. The rooftop terrace is soooo cute. I love how it’s tucked away but still really spacious. The views are insane up there too. Service is all around great here. The bartenders are all so friendly. The matcha margarita was delicious and they didn’t skimp on the tequila. Love all the wall paper and the whole aesthetic of this place. Hope to visit and stay here again soon!

The staff at the Hotel Jerome was absolutely fabulous. I came there from another hotel because my husband loved photography and we heard it was a nice place to take photos. The greeting staff person was absolutely welcoming and let us know that there was a special event that we could even join. We thought that was special because usually, if you're not a guest, staff doesn't accommodate you. We had a nice time taking photos, participating in the event, and then, when we were leaving the front desk staff offered my husband and I bottles of water on our way out since it was a hot day. Next time I visit Aspen, I will be staying at this location.

Amazing stay at hotel Jerome! Was here for a conference. Hotel has a lovely shuttle that stole the show… timely, responsive, friendly. Picked me up from conference and took me to airport … who does that? The room was classic: posh, roomy, luxurious, with windows that crack open for fresh air … humidifier included. If I’m ever back in Aspen this is my hotel! Shout outs to Indra, Murilo, front desk staff … Bar Jerome is also a nice touch. Pricey but nice.

I didn't stay here but I went here for an event en route to the airport and these people didn't hesitate to store my bags and offered me a ride to the airport as a complimentary gesture and did it all in earnest. Plus they are all dressed as cowboys (that's right y'all)!!! Kindest cowboys I ever did meet. One day I hope to be rich enough to stay here for a night. 🤞

I was recetly in Hotel Jermoe for breakfast and my experience couldn't have been better. I always enjoy going with my friends and having a warm, friendly time at this location. The service was excellent, as always. I'd like to highlight a couple of names who made the experience even better. Katie, Omar, and Misha were all great! Katie always checked on us, very nice and welcoming. Misha was very attentive, and Omar was such a nice person; very friendly and professional. Thank you for the great experience!

The Little Nell is a luxurious ski-in/ski-out hotel located in Aspen, offering top-notch amenities and exceptional customer service. With stunning mountain views and acclaimed restaurants, this upscale resort provides an ideal retreat for global travelers seeking rejuvenation and Alpine experiences. The 92-room property, situated at the base of the primary ski lift, underwent renovations to create modern and luxurious guest rooms. The refined restaurant features a variety of dining options using locally sourced ingredients.
The Little Nell is truly a world-class experience from start to finish. The hotel team was exceptional—attentive, gracious, and incredibly professional. Every detail was handled with care, making our stay seamless and luxurious - ever for our yellow lab Hank! I loved how the valet would hold the car door open for him when he would get in the car - Hank felt like a VIP too! Element 47 was a standout. From the creative, perfectly executed menu to the thoughtful service, dining there was a highlight. I also hosted a private dinner for a group of VIP clients, and the experience was nothing short of perfection. The staff went above and beyond to ensure every element was flawless—our guests couldn’t stop raving about the ambiance, the cuisine, and the overall execution. If you’re looking for elegance, impeccable service, and an unforgettable Aspen experience, The Little Nell delivers on all fronts. I can't wait to return!

My wife and I stayed here while in Aspen in July 2025 and we were quite pleased with all aspects of our stay. The hotel staff were attentive and helpful with every request we had, providing top-tier service expected of a five-star hotel. Our room was spacious, spotless, and elegantly appointed, with thoughtful touches that made our stay feel comfortable and luxurious. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, housekeeping was prompt and thorough. All aspects of comfort were provided to us without us having to ask for them. The one minor concern I had was that the air conditioning seemingly wouldn't go below 70 degrees, but the engineering team came and got our room nice and cool for the warm summer evenings, even taking the time to take temperature readings around the room. We also appreciated the hotel’s amenities, including a lovely pool and spa with a sauna and inviting lounge areas. I should mention for fellow travelers that a notable portion of the clientele had, just in my opinion, a somewhat ostentatious vibe that may not appeal to everyone, but that’s more a reflection of Aspen itself than the hotel. Overall, our experience was seamless from check-in to check-out. This property delivered everything we hoped for in a high-end Aspen stay, and we would gladly return.

The Little Nell staff was so carefully trained and paid such close attention to hospitality. As a hotel owner, I understand the challenges it takes to run a boutique hotel and they've done a phenomenal job. In an age where true hostility is fading The Little Nell is a true gem.

The Gant is a luxurious condominium resort nestled in the picturesque Aspen, Colorado ski resort area. Boasting modern condos equipped with kitchens, this mountain retreat offers an array of amenities including outdoor pools, tennis courts, and dining options. Whether you're visiting for leisure or business, The Gant provides a perfect setting with access to world-class skiing and downtown Aspen. The hotel's conference center features indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, a panoramic rooftop terrace, and convenient business services.
My recent stay at the Gant was extraordinary! The location is only about 2 blocks from the main downtown area. They provided reliable, convenient, on-time, free transportation to and from the airport. The concierge, Marty, was so helpful in booking reservations to amazing restaurants and activities. The amenities were great, including a wonderful outdoor pool and hot-tub area. The room was very clean and well-serviced. The on-site restaurant was outstanding and super convenient, especially for breakfast. I cannot say enough good things about the staff. Everyone was willing to go out of their way to make sure I had an awesome experience. Everyone made me feel so welcome and they were excited to recommend fun things to do in town. This is hospitality at it's finest. From now on, the Gant will be the only place I'll ever stay when I visit. Thank you for such a pleasant time in Aspen.

What an incredible stay at The Gant in Aspen. The property was gorgeous and the amenities were fantastic. The location could not be better -- panoramic views of Aspen mountain -- a 5 minute walk to the Aspen gondola and to City Market for groceries -- tucked away in a quiet yet convenient area of Aspen away from tons of foot traffic. They also offered an on-demand shuttle with friendly drivers always waiting to take us wherever we needed to go. Our room was beautiful -- comfortable, spacious, and with all the amenities needed to relax and make dinner. Large balcony had tons of privacy and overlooked a lovely spruce grove. We enjoyed the hot tubs and the saltwater pool every night to relax. But above anything, the customer service was incredible and the staff really went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Thank you so much to Daphne, Spencer, Claudia and Lou for taking care of us. We will continue to stay at The Gant for special occasions and recommend the property to everyone we know!

We had a wonderful stay at The Gant in Aspen! The property is beautiful, perfectly located, and just minutes from downtown and the slopes. Our condo was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The staff went above and beyond—friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with recommendations or shuttle service around town. The heated pools and hot tubs were a perfect way to relax after skiing, and the complimentary shuttle made getting around Aspen so easy. The Gant truly combines the comfort of home with the service of a luxury resort. Highly recommend The Gant to anyone visiting Aspen—we can’t wait to come back!

We had the best fall stay at The Gant. We stayed here overnight before visiting maroon bells in the morning. Sierra at the front desk was so welcoming and hospitable for our stay, she’s the reason why I felt compelled to leave a 5-star review … besides the excellent accommodations, the views, the location, heated pool/hot tubs and the excellent shuttle service that helps you zip around town! We booked our reservation via VRBO for an off-season booking so the rates were below average but the quality of our stay was well above average compared to any other VRBO or hotel option in the area. The Gant cares about their guests and if you have questions about the area, if you need an earlier check-in, restaurant recommendations, you name it, they will try their best to help you out during your stay. Highly recommended for your next stay in Aspen. May the Lord continue to bless you and guide you in your ways Sierra! Proverbs 3:5-6

Stayed at The Gant recently and had a great experience. The front office team, especially Alex, was super helpful with check-in and answering questions throughout the stay. The bell staff was very friendly. They helped with bags and gave us great advice on getting around. One of the highlights was a horseback riding spot they recommended nearby, which was absolutely beautiful and ended up being one of the best parts of the trip. The shuttle service they provided was super easy to get to and from the airport. This spot is perfect for walking to and from town. Will definitely stay again!

Extremely Disappointed & Buyer Beware – Misrepresented “Premier” Unit and No Resolution We booked a 2-bedroom, 2-bath Premier unit at The Gant in Aspen for July 5–13, 2025, paying $10,557 in advance. We fully intended to stay — we arrived with all our luggage ready to check in. Unfortunately, what followed was a deeply disappointing experience that ultimately forced us to vacate the property the same day due to uninhabitable conditions. Upon check-in, we were assigned to Unit K102, which was not a Premier unit, contrary to what was advertised and sold to us. The unit was unsanitary, smelled strongly of sewage and cooked meat, and had clear signs of neglect: Stained carpet and soiled furniture, Filthy stove and microwave, Heavy pet hair on floor, Strong, odors throughout the unit (including through the vents). We tried to air the unit out for over two hours, but the odors remained. The room was nothing close to in line with what the Gant describes on its website as “Premier” — which are supposed to be the most recently renovated units with high-end furnishings and appliances. The furnishings were dated, dirty, and unclean. The appliances were filthy. After raising our concerns with management, they offered us only one other option — Unit H103, which unfortunately also had the same sewage smell and dated and unclean interior. We were told no other units were available due to the holiday weekend. A staff member even stated that "all the really nice units are taken because the owners are here this weekend". After spending three hours trying to resolve this with hotel management, were offered 10% off. We were forced to leave because the rooms were uninhabitable and not as advertised. We documented the issues and emailed Guest Services explaining clearly why we had to vacate. If you're booking based on the expectation of a Premier unit, Double-check what you’re actually getting, and be aware that the hotel may not have the promised inventory available, especially during busy times. As of today, the hotel still has the $10,000 we paid, refusing to refund, despite us never staying at the hotel.

Nestled in the historic west end of Aspen, Colorado, Aspen Meadows Resort offers a modern Bauhaus-style retreat on 40 acres of scenic grounds. The resort boasts 98 spacious guest suites with stunning views of the Roaring Fork River and the surrounding ski mountains. Each suite is well-equipped with modern amenities for a comfortable stay. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to various outdoor activities such as winter sports, mountain biking, hiking, and more.
Lovely resort. Large self catering house with every convenience. Great resort very close to summer music concert halls. Useful shuttle bus to centre of town. Coffee shop and restaurant.

The service is top notch. Anytime you need anything there's always someone to help. The restaurant is wonderful, and I like the fact there's a cafe downstairs for breakfast, in case you don't need a heavy meal for breakfast. The transportation is the highlight, they can take you (and pick you up) to and from the airport, downtown, or the ski areas. So convenient. If I had to nitpick, the top floors could be more insulated (or thicker, more solid?) as we can hear the thumping of footsteps from the floor above. It gets annoying as you try to sleep. All in all, it's a super place.

Magnificent stay. The accommodations look a little dated on the outside but very nice on the inside. Wonderful Nespresso coffee in room and an amazing steamer for ironing, small touches that I value. Amazing art, excellent restaurant, and the most beautiful scenery. I would stay here again. They also have e-bikes to rent for free for 30 minutes. It’s an easy ride to town.

Room has a minor problem, staff came to fix right away, the most helpful thing was probably the texting system with the hotel, fast response, very reliable, always there. The only thing to remind yourself is that it’s a bit of a walk to go to all amenities from your room like the pool, gym etc. It was cold in the winter 🥶

⭐☆☆☆☆ Beauty spot, but not beautiful service Aspen Meadows Resort is a stunning setting mountains, art, aspen trees, meadows, and crisp Colorado air. The accommodation? Think posh hall of residence. Sadly, the service is so bad it should be classified as performance art (or student jobs training). Breakfast & lunch adventures: Cold food sent back to be reheated. Cold chips! Toast ordered, never arrived, perhaps still wandering the Rockies. Milk madness: Once “out of jugs” in the restaurant, so milk was served in a teacup. Later, when asking for milk for the room, I was asked if I preferred decaf or caffeinated milk. Who knew dairy had an energy rating? Tea troubles: Asked for tea bags—told “we don’t do that.” Directed to wait at reception for housekeeping. Pushed again, and voilà! A box appeared. The solution? Microwave a mug of water like a college dorm DIY. Afternoon ghost town: Returned from a hike at 4:16 pm Sunday, terrace and bar deserted. Front desk advised not to disturb staff, they were in a meeting. When we finally ordered tea for two, we were asked: “Where did you see a sign saying we do tea?” (To be fair, they did then comp us the tea!) Front desk wisdom: Asked how to reach Independence Pass. First: blank stares. Second: “Just take Route 82.” We’d flown in from London without a car. Asked about excursions? “Get a cab.” Inspirational! Thank goodness for Uber ! Rooms: First impression, musty. AC/heating unit wheezed and clattered like a snoring roommate with mood swings. Vibe: college dorm with altitude. Housekeeping: Room service trays ( not ours) sat outside a shared entrance for over 48 hours. A new art installation, perhaps? Breakfast finale: Sunday steak = perfect. Monday steak = not. Explanation? “Chef doesn’t really know the difference between medium and medium rare.” Comforting. Tea pot tragedy: At 10am, no tea pots, because they hadn’t been washed from the day before. Staff explanation: the evening shift was overwhelmed, so maybe, if the pot washer caught up, we might get one before checkout. Checking out: Even printing the bill was a saga. Two PCs, neither could connect to the printer. Bonus mystery: An odd charge appeared on the card before checkout. Resort fee, perhaps? ($50/day for Internet, transfers, pickleball, snowshoes, and art galleries. What it doesn’t buy: toast, tea, or timely service.) One bright spot: Northora, who gamely washed a teapot herself to help us out. She deserves recognition. We came all the way from the UK for a friend’s wedding. The beauty of Aspen delivered; the resort sadly did not. Come for the scenery, not the service.

I stayed here for a leadership conference/retreat and it was fantastic! The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The campus and grounds are lovely. The gym is fantastic and nice for working out early when it was still dark. There were a few bear sightings at night (late September). The food was delicious and every meal was very creative and fresh - lots of vegetables and fruits. It’s conveniently located to downtown Aspen. It’s about a 20 minute walk, there are bikes you can rent, and a shuttle that runs to the downtown and one to the airport. It was a great week and the last day was my birthday and the resort left me a pastry and card - it was very thoughtful! Highly recommend.

Gorgeous location right along the Roaring Fork River and the Rio Grande hiking trail. Lots of amenities, great food, lap pool, gym, and great view of the mountains.

The Aspen Meadows Resort is great. The rooms are large and clean. The location is outside the downtown Aspen area which I enjoyed, and they offer a downtown shuttle that runs all day. The parking garage isn’t huge, but we never had an issue finding a space when we went in October. We plan to visit again.

The Limelight Hotel is a trendy and vibrant accommodation option that caters to various types of travelers, whether they are visiting for a ski trip, outdoor activities, family vacation, or a romantic getaway. The hotel provides excellent service and amenities in an ideal location. The rooms and suites feature contemporary mountain decor with spacious layouts, modern amenities such as iPod docking stations and Keurig coffee makers, as well as luxurious bath products.
We booked this hotel last minute for NYE (as our son got booked for an entertainment job also last minute) and it was a great decision! The hotel location is fantastic and easily within walking distance to shopping, dining, skiing, and more. Our room was a great size for a family of four and had excellent and functional storage and room amenities. The breakfast buffet that was included was really impressive and beyond just a typical “hotel breakfast” situation. Fresh green juice, huge assortment of breakfast foods and pastries and excellent Italian coffee. The hotel itself was decorated festively for the holidays and had a very family-friendly vibe. We enjoyed the hot tubs with freshly-fallen snow all around us and striking views of the slopes right from our room patio. This is a great place to know about when we travel to Aspen and I hope we have occasion to visit in the future!

Super helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are well equipped, spacious, clean and comfy. Any time I needed a recommendation for food or coffee the staff always gave me fantastic spots to try. This was my first time in Aspen and I definitely enjoyed my stay. I also love that it’s pet friendly! You’ll always see the cutest/sweetest dogs when you’re here. The airport transport is also a big plus.

We stayed at the Limelight for four days and enjoyed it immensely. It is luxurious, quiet, spotless, comfortable and spacious with an excellent staff. We stayed in a Luxury King room for four nights and had plenty of room. The quality of everything was high-end (loved the big, fluffy bath towels) and there was plenty of storage for all our luggage, etc. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding with a large selection of healthy foods and treats too! We also had dinner there the first night we arrived - the wild mushroom & pesto pizza and the cookie skillet were both delicious! The location is great and it's close to hiking trails, restaurants and shopping. We liked the convenience of the underground parking garage, and we also used the complimentary bikes for a ride on the Rio Grande Trail.

What a great place to stay! I also saw quite a few -obviously NOT service - dogs staying in the hotel. Yet it smelled clean. Felt and looked clean, too. We did use room service - good was good. I was attending a show at Belly-Up. It’s less than a five minute walk to the venue. Everyone was friendly, helpful, nice. I would most def stay here again.

We stayed 3 nights at Limelight Aspen as we had a family wedding I can honestly say it’s the best 3 nights sleep I’ve had in any hotel. The hotel is beautiful very understated and modern the staff cannot do enough for you so friendly and polite. The free coffee was an unexpected bonus as was the lovely food we could purchase while watching the football in the lounge. If we didn’t live in the UK we would definitely be back to this hotel Aspen is beautiful as are the people.

The service at Limelight is truly outstanding! Every staff member was so kind and helpful throughout my stay. Even though I’m from Vietnam, I felt completely welcomed and respected just like any other guest. Their warmth and professionalism made my trip extra special. Highly recommend Limelight for anyone who appreciates great hospitality and genuine kindness

My forth time in Limelight Aspen and my stay at the hotel was absolutely perfect. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Aspen with stunning views of the mountains. The staff was warm, attentive, and always helpful. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable. Every detail—from the cozy ambiance to the high-end amenities—made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing stay in Aspen!

The best hotel for the local Aspen experience. The rooms are gorgeous and so spacious, location right on Wagner Park and a short walk to the slopes can’t be beat, and Limelight’s lounge is Aspen’s “living room” with live music, fireplace and great vibes for hanging out even if you aren’t staying in the hotel. And the food/drinks are awesome and less expensive than most other places in town. Great spot for a laid back group dinner or a cozy cocktail!

The hotel is located in the heart of Aspen and offers a heated outdoor pool and a bar. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with free breakfast every morning.
We were blown away by their service. Alan at the desk was super helpful and their breakfast was a pleasant surprise after having regular complimentary breakfast at chain hotels during our road trip. They had two hot breakfast options for the guests that are made to order. Fresh fruits that are continually replenished, juices, teas, coffee and breads and pastries. All served in a spacious dining hall by kind staff. The hotel has a beautiful pool that we didn’t get to use. The hotel layout is maze like, but worth it. Bathrooms are nice and clean, and comfortable beds.

Do not go to this hotel if you can avoid it. I paid $265 and I got room with a low ceiling. It was very warm and the a/c did not cool it properly. The room was facing the swimming pool and you must close the curtain if you want privacy. The breakfast was just adequate, and there was not much to choose form. The pillows were thick and it was impossible to get a good night sleep. The bathroom is small and you would not feel like taking a shower. The charge you for parking. DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL
Jacob A — Google review
I really loved the location! It was very beautiful the room was very clean. Most importantly, the scenic view was great. We could see the mountains and we enjoyed it. Their dining was very large, and breakfast service was good too. The only thing is in our room there wasn't a microwave but there was one in the lobby. So, if someone needs it, can use it from there.

What a special little place! Affordable, cozy Aspen stay. Staff was absolutely exceptional - from great dinner recommendations at the front desk (Acquolina - WOW) to the friendliest breakfast service ever. In a wild coincidence, we ended up staying there during the John Denver annual celebration - a joyful singalong in the lobby for hours - so fun!
Ya'el C — Google review
Older hotel with an amazing location right downtown Aspen! Why pay for a chain hotel in Glenwood Springs when for the same price you can get an economy room at the Mountain Chalet, which includes a delicious breakfast! Friendly staff, dog friendly, comfortable beds, vintage furnishings (some still from 1954 when they opened). Rooms are older with clean and comfortable beds, lots of towels, shampoo and soap (bring your conditioner). The reviews from other people who complain about the price, it’s nothing compared to some of the prices of rooms in Aspen. So great that there’s an affordable hotel in a premium location!
Daisy — Google review
We chose to stay at this place because it was one of the cheapest around/in Aspen and it fit our budget. However, I will say it definitely surpassed our expectations! The rooms were nice and clean, nothing special. Beds were comfortable, and the bathroom a bit small but it was fine. The location is great, being at short walking distance from almost anything in the city, but I suppose that comes with the smallness of Aspen. The breakfast was probably one of the highlights, as they serve a different special/entree each day (on the days we were there they had scrambled eggs with sausage, eggs benedict, and veggie omelet) and they also have a great selection at the bar to choose from (all of which tasted great!), even a machine to make freshly squeezed orange juice! Also, the kitchen staff are attentive and make sure you enjoy your breakfast. The place has some nice amenities like a swimming pool, jacuzzi, lobby with complementary coffee and cookies, and computers with access to a printer. TV in the room also had plenty of good channels so we could relax for a bit and enjoy some good shows/movies during our down time Also, we went hiking and camping around the area and then stayed another couple of nights when we came back. They allowed us to leave our car parked in their garage for all of that time, which was nice of them. Overall very pleased with this place and would definitely stay here again if I ever came back to Aspen!
Dany N — Google review
The Mountain Chalet Aspen was a very nice place to stay at in Aspen! The room was clean and everything was working properly, TV (numerous channels), water pressure in the shower and sink. Nice amenities like a fitness room, heated outdoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas, however these were not operational during our time there. There was a game room with a pool table also. They breakfast was great every morning and included.! There was tight limited parking under the property that you had to navigate to, so big sized vehicles would not work. There was an elevator from the parking level to all the other floors though. We appreciated the staff, because they allowed us to watch 2 dogs for a short period of time prior to my son's wedding. We had to pay a pet fee of $30, which was fine. The hotel has the big park in front and it is very close to the pedestrian walkway. Also the hotel is within walking distance to the cable ride up to Aspen Mountain. We would definitely consider staying here in the future. So high marks for the hotel.

An older hotel and we enjoyed that fact. Parking underneath, walking distance to everything! There's a game room of board games and such. Pool table by the pool. 4 minute walk to the Gondola...which we absolutely enjoyed! Can't wait to stay again!

The hotel offers free shuttle services to nearby areas and is equipped with two outdoor hot tubs, a fire pit, courtyard, waterfall pond, and garden.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Annabelle Inn. The staff was absolutely the best! Our room was perfect and had a great balcony view. The breakfast was perfect! The location was perfect! A few blocks from the activity of downtown which made things nice and quiet. That being said, it was still completely walkable to everything! We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Aspen!

David and Anne are the greatest hosts and they made our stay so enjoyable. We came the first weekend of October to catch the foliage and they were so helpful with how to get around (walking, bus, drive, ect.) town. They were also just so kind and wanted to know all about our plans and were so helpful with the amenities Annebelle Inn had to offer. The quiche during breakfast is on point. 👍🏻 I don’t do reviews often but I loved this place and will definitely recommend and return.

First time to Aspen and The Annabelle Inn got good reviews and the location was within walking distance of the downtown area and provided easy access to Maroon Bells which is why we chose it. Our room looked out at the ski area as well and they appeared very accommodating for skiers. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. The hospitality was above expectations as were the accommodations. We needed to get to Maroon Bells by 8 so missed breakfast the first day but they packed us a cooler to take with us. Highly recommend the Annabelle Inn.

I have stayed at the Annabelle Inn 3 times now. I love the staff and how attentive they are. The rooms are nice, clean, and comfortable. They recognized my birthday in a special way and this was my first stay. The next two stays they knew who I was when I walked in and by name. Location would be a 5 if I could parallel park!

Amazing clean quiet hotel with surrounding mountain views. Only 5 mins stroll to the town, and 10 mins to the gondola lift. Hotel parking available. Free shuttle bus outside the hotel which can take you to the Maroon Bells (recommended) The hosts were lovely, kind, and informative. Def recommend!

We would highly recommend the Annabelle Inn. The customer service was top notch. David was amazing and very helpful. The location was very convenient to downtown Aspen and walkable. The inn was beautifully decorated and very clean. Our room was great and just as we imagined. Breakfast was included and very good. Daily cookies were a nice touch!

The Annabelle Inn called 6 lifelong friends to its luxurious doors and surpassed all expectations! One of our group remarked “the ample space, gorgeous views, and warm hospitality” left him wanting to stay longer; another, that a “hot tub big enough to fit 6 dudes at the same time” is a skier and hiker’s dream come true; while another recalled a simple “delicious quiche” that hit the spot! Look at the pic shared on this review and understand the Annabelle Inn is for you, and will make your Aspen dreams come true🫶.

Nestled in the heart of the Roaring Fork Valley, Aspen Mountain Lodge offers simply furnished rooms and suites, some featuring mountain-view balconies. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast and access to a pool. The lodge is conveniently located near various winter recreational activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling.
Aspen Mountain Lodge was an amazing stay. The room was sizable enough to keep two ski bags and two suitcases. The staff was super kind and provided great service with quick cleaning, providing extra towels and blankets, holding our luggage even for 6 hours while we figured out our situation after a flight cancellation. The included breakfast, fruits, happy hour made taking care of energy before/during/after snowboarding so convenient. The lounge downstairs was very spacious and had plugs so I could easily lounge while getting work done. Location was super convenient too. Walking to downtown was only 10 minutes and a very enjoyable walk passing by Paepcke park, Exhibition Bookstore, etc. Easy access to the bus stops to go to and from the snow resorts. Had such a great time staying here. Would definitely come back!

I stayed here for a conference about a month ago and was a bit hesitant after reading some of the reviews. I approached management with everything I had read and he was very open to my concerns. He went line by line about how the team had addressed the valid concerns that were lifted by travelers. That alone stood out to me from a leadership perspective. Overall, my stay was fantastic, my room was clean, the team was attentive, and I slept well knowing the team truly cared. It is giving 90s ski lodge and you step back in time a bit but in the best way. As for breakfast, it was set out early and prompt. These days, I am eating whole foods. So, there were fresh fruits to grab for me daily. I can't honestly speak to the array of options or quality yet it was available and set up nicely. I'm a fan of collaborative problem solving, empathy, and active listening. I would return and stay again. If you stay here, I really hope you enjoy yourself like I did!

Great location, super friendly staff, but the mattress was pretty hard. We got back to the property one night after about 9:00 PM to find no parking - had to park like two blocks away - that would have been nice to know in advance. The food was okay, pretty healthy selections. Pets and kids and people hanging out just outside the door were all pretty noisy.

Relatively inexpensive for Aspen. Old rooms with really old bathrooms, not a lot of sunlight and old furnishings. Beds not so comfortable. Great staff!!! Rebecca was super helpful. The pool is tiny and kind of gross. Hot tub was nice. Pool furniture literally fell apart while I was sitting in it. Nice breakfast! Cozy fireplace area, and fruit and hot drinks available all day long.

I do NOT recommend this hotel at ALL!!!! I’ve stayed at a good amount of hotels but this has to be the worst one of all! This hotel gives the same vibes as a motel. When I arrived the first day, my shower had hair in it. I tried going to the front desk to complain but no one was there. Then I wanted to look outside at the view because I said surely I could get over the hair in the shower, so I raised the blinds and then the tab to help raise the blinds broke! I then saw that the bath stopper was completely broken too! On top of that I didn’t notice the first day because I was so exhausted from the flight but the second day I got into bed and there were BLOOD STAINS ON THE SHEETS!!!! I texted the maintenance hotline once I noticed because again no one was at the front desk. They told me someone would get back with me but no one ever did. But, wait it gets better. The walls here are so thin that while I was waiting for maintenance I fell asleep and awoke abruptly because I could HEAR THE PEOPLE ABOVE ME HAVING SEX!!!! I am so happy I am leaving this hotel tomorrow smh. This is a shame. I am leaving pictures below. If Google would let me I would post the video too of the people upstairs. Horrible horrible horrible!!!!
Daralynne — Google review
This place hasn’t been renovated since 1985. whatever no big deal but the air conditioning is so loud and shitty. The pillows are hard and terrible. It’s not a comfortable place. it could be so inexpensive for them to just update the AC so it’s not so loud, or add central air since there is central heat.
John W — Google review
The rooms were abysmal. I’ve stayed in hostels all over the world and am not a picky traveler but this was hands down the worst value I’ve ever seen. For the price, you’re better off camping nearby for free. Fluorescent hospital lighting, scuffed walls, sheets that felt bleached to oblivion, and supposedly “new” carpets that felt decades old. The location is great and the staff were fine but nothing can disguise a room that feels more like a hospital waiting room than a hotel.
Jessica L — Google review
The breakfast isn't conducive for healthcare workers and the hot tub is readily available during hours noted. IF you are on the first floor, it can be VERY loud, especially because people like to hang out by the beautiful fireplace! Staff are all friendly!

The Inn at Aspen is a charming mountain retreat offering a range of amenities such as a pool, restaurant, and complimentary airport shuttle service. Nestled just 3.8 km from The John Denver Sanctuary Garden, this inn provides ski-to-door access and is conveniently close to Buttermilk Ski Area and Panda Peak. With its picturesque setting amidst majestic mountains and lush forests, the inn serves as an ideal venue for both indoor and outdoor events with ample space for banquets and receptions.
Called and spoke with Rhoda, she excels at customer service. She offered me a good rate and room for the night. Shuttle driver was available and offering me a ride to the airport, which is very near, yet not noisy. Staffed really well. Tomato Soup w/ grill cheese was a great comfort dinner at their in house restaurant, Hometown BBQ. I had stayed at this location for work before last year and another time. This time the room I had was updated and renovated. Much needed and improved. The pool and spa was still under construction a year later. I know renovations take a while, hopefully that will be open my next stay. Thank you to Rhoda and all the team behind her. Giving 5 stars for the options, room, service, location.

The place was quiet and peaceful, which we appreciated. They offer free shuttle services which came in handy for getting around. Just so you know, the hot tubs were under construction when we visited, so we couldn’t use them. But overall, the hotel was quite good. One tip try to book earlier if you can. You’ll get a much better price that way!
Chanakya G — Google review
Caught this hotel at a very odd time of year. LOTS of construction happening. Flooding upper rooms down to level 1 entry door. Construction was a known at time of booking but the amount of parking lot taken over/not available and screws in washing machines were unexpected. *Definitely check the rubber gasket of washing machines before hitting start.* They also lease out a lot of their parking lot to adventure companies & a tesla super charger so parking in the evening can be rough/not convenient. Front desk is helpful and friendly. Some 8pm+ house keeping requests get lost. If you need anything get your request in early. Water bottle refill options are almost non-existent. Was refilling in gym... sometimes empty of water and a few days in one morning discovered someone had broke the handle off of water cooler all together. But a very beautiful location! And good shuttle options for in town.

This Inn sits at the bottom of Buttermilk ski slopes. This Inn is the definition of value. We all know Aspen is an expensive location. This hotel, just about 1 mile south of the airport has easy access and on-demand shuttles. The hotel has been remodeled. The rooms are clean, decorated handsomely and well lit. Despite the value for the dollars, they are tremendously friendly on every level. Front desk associates and housekeeping associates alike. There is a very nice sized refrigerator in the room for all your refrigerated goodies (freezer section could use a defrost). Mattress is firm and comfortable and the pillows are very nice, not the weak super collapsing pillows found elsewhere. USB and electrical ports by the bed on both nightstands. You can tell the bathrooms are from an old design yet updated with nice fixtures. There are no stuffs hanging from the walls inside the shower that you bang unto while showering (the stuff you need is found on the bathroom sink. Water was plentiful and good pressure. Shower head distributed the water nicely. The pool and hot tub was under construction and no doubt will be a nice addition to the summertime visitors. Coffee machine and microwave included. Nice desk with bench seats and a lamp. There could be more outlets here…as this table becomes the work table for laptops, recharging and with the lamp taking one of the two outlets, bring a power strip. Wi-Fi is also very good. OK, the restaurant/Bar. Food was plentiful and well prepared . Tasted delicious. This staff was also very friendly. Whoever the General Manager is…Doing a great job creating a very helpful culture. I saw lots of smiles. No stuffy luxury here…just solid good experience and value. Room rates are some of the best in town.

Our room was spacious and well designed, with a comfortable dining area and kitchenette — perfect for a longer stay. The hotel itself is very nice and has a free self-service cappuccino bar that we really enjoyed in the mornings. The location is great too, just a short drive from downtown Aspen. Overall, a great place to stay — comfortable, convenient, and full of nice touches.

We traveled during autumn for an anniversary trip. The highlights were the proximity to nature’s playground and the excellent service. Silver City cycles delivered e-bikes to the hotel. The pedestrian trail is just across the street and is a safe way to bike to downtown or trailheads. Very clean and comfortable rooms and common areas. Friendly and always helpful staff. Download the shuttle app for the most seamless drop off/pick up service to get to downtown restaurants & shopping, airport and fun stuff like Maroon Bells welcome center. The door-to-door service is seriously luxurious. There are enough veg options at hometown bbq, but get the grilled cheese and tomato soup. Thank you to Taylor, Fernanda, the entire shuttle team, and the crew at Hometown BBQ for being so accommodating.

Despite being a 2-star hotel, the rooms come with mini kitchenettes including a small fridge, stove, sink, and microwave.
Our group had a great stay at Tyrolean Lodge! The staff was very friendly and helpful!! The rooms had plenty of space and were well thought out to ensure it was comfortable for 5 people. We loved being able to walk downtown and access all of the mountains easily!

We had a very cute and nicely designed room. Bathroom was very clean and the water pressure was great. The staff were very kind. We enjoyed our stay there a lot. The location is great, very walkable. They also have bikes you can borrow for free:)

Absolutely the most helpful front desk staff, providing helpful advice for visiting Aspen, especially on a budget. Our room for up to 5 people was large and well maintained. This hotel has been around since 1970, and has a classic older hotel appearance but is well maintained. I would have given 5 stars if the bed was more comfortable. Sheets were older and yellowed, but clean. Pillows seemed old as well. We really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for friendly, less expensive accommodations in Aspen. The road is noisy, didn’t bother us. The location is fantastic and within walking distance of less than a half mile from most attractions, restaurants and stores.

Dont book here. I scheduled a trip in may and have reserve 2 rooms. I called in to pay remaining balance for my trip but when I notice 2 people only was showing on my reservation instead of 6 for 2 rooms they told me extra charges for. extra people. Front staff Jeff is not helpful and very rude. If you are going to Aspen do not book on this hotel at all.

We chose Tyrolean Lodge for our one-night stay in Aspen because it seemed to be the only reasonably priced accommodation in town. However, we were pleasantly surprised with the lodge! The staff is very kind and welcoming. The lodge is conveniently located in easy walking distance to restaurants/shops and is close to a bus stop. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Mattress was comfy enough. They were nice enough to supply ear plugs, which did come in handy as there were a handful of loud cars zooming by overnight. The only downside is: the bathroom was stocked with body wash and shampoo but no conditioner or body lotion, which I was counting on them having!
Hannah K — Google review
As the only reasonably priced hotel in town, this place is surprisingly... not bad. Front desk is friendly, room is spacious and clean, though a little old. Walking distance to the town. Definitely recommend if you are planning to visit Aspen and looking for an affordable place to stay.

AMAZING! The best staff and customer service. Thank you for keeping the original Aspen vibes alive. Don and all of the management were incredible. Working with me on trip changes- (love the reservation flexibility) - Giving local insider recommendations. Great attitude. Clean rooms. perfect location. The free bikes and snacks are a HUGE bonus. Praying this place never changes like the rest of Aspen. Feels like home. Nice change from the jerks in Los Angeles. WIll be back. - note the rooms are super clean and location is great as are staff. Some traffic noise but dies down at night and earplugs provided. I am a very light sleeper and slept well. Not a fancy place but the best value in Aspen by far. Really surprised how clean the rooms were and brand new carpet!

Wonderful friendly staff, very comfortable and quiet rooms (with fans! And earplugs if you need them which we didn’t), and location walkable to everything we needed. It was a great stay and we would stay again

Hotel Durant LLC is a charming boutique hotel located in Aspen, offering an intimate and cozy atmosphere. The 19 custom-furnished rooms feature modern amenities and European-inspired decor, providing a comfortable retreat for guests. The hotel's convenient downtown location allows easy access to Aspen Mountain and Lift 1A, making it an ideal choice for skiing enthusiasts. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast and apres-ski offerings, as well as relax in the outdoor hot tub.
Hotel is conveniently located - couple of blocks away from the bus depot and a couple of blocks from the heart of downtown Aspen. The hotel is cozy, clean, and a good value. I would be remiss not to mention how friendly and cool the two guys who work the front desk are - they are helpful, nice, and accommodating. I only stayed one night since I was in town for a show at the Belly Up, but when I come back to Aspen for a longer trip I will stay at the Durant again.

Room was spotless. The blonde lady that checked us in was not the nicest but the evening worker was a blonde man with long hair and he was amazing. He was very helpful and made us feel welcome. The lady did not make us feel welcome. The breakfast was boiled eggs, pastries, yogurt, cereal, type of thing. They also had a variety of tea available! I was happy about that. Probably not good for kids

Wonderful boutique hotel in Aspen. I really enjoyed my stay here. The hot tub is great. Also they have a simple but tasty continental breakfast in the morning. Recommend.

Location is amazing! The hotel is nice and affordable considering the area. David provided excellent recommendations and conversation! He took the experience from good to great!

My husband and I spent two nights in this hotel. The location was nice and the staff was friendly. But the hotel has no elevator and we were on the third floor. We had to carry our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. Our room was small with not a lot of space to move around in. There was a refrigerator, but no microwave. The hotel has a hot tub which was nice. Still, we felt that the room was overpriced.

A great location right near the heart of downtown Aspen and at the base of the slopes! Cute rooms with comfortable beds. However, it is a shame how poor the service and hospitality was. Really took away from the entire experience. From check in, the front desk woman seemed burdened to have to do her job when I arrived. Upon check out, I accidentally left some medication in the room which I called twice about to which I received the answer “no it’s not here” with no evidence she even attempted to look for me. It’s a shame to have such poor service as the hotel has lots of potential. I hope they can address the hospitality issue for future guests.

My husband and I loved our brief stay. The owner personally assisted us with our RV parking and storage of our bikes. The location in Aspen was perfect and we loved the lobby/breakfast! (I would recommend a microwave to heat the wonderful pastries!) Our room had a separate living area and the bed was very comfy! We’ll hope to return someday!!

OK, this place is a GEM!!! Gorgeous little spot, perfect location in walking distance to everything downtown Aspen has to offer. Really lovely and clean decor. The room was clean and comfortable, bed super cozy, and that shower!!!! That is a huge plus of this property. It was also really nice and quiet, and we loved the big balcony in our room. The continental breakfast was above and beyond too, and the staff was friendly. Totally recommend, and will definitely be back!

Hands down best experience ever! The Conciege staff (John and Ana) went out of their way to assist me with all things and make my birthday the best experience EVER! Brandon , one of the managers assisted on personally greeting me at the pool deck or on the patio daily to ensure I was taken care of daily. This service when above and beyond to ensure my stay was 5 stars. I will be retuning in April! Highly recommend!!!

Best service in Aspen and unbeatable location. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. The rooms are impeccable and the concierge staff, especially Joseph, were extremely helpful and made our 20th anniversary stay so incredibly special. We have stayed at a few hotels in Aspen over the years, but can't possibly think of staying anywhere else but the Residences at The Little Nell from now on. Thanks for an amazing experience.
Erica F — Google review
We just had an absolutely amazing stay at the residences for our Aspen honeymoon. It was 5-star+++ all around! The service was incredible - Jason was awesome and made us feel there was truly nothing he couldn’t assist with from a room change request to restaurant recommendations and everything in between. The room was beautiful and impeccably clean and maintained. I can’t think of one amenity that was lacking or less than perfect. I want to order the bedding and towels for my home! The gym was fantastic and again, impeccably clean and well equipped. Being that there aren’t that many rooms, we really felt we had full enjoyment of all the amenities (cozy living room, gym, rooftop pool deck) without a lot of other people around. Chica, the restaurant on the deck overlooking the gondola, was the hip spot for apres and it was fun to have that right downstairs. The complimentary breakfast and happy hour in the lobby was a nice touch. If you’re seeking true luxury and comfort in the best location, this is the place!

Super bummed about my first experience here. I'd heard Little Nell was THE spot to be in Aspen with A+ amenities and service. Unfortunately, the valet wrecked my car and then gave me a contact number to solve my issue. Over 2 months later, I'm still trying to jump through insurance hoops and find any collision centers to take their insurance (I live in Denver and no one will take the work). Little Nell continued to ask "what can we do to help?" but with each ask for help the response was the same every time, "sorry we can't help you, but do you want some chocolates or wine?" The best I can find is a body shop that might book me an appointment in 2 more months, then another couple months of not having access to a car. Huge headache and would've expected better support/customer service/ownership from such a high-end hotel/residence. I highly recommend St. Regis if trying to figure out where to stay in Aspen. Never had a bad experience there.
Nick Z — Google review
So we have stayed at numerous outstanding ski based hotels and I can say that the Residences at the Little Nell is right at or near the top of all the places we have ever been. You can't get a better location as the gondola is right outside the door, the hotel is absolutely beautiful and is located right in the heart of the best ski town in the country, the service was top notch, and the room was extremely comfortable. We stayed in a first floor two queen courtyard room which made me a little hesitant but we ended up really loving the room which was around 500 square feet and opened up to an outdoor firepit that we used every night. The other great feature about this hotel was the light breakfast in the morning and apres in the afternoon they served were included with the stay and we looked forward to both everyday. (Especially the apres!) In any event, if you're looking to stay at one of the top ski properties in the country this is one of the places to be along side the Stein Eriksen Residences in Deer Valley and the Madeline in Telluride.

The service is exemplary, from the concierge to housekeeping. Their attention to every detail to make your stay memorable has to be applauded. We will definitely be coming back to stay at Little Neil next time we visit gorgeous Aspen.

I was blessed with the opportunity to stay here recently as a guest and I will not forget the experience. The staff is sincere in their eagerness to help, and very professional. The location is just yards from the lifts, and fine dining and shopping are also just steps away. If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it!

As we were walking by on the sidewalk, one of the valet driving an escalade almost killed my wife, dog and I. We were walking past on the sidewalk up the Galena hill and the guy hits my wife as she is pounding on the vehicle to stop. We were screaming at him. He didn't fully stop until I came up and pounded on the side of the vehicle. He didn't apologize or see if my wife was okay, rather proclaimed "I was looking" when I yelled in his face that he almost killed the most important parts of my life. Afterward we called wanting to speak to a manager and thinking the driver may have been intoxicated. A lady answered the phone and said she would call back after talking to a manager. She didn't. After about an hour without a call back I called the shift manager, he basically played down the whole event and called the general manager who was not there. He refused to investigate the sobriety of the driver. Thirty minutes later he called me back and offered a completely unprofessional apology. They didn't offer or try to apologize to my wife, they didn't ask if she was okay. They made absolutely zero ameliorative efforts. Bottom line, there are many luxurious places to stay in Aspen, I would highly suggest researching other options that place a higher value on the community and the people in it. These clowns didn't even have the professionalism to make sure we were okay after we had to dodge an escalade that ended up swiping my wife until we pounded on the vehicle for him to stop. Could you imagine what would've happened if it was a couple little kids going back to their room or walking to the gondola?

A Perfect Stay at Frias Properties – Snowmass’ Best! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Frias Properties in Snowmass, CO with my 13-year-old son, and I can confidently say it was one of the best travel experiences we’ve ever had! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was not just comfortable, but truly exceptional. Every interaction was warm and professional, and it was clear that their number one priority was making sure guests feel welcomed and well taken care of. The property itself was absolutely stunning—beautifully maintained, impeccably clean, and designed to blend luxury with the natural beauty of the mountains. We had the pleasure of working with Mariya at Frias and she was amazing! Frias Properties goes above and beyond in their customer service. My daughter lost her phone with some very important photos on it - she was devasted - but Mariya called us a week later saying it have been found outside their office! She packaged it up safe, shipped it quickly and we received the phone 2 days later. Next time we visit Aspen, Frias will be our first stop in looking for places to stay. Care and high standards in their customer service are apparant and I would be confident that translates into the properties they manage. Thank you Frias!!

We had a fantastic stay with Frias in Aspen. The level of service was next level. From the start we were in good hands with emails returned almost immediately, texts regarding car service and our ski tickets handled perfectly. A couple of things to note - Mariya was our point of contact and her professionalism was exceptional. She also recommended Jereme Leafe as our instructor who is as amazing and we could not recommend more. Thank you for a great stay - we look forward to the next one.

Heartless rental company that has no compassion for their guests. Had to cancel the entire trip due an emergency with the dog. Immediately was told no refunds because it wasn’t in the 14 day window. Not a single kind word like hope your dogs ok or sorry about what you’re going through. I understand policies because I own my own business, but we also make exceptions for certain situations, family emergencies being one of them. Even offering to refund one night instead of both would have been ok but instead all I got was a cold & uncaring response. Should really work on their customer service & try to have some understanding for what people are going through. A little kindness can go along way especially if you want people to tell others about your property which obviously I won’t be doing. Plenty of other great properties in Aspen that we’ll be booking instead in the future.

This was a very cozy, cute 1-bedroom condo with a wood-burning fireplace and unlimited wood. It also has a full kitchen and the appliances all worked perfectly. There was a beautiful view of the mountains. The bus stop to other mountains as well as the Ajax gondola were a short walk away. In all, it was a perfect spot to enjoy everything Aspen has to offer. They also offer free transfer from Aspen airport. Between that and the free inter-mountain bus service, we did not have to rent a car. The concierge was very responsive and allowed us to store our bags prior to check in so we could ski the day we arrived, and also offered us a free late check-out, so we could also ski the day of departure. The Aspen mountains are relatively uncrowded compared to other places (cough-Vail-cough), and we had a great time skiing the various mountains.

Beautiful view, perfect location, customer service was top-notch The condo was so nice and clean. Everything was wonderful. I would highly recommend Frias properties in Aspen. The staff was the friendliest I’ve ever experienced. Highly recommend. My husband and I felt like we were in a Hallmark movie. This place is perfect.

Beware this company is unprofessional and unresponsive. I booked a trip to Snowmass for Feb 2025 but have to move the date due to work. Their policy states they will keep 10% of the trip if more than 30 days but they do not let you know they will also keep the 10% fee for the “cancellation insurance”. I tried to gain clarification on this prior to cancelling and not one of the frias representatives could tell me the answer. I have called the insurance company they have partnered with and I received no call back. I have emailed the person in charge on insurance at Frias (Gwen) and received no response. After about 12 phone calls I cancelled the reservation. They have held the 1279$ for insurance and stated it is not refundable even though the trip did not happen and they were given greater than 30 days notice. Normally companies that specialize in luxury rentals give you a luxury experience. This is not the case with Frias.
Heather C — Google review
The concierge service was super helpful. They set up airport shuttles for us. We were able to do some printing at their office. They also were great with helping us retrieve a forgotten item after we left. I would definitely book with Frias Properties again for future trips to Aspen.

This was a beautiful, budget friendly, little hotel to stay in Aspen, in a very quiet, residential area, comfortable and pretty with a heated pool and Mountain Views. Walking distance to downtown. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. Coffee and tea in the lobby.

Nice hotel, great outdoor pool and steam room. All outdoor area is amazingly decorated with vibrant colours of flowers. Friendly staff. No AC in the rooms so all keep their windows open for the night. My sleep was interrupted as one decided to sing at midnight. Quiet hours must be honoured more.

Rooms 🛏: ⭐⭐⭐ The rooms were alright, a little congested for the price. The Entertainment Center (Cabinet placed below the TV) as soon you open the entry door is a thumbs down for me. Interesting room names, like 'Devil's Punch Bowl', 'Conundrum', 'Bitter Brush' Thin walls, and our voices can easily be heard from outside. Squeaky floor. Amenities 🏓: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Continental breakfast included. Heated Swimming pool with outdoor seating in the sun or tree shade. A cozy lounge area with fireplace. Location 📍: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent location. Very close to the city center even by walk. Service 🛎️: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very polite and friendly staff. We had to check-in very late. So the reception hanged an envolpe outside the main door with all the necessary information. Restaurant 🍛: ⭐⭐⭐ For breakfast, they offered healthy options. My sister liked them. I missed having sausages and scrambled eggs. Wi-Fi 🛜 speed: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 17.5 MBps download and 2.92 MBps upload late on a Sunday night. Parking 🚗: ⭐⭐⭐ We checked-in very late, so we didn’t have a parking space for our Chevrolet Suburban. We parked it on the street. It was safe and convenient.

The hotel is very nice, and well kept. It offers great value among other expensive places. The stuff are friendly, and the property is well run. The room is clean, they have nice breakfast. The location is good, five minutes walk away from a bus stop of the Aspen bus system.

Too tiny room, too less space. No restroom in the room, shared restrooms only, with one bath for 10 rooms. but has a fridge and a cabinet in room. Room and building was very clean. Good swimming pool and food offers included. $189 wasted for nothing on rooms tho. Only okay for say, sleeping and waking up and skidaddle at 10am

We had an amazing experience at the W Hotel Aspen! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had some challenges with parking a very large vehicle, but the team went out of their way to make everything work for us – truly outstanding service! When we inquired about breakfast options, they went above and beyond to provide a delicious spread with fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola – exactly what we were hoping for. Our room was quiet and comfortable, allowing us to truly relax after a day of adventure. The location couldn’t be better – right in the heart of Aspen and just steps away from the gondola. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Highly recommended!

We loved the room; the aesthetics of this place are beautiful. The room was very comfortable. We had a king size bed, and it was lovely. Do not use the reading light though it is an overhead spotlight. My kiddos had a very nice room with 2 beds and a funky way to maximize the space with 2 beds side by side and a ladder. They loved it! The rooftop bar was bumping, and they had a beautiful pool and delicious drinks. They have full sun or shaded areas you pick. The people who work for the W are so accommodating especially the valet and driving crew- You guys' Rock! The people at the front desk were also so accommodating and nice. They helped us navigate our way around Aspen from delicious spots to eat, to assisting us with the shuttle for Maroon Bells. We also received a late check out and it was so appreciated so we could enjoy one more last hike before heading to Denver. We can't wait to return!

We stayed in mid July. I stay in a lot of hotels and it’s rare to get good customer service- the W knows how to treat their guests. Every staff member actually wanted to help make our stay great and do the little things. Especially awesome was the wheels team who was happy to drive us around town wherever we needed to go with a smile on their faces, even when sitting in Aspen afternoon traffic. Room was clean and quiet as well.

Pool deck is great. By far the best in Aspen. Nothing close. Bartenders fantastic. Valet group incredible. Group sales manager needs to be fired. 3 calls requesting quote unreturned.
Robert R — Google review
The staff is very nice and friendly and tries to be helpful. The front desk staff does not follow through. We had a broken coffee machine in our room and asked for it to be replaced several times. It took two days. The rooms are weird. Some of the lights are uncontrollable. When to get up at night to use the toilet the lights come on BRIGHT. I asked the person who ID’d himself as the GM about that and a strange piece of furniture in the room and got no response. The food service leaves MUCH to be desired. It seems like the staff is new and has little idea of what they’re doing. They are serving breakfast on the roof but don’t have the right equipment for that job. Toast is made on the grill and thus greasy. There is one electric hot plate for cooking and therefore everything takes a long time. A lady asked for a cappachino this morning and it took 1/2 hour because it had to come up from downstairs. Don’t put it on the menu if you can’t serve it. All in all this hotel has to get its act together for $700+ a night.

My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary. Izzer the hotel managers is one of the best hotel managers I think I’ve ever come across. She was so attentive, kind, warm and even remembered our anniversary. You don’t get exceptional customer service like that… she is so rare. The rooms are gorgeous, a Mr. steam in the shower!! And we have been having such a lovely time. This is by far a 5 star!

I stayed here in December of 2024. I love the hotel, room layout, and breakfast. Beds were comfy, with a great night's sleep. Room layout was creative, 2 beds with one on the top and the other in front on the bottom. Room had a great view. Breakfast was tasty, but dinner (HaSalon) was not so good. I did not ski at Ajax, but it was very accessible, we were close to that mountain. Good distance from stores and RFTA bus. Hotel transportation was always available and very convenient. Deserves a 5 star rating, would 100% recommend

I have NO IDEA how this place is an American Express Fine Hotel & Resort partner. This place is a step above a Holiday Inn, and certainly not worth the credibility it has received. Quite literally, this place was so bad that we actually paid $2000 to get another room across the street at the Little Nell, just so we could get a decent nights sleep. The bed was probably the most uncomfortable thing i've ever tried to sleep on. Check-in was a cluster, couldn't understand a word the lady was trying to say. The room was bizarre...it was like they were trying to be retro, but hip or trendy, but none of it works. We ran into several other couples in the elevator that were as equally baffled by the place as we were. It's just a hard NO. We won't be back.

I stayed here during work travel and it was so luxurious and made me feel like I was in a five star hotel. I was able to book the place through a Airbnb and didn’t realize it was a timeshare until I got there. The staff are very kind and they offer free transportation to and from the airport, which is really helpful because I can cost around $75 otherwise. This location was really close to everything and I could walk to the city center in seven minutes.

I drove to Aspen. The parking is all valet and you can't go to the garage to get stuff out of your car without an employee. The place I stayed is quite nice, except the minifridge was tiny. The free breakfast was a continental breakfast and the pancake machine was broken. The pool is nice and the hot tubs both worked.

Nestled in the heart of downtown Aspen, Colorado, Aspen Square Condominium Hotel is a signature property offering renovated condos with full kitchens, fireplaces, and private balconies. The hotel provides exceptional amenities including concierge services, daily housekeeping, heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, fitness center, high-speed Wi-Fi and garage parking.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Aspen is tough - you aren't sure what you will get with a hotel that's considered "affordable." The room was huge and had everything we needed. The location was excellent - we walked everywhere from the hotel. Parking was included which is huge because options seemed limited. The staff were friendly. The view from the balcony was lovely. It was in need of a facelift but nothing really to complain about. I would stay again.

Aspen Square Condos is perfect in every way. I wish I could remember the names of the extremely professional and helpful front desk staff who were always eager to greet us and share suggestions and recommendations. They were a bright light! The room was fabulous, spacious, and so comfortable. The view of Aspen Mountain cannot be matched and we found it difficult to tear ourselves away from the balcony. Why leave the room? The kitchen was well equipped, decor was exquisite and the bed was very comfy. I loved the heated outdoor pool with its waterfall and the two hot tubs. We parked beneath the building and never had to drive anywhere due to the excellent location, close to everything and easy walks. The whole experience was wonderful!

We stayed in unit 131, corner unit, with a view of the mountain. Everything was relatively new and in good working order in this large one bedroom unit. A washer and dryer are available just down the hall from the unit. It is very close to many dining and shopping options. If you want to eat in the unit, a grocery store is next door to the building. The only negative is the shower is relatively small and relatively expensive. However, the unit is clean, and very convenient to skiing and everything Aspen has to offer.

We stayed here in June 2024. From the get-go the staff was primarily snobby and rude. The rooms are overpriced and to make things worse, our A/C didn't work. We called about it 3 times and were told "they'll get someone to look at it". They sent a maintenance man out and all he did was look at the thermostat and told us to let the room cool down longer. We had already been there for a few hours. Finally we asked for a fan because we had our 3 month old baby with us and she was hot the entire time. Housekeeping were the only nice people we encountered there. Also our flight was cancelled due to issues going on at the airport and they told us they would not refund any nights missed. So we lost 2 nights. We had an early flight when departing and there was no one at the front desk. There is a sign they leave out to call the number on there for early departures. We kept calling that number and nobody answered. Finally we decided to leave our room keys in the room. When I called back later that day to confirm they got our keys, the girl on the phone was very rude. I asked for a receipt to make sure we weren't charged anything else and it sounded like the girl got bothered I asked her to do that. She had an attitude the whole time while on the phone. Personally I think we paid too much for the rooms, especially since it was hot the entire time. Walking around the premises, we noticed other rooms with fans and windows open the whole time. Would recommend staying at a different location next time we go.

I stayed at the Aston Square hotel in 2024. The location is exceptional; they have parking underneath two of their buildings; the front desk. Staff were super professional to deal with, the room was clean and very well maintained. I would very highly recommend staying here.

This is an absolutely awesome spot to stay in Aspen. You are right downtown and every single delicious restaurant in this town is within walking distance (even in the winter), a grocery store next door which comes in super handy with a. Full kitchen in your room and the service is impeccable. The team that works here is lovely. They let us use the hot tub late in the evening and we're able to accommodate any and all needs including housing us an additional two days when flights were canceled. They were personable, so friendly and helpful and also empathetic to the situation. The gym was also nice and convenient. It was an absolute joy to stay here and if I ever return to Aspen I'll be staying at this hotel.
Danielle S — Google review
Absolutely perfect! I loved my stay here and highly recommend it to everyone. The rooms are very nice, including full kitchens with all the pots, pans, and utensils that you need. The staff is so sweet, the location is amazing right in downtown Aspen with being able to walk to all restaurants and shops + just a block from the slopes. I will definitely be back!

Great place to stay. Very friendly staff. Room was excellent. Clean. Ample space. Nice hot tub. Shower had a steamer. Comfy bed. All the kitchen stuff you need.

We stayed in a one bedroom presidential and it was very nice. We got the unit on the top floor at the end which was great. Jesse was very helpful with questions and also came quickly with the shuttle when we called. We really enjoyed our time here and wished we could have stayed longer. One other perk of the presidential was that there was a steam option in the shower. Not sure if it is in every other unit or not.
Chris A — Google review
We enjoyed our time at Innsbruck. The rooms were very comfortable and had all we needed. The oven/convection/microwave unit was very fancy but even with reading the manual we couldn't get anything to cook right. There were some quirky temperature issues with the air and water - but nothing terrible. The staff was so friendly and helpful. They provide rides to shuttles and gave lots of suggestions for things to do and places to eat. The location is amazing. A long walk or quick bike ride to the downtown area. They offer free bikes to ride around town so a beautiful way to enjoy the town and the Rio Grande trail!
Christy B — Google review
Really impressed by the service, quality, and attention to detail. Also love the little extras like a steam shower. Great location too.
Elizabeth F — Google review
Great and comfortable week stay. The staff is knowledgeable and so attentive. The staff is the best I have interacted with. An amazing amenity is they offer rides around town and to Snowmass gondolas at a fist come first serve basis. There is limited parking in the back. Rooms are clean and spacious. We had a 2 bedroom with 3 full bathrooms on the ground level. The kitchen is well equipped it’s a full sized refrigerator and microwave / convection oven but no oven. You ca enter from the front or from each bedroom. Look forward to future stays.

We love BlueGreen and really enjoy staying at this resort. Nice rooms, well planned with two bedrooms that each have their own bathroom as well as another bathroom for guests who use the sofa bed. Can walk just a couple blocks to get to business district with convenient shops and restaurants. Staff is great and responsive. Close to lots of activities in the area for all seasons.
Mark L — Google review
Staff was friendly, beds were comfortable, bathroom was a great (loved the shower temperature control!), and overall the room was large and had everything we needed for the week. Location is a quick walk to all the shops but they also offer a shuttle if needed. The only downside was that our room was facing a busy street so we heard traffic well into the night and early in the morning.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Downtown Aspen, The Snow Queen Lodge offers a charming Victorian experience that perfectly balances comfort and affordability. Each room and condo is uniquely decorated, providing guests with private bathrooms, kitchens, and cozy decks to unwind after a day on the slopes. With its inviting parlor, sun-soaked patio, and outdoor hot tub boasting stunning mountain views, this lodge serves as an ideal retreat for both families and groups seeking adventure or relaxation.
Hunter was super accommodating and very personable. He was reachable pretty much at any time if you needed to call or ask something which I liked. He made my stay feel like I was right at home and was open to any suggestions or comments that I had about my stay. The room itself was clean and as expected, I think my favorite little detail is that the sheets and blankets don't smell like they've been drowned in bleach like at a hotel, but like fabric softener and home! The breakfasts always had variety and he cooks eggs to order which I have never experienced so it was definitely an added bonus. Great location, few steps from a bus stop and it was also a few streets away from the city so it was quieter. Overall I loved my stay (solo) and will be back again!

Wonderful stay to see the fall foliage in Aspen/Maroon Bells. The Owner and his staff were warm, welcoming, supportive with my many questions and made me feel at home during my stay. The location to downtown was perfect and the hot tub was a fantastic end to my day of hiking. Breakfast was delicious and fun as many guests came down and we all chatted about our Aspen adventures and various travels we enjoyed. Quaint and historic, at a very affordable price. I will definitely recommend to others and return to the Snow Queen.

This is an excellent place to stay if you are looking for something that is nice and comfortable and not pretentious at all. It’s great to stay somewhere that has the history of the Snow Queen. Our room was a good size and very clean. Had a great nights sleep on a very comfortable bed. Walking distance to everything! The hosts are awesome. Very laid back and great to talk to. The have great advice about where to go and what to do in the area. They have created a great family atmosphere and we enjoyed our conversations with them. They made a couple Arkansas hillbillies feel relaxed and enjoy their stay. Highlight of Aspen!
Justin W — Google review
I recently stayed at The Snow Queen Lodge for 10 days and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. It's a comfy, homey gem in a town filled with expensive luxury hotels. The location is perfect as you can easily and quickly walk to the slopes, restaurants and shops. Parking is available in back for five cars, and I believe they have parking permits for the street as well. There is a living room area with a couch and other seating and a wood burning fire place. The kitchen is small with seating for about five people. Breakfast is included and Hunter will make you eggs, bacon or anything else you desire, in addition to the hot and cold cereal, toast and yogurt available. There's also a pot of hot coffee and tea. Hunter and Hannah are the resident hosts and "Inn keepers" and do a fantastic job welcoming guests and can answer questions, provide advice on restaurants and help you with ski rentals, if needed. They're both super nice and friendly and enjoyable to chat with. I stayed in Lucky Strike, which was off of the kitchen. The room included a shower, free WiFI and cable TV. This is one of the standard rooms available, and it's off of the kitchen, so be advised that you'll be woken up around 7:45 a.m. if you're a light sleeper when Hunter starts preparing breakfast. There is one other room on the ground floor that's near the front entrance, so be sure to ask where the room is located, especially if you're sensitive to noise. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Snow Queen Lodge and think it's probably the best place to stay in Aspen for location and value. I'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it.

We stayed at the Snow Queen for a quick Memorial Day weekend to Aspen. What a pleasant surprise! This is an adorable lodge with interesting (and adorable) history and it has been in the family for over 40 years. Super close to everything- we were able to walk everywhere. Parking is available both behind the house and on the street, and the staff couldn’t be more wonderful. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. I usually have a hard time sleeping in hotels with their stiff beds but our room and bed was so cozy. I really felt right at home. I can’t wait for my next visit to the snow queen. Can’t imagine how anyone would have anything negative to say! Looks like the only real bad review quoted trump in their review- so that probably explains the negative attitude lol. I would give 6 stars if I could :)

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Snow Queen Lodge on a whim for a last minute Aspen weekend getaway and we couldn't have been happier. It's just as charming as we hoped, and it was a far better choice than breaking the bank for some of the other hotels. Walking distance to Ajax and everything in downtown Aspen. Hunter and his wife were super helpful and accommodating! Having breakfast prepared in the morning was the best way to wake up. The hot tub has a view of the mountain and we loved having it right outside the room. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Aspen!

This place is a quaint and friendly spot right in Downtown Aspen. I was here for business but my stay here was extremely enjoyable. The innkeepers are sweethearts and lovely humans and I so thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The room was perfectly kept, free wifi which was almost as fast as home and so much better than any chain hotel I've used, and theres a breakfast in the morning that is pretty good! Recommending this place to my colleagues so they can stay here when they come in to town. Thanks for the great stay
Adam R — Google review
The snow Queen lodge is collocated with downtown Aspen. The amenities are bare but the essentials are there. The place has got character. A place you'd want to vacation at, but not own. The floors creek but you know it's got some history behind it. The Inn Keepers are very nice. Breakfast is nice and homely, but limited on time (not great if you're here for business and not vacation). Hot tub for you to use "in season" but when is it out of season in Aspen?

Nestled in the heart of downtown Aspen, Independence Square Hotel is a small historic hotel that underwent renovations in 2017, blending modern amenities with its timeless elegance. The redbrick building exudes charm and offers uniquely styled rooms and suites. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast in the lobby before heading out to explore or hit the slopes. The hotel also provides gym passes for those looking to stay active.
Centrally located, close to the slopes. Nice rooms and welcoming staff, nice place to go home to at the end of a long day. Enjoyed our stay here very much. Rooftop hottub and close to the music venue where we saw DeadMaus perform by accident!

Booked with Amex in February for a March trip. A friends house opened up 8 days in advance of the trip so I called to get a refund. After talking with Amex and the hotel multiple times, the hotel refused to give me any money back (not even a single night). Then on top of that I realized that nightly rates are literally 1/2 of what I paid Amex so they wouldn’t even give me money back for what they are charging nightly. Overall poor experience and will be avoiding hotel for future trips.

Awesome stay, Jack was super helpful getting our reservation squared away; right in downtown Aspen, walking distance to everything. Rooms look just like the photo. Street parking like most of Aspen. Would easily stay again.
Austin D — Google review
The staff was nice but the rooms had a lot to be desired. The bathroom throw rugs are so old and tattered and probably had not been cleaned. We didn't want to put our bare feet on them. Plus there were brown spots on the bathroom walls. The kitchenette had no way of washing up. I had to convince the front desk clerk that I needed paper towels. I did not want to leave our mess for the maids and did not want to use the white towels. Aside from other small annoyances it was a pleasant stay.

We loved staying at Independence Square Hotel in Aspen. The room was extremely comfortable. The heated floors in our 2 bathrooms were incredible! The heated towel rack made getting out of the shower feel great! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. The in-ceiling Sonos speaker system took a little bit to figure out, but was nice to enjoy music throughout the unit and found some interesting music stations to listen to. Great location within walking distance of everything you need in Aspen. Will definitely come back hopefully in the summer!
IDOL B — Google review
My husband and I stayed here for the night and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was cozy. This place is very well maintained and it was extremely clean. We had an entire kitchen with appliances and kitchenware which was neat. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. There is a hot tub on the roof along with patio seating. It’s right in the center of town so you can walk out and get food, drinks, or even go to a concert venue next door. Highly recommend this hotel!!
Hasina B — Google review
Would not stay here again for the price. This is a condo-hotel, not a true hotel. Every room is different. Ours was dated which we didn’t mind. We loved the location and the roof top hot tub and that was it. Our stay was extremely noisey at night and early mornings as the building is old with thin glass windows. Yes there is a bar on the same block but the location is the middle of town- some night life noise is to be expected. We had housekeeping (i hope?) use the trash chute every morning at 5:30am ish- right ouside our room; snow sweeping at 6:30am right outside our window on Saturday morning, and pillows are basically tissue paper and our bed didn’t have a comforter- just two flat sheets with a blanket between. Our room’s window treatments were shutters, which don’t block out the light coming from outside. We got about 3 hours of sleep per night (morning, actually) because if the noise and unavoidable ambient light. The hot tub is great but doesn’t heat past 100 degrees Pillows, window treatments, new bedding could definitely make a big difference. I would not stay here again because of the daily late night AND early morning noise.

This place was amazing. Each room is different and has it's own flavor. Rooms are just what you need to recharge. Not the Fanciest, but has nice charm and space. Had couch that had They have ski lockers in the lobby so you don't have to lug your stuff up after each ski day. They also have a super cool deck with a hot tub and nice view of Aspen Mountain. Best View in Aspen. Lobby has complimentary breakfast to charge you up if you're in a rush to the mountain. It is literally right next to the Aspen Gondolas and feet from the bus to take you to buttermilk, Snowmass and Highlands. Easy walk to cafes, breakfast spot and anywhere you go out in aspen. The bus is also relatively efficient to all mountains. The staff is amazing. Super accommodating. Allowed us to do late check out. Looked after our bags even after late check out so we could explore aspen more before our flight.

A True Aspen Gem!! The Residence Hotel provided a perfect historical retreat during my stay. The hotel's eclectic décor had plenty of character and the rooms were perfectly clean. The hotel sits in downtown Aspen which offers immediate access to the shops and restaurants. My entire trip went by without needing to use a car! Text messaging allowed me to communicate effortlessly with the owners, Simon and Susan. They were incredibly helpful and kind. I’ll definitely be back!!

Aspen houses a remarkable hidden gem. The hotel lacks a grand lobby and room service but offers charm along with historical significance together with an excellent location and wonderful value. Walking to restaurants and shops along with the slopes made my stay perfect. A truly authentic yet affordable hotel experience in Aspen remains uncommon. Simon and Susan ensured a smooth operation and their exceptional hospitality stands out. A real treasure!

The Residence Hotel stands out as an exceptional place to stay in Aspen. You can enjoy downtown living at an affordable price by choosing this location. The master suite offered ample space along with stunning decoration and outstanding comfort. I loved how the owners were responsive and friendly since everything I needed was just outside my door. The hotel ownership by a family offers you a distinctly personal experience.

We stayed at the Penthouse Suite what a ridiculously amazing decorated place. Bed was very comfy, they had AC boxes in multiple rooms and most importantly the zebra chairs appeared to be made out of actual zebra hair. Location is amazing. My boyfriend described the place as like we were living in a Wes Anderson movie. Sad we only stayed here one night.

My stay at the French Studio was absolutely amazing! The room displayed a romantic and attractive design which complemented the small kitchen space for perfect breakfast. The bed was amazingly comfortable that I slept perfectly. A big hotel won’t offer you this kind of character and warmth for such an affordable price. Can’t recommend enough!
Xavier B — Google review
The hotel radiates soul through its cozy atmosphere and distinct character. This hotel provides an experience that outshines your common chain expectations. Every room displayed its own distinctive character through antique furnishings and detailed touches while remaining spotless and cozy. The bed felt luxurious and the entire ambiance created a comforting sense of home. Reaching out via text to the owners provided an easy and hospitable experience. All my friends will get my recommendation for this place.

Hotel / rooms are very pretty, just didn’t feel the most clean (fabric walls in bathroom). Walls are thin. Service was mostly through text and was pretty responsive. Location is insanely good, right in the heart of Aspen. Right across the street from Paradise Bakery, and beside all the shops.
