Element 47 is a renowned restaurant located within The Little Nell hotel in Aspen, offering an upscale dining experience with a focus on refined American cuisine infused with Colorado flavors. The restaurant's warm and elegant ambiance provides the perfect setting for savoring seasonal menus that highlight the best local ingredients. With an award-winning wine selection and a menu featuring dishes like Wagyu beef, wolfish from Iceland, and Colorado-grown root vegetables, Element 47 promises an unparalleled culinary journey.
This has been the most wonderful experience during my time in Aspen. Thank you, Zach, for introducing me to such amazing dishes—every bite was a delightful surprise. The care and thoughtfulness shown by Element 40 truly touched me. Thank you for your kind wishes—I’ll definitely be back next time!

This was such a wonderful location to spend his birthday. Everyone and everything was just amazing! The duck and white asparagus were so delicious. For his birthday we were given a complimentary glass of champagne along! Just the sweetest time and we are looking forward to returning to Element 47. We stayed at Little Nell Residences so even the breakfast from Element 47 was spectacular! Fresh juices to live for! Only complaint I have… I can’t leave more than 5 stars this review! Thank you all for the experience. Great birthday dinner.

This was our favorite restaurant in Aspen! We had a server named Gerino and he was fantastic. But overall, the other people that helped service our table were great as well. We started with deviled eggs and olives, then shared the sliders for a lighter meal. Everything was outstanding. The only thing that would have enhanced the sliders would be to add cheese but other than that I would highly recommend this restaurant. We sat in the bar area for quicker service. Very nice environment.

Ate here twice for breakfast on our trip in Aspen. First time we had a great waiter, he was super friendly and amazing, very attentive. The second time our waiter was terrible. Took forever to come get our drink orders and then took forever to get us our coffees! She forgot to bring out the complimentary muffins which is our favorite part of the meal as they rotate them everyday & they are always delicious. My dad asked for extra tortillas with his meal and didn’t get them til way after he was done eating. My parents asked for coffee refills and she barely gave them a refill, the cups were half empty. She disappeared at the end of our meal and we spent forever trying to flag someone down to get the check for us because our waiter never showed back up. Maybe she wasn’t feeling well or was having a bad day but the service was really bad. Love the food though, it’s my favorite place in Aspen to eat for breakfast. However I didn’t like the blueberry sauce that came with the pancakes it tasted like it had gone bad. Great orange juice, great bacon, eggs, potato cakes, & excellent muffins.

Out of all the places I've been to so far in Aspen, every single plate was phenomenal. The atmosphere was perfect! Our server was fantastic in recommendations. The bread rolls they serve before the meal are quite dangerous. They are addictive and delicious. I had the Grilled Gem Lettuce, perfectly smoky with refreshing flavors. The wagyu beef was one of the best steaks I've ever had. It was seared to perfection and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The smashed potatoes were great for a side for two people. Desserts were great as well. Literally everyone LOVED their meal-- duck, lobster salad.

Excellent place for an anniversary dinner. We made reservations at Element 47 (or Silver if you know your periodic table ⚛️) after our pre-arranged reservations at Hai Si were nullified by the restaurant closing for good three days before our dinner. Element 47 exceeded our expectations and went above and beyond to make our anniversary special including starting toast of champagne, dessert chocolate mousse, and a chocolate truffle finale. Staff was engaging and committed to making our evening special. We even parted with dog treats from the kitchen for our pooch.
Cody M — Google review
Element 47 has a tremendous bar menu, good enough to return to. Highly recommend the wagyu burger sliders and tacos. Fries, nuts, bread and butter, and tortilla soup are also great. It is a Michelin recommended restaraunt and it is easy to see why.
Eddie B — Google review
Like many of the "5 Star" restaurants in this town, it seems that Element 47 has joined the competition to see how much they can charge, while providing as little as possible. My wife and I stayed at the Little Nell, and naturally all of the staff here were highly recommending Element 47. They love to tell you that element 47 is a "Michelin Recommended" restaurant, which actually just means that they do not have a Michelin star - however, their prices sure do make you think they should. To preface this review, I fully understand that this is a resort town, and a restaurant inside of an expensive hotel, so a slight increase in pricing is to be expected. I have no problem paying premium prices for premium offerings, but when they do not align, I take great offense. We started our evening with two drinks. A glass of wine from the standard menu, and an old fashioned. The wine was an 8oz pour of Evesham Wood Pinot Noir. This is a $25 bottle of wine, and Element 47 charges $30 per glass. The old fashioned was made with Angels Envy Bourbon, and they charged $36 for it. Ridiculous The appetizer we selected was the Fall Squash soup. The portion is not even enough to fill a soup ladle, and no better than any canned squash soup that you can buy at a grocery store. $30. Next up were our entrees. My wife selected the Ravioli Alla Carbonara. 4 tiny ravioli's at the bottom of a bowl, with a drizzle of sauce. Not enough food for a small child, let alone a grown woman. The dish was cold, the bacon was raw, and quite bland. $36. I chose the Antelope Loin. 3 tiny pieces of nearly raw, cold tenderloin that combined were not more than 4oz. This dish is served with what they call Ricotta Spaetzle, but much more closely resembled a handful of Corn Nuts from your local gas station snack bag. 3 tiny dots of cranberry puree, that wouldn't even fill a tablespoon. $65. We also shared a side of vegetables, the Beet Carpaccio. You expect a bowl or plate of beets, but instead are served a few paper thin shavings of beet, and a tablespoon of Creme Fraiche. All in, maybe $50 of Ingredients (being very generous with that number) and our bill with tip was $300. We left hungry and disappointed, and went to City Market afterwards to get some fruit and nuts. If you are hungry, avoid this restaurant at all costs. Regardless of the price, there is no value in what we were served, and the quality was mediocre at best. Fancy presentations and attentive service do not excuse providing a satisfying meal (especially at these prices). The owner and head chef should be ashamed of themselves.

Home Team BBQ is a lively tavern known for its generous portions of smoked meat and classic Southern sides, accompanied by frequent live music. The original location, housed in a converted 1900s gas station, remains popular among locals despite the expansion to multiple spots in Charleston and even one in Aspen. The menu features slow-cooked meats and traditional Southern sides, complemented by an extensive drink selection including frozen cocktails, American whiskies, and craft beers.
If you’re looking for a chill spot with good BBQ and a great view, this place is solid. The vibe is super relaxed, perfect for hanging out after a day on the mountain. Plus, you get a nice view of the Buttermilk ski slopes while you eat. I had the pulled pork nachos, and they were pretty good. Plenty of toppings, smoky and flavorful, without being overwhelming. My friend got the carnitas tacos, and they were just as good. Overall, it’s a great spot to kick back, enjoy some good food, and take in the scenery. I’d definitely come back.

While staying at the hotel a few days. I heard great things about Home Team BBQ and have it a try. Since day one I was hooked on the flavor and so this review is from 3 different days trying different options. I’ll start by saying that from Christy the host, to the servers like Gil and others, they were great and made the experience well enjoyed. Ate after 6pm most days. Dined in with no wait time. Recommendations provided of daily specials by everyone. Food wait time was normal on all dine-in. First day I tried the turkey platter with baked beans and Mac & cheese. Everything was fenomenal, so tender. I’m big on Max & cheese which is why I had on all 3 occasions. Portion is just right with a bit of the harden cheese. Stays hot during course of the meal which is great. Beans flavorful with that smoky presence. Second day I went for the wings…😋😋😋 OMG!!! The flavor is to the bone 🦴 so good. No lack of smoky taste here! It’s definitely a party in the mouth when you first bite into them! Added mac & cheese. Can’t pass that up. Third day Christy points out having the Cuban sandwich on the specials menu. Being from south Florida , Cuban sandwiches can be found throughout. Trying foods outside of my daily circles provides an opportunity to taste different renditions of popular foods. This Cuban sandwich is no exception. The sandwich includes all the main elements from Cuban sandwiches but with their own touch. Hint of mustard included which is a must in Cuban sandwich and the pickles were added, cut thicker than the norm and is a great touch. The pork has the smoky taste which is unique to Home Team BBQ and makes the entire sandwich explode with flavor. Size looks small but was very filling. Size just right. Amazing place to dine and highly recommend!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lastly, the views outside are stunning and make outdoor eating so enjoyable. 🏔️

We had a wonderful dining experience with good food and excellent service. One of our dishes was slightly delayed, but the manager went out of their way to make it right by offering us a complimentary dessert—a thoughtful and much-appreciated gesture. That kind of service truly sets a place apart. We’ll definitely be back!

If you're a fan of great BBQ and pretty views, this place is an absolute must-visit. Tucked away at the base of the mountain, it offers the perfect mix of rustic charm and natural beauty. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The food was delicious. We were a party of 7 so there was a lot of variety in our order. The ribs were fall off the bone tender, the chicken had a perfect smoky crust, and the sauces added just the right kick. The creamy mac and cheese with pepper and tater tot’s were just right. The prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. It's rare to find a place that delivers this well on taste, vibe, and value all in one package. Highly recommended!
Kristen D — Google review
The food is good, fresh, and seasoned well. However for the price you shouldn’t charge so much to drink plain Lipton iced tea out of a cheap old plastic red cup and charge $2.50 for 2 oz of sauce is insane. The kids chicken tenders is cheap frozen chicken strips that come with nothing fyi. The brisket chili was the best thing that we liked.
Meghin H — Google review
Amazing food every meal we had. The fried ribs were the best ribs I've had in my life and that's hard to say as a Kansas City native.
Simon D — Google review
Got the wings and the pulled pork nachos, both were incredible!! The white sauce for the wings was the perfect balance of creamy and tangy. Would definitely recommend it to anyone in the mood for some good bbq

We cannot say enough positive things about Home Team BBQ's catering services—they provided the most amazing food for our wedding! We were looking for a more causal alternative for our wedding and landed on a BBQ buffet. From the first bite to the last, the quality and taste of the food were absolutely phenomenal. We were truly blown away, and more importantly, our entire wedding guest list was raving! We had so many people tell us it was the best wedding food they had ever eaten. The service was impeccable, and they made the catering process seamless. If you want delicious, high-quality, and crowd-pleasing food that your guests will talk about for years to come, you must choose Home Team BBQ. They are truly top-tier!

Ajax Tavern is a popular mountainside spot in Aspen that offers a mix of French and American cuisine, making it an ideal place to refuel after skiing or snowboarding at Aspen Mountain. The restaurant is known for its iconic truffle fries and Wagyu Double Cheeseburger, as well as its great people-watching opportunities. It's also a favorite among families due to its swanky kids menu featuring options like gruyere mac and cheese and salmon with green beans.
Fabulous lunch spot in Aspen! The double smashed Wagyu burgers and parmesan truffle fries are worth writing home about. Sitting on the patio was lovely! Service was prompt and warm. Located right at the base of the Silver Queen gondola which we were compelled to do after lunch. Great spot!!
Zoë R — Google review
It was just a very underwhelming meal. For starters when we arrived it took quite a while for someone to greet us and just give us water. We sat inside and the head bartender was either in a bad mood or just liked to throw bottles around. Every time he finished a bottle, he literally threw it in the container pretty aggressively. At first, we thought it was an accident but it kept occurring. It was annoying. Additionally, we were disappointed in the lack of cleanliness. There was a large group sitting at a table and quite frankly they made a mess. That's not the restaurant's fault but it stayed that way for the hour and a half that we were there, which was kind of gross. Food all over the table and floor. We had high expectations for this restaurant as our first meal was at element 47 and it was incredible there! Great service, great food so we thought that the Ajax would be the same, but more casual and it certainly was not. It was a three at best. Next time we stay at the Little Nell, we will not go back to Ajax Tavern. Very disappointing.
Gigi B — Google review
Nice atmosphere and crowd. Great wine list, salad for vegans okay. Truffle fries are a classic.
Ben B — Google review
Nice location, right at the base of the gondola station. Indoor and outdoor seating. The indoor seating is ok, some of the high tables are too high and the lighting is odd spotlights down onto faces. Service is great and very friendly. Food was tasty. Dishes are large so they are great for sharing. The wine list is extensive and impressive.
Barbara G — Google review
The octopus appetizer and fries were delicious. Skip the kale quinoa caesar. The morel dish and French onion soup were also hits.
Lynelle N — Google review
This is one of my favorite spots in Aspen. I would start by recommending the cauliflower appetizer. Additionally the cheeseburger is the best burger in the whole valley (or ever) with truffle fries which are incredible. This is the place to bring your family and friends when they come to visit, or to pop in for apres ski. Great view of the mountain, located right at the base of the gondola. The kids Mac n cheese is also banger. Go here.
Shianne Q — Google review
We had dinner, but first sat at the bar, starting with a martini that was excellent—though we had to share one, as the restaurant had run out of Belvedere. That wasn’t the real issue, however. We ordered the beef carpaccio as an appetizer, and it immediately tasted off. I chose not to eat it, but my partner did and unfortunately became very sick later that evening. It was clear the meat wasn’t fresh. On a positive note, the main course was excellent—we really enjoyed the burger. Still, it’s unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber to serve food that’s past its prime.
Francesca C — Google review
Food was good, service was good, location and patio are great. Lots of complaints that it’s over priced but was fairly reasonable and HUGE portions compared to most other restaurants in the area. The mussels were really good and was a huge huge portion, salads were fresh and delicious too.

French Alpine Bistro - Crêperie du Village is a charming and stylish restaurant located in the heart of Aspen village. It offers a cozy patio for enjoying fondue and summer salads, along with an extensive wine list. The bistro is known for its authentic French onion soup, fondue, and European-style crepes, ranging from classic to elaborate options.
I do not have command of a sufficient number of superlatives to explain to you how wonderful this restaurant is! It was like finding an oasis of Paris on a street corner in Aspen. The food was fantastic, the drinks were perfect and the atmosphere was magical. This is our can’t miss option in Aspen.
Chad H — Google review
This restaurant is truly extraordinary. I consider myself an onion soup, connoisseur, and this onion soup was among the best I have ever had. The summer salad was a 8 1/2 out of 10 it was fresh, but had a little too much dressing. The dessert, a crème brûlée crêpe was also to die for I will eat here every time I come to Aspen. It’s truly a wonderful spot. The atmosphere is also very charming and the weight staff was amazing. I really can’t rate it any higher. It was over $100 without tip and no alcohol, but worth it IMHO.
Jonathan L — Google review
Let me start off the review with the food being quite good but definitely not worth the time. For example, when I ordered my meal of the gnocchi truffle (48$), the waiter then ask me if I wanted extra truffles on top. However I was unaware of the ludicrous amount they would rip me off with due to the prices not being mentioned on the menu. Those damn truffles cost more than my entire dish (50$). This place for me is a complete scam for anyone who values their money and dignity as the staff here feel like money-hungry vultures. Although I felt absolutely robbed, the presence and neoclassical design of restaurant was atmospheric and homely. But damn what a scam, this is to warn others not to come here. Greatly disappointed
Adam B — Google review
Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. From the very beginning, the service provided by the waiter Campell left much to be desired: inattentive, uninterested, and unprofessional. As for the food, I ordered the cheese fondue and it was a huge letdown. While the flavor was acceptable, the preparation was terrible—the bottom was so thick and rubbery it felt like chewing gum, while the top was oily and watery, almost like melted butter mixed with water. This is far from what one expects from a proper fondue. Overall, both the service and the quality fell far below expectations. I will definitely not be returning or recommending this place.
Rosa A — Google review
Great staff, food was excellent! This Bistro has a cozy moody vibe. Our new #1 in Aspen. 😊

My good friends were in town and I am so glad we had the pleasure of experiencing French Alpine Bistro! Ana, our server was amazing and welcoming. The food was incredible and the Cheese Fondue was incredible. I have had the pleasure of going to 2 wine dinners thus far this year and not only is the food and wine exquisite but the pricing for the quality and portions is one of the best in town. I highly recommend this restaurant and they even allow private parties. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, and intimate. Make your reservations early!

Great food. Thanks. Our waiters from Argentina gave us a great service. Everything was delicious.

Absolutely fantastic experience at the French Alpine Bistro. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top notch. Cozy French place located in basement cave that feels like you’re traveled to mountain chalet in Alps. High end feel but not stuffy or pretentious. We loved our mains - all on point Alpine dishes like Wiener Schnitzel, etc. server was super friendly. Highly recommend. One of our favorite dinners in Aspen.

Aspen Hickory House is a beloved BBQ spot known for its slow-smoked meats and classic sides. The restaurant caters to a diverse crowd, from hardhats to Hermes bags, offering a low-key atmosphere for everyone. The menu features outstanding ribs, onion rings, and au gratin potatoes that have garnered praise from locals. Visitors can fuel up for the day with all-day breakfast options or indulge in slow-smoked baby back ribs paired with eggs.
Got the munchies last night so I ordered the wife and I 2 milk shakes and a rack of ribs. The milkshakes were tasty and the ribs hit the spot. Saw their breakfast menu and went back the morning to dine in for a late breakfast. The food was great I enjoyed the eggs Bennie with short stack of pancakes. The wife had the chicken and waffles. All of our dishes were good. Solid home cooked meal. The waiter got us what we needed to have a good dinning experience. He was not very personable but did his task. Will drop by again.

As luck would have it, we stumbled across this amazing restaurant, in Aspen. This @hickoryhousebbq is the real deal. It was featured on that @guyfieri @diners_driveins_dives show! The ribs were amazing and we ended up buying some extra jugs of their barbecue sauce to take home!! The service was friendly and professional. Although we came in at 8:00 PM we were amazed at how many people, a lot of large families, came in after us. Obviously, this is a great place for locals.

Wow what a great place to grab food in Aspen! We were lucky to visit on a day when the weather was nice so they had all the doors open and the breeze was amazing. But let’s not miss the food. Food was delicious. We ordered the full rack of ribs to share and some jalapeño cheese sausage. Wow! Ribs were good but the show stopper was the sausage. So good.

Fantastic food as reasonable as it gets in the area. Generous portions and tasty. It came recommended to us and they were right. They squeezed us in for last kitchen call and it was great!

Really good food with a fair price for the Aspen area. I ordered the ribeye steak sandwich, and it was a good portion, right flavors, and honestly more than the sandwich can handle. The fries are good too, and the staff is helpful.
Azzam A — Google review
I can’t brag on this place enough and I was only there for like 30 minutes. Yes it is pricey but the food quality is amazing, probably the best garlic toast I’ve ever had , the service was great kind and fast. They let you keep your cup great atmosphere very clean. I would 1000% recommend and Hope to go again I traveled all the way from Colorado Springs.

Aspen Colorado's Hickory House is hands down the best barbecue restaurant in the state of Colorado I think because of the signature sauces and the food, not because of the great chill atmosphere and the beautiful mountain views which it boasts. Definitely if you go to Aspen Colorado you have to try Hickory House. If this review helps you please give it a like 👍 Thank you

J-Bar is a historic saloon located in the Hotel Jerome, standing for over 130 years at the corner of Main and Mill streets. It has been a popular spot through various eras, including the Prohibition period when it was a favored hangout. The bar's legendary 'Aspen Crud,' a boozy milkshake, remains on the menu today.
J-Bar in Aspen is a must-visit for anyone who loves a mix of history and great food. This iconic bar, once a favorite hangout of Hunter S. Thompson, retains its old-school charm while serving up one of the best burgers in town. The atmosphere is lively yet nostalgic, making it the perfect spot to soak in Aspen’s rich history with a perfectly crafted drink and a delicious, juicy burger. A true gem!

Be super careful to eat here. - We saw a mouse running inside the dining area. When we told the server, his response was: “Oh yeah? It’s close to winter.” - Service was careless. They messed up our order. - The food quality itself was ok A restaurant that dismisses a mouse like that is unsafe and unprofessional. Be careful!

The drinks were creative and perfectly balanced, and the menu had a great mix of options. Everything we tried was excellent. The staff made the experience even better with their friendly and attentive service. It’s the kind of place where you can relax, enjoy amazing cocktails, and really take in the Aspen vibe.

Spent a 3day weekend in Aspen, mostly dining out every evening. Every review at places said pricey for what you get served. Including this place. Buffalo Burgers are usually expensive anyway... I can say as a fact that the size of the burger was large and thick, perfectly cooked! Juicy Tasted Wonderfully delicious!! I forget what my friend ordered but she did say it was the best thing she ate so far on the trip. We did go on a Sunday kinda late. When we walked past to the hiking trails it was packed all the times.

This is a beautiful old style little bar with amazing service and even better food and drinks. We stopped in on a hot afternoon in the summer and had a fantastic waiter who made perfect recommendations for some afternoon cocktails and served us an incredible blue corn bread skillet with popcorned butter. It's pricey, but definitely worth the indulgence. We will probably return for desserts later on!

Great service. Fellow behind the bar was great, but it was $38 for a burger and the burger wasn’t really that flavorful and had a lot of gristle in it. I really would not have minded the price if it had been tasty, but it was very mediocre and I was surprised about the quality of the beef. The side Caesar salad was also bland, and the extra dressing did not help. Everything looked nice but was simply not very Flavorful. Would recommend for the drinks and service, not the food.

We'll - it's true! What a great bar and food - fun and brilliant bartenders too! We were looking for "Aspen's Best Hamburger" - I'm sure there are other good ones, but ones been rated #1, and we agree! Beautifully served and delicious - get the fries too! We also had a tasty Caesar Salad snd Lsmb Meatballs w sauce, dates, and figs - yum! Our bartender, Ben was a total pro - made us a few "off the menu" creating drinks - raspberry rum and coffee? - sounds crazy - but was great and he's got sone super-powers for creative drinks. Great good - drinks - people - a d as always, elegant Cowboys and Cowgirls Jerome historic fun!

Meat & Cheese Restaurant and Farm Shop is a trendy spot that offers artisanal breads, meats, and cheeses alongside a selection of wine, cocktails, and beer. The restaurant has shifted to offering only to-go food during the winter season, prompting executive chef Bryan Garneau to revamp the menu for easy transport.
Meat & Cheese is the perfect little lunch spot in downtown Aspen if you’re looking for a quality bite to eat with great service. I had the street tacos and I enjoyed the fact it was Wagyu beef which isn’t typical for this type of dish. A friend had the quesabirria tacos which they enjoyed. My absolute favorite part of the meal was the salted chocolate chip cookie board which came with two cookies and vanilla milk. The cookies were SENSATIONAL!!! Perfectly baked, warm and gooey in the middle while still maintaining the ideal level of crunch throughout. They were so delicious I went back later that night after dinner at Matsuhisa to get another batch for me and my driver. Ambiance inside was nice and cozy. As a first time visitor, I enjoyed the fact they had a great selection of cheese, meats, wine, and gifts for purchase to round out the experience. Overall 9/10.

Went to celebrate my mom’s birthday and wow, I still dream about this place. If I had to pick a last meal, this would be it. I got the steak board and ate every last bite. My mom got the rotisserie chicken board. We sat outside and the views from downtown Aspen were absolutely breathtaking. The service was warm and pleasant, which made the whole experience even better. If you love steak, potatoes, and a good heartwarming meal, this spot is a must-try.

overall not bad! the meat and cheese board i’d say was a bit overpriced for what we got. it was mostly crackers. loved the mustard! we ordered the steak board and the vietnamese salad. the steak board was pretty good, the steak was a little underdone though. the salad was heavily lacking flavor, the sauce was almost the consistency of water and was not flavorful. there was also fried onions on it which didn’t really make sense to me.

Despite the restaurant’s name they have more than just meat and cheese here. Enjoyed their Vietnamese chicken salad and it was the best single lunch dish I’ve had in Aspen. Great combination of chicken, egg, cucumber, carrot, lettuce, noodles, and fried onions. Try to snag a table outside on their patio — atmosphere outdoors is five stars vs. indoors a little bit more cramped and only four stars. Service at the bar was very good.

The 3% charge to offset the “high cost of living in paradise” feels inappropriate. Guests come to Aspen expecting premium prices, but not additional fees justified by the staff’s local living expenses. If costs are high, they should be reflected transparently in menu pricing, not added as an emotional surcharge. Food is good. Service average:

I had a really nice experience dining here! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and everything I ordered tasted really good. The flavors were on point, and you can tell the food is made with care. The only thing I’d mention is that the steak was a bit on the chewy side, but still flavorful. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal.

Our server recommended the Pastrami and the Quesabirria tacos and they were flavorful and unique. The pastrami was spicy, tangy, and had great texture. The tacos had wonderful consomé and had a tender meat. Highly recommend this place!

Food was good although menu is somewhat limited. Value by Aspen standards is above average. My one drawback would be the seating is tight. If you don't mind listening to conversations and having others listen to yours, you'll be fine here.

Big Wrap is a cash-only eatery located in Aspen, offering a variety of wraps, salads, tacos, and smoothies. It's known for its great variety of vegetarian and vegan food that is affordable, filling, and bursting with flavor. The extensive menu caters to all taste buds and includes a large array of tasty fresh plant-based ingredients.
As a longtime Aspen local, The Big Wrap has been a go-to spot for years—and for good reason. It’s one of the rare places in town where you can count on fresh, healthy food at a reasonable price without sacrificing flavor or speed. The staff has always been friendly, upbeat, and welcoming, even during the busiest lunch rushes. Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite between ski runs or picking up a post-hike recharge, they keep the vibe casual and the service efficient. Favorites like the Hail Caesar and To Thai For never miss, but everything on the menu is solid. The ingredients are consistently fresh, and the portion sizes hit that sweet spot—satisfying without being over-the-top. In a town where dining can feel overpriced or overhyped, The Big Wrap is the real deal. Affordable, consistent, and local-loved. Still one of the best lunch spots in Aspen.

The most delicious salads ever! We got the vegan southwestern and the oriental! Yum yum yum! Had to stand in a line but they move fast! We also got the swinger smoothie which was great. Def coming back for the hot wraps!

This place gives good food for the reasonable price. The place is small and noisy for dine in. Best is Togo. It has crowd. I felt the service or staff was not friendly. My feeling was they were busy. Also when I asked for a napkin, they took two and from that they picked one and gave. About food: The spinach wrap was good for vegan options Chow - had good taste, neutral and original to the flavour Peach on beach - good mix. But I felt peach was dominated by the other berry

Probably the most affordable food in Aspen at $12-15 per person that’s not City Market grab and go. I recommend calling in your order 30-45 minutes ahead of time during peak hours and on weekends otherwise you’ll be standing in line for at least that long. Awesome wraps, good salads and tasty smoothies. I always get the chow baby, but wrapzilla is also good. Surprisingly decent chips and guacamole here as well!

I had the To Thai For with chicken wrap and although it seems to be a popular order there was two creamy for my taste. The ingredients seem clean but the overall combination was not for my pallet. Their peach smoothie was nice and refreshing. Service was efficient and pleasant. The place is small and only has very tight indoor counter seating.

A must-visit for an amazing gourmet wrap experience!! A quaint little underground eatery where you can eat your heart out for a good value! The 'To Thai For ' and 'Chow Baby' were what we ordered, but others looked just as delectable 🤤🤤🤤 All of their smoothies are a must-try, too!!! Especially the super healthy ones😉😎

We had the Pesto Wrapture with tofu instead of chicken and let me tell you — it’s sooo delicious! I honestly wasn’t expecting much, and since we weren’t too hungry, we only bought one. But I regret it now — we should’ve grabbed two! I definitely recommend this place! Especially with so many vegetarian options. Shoutout to the owner — the cashier told us that the lady who made the wrap has been running this spot for 28 years, and you can really tell she loves what she does! 😃

The rating on this restaurant is way too low. This is my favorite restaurant in Aspen. This is the restaurant everyone ends up at the Owner is the nicest guy you’ll ever meet and he comes out and talks to you and is very appreciative for visiting. The dishes are amazing and I will post pictures of them. The sesame salmon is phenomenal and melts in your mouth. Make sure you add this restaurant to your list when you visit Aspen

Okay this is hands down one of my fav spots in town. The staff is so fun and friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home - Erika always welcomes you with a smile, Troy is my fav server he makes the best recommendations and is so fun, and Manny behind the bar makes the best drinks. Also don’t sleep on their happy hour - $3.50 oysters with roe and $12 cocktails - AMAZING. Everyone else is great too. Love their patio so much - vibes are immaculate. Oh and the sushi and food? Incredible. Great vegan options too. Love the kale fried rice and bonsai roll, and the fish is always so fresh!

We absolutely loved this place, and we actually went three times there during a 7-day trip. yes, it is very expensive (which I expect lowers the rating for some), but the sushi is very fresh and very tasty. Atmosphere and service are good (not amazing, hence 4 stars for that). We thought the sushi was as good as other high-end sushi restaurants we have tried elsewhere, and the eel on rice was outstanding. Highly recommend!

We loved this place and the vibrancy. It really was amazing. The services was great and everyone was very friendly. We love raw sushi and they had many selections, it really hard to choose but we went with the sugar daddy. In addition, it was one of our anniversary places we chose and they did make us feel very loved & even surprised us with a small dessert! Would recommend trying at least one thing from their menu — small & big portions! You will not regret it!

My absolute favorite staff of any Aspen Snowmass restaurant. Professional but amazing banter if you engage with them. And Frank is the man!

Amazing food and such a great experience! The lobster seafood ramen was cooked perfectly and so flavorful, and the presentation was beautiful. The handmade dumplings and crispy fried salt & pepper squid were also delicious — super fresh and seasoned just right. Lychee Love is one of their fruity cocktails. Not a fruity drinker, try their Millionaire Margarita. The staff were really friendly. You can tell they really care about both the food and the service here. Definitely one of my new favorite spots — I’ll be coming back for sure! Rock Shrimp Tempura became one of my fav app to start with!

Interesting tiny restaraunt in downtown Aspen! Really small on the inside and super mountain-y decorative. Outdoor tables were lovely with this great weather. Food was pretty good. Not many options for breakfast and the continental breakfast was $40 which is insane even for aspen. Latte was great and service was phenomenal. Bathroom is outside in a public building. Was satisfying but not worth the price.

I was served cappuccino in a to-go cup. Indicated that I was staying and it was switched to a 7-9 oz rocks glass. Please note pics with my cappaccino and the other is the unused cappacino mugs. Travelling the state with my brother who is in town on State Business. I guess since I had a backpack and sat at the bar I was considered a transient. Decided to order a club, tipped more than 25% anyway, total > $60. I was not asked how my food was until I was almost done. It was 2:00, end of lunch and I was the sole occupant at the bar. Wrote this review at the bar since the staff would not talk to me. Good luck!

We came to The Bear Den for an evening of apps and cocktails, and it did not disappoint. The Aperol spritz was perfectly balanced—bright, refreshing, and beautifully served. The sliders were just as impressive: juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a chic mountain feel that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Service was spot-on—friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed. Between the drinks, the food, and the setting, The Bear Den is exactly the kind of place that keeps Aspen dining special

I’d say the food was good, but the service really wasn’t. If I had read the reviews mentioning poor service, I probably wouldn’t have come — but unfortunately, I didn’t, and ended up starting my day with a disappointing experience. Not only did we wait much longer than a table that arrived after us, but the server also seemed confused about the drink he was serving. And to top it off, after we had already paid — including a 28% tip for a brunch for four — he accidentally spilled soy sauce on my husband. I understand accidents happen, but his response was terrible. He just said 'sorry' twice and walked away. I asked for some wet tissues, but he only brought two dry napkins. Honestly, this level of service didn’t deserve any tip at all. It seems like the owner or manager doesn’t care about reviews, so I’m sharing this for future customers who don’t want to ruin their morning with this kind of service.

Look no further for literally the PERFECT brunch spot. It was charming both inside and the outside patio. The food was phenomenal! Everything my friends and I had was wonderful. From food, to cocktails, and coffee (including a dolce de leche affogato) it was delicious. 11/10 recommend
Olivia O — Google review
While the food was great & atmosphere was fun, this place need a reality check. $5 for the extra whip cream (less than a table spoon) and you have to pay for coffee refills.

Had a great brunch here before hitting the road. Breakfast burrito was sizable and filling, got it with the chroizo which was not spicy even though they say it is a little. My wife got the salmon Benedict which was very fresh and had a generous portion of salmon and the hollandaise was house made and really good. The cozy cabin/house is adorable and has a great vibe overall. Note that it is small and tight, would be tough to bring any sizable group here, recommend reservations during the season. We got in on a Monday (Presidents’ Day) without one and it was full but didn’t seem to be a wait at any point.

White House Tavern is a charming eatery located in a 19th-century miner's cottage, offering an intimate dining experience. The menu features elevated sandwiches, burgers, salads, and craft cocktails. One of their highlights is the Parigi-style pizza, a focaccia-like creation with various seasonal flavors on a white base. The tavern also offers low rates and seasonal discounts for patrons to enjoy their hearty portions of food.
Excellent lunch here on almost all levels. Our two salads were creative and perfectly executed, as was my cocktail. Servers were super friendly, and the atmosphere was beautiful! Only downside was the slooooow service. My husband ordered a 2nd beer halfway through his meal, but it took so long to come out we had finished by the time it arrived. They did comp it (we only had time to drink 2 sips before we left), but beer should be super quick and they should put a rush on it when you're in the middle of your meal. Other than that, spot on, and we would for sure go back!

Fantastic restaurant. Food tasted great. Worth the long wait for a table (over an hour for a party of 4), especially if you have other things to do around Aspen. The kids loved the food. Plenty of other families with kids dined around us. The menu had just the right level of sophistication that elevated it beyond the simplicity but still allowed it to be done well without alienating the kids. Service was attentive and allowed accommodation for food allergy. Sitting on the patio near the road has its disadvantages. Noise from the cars and motorcycles passing by often distracted from the atmosphere. But on a sunny afternoon I would still recommend sitting outside.

Everything how it should be. For Europeans: after 10 days i managed to eat for the first time fresh salad and vegetables. Quality food, for a slightly higher price (Aspen...) and really nice waitresses who made our lunch 10/10. Can only recommend it!

We had the pleasure of dining here for lunch with friends during a quick visit to Aspen last week. It’s always a great experience but it’s particularly refreshing to see a restaurant staff on their “A-Game” when mediocrity has become the norm so many places. Everything about our lunch was great, but especially the professional service.
Braun M — Google review
I was so disappointed by this place with the ratings it has. Located in downtown aspen, this place has wonderful views and atmosphere but it goes downhill from there. The waitress acted very bothered by our presence and seemed unhappy with her job. She seemed to be pressuring us to move faster and get out. I understand it’s a busy weekend in the middle of leaf peeping season but you can still be polite. When we stated we would just be getting apps and drinks she rolled her eyes and stated she would try to get us moved to the bar since we were seated in a “full dining section”. We were ordering drinks and appetizers! After we got our appetizer she immediately brought us the check like she couldn’t wait to get rid of us. Very upsetting and confusing treatment. Food was ok. But not necessarily worth the aspen premium.

French dip sandwich is good. I also like the chicken sandwich, but the chicken is super thin. Like 1/4 inch thick. Great flavors though which leaves me conflicted. Skip the fries, horrible, thin, flavorless. Salads and deviled eggs look good, but I have not tried them.

We ordered lasagna, veal parmigiana, and shrimp fettuccine. All three pasta portions were small, but my fettuccine was notably tiny. It felt like the chef ran out of pasta and sent the dish out anyway. The sauce was ample, enough for 30% more pasta, and the shrimp portion was adequate. The food tasted fine, though not exceptional. For the first time, I felt compelled to complain about portion size to our server. The owner was kind enough to address my concern, explaining that the town is encouraging restaurants to reduce food waste. However, my portion was insufficient, barely suitable for a child, let alone an adult, especially after a day outdoors. Despite good service, I wouldn’t return to this restaurant based on the portion sizes alone. At $38 for a plate of pasta—a fair price in Aspen—I was surprised by the tiny amount. I don’t mind paying higher prices, but the portions need to be reasonable without customers having to complain.

We really enjoyed our Saturday night at Brunelleschi’s! We were able to walk in and get a table at 6:30 with a short wait (this seems like a miracle since it was packed!). We got the flatiron pizza and the Alana salad and our son got to make his own pizza at the table and then they went and cooked it which was a fun experience! Would definitely recommend.

We were two big families who walked into this restaurant without a reservation or any prior research—we actually found it by chance after all the restaurants downstairs were full and spotted its entrance upstairs. There were 10 of us in total, plus a dog, including four kids. And we found the perfect table to fit us all! The staff here were incredibly warm, pet-friendly, and so kind to the kids. Since we didn’t plan ahead, we weren’t sure what to order—but everything we chose turned out to be delicious! We even saw kids at another table making their own pizzas—definitely something we’ll try next time! At first, we were worried that a large group like ours might be turned away (as happened with another restaurant downstairs), but here, we felt completely welcome. The food came out quickly, water was refilled promptly, empty plates were cleared right away, and the servers were thoughtful and attentive. It made for an unforgettable Saturday lunch break during our four-day camping trip. Thank you—we love you guys!

Sat out on the patio for a nice summer night dinner. Lot of choices on the menu but ended up getting Bruno’s Meat Pizza as a calzone. It came out not looking like any calzone I’ve ever had, but it was very good and cooked well with a nice crisp on the crust. My only complaint is the portion for the price, a personal calzone costing roughly $30 ($28) seems insane, but it is Aspen.

Nestled within the stunning Aspen Meadows Resort, West End Social is a vibrant dining destination that debuted for the 2023-2024 winter season. This delightful eatery showcases seasonal American cuisine while offering breathtaking mountain views. Under the creative guidance of chef de cuisine Rachel Saxton and executive pastry chef Sara Figueiredo, guests can embark on a culinary journey featuring local Colorado ingredients infused with global flavors.
The patio has a stunning view and is open and airy and beautiful. Definitely sit there if the weather is ok. The food was “farm to table” fresh, imaginative and tasty. The burrata and heirloom tomato appetizer and the strawberry sorbet dessert (see photo below) were especially good. The food was beautiful to look at also. We had excellent, knowledgeable and customer-centric service from Tyler. All in all a wonderful experience. We will be back! ps one more thing - no noise issues. We could hear each other and have a conversation!

We had excellent and quality food and service. Sang, our server, made us feel like royalty with his quick and friendly service and thé food was exquisite! We enjoyed the sweet and salty caviar bumps as an appetizer, followed by duck and wagyu steak and scallops. For dessert, it was a plate called the bee's knees, which alas, I cannot tell you what it was but they looked like big fat honey bees pastry that was delicious. I can't emphasize enough how delicious everything was. We went for dinner at around 7 pm and clouds were rolling in where it dampered the beautiful sunset that we were seeing on the mountains but overall it was a beautiful view to enjoy dinner out on the patio. Thanks Sang for such a lovely evening for my husband and I to enjoy!

April was an amazing server. She was attentive and very knowledgeable. And Cara helped us make a decision about dessert! The setting was perfect. All in all a beautiful evening and experience our first night in Aspen.

Best view, incredible service and really good food. Seriously the patio view- highly recommend. The service from Sang incredible too! Such unique food pairings. Try caviar on gelato

We really enjoyed dinner here. The bartender Mitch was fantastic, and our waiter Sang was also fabulous. The food was amazing, so flavorful. Will definitely come back.

Our new favorite place! We went late afternoon, so we had a variety of apps--nuts, olives, truffle fries, caviar gelato. Food was good, the view is phenomenal, service is good. Must visit place in Aspen.
Stuart F — Google review
Tried 6 dishes across 2 days here and each one was delicious, well balanced taste. Ambiance is incredible - book a table at 6:30 this season for sunset view directly through huge windows. Surprising in a good way take on gnocchi that are almost crunchy. Halibut was cooked to perfection, like a soft pillow but cooked through perfectly and has nuanced notes, quite delicate. A final surprise was delicious desserts from an in-house pastry chef who worked in Michelin starred restaurant before. And all that came out much cheaper than in other restaurants in Aspen surprisingly.

CP Burger is a trendy eatery that offers burgers, hot dogs, and delicious shakes with a twist. Situated near Aspen Mountain, this casual dining spot boasts an exceptional warm-weather miniature golf course and the only outdoor ice skating rink in Aspen. Alongside their renowned burgers, they also prioritize customer safety by adhering to CDC guidelines during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. With its diverse menu options, CP Burger provides an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Excellent burger and fries! Some may call it fast food but it definitely tasted fresh. Got the Chicano burger- deliciously spicy and hearty. Truffle fries were ok, felt like the Parmesan was lacking a little. Overall, a great experience. Love the idea of a mini golf connected to this- such a family friendly idea
J T — Google review
Overpriced but I guess that’s the theme of aspen itself . Fries were too salty. Cold and hard falafels. Grilled cheese was too stiff. Tater torts are good. You will be spending a minimum of $20 per person if you need a meal. Meal sizes are small. Burgers sizes here would be what you get in a toddler’s menu in Texas. Over priced (did I say that) Not sure if aspen overall is overrated or is it just this place. People at the front desk were good though- no complaints
D W — Google review
Showed up at 10:30 AM on a sunny Saturday in July to play mini golf—silly us for thinking a kid-friendly spot in Aspen might open before 11. CP Burger, the restaurant that runs the mini golf course out front (and turns it into an ice-skating rink in winter), apparently follows a strict no-fun-before-11 policy. Staff wouldn’t let us start even 10 minutes early. One was busy with her phone, the other enjoying breakfast. Must be a very strict yogurt-eating schedule. Once we finally got in ($12 per person, no kid rate), the course was falling apart—warped wood, loose boards, water damage. But hey, at least they’re consistent: poor service and poor maintenance. Definitely a highlight of our trip—if you enjoy paying to be treated like an inconvenience.

I just wanna say this place has shitty customer service, employers are rude and have a lot of attitude. Mind you it’s my first time there thought it would be better. There was a bird flying in the restaurant. Don’t get me wrong food was good but I didn’t even receive all the food I ordered I paid extra for it. Once I asked the guy where my food was he just pointed at the order and rolled his eyes.

Despite explicitly stating our dietary restriction(beef), the incorrect item was served. It was disheartening to discover the presence of something we avoid in our meal. This unfortunate incident has left us feeling quite let down. We hope for better attention to detail in the future.

I visited CP Burger last week along with a couple of my friends. The place is located diagonally opposite Ruby Park Transit Center. The place has decent seating capacity and ambience. We ordered their Grilled Chicken Burgers along with CP Fries. Due to lunch time, the entire place was completely occupied, however we were lucky we got the seats. The service staff delivered our order in a blink. We were happy with their services. Coming to the taste section, the burger was awesome in taste however the CP Fries has scope to improve. Overall we had a great time here and would love to go back and try out other varieties of burgers. Cheers!

Burger and fries tasted good but the burger may have been a little under done and their soda dispensers were not all working correctly. The grilled cheese was seasoned great. The workers were super nice and helpful. The place was clean.

Zane's Tavern Aspen is an unpretentious watering hole that offers a menu filled with classic bar food like chili, wings, burgers, and tacos. It's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike who are looking for comfort food at reasonable prices. The tavern has plenty of indoor seating as well as a spacious outdoor patio, making it an ideal place to gather with friends after outdoor activities or to catch a game.
Great service, owners teen son helps out and seems like a solid young man, and the Philly was legitimately one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s not good “for Aspen” it’s just amazing overall. The fries were really good too. I want to try other menu items but the Philly is so good (I add jalapeños) it’s hard not to get it.

The wings are very very good! The tvs all were playing hockey game except one with baseball. Suggest playing a few more sports on the other tvs. Great atmosphere and my server was so smiley and nice!

We loved this place. Its small but quaint. Its a bar, so expect just that. Friendly people and they apparently allow pets inside. Normally that would have turned me away but the dog was friendly and did not bother people. Everything we has was great and so was the service.
Mellanies S — Google review
Super laid-back and casual tavern downstairs, with a very eclectic menu and full bar. Some seating outside. The staff was terrific, very helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious except the fish tacos weren’t very appetizing and didn’t have much taste. However, the grilled steak tacos were absolutely delicious as was the grilled chicken tacos - reminded us of California street tacos, all served in fresh corn tortillas and tasty salsa on the side. Each taco had two corn tortillas which held the generous portions of meats and fish. The Caesar salad was very crisp, fresh, and was served with a very tasty Caesar dressing. The sweet potato fries were yummy. Quick service, would go back for more of those really good meat based tacos.

This place feels like a little taste of home—warm, inviting, and full of character. The beer is top-notch and reasonably priced, and the food looked absolutely mouthwatering. Definitely worth the stop if you want to experience where the locals actually go. @7,920k feet

Good atmosphere. We came and they were playing the chiefs game. It was pretty busy. There was not a lot of seating soon we waited about 10 minutes. The waitress was good. I think we waited <30 minutes for our food. The food was good bar food. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and that was good. It was $17 with fries. The other is chili and it was mid and that was $10.

Little Ollie's Aspen is an established, family-owned restaurant that specializes in traditional Chinese cuisine and popular dishes like dim sum. The establishment prides itself on offering a high level of expertise and service while maintaining a laid-back atmosphere. In addition to its non-vegan options, the restaurant also provides a few vegan choices, such as the Orange Peel Beef made with tofu. However, it should be noted that their dumplings contain egg and are therefore not suitable for vegans.
Craving some spicy food and decided to give this place a try! While the flavors aren’t the most authentic Szechuan, it’s definitely worth it for this town. The dishes hit the spot with the right amount of heat, and portions are generous. A great choice when you’re in the mood for bold flavors and something different. Started Lazi Chicken ( Crispy Chicken with chilies ) and Chill Oil steamed wontons ( pork) as appetizers. The Szechuan Hot Oil Steak was especially tasty — the rich flavors pair perfectly with rice I usually eat pretty spicy, so I’d rate their “3 chili” spice level about a 4/10 for me. But for my friend who doesn’t eat much spice, it was more like a 9/10 — so it really depends on your tolerance.
Ming-Jing L — Google review
Not authentic authentic Chinese food but it's taste is alright and ingredients are fresh. Great service and pricing are reasonable in an expensive area.

Honestly, this was one of favorite restaurants in Aspen. Our experience was great! The service was outstanding and the food was delicious. I had sesame chicken, pot stickers, beef and Brocoli( my sister) and Wonton noodle soups. Everything very very good 👍 👌
Andrea — Google review
Nice portion sizes and speed. It’s pricey but what in aspen is not. Lots of vegan / plant-based options. My wife and I split the green beans and the tofu lettuce wraps. We got an extra side of white rice and that was enough food for a light dinner! Recommended for takeout or dine in.
Ben B — Google review
The food was tasty and the service was good, The prices were on the higher side. They had plenty of seating. We tried fried rice, chilli oil wonton and mushu duck from their menu. 2 star rating because, we were charged extra via tips than we approved. The amount was refunded back after we called.

Visited Little Ollie’s Aspen in the off season. The whole town was very quiet as was the restaurant. Food was all OK - I really enjoyed the General Tao’s Chicken, but not so much our Szechuan Beef dish which was very watery for our liking. Restaurant was all clean and service was fine. Atmosphere would be much better when it’s busier I’m sure.

Wow, wow, wow! We read about Mawa's and dropped in for lunch last Wednesday. Our food was amazing and the roasted tomato soup and jerk chicken were sublime! We loved Mawa's so much, we came back two days later for dinner. The gumbo tasted like heaven! And three cheers for the bartender who made such an amazing orange cocktail, we had two! The flavor of the food here is next-level!! And the staff was so friendly and accommodating. The gnocchi was so delicious, light yet comforting, and the peach burrata was melt in your mouth. What a beautiful dinner amidst the mountains. Easily the best food in Aspen.

This is by far the best restaurant in Aspen. It might not be in the center of town, but it is so worth the small drive to get to it. The food is fresh and delicious and most of it is organic with a unique twist. Their brunch is incredible, Highly recommend the pancakes and shakshuka. Such amazing food and we listened to a live jazz band! Truly the best Sunday brunch in Aspen. A must!!
Danielle T — Google review
Amazing! There was no detail left undone. The service was incredible for a busy Sunday morning, coffee hot, fresh juices, and everything was made from scratch. They are known for the pancakes and we decided to order a 1/2 after breakfast. Definitely worth it. Best we have ever had. When we come back to the area, we will be stopping here again!
B B — Google review
This is a very unassuming place, especially for a Michelin rated restaurant. I went for brunch and got the shakshuka and the lavender matcha latte. Both were FANTASTIC and I've had these items several times from other restaurants. The service was quick and attentive, the drink and food came out quickly, and everything was at a perfect temperature. The best part? Brunch here is very reasonably priced for the area, the quality, and the prestige. It's certainly not cheap, but it is a great value if you appreciate good food.

The ingredients were so fresh, and the food itself tasted wonderful. Everything felt fresh and full of flavor. The beautiful flowers, warm atmosphere, and friendly staff made the experience absolutely perfect. I truly enjoyed every moment here!

Mawa's Kitchen is a delightful brunch spot that excels in both flavor and variety. We tried the Denver omelette and French toast, both of which were exceptional. The omelette was hearty, packed with fresh ingredients, and the French toast was perfectly fluffy and decadent. I also appreciated the vegan options, particularly the tofu scramble, which was a satisfying alternative that didn’t skimp on taste. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax over a leisurely meal. While the prices are slightly on the higher side, the portion sizes are generous, ensuring you leave feeling full and satisfied. Overall, Mawa's Kitchen is a must-visit for brunch lovers looking for quality dishes and inclusive options.

Great place to grab a quick bite and some tap beer 🍺👌. Authentic aspen classic spot. Burgers were great and filling. The steak sandwich was small and delicious. Fries were really fresh and crispy. Chairs at rhe high tables are not very comfortable, so if you're planning on sitting for a while the bar stools or 2 person tables seemed to be more comfortable.

Great place to grab a beer and hang out. Burrata was delicious, service was great. But we were disappointed by the 'tempura' chicken wings. They were more like chicken nuggets.

Awesome Old Fashioned. Salads were great but I should have asked what was included in the “grilled vegetables”. LOTS of mushrooms and I’m not a fan. The Burrata was epic!

Good food, great alcohol and beer selection (didn't have any but noticed their extensive selection). Hubby had Ruben, I had salad, kids split chicken sandwich, all split bruschetta. Everything was so good. Wait staff was friendly and could eat inside or out. It's in a historic building, which is cool too.
Biology N — Google review
I am sorry to admit that I had initially dismissed this place from the outside as a tourist trap, given its central location and proximity to the Opera House. I am so happy to report that I was wildly wrong, and had one of the best meals in Aspen yet. While some places may turn away a lone diner looking for a dedicated table instead of bar seating on a busy Friday night, I was warmly accommodated after a (relatively painless) ~20min wait in the queue. After that, service was FAST, getting my order and bringing it out in what must have been around 10-15 minutes tops. Their menu is creative yet focused, and and frankly for the quality, highly affordable. An amazingly prepared double stack Angus burger on a pillowy brioche bun with fries for $18.75? A side of truffle potatoes for just $11.75?? This is frankly ridiculous affordability for 2025, especially for the quality. The only thing on the menu at a more "normal" (read: mildly painful) price are the cocktails, but even there I felt I got a lot of bang for my buck - excellent quality, fun recipe (Cucumbers in Space), and a tall, wide glass that didn't skimp on the alcohol. So, yeah. Maybe I shouldn't call attention to the affordability + quality of this place, lest they decide to hike the price... but for once, it just felt like my dollar was ACTUALLY paying for a great portion of high quality food in a delightful and unobtrusive atmosphere. This is how you do a decent night out without breaking the bank. Everyone else... take notes!!
Ben J — Google review
Excellent selection of bourbons here but avoid the rarest ones. The markup on them is totally unreasonable. $250 a pour for pappy 20 year is ridiculous, $800 a pour for double eagle? That's only a 2k bottle. The food is good but avoid the glamour of hard to find bottles if you have any common sense. Remember the longer that bottle sits open the less it's worth.
Jacob H — Google review
Cool rustic setting. The food and drinks were great. Unfortunately our waitress did not know anything about the menu, restaurant, WiFi, etc and two of our items came out different from the menu. The kitchen was missing ingredients and did not tell us until we were eating. Still a great spot to grab a burger made from local beef

After living in Aspen for a while, I wanted to try a new restaurant. Luckily, I found this amazing place. The food was delicious, especially the crispy and tasty chicken fried steak and the chicken sandwich. They even have my favorite French rose wine, which is sometimes hard to find in the winter. I can't wait to go back in the summer, sit on the patio, and enjoy the beautiful view! Our server was very attentive and provided great customer service.

We sat outside to enjoy the beautiful view of the golf course. The place was busy, we went for drinks and desserts. The cheese cake was magnificent and the bread pudding one of the best I ever had. We had the chicken last time we came and it was very tasty and juicy. It could use a renovation since it looks very updated.

The perfect place for outdoor dining! Amazing views of the Aspen golf course and mountains from the spacious back patio. The space inside is a casual pub/sports bar style. A very short drive or a bike ride from downtown Aspen. The food is very good and affordable - a mix of comfort food and healthy options. I love the salad with wild caught blackened salmon. During the summer they have lobster nights once a week. A reservation is required. Definitely stop by to have a scenic breakfast (check if available), lunch or a casual dinner and avoid the crowds in downtown Aspen’s casual eateries while enjoying beautiful views and good pub food.

Origin by The Farmer & Chef is a delightful gem nestled away from the hustle and bustle of Aspen's main street, offering a serene dining experience surrounded by nature. This casual eatery serves up an impressive array of meals throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Diners rave about the generous portions and high-quality ingredients that make every dish memorable.
⸻ We had an amazing brunch experience at Origin in Aspen! My family and I ordered several dishes, and each one was better than the other. The flavors, presentation, and cozy atmosphere made it a memorable meal. Just a heads-up: a 22% service charge was automatically added because we were a group of more than six people — something to keep in mind when dining with a larger party. Overall, highly recommended!

At first, looking at the menu, I hesitated because the prices seemed relatively high. However, this place is absolutely worth every penny. The vegetables are incredibly fresh, the plating is elegant, and the service is exceptionally kind. I ordered the avocado toast, chicken sandwich, Mexican cola, and coffee. The avocado toast came with what tasted like cucumbers and pickled radish on top, along with a very generous portion of avocado. It had a sophisticated flavor, quite unlike typical avocado toasts from other places. It reminded me a bit of the savory and rich taste you get from poke. You might think, "What's all the fuss about avocado toast?" but it was genuinely that delicious. The subtle hint of Asian poke flavor made it a truly unique experience. The chicken sandwich also had a very generous amount of chicken, and the accompanying French fries were perfectly crispy and delicious. You could tell they use high-quality beans for their coffee as well. I highly recommend this restaurant; it truly added to my wonderful memories of Aspen. I hope you get to visit and experience it for yourself! The staff were incredibly kind and genuinely moved me with their service. Since the restaurant is located inside a hotel, parking was very convenient, and the restrooms were spotless. I honestly have no negative memories of this excellent establishment. A 20% service charge is automatically added, but it felt completely justified given the outstanding experience. I definitely want to visit again when I'm back in Aspen.

Awaz J — Google review
Lovely restaurant but unfortunately I was really disappointed with both the food and service. I really hoped the 45 minute wait would be worth it, but everything but the fresh squeezed orange juice was a let down. We ordered the chicken and waffles, and the Turkey Royale. The chicken on the waffles was almost too dry to eat, and the waffle was a dry multigrain and spice mess. The focaccia on the sandwich was an insult to bread (picture attached). Completely burned on half the sandwich. Wanting to leave, we see the check already has a 20% auto gratuity (party of two). This would have been fine, I’d almost never tip less, but we only had contact with the waitress about 3 times before the check, and were never asked how our meals were. Our order was messed up which resulted in my chicken and waffles “dying in the window”. For $50 a person (no alcohol) I expect a lot better. Maybe it was an off day, but nothing was done to rectify the situation that any other server would have seen.

You know my review style by now...it's either a 1 or a 5. It's Aspen so the price of a latte was a bit rich but the location is perfect and as a local told me "There is no where to go downtown anymore... (in Aspen) unless you want to buy a $1,000 cowboy hat..." and this place is battling the boutiques that litter the downtown and I like that. Bonus---as I waited for my meeting they had my new favorite band playing on the radio--The Red Clay Strays (check them out) so their taste in coffee shop music is 5 stars as well!

The food could be more tasty have flavour, the hot chocolate was almost dirty hot water with no flavour, and the avocado toast could have something to make special, no salt or whatsoever. A lot of people working and making the space boring, some people could find space because of the people working on the computer were there just typing something in the computer and drinking water, this is very inconvenient.

Cute coffee shop in downtown Aspen. Lots of space in and outside and has wifi. Latte was really decent and about $13. Food menu was pretty limited but what we got ended up being good. Looks like they make their own chips.

Great place, great speicialty drinks, great ambience & chill musics played. All are great here. Pet friendly too.

Cool vibes, great service, and phenomenal drinks! Alphonso and Ryan are the best...I'm told Ryan is the fashionista with the style and the barista with flair! Check out Unravel Coffee and Bar when in Aspen!

Coffee was great but the cashier/order taker was unprofessional. Young dude who thought he was too cool to show me my bill total before asking me to tap your card. I trusted him then I saw a $22 charge for a flat white, a double espresso and a muffin. DOUBLE CHECK your bill before paying.
Catherine C — Google review
Nice local coffee shop with people working talking enjoying a very good double espresso or cappuccino. A lot of locals meeting each other either inside, outside or to go. Relaxed atmosphere and staff.

American restaurant
The Boat Tow, formerly known as Le Bateau, is a new addition to AspenHaus by Gravity Haus. This restaurant pays homage to the 1937 Boat Tow of Aspen Mountain and offers a menu featuring mountain fare with an all-day apres-ski vibe. The space was previously occupied by The Wild Fig and now showcases shareable plates, straightforward entrees like squash enchiladas and lamb Bolognese, as well as soup, salad, beer, wine, and original cocktails.
I thought the food was good and portions reasonable. The menu had plenty of options. Service was friendly but a bit confused... our appetizer showed up after we were basically done eating our mains, we had a staff member bring a drink no one ordered, it took 15 minutes to get a glass of wine. That said, they were gracious and apologetic.

Tried the Boat Tow for first time on recent trip to Aspen. Was pretty good - but place has tons of potential and not quite there yet. Great location, and cozy atmosphere. But lots of details missing to make tables nicer, better music, etc. Was also a bit empty in high season, a bit odd and made for disappointing vibe. Food was good but also below potential. The crispy potatoes appetizer is awesome - highly recommend. The rest of the food, like bolognese was just ok. Curry salmon was tasty. We didn’t like either cocktail we tried - too complicated and too many ingredients that made for odd flavors. Service was really friendly and excellent. Prices were reasonable for Aspen. Good option for more casual dinner and simple atmosphere. But place has ton of potential - with a few tweaks, could be fantastic gem.

Had an outstanding apre experience out on the deck of the Boat Tow today. This is a newer restaurant located in the heart of downtown Aspen. The food was solid, and the service was fantastic. They have great deals on food and drinks between 2 & 5 pm. This establishment is a great addition to the area. Dining out on the deck was nice today!

Great spot! The cocktails were great, and the wine list had some really nice picks. Relaxed vibe and a very friendly knowledgeable staff! Will definitely be back next visit!

Nestled in the heart of Aspen, The Boat Tow exceeded all expectations, leaving me utterly smitten by its exceptional service and inviting ambiance. From the moment we stepped in, the staff's attentiveness made us feel like honored guests. The variety of dishes on the menu is truly impressive. We indulged in their heavenly deviled eggs, tantalizing tacos, and savored every bite of their delectable strawberry dessert. Each dish was a culinary masterpiece, bursting with flavor and creativity. Oh, and their tuna poke? It was a flavor explosion, perfectly balanced and utterly delicious. What truly stood out was the bartender's expert recommendations, which elevated our dining experience. The Boat Tow's atmosphere is both welcoming and chill, creating the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. Without hesitation, I would recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking exceptional food and service in Aspen.

Very long waiting time, and food came cold. Taste was not so good. Service was kind though. I won't be back here for sure.

Just hosted a bridal shower at The Boat Tow, and cannot say enough good things about this space and staff. As an event planner, I could not recommend them more! Incredibly accommodating, wonderful hospitality, and Liz went above and beyond to bring our vision to life! From assembling our party favors, to customizing a dessert recipe for our guests, I wish I could give them more than 5 stars. Not to mention, the food was amazing, and all the guests commented on how great everything tasted. Particularly recommend the Haus Tots - seriously, I will be back for those alone! Excited to see how The Boat Tow takes Aspen by storm!

Nestled in the heart of Aspen, The Garden at Hotel Jerome offers a serene retreat with stunning views of Aspen Mountain. This summer, indulge in a unique dining experience with La Morocha's 'Mountain to Sea' menu, crafted by acclaimed chefs David Castro Hussong and Maribel Aldaco in collaboration with Hotel Jerome's own talented chefs Connor Holdren and Ben Kunert.
Food was fine not great. Service was good and setting was great. Prices were offensive. They charged me for a cocktail almost the same price it costs to buy the bottle in a store. Autograt of 22%. So after a mediocre (although meaty) burger, a local beer, cocktail and side salad for lunch, they hit me for over $120 for just me. #wrong
