I came to this place for help, as I’ve done before, but was met with disrespect. A staff member told me I should go elsewhere because of the suburb I live in, saying “you people are always coming here to fill up this place.” This kind of treatment is unacceptable and deeply hurtful.

We all spent two exceptional days at this Boutique/ Hotel and was not disappointed in any way what's so ever. They provided us with a fantastic service and were at our Beck and Call and even went out of their way to provide us with extra out of the ordinary services like arranging items to be bought at a nearby Gas Service Station after hours for some of the guests who requested they needed something urgently. We were all taken a back by how they bent over backwards to see that all of our needs were met.

AtholPlace is absolutely the best in service, rooms, ambience, and food. We absolutely loved our stay here and only wish we stayed longer. The rooms are so luxurious and comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing! We can’t stop raving about it. We had dinner and breakfast there and loved everything they prepared. They go above and beyond. We traveled with our family and extended family (6 adults, 3 kids). The service is phenomenal-they think of everything and are so kind and helpful. This is definitely worth the experience!!

Just stayed here for one night after arriving from Australia and continuing on to Zambia. As a solo traveller, I found this property had so much to offer me and ticked all of my boxes. The rooms and beds are divine, such a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere, with natural beauty all around the property and lovely birds in the morning. Very attentive and friendly staff. The food was to die for! Very high standard for a hotel, fresh and healthy. I will be recommending to all of my friends and family and clients. Perfect for couples, families (they offer interconnecting rooms) and business travellers. Only 30 minutes from the airport.

We stayed here 1 night but it was amazing. For the welcome.. gym and breakfast. Unfortunately we didn't have time for the pool (and it as too cold). We loved every bit. Definitely come back. Service fantastic. Rooms very big and spacious. Important for coffee lovers. Nespresso machine in the room, close to your bed :-). Also good selection of tea. Breakfast waa amazing with the freah squeezed orange juice. Definitely come back.
Sarah A — Google review
We were taken to the restaurant for lunch. The Hotel is beautifully decorated and refurbished and boasts 5* rating. The food was excellent and deserves its rating as well. The Haloumi salad was delightful and the vegetarian curry was tasty and beautifully presented. The fried fish was not as good as I would have expected. The disappointment however was in the lack of skill and knowledge of the waitress, who was probably one of the housekeeping staff. She did not know which Rose wine was dry and I had to read the labels myself. She also had to return to the table to check our order and the table settings were not 5*. Parking can be a problem due to a lack of space and training of staff is needed. All four of us were disappointed considering the price and rating.
Brian L — Google review
Having stayed for an overnight experience with my wife and 12 month old son, i can only say that they made each of us feel welcome and part of the family. My son even got his own bath toys and gown as part of the turn down. Rooms had everything we need and the staff were gentle and attentive to our needs with a baby. Dinner was outstanding and breakfast was superb. (have to try the scrambled eggs with truffle oil). I will definitely be back.
