Dim sum restaurant
Tropical Chinese Restaurant has been a beloved fixture in Miami since 1984, offering a wide array of classic and innovative Chinese dishes. The restaurant is renowned for its delectable dim sum, featuring over 50 dishes served from large carts. In addition to traditional favorites like Peking duck and Hong Kong-style roast pork, the menu also boasts inventive creations such as flounder pan-fried with peppercorns and jalapenos.
Absolutely love this place! I’m honestly surprised this restaurant only has 4.3 stars this was my second time here and I’m even more impressed than the first. Every single dish is packed with flavor and tastes so fresh and delicious. You can really tell they put effort into every detail. The variety of flavors in each dish is just amazing. I’m officially in love with this Chinese restaurant definitely the best one I’ve been to so far! Highly recommend!

Kind of expensive compared to other places, but coming from a country that has only one option for dim sum this is THE place. I love how fast the service was, since you don't need to order. They will pass with a cart to every table and you can choose what you'll like. Of course you have a menu to order more complex meals. They give you free water but you can order other drinks if you'll like.
Karina H — Google review
Good chinese restaurant for dim sum and more. It offers many varieties. Food is delicious, less greasy and the place is big and clean. We came here a couple of times and always ordered plenty of food without breaking the bank. It's a very popular place so be ready to wait a little bit to be seated. Must try!!!
Weni W — Google review
Finally took the time to go after so many people recommending it. It’s the best Chinese restaurant we’ve tried ! Reasonable price, great service, not too loud and can accommodate groups. The food was perfect, tasteful, warm and comforting, well definitely go back 🙂

Tropical Chinese in South Miami is a fantastic choice for authentic Chinese cuisine. Their amazing Dim Sum carts, especially during a rushed lunch, are a must-try, offering a wide variety of delicious and high-quality dumplings. The service is impressively fast and attentive, making for a smooth dining experience. They come by your table almost instantly after sitting don with multiple carts carrying various Dim Sum baskets, staple Chinese appetizer dishes, and more. They also keep on coming, so its very easy to order extras. There is of course also a menu to order off, featuring the cart goodies, as well as more staple dishes like Peking Duck, and rice and noodle dishes. The restaurant boasts a nice atmosphere, and the large window providing a view into the bustling kitchen adds a unique and interesting touch. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Tropical Chinese for a truly enjoyable meal.

Delicious dim sum at Tropical Chinese! We loved the juicy pork buns and soup dumplings—so flavorful. Wine and sake were a great touch. Our waiter Peter was super kind and helpful with the menu. Highly recommend!

Really excellent old school dim sum restaurant. We went on a Sunday for lunch. They bring around the dim sum on carts. So many different choices! The dumplings are great. Unfussy, but delicious. Everything is fresh & the experience is first rate. Highly recommended! It’s like walking back in time to the 80s.

This place truly is a not so hidden gem in a random strip mall, because if you grew up in Miami like I did, Tropical Chinese, is very well-known for Chinese food that sparkles. From the moment you walk in the decor makes you forget that you’re in Westchester. It’s cute and modern with the colorful blossom lanterns, and the fun modern wallpaper. This could easily be a fun casual date spot or a great place to have a meal with the whole family. And being a Monday night the restaurant was pretty busy. We ordered the shrimp wonton soup to start and share. It was perfectly delicious in its simplicity. Next we had the special fried rice and the beef lo-mein. Both delivered.

Nestled in a bustling shopping plaza alongside the beloved Lucky Oriental Mart, Kon Chau Chinese Restaurant has been a staple of West Miami-Dade since 2011. This charming eatery is renowned for its authentic Chinese and Cantonese dishes, particularly its impressive array of dim sum served all day long. Diners can expect to find classic favorites like lotus leaf-wrapped sticky rice, succulent pork siu mai, and delightful Shanghai-style soup dumplings rolling out from steaming carts.
Kon Chau was absolutely delicious! I visited to celebrate the Chinese New Year, and while it was busy, it didn't feel overcrowded. This is some of the best dim sum I’ve had in South Florida, which says a lot coming from someone who has enjoyed dim sum in the Chinatowns of New York, San Francisco, Boston, Los Angeles, and even Hong Kong. Every bite was authentic and flavorful. My favorites included the dumplings, fried shrimp balls, fried shrimp with taro, stuffed eggplant with shrimp, pan-fried noodles, and the roasted duck. I’m already craving more! I can’t wait to return for another dim sum feast and to explore their other Chinese entrees.
Lasana S — Google review
Very good and reasonably priced dim sum with large selections. You get a sheet with numbered items and the menu shows photos of the dish so it’s easy! I met the chef/owner’s son, Stanley and I reminisced about the superb Phillip’s in Sunny Isles. Such good food, more upscale & banquet style dishes. You can order Dim Sum all day. Their (54) Singapore Noodles was great with quite a bit of shrimp, eggs & ham, could do with a tad more curry powder. (46)Roast duck noodles looked like a small bowl but quite deep and tasty! I ordered some Dim Sum to take home and even after reheating, turned out good especially the (58) lotus wrapped sticky rice, however not much protein in there. My favorite there is (63) Shrimp & leek/chive dumpling. If you go in the weekend, there’s (36) Deep fried taro dumpling with pork & shrimp and (29) Egg custard tart, more favorites! There is zero decorations, but at least better carpet than before! Give it a try and tell Stanley Wok Star sent you!

We came here a few years ago, I didn’t leave a review … sorry I didn’t and drove over an hour to come back again in a desperate search of good dim sum. It’s only a 3 star imo…half of the dishes were served warm at best. Sticky Rice lotus leaf: one huge one as opposed to the usual 2 smaller ones you get. The rice was hard and tasted like regular rice but it did look like sushi rice but pretty dry. Flavors and filling were good. Shu Mai: very small basic standard flavor Fried turnip cake: very nice flavor good texture not overly doughy like other places that chintz on daikon Fried taro: great flavor but almost cold Egg tart: large ones which are so much better than those little ones that are all crust! The crust appears pale and undercooked but the custard looks perfect, not too sweet either. This was by far the best item here. Fried sesame balls: not bad Stuffed green pepper: good but sauce is supposed to be garlic black bean, this one lacked flavor Stuffed bean curd: same as above, I would not order again Baked roast pork and custard buns: good filling but dough is too heavy, milk bread is much lighter and more delicate Too far for just ok, I’ll stick w ones closer.

If you’re looking for authentic Chinese food in the Miami area this is the spot to go to! They have a very nice dim sum selection that’s very authentic as well as other dishes. We got the shrimp dumplings (10/5 tasted homemade), eggplant (4/5), Shanghai soup dumplings (4/5), shrimp rice roll (10/5 so chewy and fresh), and chicken feet (5/5) Dimsum is the authentic I’ve had in the Miami area and the roast duck was pretty good as well (a bit on the saltier side for me personally but I have low salt tolerance). I went on a Sunday afternoon and the place was filled with people! The owner is very nice and tea is good as well!

Best dim sum in Miami. Authentic Chinese. No frills. No murals or Instagrammable moments. Just the best food you've ever had.
David D — Google review
I absolutely love Kon Chau!! It is a dim sum menu and full of delicious food and a lot of different options to choose from. We love all the dumplings but particularly the green tea duck dumplings and soup dumplings. Those are a must try! We also love the salt and pepper shrimp and the bao buns. My only recommendation is to come on an empty stomach!!
Kevin R — Google review
I recently visited this restaurant from out of town based on the positive reviews I'd read, but unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to expectations. While the service was prompt initially, my server did not check on me throughout my meal, despite attending to other regular customers. This lack of attention made me feel overlooked. In addition, select dim sum items were only available until 3:00 p.m. and my wonton soup was subpar. I even had to signal the female manager/owner with eye contact to request the check, which was inconvenient. In addition, an 18% service charge was automatically added to the bill. Given this experience, I won't be returning.
Michelle C — Google review
We went for the first time to this Chinese Restaurant and we were quite impressed, the location is not exactly a quaint place, but the parking is convenient, the restaurant is a little bit outdated but smells clean, and the best part is that indeed everything is impeccable including the service and the food ( definitely delicious ). Pros: Affordable Prices and the service is just so great!! We ordered Shrimp Fried Rice, BQ Ribs, egg rolls, Salt and Pepper Shrimp and Dumplings, they have the most variety and yummy dumplings we ever had! The shrimp with scallions and the scallop ones are a must-have! We are coming back for sure!!

Hakkasan Miami, a beautiful and extravagant restaurant located inside the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, is known for its delicious and authentic Cantonese cuisine. The restaurant has been awarded four diamonds by Zagat, and is highly praised by locals and visitors alike. The Dim Sum Lunch menu is especially popular with people looking to enjoy excellent Chinese food while in the mood for some fun.
A true pleasure what an ambience what a food and the best hospitality, the ambience is just mind-boggling. It takes you to a whole new world. This is in the first time I am visiting Haasan, but this is the first time I’m reviewing this restaurant, I visited last time in India, Mumbai and the food was just the same after 11 years. We ordered bunch of appetizers and main course and everything turned out to be just fantastic. I would recommend you to definitely try the desert unfortunately I could not take the photograph of the desert because it was already consumed before. I could even click some pics for you all, but please try the organic ice cream . It is just amazing.

This place was so amazing that I came back a second night during my vacation for another dinner. Literally everything was perfect and a culinary experience I want to enjoy again. The drinks (Chinese mule), the dim sum, the tofu dish, orange chicken, and Sichuan chicken were incredible. Even the restaurants decor and ambiance was stunning.

Always love coming here for cantonese dishes and sexy atmosphere with my husband. We always get the dim sum and the hot and sour soup is the only best. We enjoy that fact that you can have Lobster with garlic and ginger prepared how you want it, we enjoy it steamed. I highly recommend it! Thank you Bruno for the great service and the enthusiasm.
Melissa G — Google review
So far Hakkasan has been the best restaurant we’ve visited on our trip. Everything we ordered was a blast of flavor, fresh, and let out an audible WOW. Our server Bruno made our dining experience 100/10, very attentive and gave us the best recommendations. I wish every restaurant had a Bruno to serve us!
Rami S — Google review
This is a great Chinese restaurant. The food is very tasty; the duck and dim sum are my favorites. The atmosphere is upscale and the service is attentive. It's a little overpriced, but that's to be expected in Miami.
Rich R — Google review
From the moment you walk in until you’re seated, Hakkasan Miami feels first-class. The interior is stunning and gives off the vibe of a private, exclusive dining room. Our server was very professional and explained the option of choosing the tasting menu or ordering à la carte. We went with à la carte, and it was the right call. • Green Salad – Fresh and vibrant, with the tropical sweetness of mango. Absolute fire. • Lobster Dumpling – Light, delicate, and packed with flavor. A real standout. • Beef Ribs – Probably our least favorite at the table, but still tasty. • French Beans – Perfectly seasoned and bursting with flavor. Definitely a must-order if you visit. • Foie Gras Dumpling – Rich, decadent, and simply amazing. My take: This is a must-visit when in South Beach. The food and the ambiance were both outstanding. After a disappointing dinner on our first night in Miami, Hakkasan completely turned things around. I’d absolutely come back again. Cheers, BN

Dinner Review for Daniella at Hakkasan, Fontainebleau Miami 🌟 From the moment we were seated, Daniella made the entire dining experience unforgettable. Her professionalism, warm energy, and deep knowledge of the menu elevated our night beyond just a meal — it felt like a curated experience. She wasn’t just attentive — she was intuitive, anticipating what we needed before we even asked. Every recommendation she gave (especially the [insert dish if you’d like]) hit perfectly, and her timing, grace, and hospitality were 5-star. Hakkasan’s ambiance is already incredible, but Daniella’s service is what truly set the evening apart. She’s a gem and a true example of what luxury dining service should feel like. Thank you, Daniella — I’ll be asking for you every time I return. 🙌

Restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Design District of Miami, Blackbrick Chinese & Dim Sum is a culinary gem that showcases the artistry of Chef Richard Hales. This contemporary eatery offers an exciting array of dishes, from traditional dim sum to bold Sichuan flavors like ma po tofu and spicy ma la chicken. The menu also features unique creations such as General Tso's alligator and delectable char siu pork served with fluffy Parker House rolls.
Really enjoyed this place. They were the first restaurant I enjoyed a dining experience at during the 50% capacity restrictions. The dining room was really cool being able to see into the kitchen area and it felt like an upscale but relaxed place. I don't know of that makes much sense, but you could tell the food was going to be good. The serving sizes are very generous and you could even share a dish between two people if you can express that amount of will power after first tastes. If you like spicy I highly recommend the Mala Chicken.
George P — Google review
We were served by Valentine, who truly dedicated his time to offer a great service and honest recommendationS. The restaurant decor is cool. Seating is a bit uncomfortable and cramped but the quality of the food put that thought behind. We had dumplings which were as close as your can get to The original quality. The hand roll were great in flavor but the dough was too thick and filling. Some side sauces were great in flavor and well chosen. Kale side vegetables had a defined flavor as well. The shrimp and peppers tested excellent, again i would reduce the battering a bit to make it lighter but the flavor was there. I couldn't pair a wine but Valentine assured the selection was good. Beers were varied. We tried a special tequila which We enjoyed. Was a great dinner.
Esteban M — Google review
Overall good meal. It is located in the heart of midtown, and has outdoor seating available. They have great cocktails with a daily rotating menu and a narrowed menu that specialized on a true Chinese experience. My favorite dishes were the general tso chicken, the chicken wings and bok choy.
David Z — Google review
This is fusion Asian food. Not very true to Asian flavours and the hand made noodles, the main reason I have it a shot to begin with, were served dry (no broth). My dish was spicier than other dishes that were marked as "spicy". Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall service was slow.
Hugo P — Google review
Go to Tap 42 instead!!!! My food was bad the service was bad. We order our dinner and we're encouraged by the waiter Juan L. to order an appetizer since it would be about "25 minutes" before our order would come out. So we ordered some eggrolls, before we could start the eggrolls my dinner was brought to the table. My friends food was not, I asked what happened to "25 minutes", he replied the cook is faster than the others. 10-12 minutes later, my friends food was still not brought out. At one point the waiter asked "Are you done yet?" Please do not go here.

We find this restaurant after I have search foursquare app on the phone to find out where we can eat a good Chinese food after the visiting of Miami Children's Museum. Interior is kind of interesting, the prices a big high I thinks but the food is tasty. We have tried: steamed shrimp & scallop dim sum (portion has 3 pieces) - really tasty dish; steamed chicken sui mei - kind of weird dish don't really like it; pork cheek pan fried dumplings - ok dish kinda like it; pan fried pork bao bun - mouthwatering dish; halapenjo beef - one of the best I have ever tried, really recommend it. Definitely will be back here again.
Yaroslav K — Google review
Black Brick Midtown Chinese Restaurant, Miami, is not only ridiculously EXPENSIVE, especially for what they give you, but, the food is AWFUL!!! It is an ABSOLUTE waste of time if you want good Chinese food; I DO NOT recommend it (save your money and time). Besides, the chef (or cook on duty) is arrogant and ill-tempered. On a positive note: the waitress was friendly and polite; it is only because of her cordiality that I even rate this restaurant because it, otherwise, wouldn't even get ONE STAR. My hat's off to the waitress who made the night at least salvageable.

Canton Palace Chinese Restaurant is a hidden gem in Miami that offers an impressive selection of authentic Cantonese dishes, particularly renowned for its delectable dim sum. This cozy eatery may not boast extravagant decor, but it compensates with affordable prices and attentive service. The dim sum platter is a must-try, featuring an array of delights such as shrimp shumai, crispy fried shrimp balls, and pan-fried pork dumplings—perfect for sharing or indulging solo.
Mom and pop type of place, great prices and outstanding food. Been looking for a solid dim sum spot in west miami and after a lot of looking, definitely found my go to spot from now on. Everything was fresh, clean and delicious! Service was spot on too! If you are looking for solid, authentic dim sum and are not looking to break the bank, this is it!
Goku — Google review
With "Canton" in their name, I was expecting authentic Hong Kong style cooking, but my experience was very disappointing. Both the Sauteed Scallops and the Shrimp Ball with Bean Curd tasted the same--really bland. In fact, the bean curd was overcooked and broken, while shrimp balls were sour (old, expired). Salt and Pepper Squid had very little seasoning, leathery tough, and mostly batter. They also don't itemize receipts, which makes it hard for business expenses. Not returning here again.
Tom L — Google review
The traditional dish review on 明火烧鸭: The duck is cooked just right although the meat is a slightly tougher than expected, the sauce isn't HK style and is salt based rather than sour based. The traditional dish review on Dim Sum platter: no choice of dim sum selection, but provided set is comfortable to eat with hot tea. The traditional dish review on 干炒牛和: no further comments. All is as expected.
Yechen Q — Google review
The first time I came to this restaurant was years ago and I absolutely loved it. I forgot the dishes I tried but I remember everything was good. So when I was craving Chinese food today, I decided to come here and the food was just as delicious as I remembered it. To eat, we ordered the krab rangoon, spring rolls, pan fried dumplings and chicken lo mein with white rice. And everything was delicious. The krab rangoon was crunchy and you could definitely taste the crab meat in it. The shrimp in the spring rolls was a nice surprise. The pan fried dumplings were tasty as well. As to the lo mein, it was cooked to perfection. The service was okay. We did have to ask for water refills and to go containers but they packed our leftovers, which was nice of them to do. The server also gave us suggestions as to the portion size of the entree when we were ordering, which we appreciated. As to the ambiance, it could be better. The table next to us was dirty and it took them a while to clean it and the chairs may need updating. Overall, the place is clean. I would definitely return to this restaurant again whenever I’m craving Chinese food again.

I have been going to this restaurant for the past 17 years. The food, quality and consistency has never changed and it’s for the best. In my opinion they have some of the best home food. From the wonton soup, egg rolls, fried shrimp balls, pan fried dumplings my absolute favorite. Best special friend rice, beef broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, the list goes on but just some of my favorites to name a few. The prices are reasonable especially for the portion sizes. I am glad this restaurant is still around because it brings me back nostalgic childhood memories.

A True Dim Sum Gem in Miami Canton Palace is, without a doubt, one of Miami's best-kept secrets for authentic and delicious dim sum. I always take visiting guests here, and it never disappoints. My mother recently flew in from Arizona, and her approval sealed the deal—this place is truly special. We had an incredible meal, and she absolutely loved every dish we tried. The bell peppers stuffed with pork and shrimp were a standout, a perfect blend of fresh vegetables and savory filling. We also enjoyed the Fried Shrimp Taro, which was incredibly tasty and had a wonderful texture. The classic Pork and Shrimp Dumplings were also very good, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The meal continued with the delightful Bean Curd Rolls, and we finished on a sweet note with the Red Bean Sesame Balls. It was the perfect dessert to end a perfect meal. I'm so glad my mom enjoyed every single dish. If you're looking for an authentic and memorable dim sum experience in Miami, Canton Palace is the place to go. You won't be disappointed!

Good honest cantonese cuisine. Nothing fancy but good home cooked style food. They have dim sum and specials on the lighted board. Been going there for many years. Fried tofu, steamed pork spear ribs with taro, Chinese broccoli and beef, eggplant filled with fish paste (sounds not so yummy but is good) are a few dishes. Also pre order special chicken which always sells out ( farm organic taste different from your standard chicken) not on the regular menu..!!!

Zitz Sum, located in Coral Gables, offers a unique culinary experience with a fusion of Asian, Mexican, Latin American, and Italian influences. The menu features innovative dishes such as the pork in 'phrodo,' a creative blend of dumpling-tortellini served in Japanese dashi broth infused with Parmesan rinds and soy. Another must-try dish is the shrimp har gow served in a stew-like ragout with minced pork and fresh cilantro.
From the moment I stepped into this restaurant, I was transported to a serene, beautifully designed space. The atmosphere was incredibly warm and inviting, with elegant decor that blends traditional elements with a modern twist, almost zen-like environment. The food was absolutely incredible—seasonal, fresh, and full of flavor, the drinks were outstanding as well. This is the kind of place that gets everything right: ambiance, flavor, and experience. Highly recommended.

It’s without a doubt a super creative and delicious restaurant. Both the service and the food are spectacular, with a balanced and delicate fusion of ingredients. The place itself is calm and beautiful—truly a hidden gem in Miami with class and great taste. You definitely need a reservation since it’s a small and popular spot.

If you dine in Miami, you know the difficulties there are when deciding on a place to eat. The many (many) options to choose from. Is it actually good, or is it just overhyped? Are the plates Instagram worthy, but not tastebud worthy? However, once you sift through these questions and the array of restaurants you can reserve a table at, you’ll start to find the gems. The places that do good food, good service, and good vibes. Zitz Sum is one of those places. Not surprising of course, given their bib gourmand status. But it’s another thing to actually try the plates that earned this recognition, which you totally should. To start things off, the ambience in the place was great and our waiter was fantastic. He was super knowledgeable about the menu, filled us in on what dishes are new/seasonal (check out my pic of the menu) and which are mainstays, and gave us his recommendations. Lucky for us, nearly everything we were thinking about ordering was similar to the plates he was ready to suggest. We got the bing bread, steak tartar, wahoo crudo, wonton in brodo, and charred cabbage. The bing bread was served hot and soft and the sweet Florida honey butter it came with was divine. The steak tartar was my favorite dish of the night and I haven’t stopped thinking about it since. The beef was tender and seasoned well, and the ramen egg it sat in was perfectly chewy and salty. This is a steak tartar like you’ve never had before. The wahoo crudo was unique and I was hesitant at first about the thin banana slice its topped with (I’m not a fan of bananas), but I trusted the process and chef and all the flavors really came together and paired well with each other. The wonton in brodo was my second favorite dish of the night. The broth was flavorful and cozy, I was literally sipping it after all the wontons were eaten. And the wontons itself? Soft and packed with tasty chicken. Finally, the charred cabbage. Don’t sleep on this dish! It was more fulfilling and flavorful than you ever thought a cabbage could be, and the char on it gave it a nice punch of heat. At the end of our meal, we talked other Miami spots with our waiter, exchanged restaurant recommendations, and learned about Zitz Sums’ sister izakaya restaurant (called Dojo, which we will definitely be trying). Zitz Sum is subtle, yet glamorous. It makes you remember how special dining in Miami can (and should) be.

Truly surprising flavor combinations. A culinary delight. Confusing to find (in the FIFA office building), but otherwise a sanctuary of sumptuous food and courteous service. Thank you, Maynor, for your kindness! Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but do check out the flatbread, which was unexpected and unforgettable.
Shirin R — Google review
While each dish was ambitious, none of them came together. The Scallops were taken away from by the other ingredients, the cabbage was hard, one of the chickens was ok, the other way over salted. The dumplings were below average while the sauce was decent, the truffle dumplings were good though way overpriced as was everything, like the $16 breads. The rock shrimp curry rice was not good. The steak tartar was ok. The cucumber dish was ok though tiny. Was excited coming in, left feeling we hit an off night. Every dish needed a serving utensil, had to ask for one to be brought almost every time a dish was dropped off. The restaurant was hard to find. Just under $100 pp. Probably won’t ever come back

Dinner here was an absolute delight! The restaurant is moody and elegant, and the ambiance is casual not overly loud. The server we got was really attentive, very good service. And the food was just delightful! The koshihikari rice was one of my favorite dishes, it was everything I’ve never expected but always wanted in rice! The bing bread was so good too! The scallops were delicate and delicious, the fish was exquisite and the wontons in brodo super flavorful yet delicate. Loved the crunch of the Japanese French toast too. The cocktails were amazing! I don’t remember what mine was called but I had like 4! So good! Def give this place a try

I went to Zitz Sum on a date with my girlfriend last night. I believe our waitress’s name was Michelle, and she was so wonderful. Special shout out to all the staff at this restaurant for being really amazing. We had the tasting menu and a lot of the courses were very good. The wontons in particular were amazing. I wish the portions were a bit bigger since the food is so good, but I understand a lot of it is for presentation which is really amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a really quiet and unique dinning experience in Coral Gables. Very good restaurant which is propelled by the excellent staff. Oh and the French Toast was a pretty excellent dessert.

Nestled within the luxurious W Hotel in South Beach, MR CHOW stands out as a premier dining destination that beautifully marries opulence with authentic Chinese cuisine. This renowned restaurant has been captivating guests for over a decade, offering an exquisite atmosphere adorned with a breathtaking 123-foot chandelier crafted by Michael Chow himself.
We had a great anniversary dinner at Mr. Chow. The service is incredibly quick and attentive, especially Maya was very nice. The maple glazed shrimps with walnuts are extraordinarily delicious and the gamblers duck was great as well. The two course menu is $112 per person and includes an appetizer, a main course and a side, the mocktails ($16) were nice as well. For our anniversary, they gave us a free cheesecake to share. Thank you for this nice evening to the whole team at Mr Chow!

Mr Chow – Overpriced, Underwhelming, and Repeatedly Disappointing I rarely leave negative reviews, but after two consistently poor experiences with Mr Chow, I feel compelled to share. Most recently, I ordered takeaway through Uber Eats, and the food was shockingly bad. The duck was fatty, dry, and overcooked. The shredded beef had no beef at all — just deep-fried batter. The noodles came with no sauce, no vegetables, nothing — just plain, dry, boring noodles dumped in a box. For $180, it was closer to overpriced fast food than anything resembling high-end Chinese cuisine. To make matters worse, Uber Eats offered no refund — so that’s $180 straight in the bin, and I ended up eating toast for dinner. Unfortunately, this wasn’t a one-off. I’ve dined in at Mr Chow before, and it was just as disappointing. The food was mediocre, the atmosphere was stale, and the waiter was clearly stressed and under pressure — the whole place felt tense and joyless. Two chances, two disasters. Save your money and your appetite — I won’t be back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Mr. Chow is beautiful inside and the customer service is amazing however the food wasn't good at all. No flavor. The white shrimp fried rice was a joke. Some dishes had some potential but needed way more seasoning. Very disappointing.

My husband and I just ate at Mr. Chow and were extremely impressed by the ambiance, the service, and the food! Maya was our server, along with all the staff, and they were all very attentive, formal, and really made our experience so exceptional! We ordered the chicken satay (A MUST), an off menu stir-fry (highly recommend, has a little spice kick to it), Beijing chicken (which has a sauce that I couldn’t get enough of, literally) the green prawns (perfectly cooked), and the shrimp fried rice (not pictured). Everything was delicious. We also got to see the chef give us a show on how he makes the noodles, very fun experience for adults and kids. Highly recommend eating here! We loved it and will be coming back again.

The food at Mr. Chow is consistently phenomenal, with each dish full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The service is attentive and polished, making every visit feel special. While staying at the W Hotel in South Beach, I decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Unfortunately, it didn’t meet expectations. The food was average at best and definitely overpriced for what was served. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps, shrimp with walnuts, and Beijing chicken with fried rice—none of which stood out. For the price point, I expected better quality and flavor. Unless there are changes in either pricing or food quality, I wouldn’t recommend dining here.

The menus offer a variety of delicious items, including Peking duck and fried fish with a special sweet-and-sour sauce.

The restaurant is located inside the Doubletree Hotel. As soon as your walk in make a right, then a quick left and then all the way down. This is def a solid 3. Service was fair. We ordered wonton soup, it was good. The lo mean was interesting good, the duck lousy, the orange beef was tasty, the veggies were really delicious. 18% tip included. We could see ourselves ordering to go again. The place/ambiance is really boring and there was not view of the bay.

Surprisingly tasty and we'll presented Chinese food. Staff efficient and if you wish, you may watch your order being prepared through a massive glass wall. We love going to Tony Chan's Water Club inside the Doubletree Hotel with my husband and all the family. They have a clean and open kitchen which its amazing!! As a good chef, I love knowing that the food I eat in a restaurant is fresh and I can certify that in Tony Chan's Water Club. We are frequent clients because we enjoy the ambience, its perfect for a family reunion and we can actually have beautiful conversations in their big and comfortable round tables. Speaking about the food, they have a fresh sushi bar at the front where we always have the veggie and salmon roll. As main we enjoy their peking duck, haven't tried something so delicious anywhere else. During the week, we went a couple times with my husband to try their lunch special which was perfect for a break from our work routine. They deserve 5 stars!! Excellent service and extraordinary food quality, thank you!! Lila and Alex

First off, never again. I wouldn’t feed this to a stray dog in the streets of Baghdad. Secondly, the food had no flavor and was way to overpriced. For a place with a top 100 review, these cooks got no taste. Just an overall terrible experience and if you see this, don’t waste your time.

Omg! The food was delicious as always when I visit Tony Chan's Water Club in downtown miami. I can't get tired of their fresh and tasty options. I often visit Tony for lunch and order either eggplant and rice with vegetables. This time I went there with my husband and he ordered beef, he loved it. Also, I ordered sushi to go and sesame chicken. I really recommend to anyone that will like to experience Hong Kong style cuisine from New York city here in miami. They are located inside the doubletree grand hotel by the water. Fantastic staff and the owners are very friendly.

Hutong Miami is an upscale restaurant that offers sophisticated Northern Chinese cuisine and Asian cocktails in a trendy setting. Originating from Hong Kong with influences from London and New York, this high-end establishment serves fiery northern dishes and boozy cocktails in a warm, elegant atmosphere. The menu features shareable dishes with a focus on vegetarian and pescatarian options, including an impressive ginger lobster bao in the dim sum category.
The food was so delicious but the whole experience was amazing. Every dish is so well thought out. I loved the cocktails. The fish was perfectly cooked and so yummy. Definitely going back. Also have to mention Adriano helped us picking the right choices and took care of all our needs. A great place to visit if you’re in Miami.

Hutong in Miami was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and the brunch was one of the best we’ve had in the city. The coffee was absolutely perfect—rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented. What truly made our visit unforgettable was the service. Our waiter Adriano and Yaren along with Colino made us feel welcomed and taken care of every moment. Their professionalism, friendliness, and attention to detail were nothing short of the best. They worked seamlessly as a team to ensure everything was perfect. We will definitely be coming back and recommending Hutong to everyone we know.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Hutong Miami! From the moment you walk in, you’re transported into an atmosphere that’s both elegant and vibrant. The décor is stunning, modern yet infused with rich Chinese influences that create the perfect backdrop for a special night out. Now the food… next level. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. The Peking Duck and signature chili prawns are must-haves, absolute flavor bombs. And don’t skip the spicy margarita or any of their handcrafted cocktails, they were just as memorable as the food. Service was top-tier, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely warm. Our server Alora made thoughtful recommendations and made the whole night feel effortless. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a chic girls’ night, or just a place to impress someone, Hutong Miami delivers.

I recently dined at Hutong Miami and had an incredible experience! The seabass was absolutely delicious, and the presentation was stunning. My family and I tried different dishes, I highly recommend the seabass (if you don’t like it to rich you can put the sauce on the side). The dumplings and the shrimps. And the mix rice. What truly impressed me, however, was the restaurant's amazing design - the high ceilings added to the overall ambiance, making it a perfect spot for a special night out. The service was top-notch, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend Hutong Miami for anyone looking for exceptional Chinese cuisine and a unique dining experience!

This restaurant is in the heart of Brickell. Definitely a place to go and have a great time, a good dine and good food. It has a lot of options in the menu with different fusions. The wine menu has a vast amout of options, separated into countries and specifying the type of grape. The service was great; the server had a lost of knowledge of the menu and great recomendations. The atmosphere is nice; dimmed lights and nice decor. Outside dining is an option since it looks nice and spacious; maybe not in summer time. The music was a little loud for my taste if you want to have a conversation, but not a deal braker. Street paid parking available; walking to the restaurant is advised.

Had a wonderful experience at Hutong with their Miami Spice menu! The dim sum, duck, prawns, and crispy green beans were all delicious, and the flavors were beautifully balanced. The watermelon mocktail with pink peppercorns was unique and refreshing, and the ice cream ganache with roasted sesame seeds made for a wonderful finish. A truly elevated fusion dining experience!

This place has been on my radar for years and I was skeptical if it lives up to the price. I finally decided to book a rsvp since I notice there's Peking duck on their Miami spice menu. Upon arrival there's no hostess in the front and the ac was off, I had to ask the waiter twice to see if it's working and it finally got cool in the middle of lunch. Everything we had was just average at best, the fried rice was stale. I wouldn't not recommend especially paying full price. The wait staff was not professional and definitely needs more training.

Jaya was truly a next-level experience. The ambiance was beautiful, and the entire restaurant felt impeccable and exciting to take in. I enjoyed multiple shows during my dinner, which made the evening feel even more special. While the service was a bit slow, the entertainment helped balance it out, and our server was kind despite the packed house—so the wait was understandable. I went for the Miami Spice menu, and the selection of options was impressive. Overall, I absolutely loved it and would definitely go back.

We celebrated a birthday at Jaya. The atmosphere and the show are impressive – the fire performance and the water in the center of the room look stunning. Big plus for that. Unfortunately, the service was a huge disappointment. From the very start, there were no vases for flowers (in a restaurant where people usually celebrate special occasions!). Our bouquet ended up just leaning against a chair. For bringing our own cake, they charged $14 per person, but never stored it in the fridge – it was warm and the ganache melted. On top of that, they charge extra to cut the cake. Since we refused, they first gave us a flimsy plastic knife, then a butter knife, and finally a steak knife, which was at least usable. They mixed up one of our cocktails, and with tea the situation was just ridiculous. We ordered it before the cake, but it only arrived after we had already sung happy birthday, made a wish, cut the cake, and almost finished eating it. One tea was even replaced randomly with chamomile instead of mint. The food itself – just fine. Not bad, not amazing. Don’t expect anything special. The atmosphere and show are the strongest part. The DJ played some decent tracks, but the transitions were really strange – cutting off songs at their best moment. Maybe some people like that style, but for us it was just odd. The worst part: the bathroom. For a “premium” restaurant it was simply dirty, which is unacceptable. 📊 Overall: • Service – 2/10 • Food – 7/10 • Atmosphere – 8/10 • Bathroom cleanliness – 0/10 So overall, it’s a place you can go to if you want a flashy celebration with a show, but don’t expect great service or spotless facilities. Jaya really needs to fix the basics: service, cleanliness, and a bit more care for their guests. Until then, it’s more of a 2-star experience than a luxury one. My final rating: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ (2 out of 5).

Dinner at Jaya is not just a meal — it’s a show. A sensory performance blending fine dining, artistry, and Miami glamour. I visited for dinner and was completely captivated. The live entertainment — from the fire dancers to the musicians — creates a cinematic backdrop that makes every bite feel part of the experience. The ambiance is luxurious but approachable, the kind of setting that invites celebration without pretense. The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every course was thoughtfully composed — bold yet balanced flavors, beautifully presented, and clearly crafted with passion. The service team was exceptional, managing a busy evening crowd with grace and warmth. If you’re in Miami Beach, make this one of your must-visit dinner reservations. It’s where culinary excellence meets art — and where you’ll understand why Jaya has become one of the city’s most iconic dining experiences.

SoulEdge: Break The Silence... Arrived for Miami Spice 2025 Dinner. Hostees team helped me with seating. Yelena & Ari ( apologies if I got their names wrong ) gave me excellent service. Yelena asked how was the food. I ordered Chicken Wings with Sweet & Sour Sauce, Asian Slaw, Fresh Herbs. Chucken Tikka it is a dish of Chicken Thigh, Garam Masala, Mustard Oil, Mint Sauce. Salted Caramel Opera a dessert dish that comes with Jivara & Mocha Mousse, Caramel Biscuit, Salted Caramel Gelato. Test a chicken thigh alone with the sauce & lime. Chicken Wings were crisp & delicious. Don't fret about the Opera dessert, it is not sugary, trust me its good. I included a pic of Japón. A great place to go out at night and enjoy good food and a great show in a nice and crowded place; The Setai. The atmosphere is full of energy; however, expect a noisy night with good music and some delays in the service, which our server was very polite anyways. The shows are great and makes the waiting more pleasant. Paid parking available and Valet as well.

We had a great experience! The atmosphere was lively, thanks to the on-site DJ who played a fun mix of house music and other genres that really elevated the vibe. There was no wait at the buffet stations. The variety of food offered was impressive, almost overwhelming. They have everything from Indian and Chinese to Italian, with options suitable for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The dessert selection was also a highlight for us, especially the live crepe and vanilla ice cream station, which quickly became our favorites. For those who don’t drink alcohol, the mocktail options were a pleasant surprise. We especially enjoyed the passion fruit one, it was refreshing and full of flavour having been severed with mint and lime. You definitely get your money's worth.

Bagatelle Miami is a trendy spot known for its modern French cuisine and stylish Euro-chic decor adorned with vibrant artwork. The restaurant attracts a fashionable crowd, especially during its lively brunch, where guests can indulge in refined dishes like homemade French toast with fresh berries and Nutella or the extravagant Bagatelle burger. In the evening, patrons can savor a selection of cured meats from the charcuterie board before diving into the whole farm-raised truffled chicken.
We went here on a thursday night expecting it to be really lit and loud and tbh it was quite the opposite but it was our first night in miami so we were not mad at all after a tiring travel day. The food was literally 10/10. I was really expecting it to be mediocre but might’ve been one of our fav places to eat on our 5 day trip. We ordered the arincini balls, the carpaccio, and the ravioli plus the bread they gave us was to die for. I went here with my best friend and we truly had a great experience i would definitely come back

I have to admit, the shows are a good time. Forget the usual half-naked dancers—you’ll find themed characters bringing the energy up and keeping the crowd entertained. It definitely helps make up for the lackluster food. The DJ keeps the beats flowing, so if you’re looking for fun, this place delivers. Just don’t set your hopes too high for the meal. Drinks? Totally fine.
Rocío S — Google review
To sum it up, super expensive and food doesn’t taste nearly as good. Just pretentiousness. Presentation was good but the taste of the food was well below mediocre. Pomme fois gras was very disappointing, flavor wasn’t there and it was too undercooked. Tuna tartare was average. Their $28 truffle shavings (3 pieces) hardly had any flavor. Pizza with cheese was cold. Steak was ok, peppercorn sauce was also ok - you can probably eat a better steak in Applebees. The mash potato side tasted like it was a powder and water mix. Fries tasted like they’ve been fried in overused oil with a horrible aftertaste. Servers were friendly. The girl at the valet was really sweet hospitable. Does it worth $500 2-person dinner and $40 parking. Absolutely NOT!

Bagatelle Miami is definitely one of the more fun and high-energy dining spots in South Beach. The atmosphere is lively, upscale, and full of that classic Miami glamour. The music, the crowd, the lighting—everything feels like a party, but still with a sense of elegance. The food is really good, especially if you’re into French-Mediterranean flavors. The truffle pasta and seafood options are standouts, and the drinks are well-crafted. Service was attentive and the staff definitely know how to keep the vibe going.

You can tell the staff genuinely care about creating a memorable experience. And the food? Absolutely divine. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The ingredients were fresh, the portions generous, and the execution flawless. From starters to dessert, it was a culinary joyride. What makes Bagatelle stand out even more is how everything just comes together — the music, the lighting, the energy of the room — it’s an experience, not just a meal. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just enjoying life, this is the perfect place to do it. Thank you, Bagatelle, for an unforgettable night. I can’t wait to come back.

I had such a great experience at Bagatelle! The atmosphere was vibrant, lively, and full of positive energy — exactly what you want for a night out. The service was attentive and friendly, everything felt very welcoming. Special thanks to the two hostesses — they were professional, warm, and made us feel truly taken care of from the very beginning. Their kindness and attention set the perfect tone for the evening. Definitely a place I’d recommend if you’re looking for a mix of great vibes, good service, and a stylish setting.

Novikov Miami is an elegant Chinese-Japanese restaurant known for its upmarket sushi and seafood dishes, as well as its outdoor seating. Originally from London, this buzzy spot has a clubby atmosphere that perfectly fits the Miami vibe. The cocktail menu features strong options like the frothy wasabi martini and pisco sour with a touch of sweet heat.
From the moment we arrived, Novikov Miami impressed with its seamless valet service and prime location, making the experience effortless from the start. The ambiance is nothing short of spectacular—an artful blend of chic decor, perfectly curated lighting, and a lively yet sophisticated soundtrack that elevates the dining experience. Our server, Jean, provided impeccable service with an attentive yet unobtrusive approach, enhancing the evening with expert recommendations and warm hospitality. Without a doubt, we will be requesting his section on our next visit. As for the cuisine—every dish was a masterpiece. Flawlessly balanced flavors, exquisite presentation, and an unmistakable attention to detail made each bite a delight. For those seeking an elevated culinary journey, Novikov delivers in every aspect. Check out the review photos for a glimpse into this unforgettable feast. A true gem in Miami’s fine dining scene—highly recommended, and we will undoubtedly return.

Unforgettable Dining Experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambience set the tone for an incredible night—elegant, inviting, and effortlessly cool. The food? Absolutely next level. We don’t even eat raw fish, and yet we found ourselves savoring every last bite of each dish. The duck wraps were a standout—easily some of the best in Miami. What truly made the experience exceptional was the service. The manager, Daniel, personally checked in to ensure everything was perfect, and our server, Nick, was the real star of the night. Knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about the menu, he made sure we had an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for fresh, flavorful food and top-tier hospitality, this spot is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!

One of my favorite spots for a casual or business lunch during the week. The ambiance is upbeat with good music, but still quiet enough for easy conversation. Service is relaxed, no one rushes you. The lunch menu delivers great quality, and if you go on a Friday, they offer the best wine deal in town: a bottle of Whispering Angel for $25. Food is solid (4/5), and the chicken truffle dim sum appetizer is a standout. Don’t leave without trying the Peking duck: rich, crispy, and perfectly paired with delicate sides. Valet is available, but Uber is usually easier. Totally worth it.

Absolutely loved our dinner at Novikov Miami! The sushi was incredibly fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a standout. The rest of the menu was just as delicious, and the service was top-notch from start to finish. A must-visit spot for an elevated dining experience.

Me and my parents had one of the best dining experiences at Novikov thanks to our incredible server, Alain!! We told him to surprise us with whatever he thought was best, and he curated an unforgettable meal. Every dish Alain brought out was not only delicious, but perfectly complemented the next. He described each plate with such passion and enthusiasm that it made the whole experience even more special. What impressed me most was that Alain didn’t overwhelm us with huge portions or try to push the most expensive items, he genuinely wanted us to enjoy the very best of what Novikov has to offer. After visiting a few times before, I can confidently say this was by far the best experience, all thanks to Alain. From now on, I only want to come back if he’s our server!!

Excellent Asian Restaurant in Brickell. Very good food. Trendy and noisy atmosphere with DJ but the music is not too loud. Big menu, so I’ll come back to try some other things. I recommend!!

I booked Novikov for my honey’s 45th bday dinner, with just the two of us. Our reservation was for 8:30, we arrived at 8:45 and waited 10-15 mins for our table. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant in Alain’s section and here’s where the magic happened. He took such great care of us, giving recommendations and great details of the menu items considered. To start, we requested our usual, two spicy mezcalitas. Next, we ordered the delicious hamachi, and the king crab maki - both 10/10. Then were the short rib bao buns and the undefeated Brussel Sprouts w/ crispy pork belly - so genius another 10/10. For the main we went with the wagyu ribeye and prawn fried rice - these were good, especially steak but the prawn fried rice was not a star of the night and that’s okay. Alain; such great personality and service. We will definitely be back to see you “Jersey”. Thanks for making an unforgettable birthday experience.
Kacie W — Google review
This was my third visit to Novikov and, unfortunately, the first truly disappointing one. My friend was celebrating her birthday, and I insisted we go to Novikov because it had always been a top-tier experience. When we arrived, no one acknowledged the birthday, even though we mentioned it when making the reservation. Our waiter seemed distracted and rushed, barely looked at us, kept asking us to repeat our orders, and didn’t offer any recommendations on what dishes were best. The food this time was quite mediocre. My truffle rice was extremely salty, I could barely eat it. No one offered to refill our wine glasses when they were empty; we had to flag down the waiter each time. When we ordered dessert, we asked for a candle to be placed in one of them. The response was a dry “okay” (still no friendliness or birthday greeting, unlike in other restaurants where they make an effort). I don’t know what happened to Novikov, but I have no desire to return. The service was poor, the food was average, and it left a bitter aftertaste on what was supposed to be a special celebration.

P.F. Chang's is a family-friendly restaurant chain known for its creative Asian cuisine served in a stylish setting. The restaurant has made it to the list of allergy-friendly restaurants due to its strict kitchen protocols for accommodating allergic diners. It is popular among trendier diners for its contemporary interior and diverse menu, featuring dishes from Szechwan, Hunan, Cantonese, and Shanghai cuisines.
My experience was great! Walked in and was greeted by the host- with a smile. Was escorted to our table and moments later Dana (I believe one of the managers) asked if we were being served— We told her no, not yet. She then began to take out drink and food orders. The strawberry, cucumber refresher is delicious. The customer service was overall great and I would recommend coming here to dine.

Very awful experience, don't recommend. Took nearly 1 hr to get to our main course which wasn't worth the wait. All the food was super bland with barely any taste/seasoning. We ordered the Korean fried chicken which essentially was all breading and barely any chicken. Unfortunately it was so bland and not even tasty. We also got Lo mein which is $2 extra which was basically noodles with no veggies or other ingredients. The firecracker shrimp was a little seasoned, was able to taste at least some garlic. Unsurprisingly the table next to us barely touched their plate. Unless you have no other options and really are craving Asian food, would not recommend to come here.

My first experience at this restaurant was bad. The place is located in the Brickell area, very close to the Brickell City Centre shopping mall. The restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating. I got in around 4 p.m. on Thursday. The restaurant was half empty, so there was no line to get a table, and I had a choice of many tables to sit at; I picked one on the outside terrace. The restaurant menu is pretty big and has a nice selection of food. Also, there was a Happy Hour menu, but it didn’t have many items on it, and all of them were appetizers. I decided to try the Orange Chicken at this place, which I love and have pretty often. Originally, this meal comes with rice, but I asked my waiter if I could switch the rice for Lo Mein noodles, and the answer was positive, but I would have to pay some extra money for that, which was okay for me because I love noodles. I got my food 15 minutes after the waiter took my order. The orange chicken and the noodles came on two different plates, which was weird. Aesthetically, it looked awful, to be honest, like some cheap fast-food Chinese place would serve food. The orange chicken appeared decent, but its taste was just so-so. The chicken was slightly dry, sounded like it was overcooked a little bit, and it did not taste sweet and orangey like it’s supposed to; I could feel a lot of salty flavor for some reason. The noodles looked very boring; no veggies or sauce were added to them (usually, Lo Mein consists of some pieces of vegetables which give them some flavor, plus some soy sauce). As a result, they had no flavor and were dry. My food was a big disappointment! Price-wise, the orange chicken costs $19, and I was charged an extra $4.60 for the noodles. Is it worth it? Absolutely not! Honestly, the orange chicken and the noodles at “Panda Express” taste a lot better and cost less than at this restaurant. But I must mention that, in general, prices for food on the menu seemed somewhat reasonable. You can find many items on the menu which cost around $20, which is not bad for Miami. And the Happy Hour menu has items for like $7. After my bad experience with the orange chicken, I regretted that I did not pick the crab wontons and the dumplings from this menu, which I almost did, and I would have spent less money on these two items. Next, I want to mention my waiter, who took a lot of time to bring my glass of water after I placed my order (it took him almost 10 minutes to come back to me with the water). Moreover, he took almost 10 minutes to bring my bill, having served a few tables around me before. Plus, he did not go and charge my card right away; he brought back my card about 6 minutes later. I need to mention here that he was the only guy serving the whole outdoor area, which got completely busy with people by the end of my meal. At that point, a second waiter should have been there to help him! From what I saw when I was inside the restaurant, the place looked nice and very clean; my table was also ideally clean when I got there. The biggest plus of this business for me was that no Service Fee was automatically included in the bill like many restaurants in Miami nowadays have, and it is very annoying! So at this place, you are welcome to tip as much as you want. Honestly, I have no wish to come back to this restaurant; it left zero clue for me to return. And I would not recommend this place to other people. But if you still decide to visit it, trust me, do not order the orange chicken with Lo Mein noodles, which will probably disappoint you like it did me.

SUCH a fun spot! Great place to just chat with friends and eat/drink, but then turns into a dance spot at night. The DJ on Thursday was outstanding and played all the best throwbacks. Dancing environment was 10/10. Highly recommend!

Great spot to try a variety of Asian dishes. We had the ramen, sushi, spring rolls, and Vietnamese iced coffee. The Vietnamese place outside stood out to us and was really great. We walked in mid day on a Saturday and found a table with limited waiting for food. Great vibe with plenty of seating and everything was delicious.

Unfortunately I can't post reviews for individuals restaurants. I got some sum sampler for lovers and even though it cost $22.9 I ended up paying $31 not including tip which is pretty upsetting. There wasnt much of the food, some of it tasted old/dry but I liked the veggie roll and shrimp dumpling. Not worth it though overall and it's also the reason for my low rating. The other restaurant arigato baby, was better and we got the brisket bowl with rice which was $17 and after service charge and tax $20 without tip. The bowl was pretty tasty, meat was on dryer side. Lastly we got the miami halo-halo from Filipino BBQ and it was a disaster. There was one miniature scoop of ice cream, a little bit of some corn flakes, some corn and 90% of it was crushed ice for $13 without tip. Overall this food hall is lovely but food doesn't seem to be worth it and the final cost magically increases by a lot.. parking is only paid

Gold Marquess 🔥 They did not disappoint! If you get there in time for lunch definitely get the Fried katsu Curry. I was full halfway through but it was so good I finished the whole plate. I'm from St. Louis originally, no one has fried rice like us. This is the first time fried rice has tasted like it supposed to—this is real fried rice! The pork belly was soooooo good! I haven't been here in about 4 years and I forgot how good this place was. But yeah the menu looks good definitely ask for recs. He did not steer me wrong!

I tried 1-800 Lucky and loved it! I got the crispy orange chicken with a side of white rice — the chicken was perfectly cooked, juicy on the inside with a nice crispy coating and a thick, flavorful sauce that tied everything together. It was a little on the pricey side (about $32), but honestly, the ambience and overall experience make it worth it. The vibe inside is super cool and unique — definitely a spot I’d recommend checking out at least once!

A lovely little mini Asian market with a great variety of stalls offering all kinds of delicious food. We came from the UK, and we tried the katsu sushi roll and the Singapore rice noodles — both were excellent! The noodles portion was generous, easily enough for two to share. They did add a tip automatically, but since they brought both plates of food over to our table, we didn’t mind at all as service was great. Great flavours and a fun experience!

I recently dined at this restaurant and had an incredible experience. The roast duck was delicious, and the hot pot was equally amazing. The restaurant's décor is stunning, and the waitstaff is impressively multilingual, speaking four languages fluently. The manager, Allen, provided exceptional service. He even surprised me with a complimentary birthday cake upon learning I had just celebrated my birthday. My friends and I had a fantastic time dining here. We are deeply grateful for the wonderful hospitality and will definitely return. Highly recommended!

We live in Fort Lauderdale, and I have never found a Chinese restaurant that I really liked around us. They are ok, but this place was amazing. I'm surprised by the current review rating and doing my part for a boost! The dishes are very authentic and everything we ordered was fresh and delicious. I had the roasted duck, which is one of my must-haves in a good Chinese restaurant. It was delicious. We went early, but the dining room also has a Karoke stage and they say it's a lot of fun. Donald, our waiter was also very professional and gave good advice on items to order.

Worst experience in a restaurant, bad attitudes, food is ok, the restaurant was empty of people, had to pay for parking and charged 20% of tips obligatory. This restaurant is known for its roasted duck, and we wanted to try it, so we made a reservation online for five people. We had to pay for the parking because the restaurant is in the lobby of a building and it looked fancy from the outside of the restaurant. When we enter the restaurant a white guy was taking care of us and guiding us to the table the white guy gave us 4 cups of water, but we had five people, so we asked to bring another cup of water with the Chinese guy and the Chinese guy was yelling at the white guy that he didn't look that we have five people and he was blaming it on him. The Chinese guy was rushing us to order like two times. When we started ordering, the Chinese guy took the order, we were going to order short ribs but they didn't have them so we were struggling with what to order he was rushing us again so we were going to order four plates and we ended up ordering three plates and the Chinese guy was saying "only three plates? fine whatever you guys like" and he was rudely looking at us. While we were waiting. we saw that there was only 2 party of people eating in that restaurant. I had a feeling it was because of the service, people wouldn't come in to eat. When the food was ready, it wasn't that bad but it wasn't good. The white guy only checked on us one time. We were trying to eat fast because we wanted to get out of that place so badly. After eating, we were looking for someone to ask for the check and we saw the white guy using his phone for a while finally we saw the Chinese guy pass by and we asked for the check we looked at the check and they charge us 20% of tips without us knowing but we didn't ask why they charge us and we paid, we were too tired to argue about it, we spent $121 in total it wasn't worth it but we learned our lesson, we would never come back to this restaurant and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. This is our last day in Florida and we had a terrible experience in this restaurant which made our trip unpleasant. When leaving the restaurant the Chinese guy was watching us leave, and even though he charged us 20% of the tips he didn't say thank you to us. He was looking at us in a rude way the whole time and we didn't want to say thank you to them either. It was our first time receiving this kind of bad attitude in a restaurant and our first time writing a bad review, so please take our experience as a warning for you guys that in Florida there are a lot of restaurants that are way better than this one and it's not worth it to take a risk.

Had a delicious dinner here last night! It was our first time trying Hot Pot and the service, atmosphere and dishes were epic. We started with the half Peking duck, highly recommend! Then the Chicken Dumplings, very flavorful. We then had the best course which was Hot Pot. My partner got the mushroom broth and I got the pork broth along with beef, shrimp, Chinese broccoli, egg and more. Our waiter brought us some special sauce to dip the toppings in once it came out of the pot. You can also choose your own sauce at the sauce bar. It was so fun making our own meats and veggies in the hot pot and the sauce was so tasty. We will definitely be back to try their ramen soon!

Chifa Du Kang, located in Doral and established in 2003, offers a unique blend of Chinese and Peruvian cuisine. This fusion is a result of the historical influence of Chinese immigrants on Peruvian culinary traditions. The menu features a delightful mix of traditional Peruvian dishes such as chaufa rice, lomo saltado, and chijaukay chicken prepared using oriental cooking techniques like wok frying but with distinct Peruvian ingredients like aji panca and pisco.

This is a great small restaurant with a really cute vibe inside. All the servers are so sweet and really try hard to make sure you have a good dining experience. The food is delightful. It's is Peruvian Chinese food which I love. I've always visited their location on bird road. But now that I live in Doral I decided to try this one out and was very happy to know the quality is the same. The wonton soup is very simple but perfect. Fresh ingredients and a great light broth. The veggie chaufa was also delightful. I will definitely be returning.

There is no question: grab that chicken fried rice it is deeeelicious! After ordering our meal, it was presented within 10 minutes. The environment is pleasant, you can have a conversation without having to yell or ask the person to repeat themselves. We decided we can place this restaurant on our repeat list as it & the staff made us happy in our bellies and treated us very kindly.

Absolutely amazing food for the money. Extremely large portions that will have you eating for days. We love to get their chaufa and pollo al limon. But what really makes them stand out from the rest of the restaurants is their customer service. I ordered online on this occasion and there was a slight misunderstanding with one the appetizers. Not only did they immediately correct their mistake but they let me keep the ‘incorrect’ order. You’ll realize that the moment you walk in, everyone is greeting you and ready to serve you. Happiness is contagious and pleasant service goes a long way with a great meal! Definitely recommend this place.

Palmar is a small, cozy restaurant in Wynwood serving up Chinese classics such as fried rice and dumplings alongside a respectable wine list. It has a pink facade, hanging wicker lamps, and elbow room only dining room which makes it fun to stop off before a night out. The restaurant's blue crab fried rice with bean sprouts and an egg that is 63 degrees Fahrenheit is especially delicious.
AMAZING DELICIOUS FOOD I was here for the first time and I was blown away with all the flavors, presentation, service, etc. We were surprised by all of the ‘Dim sum’ options they have one tastier than the other. The corn from the appetizers was one of a kind. And we were seated outside wish was PERFECT for us. Just come and try it, because it’s worth it.

We had a wonderful lunch here at Palmar. I liked the vibe of this place so much, they had Latin music very upbeat and the food was Chinese, so it was a really nice and interesting mix. You can park on the streets and pay with your pay by phone app or you can park in the back of the restaurant where they have a few spots for free parking for their guest, which I thought it was a big plus. I tried the Chinese rice which they made special for me since of my shellfish allergies it was very good, but nothing like those amazing dumplings. These were not regular dumplings, they were stuffed with plantains and tofu. Freshly fried, so crispy, and tasty. Definitely my favorite part of the lunch.

Got to sample some Potstickers, dumplings, egg rolls, crispy prawn, chinese broccoli, crispy Chinese eggplant, egg fried rice, char siu pork ribs, Mongolian beef, and for dessert 5 spice egg Custard. It was great catching up with some friends. Staff and service was excellent.

The ambiance is very nice and the food was great. I wasn’t too happy with the restriction in table seating. We wanted a larger table as we like to order multiple plates and want space when doing so. We were told that the larger tables are for parties of three or more. It wouldn’t have been a problem however during our dinner they sat two different couples at the very same tables we asked to sit at. Thought it was weird but some of the dishes made up for it. Everything was finely crafted and delicious. However, I had hoped the blue crab rice had more crab in it, it didn’t.

Love this place, it isn’t your basic Chinese. I only order vegetarian plates and I am happy with their flavors and options. I think it’s a low key and delicious option for lunch or at night. The 5spice dessert was awesome. I’ve taken a few friends here and they were pleased and happy with everything they ordered. The corn on the dinner menu is delish. The shiitake edamame I just wish there were more I could eat about five of them. Had the lunch china bowl with just vegetables tofu and Mongolian sauce, and I’m satisfied. Staff is friendly and consistent. Several times I’ve been see the same faces and it’s nice to build rapport. Thank you to the kitchen for introducing interesting flavors to Chinese. This is the first Chinese place I’ve done on repeat.

When a dessert is the highlight of your meal, there is something wrong. The Mamey tort was good, very interesting. A plus. The plate we were sold as a great dish was poorly done (Mongolian shrooms🍄) The Kimchi lacked a kick. The ribs were ok. The dumplings were not good at all and the price was insane. $9 for 3 small dumplings, a big hefty. The sitting outside was nice but mind the loud music next door. Plan accordingly. Stop by and experience it on your own.

Pricey for what it is. Fitout is cheap chic but the prices are upscale. Wine and drink prices are with a few exceptions "aspirational". How hard is it to offer a few bottles closer to $30 and some sub $10 beers and glasses of wine? (zero local beer offerings btw) Overall I'd say food and drink prices are about 20% higher than they should be for the concept and ambiance, and the North Wynwood location across 29th from a low rent housing area. Service was a bit off - beer ordered with food came after the second dish arrived. Kitchen was super fast with food arriving quicker than we prefer, but not a big deal and could be viewed positively by some. Food was prepared well and ingredients seemed all high quality. The Guo Bao were excellent, with tender pork filling and good flavor. Shrimp crudo dish had great quality raw shrimp, overpowered by too much mayonaissey sauce. Duck "confit" dumplings were fried with a too-thick wrapper and uninspiring filling, but the sauce was good. The menu should really state whether "dumplings" are fried or steamed. If they were steamed variety with a proper fatty confit filling they could be amazing. Egg noodle dish at $27 for 6 "Patagonian" shrimp and a 63 degree egg - shrimp were tender; the egg vanished into the the firm noodles when mixed and offered no perceptible benefit (and I tend to love the 63 degree egg concept). Ditch the gimmicky egg, and make this dish with local shrimp and slightly softer noodles for 18-20 bucks and it's a winner. In summary, I expected food to be consistently excellent for the prices charged (and the tauted Bon Appetit "Top 50"), and it wasn't. For Miami the food was average for the prices charged. Anyone visiting from a city with large Asian populations like SF or NY will likely be disappointed.

Located on the outskirts of downtown Coconut Grove, Minty Z Dim Sum & Pan Asian offers a diverse range of Asian flavors with a touch of Mediterranean and American influences. The menu features unique dishes like BBQ Jackfruit Lo Mai Gai and warm beets and endive salad, blending sweet and savory flavors. The restaurant's veggie section boasts Lemon-Miso Yu Choy, General Tso's Brussels, and Wok-Fried Wild Mushrooms.
This was our second time at Minty Z and still remains one of our favorite restaurants we’ve ever been to! We got the 10 course Omakase and it was outstanding. Everything was fresh and flavorful and it is a great portion of food each course. Our servers were kind and attentive. Cannot recommend this place enough, we will continue to come back!

UPDATE: Right as I posted this review, I realized this place closed it's doors September 1, 2024 about a week after we went. As such, it now makes sense that the pride of the workers decreased the quality of the output. TLDR: I did not want to write this because the food was just so far away from every other description and expectation out there. So many dishes were bland or inedible. Atmosphere: Small, cute, clean, but very loud. Between the bare floors and bare ceiling, it felt loud and the restaurant was only half full when we were there. Service: Food arrived quickly (however I don't know if that is good after tasting it), and our server was kind and attentive. He took one of the entrees off the check for us and we made sure to tip via the full amount. It wasn't his fault. Food: If it wasn't for the service and atmosphere, this would probably be a 2.5 friends... And I really wanted and expected this to be a solid 5. We were driving up from the Keys back to Ft. Lauderdale on a early Sunday evening and we... were... hungry. We also wanted to try as much as we could. Even with one entree being taking off, the wife and I spent $200 for two, so we tried A LOT. Starting with the brussels, very strong. Good sesame flavor with the soy glaze. A little salty, but overall we were very excited with this as a start. Then came the scallion pancake. Of the 8 pieces it was cut into, my wife's first slice was the only one with scallion or flavor at all. I (one who LOVES scallion pancakes) was sitting there chewing gooey dough on the inside with no salt, no seasoning, and no scallion. My wife was confused until she tried her second slice and we left the rest to be collected :( Then came the cucumber salad... oh boy, the first bite and we were in love. The flavors were so perfectly balanced with fresh, salty, and sweet, but it all went to a dark place when we stirred the salad and took a second bite. The rest of the dish was mouth-pain level over salted. I am not one for hyperbole with reviews, but this was inedible. It was as if the top of the salt shaker came off while cooking. The steamed asparagus dumplings were okay, but opposite to the salad, quite bland, really no seasoning, just veggies steamed in a dump. The bao bun glaze, absolute perfection, but the bun filling... unseasoned, dry, and gritty. The corn fritter fritters were also very one note. You get hot fried corn and that is about it. No surprise kick or hint of something fresh, just corn fritters. The special Katsu Tofu bao sandwich was also very dry and we got no hints of actual katsu curry flavor. Next came the mains. My wife's Kung Pao Tofu was really good, definitely the best dish of the night. If all the food was like this, I could easily give 5 stars. However, my Singapore curry noodles... oof. You can see from the pics, but the curry powder was not dissolved into a sauce so I got powdery clumps of dry spices as I ate the noodles. For how salty the salad was, there was also really no salt in the Singapore noodles. Lastly, came the powdered beignets, which were raw in the middle. I sincerely hope this was just a one-off, bad luck night, but I can not, in good conscious just write it off. There was absolutely zero consistency in the food. Some chef's may "under" or "over" season their food to my personal taste and that is fine, that is subjective. However, it felt like the kitchen staff were not tasting the food they were making. Some things were so salty our lips were cracking and others had no spice / flavor at all. With undercooked dough and clumpy curry powder... I am being generous with the 3 star overall rating in the hopes this is not normal. I really don't like writing vegan restaurants under 4 stars and I hope the kitchen reviews this and makes the appropriate changes.

Delicious, creative, and colorful menu that will take you on a flavor-filled journey around Asia, while still reminding you that you’re in Miami. And with no animal cruelty involved! The way they blend Asian and Miami influences into incredible dishes is artful. Everything I tried was perfectly executed—bursting with flavor, great texture, beautiful plating. However, my favorites were the roasted cauliflower and ube buns. Service was impeccable. Highly recommend for vegans and non-vegans alike!

Stumbled upon this restaurant knowing almost nothing about it other than it being dim sum. It was one of the best meals I’ve had out in a long time. Service was amazing, everyone was lovely and the food was so delicious. I’m sad I live in Tennessee and won’t be able to go back soon!

Honestly one of the most innovative vegan dim sum places I’ve ever been to. Period. There are lots of vegan options and their menu is honestly very nice. The staff is superb and the service is awesome. Highlight has to be the sweet and sour mushrooms. So good. The texture is amazing. Highly recommended! The mushroom wonton soup was a bit of a bummer. Healthy meal but the taste was just okay. Again, very innovative menu options and I’m so excited to come back again!

This place is delicious! Highly suggest trying it out if you’re vegan and enjoy plant based foods. The eggplant was really flavorful, and the tofu was fantastic, we also got bao buns and dumplings, everything was great. Eat here.

Came here for lunch with a friend and really enjoyed it! We came at about 1pm and were seated right away. We opted for their lunch menu which I found to be an amazing deal! It's $20 and comes with a small plate, a large plate, and a drink, which could be alcoholic! I got the Avocado Spring Rolls as the small plate, the Sweet and Sour Mushrooms as the large plate, and the Coconut Limeade to drink! I honestly loved all three of these things but my absolute favorite were the sweet and sour mushrooms! Our server was very friendly and explained everything to us and the restaurant itself is quaint but charming! I would definitely come back!

I first heard of Minty Z from my sister and I have to say it was a great recommendation 🙌. All of the food is vegan and is completely unassuming! The flavors and textures of the dishes we had were truly amazing 🤩. I totally recommend the following: (1) sesame seitan wings (2) smashed cucumber salad (3) orange tofu and (4) matcha creme brulee 😋. Of course, don't forget that you have to quench your thirst! We tried the yuzu spritz, Shanghai sangria and another drink that is not on the menu yet (can't recall the name 😅) they were all really good and well balanced 🫶. Overall, if you're in the grove and looking for a boutique-y quick bite, I'd recommend stopping by here. Cheers 🥂!

Calista Greek Seafood Taverna is a delightful gem nestled in Coral Gables, aiming to bring authentic Greek cuisine to the forefront of the local dining scene. With its charming white-and-blue exterior reminiscent of Santorini, this taverna offers a warm and inviting atmosphere for diners.
Nice Authentic Greek Restaurant in the heart of The Gables, Giralda Street the pedestrian zone. Nice big outdoor seating area but cozy inside space as well with bar and fish counter. Service was great and the food was excellent, taste as well as display. Only thing I would recommend is to offer half portions for the salads which were huge and most times its just nice to have a small side plate of salad with your meal.

The atmosphere is nice, especially outside. The service was nice and quite attentive. I have to say that there were a lot of products missing. I like places where the waiter asks me if I ordered more than I should have, which he didn't give a damn about, it was a lot of food. The food was good, but somewhat common, nothing special. Some gratin clams that we ordered seemed like frozen food.
JR S — Google review
The best Greek restaurant in town, serving deliciously fresh Mediterranean dishes. I come here all the time because the food is healthy, they have a nice wine selection, and they always have some new item on the menu. My favorite fish to eat here is the Pink Snapper, not many other restaurants serve this Mediterranean fish. However, the branzino, the lamb, the moussaka, and the meatballs are also divine. Order several appetizers to share and enjoy the ambiance of their large yet cozy outdoor terrace. The service is friendly and welcoming and they are generous with complimentary dessert for everyone. The location is another plus because you can enjoy a walk after dinner or a drink at one of many nearby bars.
Luz H — Google review
I was really looking forward to dining at Calista, especially since I was introducing my in-laws to Greek cuisine for the first time. Unfortunately, the experience was a big letdown. The service was extremely slow, and when we asked about the delay, we were told it was because a large party — friends of the owner — was being prioritized. When our food finally came out, my shrimp was cold. I sent it back, only to receive the same shrimp, just thrown back on the grill and burned. No manager ever came out to address the issue. A staff member named Oni said he was the manager, but he admitted he couldn’t do anything except promise to “take care of us next time.” There won’t be a next time. Beyond the service, the food didn’t taste authentic — which was especially disappointing as I was hoping to share a real Greek dining experience with my family. Sadly, this visit missed the mark in every way. I won’t be recommending this restaurant.

I went for a birthday dinner, we were there from 6PM to 9PM. The restaurant is very cute and homey, the color palette of the places is light colors mainly blue and white. It gives off cozy with a great atmosphere , the inside seating area is a little snug . I would recommend outside seating to big groups or making reservations if you’re a group of 6+. The service was not what I would expect for a restaurant in the gables, they weren’t as attentive. We had to constantly wave down the waiter when ordering, and even when we had the opportunity to place our orders RECEIVING what was ordered was not guaranteed. I order a sweet white wine which was never delivered and the waiter did not bring up until it was time to pay the bill. When the food was served, is when they decided to inform us that various of the sides that we had ordered weren’t available. Throughout our entire dine-in experience our waiter never passed by to refill our waters and when we requested water they still didn’t bring it. The food in itself was delicious but the lemon potatoes were just a tad bit over cooked and personally were too lemony. We ordered a plate of calamari which was absolutely delicious, they did a fantastic job on frying it. 3.1/5 -need to improve customer service!!

Zeru Miami is a culinary gem that showcases the vibrant flavors of Basque cuisine, offering an array of delightful pintxos and socarrats that capture the essence of this unique gastronomic tradition. Originating from Mexico City in 2009, Zeru has evolved into a must-visit destination for food enthusiasts. The restaurant's roots lie in the Basque region and Asturias, bringing forth a menu rich in North Atlantic seafood and fresh produce from Northwestern Spain.
Zeru Miami is more than just a restaurant — it’s a sensory journey through the heart of Basque-Mediterranean cuisine, executed with impeccable mastery and an attention to detail that leaves you speechless. The ambiance is elegant yet warm, blending modern sophistication with subtle coastal charm. Every dish is a work of art — beautifully plated, rich in flavor, and clearly crafted with top-quality ingredients. From the freshly prepared seafood to the wood-fired meats and the exquisite selection of wines, every bite feels intentional and elevated. The service is equally exceptional. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about creating a memorable dining experience. They make you feel welcomed and cared for from the moment you walk in. Zeru is not just a place to eat — it’s a place to celebrate life, good company, and the joy of fine cuisine. Whether you’re a local or visiting Miami, this restaurant is a must. I can’t wait to go back.

A very wonderful dining experience right in Brickell. The venue itself is beautiful, with a really nice ambiance inside and romantic vibe. It was a slow night so service was extremely attentive but not overbearing, and as we are doing dry January (lol) we didn’t partake in wine service. The food is fantastic, very thoughtful dishes and really elegant presentation. Our server walked us through the menu and explained everything in great detail so I think we ordered perfectly because of that. Don’t skip the paellas, we went for the sirloin and it was sooo delicious. The butternut squash was a last minute addition that surprised us as our favourite dish. It’s a bit pricey but to be expected in Brickell and considering the portion sizes it was satisfying for sure. Also recommend the stuffed peppers and of course the croquettes.

What a beautifully decorated place, the art pieces were the highlight of the decor for us, perfect for a date night or lunch. The service was outstanding, the staff is certainly well trained. The food was delicious, but our favorite was the dessert! Probably my favorite right now. We preferred the fish over the meat dishes, we found a good balance between flavor and culinary ingenuity. The bacalao croquettes were delicious, you could see the flakiness of the bacalao after the first bite, I would highly recommend the seafood in this place. The clams were spectacular as well. Overall a pleasant experience and a savory delight. We will be returning for sure!

Five diamond stars, very well deserved. Everything at Zeru is great, from the delicious food to the exceptional service and attention. Luis, our waiter, was spectacular with his attentive service and extensive knowledge of each dish. Pablo, one of the managers, was super attentive. The dishes at Zeru are excellent, with outstanding quality and presentation. We went for a wine tasting, which I highly recommend 100%. Overall, we left Zeru very pleased and will definitely be back many more times.

We had gone a few years ago and good was authentic Spanish. Went returned Saturday and food was just trendy and not authentic Spanish. The tomahawk steak was full of grease. The place is lovely and great entertainment- however we won't be returning for the food.

The place is stunning and the service was really good (we went on a Monday night and practically had it to ourselves). The food was tasty and well-prepared, but I found the portions quite small for the price, especially the paella, which had only about three spoonfuls of rice. Still giving 4 stars because the atmosphere was lovely and the server was very attentive.

I really enjoyed the food here! The mango chutney was super tasty. Also the tamarind sauce and red onions they give you in the beginning of the meal were delicious too. Nestled in Upper Buena Vista, El Turco Turkish Food is a charming cafe that specializes in serving traditional Turkish breakfast dishes known as Kahvalti. The cafe takes pride in honoring its culinary heritage and aims to offer visitors an authentic taste of Turkish cuisine along with its cultural story. In addition to dining in, El Turco also provides takeaway options for those who wish to savor their delectable offerings at home.
El Turco is a hidden gem in Upper Buena Vista that really delivers on both food and atmosphere. Sitting under the banyan tree gives the place a calm, unique vibe that feels like a little escape from the city. The menu is full of authentic Turkish dishes, and everything I tried tasted fresh and full of flavor the kind of food that feels homemade and comforting. What really stood out to me though was the hospitality. I had the chance to meet Kevin, the owner, and he couldn’t have been a better host. He’s a good sport, genuinely welcoming, and made sure we felt taken care of the entire time. That personal touch set the tone for the whole visit. Nice restaurant in a cool setting under a giant tree outside. Given that they have a Michelin star I had expected more. The food seemed to have pretty muted flavors and was not exciting to eat. El Turco Upper Buena Vista in Miami truly exceeded our expectations. It’s hard to find a place that represents Turkish cuisine so authentically and deliciously. The food was absolutely amazing — everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Especially the breakfast plates and mezes were just perfect, full of taste and tradition. The service was just as impressive as the food. A special thanks to Mr. Alp, who constantly checked on our table, made sure everything was clean and organized, and treated us with such kindness and attention. The overall atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and spotless — it honestly felt like being back in Turkey. We are all about an Asian food hall and we found this spot inside 1-800 Lucky. Covid-19: we were able to eat outside on the patio that was very empty. We got the Shanghai Soup Dumplings, Char Siu Bao, and Crispy Mini Bao which came with a condensed milk dipping sauce. Everything was delicious. The soup dumplings were smaller than others I've had, but still just as good. The Char Siu Bao were perfect. The Crispy Mini Bao were a great, unique dessert. It's a little pricey. Each dish was very small and cost about $10. We spent over $30 for what felt like a few snacks. 1-800 Lucky is a must try food hall in my opinion and this place is worth checking out while there.

It’s something about bad service that makes you never want to go back to a place. I went here for the first time a month ago. Ordered the shrimp dumplings. I would say about 3.5/5. However the service was HORRIBLE. The girl with the purple hair served me. She was very rude and just not friendly which I believe to be important in a customer service role. Not to add that when you sign, it adds a 20 percent extra gratuity. I didn’t mind, I work in the industry and know the struggle. But when you literally sit behind a screen to type my order and then bag it and then on top have the audacity to be condescending. You deserve zero. Nonetheless, I came and returned because I was craving dumplings. I visited yesterday. My dumplings were horrible. They were over steamed. I mean just a complete waste of money. And I even found something black in one of them. TO ADD, the same girl with the purple hair.. more concerned about her own lunch than a paying customer. Please sit this little girl down and have a chat with her. She should not be in this industry with the attitude she has. If you’re truly unhappy with a job, please leave. I will not be returning to this establishment.

Nestled in the heart of New York's West Village, RedFarm is a culinary gem that has been delighting diners since its inception in 2011. Housed within a charming 1828 brownstone, this cozy eatery offers an innovative take on traditional Chinese cuisine, crafted by dim sum maestro Joe Ng and the late Ed Schoenfeld. With its rustic ambiance and intimate seating for just 42 guests, RedFarm creates a unique dining experience that feels both personal and vibrant.
This establishment clearly provides a remarkable dining experience. The exceptional cuisine delighted the palate and left a lasting impression. Coupled with outstanding hospitality, it created a truly memorable occasion. Such a gem deserves wider recognition and accessibility. It's easy to understand the desire to share this wonderful find with others. Please bring this amazing food to Winter Garden, FL.

As a Chinese diner, I’m often skeptical about Chinese fusion restaurants, but RedFarm in Coconut Grove exceeded my expectations. The restaurant owner Jeffrey gifted us pork and crab soup dumplings upon learning it was our first visit—a delicious and thoughtful gesture. We started with crispy spicy beef, five-flavor chicken dumplings, and oxtail dumplings (must try-super good!) all beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For mains, the stir fried udon with short spare rib and crispy skin smoked chicken with ginger and peanut satay were both outstanding, with generous portions that allowed us to take some home. Jeffrey also took us on a brief kitchen tour, where we saw the hanging Peking ducks—crispy and golden, a must-try next time. I’m so happy to have such a gem in the Grove and can’t wait to return with more friends!

Dinner at Red Farm was an amazing experience. The service from all staff was phenomenal and our server/host was simply the best! We ordered the spicy beef and the mushroom and vegetable spring rolls for appetizers. The presentation of the spring rolls was so beautiful and creative! The taste was perfection and the spicy beef was super delicious. Our entree was the sweet and sour shrimp. These were colossal shrimp and a very good portion to share. These sauce and entire dish overall was superb! We couldn’t decide which fried rice combination to order since all sounded sooo good and we ended up ordering two different ones. The seafood fried rice, which brings shrimp, lobster and scallops. This was one of the best fried rice dishes I have ever had. The amount of seafood in the rice was more than I have ever seen anywhere else and the portion is definitely enough to share among several people. We also ordered the bacon fried rice, since I love bacon and Wow! So much bacon and excellent taste. Also a very large portion to share. The entire dinner experience was AMAZING and ambiance was lovely. I highly recommend you visit Red Farm.

New York or Florida, a Red Farm experience is like no other! Amazing meal presented superbly by professional staff. This location is worth the visit to Coconut Grove. Congratulations, Red Farm, on another successful location. We will return. Hint for readers- try everything! Soup dumplings are fantastic, as is Peking Duck. Leave room to feast on the Nutella dumpling dessert.

Birthday Dinner I recently visited RedFarm to celebrate my 79th Birthday and I absolutely love it. The food is delicious and the service is superb. We ordered the BBQ Duck Lettuce wrap, Yuzu Wasabi shrimp, the bacon and egg fried rice and the Nutella banana dumplings. We will definitely be returning.

This place exceed all my expectations! The food was absolutely incredible, everything was very fresh, flavorful and beautifully plated. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive and friendly. The ambience was lively yet cozy, making it a great spot for a fun night out or a special dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back!!!

What a great restaurant with great service. Real our server was perfect and provided great insights. Honestly, could not have been better. The flavors were incredible too some of the my favorites were the spicy crispy beef, the bbq beef fried rice, the lettuce duck tacos, the curry duck dumplings, the corn-truffle shrimp dumpling - all of it was so good!

I rarely leave reviews for restaurants, but I feel compelled to share my incredible experience at “Red Farm.” From the moment we arrived, everything was nothing short of delightful. Having lived in Hong Kong for a few years, I know how difficult it is to find authentic Chinese food in Miami, but the dishes here exceeded my expectations—and those of everyone in our party. Every bite was an explosion of flavor, the quality of the food was exceptional, and the presentation was both artistic and flawless. To top it all off, we had the privilege of meeting Chef Joe, the mastermind behind each amazing dish. I highly recommend “Red Farm.” You won’t be disappointed!

The sprawling 12,000 sq.ft. restaurant and lounge features four unique concepts - a restaurant, mercado, garden and lounge all in one place. The vibrant atmosphere is perfect for day or nightlife, with creative cocktails and lively music making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors.
This place was amazing! The food was so good, order the firecracker shrimp, trust me. They had a DJ playing dance music but also a man playing live sax along with it, very cool! At one point all the servers got together and lit giant sparklers, the lights went down, the music went up and the servers walked around handing out the sparklers to us and then 2 Chinese dragons came parading around restaurant, it was awesome!! Basically turned from dinner to drinks to dancing. You will spend a lot of money but worth it!!

We chanced upon this place after walking around the neighbourhood, searching for a place that opens past 10 pm. It so happens this place does. The outdoor seating is spacious and comfortable. The food selection was pretty limited. I’ve ordered a bowl of veggie fried rice as my main with a side of veggie dumpling. The dumplings were so-so, in my opinion. But what was unenjoyable about the fried rice was how extremely salty it was. I assume it was only my portion, but my friend’s fried rice was equally salty. The seasoning for the stir fry needs to be toned down by half. The service was good and friendly. The cocktails were pretty decent too.

It was a Birthday celebration and we had a blast! Chi has great areas to take selfies at and we did a bunch! Our server was great and very attentive! We ordered Coco Locos to drink and they were really good! Our food orders were the Crispy Pork Taquitos, Chinese BBQ Pork Ribs and the Ropa Viejas Spring Rolls. All were delicious!! They have a dance area and I was learning salsa dancing. Can't wait to go back.

Great spot but service is very slow. Additionally, not sure if they did much research, but their drinks straight up suck. Flavorless, watery and reminded me of chemicals. The pitcher is at least 75% ice. Wine came nearly boiling. Aside from that though, the food was good. Snce we had gone for happy hour and that's only for drinks (and they suck), we ended up paying mostly full price for everything that was ordered. There's so much room for improvement, hope they do something soon.

Ch’i is fun and delicious! The food was excellent. The Dim sum options were wonderful - and the Peking Duck was great- although it was not the traditional preparation. The Octopus was outstanding. And of course the Fondue dessert was a great way to finish the evening

If you want to sit inside, don't talk to the front hostess. She won't accommodate. Go inside and talk to the second hostess and see what can be done. The front one made it seem they were booked but several tables were available/empty for long periods. Food was phenomenal and very well prepared. It also came out super fast. Drinks were delicious and service was very attentive and great (even tho I had the feeling they were trying to rush me to eat, get dessert, etc). The ambiance was very cool.

Came to eat at this beautiful establishment but on the Mercado side. Great ambiance, food done quickly and delicious. The Ch'I Chinese chicken salad was bursting with delicious flavor and had good amount of chicken to salad ratio.

Lucky Oriental Mart 鴻運超级市场 is an unassuming supermarket that offers a diverse range of Asian grocery products, fresh produce, and ready-to-eat meals. Situated in a West Miami-Dade shopping plaza alongside Kon Chau, a renowned dim sum spot, this mart has become a go-to destination for those seeking authentic Chinese ingredients and delicacies.
Interesting the reviews this store has. I have been a few times in this store. Always find that I looked for. People must understand Chinese culture. They have a variety of cookies and candies, remedies for flu.

I was trying to buy something at this Chinese market and nobody shows up at the register. If you are lucky somebody will show up. Just go to another Chinese market where your time is valued.
ENRIQUE H — Google review
A bit overpriced compared to other asian markets I often go to. The older ladies are always extremely rude and discounted edible stuff by the cash register are almost always expired, other than that, love the place.

Carefully watch when your groceries are rung up. Sometimes I’d come home scratching my head wondering how my bill was so high. I read the reviews and discovered that they are cheating their customers so I tried to keep closer track by reconciling items on my receipt with what I brought home. Last time they charged me $9.99 for a cabbage. I weighed it and it worked out to about $4+/pound— not at all what was marked on the sign on the box. This time, they tried to ring up everything without a sticker on it at some insane price, but I was watching carefully. $7.99 for a single bunch of cilantro?? No siree— take it back! They also charged me $2 more for a package of mushrooms than the sign indicated but I had come to the check out prepared with a photo of their own sign so they had to delete the item and re-ring it. Also beware of their frozen foods— the compressors seem to go out pretty often and I see huge stacks of crates of (thawed) food across the aisle while they try to do repairs. No wonder I’ve come home with stuff that turns out to be moldy inside or tastes sour or weird. I’ve never been brave enough to try to go back for a refund because as many others have noted, the women who work there are deeply unpleasant. I used to treat it as low-key Russian Roulette with groceries but now that I understand that they have been deliberately swindling customers, I’m done with them. If you go, don’t buy anything without a price sticker, check the expiration dates on everything, and watch the register very, very closely.

I usually go to Hanna & Tiger’s but since I was in the area I decided to check the place out. First the price on certain things are ridiculous!!! I bought about 10 things and came up to $200. When I got home I checked everything and some of the things were expired a year ago so be careful shopping here. Didn’t want to make the 35min drive so I ended up throwing 4 things away. I am going to stick with what I know and love from now on.

Lucky is one of the best Asian markets in Miami. I've been coming here for years and have never had a problem with staff or with the products. I noticed many items have a date on them that looks like its expired but it's actually the date of production. Many people might not know this as it's written in Chinese. This is the go-to Asian store for me and my friends as we often cook Asian dishes and love to try new snakcs and they have a much larger variety.
Sam T — Google review
Really nice asian market with lots of personalized(individually wrapped) snacks like individual mochi, red bean cakes from a bakery, etc. It's pretty expensive, but I paid what I expected to pay for the snacks that I got and I am very satisfied because they had everything that I wanted and the flavors/ freshness are what I wanted as well :D Here are some photos, one of some of mine and my friends favorite snacks, another of the ingredients for some udon ramen stuff minus the tofu and mushrooms(I don't think we knew what we were doing, just threw stuff together and it came out delicious), and the photos of the food made with the ingredients. The last photo is of the matcha mochi ice cream and some almond milk matcha tea that we made with my friends latte foamer machine.
Kyo ( — Google review
Make sure you check the expiration dates and take pictures of the prices that are displayed. Insane price gouging and they don't check their stock to throw any expired food. I bought tons of stuff here that were expired and I ate some without knowing if they were expired. I'd go here again if it weren't for the fact that I'm not up for fact checking prices.

TALDE Miami Beach is a vibrant dining destination that showcases the culinary talents of Chef Dale Talde, known for his unique blend of Pan-Asian flavors. Nestled within The Confidante hotel, this trendy eatery features an open kitchen where guests can witness the magic unfold.
We have been to the Talde in Jersey City and it was always one of our favorite places so we checked out the Miami location. While the menu has fewer and different selections, we still found the food to be great. We took the server's recommendation and ordered a item from each of the sections. The portions were more than enough and we took home leftovers. After talking to the manager, we found out that several of the staff came from Jersey City and Brooklyn locations. The interior looks great with some nice Miami inspired touches. The bar area is a great space to relax with a group or just snuggle in a corner with a date. We look forward to going back!

The food was good, but very pricey. Service and ambiance were great. I don't mind paying for a good meal, but this was high for food I probably wouldn't go back for. I wanted to love it because I'm a Top Chef fan, but can't say I did.
Janine B — Google review
So I walked into an open door at 540pm. Two employees or managers were standing on the left side of the bar. I sat down. The only patron. Both employees saw me. And walked away. I sat for 3 more minutes listening to the preshift happening in the background. Finally I look d up the restaurant on its website. Apparently it doesn’t open until 6. So I’m rather shocked that the door is unlocked. The hours are not posted at the door. And two employees couldn’t be bothered to greet me. Good luck!

When I saw the advertisements for the restaurant in the hotel, I couldn't really believe it. Late night Asian noodles? I was sold. I'm a noodle buff, what can I say? The thing that was the clincher, however, was the ambiance of the place. They were blasting out classic hip hop and rap and it was a total flashback on some awesome times in my life. And I was eating noodles. You can't really go wrong with hip hop and noodles. The Beef Ho Fun was amazing. You can't really go wrong with this place.

Used to be my go-to for Happy Hour, but they changed it and did notify regulars in advance or online updating. Completely disappointed with their smaller HH menu. It strip any competitive advantage it might of had against it competition. Bad business move.

I agree with another reviewer: the food was EXTREMELY disappointing!! After reading many good reviews, I decided to go there. We ordered the "CRISPY OYSTER & BACON PAD THAI". I checked with the waiter if they can skip the chili peppers since this order is for a child in the party. The waiter said it will be done. After waiting for 50 minutes for two entries in a pretty empty room, the food was served to our table. The child started to cry and asked for water after the first bite--there were plenty chili peppers in the pad thai and no one was able to see anything in the extremely dark room. We decided to pay and leave but the waiter kindly checked if there was anything wrong with the food and offered to replace the pad thai with one without chili. After another 45 mins waiting, we took the exhausted child back to our room with the packed replacement pad thai. The child was so hungry and started the dinner at 10 pm in the room. Again, he couldn't even take one bite--the replacement pad thai turned out to be the most salty food I have ever tried in the world!!!! How come their chief could mess up such a basic and safe entry twice in a row!!! And yes, they didn't have much business that night but it took a lot of waiting to get any service/ food. Other than that, I also want to comment on the restaurant room. It was super dark (guess any customer can hardly see their food and criticize it for how it looks.) and full of a old greasy smell from the wall, furniture and table cloth. Cannot understand how they got many good reviews.

Crew Stop Asian Groceries is a hidden gem located in West Miami-Dade, sharing a plaza with Lucky Oriental Mart. It offers an extensive selection of Asian groceries, including Indonesian favorites like Indomie noodles and various sambal options. The store also features a small dining area and carries a range of products from deodorant to shampoo. Catering mainly to sea crew from Southeast Asia, the store provides warm and friendly service, making it an ideal spot for those feeling homesick.
Dropped in here a day ago. I believe it caters to mainly sea crew from southeast Asia, so it has goodies for the homesick from Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, etc. Goods are pricey, but understandable to some extent. I got some Indomie and Garuda's Kracang Atom, which I'll be rationing sparely. Warm and friendly service.

BoyChoy is a popular spot known for its quick preparation and pick-up times. Customers rave about the Singapore noodle and Peking duck, which are among the favorites on the menu. While delivery isn't an option, many enjoy ordering from this establishment for its great food, with highlights including the hamachi maki and Peking duck.
Boy Choy is hands down the best food I’ve ever eaten from a takeout/delivery service located inside of the Novikov restaurant!!! The food is always fresh and always cooked to perfection, and the service is so quick!!! Honestly I’d think this was a Michelin grade place and I ate it at home! Natalya was who I spoke with, and she was so helpful and gave me such an incredible and hospitable standard of service when I called for more assistance on what exactly to order and any questions I had. The Japanese/Chinese cuisine was drool worthy. Everything I ordered off the menu was so good I wish I ordered the WHOLE menu!!! Don’t even get me started on the Peking duck!!!! Just truly magnificent and unforgettable. I’d give my left leg to eat it again right now. I LOVE BOY CHOY!!!!!!

Miss Yip Chinese Cafe is a popular spot in South Beach, offering Hong Kong-style cuisine and homemade dim sum. Located in a residential tower, the cafe provides spacious indoor and outdoor dining areas. While some customers have experienced changes in the food quality, others appreciate the complimentary gestures from the staff. The menu includes dishes like General Tso's chicken and dim sum, although some find it to be on the pricier side. Overall, it's known for its unique offerings and accommodating service.
I usually eat here several times a week since I work in this building and they have very quickly, very suddenly gone from very good food to actually pretty poor food. It's like they have changed their recipes over night to something that just doesn't work. I'm a pretty big General Tso's chicken fan and have had this many times one day, less then a week since I had ordered it last, it had changed very drastically from full and favorable to and spicy distinct to... to just some bland chicken with a flavorless, grayish paste around it. I have had this happen my last few times going here and am about ready to give up on it but, because of where I work and where it is, I will try it again every so often and if they seem to manage to pull their original recipes out the trash and start taking some pride in their food again then I'll update this review but, for now, go elsewhere.

They just moved from South Beach to Downtown and it was great Chinese food. In fact the best I have ever had... at least it was. P.S.: Their waiters and waitresses suck. They have every time I have been there but until now, the food was worth it. Just tonight, I walked in the front door, told the girls attending the front register that I would like to sit outside on the back side, walked by 3 employees standing their doing nothing on my way as I saw the restaurant was empty, sat down outside while two other staff were out there talking to one another and then had to wait 10 minutes for someone to see me. As far as I know, someone only came because I finally asked one of the two employees outside if they could ask a waiter or waitress to come over. The waitress who came, she walked away while I was mid sentence to get me a menu. Their service is terrible but acceptable if the food comes back to life here.

Not completely impressed but it was not bad. I usually don't go out of my way to write a review for a so so place however I felt compelled because they gave me a complementary meal after my friend complained that there was a hair in her food. We weren't expecting it, however, they were nice enough to do it and not many places in Miami would do that. Because of that, I'm willing to give it a second chance, at least they know how to treat their costumers.
PB M — Google review
I've never had dim sum before. After a meeting at work, a couple co workers and I ate here. I have to stay, it was good but definitely pricey. Not sure if I would come back, but I guess overall I liked it.
Collen S — Google review
The food at this place is not bad; but my experience at this restaurant was awful especially if taking into account what I paid. The service was not that great, the waitress was not attentive at all; and the prices for what you get are a bit ludicrous.
Kai S — Google review
Food was poorly prepared, slightly overpriced for a chinese restaurant, the bartender scooped ice into the glass using the glass and his hand (big no-no)... I inquired about a woman who was sitting at a table with her dog ON THE TABLE (I'm an animal lover, but having the dog on the table is another big no-no) and they told me that there is nothing they could do because the woman was the owner's mother. The manager/owner (not sure who) was pacing around yelling in another language (not cool) and speaking to employees with no respect whatsoever, although it was obvious that the employee were trying to do their best but the people running the place just simply didnt spend the money or time to set the place up and their employees up to have good and efficient service... Such a nice building, looks like they put a lot into their decor - too bad they didn't put more into the quality of their food, treatment of their employees and service to their customers... I won't be back.
