Park
Nature & Parks
Lummus Park is a vibrant and iconic spot in Miami, offering a mix of beach activities, outdoor fitness options, and family-friendly amenities. The park spans 74 acres and features a beachfront path that showcases South Beach's famous landmarks and architecture. Visitors can enjoy various activities such as swimming, biking, roller skating, and working out with the outdoor gym equipment. Additionally, the park hosts pop-up markets and art shows like Scope Miami Beach.
One of our favorite places in the city! My wife and I come to this park frequently to ride our bikes, walk along the beach, and simply enjoy nature. In the morning, the water is crystal clear — it’s truly beautiful. There are several great restaurants nearby where you can grab a delicious breakfast after your walk or ride. The park is extremely safe, with plenty of lifeguards and police officers around. It really gives you peace of mind, especially if you’re visiting with family. There’s also a bike rental station right by the entrance, which makes it super convenient if you don’t bring your own. We love how clean and well-maintained everything is. It’s the perfect spot to relax, exercise, or spend quality time outdoors. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who enjoys the beach and a peaceful atmosphere.

Our favorite place in Miami. My wife and I walk around this park daily to enjoy the beautiful views of the ocean and sea breeze. The park offers a beautiful beach, palm trees, and Art Deco buildings. They highlight the lively and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for people-watching, biking, jogging, and enjoying the Miami vibes. They also have very clean facilities, outdoor workout stations, and plenty of space for picnics and volleyball. Two public restrooms are available. Extremely clean and well maintained. This is a very good area for a family picnic.

Beach was clean . Soft sand beach . Water was clear and perfect temperature. October off peak so it was not crowded. This was off 10th street. I felt safe . I was not looking at my lounge chairs constantly when I was in the water. I was here about 3hr and 90% of it i was in the water.

Oceanfront Oasis Lummus Park is an iconic beachfront park in South Beach, Miami, stretching along Ocean Drive. It's a fantastic spot with a variety of activities and beautiful scenery. Just a short walk from the beach, the park offers picturesque views of Fisher Island, where you can see the grand cruise ships making their departure from the Port of Miami. It's also a prime location to witness stunning sunsets painting the sky with vibrant colors. Beyond the views, Lummus Park is an excellent place for picnics, parties, and barbecues, thanks to its great facilities and ample space. While direct park parking for these activities might be limited, there are numerous public parking garages and lots nearby on streets like Collins Avenue and Washington Avenue, making it convenient to access. Metered street parking is also available, though it can fill up quickly, especially during peak times. The park itself is lively and offers: * Paved paths perfect for walking, jogging, biking, or rollerblading. * Outdoor gym equipment for fitness enthusiasts. * Playgrounds for kids of various ages. * Volleyball courts for a fun game on the sand. * Public restrooms and showers, making it easy to enjoy a full day at the beach. Lummus Park truly captures the energetic spirit of South Beach, blending natural beauty with urban convenience.
Nicoly M — Google review
This park is situated between the beach and Ocean Drive, allowing you to experience everything during your stroll: by day, you can enjoy the beach and wander through the park, while at night, you can take a charming walk along Ocean Drive, which is beautifully illuminated by the lights of hotels and restaurants. To truly appreciate the lights, it's best to stroll along the park's sidewalk rather than in front of the bars and restaurants. We discovered that the primary purpose of Lummus Park was to extend the beach further from the town to help prevent flooding. It features a lovely green space with walking paths and benches.
Carl G — Google review
I absolutely loved Lummus Park! It’s one of those rare places that feels magical both during the day and at night. During the afternoon, the park is vibrant with palm trees, open spaces, and the stunning Miami Beach backdrop—it’s perfect for relaxing walks, people-watching, or just soaking up the sun. At night, the atmosphere completely transforms. When we visited, there was a concert happening, which added an incredible energy to the place. The lights, the music, and the lively crowd made it feel like the heart of Miami’s nightlife—but still chill and inviting. It’s such a pretty spot whether you want to enjoy some live music or just take a peaceful stroll under the stars. What I really loved about Lummus Park is how it blends nature, beach vibes, and community spirit all in one place. Whether you’re there to unwind, snap amazing photos, or enjoy local events, it has a welcoming and fun vibe that stays with you. Rating: 5/5 – A must-visit spot that’s beautiful, lively, and full of Miami’s charm any time of day or night.
Aashita G — Google review
Working out on the beach has been one of the best experiences for me. The setup with public weights and pull-up bars makes it easy to get a great workout in while enjoying the fresh air and ocean views. The environment is not only comfortable but also very welcoming—everyone around is friendly, motivating and focused on staying active. There’s something special about training in the open air, hearing the waves, and feeling the sun while pushing yourself physically. It’s both energizing and relaxing, and it creates a community-like atmosphere where you can enjoy fitness and good vibes at the same time.

Park
Hobie Island Beach Park, located on Key Biscayne in Miami, is a popular destination known for its pet-friendly atmosphere. Referred to as the "dog beach," it offers easy access by foot, car, or bike and boasts calm waters with stunning views of Miami and breathtaking sunsets. The shallow water makes it ideal for water activities without worrying about strong currents.
Hobie Island Beach Park is a great spot for a relaxed beach day with beautiful views of the Miami skyline. It’s known for its shallow waters, making it perfect for wading and paddle boarding or photo-shoot . The best part? It’s dog-friendly, so you can bring your pup along. Parking is convenient, but it can get busy on weekends. The breeze and scenery make it a solid choice for a quick escape from the city.
Anthony B — Google review
This is a city of Miami Beach and they've renovated this entire beach from the walking trails to the parking lot. It has turned out much better than it was years ago. It's much safer and cleaner now. There's a constant police presence and they've limited the parking which has limited the amount of people. Which is great for the environment and overall enjoyment. If you go to this beach or any other one please take your trash with you and one extra piece this will ensure that you left the area better than when you arrived.
Live F — Google review
Amazing secret gem, opens early. You could go to the beach at 6:30 a.m.… Nice beach, nice water nice sand good vibes. You never know who you’ll run into. Let’s all keep the good energy going and try to keep the beach clean!
Tony D — Google review
Nice beach to take the dog. Very scenic and a great walk. Mary’s Taco’s and Ricky’s Arepas are very good food trucks and there are several of them. Parking can be tough and the water is shallow and filled with seaweed so just ok for swimming. Smaller beach but good enough for sunbathing. I enjoy taking my dog there. The water is good for him to swim in. Calm and shallow.
Kenneth G — Google review
Hobie Island Beach Park offering a peaceful, dog‑friendly coastal escape with views and watersport fun—all a short drive from Brickell and Key Biscayne. Reported drawbacks include occasional water quality issues and early closures, but for dog lovers, nature lovers, and skyline chasers, it hits the sweet spot.
Artem P — Google review
Great park for walking and relaxing. Very scenic views of the Miami skyline. Will definitely be back
Lisel B — Google review
Terrific spot to park and hangout or paddle board. Parking is so close to the water so it’s much less of a pain to inflate and get it over. Also terrific if you have puppers who want to come along.
Aria T — Google review
Absolutely beautiful! Clear calm waters with amazing views of docked boats and city backdrop. You may even catch the occasional wild dolphin swimming nearby 😍 so in love! 2 cons...not much parking come super early and online it says it closes at 9pm but got there by 8 and was being kicked out. Was advised only open sunruse to sunset.

The Historic Virginia Key Beach Park is a refreshing oasis in the heart of Miami, only minutes away from downtown. The park has a variety of recreational activities such as hiking, kayaking, and biking that are perfect for a day out with the family.
Historic beautiful park in the key of miami dade county. You can come here to mountain bike ride through trails. You can barbecue, horse ride, paddle board, kayak, kite board and so many more activities. The park typically isn't over occupied like south beach, entrance is cheap. Slight issue maybe with the water and sewer plant next door with its slight smell if you're next to it.
Luis G — Google review
Enjoyed the day with the children here. I like that there are no big waves. My toddler can enjoy the water as much as anyone else. The sand is flour soft. That can be a great thing. Or you may not like the feel of it under your feet. Make sure to wear some water shoes. Also some spots may have grass and rocks which hides marine animals and dips in the sand. Look for the spots that are clearer, more transparent to the bottom. That means there is no grass or very little grass. They have kayaking and paddle boards for renting. $25 for an hour, single person or $35 for a two person kayak. Parking all depends on the time of day you arrive. Sometimes it can be so packed. We are definitely going back!!!
Lisa R — Google review
Very calm peaceful lots of wildlife I saw raccoon iguanas lots of iguanas the beach had that seaweed all over it but the other part was pretty nice. Looks like they have a nice playground. I did stop at one of the pavilions to look around and picked up 11 large screws. I don’t know if somebody threw them down on purposeor what I backed out of there and turn back around.
Sherri W — Google review
A beautiful state park in FL you can visit. There is a beautiful statue there you can take a picture with / of. It has written scripture on the inside and the natural habitat surrounding it is super beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend coming here and checking it out!! It truly is a historical landmark.
Tiffany B — Google review
A hidden gem just minutes from downtown. Entry is free on foot (although it's quite a walk from the bus stop). I visited midweek and it was almost completely empty. The water was very clear and still, which was perfect for swimming. There was lots of wildlife and plenty of space for exploring.

South Pointe Park Pier is a 450-ft-long pier located at the southern end of Miami Beach. It's a popular spot for fishing, offering viewing stations and fish-cleaning facilities. The park itself provides panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, Port of Miami, and city skyline. Visitors can enjoy various recreational activities such as beach access, lush landscaping, picnic areas, walking trails, water playground, and a boardwalk. Additionally, there's a parking lot available for convenience.
Hands down, one of the most beautiful places I’ve been to in Miami. The view from the pier is absolutely breathtaking—the ocean stretching endlessly, the breeze on your face, and the sunset? Pure magic. It’s the kind of spot that makes you stop, breathe, and just feel present. I could’ve stayed there forever. Even the walk from the beach to the pier felt peaceful and grounding. Everything about this place—from the water to the skyline to the colors of the sky—just felt right. It’s not just a view, it’s a feeling. Calm, stunning, and full of life. Whether you’re there for a stroll, to watch the waves crash, or to just sit and take it all in, South Pointe Park Pier is 100% worth visiting.
Aashita G — Google review
South Pointe Park Pier in Miami is a beautiful and relaxing destination that offers stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, Fisher Island, and the Miami skyline. The pier extends gracefully into the water, making it a perfect spot for fishing, leisurely walks, or simply enjoying the sea breeze. The surrounding South Pointe Park features well-maintained walking paths, green spaces, and shaded areas, ideal for picnics, jogging, or watching the sunset. Families, couples, and photographers alike will appreciate the vibrant atmosphere and the scenic backdrop of cruise ships passing by. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat, a place to connect with nature, or a prime location for capturing iconic Miami views, South Pointe Park Pier delivers a memorable outdoor experience.
Varsha C — Google review
Located at the very eastern end of the park, it’s one of my favorite places within the park. I come here pretty often to spot containers ships and or cruises sailing in or out. You can see them from so close. Also the ocean views are beautiful with the south beach waterfront, it’s just pretty. I recommend it either early or late in the day. For sunrises, it’s just epic.
Frank G — Google review
Very beautiful place. I walked about an hour from my hotel to get here. There is a separate walking + biking lane/road, making it so peaceful and pleasant to walk everywhere.
Moon P — Google review
South Pointe Park Pier is one of those Miami spots that feels both laid-back and beautifully designed. The pier’s lines and flow make it as much a piece of architecture as a place to fish, walk, or just take in the ocean. Go early or around sunset — it’s when the design and the view really come alive.
Iryna K — Google review
A wonderful viewpoint. The southernmost point of Miami. This is where the most famous beach, Miami Beach, begins. A great place to take amazing photos.
Piotr T — Google review
This is a beautiful pier located at the very south of Miami Beach. From here you have a wonderful view of the coast and the water had a staggering teal color. This is definitely a recommended place to visit if you are in Miami and there are few seats that are not fully under the sun where you can fully enjoy your view!
Alessandro B — Google review
A pretty short pier as piers go, but none the less a very modern well-kept pier with beautiful views of the ocean and South Beach Miami. Definitely a beautiful walking area if you are within a mile or so, especially at night.

Gardens
Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a 4-acre urban oasis nestled in the heart of South Beach. It features a diverse collection of native Floridian and tropical plants, including a Japanese garden with traditional lantern pagodas and a striking bamboo collection. Visitors can explore a wetland area, water garden with cascading oolite fountain, and an array of flowering trees, palms, cycads, and orchids. The garden also hosts various events like weekend yoga and meditation sessions.
Absolutely beautiful botanical garden. Completely free!. It is small but the way that the path is laid out, feel a lot bigger and we spent about two hours there I recommend the Free audio tour you can access by scanning the QR code. It was very informative. Seems like a perfect spot for a picnic to take the family for a break from the city.

1st visit: I found this in the South Florida on the Cheap website & since I love flowers🌼🌸🌺🪷, I decided to visit on a Friday afternoon. Other than suffering So Flo’s extreme heat🥵, this quaint little place is awesome! Each garden has a theme. My favorite was the Japanese garden. Albeit they boast a butterfly 🦋 garden, there is no actual butterfly garden, that was a tad bit disappointing. Feeding the Koi’s was more fun than I expected. At the garden cafe, I had the best matcha loaf & lemonade. The gift shop had the most amazing selection on exhibit by local artists. The pieces made with jellybeans & bread were so intriguing. Despite the heat, I had a fabulous and therapeutic visit. I will definitely return to attend one of their Saturday evening classes when it’s cooler.
Martie P — Google review
I visited the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and absolutely loved it! 🌿 Even though it’s right in the middle of South Beach, the moment you walk in it feels calm, quiet, and peaceful. The gardens are beautifully kept with lots of tropical plants, palms, and a lovely Japanese garden. I especially enjoyed the koi pond and little shaded corners where you can just sit and relax. It’s not a huge place, but that’s what makes it special — you can explore everything without feeling rushed. Best of all, admission is free, which makes it a perfect stop whether you want to take photos, enjoy nature, or just escape the noise of the city for a while. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Miami Beach! 🌺

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ From the moment I submitted an inquiry through the Miami Beach Botanical Garden website, the experience was seamless. Within less than an hour, I received a detailed proposal personalized with my name and requested dates. Everything was clearly outlined, from the deposit amount to the terms, which made the process so easy and stress-free. We visited the garden on October 4th, and the lady at the gift shop was incredibly kind and personally walked us over to meet Elaine. Elaine was wonderful, she took her time showing us around the grounds, including the Japanese Garden and beautiful spots for a first look. Her professionalism and warmth made us feel truly welcomed. We loved the space so much that we signed our proposal and submitted our deposit yesterday! We’re beyond excited to have our ceremony here in March 2026. The garden is tranquil, stunning, and filled with natural charm and the level of customer service is as refreshing as the air itself. Highly recommend! 🌸

This lovely little botanical garden situated next to the Miami Beach Convention Center is walking distance from the area hotels. On you way you can see other unique area features. When I was visiting there was a yoga class in one area, a toddlers music class in another, and a peaceful, tranquil walk through the gardens was a great way to start my morning. Unique plants, plenty of places to sit and relax, benches and natural seating as well as tables and chairs. Don't forget to follow the paths around all the nooks and crannies. On the north end you will find the canal. What a nice place to sit and relax. Don't forget to visit the koi pond. They love visitors.

What a hidden gem! The Miami Beach Botanical Garden is off the charts, and the fact that it's a free, donation-based resource in Miami is unheard of. There's literally nothing free in Miami! As a perfect bonus to my visit today, the Bonsai Coffee Truck was parked right in front. They are normally in Miami Shores, so it was a fantastic surprise. The truck itself is adorable and not your average commercial setup. The owners were super friendly, the customer service was great, and the presentation was even better. Most importantly, the coffee was seriously delicious, making it the perfect way to start my walk through the gardens. As for the garden itself, there is so much to check out. It is a resource near city hall that I did not know about until a few months back, and this is me coming to South Florida for over 10 years. It's like an oasis, a little mini-forest right in the heart of Miami Beach. There are so many different cultural items, it's like a whole environment to experience. It was so cool seeing all the different types of plants, and the Japanese garden area was so peaceful. It's wild to think the garden site itself was originally part of a golf course developed by Carl Fisher back in the 1900s. They also offer so many different experiences. You have to check out the program where they teach you about bees, from seeing the hive to tasting the honey. They also have other things like yoga, sound baths, and even bonsai workshops.

A very nice botanical garden, just a short walk from the beach. Very peaceful. The tranquility is helpful to unwind and relax in the fresh air to get away from the hustle and bustle. Free admission.

In the middle of Miami’s blazing summer sun, this garden felt like a true oasis. Cool, peaceful, and beautifully maintained—every plant looked cared for and vibrant. We spotted butterflies, koi fish, and even a gecko! My child had a great time exploring the garden paths and discovering little surprises along the way. It’s a lovely stop for travelers like us—perfect for a relaxing break and a bit of nature in the city.

Just went to the bass museum and it was absolutely amazing! The collection was so diverse, I could have spent hours just looking at all the different pieces. The atmosphere was super chill, which made it even more enjoyable. Definitely a must-visit if you're into art. Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

Like all art, the enjoyment you're going to get out of the museum is subjective. There were a few exhibits and artists I enjoyed but most of it just didn't connect with me, felt too hodgepodge. Also, $15 for 1.5 floors is a bit steep imo. Even going super slowly and reading almost every card, you're done in about an hour.

We received free access to the Bass museum as part of the resort fee amenities for our stay at the W hotel. The museum is a gem, and has multiple different exhibits, all with beautiful and highly original art. Definitely recommend a visit!

The Bass Museum is located just a short walk from the beach in South Beach, making it an easy and enjoyable stop if you’re exploring the area. It’s a modern museum featuring contemporary art, with spacious, bright galleries and rotating exhibitions that keep things fresh and interesting. The museum isn’t particularly large, but it offers a great experience overall. There are certain days when admission is free, which makes it an even better deal. The gift shop is also really cool — definitely worth checking out before you leave. I’d highly recommend The Bass to art lovers or anyone looking for a great indoor activity on a rainy day in Miami.

Unique museum exhibiting art and South Beach at its best. Really worth visiting on a lazy summer day. Outdoor concerts in summer. Best place to park is Collins Parking Garage, 340 23rd street, right across from the Museum.

I had such a great time visiting The Bass during my trip to Miami Beach. The building itself is stunning — the Art Deco design immediately caught my eye before I even stepped inside. The galleries are beautifully laid out, and I loved how the museum mixes historic works with bold, modern pieces. One of the highlights for me was seeing the contemporary art installations. They were creative, thought-provoking, and honestly made me see things in a new way. The museum isn’t huge, which I actually liked — it felt easy to explore without being overwhelming. I also really appreciated the staff. Everyone was friendly and willing to answer questions, and they even gave me tips about upcoming events and family days. I ended my visit in the museum shop, which had some unique art-inspired gifts you don’t find anywhere else. If you’re in Miami Beach and want a break from the typical tourist spots, The Bass is definitely worth a visit. It’s inspiring, welcoming, and gives you a deeper sense of the city’s culture.

It's a very cool small museum. I loved the combination of modern and classic art. Also, the pieces by Ulla von Brandenburg and Rachel Feinstein were interesting. The superb atmosphere felt like a huge invitation to see and experience the different pieces. The staff was very friendly and actively asked if we had questions.

I'm no art critic but I'm happy I got there on a Free admission day. Not kids friendly! Just by having a room where kids draw and fold papers, does not make the place kids friendly. They should put an advisement that partial and "artistic" nudity is visible!

I'm so glad we discovered North Beach Oceanside Park in Miami, FL! This beautiful beach is an oasis that's perfect for locals looking to escape the crowds of tourists. The beach itself is clean and the perfect place to simply relax. Plus, with lifeguards on duty, you can feel safe while enjoying the ocean. And if you're looking to make a day of it, the park also offers barbecue areas and gazebos in the park area behind the beach– perfect for a family picnic or gathering with friends. This place is a true gem that's flown under the radar!

Vacant and expansive (wide and clean). One of few people we saw was the life guard in the tower. It was a dark and rainy day. Not a good day for the beach. Still a nice walk through the park.

Steps away from the boardwalk and oceanfront. This is a clean and well shaded public park space. There are plenty of picnic tables and benches to use. Bathroom facilities with outdoor shower units. There's a kids' playground also.

Much better than south beach for the whole family. Quiet and less crowded when I was here last week and has several bbq grills and showers. My boys loved this beach.

Nice park for beach volleyball and pretty beach for lounging, swimming and kite surfing. Was not busy when I was there mid afternoon on Saturday. Otherwise I would have scored higher. Served by Collin’s Ave trolley.

From the very young to one of the senior matriarchs, we all enjoyed the new design of the Beach and board walk. We gave already decided to cone back to this family oriented park. There were plenty of families out there and everyone was very kind to one another. The water Beach was clean!! Kudos to the maintenance staff for keeping the grounds clean.

North Shore Open Space Park was originally established in the 1950s when the city purchased and demolished a series of dilapidated villas on the site. It is one of Miami's largest parks, and it runs from 78th Street to 87th Terrace. Over the years, the 28 acre site was left to nature. In 2017 the city approved a 6 million dollar renovation of the park with Calvin, Giordarno & Associates as the project manager and West 8 heading the re-design. The renovation strived to preserve the parks plants, including large palm trees and sea grapes and the parks natural dune ecosystem which protects the park from rising sea levels. The goal was to improve the beauty and functionality of the park. Today you can enjoy enjoy beach access with lifeguards on duty and plenty of room to spread out as you soak up the sun. North Shore Open Space Park also has a outdoor showers, restroom, dog park, picnic tables and grills, sand volley ball court, three pavilions for picnics with grills which can be rented, swings and a play area, and trails with an outdoor fitness challenge course with self-powered workout stations. Parking can be found in the municipal lot across the street on 83rd street and along Harding Ave. I really enjoyed walking the trails in the the park and it is a lot quieter than nearby South Beach which you can reach via an paved 8 mile bike trail.

Seafood restaurant
Joe's Stone Crab is a bustling and cavernous restaurant in Miami that has been serving delicious seafood for over a century. The place is famous for its stone crabs, which have become a local delicacy and a must-try for seafood enthusiasts visiting the city. The New England clam chowder and Old Bay fries are also highly recommended. While some find the seasoning to be on the milder side, the attentive service from tuxedo-wearing waiters adds to the overall dining experience.
I saw on Reddit that this spot is a must-visit in Miami, so we decided to check it out. The fried chicken was a standout deal, four pieces for about $8, and it was crispy, fresh, and free of any off taste, even if it wasn’t heavily seasoned. The real star was the clam chowder, easily the best I’ve ever had. The hash browns were amazing, the Cobb salad was fresh and flavorful, and the key lime pie was delicious. The only letdown was the spinach, which was pretty mediocre. Overall, this place absolutely nails its food and delivers one memorable dish after another.

113 years and going as strong as ever. Two hour wait at 7:00pm, so MAKE reservations in advance! Super large bar perfect for a drink before. Bread service included and delicious. Star of the show of course is stone crabs. $134.99 for 3 jumbos and you would have thought they were free based on how many they serve each night. So good. And they still offer the half fried chicken now $8.95, was $7.95. Best and could come here just for this and house made fries. Shrimp cocktail only disappointment, medium sized and lousy presentation. Hash browns are divine as the chopped salad. And you can’t come to Joe’s without ordering key lime pie. Service excellent and wine list decent priced. Overall, one of the top grossing restaurants in the world and still one of the best.

From start to finish, everything about this meal was outstanding. The stone crab was unbelievably fresh and perfectly chilled — sweet, tender, and full of flavor. The fried chicken was golden, crispy, and juicy inside — comfort food taken to the next level. The crab cakes were packed with lump crabmeat and just the right amount of seasoning, no fillers in sight! The sides deserve their own applause: the cream of spinach was rich and velvety, the lobster mac and cheese decadent and cheesy with generous chunks of lobster, and the oysters were fresh, briny, and beautifully presented. Every bite tasted like it came straight from the ocean. And let’s not forget the drinks — creative, balanced, and expertly crafted. Each cocktail complemented the meal perfectly and showed real attention to detail. From the attentive service to the incredible food, this place hits every mark. If you’re looking for a spot that combines top-notch seafood, comfort classics, and impeccable hospitality while in Miami this restaurant is a must-visit. There is a dress code, so call to verify before visiting.

I finally decided to try Joe’s Stone Crab, since it’s such a well-known and talked-about spot. I ordered through DoorDash, and while I understand delivery can sometimes affect food quality, I still expected a bit more consistency from such a popular restaurant. The stone crabs were a bit disappointing — they didn’t taste as fresh as I’d hoped and had a stronger crab smell than expected. Maybe the dine-in experience is better, but I do think takeout customers deserve the same quality. On a brighter note, the fried chicken had a great crust and texture, though it could’ve used more seasoning for flavor. The salad was beautifully presented and fresh, and the soups were solid. The mac & cheese was just okay — I suspect the lobster version might be the better choice next time. It needs to be alittle more creamier. Dessert was satisfying and helped end the meal on a positive note. My biggest issue was with customer service. I called ahead to request extra dressings, and the person on the phone assured me it would be taken care of. Unfortunately, none were included in my order. It’s frustrating when restaurants promise something and don’t follow through, especially when you’re already paying a premium for delivery. Overall, Joe’s Stone Crab is decent but not exceptional. There are definitely some good items on the menu, but between the inconsistency in food quality and the slip in customer service, it didn’t quite live up to the hype for me. Their mustard sauce for the crabs is amazing though

We went on a weekend evening around 6 and got seated immediately. We ordered the seafood tower ($184) and a key lime margarita and some chips and a slice of the key lime pie. We really loved the margarita. The portion for the seafood tower was generous but it’s not worth the price. The service was good though.

Came here based on reputation and reviews alone, and fell in love with the food. The crab bisque and crab cakes were honestly the best we've ever had, even across many fine establishments across the world. The stone crabs did not disappoint either - they were firm, fresh and sweet. Finally, the key lime pie also lived up to its reputation, tart, not overly sweet, with a satisfyingly crumbly base. Loved the old school atmosphere with our wonderful and gentlemanly server. Would 💯 return on every visit to Miami!

Even before arriving in Miami, we knew we had to eat here. We arrived on a Sunday around 7:00 PM without a reservation. We waited over an hour and a half for a table, which they immediately warned us about. Let me just say: it was worth it! Everything was delicious. The Stone Crab Bisque deserves a special mention, as do the Stone Crab Claws themselves. The oysters and lobster tail were excellent. The hamburger was also delicious. The pre-dinner cocktails and wine with dinner were good, and the Key Lime Pie was delicious to end the feast. On top of all that, the service was top-notch, from the maître d'hôtel, to the bartenders, and our waiter. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Miami!

This place is a mecca in Miami...a 'must do...consistently fresh stone crabs that are superior to every other place in Miami. The other seafood like the Salmon is also phenomenal. Plus there Fried green tomatoes are some of the best l've ever had... and hands down the best fried chicken I’ve ever had!! I've been a fan of Joe's Stone Crabs for years, Joe's Take-Away - their wonderful cafe it's perfect if you don't want to wait for the main restaurant... The take away is large with beautiful glass displays Where you can pick many of joe's specialties - especially their perfect stone crab claws, at a terrific price. You can buy wine & champagne by the bottle at retail, then sit at varnished wood tables and enjoy high end seafood - especially the stone crabs at a more affordable, relaxed price and atmosphere. It provides a chance for a quick high quality meal, complete with people to clear the tables. This is where you need to go to get stone crabs in Miami! 100% recommend!

The Holocaust Memorial Miami Beach serves as a profound tribute to the millions of Jewish lives lost during World War II. Designed by artist-architect Kenneth Treister, this outdoor museum features an impressive array of over 100 sculptures, with the centerpiece being the Sculpture of Love and Anguish—a striking bronze arm reaching skyward, symbolizing both despair and hope.
Harrowing. Poignant. Ominous. Reverent. These are words that may describe the feelings you get when you step foot on a truly magnificent display of a time where anything but was prevalent. In honoring the many lives lost during the Holocaust, this paradigmatic memorial does a great job displaying emotion of horrors that were the reality to many unfortunate souls. There is a wall with the names of the people that were snuffed out of existence by some of the most inhumane ways an individual should never have to succumb to. The extended arm sculpture in the middle of the memorial's path, surrounded by very still dark water. It is melded from forearm to wrist with an amazing attention to detail as well as undefined fear and sorrow to end with an out stretched hand, grasping for what is not there. There is a back walkway that depicts some truly sobering moments of life in a kill camp and the hopelessness that still did not break the strong will of the ones sent there. This is a place you should definitely stop by and check out, regardless of what denomination you are. I feel like this is a hidden gem of south beach that hides in plain sight. With all the business of day to day, take a moment to walk through here and see what 'being worked to death' really was like.

I went on a weekday to view this memorial, so I was the only one walking through it for awhile. The realism of the statues had me captivated. It's free to the public. You can walk right in. No tickets needed.

Amazing sculpture full of emotion and depth. Very intricate and detailed.

Very emotional. The site will have a positive impact on some and a negative on others depending on how they perceive the main artwork. There are hundreds of panels with names of victims.
Rob W — Google review
Free to public. Docent was very knowledgeable and informative. You can get to it from botanical gardens. The corner it is on "hides" the hand so you cannot see it on the corner due to the new building expansion of the holocaust memorial construction. Very powerful emotional artistic piece if you are ready to take it in.
Munkee B — Google review
With respect and admiration, it's a reminder of so many lost and missing lives. Seeing photos of the ordeal these souls endured is a tribute of light and a place where we can reflect. This is a must-see if you're in Miami Beach. The monument is near the Convention Center.
Gilma G — Google review
A beautifully and thoughtfully designed and created memorial to the millions of victims of the Holocaust. It's important to preserve the evidence, and record and pass on the accounts of witnesses in the face of antisemitism rearing its grotesque head on an alarming scale yet again, and with the relentless campaign to erase historical fact and replace it with lies. God bless Israel! Entrance was free. Strongly recommended for everyone.
L S — Google review
Very impressive place. Conveys the history and tragedy in a short recap and pictures. The name wall is very moving and the addition of the October 7 massacre casualties adds to the emotional experience.

Beautiful beach, this is my 3rd time coming here. Nice clean sand. Beautiful coconut trees. We went snorkeling off the beach in the grass beds and saw lots of fish. My daughters found big conch shells and a sea urchin shell. You can order food and rent beach chairs with umbrellas but there’s lots of nice spots in the shade. We went at low tide so there was lots of seaweed and it was a bit smelly. But the water was clear and we had a nice time watching the pelicans diving for fish. Nice clean bathrooms and an outdoor shower to rinse off the sand.

My favorite beach in Miami so far. So much space and not crowded whatsoever. The parking lot is ticketed so be sure to pay on the app before you walk to the beach. Super easy to get to from Brickell / Downtown. Mostly locals and chill vibes. There is some seaweed and the water is not perfectly clear, but the water is warm and still enjoyable. If you want to hit a bar on the way home on a weekday, check The Wetlab at UMiami’s marine biology campus on the way back from Key Biscayne. Even on weekends, there are a lot of places to post up. If you don’t want to (pay for/bring) an umbrella, there are trees with shady spots.

beautiful, clean, safe park and beach. I love this place. I snorkel on the seagrass beds a lot and there are always many fish to see, including small colorful reef fish. plenty of parking, $11 for a whole day ($8 per day weekdays). huge picnic area with trees, promenade, wide white sand beach with palm trees, snack bar, watercraft rentals. Paths around a small park that used to be a zoo, lots of wild birds and reptiles there now. bike lanes all the way there from the mainland. several miles of walking paths through a hammock forest and to a boardwalk overlooking the bay.

The beaches here are absolutely beautiful — clean, spacious, and perfect for swimming or just soaking up the sun. One of the best parts is how easy it is to park. There's plenty of parking available for just $10 a day, which you can conveniently pay through a phone app or at the park office (if you can find it — signage could be better). The park also has lots of designated areas for cookouts, making it a great spot for family gatherings or casual barbecues with friends.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Miami Beach, 1 Hotel South Beach is a luxurious retreat that seamlessly blends eco-conscious design with tropical elegance. Guests can indulge in spacious accommodations, some featuring kitchens and all boasting stunning views. The hotel’s standout feature is its expansive rooftop pool, complemented by 600 feet of pristine beachfront where guests can enjoy full beach services.
Absolutely exceptional — hands down the best hotel in South Beach I’ve stayed at several hotels in South Beach over the years, and this one is on a completely different level. Total class, zero hassle. Where other places have weird rules or annoying logistics, here everything is just seamless — pure bliss from check-in to check-out. The hotel itself is stunning: modern architecture, beautiful rooms, four incredible pools, and a beachfront BBQ / tiki area that feels like its own little paradise. Every single staff member we interacted with was eager to make our stay amazing — the hospitality was honestly the best I’ve ever experienced. The food and drinks are gourmet-level without being pretentious. It was my birthday during our stay, and they surprised me with a cake and a bottle of champagne — one of those small gestures that just means everything when you travel a lot and hardly see that kind of thoughtfulness anymore. We came in thinking we’d try different hotels each trip to Miami, but after this experience? No chance. We’re absolutely coming back here every time. If you’re on the fence — don’t be. This is the spot

The hotel is modern, elegant, and located in a very convenient area. The rooms are spacious, bright, and beautifully furnished, which makes the stay comfortable and relaxing. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere feels calm and well organized. The only thing I didn’t love is that the ceilings in the rooms are a bit low, which slightly reduces the sense of space, but overall the rooms themselves are large and pleasant. Everything is clean and well maintained, and the common areas look stylish. It’s a great place for a comfortable stay in the city.

Our third stay at 1 Hotel was as magical as ever! The decor, ambiance, and vibrant energy never fail to captivate. The staff is incredibly engaged, and the spaces—multiple pools, the beach, and the rooftop dining and rooftop pool—are pure perfection for unwinding. We tried the Bamford Spa this time, and the de-stress massage was perfect. A check-in hiccup for our group was swiftly handled by Clare, the Guest Experience Manager, who went above and beyond to resolve it—her efforts have us already planning next year’s trip! To all travelers, this place is a must-visit; the features are endless, and the gym? Absolutely EPIC. I’ve traveled the world, and nowhere comes close to the fitness dedication travelers here. I’m already missing 1 Hotel, and I haven’t even boarded my flight. Thank you for an unforgettable stay—can’t wait to return!

We enjoyed our stay at the 1 Hotel in South Beach. The rooms were very nice and fresh and luckily, we had a balcony with a nice ocean view. I will definitely say that this is a very large hotel with a large layout and some of the common areas need a refresh as they are approaching high usage. That being said, we really enjoyed the view from the room as well as the cleanliness of the room. The bed was very comfortable. The food at the rooftop bar was quite nice. I will also say the service at this hotel was exceptional. The only reason I could not put five stars is because it was just too many people.

We absolutely loved our stay at 1 Hotel South Beach! We celebrated my 40th birthday here and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. The atmosphere is stunning, elegant, relaxed, and full of great energy. The rooms are beautifully designed, the views are breathtaking, and the whole place just feels effortlessly luxurious. The staff went above and beyond to make everything special for us, and every detail from the service to the food was spot on. It’s the perfect mix of sophistication and comfort, truly a slice of paradise in Miami. Can’t wait to come back!

Read the negative reviews first - and believe them just believe them. Now this review is not for you if you are one of their privileged top jet setting clientele who spends thousands there periodically. This is for you, the regular travler who happens to enjoy a little luxury from time to time and appreciates the finer things and is ready to pay for it. If that's you take it from me stay away from this hotel. They are pretentious and disingenuous to normal hardworking people. God forbid if you happen to not be the right shade or stinkingly rich then oh well. My ordeal goes like this. I regret picking this hotel from a list that was provided to me for a conference. I was given a room on the 4th floor. From the moment I stepped off the elevator on the 4th floor, there was a horrible, sewer-like smell in the hallway. It was so strong it made the stay immediately unpleasant. My assigned room had terrible views and felt completely unworthy of the price I paid. When I tried to resolve the room issue, the hotel offered a credit to use on property. However, they overcharged me for supposedly “qualified” spending”, making the attempted resolution completely unsatisfactory. It felt more like a cover-up than genuine customer care. Also everywhere you turn you are overcharged smh. They now add a 20% tip to the bill in Miami. Extortion at it's peak and in exchange for what? Only bad service and entitled employees. Never again.

If you're on the fence on staying here, do yourself a favor and book it! Just left from our stay here at the Loews Miami hotel and I couldn't say enough good things about it. This was our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. This hotel simply has it all - amazing location steps away from the beach and only a short 10 min walk to the strip on oceans. One of the most beautiful resorts with amazing amenities. Wonderful gym, beautiful pool, nice lobby with a lounge area and restaurants. Rooms are beautiful. Bed is so comfortable. Very spacious with nice bathroom. Our room was cleaned daily and stocked with fresh towels. The best part about our whole stay was the customer service that all the workers offered to their guests. Lowe’s Hotel has got to be the perfect place for vacay in Miami.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I wish I could give this place a million likes!!!! Spent Wednesday to Sunday and I was not disappointed whatsoever. Let me first start out by saying the staff provided impeccable service. I was able to stay in one of the renovated rooms and it was just perfect, the bed super comfy, the bathroom had these large shower heads that gives you the best water pressure and they also had Large flat screen tv. The service at poolside is amazing, lunch and drinks came out right away. I was able to walk to Ocean drive and sight see the nightlife it was about 6-8 blocks away from the hotel so wear comfy shoes. The beach is super beautiful with clear water, no sharks or jellyfish seen. The beach is within close proximity to the pool area and the Lowe’s staff there was also great. What I love mostly about this hotel even after check out I found out last minute of several delays so my flight didn’t leave until the evening and I was able to enjoy the amenities after check out for free. I dropped my bags with the Consierge and made my way back to the pool and enjoy the sun all over again. Also, there are private showers and bathrooms near the pool area where you can use prior to exiting the establishment. I highly recommend to all my family and friends.

We stayed at the Loews for a girls’ weekend and absolutely loved it! The location is unbeatable—right on the beach and close to everything in South Beach. The vibe was fun and relaxed, perfect for days by the pool and nights out. The staff were wonderful, super friendly and always happy to help. The rooms are beautifully renovated—modern, bright, and super comfortable. The only downside was the ongoing construction, which meant some noise between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. that you can hear from your room. Still, the overall experience was amazing

I really enjoyed my stay at the Loews Hotel! Everyone was so friendly, and I loved that it’s both kid- and pet-friendly — definitely a big plus. We were greeted with smiles, understanding, and patience throughout our visit. At one point, I misplaced my room key, and the front desk staff was incredibly helpful and quickly provided a replacement without any hassle.

I expected so much better service from this hotel and it's staff. The only saving grace is the location. First, valet service: expensive and very rude attendants. Second: service at the bar was almost non existent. I almost wish I could have made the drinks myself. Third: pool area: very small pool relative to the size of the location. On the plus side, there is an easy beach access. Final downside: I had to wait 20 minutes on valet to bring my car. When brought the car, I was standing 15 feet in front. I waved him to come over since we had kids in our group Valet would not move up. Just an incredibly bad experience. I suggest you go elsewhere. This place and it's staff do not care about customer service.

The Loews is beautiful and welcoming. The entire staff are a class act; so professional! Our room was gorgeous with incredible beach views. If 10 stars were an option that's what Loews would get from me. We will be back 💫✨️🌟

The Loews Miami is back! We have been coming here for over seven years every October for a conference on plastic surgery. The hotel used to be rundown and terrible. As one of the organizers of the conference, we thought of looking for another place to hold our meeting. Luckily, the hotel decided to make a major Renovation at the Reception and in the rooms, corridors, etc. It was long overdue, but it was worth it. The hotel management is also so much better, from a nice reception at the checking in, to sending a beautiful cheese and fruit plate to the room, to providing a support line for customer service

South Pointe Beach is located at the southern tip of Miami Beach and offers a variety of amenities for visitors. The 17-acre park features a fishing pier with convenient facilities for anglers, as well as picnic areas, a playground with water features, and lush greenery. While dogs are not allowed on the beach, there is a bark park nearby for furry companions. The area is known for its cleanliness and safety, with security patrolling the beach regularly.
Beautiful and happy place to expend time with family. Lovely sunset, music, and restaurants, or you can bring your own food and drinks and have a picnic. Finding a parking spot could be a challenge at all seasons

Lovely beach but Parking was a headache and was expensive but after searching for about an hour (it was a busy weekend) we asked the valet at the beach parking to pay $30 and they had a spot for us. Washrooms were PATHETIC!!
Mitali J — Google review
Amazing spot to go with the family or alone if you need a brake frok your daily life. As others have stated, parking is challenging, especially on weekends or when the weather is nice and warm, which is 90% of the time in Miami.

South Pointe Beach was a beautiful surprise. We went without much planning, just looking to disconnect a bit, and found a place full of calm, nature, and incredible views. There are green areas, paths for walking or biking, and a pier that’s perfect for sitting down to chat or just watching the ocean. Everything was very clean, and the atmosphere felt safe and relaxed. Parking can be a bit tricky, especially on weekends or in the afternoon, so I recommend parking a couple of blocks before reaching the park and walking in—it’s totally worth it. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the sunset, have a picnic, or simply spend a peaceful time with your partner or friends. I’d definitely come back!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Art Deco Historic District – Miami Beach’s Timeless Gem The Art Deco District in Miami Beach is absolutely stunning! It’s one of the most unique and beautiful areas I’ve ever visited. Every building tells a story — with pastel colors, geometric shapes, and elegant details that capture the spirit of Miami’s golden era. The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxing. You can stroll along Ocean Drive, enjoy the palm-lined streets, and admire the perfectly preserved 1930s architecture that makes this area world-famous. It’s truly a photographer’s dream and a must-see for anyone visiting Miami Beach. If you love design, history, or just the feeling of classic Miami charm, the Art Deco District is the perfect place to explore. A beautiful reminder that style and history never go out of fashion.

Española Way is a delightful pedestrian area located in Miami Beach, featuring stunning Spanish colonial architecture and Mediterranean Revival style. This picturesque village offers open-air streets lined with charming restaurants and cafes, perfect for leisurely strolls, people-watching, or enjoying a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The area's romantic ambiance is enhanced by twinkling cafe lights at night.
Love this couple of blocks of restaurants with a mediterranean motif (Spanish, French, Italian, etc.) and outdoor cafes. You can take a free trolley ride or inexpensive bus ride down Washington Ave. to get there easily.

Española Way is a pedestrian-only street located in Miami Beach. A 'historic Spanish village' designed to resemble the romantic Mediterranean villages of Spain and France. Take time to admire the buildings. Home to more than a dozen restaurants and sidewalk cafes, Española Way is always buzzing at night. Very pretty but it can be loud and touristy. Nice place for people-watching. I have eaten at a few restaurants there and never had a bad meal.

Authentic, flavorful, and beautifully presented — every bite was a taste of Spain. But what truly made our night unforgettable was the outstanding service. And a huge shoutout to Sergio, the manager, whose passion and leadership shine through in every detail. Museums
Nestled on a charming island between downtown Miami and the vibrant South Beach, the Miami Children's Museum is a $25 million wonderland designed specifically for young explorers. This engaging complex features an array of hands-on exhibits that captivate children's imaginations while providing valuable learning experiences. From a giant piggy bank that introduces financial literacy to the enchanting Castle of Dreams—a two-story sand castle complete with a winding slide—there's no shortage of fun here.
The Miami Children’s Museum is an amazing place for kids! It’s not only super fun with tons of hands-on exhibits, but also very educational. Each area is designed to spark creativity and curiosity, making learning feel like play. A great bonus — you can get free tickets through the local library, which makes it an even better experience for families. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something fun, engaging, and affordable to do with the kids!

Exceptional experience once again! This was our third visit with our daughter and her cousins, and we continue to be impressed. The only suggestion I would have is to update or replace some of the toys that are showing signs of wear and tear. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we look forward to many more visits!

The Miami Children’s Museum is absolutely amazing! It’s one of the best places to bring kids in South Florida. Every exhibit is interactive, colorful, and educational — from the music and art rooms to the pretend grocery store, fire truck, cruise ship, and construction zone. It’s all designed to spark creativity and curiosity. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the museum is always clean and well-maintained. We spent hours here and still didn’t get to everything. If you’re looking for a fun, safe, and enriching experience for your children, this place is a must-visit!

I came to the children’s museum and I thought it was a great place for children. I absolutely love how the children can pretend to be firefighters, doctor, veterinarian and even grocery shop. I love seeing local partners inside the museum such as Publix, Jackson Health System, Baptist and Carnival. The Peanuts exhibit was very reminiscing from our childhood. I also absolutely enjoyed the Peanuts show where they read some books in a very animated way. They kept the children’s attention throughout the whole show. They also have a musical garden and playground outside that are fun. If you have kids, this is the place to be as they have a lot of interactive exhibits and activities.

Took my kids to the children’s museum and we had a blast. Everything’s super hands-on and it’s all set up so kids can explore without you hovering every second. The staff was upbeat and helpful, and the space felt clean and well-organized even with a weekend crowd. Loved the mix of activities for different ages; my little one was happy in the toddler area while the older kids tinkered with the STEM exhibits. We ended up staying way longer than planned and still didn’t see it all. Highly recommended for parents!

Nestled in the heart of South Beach's Art Deco Historic District, The Wolfsonian-Florida International University stands as a captivating museum and research center within a stunning 1920s Mediterranean Revival building. This eclectic venue showcases an impressive collection of over 200,000 artifacts that span from 1850 to 1950, highlighting the profound influence of art and design on global history.
If you are into Art Deco and who isn't in Miami, then this is definitely a place that you would enjoy. It takes anywhere from 1-2 hours to view, depending on your interests. The Wolfsonian building is located in the middle of South Beach and is not easily noticed when you are driving by it but when you enter, you see how large it actually is. There are 7 floors. The elevator takes you to each floor. The top floor is currently under construction to add insulation. The 3rd floor is the library and it was closed the day we went. You need an appointment to see it, which we didnt know. The first floor has the lovely gift shop and the coffee bar. Admission is free to all Florida residents. You are free to do your own self guided tour. Art lovers and artists have been very positive about the unique collection of the art deco and other collectibles from the early 1900s to the 1940s, including exhibits on the Industrial Revolution, the Great Depression, and World War I. It also says a lot about Wolfsonian that the staff are friendly and helpful in pointing out the well-curated exhibits, and the charming gift shop and cafe. We were very impressed with the art collections and the way they were presented. This is a worthwhile museum to visit.

it was ok, we had limited floors we can go to: 6, 5 &3 it was fine. the elevator, though, was nicely designed and unique. also the entrance was impressive.

A really interesting museum. The owner collects pieces he wants to conserve from his travels across the world. The owner saves things from being demolished or thrown away and puts them in this museum. It's fascinating to see these pieces of history that would otherwise be discarded. The guide was very knowledgeable and interesting.
Silvia — Google review
7 floors, currently 2 floors are for exhibits and the third is being installed. First floor is a really nice, large gift shop and coffee shop that also serves alcoholic drinks. While the exhibits are smaller than I thought, they had quality themes and items! I also love the whole architecture of the building, outside and in. Would love to come back to one of their special events.
S C — Google review
Free admission for Florida residents. Plan to spend a little more than an hour. 2.5 floors full of art pieces. Plenty of rare pieces from the early 1900’s to the 1940’s, history covers the Industrial Revolution, Great Depression, WWI and more. Gift shop has too many great items for purchase.
B M — Google review
Metered parking just steps away from this free museum. Do watch the meter (set your phone, they do ticket in Miami). Tucked into the heart of South Beach, the Wolfsonian–FIU Museum is a gem of a cultural experience that blends history, design, and whimsy in all the best ways. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported—not just to a different place, but to different eras, worldviews, and artistic sensibilities. The World’s Fair exhibit is a standout. It’s a rare opportunity to explore the ambitious dreams of cities past, showcasing innovations, architecture, and design that once captured the world’s imagination. With artifacts ranging from dazzling city plans to nostalgic Disney ephemera and archival videos, it’s a beautiful throwback to a time when progress and fantasy went hand-in-hand. Equally compelling are the Clarke stained glass pieces - beautiful and elaborate it’s rumored to have caused the death of this Irish man—working with the minerals and pigments could have caused lead poisoning. There is a sign that tells you all about it. Another highlight is the Dust Bowl exhibit, which thoughtfully contextualizes one of America’s most difficult periods. Featuring classic films and poignant displays, it brings the desperation, resilience, and cultural memory of the 1930s into vivid focus. And don’t miss the gift shop, which feels more like a curated boutique than a museum store. Sip on a great cup of coffee while browsing through a clever selection of hysterical cards, striking necklaces, unique earrings, and design-centric books and objects. It’s the kind of place where you’ll want to linger long after your museum visit ends. All in all, the Wolfsonian is a must-visit—smart, surprising, stylish, and a bit irreverent. A refreshing cultural stop in the middle of the South Beach buzz.

This is a great museum, in a beautiful building with well arranged internal spaces, especially the ground floor that hosts a former theater façade turned into a fountain. The museum shop and café, although small, is also very nice. Admission is just $5 per adult. However, I was slightly disappointed in my visit at how short the exhibitions were. I came back to this place after 13 years, and I was sad I couldn't see many of the collections of propaganda posters I remember.

The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU, located just a short stroll away from the lively South Beach, offers a unique perspective on the local culture by delving into the stories of Jewish immigrants and their influence on shaping modern Miami and Florida. Housed in two former synagogues and part of Florida International University, this museum boasts an extensive collection of over 100,000 items that document more than 250 years of Florida's Jewish history and culture.
During my recent visit to the Jewish Museum of Florida, I was pleasantly surprised by the depth and richness of the exhibits, which offer a comprehensive look into the Jewish community and their significant influence in shaping Miami. One of the most enlightening aspects of my visit was learning about the percentage of Jewish people in Miami and their cultural impact on the city. A highlight of my experience was interacting with Howard, a staff member who passionately described Miami’s history and architecture, with a particular focus on the Jewish community. Howard’s knowledge and enthusiasm significantly enhanced my visit, making the museum not just an educational experience but also a personal journey through the city’s Jewish heritage. While the museum does an excellent job of presenting historical and cultural information, I believe there’s room for improvement. Adding more sculptures and interactive elements could enrich the experience, offering a more dynamic and engaging way to connect with the exhibits.

The Art Deco Museum, located in Miami Beach, is a celebration of the city's world-class designs and architectural styles. The museum hosts the annual Art Deco Weekend, a three-day festival featuring live music, an artisan marketplace, classic car show, guided tours, antique displays, films and family-friendly events. This event attracts around 150,000 people each year and showcases the cultural significance of Miami's architectural district.

Visiting this museum greatly allowed me to appreciate the art and design of the Art Deco district, whose designer wanted the city to resemble a "pastel party cake", but also better understand How history (especially related to wars) has influenced architecture. However, if you can't afford it, there are signs near Lummus Park that also provide some information. A beautiful, short and quick museum, allowing you to take a break in the air conditioning to better enjoy the neighborhood.

The World Erotic Art Museum (WEAM) in Miami Beach is a unique and sizable museum that showcases over 4,000 pieces of fine erotic art dating back to 300 BC. Established in 2005 by art collector Naomi Wilzig, the museum offers a comprehensive exploration of human sexuality through various cultures and artistic styles such as surrealism, realism, and art deco.
This place was very interesting and not what I was really expecting at all. Not to spoil anything, so please stop reading here if you're going soon, but I was assuming the entire exhibit was like what it is in the beginning of the walk through, and it most certainly is not. It was like cool little pictures on the wall drawn by artists, a large xxx sculpture, and some stories. It gets more x rated as you go in past these. Definitely interesting and worth a visit!

We were very excited to check this museum. The website and Google said it was open 1-9pm. So Tuesday we attempted to go at 7pm and found a locked door. Really cool collection! The front desk employee was super helpful and thorough.. There were three different collections when we visited. They seemed rather random in relation to each other but all were really interesting and we definitely enjoyed the experience. One of my favorite pieces was the phallic sculpture that was in A Clockwork Orange film! The only off putting thing was that there was a private security room upstairs in the midst of the collections. An employee in the room was blasting music extremely loud and also singing along with it super loud and crazy. It was pretty strange and did interfere with the atmosphere of enjoying the collections. The price of admission is $20/person, which I feel is a little steep for the type of collections they had. But I do understand that museums are not huge money makers and I'm sure they are even more challenged with pandemic so we were fine to pay that much. It's also pretty cool that you're allowed to take photos in the museum with the art :)

Super fun for a honeymoon stop. I thought the price was a little steep but we really got to see a lot and really enjoyed ourselves. Also there was some kind of private party with a woman talking about exploration of all things sex and it was lovely to see and hear the openness.

While an interesting concept and some interesting pieces, the museum itself seemed poorly maintained.. We often encountered very warm rooms or hallways that should have led to other exhibits with no door handle that lead to them. The "security" seemed uninterested and on the phone the whole time while I told them about the leak in the roof. Thankfully they addressed the issues to save the exhibits. Interesting but not sure it was worth the money.

HUGE collection and the galleries were very ejoyable. Im giving it four stars though because the first part of the museum was more sort of like a selfie museum, but the room was super disorganized and looked almost run-down. I think taking that part of the experience out altogether and just walking through the galleries is more than good enough.

Beautifull and peaceful park close to South Beach and Miami drive. If you need a place to stay and relax for a few hours this is a perfect place to do so. Also numerous sports activities such as basketball and tennis.

Great park it is a 36-acre park including an 8-lane lap swimming pool plus playground, baseball stadium & soccer field. It’s picnic friendly. But obviously you gotta throw your trash on the thrash cans, there are a lot of them, so you gotta be respectful. The swimming pool is just for residents. Also the same for the Tennis court. The baseball field is open to everyone who wants to play, it’s in mint condition but after rainy days maybe will be a little flooded. There are soccer fields. The bathrooms are still closed because of COVID. They should be open... The basketball field is open for everyone just as the gym center.

The Biltmore Hotel Miami Coral Gables is a historic and luxurious landmark hotel that has been offering top-notch hospitality for nearly a century. Following a recent $40 million renovation, the hotel now boasts modern amenities such as a world-class spa and fitness center while preserving its original grandeur.
The building is gorgeous, our room was beautifully cleaned & stocked with everything we could need. Our first meal here was breakfast at la Fontana & our server Sabryna did everything possible to make breakfast amazing for us! She really went out of her way with service & knowledge of the building. She set the mood for a great day here! We are very excited

I love The Biltmore. I stay once a year. The small suite is perfect. The hotel itself is old and has a rich history while still maintaining modern amenities. The restaurants at the hotel have good good, but take note, a 20% service charge is added to the tab. I don't golf, but the course looks lovely and well maintained. Staff are always very helpful. There is a great parking lot on property, so you don't feel pressured to valet the car. The hotel is within a few mile of the University of Miami and walking distance to a church. Sunday brunch is very nice.

Such an amazing hotel with beautiful and historic interior and exterior! The front desk is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Shoutout to Antonio and whoever that was in the morning shift the day after Antonio(sorry we didn’t get the name)! You guys are awesome! Thank you for the upgrade and assistance with the booking. The restaurant and housekeeping staff are all amazing and nice. We love the gym and bed so much too! Highly recommend this place for anyone that is looking for a comfortable, clean and unique stay!

Beautiful historic property with inconsistent service. The Biltmore in Coral Gables is undeniably beautiful with classic architecture, lush grounds, and a real sense of history. The rooms and public spaces feel far more refined than many so called luxury resorts, and the atmosphere has genuine character. That said, the service can be hit or miss. The pool area is stunning, but the servers seemed to operate on selective vision. I was ignored long enough to wonder if I had accidentally turned invisible. For a property with this reputation, attentive service should match the setting. Still, the hotel itself is worth experiencing. Just do not expect consistent five star hospitality once you leave the lobby

My stay at The Biltmore in Coral Gables was absolutely exceptional! From the moment I arrived, I was in awe — the property itself is a masterpiece, full of timeless elegance and charm. Every corner tells a story, and you can truly feel the history and grandeur that make this place one of a kind. The hospitality and attention to detail were beyond outstanding. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome — always courteous, warm, and attentive. The service was top-notch, and the accommodations exceeded all my expectations. From the stunning architecture to the impeccable service, everything about the Biltmore radiates excellence. I can’t recommend it enough — a true Miami gem that offers an unforgettable experience. ✨💫 IG: @sophiarvt

Gorgeous historic property located in picturesque neighborhood. Beautiful lobby, large Mediterranean style pool. We booked through Amex FHR, checked in at 12pm and were upgraded to nicely decorated junior suite. Had a wonderful dinner and breakfast at Fontana restaurant. Little box of chocolate that was brought to our room as a welcome gift was a very nice touch. All staff was very welcoming. 5 stars!

The ambiance is incredible — it truly feels like you’ve escaped the city and slipped into a charming Spanish suburb. My husband and I went for brunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. We especially loved the lunch selections over the breakfast buffet. Everything was delicious, and the service was exceptional.
Fulya M — Google review
Our week at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables felt like stepping into a dream. The stunning Mediterranean architecture, with its arched windows, red-tiled roofs, and palm-lined gardens, gave the whole place a European charm that instantly set the tone for a special family getaway. From check-in to checkout, the service was outstanding. Every staff member was warm, helpful, and professional, true five-star hospitality. Our room was spacious and elegant, with high ceilings, classic décor, and a bathroom that felt like a personal spa retreat. The pool, massive and one of the biggest hotel pools in the U.S.—surrounded by palm trees—was the heart of our stay. We spent hours swimming, lounging, and enjoying drinks by the water. We also loved the little shops tucked away on the lower level for souvenirs and snacks. The gym was another pleasant surprise, very well equipped, clean, and perfect for keeping up with workouts during the trip. The Biltmore blends historic beauty with modern comfort in a way that’s rare. It was more than just a vacation, it was a memorable experience we’ll always treasure. Highly recommend for anyone looking for elegance, relaxation, and top-tier service. Thank you 😊

Collins Park is a vibrant oceanfront destination located in an up-and-coming area alongside the Bass Art Museum. Visitors can explore a variety of attractions, including shops, a botanic garden, and entertainment venues such as the ballet. The park also offers opportunities for artistic expression through camps and activities at the Creativity Center. Additionally, art enthusiasts can immerse themselves in contemporary works at The Bass, featuring pieces from around the world and hosting engaging speaker series.
Well folks, it's been a long time since I lasted visited the Bass Museum, perhaps 50 years. It is one on a list of museums not to be missed so I took quite a long trek (more than an hour) to visit Miami Beach, my old high school stomping grounds. The museum appeared smaller than I remembered but it has 2 floors of exhibit space. The exhibit displayed several artists work. There were 3 rooms on each floor exhibiting several different media ranging from paintings to sculptures to multimedia art. And 2 elevators (one was HUGE) if needed to get you to the second floor. But of all the art, there was one that really stood out which made the visit well worth it. It was walking into a room, walk to wall, floor to ceiling total immersive art. It was like taking a step back in time to my youth with a psychedelic atmosphere. Sort of Andy Warhol like for me. Included in the room was a full wall tv screen and music from that time period, the 60's. There was a lot to absorb and view. You even had to wear booties to protect the art displayed on the floor you walk on. Rainbow couches were there for you to rest and take it all in if needed. Don't miss it. The other rooms supplied other attractive pieces that displayed creative talent worth seeing. Some sculptures really stood out. The museum is family friendly but not much for kids in my view. But you know, art is in the eye of the beholder. Some kids mays like this stuff. The price of admission was reasonable. There is a cafe with a limited menu reasonably priced. Even nice tabled space to enjoy your snack/meal. Clean (family ones too) bathrooms. Gift shop. Adequate parking garage for a reasonable fee, better than the street parking. I can't say there was a wheelchair access but I suppose there is. So if you are willing to take the trip like I did (unless you live in Miami Beach), you won't be disappointed.

Whether you are a tourist or local, you should come to Collins Park at least once. It’s along Colins Ave in SoBe. The park is beautiful, perfect for a walk, or a picnic with friends, or even for pictures, I’m sure you will capture great pictures, specially of the Art Basel sculpture that is within the park.

It’s a beautiful park in the middle of the beach area. I walked past this park every day during my 5 day holiday in South Beach. Took hundreds pictures of this park. You can just sit there, have a picnic with your fam or friends after the beach, and watch people skating, playing sports, or walking pass. I’m glad that there is this park there

I was here for the le diner la blanc event. The park and museum were a perfect venue. The park is beautiful, clean, and safe. I'll go again on a Sunday to see how it is during the day and walk the Bass Museum of Art

Collins Park in Miami is a vibrant and culturally rich area that beautifully blends art, greenery, and oceanfront access. Located along the iconic Collins Avenue, the park is home to open green spaces, walking paths, and striking public art installations that make it a perfect spot for relaxation, photography, or a leisurely stroll. Its proximity to the Bass Museum of Art adds an artistic flair, attracting both locals and tourists interested in contemporary exhibitions and events. The park’s design encourages outdoor activities, from picnics to yoga, while offering stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean just steps away. Whether you’re exploring Miami’s art scene, enjoying the beach, or simply looking for a peaceful urban retreat, Collins Park provides a welcoming and inspiring environment for all visitors.

Small park in front of the Bass Art Museum. Clean. A couple sculptures. No bathrooms or concession stands. Not much to do. Would be a nice place to throw a frisbee or walk a dog. A little sketchy. Homeless people hanging out. There was a security cop patrolling.

Nice beach 🏖️, the sand is beautiful after they rake the seaweed each morning. The waves 🌊 are small relative to west coast or Hawaii so no real surfing. Over makes for a nice meet up and October break with friends. Would recommend visiting at least once.
WWTraveler27 — Google review
It is a rare blessing to be able to swim in the sea in winter or even at night. In my hometown of South Korea, the water is very cold to swim in the sea even in August, summer, but it wasn't cold here in November. To be honest, the color of the water during the day is just that of green, and I didn't feel that the beach was particularly pretty compared to its fame. But as soon as sunset, I realized why it is famous. It was the most beautiful sunset of my life. The moon began to rise on the sea around 5 o'clock, and swarms of seagulls flew around, and the sky began to turn into subtle pink. The pastel-toned pink sky and the green sea were really amazing. I captured the scene that seemed to be in a movie for about 30 minutes with my eyes. There are public toilets and facilities to wash sand nearby. However, don't go on a windy day. It's because I've failed on a windy day. It was too windy to go to the beach because I couldn't control my body. And on windy days, there is little sunlight, so the sea is not pretty.
최나은 — Google review
It's such a vibe. You can see families, couples, singles, and pets. No one is upset or angry. They're either catching rays, playing in the water, playing volleyball or having deep conversations while listening to music. The beach is clean. The people are respectful.

Wow! I truly felt spoiled here. I came for my birthday and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make me feel special by adding a few extra touches to our stay. Additionally, the hotel is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The pool was beautiful and relaxing - especially the hammocks! We had great restaurants at our fingertips and also really enjoyed the restaurants at the hotel. The car service was fabulous as well (they can take you anywhere within a 2 mile radius). We also enjoyed Equinox, which we had access to with our stay. I cannot wait to stay here again!!

From the moment we pulled up, everything about this stay was exceptional. The bellman David greeted us with a warm smile and handled our arrival like true hospitality royalty. Check-in was smooth and friendly the front desk team made us feel right at home. Within minutes of settling into our room, Juan arrived with a tray of little gourmet danishes. That personal touch was such a pleasant surprise and set the tone for the rest of our stay. We also reserved a cabana by the pool, and it came stocked with complimentary fresh fruit and a chilled bottle of rosé — the perfect touch for relaxing poolside. The entire property is beautiful and easy to find using Google Maps — valet and parking were a breeze. The pool area is stunning with an amazing view, and the food and drinks on-site are every bit as good as you’d hope. Customer service here is honestly above five-star level. Highly recommend this property for anyone who wants seamless service, great food and drinks, and true hospitality from arrival to checkout.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel operated at a level above the rest. The customer service was nothing short of extraordinary—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the pool staff, radiated professionalism and kindness. Cleanliness was impeccable. The rooms, common areas, and even tucked-away corners sparkled with attention to detail. You could sense the pride in their upkeep—fresh linens, spotless bathrooms, and an overall freshness that made the entire space feel both luxurious and comforting. The amenities were generous and beautifully integrated into the experience. The pool was beautiful and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like complimentary fruit-infused water and plush towels. In short, this hotel didn’t just provide a place to sleep—it created a complete, immersive experience. It’s rare to find a place where luxury and warmth meet so seamlessly. We left feeling not only refreshed but truly cared for. Rating: 5/5 – A destination in itself. We’ll only stay here in Miami in the future.

My husband and I enjoyed our trip here. The service was top notch. The vibes are great. Laid back and calm and the pool is amazing! If you want a relaxing place to stay in Miami go here. I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The service was excellent staff were attentive, welcoming, and truly went out of their way to make the experience comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, making it a relaxing retreat after a long day. The highlight for me was definitely the pool area it was absolutely beautiful, well maintained, and the perfect place to unwind. Overall, a fantastic experience and I would gladly stay here again!
Arina Z — Google review
Stayed here for a couple of nights at the beginning of July. I had a cityscape king room sponsored by an interviewer and it was pretty nice and spacious. The check-in desk is at the 7th floor (if I remember correctly), and you have to always transfer elevators there to get to your room. There's also an Equinox in the building, on the 4th floor (again, if I remember correctly). They have a nice long pool with lots of seating around, and I went for a swim Tuesday evening around 6:30pm - had it to myself. It's very close to the baywalk, so that was convenient for someone like me who likes to run around to explore new places. When I called an Uber to the airport, he kept getting confused about the entrance to the hotel, and to be fair, it took me a couple of instances of going out on walks too to figure out exactly which one belonged to this hotel. On the way to the pool, you have to walk by a restaurant (Bahia?) and you always get the strong smell of seafood - this was the only thing I didn't like about this hotel.

Very professional people. The boat was very clean. The host was very helpful. Tour ride around the city was so fun. As a Miami native I never seen the city they way they showed it. My respect to the captain. He drove that boat with ease.Highly recommend to everyone !!

I can honestly say that I had a blast today with my family that came from Georgia. Lester and Norman were very professional about everything; they provided us with great service. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!!
Nore A — Google review
I would highly recommend booking with them for the best experience! We had 8 ladies out this weekend for a bachelorette party, and Lester and Chris were fantastic and met all of our needs! Would highly recommend to ANYONE looking to experience the best of the Miami water scene!!

29North Shore Park Beach

Beach
North Shore Park Beach is a family-friendly sandy stretch located in Miami Beach. Unlike other beaches in the area, it is not surrounded by high-rise buildings, offering a more natural and wild city park experience. The beach spans about a mile along Collins Avenue and features a small wooded park and large dunes covered with sea grapes. Lifeguards are on duty daily to ensure safety.
Such a beautiful beach and walking/biking path! We went to the beach during the day and walked the brick path at night and it was well lit. We felt safe regardless of it being dark. It was well kept and just gorgeous. We stayed at a hotel nearby and walked here. Would definitely visit if we were in the area again!

Absolutely loved the park, convenient areas for barbecue and family picnic. All necessary amenities and perfect areas for biking and jogging.

I came to North Shore Park Beach every day during my week in Miami and loved it. The beach is super clean, the water is calm and clear, and the lifeguards are friendly. It’s never overcrowded, which makes it even better. The only thing to note is there’s no real boardwalk, so you walk about 100 feet in the sand, but it’s worth it for how nice the beach is. Highly recommend!

Beautiful colored warm water, felt safe with lifeguard tower. We spent a full day here and had a blast. The sand under the water drops off pretty quickly so that you can barely touch the bottom less than about 10 ft from shore. Lifeguard sometimes doesn't let you go far in. We came on a Monday, and there weren't a ton of people. I also appreciated that it was right off a park so there weren't giant hotels behind us. There was one lady laying top less which was weird since this isnt a nude beach. There were people with weed after sunset and it's open sunrise to 8 pm. Might be a favorite beach for this Florida tourist!

Great place to chill, sometimes it is better than south beach. It isn't that busy as south beach and also has a good number of restaurants , juice etc...
Disht A — Google review
We've visited so many beaches in a year here in South Florida and North Shore Park Beach is the best beach there is. It was quiet and all you hear is the ocean, and we had the best time. There's also a park behind us where you can grill and where kids can enjoy themselves at the playground.
Lero L — Google review
This is my favorite to go spot to hang out with my friends. It is not overly crowded, less well-known to tourists and is away from the street noise. Majority is the locals and the sand is soft and clean. You can occasionally catch the manatees awning along the shore. The downside is that regardless to the sign requiring no alcohol and no dogs, people still bring their large dogs here and let their pet swim in the ocean whereas the lifeguards wouldn’t do anything about it.
V L — Google review
Nice beach, stays shallow for a while. Always waves from the ocean, boats, jet skis, so not ideal for little kids. There is still lots of sargassum in the water and on the shore, and it gets progressively worse as the day goes. The park itself is closed for construction. Free public parking fills up quickly. Nice playground near the bathrooms with partial shade and climbing structures for kids 3yo+.

Recently transformed into a car-free zone, this vibrant thoroughfare invites visitors to explore its lively atmosphere without the distraction of traffic. As you wander along Ocean Drive, you'll be captivated by the stunning architecture that defines the Art Deco District. It's a fantastic spot for capturing memorable photos and soaking in the energetic nightlife that makes this area so special.
Must have in Miami
Uli R — Google review
The Art Deco District of Miami South Beach is a true spectacle. Based around the Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue area, this is a great place to either stay or simply visit to absorb the magnificent buildings that adorn the streets. Within a short distance of the beach, these fantastic buildings on Ocean Drive are fronted by a large grass and sand area where the cool play volleyball, workout, in line skate, run, bike or simply hang out just being beautiful. It’s hip and classy down here and a fantastic sight to come and experience. The buildings look amazing, each with their own individual style and come to life at night when they are fully illuminated with lights that truly enhance great architecture and construction. It would be a huge mistake if when in Miami you don’t go here to stroll Ocean Drive and soak up the sights.
John G — Google review
This whole area is a visual dream. I swear I took like a million pictures because every single corner, building, and sign felt straight out of a movie. The pastel colors, neon lights, vintage cars, palm-lined streets—it was all so surreal and magical. Walking through the Art Deco District feels like being transported back in time, but with a Miami twist. Ocean Drive adds its own charm with the beach right across and that lively, iconic energy everywhere. Whether it’s day or night, the vibe is electric but still artsy and nostalgic. I was completely obsessed. Rating: 5/5 – A surreal, picture-perfect slice of Miami history. If you love aesthetics, color, and culture—you’ll be in heaven.
