1Mondrian South Beach Miami

Hotel
The Mondrian South Beach in Miami offers a trendy and vibrant atmosphere with its bold quarters, Sunday yoga sessions, lounge, dining options, and lively pool scene. Unlike many beachfront hotels in Miami that lose sunlight early in the day, the west-facing Mondrian boasts a crescent-shaped pool right on Biscayne Bay, providing stunning views of the Miami skyline and ample sunshine until sunset.
My wife and I stayed at the Mondrian for 3 nights last week while I was at a work conference. The location is great, with a beautiful view over the bay. The rooms are large and we had a nice balcony. From beginning to end the staff was incredible. Victoria at check in and then Marc throughout the stay. The restaurant and pool are excellent. This was our first time staying on the Bay side and we will gladly return to the Mondrian. Marc, thank you and your colleagues for such a great stay.

we spent the weekend here for our anniversary. The location was great, and the pool area and beach club was pure class. They upgraded our room from a city view to bay view which was so gorgeous and nice to see the city lit up at night. The room was a little outdated but other than that it was great. We would definitely consider staying again!!

So I never intended to write a review. I generally don’t. But I stayed here last year for the Latin Grammys and with this year’s awards fast approaching, I had to write something. I checked in and the room was filthy. Cigarettes in the sink (see photo). Also a chair was broken (photo). I left a tip and note for the staff (another photo). Came back to the room later and the tip money was accepted but the broken chair remained (for the rest of my stay). These issues were reported to the front desk. I also had my suit pressed for the awards. I know they send it out to a partner but it was returned covered in lint. This was a clean but somewhat wrinkled navy suit. No idea how the white lint got on there from a pressing. It took me 30+ minutes to make the suit presentable again. This was also mentioned to the front desk to no avail. I’ve stayed in the Mondrian chain before but won’t be staying at this one again.

Check-in experience was messed up, even though I checked in advance that things go smoothly for my guests. Our package was stolen internally and once they reviewed the security cameras it magically showed up. Rooms are cleaned every three days and if you request any extra service they refuse. Staff is more focussed on enforcing their rules than providing a great guest experience. Cannot bring anything to the pool you acquired to buy everything there never seen this before even at high-end resorts. Have stayed here numerous times in the past, but this last one was five years after the last experience and a noticeable drop off. I expressed my displeasure for the resort, but they were not very sympathetic. I’m not one to write negative reviews and own a business myself so I understand that things can happen, but they are clearly in it solely for monetizing their property without providing value or quality experience. We’ll go back to the fountain blue where we love.

The time I spent at this residence has been incredible, leading me to consider buying an apartment here. I am truly grateful to Marc, Sebastian, and Greter Perez. The staff at the management office is exceptionally competent and supportive. I want to commend these individuals for their professionalism, warmth, and assistance. In a world where people often encounter dissatisfaction, I find myself effortlessly content. I believe that positivity breeds positivity and strive to radiate good energy to attract the same in return. Life is short, we need to be happy.🙏 Kety

Disgusting hotel. Do not come here. Sure the reviews on Google are good but every where else they are bad and those are true! Booked for one night to go to the Heat game and didn’t even stay because of the poor conditions of the room. As you can see there is a dark brown stain on the couch- looks absolutely disgusting and never cleaned. Also shown in the photo are the stains of the rug. Shower tiles are dirty, a giant rip in the couch, marks on the chairs, more dirty floors and also a TV that looks like an iPad. This is unacceptable for a Miami Hotel!!! Spoke to the front desk and they immediately understood and said we will get a refund. But no, just a refunded resort fee…not a full refund for not staying the entire evening. They had an issue with how long the check in to check out time was— again because we went to the game for my Dad’s 60th birthday and had various reservations around miami- no we don’t want to be late for them just to complain to the hotel- so anyways we decided to drive home in the insane monsoon and risk our lives on the Florida 95 instead of staying one night in these room. It seems like a hotel that has completely given up. Spoke to the supervisor who didn’t give a care about our stay or the conditions of the room, such great service and hospitality!!!! *that is extreme sarcasm.
Martha K — Google review
Beautiful hotel nice and friendly staff. Pool is nice and spacious. If you like to walk you can to the beach and the strip where everything is located. It is a little walk but not too bad. Or you can just uber literally less than $10 to the beach , Collin’s or ocean drive ! Definitely recommended if you don’t want to pay the pricier hotel charges.
Jessica T — Google review
I love this hotel, I have stayed here 3 times. The rooms are so cute, spacious & unique. Too many hotels these days are drab grey- this one has color and subtle decor! Almost every room has a good view even if you aren’t on the bay side. The staff and maids have all been kind to me. Sebastian especially showed professionalism and hospitality during my stay. One last thing- i like that you can walk to whole foods so easily, and target pretty easy too.

Public swimming pool
Venetian Pool is a historic and iconic spring-water-filled pool located in Coral Gables, Florida. Built in 1923, it was originally a rock quarry pit used to mine oolitic limestone for the area's early buildings. Designed by Denman Fink and Phineas Paist, it was once dubbed the world's most beautiful swimming hole.
Super pretty spot to spend the day and cool off. The pool is refreshing and the amenities are nice. Lounge on the sand area or rent a lounger. Plenty of space to swim and cool off the pools are huge. Really pretty waterfall feature. The staff is very nice and accommodating! Really great to visit during the week as there were very little people there. Paid $17 as I am a non resident, which is still very affordable. Concession stand was under construction but there were vending machines with drinks and snacks available. Would visit again!
Ashley F — Google review
This is a must see while visiting to Miami. The pool is so clear and pretty it's from a natural spring. It has a kiddie pool, a sand area and the waterfall rock grotto you can swim inside. Pretty neat. It is deep i would wear a life vest however there were plenty of lifeguards. You have to park in this lot kinda down the street but it wasnt far and its about $20 to get in. I remember it was vending machines but im not sure if you can bring a cooler or outside food.
Vikki R — Google review
The Venetian pool is a pretty great experience! The water is a great cool temperature to take a break from the heat of summer! With its beautiful turquoise waters, it is a wonderful spot for family or a nice date doing something out of the usual. I will have to knock it for the parking. Although if you arrive early Enough it shouldn’t be an issue. If you arrive after 11:00 you’ll be circling a few times waiting on a spot.
Juan C — Google review
I absolutely loved this place. I purchased my tickets the night before because I heard this place gets packed. I'm very happy I did because when I got there at noon on a Saturday it had already reached capacity. Parking is a little tricky because of how packed it gets. I had to circle around a few times before I found a spot. Once inside I was taken away by how beautiful and clear the water was. Word of advice: wear the life jacket if you're not a strong swimmer. The pool is super deep in some areas. However there are more than enough lifeguards standing by at all times. The seating areas get taken quickly so try to arrive early. Also the concession area is currently being remodeled so take your own snacks and drinks. This place is totally worth the $17 entrance fee. Lots of greats spots for pictures too. Will be returning soon. But probably on a weekday to avoid the crowds.
Emilce R — Google review
This place is absolutely gorgeous. I was working in coral gables for over a year and never stepped in. Last week I had the chance to go for the first time and they just open the place for the season. You can enjoy en relax, also I have to mention they have a good group of lifeguards that keep monitoring the area and the people in the pool. If you love to swim, you will love the 8ft deep side of the pool. Definitely looking to come back.
Danilo R — Google review
Was impressed with this place, nice tucked into neighborhood location and felt the pool was bigger and better than I expected. Will return to again to explore the cave area as that had just been shut down for the day, as I was swimming to it. 8ft depth nice to swim long laps in, I wondered why it would be closed for season and now I realize it’s likely the leaves that would be falling into water and too much to maintain.
Vinnie C — Google review
This place is very beautiful. The water was amazing, and the waterfalls were fun. Clean park and plenty of seating areas. Pricing seemed fair enough, under $20/person. Locals obviously get a great deal. Still worth the sight and swim.
Stephanie H — Google review
This place has been here so many years! A private pool located in Coral Gables, but non residents can pay $21 non-refundable no matter rain or shine for the day! There is a waterfall, smaller shallow pool, and underwater cave. Picnic seating and seating under covering. There is a mini beach and a little Cafe to see get food that is reasonably priced. Now note if there is inclement weather they will remove you from the pools and outdoor seating for your safety. They will not refund your money..no matter how long you have been there. So choose wisely. Other than that this was a great place to spend the day. The safe was super nice and knowledgeable about the history of the pool!

Hotel
The National Hotel is a chic and elegant oceanfront property located in the heart of South Beach. It boasts modern rooms, an infinity pool, and an art deco lobby. The hotel stands as an Art Deco landmark amidst the contrast of ultra-modern architecture and historic buildings in the surrounding neighborhoods. Its luxurious glamour reflects a bygone era while offering updated amenities for discerning travelers.
National Hotel is located slightly away from the party noise, offering guests a charming return to the past with its elegant design and nostalgic atmosphere. Although the room was not very large, it was beautifully decorated, cozy, and full of character. The interior design was exceptional. Throughout the day, guests are greeted by friendly staff, complimentary morning coffee, and refreshing drinks. It was a lovely touch to receive a welcome drink in the room after a long journey. The hotel provides everything you need: valet parking, breakfast, and attentive service both poolside and beachfront. From what I understood, all service-related amenities are included in the resort fee, which gives peace of mind—you don’t have to worry about the cost of umbrellas or other small charges, and the total payment is clear from the start. The staff by the pool and on the beach were responsive and delivered our orders promptly. Overall, our stay was wonderful and relaxing. A big thank-you to the team for their excellent work! Cons: Only one elevator was operational during our stay, which led to queues and some discomfort for guests. The water pressure in the shower was quite low, which slightly detracted from the overall experience. It might also be time to consider updating the bathroom furniture.
Alex S — Google review
My daughter stayed here with her partner a couple of months ago and loved it so much she booked a visit for my husband and I. We are so happy she did because this place is beautiful. As soon as we stepped in we felt welcomed. The staff were all very helpful especially “Pablo” who assisted us by the pool. What an amazing guy. His smile made us feel welcomed. But his continues concern for making sure if we needed anything or can help in any way was really appreciated. There was also the Hotel manager or Hotel supervisor unfortunately I can’t remember his name but he is originally from Morocco and was also very attentive to the guess. Breakfast was delicious even the fruit salad tasted better than most places.
Bernice — Google review
Cool place, Thanks Racheal on the desk & Eric out at the entry. Real nice people. I'm from a country that doesn't do tips so struggle understand a 18% service charge and then an implied obligation to tip another 18% But it appears it's a Miami thing as other restaurants try the same trick. But back to the Hotel....very cool, loved the vibe. We even had a power cut for maybe 15 hours that made for an eventful stay. It was NOT the hotel's fault but they stepped up and made the best of a bad situation.
Nigel V — Google review
Very nice hotel. The rooms are a good size. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated. They have a really nice pool. It’s great that you can order food and drinks pool side. It’s also nice that they have a section of the beach where you can request beach chairs and umbrellas (included in your stay). However the service that you receive at the beach is severely lacking. Not necessarily from the men who set up your chair and umbrella but 100% from the wait staff who take your drinks and food order beach side. Each day that I went to the beach the wait staff was inattentive and dismissive. However, they would easily attend and greet the white guests that were sitting the left and write of me. They would ask the white guests how they’re doing, offer them menus, bring their drinks and food timely. I simply can’t dismiss the overtly racist behavior from the wait staff when I literally witnessed a wait staff walk by every beach chair to greet and offer them a menu but skipped right over mine. I hope the hotel acknowledges the potential racial biases in their wait staff and trains them to do better. Everyone deserves quality customer service regardless of their race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, etc.

The National Hotel in Miami Beach was incredible! Katie the manager was so welcoming and made sure everything was perfect from the start. Pablo, our server by the pool, was the best, super attentive and always friendly. Miadora, our pool attendant, was amazing and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Beautiful hotel, great vibe, and the kind of service that makes you want to come back again and again.
Brandy S — Google review
The National Hotel is a true gem in Miami Beach. The Art Deco architecture is gorgeous and gives the whole place a unique, nostalgic vibe. The pool is one of the best in the area—long, elegant, and perfect for lounging. The beach area is just as impressive, with clean sand, clear water, and excellent service. Speaking of service, the staff here are phenomenal. Friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, they made our stay feel truly special. The rooms are beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxed yet upscale, and everything is kept in perfect condition. If you're visiting Miami Beach and want an adult only hotel that combines style, comfort, and top-tier hospitality, The National Hotel should be at the top of your list.

Great location. Stayed here before our cruise left Miami Port. Great good. Fantastic beach access with chairs and umbrella. Loved the bars and the steak delivered to our room was DELICIOUS! We walked across the street for drinks and a snack at a place called taco taco. The breakfast was over the top good and the outdoor seating was so nice. Pool is clean and lovely. Very relaxing. Also tons of seating. Rooms were nice and clean. They are renovating but we were not disturbed at all by it. Also had hammocks outside with an outdoor bar.

My wife and I needed a relaxing, adults only vacation. We are educators and therapists so we needed to refresh our minds and bodies. We were met with amazing service, front-desk, and workers. Elijah F. was a rock star, meeting us with smiles and joy. He did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. The pool, the food, the beach, the ambiance was incredible. The architecture and music were incredible; THANK YOU ALL. We will be back.

The Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel offers vibrant and relaxed accommodations with a 60s flair, Art Deco glamour, and contemporary details. Located on Collins Avenue, the hotel features a bar, restaurant, spa, pool, and beach playground. The colorful interiors create a lively atmosphere for guests to enjoy during their Miami stay. This family-friendly hotel provides special amenities such as kids play areas on the beach, children's menus, and baby cots in rooms.
Loved this hotel! And I have pretty high standards for hotels, especially beach hotels. Staff was wonderful, room had everything we would want, location incredible, and all the amazing amenities included in the resort fees (happy hour, bikes, pool, DJ, sunscreen, private beach, yoga…) made this one of the best value luxury hotels I’ve been to. Would recommend this hotel to anyone!
Chloé Z — Google review
One of the worst hotels I've ever stayed at. After staying at 3 Kimpton locations across the state, i have gathered that all of the effort and money is put into designing a lobby that tricks you into believing you're in a luxury hotel, while the rooms are dirtier and more damaged than you could find even at EconoLodge. You can hear EVERYTHING in the rooms around you and i mean literally e v e r y t h i n g. The couple next to us were screaming, cussing each other out, and blasting music well past 3 am. The beach was covered in plastic, garbage, and cigarette butts, and despite the "no smoking" signs every where, they do nothing to enforce it. There were parents taking infants in diapers into the shared pool. The door to our balcony was completely broken and didn't latch shut completely and the lock was hanging broken, so we got bit up by mosquitoes and the door kept blowing open. There were urine stains dripping down the wall and all over the baseboards of the bathroom. There's a light directly outside the bedroom window that isn't attached to any of the light switches so you can't turn it off at night. The balconies are only separated by fake plants so there's no privacy whatsoever. This is more similar to a cheap motel than a supposed 4 star resort.
Kat K — Google review
Great location and a really nice place. It’s not huge, so they only have two dining/drinking options but both weee very good. The service was fantastic across the board. All staff we interacted with were incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made for a great, relaxing time away from home. Thanks!

Charming Boutique Hotel Just Steps from the Beach I had a wonderful stay at this charming boutique hotel! The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, which made it so convenient to enjoy the ocean any time of day. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained with a cozy, stylish vibe that feels both relaxed and refined. The room is a bit small. The staff were exceptionally professional and friendly from check-in to check-out. If you’re looking for a well-appointed spot near the beach, this hotel is a fantastic choice. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
Tuyet C — Google review
The hotel's location and facilities are excellent, but although the staff were polite, the quality of service was worse than I expected. There were many shortcomings in the rooms, and despite our request for a coffee machine, They left the machine without even plugging it in. And when we turned on the coffee machine, all the water leaked out . Although we requested a quiet room, we were given one very close to the restaurant and directly across from the housekeeping room. On most nights (between 11 PM and 2 AM), vacuuming was done by staff near the reception area. I liked the cleanliness of the bed linens and the bathroom, but the rooms are old and small.
Eylül K — Google review
Very good stay. Rooms were clean and decent. Exceptional service, great bar staff. Little pricey with their resort fees and some food and drinks, but you get what you pay for. One of the better stays in South Beach area

No picture anyone post can do this property justice. This property is absolutely stunning. It’s breathtaking how beautiful this property is. It’s well kept the Bellman’s were on point. The housekeepers are so nice and helpful. the restaurant and happy hour is always a vibe. I will say though be careful about the hotel deposit. The deposit is extremely high other than that please book your room fast. Oh and the beach front of this property is beautiful.

Fontainebleau Miami Beach is an iconic 1950s hotel that offers more than just a place to stay. With upscale restaurants, lively nightclubs, and a luxurious spa, it's a celebrity magnet and a popular choice for those seeking an unforgettable Miami experience. The hotel's landmark curved design blends in beautifully along Millionaires Row, offering stunning oceanfront views.
Absolutely beautiful stay on South Beach Miami. Close to many wonderful restaurants. The room was pristine. Service- impeccable. We had a lovely time. Only stayed one night, we were in town for a cruise but it was a comfortable, cozy stay. Very enjoyable. Lots of history at the hotel- the rat-pack were frequent visitors back in the day!
Michelle B — Google review
Hotel is in a beautiful locations and has the protentional to be a great spot. So done with the good! Service was horrible! One experience is paying for chair at the 21+ pool and the wait staff doing everything other than waiting on people. I had to go get my drinks at the bar when the waitress was exchanging numbers and hitting on a guy by the entrance. Still would not care other than getting yelled at for not getting drink minimum through her because I had to walk up to the bar to by all our drinks. Room was nice but couch was straight out of grandmas 1970 basement and fridge in the room did not work. Also they charge a 20% service fee and some waiters tell you they get nothing some say they get it. If they do not just mark up the drinks and food so we can make the correct decision on tipping. Overall This was the biggest waist of money I ever spend on a stay at a hotel and would recommend a holiday inn over this place. Also vary kid friendly at the point of a couples great getaway you will never find a quiet place to lounge and in joy the day. A 5 year old as we were laying out relived themselves right next to my wife's pool bag (we ended up throwing it away).

Like so many have said it looks luxurious then the reality hits. They over charge on everything, coffee should not cost 13-15 bucks, the food is ok at best and way to expensive, they charge extra for umbrellas at the beach, service is suppose to extend to everyone with a bracelet they demand you where to let them know your a guest of the hotel, I have had numerous workers walk past me and only address those who have paid for an umbrella or bed. The main pool is closed and has been since we've They been here. The elevators have been a total nightmare, they have one that doesn't work in Tresor tower then there are two that only go up, leaving one that goes up and down but will skip numerous floors like it doesn't register that someone pushed the button. We have spent a good 5-10 minutes waiting on the elevator. The best part for myself, having two kids on this trip is there is a kitchen with a fridge, stove and microwave. Which allows us to keep snacks and breakfast items in the room. I have a hard time paying over 20 bucks for every item on the menus with in the hotel restaurants. I like the view from the room as well. If you chose to stay here bring walking shoes as there are many places to go eat that are better priced and the taste is absolutely amazing. Like Tiki & Burgers. Not to far from the hotel along with a dunkin donuts. To be honest this place is not worth the hype or cost.

We stopped by Fountainbleu today to pick up an item we left behind the other evening when we attended a birthday party there. The staff are always so pleasant and helpful. Valet service was also cooperative and helpful. The Miami Beach location is very popular with all ages groups. There is the younger crowd that loves LIV nightclub on the weekends for partying. There is the Bleu Bar for the more sophisticated crowd. There are the tourists from all over who want to stay here to enjoy all the perks and the more richer lifestyle. Fountainbleu has a good reputation here and in Las Vegas. Our in-laws stated here a couple of years ago and loved it. My daughter and I stayed twice at the Vegas location and loved it. We may have to do a stay-cation here locally. We live just 20 minutes away.

I can't say enough good things about this property. Knowing that it's been around since the '50s and that it has the reputation of being a hangout for the Rat Pack, I almost expected it to be kind of out of date and maybe even dilapidated. Nothing could be further from the truth. The lobby, restaurants, rooms, and other accommodations are beautiful and modern while retaining that classic mid-century feel. All of the people I dealt with who work here were very kind and accommodating. I had a fantastic room on the 36th floor in Tresor tower with a balcony and an ocean view. I also took advantage of their numerous pools. All in all a wonderful stay. Honestly, my only complaint is that the elevators are a bit wonky. I'm told that's because they're in the process of upgrading them - but I also heard from someone who stays here all the time but this has been the case for quite a while. Anyway, if wonky elevators are the worst thing about this property, then I will definitely consider returning. Yes, it's expensive. But, that's to be expected in a place like Miami Beach. Well worth it, though.

I checked into a suite on 9/1/25 and immediately called house keeping as the tub was not clean. As I awaited housekeeping's arrival I decided to go for a walk in the lobby. After about 25 mins I walked over to the front desk to inquire if housekeeping had already went into my room. The desk attendant advised me they had not come to my room as of yet. The gentleman that checked me less than 1 hour ago heard what was going on and advised the other attendant to simply move my room as there was a vacancy on the same floor. I appreciated the gesture and took the key to the new room and proceeded to go get my belongings as I just wanted to be able to get into the room and relax and take a long bath. I removed my stuff from my original room and walked down a few doors to my new room. As soon as I got into the new room I realized I left my phone charger in the other room and called guest services to see if someone could go and retrieve it, the gentleman I spoke to advised me they would send someone right away. Little did I know that right away meant 3 hours, and 2 more calls later. I ended up going downstairs and having to speak to someone at the front desk and explained the situation. That was part of day 1. On day 2 I realized that the ceiling was peeling in the bathroom. I spoke to the manager and she did make a room adjustment to my bill and offered for me to come back. I have emailed her twice, sent a text message and left her a message on the direct number she provided to me. I am still awaiting for her to respond to me.

stayed at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach from 20–27 October 2025 with my cousins to celebrate a milestone birthday, and it was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Before arriving, I emailed the hotel two weeks in advance to explain that I have certain health challenges and would need a comfortable, accessible room. They never replied. On arrival, I was charged over £1,400 in holds and fees, all on my card, even though I was sharing the room with my cousin. Then I found out our room was the only one without a balcony, while every other room in our group had one. When I asked about it, the front desk told me they’d move me complimentarily once business conference guests had checked out. The next morning, a different staff member said I’d need to pay over $1,000 extra to move. When I asked to speak with the manager, she came out with an incredibly rude and dismissive attitude. I was left in tears in the lobby on my first full day in Miami, and not one staff member stopped to check if I was okay. It was humiliating and deeply upsetting. The room itself was dirty, several plug sockets didn’t work, and one staff member even entered the room without knocking. The hotel was completely overrun by business conference guests, and it genuinely felt like leisure guests were treated as an inconvenience. This place may look luxurious online, but the staff clearly lack proper hospitality training and empathy. There was no warmth, no kindness, and no sense of care for guests. After this experience, I will never stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing or respectful stay.

Bar & food is pricey. However i can tell you that they have stepped up service from the past. Managament, pool & beach, room service has become top of the line. Big comparison from the past. New management has been great. Very impressive

Hotel
The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is a luxurious hotel located in Miami's Art Deco district. The historic resort, built by Morris Lapidus in 1953, exudes mid-century modern glamour with its streamlined ocean liner-like exterior and high-ceilinged grand lobby. The modern rooms and suites offer city or ocean views and are complemented by The Ritz-Carlton Spa and two restaurants.
My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach in May 2025, and our experience was nothing short of exceptional. As a Marriott member, I have high expectations, and this hotel truly exceeded them. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was top-notch. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel like valued guests. We were even fortunate enough to receive a room upgrade, which was a fantastic surprise and greatly enhanced our stay. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality we received here were truly outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience in South Beach.

I will be honest that our overall experience is fair. We booked this location due to vicinity to South Beach. We are Marriot gold elite and Hilton diamond members so we travel at least multiple times a year. My wife and I had high expectations for the Ritz-Carlton and their brand. We did not felt like this location is deserving of that brand recognition. First, all the staff were amazing and very attentive. The entrance to this location didn’t feel like it was grand and noticeable, but more tucked away since it was a side entrance. The lobby was immaculate and meets the brand luxury standards with recent renovations. It seems like the lobby was the main focal point of the renovation. The pool was a good size, but could use updates. The hardscape around the pool is outdated as well. Looking up to our room the building just didn’t look modern. There were plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas available. The drinks were strong. Now the guest rooms. We booked a King bed with balcony, no views. Was upgraded to pool/beach view. Although it was renovated it was missing the fine details of quality workmanship. Especially in the bathroom. The grout and caulking on the tiles didn’t have the fit and finish that’s expected for the Ritz Carlton brand. The shower head look like it was relocated and placed to the side. Very awkward. It was a tiled walk-in shower style but without the glass. Just walk-in and slide the curtain. If there was a tub there the shower head will spray water out of the tub due to its new location on the side. Also the shower head is a removable wand so it didn’t lock in place so it will rotate. Now the guest room was ok but also missing the detail of fit and finish look. The furniture was outdated. The bed was very very squeaky. The view from the balcony was great. We only ate breakfast once at Zatinya. That was ok. All service includes a 20% service on the bill. We really want to like this place but for $560 a night we’d expect better for a luxury hotel.

Fantastic experience! Service was top notch and food, albeit just some small plates and breakfast from the Lebanese restaurant, was very good! Lobby and lobby bar were gorgeous. Rooms were very clean, pool was warm and spacious. Beach access was a breeze. I’d drive the extra 3 hours to go to the Ritz South Beach location over the Ritz Naples (Vanderbilt beach location) because the experience and hospitality beyond surpassed that of the Naples location.

Highly recommend! Definitely get your money worth from the beach chairs to the free bike rental to the daily sparkling wine! Ladies & gentleman: Adriana at check in is the best! Santiago at the pool also super helpful! Caleb on the beach soooo awesome! Food: 6 course dinner was economical with huge portions ($60) breakfast was also economical ($55 buffet) . Great quality offerings

The staff here are great. In particular, Alain the bellman made my stay so easy! He was there when I arrived and agin when I departed and both times he could not have been more helpful, professional, or friendly. I wish all hotel staff everywhere were as terrific as he is! The champagne at check-in was a nice touch

I’ve been a returning guest at the South Beach Ritz-Carlton for years, and it’s been disappointing to see how much the atmosphere has changed under the new management. What used to be a warm, professional environment now feels cold and disorganized. It’s especially concerning to see long-time, older employees—many of whom have provided outstanding service for years—being pushed aside or replaced by younger staff who seem to be personal friends of the new managers. The pride and elegance that once defined this property appear to be fading, replaced by favoritism and poor leadership. As a guest, you can feel the impact of this behind the scenes: service feels less genuine, morale seems low, and the overall experience is not what it used to be. Unless the management changes course and brings back the respect and professionalism that built this hotel’s reputation, I won’t be returning.

Really nice hotel in the heart of South Beach. Great spot for family vacation or business event. Hotel is quite large with a huge beautiful pool and beach access. Service was really good as well. Rooms and lobby are very nice and clean, but are slightly outdated and could use an upgrade. Overall, it is a really good spot to stay in South Beach add a reasonable price for a 4-star hotel.
Will B — Google review
Great hotel and service, everyone here is nice and they take care of all your needs. Rooms are very nice and very clean no microwave in room and no fridge space all liquor not that family friendly but it can work. Lots of things to do like tour bus, jet ski, slingshot, golf karts rentals and more with beach access or just relax. Definitely a must do.

The Standard Spa, Miami Beach offers a sophisticated stay with retro design elements and a Mediterranean restaurant overlooking the bay. Located in Sunset Harbour, the hotel's pool provides stunning views and is accessible to guests or those with a Standard Wellness Membership. The property features amenities such as a hamam, steam room, sauna, hot tub, and gym. Situated on Belle Isle near the Venetian Causeway, this unique location offers a quieter setting away from the bustling South Beach scene.
I recently stayed at The Standard Miami, and I can honestly say it exceeded all expectations. From the moment you arrive, you're wrapped in a vibe that is both effortlessly cool and incredibly welcoming. The location is perfect – just secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close enough to the heart of Miami Beach for spontaneous adventures. But what truly made the experience exceptional was Fabio. If you're lucky enough to meet him, you'll understand why so many guests mention him by name. Fabio is the soul of hospitality – attentive, charismatic, and genuinely kind. Whether it's offering the best local recommendations, anticipating your needs before you even voice them, or simply greeting you with a smile that brightens your day, Fabio is in a league of his own. He made me feel less like a guest and more like part of the Standard family. The spa and pool area are iconic, the food is consistently fresh and delicious, and the design is stunning in its detail and relaxed elegance. But it’s the people – especially Fabio – that elevate the entire experience. If you're coming to Miami and want a stay that blends style, comfort, and unforgettable service, The Standard is the place. And if you meet Fabio – trust me – you’re in the best hands.

My mom stayed at the standard when visiting me in miami! Everything was so nice, including the pool service and spa service. My top suggestion is to use the spa of you stay here and add a massage service with Holly. I have chronic pain as a young adult unfortunately from an injury and Holly completely understood the assignment. She was so sweet and accommodating as well. A must stay in Miami Beach

An unforgettable dining experience by the bay! The atmosphere at The Standard is pure magic — relaxed, elegant, and full of good vibes. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite felt like Miami sunshine on a plate ☀️✨ The service was impeccable — friendly, professional, and genuinely warm. The team made us feel perfectly cared for from start to finish. Whether you come for brunch, dinner, or sunset cocktails, this place delivers perfection every time. Special mention for the amazing waterfront view and the serene energy of the place — it’s the perfect mix between relaxation and fine dining. Highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy an elevated yet laid-back experience in Miami Beach! 💛🍸🌴

The spa is definitely the highlight of staying here! Great, spacious facilities and an impressive services menu. There's also a really nice gym on-site with quality equipment, complete with clean, spacious locker rooms and showers. The pool, cold plunge and waterfall hot tub are quite nice as well. There's also a dock where you can arrange for water experiences. On-site cafe, speakeasy, and restaurant all exceeded our expectations. The main restaurant has a great view, especially at sunset, and the food was outstanding. The common area garden and courtyard are quaint and cozy and offer shaded lounge chairs, swings, and a firepit in the evening. The "resort" is adults only, so there are no children on the property; however, it's pet friendly, so during our stay, there were quite a lot of dogs staying as well. While I found that to be semi-charming, I know that's not for everyone. The dogs were allowed almost everywhere on the property, including the cafe and restaurant. The rooms themselves are bungalow style - simple, yet elegant, but not all fully updated. Also, we came for a girls' spa weekend, and the accommodations definitely favor more a romantic getaway than a girls' weekend in terms of room availability and setup. The bed was also a little firmer than expected. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, and I would definitely recommend it to others - especially the spa experience!

Spent quite a lot for a facial for my birthday. The facial was amazing! Shout out to Andrea who was the massage therapist. The atmosphere was nice except cleaning staff kept walking into the hallway behind the relaxation lounge to take personal phone calls. It was loud and seemed a little much for the amount I spent to enjoy the other amenities of the spa. Also, the man working the front desk in the lobby was horribly rude to our entire party and seemed very put out to be there on Sunday afternoon. It just overall wasn’t as great as I had envisioned and I wouldn’t spend that much again there.

Honestly! If you want a spot to step into like another Miami portal and get away yet still be within the circle of Miami.. This is the spot! You simply talk to the front desk to explore the opportunities this hotel offers with their laid back service it feels like anything is possible for a relaxing night. They have so many lounging options indoor / OUTDOOR.. By the fire on hanging swinging chairs .. So if you need a moment to zone out and playfully discuss life / ideas come to this spot highly recommend!

The overall experience was ok. The room was mediocre and styled like a bleak hospital room from the 1940's. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable that I couldn't sleep the whole night. When we checked out the next day the person at the counter asked us how our experience was and I told him "it was ok, I couldn't sleep the whole night because the bed was so uncomfortable" and he just kind of shrugged his shoulders, didn't really try to care. My favorite part was the speakeasy and the pools. The turkish spa was ok, a bit crowded.

We stayed at the Carillon a couple of weeks ago and had a wonderful time! Beautiful location right on oceanfront with attentive staff all the way through. Everyone from bellhop to front desk, housekeeping, restaurant, and the spa were great and showed care and attention to detail. As well, we slept amazingly each night and found it very cool to learn that every room in the hotel had a Jaspr air scrubber, along with the lobby, gym area, and spa plus wellness rooms. It's a great feeling to stay in a place that takes clean air seriously and the staff were excited and eager to tell us about how the Carillon is the only clean air certified hotel in Miami. Awesome experience and we will for sure return!

The Carillon is our favorite weekend getaway! The rooms are gorgeous, the spa is unmatched, and the whole experience is worth every moment. Our group of six spent the day in the spa and all had incredible massages. Hans and Monica were outstanding—therapists who know the body inside and out. Both went above and beyond to not only relieve tension but to truly restore and rejuvenate us. It was clear that their goal was to have us leave feeling better than when we arrived—and they succeeded. The level of care, skill, and dedication they bring to their work is remarkable. An unforgettable experience we can’t wait to repeat!

I would highly recommend going early, at least an hour before your appointment. I went on a Tuesday so there wasn't too many people. But I'm sure it can get busy. No issues with amenities. Plenty of towels, A Place to soak your feet and have tea, Sauna , steam, cold area with mist, hot tub, pool, cool shower areas! PERFECT AND Complimentary valet and a beach chair and umbrella! Beautiful clean spa! Amazing, relaxing massage done by a caring therapist who loves their job. Everyone was so nice! Thank you!! Highly recommend

The Carillon Spa provides exceptional service and fantastic amenities and beautiful ambience. 5 ⭐️ We upgraded our massage to the Deep Tissue one and it was definitely worth it. Rick, my masseuse’s attention to stretching and concentrating on my problem areas made all the difference that my back even cracked 3 times. What a relief! I would definitely recommend The Carillon Spa over the others especially with the various thermal circuit options provided: 3 different types of “stem rooms”, warm relaxation beds, 2 different types of aromatherapy showers and jacuzzi. 💯💯 Couples please note that the women’s and men’s thermal circuit is separate, but you could get a couples room for the massage and of course enjoy the pool and beach services together.

I booked a spa day for my mom and I through Groupon here and it was an amazing experience! We received a 50 min couple Swedish massage and had access to all amenities, the pool and the beach. The massage was 10/10, we left feeling so relaxed and Barbara at the spa was so attentive and helpful! The food and drinks at the pool were delicious and Lourdes at the pool was helpful in finding us a nice spot with shade. Everything was clean, great staff, punctual with appointments and very relaxing. I 100% recommend!

All the small personal touches like the tablet with your name in the room welcoming you, robes, slippers, valet parking and so many more ammenities! The pool design is something I've never seen before. Nice hot tub, not overly crowded. Lots of sitting places to relax and loved the private entrance to the beach with chairs and umbrellas. Can't wait to try the grown-up roof top pool without the kids tomorrow, along with the spa day with my daughter. I honestly can't say enough about this place. This has been the best stay EVER!

The Biltmore II Condominium in Coral Gables has a rich history, having been opened in 1926 and later serving as an army hospital during World War II. Residents appreciate the friendly staff, strict yet accommodating management, and top-notch security and maintenance teams.
This place is special. It is well managed and cared for. Conscious board who are taking care of issues to make it even better. They are very prudent with the residents money. Glad to live here. Hope to do so for a very long time.

I tried to rent here, was coming from out of Miami. The process with the association seemed very stressful & they def don't work in today's technology- I was told I needed to mail all my documents in (a whole packet of documents). The process was very overwhelming. (Moving as it is is stressful) - I was told after overnighting my packet of documents that I would still need to come in person for an interview to get approved even after we had already paid a deposit & we already had a lease contract in place. The process is a bit too much, bring it down a bit. We ended up finding a different place with no association - & we were approved in 24 hours digital process. 🙈

I came to meet a realtor to view units in 600 Biltmore Way for my mother, but was not allowed inside carrying a 6 lb small dog in a pouch, since these are the rules for visitors and guests. I left my mother having to be wheeled around by other family members and not being able to view the units with her. I am grateful for this building having strict security but I left upset at the fact that I couldn’t get a hold of the property manager in the moment to allow my entrance w the small dog and help my mother with a truly important life changing decision. I am also not happy at the fact that there is no weight limit to the dogs being allowed by visitors and guests since I have a less than 10lb dog I carry. Instead, the building rule does not allow ANY pets to visit. I will voice my concern with my mother which could deter her from making a future purchase of residence at 600 Biltmore Way.

Grapeland Water Park is part of the extensive park system in Miami, offering a variety of recreational facilities. The water park features thrilling slides, a lazy river, and a shipwreck-themed water playground for kids. It's conveniently located near the international airport and provides a perfect family-friendly escape with its water-themed adventures. While it may be smaller compared to other water parks in the area, it's ideal for families with younger children.
Great summer place to bring the kids as they are on vacation. Clean water park, and great for every age. Right now, it is open only seasonal for the summer. Also, the entrance fee is definitely great. Can't bring food from outside, as they have food at the park to sale.

The place is in excellent shape, refurbished like new. It deserves five stars, but the staff make everyone annoyed. There's so many regulations: Not to sit on the border of the pool. Life jackets for big teens even if they can swim. Not to be underwater for a long time. Seriously? Not going to talk about the food. It's junk food everywhere. But they need to relax a bit and let people be.

I love this water park, there are many slides for the kids to play on, a lazy river , and a regular pool for the kids. Me as an adult, I love to get on the slides myself. Easy entry due to organized staff from the gate all the way throughout the park. This is my go to spot for a fun filled day in the water.

The hotel has a rich history of hosting Hollywood stars and contributing to the modern style of Miami Beach. The newly opened farm-to-table restaurant, 1500 Degrees, offers a culinary experience led by executive chef Paula DaSilva.
We had such a great experience at Eden Roc, especially at the breakfast buffet! I went with my husband and kids, and it was the perfect spot for a relaxing and satisfying family meal. The buffet was super affordable—around $35 per adult and about $20 per child, give or take. For a hotel of this level, we were honestly surprised by how reasonably priced it was. And not only was it affordable, but the food was also absolutely delicious! There was a great variety to choose from—fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, and more. Everything was fresh and well-stocked, and the staff made sure everything stayed clean and inviting. We all found something we loved, including the kids, which is always a win. The atmosphere was bright, clean, and family-friendly, with a beautiful view and plenty of space to relax and enjoy our meal. The service was also really pleasant—everyone was welcoming and kind. Highly recommend this spot whether you’re staying at Eden Roc or just looking for a delicious, affordable breakfast in Miami Beach with family. We’ll definitely be back!

A truly wonderful, family-friendly hotel! This review is from the perspective of traveling to Miami Beach with a baby, and in short—I can say this hotel was excellent. Since it shares some facilities with the neighboring five-star Nobu Hotel, the property is beautiful and offers a wide range of amenities. The pool in particular was fantastic—peaceful and calm, with a relaxed crowd, making it easy to enjoy with children. The room was also baby-friendly. A microwave for baby food could be rented for $35 during our stay, and a crib could be reserved in advance. The only drawback was the in-room refrigerator, which was packed with drinks that all incurred extra charges, leaving no space for our own beverages or our baby’s drinks. We requested an additional mini fridge, which was available for $35. A kettle was provided free of charge. The hospitality of the staff was another highlight. Everyone was always smiling and greeted us warmly, which made our stay especially pleasant. Thank you very much for such a comfortable experience!

I had a work conference at Eden Roc. The resort was nice, clean and in a good location. The room was good for the most part - the tub doesn't drain, and ended up being clogged the first time my wife took a bath. The beach access and pools are nice and well kept. The pool staff was great and very nice! What ruined my experience was the main bar. We were here for a work conference and had a few drinks with co workers, and before we knew it they shut the bar down and we all had no idea where our cards were! We asked hotel staff about it and they seemed very indifferent to helping us find our cards. I had to ask for a night manager and he came down and acted like he didn't care either. I told him I'm fine paying my tab, all I need is a receipt and my card back! It took them almost an hour to find my card (security outside had my card for whatever reason). The bar never stopped by the table to tell us that they were closing, or had any disclosures saying they give the cards to security if you don't cash out by the time they close. It was a very unprofessional and disappointing experience. The staff here is on autopilot and they do make it apparent that they don't care about their client's stay. Are they the worst place to stay? No. But I would highly recommend staying at a different spot if you visit Miami as Eden Roc does very poor with customer service. There are plenty of options and I would recommend checking into different options.

I did not have a pleasant experience with this hotel. Compared to other options at Miami Beach, you can definitely find a much more positive and professional atmosphere elsewhere. The staff here do not provide sincere or caring service. Imagine taking an intensive workout class at the hotel and then being told you cannot use the shower afterward — that’s exactly what happened to me. When we spoke to the hotel manager, he acted polite but clearly didn’t care about resolving the issue, just smiled and moved on. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you value genuine hospitality and comfort.

I was here for a work conference this past week. We waited 45 min for the valet to take our cars when we got there. It was like they didn’t realize they were hosting a conference of 200+ people or something. Then, once we all got inside & were late for our meeting, we had to come back later to check in. They only had two people checking guests in, despite having five computers & their resolve for the 30min wait to check in was to give us shots of white sangria. I would rather just be able to check in to my room. During check in we had to sign a paper waiver for something, but it’s 2025, why is anyone signing anything on paper? Once I finally got my room key, I got all the way to the 17th floor just for the key not to work. Had to go back down to the lobby for them to give me a regular key card instead of the wrist band & then they had to call security for whatever reason to make sure I got in the room? The room itself was nice at face value, as was most of the hotel, but once you spent some time in it you found the issues. The shower handle did not stay in place so I had to use a shower cap to tie it in place otherwise I got third degree burns from the water changing on its own. When the valet gave me my car back when I was heading home, I realized they put a giant gash in my steering wheel & had to go back so they could file a claim. When I got out of my car I went to the woman who I knew was the manager and she did not offer one apology, but instead said “it’s a third party valet you have to talk to him”. It’s still your hotel & you are responsible for all of it at the end of the day. You are the leadership & you have a responsibility to your guests. Overall, aesthetically pleasing on the outside, but Walmart/ikea quality once you go a bit deeper. I would never be back & would never recommend this place to anyone else. UPDATE TO TELL YOU ALL THAT THE VALET IS ATTEMPTING TO DENY THE CLAIM FOR DAMAGING MY VEHICLE. THIS HOTEL WILL BE HEARING FROM ME UNTIL THEY FIX MY CAR. INSANITY.

This was my first time vacationing at the Eden Roc Hotel, and I must say, every aspect of my stay exceeded expectations. The in-room dining experience was exceptional — each meal was of outstanding quality, perfectly seasoned, served at the ideal temperature, and delivered promptly. The cocktails were expertly crafted, the staff was warm and attentive, and access to both the pool and beach was seamless and relaxing. I will absolutely recommend Eden Roc to others and look forward to returning for another unforgettable stay.

These guys really should not be in the hospitality business. Went to the property to have what I hoped would be a very relaxing time. Instead, the pool was so over-crowded and there were no chairs available, despite having paid over $50 nightly for a resort fee. What I had hoped would be a relaxing time ended up being a very stressful time. Additionally, the staff told me that my only option was to go to the beach (when I wanted to enjoy the pool) and pay for an umbrella there when I had already paid resort fees which were included in my amenities. The staff at the pool could not care less to offer any hospitality or a solution to the issue. Very disappointing and stressful when paying over $500 nightly for a room rate plus resort fees. I requested the front desk to remove all the resort fee charges and if they do not remove them, I am going to dispute with my credit card. Truly disappointing as this property could’ve offered a much better experience and had the staff and infrastructure to do so, but instead chose mediocrity over excellence. UPDATE: Staff finally got me some beach chairs. Explained that it is first come first serve. I mentioned that I paid for the amenities access and they said so did everyone else and when I mentioned how is it fair that I paid the same as others but did not get the same amenities is fair, they told me I have some attitude. What kind of hospitality and service is this?! Staff seriously need to be fired or not be in this hospitality business.

I really wanted to give Eden Roc Miami a chance despite the mixed reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was just as bad—if not worse—than what others have warned about. The staff were incredibly rude and unhelpful from the start. We had three people in our room, yet were told that each room only includes two beach chairs, and if we wanted a third, we’d have to pay $25—plus $35 for an umbrella, plus $5 tax per item. While we were using just two chairs, a worker came over and removed our umbrella, telling us we hadn’t paid for it. It was humiliating and completely unnecessary. On top of that, the food was mediocre at best—nothing special, certainly not worth the prices. The entire experience was overshadowed by the hostility and poor attitude of the staff, which made it hard to enjoy anything. That said, I do want to mention the one bright spot of our stay: Louis. He was the only attentive and genuinely kind person we encountered. Louis went out of his way to be helpful, friendly, and professional. He’s truly the nicest person ever, and thanks to him, there was at least one positive part of our trip. We genuinely wanted to have a good time and chose to ignore the negative reviews, but now I understand where they were coming from. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing or pleasant stay in Miami—unless Louis is running the show.

Freehand Miami is a trendy accommodation option that offers both shared and private rooms, catering to solo travelers or groups. The relaxed-yet-lively atmosphere of the hostel appeals to those seeking a low-key customer service experience with proximity to South Beach action. The presence of Broken Shaker, an acclaimed cocktail bar, adds to the appeal. Additionally, the Sugar rooftop bar and lounge at the EAST hotel provides panoramic skyline views and Asian-inspired cocktails in a lush Miami cool meets chic Hong Kong setting.
We had an amazing time! Gabriel, Jose, and Lucas were incredible hosts — warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They crafted delicious cocktails inspired by Miami’s vibrant culture, and each drink felt like a little taste of the city. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and we truly enjoyed every moment. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Most beautiful hostel I have been to in Miami so far (well the bar is low lol) but their rooms are actually nice if you can believe it, cozy and spacious, tastefully decorated and they have all necessary outlets and room you need by the bed/nightstand and a cute blanket, two bathrooms, handicap accesible which is awesome and you don't see a whole lot unfortunately!! Spacious and stylish " retro" mini fridge, windows, Sofa with small table is perfect for lounging/working on laptop/hanging out. I love their outdoor pool area, it's a beautiful tropical garden with many trees and plants that you won't feel blazing heat (like it's supposed to! Before humans cut trees, put concrete and ruin everything) Also perfect place for lounging/working on laptop at any hour of the day (but bring mosquito repellent) They have a cold water fountain and a hot water dispenser which saves the day! The staff is generally nice especially the dark haired / light skinned young person with the face/nose piercing (I did not ask the name of this lady unfortunately) but in some hostels employees are so nasty that I can't forget someone who is actually hospitable. The beach right in front is very quiet and chill, more chill than south beach. They have a pool table and a PIANO in the lobby and that is extra points also with the "Alice in Wonderland" painting; They provide soap in the rooms! Feels like a luxury especially since it boasts being free from harmful chemicals, parabens and....sexism. I hope this is true because some other hostels are indeed disgustingly sexist with their discriminatory policies. I did not have that bad experience at Freehand but again I'm a beach person more than a pool person so I might not have enough lived experience to tell. If you are looking to stay away from the craziness and especially obscene noise levels of South Beach, the location in Indian Creek is perfect! Disliked · There is no kitchen so you are kind of dependent on eating out which can get expensive, thankfully plenty of space in the mini fridge in your room to keep your take away leftovers and a few groceries that don't require cooking/preparing. Make sure to bring sweaters and warm clothing because the hallways are freezing! The A/C in the room as well but you can adjust this. I think I got a chest infection / mild cough from the A/C or something in the building, maybe mold I don't know. t's annoying that they only let one stay 14 days every six months but many other hostels in the area also have a max stay. They partner with restaurants which are like " sibling businesses " and pitch you have 20% discount if you are staying at the hostel but in reality since they add a mandatory 20% gratuity, you are just exempt from the extra 20% it isn't a "discount" I don't like these sneaky game of words businesses do around here but I have seen this business model in other hostels partnering with restaurants in the area so nothing out of the ordinary. The good thing is they will let you bring your food and eat it there but after 5PM you can't consume anything on the pool area /restaurant tables, you would have to go eat/drink in the back tables, however if you are just hanging out it's fine! It's a bit silly though because they'll do that even if you just have one soft drink and all tables are empty if past five O' clock. I like their laundry area in between the trees unfortunately only one machine was working, they called repair but for me it never worked, I am still waiting on reimbursement from the outsourced company for the hold they placed on my card which they told me would get back to my card but since its weekend it should probably arrive next week.

I am writing to bring to your attention repeated concerns regarding a front desk staff member in the hostel section at Freehand Miami. I have stayed at the property on and off for years and have consistently observed the same concerning behaviors from this staff member: Beyond rude during the check in process. She acts as though she is doing you a favor by allowing you to stay at the Hotel. Not the typical experience you would expect from someone in the service industry. Especially in regards to guests that are on vacation. Constantly entering dorm rooms without knocking or notifying guests, entering forcefully, causing doors to slam into the wall loudly. Berating or harassing guests over unverified complaints, creating a tense and uncomfortable environment. Explicitly treating hostel guests differently from private room guests. For example, after entering a dorm room in her usual aggressive manner, she has been heard saying, “Well, if you don’t like it, rent a private room.” Repeatedly creating situations that have caused multiple guests to terminate reservations and leave the hostel prematurely. While I understand that some guests may occasionally cause issues, her behaviors affect the vast majority of interactions and are disproportionate to actual problems. This repeated conduct raises serious concerns about guest safety, privacy, and the overall guest experience. I hope this feedback is taken seriously to ensure a professional, respectful, and welcoming environment for all guests. Thank you for your attention.

I booked for the weekend due to my apartment getting painted, when I arrived the girl at the front desk, automatically mede this awful face, then she looked at me said infront of other guest do u have a reservation? Didnt wait for my turn she just poited me out. After i said yes I do she said wait 10 minutes after she made me wait, she said it doesn't show tha u have a reservation, she didnt even look in the system, I said I have both booking and freehand confirmation. She disregarded everything I said she said the the system had bloked me, then she made up this lie about me, stating that I was there three days ago and that I had a problem with a guest, I haven't stayed at freehand in the past two months. This woman was so unprofessional, she said her name is dona im sure thats another lie. After she told me I couldn't stay in a very terrible maner, I called booking and they said they were going to call the property to see what the problem was, I told her booking was calling them, she deliberately walked away from the phone. I mean I have never been treated this way. I have stayed at freehand for the past 7 years traveling back n forth from California to Miami. I thought freehand was better than that, but nope very unprofessional and deceiving. Also now that I mooved to my Miami, I found a Job, so after I made the reservation, one of the female worker who works the mornings at freehand came to my job totally stalking me. I mean this reservation for three night became a total nightmare for me

⚠️ DO NOT STAY HERE – HORRIBLE AND UNSAFE EXPERIENCE ⚠️ Our stay at Freehand Miami Beach was absolutely unacceptable. This place is not safe, and the security staff do nothing when serious incidents occur. During our stay, we were harassed by other guests — one man even urinated next to us and spat at us, and the guard did absolutely nothing. What’s worse, he even shook hands with the man who did it, as if nothing had happened. The following night, the same guard aggressively kicked us out, just because we were sitting at a table where “we weren’t allowed to drink.” His behavior was violent and completely unprofessional. When we went to the front desk to report what happened, no one cared or offered any help at all. This place has no control, no safety, and zero respect for guests. There are no protocols for harassment or violent behavior. 👉 Avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of hotels in Miami Beach that actually respect and protect their guests.

Stopped in for some rest tonight at the Freehand. Room was a mere $37. Located right in the heart of Downtown Miami Beach. Freehand is walking distance to the beach. Has lounge area, outside patio and three different bar areas with plenty of patio seating. Pool is nice and DJ is inside. Most def worth ever penny! Cool hostel experience🌴

The guestrooms and suites are elegantly designed with modern decor and floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing panoramic cityscape views. Wow! I truly felt spoiled here. I came for my birthday and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make me feel special by adding a few extra touches to our stay. Additionally, the hotel is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. The pool was beautiful and relaxing - especially the hammocks! We had great restaurants at our fingertips and also really enjoyed the restaurants at the hotel. The car service was fabulous as well (they can take you anywhere within a 2 mile radius). We also enjoyed Equinox, which we had access to with our stay. I cannot wait to stay here again!!

From the moment we pulled up, everything about this stay was exceptional. The bellman David greeted us with a warm smile and handled our arrival like true hospitality royalty. Check-in was smooth and friendly the front desk team made us feel right at home. Within minutes of settling into our room, Juan arrived with a tray of little gourmet danishes. That personal touch was such a pleasant surprise and set the tone for the rest of our stay. We also reserved a cabana by the pool, and it came stocked with complimentary fresh fruit and a chilled bottle of rosé — the perfect touch for relaxing poolside. The entire property is beautiful and easy to find using Google Maps — valet and parking were a breeze. The pool area is stunning with an amazing view, and the food and drinks on-site are every bit as good as you’d hope. Customer service here is honestly above five-star level. Every staff member we met went out of their way to make our experience unforgettable. Highly recommend this property for anyone who wants seamless service, great food and drinks, and true hospitality from arrival to checkout.

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel operated at a level above the rest. The customer service was nothing short of extraordinary—warm, attentive, and genuinely thoughtful. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the pool staff, radiated professionalism and kindness. Cleanliness was impeccable. The rooms, common areas, and even tucked-away corners sparkled with attention to detail. You could sense the pride in their upkeep—fresh linens, spotless bathrooms, and an overall freshness that made the entire space feel both luxurious and comforting. The amenities were generous and beautifully integrated into the experience. The pool was beautiful and well-maintained, with thoughtful touches like complimentary fruit-infused water and plush towels. In short, this hotel didn’t just provide a place to sleep—it created a complete, immersive experience. It’s rare to find a place where luxury and warmth meet so seamlessly. We left feeling not only refreshed but truly cared for. Rating: 5/5 – A destination in itself. We’ll only stay here in Miami in the future.

My husband and I enjoyed our trip here. The service was top notch. The vibes are great. Laid back and calm and the pool is amazing! If you want a relaxing place to stay in Miami go here. The only downside is the spa is an equinox gym so it’s not as beautiful and relaxed as other locations. Thank you all for a great stay!

Stayed here for a couple of nights at the beginning of July. I had a cityscape king room sponsored by an interviewer and it was pretty nice and spacious. The check-in desk is at the 7th floor (if I remember correctly), and you have to always transfer elevators there to get to your room. There's also an Equinox in the building, on the 4th floor (again, if I remember correctly). They have a nice long pool with lots of seating around, and I went for a swim Tuesday evening around 6:30pm - had it to myself. It's very close to the baywalk, so that was convenient for someone like me who likes to run around to explore new places. When I called an Uber to the airport, he kept getting confused about the entrance to the hotel, and to be fair, it took me a couple of instances of going out on walks too to figure out exactly which one belonged to this hotel. On the way to the pool, you have to walk by a restaurant (Bahia?) and you always get the strong smell of seafood - this was the only thing I didn't like about this hotel.

With 294 rooms and suites, including private oceanfront bungalows and a rooftop penthouse, the hotel boasts Instagrammable interiors in soothing neutral tones with marble bathrooms. The property also features unique amenities such as a bowling alley and an indoor ice skating rink at The Basement nightclub.
Had a great experience from the front desk(Anna), the concierge (Luke?) to the bar tender (Lu) at the market at the Edition. They definitely create memories that last a lifetime. We just stayed for a day before our cruise and plan on coming back just to enjoy the hotel. The view from our room was to die for. Just beautiful. If you want a professional, attentive, welcoming experience this is your hotel. I haven’t even started on the accommodations (pool, gym, bars, restaurant, ice skating, spa, bowling etc). As a Titanium Elite member, I was disappointed with my stay here. Beautiful, well kept property, but multiple things turned me off to staying here again. 1. Hit with a $130 mini bar charge even though I didn't consume anything. When messaging hotel thru app after checkout, they said a member of minibar team would contact me in 24-48 hours. No call back, I had to dispute thru Marriott, still pending. 2. Would not honor late checkout. Even though Platinum members get 4pm checkout, they wouldn't provide anything. 3. While sitting at the pool, my wife had to flag down a server to try and place an order. She asked for a menu, which he brought back, but then never returned to take the order. 4. We asked front desk for an ice bucket and they said they'd send one up. Took almost an hour and a half to arrive. As one of their luxury bougie brands, I expected more. I've had better experiences at Marriott's premium branded hotels at a fraction of the cost.

I’m a Miami local, and this was my second stay at The Miami Beach EDITION — this time for a staycation to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and you truly feel like you’re in luxury accommodations from the moment you arrive. Before our trip, I reached out to let them know it was a special occasion, and VIP Host Sergio Rijo immediately stepped in to make sure everything was perfect. He went above and beyond with thoughtful touches and amazing attention to detail. Having people like Sergio on the EDITION team is such an asset — A+ service all around. As a Marriott Titanium Elite member, I was also impressed that everyone from Sergio to the front desk thanked me for my loyalty and made me feel genuinely appreciated. Those small gestures really stand out. One detail I especially love — and that you don’t see often — is the complimentary coffee in the lobby. Most hotels only offer it early in the morning, but I went down around 11 AM and it was still piping hot and fresh. It’s such a small but meaningful touch that adds to the feeling of true hospitality. I’ve stayed at other EDITION properties, and this might just be my favorite so far. Beautiful spaces, exceptional service, and that signature EDITION vibe — all right here at home in Miami.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful, I don’t even know where to start because everything was stunning. The lobby was very elegant, and our room was spacious, clean, and had a breathtaking sea view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Now, about the staff, every single one of them was incredibly kind and friendly. Morning, noon, and night, they were always smiling and welcoming. Everyone in this hotel treated us so well. The service was impressively fast; anything I requested for the room was delivered quickly. The manager, Jose, was very respectful and helped me with a security deposit issue. I will never forget that. Thank you, Jose! The concierge, Esteban, was also very nice and helpful. He tried to assist me with many things. A big thank you to every single person in this hotel!

The food, staff, and the service was amazing and friendly. The property is beautiful. One specific memory that touched me. While I was eating at one of the restaurants Tropicale, I believe it was the manager Ray or Raymond, but I briefly mentioned to him that I loved the house hot sauce that they had. He later surprises me with a bottle to take home and that kindness, attentiveness and thoughtfulness really made my trip and made my overall feeling about this property as positive. I unfortunately didn't get to say goodbye or thank him. I really hope he sees this and can be recognized for it.

We stayed at the Edition Miami for just one night, and it truly felt like a full luxury getaway! With our Ambassador status, Sergio, our incredible VIP host, was able to upgrade us to a beautiful ocean-view king. When we checked in, we were delighted to find a birthday cake waiting in our room for my husband’s pre-birthday celebration—a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more special. With the resort fee, we maximized our time with two hours of bike riding, front-row beach beds, a pool cabana, and complimentary drinks. Sergio went above and beyond by arranging all of this seamlessly, while also recommending and booking us a spectacular dinner at Mila. The food, ambiance, and entertainment there were unforgettable. On top of it all, Sergio even helped arrange a late check-out so I could conduct a work meeting—an absolute lifesaver. I can’t say enough about Sergio; he is truly the best and made our quick getaway feel effortless, celebratory, and completely memorable. We can’t wait to return!

The only thing I would say in criticism is that the staff don’t always know exactly what’s going on in the hotel but besides that it’s an amazing place. I’ve stayed here over a dozen times for almost 6 years and every time it’s awesome. The beach club is amazing. The pool area is fantastic. The food is great on any standard level, but the breakfast could be a little Quicker. The gift shop is also good. They have lots of cool stuff in there. The rooms are amazing. Try and get a suite with a big balcony view and the bathrooms are awesome big hot tubs. Every time I stay there I’m happy with my choice even though it’s a little on the pricey side it’s definitely worth it

Loved my stay at the Moxy South Beach. The location is ideal, and the rooms, while cozy, are stylish and make the most of the space. Luis at check-in recognized my Marriott status and found me a beautiful ocean-view upgrade, which was such a nice touch. At Serena, I sat at the bar where Nicholas was outstanding—super helpful with the menu, gave excellent recommendations, and his watermelon margarita was incredibly refreshing on a hot Miami night. Great design, great energy, and wonderful service all around. Highly recommend!

The rooms were so small, we all got under each other’s feet and was not a comfortable experience. A couple of days is fine, but we couldn’t stay for more than that. The reception were friendly and welcoming. Although when we asked for an iron that worked, it never arrived. The towels are so small, like the room, that we ended up having to use the pool towels. No wardrobe means you can’t unpack so you’re living out of a suitcase and nowhere to store the cases. The pool was nice and the vibe of the hotel was cool. Love the bikes and the valet was great. Cocktails not so much as they were frozen.

Spunky hotel conveniently located to all the things you want to do in South Beach. Management packs a lot of perk and personality into the hotel from the vibrant pool scene, to the free breakfast and more. As a Moxy hotel, the room sizes are reminiscent of NYC and thus on the very small side. The two queen beds standard room places beds wall to wall with no closet, no room for a suit case, and a bathroom that almost fits one person. It’s tight, but you didn’t come to south beach to stay in your room all day, right?

I only stayed for a night in this place, but I had a blast. This place is very cute, it is well decorated and they maximize the space they have. They had a pool party the day I was there, and it was a blast. Thei staff is beyond friendly and they make you feel welcome the second you get there. Even if you don’t stay there, make sure to check it out. They have a nice Mexican restaurant by the pool and a rooftop that is an amazing spot for sunset pictures and such.

The Serena rooftop was very lovely. The ambience was great and our server Raj was amazing. Very attentive and had a great personality. I went around 7, the weather was perfect, breeze was gently blowing, good music. It was a very nice experience overall.

Yesterday we were in South Beach looking at various hotels for a future celebration for when our friends from out of state visit. I want them to get a real feel for the Miami and SoBe vibe. So we picked Moxy as one of our selections to check out. We parked at their entrance between Collins and Washington streets. There was valet parking as well as a private lot. As we walked around the 1st floor, we were wowed with the intriguing decor that spoke volumes of love of surrealist art and artists such as Dali, Magritte and Ernst of the 1920s. I also love that time period of art deco from 1920-1930, and there is plenty of it in South Beach. That's why the Moxy appeals to me. We decided to stay and have lunch at their restaurant on the second floor, the Serena. There is a very inviting pool area on the second floor with a rooftop restaurant, the Serena. You can sit by the pool and order food from the Serena or sit at the bar and eat. We enjoyed our visit and will put Moxy at the top of our list.

This review is ALL about Stacy, the Director of Front Operations! I stayed at the Moxy South Beach before and after my cruise. Stacy provided PERFECT customer service from the time I stepped through the door to the moment I left to fly home. She was polite, funny, responsive and thoughtful! May every hotel have a representative as AWESOME as Stacy! 🇯🇲🇯🇲

After spending a night in a different Marriott brand located in South beach, the Goodtime hotel, and not having a good time, I moved up the road to the Moxy. And let me tell you it's like night and day, it's obvious to me that the associates and the managers here are very well trained ,and that the owners want them to ensure that the guests are happy. I arrived very early in the morning knowing full well that I did not expect a room to be ready. And there was not a room ready because they had been sold out the night before. But the lovely Stacy at the front desk correctly checked to see if there were any rooms available, told me that there weren't but that she would alert housekeeping and contact me when one was ready. That is what you were supposed to do in a Hotel( I used to work for Marriott I know what you are expected to tell a guest, and what you are not supposed to ever say to a guest. ) And just because she did her job correctly and has a great attitude, I didn't mind waiting. And when someone called the front desk she asked them if they could be placed on hold instead of just saying front desk hold please. You don't know if the person on the other end of the phone that has an emergency and you just automatically put them on hold. The food up in Serena was very good, the drinks were fabulous and the bar staff, led by Brian, are fabulous! I will say that they do charge you a service charge ( which is the gratuity) when you order drinks or food in the restaurant, and they do charge a 3% credit card swipe fee. That is posted on signs, but a lot of people got upset because they didn't see it, and evidently it's a big thing in South florida. Since I was room charging my food and drinks it didn't matter. I did get a coupon for a free margarita with a $30 for the beverage purchase, as well as free appetizer and a $10 food and beverage credit as an elite guest amenity. The rooms are not big and they are really not designed for a long-term stay because they're very minimalistic, with a little bit of modern and maybe mid-century retro thrown in for good measure. But the bed was very comfortable, I even had a little bit of a view of the ocean. The bathroom is decently equipped, the shower does have a combination shampoo and body wash and conditioner. I will say there was a little bit of noise from the music at the restaurant although it ended at about 10:30. I generally don't stay in South Beach, I prefer to stay closer to downtown in the Biscayne Bay/Brickell/Port area, I would consider coming back here but not for more than one or two nights. It was a job well done, mostly due to the fantastic staff. Thanks!

Hotel
Sagamore Hotel South Beach - An All Suite Hotel is a unique boutique hotel known for its art-filled, modern suites and beach access. The hotel offers a Miami Beach pool day pass starting at $40 for adults and $20 for children, providing access to the outdoor heated swimming pool, lounge chairs, food and drink service from the pool bar, fitness center use, valet parking, and daily event access.
Our stay at Sagamore was incredible, but what truly made it unforgettable was the service from Warren he was our poolside server. From the moment we sat down, he made us feel welcomed, helped with our pool umbrella and remembered our preferences, and offered the best recommendations. The attention to detail and perfect timing throughout the meal showed genuine care and professionalism. Beyond the excellent service, Warren’s warmth and personality made the experience stand out. It felt like being looked after by someone who truly enjoys what they do. We left not only impressed by the hotel but also grateful for the kindness and care we received. We’ll definitely return.

My people and I found ourselves in a pinch when we booked a hotel that didn't think we needed running water during the day. Last minute ditch effort to find some hotel rooms led us to the Sagamore and we found Melody at the front desk- thank goodness! Not only did she quickly and efficiently get us the four rooms we needed, she was kind and professional and understanding about what we needed. She truly saved the weekend after long flights and drives. Thank you Melody, for providing the level of service that all guests need and expect. I hope that the Sagamore knows how valuable you are! We received daily check-in texts, our room was spotless, and the staff was hardworking and it was evident throughout the day as you could see them moving, cleaning and doing all in service to their guests. I was told that this was a privately owned hotel, and from what I saw this weekend past, corporate has nothing on them! Thank you again!

The Sagamore Hotel — Looks 5-Star From the Lobby, IS 1-Star in Reality ⭐☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5) The lobby gives a great first impression — clean, artsy, and modern — but that’s where the illusion stops. Once you step into the rooms, it’s an entirely different story. What You’ll Actually Find: Likely hurricane damage and lingering mold smell. The air feels damp and musty, like the rooms have never fully dried out. You can blast the A/C as cold as it gets, but it doesn’t fix the humidity — there’s no dehumidifier, and it feels constantly wet. Old and badly outdated rooms. Large baseboards and walls are dirty, paint is peeling, and everything feels worn-out and neglected. The bathrooms are tired, and fixtures look decades old. Room service is slow and disappointing. Food arrives microwaved and soggy. Don’t expect it to match the photos or descriptions. No flexibility on refunds. Be careful — if you book too many nights, you may not get a refund if you decide to leave early. If you want any chance of that, book directly at the hotel and not through a third-party site. DoorDash and delivery aren’t allowed to your room. You’ll have to meet them in the lobby. To be fair: The front desk staff is friendly and tries to help, but there’s only so much they can do when the property itself is this neglected. Final take: This hotel could be a true 5-star experience if it were fully remodeled — the rooms are genuinely huge, something rare for this part of the strip. But right now, it’s just a tired, damp building pretending to be a luxury hotel. Couples beware: Don’t be fooled by the lobby or online photos. You’ll regret booking more than one night.

Our stay at the Sagamore Hotel South Beach was nothing short of exceptional. We stayed in room 309 and were immediately impressed by how spacious, bright, and impeccably clean the suite was. Traveling with a baby can be challenging, but the team made it effortless — they provided a crib and all the essentials, ensuring our family was completely comfortable. From the moment we arrived, the service was seamless. Carlito at the front entrance deserves special recognition — his warm welcome set the tone for our stay. He was always available to assist with our stroller and made sure we knew about every amenity the hotel offers. The pool area was pristine and inviting, with an atmosphere that felt both relaxing and sophisticated. Baba’s Beach Lounge by the pool is a true hidden gem — the cocktails were incredible thanks to Mickey, Vito, and Irina, and manager Shawn’s attention to detail made everything run flawlessly. The private beach area was equally impressive — clean sand, comfortable loungers, and excellent service that made our days by the ocean unforgettable. This property perfectly blends luxury and family-friendliness. We will absolutely be returning to the Sagamore Hotel on our next trip to Miami.

I was looking for a hotel where I could relax and feel at home after a tiring day of work, and I found it. Sagamore offers a welcoming and unique atmosphere, spacious and well-organized rooms, and the pool area was spotless, with super comfortable chairs and a spacious pool. The bar and restaurants were well-equipped, and the super helpful manager, Shawn, made my experience even better. I recommend it and will definitely return.

Had a great time at this hotel. The hotel is a little older, but the room are large and in a very good location. Directly on the beach and the pool is also fun. All of the staff were very friendly, especially at the pool area. Had a great conversation with Shawn who provided us with excellent recommendations of things to do in the area. Overall a great stay!

Three adults stayed in a "suite"; with two full-size beds in the bedroom; and a full-size sleep-sofa in the living room. Immaculately clean. Comfortable furniture. Convenient layout. The attentive staff responds promptly to all requests; for extra towels and pillows. Per my request; they set up the sofa-bed; before I arrived. They even found a memory-foam mattress topper; to put on the sofa-bed; to increase my comfort.

Mayfair House Hotel & Garden, located in Coconut Grove, has recently undergone a complete transformation to embrace its architectural history and provide indulgent service. The hotel features a rooftop pool with stunning views of the neighborhood's leafy skyline and offers poolside service from the SipSip rooftop Calypso Rum Bar. Guests can enjoy potent cocktails, large format punches, and classic snacks while taking in the iconic architecture. The hotel's convenient location allows for easy access to shops and restaurants in the area.
Our stay at the hotel was unforgettable thanks to David. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with genuine warmth and enthusiasm. He was so generous with his time and attention and went out of his way to make us feel at home. His humor and lightheartedness had me laughing even when I was nervous about carrying my luggage, which made such a difference. David’s hard work and care for every guest truly stand out. He has a rare ability to make people feel seen and valued, and his positive energy made our stay not just enjoyable but truly special. I cannot recommend him enough. He is a star in every way. I’m excited to recommend this spot to family and friends.

The place is stunning! Fernando, David, Tina, Aron, and Fabian with the Valet were consistently helpful, understanding, and anticipated every need. The suite was stunning. The lobby and common areas are just so enjoyable and the street was very walkable. Breakfast was okay. Everything else from rooftop pool, bar, rooms… everything. Great!!

Dates: October 10–12, 2025 Room: Corner Grand Luxe Suite Our stay at the Mayfair House Hotel & Garden was, overall, a mixed experience. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful architecture, lush greenery, and artistic design elements that make it one of the more unique hotels in Miami. Unfortunately, the execution and attention to detail did not quite match the promise of the concept. Noise and Comfort:
For one of the more premium suites in the hotel, the noise level was unexpectedly high. We could clearly hear full conversations from the street below while in bed, which significantly detracted from the sense of comfort and privacy you would expect at this price point. This seems to be more of a structural or systemic issue that management should seriously consider addressing. Service and Staffing:
It was evident that the large wedding hosted during our stay placed noticeable strain on the staff. Service delays and oversights were common, and it felt as though regular guests were deprioritized as the team focused on the event. This imbalance should have been anticipated and managed better by the leadership team. Communication and Housekeeping:
Communication between departments, particularly between the front desk and housekeeping, was lacking. Despite requesting service, our room was never properly cleaned during the stay, and only towel replacements were provided. Reaching the front desk by phone was also difficult, as calls often went unanswered or were redirected without follow-up. Overall Impression:
The Mayfair is an undeniably beautiful hotel with a distinctive and inspiring atmosphere. However, our experience highlighted several operational gaps that need attention, particularly in guest communication, service consistency, and soundproofing. With stronger management oversight, this property could easily live up to its full potential.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The staff went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcomed and supported throughout our stay. They kindly assisted us with setting up a conference room, and even provided coffee and food on short notice — always with such kindness and attention. Everything was handled smoothly, and their hospitality truly stood out. Highly recommended for both business and leisure stays!

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights (Thur - Sun) in early October and while this hotel will surely work for many types of travelers I don't think we'd return. Pros Location - this hotel is right in the action at Coconut Grove. Totally walkable to many great restaurants and shopping. Rooms - the room was clean, so unique, well appointed and comfortable. It had a slight musty smell and was a bit dark for our taste but nothing out of the norm for a subtropical location. Hotel Value - I dont think you'd find a better price for such a nice hotel. The common areas were beautiful and scenic and themselves worthy of the price. Feels like you are in a world apart. Fitness center was plenty for all but the most serious. Cons Noise - there was a wedding/function on Saturday and the music was very clearly audible until about midnight. Prior to Saturday there was some hallway noise in the wee hours but with the event on Saturday this went on louder and later. Other cons would probably be overlooked but this one "cost" a whole star and is probably the difference between returning and not for us. Food - the breakfast and bar food was middling at best. Theres plenty of local options, but this is disappointing if you want to fill a meal or really relax by not leaving (and still eat good food). Note that service was attentive, friendly and we thought the coffee at breakfast was very good. Overall, this was a good experience and we were happy to explore the area with a fantastic room to come back to. Ultimately however, this hotel had a lot of the "scene" we look to avoid at the cost of being a true luxury relaxing getaway.

Quintessential Miami. Tropical, sultry, warm, romantic, delightful. As someone who's visited Coconut Grove all my life and spent a few years living in Brickell, I knew this would be the perfect place to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and give him the true Miami experience. From the evening we arrived to the morning we left, our stay was immaculate. The property itself stuns with its harmonious blend of tropic nature and timeless architecture. It's perfect for sauntering and exploring, with breathtaking moments throughout and plenty of charming seats to take it all in. We grew to love our breakfast routine and strolls through the Grove. On Sundays live musicians echo in the garden, making it so idyllic you'll be hard-pressed to leave. The rooms themselves are moody, thoughtful, and romantic. Like something out of a dream. The decor is plush, lush, and, well, sexy. The bathtub was a certainly a high point, as was the plush vanity where I did my hair and makeup. I've since been inspired by the rich greens and canopy of trees concealing the balcony that I'm attempting to recreate it in my own home. Last but not least... The staff. Fernando, the Mayfair's fantastic concierge, ensured we would have the perfect stay long before we arrived. Chatting with him was like talking to an old friend, and he went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. His recommendations, reservations, and small touches keep me singing the Mayfair's praises- and I long to return.

This place is an oasis. The architecture is out of this world. The masonry is very detailed. The rooms are super spacious and comfortable. The whole hotel feels like you are in the rainforest. Rooftop pool is a must visit, staff up there are hit or miss but the vibe is always on point. Front Desk and Valet staff are super attentive. Fabian working valet is going to offer assistance when needed and Fernando seems to pop out of nowhere when you think of a question. This experience has truly been amazing. I totally recommend Mayfair house hotel.

Great design and location, but service fell short. I stayed here on a trip to Miami and loved the hotel’s striking decor and convenient location. Unfortunately, the service didn’t match: no one at the door offered help with our luggage on arrival; a large event ran late into the night without any prior notice; and basic amenities like towels and slippers were missing at times.

Nice small pool ! And operates from early morning. I like this and that is why I chose the pool. The only bad thing is the rudeness of the personnel. The guard that I met there from my first day in March 2023 just was bothering me about 20 min following me after I said I will give a negative feedback about the way he talked to people and he pointed the finger in the face. So he followed me and started explaining me the newest rules he never told me before. I come at 6-30am or 7-30am as a rule and doing same exercises and swimming. So he started telling me that he didn’t remember me doing exercises. That was funny cause I ve been doing same routine aqua excercises for almost 4 months from March, 2023 and neither him nor other guards never told me there was any problem with that. Rude and unprofessional guards can spoil yr morning. Btw the rules on the wall next to the pool doesn’t have any rule that forbids doing aqua exercises either.

My four year old son and I had a blast at this water park this afternoon! It is a community centre and park that has many aspects, however we went to the aquatic center. It's outdoors, has a pool that has swim lanes and part just open for swimmers, but we stayed in the most fun part - a splash pool with a large playset in it. I wish we'd have found this place sooner in our vacation! There is also a large playground beside the aquatic center that we didn't get a chance to play at but it looked great. Highly recommend!

Nestled along the scenic Miami River, Jose Marti Pool offers a serene escape from the vibrant energy of downtown Miami. This community gem features a well-maintained 25-meter pool with three designated swim lanes, perfect for those looking to enjoy some leisurely laps or engage in more serious training. The atmosphere is peaceful, allowing you to float and unwind while watching boats glide by under swaying palm trees.
Open air pool that belongs to the local community center. Low price (only $3 for an adult) and you get access to a nice pool for it. There aren’t too many lanes and the moment there is more than one person in one lane it gets a bit difficult to do a great exercise. Apart from that I was really happy to find this place.
Csaba H — Google review
Visiting Miami for work, I dropped in for a lap swim. Very convenient to hotels in downtown Miami. Difficult to find info so sharing what I found out: - Open for lap swimming weekdays from 6am. Aqua aerobics at 10am - You enter via park and through a playground. It’s a little confusing! - You write your name and entry time on list and pay the attendant $3. Apple Pay accepted. - Changing rooms super basic (hence 4 stars) and no lockers. You put your stuff at the side of the pool. - Pool heated and well maintained with life guard on duty - 25 metres - Better to Uber from Brickell (5 mins) There was only one other person there when I was there so had a whole lane to myself. Blissful with blue skies and 25 degree air temperature. So don’t let the basic nature of it put you off. It’s worth it and way better than hotel options if you want to do lap swimming. Hope this helps business travellers!

As of 6/13/25, nice 25-meter lap pool serves its purpose! Clean, bench to keep your stuff there. Didn’t check the bathroom.

Very nice park with big pool but they kick everone out of the pool at 4:30 to allow for lap swimming even when no one is there swimming laps. Even when the pool is open for general swimming only a very small area is designated for swimming. The rest of the pool is blocked off. My daughter was very upset that she was not allowed to swim freely in the pool but instead was confined to a very small area of a very large pool. This could be a very nice pool but most of it is wasted space.

Pool employee stated they would be closing early due to an "approaching storm", day was cloudy but there was no rain pronosticated until 6pm and only 40% chance, time at which the pool would've been already closed. We got in and after 10 minutes they said they were closing because of thunder, there was no thunder and no rain at all, even after 6pm. I don't think it's right. If you didn't want to work anymore bc it was a Sunday and was cloudy it's OK, but just don't charge people and then start saying lies just to close. First and last.

South Beach Surf Club, located at the Four Seasons in Surfside, is a luxurious and sophisticated bar that offers meticulously crafted cocktails using in-house ingredients. The emerald-green bar exudes opulence with gilded bellini carts and attention to detail in every aspect of their drinks. While it may be a splurge, the experience is truly sublime. Additionally, South Beach Surf Club offers surfing lessons with excellent instructors like Chucky and Turtle who provide a fun and enjoyable learning experience for beginners.
We booked a lesson for 5 people, who are new to surfing and we had an amazing experience with Taylor who was really sweet, patient and helpful. We spent most of the time in the water trying to take our first steps on a board. Fully recommended!

Hooked me up with a nice board and advice on spots to surf for a reasonable price. Very smooth rental process, they dropped off a board at my hotel and picked it up, and accept online payment (venmo, Paypal, Apple Pay etc.). Chill guys and good communication would def recommend!

NOT AT THE LISTED ADDRESS I had hoped to rent a board here, and I called to check that they would have rentals the day I wanted to get out. I got the voicemail and it said I’d get a faster response texting, so I did that, and they just said they’d have rentals 9-4 tomorrow, so I planned on that. My friends and I got to the address on google maps and it’s a Häagen-dazs. I called and got no response, then tried texting asking where it is since it’s not at the address and never got a response! We asked around, looked around, looked on the beach, but found no surf shop.
