The location of this affordable and chic hotel is awesome! The staff were super friendly, welcoming and helpful. They all spoke English (which was helpful as I do not speak the local language). They were very personalable, add great suggestions, and helped me with my heavy luggage. The location is perfect! I was able to walk everywhere to and from the hotel (old town, the sights, the shopping district, the bridges and the castle. Love the signature decor of NYX and all the modern artistic details. The are in the hall and the common areas were cool. The bathroom sink was too small, and my sink was clogged and very slow to drain.. I didn't mention it to them because I didn't get back to my hotel until after midnight. But I have no doubt they would have addressed it right away had I the time and energy to mention it at the time. Overall the room was a bit too tight but the decor was really cool so I was fine with that.

Phenomenal location in the heart of Prague! Best breakfast of any hotel I stayed at in Europe, actually worth the cost. More than anything amazing staff and service, they go above and beyond to give you a great experience. I had a personal issue with my room and Lewis was extremely helpful switching me to a different (and upgraded!) room. Thank you NYX, I would highly recommend.

This is a great hotel about 3 minutes away from Wenceslas Square. Don't worry about noise as it's on a quiet side street. The staff are professionals. The room decor is funky, but even if it's not to your taste the bed is comfortable, the fridge and bathroom are good, and you're here to tour, not hang out in your room.

Where do I start. Because of a mix up with our room, we received an upgrade. Not sure what the upgrade was, as the room was quite small and probably the the smallest I've ever stayed in. The hotel is quirky with its decor, which I would describe as industrial. The rooms are very functional if you're only using it as a base. Old town square is approximately a ten minute walk away, so location is really good.

The hotel's location is excellent, right on the main shopping streets and just a short walk to the Old Town. The room was quiet and peaceful. The standard was excellent, with an incredibly large and comfortable bed. The breakfast was excellent and varied; nothing was missing, and there was no wait. But the staff deserves the highest praise – they were fantastic! Especially the very friendly Petra, who had the answer to every question and was always willing to help us.

Nice hotel in a nice location with the nicest staff 💖 Left my backpack full of clothes on the train, but Petra and Ilian at the front desk helped me look for it and found it eventually. They, along with Lewis and Mehad, made sure this wouldn't put a damper on our short vacation in Prague. Love them, love the city, and love the hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in a “Suite” for 3 nights and, in my honest opinion, this hotel does not feel like the 4* it’s advertised as. I can see the attempt at an industrial-style design, but for me it came across as cold and uninviting. The room layout was awkward and not convenient at all. By day two the toilet had started to smell, which was unpleasant, and the noise from the central air conditioning system was constant throughout our stay. On the positive side, the bed was extremely comfortable and the location was excellent. The staff were also very friendly and polite. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives ended for us. Having stayed at an NYX hotel previously in another location, which was on a completely different level, this was disappointing in comparison. We won’t be staying here again, and I think there are better hotels in this price range, or even cheaper, nearby.

I stayed in a private room, and unfortunately it was extremely cold as the AC/heating wasn’t working at all. We informed the staff and were told to wait, but it still didn’t get warm. We ended up having to sleep in our clothes and jackets. There was a TV in the room, but without a remote, so we couldn’t use it. On a positive note, one of the staff members (a blonde man) was very kind and polite, which we truly appreciated.

I really can’t recommend Czech Inn highly enough! It was recommended to me by two friends from the US who had stayed here previously, and they were spot on. I stayed for 3 nights in a private room with private bathroom. It was as comfortable as a higher end hotel - with a towel warmer, hair dryer, heat/AC, and everything else you’d need - but at a much lower price. And with the ground floor common area/cafe and basement bar, you get the communal aspect of a hostel so it’s really the best of both worlds combining comfort and socialization. The staff (Alex) was incredibly helpful when I had an issue with my room, and got it sorted out right away. And I thought the location was perfect - it’s a little outside the tourist/Old Town district, but right on a major tram line that will get you everywhere you want to go in about 20 mins. The trams run frequently and on-time, so transport was no problem. My only caution for light sleepers would be try to request a room on the side of the hotel away from the big street with the tram because it’s a little loud. On the other corner of the hotel I had no noise problem at all. I wish I could have stayed longer! If I ever come back to Prague I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

Wonderful staff! Very thankful for their recommendations and generosity. The bar downstairs is very cool and the breakfast is worth it. I stayed in a 12 person mixed dorm and felt very safe.

Great hostel!!! Clean, nice staff, well-situated. There is all you can eat breakfast option for only 7€, which I thought really was worth it. The interiors are also surprisingly nice, given it’s a hostel!

-I like Staff so friendly and helpful. -Food in Breakfast so good, only coffee is not good enough, if it can be better will be so nice. -Location so nice and Tran nearby. -Many Restaurant and Shops around, not Big one like Billa, Alber or Lidl unfortunately but you can take tram. -Internet so fast and accessible all around the building. -Safe Hostel for everyone. -So Clean and comfortable place. -Prices so affordable. -Quite place all the day and night. -Positive Architecture and Lovely Decorations.

We stayed in a private room and had a great hostel experience. The cleanliness and ventilation were very good. There’s a small bar downstairs and they offer various games like foosball for free. It’s a nice environment for socializing. If I come to Prague again, I would choose this place. There’s a tram stop right in front of the hostel, so transportation is convenient. If you prefer to walk, it takes around 30 minutes to reach the central areas. The uphill walk can be a bit tiring

Stayed here with a few friends. Our room was perfect. We stayed in a 3-person room. 1 queen and a twin. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable and kinda sunk in on each side. But whatever. We had a kitchenette, refrigerator, and pots/pans/glasses, a kitchen table and our got housekeeping daily. Hostel was a quick tram to the old town/touristy things. The staff was fabulous and friendly.

The location is great — just a few minutes’ walk from the station and close to the National Museum. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the staff were very nice. The lady at reception even let me check in early since the bed was available, and they also have a luggage room you can use for free after check-out. The room was more like a studio, with a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom. I stayed in a 5-bed female-only room, which was quite spacious with plenty of room for everyone. There’s also a big long mirror, which I really liked, and the heating was on, making the room feel very warm and cozy. The only thing I didn’t like was that the toilet and shower were in the same room. It would be better if they were separate so you don’t have to wait when someone just wants to use the toilet quickly. Also, the tiles under the toilet were cracked and made noise when I sat down — it felt like they could break at any moment. The bathroom also had a slight urine smell, and since the shower didn’t have a door or curtain, the floor got wet after someone showered. There were no bed curtains either, so there’s not much privacy, and when someone came back late and turned on the light, it disturbed my sleep. Overall, it’s not a bad hostel, but hopefully these things can be improved.

Wow! One of the best hostels where i've been to! Modern, well organized, excelent location, nice service, friendly staff and more and more. The rooms are super spacious, comfy beds, huge locker under the bed...each wing of the building has 2 rooms and 3 or 4 bathroom/showers. Highly recommended, no doubt!

Our apartment was wonderful. It is extremely spacious and comfortable. We had some nice views of Prague. The location is very convenient to public transit; one can also walk to many locations. Great value.

I stayed at this hostel and had an uncomfortable experience with the manager. During a casual conversation, I mentioned some concerns I’d heard about farming policies in India and shared my personal opinion about Prime Minister Modi. The manager, who strongly supported him, reacted very aggressively, and the situation became unnecessarily hostile. I felt that my right to express a respectful opinion wasn’t respected, and the conversation turned into a public argument. As a guest, I think discussions of this kind should never lead to a situation where someone feels humiliated or unwelcome. Staff should maintain professionalism and make sure all guests feel comfortable, regardless of differing opinions.

100 percent would recommend Sophies Hostel. They also offer a breakfast with your stay and its very much worth it. The room was clean had lots of space and was a good place to come back to after spending the day out.

My stay at Sophie’s Hostel was fantastic! I had a private room and was blown away by the size of my room, the cleanliness, the AC, TV with Netflix, and generous breakfast buffet for a good price. The overall vibe of the hostel, with the activities, fortune messages and kind staff, also contributed to an amazing experience where I felt right at home. It was my first time in Prague so next time I visit, I’ll be coming back to your hostel. Thank you!

Reception very friendly and easy to speak to, offering advice for travel around Prague when I didn't even need to ask. The service of the cafe was sublime and felt very personal. The drinks and food were delivered in a timely matter, considering the fact I had a business meeting 10 minutes beforehand. The waiters kindly understood that I was in a meeting, and approached me after my meeting, to ensure that I had all that I needed for my work day. The food is also great, especially the mortadella bagel (the mustard is strong, sweet and bloody lovely). The rooms were super clean, easy to get to, and comfortable. The location is in a fantastic place, close to the center. I would really recommend staying at this hotel if you want a pleasant experience.

A very clean and stylish hotel in a perfect location, near the old town, close to the river and trams, yet still quiet. The staff was welcoming and accommodating, and we were greeted with complimentary Prosecco on arrival, which was a nice touch (though we would have personally preferred access to the sauna over alcohol, as we are not much of a drinkers. For a 4star hotel you would expect that the sauna is included in a price. Our room was spacious with a large bed, but the mattress had noticeable dents, which made it less comfortable than expected. On the bright side, the on-site café served excellent coffee and had a lovely, relaxed atmosphere.

I have stayed twice at this hotel now, and having been in many Prague hotels over the past 12 years, this is my favourite by far! The whole building is beautiful, with hidden gems like the 5th floor individual 'library', with a quirky reading seat for one, and the outside courtyard. The hotel is exceptionally clean and the breakfast is excellent, with so much choice (I especially liked the slaw salad with fresh dill and fritatta. The porridge was creamy and added baked apples with cinnamon, delicious!) The rooms are slightly small, but the beds are the most comfortable I've found in a hotel. The rooms with a balcony are well worth upgrading to. Nice touches like still & sparkling carafes of water in the room, fudge when you leave and umbrellas to borrow make this hotel stand out. The service is also incredibly friendly and professional, with a special mention for Barbora at breakfast who was so kind chatting to us, and had been to Scotland too! Such a lovely staff member. We will be back soon, thank you!

Really enjoyed our stay here! The whole hotel is beautifully curated with interesting art and curios dotted around. Our room was really well proportioned, the bed was super comfy and the leafy balcony was GORGEOUS - just what you need to feel a bit of calm after a busy day of sightseeing around Prague :-) The bathroom was really well stocked with lovely products and essential toiletries. The bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us when we checked in was a lovely unexpected touch ❤️ We booked the spa while we were there and got exclusive use of the space which was amazing!! It was so nice to be able to fully relax in there and hop from jacuzzi to sauna to cold water shower and not be navigating other people using the space. Breakfast was great- everything you’d expect with hot and cold options and plenty of fresh fruit and pastries. The only thing I’d improve is better coffee and oat milk out as an option (they do have it, you just have to ask for it!) Would 100% recommend staying here 🙂

This is just a beautiful hotel. What a lovely stay. Your staff are excellent, super helpful. The hotel is decorated to a very high standard. It’s spotless and very well maintained. Hotel was clean throughout. Everything worked as it should. Thelocation made it easy to reach popular sites as well as local eating establishments. Highly recommend this hotel. We heard no noise overnight. The lounge and café were a great spot to unwind after dinner. There are spa services if you are interested, although we didn't indulge.

Wonderful location and lovely hotel. Rooms ,at least the Superior rooms, were EXTREMELY small with virtually no place to unpack and also move around the room. Bathroom was lovely ..spacious and bright. Friends had a comfort room ,without the miniature balcony, and it was much more spacious. Although I would return to the hotel, I would not pay the premium for the superior room.

Really enjoyed staying here, staff were welcoming, comfortable and sturdy beds especially for triple bunks (some hostels I experienced the beds can be uneven) - great facilities including a garden and common area in basement too. Location is slightly away from centre of city in a nice/quiet residential district, but tram with direct line to centre is only 2 mins walk round the corner. Would definitely say again next time in Prague.

I was given a free room upgrade, and one night I was overbooked and they set me up at Sophie's Hostel which was very nice as well. Very accommodating staff. Rooms were fine, very worth for how affordable they are. I found the location very nice for the places I wanted to go, it's a quieter part of the city but fast to get anywhere by bus. Also walking distance to a couple of the cooler and less touristy clubs.

Dormitory rooms of 12 offered the basic essentials at an extortionately low and very good price, though you do have to gamble with potential clean or messy dorm partners. Service was fantastic, with staff being very friendly, both in reception and in bartending in the lounge/bar (Bob). Location wise, as public transport within Prague is very efficient, it offers a fair distance from the city centre (~20 mins).

We love this hostel! Best ever! Sooo cozy place, stunning rooms, always giving you the feeling "being at home". Friendly stuff, I love the atmosphere there. Sir Toby's is always our choice.

I had a great time in this hostel. There are a few places to hang out. You have a tram station nearby to go to the city centre or the train station. The room was clean and the bed very comfy.

This location is excellent close to everything we were looking to do, but just off path enough to say away from the insane noise and crowds. Rooms are great (by euro standards), breakfast is a huge bonus; excellent.

Lo and behold, I think I’ve discovered one of the finest hotels in Prague! The staff members at reception and the breakfast are exceptionally attentive and kind, which made the atmosphere anything but stuffy. As a Catz alum (our college was designed by Jacobsen), I was blown away by the unique, sometimes eclectic design of the hotel itself. And each room (I stayed in three at different points of my trip!) was extremely distinct. From the delicious, very large breakfast to the free pastries, this hotel takes good care to sate your appetite. Oh, and the location, perhaps that was the best of all! Such a quiet neighborhood, filled with beautiful street after beautiful street.

The location and the view from the room are the best. 10 minutes walks from where we wanted to be, central. There is a garage near the hotel. Warm wine in the lobby and breakfast was a variety. The room is clean and well kept. The lobby ladies were friendly

A very nice hotel, perfectly located on the less busy side of the river (which is definitely an advantage), friendly and helpful staff, varied and tasty breakfasts, quite comfortable rooms with very comfortable bathrooms.

We had a great time at the Vintage Design Hotel. We arrived very late after a 22 hour travel day to get to Prague. We were greeted at the desk with hot mulled wine and a friendly face. They offered us an upgrade on our room which was very kind (it ended up just being an additional bedroom which wasn't used, but still, very kind). The location of the hotel was perfect for us. We were right across the bridge from the city center but tucked away on a quite street. The breakfast was delicious each morning and it was a great way to start the day. The bed was a bit firm, but surprisingly for me, it was the best sleep we had on the trip. The rooms and the lobby space were very cute and we enjoyed the 1950s Christmas music that played at breakfast. Overall a very good stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Prague

The hotel is interesting primarily for its design and the efforts of the staff to make your stay at this hotel enjoyable. You will find interesting designs everywhere, even in the elevator!! In the evening you can drink wonderful tasting mulled wine (included in the price), and cookies are waiting for you in your room. Everywhere is clean and beautiful. Of the minuses: cold floor in the bathroom, lack of slippers, lack of bathrobes, very simple although tasty breakfast, Tasteless coffee. A very quiet place, you will definitely get a good night's sleep here. I think this hotel is perfect if you are staying 1-2 nights.

Very well located, this small hotel has a great breakfast service and very friendly staff. The room was somewhat small but cozy, and the bedding was of good quality. It's definitely a very good hotel for a stay in Prague and for getting around on foot. Many thanks to all the staff, who were very friendly during our stay.

Stayed for a few nights — excellent location, everything worked well, friendly staff, clear self check-in instructions, and a tasty, varied breakfast at the on-site restaurant. Note: the elevator is for luggage only, and our top-floor room felt a bit tight. Also, parking (paid) is about a 10-minute walk from the hotel — not a big issue, but good to know in advance. Overall, a very pleasant experience!

I totally enjoyed my stay. The room was small but very comfortable with all the amenities that I needed as a solo traveller. The bed was quite comfortable. The best part for me was, breakfast can be taken anytime between 8am and 4pm. You just need to make a reservation. Even if you have checked out. Keep your bags at the reception and you can have your breakfast. Breakfast was also so good. I had steak with eggs and some Turmeric shot with hot chocolate and a basket of bread. Oh, 2 pieces of chicken too. I opted to have breakfast at 1pm. So it sat well in between breakfast and lunch.

Lovely Hotel, highly recommended. They take care of each detail, the room itself is so cute and cozy, each space of it was thinking to be useful and its design is so "coqueto" I loved the bed, there is nothing as comforting as a good rest, the breakfast at the restaurant is for far the best, any option on the menu is delicious and the staff at the reception make me feel welcomed, my short staying was as comfortable as possible, also thanks to Roman he makes the difference with his attentions. The location of the hotel was perfect, the major attractions are around but still quiet and peaceful enough for good night's sleep. It's a hidden gem, and I will certainly be back.

Stayed here for 3 nights, fantastic hotel with prime location. The customer service was first class and the room although very small was perfect for a single person and had everything I needed. The restaurants downstairs does an excellent breakfast service. This is truly a hidden gem in the middle of all the action in Old Town.

Other than that: The room was to cramped, the elevator is only for SMALL luggage, the bathroom is more like a 3 stars hotel and the rooms look like film set (in a bad way). You just don’t feel like sleeping there is comfortable. The breakfast there is good ig.

I absolutely love this place. Their breakfast is amazing, and their customer service is on point. The rooms are very clean and efficient. Everything is reasonably priced. Small warning for anyone who would require a lift/elevator : there is not one for humans, only for luggage. However, if that is not something you require, I recommend staying here if you are ever in Prague!

My husband and I stayed at The Emblem for four nights last week, and it was one of the best hotel experiences we've had. The team was always very eager to help and we found our room to be clean and functional. The large windows made the room feel very light and spacious. One thing that we might advise the team to look into would be the bathroom sink. It is very cool looking, but the design is such that water doesn't drain very well off of the slab. The two best parts, though, were the location and the breakfast. I would be hard pressed to think of a better location in Prague. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do and if we wanted to return to the hotel in the middle of the day for a rest or to get a jacket, it wasn't really out of our way. Taking the metro to the airport bus at the end of our stay was easy as well. Breakfast was included with the stay and it was fantastic. The buffet was expansive and included a variety of options. We would've been happy with that everyday, but we were also able to order off of an a la carte menu. We each tried a couple of different entrees throughout our stay, but we highly recommend the pancakes, they are amazing! We paid for our stay with Preferred Hotels points, but I wouldn't hesitate to go back and pay cash.

Lovely boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was delicious. Location is excellent, very close to old town sites. Our room was small but clean and with nice amenities like a safe, tea kettle and coffee maker. There's a large area on the lower level with tea and coffee, which provides more space to relax. The staff is great, they even knocked on our door in the evening to see if we needed clean towels or supplies. We overlooked an office building so nights were quiet. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The rooms here are lovely. We were in the terrace suite. It is spacious, comfortable, and the private terrace is lovely. The wait staff are polite, very helpful, and charming. This hotel is very close to many of the main sights we wanted to visit, as well as to excellent restaurants.

From the moment they arrived, Vlad was a constant source of support and kindness, making sure they felt comfortable and cared for throughout their stay. And a special thank you Vladimir and Maty they helped me organize a surprise birthday treat and note for my mom—she was deeply touched. My mom and sister are impressed with attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. I’m beyond grateful for the way they were treated, and I absolutely can’t wait to experience it myself when I visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking not just a place to stay, but a place to feel truly welcomed.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location could not be better for the price (approximately one block from Old Town Square). All of the employees were friendly, helpful, and attentive. They accommodated us with an early check-in too! The breakfast buffet was delicious, but there is also a menu you can order from. We did not dine in the hotel restaurant for dinner, but it looked popular. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with TV, hairdryer, robes, slippers, and room service available (for a charge).

This is by all accounts a wonderful hotel well situated in the city. Our room was very spacious and well appointed. The staff was very helpful and courteous and pay attention to the art displayed throughout the hotel!

I spent such a magical birthday at this hotel with my family! We really enjoyed our stay here and we usually are not hotel people! The rooms were so comfortable and the breakfast was great!

Staying at this hotel was a truly amazing experience. Its central Prague location made getting around a joy, with the metro and tram right on the doorstep and easy connections to the airport. The staff’s warmth and helpfulness were outstanding; they were always there to answer every question. Our room was pristine, and the bed and pillows were so cozy—we slept wonderfully. We loved the daily housekeeping and fresh towels. The breakfast was a delight, and it was a pleasant surprise to find that the restaurant served delicious and affordable meals for lunch and dinner as well. Make sure you take some time for a soothing massage to complete your stay.

The ICON Hotel in Prague was a first rate stay… why so good?? From the moment we arrived, Valeria, the front desk manager could not be more helpful. Val made the difference between a good stay and a great stay and that makes the difference between a 4 star and 5 star experience. The night manager, an African gentleman (I did not get his name) was a great example of poise, grace and personal civility… these are the things that matter!! A couple of staff members walking the building looked like they did not want to be there and when gesturing to enter through a door first did not display courtesy and thanks for the gesture… maybe that’s why they are not in customer facing roles??? A little bit of civility and good manners goes a long way… Rooms were well cleaned and the breakfast was terrific. You won’t be disappointed with the front line service in both the hotel and the adjacent restaurant for breakfast. Everything is within a good walking distance…highly commend this place without reservation!!!

I'm loving my stay at this hotel! The rooms are spacious with plenty of closet and storage space - super comfortable. Plus, having an Indian restaurant right in the building is a huge bonus. Great breakfast options in the morning and a convenient dining option whenever I crave Indian food. Highly recommend!

The hotel is a central location, a short walk from Wenceslas Square and 10-15 minute walk to the main train station. Despite this central location it is very quiet. Staff were friendly at reception and for breakfast. My room felt cold at times due to faulty heating system, but they provided me a heater. The room was generally well equipped, but I didn't like the wooden floor and no chair at the desk. I would stay here again.

Well located hotel in the center of Prague, with a great connection to the public transportation, and surrounded with a various offers for breakfast, lunch and dinner. With a magnificent design, vintage and modern becomes one, giving an outcome of attractiveness and cosy at the same time. The personnel is always ready to help. They will help you out with any demands you might need. The rooms are very spacious, comfortable and very clean. The breakfast couldnt be better. 100% recommended!!

I am writing this review with great disappointment after what had otherwise been a pleasant stay. My two elderly parents, both over 70, asked the reception if they could pre-book a taxi to the train station for the next morning at 6:00 a.m. The receptionist refused to help, saying we had to use Uber, which my parents do not have and cannot easily manage. When we asked if he could call a taxi for them, he reluctantly phoned someone. It turned out to be a single driver he apparently works with, who couldn’t take such an early booking. We then asked if he could call a different number or company, but he flatly refused, saying he was only allowed to contact that one person. I found this response completely unacceptable. In all of Prague, there are countless reliable taxi companies to claim there are none and to refuse further assistance is both disrespectful and unhelpful. For a hotel of this standard, it’s outrageous that guests, especially elderly ones, are left without basic support for something as simple as arranging transport. This experience left us very disappointed and cast a shadow over an otherwise enjoyable day. Hospitality should mean helping your guests, not turning them away when they need assistance the most.

My experience was absolutely brilliant. The prices were pretty reasonable considering the location and the quality of services they provide. Our rooms were cleaned everyday properly and there is always someone at the reception 24x7 in case you need something. We had a train later in the afternoon but we had to checkout before 11 am due to hotel rules. The staff was kind enough to allow us to store our luggage for free so that we can get done with other stuff without the trouble of carrying our luggage with us. They also have very cool breakfast inclusive packages and the breakfast is also really good.

I had a very nice night in this hotel with my girlfriend. The staff is very friendly and provider you with everything you need. The private spa (which you do need to book for additional costs) was the highlight of our trip. Amazing and defenitely coming back here!

Amazing place, location and staff are top notch (especially Hasan, so sweet and helpful 😄). You feel right at home. For this location, the price is completely okay, and the rooms were clean and nicely organized. I felt safe, and so did my friends. This is massive house turned into a hotel. The staff is really nice and helpful. We stayed on the first floor. It can get a bit noisy from outside. We had 2 bunk beds that accommodated 4 people. We enjoyed the stay. The bathrooms could get a bit more lighting, if possible. There is a bus stop close to the property, which is very convenient. Not a lot of restaurants surrounding this property that is open late.

Very clean, very comfortable, very friendly staff. Excellent location. You can easily get anywhere in the city from here. We were in rooms 14 and 16, on the 4th floor. They were very quiet.

I had an amazing stay at the hotel was perfect suit with a view and the space was good. found a chocolate and a welcoming message in my room which was soo cute. got a steamer for ironing which was very helpful, they welcomed us with detox water and Yusif was very helpful in recommending the restaurant places to visit and doing the bookings. The breakfast had variety of dishes and drinks buffet & a la cart menu the lobby design and the music was amazing people came to our hotel just to enjoy the lobby. The location is near tram stop, Pilates studio and 10min to the center. Wanted to thank the team for the service and hospitality

A perfect stay to relax and recharge! Our stay at NH Collection Prague Carlo IV was absolutely wonderful! After a hectic period of work, it was the perfect place to relax and decompress. The atmosphere throughout the hotel is calm and welcoming, and the location is ideal, peaceful, yet close enough to easily reach the city’s main attractions on foot. The spa area was a real highlight: a beautiful pool where you can actually swim lanes, excellent dry and wet saunas, and a lovely relaxation area. Everything was spotless and designed for true comfort. Breakfast was simply amazing, with live music (at least on weekends), a fantastic way to start each day. A special thank you to Eva and Kateřina, who were wonderful hosts every morning. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect, even preparing a custom breakfast for our group of six (including my 7-minute boiled egg! 😅). Their warmth and attention to detail made each morning feel special. That said, the entire team deserves recognition, from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was friendly, professional, and eager to make our stay exceptional. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel — it’s very well located, beautifully designed, and the rooms are comfortable and clean. But what really made our experience exceptional was Nidal. His professionalism, dedication, and kindness truly stood out. He took great care of us throughout our stay. We will definitely come back, and honestly, we’ll come back especially because of him. Rooms are like very small. My bathroom with a bed would be more comfortable. I attach some photos to showcase how dirty and run down the place is with beat up furniture, cracks on the sealing and dirty walls. The icing on the cake is the window, that has no insulation and you can see the curtains flicker as a nice cold breeze waltzes inside to ruin your mood. The hotel staff after complaining to them regarding the above offered 1 hour complementary check out… One more thing. The rooms have no vanity kits. You have to request. After requesting, they didn’t bring them to my room for 2 days and i had to elevate the issue in order to get awareness and a solution. They just do not seem to care. I would suggest that you avoit staying at this overpriced mess, but nice to visit the bar at the ground floor for a drink. When you pay EURO 800 for 3 nights, something better is expected… choose a different hotel to stay at

Perfect location, all major attractions within 15-20 mintes walk. Very quite. Service immaculate ! Staff went out of there way to make stay memorable and comfortable. Required two rooms for our family of 5, triple was spacious (incl. Extra bed) large bathroom and kids enjoyed quite and peaceful night. We had a Premium double, includes all amenities that can be expected. Small balcony added pleasure ! Perfect stay, highly recommended. Will certainly be back. Thanks

Disappointing Experience at Four Seasons Prague – Not Up to Standard As someone who regularly stays at Four Seasons properties around the world, I had high expectations for my visit to the Prague location. Unfortunately, this was by far the most disappointing Four Seasons experience I’ve had. The restaurant experience was especially underwhelming. I was shocked to learn from the restaurant manager that there is no dress code for breakfast — guests are apparently allowed to walk in straight from the gym, still sweaty, with towels around their necks. This lack of basic hygiene standards was reflected in the food quality as well: the breakfast was poor, not fresh, and lacked the variety and refinement one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. Although the team apologized, it doesn’t change the fact that the standard was far below what Four Seasons usually represents. Additionally, I encountered unprofessional behavior from the security staff. I was repeatedly followed and asked to confirm my room number at the reception, which was both invasive and unnecessary. This made me feel unwelcome and judged, a stark contrast to the hospitality I’m used to with this brand. The only positive was the reception staff, who remained polite and respectful throughout my stay. However, this alone cannot redeem the overall experience. I would not recommend this location, and I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously to improve service standards in the future.

Absolutely loved the Four Seasons Prague. The level of service is truly unprecedented. The location is phenomenal. The amenities are top tier. The appointments exceptional. Hands down an amazing experience. Can't wait to return.

Unfortunately 4.5 stars is not an option. This is a nice hotel, in a central location in old town Prague. But for us, FS Prague did not live up to the high expectations associated with the brand. We’ve stayed at other FS in Asia and were really blown away by the service and beautiful properties. Several things fell short for me at FS Prague which started with the building itself, room and the view all of which seemed to lack a “wow” factor. For one, only the river front rooms have any kind of view. We were on the 7th floor and did not have much to see out of our small window. Even the restaurant lacked any significant views. Finally, the service just fell slightly short of the expectations for a FS and a hotel at this price point: On our first evening, turndown service came at 6pm - to which we said we were heading out to dinner shortly can you please return in an hour? To our surprise, the house keeper said “no, this wasn’t possible.” We texted reception through the app to ask for turndown service to come later. The next night, we had dinner on property for nearly two hours and came back to our room at 9 pm to find turndown had not been completed. Why not coordinate this when dining on property? I don’t need turndown service, but I also don’t need knocking on my door at 9:30 either. One of our waitresses at breakfast apparently was friends with a couple that were dining and spent a good 10 minutes chatting while neglecting us and other patrons. And finally, the gym had towels thrown about and used water bottles left on a treadmill. I understand that guests should be more responsible for their cleanliness, but someone from FS should be attending to the space periodically.

Room was quiet and comfortable in all aspects, especially bathroom which have all needful facilities (except dental kit and shaving kit which are free by request). Stuff service was on exceptional level and it is highly appreciated from our side. Location is nearby Carlov Bridge (Karlov Most) and in historical center of Prague. Stayed here for three nights, rooms very basic and unfortunately not much storage space at all but we made do. Hairdryer in the room wasn’t working, but that wasn’t directly an issue for us. Light in the shower quite dark and the shower was slightly likely. Some dust in the room. However, the bed was comfortable and cosy. Location good quiet at nighttime, it’s around a 25 minute walk into the city centre or you can get a tram which are very frequent. There are extra charges for having fresh towels, noise, and spoiling towels/bedding. It was my partners birthday whilst at our stay and they gifted a bottle of wine and a note, which was a nice touch! And on checkout we had a later flight, so staff kindly allowed us to keep our suitcases in their luggage room which is kept locked m, which we appreciated.

The staff were absolutely amazing, and Alexandra was a true highlight. She was kind, efficient, and made me feel more like a guest in someone’s home than just a hotel. I wasn’t expecting much but this hotel met my expectations! The room was cleaned and re stocked daily, quiet at night, 20 minute walk from the centre, the staff were friendly and the bathroom was nice, it was well worth the stay. I did not try the breakfast.

Just back from 3 days in Prague. The hotel is fantastic, location for us was ideal, close to everything but without all the noise and hassle. The room was great, perfect for the two of us, really comfortable bed, yes it looks strange, seemingly a board on 4 pillars, but it's comfort that matters not looks and it's was extremely comfortable, a great shower and tea and coffee, an absolute must for those early mornings , the fridge was great for keeping a couple of bottles of water cooled ready for hitting the town. Really friendly staff, happy to help with anything you needed. Breakfast was fine, had everything we wanted and then some. Aircon was a godsend given the temperature was hitting the 30s. My only gripe would be maybe a few more clothes hangers, 4 isn't really enough for two of you, but that's hardly a negative given everything else about the hotel. We are planning a trip to Vienna, Prague and Budapest next year and in Prague we will be staying at the Royal Court again. A big thanks to all the staff. Mark and Adele.

Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about staying here given the hotel’s rate, but my concerns were completely unfounded. The room was spacious, clean, and even came with a mini fridge. The television was fully functional, allowing seamless streaming of any content. The hotel staff were consistently warm and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. Additionally, the hotel was conveniently located, typically just a 10-minute walk from public transportation.

Currently staying in the hotel August 2025 Cosmopolitan is a good 5 star hotel, and a superb price to value option, maybe the best deal in Prague for tourists who like to spoil themselves with a 5 stars hotel, without spending a lot of their vacation budget on hotel. Overall: 4.5-/5. As a deal- 6/5, great🔥 The grades(1-poor,5 excellent) 1. Rooms: large with a lot of space, have a bathtub, but quite old. 4.5/5. 2. Breakfast: very good, you won’t stay hungry, but the selection is not that great. 4/5 3. Service : great, not the best there is, but not far from that. 4.5/5 4. Location: very good, short walking distance from everything that matters. Good change near by, supermarket near by. 4.5/5.

Good location. Comfortable beds. Decent price for location. Front desk staff not amendable, slow, unhelpful. Very few amenities on site. They list spa, there is no spa. Mediocre restaurant in the hotel. Bathroom and shower were just ok, no shower gel or soap provides. 100czk for a bottle of water on table. With all the other options I wouldn’t consider again.

Why you have deleted my previous comment??? Awful staff and far from a 5-star attitude. Everything was wrong with the whole reservation process, check-in process, the stay, and mostly the check-out process! Upon reservation, they charged my card with much more money than the actual reservation! When we arrived they were unwilling to solve it even after my many messages through booking. Also, I have booked twin beds and they have confirmed it, but on arrival, there was only 1 bed. In the end, they said that they are sorry and they will give me a complimentary parking, but at the check out there was another staff member and they made me pay 40 euros more and said their colleague never offered complimentary parking. All in all, the hotel was very old, smelly, and had dirty carpets, the room was very dark and had a strange noise inside. Stay away from this hotel, if you don't want to ruin your vacation or business trip, as in my case. Instead of having a rest from the long travel I had to deal with some stupidity and uncooperative staff. And not only that but they made me pay something like 8 euros for a bottle of water I drank in my room, which was left on top of the desk. It's the first time I've stayed in a 5-star hotel that doesn't provide complimentary water to the guests. For me, this is not more than a 3-star hotel, even a 2-star based on Western European criteria.

We just completed a 3 night stay , before our 10 day Viking Riverboat cruise. This beautiful hotel exceeded our expectations. Our room was very clean & the bed very comfortable. The housekeeping staff kept our room sparkling clean. The front desk staff were all very polite & professional. I got to meet & have a very pleasant conversation with Veronika at guest relations. The Breakfast Bar is phenomenal, compared to most continental breakfast bars in the states. As far as location, there are many great restaurants, and a big shopping mall, a short walk from the hotel. Highly recommend the Cosmopolitan Hotel, if you're looking for a place to stay in Prague....

We loved this hotel. The room and the bathroom with heated floors and mirrors were a haven and treat after a long day sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was fully stocked with fruits, eggs- scrambled, hard boiled and Sunnyside up, pancakes, beans, salmon, cheeses, cold cuts, yogurt and specialty coffees. Breads and danishes too. The reception desk was helpful and professional. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Cosmopolitan hotel for 2 nights during our short break to Prague on June 25. First of all, the service was amazing! They made all our wishes come true, giving us two connecting rooms on a higher floor with the king-size beds that we wanted and didn't charge us any extra. We even got 2 free bottles of wine from the manager and some chocolates from the staff. The room cleaning was great, and the lobby staff were always friendly and helpful. The guy who helped to store our luggages and the caretaker who fixed a problem in our room were super efficient too. In addition, they gave us an early check-in at 12pm! Regarding to the rooms, our executive connecting rooms, specifically rooms 621 and 622, were spacious and comfortable. The king-sized beds, while firm, were comfortable, and the air cons were strong & performed effectively. The bathrooms were aesthetically pleasing, featuring marble finishes throughout and strong water pressure in the showers. The provided Rituals toiletries were lovely. My only recommendation is the consideration of upholstered seating to enhance the comfort of the rooms. The hotel breakfast was at the Next Door restaurant on the ground floor. The seating was super comfy and the restaurant was really fancy. There were tons of options at the breakfast buffet. What really blew us away was how good the food was – everything was cooked perfectly! We especially loved the fried eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, baked beans, pancakes, blueberry yogurt, croissants, the fresh fruit, coffee, and the fresh orange juice. We've had a lot of hotel breakfasts previously and I've gotta say that this one had the best quality! The hotel is right on the edge of the old town and it's super chill and quiet there. It's an approximately 13-15 minute walk to the Astronomical Clock, and just a few minutes from the main train station. Plus, there are two supermarkets, a great Italian restaurant, and the Palladium shopping mall nearby. Honestly, we'd give Cosmopolitan a perfect 10 for the rooms, service, and breakfast. We've stayed in 15 different five-star hotels and this one offers the best value and most enjoyable stay we've ever had. If you're going to Prague on a relatively tight budget but want to stay in a 5 stars luxury hotel, I'd totally recommend Cosmopolitan! Even if it's a bit of a walk from the main Old Town and the lobby is relatively small. Highly recommended, and thank you to every staff at Cosmopolitan for giving us a perfect break!

Truly lovely hotel. Tucked away on a quiet side street but just 4-5 minutes walking to the square. We were impressed by the service, quality of the breakfast and the accommodations. It was also one of the few hotels that has a full gym. Had a bit of an issue with the toilet that took two requests to resolve but the staff addressed it. They also provided a delightful surprise bottle of wine and slice of cake for my husband who celebrated his birthday while we were there. The customer service was excellent and we would stay again the next time we’re in Prague.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's close to the main square at the old city. The breakfast was amazing, they used really good ingredients and even served sourdough breads. The room itself was very beautiful and cozy, the only down side was the bathroom is built from glasses, which don't give a lot of privacy, so it can be a problem of you're not with your partner.

We loved our stay at Hotel Josef. It’s a great location on a side street that’s much quieter than nearby streets that are much busier, and it’s easy to walk to many of the city’s main attractions. For public transportation (which is excellent in Prague), there are stops for several bus and tram routes nearby. The rooms are spacious and nice, the beds are comfortable, the service is great, and the breakfast is outstanding.

I reckon this hotel must have the best breakfast in Prague, if not ever. Everything was so fresh and delicious and baked on the premises. Coffee was really good too. It’s also in a great location. I would highly recommend it.

Excellent location, a friendly and attentive staff, and a superb breakfast -- and the bed was very comfortable. First rate and you get a lot of value for the money. EDIT: Regarding what I wrote below, the hotel pointed out that rooms with conventional bathrooms are available. Be sure to ask if that's preferable. If you require privacy in the bathroom, this hotel might not be a good choice. No problem if traveling alone, but others should be aware that the bathroom walls are glass, and the sliding door offers little separation from the room. Yes, the toilet is shielded by frosted glass, but it may not be enough for some guests.

We stayed for a week on our first visit to Prague. The location is perfect, a very quiet street, but just a 10 minute walk to the astronomical clock or 5 minutes to the municipal hall. The staff were all very attentive. Our room was spotless. There were plenty of lovely touches for residents e.g. a walking tour, pastries in the library each day etc. Will def stay here again.

We were at the Boho Hotel at the beginning of August. It's a pleasant hotel designed with great taste, with spacious and comfortable rooms that truly give you a homely feeling. The breakfast in the patio was excellent, the reception staff were welcoming, and the spa was superb – highly recommended.

Amazing Hotel & Staff Walking in after a long train ride, the staff were so friendly and attentive. Check-in was seamless and they carried our bags up for us while giving us a tour around the hotel. I stayed here for three nights in October. The location and the facilities were great, but the excellent service is what I’ll most remember. I had a minor issue with my reservation that the manager Dominique quickly resolved with tact and professionalism. Other front desk staff that were especially helpful during my stay were Sergey and Victoria. I want to express my gratitude to the hotel and staff for a very pleasant and memorable stay.

Nice hotel with good rooms! However I would only consider it 4 star. Room 201 smells like cigarette smoke, room 406 has sewage smell. Generally not good service. WiFi is asking you for email in addition to room and name. Receiving Czech spam a couple of weeks after staying there for the first time. Great parking right in the street! Breakfast is probably the weakness of this property. Cooking fumes, varying quality of dishes, generally weird selection of breakfast choices and bad coffee. Director F&B needs to take a look at this. Don’t bother about the „Spa“. Maybe the sauna is great in the winter. Something wrong about the setup of the steam cabin. Tiny pool.

Loved our stay here in Hotel Salvator. We didn't expect how big the room is for the four of us, and the staff were all very kind and accommodating. We loved the location because it's close to a mall for necessities and some shopping, while Old Town and the other attractions in Prague are within walking distance. Lovely hotel with great value — highly recommended for anyone spending a few days in the city!

The Hotel is at a great location and most of the workers speak multiple European languages, which is convenient. The breakfast is not suited for vegans. Halal and kosher eating guests will have to ask specifically about the ingredients to make sure it’s safe to eat.

Centrally located Hotel with large rooms with high ceilings. The suite we were given was easily large enough for a family of four or more. The optional wonderful breakfast buffet is served in the adjacent restaurant and offers a variety of hot and cold dishes, cake, yoghurt, fruit. There is a childrens corner in the restaurant. You won't need a car in Prague but they allow you to rent space in a nearby garage. Best to arrive by street car or taxi.

The rooms were really old,. maintained though. Centrally located property, occasionally felt the need of fans due to hot summers this year (there are no ACs in the city as it is not needed). Since, the property is city centric, you would hear people partying and drunk shouting/ yelling in the middle of the night. Overall a decent experience. Rooms are exceptionally large, one room can fit a family of four - five guests.

Nice old hotel with a charm of old times. We booked directly and we got a very fair price. The breakfast is generally nice. We took the double room which was is very spacious. The reception is very helpful. They booked for us a parking spot in the underground garage as parking can be very tricky. And pets friendly as we have a Toy poodle. We are very happy.

We arrived very early in the morning (around 6 am) after a long trip, and the receptionist, Andriana, was extremely kind and helpful. Even though check-in is usually much later, she managed to arrange our room by 8:30, which we truly appreciated. Overall, the staff were very kind and welcoming throughout our stay. The room itself was clean and comfortable, but the kettle was not properly cleaned, which made it unpleasant — so we didn’t use the kettle or Nespresso machine during our visit. We tried the breakfast on our first day (12 EUR per person) and found it very good value for the price. Also, for travelers, there is a Euroexchange nearby that offered good rates without extra fees.

Rooms are nice and the hotel is nice in design Breakfast is good Reception, it depends on who you fall. Some people very friendly some not at all. location is ok, not good not bad. But I guess it would be twice the price closer to the center so overall it will do for most people. The biggest issues is sound insulation. The Hotel was built cheaply like any hotel to be honest and you can hear every single door banging, if you are close the elevator it is much much worse. The walls are so light that when people close the door the whole walls shakes. So yeah book and you will most likely enjoy but if you are sensitive to sounds ask for rooms in advance far from the elevator. Be aware most if not all single rooms have no ac in the summer and it is VERY hot in them not worth it! winter months it is hot without heating. They provide a tower ventilator but it's very noisy and not enough. Bigger rooms have aircon. Worth the money? Well that depends on you if you do not care about sounds then you will enjoy if you do you should ask for specific rooms, then you will enjoy. Overall for most this is a good hotel.

A three minute walk from the main station, Google maps easily guided me to the place. We booked a family room, which was spacious on any standard. It consisted of large parents room, a large room for the kids and the kitchen, a hallway and a large shower room with a bathtub. All seem newly renovated in style. The staff is nice. The family rooms are not at the main building of the hotel, it's right next to it, and there are stairs with a few steps to get to the elevator. Overall a great experience. We still have 3 more nights here.

I had high expectations because of the good reviews, but unfortunately I was quite disappointed. When I entered the room, there was an unpleasant smell, and the bathroom fan ran 24 hours a day, which made it quite noisy. Although the room looked clean at first glance, there was visible dust on the bedside table, and the shower head was old and not very clean. Overall, I think the hotel needs a bit more attention to cleanliness and maintenance.

I stayed at Hotel Sophie Downtown in Prague, Czech Republic, and while the room itself was decent , clean and reasonably located, the check-in process was an absolute nightmare that soured the entire experience. Compared to my stays in 34 other countries, this hotel's policies were ridiculously over-the-top and invasive. They didn't just ask for my passport (which is normal) but demanded a visa copy and forced me to hand over my work permit as well. Then, when my wife arrived an hour later on a separate flight, they refused to give me a second key upfront, insisting she drag herself to the front desk jet-lagged and all to present her own passport and work permit. Who does that? It's not like we're criminals; we're a married couple on vacation! The staff were polite enough, but that's no excuse for these draconian rules that treat guests like suspects. Sure, Czech law (Act No. 326/1999 Coll.) requires registering non-EU foreigners like us from India, including passports and visas/work permits for police reporting. But demanding documents from both husband and wife separately, withholding a second key, and forcing an in-person appearance? That's not mandated by any law. it's just the hotel's absurd internal policy, probably under the guise of "security." I've never seen anything this paranoid and inconvenient in hotels worldwide, and it's especially frustrating for non-EU travelers who already deal with enough bureaucracy. Just to note , we are a well travelled couple and speaking from my experience of 34 countries we have been so far.

The friendly, welcoming staff made my stay even better. Rooms are very spacious—I stayed in both the main building and the side building, and preferred the side for its cozy, quiet vibe. At $300 for a 3-night stay, it’s an excellent value for the location and amenities. The hotel offers a continental hot breakfast, 24-hour bar service, and convenient grab-and-go snacks. Highly recommend this spot for travelers looking for comfort, convenience, and great hospitality. I’ll definitely be back!

This is the most amazing hotel! I usually don't write reviews but Miss Sophie's stands out! All the way from the service at the front desk down to the complimentary water and chocolate in the room. I even was greeted on the room's desk with a personal handwritten note welcoming me! 10/10! Miss Sophie's is the bees knees! Go there and enjoy, you won't be disappointed!!

The hotel building is steeped in history, yet impeccably maintained. The staff is exceptionally friendly, a special thanks to Ester for the birthday card and cake waiting in our room upon arrival! Room service was prompt and beautifully presented. Housekeeping was excellent, even offering an evening service. We also appreciated the chance to try the unique St. Thomas beer at the Brewery Restaurant, which was a great touch. Kudos to the entire team and management, keep up the fantastic work!

Well we paid for 5stars hotel so I expect 5 stars service and environment. Overall it’s nice and unique, the location the lobby the room the fresh tulips and the breakfast are great. However the entrance is kind of hidden, no 5 stars atmosphere; the toilet in our room has yellow brownish stain and the corner of the wall next to the shower has molded. At this time the garden is closed as well. The some part of the ceiling in hallway is very low, my husband hit his head a few times.

This was the most memorable hotel of our trip to Europe. It’s a historic property with an adjoining monastery, and the building and interior are simply stunning. But what truly stood out was the exceptional service—by far the best among the Luxury Collection hotels we’ve stayed at. We were genuinely touched by the warm, heartfelt welcome from the staff. Even before check-in, the hotel kindly sent us helpful information and restaurant recommendations by email, which was a great help. We joined a tour organized by the hotel that took us through the monastery and nearby churches. It cost €20, but we were told the fee is donated, which made it even more meaningful. Breakfast was a semi-buffet and very satisfying. We didn’t dine at the restaurant, but the on-site brewery bar is an absolute must. We enjoyed historic local beer and had a wonderful evening in Prague. We’ll definitely come back to this hotel the next time we visit Prague!

The Augustine is a beautiful hotel in a central location near many great sites and restaurants. The property is historic and connected to an active monastery. Our check-in process was seamless, our upgraded suite was ready early, which was great, since we arrived early from the US. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating and ready to assist with requests, such as booking transportation to the airport or restaurant recommendations. The housekeeping staff was also excellent, and provided nightly turndown service. Our upgraded room was spacious, quiet and had a nice rustic/historic decor. The bathroom was well equipped, and the air conditioning worked well (important for me). Inclusive breakfast for Bonvoy elite members was great. Most items are ordered from a menu and the options were great, especially the french toast and waffle. The usual buffet is mostly assorted pastries and fruit. We did not dine at the restaurant in the evening, but enjoyed drinks in the courtyard near the Refractory Bar, including the hotels own beer. A highlight of our stay was the tour of the adjacent church and library. The tour is on Thursdays, and lasts about 90 minutes, you can arrange a spot with concierge. A really special experience. I did read a few reviews about noise from the trolleys, we had a rear room, and had no issues with noise. If you are sensitive to road traffic, I’d inquire about a rear facing room. In all, The Augustine is a beautiful and serene luxury hotel located near all of the great offerings of Prague. Hope to visit again one day.

Fantastic luxury hotel in the Centre of Prague. Even though it might not seem that way on a map, it is very well located from a tourist perspective as it is only a short stroll from Charles Bridge, the main attraction and many tourist pursuits on the lesser side of Prague, like the Castle. Everything is made from superior materials and the rooms are otherwise luxurious with a spacious marble bathroom. The service was exceptional. As an example, when my toddler son became sick in the middle of the night, room service came within 5 minutes to change the sheets (that was at 6 in the morning). Breakfast was also great, especially the a-la-care options like Egg Benedict or Sourdough bread with ajvar. Special thanks to Alexandra at reception who dealt with all our requests and needs with great efficiency (we were an extended family with seven members of different ages). Hope to be back again soon.

I wanted to love this hotel. However, we did not have a working phone the entire time we were at the hotel and nothing was done to fix it. This meant that we had to use our cell phone to call down for anything and it was quite difficult. The staff was friendly but nothing was ever escalated to a point where anything was done about it or any acknowledgment for other things like the TV not working until they added Apple TV. This was not five star service. Room service menu was very limited. We stayed in a junior suite and there was a train running right under our room almost nonstop beginning early morning. It is difficult to walk in and out of the hotel property because there is no room between the minimal sidewalk and train that runs along the property line- it's very dangerous. The included breakfast was similar to a Marriott Residence Inn but DEFINITELY NOT 5 Star. Overall, I was not happy with the stay. We travel a lot and I rarely make a review like this. Staff was pleasant but dismissive. Prior to our stay, the hotel requested preferences allergies etc. We clearly wrote that we do not eat pork. Upon arrival in our room the entire hotel room smelled like pork because there was a big pile of pork sausage (salami) and pretzels on the table when we entered our room. I requested that the hotel manager reach out to me so I could discuss these issues, however, it was never escalated and I never received a call or an email. At checkout, again, I explained the problems and requested that someone reach out to me. At check out, I was told that the managers are not in on the weekend and would reach out to me on Monday. We never heard from the hotel management.

Absolutely one of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in. Clean. Elegant. Our room was at the top and we could see the green roofs of the other buildings. The staff are brilliant and the food is fantastic. Great value for money and tbh it blew us away as it was just so gorgeous

Great hotel with great location. Breakfasts are better than competitors in my opinion. Rooms are superb and the building is fascinating. Interiors are great and true to the spirit of Prague. Not to point fingers but again, some competitors are much worse in this perspective. Also, this calm and professional guy Yuri made me and my wife happy with a very unusual request. Our 2 night stay at MO was extraordinary. Perfect location away from the hustle and bustle, very nice spa, very good restaurant. Service was extraordinary. I didn't catch all the names but some of the employees really stood out. I remember a nice young female server at the restaurant, Lea? and Juan. The one unpleasant "individual" (hence only 4 stars) was one of the front desk clerks whose name ends in ....ish (regrettably, I don't remember the whole name but sounded Indian).On arrival I noticed there were no USB ports in the room which in these days is somewhat unusual so I went down and the clerk brusquely and in a condescending manner told me that I will find what I need next to the mini-fridge. It was not what I was asking for and when I went back he was clearly annoyed I was bothering him again and reprimanded me for not travelling with chargers. However, after a while he came back out with the connectors I needed. So I guess all's good that ends well? But is it?

The hotel was rebuilt on the basis of an old monastery. It is very beautiful, with two courtyards, but there are a few functional areas.

On the positive side, the hostel was very clean throughout, and the staff at reception were friendly, helpful, and provided clear information whenever I needed assistance. The location is well-connected to the city centre getting around Prague was quick and easy. Getting to the airport via public transport was also a bit inconvenient due to the hostel’s location, though once in the city, everything else was easily accessible. I stayed at Brix Hostel recently, and while the overall setup was fine, the storage compartments under the beds were a big problem. I had the top bunk, and the storage was located under the bottom bunk, which is understandable but the drawers themselves were extremely rough and difficult to pull out. I had to use so much force that I actually strained my back trying to open them. It’s also very noisy and inconvenient, especially when others in the room are sleeping. Every time I needed something from my drawer, it made a loud scraping sound, and I felt terrible disturbing everyone. On top of that, the drawer wouldn’t even move if someone was lying on the lower bed, the weight made it impossible to open. Overall, I wasn’t happy with this experience. The hostel really needs to fix or replace the under-bed storage system. It’s uncomfortable, impractical, and not what you’d expect when paying for a hostel stay.

The neighborhood was safe and lively, with plenty of restaurants/shops/cafes to explore. I'd highly recommend Brix Hostel to anyone looking for a fun, affordable, and memorable stay in.The Owner of the Hostel were superb Friendly with everyone.

I also lost 30 USD without being able to use any of the services I had already paid for. Such practices are unacceptable and create serious inconvenience for your guests. I kindly request a full refund of my payment, as I did not receive the service that was promised at the time of booking. I hope you will resolve this matter promptly and ensure that similar situations do not happen again to other guests.

It was a terrible experience. One evening, I came back to my room and found someone else in my bed. Someone else had come and laid in my bed. Food was being cooked on the floor 24/7, and the food smelled strongly. Because we didn't have a window looking out, the cooking smell lingered. I don't think I'll stay here again.

We stayed at Brix hostel in June 2025. Upon arrival things looked okay. Then we were led up some stairs and to our room. The room we booked was an all female dorm which it was. However, to get to our all female room you had to enter through another room which was a mixed dorm that we feel completely defeated the purpose as the safety we were looking for dissipated as to leave the hostel, use the bathroom or shower you had to walk through this same room. Not only was it full of men. It stank of body odour and cigarettes. It was dark and it was 8 beds to what felt like a 3 by 3 meter room because of the sheer amount of people staying there. Far too many beds in one space. This wasn’t even the room we stayed in. Our room was a six bed room in half the space. It was cramped and dirty and had used glasses and bags piled on the counter of people’s things. All be it, this could be the uncleanliness of other guests, it still heavily affected our stay. The cabins that the beds were in were painted black so dust and grime was very visible. Not so much as a damp cloth had been ran over it in what looked like some time. The whole place was just tired looking. The showers were cramped and there was a lack of space to put your things as of course it felt completely unsafe to try and walk to your room without getting redressed. Not to mention there was only 2 female toilets on our floor for at least 5 rooms. The good reviews you see are probably a result of them offering free beer to anyone that left a 5 star rating. If I were you I’d skip brix hostel.

We had such an incredible experience at this hostel and would absolutely recommend. Beds were super comfy, and staff was so friendly and helpful. The hostel organized many events at the bar for free drinks/trivia/kareoke and the terrace was so social and fun. The location was great and easy to transit anywhere in the city. The only recommendation we’d ask for is a lock for the womens room and hooks for towels next to the shower stalls so you don’t need to walk through the unlocked bathroom to get your towel after a shower. Brix we loved you so much and can’t wait to come back again!

A very nice hotel, we enjoyed our 4-night stay. Close to the center, there is a bus stop 3 minutes away by feet, Křižíkova metro stop is 10 minutes walk. Good connection to the city even at night. There is also a restaurant downstairs which is a part of the hotel. We didn't hear any noise from the street. Recommended.

Our large group had a wonderful experience at Hotel Victor. The service was fantastic – the staff were always available 24/7 to help with anything we needed. Getting to and from the hotel was also very convenient thanks to the easy access to the tram lines. We highly recommend Hotel Victor for anyone traveling with a big group!

When we arrived, we were given a room in the attic, on the top floor — room 43. As soon as we walked in, we were hit by a strong, unpleasant smell, like damp and mold. The room felt dirty and not well taken care of, as if it hadn’t been used for a while. It only had small windows on the ceiling, so it was really dark inside. The floor was very dirty — you couldn’t walk barefoot or even in socks. The water pressure was super low, sometimes there was no water at all, and taking a shower was a real struggle. We asked to change the room because it was impossible to stay there, and the next day we got another one on the third floor. It was a normal room, but again, not very clean, and the water pressure was still really bad — same problem with the shower. Overall, it was a pretty bad experience at this hotel. The only good thing about it was the price.

The hotel is architecturally very beautiful and has a great geographic location. The staff are very polite and hospitable. However, the room facilities and cleanliness were very poor. The hot water pressure and room heating were inadequate, and the room was not cleaned regularly. Overall, the cleanliness was very weak, and the bathroom and toilet facilities were very bad.

The hotel is lovely traditional mansion turned hotel complete with big staircases and high ceilings. I loved the fact they're still using traditional keys over the more annoying keycard locks. There's the handy power outlet next to the very comfortable beds. Unfortunately during my trip to Prague, I injured my foot and was kind of stuck in my room for 4 days. Eventhough it's listed as a 3-star hotel, the wonderful and kind staff made it into a 5-star experience. A well-earned thank you!

Very good location, good rooms and really nice stuff. The beds are super comfy!!! :) And you can drink coffee and tea anytime The only reason why I gave 4 starts, that the breakfast or 4 Euros is pretty weak, only muesli with milk and bread with butter. Plus, it´s really loud. If you´re a light sleeper, you definitely won´t be able to sleep :(

Our bathroom was little bit smelly, walls were thin and time to time we heard noise from neighbour rooms. The staff were very nice, location next to tram near to metro (anyway mostly we walked to the downtown), free cofee and tea in the hotel, room was clean.

Good value for money. It's like having a private Apartment in Prague without a kitchen. The only down part are the super noisy street - you just can't leave the window open, the toilet ventilation was broken and the toilet cleaning wasn't the best.

The location is very good, the prices are awesome, rooms are very clean and newly decorated- furnished. The staff was helpful and they provide free coffee and tee. Unfortunately it is located near a very busy street so it can be really noisy. The breakfast cost 4 euros, but it wasn't fresh or special, it doesn't worth it!

Everything is good about Dahlia Inn. Friendly staff, clean and new rooms, free coffee and tea at all times, family environment that you would expect from a hotel with eight rooms. We truly loved our stay! Wifi is not the best in the rooms but works good in the reception area.

The team of native English speakers runs a very cool and relaxed hotel. Everything is straightforward and comfortable. The hotel is located about five walking minutes from Wenceslas Square and maybe ten to fifteen minutes from the Old Town centre of Prague. We very much enjoyed our stay at Dahlia Inn hotel and would gladly book again when visiting Prague.

Based on my experience for staying in this Hotel for four nights in April 2019, I will rate it mediocre at best. Following are the reasons: i) No support staff & kitchen - so it is basically an independent flat (air bnb style) ii) Poor response time - Fridge and TV remain non operational during my stay iii) Indifferent approach to the concerns raised - They took around two hours and numerous messages to replace a towel which was torn and dirty

Über Hygiene wird auch gesorgt: Jedes mal wurden selbst unbenutzte Handtücher gewechselt, sodass es hygienischer wirkt. Es hat eine wirklich hervorragende Lage: Nicht weit weg von Einkaufscentren wie Palladium oder Quadrio, vom Hauptbahnhof oder vom Stadtzentrum. Das Personal war gut, die Hotelzimer passend und in der Lobby gab es noch aus irgend einem Grund ein Juweliergeschäfft. Aber amsonsten ist es nur weiter zu empfehlen.

It’s definitely a must visit spot no matter how many people there are. Feel the vibe of the excitement of the crowd and the splendid historic beauty. Must see at sunset or at night I recommend. Beautiful unique statues all along both sides with great views of the city on both sides of the river. Pretty crowded but not any problem. You can pay for a ticket in the tower on the east side once you climb up several levels that will get you to the top for cool views of the bridge.

Beautiful with a lot of sculptures and tourists. Try going in early morning if you want less crowd and enjoy the weather. We went there at 6 am in the morning, then again at 7pm in the evening. And the atmosphere was so different.

Charles Bridge (Karlův most) An absolute highlight in Prague, truly an impressive and historic landmark. Walking across this bridge feels like walking through centuries of history. The view over the Vltava River and the city skyline is just stunning, especially in the evening. I visited on a Wednesday evening in October, it was lively but not overcrowded, just the perfect time to enjoy the atmosphere without the big tourist crowds. You’ll find street musicians, artists, and an amazing vibe that captures the spirit of Prague. ⭐️ 5 stars! A must-see in Prague, both for the view and the history.

Charles Bridge is one of the most magical places in Prague — a true masterpiece that captures the city’s charm and history. Walking across it feels like stepping back in time, surrounded by beautiful baroque statues, the sound of street musicians, and incredible views of Prague Castle and the Vltava River. It’s especially enchanting early in the morning or at sunset when the light reflects on the water and the bridge feels almost dreamlike. Each statue tells a story, and every view from the bridge looks like a postcard. It’s a place where history, art, and atmosphere come together perfectly.

It’s probably the most visited landmark in Prague. The whole area around the bridge is vibrant, therefore the place is always crowded. The details on the statues along the bridge were astonishing.

🌟 My Review of Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague I recently stayed at the Buddha-Bar Hotel in Prague to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Overall, the experience was good, as most of the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the hotel itself has a cozy and unique atmosphere (though it does feel a bit too dark at times). The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from the main attractions, though unfortunately there was some construction around the hotel that took away from the ambiance. That said, there were several aspects that left me disappointed, especially considering the premium price paid: 1. Spa Experience • I booked the “Romantic Getaway” spa suite for 3 hours, expecting a couple’s experience. To my surprise, there was only one massage bed, meaning my wife and I had to take turns. This completely defeated the purpose, and I ended up cancelling. • I was also disappointed to find out that the masseuse came from a nearby massage shop which charges much less — not what I would expect for a luxury hotel spa experience. 2. Birthday Arrangements • I requested flowers and balloons for the celebration and was charged €100. Unfortunately, the flowers had wilted by the next day, which felt unacceptable given the cost. 3. Billing Issue at Check-in • At check-in, I confirmed that the full amount for my stay had been charged, but later another amount was deducted from my account. The hotel justified this as a “separate booking” SOP, but since I had requested an extension before arrival, this should have been handled as one booking, not charged twice without notice. 4. Room Quality • For the premium paid, I expected a more modern and fresh room. Instead, the room felt somewhat used and old, not matching the “luxury boutique” standard advertised. ⸻ ✅ Final Thoughts While the hotel has great staff, cozy charm, and an unbeatable location, the issues with the spa, birthday arrangements, billing, and room condition left me questioning the value. For the premium price, I expected a smoother, more thoughtful, and higher-quality experience. 👉 At this stage, I’m not sure I would choose to stay here again.

What can I say other than this was absolutely stunning! The hotel is more than 20 years old an looks like it was built yesterday inside and out. The service was outstanding living up to the true Budda Bar theme. The staff are exceptionally friendly and make you feel like nothing is too much. In terms of prices I was worried seeing the comments below...this is all un true! The prices are relative to any hotel offering such high level of facilities and rooms. The breakfast was sensational, topped with fantastic staff who offer all kinds of guidance and wisdom on where to go/see during your stay! Ill definitely be back with my family in 2026! I stayed at this hotel for the second time, from August 5 to 7, 2025, in Room 45. Overall, I remain impressed with the location, creative design, and attentive staff. However, I encountered a few notable inconveniences: 1. The hotel is overdue for renovations. Wear and tear are clearly visible and detract from the overall experience. 2. For a hotel with an Asian-inspired concept, the absence of smart toilets—similar to those commonly found in Japan—is disappointing. 3. The lighting and window shade controls are outdated, overly complicated, and unintuitive. The number of buttons is overwhelming. 4. The air conditioning and heating system is old, excessively loud, and doesn’t meet the quality expectations of a premium hotel. I had to physically get up to adjust the temperature multiple times, which gave it more of a cheap motel vibe. 5. While the pillows were among the best I’ve ever used, the mattress was worn out. It caused back pain and discomfort in nearly every joint. That pain disappeared as soon as I slept elsewhere, confirming the issue. Despite these problems, I will definitely return—but only after a comprehensive renovation. I’d even be willing to pay a higher rate if these upgrades were made.

First time my wife and I visited Prague for a 3 day City break and our stay within the stunning Buddah Bar Hotel enhanced the experience. Unquestionably a 5* experience from start to finish. **Staff** Incredibly welcoming, polite, friendly and helpful. Kindly upgraded our room upon arrival without this being requested and allowed us to check out at 1pm due to a later flight time (we offered to pay for a late check out but this wasn’t expected). The little things like this leave a fantastic impression. **Hotel / Room** Stunning decor throughout, which really felt exclusive, ambient and romantic. We stayed in room 23 which faced onto the outer cobbled streets. Room size was very big. Bed incredibly comfy, fantastic mini bar, shower, bath and his / hers sinks, good storage space and we loved the electric curtains / blinds as we have these at home. **Breakfast** Amazing options, highest quality food and presentation on point. The French toast with passion fruit was completely unique and the best we’ve ever had (flavour, textures and presentation). My wife loved the ramen and eggs Benedict. Breakfast waiting staff couldn’t do enough for you. A credit to the business. **Location** Absolutely perfect. Within walking distance of major sights and attractions. A stones throw away from the old town square. Having stayed in many 5* resorts worldwide, we were both incredibly impressed with this beautiful boutique hotel. We will be back! Thank you 🙏

I’ve traveled a lot of places, and for whatever reason I’ve always loved this hotel. The rooms are spacious, the staff are friendly and the rooms are beautifully decorated. I’m coming back 8 years later and I feel the rooms haven’t aged one bit and it’s everything I remember it being and then some. Well done staff for maintaining such a beautiful and unique hotel! I’ll be back again soon!

We stayed at Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague to celebrate my birthday and chose their Romantic Getaway package, which promised a private couple’s massage in a room with a Jacuzzi. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we expected. The package clearly stated a private room massage with a Jacuzzi, but in reality, it was not a couple’s massage at all. Each of us was scheduled separately, one after the other, in the spa suite. For a romantic package, being split up completely defeated the purpose. Considering the cost was nearly €500, we felt misled and decided not to go ahead with the treatment. The flower arrangement and balloons prepared for the birthday also did not last more than a day, which added to the disappointment. The most stressful part, however, was the hotel’s handling of payments. Before arriving, my husband extended our stay by two nights, and when we checked in, we specifically asked the reception to withdraw the full stay amount upfront along with the safety deposit — so that everything was settled clearly. Despite this, the hotel ended up deducting large amounts from our card multiple times during the stay without informing us. Each time, the explanation given was simply “hotel policy.” This lack of transparency is unacceptable, especially for a five-star hotel. Out of respect and professionalism, guests should be told in advance how and when charges will be processed. It is unsettling and can cause unnecessary financial stress, particularly during what is supposed to be a celebratory occasion. On a positive note, the service team on the ground was exceptional. The bell staff, the gentleman who served us breakfast every morning, and the room cleaners were all extremely kind, professional, and attentive. They genuinely tried to make our stay pleasant, and we deeply appreciate their efforts. Unfortunately, despite the kindness of the staff, the misleading spa experience and repeated unannounced deductions from our credit card left us feeling disappointed and losing trust in the hotel. For the price, reputation, and promises of a “romantic getaway,” the reality fell far short of expectations.

Worst experience possible with the wellness.. I purchased a 200euro voucher and booked a 3h spa ritual. After arriving there on time I was welcomed to the spa are and the ritual started with a cold water soaking feet which was supposed to follow with a hot shower but there was no hot water running. The whole procedure was dependent on couple hot showers between massages and obviously it couldn’t happen without hot running water. Reception arrived to spa area to asses the situation and kept me waiting for 45 minutes only to finally tell me we need to post pone to another day. I find it highly frustrating, unacceptable not to mention the receptionist attitude towards me, rude and without offering solutions she kept saying it was an outage a day before.. I am just wondering if I will be refunded for the 200 euro voucher and they said they have called the manager to align on next steps but he did not pick up 😳😳

Golden Well Hotel in Prague is a true gem. The design is beautifully elegant, the location is perfect, peaceful yet close to everything and the room amenities were amazing. The pillows were incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a dream. Breakfast was a highlight, especially thanks to Andrea, our lovely waitress who made each morning feel special. The only downside was that we didn’t feel very welcome upon arrival at reception, which was a bit disappointing for such a high-standard hotel. Overall, still a wonderful and memorable stay that I would recommend.

Wonderful hidden gem of a hotel nestled in beautiful gardens of the castle walls. Roomy, comfortable accommodations with an outstanding staff dedicated to making your stay not only pleasant but exceptional. Since our stay was but two nights and we wanted to see as much of Prague as possible the hotel staff arranged for a guide to spend several hours with us to hit the hot spots and give us suggestions for further exploration. Perfect! And the restaurant is outstanding in selection, service and atmosphere…..the view at dinner, watching the sun set and Prague begin to twinkle before our eyes was only surpassed by the outstanding tasting menu, wonderful wine selection and incredible service! SIX STARS for all: accommodations, food, service and experience. Thanks for all!

We wanted a smaller boutique hotel outside the hustle of the tourists and this place couldn’t have been more perfect. Lesser town is an easy walk to all the attractions but such a happy escape at the end of the day. We stayed here for our honeymoon and it wasn’t excessively luxe, it was something better: it was perfectly romantic and very charming. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else!

Stayed at this charming hotel just minutes from Prague’s Old Town Square — the location is unbeatable for exploring, yet surprisingly quiet for a restful night. 💤✨ The room was cozy and well-kept, and the breakfast spread was a great start to the day, especially the made-to-order omelets! The only downside was the shower — it had a half door, making it nearly impossible to shower without soaking the entire bathroom. Definitely something they should improve by installing a fully enclosed setup. Overall, still a lovely stay!

Our stay at the hotel was overall very good! Everything was spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable. The room was beautiful, nicely designed, and functional. Breakfast was excellent, with a huge variety of fresh and delicious options. The location is ideal — very close to all the main attractions and lovely areas of Prague, which made exploring the city super easy. However, there are a few areas that need improvement. The bathroom door doesn’t provide privacy, and the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak throughout our stay. The spa was disappointing — the massage didn’t feel professional, and the therapists seemed inexperienced. We also ordered room service, but unfortunately the food was very poor and even upset our stomachs. The à la carte dinner at the restaurant wasn’t any better — the dishes lacked both flavor and quality. That said, the hotel itself is clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location. With more attention to the spa and food services, it could easily become one of the top choices in Prague. We would stay again — but probably skip the restaurant and spa next time.

Location is absolutely perfect for sure! Rooms are functional. In the renovated parts and higher floors they are better though cleaning could be improved and it's impossible to take a shower without getting water all over the bathroom floors. Breakfast is awesome,lots of options for everyone. In general I think service could be better. Both in reception and in the restaurant but overall recomend. Enjoy this beautiful city ❤️

Let's begin with great things. The location of the hotel is great, near old town and main train station and you can really visit a lot of stuff just walking, no need of any kind of transportation. I can't say who was more friendly, the stuff in the restaurant or the reception stuff. They all speak perfectly English and they are there for all your questions 24/7. Also hotel can make most of your arrangements, if you know what you would like to see or visit, just ask. Breakfast is also good, but not if you are vegan. In that case you probably need to ask for something special. Now the less great things: We were in the room 644. The room has a big humidity mark under the window and it has very bad small, which probably means mold. Hotel with 5 Stars cannot have molded walls. Also carpet between 2 beds had an awful feet small and the pillows smelled like unwashed hair. 😒. Evan though dinner was great ( we had breakfast and dinner included) it would be nice if the menu with just few choices is daily different. If you stay longer and you like only one of dishes, you are stuck with it every night. And the last but not least, pick up drivers are awful. They are very unfriendly, they don't speak english or just a little and our drive (3 women) from airport and back was very uncomfortable and unpleasant.

This was my second stay at the Grandium Praha Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint. Everything from the location to the breakfast and service made my visit truly enjoyable. 🏨 Location Grandium Praha offers one of the best locations in Prague — just a 5-minute walk from the Main Train Station (Hlavní Nádraží) and within easy walking distance to Wenceslas Square, the Old Town Square, and Charles Bridge. The area is filled with great restaurants, cafés, and shops, making it incredibly convenient for both sightseeing and dining. Despite being in the city center, the surroundings feel safe and peaceful even at night. 🍽️ Breakfast Buffet The breakfast here remains one of the highlights of the stay. The buffet is well-organized, fresh, and diverse, offering a great balance between hot and cold dishes. Hot dishes: scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, roasted vegetables, potatoes Cold dishes: various hams, salami, cheeses, fresh fruits, and salads Bread & pastries: croissants, muffins, cakes, and several kinds of bread Drinks: coffee, tea, fruit juices, and even smoothies The restaurant area is modern and stylish, with reflective ceilings and elegant lighting that create a lively yet relaxing atmosphere. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. The rooms were nice and tidy. Some of the reception staff were friendly, though a few were quite rude and arrogant. Be mindful of keeping your belongings on your person or in a secure place, as we had some cash stolen. This was reported to management and, to the best of my knowledge, handled accordingly and seriously. Just a heads up and an honest review.

Very disappointing experience from a hotel that calls itself 5 stars. We arrived at 6 PM after a long flight, tired and hungry, and hadn’t exchanged money yet. The porter who brought our luggage stood inside the room waiting for a tip, quite rudely. I told him I didn’t have Czech cash, and he said he accepts euros. I gave him €20 so he could return €15, but he only gave me €10 back and kept €10 for himself. I was too tired to argue. There was a minibar with water, beer, and chips on the table. No one told us it was for an extra charge, so we used it, only to find out later it wasn’t complimentary. Even basic drinking water wasn’t provided for free — quite surprising for a “5-star” hotel. The kettle in the room didn’t work either, so we couldn’t even make coffee properly. On checkout day, I tried to exchange the same €10 bill at reception to pay for a taxi. They refused, saying it was slightly torn and that maybe another place would accept it. When I explained that it was the money given back by their porter, they just said, “It’s his money, we don’t get involved.” Overall, a very disappointing experience — poor service, no accountability, and definitely not a true 5-star level. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

My dinner was absolutely delicious, as was the breakfast the following morning — both meals were thoughtfully prepared and full of flavor. Before leaving, I had the pleasure of visiting the hotel’s spa and indulging in a Thai oil massage. It was a rejuvenating experience and the perfect way to end my stay. I wholeheartedly recommend the Grand Hotel Prague Towers to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing visit to Prague. The attention to detail and excellent service made my trip unforgettable. Really loved the hotel and its location. The rooms are quite big and clean. We went there during Christmas and the decorations were on point . They even provided us with Christmas gift of wine and rum cake which is the sweetest gesture. The breakfast was amazing, quite lavish and lots of variety. Location is quite close to metro and easily accessible, lots of parking space.

During our Christmas 2024 stay, we found the hotel to be clean with spacious rooms. While some staff were courteous, others lacked customer service skills and friendliness. But we’re always happy to remind us that the tips were not including in anything that was brought within the hotel. We had requested a family room for two adults and two teenagers (ages 14 and 15), but were provided with a sofa bed that couldn’t be separated, which was unsuitable for our teens. The room seemed more appropriate for two couples than a family. Although housekeeping maintained cleanliness, they did not accommodate our specific timing requests. Additionally, our bathtub frequently flooded due to a blocked drain; despite reporting this issue, it remained unresolved. The food was enjoyable but overpriced, especially considering similar options were available nearby at half the cost. The in-room minibar was expensive and lacked suitable non-alcoholic options for guests under 18. The “spa” was a sorry state. 20€ per person, per 2 hours. The options were not worth the cost & the spa definitely shouldn’t be classed as such. A significant inconvenience was the lack of facilities for guests with late flights. After checking out at noon, we had nowhere to relax while waiting for our pickup. The staff did not permit us to relax in the bar or seating areas, leaving us with limited options for the kids to relax & even get a nap whilst we waited for the late flight. Overall, while we had some positive experiences at the hotel, the issues mentioned detracted from our stay, and we are hesitant to return in the future.

Absolutely love this hotel. From arriving early our luggage was taken care and we can proceed with our day. The room was amazing. Nice comfy bed. Wine and fruit delivered, our room was turned down each evening which was a nice touch. Breakfast has a large choice and very well stocked and hot. The business lounge was fantastic with soft drinks, tea, coffee, wine, beer and snacks available all day. Metro a short walk away and you was in the main city within 2-4 stops. Highly recommend this place

Beautiful hotel, the foyer and bar are lovely. The room had a great view of Prague and a very big comfortable bed. The room had air conditioning which was great as it was 32c. Was able to leave our luggage with the bell boy once checked out of our room as we had a later flight. The metro is a stones throw from the hotel which was brilliant.

Great location near the city center with super friendly staff! The hotel offers massages, which are nice but a bit pricey. The swimming pool on the 26th floor has an amazing view—definitely the best spot! Free parking is a big plus, making it an even better place to stay. The rooms are a bit dated, but the stunning views make up for it. Overall, a nice stay with convenient amenities!

At this price you don't expect a room of this level. I don't understand what the 4 stars were for. The parking lot is not covered and is next to a large construction pit where anyone can walk in and break into cars. During breakfast, I only found dry baked goods, only the pretzel was edible. They should reconsider the breakfast food offer because they could make more of it. The coffee tastes terrible. The window of the room overlooks a football field that we didn't know about, it didn't bother us, although it's not the best view and the window can't be opened. But the fact that they cover the window with a carpet during training is already a pitiful category. We will definitely not come here again.

Overall, our stay in Prague was really good. We stayed at the hotel for two nights. It’s quiet and located away from the city center, but public transportation is very convenient. You can take the tram or bus to get anywhere in the city. The staff were really helpful and kind. Highly recommend — you won’t regret your stay!

Avoid this hotel at all costs. Horrible experience with the staff and the overall stay. The hotel is literally inside the stadium. During a football match, access by car was impossible, and there was absolutely no parking available. The atmosphere was unbearable—extremely loud football fans drinking and shouting all night long. If you value peace, accessibility, or basic hospitality, look elsewhere.

Dislike it. At night was too loud, breakfast poor. Room too old and a bit shabby.: The check-in experience was very good. The receptionists were fast, polite, and even offered me an umbrella, which I found very kind. At that point, I was inclined to give the hotel 4 stars. However, when I entered the apartment, I immediately noticed an unpleasant smell, as if someone had smoked there before. The room itself was reasonably clean, but the furniture and overall condition felt old, worn, and partially damaged. The real issue came at night. Starting around 11:00 p.m. until approximately 1:00–1:30 a.m., I was constantly disturbed by very loud noises, as if furniture or chairs were being dragged across the floor. I could not determine whether the noise was from the room above or below, but it was so loud that I woke up repeatedly and was unable to rest. After a long drive, all I needed was a proper night’s sleep, but unfortunately, that was impossible. The exhaustion even made me feel unwell. From the layout, I suspect the noise may have come from the McDrive located directly below the room. I should note that I did not hear voices or footsteps, so otherwise the surroundings were quiet — except for this continuous, unacceptable noise. Additionally, the bed was not comfortable for me: the mattress was too firm, and even the smallest pillow was uncomfortably large and solid. Because of these issues, particularly the inability to sleep, I cannot give this hotel more than 1 star. While there were positive aspects, a hotel stay without the possibility of proper rest is simply unacceptable

First of all, the crew is absolutely top notch. Fast, efficient, flawless English, very easy to talk to, and always ready to help. Hygiene is at a highest level. Entrance is very clean, very comfy, rooms as well. You've got everything you need and more. (there's even a shoe sponge) We've (my fiancé and i) had an option with breakfast included - absolute home run. Keeps you up and running whole day. Location is a little bit far from the city centre, but is very close to all sorts of public transportation, so you're wherever you want in 25 mins maximum. And the best yet, you get ALL the necessary info from the team that works there. Great team, great hotel, will be back soon!

At first, we had problems with the TVs, but after consulting with reception, this was quickly resolved. Great service! Breakfast was perfekt and Always fresh.

Hostel rooms are a bit worse for wear, I stayed in a 4 bed room and the bunks were pretty rickety. The service was amazing, and more than made up for it! Everyone was accomodating, and their pool+ sauna were amazing ways to relax after long days walking. Additionally, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, with a great variety of foods.

I loved the hostel — the staff was very friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I’d just add that I got the top bunk, and there was no outlet up there to charge my phone. Other than that, everything was perfect. I’d definitely come back again.

Cost-effective. We had a completely safe stay with all of our belongings intact. I recommend bringing a doorlock beforehand to lock the lockers inside the rooms. As quiet and friendly as a hostel can be. Especially suitable for those who travel in groups with 4+ people. The location is good.

I stayed at Nocleg Plus in Prague and I liked everything. The room was clean and comfortable, and I really appreciated the facilities like the vending machines and the pool table. The only thing I didn’t like was that you can hear everything in the building like footsteps or the sound of the radiator. Also, the shower pressure was a bit too strong. Other than that, everything was fine and I can recommend this place.

It was a wonderful experience at this place. The guy on the reception (Vishal) and a female receptionist (Tina) were very polite and friendly. Vishal helped us a lot during the stay, he helped me find out places, explained everything really well, gave us good recommendations about the city spots. We would love to stay here again the next time we visit Prague. Would definitely recommend anyone trying to get a budget friendly hostel with wonderful service, staff and location.

For me, a 5/5 stay. Rooms were super spacious, clean. The hotel was a bit loudy sometimes because of the big School groups but it didn't bother me. Service was good, location too because you can go easily to the centre with a tram.

Nice hotel, although a bit outside the city center. On the other hand, that also brings some peace and quiet, and several trams run right nearby. I had a large superior room, which was clean and comfortable. However, being on the first floor made it a bit noisy, and on Saturday there was some kind of disco or similar under the window late into the night ☺️ Generous breakfast and spacious gym!

Great hotel, using it regularly as a stay for our management. Great location, service, breakfasts. The only drawback is early closing bar, should be at least till 2400, think they margin would still cover one person there. But otherwise, absolutely no points to complain!!! 👍🏻

Had a fantastic 3 day stay. Rooms are luxurious. Staff is smiley and welcoming. Breakfast is delicious and full of variety. Hotel is in a great location, perfect to explore Prague by foot. Excited to be back.

Simple works. No ikea furniture, just a very comfy bed, quiet rooms, great breakfast, hot shower with good pressure. The location is fantastic, places all around, a supermarket just on the back of the hotel, many trams all around to all the areas of Prague. Staff is perfect.

★★★★☆ – A Great Stay at Hotel Hermitage Prague We spent five wonderful days in Prague and stayed at Hotel Hermitage Prague. When booking, we mentioned that we were on a romantic getaway – and the hotel kindly took note of this by upgrading us to a larger room, which fully lived up to our expectations. The hotel was clean and well-kept, and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic – there was nothing missing. Multiple egg options, sausages, warm dishes, fresh fruit, and even the coffee from the machine tasted great. A perfect start to the day. We arrived by car and got a space in the underground parking garage, which was clean, secure, and very convenient. The hotel is located about a 15-minute walk from the city center and Charles Bridge. If you prefer not to walk, an Uber costs around 140 CZK to the center. As a nice bonus, the hotel has a small but modern gym on the top floor with brand new machines – just what you need for a quick and effective workout. We give ★★★★☆ (4 out of 5 stars) because our overall impression was very positive across most areas, and we weren’t dissatisfied with anything. We would definitely consider booking Hotel Hermitage again if we return to Prague

Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during my visit to Prague. The location is perfect to all key sites, tram is just 5 mins walk. Staff is amazing, professional and very friendly. Great customer service, daily house keeping. Checkin and checkout was quick and easy. The hotel is about 40 mins drive from the airport. Good location to stay when in Prague. They even upgraded my room which was amazing

I arrived at the hotel by 8am, and the front let me checked in, which was very generous. The room was tidy, and the location is nice, 15mins approx to the city center by tram. I had took off points for service, since I’d already paid for the breakfast, but when I checked out, they said I had to pay again. I’ve never experienced this before, but understand this was a genuine mistake of an intern. The front offered me a drink coupon and apologised. I hope this won’t happen again in the future.

I had a great stay. I'd say this hotel is perfectly located. It's close enough to the old town square, and the new town, to get to both areas within a 10 to 15 minute walk and far enough away (down a side street) to minimise outside evening noise. There was a good quality breakfast everyday with English and continental styles well catered for. The room was fine. It was clean. The bed and pillows were comfy. But it was nothing special.

Nice place for the price. Amazing staff who were very helpful. Breakfast was good and the room service was well worth the money. No complaints what so ever. Quite close to old town. Prague is extremely walkable so nice to walk to other places nearby.

Amazing staff and location of this hotel. Close to all sightseeing places, most within walking distance . Great location for shopping. Hotel really clean. Lovely bedrooms, good size, mine was really spacious. Excellent buffet breakfast with great timings. Reception staff were so kind and lovely especially Romana who went above and beyond to meet the needs of the guests. Lots of international guests at the hotel and understanding of cultures was really good and respected by staff. I would stay here again if in Prague.

This is a lovely place. A little bit away from the main city centre but very well situated for a short walk to the Old Town Square, with plenty to see along the way. The staff were warm and friendly and the service was excellent. Breakfasts were the only meals we ate but they were plentiful offering hot and cold buffet options. If you're looking for somewhere with an air of class you can't go wrong with the Grand Majestic Hotel.

Very good hotel. Good location, many attractions are just 10-15 mins walk away. Nice room with safe, with hot water stuff for caffee or tea. Breakfast is fine with a lot of choices, staff is kind and helpful. Excellent for business meetings with more conference rooms. No spa nor gym.

The location is very good, easily accessible from the motorway entering Prague from the south. The staff are very welcoming and friendly, the rooms are neat and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, for a hotel that presents itself as pricier than a budget hotel (something that is also reflected in the reception area and the systems used throughout the building), the furniture inside the room is a bit cheap (mismatched colours and shades of wood). And if you travel by car together with a dog, the charges for the Ibis underground parking and the dog are almost as much as the room itself. So yes, it is good if you are in transit and just need a place to rest, but if I were to spend an entire holiday in Prague, I would probably look for another accommodation. Also, despite the staff being helpful and nice, before we arrived at the hotel, we were stuck in a traffic jam on the motorway in Hungary and we tried calling the hotel four times to announce this, but no one answered, so when the motorway was opened again, we continued our journey not knowing whether we would make it in time to keep the reservation.

The staff was very friendly and let us check in to our room before noon. The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to public transportation. Our room was very comfortable, and the good mattress and excellent blinds allowed us to rest well after a day of visiting the city.

The hotel is really nice. We got a twin room. The beds are comfortable. The room was listed as very small. Theres plenty of room for our things, a small closet, and a padded bench. There's plenty of room. The bathroom is very nice. I love the shower.

We chose this hotel due to it's proximity to the perfect clinic, however the building shook when trams passed by, unbelievably loud police sirens, barking dogs, and the room would flash each time a Tesco's advertising back lit screen changed on the street outside. Hotel was fine but just unfortunate local noise problems. Staff were great.

Located Two blocks from the Andel tram & subway stop makes it very easy to get around. We were created by the friendly staff and quickly checked into our room. A clean spacious room with a large area by the windows, with a chair and seating area gave us a place to sit and relax. The breakfast buffet has everything you could want, eggs scrambled or hardboiled, deli meats, a selection of cheeses, cereals, fruit, yogurt, bread and pastries... A bar by reception has a beer, wine or cocktail waiting for you after you come back to your base from a days exploration of Prague many treasures !

The best stuff in the world and very cozy atmosphere. The administrator Petra is always ready to help the guests with any questions. They had an evening live music session which I enjoyed very much!

First time in the country and Prague, it was a smooth check in experience; the room was disappointing and the costs associated with having you driving your own rental car is not fun: 👍🏽lovely and helpful staff 👍🏽nearby mall/groceries ——————————————- 👎had to pay 650 CZK/night to having a parking 👎room is tiny and very old 👎no trash bins in the room 👎no face towel in the bath 👎no mini fridge in the room 👎the double bed is too small 👎pillows are rubbish 👎window blinders/curtains are a joke ————————- Disappointed and no value for your money

Where to begin. Upon arriving we were firstly ignored by the two receptionists, so being polite we waited upon them eventually looking up from their computers/phones when a Czech speaking man came in we were then attend to after him. Arriving around 11am we asked to leave bags in storage, after a roll of the eyes from the “smile team” (their slogan not ours) eventually the door was unlocked for us. When we returned to the hotel again another chore from the staff to provide us with our room key. Then there was the experience of the room. Sparse doesn’t cover it. No wardrobe, no drawers indeed no storage whatsoever only a glorified rail rack with 5 hangers and 5 open shelves for two people. Two flimsy towels and one thin pillow pp were provided. We asked for two extra pillows and towels, the pillows remained but the towels were removed for cleaning and not replaced. When booking through love holidays it was advertised as having a bar, indeed there is even signage within reception that indicates that there is a bar but I can assure it was not found in our week long stay. There are other things that the hotel could do with improving but it would makes this a longer review than it is. In summary Prague was a great experience and amazing city but the hotel on the other hand was a complete disappointment. The “Smile Team” more like the Grim Team.

The room was very good and clean. The hotel is convenient to travel to, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Even when my flight was delayed and I arrived very late at night, they were kind and helpful. The location is excellent and easy to access. I accidentally left my glasses at the hotel, and the staff quickly checked, found them, and even helped arrange to send them back to my country. I truly appreciate their support. Highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is in a good location. 10 minute walk to Wenceslas square. Metro, tram and buses just a short walk away. 10 minute walk to the river as well. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. It was my birthday during my stay. Upon returning to my room on the afternoon, a cake and drink had been put in there by a member of staff with a note wishing me a happy birthday. That was a very nice touch and it was very much appreciated! Many thanks.

The hotel is Well positioned in town both for transports and walking /sightseeing. Staff very helpful and friendly. We had a twin room. Much smaller than shown in pictures on website, ditto for the bathroom. Mainly there was a monumental lack of places for our suitcases and to place things. Bedside tables had only 1 surface and were small, two people in the room but only 1 chair. Ditto in the bathroom where there was no space for bag of toiletries, or to hang pjs when showering. Also: only 1 bathtowel each, only 1 pillow for each bed, and no shower cup but nice shampoo and hand/shower wash. We had to ask for extra pillows and towels (can't have a shower and wash your hair and only have a medium/small size thin towel. Also, shower walls and drain could do with a very good scrub to remove black mould /yellowy stains/spots on grouting. When room was done, mugs and spoons were left behind dirty. No clean ones given. We had to ask for them again with extra towels. Good choice at breakfast with a range of sweet and savouries as well as good choice of breads and rolls. unfortunately the tea was undrinkable but a large selections of fruity ones. Rooms were also very hot, too much, uncomfortable, even when lowering thermostat. We had to keep window open at all time. Strange decoration of ceiling that looks mouldy .(Can't find option to upload picture)

We stayed at Ibis Praha Wenceslas Square, right next to the Novotel, and had a wonderful experience. We want to thank Renata and Dann for being so kind, understanding, and genuinely caring during our stay. Their warm attitude and great service made us feel very welcome. Highly recommended!

This hotel has a very good location. Very close to the metro and tram stations, just a 15-minute walk from the historic centre of the city. The rooms are small, but quite sufficient for a short break in Prague. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I must also praise the cleanliness of the rooms.

The Ibis Wenceslas was well located and easy to find. Close to both metro and tram but also walkable to the majority of the tourist attractions. Good size rooms, easy check in and good breakfast.

We had a free upgrade to an Executive room, which was very nice. Receptionists speak fantastic English. Breakfast was basic but satisfying. Dressing gowns, slippers, hairdryer and toiletries all provided in room. Happy to store our luggage for free after check out. The location was a bit far from the main city attractions, but easy to use trams come regularly right outside the hotel!

There was a little mix-up with the rooms when we arrived, but they quickly fixed the issue. The hotel is nice, but old and noisy (pipes, neighbors, night life). Because of the noise, I wouldn't take an executive room again if we were to go back, if that makes sense. The room also had a bathtub instead of a standing shower, and the shape of it made showering a little inconvenient. The room isn't bad at all. It's spacious and well decorated, it's just a matter of preference I think. The best part about the room is that it's on the executive floor and they offer snacks in the afternoon. The location is great, lots of buses/trams around, cute shops, restaurants, laundromats, etc. The breakfast was good, and so was the service!

5 Night visit to Prague. We upgraded, for 15 euro per night, to room 5E on the Executive Floor. It was a large room directly above the flagpoles at the front corner of the hotel. The windows were huge, lovely high ceilings and a very large bathroom with a double sink and dual head over-bath shower. Tea and cakes and fresh fruits were served on the Executive Floor between 4-6pm daily. Breakfsts we plentiful and good. Not the most varied selection we've had, but none the less there was more than enough for all bar the most fussy eaters (and yes, we did hear one muppet exclaiming that 'There's nothing for me to eat here!', unfortunately these types manage to pop up just about everywhere we've travelled). The only minor downside was that the high-speed internet was anything but, so we just reverted to our eSIMs and it wasn't an issue. Excellent location for using Prague's superb public transport system for heding into the city further, the tram stop is less than 100m up the road from the hotel. Very easy access from the airport on Bus 59 or 119 and then Tram 26. The staff here are hard working, the hotel was alost at capacity - in early October, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were particularly impressed with the room that we upgradrd to, definitely worth the extra cost.

The hotel was mediocre overall. It might be acceptable for its price, but I’m certain there are better options in the same range. One receptionist, in particular, was unhelpful—everything we asked for was met with a “no.” No extension cord, no extra blanket, no outlets in the room except in the bathroom, and no information about the parking spots right in front of the hotel. The rooms are very small, and the staff didn’t make any effort to address issues. We couldn’t even get a single teabag from reception. The only positive was the breakfast, which was genuinely good.

I’d give Hotel Belvedere in Prague 4 stars with my review weighted on the value for what I paid. The location is excellent, the hotel is clean, the staff are friendly, and the breakfast each morning was wonderful, complete and even better than I expected. I’m seriously jealous of those coffee machines and wish I had one at home! 😀 The bed was too firm for what I’m used to, but the pillows were comfortable, and while the decor felt a bit dated, some may find that charming, just not quite my taste. I also appreciated having a rotating fan in my room since I’m used to air conditioning. My room had excellent storage capacity, making it easy to settle in. One thing to note is that my room had a small step-up enclosed shower with two doors that didn’t open very far, which might be a concern for those with mobility issues. Overall, a great stay with excellent value, and I would recommend it for its location, service, breakfast, and comfortable accommodations.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Belvedere Prague. The location is perfect – close to the city center and easily accessible by tram, yet in a quiet and peaceful area near Letná Park. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with plenty of choices to start the day. What really stood out was the staff – very friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Overall, great value for money. I highly recommend Hotel Belvedere to anyone visiting Prague – it’s a perfect mix of comfort, location, and hospitality.

It’s hard to call this place a real hotel, 4 stars seems too much. The best thing is the location. It’s easy to go anywhere in Prague, and public transport and shops are close by. Breakfast has a fair variety and is good enough. But the hotel really needs renovation. The rooms are dark and the facilities are very basic. What bothered us most was the noise. The hallways have no carpet, so you hear every step. You can also hear people talking in the hall or other rooms very clearly.

The iron gate is definitely one the best hotels we have stayed at. We are still here for another 4 days, but in the short time we have been here we have enjoyed some amazing food in the restaurant. The staff are so friendly and professional, and are always happy to help. The rooms and hotel is immaculate all the time with a team of staff constantly cleaning and making the place feel welcoming. We would definitely stay here again, and would absolutely recommend the hotel to friends and family. Thank you to all the staff at the Iron Gate Hotel. Jack, Lisa and William.

Came for my 40th birthday trip with my bestie. Excellent choice! Stayed in the Goliath Suite which is a two king bed suite with living space. Loved the decor, felt old world without being old. Has a private stairwell (circular) that felt magical. The bedding was awesome, I’ve never had pillows so large. The TV connects to the internet/streaming. The shower was an interesting setup that I felt doused the bathroom but we made it work. There’s a towel warmer right there so never cold coming out of the shower. Staff was awesome. Patrick helped us the most. He greeted us on arrival and walked up the stairs with our luggage with and when we left. He even walked my luggage to the uber when the uber refused to drive all the way down to my pick up point. Thoughtful staff all around. We paid for the daily breakfast and it was a great choice. Served until 10.

Excellent hotel great location and very quiet rooms. We had a junior suite which had a huge bed and nice bathroom. Only lacked a good light for the room. Bar was expensive so we avoided it. Otherwise can fault it.

Location is unbeatable. Close to all the attractions but still quiet where you can get some undisturbed rest. They let us check-in early which was a huge plus. Our suite was very spacious but I hated the tub with the half door where the entire floor ends up wet after a shower. The restaurant and bar are nice. We were greeted by Patrick who was very friendly. He made us feel welcomed and carried our luggage up for us and came to get our luggage when we were leaving. The elevator only goes to floor 1 and not zero so he made sure we didn't have to pick up and carry our luggage up and down the stairs ourselves. He made our stay much more memorable, always greeted us with a smile and was available to help.

Patrick was a lovely gentleman and welcomed us as soon as we got there. Room was fabulous with a very unique style. Breakfast was really lovely with plenty of choice. Highly recommend this place

Lovely hotel and perfect for a starting point to visit Prague . I do recommend here and the staff all helpful and Patrick at the end helped up with our baggage . The rooms are comfortable and even though the hotel is centrally located . The rooms are very quiet . It’s less than 5 minutes walk to the beautiful town square and less than 10 minutes to Charles Bridge .

The hotel is absolutely beautiful and cozy, with a charming old-world style - the atmosphere is just fantastic! Really enjoyed the stay overall. But there were two things that were honestly disappointing. First, charging for water in a five-star hotel? Not even a complimentary bottle in the room? That just feels stingy. Second, €52 per night for parking - that’s more expensive than in Monaco! For Prague, it’s just unreasonable. When parking costs a third of your nightly rate, something’s off. I hope management takes note, because details like this really take away from an otherwise wonderful experience.

We’re having a wonderful time – the place is absolutely beautiful! The Jacuzzi was surprisingly fun, and the rainforest shower felt amazing, like a relaxing head massage. A special shoutout to Hordii for the excellent service in the garden during breakfast. He was incredibly friendly and helped make our stay, as well as our guests’, truly memorable. Thank you, Hordii! We’ll definitely be recommending the Grand Mark Prague. Those peacocks are very cute!!

We didn’t stay at the hotel, but we came for a romantic dinner. The interior is cozy and intimate, with enough privacy for each table, which creates a wonderful atmosphere. Our unforgettable dining experience was made special thanks to Miss Mariana, who took great care of us. Let’ come back during the summer time enjoying beautiful baroq garden.

​We spent two nights at The Grand Mark Prague in the spacious Bohemia Suite on the 7th floor. Upon arrival well after midnight, the welcome was warm and professional, and the room was exceptionally clean. The hotel’s location is excellent. However, a series of service issues made our stay feel far below the expected 5-star standard. ​The first major disruption occurred at 9 a.m. on the first morning when the cleaning lady entered the room and woke us up. While we missed setting the "Do Not Disturb" sign after a late arrival, it was surprising that a high-end hotel would not warn late guests about such an early cleaning schedule or check room status before entry. ​This sense of prioritizing internal tasks over guest comfort continued at breakfast. Staff were aggressively and constantly cleaning and setting tables right next to us (barely 30 cm away), repeatedly spraying water on tablecloths to smooth them out - an oddly distracting and seemingly endless activity. None of the staff stood aside to let us pass, and they even tried multiple times to clear away an unopened yogurt, demonstrating a jarring "we will do our job, whatever it takes" attitude. ​Adding to the functional inconveniences, the elevator was not working on a busy Saturday evening, which would have been a frustrating climb after a long day walking the city. We appreciated being granted a late check-out, but even the departure was impersonal: the front desk lady failed to ask the basic question of how our stay went, denying us the chance to offer any feedback. ​The physical property and location are fantastic, but the repeated lapses in operational etiquette and guest communication turned what should have been a luxury stay into an average, and at times, uncomfortable 3-star experience.

We stayed at The Grand Mark Prague as a family, booking three rooms – and every single one of us was absolutely thrilled with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. You can genuinely feel that each member of the staff is committed to making your stay perfect. Their attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism truly made us feel special. The rooms were spacious, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable – everything we needed was there. Spotlessly clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. Breakfasts were outstanding – delicious, varied, and beautifully presented. A real highlight of the day. And the hotel’s private garden with peacocks? Simply magical. A peaceful oasis right in the heart of Prague. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet moment surrounded by nature. We can’t recommend this hotel enough – everything was beyond our expectations. We will definitely be returning!

My stay at The Grand Mark Prague was absolutely exceptional. I stayed for two nights and was genuinely impressed by the service and attention to detail. One of the standout features was the in-room service — every time we stepped out, staff came in and replaced the used water bottles, coffee pods, and tea without us even asking. It’s rare to see such thoughtful, consistent service. The rooms are spacious, as are the bathrooms, and we were lucky enough to receive a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise. Breakfast was another highlight. Unlike many hotels where you have to wait in line for items like omelets or pancakes, here you can simply place your order and it’s brought to your table — a small touch that made a big difference. The courtyard adds to the charm, with beautiful greenery and even peacocks walking around. Finally, the location is ideal — close enough to walk to the city center, yet tucked away just enough to be quiet and peaceful at night. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Prague and looking for comfort, quality, and a great location.

So about 400$ for 1 night. By far the best thing about this was their beds 🛌 the softest bed especially after a long flight. Other than that it’s normal amenities. Food was very good and breakfast was superb. You are welcomed with a complementary drink which is very nice. The biggest thing about this is location. Right in the heart of the City!

This is a beautiful property, great amenities, beautiful room with great walk in closet in our suite. Very comfortable bed, great breakfast buffet. The peacocks are so beautiful, the garden is well maintained and the piano seems to always have someone playing. It's a great place to call home while visiting Prague!

Booked the hotel for two days at the reception. The price was very reasonable for a last minute booking. Didn’t pay for breakfast. The location of the hotel is very ideal because everything is around in a walking friendly distance. If not a fan of walking then the public transport is right next to the hotel. If arriving with a car the parking is not for free. They offer a garage where you can park your car and charge 600 kc a night.

No hotel parking – only supermarket lot, waited an hour for a spot. Room next to elevator, constant noise. Paid for upgrade – just a slightly bigger box. Breakfast? Cold cuts, bread, 1 egg – that’s it. Parking ticket didn’t work, wasted an hour running between hotel and gate. Worst part: I left a white hoodie, cleaners were there, but staff “found nothing.” Felt like theft. I’ve stayed in many hotels – this one is a disaster. Never again.

The value for money is absolutely not in balance (price of a luxury hotel for an average hotel). The hotel is quite nice but nothing special. The rooms are modern and clean but very simple (e.g. no safe, no mini bar). The breakfast is lacking any kind of hot dishes (only continental breakfast). The rooms facing the street are a bit noisy due to the tram passing frequently.

The hotel has an excellent location and the service is ideal for what I'm looking for. The breakfast is not interesting, but that definitely doesn't affect my experience.

I’ve stayed at better Motel Ones before but I have to admit this one is surprisingly good considering is a 3 star hotel. We never stay at 3 stars hotels because it would be a hit or miss but this hotel definitely has 4 star hotel amenities at a very low price. The lobby is pretty, the chandeliers and teal decor give it a nice elegant touch. Rooms aren’t fancy but they’re clean and modern enough. The location is great! Surrounded by shops and main attractions are only a 10 min walk.

Nice room, comfortable sleeping. Great location, easy walk to attractions and food. So funny that Europe is hyperventilatingly "environmentally conscious" yet the tub is the size of a tennis court, I could completely lie down in the bathtub (I'm 5'9") and it took nearly a half hour to fill. It was FABULOUS. I'd recommend and stay there again.

This hotel is great value-for-money and has an unbeatable location if you want to stay in the Old Town, as it’s a 15/20-minute walk from all the emblematic sights in the city center. It’s also conveniently well-connected to tram, train and metro lines. The check-in and check-out was smooth and quick. Staff is friendly though I didn’t engage with them much as I was only there to sleep and rest basically, which is why I didn’t enjoy other facilities/services in the hotel either. I booked an INNSIDE Room, which had views to the “courtyard”, but we were on a 4th floor so there was still plenty of natural light coming in. The room was clean and spacious enough for two people, and the bed is big and comfy. The bathroom was also fairly big and it had a bathtub. Bathroom amenities provided were hand wash, body lotion, body wash and conditioner/shampoo. One thing that it stood out as well is that the mini bar in the room is completely free-of-charge, they refill the water (still and sparkling) if you have room service daily and there were also 3 other bottles of juice but we didn’t drink them. It also had so many shelves and closets so make sure you check them before leaving. The AC and the safe worked well. We didn’t have any problem during our stay. The decor of the hotel is modern and chic. They also sell some items such as toothpaste, mugs, small souvenirs … Overall, I’d stay here again because the price matches the quality you get, and I would definitely recommend it to other travelers as well.

The rooms were very well decorated, I especially loved how creatively designed the bathroom was!! The service was incredible and very kind. The best thing about the hotel was its location, five minute walk to the biggest shopping center in the city and Praugue’s center right around the corner!! Love it and will visit again!💗

Room is clean and tidy, pretty quiet. Love the bed, it’s very comfy, pillow is way too big but than the small one is way too small. The bathroom is great with rain shower. The only bad thing about the room is the ac, even we set to auto or the lowest for fan, it’s still very noisy, but like my friend said it’s like white noise, if you are ok with that. The breakfast is pretty nice with lots of options for protein, fruit, juice and bread Last but not least, I want to say thank you for the staff who look after us, your friendly smile bring us joy.

We traveled with our dog (a Labrador) and were very pleased. Good location. The room was comfortable, and there were free drinks in the fridge. And for our dog, we got a bed suited to his size, treats, and a toy, which made him very happy.

The service was superb. The receptionist during check in was very nice and helpful. I like the idea of having free minibar and the coffee machine was great. Very clean and well organized hotel. The hotel is located near a mall and accessible to 3 major grocery stores. A few good restaurants and cafes near the hotel and you can easily access all public transportations.

Great location in the Old City. 10 mins walk to the station and main transport links and only a few minutes to the river. Lots of good restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Convenience store opposite for all your essentials. The hotel itself is an older building that has been refurbished. Rooms are comfortable as is the restaurant, which does a very good breakfast. Thanks to all the staff for your friendly and exemplary customer service. Uber cab to the airport £17 midday on a weekday. Highly recommended.

Very affordable and satisfactory if you're a budget traveler and don't plan on being in the room much. The breakfast had a good variety and was fresh. If you're going to book this place, use a third party booking site so they can't overbill you. Their reservation system just takes your credit card info and someone bills you later. They charged me something way over what I had confirmed on the reservation. It took several phone calls and emails for them to address because they were so argumentative and each individual gave me a different story about the excess charges, none of which matched the invoice they emailed. It eventually took the manager to sort it out but it soured my vacation.

I am satisfied with your hotel, as a solo traveler the price was good. Room with air conditioning, quiet with a view of the courtyard. Excellent breakfast for my taste. When I come to Prague again, it will be included in the election again.

The location was excellent, the rooms were very clean, and the service was great. The breakfast was also outstanding and really exceeded expectations. The only issue I noticed was that the reservation stated parking was included, but upon check-in, an extra fee was charged for parking. This was not clearly mentioned in the booking details. Other than that, it was a very pleasant stay and I truly enjoyed my time at the hotel.

The receptionist (a bald guy) treated us awfully! In my life, I went to hundreds of hotels and never received as bad attention as like this hotel. To those who want to hire something in Prague, for 5 euros more I recommend choosing another option so as not to get bitter about the stay. I only stayed one day and moved to a hotel on the same block, cheaper and much better. The hotel indicates 4 stars but does not reach 2. The wifi does not walk on upper floors, the beds are tiny, the pillow is 2 centimeters and I will return to RECALL THE BAD RECEPTION ATTENTION!!

Friendly staff - thankfully spoke English well as my Czech is limited to about 5 words! Clean room with a comfy bed and could look up and down the street from the window. The downside was that the aircon was set to winter/heating mode only, yet the room was 23C and we wanted it cooler! Couldn't leave the window open due to noise from the road, so just opened it before/after sleeping. It's also a shame there was no kettle/tea/coffee in the room. The included buffet breakfast was very good. Cold meats/veg/cheeses/fruit/cereal/yoghurt/bread/croissants/jams plus coffee/fruit juice/various teas - an excellent way to energise before a day of walking around the city. Would certainly stay again.

The location was quite central and convenient for visiting the city. Cosa non è piaciuto · I stayed at this property in Prague from 23 aug. Upon arrival, we were assigned a tiny, very dark room with a low ceiling located in the attic, completely different from what was shown in the photos and description on Booking. I suffer from claustrophobia, and the environment caused me strong anxiety, completely ruining my first day and night. I immediately reported the issue to the reception, and they told me that the room would be changed the next day, which they eventually did. However, the first night and part of the second were still ruined while waiting for a solution. I contacted Booking’s customer service three times, but despite their promises, I received no timely assistance. In the end, they only refunded me €23, which is far from enough considering the stress and inconvenience caused. I’m attaching photos of the room as proof. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-lit room — the reality did not match what was advertised on Booking.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, clean, cool hotel. The reception staff were super friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived. The room we had was spacious, fabulous bathroom, the beds were so comfortable ~ probably the best I've slept in. The location was perfect, in a quiet area but walkable to both the new town and the old town. One criticism, and it's a very British one, the rooms need a kettle and tea bags!

If you value in room cleanliness this is not the hotel for you - let me explain why… We are currently staying at Mamaison Residence Downtown (23–28 October 2025). The gentleman who checked us in was lovely and explained that rooms receive a light daily service, towels replaced (if left on the floor), toilet paper replenished, beds straightened, and on the third day, fresh sheets and a full clean. Unfortunately, none of that has occurred. We’re now on our fourth night, and the sheets have never been changed. Towels were only replaced twice, and only because we asked the cleaning staff in the hallway. We also had to request toilet paper as the room hadn’t been serviced at all. The coffee pods provided on arrival were a nice touch, but they were never replenished, nor were the glasses cleaned. We physically asked at reception for our room to be cleaned, and despite assurances, nothing was done. It’s unacceptable to have to chase basic housekeeping such as towels, toilet paper, and clean sheets. On a positive note, the location is good, the buffet breakfast is good, a solid selection, fresh food, and very efficient service. The restaurant and communal areas are pleasant, but the in-room experience is woeful. If you value cleanliness and consistent room service, I cannot recommend this hotel.

When I first walked in the room was clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was great Areas of improvement i would say the room cleaning during my stay I was surprised that the first time my room was cleaned I was told that the bathrooms don't get cleaned or the surfaces dusted or wiped. My stay was about seven days and I would expect that this would be cleaned. The gym seems to have no air conditioning and the equipment pretty old the bike seat was broken.

We came to the hotel just because we couldn’t catch our train. First of all at the check-in the staff was very unprofessional and proceeded to tell me that I don’t have a permit to enter Czech Republic with my passport, which is issued by the Austrian government. After explaining to him the situation, it was fine and we received our keys. The room was equipped with two single beds and when I asked for a room with a king-size bed they told me it’s not available. Then we went to the room we noticed that the room wasn’t cleaned well as when we sat on the “sofa” we could see garbage under the bed and on the carpet, also there was a weird brown stain on the curtain. All this and we didn’t complain as we had a long day and we wanted to sleep and rest. But then the next day when we were checking out the SUPERVISOR told me there’s an issue with my passport. And said I’m not allowed to be in Czech Republic. I asked him to call the manager for me but he said he couldn’t reach her, even though I know that during the day shift there’s always a manager, gem or mod which are all in a higher position than the supervisor . After I got furious and explained it to him again, all out of a sudden it was ok. All together I want to let you know that not only the rooms do not match the standards but also the staff are very unprofessional with their job and also not well educated. So if you want to face discrimination and racism and have a horrible stay then this is the perfect place to choose)
