We went here as the pizza is highly rated. No wait even without a reservation, it appears small from the outside but upstairs is a large dining area. Neapolitan style pizza, the dough was excellent, though my pizza was a little light on the fresh tomatoes. Overall the pizzas were good and pasta got the thumbs up too.

When you enter next to the small kitchen, from which you can buy a fresh bread, you won't be expecting how big and different this place is upstairs. Huge, open restaurant, in modern style, which can be quiet comfy with views of the nearby square. Service was without problems. When it comes to the drinks the lemonade was good, beer quite standard. As for the pizza the margherita was better than Diavola which might be due to it being, a bit too burned for my liking. Otherwise ingredients are top notch and we enjoyed our food, though I expected a bit more from the one of top Neapolitan pizzerias. This is also probably the first place that I saw had a Neapolitan degustation menu, where you get few slices of different pizzas and a bit of various served here pastas coming at various times. Something like pizza hut pizza festival but much better.

Heaven for Pizza & Pasta Lovers! We went for the Degustazione Campania menu and got to try literally everything they make – and it was incredible! The experience started with a buffet packed with delicious starters and then came the real treat: they served us every pizza and pasta on the menu one by one. If you fall in love with a dish (and you will), you can ask for more of it – or just keep going and taste the whole lineup. It’s generous, flavorful, and a perfect way to experience the full range of what they offer. The food is top-quality, and the concept is brilliant – perfect for foodies or anyone who just can’t decide. Highly recommended! We were stuffed in the end but it was brilliant.

I'm glad we stopped here for dinner on our last night in Prague. We were a group of two and were seated quickly. We started with the shrimp appetizer, then each got a pizza. The pizzas are really big and can probably be split by two people if you order a salad or other side dish. We both left with two pieces that will be our breakfast tomorrow morning. The service was great and they spoke English which was helpful. There were a lot of groups and families there and they even had a play area for kids If I lived here, I'd be stopping in regularly!

Whenever we travel, we make it a point to seek out restaurants that hold the coveted Neapolitan pizza certification, and we were thrilled to discover this gem in Prague. On our first visit, the restaurant was completely full—always a promising sign—so we made a reservation for another night. It was absolutely worth the wait. We ordered a Margherita with buffalo mozzarella, spaghetti carbonara, tiramisù, and a ristretto. The pizza, without question, was the star of the evening. It ticked every box of an authentic Neapolitan: a beautifully blistered cornicione with just the right leopard spotting, a light yet chewy crust with that perfect balance of airy interior and satisfying bite, bright tomatoes adding acidity, and rich, creamy buffalo mozzarella melting into every slice. The flavors were honest, balanced, and utterly addictive. If we had had the room, we would have gladly ordered a second one. The spaghetti carbonara was tasty, though for our palate, the pasta leaned firmer than a classic al dente, making it slightly difficult to enjoy fully. The tiramisù brought mixed impressions: the mascarpone cream was silky and luscious, with a nice cocoa finish, but our portion seemed scooped a bit unevenly — mostly cream with only two small pieces of ladyfingers underneath. The balance felt off, and we also didn’t catch much of the usual liquor note that lifts the flavor. While tasty, it missed that classic harmony of espresso-soaked ladyfingers, mascarpone, and a touch of liqueur. Hopefully just a one-off plating issue. That said, we came for the pizza, and the pizza was, without question, off-the-charts exceptional. I would return in a heartbeat to savor it again and to try their other toppings. The restaurant is charmingly decorated, laid-back, and welcoming. We were seated by the window, with a lovely view of Prague streets that added to the atmosphere. The staff were kind, attentive, and service was reasonably quick, making the evening easy and enjoyable.

Food was AMAZING. We had pizza with Mortadella and pasta with Ragu sauce, and it was delicious. You have playground for the kids wich is also amazing. The stuff was super friendly and they have different person for order, payment, cleaning tables. Literally everyone knows his job. They have thought about every detail. 👍🏻 Especially i love the card you get when you pay. Go there and see what i am talking about.

Fun experience with the trains bringing food! 😃 We ordered a menu with tartar, cheeseburger, panna cotta and additional coleslaw. Everything was absolutely delicious! 😍 Tartar - super delicious and creamy and comes with bread, garlic and pickles. Cheeseburger - also great, with smokey and juicy meat, slightly red and not overcooked at all. The bun in the burger is very buttery. Fries with mayo dressing - super nice. Panna cotta - creamy and not too sweet with berries which are only slightly prepared with sugar, tasting very fresh. Coleslaw - absolutely delicious. Selection of 4 beers on a train is fun and not too expensive. It is quite expensive, but I have to say they also put effort into making nice food and not only charge you for the train experience. Absolutely recommended to book in advance as the queues to this place are huge.

A very unique and interesting environment — full of trains moving in different directions, creating a truly unusual and engaging atmosphere. The restaurant definitely stands out from any standard place. We had roasted pork ribs with French fries and beer. The food and beer were of average quality, nothing special, especially considering the prices, which are about 30–40% higher than in other local restaurants. For example, a Pilsner Urquell that costs around 80 CZK in Pork’s or Lokál was 127 CZK here. Overall, it’s probably more of an experience restaurant, great for kids and families who want to enjoy the train-themed setting. For adults looking mainly for good food or drinks, I wouldn’t strongly recommend it — it’s more about the atmosphere than the cuisine.

Vytopna is hands-down one of the most memorable restaurants I’ve ever been to. The model trains delivering drinks and snacks to your table is just brilliant—it makes the whole meal feel playful and special. The food and drinks are great, but honestly, the trains steal the show! It’s perfect for families, friends, or anyone who wants a fun twist on dining. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Prague!

A very fun place with a unique atmosphere — the little trains delivering drinks and food are really cool. However, the prices for both food and drinks are definitely on the higher side. The ribs were especially disappointing: mostly fat and almost no meat, which really shouldn’t be the case. Nice experience overall, but the quality of the food doesn’t quite match the price.

What a cool experience! Felt like a kid again playing with scale trains. Like other reviews here, the prices are higher than what you’d pay in a regular bar or restaurant, and the food and beer are not exceptional (it’s not bad either). However, it is a very unique and fun place, for kids and adults (with inner children) alike. The staff were very nice and friendly!

After seeing this restaurant on a BBC documentary I wanted to visit. It's so unique and you don't have to be a train fan to enjoy it. After placing your order the drinks and depending what food you order is delivered by train. Even just watching the trains going round is so much fun. The guage for train fans is 0 guage. We unfortunately due to timings on our last day we could only stay for a glass of wine but if you plan to stay booking is advisable as it will be busy.

Trains are really interesting and funny attraction. Friendly service. We only tried beer tasting set and French fries and they were good. It’s not really a place to spend a lot of time (quite loud and lack of privacy, cause you need to share a table with other people). It’s also quite pricey but definitely worth a visit!

We really enjoyed eating at this restaurant. The first night we came we only tried Beef Tartar and the Bone Marrow. I loved the fresh taste of the Beef Tartar. The Bone Marrow was very fatty as it supposed to be. We were surprised by the atmosphere and the food that we decided to come here the next night. We loved the Beef Carpaccio! The Potatoes Pancakes were also good. The Duck Pate didn’t meet my expectations. The bread that came with the food was very delicious! We also tried Bread Pudding and it was okayish. However, the staffs that were serving the food wasn’t very nice. We ordered the wrong dessert but we were too intimidated to change it :(

The atmosphere is incredible. The restaurant is located in an old bank building. There are three stations where you can order different things. One is dedicated exclusively to beer. I ordered a cheeseburger, which was fantastic. One of the best I've ever had. My Czech friend recommended I also order a "sznyt" beer. This is a style of pouring beer in which most of the foam is present. It was also delicious. The restaurant is perfect for anyone who loves meat dishes.

Typical Czech meat place, based on the past experience in public canteen. Good meat, good Beer. Not chaleap but good to try. Steak tartar, owen cooked beef ribs, cabage mince meatloaf. Good to try. Vejmrda fresh horseradish.. You are taking the empty receipt And the food is weighted. You pay the bill when leaving

Food here is great and I would go again and again for it. It's not for the meek however, The service is famously unfriendly, and I have marked down as my friend got charged a meat weight for her vegetables , and then we're added again as a side , but she was too polite and embarrassed to complain with the language barrier. You ask for what you want , completely price blind and it is weighed and marked on a card. I do love the food though. But 2 years ago I paid £15 for a heaving plate and this year the cost had almost doubled to £29 for a similar sized portion. I will say it's a great place for meat lovers however and I will go again a third time if ever in Prague.

Is was definitely a great experience to dine at Kantyna, at first I was a little worried about the language buy everyone spock English and was super helpful. I love love love the gazpacho, we have burger and was really good as well. I 100% will recommend this place and will come back when I come back to Prague.

This was our favourite meal in Prague (and we have not had any bad ones!). The carpaccio and steak tartar were exceptional and we also pushed the boat out and had a massive rib eye steak between us. The butcher kept trying to warn me it was too big but we smashed it no problem! I like that you can splurge if you want but also get very reasonable meals. Wine and beer also great. Will definitely come back on our next visit.

Kantyna was an absolute highlight! The place has its own unique charm — kind of a modern canteen vibe with self-service, relaxed atmosphere, and great energy. The food was outstanding. We had carpaccio and tartar, along with several sides like cucumber salad, pickled vegetables, and coleslaw. And let me say: the coleslaw was a 12/10 — probably the best we’ve ever had. The tartar was incredibly flavorful, and although the carpaccio slices were a bit thicker than we personally prefer, the meat quality was exceptional, so it still tasted amazing. Considering the top-notch ingredients and the very fair prices, this place is a real gem. Highly recommended — a well-deserved 5 stars.

Beautiful and elegant café with a charming atmosphere, definitely worth a visit. We ordered tea, hot chocolate, a round pastry filled with cream, a croissant stuffed with turkey and topped with cheese, an omelette, and an apple strudel. Everything was nicely presented and tasted good, but there was something missing overall, maybe a bit more warmth in the service or flavor to make it truly exceptional. Still, a lovely place to enjoy breakfast or a sweet break in a classic European setting.

The best meal we’ve had the whole trip. The service was amazing as well! Everything we’ve had was technically perfect, fresh and the flavors were on point. From the filtered coffee to the black truffle egg croissant, the experience was 10/10 all the way.

It's all about Instagram and that was it. The waiter was cold. I asked for water and never served. Even after I gave 10% tips, the waiter still ignored such simple request. The food was overpriced and the quality did not meet the price tag.

We had to wait quite long to get in since we didn’t have a reservation. But I’m glad we waited! The interior was soo pretty. I really enjoyed my hot chocolate. I liked it more than the hot chocolate I tasted in France. It was luscious 🥰 We didn’t expect the Appelstrudel to come with whipped cream and vanilla sauce (?). But it added a lot to the taste. The pastry itself was very delicious.

I arrived without a reservation, and even then I didn’t have to wait long for a table. The staff who served us were very kind and polite. I really enjoyed the breakfast — the cheese croissant with eggs and truffle mayo, the pumpkin soup with chicken breast, the mashed potatoes, and two cappuccinos. Everything was delicious and perfectly made. The place itself is very beautiful, clean, and cozy, with lovely decor that I really liked. I would definitely love to visit again.

A few weeks ago we had dinner at Eska in Prague — amazing creative dishes with unique, locally sourced ingredients. Trendy yet cosy atmosphere, and top-notch service. Stunning food and great service. Coffee was delicious and the food was well executed and really well seasoned. I had the poached egg with fermented barley, mushrooms and truffles on my first visit and the omelette on my second - both excellent. They manage to get the food out to you really quickly as well (which is great when you're late for a flight). Definitely worth taking a short tram journey from the centre.

Wonderful bakery, bunch cafe. Loved the atmosphere, food was delicious and staff attentive and helpful. We came from brunch but couldn't help ordering the bread at the same time to take home with us back home.

Eska Restaurant and Bakery absolutely nailed it. We ordered the Breakfast Karlín (a must), which comes with their phenomenal bread, juicy sausage, silky white butter beans in miso, and a sweet vanilla curd with fruit. Every element was balanced and deeply flavorful. We also had the poached egg with truffles (another must-have): rich, aromatic, and perfectly cooked. As a black coffee lover, the brewed coffee here is among the best I’ve had in Europe—clean, complex, and with the right level of acidity. If you enjoy black coffee, order the brewed coffee. The fermented hibiscus lemonade was bright and refreshing. And that bread… exceptional crumb and the best crust. When the “basics” like bread and coffee are this good, you know everything else will shine. Service is friendly and efficient. It’s order at the counter, then they bring everything to your table, smooth and quick even when busy. The space is lively and modern with a view of the bakery; there’s indoor and outdoor seating. Bottom line: Destination-worthy breakfast/brunch spot where craft and flavor meet. Don’t miss the Breakfast Karlín, truffled poached egg, and brewed black coffee.

The best breakfast destination we visited in Prague was @eska_pekarna. Every dish is incredibly fresh and delicious. Their motto is simple: Processing fresh, high-quality produce in the most ideal way. They have an open kitchen where you can see almost all of the production. I also recommend their coffee options. The service staff is friendly and very prompt. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the city center and the wait times due to the high volume of customers.

As many others have noted, this is a great spot for brunch in Karlin. We came on a chilly Saturday morning around 11, and waited less than ten minutes for a table for two inside. Once seated, you can peruse the menu before standing in line to order at the counter. The line moves quickly and also gives you a chance to peak into the open floor kitchen to see all the madness of the bakery and food preparation. Our meal came in less than ten minutes and WOW, everything was so tasty. The Potatoes in Ash delivered on creamy salty goodness, and the breakfast platter with eggs Benedict, salad and panna cotta was a perfect montage of flavors both sweet and savory. It was a rich meal that last us feeling satisfied!

I had a fantastic lunch at Kuchyň, during my stay in Prague. I had the pork belly with dumplings and gravy, and the pork belly was succulent, the gravy was rich in flavour, and the dumplings were soft. We booked in advance, so if you’d like a table inside, I’d recommend booking beforehand as it filled up, even for lunch. There were multiple rooms to sit in, which created an intimate environment. In one of the dining rooms you can see the kitchen which is a nice touch, as you can watch the chefs work while you sit. The Waitress was attentive, and actually recommended a fragrance she was wearing, as I mentioned it smelled good.

Suggested by a local. Absolutely amazing. I'm not sure where to start: the food is delicious (I had the goose tasting menu, an experience), the wine list is good, and the atmosphere is lovely. If you grab your drink and sit outside, you'll have a breathtaking view of the city. It was, so far, the best restaurant we tried in Prague. Staff are very friendly and prepared! Recommended!!!!

During my two days in Prague, this was the best meal I had! We chose the meat in red wine sauce, served with mashed potatoes, it was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was wonderful, but what truly makes this place special is the people who work here! Dennis served us and really warmed our hearts with her friendly smile. Come for the view but the food is excellent as well! Service is quick and friendly. The outside tables have the view but you can pre-book to ensure you get them. Really recommend after a day exploring the City. A lot of French influence in the cuisine and it shows!

I enjoyed my dinner here. This is a vegetarian restaurant but has plenty of vegan options. I had orange mint lemonade drink with a ginger shot, vegan burrito, and vegan snickers. Everything was delicious. Especially that snickers dessert was unreal. But I liked everything, the food felt nourishing and healthy. The restaurant has a very cute and relaxing decor and atmosphere. It's located very centrally.

Lehká Hlava exceeded our expectations. The dishes were inventive and flavorful and the presentation was lovely. I usually prefer meat, but even the vegetarian options were so satisfying that I would happily eat here again. The ambiance is charming and slightly whimsical, making it a memorable dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the overall experience was delightful.

I thought the place would be the best vegetarian place in Prague, but I'm sure there are better places to eat. I had high hopes due to all the positive comments, but the food was quite mid. I ordered a cocktail, which had little to no alcohol, and it was very sweet. The bun itself had one good aspect, and it was the tofu. Their tofu was very delicious, but it was smothered in a lot of barbecue sauce, which overshadowed the actual taste of the tofu. The potatoes and the white sauce were fine. The portion was small in my opinion. The best thing about the place is its ambiance, and the servers were attentive.

I don’t know where to start. Two vegetarians and dairy allergy walk into a restaurant…. And WOW. The food here is incredible. I strongly recommend the Tofuie gras, but to be honest, everything we chose was so good. The service was impeccable, and I haven’t even mentioned the cocktails. A must when visiting Prague.

Incredible experience of a Michelin Star restaurant. We cannot tell you how much we enjoyed this spot. From the time we arrived till we left the wait staff was incredibly attentive and the chefs were so great to watch. They all seemed to be in tune with one another and worked very well together. They never seemed to be overwhelmed or frustrated. You could tell it was a team effort and they all seemed to love what they did. The environment was not as uptight as we expected which made the experience even more fun to sit back and be guided through exquisite cuisine. They made jokes, had incredible table side manners, and were a joy to spend the ending with. The location was quiet around the outside, almost mysterious which made it even more “exclusive” feeling. And the prices were not over the top. We ordered 3 short menus, 2 normal, 1 vegetarian which was very appreciated for our party. We did not do the wine pairing, I couldn’t convince my other guest to do it but it would have been even more elevated! The lamb and kale salad were the best I’ve ever had. We loved the crayfish dish as well - the shot was so fun! We will remember this for a lifetime and will tell our friends about it. Thank you for a great experience.

What an amazing dining experience with beautiful presentation, unique taste & texture! The short tasting menu is about 2 hours. We opted for non-alcoholic drink pairing and Wine B pairing. Each drink complimented the dish very well. Our waiter & servers were attentive and friendly.

We had a really lovely evening at Field. We chose the long degustation menu and really enjoyed it – the food was very good, creative, and clearly prepared with a lot of care and technique. The staff were absolutely incredible as well – genuinely kind, attentive, and very accommodating throughout the whole dinner. The only thing that could definitely be improved is the atmosphere: the lighting felt too dim and the tables are quite close together, so there isn’t much sense of privacy, which you would normally expect from a restaurant at this level. Overall, we still enjoyed our visit a lot and would recommend Field for the long degustation menu, the food quality, and the fantastic service.

I went for the lunch menu, each course was stellar and extremely well balanced in their flavours. Bruxxis an absolute gem! They offer a great variety of beers, delicious seafood, and my personal favorite— coque au vin—which is simply stunning. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff are friendly, and the service is excellent. For those who prefer non-alcoholic options, their homemade lemonade is just as impressive. Definitely a place to go

Im a regular at this Belgian restaurant and have a consistent experience of quality food matching perfectly with the astute service and warm atmosphere. The beer selection is vast, and the chef's menu that rotates specials is always impressive. This is a favorite for me and my crew and we often end up choosing this place for our friday night starting point due to the optimum options guaranteed to satiate our hunger and thirst. The people who work here are genuinely sweet and professionalism is about the local standard here. The managers work the crowds well while assertive servers keep a tidy table. They run a tight ship in this place and my mass respect goes to this crew and kitchen for how they make it happen every time. The Bruxx beer is perfect

We loved everything here (as usual 🫶🏻) French oysters 🦪 - ❤️ Mussels in white wine are the best for my taste, the selections of beer is also great. Service was very attentive and kind. And it’s a quite iconic place in the city overall.

Very good service, excellent selection of Belgian beers, good atmosphere. Today we had oysters, coq au vin, and grilled beef rump steak. Brilliant. Their lunch menu is also usually great value for money.

It has always just the best oysters I can find in Prague. My partner tried the balls paired with recommended beer from the waiter. I come here often since 2018 and it still has a place in my heart.

Our waitress, a lovely girl from Russia (sorry, I can’t remember her name), did an incredible job. She was so friendly and even took the time to recommend the best options on the menu—we were all really impressed with her professionalism and warmth. Second, the food was absolutely amazing! Everything was delicious, but the mussels were especially epic. The flavors were spot on, and we couldn’t stop talking about how tasty it all was. Lastly, the atmosphere of this place is fantastic. It’s inviting, vibrant, and perfect for a group gathering. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back.

I chose this restaurant for my birthday celebration and I’m happy with my choice. Great ambiance, the view outside is amazing. Service was great, the waiter was polite and friendly. The startes were okay, as a main dish I’ve had the best duck in my life, together with coconut rice the dish turned out to be very special. Huge wine list is a plus as well. Will definitely come back to try the registration menu.

We wanted to try out something new, that’s why we chose Sansho, a fusion Asian restaurant served by not-Asian-chef. The soft shell crab is absolutely the star of starters. Other dishes were amazing, too. The main dishes are full of right flavors, a bit too chilly to my taste. Overall, nice experience.

Visited after a couple of years. Still very good place to go to. Relaxed, chilled and original. I am a bit tired of the Prague scandic style with overcombined ingredients list and sweat bread (brzlík) on the menu. So this place currently hits the spot of my needs. Uncomplicated and refreshing. Had lunch at The Eatery and overall it was a good experience. The restaurant is a bit low-profile from the outside, which makes it slightly difficult to find at first. The lunch menu doesn’t have many options, but the duck leg I ordered was excellent — tender, flavorful, and well prepared. Service was fine but could be improved to match the high standard of the food. Overall, a stylish modern spot with quality dishes, worth a visit if you are in Prague.

The Eatery was some of the best food I have ever had and was definitely the best food we ate in Prague. The fried trout starter was absolutely phenomenal and the duck breast was the best cooked duck I have had. Highly recommend coming here to get Michelin Star level food at fantastic prices.

We had an outstanding experience at The Eatery. We shared a bottle of Czech wine and started with the foie appetizer, which was perfectly balanced, the sweetness of the almond and rhubarb against the richness of the foie was incredible. The duck was beautifully prepared, and the rabbit was such a fun, creative play on a Caesar salad. For dessert, the panna cotta with ice cream was unforgettable, and the caramel mousse was the perfect sweet finish. Excellent service made the evening even more special.

My wife and I were thrilled with our recent lunch at The Eatery in Prague. Not only was the delicious food beautifully prepared and presented, but it was our waiter’s exceptionally kind and professional service that made our meal truly memorable. The restaurant is a short distance from central Prague and easily accessible by public transportation. The restaurant interior is thoroughly modern with an open kitchen clearly staffed with a skilled team who care about the quality of the ingredients they are using as well as the flavour of the finished dishes. Given the restaurant’s location, it felt like a local place. Nevertheless, we were warmly welcomed and expertly served in English and Italian. 🙂 Since the menu changes frequently, it is unlikely that you will find the same dishes we enjoyed during your visit. Our October lunch included a splendid pumpkin soup, an incredible roasted mushroom and celeriac purée appetizer, a most delicious venison goulash, and a perfect roast chicken with tremendous accompaniments (mushroom purée, roast carrots and potato pave). We saved room for a perfect buttermilk panna cotta. We highly recommend reserving a table at The Eatery; they absolutely deserve their inclusion in the Michelin Guide as well as their positive reviews.

Perfect way to end a journey in Prague! We ate three course meal and everything was just perfect. Service was also very professional and yet friendly. Atmosphere was lovely. Price considering quality was amazing.

The atmosphere was nice and relaxed, and the food was delicious and full of flavors. Their desserts need special mention here. Overall, we enjoyed our visit a lot and would happily come back.

We’ve had a very pleasant evening at a private booking of The Eatery. The food was a very interesting mix of high quality ingredients with an amazing wine pairing. The service however was the best part. We felt very welcome, everyone took care of all our needs and we simply had a great evening, without needing to worry about anything. Strongly recommend for any setup if you are looking for a high class experience.

Outstand experience, I can highly recommend a visit to Taro. They provide a wonderful experience throughout the entire visit: you are greated with a welcome drink, which you can enjoy in the welcome lounge until you are guided to your place at the bar. The service to the bar through the cooks is a great idea and the food was outstanding. I had no idea what Vietnamese fine dining could taste like, but the experience was beyond my expectation. The Negroni and the wine pairing were also amazing and the Sommelier provided great flexibility.

Taro delivered one of the most refined Vietnamese meals I’ve ever had. The open kitchen, warm service, and beautiful presentation created a truly special atmosphere. As someone with Vietnamese roots, I was genuinely impressed by how authentic yet elevated the flavors were. This is not just great Vietnamese food, it’s a world-class dining experience in Prague. Highly recommended.

A fine dining, Vietnamese tasting menu that’s definitely worth a visit if cost is not a consideration. There are two dinner sittings each evening along a 20 seater table with the kitchen in the centre. Unfortunately everyone tends to arrive at the same time so there were no seats left in the waiting area and we stood awkwardly by the door with our welcome drink. After a while asked if we could take our seats and directed to the two at the far end of the restaurant. If you want to see the food preparation these are not the best seats as the view, particularly in the first seat, is slightly obscured. There is no menu until the end, so each course arrives with a detailed explanation of the ingredients and history of dish. The appetiser consisted of delicious fresh herbs, beef tartare and an egg mayonnaise cube. Followed by trout and kefir snow: a roll your own pork and pineapple spring roll: beef and lobster: quail, truffle and sticky rice and finally a fermented rice cake with mango and coconut. All courses were beautifully prepared and very tasty. It’s not a cheap experience, around £185 for two people, plus wine around £30 (although there were a lot more expensive options) and £6 for two bottles of water. Personally, at this price, I would expect the water to be included. Finally the credit card machine offers a choice of 5, 10 or 15% service making this a special occasion venue.

10/10 I will recommend this restaurant to everyone. The service was top, the hostess, sommelier, mixologist, and chefs were very knowledgeable and friendly. We were a party of 3 and each of us had a different beverage pairing (non-alcoholic, wine and cocktail). All of them were amazing and very fitting. The food was also great, we also had dietary restrictions that they handled very well. All in all this is a must visit restaurant in Prague! The concept, the people and the atmosphere was second to none.

It is TOP! We had a great dining experience with 10/10 hospitality! You won't know what you will get and that's the best part of the experience.

Found the Food Lab a couple of hundred meters from our hotel. Great breakfast - the fried eggs with avocado pomegranate & sunflower seed on rye was particularly good. Dinner was also an excellent experience. Drop in for a dessert, will not disappoint-see the pecan gift.

If you want dressed up, creative and delicious dishes, this is the best place. Everything felt fresh, light, and seasonally inspired. The beetroot risotto was unlike anything I’ve ever had and it will live rent free in my mind forever. It was a nice break from traditional heavy Czech food. I strongly recommend this restaurant.

We came across this by accident , trying to find a pizza place for lunch near the Spanish Synagogue. Gorgeous interior , which was decorated for Halloween 🎃. They had a very reasonably priced lunch menu . I had the baked cod on a ratatouille base which was delicious . My husband had the chicken popcorn and ordered a side of fries and my son had the mignon steak with a side of fries which melted in the mouth from the Al a carte menu. We just had a carafe of still water for all 3 of us . Service was quick and staff were very friendly . Highly recommend if you are in the old town.

We went on a Sunday evening (Nov 9) and we couldn’t have had a nicer experience. The place was bigger than I expected from the entrance, and we got a decent table. The staff were nice, we got our table straight away and we got our waiter just a couple of minutes later. He was super nice, answered the questions we had, and then we just enjoyed the room and its decor while waiting for our drinks and food. The food was absolutely delicious! The wine I picked was excellent and reasonably priced, and paired well with the dishes we selected. The amount and quality of food served is definitely worth the price. There was a bit of delay for the food to arrive but I felt it was very reasonable and to me it felt like they cared for the prep of the courses and also gave you enough time to enjoy them at your own pace. In some restaurants you sometimes feel like you are rushed out to get another table seated and this wasn’t the case here. We really had a good time, so well done to the team and the small crew working on a Sunday evening after a long day.

So I went to this place twice and I think it is okay’ish. The location itself has a nice interior concept style but unfortunately this comes at the cost of the food itself. I’ve had an eggs Benedict once and they used a very thin slice of toast as a base which kind of ruins the foundation of the dish. The coffee was also made with a foamy machine rather than barista style. So for a quick lunch/dinner at this place is fine, still somewhat touristic.

Exceptional food, lovely ambiance, live dinner music: this was a favorite while I was in Prague. The menu is creative, fresh and high quality. Be sure to leave room for dessert for a perfect end of meal treat.

Great place for both small and large groups! Excellent service and a wide variety of options. The only thing I’d suggest is offering more choices for vegetarians — we had two in our group, and their options were quite limited.

Premium burger for a low price with amazing service which was above and beyond. Cold towels given as well as the bathrooms having range of complimentary toiletries. Fantastic atmosphere and was not busy. Highly recommend.

We very randomly walked in this restaurant for lunch, just because we were nearby and the restaurant looked nice. And wow, what a great decision! The scenery from the window nearest to us was very beautiful, the staffs were very friendly and helpful and the foods were very elegantly decorated and delicious. We all ordered different dishes so we can taste all of their signature dishes. Our favorite dish was the chicken with gravy. After we finished our lunch, the staffs must have noticed that we keep on taking pictures of ourselves with the scenery backdrop, so he told us the best area in the restaurant to get the best pictures, we were very grateful with his suggestion 😀

Lovely restaurant very nicely decorated and seating spaced out generously. There is an area for children to be kept entertained which has ride on cars a teepee tent. The meals looked lovely but disappointed that there was only one vegetarian meal option available, which unfortunately was very salty. It also looked very similar to a manderake from Harry Potter. The staff were very helpful, informative and attentive and spoke very good English.

An extraordinary restaurant - fantastic interior, great service, and perfect food!

I have no felt so discriminated at a restaurant before. My family and I showed up for Christmas breakfast, the two lady hostess were so welcoming and inviting. The ladies began to take our coats and welcomed us with open arms saying they had a table available for us. In the middle of taking our coats, an old gentleman hostess came up very rudely and told us we must leave now because we did not have a reservation, he wouldn’t even look us in our eyes because of the way some of my family members looked. I will never come here again because of the way he treated my family, I am so disappointed.

My wife and I were looking for authentic Czech cuisine in Prague, and U KROKA absolutely delivered! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating — even though I had mistakenly booked our reservation for the wrong date and the restaurant was fully booked, they still managed to find us a table. That level of kindness and hospitality really set the tone for a wonderful evening. We tried several traditional dishes and everything was absolutely delicious. The Prague ham with Olomouc curd cheese foam and apple gel was a perfect starter — delicate and flavorful. The Svíčková was rich and comforting, the beef goulash hearty and satisfying, and the dessert, cake žemlovka, was a delightful surprise with its mix of apples, cream cheese, white chocolate, and apple sorbet. I had a crisp Pilsner beer that paired beautifully with the meal, while my wife enjoyed a refreshing mango lemonade. The menu is varied, so there’s something for everyone, and most of the staff speaks English, which makes it easy for non-Czech speakers to feel welcome and understood. This was our last day in Prague but before heading to the airport we thought we would visit the fortress. We also hadn't yet had the national dish of Svickova so googled the best in Prague and UKroka came up. What am amazing place. It's right at the foot of the steps of the fortress so very handy if you're visiting. As soon as we walked in the staff were super helpful and even took our luggage and locked it out the back for us. The food was absolutely beautiful and the Svickova was stunning so if you're looking for the best then look no further.

U Kroka feels like the kind of place Prague keeps hidden behind a wink, local, warm, lived-in, and absolutely confident in its craft. You walk past the Czech flag, step inside, and instantly slip out of the tourist current. Exposed brick, soft lighting and quirky artwork set the mood for a meal that isn’t trying to impress you; it just does. The cooking shines in that quiet, effortless way that only real tradition can deliver. The duck arrives with a glossy skin and fall-apart tenderness, sitting proudly among dumplings that behave like tiny sponges for all that glorious gravy. Good food and friendly staff. The pumpkin soup was excellent and the goulash well prepared. It’s very busy and quite noisy, and the service felt rushed - I was asked about dessert and coffee before I’d even finished my drink. A good place overall, but not ideal if you want a calm, relaxed meal.

Cannot fault U Kroka for anything; warm, friendly service, the staff allow space but inquire appropriately during meal, beautifully presented tasty dishes, and wonderfully thoughtful menu with good drinks selection. Staff are especially delightful. Highly recommend.

After my 2nd visit in Prague and both times having visited „U Kroka” I can definitely say it is my favorite place to eat. If you are walking around Vysehrad, which i enjoy greatly, this is the place to go after. You can find local czech cuisine here that is a bit more on the pricey side but the whole experience is definitely worth it, trust me. You are welcomed and taken care of by servers who are very attentive, kind and professional. The atmosphere of the place is calm and soothing. The food is actually regional, delicious and filling. When it comes to the beer it is actually cheap for this type of place and of wonderful quality (try it rezane style). Highly recommend ❤️

Very flavourful sausages served with bread and mustard. There’s a convenient screen outside the shop where you can order. There’s limited space, but we were able to get a seat outside. If we had stayed in Prague for longer we would have loved to come back and tried some of the other dishes, like the burger or pastrami sandwich.

Came here twice during our two week stay in Prague. Both times, we took home meats to cook at home, and the cuts were the best. Recommend the cheeseburger, pastrami sandwich, and the Prague ham. The staff are kind and helpful.

The absolute TOP when it comes to burgers. The meat is incredibly tender. All the ingredients are very fresh. Orders can be placed at the cash register or through the machine outside the restaurant. The staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the place is small, so there's not always a place to sit.

Easy to order by Kiosk! I tried Cheese burger and Pastrami sandwich. I prefer Pastrami:-) If not a big fan of rare, it could be hard to eat because the patty of burger was rare or more like blue rare:-) if patty is like medium rare, it would be much better! It’s dog friendly! It was already famous for Koreans so you can find the Korean language there. Staffs are very kind!

The food here is great, it's definitely worth a visit. We dined on the meatloaf, had a burger and also a pastrami sandwich. All were excellent. For the portion sizes it's very expensive - even for Prague - and prices definitely seem to have increased over the past few years as the place has made a name for itself... Would recommend but make sure to be mentally prepared for the prices.

MUST-eat when you come to Prague BUT visit in off peak hours as the line can be long (but worth it!!) an amazing butcher bistro, the freshest and finest Czech meats, fabulous specials and self serve beer on tap!

Great vegan spot right by old town square. I went first in 2018, and then again now in 2025 during visits to Prague. Remember liking Goulash a lot more my first time than now. A nice place to Czech cuisine for vegetarians. They also have plenty of international cuisine options in their menu. Lovely ambience, great service, nice collection of local Moravian wines etc.

I didn't know kohlrabi could be so good! - 4.5: MAIN - Thai red curry with roasted tofu broccoli, carrot, cherry tomatoes, coriander, lime, jasmine rice. Mild seasoning (Just right) - 4.5: MAIN - Asian wok with seitan, broccoli, spring onion, peppers, pak choi and jasmine rice. Mild seasoning (Just right) - 4.5: DESSERT - Dubai tart with pistachio kadayifi paste and fresh fruit. Mildly sweetness. - 5.0: Espresso. Excellent with no sour taste. SERVICE: 4.5. Considerate and responsive. AMBIANCE: 4.5. We sat at a table in the basement level, which we preferred to the ground level tables. Welcoming decor.

A true gem in the heart of Prague! I had the vegan goulash and it was absolutely delicious – rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. You can really taste the care that goes into every dish. The atmosphere is calm and beautifully designed, and the staff are warm and welcoming. A must-visit for anyone who loves great plant-based food and a relaxing vibe.

Just arrived in Prague and were looking for a good veg restaurant. This is the place to be. Great food, friendly service and all vegeterian/vegan. The texture and flavours were on point. We enjoyed it so much that we made a reservation immediatly after dinner to come here again. Came a second time on my trip and we had starters (spinach veloute and tofu gras), main courses udon noodles and lasagna. Ordered a goulash extra. The staff is very friendly and nice. Wonderful experience.

WOW - food was excellent. We ordered the poke bowl with tofu, goulash, and the potato pancakes with “duck” and all were exceptional. Great flavors. This restaurant is a gem!!

Restaurant with unique décor. The menu is very varied with vegan and vegetarian options. We had the black beer goulash and jackfruit burger. The goulash is really creamy and tasty and the burger balanced with a very good mayonnaise. Finally we had the sweet Dubai tart, very chocolatey and tasty to finish a lunch or dinner.

We booked a table at the recently refurbished and reopened restaurant. We had the 5 course tasting menu and wine pairing which was excellent. The food and wine where paired very well and we never felt rushed throughout the evening. Each course was delivered to the table and the waiter talked us through the dish and wine to compliment the course. There were a few teething issues with the waiters with which course we were on but on the whole it was a great experience and one we thoroughly enjoyed and recommend.

We had amazing meal here! We had the 5-course offering with the alcohol pairings and everything was terrific! The service was top notch, friendly and very knowledgeable. The food was creative and delicious and filled with so many wonderful flavors! Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious, the service was great, and the interior was beautiful. We were also very happy with the Czech wine. You hardly ever see that in the Netherlands, so it was fun to try. The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because we were asked for a tip when paying. Not just us, we noticed the same thing happening at other tables. We don’t think that’s very polite and it comes across as greedy. It wasn’t necessary at all because we’d had such a fantastic evening, we already planned to leave a tip ourselves. Other than that, definitely recommended!

We had an excellent dining experience at V Zátiší. The food and service were both outstanding — truly 5-star. The foie gras was sublime, one of the highlights of the evening. The staff were attentive, knowledgeable, and warm throughout. The only slight downside was the atmosphere, which felt a bit formal and lacked the charm or energy we expected — hence a 3-star rating for ambiance. Still, the quality of the cuisine more than made up for it. Would definitely recommend for a refined culinary experience in Prague.

The resto is beautiful. We did not do the tasting truffle menu nor was the regular tasting menu available as stated in the email I received. We ordered al a carté and everything was delicious. Service was nice. Although it felt like the staff got yelled at earlier in the evening. I’ve never seen such nervousness with service. Hands trembling while pouring the sauce at the table for example. My only recommendation that I could offer is more attention to drink service. We do not drink but did order a mocktail which was delicious but it was impossible to get a second. All around it was a beautiful evening with delicious food. The staff also went above and beyond to present a dessert to us for our anniversary. The entire experience was a moment to remember.

The most incredible experience from start to finish. The 5 course tasting menu is a must have with each course better than the one before! We can’t thank the staff enough for making our wedding anniversary meal extra special and the service was brilliant. Highly recommend.

We had the St Martins day menu and each course was fantastic. The pasta in the starter cooked perfectly al dente, with a delicious filling and great broth. Goose for the main was again cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend and some of the best food we ate in Prague. Service very attentive and friendly but not overbearing. On the pricier side but very much worth it.

📍Place: located up in the castle District, it's a very cool, modern environment which still keeps the old vibes. They have a seats for drinking, eating and outside as well - all with great atmosphere. 🍺 Beer: it's an expensive place, beers are 0.4l or 0.2l, and they cost 89-99 CZK. But it's very good quality, and their hazy IPA Cherry sour ale layered mix is a game changer. 👩🏻‍🍳 Service: servers are nice, smiling all the time. They accept card and cash as well.

Came here for lunch on the recommendation of a friend who has been here a few weeks prior and we really enjoyed our time. The beer was very good and reasonably priced and the vibe inside was nice as well. For an appetizer we got the pretzels and beer cheese, and to be honest the beer cheese was not that good, not sure I would recommend getting it. I also got the beef goulash and I highly recommend getting that, delicious. The atmosphere outside in the monastery was great as well. Couldn’t be happier with our experience minus the beer cheese!

The beer was really delicious and great! The food was excellent too! The restroom is in the basement, so you have to walk a bit, but it's clean. It might be a bit uncomfortable as you have to share tables. But the beer tasted so fantastic that everything else was fine!😉

Hidden gem but seems like it's not so hidden after all :P We walked in around 6.30pm and got seated in about 15 mins but it got super busy after that. So maybe book in advance, or go early (I don't know if they do reservations). We had to share a table with another couple. The beers are amazing. The atmosphere is brilliant and the staff is great too. We were recommended the beer cheese mousse and it was fantastic. SO DAMN GOOD! We also had the goulash soup (I ate about 70% of it and then discovered a bee/big fly in it :P and the server apologised and quickly took it back but it was peak summer time so I didn't make a fuss - the soup wasn't added to our bill). For mains we had the grilled cauliflower with hummus etc. It was good. All the food was great! The place itself was amazing and the walk within the monastery is amazing (the view is great!) This bar is inside a monastery and they brew their own beer, especially known for their dark one. The dark beer is good and smooth, even though you can find better dark beers in other spots around Prague. The gold beer was nice, and the regular one was also good. The onion soup was honestly the star of the meal. Super flavorful, rich, warm, and they serve it with little bread pieces topped with melted cheese that make it even better. We also tried the pork ribs, which were pretty good. They come with barbecue sauce, a sour yogurt cream, and a sweet honey-style sauce, and the meat was tender. The smashed potatoes with onion weren’t my favorite, they had a bit of an acidic taste. The service here was excellent. They were attentive, explained things well, and made good suggestions. Was it worth it? Well, I literally lived on the other side of Prague and even bought a tram pass just to get here for a beer. The main hall was packed no surprise for a place like this, but luckily they had another room with almost no one inside. I came for the beer, and honestly, I left happy. Cold, tasty, and with that beautiful foam. The food? Not bad at all as a side quest. Totally recommend it. Cheers! 🍺

This restaurant is a must go to when in Prague. Phenomenal evening for dinner watching the sunset over the city. Food and wine options were extraordinary both in taste and presentation. Our server Adam was outstanding and very knowledgeable.

Dining at Terasa U Zlaté Studně was an unforgettable experience, combining spectacular views with phenomenal cuisine. The outdoor terrace is easily one of the most breathtaking spots in Prague — a panoramic sweep of the city skyline with Prague Castle rising majestically in the background. The food more than matched the setting. The Angus steak was perfectly prepared, tender and bursting with flavour. The lobster bisque, delicately accented with caviar, was rich yet refined. The beef tartare was balanced, fresh, and beautifully presented, while the chocolate mousse with cherries was a masterpiece — indulgent yet elegant. The wine was outstanding, service was warm, professional, and attentive without being overbearing, making the entire evening seamless. For anyone seeking phenomenal food and wine, and the most stunning terrace views in Prague, this is simply perfection.

Firstly, this was booked as a surprise meal for my birthday from my boyfriend and he succeeded in finding a beautiful gem on our trip. The atmosphere, service and surroundings of the terrace was fantastic! Partner this with the impeccable service standard of the staff there! This is truly a must go to for any occasion! The food was fantastic and if I could rate it more than 5* I would! And I want to thank the entire kitchen and front of house staff for making my birthday super special on this trip to Prague!

Didn’t really like it. Salmon Ceviche was like 50% carrots and other veggies. The portion is very small. The burger tasted weird too. The ban at the bottom was very hard. They have a small dance show in the evening and I guess it runs every 45 mins so - which is frankly quite annoying but likely nice to see it first time. The service is good. Waiters are very attentive and sometimes are even too much. Desserts menu is very poor, nothing to choose from. The pineapple desert was just an over sweet pineapple with a scoop of basic ice cream. Açaí - just a simple bowl of açaí. Overall feels like a tourist trap kind of place to me.

Amazing food with so many flavours and texture. The restaurant has so many different areas which are dressed and designed perfect with a great atmosphere and music which is calming during meal times. The staff are more than helpful and so polite.

It was an absolute ripoff I did not expect to pay for 2 people over €400 we just asked for a red wine and we were served with an expensive one. They didn't have the stake we asked for from the menu after we ordered the cook come to us and told us he would do a different one to what we ordered again we didn't know that he decided to serve us the most expensive one on the book. Warning alerts be very careful 🧐 what u order or try to avoid all together from a well travelled guy i know the going rate for food and this place is design to sting you.

The breakfast was really good. We had the Avocaddo toast and the chicken toast. Both were delicious. The Chai Latte was really good as well.

We had a couple of espressos, they were quiet nice. They have several pastries too. Prices are a bit high, but the place is quite clean and pleasantly quiet — the music isn’t loud, which is much appreciated. My experience with Prague cafés so far has been rather noisy, and some don’t even have a toilet. In this one, the men’s toilet was out of service, and we had to go to the bar to pay since no one was around to ask for the check.

A tranquil hidden gem just steps from Old Town Square! With its minimalist-chic interior, sunlit winter garden, fresh Modern European fare, and delightful kids’ play area, Mistral Café is a calm retreat for breakfast, brunch, or a leisurely coffee. Staff are also great and friendly.

Everything we tried to eat at this restaurant I really liked. We visited it twice — once for lunch and once for dinner. For lunch, we didn’t have a reservation and had to wait about 20–30 minutes to be seated. So it’s a good idea to book a table a few days in advance. The pork knuckle and the pulled pork sandwich were incredibly delicious. Both portions were large enough to feed two people.

I’ve been to Pork’s three times now, and it’s one of my favourite food spots in Prague. Every dish we’ve tried was great. That hot dog stuffed with pork crackling (chicharrón) was amazing. We also had the cabbage soup, which was really good. The pork ribs were delicious too. And the apple strudel…yes, it hit the sweet spot. The dark beers here are among the best I’ve had; the blondes are also really tasty. The atmosphere is fantastic, great for groups, sharing plates, having fun. The staff were so nice, and to top it off we were given a honey-liquor to finish off (they serve a typical Czech honey liquor) which was a lovely touch. The food we ordered was delicious and without any issues. Unfortunately, our overall experience was affected by the behavior of one of the waitresses (the woman with glasses). We had to wait twice, about ten minutes each time, just to place our order or get the bill. What made it frustrating was that during these waiting periods, she seemed more focused on socializing with a group of male guests. From what we observed, she appeared to be flirting with them and even taking shots or sipping beer. This came across as unprofessional and made us feel that our table was being ignored.

As soon as we went in we instantly were welcome and they were polite. and kind and that is not all it was also at a good price and finally the waiters spoke many languages. Written by my 12 year boy who loved his experience.

Porks is conveniently located just off the bridge, making it an accessible spot for tourists to try traditional Prague cuisine after a long day of sightseeing. Be prepared for a 15-minute wait to get seated. I noticed that larger parties (3+ people) seem to be seated faster than smaller groups of 1-2. There’s no formal waitlist system—you just stand in line until the host calls you, with nowhere to sit while waiting, which can be tiring. The ambience is pleasant with a clean, fresh-smelling space and an open kitchen. The pork knuckle is a must-try—it’s generously portioned with plenty of meat, served with horseradish that has a mustard-like aroma and spicy kick. The skin is wonderfully crispy. On a cold day, the cabbage soup is a nice choice. It’s hot, slightly tangy, and contains pork chunks—enough for two people to share. We also tried the roasted pork ribs based on our waiter’s recommendation. They were decent but not particularly memorable, served with bread but no BBQ sauce (which costs extra if you want it). Interestingly, tap water costs the same as beer here. Food arrived quickly, but there are no takeout containers—they only provide paper wrapping, and you pack leftovers yourself. Overall, the pork knuckle is crispy and fresh—worth trying if you want authentic traditional food. However, the tipping system feels uncomfortable. At checkout, you’re presented with only three fixed options (10%, 15%, and 18 or 20%—I don’t recall exactly) with no custom or skip button. If you want to adjust the tip, you have to tell the server, who stands there watching you complete the transaction, making it awkward to request a lower amount. The service itself is fairly standard—you order through servers and raise your hand if you need something, but there’s no proactive table checking, no takeout containers, and they charge for everything, nothing on the house like breads or anything like that. Given the minimal extra service, the mandatory tipping feels inappropriate, especially with staff monitoring the payment process. I hope they’ll make tipping truly optional rather than pressuring customers.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I’m not a professional gourmet, I just like traveling around and trying different food. The cuisine here I tried on 5/Sep, put aside my personal preference - I think everything is fine, and the staff all are friendly and attentive, the way they tried to convey their idea of the dish and drink were also easy to understand and at the right pitch. I don’t drink alcohol, so I ordered non-alcohol pairing, just personally I don’t like too much sweet stuff, so by the end of the course I was a bit sugar high 🤣 Thanks to their food and service, really helped me to start the trip. Visited here right after I reached Prague from Singapore.

Dined here to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary whilst visiting Prague as we love Michelin cuisine when we can! Lucky to be seated next to open kitchen too. 5 Course Tasting Menu absolutely delicious with a couple surprises added too! All very professional, friendly, attentive & good humour. The Semillion exception too. Most definitely worth a visit if you can secure a reservation but need to plan ahead. Would we visit again? Yes most definitely.

This restaurant is simply amazing. The place inside is casual and sofisticated. Service is quick,professional, and very friendly. The servers are willing to interact with you and give you additional information on each dish. I recommend having the food paired with the Czech wine, it will not disappoint. This is a beautiful restaurant with really innovative food. We missed there being carbs and it was very protein focused which left us feeling a bit depleted the next day. I'd suggest not thinking the tasting menu will be a lot of food and eating light during the day. Leaving hungry made it feel less good value which is a shame as clearly, a lot of work goes into the meals.

We went for diner to restaurant Degustation in Prague. Very disappointing, not worth a michilen star. Within 1h40minutes they rushed the menu at our table. And also all the other tables: everybody was finished at 20.00-20.10u, and that on a saterday evening in a michelan star restaurant! They clearly had another serving that evening. It felt like rush hour. The meals weren’t surprising, and taste wasn’t exceptional. There were no carbs in the whole menu, except for one fatty round tasteless fried ball of dough. And upon asking for some bread: there was none, that was their policy. The wines were good. For the amuses you were expected to eat with your hands, and lick the plate with your tongue. So your hands turned red because of the beetroot. And it makes you feel like a dog. Why on earth would anyone choose for that approach?! Total expierience: it was a ripoff of my time, my money and the calories. And there was no excuse at all, when we told how we’ve experienced the evening. After dinner, we’ve had some lovely glass of merlot and some cheese in our hotel

This meal and restaurant really left me thinking. Like an incredible movie or piece of art you can't get out of your mind. If such humble ingredients like catfish, pike, mushrooms, and potatoes can be stars of a top notch fine dining experience, what's holding anyone or anything else from being a star? What I perceive as this theme seems to be the undercurrent for the whole place. After only a few days in Prague maybe there's some cultural identity here too? A simple yet complex cell pattern (according to one of the staff) is on the wood floors, the windows, the menu, and in the kitchen. I had a table overlooking the kitchen and saw veteran rock stars working with youngsters like clockwork. No shouting, no rushing, but food flying out of the kitchen looking and tasting incredible. What an amazing dining experience on every level! Highest recommendations!

Service very good and friendly. The food okay. Ordered beef steak, the texture was great, cooked as I wanted. I expected more seasoning on the meat (barely seasoned - maybe intentional?), sauce was good though. I was surprised about the size, when I buy raw steak 300g at butchery, it is double size compared to the one from the restaurant for 250g - maybe g are in cooked state? One time visit most likely.

I highly recommend this restaurant if you love steak! I went for the filet steak with fries, peppercorn sauce and green beans, and it was delicious and well presented. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was cosy. Rather than having one big room, the restaurant had a few smaller rooms which made it feel intimate. I booked when I arrived in Prague, and I was only able to get a lunch reservation, so make sure you book in advance!

We had a wonderful experience at the restaurant! the waiter was really polite and we had a wonderful conversation Other then that the dishes was spectacular !! the kobe wagyu A4 was one of the best pieces of steak I've ever eaten and the best one my girlfriend had ate according to her. The escargot was perfectly done and for an absolute bargain. the Crème brulee was amazing as well and I had an eggnog to go along with it...that’s when my eggnog obsession began I'll definitely visit again if I'll ever travel again to Prague and I've already gave a hot recommendation to my parents when they fly over in may.

I’ve been living in Prague for several years and La Gare is by far the best French restaurant I’ve ever been. We’ve been here several times now always trying something new and every single dish has been absolutely delicious. Excellent food, lovely atmosphere and professional service – and a special mention to manager Petr F. who always makes sure every guest feels welcome.

Best dinner we ever head in Prague - and we are locals. We picked this place for our 10 year anniversary and even though we never mentioned it to anyone in the staff, they were extremely nice. La Gare is bit of a secret gem for locals and I totally loved it. Everything from appetizers to desserts was top notch - we tried seafood and filet mignon, morels and foie gras, everything was served at the right moment and absolutely exquisite. Huge kudos to Jaroslav who took perfect care of us through the night. And thanks to everyone else on the shift today, you made our night 👏

One of the best restaurants I’ve visited in a long time. The ambience is beautiful – elegant, comfortable, and truly in a French spirit. The food is absolutely perfect: from various salads and fish dishes to meat specialties – everything I tried was a true symphony of flavors. I haven’t eaten this well in a very long time. Had a very special dinner here at Aromi. First off, the service was amazing for the start. Ambiance was wonderful, contemporary and relaxed. Our server explained what was on offer at the restaurant and brought out the available fishes for the day. A sommelier explained the wines to us after. We started with the Sweetbreads, shared the Seafood Risotto primi, and finished with the Turbot which we had prepared with the Truffle cream sauce and comes with lots of perfectly cooked potatoes, and clams. For dessert we had a Pear and Biscuit dessert served with Zabaione. Everything was outstanding and we could not have been more full! What a fantastic restaurant and I highly recommend Aromi. Compliments to the Chef and the Team for a memorable evening!

Definitely one of the best dinners I’ve ever had. Took my 18 year-old daughter here for a celebration dinner for graduation from high school. She’d never tasted many wines before. The sommelier was outstanding. Really went out of her way to let her try several different wines and find one she liked - And gave great suggestions. The presentation was phenomenal and the food was absolutely spectacular.

There is absolutely nothing to criticize - everything was excellent, from the service to the food and the atmosphere. The selection was just right. I have histamine intolerance and usually don't feel completely well after eating out, but here I felt great, which speaks volumes about the freshness and quality of the ingredients. This place is perfect for meeting up with the friends, business meetings, or special occasions. We will be very happy to come back.

During our last visit, the waiter offered us a small seafood plate as a starter - ended up being the most expensive part of the bill. Was delicious, but the price for such an expensive plate was supposed to be communicated before.

We had a Christmas dinner at Aromi, and it was a fantastic experience! I had heard great things about their seafood, and as someone who grew up near the ocean, I was thrilled to enjoy such fresh and perfectly cooked dishes. It truly lived up to its reputation, and I couldn’t be happier with the meal. I’m so glad I finally had the chance to dine here, and I’m already looking forward to trying their Sunday brunch in the future!

This is a fantastic modern art gallery well worth making the trip to Prague to see. The David Lynch and Orhan Pamuk exhibitions were unlike anything I have ever seen before. It was so interesting to see work by artists who specialise in other fields. The structure on the roof that looks like an airship has crashed into the building is incredible to see in person. You can enter inside it but sadly we couldn't as there was an event taking place there when we visited. However, if you go to the cafe you can see it and enter onto the roof space to access the structure. I think it is rare that it is closed off. We were just unlucky with the timing of our visit. I also enjoyed the permanent artwork "shoe christ" by artist Petr Motyčka. This led me to discover the art group Pode Bal which sadly there isn't much about online that I can find out about now I am home. The great thing about visiting DOX is that I wouldn't have heard of him at all if I hadn't visited. The cafe is a lovely place to grab a coffee and fresh sandwich and the staff were very nice.

This was a very nice museum. But your experience may vary based on the exhibitions that are currently inside. If you don't like modern art you will most likely be dissappointed, even though i'm not a big fan of modern art I stumbled upon an exhibition that was very gorgeous and spoke to me. If you're in Prague and you're a David Lynch fan, you should definitely check out the David Lynch exhibition, which is truly one of a kind, I never even knew he drew and painted so much. But the Joel-Peter Witkin installation blew my mind, I would show more here, but there is a lot of nudity and I don't know how google would feel about that.

I loved my visit to DOX! The building itself is amazing – a former factory turned into this bright, creative space with hidden corners and open halls. Walking through felt a bit like exploring, which I enjoyed. The exhibitions were thoughtful and sometimes challenging, but never boring. I especially liked how interactive some pieces were – it really pulls you in rather than just looking at art from a distance. The highlight for me was stepping onto the rooftop to see the Gulliver airship, which feels surreal and playful at the same time. Afterwards I relaxed in the café with a coffee and browsed the design shop – both are worth a stop. It’s not as crowded as other museums in Prague, which made the experience feel calmer and more personal. Tip: check the current exhibitions before you go, and give yourself a couple of hours to really enjoy the space. For me, it was one of the most memorable parts of my trip.

A brilliant contemporary art museum. I went for the David Lynch exhibition Up in Flames which was beyond all expectations. Soooo good. Art, photography, video, items. There were some fantastic art installations and also many other exhibitions such as Orhan Pamuk's The Consolation of Objects which was fascinating and such a surprise. I'm now a big fan and I hadn't been aware of his novels before this. What a welcome break this is from the busy centre! You can get a tram directly to the area. Also they have a cloakroom so great if you have any travel luggage with you.

The building had a cool design, and I liked one of the special exhibits (orhan pamuk), who focused on art related to where he is from (turkey). The other exhibits i found too quirky, and navigating the building was a bit odd. Yes I know contemporary is always a bit quirky but don't think others intentionally try to confuse you in navigation. Ticket price for quality/quantity of exhibits wasnt as good. Probably wouldn't repeat if im back in town

Structured into three interrelated sections — Sopor (Dreaming), Vanitas, and Mythos — the exhibition reconsiders classical and symbolist paradigms in order to interrogate the condition of form, mortality, and transcendence in the present. Škubal’s practice draws upon a lineage extending from fin-de-siècle Symbolism to early modern classicism, evoking the artisanal discipline of Rodin and Bourdelle as well as the introspective humanism of Jan Štursa. Yet these affinities are not mere revivalism; they are reanimated within a post-secular framework, transforming inherited forms into meditations on presence, decay, and spiritual residue. Rejecting the immediacy and spectacle characteristic of contemporary installation practice, Škubal privileges duration and attention — a temporality akin to Merleau-Ponty’s phenomenology of perception. His tactile use of plaster, ceramic, and bronze reasserts materiality against the dematerialized tendencies of digital culture, inviting a renewed embodiment of seeing and making. While the exhibition’s allegorical density and hermetic tone may challenge a casual viewer, Prometheus ultimately affirms the ongoing relevance of sculptural humanism. Through a synthesis of technical mastery and philosophical depth, Škubal reclaims the classical tradition as an instrument of ontological inquiry — a means of contemplating, through matter itself, the fragile continuity between being and loss.

Very cool place, you can easily spend 3 hours in there, the little café has a good choice of non alcoholic drinks, the shop is super cool. We visited the Miquel Barceló, Rolf Witkin & David Lynch exhibitions, very cool.

Not recommended. The portions are small, tasteless, and overpriced. French fries were not cooked, they were super hard. The salad was 295 CZK (12 euros), and it wasn't worth it: very small and tasteless. The gyros were horrible—extremely dry, without any taste, sauce, or anything. The green salad that came with it wasn't washed well. The water tasted strange; I couldn’t even drink it. I had a very bad experience.

Nice place with some greek accent. The food is tasty burlt few small things were not perfect like carpacio octopus was still frozen i was expecting at least to wait till it come to room temperature... but its nice place with greek backgroung radio music. Service was also good not perfect still need to work on it but over all good place to have dinner.

We asked the same waiter for small dessert plates to which he said they are not available… another waiter was able to find them. It’s a shame that a service person can make or break your dining experience. Otherwise the restaurant deserves 5 stars.

Food is very good and the portions are not small. However, it is quite difficult to have clear communication with the staff. I had to ask several times for the same simple request. Sometimes they just say ok but never bring you what you ask for.

Being back after a while to celebrate family birthday but completely disappointed. Main courses arrived cold, completely tasteless, mix seafood plate which is 500 g according to the menu for aprox. 1.000 kc ,reacived 200g max, according to the waiter was weighted before cooking. Not worth at all for over 3.200 kc for what ? Not being surprise why restaurant was empty.

To drink, we tried a cherry cocktail that was both refreshing and tangy. At Taiko Ramen Bar, we enjoyed tasty Yaki Gyoza and fresh green beans, paired first with a classic Margarita and later with a frozen Margarita – both excellent choices. To finish our visit, we had a strong ristretto and a glass of prosecco while enjoying the DJ music, which gave the whole place a stylish and energetic vibe. A great place to visit whilst in Prague. There's so much great food to choose from. We spent a few hours here just drinking and working our way through different dishes. It was really quiet on a Tuesday afternoon but apparently night times/weekends are busy and there's more of an atmosphere. There's outdoor heaters to keep warm.

I really enjoy the atmosphere here. On days when I want to relax and take it easy, this place works perfectly, especially during spring and summer, with a wide variety of restaurants and menus to choose from. However, during my most recent visit, the female staff at the cocktail bar were playing around and talking loudly inappropriately. Even worse, they were using several Czech swear words nearby, and we had to move seats to avoid the disturbance, which spoiled the atmosphere. I understand this is an entertainment venue, but the focus should primarily be on the guests’ experience. Courtesy and professionalism should come before playfulness. I hope the management will take this feedback and make improvements.

Great place for a mixture of cuisines with friends, can cater for a variety of tastes. I got greedy and had to sample a few dishes from different stalls. Beer was cheap as chips too.

Great spot for a variety of street food, drinks and good music. The venue has a pool to dip your feet into which is perfect for cooling down on a hot day and they had a DJ on the Sunday that we visited. Would absolutely recommend!

I really enjoyed the diversity of offerings here. We didn’t get any two things from the same place, and each was great. Two of our favorites were the Cheesey bread boat from Flame and the pork Borsch from the Ukrainian place. Sorry, I can’t recall the name at the moment. The service was great, especially from the staff of the market itself. It was a bit inside, but not surprising as it was mid-October. Definitely worth adding this place to your list for variety and quality, service was a nice bonus!

We had a great time at Manifesto Market. Delicious food and not very busy. Unfortunately, it was quite cold. There were gas heaters, but they didn't really help at our table. I reserved a table just in case, but that wasn't necessary. It was quite confusing because I had to pay upfront for the reservation, but when we arrived, no one asked if we had a reservation. The next day, I saw an email in my spam explaining how it works. This is strange because I received the reservation confirmation in my regular inbox, so I didn't expect another email in my spam.

What a great experience! The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was outstanding, truly 5 stars. The blond lady who welcomed us (I wish I remembered her name!) was so kind and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the warmth and professionalism here. Highly recommend this place if you’re in Prague and want great food with excellent service!

My honest review about this place is that it is special but the ribs are not as tasty as they look. 🍖 The friend onion was exceptional and huge!! The BBQ ribs were not tasty. Don’t get me wrong. It was not tasting bad. But it was not cooked as long as a perfect ribs should be cooked for sure. 🙋🏻‍♂️ The staff were very attentive and nice. ⏰ I didn’t have reservation and waited for around 10 mins to get a table. So reservations recommended. It was a great experience btw🤞🏻

Ribs of Prague is an absolute must-stop! We didn’t have a reservation and had to wait a bit, but it was 100% worth it. The food was incredible—tender, flavorful ribs with great sides—and the drinks were just as good. On top of that, the service was excellent: friendly, fast, and attentive. Today my family and I visited this place, and we were very happy with our experience. The food was delicious, especially the juicy and tasty ribs. The service was the best part. Marina, our waitress, was very kind, friendly, and professional. She made us feel welcome and comfortable. It was also very nice how they congratulated my brother on his birthday it was done professionally and warmly. We will definitely come back again! ❤️❤️❤️

The food is mediocre at best. If you are a ribs enthusiast this is not the place for you sadly. The ribs are grilled and smother in whatever sauce you choose and that’s it. They are not tender, they do not fall of the bone, the sauce just sits in top of them. The french fries were okay I guess. The service was good, the waiters were attentive, but inside is very loud and echoing. Maybe if the ribs were “the best in prague” it was worth it, but they are not good at all.

Very good Atmosphere and really amazing ribs. The menu is not large but what they specialize in 4/5 amazing dishes. The sfatt was very kind and the place is very clean. The only disadvantage is that the pricing is quite high, so it's perfect for special occasions.

Fantastic meal. Appetizers were incredible - so beautiful and creative. Main courses were some of the best steaks I've tasted in a long time. Excellent service as well. Only slight disappointment was the the restaurant is currently in the middle of a building site - which impacted the dining experience as we were eating outside. Highly recommend

Incredibly nice place. Very well-known in Prague, situated on the top of Václavské Náměstí . Very fancy, with individual and very caring approach from everyone. From the lady overseeing the coat hanging room to the runners and servers. As I've mentioned it's very popular so be prepared to wait a bit until the order arrives. This place is expensive, if you're looking for a cheap meal this isn't a spot for that. Is it worth the price though? Absolutely. The steak I had (vysoká roštěná ČESTR, medium rare) felt like melting butter in my mouth. It was amazingly tender and smooth. Buttery flavor was stronger than the meat flavor itself but I think this was because of the type of cut I ordered. Depends what you like. I can only encourage everyone to go and try out for themselves - yes you'll pay a bit more but you'll definitely leave well-fed and satisfied.

Fantastic dining experience. The tartar was outstanding, and the Stew Hanger was the best main of the night. T-Bone with truffle sauce was excellent, and a few of us loved the chimichurri. House beer was great as always, and the Novosady Pinot Noir paired beautifully with everything. For dessert, the beer sundae was unique and delicious, and the Czech bun was a sweet, comforting finish. Service from Simon was exceptional. Only wish the beef croquette portion included two instead of one. Highly recommend!

Long wait for second course. My tea was literally cold before we got them. Steaks good but not anything extraordinary. Pepper sauce was really strong, would recommend probably more just with the chips, not meat (overpowers the taste). We ordered multiple pumpking soups, they came to tell us they are out of it, some while later. Other than that they had just broth with egg only (no vegetable, pasta), I didn’t like it that much. Also, we had a reservation, but we still didnt have the table ready when we arrived (5 mins late) Average experience

Always had a great time here. Service is perfect, food is great. Love Ambi places, I buy most of my meat at Nase Maso. BUT our last visit on July 3rd, three out of group of four got some form of food poisoning and got sick. I know there is always risk with raw meat, and we had cider to drink, but I was running for toilet for 2 days after this visit and I think I was the one who got out the easiest :(

The restaurant really is a little hidden gem, where the cooking is done with noticeable passion and love for the product, the craft and the guests. The atmosphere is relaxed and, despite the bar, private for everyone, the explanations are detailed but not intrusive and the dishes are really surprising and different (best beet ever?!). We had the long menu with the wine pairing, which we can only recommend. We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to it - thank you for the lovely evening ☺️

The best culinary experience and the nicest evening I had in a long time! In the beautiful intimate setting we were served really inventive dishes based on local ingredients and an explanation how they were prepared. We enjoyed every course and strongly recommend this to all foodies!

We absolutely loved our experience at Benjamin and we regard it as one of our favorite dining experiences we have had across the world. Having dined at multiple Michelin restaurants, Chef Červenka is creating dishes that are on par, if not above, many establishments with stars. The courses had several elements that made each unique with different textures, taste, and balance. Another note is their care for sustainability in an ingredient; utilizing ingredients that are in season in multiple aspects of the dish. The concept of the restaurant is one that also makes for a great experience to understand where the ingredients come from and how they come together, there is great time taken from the Chef to explain his creations in detail. The wine pairings are carefully thought out to compliment not only the individual dish, but the whole course. Would highly recommend making a visit here and experiencing what this chef and restaurant has to offer!

A wonderful experience from start to finish. The restaurant is a compact space, offering 8-10 covers in a horseshoe around the bar. A team of 2, Jakub and Stepan, seamlessly manage the kitchen, service, the bar and front of house, never leaving us unattended, pacing the 8 courses perfectly, and finding time to talk the diners through each course (in multiple languages) showing their expertise and passion for fine dining. The food was wonderful and the wine pairing was impeccable, all locally sourced and seasonal. This was a genuinely amazing dining experience and one I cannot recommend highly enough. These guys definitely deserve a Michelin star!

Myself and my wife had the pleasure of dining here this week for the degustation menu and it was fantastic. The use of the small space to get 10 covers is a great concept and we both really enjoyed the anticipation of not knowing what we were going to be eating. Without going in to too much detail all the courses were extremely well thought out and absolutely delicious, the level of technique and imagination used in each dish was of a very high standard, these guys can cook and you can see the passion on each plate. We also both really enjoyed the wine pairing which was quite different to the standard white with fish, Red with meat etc and it complimented the food perfectly and made for some really interesting and tasty combos. I won't add any pictures so no spoilers but presentation was immaculate! We will be back next time we are in Prague, thanks for a culinary adventure :)

Did not expect that high value of ice cream. Unique experience, which is great to say for an ice cream (after you ate thousands of them). When you can make a sculpture from the ice cream with the spoon, you can tell it’s not a scam, it’s some real stuff, great stuff. Coffee was also nice! Definetely will go back if we’re around. Ice cream is delicious. I took bacio and salted caramel and bacio is my favorite! Although the stuff seemed a bit cold and not really friendly. And the floor at the cafe was really dirty

Absolutely stunning. As an italian, getting ice cream outside of Italy, or even finding something that closely resembles it, is hard. When we spotted the ice creams from outside, which were covered, we immediately knew we had to try it. I got lavender and rice, while the rice is nothing to ride home about, it was still nice. The lavender was instead very tasty and a pleasure to have. As that was nice, we all tried the coffee, we were really surprised by the quality of the coffee, which was served with a cup of water, something which is rare even in most of Italy. The coffee was not burnt, instead, it tasted really nice and was a nice final to the gelato. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone finding themselves in Prague, as it is better than a lot of things I ate - and drank - in Italy. A well deserved 5/5

The staff at Angelato were absolutely lovely – very friendly, polite, and made us feel welcome right away. I really appreciated the atmosphere and the service, which was top-notch. Unfortunately, I have to say that the gelato itself didn’t meet my expectations. The texture and flavor just didn’t work for me – it felt a bit flat and lacked the richness I was hoping for. I understand taste is subjective, and others might love it, but it wasn’t to my liking. Overall, a pleasant experience thanks to the great staff, but the gelato wasn’t something I’d return for.

Nestled in Mala Strana, this cute little spot is surprisingly quiet for being just steps from Charles Bridge. We've been living in Prague for almost a month now in this little neighborhood, and I'm surprised we didn't find this place sooner. The breakfast is a great value for money, especially considering the many overpriced places surrounding it. The wait staff is friendly, food was served promptly and was delicious! We had (large) bagel sandwiches and extra eggs and on a chilly morning and everything was exactly what we were looking for. They also serve large cups of coffee and liters of water with some of the best prices in the area. The bagels themselves are chewy and perfectly boiled, and there's a selection for anyone's tastes. FYI: The 'everything' bagel is called 'supreme'. The waitresses are patient and understand english well, but they also listened patiently as we stumbled through the little Czech we have learned so far. I am surprised by the negative reviews of this place. I wouldn't let a few grumpy tourists stop you from visiting this little place for a quiet respite and easy bite before taking a stroll through the park.

Great place to have lunch. I had a chili bean soup and was delicious. Also had the Caesars bagel and was also excellent. They have some Mexican drinks and some mexican dishes (not sure why). Also the prices, very reasonable even though it's almost in the city centre.

This place is amazing. Great menu with some classics as well as a few varieties that make choosing difficult. The best American pancakes I have had in many years. In fact, it would be hard to find some with this quality in the US. Crispy outside with a fluffy inside. Perfect.

We were recommended to come here for breakfast by honest guide Prague, janek. Our waitress was Denisa. Would like to give credit to her as she held the fort by herself. As we arrive for breakfast, we wanted to take the inner seats but was rejected due to all the tables being reserved for a hotel nearby. I'm not too sure whether this is a management issue but this is not a way to turn away many customers who wanted to walk in have a quick breakfast and move on with their travels. I've seen no less than 5groups being turned away in my short visit. Management of the seats could be better organized in order to maximize the profit of the business.

In any city we land, first thing we search for is our favorite hard rock cafe. Nothing better than their menu and what they offer, and this one was up there with the best of them all. Great service, opposite to our experiences with all other restaurants we went to in Prague where you feel unwelcome. Food is great and the restaurant is huge with more than 2 floors. Wonderful!

I've visited many Hard Rock Cafes around the world, and this one stands out as one of the best, second only to the London location. The food was delicious, but what truly made the experience exceptional was the service. Our waitress was incredibly kind and welcoming. Its prime location in the heart of the Old Town is a huge bonus, making it easy to visit while exploring the city.

Amazing place, very friendly service, tasty food and so much to look at… We were there with kids and the staff were very friendly. We loved our food, drinks and a shop ;) There’s a lot of memorabilia to look at, really a walk in a museum. The atmosphere is amazing and decor is out of this world. The crystal guitar is just a masterpiece. The place is huge, you don’t feel cramped. We didn’t sit at a bar but it looked awesome.

Visited with my kids on Sunday afternoon. Beautiful building and a great atmosphere, lots of space and one of the best locations in Prague. Service was super friendly, really appreciated that. Unfortunately, the food was a big letdown, the weakest I’ve had at any Hard Rock Cafe, which was surprising given all the good reviews. The burgers and nacho platter were okay, just a bit dry and not very warm, maybe they’d been sitting for a while. But the fries… no idea what went wrong there. They were soft and soggy, nothing like what I’ve had at other Hard Rocks. Considering the higher end prices, the quality just wasn’t there this time. Maybe it was just an off day in the kitchen.

This was my first Hard rock café experience as a tourist and I've got to say it was a great time overall. I was able to get a table earlier than expected, which was great. The food was impressive and was a reasonably sized portion, the desert was lovely too. The waiter who served our table was very attentive and he was very detailed about the experience too. Will return here if I ever come back to Prague in the future!

A traditional Czech restaurant and one of the most popular in the city, with prices to match. A reservation is recommended as it gets very busy, and consequently quite noisy. The staff was polite and helpful in finding me a table even though I hadn’t booked. The appetizer was suggested by the waitress, though personally I didn’t enjoy it. The schnitzel, however, was very tasty, as were the sweet potatoes served with a uniquely flavored sauce.

Honestly, not more than 3 stars for me. The place was very crowded and the ambience just wasn’t it. The staff were professional but not particularly warm, only the guy who served the food was friendly. We tried the goulash, schnitzel, and the cheese breaded like mozzarella sticks (but in a big size). Everything was okay, quite average overall. The only special thing I really enjoyed was the raspberry beer, which was actually pretty good and refreshing. Otherwise, not a place I’d rush back to.

This is a large boisterous beer hall serving up hearty traditional meals and of course beer. I had the boar and my wife had the schnitzel. Both meals were very good. Reservations for dinner were recommended but we decided to go and try to get a table as we just arrived in the city. We didn't have to wait too long and were seated next to a couple of different travelers who we enjoyed chatting with. Service was fast and efficient.

We dined here for the first time and absolutely loved the experience. This place served the best dark Kozel beer we’ve had. The beef was cooked to perfection, the Prague ham was full of flavor, and the garlic soup was outstanding. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making the overall experience even more enjoyable.

Quite a long waiting time (30mins) as the place was very busy when I went around 2pm. The food looked simple but was good. Wish I went back to try their schnitzel but was a bit discouraged with the long wait. Still would recommend to try!

We went for lunch. Just like all other places we had to wait for our table 😅 we did wait for around 15 mins. Once we got the table we placed the order and they took big longer to bring the food. But the food was outstanding 🤤 the best food I had in my whole prague trip there goulash is must try. We had to wait for so long to order our dessert again around 45 minutes and then to pay again we had to wait other than that everything was good if u have plenty of time to enjoy your food this place is definitely must go 😊👍🏻

This because of the Amazing food, super friendly and professional and smiling service by Martin, great view over the Vltava and towards the Charles Bridge. Not cheap but worth it, especially for some more special occasions. Highly recommended!

My partner and I had an amazing dinner at Kampa Park. I ordered the olive oil poached halibut and my partner, the mushroom risotto and both were delicious. We sat on the indoor terrace overlooking the river and it was gorgeous. We had a great time but the real star of the show was the service. Our server (Martin with the pony tail) gave us great recommendations for food and wine, and made us feel at home. He even offered to take our photo with a view of Charles Bridge.

Extremely satisfied with the place. Authentic pizza, spaghetti, Tiramisu. We enjoyed the taste and would highly recommend. But the service is slow. However, service charge/tip is customers choice as a token of gesture. When we said NO to this, we noticed that person who was taking the bill at the bar counter shouted to the waiter who served us saying 'they did not tip you'. This was rude. Restaurant management should make their staff realise, service charge or tip is a customer's choice and not a mandatory thing.

Food, service and atmosphere were ALL stellar here. I lived in Italy twice and can confidently say the pasta here is authentic. The restaurant has an intimate, warm, cozy feel with a pleasant interior. The waiters spoke English which was kind, had suggestions and were very attentive. The food arrived without a long wait. If craving Italian food in Prague, do not miss this! It was recommended to me by a local.

We didn’t have a reservation, but the staff were very kind and offered us a table in the downstairs area, which turned out to be even better — quieter and more comfortable, especially since we had a baby with us. The food was delicious — we tried the risotto and salmon pasta (can’t quite remember the exact names 😅) — and the service was absolutely perfect.
