Park
Sunset Park, located near McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, is a massive county park that was once a ranch and later a stock farm. Acquired by Clark County in 1967, it has since been transformed into one of the city's largest parks. With nearly 190 developed acres, the park offers various amenities such as jogging trails, sports fields for activities like tennis and volleyball, enclosed pet areas, playgrounds, and picnic spots.
Sunset Park is a hidden gem in Las Vegas. It’s spacious, clean, and offers a little bit of everything—walking trails, shaded picnic areas, a beautiful lake with ducks and geese, and even sand volleyball courts. The mature trees provide great shade, which is a blessing on hot days. There’s always a mix of people enjoying the space—families, joggers, dog walkers, and even folks meditating or doing yoga by the water. I love coming here around sunset (true to its name!) when the sky lights up beautifully behind the palm trees. If you’re looking for a relaxing spot to unwind away from the Strip, this is it. Highly recommended!
Pao A — Google review
If you want to to a break from the hustle and bustle, Sunset Park is a nice tranquil place you can visit. A leisurely stroll around the large lake, or just sitting on one of the many park benches offers a peaceful serene setting. The parks offers plenty of parking , along with baseball fields, and courts for tennis, volleyball, and pickle ball. The restrooms and the grounds were clean. And the ducks are friendly. The park is centrally located, and its free!
Doug G — Google review
Wide park with grass, trees, and a lake in the center. There are benches to sit down, a few public restrooms, playgrounds and trash cans. There are mostly ducks, goose, pigeons, sparrows, and fish at this park. The cons about the park, There is some litter here and there, There was a guy shouting profanity out loud without any care not sure why. Some homeless live at the park Overall it is a good park at a nice location
S T — Google review
No good for meeting new people at.. that’s contrary to the reputation. Lots of friendly people tho good for family.. keep the kids away from the trails and don’t let them go climbing in the trees cause in there may be a pile of toilet paper and poo everywhere right next to somebody’s makeshift home
Abraham N — Google review
I've driven past the park a million times but had no idea how huge it is. We went to the Renaissance fair and had a great time. The weather was perfect too and didn't know there was a lake in there!
Annie K — Google review
We have been going to this park for many years and it just gets better and better. The kids use to play on the playground. My husband use to race his R/C boats at the pond. We have had many days and nights of family time here. We love the park.
Steffany C — Google review
My first visit to Sunset park in Las Vegas area at sunset time. What a fantastic place to hang out. People walking around the pond, fishing, drumming group , families, solo people …plenty of parking, plenty of space to spread out.
Rambling R — Google review
Amazing oasis in the middle of Las Vegas. It has everything - a lake, playgrounds, volleyball courts, softball and baseball fields, a pickleball complex, trails, picnic tables, green areas, and more. It is perfect for kids and dogs. People were fishing and using remote-controlled boats in the lake. There are also lots of shaded areas.

Clark County Wetlands Park, the largest park in the county system, was established to manage waste and stormwater runoff. It features a 14-mile loop for hiking and biking through wetlands, offering opportunities for wildlife viewing including various bird species like Cinnamon Teal Duck and Great Blue Heron. The park is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna, with over 70 species of mammals and reptiles.
I enjoy coming here with my son to immerse myself in nature.I love that it has a wild feel to it.I love the tall blades of grass and the fields that look like wheat,I don't think it's actual wheat, but still very pretty. The water surrounding it is a treat,it's the wash that goes through the city but it's a nice break from the desert landscape that surrounds it.Big bridge to stand & watch the wildlife in the wash.We saw a crane.Great trails for bikers to ride as much as they want.Clean walking trails, most including duck creek are stroller friendly. The benches are a nice touch to just sit and take in the beautiful scenery. They also have a playground. My only complaint is all the houses & development surrounding it.I like the feeling of getting lost in nature and seeing all the development is a reminder that I'm truly not.Kind of a bummer, but still, beautiful place enjoyable for all.
Jennifer D — Google review
Wetlands has so many interesting sites to see and things to do. The visited center is amazing, with classrooms and displays. If you can take a walk, go see the stream as it tumbles into beautiful rapids. Great place for a weekly walk or to get out with the family.
J B — Google review
Wow! Nice job, Clark County! 👏 I worked on the Las Vegas Wash restoration project and we collaborated with folks from the County and all local cities back in the day when this park was an idea in design. You guys knocked it out of the park! This is a great place to do some quasi-urban hiking and bird watching. There are many critters that live in the wetlands and thanks to places like these can be enjoyed by the community.
Judith M — Google review
This place feels like a monastery for the wildlife more than a park for human. And in this case humans borrow this wildlife monastery as a park. It's like we step into the wildlife's world and temporarily jogging and enjoying in it. Meanwhile the true owners are the wildlife. I can hear the sounds of animals living their lives , something splashing in the water covered by leaves, birds singing, ants and other insects crawling on the ground yet in the middle is a paved road that we created.
Nana K — Google review
This was such an awesome spot to find! It was a great escape from the noises of the city. Definitely felt like we were away from it all. Super peaceful with lots of trails and things to see. It's an amazing spot for a "reset" when the city starts to feel overwhelming. Definitely recommend checking it out!
Jennifer L — Google review
A couple of the trails were under construction and the bathrooms weren’t flushing. Nice park, but needs work.
Lulu — Google review
This place is amazing with lots of very walkable trails. Unfortunately, today, the boardwalk was closed so the walking was limited, but the grounds itself are lovely for anyone who enjoys nature. Yet, another amazing outing in Clark County. Get out and enjoy! PS I would suggest wearing shirts/jackets with long sleeves and long pants as opposed to shorts, due to mosquitos and concerns regarding West Nile Virus.
Ms K — Google review
Beautiful wildlife area. Mostly random birds are visible. Water and lots of short pathways. I walked a mile, and there was plenty more to see. It reminded me of a desert oasis version of Norfolk Botanical Garden, where i'm from.

Springs Preserve is a nature-focused complex in Las Vegas that offers a unique opportunity to escape the city's hustle and bustle and immerse oneself in nature, science, and history. The property features the Origen Museum with live animal exhibits and an impressive flash flood demonstration, as well as the Nevada State Museum covering diverse topics from fossils to the Hoover Dam.
What a good place to visit! This place is more suited towards locals in the area, but as tourists we enjoyed this place. This is a big edutainment complex with the museums, botanical gardens, and more. Some of the places I really liked seeing here is the history of Nevada in the state museum and the flash flood simulation too. There was also a replica of a Wild West town at the back where there’s a tram that can take you. There’s shaded parking and this place often has lots of kids! Overall, I enjoyed my visit.
Landon B — Google review
Beautiful and vast, the Springs Preserve is a treasure for anyone who enjoys nature and history. The facility is clean, the staff and volunteers friendly and knowledgeable, and everything is well marked and easy to navigate. There are plenty of ramps and elevators for those who need them and I'm genuinely impressed with how many bathrooms there are and how easy they are to access. The gardens, the buildings and everything are beautiful and so well maintained. This is an extremely pleasant place to visit.
Stevi G — Google review
We happened to stumble onto the Dia De Muertos festival displays in the Preserve when we visited in a Friday morning. It was fantastic! The Springs Cafe is well positioned and anyone can access to it without having to pay for the Preserve’d entrance fee. The food is decent and inexpensive. My friend has annual pass, which is why we were able to get in the butterfly habitat inside the preserves as well. Other than 2 museums, there is a train that you can hop on and hop off at a place where there are different replicas buildings from 100 years in downtown and residential vegas. Awesome! Strongly recommended! Especially for families with kids..
Health W — Google review
The family and I went to Dia De Muertes on November 7th. It was truly beautiful and inspirational. To see all of the families who were celebrating their loved ones who has passed. It was truly a celebration of life. The Springs Preserve has very nice events. It's also great to visit anytime. So much to see and learn. The cafeteria also has really good food. I recommend a visit if you have time and would like someplace interesting to go in Vegas.
Yvette M — Google review
Springs Preserve is an absolute gem—a clean, vibrant, and thoughtfully designed destination that effortlessly blends education, entertainment, and family fun. From the moment you arrive, the lush greenery and shaded walkways invite you to explore, while ample seating and plenty of shady spots make it easy to relax and soak in the serene atmosphere. This place is a paradise for curious minds! The butterfly exhibit is a standout, offering a magical, up-close experience with these delicate creatures—perfect for sparking wonder in kids and adults alike. Don’t miss the exhilarating flash flood demonstration; it’s both thrilling and informative, showcasing the power of nature in a way you’ll never forget. When the desert heat kicks in, the splash pads are a lifesaver! Kids (and playful adults!) can cool off while laughing under the refreshing sprays, making it a highlight on warmer days. What’s more, the entire preserve is dotted with educational displays and interactive exhibits that make learning feel like an adventure—no textbooks required. Pro tip: Grab a season pass! With so much to see and do, it truly pays for itself after just a few visits. Whether you’re a local or a tourist, Springs Preserve offers endless opportunities for discovery, relaxation, and family bonding. Clean, well-maintained, and bursting with charm, this is one attraction that deserves a permanent spot on your must-do list. Five stars—don’t miss it!

Another 5 Star visit on Saturday Sept. 1st, 2025. The Lego Exhibit was remarkable!! Our grandgem was happy to see all the Lego displays but was most intrigued to build one!! We have Legos at home, but this was grandiose and awe inspiring!! Our grandgem kept tabs of how many days and hours it took to build. ....................................................... I love coming to walk and relax here!! The staff members are encouraging and pleasant, helpful and kind. I have come multiple times, including walking the gardens on Mother's Day! I'm posting a few highlights from previous visits, along with a video I made of a beautiful Asian lady and her son, Noah, on Friday, May 16th. I hope she looks to see this. 🙏🦋🦋

I had such a great time visiting Springs Preserve. It’s such a peaceful escape from the city and a perfect spot to slow down and enjoy nature. The gardens are beautiful, the walking trails are relaxing, and the exhibits are really interesting and educational. I loved how clean and well-maintained everything was, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. It’s a great place for a casual stroll, taking photos, or just soaking up some quiet time outdoors. I’ll definitely come back next time I’m in LA 🌿☀️

I haven't been to the springs preserve since I was maybe 12 years old. I used to love the interactive learning exhibits, the animals, the videos, but my favorite thing that I thought was so cool was the interactive flash flood exhibit! I took my husband who didnt grow up in Nevada and even as adults we had a blast!

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, located around 17 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip, is a popular natural attraction offering around 30 miles of hiking trails, mountain biking, and rock climbing opportunities amidst stunning red Aztec sandstone cliffs. This conservation area spans nearly 200,000 acres and is conveniently situated just minutes from the Summerlin area.
Absolutely Stunning and Worth Every Penny! Red Rock Canyon is hands down one of the most breathtaking places I’ve ever visited! The $22 entrance fee was totally worth it — I easily spent 5–6 hours exploring, and honestly could’ve stayed even longer. The scenery is unreal — red rocks glowing in the sunlight, unique formations everywhere you look, and endless photo-worthy views. What I loved most was the freedom to choose your own pace. The courses and trails were super approachable — easy enough to enjoy without being exhausting, but still adventurous if you want to climb, bike, hike, or even run. You can really do whatever you want out there: explore the rock formations, have a picnic, relax, and soak in nature’s beauty. There are spots where you can sit and eat while taking in the incredible views, and the sunset there is magical — the whole landscape turns deep orange and pink. It’s such a peaceful and grounding place, perfect for nature lovers or anyone needing a break from the city. Whether you’re solo, with friends, or family, Red Rock Canyon is a must-see. Go early to make the most of the day, bring water and snacks, and don’t forget your camera — every moment here feels like a postcard! 🌄 There’s a Gift shop, visitors center for help or questions and bathrooms at each trail- ranging from easy to difficult.

We had an amazing day at Red Rock! The weather was absolutely perfect for our visit. We packed a lunch and enjoyed it at one of the scenic picnic areas while taking in the incredible views and spotting some local wildlife. I brought my drone and captured some stunning aerial shots of different areas — truly breathtaking! Red Rock Canyon is a must-visit if you're in Las Vegas. It’s only about 20–30 minutes from the Strip, making it an easy and worthwhile day trip. Be sure to stop by the Seven Magic Mountains afterwards — it’s just about 35 minutes from the Strip and adds a colorful finish to your adventure.

Throughly enjoyed the drive through the conservation area. Excellent scenic stops along the 13 mile loop. Wish we had more time for the hikes and trails. Definitely could spend an entire day there. Wonderful views and opportunities for photos.
Gene — Google review
I missed you very close to downtown Las Vegas. Staff was courteous and friendly. We got great recommendations for hikes around the loop. Quite busy, but still, no one traveling off the beaten path. A gorgeous place to go and visit!
Beth F — Google review
We recently went to Red Rock Canyon and I cannot count all the times we have been. I do know this was our 34th time to Vegas so Red Rock Canyon has to rank in the high 20's of times we have been here. If you want to be close to paradise and away from the maddening crowds and noise of Vegas this is the place to go. The visitors center is the first chapter to the wonderful, lasting, memories you will be making. Here you will obtain all the information about the area from an infomation booth, litiature to read, and they also have talks throughout the day from learning about different animals who make this area their home, how the parķ was made, and much, much more. A walking area at the visitors center allows you to see tortoises in their natural habitat as well. The 13 mile loop you drive around the area will litterly take your breath away. There is a million photo ops throughout the area. Seeing burros, big horn sheep, tortoises, and different bird species is another plus. My husband, grown daughter and myself feel very blessed we have had so many opportunities to see this beautiful National Conservatory area.
CMS-DES — Google review
I’ve been here countless times. I grew up hiking the trails here and still do to this day. There’s something special about the Mojave Desert, and this park specifically. Some of my favorite day hikes are Kraft Mountain for when I’m wanting a fun scramble, Ice Box Canyon / Lost Creek after snow melt in the Spring for some water, and Ash Spring for a peaceful stroll with beautiful desert views. Sunsets here are incredible and the view of the Vegas Valley is great anywhere in the park. There are also a few picnic areas/tables. All in all, a gem in the desert.
Miguel Á — Google review
Red Rock Canyon is spectacular, there are easy hikes, a beautiful one way drive or challe going hikes. There is even a waterfall just a short hike from a parking spot. The visitors center is beautiful and at the beginning of the drive. Don't miss it. No refreshments however so bring you picnic with you. They do free events as well like star gazing.
Carol B — Google review
My brother and his friends brought me here for a morning road trip, and we did the bike trail before that. Such a beautiful, well-preserved area! The rock formations are stunning— definitely a must-see if you’re around Vegas and looking for nature activities. 🌄

Park
Spring Mountain Ranch State Park, located near Red Rock Canyon in the Las Vegas Valley, offers a variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, picnicking, and historical re-enactments. The park's historic ranch house, once owned by notable figures like Howard Hughes, now serves as a visitor center. Visitors can explore the lush oasis-like scenery and tranquil walks within the park while enjoying the breathtaking red-banded sandstone canyons of Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.
Definitely worth the $10 to get in. Lots of hiking with great views and grass you could lay in or have a picnic. The ranch house is filled with cool tidbits, and if you catch a tour you get a ton of info about the area. Plus, like, who doesn't like to see some cows? Always try to get here a couple times a year.
Meladrix — Google review
Cute area down the road from Red Rock. Since it’s outside the city the temperature is a bit cooler, and snow can even be seen here in winter sometimes. The trails are short but beautiful and there are plenty of trees and some picnic tables in the center, but watch out for animal feces. Cows and donkeys can be seen in their pen from a distance but I’m not sure if you’re able to get close to them. This is a state park, so don’t forget to check out the visitor center and get a stamp for your Nevada state parks passport! Normally the stamps are sitting out and you can do it yourself or the staff are more than happy to give you one, but I asked an employee there and she was giving my group a hard time about it. Nonetheless, we got our booklets stamped.

I have lived in town since 2010 and just recently discovered this amazing ranch. The history and beauty of it is so perfect. I am an outdoor person and I have found my newnfavorite spot. The trails are not horrible and will not kill you if your just looking for a short easy trip. The scenery is unmatched. You see so many different landscapes its almost like your in a different area for all of them. The history here is educational and the ranch house is beautiful. Learning about the Pahrump Pooling fish was also something I was not expecting. Can't wait to go back.

This place is such a hidden gem! Awesome place with plenty to explore! The hikes are very well laid out, not too hard. Green grass picnic area with tables to chill at for a perfect weather day. They do have a gift shop with a small selection of snacks. Plenty of parking as well. It’s $10 for Nevada residents per 1 vehicle. Bathrooms are on site as well!

Best hidden gem I've found so far in the Las Vegas valley. This had the best hiking trails in the ash grove trees for my young hikers. The historical farmhouse had so much to learn. Thank you staff for showing us the beautiful land.

You MUST come at least once if you live in Las Vegas. This is the 50th year anniversary of Super Summer Theatre. You will not regret the trip. Bring your eats and booze or get them there. They have food trucks and con sessions. Such a wonderful evening under the 🌟 You can hear the wild donkeys 🫏 after the sun goes down. 10/10 recommend .

Pioneer Day at Spring Mt Ranch. Stayed about an hour and a half two hours. Should have brought a picnic lunch... Saw couple of donkeys on the way up there. Even a baby! We ate some fresh butter, lassoed a bull, pan handled for gold, figured out knots, cleaned clothes on a board, made a "voodoo" pioneer doll and pinwheel, made some soap, and a lot more.... it was cool.

The rangers there are SO RUDE! They followed us around in their truck… I had a camera that I recently bought just to take simple photos & they asked me if I’m a professional or amateur photographer. Why does that matter? They told us we couldn’t go outside the white fence. There’s white fences EVERYWHERE??? 🤣 anyway, it’s pretty here. But make sure you don’t piss them off. They didn’t kick us out, but that’s only because there was 10 minutes left till closing.

Floyd Lamb Park is a sprawling natural oasis covering over 2,000 acres in Las Vegas. It offers picturesque picnic areas, serene lakes, and abundant wildlife including ducks and peacocks. The park features the historic Tule Springs Ranch, providing insight into the region's early life. Visitors can explore horse trails and fishing ponds for a rustic experience amidst stunning views of the Sheep and Spring Mountain ranges.
The structures & the grounds are so well kept. It feels like you're in a different state with all the tall trees, grass & water. Beautiful snapshot from the past. Lots of bathrooms, picnic areas, shaded walking/biking trails. It's peaceful, beautiful, rich in history, unique and a stark contrast to the bleached desert that surrounds it.

A little slice of heaven in Sin City! Don't get me wrong, I love living here but this park feels so out of place compared to most of the rest of the city. It's absolutely amazing and special. It's a paradise of greenery surrounding a few different interconnected ponds/lakes stocked with fish. The paths in the park are wonderful and there's always someone around. I actually come here to ride my bike at the XC trail within the park but have come to really appreciate the park itself as well. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors of Vegas. It will give you a perspective of the valley that most don't realize.

Fun to be here. Everytime we want to get out of the house to get a cool breeze, we come here... Grab some food and drinks on the way... We all love our picnics here... Plus FYI, this park honors military families with free entrance. Thank you Floys Lamb Park for your continuous support! 👋👋🙂

Feels like a different state! This is truly an oasis within the desert that is Nevada. Grass, trees, lakes, ducks, this park is teeming with life. There are even wild peacocks here! The mountains in the distance add a breathtaking touch. There are several historic buildings from the early 1900s, accompanied by informational signs describing what each building was for. There are probably close to 50 picnic tables scattered across the vast property. There are 3 or 4 sizeable lakes full of ducks, geese, and fish. Fishing is permitted with a maximum of 3 catches per person. This place is great for family gatherings, birthday parties, weekend excursions, daily walks, and more!

We had a picnic here at the parking lot 4. This is a reserved picnic area that has 2 big tables and a grill. There is a lot of smaller ones that are available for free, they don’t have a cabana over it but still lovely and grill is there too. Shout out to ranger Debbie - she is amazing!

Nestled in The Paseos Village, Fox Hill Park is a beloved 18-acre adventure play park in Summerlin. It boasts over 20 play structures, including a thrilling zip line, a towering 32-foot climbing structure known as The Orange Beast, swings, and a frisbee golf course. This popular recreational park offers fun for kids of all ages with its diverse range of climbing features and exciting amenities such as embankment slides and custom swings.
Fox Hill MAY be one of the best parks Vegas has to offer. It has many different activities and playgrounds for all ages and sizes. I really liked the climbing structures they had. Also had 2 big zip lines that we had a blast on! This park won't disappoint! It has things for everyone to do. So go check out Fox Hill Park highly recommend it!

Fox Hill Park is hands down one of the coolest parks in Vegas. It’s massive, super clean, and packed with wild stuff for the kids—giant slides, zip lines, climbing ropes, you name it. The views are insane too. My kids didn’t want to leave. Easily a 5 star spot we’ll be coming back to often.
Lane M — Google review
Loved Fox Hill Park! Located in a safe community, super clean and so nice to see kids enjoying outdoors. Perfect for kids riding their bikes, for edgy kids who love to climb and do adventurous challenges and overall all ages!
Jennifer O — Google review
Fox Hill is truly the most perfect place for views of the Las Vegas city skyline. The park itself is beautiful and has lots of amenities. I particularly love the walking trail that leads from here to Paseos Park and further, but there’s an abundance of picnic areas and areas for kids to play as well, including huge slides and a zip line that I would’ve loved as a kid. The grass is always well-kept, and the hills are vast—again, the perfect picnic location with the best view. I truly do love this park!

Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument, located just 20 miles from the vibrant Las Vegas Strip, offers a captivating glimpse into the Ice Age. Spanning 22,650 acres of arid valley, this site was once a thriving wetland teeming with diverse wildlife. The fossil record here preserves remnants of ancient creatures such as mammoths, saber-toothed cats, camelops, and dire wolves. Additionally, rare Las Vegas bear poppies add to the area's allure.
Another beautiful NPS site. This was my first stop after landing in Las Vegas and it was well worth it. The views of the mountains are amazing. Walking along the fossil beds was quite an experience as well.
George F — Google review
Very interesting site. A couple of good interpretive signs. It's hard to see fossils but a lovely view of the Sheep Range and the Spring Mountains. Mummy Mountain is prominent to the east. Alluvial fans from the Sheep Range are prominent.
Andrew B — Google review
This is a great area, it was very interesting and I would recommend it very much. But please read the information carefully because when they say there are no amenities or no shade, they truly mean it. The trail is mostly large gravel so be mindful of shoes and steadiness of hikers. The trails were very well marked and the stops were easy to access through QR code. Bring a bag to help with trash removal if you see any and if you have a pet, please pack it out!
Heather B — Google review
Tule Springs is a hidden gem in the Las Vegas area and one of the most peaceful spots to visit if you need a break from the city. Whether you're walking the trails, exploring the historic ranch, or just relaxing by the ponds, it offers a quiet, scenic experience that’s perfect for all ages. The wildlife, especially the birds and turtles, make it a favorite for families and nature lovers. It’s clean, well-kept, and full of charm — a great place for a picnic, photos, or just some fresh air. I highly recommend checking it out if you’re in Vegas and want something different from the Strip.
Neon W — Google review
The small entry fee makes it affordable. Kids under 12 years old are free. The visitor center offers engaging natural history exhibits, immersive videos, and interactive displays. It’s an excellent intro to the park’s lore and gives you a vivid sense of what life was like when the Las Vegas area was lush wetlands, teeming with mammoths, saber‑toothed cats, and dire wolves.

Very lovely park within a very nice neighborhood. Lush green grass and lots of trees. This is a very active park. Very responsible dog owners walking their dogs. Not one dog poop left behind. Nice playground for the kiddies.

We are always on the look out for parks with playgrounds that have something unique (like the train here) so we can give them fun nicknames. We came here because it had a roller rink and little dude (almost 3) is obsessed with hockey. We had a blast with all the extra kids on a no school day but it’s also nice on mellow days. Decent bathrooms, decent amount of picnic benches, variety of slides and climbing, nice fun colorful train, lots of grass, shade and the sports fields/rinks/courts were great.
Ale P — Google review
I love this park. It's not quite the hidden gem anymore as it's busy a lot of the time now. However it's a very nice place for a walk and to get a little fresh air. The landscaping is very nice with thoughtful placement of the trees along the trail to give you nice shade patches. This is a great park for birdwatching as well. In the winter they decorate the park and have a big Christmas tree. The park is kept very clean which is greatly appreciated. I've been coming here for years and it's just a great little spot of green that feels like a little oasis in the city. For amenities there is a community center, lots of benches, BBQs, tennis courts, a skating/hockey area, volleyball, basketball courts. There's a decent sized kids play area as well. Plenty of parking but can get full at peak times like the weekend.

Garden Park has been my favorite park for years. I had my maternity photoshoot here 4 years ago and now I bring my son all the time—it’s his favorite park! He loves the playground, and the whole park feels so peaceful. We enjoy listening to the birds, walking around, and the grassy areas are huge. Perfect for a family picnic and enjoying the greenery.
Matisla — Google review
Lovely spot for dog walking, with a long paved path surrounding the complex. Blossom trees lining an inner path great for photos. Plenty of spots to lay in the grass and have a picnic lunch. Large center field where kids can run. A large playground and tennis courts. It's shaded most of the year and not very crowded so a nice place to walk your dogs.
Tara V — Google review
There is a large playground for kids in excellent new condition . There are no super high drops, even on the older kids structure, which is a relief because smaller kids always go up on these things. The playground is far from the road so even though there’s no fence it feels pretty relaxed and in addition the road is quite . The park itself stretches out much further than the playground in an oval shape. Lots of paths take you through pretty shaped hedges with new and clean picnic tables each with a barbecue and trash bin. Lots of trees to provide shade. Lots of paths provide ample opportunity for scootering or walking your dog. It’s also pretty empty and therefore serene. The grass is green and lush and in general the park is very well maintained and has a very clean look and feel. There is also two tennis courts (which can be reserved in advance) , a basketball court and a rollerblading/roller hockey court!

Nestled in The Arbors Village, the Arbors Tennis and Play Park is a hub for tennis enthusiasts, boasting five well-lit courts, including a stadium court. It also houses a pro shop and offers the expertise of an on-site tennis professional. Additionally, it serves as the headquarters for the Summerlin Tennis Club. For families, Arborville provides a delightful play area for kids while there's also a basketball court and ample green space to enjoy picnics or outdoor activities.
One of my favorite parks in Summerlin! It is well kept, well lit, well secured, and it offers tennis classes for all age groups. It has all my favorite amenities a park can offer; basketball courts, tennis courts, children’s playground, clean public restrooms and walking trails. My favorite part is the beautiful green lawn. There’s plenty of space in the lawn for a picnic, yoga, volleyball, and to play fetch with your dog.

Downtown Container Park in Las Vegas is a unique shopping and dining destination made from repurposed shipping containers. The park features small boutiques, offbeat stores, bars, and restaurants set in and around 40 shipping containers. Visitors are greeted by a 40-foot-tall fire-breathing praying mantis sculpture at the entrance. The open-air courtyard includes a playground with a massive tree house and play zone.
This was such a fantastic place to take the kids! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The play area was absolutely massive—plenty of space for kids of all ages to run, climb, and explore. It was thoughtfully designed with activities that kept even the older kids engaged and entertained for hours. The entertainment was top-notch as well, with a variety of fun options that added to the excitement and kept everyone smiling. The overall atmosphere was energetic and lively, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It was busy, but in the best way—lots of happy families, laughter, and a real sense of community. The staff was friendly and attentive, helping everything run smoothly even with the large crowd. Their favorite thing had to be the Bug! The music, dancing and flames were super exciting for the little ones to see! We’ll definitely be coming back. It’s not easy to find a place that both kids and adults genuinely enjoy, but this spot nailed it!

It’s packed with adorable shops, tasty restaurants, and a laid-back atmosphere that’s perfect for wandering. One of the highlights is the giant praying mantis sculpture at the entrance—it puts on a fiery show where it shoots flames out of its antennae! Totally unexpected and very Vegas in the best way. Whether you’re looking to grab a bite, shop for something local, or just take in the creative energy, this place is worth a visit. Great for families, date nights, or anyone wanting a break from the usual Strip scene.

Not very busy at all. To the delight of the Chris and Tyler there is a high end car show tonight! The atmosphere was relaxed, music playing, a few security guards, clean and inviting. We didn't stay to eat or shop this time, but we have a few more days, and definitely plan on coming back. Erin EnD Adventures

Review by Aaron G. Beebe — Owner of GonnaHappen Downtown Container Park – Fremont Street, Las Vegas Downtown Container Park is one of the most unique spots in the Fremont Street area — a creative mix of food, family-friendly fun, live entertainment, and that classic downtown Vegas energy. I first came through the Container Park just three weeks after moving to Fremont Street with a girl named Jamie, and it instantly felt like one of those places you could spend hours exploring. On one of my recent visits, I met two very friendly greeter women — one of them even lives right near me. Moments like that remind you how local and community-driven this place really is. I even had a lady with a large family ask me where they should eat, and although I don’t have kids, I truly wished I could guide her better because the Container Park has so many great options. This place is perfect for families — kids can play and stay entertained, adults can relax, grab food or a drink, and everyone can enjoy the good vibes. You can watch football games, catch small performances, enjoy live music, and of course see the iconic fire-breathing mantis — one of the coolest pieces brought in from Burning Man. Honestly, the Container Park has huge potential but under utilized. With my background in entertainment, events, and community activations and volunteer work, I can easily see how this spot could host even more shows, local talent, family events, cultural showcases, and block-style community fun. It’s already a gem, but with the right programming, it could be one of the best family-friendly entertainment hubs downtown. I even tried to apply to the Downtown project and downtowner to maybe help and get paid. It's affordable fun, great energy, safe for families, and a perfect place for locals and visitors to relax — that’s what the Downtown Container Park delivers. #ContainerPark #DowntownVegas #FremontStreet #GonnaHappen #VegasLocalVibes #aarongbeebe

Park On Fremont is a 5000-square-foot gastropub offering a vibrant outdoor space with front and back patios. The taxidermy-rich setting adds to the eclectic atmosphere, while the courtyard garden in the back provides a peaceful escape with twinkling lights, blooming flowers, and distressed wood walls. The menu features casual brunch specials, sandwiches, craft burgers, and a wide selection of beer and creative cocktails.
Our waitress was so kind! The back patio felt like a fairy garden combined with Alice in wonderland and Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. There was a fire going to add to the mood and heat it up. Our waitress, Kagan, was sweet and helpful. She answered questions about dairy and gluten allergies thoroughly and offered alternatives when something was not allergen friendly. I had a hamburger on a good gluten free bun with vegan cheese that actually melted! The drinks were amazing! Kagan kept a positive attitude with some challenging customers. The smoking area was cute and inviting! The patio walls were covered in eccentric plates. There are some bizarre wallpapers and art that add to a peculiar but pleasant atmosphere!

If you only have time for one stop on Fremont Street—make it this one! We wandered into The Park on Fremont and walked out convinced it’s the crown jewel of downtown Vegas. The food? Delicious. Nestled in the heart of Las Vegas, the Old Las Vegas Mormon Fort State Historic Park is a fascinating glimpse into the city's origins. Established in 1855 by missionaries, this adobe fort represents the first permanent settlement in the area. Visitors can explore its historic remains and enjoy a visitor center that provides insights into its significance. Located just south of Washington Avenue on Las Vegas Boulevard, it's conveniently close to other attractions like the Las Vegas Natural History Museum.
My daughters, niece, and I chose to visit the old Mormon fort to learn about a piece of Las Vegas history. We enjoyed the informative exhibits, learning about their clothing, daily lives, and diets. Afterward, we also visited Kiel Ranch. The customer service was excellent; after we paid, we were kindly informed that our receipt allowed us to visit other state parks that day. The price was very reasonable at $3 per person. I highly recommend a visit. P.S They have small movie area to watch the history of Vegas.
Yɛɲ P — Google review
This is a must go-to place for anyone interested in Las Vegas history. The displays in the visitor center were well done and the information video offered in a small theater was very good. There is a reconstructed creek so you could get an idea of the fort’s water source. The displays in the fort were nice but could’ve been executed with more information for those that wanted additional details. The restrooms were clean. The Fort complex is above the visitor center and is the only developed way to get there is via an outdoor staircase. I visited on a robust knee scooter, and a dirt pathway was pointed out to me. It was not easy to manor and I am fit and well practiced with the scooter. I think most would have a very hard time with a wheelchair, which is unfortunate. Once on top, the dirt was rather loose which meant a few surprise holes not apparent just by looking where you are going. Also, there were only 2 handicap parking places, but a Ranger truck was parked in one of them! It didn’t have a handicap placard! So beware if you have mobility difficulties. There is a nice but limited gift shop inside the visitor center.

Beth and Kevin were amazing for getting additional history and facts about the grounds, fort, etc. be sure to say hi to Ranger Whiskers. As a fallout fan they had a display for the game and followers lab coat. Neat to see gaming draw attention to little-known history hidden in plain sight.

As an early riser, I was looking for something to do in Vegas in the morning hours, before the heat really kicks in. For that, I can really recommend a visit at the Old Mormon Fort! It is not big, so expect to spend around 1h here if you look at everything, including the introductory exhibition at the entry. There’s also a nice museum shop with postcards. Full recommendation for a (for once) quiet and relaxing time in Vegas.

This park offers plenty of hiking and biking trails as well as a playground for the kiddos. The views from the top are definitely worth a visit, especially in the summer months when the weather is nicer!
Had a whole lot of fun here. It's western themed art the playground and there are so many things for kids to do. There's a swing at, sand box, rock climbing wall, see-saws, slides, a wagon to climb on, a tee-pee to get into, and a little zip line. Wonderful place to spend the whole day. Dog friendly, wheel chair accessible, and picnic tables for parties and lunch. Parking can get crowded because this park is so popular. There is a mountain to hike and have a nice view of the city. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes. In the summer, the water for the splash pad will be turned on. Bathrooms are available but the up keep on them is poor in the weekends.

Beautiful place and never any complaints. I come here often with my son, and my dog and we always have such a great time. Parking is never a problem, very scenic views. Worth checking out.

5 stars. Perfect walking path. Lots of shade at the park and around the path. Real grass with sprinklers, splash pad at the park. This park got it right. Slight elevation changes on the walking path but nothing crazy. I live in north las vegas and drove all the way here and it was worth every minute. Stayed for about 2 hours on a Saturday morning and it was perfect!

We love coming here. It’s a nice walk and a nice hike up the hill. The top has an awesome view of all of Las Vegas. They keep the park really clean. A really nice playground for the children too.

Exploration Peak Park: Adventure and Scenery in Las Vegas Exploration Peak Park is a standout destination for anyone seeking a break from the Las Vegas Strip. It's a place where families can relax and kids can truly let their imaginations run wild. The park is famous for its Wild West-themed playground. This isn't your average playground; it's a massive, multi-level area with a variety of slides, climbing structures, and even a zipline. The design, which includes mock storefronts and a covered wagon, makes kids feel like they're in a real frontier town. The play area is designed for different age groups, so toddlers and older children will all find something fun to do. During the warmer months, the splash pad is a huge hit. It's a fantastic spot for children to cool off with water jets and fountains, providing a refreshing break from the desert heat. For those who love to hike, the park's main feature is Exploration Peak. The trail to the top is well-maintained and not too difficult, making it perfect for families. From the summit, you are rewarded with incredible, 360-degree panoramic views of the entire Las Vegas valley and the stunning Red Rock Canyon. Beyond the main attractions, the park also offers large grassy fields for games, shaded picnic areas with tables and BBQ grills, and paved walking paths. It's a great spot to simply lay out a blanket, enjoy a meal, and take in the peaceful atmosphere. Whether you want an active day of hiking or a relaxing afternoon with the family, Exploration Peak Park has it all.

Aliante Nature Discovery Park is a serene 20-acre park located in North Las Vegas, known for its peaceful ambiance. The park features tennis and volleyball courts, as well as a lake, waterfall and a dinosaur-themed playground area that is fenced-in with a triceratops head cave. There are also picnic tables available for visitors to enjoy food from nearby fast food spots.
I love this park! All the beautiful water with beautiful ducks and even a waterfall And of course, the great dinosaur park and playground. I had an amazing time with my grandchildren! I had so much fun. I can't wait to come back. If you have kids or grandkids this is a perfect place to go. It's a beautiful park. At least check it out. You'll have a blast!

I absolutely love this park, but I noticed yesterday that the turf on the playground is needing to be replaced. I'd also say that people love the swings, and it would be nice if they added two additional sets of swings. I am a grown up, but very rarely do I ever get an opportunity to swing. Lol! It is a nature park, so don't be surprised when you see a lot of poop on the concrete. Overall, it's a beautiful Park to walk around, and take in the natural beauties of Earth!

I've walked with my dog around this park and loved it. Got to see inside with my nephew and it's awesome. Digging for fossils was the coolest thing. He loved all of the slides and the jungle gym. Was so fun and it's gated.

A sweet escape to enjoy a large waterfall with ponds on water adjacent with ducks. Also a great dinosaur theme playground for kids. Be prepared for bird waste on the walkways and saw quite a bit of trash in the water.
Mamie Z — Google review
This park used to be really nice but the maintenance people haven't kept up with the bird poop and the trash. The cushion flooring is falling apart kids are falling in Holes and tripping where are the maintenance people to take care of this place?

⚠️ WARNING: Dangerous Park for Small Dogs and Owners ⚠️ I used to love this park and walked my dog here almost every day. Unfortunately, I now feel the need to warn others — there are aggressive dogs off-leash here. Today, two German Shepherds nearly killed my small Maltipoo. I had a panic attack as these huge dogs ran at us and started attacking. It was 2 large German Shepherds against petite me and my tiny dog — an absolutely terrifying experience. It took the police 40 minutes to arrive, and when they finally did, they were not helpful at all. If they had come sooner, perhaps the owner could have been held accountable and learned the importance of being a responsible citizen in public spaces. If you value your safety and your pet’s life, stay away from this park. (Attached: photo of the irresponsible owner and her dogs.)

Very nice park! This park doesn’t have as much as others I’ve seen, but it’s a great place to see some wildlife. The waterfalls are beautiful. The Dino park looks cool! Dogs are allowed and it looked clean. Some picnic areas need repair

An Unexpected Oasis of Tranquility in Las Vegas! ★★★★★ I recently discovered an absolutely amazing and beautiful park here in Las Vegas, and it is a true hidden gem. For anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle, this is the perfect spot. The park is a wonderfully open space, offering a refreshing sense of freedom and peace right in the city. The ambiance is what truly sets this place apart. With stunning waterfalls and serene ponds filled with graceful ducks, the atmosphere is simply perfect for relaxation. I spent a lovely afternoon sitting on the soft grass with a good book and took some time to meditate. It was the ideal setting to unwind and recharge. Beyond its tranquil beauty, the park also offers a couple of great activities, making it a versatile destination. This is an absolute must-visit for locals and tourists alike who are seeking a peaceful retreat. I can't recommend it enough!

It was amazing . A great price and lots of fun. Staff was really nice and walked around passing out sunblock. I like how they have wveryone take a 15min break after an hour in the pools. They make it safe for babies to 100 yrs old. We will be going back again just to go down the two large slides 🛝.

Really reviewing for the dog parks! These are the best dog parks in the area BY FAR. They are well maintained, trash emptied frequently, and they rotate parks at a great pace that they never feel over run. I frequent the small dog park and the “community” is awesome. There are a bunch of people that come every night with their camping chairs and just chat while the dogs play and I love it! Lots of shade and places to sit :) there are even fountains for you to fill up your dog bowl!

Desert Breeze Park: A Las Vegas Gem! If you're looking for a fantastic spot to get active or just relax, Desert Breeze Park is a must-visit. This massive park has something for everyone! For Fun & Fitness: You'll find baseball fields, soccer fields, a skate park, and a community center with a pool. Kids will love the playgrounds, and on a hot day, the water park is the perfect place to cool down. There are also plenty of picnic areas with BBQ grills for a family lunch. A Dog Owner's Dream: But what really makes this park special is the dog community. The dog park has separate fenced areas for large and small dogs, with plenty of space for them to run and play. The atmosphere here is just incredible—you'll find the most positive and friendly people. It's a fantastic spot to meet fellow dog lovers and is especially known as a great meetup point for all the gorgeous Siberian Huskies in the area. This park is more than just a space; it's a great place to connect with others who share that good dog-owner vibe. Highly recommend a visit!

This is my favourite park while I am in Vegas. The soccer fields are too good for walks and run. Children playing area, picnic spots and walking paths are all good and well maintained.
Prabhakaran P — Google review
Nestled in the heart of our bustling community, there's a sanctuary that stands out as the park of all parks. This sunken gem, with its expansive, bowl-like terrain, is a dream for pet owners; it's the perfect spot to let your dogs roam and romp until they're delightfully exhausted, chasing frisbees or simply basking in the freedom of open space. For families, it's a playground of possibilities: wide-open fields invite spirited soccer games with the kids, fostering laughter, teamwork, and those irreplaceable bonds that only outdoor adventures can weave. What truly elevates this place is its thoughtful accessibility with 6 easy entry points mean no hassle, allowing you to dive straight into the serenity without the frustration of crowded lots or confusing paths. The grounds are impeccably clean, with visitors responsibly picking up after themselves and their furry friends, creating an environment of mutual respect that speaks volumes about the community it attracts. It's refreshing in a world that often feels chaotic and neglected. Philosophically speaking, this park reminds us of the Stoic wisdom that true happiness lies in harmony with nature and one another. In an era dominated by screens and schedules, places like this encourage us to pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect with the earth's rhythms, watching the sun filter through leaves or hearing the distant echo of children's giggles serves as a gentle nudge toward mindfulness and gratitude. It's not just a park; it's a philosophical retreat, where the act of play becomes a meditation on life's fleeting beauties, urging us to cherish the present moment amid the greenery. I've visited countless parks over the years, from urban oases to sprawling national reserves, but this one holds a special place in my heart. Whether you're picnicking under a shady tree, strolling along well-maintained trails, or simply sitting on a bench to observe the world go by, it offers a respite that's both invigorating and restorative. The subtle design elements, like benches strategically placed for optimal views and trash bins that blend seamlessly into the landscape, show a level of care that enhances every experience. On weekends, it buzzes with energy yet never feels overwhelming, striking that perfect balance between lively and peaceful. In short, I absolutely love this place. It's a testament to how thoughtful design and community spirit can create something truly magical. If you're seeking a spot to unwind, bond with loved ones (both two-legged and four-legged), or ponder life's deeper meanings, make your way here. You won't be disappointed; in fact, you might just leave feeling a little more centered and alive.

Lorenzi Park is a lovely park that's perfect for a day of relaxation and play. There are several playgrounds, picnic areas, and a pond to explore, as well as the Sammy Davis Jr. Festival Plaza theater. This park is great for families who want to get away from it all and enjoy some quality time together.
This park is tucked away on Washington between Rancho and Valley View. There are long walking trails for a brisk morning/afternoon walk. The wildlife does approach you seeming to want food but please don’t feed them. Also, thank you to the founder of this park for allowing so many families to create memories/moments here. Truly beautiful if you see the historical significance 🫶🏻

I walk there with my small dog, my friend and her baby at least once a week. Great area to walk around the pond, see the geese and their babies. Early morning fishing and they're catching some. Be sure to have your fishing license.......

Cute park with a lake, the playground area seems dirty so I don’t let my kids play there. We usually just go on bike rides- do keep your kids close at all times, there are a lot of sketchy people just hanging around the playground area. I have never seen security guards around to play it safe I go to Craig ranch park. It’s very clean and feels save

Disappointed we drove an hour round trip. This park was full of trash everywhere. You can see the grounds maintenance only mows from all the dead grass clippings. Just a very unkempt, trashy park. Why not get all the people serving community service to help clean this place up? It could be a lovely park.
The B — Google review
Lorenzi Park is a landmark in history. Having been built over 80 years ago, this iconic park of Las Vegas needs a little TLC, I must say. With a handful of different areas to enjoy yourself; by reading one of the many plaques with useful information on them, the walkways for you to stroll, jog or skate, the benches to sit and take in the sunrise, or read a book, patio tables to enjoy a lunch with your family or friends, playgrounds for the children to run around in, grassy areas if you just want to throw a blanket and relax or a rose garden for you to enjoy (tho I didn't see any roses this time go round)... all areas are in much need of maintenance and care. From the poop filled ponds to trash and graffiti all around... while it's still a nice, quiet park, it does have much room for improvements. As of 2024 I must say they did pick up the maintenence some. There's still quite a bit of trash in the bushes and poop on the sidewalks. I've seen a lot more people fishing tho and heard the trout is good eating. Also, as with any park, just about, in any city, you'll find the gathering of homeless individuals. While none of them were a bother to me, minding their own business enjoying their day, there were a few individuals I would not give trust to or want to be around after sundown. On a more positive note, the wildlife here is a pleasant site to see. There's a variety of different birds wading in the ponds and waddling the grounds. From many different species of ducks, to geese, pigeons, and doves. This park is their home, but they don't mind sharing it with you. The lakes are also stocked, I hear, so fishing is also an option, if that's your thing. I saw many people casting their lines into the water from single individuals to families and couples. It's a nice way to pass some time. Overall, I go here to take my daily walks. I feel safe, and I accomplish my exercise without any setbacks, other than the letdown of the aesthetics and general appearance of the place. If you love parks, this would be one to add to your list and visit here in Las Vegas.

Yes! This is a large and gorgeous park with a lot to offer. There are 3 different play areas for kids, plus a splash pad to cool off in warmer weather. I only noticed one bathroom near the top parking lot, but I'm pretty sure there are more since the park is so big. The park also has a basketball court, tennis court, and a baseball field. It looks like they host a lot of events here too. Great spot for families! It's a nice spot to visit. However, be aware that there was quite a bit of bird (duck) poop on the tables and benches during our visit. If possible, bring your own chairs for a more comfortable experience. We did see people fishing—looked like catch and release

This is a gorgeous park by Lorenzi , unfortunately its full , i mean full of homeless and weird people, the city should try to keep it more secure and homeless free as its a public park. Let the kids pick the star rating this week, they said this is there favorite park, they asked if we could give an infinity star lol. We are trying to go to every park in Las Vegas, this was the best one yet. Cool playground, wish the water park was turned on guess we were there too early. The kids got to run through the sprinklers. All and all cool park

Great park for the kids to play and a decent walking path to get those steps in. There are basketball courts and a sand volleyball court as well. The play area has playground equipment, sand play area and a splash pad for the summer months. The open areas have lots of space and they do have two baseball/softball backstops. No actual field of play but bring your own bases and have a ball. All and all a good place to play in Vegas with the littles. Not sure what they will do for the water reduction project slated to start soon but it will be sad to see the grass go away (understanding the resource needs of grass but still sad if that’s the case).

The dog owners are responsible and alert, cleaning up after their pets and on a rare occasion playing referee if needed. We are definitely coming back!

There's a huge playground for the bigger kids, but the slides seem to always be locked. How are kids supposed to use them without access? They're slides. It's not like a kid can get really hurt going down. They're more likely to get hurt climbing up from the bottom to slide down.

There’s so much more to Las Vegas than the Strip. This park, for example. On a beautiful day there are ball games, people reading books on the grass, soccer game, kids and dogs. It’s a great place to take an easy walk, and there’s always parking. One of the many reasons I love Summerlin is how many parks there are.

Cottonwood Canyon is a scenic, linear park with paved pathways for walking and running. At night, the park can get very crowded, so it is best to visit during the daytime. It has a BBQ/picnic shelter.
Lovely for casual walks with a beautiful canyon and mountain view. I'm from out of state and had physical limitation to hiking this time, so we opted for a nature walk. This trail winds within the neighborhood and seems great for families and pets. Quiet and well kept. Beautiful scenery.

Nice park with unexpected large, shady grassy field. Nice to sit under shade. Docking a point because google maps directions will lead you to a locked gate and you’ll have to walk around through Costco parking lot to get to it.

This park can be hard to see from the street and parking can get very tight. It is located next to and in the back of a medical building. It's a very relaxing place to take a long walk. You will see lots of joggers, dog walkers, strollers. I noticed there are lots of birds chirping about. Quick tip - there are no play structures or restrooms nearby.

Lots of walking paths. 3 pretty big green grass areas. Fun to see all the rabbits along the trails. The only downside is the parking is a little far from the main park area.

This is a nice spot to visit for a walk on the trail or to jog. The trail is well maintained and leads to two small parks on each end, one of which is very close by. Unfortunately, the parking here is usually very limited during the day due to the nursing home next to it.

There are not very many parking spots considering how nice this park is. The bathrooms are clean. The grass is well maintained. I often see people but it has never been crowded. There are paved walking paths and several shade trees. The play areas seem maintained and are covered. There are covered picnic tables and many other parts to explore. There is plenty is enjoy in the rather small area.

Love this park~ has pickle ball courts (4 of them), a kids playground and a toddler playground. There aren't a lot of picnic tables but there's a good sized grassy area in the middle of the park. There are 3 pokestops and a gym for those Pokemon Go fans. There are walking trails that connect to the park also. There's also a good amount of shade in the late afternoon since it's close to the mountains. Since it's a pretty new park, people have been good about the dog poop. Only saw one large trail of dog poop once that I cleaned up with the available doggy bags. The kids there are pretty respectable too. Good crowd of people.

The Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens is a stunning atrium located within the luxurious Bellagio Resort & Casino. Throughout the year, a team of 120 horticulturists meticulously arrange thousands of flowers into breathtaking seasonal displays inspired by global events and natural themes. The 14,000-square-foot garden features vibrant plants, flowers, trees, gazebos, bridges, and ponds that change with each season.
This space was thoughtfully and beautifully curated for the fall season. It was vibrant and full of life. There were ample spaces to take photos if you don’t mind pausing to let people walk in front of you. The people visiting were extremely friendly. It felt like stepping in to a secret wonderland away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. I would recommend. My only complaint is I wish it were bigger.

Crowds permitting, this is a beautiful place to walk through. I love how it's always changing. The smell is pleasant, and you can really feast your eyes on all the flowers and sculptures. I also appreciate how the fountains use recycled rain water (I should have taken a picture of the sign for the specific).
GreenEyedGuide — Google review
The Bellagio Conservatory feels like something straight out of one of my thriller novels. As a thriller author, I’m always drawn to spaces that mix beauty with tension, and this one has that quiet, cinematic energy. It’s controlled chaos in a story. When I visited in November, it was set up with beautiful autumn colors. There’s a spitting frog, a pool with owls, and a giant green pumpkin surrounded by elegant place settings. Everything is absolutely stunning. It’s always busy in the evening, and honestly, I’ve never been here when it wasn’t. The main center display is incredible, showing off rich fall tones and detailed seasonal art. This is one of those places where you can’t help but stop and take it all in. Walking around the base display, there’s a huge tree and the massive pumpkin near the café area. Too bad the café seating isn’t open, because I’d love to sit there and work on one of my thriller novels. I took a slow-motion video of the owls perched beside the pumpkin, and another of the water fountain flowing from the pumpkin itself. The Bellagio Conservatory is one of those Vegas sights that never disappoints.

The Bellagio Conservatory is a true oasis in the middle of the Strip! The seasonal floral displays are absolutely stunning — every detail is beautifully designed, with vibrant colors, creative themes, and larger-than-life arrangements that change five times a year (Spring, Summer, Harvest, Winter, and Lunar New Year). It’s free to visit and open 24 hours a day, though early mornings or late evenings are the best times to avoid crowds. The combination of flowers, sculptures, and soft music makes it a peaceful escape from the Vegas bustle. Truly a must-see attraction inside the Bellagio — perfect for photos and a quick break between casino lights and shows. 🌸🌿✨

A must-see Vegas tradition! The Bellagio Conservatory is always stunning — it’s free to wander and perfect for taking photos or videos. Yes, it gets crowded, but it’s absolutely worth it. We visit every year, and the displays never disappoint — the flowers and seasonal décor are always breathtaking. If you have even a little extra time in Vegas, make sure to add this to your list. It’s one of those experiences that truly captures the magic of the city!

The staff are always friendly and ready to answer any questions. This is definitely one of my favorite places in Vegas!

Plenty of space for your little ones to walk or run.Small bridge gives a sweet movie feel with lush green trees and grass to surround every inch of your desire.Baseball fields to satisfy your desire of a ball game or just to bring your kids or teammates to practice.Hit this park in mid day and forget about the heat with the four seal splash pad.Need to use the restroom dont worry they have your back lol. Beautiful park surrounded by baseball fields. Has a fountain to play in, instead of a splash pad. Multiple restrooms and a fun, small, playground.
Jared K — Google review
Playground leaves a lot to be desired. Very small, and the only 2 slides are separate and difficult to climb. My 6yo made it up there okay but my 3yo couldn’t do it. Swings are in a separate area and have no shade so they were scorching by 11am. The splash pad looked nice, but we didn’t end up using it. Tons of grass and nice walking paths but I wouldn’t come back here with kids. We saw 3 homeless people during our short visit. I personally have no issues with them - they need shade and restrooms too. Just something to be aware of if it makes you uncomfortable.
Erin B — Google review
.Today, a man named Mike rode up on me and my children while we were playing—on his lawn mower. He showed no regard for how close he was to kids playing on equipment, and when I didn’t move fast enough, he acted like he didn’t even see us. My toddler was right there. It was obvious he had no concern for anyone’s safety. This kind of reckless behavior around children is completely unacceptable and dangerous.

This place has the best parking! I know that's an unusual thing to compliment but it's dope. It makes me wonder why more parks and parking lots don't have shaded carports. This park also has an abundance of shade trees covering the parking lots. Idk? All I can say is that I like what I like

Nice park clean, just some people they don't pick up after their dogs, but overall is clean.. I went today 7/7/2019, and it was so dirty the playground and around I dont if they did a party empty boxes super dirty today, I think the city should start charging to enter and that way they appreciated the hard that they do, today 8/22/22, park is kind of dirty, employees are really hard workers, is the parents they should teach their kids that they have to pick up their empty bottles, their empty bags of chips, the people with dogs check when they poop n pick it up please we have to keep all this treasures clean, we need the parks. Still thinking if city charges to enter here people maybe appreciates n keep it clean n safe, specially for the future generations
Aura M — Google review
My rating is largely based on how easy it is just to get up the slide. I don't know if my pictures are doing it justice, but there's no easy way to get to the slide. The equipment does state for kids starting at 5 years of age, but I'm not sure most 5 year olds could maneuver the way that is required to get to the slide. There are also 2 regular and 2 baby swings, black in color in an area with no chance for shade. Otherwise, there's a water feature for summer and one of those big plastic roundabouts; those are the two stars.

The Flamingo Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is a surprising oasis in the desert, featuring exotic animals like Chilean flamingos, koi fish, turtles, swans, ducks, and even pelicans. This four-acre habitat offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the Las Vegas Strip with its streams, waterfalls, and lush gardens. Visitors can enjoy up-close encounters with native hummingbirds and watch daily live feedings.
It seems not many locals know that the Flamingo has real Flamingos! This should be promote more to the community. I had relatives visiting and was looking for family friendly inexpensive things to do and found the habitat on a tourist attraction list. The habitat was a beautiful experience. It was so peaceful. My family loved the walking path and we really enjoyed taking pictures.
Marissa S — Google review
We stopped by the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat thinking it would be a fun and unique little break from the buzz of the Strip. The idea is great, but in reality, there just isn’t much to it. We were especially hoping to see flamingos—but there weren’t any out during our visit, which was disappointing. There are a few ducks and koi, and the grounds are nicely landscaped, but it’s really more of a 5–10 minute walk-through than a full experience. If you’re already nearby at the Flamingo or walking through the area, it’s a quick, peaceful stop—but probably not worth going out of your way for.
BradandJen M — Google review
Free entry, a nice side attraction from the usual fast paced strip. The facility seemed well kept, animals appear content and there was a nice variety of wildlife to check out. Turtles, Koi, (Obviously) Flamingo and some native species of bird. Quick and fun!
Noah C — Google review
Definitely worth going to see and taking the kids kind of like a mini zoo very interesting that most of those animals have been there for longer than a lot of the other people that were there have been alive the excitement of people seeing all the animals in our mix and move around was very enjoyable The Koi in this pond was larger than any. I have seen anywhere in any Koi pond. They were huge. The pelican has been there for over 20 years. They said he just showed up one day and stayed.

The first time we passed the habitat going to the hotel’s pool, we didn’t see any Flamingos out but the next day, they were out there as seen on the video. It was amazing to see real live Flamingos! You also don’t have to be staying in the hotel to get into the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat. It’s free for all. Check it out when in Vegas!

The habitat is a lil place with wildlife that is uniquely situated in The Flamingo. It's something you pass through on the way to the pool, and is picture perfect for selfies. It also has a hidden chapel where private outdoor weddings can take place. It can get crowded at times, but mornings are the best time.
Ms A — Google review
Cute little “zoo” but unfortunately people were ignoring the no smoking signs and staff was not enforcing it either. So hard to find anything to do in this city with a child that doesn’t expose them to smoke or nudity that I was hoping this outdoor/animal experience would be a win but it was not. To get to the exhibit you have to walk either through the smoky casino or past a fountain with benches where people are smoking and vaping. The keeper herself seemed very knowledgeable and the grounds seemed well tended but it was overshadowed by the nastiness that is Las Vegas culture

We loved the sanctuary! It’s a wide open concept which is great so is never crowded. Tons of parrots! Animals are well kept, volunteers are kind. Lots of rescued birds and they love the attention of the public. You can feed the goats, ducks… My daughter had a blast! Well priced
Kris Z — Google review
We like this place. It isn't in the best condition, very small and very limited amount of animals/birds to look at depending on when you go but I think they mainly run on volunteerism so this is understandable. We still enjoy bringing our toddler here for an outing as it is not far from our house. The rear end of their sanctuary is currently under construction so in this last trip we didnt get to see their full range of animals. Also we noticed their trees and plants beside these beautiful cacti are in desperate need of water though. The cacti were actually the highlight of this particular visit as they were blooming (we've been here at least 3 to 5 times over the last few years so I didnt take any pictures of the actual animals but they have goats, exotic birds, peacocks including albino, chickens, turkey, ostrich emu, pigs etc..and normally when not under construction i believe donkey and llama or alpaca). We haven't gotten to see any cacti bloom in person anywhere until now. Overall, I do recommend this place for a nice outing with family or young kids. The workers are friendly (mainly keep to themselves though while working on many projects) and definitely trying to make it a positive experience and patronizing the place is probably the only way to bring further improvements and more animals. Overall, it is a positive experience, and we will return I am sure

This is a beautiful hidden gem in Northwest Las Vegas! It’s got so many different birds, tortoises, donkeys, lamas and more. Each of which had proper space for their sizes. It’s all outdoors but there were shady areas where you can beat the summer heat. It’s fairly cheap to enter ($5 for adults). I would recommend checking out their website and donate to give a little extra to help out a cool animal sanctuary in our Las Vegas community :)

Stumbled across this place while visiting Vegas. My wife loves animals and we took a day trip out to the Gilgrease Nature Santuary and it was definitely worth the short drive. There were so many more animals than we were expecting. The Cockatoos were especially entertaining because they kept talking to us trying to get our attention. The director also took time out of her day to give us the backstory of the Sanctuary and walked us around their new addition that is being built. Had a really great time.
Charlie T — Google review
While small, the animals you see are amazing and friendly ( in their enclosures). Ticket prices were reasonable. Only downside was the rough concrete ang large slopes for wheelchairs.
Thomas M — Google review
Great experience for the Family, the kids loved it (9 and 3 year old) very welcoming person in the entrance, the prices are very cheap and they have a nice verity off animals. You can feed them as well with a dollar per cup. 4 stars is because I would recommend to have the place more clean or at least more alive, even if it says to raise up the prices. Once it’s more cleaned they place can for be published in much more places. Good luck

Green space with a roller hockey rink, basketball & tennis courts & a playground, plus picnic areas.
Great trail system offering different difficulty options and great views of the city. No shade along the way if you're there mid day, but it's a desert trail so to be expected. Main trail runs along the base of the mountain and is wide, well maintained and low difficulty. More of a walking path. 2nd trail skirts the mountain itself and is a bit more rugged. 3rd is up the mountain. If your in good shape I hear it's pretty easy, but I'm not so I haven't done it yet. Goal is end of the year.

This place is huge with so very much to do..it's perfect for anyone rather you want to just sit and relax or watch your pups at play there are a couple playgrounds some in which are covered. The scenery is beautiful plenty of walking areas and a great place for all to enjoy.
Amy H — Google review
A perfect one hour walking trail around the base of the mountain...well smoothed and wide. All the other walkers are friendly and you will sometimes share the path with horses. It's just a great way to start the day. If you want something a little more challenging, there are parallel trails, just a few yards up the mountain slope that are a bit more challenging, more narrow and a lot of fun for trail running. And the location of lone mountain could not be more perfect... Near ann road and the 215. One of my favorite things about this area is that I can see lone mountain from everywhere in town. And so wherever I am, I look towards it and know that I am close to a peaceful, happy outdoor experience.

Great place to hike. Around the mountain is about 2.5 miles. Beautiful views
Marquee A — Google review
Good hike right in Las Vegas. Not a long hike to the top, but pretty steep in places. And an occasional scramble. In some places, the rock is slick or the gravel is loose, so wear appropriate shoes with good soles. It was cool and sunny when we did it, but can be brutally hot. My son has done it at night for an awesome view of the city

Nice park with several different options of trails from easy to moderate. Good view of "the strip" and most of the Las Vegas Valley. Can be pretty busy but everyone was polite and took turns passing through narrow areas. It is very dog friendly, we passed several dogs and brought our own girl (who loved it too).

Located just a stone's throw away from the city center, the Las Vegas Community Healing Garden is a poignant and powerful tribute to the 58 individuals who tragically lost their lives in the 2017 mass shooting. This serene garden was swiftly constructed by the community as a symbol of strength and remembrance. The park features a moving wall of remembrance adorned with personal mementos contributed by family and friends, creating a vibrant tapestry of memories.
The Healing Garden is a serene and deeply moving tribute in the heart of Las Vegas. Created to honor the victims of the tragedy, it’s a peaceful space filled with beautiful plants, flowers, and thoughtful memorials. The tranquil atmosphere offers a place for reflection, healing, and remembrance. The design is simple yet powerful, with touches like personal messages, photos, and a tree of life. Visiting the garden is a humbling and emotional experience.

This is definitely worth checking out if you are in Las Vegas. It will most likely be emotional, but it is a great place to reflect and think about how we should cherish our loved ones. The tiles are beautiful, and it was nice to read the tributes.

The Healing Garden was born of a miracle. It went from a thought to a completed project in FOUR DAYS. The City donated the land without endless discussions and red tape. Nevadans self-organized, donating money, materials, labor and expertise. No one waited to be told what to do. They just showed up ready to get to work. Yes, the Garden has been modified over the years. After 8 years, what moves me to tears is knowing we have a lot of neighbors who genuinely love their community and are motivated to share what they can to bring comfort in a difficult time. (Photo is taken from the Garden facing the sunset on October 1, 2018.)

This memorial site for the 50+ persons who were eliminated by an evil gunman is quite a wonderful honorable memorial and work of art. It can be very sobering , sad & deeply reflective should one approach it empathetically. On a positive note, it reflects the truth and heartaches of human tragedy and loss that many of us, but not all should Confront and be prayerful for those in need and those who have suffered great loss. When the garden1st opened it had a magnificent ceremony several years ago . As a bugler I tearfully Played taps just outside the front gate which also brought back memories playing taps in Vietnam for a fallen Marine. This garden brings back memories then and in an honorable and sober moment in the present for all families involved. The photos below should speak volumes to your heart to keep all those in prayer at the garden, and around the world daily from the evil tragedies that fall mankind in our global ongoing warfare that befall many currently each day. The directions to the “Healing Garden” is located on Google as well as East Charleston at 1015 S Casino center Boulevard . Wheel chair accessible! Be blessed Jesus cares say your prayers. Amen!

For all of those who don't know what happened in the glittering city of Las Vegas. Humanity can scarcely be outdone in senseless cruelty. For all who lost their lives here, rest in peace. For the one who did this: No words!

Very beautiful garden. Although a bit sad, it's peaceful and quiet. The neighborhood used to be not the greatest but, it has come pretty far. So glad to see that even though you see some homeless people around, nobody seems to really mess with this place either. Maybe they feel the VEGAS STRONG spirit. The memorial sites for each one of the victims are very heartfelt. The community did great with getting together and creating this place.

A beautiful memorial garden for the victims of the October 1, 2017 shooting at the Route 91 Harvest Festival by a lone shooter operating from the Mandalay Bay hotel. It is a very nice set up with lots of attention to all victims. The garden is clean and nobody seems to have messed with it. The major down side is the absolute terrible location. Parking is not possible at the site and needs to be done e in one of the more sketchy side streets. Also, this memorial should have been at the shooting site and not hidden somewhere obscure.

Silverado Ranch Park is a beloved community recreation site that offers various amenities for visitors to enjoy. The park features sports fields, a skate park, dog parks, horseshoe pits, and a walking trail. Visitors appreciate the well-maintained and clean environment of the park. However, some have expressed concerns about children playing in the dog park area, emphasizing the need for separate spaces for kids and dogs.
Pretty nice park. Well maintained with walking/running trails. Lots of picnic areas with BBQs play area is decent size and has a canopy to protect from the sun. Dog park is good size. Clean up after your dog! Only bad part is when someone arrives with a non-socialized dog that’s rude to other dogs. That said, I enjoy this park and most of the folks here.

Over-all great park. This park had 2 full length baseball ⚾️ games going at the same time with more teams gearing up to play with practice room on the side . Picnic area with cover roof and benches . Lots of field room to run , play and have fun. Really large playground sections with slides and swings . Outdoor basketball 🏀 court . There is also a humongous dog park 🐕 for dogs to play and run , there are two different areas . This park was opened all day for families to enjoy

Such a great place for the dogs to roam. This is an awesome park for baseball, family gatherings, and dog lovers of all sorts!
Andrew H — Google review
A LOT of unleashed dogs all the time. I get that people trust their animals, but maybe those pet owners with dogs in leashes don't trust how theirs will react when the unleashed runs to theirs, hence the reason the dog on a leash is on a leash to avoid other unknown interactions with dogs. Rather hard to avoid when an unleashed dog comes running up to a leashed dog. Really not cool. Also there has been a massive increase of homeless sleeping in and around the new community center. Very unfortunate to see families with children sleeping on the stairs. Hopefully the community center will be just that a community center that can provide resources for those in need.
C S — Google review
I really enjoyed my visit, as this spacious well kept park is setup for all types of play. There's winding sidewalks through out the park that led me to a shaded playground area, basketball courts, gazebos, baseball & open fields. There were bathrooms, plenty of benches around, an exercise area plus a dog park. Definitely going back to see how far the trails go. NOTE: Construction is underway for a new community center, expansion and upkeep so be prepared for lots of additional fencing and areas to blocked off.

Time enjoyed and well spent. I've grown to love this park and would recommend this park to any family in the area. There is also a skate park which I will capture some images to post next time but they are building onto it at the moment as well as a community center. From what I hear they will be providing a lot of necessary programs which the community can definitly benifit from. Can't wait to see the final outcome.

Halloween pumpkin patch/ fair. Really nice. I got there right when they were closing but still it was fun. They have rides, food, games, pumpkins, photo booths. Everybody was having a great time. They were disinfecting and wearing masks so its all safe. They'll be open until Oct 31st for Halloween so that will be good family fun!

Barx Parx is a wonderful place for dogs to socialize and have fun. It offers daycare services where dogs can meet new friends and play with regulars in a kennel-free environment. The staff greets visitors with smiles and happy barks, ensuring that every dog receives attention and care. Additionally, the facility provides overnight stays without kennels, allowing dogs to enjoy continuous care and attention. Customers appreciate the presence of cameras for them to check in on their pets while they are away.
After adopting Baxter, I immediately thought about the different daycares I could take him to and all of my friends brought up Barx Parx. Taking him to Barx Parx was the best decision. He LOVES going and playing with the park rangers and all of his friends. Since I started with Barx Parx, I’ve had nothing but positive interactions with every worker. They take the best care of meeting his needs and are extremely communicative with my partner and I about how he’s doing, scheduling daycare, boarding, and grooming. Thank you to everyone at Barx Parx for taking great care of Baxter. When we go on walks now, he walks me straight to my car because he keeps wanting to go back. :) I can’t wait to see how he continues to grow with my partner and I as well as with all of you!

We have been members at Barx Parx for about 2 years, and we have used their doggie daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services for our bernedoodle-sheepadoodle mix. We have been pleased with all of the services, and our dog absolutely loves going here. Doggie Daycare: Our dog went to daycare 5 days per week while we were working, and he absolutely loved it. We have since moved into a house with a yard, so he doesn’t go as frequently and we can tell he misses his human and dog friends. We still take him occasionally, and everyone is as excited to see him as he is to see them. The Parx rangers are all wonderful and loving. They are very well trained to spot when a dog’s behavior changes and may need a “time out” from the main area in the corral. They keep all areas as clean as possible as soon as they notice a dog has peed/pooped. I also love when they do special events like paw print artwork for various holidays, posed pictures (extra charge), and various types of stimulation (bubbles, “Olympics,” etc). Boarding: It is a huge relief when he’s boarded here while traveling because we know he’s well taken care of, and we can check the cameras to see him happily playing or napping. We also love the upgrades to a bedtime story and treat every night, plus an outdoor walk every day. Grooming: We used to groom our bernedoodle at home, but it would takes hours over the course of a week or more. Nicole does a wonderful job, listens to our requests, and listens to our dog when he may not like something (blow dryer). Over the first two or three grooming sessions, Nicole had our dog as comfortable as possible with the entire grooming process. We take our dog about 1x per month to see Nicole. Training: We attended the first round of training at Barx Parx with Stephy when our dog was closer to a year old. It was a very hands-on process where my husband and I each took turns with each skill. He learned to sit, stay, lay down, leave it, and walk next to me on and off a leash on command. We recently welcomed a baby, and we had Stephy come for a home visit to train us on how to make the process of bringing a newborn home an easy and safe transition for all involved. I highly recommend this because our dog absolutely LOVES our baby, and I believe this was so easy because of the training my husband and I received.

I don't review a lot but the crew of Barx Parx take such good care of my girl, I just have to give them kudos. She has human and four legged friends and really looks forward to her time there. I like that all the dogs have been tested for compatibility, as I've taken her to random dog parks where some dogs can be aggressive. There's always enough staff members and the number of dogs in any particular area is limited by the staff's ability to watch them. A+ all the way around. I started as a basic member but she enjoys her time there and it's good for her to have time to be a dog, so I upgraded for the discount on visits. It's worth it. Oh, and the last picture shows that we do spring for the peanut butter treat so it's another thing to look forward to a couple times a week.

I don’t give reviews often, however, BarxParx DESERVES ONE. More like 10, but I only have a few minutes. I have terrible anxiety. When it comes to our fur-son RoRo, that anxiety triples. This is our second frenchie and as most are aware, frenchies are notorious for overheating, getting heat stroke, etc. This was the very first time we have left our puppy (he’s 15 months, but still a baby, duh), and I was TERRIFIED. I wasn’t worried about him, I was worried about how the other dogs would react to his spunky, playful self. With our previous frenchie, we brought her to Camp Bow Wow and did not have a good experience - at all. So we were worried about boarding him in a facility such as this one. We also needed a facility that was staffed overnight. That was a huge dealbreaker for us. Needless to say, I was worried for nothing. BarxParx, exceeded my needs and expectations and I couldn’t be more grateful. I communicated with them via text message while I was away and Aurora (one of the park rangers) was more than helpful and responded to my requests and needs without hesitation. I also communicated with Stef, one of the managers as well. They gave him breaks every hour like I asked for to decrease his risk of overheating, he was able to sleep by himself with a blanket from home, they even added an extra meal right before bedtime like we do at home without issue, and I even got some great pictures. We can’t wait to use BarxParx again when we travel and even on my long work days for daycare! Thank you again to BarxParx for keeping our baby safe!

Simply the best! My dog has stayed at Barx Parx on and off since I first got my puppy in 2021. I have tried other boarding places around LV but nothing compares to the care and quality at Barx Parx. What is amazing is that a lot of the same dog caretakers are still there from 3+ years ago! The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly, and most importantly dog lovers. They have the highest standards of cleanliness and dog health and safety that I have seen across boarding places in LV. Seriously, don't hesitate to trust BP with your pup! They go above and beyond to make sure every dog is having a safe and happy time.
Savannah S — Google review
Unfortunately this dog park didn't end up working out for us and we really tried to love it. First I do have to say the place smell like dog urine extremely bad some days were just unbearable to be inside too long. I feel like if they had a unit with a garage and patio it would make a lot more sense for a indoor dog park. Second issue we had was lack of small dogs in the park. They did have two sections but the small was usually closed in the evening and it was hard to find playful dogs that were close to our 9lb Chihuahuas size. My last issue was with the boarding process, they do make you drop them off for a few hours as a trial and our dog didn't pass due to anxiety. Our dog just takes longer than a couple hours to warm up to humans and has no problems being friends with any dog of any size. We went with a local person for boarding and have had zero complaints or issues
Cassidy H — Google review
I brought my dog into Barx Parx in attempt to have him boarded eventually in the future. I also liked the idea of an indoor dog park for the hot summer days. It reeks of urine in there as soon as you walk in. I tried to understand because there’s a lot of dogs there but it was really bad. Anyway, we paid for the membership for the better rates and scheduled him for behavioral evaluation to see if he can qualify for boarding. Well, when I returned to pick my dog up he didn’t qualify. Mind you, my dog is a goofy, loving 17 pound chihuahua mix. He never fights other dogs or has been aggressive towards dogs/people. My dog sometimes finds a dog he vibes with well and will play with them. If not he sniffs around and does his own thing minding his business. He failed because of wanting to be to himself and didn’t really interact with other dogs? I’m not sure I didn’t get a real good explanation nor did I get a solution. I asked where do we go from here, the employee told me I can put him in day care again until he can qualify (which would cost me every time). I was really disappointed so I left and canceled the membership. So I basically paid for a month membership for something I didn’t even use.

Nice skatepark about 15 minutes from the strip. They had a cold drinking fountain and a lot of different rails, stairs, and ramps. There was only 2 people here but on the other side of the park there are many homeless individuals, therefore, if taking children/teens please be aware.

It felt just like grandma's house. I stayed for 2 months, but I never wanted to leave. They took care of my every need and more. I miss everything about it. For me, people were too quiet and they went to sleep way too early. No late night parties in Vegas?? But if safety, tranquility, friendly neighbors, and a great staff is what you're after, its perfect. I never got the fire pits working, but I'm sure it was user error because everything else was very well maintained. It would have been nice to have wifi at the trailer, but there was great cable TV and wifi near the office. The bathrooms were campground bathrooms - creaky wooden stalls, concrete floors and could have used a hose-down, but they never ran out of hot water, there was never any wait and the concrete showers were good size, clean and had superior water pressure. I'm definitely coming back for a visit! GLAMPERS WELCOME!!

I don't know if the owners of this place have hit hard times or if they just don't care. This place is awful. Not a real campground. It is a place where people who are down on their luck are living. Tent area is not more than a little patch of grass. Men's bathroom was disgusting and I have some tolerance. 2 out of four showers have no shower heads and lights were out in two of them. Showers look like they have not been cleaned in years.. Even after the janitor(who lives in a tent on the grounds) cleaned the men's room it was still dirty. Bare minimum on cleaning. Not to mention that no one is ever in the office. When I was waiting to check in the office person finally showed up only to tell me she did not have time as she had to go somewhere else. Never saw anyone from management again and I was there 5 nights. Even at $18 a night I would NEVER stay there again. I did not feel safe there. Again I don't know what the story is in regard to the owners but they need to do better. I would not recommend to anyone....ever.
Peter K — Google review
Their positive reviews come from people that are employed there. Office hours are supposed to be 9 to 5, but always late and refuse to answer phones all day long. I have had nothing but problems since I moved in. They will not fix anything. I was promised when I moved in that everything would be fixed, but it is not. Been here 6 months still no central air or heat and no plumbing. When I call owner she claims maintenance showed my husband how to fix toilet, but that is not true. Every month they want us to stick hose down toilet to make it go down. Gets completely full and wants us to live in our waste. The hose trick does not always work. So most the time we have no bathroom. Owner is rude and sells RVs that do not work and for triple what they are worth. Very trashy place, so try to avoid.

Historic Westside Legacy Park located on Las Vegas Westside, is a beautiful park and a monument of remembrance, reflection and a center point beacon for the Historic Westside. I was expecting it to be a little larger, it maybe sits on a quarter acre, but its relaxing and quaint. Overall it was fun to experience and document. The artwork was minimal, but awesome (Im almost sure there will be more artwork added to the park), the most stand out pieces of artwork, were of course the Barack Obama statue and the tall obelisks with the gold gaze balls on top of them (officially called Living Black Pillars), created by artists Brian Hanlon and Chase R. McCurdy. I would say if you had a moment and in the area, its worth a stop by for sure

Additionally, there are dog parks and a water park on the north side of the park. Awesome park. Lived at trop and Jones since I was like 6, grandparents owned a house on flamingo and Jones. Stomping grounds. This park used to be a ravine and this name over is something the county should be proud of. Lots to offer. Walking areas, soccer field, play grounds, dog park, work out areas, extensive parking, two parking areas, there's the trop side which is more for the soccer fields and around the corner by home depot on Decatur that's the dog park and kids friendlier side. Also a walk through area that you can ride a bike or walk into our leave the park, this is out the back side of the kid area past the walking maze, this exits to, can't remember side road but gose to Harmon. PSA- have no issues with homeless but be extremely weary. Lots of homeless use this place to sleep and stay. Patches of trash, people sleeping, and yes the 1 out of 10 that's zonked out walking around with a hatchet at 8pm in the dark that actually makes you want to carry if you know what I mean.

Very large grassy area with a walking track around it. It’s about 3/4 of a mile around, great for walking. A high number of unhoused people reside in this park, although I have never had an issue. They all seem to keep to themselves. Really pretty sunset of view of the mountains
Virginia S — Google review
3 separate fenced in areas along with large park for people. Dog areas are nice and clean very well maintained. There NO water access at the dog park the fountain does not work. Public bathrooms. Benches. Not much shade during the summertime.

As a visitor staying at the tahiti across the street I read this was a sketchy place...I disagree... this park was beautiful to walk, the people were all friendly , yes there were homeless and rift raft but, no one ever bothered us and security was patrolling later in the evenings.

Small dog park I used to use it only for an emergency park due to being nearest to my office. Now I live walking distance so it’s most convenient. It’s a large park has a playground outdoor gym area large grass field tennis courts & a water park for kids the biggest downfall is a lot of homeless all over!
Amber P — Google review
This park is more for doing laps and spirts training. There aren't a lot of tables or covered areas just to have a picnic. It stays open really late with the lights on.
Christine R — Google review
Every morning btwn 6am and 7am someone leaves their 2 very large barking dogs in dog park alone who bark at everyone trying to use dog park or walking by. Literally no one is in there with them nor controlling their bad behavior.See pic. Quiet place to hang. Water park, dog parks, play areas on north side are decent. Bathrooms could use better upkeep. Great views, sunsets. 8/28/22 water park shut off for last week or so. Temps over 100 and no place to cool off. Why?? Trees trimmed too much, very little shade unless you stand on the hot side walk. 9/26/22 now the rest rooms are locked 24/7. WTH! Kids and adults now peeing in bushes! Why punish everyone for a handful of people acting like uncivilized animals. How about security doing some drive through checks every once in a while?! Seen security one time in 3 months.

43Mountain's Edge Regional Park

4.7

Park
Mountain's Edge Regional Park is a charming neighborhood with small mountains perfect for hiking and offering stunning views of the Las Vegas area. The park features the shorter and easier James Brown Trail, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful walk or a low-key date. Additionally, there are sports fields for athletic activities and plenty of space for various recreational activities such as bike riding, dog walking, football, and soccer.
This park is awesome and huge. It has a paved path that meanders through a desert landscape for probably 2 miles. It has baseball pitches, a soccer pitch. Walls for practicing soccer and basketball nets. It has a big children's play area, decent parking space and washrooms.
David B — Google review
Cute park for younger kids. They have a little village like area where kids can ride their scooters or cars. And the playground is pretty cool. They also have a ton of picnic tables available. I can say they could use more swings for the kids however I know they just got accepted for a grant to improve the park so I'm excited what that will look like.
Cecily B — Google review
This place is really great to have fun. I just have few concerns about the unleashed dogs... specially on the trail.. That breed on the photo is definitely smart and may be friendly but for other people who has trauma like me, cant continue my run because they were on the trail and I noticed the dog go to every person that passed by. The lady has the leash on her hand. It is the owners responsibility to call and leash it when somebody somehow showed a hint of being scared.. the park is a public place. And its in the rules upfront the park that dogs must be leashed. People are surely gonna expect dogs MUST be on leash... there are dog parks where you can unleash your dog, like desert inn park. Maybe they can go there?? :P and I think even the workers should tell the owners of the dogs once they see the dogs are unleashed. But nonetheless, park is great and always clean :) The photo is just one example.. but I have seen many.

Mountain Edge Regional Park is one of my favorite outdoor spots in Las Vegas! The park is beautifully maintained, with plenty of open space, shaded picnic areas, and wide paved walking trails that make it perfect for families, joggers, and anyone looking to unwind outdoors. The views of the surrounding mountains are stunning, especially at sunset — it really feels like a little escape from the city. Our pups love their walk here, so much to sniff 😁 The only downside nothing to do with the park it’s some people who are just so inconsiderate that they don’t pick up after their pets. There are potty pot holders and trash can in almost every corner of the park but they still wouldn’t pick up the mess and some people think they are above the law, letting their dogs off leashes. Overall this is a wonderful park!
Baby C — Google review
It's blatantly obvious that this park is not taking good enough care of. Just further proof that government programs are trash and private programs are much better. You can go down the street to The private exploration peak Park and everything is in working order. Over here however they've had broken features for years! They should be embarrassed because these clothes for maintenance signs have been up for years! Whoever runs this park does a terrible job and does nothing but make excuses. I think I'm going to send off another letter to the mayor in the governor.

A great park for the family. 4 baseball fields. Soccer, they even have an outdoor exercise area with some equipment. Great place to let your dogs run.
Wolfe J — Google review
Beautiful playground and great for all ages. It offers 2 different playgrounds for smaller kids and bigger kids. Multiple stations to choose from. It also offers exercise machines for the ones interested in working out and can't go to the gym. We come here for AYSO soccer, and it's a great park to come to.

44Desert Bloom Park

Park
Desert Bloom Park is a spacious recreational oasis that features grassy areas, picnic pavilions, and children's play equipment. The park is dog-friendly and offers amenities such as walking paths, basketball and baseball facilities, as well as tables and BBQs for gatherings. Visitors can enjoy a clean and well-maintained environment suitable for families with children. However, some visitors have noted the need for improvements such as a dedicated dog park area and updated playground equipment.
This is a very nice park with shaded picnic tables, children's play area with slide, volleyball courts, basketball court, baseball diamond, and bathrooms. There is also a walking trail with shade.
Adam D — Google review
Very open space with lots of grass for your fur babies! The playground is really nice and toddler friendly. This park does not have a splash pad but it has great basketball courts and tennis fields
Montse S — Google review
Love our little neighborhood park! It is well maintained and busy, I love seeing the community enjoy it. We love it for strolls with our baby and dog. Would be awesome if parks&rec bought the plot of land next to it and an expanded with a dog park and pickleball courts.
Carol L — Google review
We stopped here to kill a little time. There were many people here enjoying the facilities. The womens bathroom was in okay shape, but the men's were not. Apparently, the urinal wasn't working properly and was full. I observed a few people sleeping in their car and one family with a fishing pole.
Deb S — Google review
Big park on a main road. Perfect for gatherings and seems to be a little league park as there are banners for it on the two diamonds. Also had a beach volleyball area with two courts and has three full basket courts as well. Children's play area with one designed for toddlers 2-5 and another for children 6-12.
Daniel H — Google review
The park is large and dog friendly. We went for a walk around 8 o’clock in the morning and noticed a lot of people walking their dogs as well. The baseball fields are closed off so no one can enter without maintenance opening it. They have doggy poo bags all around the park so if you forget yours don’t worry. The water fountains were not turned on or working so my pup had no water during the duration of our time there. One thing I wish the park had is a dog park. I believe more people would come to the park if there was a dog park and there is enough space to create one too. Overall this is a great park to come and walk your dog and bring your family.
Angie E — Google review
Nice park to unwind! Just be aware of dog poops in the grass and the play area should be replace coz it’s old and looks unsafe

I enjoyed this part with my son. He enjoyed playing on both the play grounds and all the slides. It is well keep and there is a good verity of things to climb on. It does have seating by it that us shaded however the playground is not covered. There were lots of people put walking the park so that was refreshing.

45Nevada Trails Park

Park
Nevada Trails Park, located near Pueblo Vista Drive, is a spacious 60-acre linear park nestled alongside a scenic wash. The park features an 8-foot-wide multi-use path, a jogging path, an exercise station area, and a basketball court. Visitors can enjoy the proximity to amenities like Sprouts grocery store and Cafe Lola. The park offers various recreational facilities including playgrounds for kids, tennis courts, workout areas, and expansive grass fields.
Nice little park that's relaxing to walk around on the paved trail. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Playground stuff, basketball hoops, tennis courts, grass, trees, birds, rock landscaped water flow path through the center.
Battlesound — Google review
A clean and relatively safe park. It’s near the Sprout’s grocery store and Café Lola if you get hungry. There’s a playground for kids, basketball court, tennis court, workout area, and large grass field. You can walk the trails behind the park, which connects to different parks - the closest being Majestic Bluff Park. I wish the swings were a little wider so it’d be more comfortable for teenagers and adults. This park is especially beautiful in autumn as the leaves change colors. The only downside is its near a busy road and loud carwash, and an ice cream truck seems to come everyday, which can be annoying for residents.
Jasmine Y — Google review
I came here by myself to enjoy some trees and watch the sunset, and it was such a peaceful experience. I did the multiple loops and loved how they have mile markers on the concrete! There’s also a really pretty coffee shop on the corner, which made the trip even better. Perfect spot for a relaxing walk and a little nature escape!
Sara C — Google review
Great place to bring your kids for some playground fun, basketball court and large grass field for play and your doggies. There's 2 playgrounds for different age groups and a good amount of swings. Bathroom is not the best, but still a good and safe park.
Chevelle M — Google review
Nevada Trails is a good park. I take my dogs walking there frequently. Two times around the park is a mile. The tennis courts are usually very busy. They have a playground, basketball court and an area for working out. I do wish they had more trees.
Ralph T — Google review
Awesome park location with covered seating, outdoor grills, and a basketball court. There is a playground for the kids and plenty of green grass. There is a parking lot which appeared to get a little busy toward evening but there is plenty of street parking. The outdoor tables could benefit from power washing, my lil Lysol wipes did nothing.
Jazzi P — Google review
Been jogging here every couple days for the last 6 months and it’s a great little park. 1/2 mile loop around the outside. Always lots of families, people walking dogs, and playing sports. Very safe and convenient location.
Orion E — Google review
Not too bad of a spot. Got a sand pit with pull up bar for the crew and a BBQ, get swoll yo. Bike trail in the back that goes out for a bit nice night riding spot and keeps you away from the same old road. Could be cleaner sometimes and the school and market has this place busy at the wrong times, which are when I drive there, good luck parking just ride your bike or walk. =D

Park
Shadow Rock Park is a popular spot for both locals and visitors. It offers various amenities such as baseball fields, a dog park, and multiple play areas. The park provides an excellent view of Nellis Air Force Base and the surrounding valley, making it a great place to relax and watch jets fly by. Recent expansions have brought new shade structures, picnic areas, landscaping, and overall improvements to the park. The dog park is well-maintained with clean grass but lacks nearby restroom facilities.
A great view of the valley from the parks top of the valley perch. Recently expanded, enlarged, new shade structures, picnic areas, landscaping and and overall reinvigoration, attention to details, shade structures, shaded play areas, lush vegitation. This park is really becoming a gem for the area. Wonderful d New bright lighting, paved parking areas, are appreciated. These enhancements make all the park facilities Fresh! A wonderful green and shaded Dogpark, complete with benches and dog fountains, with three size areas so your fur babys never feel intimidated! Cleaner, Safer all around. A wonderful facelift making the entire park rejuvenated and inviting! 4 regulation softball fields with lights dugouts. Shadow Rock is a beautiful open space nestled at the base of Sunrise Mtn. This park used to be so well taken care of. The lawn is shabby and the picnic tables could use some TLC. The new baseball diamonds are great, new lights etc. The older parts need some ❤️.

I really like this park. Lots of people walking the baseball fields for exercise. A lot of people walking there dogs around since there is a dog park there. Not too crazy about the dogs being loose in the baseball field, thats what the dog park is for. The play equipment is good. There is three different play areas. Lots of tables on the northend for lunch, bbq, etc. Great view of Nellis Air Force Base!!!! Also, great area to watch the jets fly.

Gilcrease Brothers Park is a lovely recreational spot located in a quiet northwest neighborhood. The park features two playgrounds, swings, and a horseshoe court, making it an ideal place for families to enjoy outdoor activities. Visitors can also take advantage of the spacious grassy field for their furry friends to run around. The park is well-maintained with friendly locals and offers ample space for children to play and make new friends.
A nice park overall. Now that it’s very hot outside, we can enjoy the splash pad that’s found here. My 4 year old daughter pretty much loves this place. The tarps conveniently cover the playground. Multiple slides, rock climbing, and much more. They also have a large patch of grass where we found lots of pups plaything fetch. I have not been here at night time to see how well it’s lit up. The parking lot has about 16 spaces

Nice large and clean park. Large field to run around, ride bike down the hill or play a ball game. Sidewalk that goes around the whole Park; great for kids learning to ride bike or to push the stroller. Fake grass area behind the play ground for parents to put a picnic blanket on and lounge and watch their kids play. Great playground equipment and flush clean restrooms.

Park
Huckleberry Park is a large and well-maintained park with various amenities for families. The park features a big play structure, splash pad, tennis courts, dog park, and swings. Visitors appreciate the fun opportunities it offers for kids aged 6 and above. Some suggest that more sun cover and benches would enhance the experience for parents. Despite some cleanliness issues in the restrooms, the overall atmosphere of the park is described as lovely and tranquil.
Amazing park. Swings, playgrounds for older and younger kids, a splash pad, dog park, clean bathrooms, fields and courts for sports activities, and shaded picnic areas. My family came out for a memorial day picnic. There was plenty of parking for all of us to drive and meet up. The dog park was large but no trees for shade. My husky couldn't stay in there too long. The shaded picnic area was a little far from the park and swings but the kids didn't mind the walk. Just the adults who wanted to watch the kids play. The field between the park and picnic table has green grass and it was windy enough for the kids to fly kites. The trash cans were very full when e got there around noon. It must have been from the day before because they were not cleaned out for Monday. Over all the kids and I had a great time and the playground is so unique.
Analisa H — Google review
One of our favorite parks! So much to do and everything within a distance to keep an eye on the kiddos. The splash pad is right next to the playground so easy play all around.

Chevelle M — Google review
The splash pad was fun for the kids & it's located right beside the playground so makes it even better to get wet and move over to the playground to dry out 👌
Arlene A — Google review
Awesome park! Very large, with a big play structure and a decent splash pad. Also several big grassy areas, tennis courts, dog park, and a section set apart from the main play structure with swings. I wish it had a bit more sun cover and more benches for parents. The play structure is really big and open to the rest of the park, which wasn’t great for my 2 year old who tends to run off. I’d highly recommend the park for older kids!
Emily B — Google review
First time ever coming with my daughter , drove 35 mins to get here and the playground is closed with a fence around it blocking you from all the fun ! Very let down !

My experience earns this park 5 stars...I was there for about an hour today and this was my first time visiting. Open fields, bbq pits/pavilions, unique play structures, tennis courts, dog parks, splash pad and horse shoe pit. Park was clean and not busy.

This park has gotten so much better!!! The park is much bigger than it used to be and it's a perfect place for kids 6+. With so many fun opportunities, I think this is a really good park. Nice small park watched my grandson play football here Parking is a bear. If you pull into the small parking lot in front with a large vehicle be prepared to back up or make a u turn out, cause there is only one entrance. Parking is across the street at a warehouse come early. They have a nice restroom in front.

Decent fields. most public bathrooms are nasty, this one is absolutely disgusting. Toilets were leaking and there was $#!7 on the floor. You could smell it 50 feet away. Parking is horrible. They need to have a back gate, so people can walk in and out.
Ryan A — Google review
Dual use football / soccer fields. Fields are nice, newish turf, good condition. Small super tight parking lot - unable to turn around in if you pull in and there are no spots. Plan on parking across the street in the industrial park or at the far end of the fields in the other small lot (at least there’s a loop in that one so you can get out).
Virginia S — Google review
The field is great. Bathrooms are so bad that you need to get tested for diseases after walking in it and transients everywhere. It's scary to have your kids get outside the gates without someone there with them.

This park is football fields with a small recreation are and bathrooms. Nothing fancy, but there is a small play area. I have to add that 6 police cruisers were there when we left with lights on, arresting someone. It is close to a rough neighborhood. So there is that.
