Food: As for starters we took cabbage and garlic soup that came with Croutons and bread , The meal for 2 with tasting of several dishes felt okay expected to taste more savoury flavour but was very distinguish flavour with minimum salt and pepper, Service: Not accepting card payments so you need to be very calculated with whatever you order otherwise you end up with running to hunt for ATM in a freezing cold night it's 2024 and still no card payments in a nonstop going dining experience. Atmosphere: We had to agreed to set with another couple due to waiting periods they don't take reservations In conclusion: if they sort out payments method and seasoning and add reservations will increase the quality of dining experience .

The food was so good and didnt cost that much , the vibe was great with the music and the location at the center of this nice town and the waiters were very nice and funny and even gave us a blanket because they saw it was cold for us. I suggest to come and eat here. my family and I had a very good time ;)

One of the best meals I've tried: pancake filled with delicious meat and sauce. Goes really well with the grated cheese on top. This meal gets highest grade without any hesitation, simply top notch! 👌 Wish I could go back and eat it again.

Got here with friends for the dinner. Found this restaurant in google with very good reviews. We tried garlic soup, hunter goulash and deer leg. Everything was tasty. I find deer leg tastes more like if you eat a liver, just unusual for me, although the dish is very posh and the sauce was amazing, that’s why food rate is 4, goulash was just amazing! The other thing is they don’t accept cards. It was very unusual to meet at such popular touristic restaurant. We were about to leave but some guy suggested the option with transfer to the Revolut bank and this made us stay in the end. Thanks to some guy who saw us leaving and suggested the solution. But just don’t understand the logic with no cards.

Really nice and very climatic place. We ordered four different burgers. Each was perfect. Tasty meat, good ingredients and nice, soft bun. Waiting time around 10 minutes. All burgers were served at the same time. Staff is very helpful and polite. I highly recommend this place after skiing at Jasna Chopok.

I was surprised by the unusual choice of burgers variantions. Good quality of ingredients with tasty sous, well prepared beef, and fried egg with liquid yolk was the perfect ending of our hiking trip. Strongly recommend to try Restart Burger.

Disappointing Experience: Having been impressed with my previous visit to Restart burger, I decided to give it another try recently. However, this time around, I was left thoroughly disappointed and won't be returning for quite some time. Firstly, the ribs, which were a highlight during my previous visit, were not cooked to perfection this time. They lacked the tenderness and flavor that I had come to expect. Additionally, the hot sauce, which should have provided a fiery kick, fell short in terms of heat and flavor. The portion of fries served in a half-empty pot gave off a cheap impression, and it was clear that corners were being cut. Furthermore, my partner's ribs were even worse, with an excessive amount of fat, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the meal. To add to the disappointment, there were no wet wipes provided, which made the dining experience feel incomplete and lacking in attention to detail. Overall, this experience was a far cry from the excellent standard I had previously experienced at Restart burger. Regrettably, I won't be returning anytime soon.

This is 5 stars restaurant, really one of the best in the region. Very good hamburgers and excellent coffee and cheesecake. Always nice service. Sometimes it is hard to find available parking in the area. In the evenings and weekends it is better to order the place in advance.

Atmosphere: nice and cozy Service: kind, friendly Food: Barbecue ribs: ribs itself were good could have been softer and with more sauce (however still better then in other places in town),coleslaw salad was apparently the best my partner ever had and potatoes were fine. Barbacoa salad: not so good, meat was quite dry, the rest was just green salad. I dont recommend. When came second time even waitress said she doesn’t recommend it. 🤷‍♀️ Prices: very good and affordable. In general, we had a good feeling from the restaurant but will try something else next time. Second time: Honey ribs - better than the barbecue ribs. Crunchy salad - they didn’t have the crispy chicken so I asked for slightly roasted chicken breast. The salad was much better than Barbacoa salad, but I would add a small piece of bread or baguette. Overall experience still remains average but very good for the price and environment. (Maybe should try burger next time! 🤦‍♀️)

Perfecto, design is unique and has a lot of old stuff in it, radios, phones, TVs, books, typewriter, and more... Food is amazing. The burger really love up to the expectation, better have a reservation ahead, to prevent waiting for a free table . I highly recommend this place.

I really liked it. We were with children, we left the park last. I liked the environment, it's clean. I liked the animals, that you can get close to them, and some of the less dangerous ones you can pet. And the staff! Separate and fully deserved praise, everyone of them will tell you about the animals, answer questions. Patient, kind and smiling. Recommendation 100 percent.

Great place to spend a day with kids, but interesting place even for the adults and animal lovers. Surroundings of the park is beautiful, colourful flowers are verywhere. You can get inside of some animal enclosure like rabbits, big turtles, snakes even the bears and learn a lot about animals from the staff. You can buy a food and feed some animals too. Apart of animals, there is a lot of others attractions inside as mirror maze, small train around ZOO, paddle boats for kids, carousel, electric cars, trampolines etc. Also there are places for refreshments, or for lunch, so you can spent here all day very easily.

Nice place—but not much more than that. The large animals—bears, tigers, and lions—look truly distressed in their small, enclosed cages. It felt downright cruel, and all for the sake of entertainment. On the positive side, the petting areas were genuinely pleasant. Petting rabbits was very nice, and so was the area where you could pet wild boars. Those experiences added a softer, friendlier touch to the visit. The little train ride may suit very young children. It departs every 30 minutes for a quick 8-minute loop. The problem is that the schedule is only posted inside the carriage—so there’s no way to know beforehand. We once sat on the train for 22 minutes, clueless as to why it wasn’t moving. And the birds near the train? Their screeching was absolutely deafening. We just wanted to escape that noise. Also, best avoided on hot days—this place doesn’t work well in the heat. Keep that in mind.

You can be very close to the animals and have fun at the same time! The also have a train which goes through the Zoo. Restaurants and you get to see the waterpark slides at the same time! :-) The staff also speak different languages when the talk about animals.

Excellent programe for 1-2 hours. You can get close with all the animals. Squirrels were running on our bodies, birds were landing on our arms and even heads. The staff is really nice, there is dedicated person for each animal, who tells you basic information and you can ask anything. I took my girlfriend here on her birthday she enjoyed it very much, recommend it for a date, if you like animals.

Great place, must see place on Slovakia map for all people who like animals. Staff is helpful and know a lot about those animals, they speak english if its needed. Decorations of whole city can bring You realu nice climate. Closeness of nature that You can feel.

Great food, fabulous local beer, nice climate and good service. Menu is various, You can choose some local flavours like "Sulance with bryndza” or ”smazeny sur", and other dishes like burgers, ribs od pulled pork. Personaly I can recommend beer soup with jalapeño. I sugest to ask waitress for a seasonal beers, they are not mentioned on card but they are really good, but to be honest all of those beers are great and every one of them is different, with other kind of taste or carbonation. I think that place is must visit place on Liptov map.

Friendly staff, good food and definitely worth going!

Well runned and quite fashioned brewery established recently in 2015. They have own independent original design which I like. Especially sort of old-style bottles with colorful cups. They offer good meal, smart daily menus and special events like duck weeks. There are Lagers on tap as well as fine Ales. I personally prefer their "hybrid" called BeerUp - 11° Pilsner Ale. Very good!

Low quality overpriced food. The terrace looks terrible. They forgot to bring one of us food but didn't forget to include it in the bill. They did refund it after we complained. Definitely avoid this place. You can get better food for less money in other restaurants in Jasna.

Absolutely terrible. I was excited all day to come to the good old happy end with great food and especially great pizza. Instead my favourite restaurant in Jasna became a profit maximising fast food. The food was barely average. My Schnitzel with fries cost 17€ which is absolutely ridiculous for what I got. My friend ordered a Guláš with a cup of hot chocolate and paid 21€ for it. The Guláš was barely warm. Absolutely terrible decision by the management to change their restaurant model. I highly recommend not going here, you will waste money for mediocre food and standing in line for 15 minutes. I will never come back here again.

Overpriced place with basically fast food offer. I do not recommend this place at all. Aldo offer in other restaurants is even more expensive! Pizza 🍕 slice is 6€. Small wiener snitzel with a little french fries (kids menu) for 15€

We were tired and hungry and past caring where we went -- there aren't a lot of options in this place. We didn't have high expectations, but were pleasantly surprised. It said self-serve, but we got waited on by lovely people. The food was good, very tasty, presented nicely, way nicer than a place like that should do. The kids meals were good (the older kid could have had a slightly bigger one) with very cool, quite surprisingly good toys. Not just cheap throwaway plastic. Maybe a little overpriced but look where you are -- it's a resort town. What were you expecting? Something cheap? It was worth it, they had Kofola on tap, we were happy.

Well... the pizza I ordered Angela, was terrible, I would preferred to have a cheap frozen one instead of this. It was soggy, tasteless, dough was chirping of which is weird. Not recommending this place if you are looking for a pizza. The good thing is that they made it in 5 minutes, so if you are in a rush and have no time to wait it will come fast.

Tasty food for reasonable prices, enough large portions, with husband we paid around 20 Eur for lunch, went there after skiing day. Not the best place for vegans thou, as interior is in hunt style- with horns and hunter pictures on walls.

Good place. The staff speaks sufficient English to have a conversation. They have menus available in English. Very convenient if you're visiting and don't speak Slovak. The place was never full, the prices are good. The dessert was also good.

Nice location but the waitress has a very bad attitude, also the beer is a bed one. After a long day spending on ski I was expecting a nice place with nice people. 😞Very disappointed!!!!

Visiting Slovakia and we were recommended to visit this place. The service is excellent, it is basically a whole experience but it is beautiful. The cleanliness is superb, the variety of items is selected and properly made.

I loved this place! Was really full, but we visited during holiday season so maybe that was the reason. It is a small cozy place and the tables are really good for a group to visit and also for a person that wants to come alone. We had a delicious matcha latte and Chai latte. They also have plant based milk options

One of the best places we've been with the kids. Even the adults love this place and magically transform into childrens. The family ticket is affordable and at the end you get to print from the phone your silly photos

Lovely place in Liptovsky Mikulas. Must book in advance on their website - esp if it rains the slots go fast! There’s stairs to get in, you can leave buggy, your shoes & bags upstairs in the lockers. Do wear your socks. 2adults & 1 child over 5 paid €21 in 2019. Toilets available. It’s fantastic fun. They recommend 1 hour but it was busy so we stayed 2. Read the pictures near the illusions to understand the illusion. It’s great fun - for children & adults. Would definitely go back. My almost 3 year old loved it too. Recommended

A nice place to visit for those traveling with children, but not only. Many adults will also love the place. Not a big museum, but very nice. Time required for a maximum visit of one hour. Relatively not cheap. You can make cool photos in different compositions. Parking on site.

Similar to Tricklandia in Stary Smokovec. Nice place to visit with kids especially when it is raining. I highly recommend to make a reservation beforehand as there is visitors daily limit.

It's a little further away (cca 15min walk) from centre, but quite worth it. The admission is every 30 min for ~20 ppl, we visited on Friday afternoon and got in without prior reservation, but I'd recommend checkin their site in advance to see if a booking weren't a better idea. We've been to many similar illusion joints and this one certainly ranks among the better ones (with two or three attractions we haven't seen elsewhere). Most rooms contain multiple illusions and the vantage (photo) spots are crossing the line of sight so some agreement with other visitors might be needed, but we have had no bad experience.

I visited the restaurant in July 2022, also a delayed review. Small restaurant with 3 tables outside, 3 tables inside + seats at the sushi bar. Service was good The sushi was good, just good, not very good. Very small rolls. While making the order, we thought that in 3 we would eat well. Unfortunately, for the price, in many other sushi restaurants you will eat twice as much. Perhaps it is the only sushi in town?

We had good experience at Alto sushi. inside are few tables, so it is quiet place. They dont have menu in English, but waitress was helpful. I liked most of all Ramen. It was so big bowl and rich with ingridients. Ir I ever return to L. Mikulas, I'll return to Alto sushi.

Very good miso soup and sushi. The service is a bit slow and the menu is in Slovak only. The main reason I rate this place 3/5 is because it's very expensive, namely, every sauce and extras (mayo, ginger, etc..) and even plain water cost around 1.5 euros

Nice sushi in Liptovský Mikuláš. Place is pretty small, so be warned, might be full by the time you are in the mood for sushi. They still do takeaway so you can easily enjoy it in the nearby park. Also good tea options!

Very nice place with good service. We had miso, which was delicious. Pad Thai with strong nut flavour. And the best togarashi dish I have ever eaten. The sushi was also really good. We even got a discount! Great experience 5 out of 5 🌟

We arrived just before closing, so unfortunately our time was limited there, which is too bad, as this coffee shop is fantastic. The baristas spoke English, they were very kind. Coffee was excellent and they also had a great selection of cakes and desserts, which were fresh and high quality. This is a top notch place, nit to be missed.

A little caffe place in one of the most unexpected parts (!) of the city of Liptovský Mikuláš. Do not get fooled by the surroundings, go in and taste the goodies! 🤗👌🏼😎 Creativity level is sky high and taste perfect! Desserts as well as friendly staff will undoubtefully make you come back soon again! But hurry! 😉 The place might move... if they keep the level, they should definetly move to the centrum. Either the main square of Lipt.Mikuláš or to Žilina or why not to Bratislava or Vienna! The level is there and future is yours! 👍😎

Place is in an industrial zone not a city center, which is surely a disadvantage. However, they have 4 parking spots right in front of the building and very spacious layout inside. As you enter on your left side you have the complete cake selection in the fridge with detailed description of ingredients. The cake shop has participated in Great Taste Awards in UK, which reflects on the quality of served product. We order a pistachio flavored ball, hazelnut flavoured (recommended), hot chocolate with cream and lemonades. Cakes are a bit pricey €5.20/piece and lemonade €4.10/piece, however the lemonade is absolutely excellent - nothing like you drunk before. Cakes consist of layers of different ingrediences. I was not a fan of the foam inside but I liked the central filling and the top layer of cracking chocolate. Hot chocolate was not fully melted when served, it was very liquidy with chocolate bits at the bottom. This is mother and baby friendly place, as they have changing table in hallway near toilet and huge play room with many Montessori style toys. The design is very pleasant - gray and yellow with comfortable seating. Finally, the stuff is very nice and is able to advice you on products.

I sadly have to rate this place with only 4 stars. Even though the sweets are exceptional and the service is nice, the main problem is that it pretends to be an espresso bar. However, they only have a cheap Italian 80-20 blend that is definitely not worth of selling at a place like that. I would imagine that they have two grinders with two coffee roasts as it is common in true espresso bars. Additionally, the barista didn't do a good job in preparing the flat white. I'm truly sad to write such a review to a place with such a high potential.

This place should be renamed from caffe to sweet house :) exceptional cakes. Love them, amazing how they look and how taste :) we tried hot chocolate as well. Perfect. Coffe, was ok but had better in Liptovsky Mikulas as well. Overall, this is a hidden gem. Defo must visit, must try and enjoy it.

Nice place to relax after work with good wine or beer. Everything is in old style so you will feel like in last century.

It's not the first house on the roof I visit ,it's not a big one , not cet special. But outside the house there is a real helicopter and a real plane ,where kids can sit in the pilot place and hit all the buttons and stuff, the definitely worth it.

A very nice and special place to visit with the children. There is parking on site. Cost is not so cheap. Suitable for the whole family. A maximum of one hour is required for the visit. It is very nice to sit inside a plane and inside a helicopter. Inside the house you get dizzy in a short time :)

Entrance was around 6€ however be prepared to get dizzy bcz the whole house is upside down. I also recommend visiting zoo kontact is about 200m u can be enclosed with animals also tigers. Very unique place

Just unique. It is interesting but many people feel dizzy inside. The kids didn’t spend much time inside. The aircraft outside got a lot more attention. The bathrooms are not free… For how much you pay, the owners MUST rethink this ridiculous, greedy concept.

Ok but €6 is a bit much to take a few pictures when you can take them from the road. The staff was rude but its good for young children to see the house, plane and helicopter.

Visited on a Saturday, and it was a full house. We had the beef ribs. They were perfectly cooked, good quality meat and would melt in your mouth. The flavour was great. The pork medallions were cooked so well that I preferred to eat them without any sauce. Soft and full of flavour. Although the mushroom sauce was really delicious with chunky mushroom pieces. As a side, we had the roasted veges that were also beautifully cooked, slightly charred but not burnt, and with just enough salt to bring out the sweetness of the veges. Food took a while to come out, but well worth the wait.

Having read some of the previous reviews of this establishment my expectations were not high, but on this occasion I was pleasantly surprised. The food and service were very good; no complaints. Overall definitely a notch above the average shopping centre dining experience.

The pizza was really good, but it had too much cheese. Extra points for gluten-free pizza, two of my family members are gluten-free and they really liked the pizza.

Simple and clean interior with an excellent lunchtime menu which offers superb value for money. Portions are plentiful and the virtually unlimited soup refills are a welcome addition, especially during the colder months. I wouldn’t be wrong if I said that this is the best beer bar in Liptovsky. There were 20 types of beer to choose from and it was delicious. Food was also great and the prices were not high. A liter of beer costed around 5€. The service was great and polite and also helpful with choosing some good stuff there. We love coming to Vah. As a siblings catching up on life we had quiet area that we loved. There are board games to play as well! And so many beers to chose from you can come everyday for different one! Love it. We will return soon

Small shopping centre with just a few clothes shops, a bank and an Asian restaurant. Several units on the upper floor remain vacant. The VUB bank branch had the advantage of longer opening hours than the regular branch and the New York café serves good coffee with a separate and contained smoking section. Great tunnel, esp. If you do multiple sessions or even multiple days as the atmosphere around the tunnel is great. Esp the juice bar. The receptionist, a young woman, was friendly and sweet. There was only one room for me, on the second floor and she told me it could get hot. And hot it was! I didn't sleep at all. At breakfast it turned out the hotel was almost completely empty (I was there asap because I hadn't slept, only two tables were set.). I wonder why I couldn't get a room on the first floor. Breakfast was served in a beautiful but empty desolate hall. A male staff member was watching a tv series or movie on his smart phone with the volume turned up. This was quite annoying and antisocial. Breakfast was good, however. The waitress was friendly. It's my impression that the hotel cares very little about the guests and does minimum effort. Also, I asked for tourist info (the center across the hotel was closed) and they told me all the info was in my room. According to the hotel the only thing to do there is a boat ride. Tiny soap, no tiny shampoo.

After arrival at hotel at 23:00 i was told that they are sorry but room is for 92eur as they knew there is nothing else you can book in the city. Room and staff itself was really nice, breakfast was fine still they were unable to provide you fresh coffee or 100% orange or other proper juice - only the ones with artifical sweeteners which i consider somehow incorrect as for 92eur room for 2 persons...Overally once you book hotel through booking you might be fine, keep in mind that breakfast might not be that nice...

Well, the hotel is clean and kinda good. But everything count in small things, at morning breakfast the juice has 80% of water. The evening dinner dont have tee, coffe or any kinda water. The hotel is grate, the admonistration is grate. But Gordon Ramsey needs to help in the planing of the chefs menu.

This was a very good experience. And not at all as easy as it seems from one of the reviews we have read. It really made you you think hard. And cooperate. We loved the experience. But when we would go next time we would choose easier level to begin with. I highly recomend. We went with our 11 year old and he loved it as well. Please do not forget to bring cash.

It's fun here. However it feels like they have ideas for things but execute them poorly. Some items feel borderline unsafe. The animals, like the equipment feel like they are there to entertain and have the basics, but not the best care. I can't help but feel that it's a matter of time before an incident of some sort happens here, especially as it seemed like the children at the camp only had one older lady looking after them... Struggling. Overall, I'm torn, as we had fun, but just feel a general tidy up, removal of old it broken equipment and better upkeep of current equipment could make this place feel more value for money.

This place is very badly organized. The reservation on site took almost 20 minutes (and there was nobody in the queue in front of me). They told us our kayaks will be ready in ten minutes and it took them 50 (!) minutes... We got 30 minutes on kayaks for free because of that, but it wasn't very professional... We wanted single kayaks and they had only one of them (and there weren't any other customers), so we had to borrow doubles. Despite all of this we had a great time on kayaks and I would recommend to do this activity if you are visiting Liptovská Mara. The kayaks or water bicycles are the thing you want to do... Better than jetskis...

They still have long road before it will be great water fun resort. The entrance to the water should be softer and also the grass for sunbating is in the middle of the season gone. Besides it is nice place to have fun for a day, you can go pedal boating, kajaking, kneebording, wake bording, waterskiing, flyboarding and many more. Best time to visit is in June and July if you dont mind little bit of cold weather. Tip: all the gear need booking and needs to be paid at the front gate!

Ako bonus je v areály v cene vstupného herňa na neobmedzený čas. Trampolíny, skákací hrad, stoly s legom, interaktívne pieskovisko ktoré vykresľuje v reálnom čase pohoria a vodu. Ďalej je sú tu dva nafukovacie skákacie hrady...jeden väčší. Jeden menší. 3. Veľké trampolíny 6x 4. Bazén s guličkami pre najmenšie detičky 5. Lego stôl s lego stavebnicami na vlastnú tvorbu 6.
