1Ruifeng Night Market

Night market
Ruifeng Night Market, also known as Rueifong Night Market, is a bustling outdoor market located in Kaohsiung. It is the largest and most crowded night market in the city, offering a wide variety of traditional Taiwanese street food such as Taiwanese takoyaki, fried oyster omelette, and stinky tofu. In addition to food vendors, there are also stalls selling clothes and accessories.
Closed on Monday and Wednesday. Go after 6/7pm is better. It's very hot. If you visit Kaohsiung, this night market is MUST GO on your list!! It has food drinks shopping and entertainment in one spot. Low price range for most of the vendors you visit. I'm sure you can haggle if you like. Pretty much cash only. Some vendors might take LINE PAY. They are all nice and willing to show you the merchandise or how to play games. There's a service center in the middle if you need help.

This is one of the famous night markets in Kaohsiung. To get there you got to get to Kaohsiung Arena Metro Station. It's less than 5 mins walk from the metro station. It was super crowded when I visited. Lot of food stalls. Reasonably priced. The Angel Fried Chicken is a must try for sure, do not add the spicy powder if you want just enjoy the chicken. Just ask the vendor to add some minimum salt and pepper. Mine was overloaded with Spicy Powder. Nevertheless it's one of the best juicy fried chicken I have had. Other than that I tried the papaya milk, spicy fish balls, the Chinese omelette crepe, and another fried thing with an egg, the Japanese shrimp balls. Etc. Lot of choices. If you are planning to visit in the evening or night I suggest you to skip lunch so that you can try the maximum stuff you can stuff. Overall a great place and a must visit in Kaohsiung.
S S — Google review
About 5 minutes on foot from MRT station was probably the best night market in Kaohsiung. There were so many food options for us to try at reasonable prices. We specifically loved the fried stinky tofu with thousand-year egg. The grilled octopus, taro smoothie were also tasty. A great place to explore nightlife in Kaohsiung and Taiwanese dishes.
Lê K — Google review
I honestly prefer this night market compared to the one near my hotel. It’s more spacious, cleaner, and has a wider variety of stalls — not just food but also clothes, souvenirs, and local crafts. The best part is it doesn’t have that strong food smell like the other one, so walking around feels much more pleasant.
Ayo C — Google review
So many food stalls to choose from! Enjoyed our time in this market. Had to go back to try other food and delicacies. Loved it! The night market you should include in your itinerary esp if you’re a foodie.
Megan S — Google review
It’s OK, not great. I’m glad I came, but I don’t think I’ll be back. I had some chicken and rice, soup dumplings, which were not very soupy and some sweet pastry thing I don’t know the name of. We were here on the Thursday night and not all of the vendors were open. I feel like most of the food was premade, although it was fresh but just kept warm until someone asked for it and then they served it to you.
Tony L — Google review
The largest night market in Kaohsiung, Ruifeng is a must visit, bar none. It is located on a parking lot, in a similar style as those located in Tainan. Though half the size of the night markets of Tainan, Ruifeng is simply, the largest one in Kaohsiung. There is a wide variety of foods, specifically the seafood selection is awesome, with prices much lower than Taipei. We found some of the flavors to be fresh and the shellfish unbeatable. The density is rather high, as this is the only, parking lot oriented, night market in the city. There is also a wide variety of carnival games, darts, ring toss, airsoft, mahjong and arcade, in addition to some kiddy rides. As I travel throughout Taiwan, I have found at least three unique items at Ruifeng, which I have never encountered before.
Zong H — Google review
If night markets are the beating heart of Taiwan, then Ruifeng Night Market in Kaohsiung is its adrenaline rush. A dazzling chaos of sizzling grills, flashing signs, and hungry chatter — this night market is a flavor-packed playground for the soul. The moment I stepped into the crowd, the scent of fried chicken and grilled sugar hit me like a warm, greasy hug — and I knew I was home. First stop: the legendary fried chicken cutlet. Still crackling from the fryer, it came nestled in a grease-kissed paper pouch, golden and absurdly crispy. One bite and I was hooked. The crust had that perfect shatter, and inside, the chicken was juicy, steaming, and full of peppery, umami goodness. It’s the kind of snack that makes your hands greasy and your soul happy. But it wasn’t just about the savory hits. The real surprise came in dessert form — a cup of rolled ice cream, bright and cheerful, topped with whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, and a perfectly toasted marshmallow. It was creamy, playful, and slightly nostalgic — a dessert that didn’t take itself too seriously but still delivered on flavor. Every spoonful was a contrast of textures: cool rolls, fluffy cream, chewy ‘mallow. Street food turned into edible joy. Ruifeng isn’t just about what you eat — it’s how it makes you feel. It’s the laughter of locals squeezing past each other, the anticipation as food sizzles before your eyes, and that late-night energy where anything feels possible.

Certainly! Here's a glowing review for **Kaohsiung Dream Mall**, Taiwan's largest shopping mall: --- **⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Experience at Dream Mall!** Kaohsiung Dream Mall is a must-visit destination for shopping, dining, and entertainments. Whether you're a local or a tourist, Dream Mall offers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!

Good for shopping. You will find high street stores, electronics, coffee shops, restaurants, playground for kids and even cinema there. Underground parking free bathrooms and elevators make it easy to go around. Can easily spend a whole day there. It gets crowded on weekends and rainy days.
DaMiaN B — Google review
Huge mall with a variety of shopping options. It was well maintained with friendly staff's. Though some staff's were not speaking English, you can use a translators or even they willing to help and assist you're needs.

First time visit from California to this mall and we're thoroughly impressed. Out of the newer malls, we still returned twice for it's large selection and ease of walking. We got 7k steps touring through the entire mall. So much to see and do for all ages.
Pauline B — Google review
Beside lots of eateries, H&M, Daiso amd somw ah hoc store's which i bought my shorts cheaply there is nothing else. Its a high end Mall selling branded goods. The supermarket is so small. I will give it a miss lol
Paul S — Google review
This mall is huge with multiple floors and an outdoor section connected to it with even more shops. The top floor has an arcade and game area, and there’s also a movie theater with a classy Art Deco design. The rooftop features a dinosaur-themed amusement park with a giant Ferris wheel, and there’s a connected parking structure. You can easily spend the whole day here, but the signage could be better — it’s easy to get lost and hard to find the right exit.
Mochaguy 2 — Google review
This is my favorite mall in Kaohsiung. Other than luxurious and high end brands/products, they have so much more local and inexpensive stores as well. It has 8 floors, first 4 are for men and women apparel and accessories goods. Fifth floor is for babies and kids. There’s also arcade game and funzone on the same floor. Top three floors have cinema hall and restaurants. Food court is at level B1. Within the mall they have different events and promotions going on. We got the promo for NT $300 back for every NT $3000 spent ($10 USD cashback on every $100 spent). There were local vendor shops in common areas of the mall. The commute is easy to the mall. There’s light rail and MTR train stations directly connected to it. It easily takes 2-3 hours to go through the whole mall floor by floor just to look around and window shop.

Flea & Street Markets
Liouhe Night Market, also known as Liouhe Tourist Night Market, is a renowned open-air market in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Dating back to the 1940s, it boasts over 100 stalls predominantly offering delectable food options. The market is situated on Liuhe 2nd Road near Kaohsiung MRT Formosa Boulevard Station and comes alive after dark with its lively atmosphere.
We are fancy with large night market but rather prefer one with more local touch. We stayed near to this and love it much! We been visiting for 3 nights straight for different street foods, we got to learn that some stalls has been there for over 30 years or even longer history! Strongly recommend the foods we shared in pictures, and do visit a shop that sell the bags or accessories! The husband & wife shop owners are extremely friendly and their products are good quality with reasonable price! Many has been asking where I bought the nice bag 🤣😂 Love this market, grateful for all the lovely conversations we had and met with the locals here ❤️ 谢谢你们
Wanderous L — Google review
We enjoyed dining here. It was a few minutes away from our hotel so we went here twice. Stayed at the tables near the grilled oysters and fried mushrooms but bought food from several stores. This review is mainly an appreciation post for the store that sells bags, we found them a few minutes before midnight so most stores were closed already. If you find yourself out of luggage space from having brought too many souvenirs/food, we found a store that sells big foldable bag for luggage check-in. Will post the photos for reference.

Liuhe Night Market (六合夜市) – Kaohsiung, Taiwan One of the best night markets to explore in Kaohsiung! The atmosphere is lively and full of local charm — colorful signs, friendly vendors, and an endless variety of street food to try. I tested several stalls and everything was freshly made and delicious. The grilled skewers and sausages were flavorful, while the fried snacks were crispy and satisfying. Prices are reasonable, and you can easily walk and eat your way through the market. It’s also very convenient to reach (right next to Formosa Boulevard MRT station), and the street is clean and organized compared to many other night markets. Perfect for both locals and travelers who want to taste authentic Taiwanese street food in a fun and safe environment. Highly recommended for a casual dinner or evening stroll — come hungry! 📍 Tip: Visit after 6 PM when most stalls are open, and bring some cash (many stalls don’t take cards).
MmsS R — Google review
Liuhe Night Market is just a five-minute walk from my hotel, so it was the first place I visited after checking in. I left my bags in the room and immediately headed out to grab something to eat. As soon as I arrived, the lively atmosphere greeted me—bright lights, food stalls lined up on both sides, and the smell of grilled seafood everywhere. The market was crowded with tourists and locals, all exploring the different food options. Most stalls sell seafood dishes, fried chicken, and milk tea, but there are also snacks, desserts, and souvenirs if you take time to look around. It’s a great place to experience local flavors and the energy of Kaohsiung at night. The best part is how close it is to my hotel, making it easy to visit again if I crave a late-night snack.
Ayo C — Google review
Its the only night market we went to while in Kaoshiung due to bad weather. We enjoyed the food here though only few stalls were open when we stroll as its still early but all the food we bought were superb!steamed white corn, sausage, fried squid is the best. A lot of fresh juice to chose from that really complements the food . Enjoyed eating everything while walking.
Kate S — Google review
This is the night market at Kao Xiong. Near one MRT station. Quite hot even at night time. We came here on 25 September 2025, which is still a summer in Taiwan. Many different types of local food. They open from 5pm to 2am. The foods are almost the same for any other night market. They have another night market nearby too. Walking distance.
William T — Google review
The Liuhe Night Market is one of the most famous and tourist-friendly night markets in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Liuhe Night Market is a bustling, straight pedestrian street packed with food stalls, game booths, and seating areas. It's a must-visit destination for anyone traveling to Kaohsiung, offering a concentrated taste of Taiwanese street food culture in a clean and organized environment. Must-try different kind of foods, you won't disappoint.
Simon W — Google review
We went on a Monday night around 7pm. It’s just 1 long street so it’s easy to walk its entire length. You will find your typical Taiwan night market selling fruit drinks, cut up fruit, boneless chicken feet, Taiwanese sausages, pepper meat buns, pork jerky, Japanese street food, dumplings, green onion pancakes, and oyster omelettes to name a few. Besides a few grilled squid stands and fruit juice stands, I like that there wasn’t that many repeated food items offered. I’ve tried a few items but unfortunately nothing stood out for me to come back.

Shinkuchan Shopping District is a modern and vibrant area along the riverside, known for its fashion boutiques and stylish atmosphere. It consists of three intersecting streets filled with a variety of domestic and foreign goods, including clothing, accessories, cosmetics, and electronics at affordable prices. The best time to explore this bustling neighborhood is in the late afternoon when the weather is cooler and the trade scene livelier.
A hip and happening area, this district covers a square city block with the main avenue running north to south, with three intersecting side streets, running to the east. The goods sold are predominantly young women's clothes and reminds me of a smaller, Ximending in Taipei or Yizhong night market in Taichung (specifically the side street, which sells clothes, not the main street which sells food). Since this market exist, there must be a school nearby. There are a few food vendors, set up at the northern end and along the eastern perimeter, Wenheng 2nd Road and definitely worth the visit in the evening, when the shops open up and for people watching, as one sees the latest in fashion.
Zong H — Google review
Many shoe shops, good coffee places, and eateries the area. We went there on Sunday and most shops open pretty late (after noon).
Ack T — Google review
This is relatively a small, less known and less crowded tourist market in Kaohsiung. It’s mostly kept clean by locals. They have some food stalls, stores for apparel, suitcases, electronic and fashion accessories, souvenir and gift shops. Shopkeepers are very nice and friendly. They try to help their best. We spent about half an hour here to buy few small items. Prices were relatively lower compared to other markets I had been to. But the items we bought were severely lower quality. So it’s a nice place to visit to get some local market vibes, but I would not recommend doing much shopping from this place.
Nehal A — Google review
Kind of skippable. Go to liuhe for real food, but if you want clothes and what not, this spot is great. Lots of trend and chic type brands and styles
Nicholas P — Google review
Shinkuchan Shopping District is great for young people ranging from middle school to late 30’s. There are plenty of shops that sell fashionable and trendy clothes for both genders at a reasonable price!(^ω^)

***Visit on a weekend*** There is a good amount of shopping with food stalls on the side. There are many cute shops mostly focused on clothing and accessories.
Yu-Ting — Google review
Not crowded on Friday evening. Lots of shops seeking fashionable clothings and photobooth suitable place for young people to hang out
Xindy H — Google review
It used to be a very popular shopping district for teenagers. Now not so much. It has fashion, jewelry, small accessories. People are over very nice in their because they’re trying to make business. It’s fairly cheap, but you just have to make sure you look around and compare before you make any purchase. I recommend to go after 5pm. It’s very hot to walk around in daytime.

Hanshin Arena is a bustling shopping center in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, offering an array of high-end stores and dining options. With ten levels of world-class shopping, the lower floors feature luxury brands while the upper levels offer everyday items and restaurants. The basement houses a vast supermarket and numerous food choices. This entertainment extravaganza also provides go-karting, VR gaming, and diverse retail outlets from trendy fashion to cutting-edge electronics.
Beautiful department store with plenty of high end luxury brands and fantastic restaurants. Easy parking and overall a great place to hangout and spend the day. Service is great and everything is clean. The Japanese grocery store is also amazing with tons of fresh produce. There’s so many dessert shops to pick from too.

This is a huge mall in Kaohsiung, located right next to Kaohsiung arena. It has over 12 floors of shopping, eating and entertainment options. There’s underground parking lot available. The food courts are at the lower floors. First floor has all the luxury brands. Second floor and above have women’s apparel, accessories, men’s and kid’s goods. The mall also has popular brands like Uniqlo, Theodora’s watch, and restaurant like Ding Tai Fung that always has a line outside. The price range varies widely depending on the store and the products. I went to the Adidas store that had a deal for buy 2 get 1 free. I bought 2 sleeveless shirts and got an NT1200 (US $40) shorts for free. I also found lots of good men’s watch and shoes here. The whole mall is very clean, organized and functional. Restrooms are very clean. There are multiple customer service desks available. Staff at the stores have always been friendly and helpful to me.

This big shopping mall was convenientky located right next to Kaohsiung Arena, easy to get in by public transportation. Its B1 floor was a food paradise to us, with many good choices, for lunch, dinner, or just a snack bite. A good spot to make a stop in Kaohsiung.

The din tai fung in b1 is very tasty and spacipus, and there's quite a lot to see in the mall itself.

My favorite mall in Kaohsiung. I grew up in the area and have been going to this mall since I was in high school. The mall has all kinds of shopping: fashion, shoes, jewelry, electronics etc. Food and restaurants at lower level and pretty much every floor. All the staff are very helpful and nice. Most food/drink places have English menu. Most people are ok communicating with English. The price range depends on what you are looking for. They have on sale items and high end stores. Highly recommend for tourists to check it out. It’s also great coming in hot weather. The AC is strong.
Sharon H — Google review
Similar to Vikings Buffet in the Philippines but fancier. Offers a wide array of selections grouped by region or food cuisine unique to each area or culture. Be sure to make early reservations. The line may at times get long but well worth the wait.
L R — Google review
This mall is a bit different from the usual layout. Instead of individual storefronts, many of the shops are open-concept stalls spread across each floor. The ground level is mostly restaurants, while the upper floors focus more on fashion.
Mochaguy 2 — Google review
So cool! Right now it is in christmas theme, so there is a big store with big christmas tree here. It is so good, and around 18.00 there will be artificial snow that was sprayed from the upper part of the mall. I suggest to come here around 16.30-18.30 because it was a good time to take photos here

Night market
Lingya/Ziqiang Night Market, located in the Lingya District of Kaohsiung City, is a bustling and popular night market among locals. It is situated at the intersection of Ziqiang 3rd Road and Lingya 2nd Road. The market offers a wide array of delicious dishes that will surely excite your taste buds.
I’m pretty sure those of you who are visiting Kaohsiung would’ve marked down either Ruifeng Night Market or Liuhe Night Market as a must-visit spot, but I honestly feel that you can skip both of those night markets and head straight to Ling Ya Night Market if you’re an absolute foodie. This market is less touristy, there are many eateries and stalls selling mains and less of snacks. Itis a collection of foods stands intersecting Ling Ya Street and Zi Chiang Road. The market is located just south of the Han Shen Department Store and Han Lai Hotel by about a 5-10 minute walk. The market has a selection of stall foods and drinks. It’s also a fruit and vegetable market during the day. Lots of food available. Not so congested and very accessible. Friendly people and good foods.
Dokrik69 V — Google review
Of the four major night markets south of Central Park, this one is by far, my favorite. Compared to Xingzhong, Guanghua and Jhongsiao, this market has the widest variety of foods, including a Japanese, a Cantonese (Hong Kong) style meat vendor, two fresh fruit vendors, including roasted nuts, plus a specialty desert, which always has a queue. There is also an indoor food court (Lingya Market), with a few small restaurants, slightly more upscale than what I usually encounter (see pic). Though there is nothing wrong with the other three, as two of them are much bigger with double or triple the vendors, they serve the normal foods available throughout Taiwan, which appeals to the locals' diet (noodles, stews, etc.), which they consume daily. For me, it would be like eating pasta every day, with variables being the ingredients and the soup base. Lingya/Ziquiang is midsized, running along a single block, east to west, however it also turns south with Fragrant Park anchoring the eastern edge, into a "L" shape and the variety of foods here maybe greater than Liuhe, which is located to the north and a favorite for tourist. Being a little off the beaten path, Lingya/Ziquiang has few foreigners and appears to be the "gourmet" night market for locals. There are two public bathrooms, one is within the daytime market building, where the fruit vendors are, on the south side of the street, (see video) opposite the parking lot. The other is located within Fragrant Park. All in all, if one were to visit any of the night markets south of Central Park, this should be prioritized.

Were there at 7pm on Sunday and most of the shops and stalls were closed! Yes! CLOSED! We were shocked and could see some other tourists had the same feelings as ours. Was it because that we went there at the wrong time, or it was overrated?
Lê K — Google review
An alright night market, but didn’t seem to have as much variety as the other night markets like Ruifeng. The stalls are also along an active road, so there’s a near constant stream of motorcycles that come very close to you. Would recommend trying the other night markets instead.

Felt too open. Lots of traffic going back and forth on the street. Nice because all the places had plenty of seating. But not my favourite
Kyle M — Google review
Just left the place, a lot must-try recommendations happened to be closed today Tried the other 3 that’s opened Turkey rice (large) NTD50 - nice salty taste with deep fried onions/garlic. Reminds me of Singapore’s Eat3Bowls chicken rice Garlic Stinky Tofu NTD70 - very delicious compared to the many I’ve tried in my Taiwan trips. Expect to wait for at least 10 people before you when order (about 15-20 mins). Seller’s tip to eat with the sauce really boosted the taste Meat dumplings NTD50/10pcs skin is thick, resulting ratio between skin and meat not as ideal. Long wait to order, long wait to get own table (red ones behind the stall), long wait be served (we’re still waiting after ordered dumplings & finished stinky tofu)

My visit of Ziqiang Night market was mostly not very pleasant. It is basically one straight street with a lot of local food vendors along both sides of the street but what makes it unpleasant is that the street is still open for motorbikes and scooters. The constant flow of hundreds of scooters and motorbikes is annoying and dangerous if you do not pay attention to them. The only good thing is that despite the focus on the traffic I still managed to get a box with a selection of good, fresh and cheap sushi and the nice vendor packed me even one piece more.

Shiquan Jade Market is a must-visit indoor market in Kaohsiung, open on Wednesdays and Sundays. It's a favorite spot for buying gifts, offering a wide range of jade products, including delicately carved items and unique jewelry. In addition to jade, the market also features antiques, accessories, woodwork, tea, sculptures, antique money, and paintings. Visitors can expect an abundance of jade purveyors selling various products like bracelets, sculptures, and rings.
Very accessible to public transport, the market is a large open space on a city block with a host of small traders with tables on the pavements and smaller bespoke stores dealing in allied assets and crafts. The market itself hosts a larger number of traders with tables that carry a breeding array of finely crafted jade pieces from small pendants to large sculptures. Many have other allied products on their tables. There is a pleasant hub bub riding through the market as traders chat with each other and with customers. I liked it.

A great place to go to in Kaohsiung if you want to buy some jade. Make sure to bring cash though. Also, if you don't speak Chinese, you'll want someone who speaks Chinese to come with you to make the experience as smooth as possible.

Clothing wholesale market place
Shopping mall
Hou Yi Shopping District, located just a short walk from Kaohsiung Station, is a charming area filled with an array of stores offering everything from bags and clothes to shoes. While not all shops cater to individual customers, the district is still worth exploring for its unique atmosphere. One of the main draws of this shopping area is its Instagram-worthy appeal, with colorful umbrellas and lanterns hanging overhead. The district primarily runs along Anning Road, with additional lanes branching off in different directions.
The umbrellas are back! I went the week of Chinese New Year and managed to take a couple of good shots. It was too early in the day so not much else was going on.
Sevgi — Google review
A gathering of wholesalers, you can view but they don't always give you a try on. Most of the shops have unfriendly staff. Maybe they don't entertain walk-in customers. There's no public toilet nearby and the shop won't share their restroom. They don't even tell you where is the nearest one.
K. T — Google review
Umbrellas have been changed from solid colours to striped ones. Apparently they’re not retail shops but more wholesale stores. Tried to buy a piece of clothing but they rejected me because I wasn’t from a business. Still nice to admire the umbrellas on a sunny day
Terynn L — Google review
Umbrellas seem to be gone again! Not worth going to this street, unless there’s something you want to see in particular - the shops are mostly not the usual retail shops, so not suited for normal individual customers. There are better streets for clothing.
Weiq — Google review
This district only starts business at 11am. Shops do not allow trying of clothing even putting them without changing to try the cutting. Most of the sales personnel were unfriendly and some were rude. The nearest restroom is at the Mrt station under construction. Not worth checking out the street at all.

Park
Central Park in Kaohsiung is a vibrant urban oasis that serves as a popular gathering spot for both locals and visitors. This expansive green space features serene walking paths, a picturesque lake, and charming fountains, making it an ideal place to unwind amidst nature. While the park itself doesn’t host night markets, its proximity to bustling streets filled with food stalls and local crafts offers an authentic taste of Taiwanese culture just a short stroll away.
We visited this park seven years ago, and it's amazing to see how much it has changed since then. The efforts made by the government to develop and improve this park are commendable. The facilities are well maintained, and the environment feels more welcoming and vibrant. It's a perfect spot for families, friends, or anyone looking to relax and enjoy.

Good ambience... Its a great place to relax and take fresh air within the City. Its location was very nice for having a metro station.
Jeff G — Google review
Kaohsiung Central Park is more than just a park; it's a symbol of Kaohsiung's transformation into a modern, livable city that values green spaces. It successfully blends nature, art, and urban life, making it a must-visit destination for anyone in Kaohsiung. For Tourists: It's a perfect place to take a break from sightseeing, enjoy some green space, and get those iconic photos with the Rainbow Church and the city skyline. Its proximity to other major attractions makes it an easy stop.

Central Park is more than just a park — it is a landmark that reflects the city’s history. Even today, it showcases the resilience and spirit of the locals. From the artistic MRT entrance to the winding paths throughout, every visit is a true delight. Whenever I can, I come here to observe everyday life, and walking through the park feels like experiencing the passage of life itself.

This is a nice park to walk through when you want to enjoy a bit of nature but not go on a hike. It was a rainy day though so that wasn’t as nice. The park is nice and spacious. I liked the lake and the bridge. I met a friendly pigeon that day and that was pleasant. It is a well presented park and the mrt station is basically at the end of the park depending on which direction you go in from. There is a cafe there as well which is cool.

The mall itself boasts over 300 shops spread across seven floors and is connected to the E-DA Theme Park and two upscale hotels: E-DA Skylark Hotel and Crowne Plaza.
This outlet mall is so huge that it is a wonderful place for exploring. Wherever you go, you will find something that stirs your curiosity. You will also encounter the statue of a God on your way. Just say hello to him, and he will be your wonderful spiritual guide, making your journey here an unforgettable artistic experience.....

I did not spend too much time inside this mall since I was here solely because I went to E-DA amusement park in the daytime for my birthday of the day of. However, I found this mall to be very spacious on a Monday afternoon (probably to be expected). Within this mall, there are lots of places to see, shop, and rest at. Both the Louisa coffee and Starbucks have large areas on their respective floors. The Kingstone bookstore area was surprisingly small though. I did wander into Muji for awhile and the young lady working that afternoon was very helpful, friendly, and professional. I also did go to the help desk on the second floor after going up the escalator besides Muji and the young man working that afternoon was stumped by my question of whether the EasyCard has discounts for traveling between buses and the metro. However, he quickly called a colleague and was very polite in informing me that currently the public system in Gaoxiong doesn’t have that kind of service. All in all, although I didn’t see much of the mall, from the staff I encountered, all are professional, amiable, and worthy to be commended. I would definitely visit next time if given a chance
Jon — Google review
Good prices and lots of variety of outlets from clothing to accessories. Also the theme park and food court is very delicious and lots of options to choose from. Worth the trip and it also provides bus services to Kaohsiung city and prices for park fees can range less than 1000 ntd. Depending on the day and type of ticket like kids or students.

Very large mall that I mostly recommend in Kaohsiung (even better than dream mall). Sadly, it is quite far from the downtown. I recommend it because the offered brands are a little bit lower (not like Dior or Channel).

The worst "entertainment" park i ve ever seen... 2/3 of the mall is very clean with. If brands the rest is literally cheap , like "show ba" stuffs...dirty, old, who need a fresh coat of paint, and in the middle of the mall you have that great view of the abandoned residences let there to rot. The big weel 200nt$ per person... Everything look like a scam ,the cheap shops and the animations. The main park is so small half a mile long with old games, old attractions, it's so bad than even the birds try to not fly over... Shame

Comfy and a fine place to visit, go shopping, and having F&B with family and friends. Fine interior deco, well-picked brands, multi selections of fine design / luxury brands. An open space with a circulation plan nice for shopping, and good navigation. I found there is some recharge rental machine, it’d be nice to place a navigation marker where to find a “ChargeSPOT”. Also good for PR purposes Just a little suggestion; to place few seats and few benches nearby the restaurant and/or elevator for someone, who is expecting for companies / elevator/ etc.

Holy Rosary Cathedral Minor Basilica, established in 1859, is the oldest Catholic church in Taiwan and a top attraction near Central Park Station. The Gothic and Romanesque architecture with European influences, including rose windows and Roman arch windows, makes it a magnificent sight. As the largest Catholic church in the city, it holds Sunday mass at 11am for Christian devotees.
Small but beautiful cathedral. Been touched by the bible verse i've chosen and by the nun who translated it. Couldn't help myself to cry due to the background music. Still teary eyed everytime i think of it. Thanks for the unforgettable experience ☺️

Update 2025 July Please look in updates for latest mass schedules Update : Daily Mass Schedule from July 1, 2024 Mondays to Fridays 7:30pm Saturdays 8pm This is also the Kaohsiung Cathedral or more properly known as Basilica Cathedral of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and has stood for over a century near the banks of the Love River since its groundbreaking in the year 1858 by the Kingdom of Spain from the Philippines when the Philippines was under Spanish rule. It is the oldest Church and minor Basilica in the whole of Taiwan. The building was patterned after the Manila Cathedral and finally completed in 1928. It suffered damage during the last major earthquake in late 2022 and was closed for sometime to repair. When the Cathedral reopened, only Chinese masses are celebrated there now. Hopefully, they can hold masses again in English seeing the close history of the Philippines to the Cathedral so that the Filipino (and other foreign residents) Catholic population (which probably surpasses the number of Taiwanese parishioners here) can continue to enjoy the Cathedral. As with old churches, the interior is not airy and bright. It has a very private confessional and has a statue of the Risen Christ in the main altar under the statue of the Madonna and Child which dates back to 1863. I love churches with the Risen Christ because it boosts the optimism that I seek. Toilets are located in the relatively large parking area. The location is also very central to other must see sights in Kaohsiung like the Music Hall, Love River, Pier 2.

Night market
Nanhua Tourist Night Market, also known as Xinxing Night Market or Ladies Street, is a covered daytime market located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It offers a variety of clothing and everyday items at reasonable prices, with the opportunity to bargain for even lower prices. While it mainly caters to women's fashion and accessories, there are also options for men and children.
Location : beside the Kaohsiung main post office, Formosa Boulevard MRT station exit 5. When I first came to Kaohsiung 20 odd years ago, this place was bustling and trendy and a treasure trove of exciting finds in clothes, shoes, accessories. Nowadays, although upgraded with a lively mural that pops at the Jungjeng road entrance and beautiful changing lights on the ceiling, it is much quieter with a lot of vacant stalls. Note though that attached pictures were taken a week day visit, so more stalls will be open on weekends. However, there are still lots of great choices for inexpensive bargain footwear, not so trendy clothing, food and drink stalls. The prices are comparable to online sellers with the advantage of seeing and trying on what catches your eye. Dance costumes, traditional Chinese dresses, elegant gowns can also be found here as well as a textile shop, curtain maker and sexy, suggestive clothing. There is also a cobbler who can do shoe repairs and a shop that sells upscale luggage that advertises luggage repair! Hard to find elsewhere, traditional practitioners of cosmetology like threading, waxing, manicure and pedicure, cheap facials are still here😀 The seller of the QQ (fried sweet potato) balls is still in his corner slot, the fruit seller (cut, ready to eat as well as whole fruit) is still there as well as the stalls selling various cooked to order foods. Would I come back here? Definitely YES! While I like the quiet and lack of bustle, i pray and hope business improves and we don’t lose this old style night market that has so much more character and charm than the trendy malls and online shops. Parking lot is available at the Jungshan/Minsheng corner as well as some street parking. Accessibility-all flat suitable for wheelchairs.

This is predominantly a clothing market place, which happens to be open at night. There are a few good stalls at the southern end of the block.

An iconic Taiwanese night market with everything from food to drinks, clothes to jewellery and fun activities for children. A must-visit spot for anyone wanting to experience an authentic street market in Kaohsiung. Would recommend (especially in summer months) taking a bottle of water with some wet wipes and a decent amount of cash/change for spending at stalls.

Guanghua Night Market is a lively and classic night market located on Guanghua 2nd road, offering a variety of traditional street food such as stewed pork ribs, noodle soups, saltwater noodles, stir-fried eel and cuttlefish, bean curd, eight treasure shaved ice and more. The market has been around for over 60 years and features roadside tables where you can enjoy the local delicacies at affordable prices.
Lots of varieties of traditional night market food. Fair prices. Did not pay attention if they are ready for foreign tourists.

More of a spot where locals come to eat dinner than a night market. Food is still great, just don't be expecting a lot of walking and eating as with liuhe night market.

The market is. It big, 2-blocks on each side of the street. We had to fight with the vehicles with the raid unlike many other night markets with pedestrian walk paths.

it is THE local night market, unlike those famous ones gonna try fried chicken next time

The location is not the best. Not like a traditional night market were you can walk freely. Cars and bike are right next to you. Having that said, you can find some good food. I couldn't find the individual shops pages. Ask for a stinky tofu shop, the make it with black pepper. Extremely good.

Unlike the old days when i was here, there were so many peoples pas by, and many vendors compete to attract the prospective buyer. Now the nite market is less crowded. However the old zhou tofu hotpot is still here and still very delicious

Xingzhong Night Market, also known as Singjhong Night Market, is a small but bustling night market situated in the Sanduo Shopping District near the MRT station of the same name. The market features a single street lined with around twenty food stalls, offering a variety of affordable and delectable street food options. Operating from around 11 in the morning, it provides a convenient spot for locals, working adults, and students to savor simple yet satisfying dishes like soup.
This is a small night market with great food options. If you are in the vicinity , you should definitely visit it.

It's a little night market located close to my hotel. directly located on the street so it's not closed off . so be careful when you eat and walk there. food choice was not bad. price is good. friendly people doing business is what matters.

Lots of food to choose from..a little bit busy woth scooters all around. Food is great and authentic
Dokrik69 V — Google review
Xingzhong is smaller, about half the size of the other night markets in the area, namely Jhongsiao to the north and Guanghua to the east. It runs one avenue from north to south. This market consists of the usual foods one would find, noodles, soups, stews, rices, etc. if one were in the area, I would suggest going in a loop around all three and taking a bathroom break, pitstop at a small park, such as Minquan Park, along the southern leg. I did not find anything unique here and the foods are oriented to local tastes and customer base.
Zong H — Google review
A short street of food. Selection is good and you got to be aware of traffic while walking, lots of scooters stopping and zipping by, typical in the streets of Taiwan and it is safe as they are aware of pedestrians. The usual fares in Taiwan night market. However, this place seems to be open even in the morning, with more stalls opening in the evening. Really near SOGO, Sanduo MRT station. Worth a visit if you are nearby.

A small night Market with very little variety of food. Traffic flow was quite high here where a lot of scooter may come in all directions to buy food from the stalls here as well as its situated on the streets. So do be careful and keep a look out for traffic. Only managed to try the sausage wrap stall located near the entrance. Cost me NT$50 but it was nice and flavorful with lots of garlic cloves and pickle ginger slices. If u are looking to feed the whole family, need not waste time here, as its more of a breeze walking session place.

Pier 2 Art Center is a gorgeous Boutique Arts & Craft centered boardwalk experience. There are markets with various food stalls, homemade goods, clothing, and jewelry. It is also a great spot to watch the sunset and go running along the river. I will say that most of the items are tourist priced - with many priced around 1000NTD+ My favorite part of the walk were the murals and sculptures along the Light Rail tracks.

The Pier-2 Art Center is the most iconic cultural and artistic hub in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Its name comes from its history: "Pier" refers to the wharf, and "2" indicates it was the Second Port. Receiving Warehouse. This area was originally a group of abandoned warehouses used for storing sugar and fish meal. After being revitalized, it was transformed into a vibrant space for art, creativity, and performance. The Pier-2 Art Center is more than just a tourist attraction; it's a dynamic platform where Kaohsiung's industrial past fuels its creative future. Whether you're an art lover, a design enthusiast, or a family looking for a fun day out, Pier-2 offers a unique and inspiring experience for everyone.

Coming here to Kaohsiung, this place has always been on my must-visit list. I’ve seen so many photos and heard great stories about it, so finally seeing it in person feels exciting. It’s no surprise why many people love this spot—it’s calm, scenic, and full of charm. I decided to visit early in the morning to enjoy the quiet side of it, before the crowd started coming in. The cool breeze, the peaceful surroundings, and the soft morning light made it even more special. Deacon really enjoyed walking around and taking pictures without the usual rush of tourists. It was the perfect way to start the day and appreciate what Kaohsiung has to offer.

Very good circuit which mirrors the Suzuka F1 circuit. Go karts are all in good condition as well as the circuit. The tracker provides guests with a good view of the racers. One can also view from the "grandstand" which essentially is just a floor up. There is also time tracking for a standing for the day as well as all time best.

The track and facilities are very nice, the suzuka theme and layout makes this place special for every motorsport fans. The track is (too) wide and safe and they provide a safety briefing and equipment (100NTD for first time there). Staff was friendly and helpful. The only downside imo is the karts are a bit tired (they bog down too easily) and the brakes are a bit difficult to control even though I'm experienced. Beginners seemed to have a fun and safe experience

They have a lot of basic rides but in a mall which makes all the difference like all the ferris wheels in malls. It's nice when everything in lit up at night. I personally like the tic tac train. The go karts are nice too. They have screens to keep track of your progress. There is a nice waiting area too. You should definitely try the ride if you have ample time at the SKM outlets, for the ambience.

It’s a 10/10 place if you have younger children. Our 3/5 year olds loved it so much we spent an entire day here even though there’s only 4-5 rides available we kept doing each of them over and over as it was a quieter weekday. The outlet mall beside is extremely clean and has a diverse food array of various cuisines and price points. The staff were very friendly and attentive. One of them even blew bubbles when our kids were exiting from the ride, a small but very sweet touch. By far one of the best amusement park activities in the entire Taiwan, especially if you have young children. Do not miss Suzuka Circuit Park / Kaohsiung if given the opportunity. Recommend to get the slightly discounted tickets from Klook as well.

Pretty decent / meh airport. There’s one food option across the entire U shaped airport terminal. The two main sides are exactly the same on both sides making it quite boring when you have a layover that is quite long. The internet is decent but also not the best.

This is my second time visiting Taiwan, but it’s my first time in Kaohsiung. I have to say, I was really impressed the moment I arrived. The Kaohsiung International Airport is very clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The staff—from immigration officers to baggage checkers and airport personnel—were all friendly and accommodating. After completing my checkout process, I headed straight to the Wi-Fi booth since I had pre-booked a pocket Wi-Fi rental. The staff there was incredibly nice and helpful, and we even had a quick, lighthearted chat. It made me feel instantly welcomed. Next, I went to the money changer to exchange some dollars, then proceeded directly to the MRT station to continue my journey. Everything was smooth and convenient, and I appreciated how efficient the whole process was. Overall, it was a pleasant and stress-free experience that gave me a great first impression of Kaohsiung. I can already tell this city has a warm and welcoming vibe, and I’m looking forward to exploring more of what it has to offer.

I never liked the crowd, so this airport was a blessing since it wasn't busy at all and fairly emptied throughout check-in, security check, and customs. Or maybe it's just my time in the day that's less busy by the late afternoon. I was impressed that there were real plants in the hallway as pillars thought out the paths to the gates. However, I was surprised that the security let my bag through without issue since I forgot to get rid of a water bottle in backpack that was 355ml...

It is an Outlet shopping mall combined with leisure fun park. There are many rides from the bumper cars to racing circuit, from Circle wheel to Air Racers. It is. It crowded so there is almost no waiting needed But for some of the games, there is minimum height requirement of 110cm. The fun park is not huge but good enough for children to spend half a day. The mall has many brands like the usual Nike, adidas and the rest. On level 3, there is a big food court and many other restaurants option but you may have to queue during lunch hours. On the same level, there is amusement area that you can have all the games machines for children to play. Food court not bad. Very convenient if taking the high speed rail. Definitely better than offerings in the station itself. Also check out the same floor as the High Speed Rail as there are more choices of places to eat there too. I had a 90nt chicken thigh with a lemon wedge. 90nt was expensive as it was only four bites, but the taste was not bad. Unlike rice dishes, it didn't come as a set with pickles and soup which is a great shame!

Has nice stores, but it is difficult to shop and enjoy your stay due to the lack of good AC. After 30 minutes I left to go to the FE Mall just down the street.

A good department store. Has stuff to shop for, as well as many food options. Also has convenient public transportation connections.

This used to be the most popular mall in Sanduo Lu. They do offer alot of items such as women's, men's and children's clothing. Toys, electronics, perfume, food and household items. Just an FYI they are currently remodeling four floors.

The traditional market Cihou Market is a covered market located in Kaohsiung Harbor view and beach. It predominantly sells seafood items, including dried squid and seafood snacks on skewers. The vendors are very friendly and generous in giving tasting samples. It is quite close to the harbor and has a nice sea food restaurants and market here.
Nice place on cijin island. Good food , especially seafood as it is by the seaside

Lots and lots of dried seafood to be purchased. If anything, PLEASE always negotiate for better price. Vendor was very willing to price down their product when I was there. Also, there is a communal weighing scale to ensure the stall vendors does not cheat on the weight of the product. Very interesting.
Yi N — Google review
It's a long shaded alley with several bathrooms. There are many shops, but they pretty much sell the same items. Dried fish, squids, etc. There may be a handful of shops that sell different items, but they are few. The sellers are nice people. They will give you samples to taste and you buy the ones you like. Sample them all without any issues. Sample items from the beginning of the market to the end of the market. We tasted so many samples all around and managed to buy four items. It was a fun and delicious experience.
C J — Google review
If you're a lover of dried seafood and seafood snacks, you will be in heaven. There are so many different varieties of dried fish, krill, and squid, to choose from. The vendors are all very nice and give generous samples to entice you to buy. Unfortunately, the stalls all basically sell the same things more or less but perhaps this gives you more bargaining power. Bathrooms are available as well. It doesn't smell as bad as I thought it would so that's a relief.
J H — Google review
Been here almost 10yrs ago, and have returned here. Probably it’s due to travel non peak season, there’s no crowd, and about half the stalls aren’t operating. Feels bit empty. Seafood goods and snacks are available here, however if this is ur first stop on reaching Kaohsiung, keep in mind that goods purchased here needs to be stored in the fridge and have limited shell life. So best not to go on shopping spree here considering how they are good with bundling more purchases at value price.

great selections of souvenirs, and SUPER FRIENDLY vendors here. long story short, i accidentally burnt my finger while eating the seafood on qijing street, so i was holding a ice bag while browsing in this market. One stranger aunty saw me, and asked if i was hurt? I nodded, and she grabbed my hand and stormed to another vendor who sold chinese medicine and asked for this mint paste and applied to my finger. It was definitely a touching and unforgettable memory <3 love taiwan!

The whole place is mainly Seafood item... get to try before buying with reasonable price. The people there is also very friendly... very generous in giving tasting sample.
Alicia N — Google review
Avoid at all cost, just head to 三凤中街 for dry goods items with greater variety. I liken the experience here to the Matrix movie, where you see rows and rows of the same Agent Smith circling Neo. That's right, you see exactly the same items being sold at all stalls lining the 200m stretch (though it felt more 400m), ON BOTH SIDES. Go on Neo, go on. Don't say the Oracle didn't warn you.

Xingda Harbor Fish Market, also known as Xingda Tourist Fish Market, Hsinta Harbor Fish Market, or Qieding Fish Market, is a bustling seafood market located in Qieding District of Kaohsiung. The market offers a wide variety of fresh seafood including sashimi, whole fish, shellfish, and squid. Visitors can also indulge in traditional Taiwanese snacks while exploring the market's offerings. Additionally, the market is renowned for its high-quality knives.
This is a great place to get super fresh seafood at a good price. My parents love seafood and they enjoy coming to this market to get the freshest. General rule of thumb, don’t go on or after windy or typhoon days, when fishing boats don’t go out.
Edward Y — Google review
We drive from Tainan to hit this market whenever in town. It feels more like a locals market and sits right at the harbor; fish is fresh. If you go, check out “SS Knife”. It’s been there since 1952 and is an amazing go to shop if you want a knife - from chef knives to swords; it’s a must. The other must do is the one of many sashimi shops - it’s all fresh.

Nice fish market, great food. And a hidden gem at the end of the market, a knife store with amazing knives.

Visited this harbor of tourist fish market on a Saturday around noon. Only very few free street parking all been occupied but there are a huge pay parking lot next to the fish market. Also the public restroom located at the parking lot too Not so busy when I arrived. Very few tourists scattered around. But the hot food section next to the Market are quite busy. I found a place for sushi, it was creamy and fresh. But not cheap. It's while worth thought. Things that sold here, you can find them everywhere in Taiwan. Nothing special, nothing unique, which is a very sad.
Steven C — Google review
I’ve cycled to this harbour and fishing market from Anping many times. The ride is flat and 99% along the seawall offering beaut vistas of the Straits of Taiwan. It’s best ridden during warmer months and with an early ( 0700h ) start. This will afford the rider a gentle breeze, coming from the Philippines, when south bound. This gets strong later in the day when you are returning north, giving you that welcome “push” home 😁

興達港 is a must-go if you're craving for some fresh seafood in Tainan/Kaohsiung. Bought these fresh crabs, mussels, sea snails and clams for only TWD800. Preparation fee is TWD100~150 per dish. Way cheaper than HK.

Global Mall Xinzuoying Station Store is a popular shopping destination located in Zuoying District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Opened in April 2013, the mall boasts a spacious floor area of 8,700 square meters and offers a wide range of activities and dining options. Visitors can enjoy various cuisines at the available restaurants with ample seating and clean facilities.
Nice shopping mall with many things to do and eat. Most of the restaurants had seats available and quite good variety of food. There bathrooms were very clean. There were lockers for luggage and many shops to buy souvenirs. It also had a play/arcade area and a climbing wall! It look very fun. The parking lot and many shops were wheelchair accessible too.

For some reason, the lift doesn’t go to the 3F; only the 2F and 4F before the mall opening hour at 11am. Before 11am, if you wish to have coffee at Louisa, you can only access the 3F via the escalator on the 2F. Once you’re at the 3F, there’s no way down except the staircase - good luck if you’ve heavy luggage.

Station in Kaohsiung where HSR speed train from Taipei stops. Served also by normal trains, MRT line and buses to reach the city cdntre 5kms, the mall is basicalky the operation centre for a transport hub with many food stalls and not properly shops and restaurants as one it might think about
Ze L — Google review
It would be a good choice to have a quick meal here rather than at SKM department store. To consider its price to quality, I would like to choice SKM.
Chris C — Google review
Not a big mall however it is located next to Zouying HSR station which is Kaohsiung city. I saw UNIQLO here and Daiso. There are food stores here.
Paul S — Google review
The management of the station or mall does not know how to manage the building , the 2 escalators are going up and people who need to go out can only rely 2 small elevators which used to transport rubbish and goods .. The management should set 1 escalator going up and 1 for going down instead 2 escalators are going up . The management not taking serious action to against illegal parking as well . Overall experience is kinda rubbish

ALIEN Art Centre is a stylish museum located in an old military hostel, showcasing temporary displays of contemporary art installations. The center features diverse exhibitions covering various disciplines such as paintings, video, photography, and sculptures. Visitors can also enjoy a permanent work by James Turrell. The architecture of the museum complements the displayed artworks, creating a captivating experience for art enthusiasts. Additionally, the center houses a refined restaurant offering excellent food at reasonable prices.
Amazing little museum. Everyone was very nice and some spoke English. Art like art is subjective but I found some pieces very moving and amazing. Must try the café. So much fun to order the drinks very artistic flavors different for my taste but I still loved the experience. James Turrell exhibit closed until oct 2025 😢. Still worth going !!!!!

One of the few renovated heritages without placing a noticeable introduction, in a common way like most of the others do, about its historical background on-site. Instead, the operator let the arts and cultural vibe talk about it history by exhibits and the aesthetical setup. It is an ordinary tranquillity out of the extraordinary.
Ckyd77 — Google review
My favourite art centre in Kaohsiung- although I guess each experience will be different depending on what exhibitions are on. I found the space and exhibitions to be really well curated. The building itself is also really beautiful, and the cafe looked great, but we didn’t stay as I had kids with me and I didn’t want to ruin the vibes.
Jade J — Google review
I visited this place on Sunday morning, just before leaving Kaohsiung, and wished I had more time to enjoy it. It’s not far from Hamasen Railway Cultural Park, so this is a great spot to escape the heat and enjoy a peaceful environment filled with art. The building is renovated preserving its traditional style. The exhibitions are fairly small but well curated, and the views from the corridors and windows are nice as well. The day lounge is also lovely with kind and welcoming staffs. If you enjoy art and are looking for a quite and relaxing place, I highly recommend a visit. Plus, your admission ticket can be used as a coupon for a full discount at the lounge/shop, definately worth it!

A chill and cool place! Worth visiting the ALIEN Art Centre in Kaohsiung to see all amazing works of many artists here. I liked the exhibitions “Leave a message” and “Responsive vision” plus many thoughtful designs….. We also enjoyed yummy food in the cafe and the ticket fare could be used to cover the food costs!
Kamy Y — Google review
Perfect for a lunch break during the week. Very few people at this time so I was able to fully enjoy the art and the architecture. Food at their cafe was good, not exceptional but better than expected from a museum cafe.

Alien Art Center is a good option when you're in Kaohsiung. It has 3 storeys worth of mini galleries for you to check out. The staff were very welcoming and approachable. The displays had english explanations which was handy for me. Overall, we covered it in 30 minutes. We paid for $120 TWD per person which I consider to be well worth the visit.
Lorenzo S — Google review
Was pleasantly surprised to see a Turrell piece here. We liked both of the shows that were up when we visited and the food at the café was quite good. We actually went down to Kaohsiung from Taipei specifically to visit this art center and it was worth the trek. Keep in mind, the Turrell piece is on view only certain periods of time throughout the day so plan accordingly.

Wumiao Market is an intriguing marketplace that operates for a limited timeframe, usually from around 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Some establishments open as early as noon for lunch and stay open beyond 6pm, but this is not the norm. This market offers an excellent assortment of seafood and meats that can be cooked at home or purchased already prepared.
A very crowded market that sells many groceries, such as fish, meat, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Although there is not much parking, it is still worth a visit for groceries.

Really cool market with very limited open times. Approximately 1:30pm to 5:30pm. Some places open as really as non for lunch, and stay later than 6 but not most. While it is open great selection of seafood and meats to cook at home as well as prepared.

It's a wet yet not smelly market with a great varieties of fresh fruits, vegetable, meat, seafood, and cooked items inter-mixed. Visited mainly by locals, but it's an eye opener for us who see only structuredly grouped stalls back home.
