Very loud , no space to move around without people walking infront of you. When you have a pram you want shopping to be peaceful and pleasant. But I just keep moving thinking of my family and keeping the day as pleasant and happy as possible. Day was absolutely awesome with my amazing partner and young son ❤🌍😍

A wonderful boy called Christopher helped me find exactly what I was looking for. I'm so happy with my Chicago bulls top! His service was too notch and he was so polite and knew his stock so well, I'm very impressed!

Today my friend and I were at the disabled till and we were given a lot of abuse, accused of jumping the queue, not disabled etc etc. The cashier was lovely and said ignore them. I was embarrassed enough using it because I knew people would judge. This has affected us deeply and I will endure pain just to stand in the queue rather than go through that again.

Great selection of clothes for everyone. Reasonable prices. If you see something you like it's best to get it there and then as stock rotation is quick and not easy to get from other stores as they operate the same. Ok quality, was never as good a quality as some of the bigger named stores but they now seem to be coming down to Primark quality but with the same expensive prices they always had.

Customers lined up round the checkout , one till operating, staff standing doing nothing at the self scanners, and wouldn't open another till, shopped here for years , but I won't be back, Matalan tried this a few years ago... Forcing customers to self scan... And I haven't been back there since either. I don't work for Primark!

I went shopping with my son and husband at Primark. We really enjoyed the shopping experience — the staff was very nice and friendly, and the quality of the clothes was also very good, though there’s still room for improvement.

Good shop with lots of stocked items but the staff are useless, not good at assisting you and when you reach the tills the queues are long with a wait of 20 mins before been served not good.

The staff in Stirling JD Sports were very helpful to get me a pair of golf shoes in 2 sizes to try. I chose a pair and the box had a price tag of £59.95. But the till came up with £64.95. A manager was called & he explained he could not sell the shoes to me at the marked price on the box. Whilst he was legally correct I didn't want to pay for the mistake, so still no shoes.

Good selection of trainers at reasonable prices however had to stand in a queue for 25 mins 🕰to pay for them, Get more tills open!

The security guard was one of the most unpleasant people I have encountered in a while. He kept following me around. As the jacket was £10 and I had been told it was £30, I went to his other employee and asked him to tell me the price. He said it was £10 and every time I went to him he kept badmouthing me to his colleagues. And I will never go there again.

Visited here to look for new trainers for going on holiday. Needed something comfy. I'd previously been in and bought a pair Karrimor running trainers which are really comfy.💕 I ended up buying another two different coloured pairs of the same kind on this visit. There is really a lot of choice in JD Sports, great shop with really decent prices. The staff were very nice too which makes for happy shopping 😁

I luv JD Sports shops normally but the staff here are pretty unhelpful and today I waited outside for over an hour for it to open. Site says it opens at 9am on Saturdays. At 10.10am it still wasn't open so I couldn't wait any longer and went to another shop and spent a large amount of money on sportswear

Decent store, good range in footwear but seems overpriced. The same trainers can be purchased online for a fraction of the price. Seen Timberland boots but they were priced at £139 which seemed excessive, few days later I bought a pair online for £90. Speaks for itself. And it was exactly the same boots.

It's a good convenient shop. But it does not have the greatest selection of trainers. I always like to try trainers on before I buy them instead of ordering off the internet and having to send them back.

Absolutely charming place to get an original and hand made gift (or a treat for yourself, why not!) Went by on a Friday and despite Google saying it was closed we were lucky to catch it open because they had an opening of an exhibition. Totally worth popping in if you're anywhere near Stirling.

I absolutely love a local store with handmade things. What a great spot for this in the middle of town. Our bus practically stopped right in front. Most local people had a QR code to scan or a write up about them. So much to see and buy for a decent price. Definitely a place to grab some nice art work

One of the best gift shops we have visited. All the items for sale have been locally made. There is an extensive range of beautiful gifts at reasonable prices. Definitely worth a visit.

A lovely store with all sorts of cool things – from keychains, paintings, and mugs to exquisite jewelry pieces. If you’d like to buy a truly unique souvenir or a gift, this is definitely the place to go.

What a nice shop! I absolutely loved it So many different artworks by different artists, shoping many different aspects of Scotland There are prints and paintings, but also pottery, stationery, brodery kits, stickers, and so many more The employees are very nice and helpful, and overall the ambiance in the shop is very cosy and comfortable I would have liked to buy everything in this shop Definitely recommend!

Best Christmas Shop anywhere! There is always something different and unusual here… I got a very amusing Brussel Sprout Garland from here! And an adorable sitting Christmas tree (amongst other things) this year. The lovely lady there is always stunningly turned out and has the most amazing outfits, and her little helper is adorable, Miss Clootie Dumpling 🥰

What an excellent store! If you love Christmas this is your place to stop. Keychains, candies and a bunch more things. Prices are decent and plenty to find in your price range.

Amazing shop. I always pop in whenever we are in Stirling. There’s always a lovely range of unique and interesting items and I never fail to leave with something special. The owner is lovely to chat to and her passion is clear to see inside the shop and the wonderful window displays.

What a beautiful Christmas shop. One of the most christmassy I've ever visited. The owner Lyndsey is a true christmaholic and you see the passion for christmas in her eyes. So when you are in Stirling or it's on your route, stop and visit this beautiful shop. It's so worth it!

We stopped into this lovely shop on our last day in Scotland after going to Stirling Castle. There were so many wonderful little ornaments and souvenirs. At the register purchasing our selected ornament we talked to the owner, Lyndsey, about how we were surprised to not have seen more highland cows during our week in Scotland. We really wanted to have seen more. The owner got on the phone and called a place that she thought might have highland cows. That place did not, but they directed us to a place that did (Muiravonside Country Park, in Falkirk). Thanks to Lyndsey’s kindness and effort, we got to see more highland cows on our trip back to Edinburgh than we did the rest of our week in Scotland. Thank you, Lyndsey, for making our trip to Scotland even better!

Absolutely fantastic store! Wonderful selection and reasonable prices. The owner was so kind and helpful. She took great care to wrap up our breakable items in bubble wrap to ensure safe transport in our luggage back to the US.

Ordered a scarf from Clan kilts and the service was great. Initially the scarf was out of stock and the staff quickly emailed me to let me know it was out of stock but they said they were getting it in at the end of week. Sure enough it arrived Friday and they sent it first class and knocked off the postage charge! Great service

I hired a kilt form Clan Kilts and the whole process was great. They were on hand to give lots of advice and there was a good selection of outfits. I ended up buying a waistcoat and jacket which was not part of the hire selection. Because of this the hire of all the accessories was all that was required. I highly recommend Clan Kilts.

I collected a handmade 8-yard kilt from Clan Kilts earlier today. Stuart and his team couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating (especially when dealing with me overseas and my infrequent visits home). The quality of the kilt was second to none. They use a very experienced kilt-maker and it shows in the quality of the end product. Will definitely be a repeat customer. Please support these local business and artisans.

Super smooth experience with Clan Kilts, when I first went into the store I had a kilt picked and measured up within 20 mins and paid the deposit and was on my way. When it came to the collection it was a similar experience, nice and smooth and I was able to try on in store before I left. I had a slight issue with one of my shoes in the hire but this was swiftly resolved and I had a new pair with me and tried on within 20 mins of returning to the store. Would recommend here and wouldn’t hesitate to hire from them again in the future. 5/5

I had an awesome experience working with Stuart from Clan Kilts for my wedding. I wanted a bespoke outfit that would be of the utmost quality and that's exactly what I received. I couldn't be happier with the quality and craftsmanship of every single article of clothing I received. The jacket was cut perfectly to my measurements, and the two-tartan kilt was the most unique thing I had found. The entire package was simply stunning! I received so many compliments on my wedding attire. I live in the United States and this was a perfect transaction. Stuart's communication was superb and I always knew where we were in the process. I was in here a month ago and the price of jellycats were the same as they were on the website. For example the ladybug was £18 (as it should be) and now prices have genuinely doubled to £36 on that item and all other jellycats have also seen this same price jump. Cost of living and all that but it gets to a point. I think the shop is great and has a wonderful selection of some great wee bits for any occasion but this has put me off.

Visited here just the other day. They have a nice, varied range of gift items, as well as some nice Scottish items (not the usual tourist trap tat). We went in for a wander, and I had seen something I intended buying for the missus, so came back later on to buy. The woman behind the till was helpful and pleasant - and I've now got a nice wee present for her upcoming birthday. Would definitely come back here and I can recommend the shop to other people looking for a nice gift.

Ordered a Harris Tweed women’s bag online from Contempo’s e-store, from Cambridge. Craig was very helpful & courteous in getting it shipped on time to reach as we were on clock. Package was shipped with care and ample protection for the goods. E-Store has a great selection too with a seamless interface and ordering experience! Highly recommended, even if not visiting the store in Stirling!

Visiting sterling and decided to have a coffee and something light to eat. The place is very clean and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful BUT. Lots of hot sandwiches/croques on display but sorry not looking appetising bacon looks anemic had a cheese tomato sandwich croque toast whatever but raw inside would have been nice if toasted properly but like other places it was in the merrychef. Drinks needed to be hotter. Profit before standards as per.

Very disappointed in the petite range, was looking forward to this store opening as thought it would have a bigger range in petite clothing, but it is worse than the old store! I am not slim nor skinny yet this is the only range on offer in trousers section and the dresses in petite are hideous! I want to be able to try clothes on in the store not have to wait until it is ordered in to try on, us vertically challenged are discriminated against taller people. Please manager give us a bigger range to select from!

Nicely laid out but is lacking in the boys/girls and baby section. Mostly what you would expect from this chain store with friendly staff , gokd spacing aroubg the store to move around and some nice clothes and accessories on offer. I would mainly use this for the mens and womans clothing however as this is the larger range and takes up most of the store but prices are matched a lot of other places.

Easy to walk around, very clean and the staff are knowledgeable about their products. Men's and children's clothing is upstairs and he products are well lit. Plenty of space to manoeuvre a buggy around. Lift at the back of the store for easily getting to the first floor.

Tall ginger gentleman (harry perhaps he was called?) Provided fantastic service. Very polite and charming young man. Very happy with my new suit.

Took 3 items back to return today , all refunded without a fuss and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Absolutely fantastic shop! They did a fabulous job making my Shaw Tartan Kilt last year and recently were able to help me with the purchasing of my lovely jacket fairly last minute when I had another wedding unexpectedly come about 😅 I was so impressed with the jacket I rented from them the previous year that I had my heart set on a similar design which they were able to source for me! Iain and Claire are absolutely brilliant at what they do and are absolutely lovely to speak to! Would highly recommend their incredible shop!

We hired kilts and purchased handfasting ribbons embroidered with our wedding date — all were of excellent quality. Claire and Iain provided a fantastic service. They also offer a kilt dressing service, which I could not recommend enough — it made our morning getting ready completely stress-free.

Fantastic! Claire and Iain made our son’s kilt for his wedding and went the extra mile (literally) to ensure it hung perfectly. They also supplied the kilts etc for the groomsmen. Cannot praise/recommend them highly enough.

I had high hopes for this store but left with nothing. Some items are bulk buy items I have seen in other gift stores in the uk. There are many local items unfortunately I didn’t find any appealing but I would try again if I ever go back to stirling.

Went to this café not a good experience. We ordered 2 brake fasts. They charged me £40 .yes £40 for two people . .1 off the staff made a poor attempt and being houmous. He was far from that .how can this be £20.25p each

Great cafe with wonderful food. Antique Centre had a lot to see and prices were extremely reasonable given the high quality of the stuff. Addendum - I visited again a year later and it was even better than the last time. Very friendly and helpful staff. Picked up a few good finds.

The coolest antique and arts centre, ever!!! Plan for plenty of time to wander and peruse all the incredible items. Everything from jewelry, military items, glassware, and art to comic books, action figures and Star Wars memorabilia! Great day out

An absolutely exquisite place full of all kinds of treasures!! My only critic is that there is not enough staff or there are too many things locked up, one or the other needs to be changed. The staff were often downright rude when customers would ask to see something from one of the many locked cases, and that was only if you managed to find a staff member within half a mile of what you were interested in looking at. It was to the point where, though I'd found many things I wanted to purchase, I couldn't be bothered tracking down a staff member to reluctantly come and unlock the case for me.

This is a super centre, any amount of vintage, antique and pre-loved items, they also have a new boutique furniture department. I love coming for a look around, it never disappoints. They have a great restaurant too, food is amazing and the staff throughout are very helpful. Best to book a table in the restaurant it gets very busy. Plenty of parking.

One of your security gards was so helpful, when I asked about somewhere to eat and also about a bank I was looking for. He was helpful, polite and professional. 😊

Biggish modern shopping centre that could be anywhere. Nothing particularly bad or good. It's clean and tidy and has a lot of chains. And that's it really.

This review is more about our first impressions of Stirling, quaint city in Scotland. The centerpiece of the town is the shopping center called Thistles. To the uninitiated Thistle is the national flower of Scotland. It is a mauve coloured flower growing on a bush that grows wild and is so ubiquitous in Scotland. Naturally it symbolizes Scotland. Thistle the shopping center symbolizes the modern part of the town. It is like any other shopping mall. It has M & S, Primark, a pound store, Boots chemist, Body care, a very big Sports Direct, Sainsbury, Costa, Timsons for repair, a Turkish delight stall, nail art, and many other retail businesses. The best part about the town is it is so convenient because the railway station, the bus stand, the Travel Lodge, the pubs and a small night life are all within walking distance. The most beautiful part of Stirling is the Fotth River and the walk along the river. Set at around 40 miles from both Edinburgh and Glasgow, it is called the heart of Scotland. The two historic highlights are the Castle and the Wallace Monument, both stand tall on hills and can be seen from anywhere in the city.

Nice enough shopping centre, cost £2.50 to park just across the road from it for roughly 2 hours. Most retail units open, it is not the biggest of shopping malls and not much of way of food to be had inside it at all! But think all the restaurants are outside. A couple of “ends” of the shopping mall I found a little cold but all in all very very clean place and toilets also spotless with a decent mix of shops to choose from.

Plenty of brightly lit up shops BUT too many that sell watches. Note the black car is over the line & the bus 🚌,. can't get through. I was wondering where all the shouting was coming from. 22/3/24 Back again to the Indian Cottage for their lovely lunch. So far it's the best in Stirling & their mango lassie is lovely & thick. Now to the thistle ctre. I saw this large wheel barrow stall, selling homemade scones, cakes & biscuits SO i paid the woman £1.30 for her empire biscuit, but i hadn't read the price on the label 🏷️ right, 'cos it cost £3 i could hardly believe it 😱 OR disbelieve it so i had another wee look & it was £3. I paid the lady the £3 & off i went with it in a white paper poke (bag) I sat down further into the Thistle ctre. waiting on my friend coming out of Primark whilst i sat eating a few bits of the biscuit & when she turned up she didn't think that i paid three quid for an empire biscuit SO i went back to double check & that was the correct price & all i told the woman was how nice her empire biscuit tasted & bought quite a large treacle scone from her that was cheeper than the biscuit at £2.50 & later on when I got back to Falkirk i got it warmed up & had butter put in it & it tasted just great 👍 😋

Personally, I've found the centre, and various places around Stirling, quite useful and mostly tolerable.Do be careful out around that town, though.Some truly skin-crawling, hate them instantly, creep-you-out creatures;trouble-provoking.Best avoided.

Always been a great shopping centre although after lockdown it's lost most of the best shops and they have been replaced by what can only be described as similar to a jumble sale. Its clean and easy to navigate and good covid rules in place. Needs better quality shops. You can learn to play our nation anthem however.

Used the Arcade to get from Murray Place across from McDonald's up to Wee Wolf Bistro at top of King Street. Some lovely baby and wedding shops but been there done that. Lol. Lovely Arcade tho but wish was more cafes and pubs in it so was perhaps more popular with people. Sad to see it so empty tbh 😕

Lots of abandoned units. A shame, as it would be a nice place for small, independent businesses.

I believe this is the oldest shopping arcade in Scotland. Not much in it just now but J's gems is well worth a visit

The Stirling Arcade has long been an important feature in the city centre due to its prominent location right in the heart of the old town. It stretches from Murray Place (near the railway station) to King Street at the foot of the Castle Rock. Throughout its long history the building has had a variety of different names including the Stirling Arcade, Alhambra Arcade and Crawford Arcade. The Arcade recently benefited from an extensive renovation and redecoration programme, the result of which is a unique shopping environment where stunning architectural features and traditional values meet contemporary retail and business units.

This is a fabulous wee shop with amazing vintage pieces. The owner is very lovely to chat too and clearly cares about her work and shop. The shop itself is beautiful and the way that everything is shown is brilliant. I am so happy to know that I am just a walk away and can go any time!

Experience ruined by a rude unfriendly staff member who stuffed her face with food over the counter. Whilst trying to read label on item of clothing the label fell onto the table. It was not secure only dangling from a pocket. Lady said, “please ask first before you touch things so that you don’t ruin my display”. A label falling down is hardly ruining anything. My grandson, a quiet courteous 20 year old student was mortified and frankly bemused by such a curt response. Thankfully, the amazing friendly, helpful staff at Doune Castle retired our faith in people

I would recommend this shop over the Scottish Antiques and Arts Centre in terms of warmth, friendliness, value for money and the eclectic mixture of items they have. It was a really positive antiquing experience for me. A fabulous find!

Have wanted to visit for ages and eventually got there a couple of weeks back and loved it great selection of items and although I haven't managed i always check out there ever changing stock on Facebook and always something intriguing to look at Lovely couple. I buy a lot of my food here. I would prefer more human serviced tills but the trend is towards self service. Good range of food and elsewhere in building there is a large choice of clothes.

I love M & S, especially their food section or should I say only their food section, because I eat quite a lot of M & S food, love their trifles.

Visited the M&S cafe. Vegetable soup and toasties were delicious. Staff friendly. Reasonably priced. COVID protocols in place and staff following these. Plastic screens between tables. Would recommend and return.

I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit to Primark. They’ve replaced most of their tills with self-service checkouts, leaving just one staff member on a manual till. The queue for the staffed till was ridiculous, and when I asked if more staff could be put on, I was told “no.” The self-service tills are slow, inconvenient, and not designed for larger purchases. They constantly require staff assistance, which defeats the whole purpose! It feels like Primark is prioritising cost-cutting over customer service. If you’re going to introduce self-checkouts, at least have enough staff on hand to help or give customers a proper choice. Won’t be rushing back anytime soon!

Very limited availability of sizes/low stock, therefor difficult to pick out anything that catches my eye. Store is kept clean and tidy for the most part. Staff can seem a bit disinterested/unapproachable however are always available for help.

Disgusted by the way I had been treated by one of the staff members, her name I believe is May, an old lady with short grey hair. I was in with my dog and husband, before entering the shop we both checked for any signs at the main doors. We entered and started to do our shopping, this lady approached me and asked me to leave because I had my well-behaved dog with me, at that point I said to her it seemed strange to ask me to leave as I didn’t see any signs outside the door, but I told her I was gonna check for my husband to warn him that I would be outside. At that point, the lady followed me and called security, as I was a criminal or something, that also felt like discrimination as the lady was talking to me as if I couldn’t understand her language. At that point, I found my husband and I was about to leave when this security man started to follow me towards the door making me feel uncomfortable, I felt mortified from this experience I had been treated like a criminal not coming back. Primark it’s 2025 you still don’t allow dogs in your shop ridiculous. You’re not a restaurant, just a cheap shop with rude staff!!!

Good deals, but the shop is messy. I opened pijamas to check the size and one of the staff (young lady wearing glassess) looked at me as she wanted to kill me. Two other young boys were chatting and laughing at something, too. I suppose staff do not care about this job.

Originally walked into vpz over the road from this wicked shop and got nothing but a rude response , I refused to give them my custom and walked over the road to Prime Vapours to be professionally welcome and energy matched me! As I didn’t find my previous liquid, Ed helped my for a while, crunching down on finding the flavour for me! I am very thank full he was there and would 1000% recommend this shop and the new owner Ed for it all ! All the best on your new take over, I can see you will do well !!

We had travelled up from Southampton and forgot to bring spare coils for a rarer tank. Not only did you have them but the manager, I think his name was Marcus? also gave great advice and was very friendly to me and my wife, he was very knowledgeable and helped us alot :)

Great service today from Marcus. Second time i bought my kit from here. One of the few vape shops that has all the lastest tech and fantastic customer service to go with it. More expensive than ordering online just like with everything else but youll get a personalised service that you will never find online and walk out the door ready to vape!

Went into prime vapour today to grab some coils and see if I could find out why the ones I was using were burning out so quickly. I was served by Marcus who was so friendly and was able to give so much knowledge on the vape I was using and also helped improve my vaping experience with it. I also purchased a new vape while I was there to help with nicotine cravings. Marcus again gave excellent customer service and gave great recommendations on different vapes and flavours of liquids. Myself and my partner were in the shop for just about an hour and from start to finish Marcus gave great customer service throughout our visit and my vaping experience is so much better now I know what I was doing wrong in the first place, he is definitely a credit to the company and although I live in England I will still be ordering from prime vapour online after the great visit we had today 🙂

Always go love the atmosphere and how great the guy behind the counter (which I asked his name today)is always helpful and give the best help and recommendations on vape liquids. Monsta ripper and Blue slush are the latest product and my favourite was the first liquid I got recommended was fruit pastels.
