Port Grand in Karachi is a bustling waterfront entertainment destination that perfectly captures the essence of the city. Nestled on the historic Native Jetty Bridge, this lively complex opened its doors in 2011 and has since become a beloved spot for families and visitors alike. Spanning one kilometer over Chinna Creek, it features an array of dining options ranging from local Pakistani delights to international cuisines like Indian, Italian, and Chinese.
I recently visited Port Grand. The prices have changed and are no longer the same as those listed on their website or Facebook page. The current entry fee is 1,000 rupees, but you can redeem 500 rupees for snacks and food. As a tourist from Malaysia, I truly enjoyed and was entertained by the attractions here. God willing, if I get the chance, I’ll definitely come again.

You can also pay 500 only and don't take voucher it's you own choice, the dinning and a view of port sound of cargo ships and freshe air and you feel relax and it gives you peace...

This is a very pretty place to visit with family. It is well maintained and clean place. It feels like you are in some festival. It is full of surprises. Though a bit expensive but, if it wasn’t expensive people would have ruined the place. You will feel like you are in Dubai. There is free entry on some cards do ask them. Food quality and options can be increased.

Port Grand is one of Karachi’s most popular leisure spots, offering a scenic waterfront experience with a wide variety of food stalls, restaurants, and cultural activities. The atmosphere is vibrant, especially in the evenings, with live music, street performers, and beautiful views of the harbor. It's clean, family-friendly, and a great place to unwind. Entry ticket is modest and worth the overall experience.

The Mohatta Palace Museum, originally built in 1927 as a summer residence for a wealthy businessman, showcases cultural artifacts and maps within its grand halls. The unique design of the palace was inspired by the majestic residences of Rajput clan princes and features yellow stones from Karachi's Gizri neighborhood and pink stones from Jaipur, India. Acquired by the Government of Sindh in 1995, it now celebrates Pakistan's traditional decorative arts.
It is a beautiful historical piece of architecture which has been very well maintained. It was last owned by Fatima Ali Jinnah and is a true gem. Inside the palace, it is full of historical and cultural heritage of Pakistan. It houses exclusive photographs of Mohammad Ali Jinnah. It is must spot to visit while touring Karachi
Muhammad M — Google review
Visited Mohatta Palace recently and had a great time! The ticket was only 100 rupees, which is very reasonable for such a beautiful and historical place. As soon as I entered, I was amazed by the architecture  it's honestly one of the most aesthetic buildings in Karachi. The design, the colors, and the vibe of the palace are just perfect for anyone who loves old, royal-style places. Inside, it’s not just about looks — the museum is full of interesting information, art, and history. Each room has something different to offer. I learned a lot about culture, past rulers, and saw some really cool old items.Just one thing to note: you're not allowed to take your phone inside the museum. They ask you to submit it at the counter before entering. At first, I was a bit annoyed, but honestly, it helped me enjoy the visit more without distractions. It felt peaceful and let me focus on the experience. The staff was polite and the place was clean and well-managed. Totally worth visiting if you’re in Karachi and want to explore something different. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family. Great place for history lovers and anyone who enjoys peaceful, aesthetic spots.
Usama K — Google review
Its a nice building to go by for a quick stop. Especially good place for people interested in local textiles. Quaid's gallery was not quite impressive. Mobile phones/cameras are not allowed inside, which seems like overdoing security because even museums with quite old artefacts do not bare carrying them. Overall, a good one hour stay is fine. But not worth going out for out of the way. One thing that was disappointing to me was the museum staff downplaying the building's association with the princely family of Bhopal. I asked the lady at reception whether there is anything related to the princely state or the family to which it belonged, and she straight up said it was an evacuee property left by the Hindu seth Mohatta. Ardeshir Cowasjee wrote a very informative piece on the history of both Mohatta Palace and the nearby Bhopal House with the family of Abida Sultaan, daughter of Bhopal's nawab and mother of Sheharyar Khan — the former Foreign Secretary. Willingly ignoring history is not cool.

Mohatta Palace is a beautiful historic palace located in the heart of Clifton, Karachi. Built in 1927, it is one of the city's most charming and well-preserved landmarks. With its stunning architecture and rich cultural exhibitions, it’s considered one of the best places to visit in Karachi for history lovers, tourists, and art enthusiasts. A perfect blend of heritage and beauty!
Asif K — Google review
Mohatta Palace is one of Karachi’s most stunning and well-preserved historical landmarks. Built in 1927 by Rai Bahadur Seth Shivratan Mohatta, a wealthy Marwari businessman, this magnificent structure was originally designed as his seaside residence. The palace is constructed using beautiful pink Jodhpur (Jaipur) stone combined with local yellow stone, giving it a unique and majestic appearance. Architecturally, the palace is a masterpiece. It features a blend of Mughal and Rajasthani styles, with elegant domes, intricately carved arches, winding staircases, charming balconies, and serene courtyards. The interior and exterior of the building are equally captivating, and the surrounding gardens add to its peaceful ambiance. Today, Mohatta Palace serves as a museum and cultural center, hosting various exhibitions, art displays, and heritage events. It offers visitors a chance to explore Karachi’s rich history and appreciate the artistic and architectural brilliance of the past. Whether you’re a history lover, a tourist, or a local exploring your city’s roots, Mohatta Palace is a must-visit destination. It’s more than just a building — it’s a journey into the elegance and grandeur of colonial-era Karachi. Highly recommended for families, students, and culture seekers!

Mohatta Palace is a beautiful mix of history, culture, and stunning architecture. The intricate details, elegant arches, and timeless design reflect a rich era gone by. It’s really well-maintained, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. You don’t just visit, you sort of feel the past unfolding around you. They usually have an art exhibition going on so do make sure to check that too!

Wonderful experience. Extremely interesting place and extravagant display of history, our national hero Quaid e Azam! Mohatta Palace is a stunning architectural gem that beautifully preserves the cultural heritage of Karachi. The intricate designs and vibrant exhibits transport visitors to a bygone era. Its peaceful gardens offer a serene escape amidst the city buzz. The museum showcases art and history in a truly captivating way. A must-visit destination—5/5 for its charm, history, and elegance.

Frere Hall, an iconic 1860s building in Karachi, was constructed to honor Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere. The well-preserved yellow limestone structure is surrounded by a lush garden and now serves as a library and art gallery. Originally the Town Hall, it features Gothic-Venetian Victorian-style architecture and houses stone busts, oil paintings, and a library. Despite needing restoration work, it remains a significant example of British colonial engineering and a popular hangout spot for locals.
Very beautiful building. It used to be a library and now it is used as an exhibition space. There is also an art gallery inside. There are vast gardens surrounding the building which are open to all. It's in the heart of the city and the 1st floor of the building offers stunning views of the gardens around. 9/10
Aiman — Google review
Beautiful place. Library and art gallery rolled in one. The library has many old books besides the contemporary ones. Nice quiet place to read and study. Their collection of old news papers gives a glimpse into the life in Karachi in the past. Paradise for Karachi history lovers. The Sadqain Art gallery has a few art pieces on display by the mastero but the centerpiece is the mural on the ceiling. Truly awesome. A marvel. The building itself is a marvel of colonial architecture. Loved the wooden staircase. Free entry to both but sometimes there are some shoots barring access to the gallery. The government should allocate a non public time for such activities may be a specific day well advertised to avoid art lovers left disappointed. Plenty of parking available. The garden is a nice spot to enjoy famous Karachi evening breeze.

Frere Hall is a beautiful reminder of Karachi's colonial past, blending history and architecture gracefully. The Gothic-Venetian style and lush gardens make it a peaceful spot in the heart of the city. Its art gallery featuring Sadequain’s murals is a cultural gem for art lovers. The surrounding park is great for quiet walks or family outings. Sometimes, events and exhibitions bring the place to life with local talent. However, parts of the building could use better maintenance and restoration. Overall, it's a must-visit for history buffs and anyone wanting to explore Karachi’s heritage
Muhammad ( — Google review
Fere Hall is a gem in the heart of DHA Phase 5, offering a perfect blend of elegance and modern charm! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by its chic, contemporary design—think lush greenery, cozy seating, and a rooftop area that’s ideal for evening gatherings with stunning views. The ambiance strikes a balance between relaxed and upscale, making it great for everything from casual brunches to special occasions. The menu is a delightful mix of Mediterranean and fusion cuisines. I highly recommend their Truffle Pasta and Beef Brisket—both were bursting with flavor and beautifully presented (hello, Instagram-worthy plates!). Their coffee and desserts, like the Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake, are a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. Service was warm and attentive, though it did slow down a bit during peak hours. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality and experience justify it. A minor downside is limited parking on busy weekends, so plan ahead. Overall, Fere Hall is a standout spot in Karachi—perfect for foodies, coffee lovers, or anyone seeking a stylish escape. Can’t wait to return! 🌟 Pro tip: Visit during sunset for magical rooftop vibes!
Abrar A — Google review
The art gallery is pretty amazing, although it needs to be properly cleaned and maintained. My friend wanted a Nikkah Shoot here at Sadequain Art Gallery, but the person incharge Mr. Saleem asked 15,000 pkr per hour for the shoot which is crazy expensive and should be reduced to 5,000 pkr per hour so more people can use the place as a venue for a wedding shoot.

Frere Hall is one of the most iconic and historically significant buildings in Karachi, Pakistan. Constructed during the British colonial era , it was originally established as a public library and town hall, named after Sir Henry Bartle Edward Frere, a British colonial administrator who promoted economic and social development in the region. The building is a fine example of Venetian Gothic architecture, featuring elegant arches, teak wood interiors, and intricate carvings. Today, Frere Hall functions as a vibrant cultural and exhibition space, frequently hosting art exhibitions, book fairs, and public events. Inside, the Sadequain Gallery, named after the renowned Pakistani artist Sadequain, showcases many of his murals and artworks, adding immense artistic value to the site. Surrounded by lush, expansive gardens open to the public, Frere Hall offers a peaceful retreat in the midst of Karachi’s bustling urban landscape. The first floor provides stunning panoramic views of these gardens, making it a popular spot for visitors and photographers alike. Located in the heart of the city, Frere Hall remains a symbol of Karachi’s rich architectural heritage and cultural vitality. I enjoyed this place.
Imran K — Google review
The Frere hall park used to be a clean, well-maintained and relaxing place to go to to enjoy a walk, take some classes or just have a picnic in but now it is dirty and crowded, even on weekdays. The book fair on Sundays is one thing I still look forward to. Although the beggars, hawkers and vendors pile up trash and make so much noise you can't sit in peace half the time. The metal fences and trash cans have disappeared and water in the fountain is gone. Not to mention there's so much littering by the general public with no one to enforce rules to keep it clean that it's sad to see. Used to be a beautiful place, still is, but it's fallen into disrepair and disarray.

The Quaid e Azam House Museum, also known as the Flagstaff House, is a historic yellow limestone structure in Karachi. Once the residence of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan, it now serves as a museum showcasing his personal belongings and depicting his everyday life. The colonial-era building is filled with displays on the politician's life and is located amid gardens at the crossroads of Shahrah-e-Faisal and Fatima Jinnah Road.
Several galleries capturing different eras. Warm welcoming and friendly staff. The perfect place to visit for a rich journey into history. Plus the ticket only cost 20 rupees! 😻

Visiting the Quaid-e-Azam House Museum in Karachi was a memorable experience. The museum preserves the legacy of the great leader, offering a glimpse into his life. Much of the house is adorned with Sindhi cultural elements. However, photography is not allowed inside, so only a few pictures are available.
Asif I — Google review
The place is lovely. Quaid did have a good taste for everything. Entrance is free. The tour is guided but too short. 10 minutes only. You don't get time to feel the place and appreciate the beauty of the contents. The tour time should be doubled at least. No photography allowed inside. No proper Parking lot. Had to park on the road.
Incognito A — Google review
A very well-kept historical place where we felt immersed in the era of our beloved Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The house is beautifully preserved and managed. Quaid’s perfumes, furniture, Fatima Jinnah’s room, drawing room, and crockery all reflect his refined taste and sense of aesthetics. The guide gave us a detailed tour and shared valuable insights. The staff was cooperative and welcoming. Inside the house, photography is strictly prohibited, and we followed this rule with respect. It was an overwhelming experience, especially for our kids. Highly recommended for anyone who wishes to glimpse into the personal life of our great leader. Please observe the dignity of the place and follow the visiting instructions.

It is residential property of Mohammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi. It contains original clothes, furniture, crockery and cars owned by Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Fatima Ali Jinnah. It is very well maintained and should be on your bucket list when exploring historical sites in Karachi
Muhammad M — Google review
🏛️ Quaid-e-Azam Residency (Flag Staff House) — Karachi 📍 Location: Located in the civil lines area of Karachi, it is a serene and elegant colonial-era bungalow surrounded by lush green lawns and a peaceful environment. --- 🕰️ Historical Background: The building was constructed in the 19th century during British colonial rule and was initially used by British officials. Muhammad Ali Jinnah moved into this house after Pakistan's independence and lived here from 1944 till his death in 1948. It is sometimes referred to as the "last official residence" of the Quaid-e-Azam. --- 🖼️ What Makes It Mind-Blowing: 1. Authentic Preservation: The house has been meticulously preserved to reflect the original style from Jinnah's time. You'll see his original furniture, clothing, books, and even his walking stick and reading glasses. 2. Elegant Colonial Architecture: The architecture is a fusion of British colonial and local styles, with spacious verandahs, wooden floors, and tall ceilings. The ambiance still carries the vintage charm of the 1940s. 3. Personal Belongings of Jinnah: His bedroom, drawing room, study, and dining room are open for viewing. A glimpse into his personal taste and lifestyle — simple, sophisticated, and minimal. 4. Historical Documents & Pictures: Walls are adorned with rare black-and-white photographs, letters, and documentation from the Pakistan Movement. You can feel the history come alive as you walk through the rooms. --- 🏞️ Lush Garden & Peaceful Surrounding: The house is surrounded by a well-maintained garden, perfect for photography, quiet walks, or reflection. It's a peaceful escape right in the middle of bustling Karachi. --- 🎖️ National Heritage Status: It is a protected national monument under the care of the Pakistan Department of Archaeology and Museums. Schools often bring children here to learn about the legacy of Pakistan's founder. --- 🔎 Interesting Fact: Although people often confuse it with Quaid-e-Azam's Mausoleum, this is his actual residence, not his burial place. Locals call it “Flag House” because a flagpole is always raised here, symbolizing the nation he founded. 🕰️ Visiting Hours: Morning: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM 🛑 Closed for break: 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM --- 📅 Weekly Schedule: ✅ Open: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday ❌ Closed: Wednesday only

Situated near Clifton Beach, Dolmen Mall is a medium-sized shopping center that offers a range of Pakistani and international clothing brands, gift shops, and more. While its store selection may be similar to other malls in Pakistan, the mall stands out for its beautiful ambiance. Adorned with flower-themed decorations on the walls and ceilings, it provides a picturesque setting for leisurely outings with friends or solo visits.
Dolmen Mall is one of the best shopping destinations in the city! It’s clean, well-organized, and has a wide variety of local and international brands. The environment is modern and family-friendly, with great food options in the food court and a relaxing sea view from the top floors. Security and parking are well managed, and the staff is usually helpful. Whether you’re shopping, dining, or just hanging out, Dolmen Mall offers a great experience for everyone.

An Exceptional Shopping Experience at Dolmen Mall, Karachi Dolmen Mall Clifton stands out as one of the premier shopping destinations in Karachi, offering an exceptional blend of cleanliness, ambiance, and retail variety. From the moment you enter, the mall impresses with its immaculate presentation—floors are consistently spotless thanks to the diligent efforts of the janitorial staff, and the interior is adorned with tasteful decorations that enhance the overall aesthetic appeal. The mall features a wide array of retail outlets, including both renowned Pakistani brands and internationally recognized names, catering to a diverse range of shoppers. Whether you’re looking for high-end fashion, electronics, cosmetics, or lifestyle products, Dolmen Mall provides a comprehensive shopping experience under one roof. Security is visibly present throughout the premises, with regular patrols ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for visitors. The basement parking area is spacious and well-organized, making access to the mall convenient even during peak hours. One of the highlights of shopping at Dolmen Mall is the frequent sales and promotional offers available across numerous stores, which attract large crowds—especially on weekends. Despite the increased foot traffic, the mall maintains a well-managed and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Dolmen Mall to anyone seeking a full-day shopping excursion, whether with family, friends, or solo. Its combination of luxury, convenience, and hospitality makes it a standout destination in Karachi’s retail landscape.
Maryam A — Google review
I visited Dolmen Mall Clifton today to join my classmates at lunch, and once again it proved why it remains one of Karachi’s most popular shopping and entertainment destinations. The mall has a lively yet organized atmosphere, with its wide corridors, neat layout, and premium stores that make shopping feel like a complete experience rather than just a quick errand. From fashion to electronics, you find almost everything under one roof, and the staff at most outlets were polite and helpful during my visit. The real highlight of today’s trip was the food court, and the variety was impressive. The space is bright, airy, and welcoming, with plenty of seating for both small groups and large families. Even though it was busy, the arrangements were comfortable enough that it never felt overcrowded. I noticed that cleanliness was well maintained, with staff regularly ensuring the tables and counters were tidy. I opted for Chinese food, it was fresh, flavorful, and served quickly. Around me, families were enjoying everything from fast food to traditional dishes, and the energy in the food court felt warm and vibrant. The dessert counters and coffee spots added the perfect finishing touch, making it an ideal place to relax after walking through the mall. Overall, today’s visit reminded me why Dolmen Mall Clifton is more than just a shopping spot—it is a lifestyle destination. With its combination of retail, dining, and family-friendly ambiance, the mall continues to set the standard for a complete day-out experience in Karachi.

Whether its coffee or a quick snack, its got you covered. Karachi sizzles and rocks! Here at Dolmen they know how to talk the talk and walk the walk....Wheelchairs are very much available,so are doctors and first aid. The staff is friendly, the security vigilant and there is ample parking space. Also the people swimming in this shopping paradise are oblivious to the crisis and pain of the outside world...no boycotts here, so chillax. Well crafted signs to enter into the temporary bliss of delusion. Not a bad experience, kinda cool NGL. Learn to tip well. Average people struggle a whole year to visit this gallery just once every leap year. But if you eat of interest money from some famous bank .. earn a pretty looking platinum card ... they just luffffff you. Enjoy the brands that sell the world here or buy a carpet from Afghanistan at their famous display canters. Tip that man cleaning your table or picking up after you. Slavery was abolished 1400 years back.Feudals should read History Books.Liberty Books is on the Ground Floor for feeding grey cells. Charity goes a long way in the Real world so I urge you to keep tipping till the beggar mafia is exposed. Have a great day.

A great mall with all the top-class brand outlets under one roof, making shopping really convenient but this plus point of it makes this place feels more like a hangout spot than a shopping destination because of the excessive rush. Management should work on controlling the crowd and noise levels to match the high-class standards of the mall.

Empress Market, located in Karachi's prime Saddar area, is a bustling marketplace dating back to the British Raj. Built between 1884 and 1889, it is home to thousands of vendors selling everything from apparel and produce to spices and domestic animals. Despite undergoing changes over the years, the market has retained its lively atmosphere and hospitality. One of its main attractions is the central tower at its heart.
Empress Market, located in the heart of Karachi, is a captivating blend of history, culture, and commerce. This ancient marvel, with its stunning Roman architectural influence, has been a pivotal part of Karachi's heritage since its establishment by English rulers in the 17th century. Walking through the grand entrance of Empress Market is like stepping back in time. The ornate archways and intricate detailing on the building's facade are a testament to the architectural genius of the past. Inside, the market is a bustling hub of activity, offering a diverse range of products and experiences. The market is a sensory delight. The vibrant colors of textiles, the aroma of spices wafting through the air, and the calls of vendors selling fresh produce create a lively atmosphere that immerses you in the local culture. You can find everything here, from traditional Pakistani clothing to exotic spices, handicrafts, and more. One of the market's highlights is the friendly and welcoming shopkeepers who are eager to share their knowledge and assist visitors. Bargaining is a common practice, adding to the excitement of shopping here. However, Empress Market is not just about shopping; it's also a historical treasure trove. The market's storied past is palpable as you explore its various sections. The clock tower at the center of the market is a symbol of Karachi and offers panoramic views of the city. Despite its age, the market has managed to adapt to modern times, incorporating modern amenities while preserving its heritage. Renovations have enhanced its appeal, making it a must-visit destination for both tourists and locals. In conclusion, Empress Market is not just a marketplace; it's an enchanting journey through time and culture. Its rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant atmosphere make it an integral part of Karachi's identity, and a visit here is an experience that will leave you with lasting memories of this magnificent city.

The market traces its origins to the British Raj era, when it was first constructed. Today, it is amongst the most popular and busy places for shopping in Karachi. Commodities sold in the Empress Market range from condiments, fruit, vegetables and meat to stationery material, textiles and pets.
Cutelady B — Google review
A Historic Landmark That Needs Better Maintenance Empress Market is one of Karachi’s most iconic landmarks, steeped in colonial history and bustling with activity. Built between 1884 and 1889, the market was constructed to commemorate Queen Victoria, the Empress of India, during British rule. However, its location has a deeper historical significance—this was the site where Mangal Pandey, along with other Indian soldiers, was reportedly executed after the 1857 War of Independence. Today, Empress Market remains a vital commercial hub, offering everything from spices and dry fruits to household goods. Walking through its grand arched entrance, you can still see remnants of its original British-era architecture, a reminder of its historical past. However, the market is now overcrowded, and while the variety of goods available is impressive, the overall cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The market’s historic charm is overshadowed by litter, poor waste management, and encroachments. To truly restore Empress Market’s former grandeur, there is an urgent need for better cleanliness and maintenance. Additionally, more greenery around the market would complement its historical aesthetics, making it a more pleasant space for visitors. Proper restoration efforts, along with stricter waste management policies, could transform this site into not just a shopping destination but also a well-preserved historical attraction. Despite these shortcomings, Empress Market remains a must-visit for those who appreciate Karachi’s rich history and vibrant street culture. A little more care and restoration could elevate it to a five-star landmark.
Adnan F — Google review
Empress Market in Saddar, Karachi, is more than just a market; it's a living piece of history. The grand, colonial-era building with its distinctive clock tower still stands proudly, a testament to its British Raj origins. While it has undergone significant changes in recent years, particularly with the removal of encroachments, its bustling spirit remains. Today, Empress Market is primarily a hub for wholesale and retail of fresh produce – fruits, vegetables, meat, and a dazzling array of spices that awaken the senses. You'll find vendors specializing in everything from exotic dry fruits to everyday condiments. It's a fantastic place to experience the raw, vibrant energy of Karachi's local commerce, with the constant chatter of vendors and the lively crowd. Though some of the informal stalls that once spilled out onto the streets are gone, the market continues to be an essential part of Karachi's daily life, offering competitive prices and a vast selection. It's a truly authentic Karachi experience, a place where history and commerce intertwine. Be prepared for a sensory overload in the best possible way!

A must visit for everyone going to Karachi. It stands symbol for the colonial times and it is still used for its original purpose: a market. You will find spices, fruits and veggies, household items, meat.
Eniko R — Google review
Empress Market offers a unique shopping experience that is hard to find anywhere else in Karachi. The market is home to thousands of vendors who sell everything from spices, oils, meat, fruits, vegetables, textiles, shoes, jewelry, cosmetics, leather& plastic goods, crockery, snacks, candies, local and international edible & non-edible items at wholesale prices. The British Architecture encompasses a rich history that makes Empress Market a must visit destination.

Empress Market is a very good market. Things are very cheap here. Especially here you get every kind of pure oil. It is extracted in front of you and made into pure oil. There are many things in it that you can buy for yourself, such as dried fruits, etc.
SHER S — Google review
Empress Market has an important historical and cultural value in Karachi but it is sad to say that it has not been properly protected and maintained by the government, especially considering the importance of sanitation issues. Doing so and restoring it to its original beauty will surely enhance the overall experience of the visitors. .

Fantastic day of shopping, dining & fun at Lucky One Mall! I recently visited Lucky One Mall with my family, and it turned out to be a fantastic full-day experience. From world-class shopping to delicious dining and exciting entertainment, the mall truly has something for everyone under one roof. Lucky One Mall lived up to its reputation as Pakistan’s largest and most vibrant shopping destination. With a vast array of brands, spotless interiors, enthralling entertainment options, and convenient amenities—it had everything wrapped under one roof! My boys and I personally enjoyed shopping at J. Dot and Almirah. Both outlets were well-organized with excellent collections, offering a wide variety—from traditional shalwar kameez to premium cuts and stylish formal wear. My wife and daughters were thrilled with the Sapphire, Khaadi, and Ethnic outlets, especially their exclusive collections, vibrant designs, excellent fabric quality, and the trendy fusion of modern and traditional wear. Each store had plenty of variety, which made their shopping experience smooth and enjoyable. The biggest highlight for my younger daughter was Onederland. She had an amazing time enjoying the rides, climbing activities, and trampoline zone. The place was clean, safe, and well-supervised, which gave us peace of mind while she had endless fun. It’s truly a dream spot for kids. We also stopped by Carrefour, which made our grocery and household shopping easy and affordable. Lucky One Mall has an excellent mix of both national and international brands—Adidas, The Body Shop, Hush Puppies, Charles & Keith, Giordano, and many more. It’s definitely a complete shopping hub. For dining, we chose BBQ Tonight inside the mall. The food was excellent, with juicy kebabs, flavorful handi dishes, and freshly baked naan. The service was attentive, and the ambiance made it a perfect family dining spot after a long day of shopping. Lucky One Mall is a delight for shoppers, food lovers, and families alike. It’s a one-stop destination that keeps you engaged for hours. A few things to keep in mind: weekends can get busy, so parking might get crowded—but with a bit of timing and planning, it’s still a top destination in Karachi.

Visiting Lucky One Mall was an absolute delight from the moment I stepped inside. The lobby is massive, elegant, and gives a grand first impression — it truly feels like walking into a luxury world. The mall is packed with premium outlets, top fashion brands, and high-end stores, all neatly organized and beautifully maintained. Whether you're into shopping, dining, or just exploring, this place offers everything under one roof. What really impressed me was the ambiance — calm, classy, and vibrant, perfect for families and groups. The food court is diverse, the play area is great for kids, and the staff are courteous and professional. If you're looking for a mall that combines luxury, comfort, and entertainment, Lucky One is the place to be. Definitely a 5-star experience — can’t wait to visit again!

French Beach in Karachi is a popular destination for those seeking relaxation and tranquility away from the city. Formerly a small fishing village, it is now frequented by visitors looking to enjoy swimming, surfing, and scuba diving. This privately-owned beach offers an exclusive experience with restricted access, providing a serene environment with pristine sands and clear waters. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful retreat and are encouraged to bring their own snacks while maintaining the cleanliness of the area.
Beautiful place if you have a hut booked with them. For families.
Irfan A — Google review
Very peaceful place. Would love to visit again. But yeah, as I felt there were lots of rocks everywhere, if you are crazy about taking a bath on the beach, this place is not for you. But it's perfect for night stays bar.b.q and bonfire. We went into a society where there were lots of huts and security was good. Really liked it.
Ali B — Google review
If you're looking for a peaceful coastal escape near Karachi, French Beach is a hidden gem worth exploring. Nestled between Hawkesbay and Paradise Point, this private beach offers a cleaner, more serene experience compared to most public beaches in the city. The best part? The water here is surprisingly clear blue, especially on sunny days — a rare sight near Karachi. The sand is smooth and clean, giving a refreshing break from the usual trash-filled shorelines of the city’s more crowded beaches. French Beach is known for its secluded vibe. Since it’s privately managed, you’ll need to rent a hut in advance, which also means fewer people and a more peaceful atmosphere. It’s a great spot for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing under the sun with friends or family. Just be sure to bring your own food, water, and supplies, as there are no commercial shops or stalls nearby. Also, mobile signals may be weak — which can be either a hassle or a blessing, depending on how much you want to disconnect. Highly recommended for clean water, clear sand, and quiet vibes — just plan ahead!

Beautiful beach to visit. It is around an hour drive from the main city but worth driving all the way. Clean and peaceful beach to be at sunset. If you are visiting karachi, this is a place you must go. And bring your own snacks and food if you plan to spend the whole day and please don’t leave any rubbish. Help make this place stay clean and beautiful as it is now.
Arslan — Google review
Quite disappointed to see the way this once beautiful French beach is littered, polluted and violated. All areas behind the hut are full of mess and garbage. Zero maintenance has been carried out by concerned authority. Although stone full of reefs us a unique feature of this beach. It receives low wave current and low wind pressure.
Ghulam S — Google review
It’s the best beach that I visited during my trip to Karachi. The view was straight out of an Australian beach with blue-green seas and golden sand and the rocky terrain. Only issue was oil spill in the water so I didn’t get into the water to avoid any skin reaction /allergy. But the view was awe-struck
Waleed K — Google review
Loved the place but the drawback is that it's not available to general public. People who have reference can visit the place. They usually have private huts. It's a rocket beach and it's good for snorkeling.

Park & ride
Bahria Adventure Land is a must-visit in Karachi, offering affordable fun for both kids and adults. Located within Bahria Town on the outskirts of the city, it provides an escape from urban hustle. The park features thrilling rides and family-friendly attractions, catering to visitors of all ages. While ticket prices are reasonable and include unlimited rides, food options are limited. Despite this, it's a fantastic experience for friends and families looking to enjoy quality rides and water activities.
Good experience with family. Cost is also ok as compared to other adventure park. Not able to go to water park but it look good. Lot of people at water park . My daughter enjoyed a lot . Have fun day. Full of excitement and joy. Will love to go again and again .

The park & Is it for you: It's quite good, well maintained with many things for almost all age group people. Adventure and normal rides: There are multiple normal and adventure based rides. You may skip 2-3 adventurous rides. While can enjoy others, with good food choices within. Water park: Small Waive island with locker along with few water slides - fun for people though. It is Value for money
Sheraz A — Google review
It was a lovely experience. If you want a place to enjoy rides with friends, family or kids, then you should try this at least once. The ticket was Rs.3000, but that made all the rides free (claw, Sindbad, Aladdin, power drop, roller coaster, dragon ship, etc) There were clean washrooms and prayer area for both female and male. Would recommend going on a weekday since it will be less crowded
Rabia Z — Google review
Visited Bahria Adventure Land with family on a Sunday, got there early but still ended up standing in line for about 30 minutes just to buy the entry tickets. Wasn’t expecting such a rush that early in the day. Once inside, the park felt surprisingly spacious and clean, despite the large number of visitors and cars outside. The open layout helped manage the crowd quite well. The wave pool was definitely one of the highlights, lots of fun and a good way to cool off. But the biggest challenge was the changing area. For the number of visitors, the handful of changing rooms just aren’t enough. Long wait times and lack of space made it a bit of a hassle. The amusement rides section had its own set of challenges. Popular rides like the roller coaster, bumper cars, and sky drop had massive queues, with a wait time of at least 30 minutes for each. The crowd management made it worse, very few operators handling too many tasks alone, and lots of people breaking queues, which led to arguments and even a few fights near some rides. Having additional staff at each ride to manage boarding and maintain queues would go a long way in improving the overall experience. Overall, it was a good day out, but considering the premium pricing, the park really needs to streamline its ticketing process and ride operations. I’d definitely recommend visiting on a weekday to avoid the weekend rush and the long wait times. 🅿️ Plenty of parking available in the parking lot outside. ♿️ Wheelchair accessible, but most rides are not suitable for wheelchair users.
Abbas A — Google review
Bahria Adventure Land is a great place to enjoy with family and friends! There are many fun rides and attractions for all ages, and the best part is that all of the games and rides are included in the entry ticket, so you can enjoy a lot without extra charges. I had a really fun time there. However, the food inside is quite expensive, so it's something to keep in mind. Overall, it's a fun and exciting place to spend the day!

Bahria Town Adventure Land blew me away! 🎢 The rides were pure adrenaline, the park was spotless, and there were barely any lines. It’s so huge that even after 7 full hours, we couldn’t cover two sections! I laughed all day, ended up at Surfers’ Spot, and stayed till closing — the staff had to pull me out! 😂 If you want thrills, fun, and memories you won’t forget, this is THE place! 🔥🎉

From roller coasters to water rides and family attractions, every ride is designed with safety and fun in mind. The staff is courteous and professional, ensuring smooth operations and guiding visitors politely. The ambiance is vibrant, and the attention to detail in the park’s theme truly enhances the overall experience. It’s a great place for a day out with family or friends, especially for kids who love adventure and excitement. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun-filled, safe, and memorable day in Karachi!

Bahria Adventure land is the best amusement & Waterpark in karachi. The ticket price is not cheap, but it's totally worth it keeping in mind that all the rides, water slides, wave pool, kids' playzone, Dino park, train tour and much more are included in the ticket. It definitely needs to take care of the washrooms and toilets better as it was super dirty even though we visited on the weekdays. The water of the Waterpark is not so clean but not super dirty as well. If you are coming for Waterpark as well, then plan to come early around 3 PM, so you can enjoy rides and Waterpark fully. There is one splash park with tunnel and spiral slides, water showers and water buckets, and shallow water for kids. For adults and everyone else, there is a wave pool, which is super fun. There are lockers available along with changing rooms and showers after water activities. Try visiting the park on weekdays to avoid crowds and queues on the rides. There are many restaurants and cafes inside the park. Food and edibles are strictly not allowed as the security checks all the bags on the entrance via walk through gates.

The Pakistan Air Force Museum, located on Shahrah-e-Faisal near PAF Base Faisal, offers an impressive display of aircraft, radars, missiles, and wartime relics, including the Vickers Viking used by Quaid-e-Azam and an Indian Gnat captured in 1965. The museum’s galleries effectively highlight PAF’s history, achievements, and heroes.

"The Pakistan Air Force Museum in Karachi is a must-visit destination! It's an excellent place to learn about the history and achievements of the Pakistan Air Force. The museum is highly informative, with a vast collection of aircraft, memorabilia, and interactive exhibits that showcase the PAF's rich heritage. It's particularly great for kids who are interested in aviation and the PAF's history. A highlight of the museum is the display of remnants from the Indian fighter plane shot down during the 27th February incident, featuring the remains of the aircraft and a display of the events surrounding Abhinandan's capture. I highly recommend the PAF Museum to anyone interested in aviation, history, or the Pakistan Air Force."

Hawks Bay Beach in Karachi offers a peaceful escape from the city with its clear waters and sandy shoreline. It's a good spot for families and friends to enjoy a relaxed picnic or a swim. However, the beach lacks proper maintenance and cleanliness in some areas. There are limited facilities like washrooms or food stalls nearby. That's such a wonderful and knowledgeable experience to go there....a very thoughtful and beautiful place for the kids also.. Firstly no issue with the entrance or a long wait system. This place is so good and motivated for the elder kids also to go that knowledgeable place and also keep enjoying. The best part is museum area and especially a science department, also there is a large aquarium area. Best experience was to enter the submarine, it was scary and amazing at the same time. There was am aircraft as well which was used by Qaid e azam. My kids enjoy with the ducks also, they are so beautiful. You can also go to play area not much toys except the jumping. There is a small canteen area.

Kids loved the aquarium, model ships, and aircraft on display. There’s even boating, a tuck shop, and open grassy areas to relax. What really stood out was how well everything is maintained. Located in Karachi on Stadium Road, the Pakistan Maritime Museum is a captivating destination for anyone interested in the country's naval history and maritime achievements. Established in 1997, this sprawling museum covers an area of 28 acres and offers a comprehensive look at Pakistan's naval forces and their contributions over the years. With a combination of indoor exhibits, outdoor displays, and interactive features, the museum provides an educational and enjoyable experience for visitors of all ages. Historical Exhibits The museum’s extensive collection of exhibits makes it a standout attraction. One of the major highlights is the decommissioned PNS Hangor (S131), a Daphné-class submarine that played a crucial role during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War by sinking the Indian naval vessel INS Khukri. The opportunity to explore this submarine up close offers an intriguing glimpse into naval warfare from that era. Another important exhibit is the PNS Mujahid (M164), a minesweeper that was instrumental in ensuring safe naval passages. Visitors can step inside these vessels and see firsthand the conditions aboard these maritime giants. The museum also features a Breguet Atlantic aircraft, which was used for maritime patrols and reconnaissance missions. Additionally, the museum showcases a Westland Lynx Helicopter, Wooden Barge, and several other naval artifacts, all of which provide visitors with a comprehensive understanding of the naval forces' evolution over time. Interactive Galleries The museum is home to several themed galleries that are both informative and engaging. The Former Chiefs of Pakistan Navy Gallery displays personal belongings, uniforms, and photographs of the country's past naval leaders. This gallery not only offers insight into their personal lives but also highlights their significant contributions to the Navy and the nation. Another standout feature is the Karachi Harbour Gallery, which presents charts, maps, and models of Karachi’s harbor, illustrating its development over the years. This gallery also includes a painting of the iconic Manora Fort and its lighthouse, adding a historical touch to the exhibit. The Science Gallery provides a fun and interactive experience, especially for children. It includes various working models and hands-on displays of maritime equipment and technology. Visitors can learn about the science behind naval operations in an engaging manner. Meanwhile, the Aquarium Gallery adds a natural dimension to the museum’s offerings, with live aquariums and murals showcasing the diverse marine life of the region. Outdoor Attractions Outside the main museum building, the grounds are home to several open-air exhibits, including military vehicles, naval vessels, and aircraft. The PNS Hangor Submarine and other ships are displayed outdoors for visitors to explore. A standout feature is the lighthouse replica, which offers a panoramic view of the surrounding park and the museum itself. The outdoor space also includes a lake where visitors can enjoy boat rides, adding a recreational element to the visit. Family-Friendly Facilities The museum caters to families, with amenities such as a Dolphin Show, where professional trainers showcase dolphins performing various tricks. This is particularly popular with children, providing both entertainment and education. There’s also a kids’ play area featuring swings, slides, and trampolines, ensuring that younger visitors have a fun experience. Additionally, the museum has a food zone that offers a variety of food options, including local favorites like biryani and snacks. For those interested in unique souvenirs, the handicraft shops offer a range of traditional and handmade items, with proceeds benefiting the families of martyred officers. Visitor Information The museum is open daily, with the following timings: Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM Ticket prices are affordable, with general entry priced at PKR 60,

The park covers 148 acres and offers various attractions such as a zoo, chairlift, boating lake, mini-golf course, and go-kart track. Visitors can also explore a natural forest area to observe different species of animals and birds in their natural habitat.

Visited Safari Park last weekend and had a lovely time! The chairlift was a highlight, offering breathtaking views of the park and the city beyond. The kids enjoyed the adventure zone while the swan lake and elephant enclave were peaceful spots to relax. Some areas could use better upkeep, but overall, it’s a great place to spend a day with family. Would recommend packing some snacks and going early to avoid the crowds!

They have developed the park a lot in these few years!! A good place for kids with all the variety of activities and food stalls around! One could easily spend a good quality time with family! The rides are a bit expensive for the general public otherwise its good!! My daughter tried the zipline and I must say all safety precautions were taken and quite nicely maintained. A lot of other activities are there for all age group and do bring your walking shoes with you!

Safari Park Karachi is one of the most popular recreational destinations in the city, offering a mix of natural beauty, wildlife, and outdoor fun for visitors of all ages. Spread over a vast area in Gulistan-e-johar, it serves as a refreshing escape from the hustle and bustle of Karachi’s busy life. The park’s main attraction is its wide-open safari area where visitors can see animals like lions, deer, zebras, and ostriches from a safe distance. Although the concept of a “drive-through safari” sounds exciting, the actual experience can vary depending on maintenance and animal visibility. Apart from the wildlife section, Safari Park features large green lawns, walking and jogging tracks, boating facilities, and picnic spots that make it ideal for families. The cable car ride gives a beautiful panoramic view of the park and nearby areas, which is especially enjoyable for children. There are also food stalls and small cafeterias, although the quality and cleanliness can be inconsistent. On weekends and holidays, the park gets quite crowded, so it’s best to visit early in the morning or on weekdays for a calmer experience. The entry fee is affordable, making it accessible to most people. However, one area that needs improvement is maintenance — better cleanliness, more shaded seating, and well-kept animal enclosures would greatly enhance the visitor experience. Overall, Safari Park Karachi is a nostalgic and enjoyable place, perfect for a family outing, morning walk, or school picnic. It combines elements of nature, adventure, and relaxation in one spot. With a little more care and modernization, it has the potential to become one of the finest recreational parks in Pakistan once again.

Beautiful green spaces and a lovely atmosphere, but unfortunately, the park's cleanliness is a major letdown. There's litter and trash scattered around, which takes away from the overall experience. Bagh Ibne Qasim is one of the largest parks in Pakistan and South Asia, covering an impressive 130 acres (0.53 square kilometers). Located near Clifton Beach in Karachi, it offers lush green lawns, walking paths, and a peaceful environment, making it an ideal spot for evening walks, family picnics, and leisure time. The park was inaugurated by President Pervez Musharraf on February 27, 2007, as part of the Clifton Beach Development Project. It was built on the site of the former Toyland Theme Park, which was demolished to make way for this expansive green space. Bagh Ibne Qasim is named in honor of Muhammad Bin Qasim, the 8th-century Muslim general who led the conquest of Sindh. The park also hosts cultural events, festivals, and public gatherings, adding vibrancy to its serene surroundings. While the sea view adds a unique charm, some areas could benefit from improved maintenance. Managed by park authorities, it remains a popular destination for families and visitors, offering a mix of natural beauty, history, and recreational facilities.

Beautiful park, full of potential but deserted and has no attractions or facilities. This park seems like a relic from a lost era, parts of its structure are atleast 100 years old, and some parts are broken and unmaintained, the grass is well maintained, there is no modern activity such as children play areas, excersize or fitness groups etc, and it seems no body comes here, its suspended in time. You can come here and think about the past and the future, and hope for a better tomorow and return from here with mixed feelings on how this place could have been, had there been better governments here...

The park also features a 4D cinema and a food court, making it an ideal spot for families to enjoy quality time together.
Its fun here and the rides are nice. bands are cheap too even the rides as well. the food was great here too, though there should be regulation for underage kids not allowed on some extreme rides, on one of the rides a girl passed out so this must be be looked at. other than that will recommend coming here at least once.

Pros: 1- very economical . Only 700 rupees band can give access to 80% rides 2- some rides are still fun. 3- added an extreme section as well. 4- rides for all kids ages and adults 5- an indoor play area which also requires a 700 rupees band but only for kids under 5. Cons: 1- some rides still look scary i.e. break dance or. Log slide and need further safety precautions. 2- dinning options need more variety and class. 3- average indoor play area. 4- cleanness is not up to the mark. The responsibility lies with both visitors and staff.

Super Space is a newly opened indoor amusement park in Karachi, conveniently located at Ocean Towers. It offers a variety of high-tech VR games and recreational activities suitable for all ages. Visitors can enjoy attractions like the battle station, haunted house, dodgem car, laser maze, and motion rides. The park also features a food court for refreshments. With affordable entry prices and the option to purchase wristbands for unlimited fun, Super Space provides an enjoyable experience for friends and families alike.
A great indoor amusement for kids of all ages. Not very big but it has a lot to offer. A few small rides, dodging cars, haunted house, laser gun fight, VR show, and kid's most favourite "soft play area" which is quite big. They also have food available including biscuits, chips, jellies and some fast food as well. It may be a little expensive for an average family but they offer discounts in many forms. Like currently they offer 30% off to the kids whose birthday is in July. They also offer 50% off on K Electric app, but for just one person. We went there on Monday. Initially it was not very crowded but later it was. I have heard that it is very crowded on weekends. So I will suggest going on weekdays Overall it's a good place where your kids can spend 4-5 hours without getting bored.
Farzand S — Google review
I went there with my friends on Wednesday, it wasn't crowded. The entry fee is 50 per person other than this. We got 5 bands for 4k in which we had: -Karaoke: THE BEST 10/10 - Motion ride: idk what was wrong with their glasses. They were so blurred. -Lazer maze: 10/10 - Battle Station: we had to wait too long for our turn but totally worth it. - Dodgem car: It's so fun we had it twice. -Haunted house: i love the mirror maze in it. Recommend!
Rabia S — Google review
This place is good for kids but for teens and adults, it not having enough space or enough rides in it. Entry fee is Rs.50/person. Wristband costs 1800/person. Card costs free, you can recharge the card again and again. The prices of the rides are worth it. If I talk about the overall experience it’s better and worth it. Kids enjoyed alot.
Mohammad M — Google review
Utterly disappointing laser tag experience. Most of the guns were completely faulty — not firing, not registering hits — basically useless. We complained right away, and while the staff swapped some guns at first, the replacements were just as bad. After that, they refused to help and told us they couldn’t do anything. Ridiculous. We paid for a full session, and several players couldn't even participate properly because of broken equipment. The staff was unhelpful and dismissive. Complete waste of time and money. Would not recommend unless they fix their equipment and train their staff to take responsibility.

Overall, it was a disappointing visit, and I chose not to go back.

50Rs is an entry ticket. Then, every ride has its price, starting from 100 to 200 and so on. The place is good, neat and clean, plus it has a prayer area too. Staff is well educated and helpful.

Not bad. Good place at night time with family especially children. You have to pay entering tickets and then you have to buy card for different entertainment inside the chunky monkey. They have facility of card recharging. One buyed card can be used multiple times after multiple recharges.

I recently visited Chunky Monkey Amusement Park in Karachi. One thing that stood out was their basement area with its multi-color disco lighting – a perfect backdrop for some Instagram-worthy photos. However, I couldn't help but feel a bit let down by the park's offerings. The pricing seemed quite steep, considering the limited value it provided. Most of the games were outdated, and to make matters worse, many of the controllers were broken. I had my heart set on trying out the bumper cars, but they turned out to be disappointingly old and had faulty controls. There is no maintenance in the park i guess. The entry fee alone set me back around 500, and on top of that, I had to purchase recharge cards for the rides. It seemed like the park's position as the only amusement park in Karachi allowed them to charge such high prices. Frankly, it left me questioning whether it was worth the expense. My experience was decent, mainly because I was looking for a way to kill time conveniently. The proximity to my gym played a role in my decision to visit. However, if it weren't for that, I wouldn't have planned to go there. I hope that they takes steps to improve its offerings. Updating the games and ensuring that all the equipment is in good working condition would make a significant difference. Until then, I can't wholeheartedly recommend it as a go-to amusement park in Karachi.

It was a good place for kids. They enjoyed a lot.

One of my most cherished childhood memories is visiting two parks that were close to each other—Nisar Shaheed Park and Chunky Monkey Park. Coming from a middle-class family, these parks were the perfect spots for us to relax and enjoy a bit of leisure. After performing the Maqrib prayer, we would often walk to Nisar Shaheed Park, which was a peaceful retreat with natural beauty. It felt like an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The park, surrounded by greenery, was an ideal place for nature lovers, offering a tranquil environment to reconnect with nature and find inner peace. On the other hand, if we were in the mood for a more lively experience, we would visit Chunky Monkey Park. Located just a short walk away from Nisar Shaheed Park, Chunky Monkey was always filled with excitement. It was a popular spot for families and friends to gather, enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, and indulge in a delicious menu. Whether it was grabbing a bite or just enjoying the lively crowd, Chunky Monkey Park had something for everyone, especially if you loved being around people and relishing tasty food

It's nothing the same anymore. But they do have children rides, and 2 to 3 big rides for adults. Have food stalls inside. You can buy a band of 1000Rs for 2 hours for unlimited rides or can get points in your chunky monkey card, the card is 100rs, and you can add how much you want. No crowd, nothing. You can go whenever you want. It's also empty.

Although they said it's opened till 12 AM. But they close park at 11 they need to up their service. The rides there are just fine and ticket price is affordable. It's a fine place. Just make sure to be there before 11

Karachi Zoo, also known as Karachi Zoological Garden, is a beloved attraction in the heart of Karachi, Pakistan. Spanning 33 acres, it houses a diverse array of wildlife from around the globe. It's a popular spot for both locals and tourists and is especially favored by families with children due to its affordable tickets and abundant entertainment options. This renowned destination is a must-visit when exploring Karachi's famous places.
It was my 1st visit to Karachi Zoo I was disappointed with the reviews but wanted my toddler to see the elephant so we visited…. Overall experience was ok not too bad not too good… definitely it needs maintenance and cleaning… it needs more animals as many of the spaces were empty…. I don’t know still the crocodiles are there or not but we didn’t find them because their area was also empty. Most of the animals were only one in their specie. Indeed animals need more care which i found nil. Aquarium? Newly built? It was just ok not as big as the people were saying… it has a ticket of 50 Rs. It’s a small room with eight tanks of different aquatic species. I heard about their eye catching food street but it was normal food vendors but the food was good The elephant because of which we visited… loved that interaction, will definitely visit again to meet the elephant! We love our country so requesting the authorities to please maintain such places and make them attractive not with the rides n etc but with the same concept …. ZOO!

Whatever there is to see, you have to first look at doubled wired cages reinforced as if it houses a fercious beast. And what is inside? Some harmless finch, macaw, peacock, or in the case of 3 or 4 cages, pigeons. Without fail, the cages are dusty, barren of any enrichment or toys for the animals, even without proper lighting for the poor creatures. I must say I entered with higher spirits than I left. The chimpanzees and lions were lying in one spot with lassitude and boredom. The two lemurs had ragged fur. One white lioness had obvious skin disease. It was a depressing experience. Only the tortoises and birds seemed like they were having a reasonable time. All the other animals need plants, real trees inside their cages to climb upon, they need proper lights, appropriate toys. Until then this is not an animal zoo. It's an animal prison.
Hafsa M — Google review
Zoo is same as old style only do paints on different locations and grills; Entry fee is Rs. 50 per person for elders and kids same. There are many of the cages with no many animals inside. Bad Cleaning need to improve too much to match with nature with more care of animals. Many of animals which are in cages need medication, vaccination, and proper fresh food. I can say park look with low or no maintenance with a few Animals and dirty or unclean rides for kids. We are unable to see animals inside the cage because of bad cage grill and too small vision from barriers. Increase in food carts, stalls and shops but cleaning is not proper even they are not managing. After the rain you can come for only green look inside which you can not get outside of Zoo. The one good thing about the ZOO which attract me too much the new opening of the SAFARI looks at the Elephant place. The open place for the animals and the humans to interact with each other without cages. This is the most appealing thing and for this per elder fee is Rs. 100 and for kids Rs. 50. It is the place which is quite clean because of new area and well manage which attract me too much. You can say whole ZOO is at one side and this place at other side. This new open SAFARI area will win if it remain same with same maintenance with cleaning.
Truth D — Google review
A best botanical but worst zoological garden. Literally I was feeling empathy for those poor animals which were bounded in their enclosure as a single unit. It should be either closed or properly maintained. One thing which appreciates is the new built aquarium with good infrastructure and new aqua species but again the old one is in pathetic condition
Saima S — Google review
Bery beautiful but also so disappointing because they are not taking good care of it and it also have no elephants, girrafes, which is i think the most important part of a zoo for kids and also much more were not available to take a look, but there are lot of birds, monkeys, baboon, tortise, alligator, deers, lion, tiger and white tiger. By the way entry fee was 50 per head
Shah N — Google review
Well I visited Karachi Zoo but the ex perience was not good not bad. No one cares about cleaning. The Zoo authorities don't care about the animals they need clean places. The smell distracted people they need to clean everyday and properly. Well I make some videos which I'm going to share with you.
Ismail K — Google review
Entry fee is 50 rupees. Not many animals inside — feels more like a park with a few Animals and rides for kids. Most families come for the rides, not for animals. Food stalls are there but not very clean or tasty. Good part is some greenery compared to the rest of Karachi, but if you want to see animals you’ll be disappointed.

Sunday Bazaar Aladdin Park is a bustling marketplace in Karachi that offers a wide range of goods, from clothing to household items. It's a popular spot for locals and visitors alike, providing an authentic experience of the city. While parking can be challenging and amenities are limited, the market is known for its reasonable prices and diverse selection of products. Whether you're looking for branded items or everyday essentials, Sunday Bazaar Aladdin Park has something for everyone at economical prices.
A market is set up here on Wednesdays, and it's better to visit on this day instead of Sunday if you want better prices. However, if you plan to go on Sunday, the best time for good deals is either early morning or after Maghrib prayers.

Sunday Bazaar at Alladin Park is located in the heart of Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Karachi, making it accessible for a large number of residents from surrounding areas. The bazaar is held in the large grounds of Alladin Amusement Park (which has been non-operational for amusement rides in recent years), repurposed to accommodate hundreds of vendors every Sunday. Variety of Items: The bazaar is known for its huge variety of goods, both new and second-hand. You can find: Clothes (used branded clothes, new local garments, children’s wear) Shoes (second-hand branded, unbranded, sportswear) Household items (decor, crockery, kitchenware) Electronics & accessories (mobile accessories, chargers, tools) Books & toys (old books, school supplies, used toys) Fresh produce & groceries (vegetables, fruits, spices) Furniture & home appliances (limited stalls) It's a treasure trove for bargain hunters and those who love thrifting. Pricing: Prices are negotiable—haggling is part of the experience. You’ll often find items much cheaper than market rates, especially for second-hand goods. Some stalls offer fixed-price sales too.

It's many steps away from the parking.

I will be honest and unbiased. I have been to many different places, but I have not seen anything like this. On the one hand, local color. In the evening, there is a local show with numerous quad bikes, buggies hung with colored lanterns, loud music, camels, horses, a lot of street food, but all this is in the epicenter of dirt, terrible smell, smoke and dysentery. The sea is incredibly dirty, as is the beach itself. Going into the water is not just not recommended, it is objectively just dangerous. Locals love this place and in the evenings a huge number of people gather here, I would say the whole of Karachi at sunset is located here. Think before you go here!!! Here you feel a huge number of eyes on yourself and the feeling of insecurity does not leave you until you get to your hotel with armed guards 😁 in general, entertainment for travelers who are definitely looking for adrenaline

The center also features mind games to boost IQ levels and learning capacity in children. With its well-designed experiential learning environment focused on STEM subjects, visitors can explore different topics across multiple floors.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An absolute gem in the heart of Karachi! Magnify Science is hands down one of the most amazing places to visit in the city. It's a paradise for curious minds—offering mind-boggling experiences in science, astronomy, math, and the human body. Each floor is packed with interactive exhibits that make learning not only fun but unforgettable. From exploring how the brain works to uncovering the marvels of space, everything is designed to spark wonder. The way they’ve made science come alive is truly beautiful—and yes, the food is great too! You'll need at least 5 hours to explore everything properly, and trust me, every minute is worth it. Whether you're a science enthusiast or just someone who loves fun and learning, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

The perspective room, the earthquake experience, visual illusion and sound area was outstanding. I request the organizers to add more attraction to media area. Add some readily available photographs in attires for families and children With reasonable charges. Some of the equipments were out of order. Best thing was that I noticed many of the employees were specially abled and were handling well. It's a good initiative to adjust all.

We spend 4 hours here or even longer if you want to try every activity. Totally worth it. One more feedback about the staff and hygiene protocols: Everything was well maintained, and the staff were very helpful in guiding us through different zones. The centre is clearly managed with care and attention to detail.

It is a good place. But unfortunately, we as a nation most of the times do not utilize good to get the maximum benefit positivily out of any thing. From top to bottom the centre is completely filled with science in practicality, to learn and experience it by interaction. But, most of us visitors dealt with this magnificent place as an "Amusement Park", missing its true value the benefits it offers. But - Thumbs up for the foundation who set the place up.

I went to this place around 2 on a weekday, it wasn't crowded and was very peaceful. For the garden and foodology you have to get a ticket of 100 rupees, for other floors and things ticket prices are different. We had their Alfredo pasta which had too much herbs that it was making the taste bitter (3/10). Pizz ( supreme) (8/10) Mint lemonade (10/10) Garden and other areas are very beautiful and so peaceful. If you wanna go into a tree house, have slides and swings and other fun activities, this place is perfect for all ages. Recommended!

It's one of my most fav place in karachi and I am amazed to see that I didn't post any review earlier despite I have been there like 6 or 7 times. If you’re in Karachi and haven’t visited TDF MagnifiScience Centre yet, you’re missing out big time. Unlike traditional museums, MSC encourages touching, experimenting, and questioning, making science tangible and fun. over 400 hands-on exhibits spread across four floors, where kids (and adults) can touch, play, and experiment with everything. My kids love this place! You'll need a minimum of 5 to 6 if you want to explore all exhibits. The Ocean odyssey was added last year in 2024 and this is just stunning. there are two types of passes general and extended. General pass is limited to ground plus 2 floors and extended pass allows you to visit 3rd n 4th floor which costs extra 500 rupees. General pass ticket price on weekdays is Rs 800 and 900 on weekends (age 2+) .

Parking can be tricky on busy days and there are no proper food stalls inside, so you have to bring your own snacks or grab something nearby. Overall it’s a refreshing escape from the city noise.

Hilal Park in DHA Karachi is a well known park. Its photos and short reels online make it look inviting, so I decided to visit for a walk and jog. There’s plenty of parking space in front of the park, and the entrance view is pleasant. However, in my experience, this park is not suitable for walking or jogging. The walking track, about half a kilometer long, is narrow and elevated. There are too many walkers, making jogging or running difficult. But the bigger issue is that the track is made of cemented tiles, which is unhealthy for regular walking or running. Hard surfaces like cement put pressure on the knees, ankles, heels, and lower back, which can lead to joint and posture problems over time. I was surprised that the park administration seems unaware of such an important health concern. Hilal Park is a nice place to sit, meet friends, or relax but for those who want to walk or jog, it’s better to choose another park.

Excellent family park. Well maintained. Small but good for walk and light jog. It has few rides for children as well.

Hill Park, situated atop a hill in Karachi, spans 62 acres with only a quarter of its area developed. It features fast food centers, restaurants, and amusement parks. The park's artificial lake adds to its allure as a popular tourist spot. Families can enjoy the stunning city view and attractions for both kids and adults. Additionally, it is one of the few dog-friendly parks in Karachi.
Yesterday we went there with our kids. They enjoyed alot in the funcity and rides are all fun for the whole family its the perfect place for the families to spend a day and relax in the park.

Pros: 1- fun city is a nice little addition 2- decent free play zone for kids 3- the entry to fin zone is only 30 rupees and rides are 100. Which is economical 4- relatively clean 5- located next to great tipu sultan food street. 6- not over crowded. Cons: 1- need more activities 2- food zone inside the park is average. 3- parking area is very dark. Needs more lights
Zeeshan A — Google review
Rides were reasonable, but time of each ride needs a revision. Improvements in the vicinity is required so that more consumers can be catered. I am thankful for the existing services, they were enough for us to enjoy a day out. Thankfully no unreasonable people were there who spoil a family day out. Though near the park and sight seeing side, massive up gradation is needed, and the ducks deserve some clean water, its pond seems like climate and environment hazard. Keep improving.

Hill Park has always been one of my favorite places in Karachi, and I have been visiting it since my childhood. Over the years, it has remained a special landmark in the city — a place where families, children, and fitness lovers come together to enjoy greenery, open spaces, and peace away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Growing up, I remember the joy of picnics, boating in the lake, and watching the city lights from the hilltop. Even today, those experiences still feel refreshing and memorable. The park is spacious and well-suited for people of all ages. Its walking and jogging tracks are popular with fitness enthusiasts, while the play areas and open lawns provide children with a safe and enjoyable environment. The small lake adds charm and is a highlight for many visitors. The elevated hilltop view is truly unmatched, offering a panoramic perspective of Karachi that feels calm and inspiring, especially in the evenings. That said, the park would benefit greatly from improved maintenance and more consistent cleanliness. With better management, Hill Park has the potential to reach international standards as a public recreational space. Overall, Hill Park remains one of Karachi’s best and most nostalgic destinations for me. Having visited it since my childhood, I can confidently say it continues to be a wonderful spot for families, nature lovers, and anyone looking to relax in a peaceful setting within the heart of the city.

The Ocean Mall in Karachi is a top retail destination offering a wide range of clothing, shoes, accessories, and more from popular brands. The mall features a clean and family-friendly environment with separate prayer areas and ample parking. Kids can enjoy various entertainment options like bounce houses and play areas while adults shop. The mall also boasts an impressive food court on the fourth floor and upscale dining options on the fifth floor. Visitors can expect a pleasant shopping experience with diverse brand offerings all under one roof.
We had the best time celebrating my friend's birthday at Ocean Mall. First, we had food. Ramen and Burger Boss, so good as always, then we cut the cake we got from outside. And at last we went to the super space. It's up to you, so we did battle station and karaoke only. It's great to have so many things at one place.
Rabia S — Google review
Visited Ocean Mall Karachi with my friend Ahmed Ali and had a great experience! The mall is clean, well-maintained, and has a wide variety of local and international brands. The food court offers a good selection of cuisines, and the overall ambiance is comfortable for families and friends. Parking was convenient, and security felt reliable. Definitely one of the best places in Karachi for shopping, dining, and spending quality time.

Ocean Mall in Karachi offers a fantastic blend of shopping, dining, and entertainment, making it a great destination for a day out. I recently enjoyed a visit there, starting with a delicious meal at Optop Meel. Their menu provided a great variety, and the food was satisfying. Afterward, the fun really began at Super Space. It's an excellent indoor amusement park with a diverse range of games and rides suitable for all ages. From classic arcade games to more thrilling attractions, there was plenty to keep us entertained. We particularly enjoyed the lively atmosphere and the chance to compete friendly. The highlight for me, though, was definitely the Horror House. It delivered exactly what it promised – a truly spooky and immersive experience that had us jumping and screaming (in a fun way, of course!). The special effects and performers created a genuinely chilling environment. Overall, Ocean Mall provides a well-rounded experience, perfect for families and friends looking for a good time.
Sajjad J — Google review
I absolutely loved this mall. Went with my parents and had the best time ever. The Air-conditioning was not exactly perfect ,but a huge relief from the Clubs and cafes for a while. The staff is forever friendly and its security is upto the mark. The shops spell style, design and loads of buying power, its well lit and elegantly set up. Mc Donalds stood empty and we tried a spicy Korean burger with fries from OPTP. Maybe more sofas for the elderly would draw in more crowds. Wanted to watch a movie but was immersed into drawing all my attention to the decorations of this tower, the stands with tall prices and watching exit signals in case of emergency situations. in all its granduer and splendor, the place stood out clean and friendly. Maybe more plants, a pretty looking waterfall ....and a resting area would help as well. The cleaners were super effecient but I really saw no wheelchairs .They must be available though but looks like we have a lot of fit people in this part of Pakistan. Everything was just right. The music hit just the right notes...neither too loud nor too low... Dining area was well organized too but I missed the Book store. The Italian ice cream corner caught my eye but we settled for tea instead. Really wanted Kashmiri tea. Coffee waghera reminded me of ' Wake up and smell the Coffee ' ...caught in my own world, I spilled my cup serving my parents but the Manager gave me a free refill. I wanted to buy my dad something but he just said lets head home, and we came back. Karachi is melting with hot and humid weather. A salute to the traffic officers who are brave enough to stand outside in this scorching sun. literally takes the life out of you. Cant think, cant write, migraines be the order of the day. I am thankful to Allah that in these blessed days before Eid ul Azha, I am able to make my parents happy. For me , thats all that matters. They are my ticket to Jannah. As for you guys reading this, just go there and be nice to people.Even a smile is charity. And... Happy shopping.

It's nice clean spacious, the parking lot is great and well maintained, the lobby entrance is also very pretty. The kids play zone GIGGLE TOWN is on GF the tickets are linked to PIKA BEAR, and similarly the play zone at the 4th floor Space Zone is linked to Jumping play area. These 4 play areas open at 2:00pm from Monday to Thursday and 3:00pm on Friday, Saturday, Sundays at 12:00pm. We checked out the space area but honestly didn't like it very much due to low light compact area. There is prayer area for men & women separately it was very spacious and clean. The mall itself is ok with most brands open its typical to all the other malls. The food court is not well constructed, confusing area usually food brands are all in line so you can see them from far but here you had one in one area then another far off place so it was like find your food. Overall ok place just from kids recreation places it's nothing special.

The Forum Shopping Mall in Karachi, located in Block 9 on Khayaban-e-Roomi, is a popular destination for high-end shopping and office spaces. Despite its smaller size compared to other malls, it is known for its pleasant ambience and top-tier services. The mall offers a variety of well-known chain stores for clothing and jewelry, as well as casual eateries and a supermarket.
Mall is now 23 years OLD, and people usually want to go to Dolmen Clifton or Luckyone. Still, if management gives good attention, then it can be converted into a best boutique mall in town.
Kamran H — Google review
The Forum is one of those malls in Karachi that's been around for a while, and it kind of feels like it. Located in a very busy area, it's a decent option if you need to run in, grab something from a specific store, and leave. The selection of brands is okay, mostly focused on popular local clothing brands like Khaadi, Gul Ahmed, and others. You can usually find what you need if you're looking for Pakistani high-street fashion. There's also a department store, which is convenient. For a focused shopping trip, it does the job. However, The Forum definitely shows its age compared to newer, bigger malls like Dolmen or Lucky One. It's much smaller, the layout feels a bit cramped, and the overall ambiance is just not as modern or exciting. The food court is very basic, with just a handful of the usual fast-food options. There aren't many entertainment choices either, so it's not really a place you'd go to hang out for a whole day. Parking can be a bit of a challenge depending on the time of day, but it's manageable. Overall, The Forum is an average mall. It's not a destination, but it's a perfectly functional place for targeted shopping if the stores you need are there and you want to avoid the massive crowds of the larger malls. It serves its purpose, but it's not particularly memorable.
Faddy K — Google review
It was nicely maintained with variety of offices, options to get things done. The building stairs are wide enough and lifts were sufficient to go up and dows. Nice mall.

It's really disappointing to see this place fall apart. The timeout food court used to be amazing which is not the case anymore. Only a handful of shops left, rest have closed. A shame not taken care of by the building management

I purchased a pair of slippers for Rs. 8,000 from this store, and they broke after just two uses. When I reached out to their team, I was told that "imported items have no warranty." For such an expensive product, this is extremely disappointing. There is no accountability or after-sales support. I expected much better quality and service for the price. I would not recommend buying from here . please think twice before spending your money.

Beach
Manora Beach, located in Karachi, is a popular tourist destination with modern facilities and a variety of dining options. It offers a peaceful retreat from the city's hustle and bustle, featuring clean shores and a serene atmosphere perfect for leisurely strolls. While it can get crowded during events, it remains relatively uncrowded compared to other spots. Visitors can enjoy the scenic drive to the beach and take advantage of the available seating areas and play spaces.
I recently visited Manora Beach in Karachi and thought to share my experience. At the start, there’s a toll point where they take a small entry fee. From that point, the road feels like a trip itself. On the right side, you can see a nice view of the sea, and on the left, it honestly feels like you’re heading to an island. There’s a huge mangrove forest along the left side which looked beautiful and untouched. On the right, there are lots of private cottages and resorts close to the shore. When we reached the main area, there was a paid parking spot, and before going to the main beach view, we had to buy entry tickets. The place was more organized than I expected. The beach was clean enough, though a bit crowded especially near the most popular viewing point. There were plenty of food stalls and small tuck shops selling snacks, tea, corn, and cold drinks — typical beach-style stuff. Some people were having BBQs too. Families were enjoying, kids playing, and the overall vibe was relaxed. It’s a good place if you want a change from the usual Clifton or Hawksbay scenes.
Zavi U — Google review
The Government of Sindh's initiative to promote tourism is truly commendable. However, is it solely the government's responsibility to keep the beach clean? No, it is our responsibility too. The same bag in which we bring fruits and food items should be used to collect our waste and disposed of in a dustbin. Strangely, this was my first visit to Manora Beach in nearly 35 years, but this time, the experience was different as we traveled there by road. First, we had to show our identity cards at the check post for entry before proceeding further. I also learned that carrying an original ID card is mandatory for visiting this beach, otherwise, visitors may be turned away. Many families were arriving at the beach with their Iftar meals, and most of them had booked gazebos where they planned to enjoy their Iftar. There is a dedicated 🅿️parking lot, with a parking fee of Rs. 100 per car, and the entry ticket to the beach costs Rs. 50 per person. The area is ♿accessibility-friendly, with a ramp for easy access, though I am unsure about the washroom facilities. Since the coastline is the same, the sea water appeared murky, perhaps due to the brown sandy beach. However, I was pleased to see efforts being made to maintain the area for tourism. As I mentioned earlier, keeping our beaches clean is not just the government's duty but ours as well. The waste we throw into the sea harms marine life, and we must take responsibility to protect our environment.

Manora Beach in Karachi is located a short distance from the main city. To reach there, you need to take a boat from one of the nearby beaches. These boats are well-designed, often decorated in the traditional Sindhi style, and usually have two floors. The boat journey takes about half an hour and can be slightly unpleasant due to the smell, but the destination makes it worthwhile. Once you arrive, you’ll need to take a van to reach Manora itself. Manora is a beautiful place, with scenic views and a relaxing atmosphere. Huts are available for rent, though they can be expensive and hard to secure due to the crowd. Overall, it’s a place worth visiting at least once in a lifetime.
Asif I — Google review
A Complete Guide to the Manora Beach Experience – A Hidden Gem in Karachi Karachi, being a coastal city, is home to several beautiful beaches, but Manora Beach stands out as a unique destination offering a blend of scenic beauty, history, and adventure. Having visited Manora Beach recently, I can confidently say it is one of the best places in Karachi for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy the tranquility of the Arabian Sea. Journey to Manora Beach Getting to Manora Beach itself is an experience. You can take the Manora Ferry from Keamari or travel via the Manora Drive, a recently constructed road that connects the mainland directly to the beach. I chose to go by ferry, and the boat ride was an adventure in itself. The sea breeze, the gentle waves, and the sight of the bustling Karachi port made the journey enjoyable. It felt like stepping into a different world, away from the city's chaotic traffic. The Beauty of Manora Beach Upon reaching, the first thing that struck me was the cleaner and more serene environment compared to other Karachi beaches. Unlike Clifton or Hawksbay, Manora Beach is less crowded, making it an ideal place for relaxation. The golden sand, blue waters, and rocky cliffs in some areas add to the natural beauty of the place. The waves are moderate, making it safe for swimming or just wading in the water. Things to Do at Manora Beach There’s plenty to do at Manora Beach, making it suitable for families, adventure seekers, and history lovers alike. 1. Beach Activities – You can enjoy camel rides, horse riding, beach volleyball, and even take a dip in the sea. The water here is relatively cleaner than other Karachi beaches. 2. Food and Refreshments – The beach has small food stalls offering fresh seafood, especially fried fish, which is a must-try. There are also tea stalls and vendors selling snacks like chana chaat and pakoras. 3. Water Sports & Boating – Recently, some operators have started offering jet skiing, boating, and speed boat rides, which add an adventurous element to the trip. 4. Exploring the Manora Island – One of the most unique things about Manora Beach is that it is located on an island with historical landmarks like the Manora Lighthouse, St. Paul’s Church, and the Old Hindu Temple of Varun Dev. The lighthouse, built during British rule, offers stunning panoramic views of the Arabian Sea and Karachi’s coastline. Manora Beach Development In recent years, the Sindh government has worked on Manora Beach Development, making it a more tourist-friendly destination. Proper seating areas, shaded gazebos, clean washrooms, and waste disposal bins have been added, making it much more convenient for visitors. Unlike other beaches in Karachi, where littering is a major issue, Manora Beach feels relatively well-maintained. Best Time to Visit I would recommend visiting in the early morning or evening to enjoy the sunrise or sunset, which is absolutely breathtaking. The cooler months (October to March) are ideal for a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Final Verdict Manora Beach is a hidden paradise in Karachi, offering a mix of nature, history, and adventure. Whether you want a peaceful beach day, explore historical sites, or indulge in seafood and water sports, Manora Beach has something for everyone. Unlike the busier Seaview or Sandspit, Manora provides a cleaner, more peaceful, and family-friendly environment. If you're looking for a short getaway without traveling far from Karachi, Manora Beach is definitely worth a visit. It has truly become one of my favorite beach spots, and I can't wait to return for another relaxing day by the sea.
Haidar- A — Google review
Manora Beach is a beautiful, secluded beach in Karachi. The area is dotted with mangroves and trees giving it an oasis-like feel. This little paradise on earth was once bustling with activity during the colonial era, but now only a few locals visit this spot for fishing or as a picnic spot. Manora Beach Park in Karachi is the ultimate seaside spot in Pakistan. It's been given a swanky makeover with all the modern amenities, making it a real crowd-pleaser for people from near and far. And, let's be honest, in a city like Karachi, where finding a calm, tidy location to relax can feel like a scavenger hunt, coming across Manora Beach Park is like finding a secret paradise away from the chaos.

Zoo
Danzoo in Bahria Town Karachi is a popular attraction for both tourists and locals. The zoo boasts a diverse range of animals, including lions, tigers, jaguars, zebras, deer, and giraffes. It prioritizes the health and well-being of its animal residents with robust enclosures for larger predators and herbivores to ensure safety for both visitors and animals.
Great zoo covering a large area. I recommend taking a picture of the guide map as soon as you enter and taking a buggy first from the left side of entrance. After a complete round of buggy you’ll get familiar with the place. After that, walk by foot to desired areas like the lion, tiger, black bear, and giraffe enclosures. The boating area is a must visit for relaxation. Plan your visit in the morning or afternoon for best experience.
Usman K — Google review
Danzoo is a well-established and very clean zoo, which makes it a comfortable and family-friendly destination. The enclosures for lions, big cats, and the variety of deer are well-maintained and available in good quantity, which is definitely the main attraction. However, the overall variety of animals is limited. Basic and commonly expected zoo animals such as elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, turtles, and several other wild species are missing. This makes the experience feel incomplete compared to what you’d expect from a full-fledged zoo. Another downside is that the ticket prices are quite high considering the limited number of animals on display. While the cleanliness and setup are commendable, adding more species and improving diversity would make the visit much more engaging and provide better value for money. Good for a short family outing, but not ideal if you’re expecting a complete zoo experience with a wide range of animals.
Humayoon A — Google review
Visited Danzoo at BTK recently and overall, it’s a solid family friendly destination.. clean environment, decent variety of animals, and a well maintained landscape!! The electric train and safari jeep rides are enjoyable, especially for children, and the general ambiance feels safe and relaxing. However, there are some practical aspects visitors should be aware of Be ready to walk a lot. The zoo is spread over a large circular layout with many small offshoot paths, and unfortunately, direction signs are minimal or confusing. You often end up walking in circles without knowing which animal or area is next. Outside food is strictly not allowed, and the internal food / snack options are limited .. so plan accordingly, especially if you have kids. Animal enclosures are heavily caged with 3 or 4 layers of grills in some places 🤦🏻‍♂️ making it almost impossible to take photos or even get a clear view of the animals… The design seems more focused on containment than visitor experience. While the animals appear generally well kept, the range could be expanded and the educational signage needs improvement to make the visit more informative. That said, it’s still one of the cleaner and more professionally managed recreational spots in Karachi. Worth visiting for families and nature lovers … just wear comfortable shoes, manage your expectations, and enjoy the fresh air. Would I go again? Yes, but I’d plan better for the walking and food limitations.

Great place to chill with family specially if you kids are animal lovers Huge place , meeting hygiene standards, ample parking space, friendly environment And have unique animals in the Zoo , they have Giraffe , Asian Tiger , White Loins ,a cute cub , different sacrifices of baboons , Peacocks, Dear and many more They take you a ride of the park too, but it's too fast to absorb any thing , better go walk and explore if you can. Though the Condiiton of literally all the Loin health looks concerning , they look dehydrated and hungry . Other than that , I like the peaceful environment

We recently visited Sunway Lagoon Water Park and had a truly wonderful experience. My kids were not feeling very well during the trip, and the staff went above and beyond to assist us. Their hospitality, kindness, and prompt support truly stood out and made a big difference in our day. A special thanks to the Manager, Naik Nawaz, who personally ensured we were comfortable and well taken care of. It’s rare to see such dedication, and we’re incredibly grateful. The park itself is very clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. It’s spacious, with plenty of shaded areas. There are a variety of attractions suitable for all age groups, from gentle water play areas for younger kids to thrilling slides and wave pools for older children and adults. We also really appreciated the separate area designated for ladies – a thoughtful and respectful feature that added to the comfort, privacy, and inclusiveness of the experience. The staff across the park were friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Safety measures were clearly in place. Overall, it was an outstanding visit. Sea-View Beach, nestled along the Clifton coastline in Karachi, is a vibrant and family-friendly destination that promises endless fun for visitors of all ages. This stunning stretch of shoreline invites you to dive into a world of activities, from swimming in the refreshing waters to leisurely walks on its soft sands. Families can create cherished memories as children explore their surroundings with buckets in hand, collecting seashells or crafting intricate sandcastles under the warm sun.
I had a fun and enjoyable time at Seaview Beach in Karachi! It's a great place to relax and spend time with family or friends. There are many fun activities available, like horse rides, camel rides, and more. The atmosphere is lively, especially in the evening, and the ocean view is beautiful. I really enjoyed my visit and would definitely recommend it to others looking for a fun beach experience in the city.

Karachi, Pakistan's stunning coastline, is crowned by the iconic Sea View, a breathtaking beachfront that offers mesmerizing views of the Arabian Sea. This picturesque destination is a magnet for locals and tourists alike, drawn by its natural beauty and exciting activities. Witness the awe-inspiring sunsets at Sea View Clifton as the sun dips into the Arabian Sea, casting a kaleidoscope of colors across the sky. Visitors can also enjoy horseback riding, camel rides, and leisurely boat cruises along the shore. Recent renovations have transformed the beach into a safer and more enjoyable hub, boasting modern walkways, lush gardens, and vibrant lighting. Whether you're a nature enthusiast, food lover, or thrill-seeker, Sea View Clifton has something for everyone.

I visited Sea View Beach in Karachi. The salty breeze hit my face as I walked barefoot on the wet sand. The horizon was painted in orange and pink, and the waves gently lapped at my feet. Families were flying kites, kids were laughing, and a few camels strolled along the shore offering rides. I was enjoying watching the city slowly turn golden in the evening light. It was peaceful, despite the noise and the crowd, there was something calming about the rhythmic sound of the waves.
Shahroz S — Google review
The sea breeze feels amazing, and it’s a great spot for a casual walk, photography, or simply sitting and enjoying nature. There are food stalls and snacks available nearby, but it’s best to carry water and keep the beach clean. I wish the authorities paid more attention to cleanliness and proper waste management, but overall, it’s a beautiful and relaxing spot to spend time with friends and family.
Ubaid — Google review
Clifton Sea View offers beautiful coastal views and cool sea breeze, but sadly, the area is poorly maintained. Garbage, pollution, and broken infrastructure are common issues. Public toilets, seating, and safety are lacking. Despite its natural charm, it fails to meet basic cleanliness and comfort standards for families and tourists. -

Imran R — Google review
After A & B comes the C and You see the Sea is Sea. I leave a question, why does sometimes brown, polluted water is omitted by the sea shores ? Is this bad garbage being thrown and not accepted by the sea ? Yes indeed. Nature is Alive. Water is Alive. The polluted water in Sea Swash to the shoreline is shouting at us and saying Oh You ( who believes itself to be greatest of the creatures) you are not doing doing well on and dealing with planet Earth. Well. Guess why the shores move too and fro ? Wave Action: Waves, generated by wind and storms, exert powerful forces on shorelines, carrying sediment and eroding the coast. Waves approaching at an angle cause longshore drift, moving sediment parallel to the shore. The swash (wave moving up the beach) carries sediment up the beach, while the backwash (wave moving back down) carries it back, often at a different angle, resulting in a zigzag movement of material. Shorebreak, where waves break directly on the beach, can cause significant erosion. 2. Currents: Ocean currents, both surface and deep-sea, can transport vast amounts of water and sediment, influencing shoreline movement. Longshore currents, generated by waves approaching the shore at an angle, move sediment along the coast. Tidal currents, generated by the rise and fall of tides, can also reshape shorelines, especially in inlets and estuaries. 3. Tides: Tides, caused by the gravitational pull of the moon and sun, move the shoreline in and out, creating daily fluctuations in the coastline. The extent of tidal influence (tidal range) varies depending on the relative positions of the sun, moon, and earth. 4. Sediment Supply: The availability of sediment (sand, gravel, etc.) plays a crucial role in shoreline stability. If more sediment is supplied than removed by erosion, the shoreline may advance (accrete). Conversely, if erosion exceeds sediment supply, the shoreline will retreat. Rivers, coastal erosion, and offshore sources can all contribute to the sediment supply. 5. Long-term and Short-term Changes: Shoreline changes can be categorized as long-term (over thousands of years), short-term (over several years), or episodic (due to single storm events). Sea-level rise, influenced by climate change, can contribute to long-term shoreline retreat. Storm events, such as hurricanes and typhoons, can cause significant and rapid shoreline changes due to high winds and large waves. The Hawks Bay line of the Arabian Sea coast is one of the cleanest beaches in the provincial capital, Karachi. All the beaches here have soothing brown sand and neat blue water. Sandspit beach is the nearest in that regard to reach by road. They have facilities of huts that can be rented for a day. Most of the huts are in good shape BUT ALWAYS CHECK FOR WATER FACILITY as this could be troublesome especially when you are with family & Must use Sun blog to protect. They’re open all day and tend to close at the sunset. However huts can be rented for night to have a party. Had an overall enjoyable experience at the beach. The cleanliness was commendable, creating a pleasant environment. However, the lack of price control on beach huts was noticeable, and the absence of other facilities was a drawback. Sandspit Beach Very nice track Roads are cleared to beach point Spot is clean and feeling like fresh environment Sea water was clear n clean. Manora Beach, also known as Manoro, is a collection of islands located on the Pakistani coastline by the Arabian Sea. It's a small peninsula connected to Karachi by a 12km causeway called Sandspit. The area is home to diverse wildlife, including the endangered green turtle. Visitors can enjoy sandy beaches and warm waters perfect for swimming. The beach offers clean facilities, ample parking, and nearby amenities like parks, temples, and churches.
I recently visited Manora Beach and was pleasantly surprised by the well-maintained public areas! The beach itself was clean and tidy, with clear signs of regular upkeep. The surrounding facilities, including the restrooms and food stalls, were also well-maintained and added to the overall positive experience. The beach itself is beautiful, with calm waters and soft sand. It's perfect for a relaxing day out with family or friends.

Manora Beach is a unique place in itself, but the real fun of enjoying it is during the weekdays rather than the weekends—because on weekends, it gets very crowded. Parking is far from the beach, and Zong signals don’t work well here. Right at the entrance, there’s an Imam Bargah, and at the check post, it’s mandatory for both ladies and gents to show their CNICs. If you really want to enjoy your visit, it's best to book a hut in advance. There are restaurants near the huts where you can easily get tea, biscuits, and cold drinks. Now, speaking of the sea—it’s beautiful and the water is fresh. You can’t go too far into it, but the evenings here are especially pleasant and worth experiencing.

The escape room experience was decent overall, but it had its flaws. We were a group of 8, which felt overcrowded for the small space. Especially with a mentioned room limit of 2-8 people. The second room we accessed was even more cramped, barely fitting 4 people. Despite the tight spaces, the puzzles were fun, and we managed to complete 80% of the challenges. However, the staff member who gave the briefing was a letdown. He was difficult to understand due to unclear speech and had a rude, condescending tone. When the session ended, his approach during the debrief felt a bit accusatory. Overall, while the activity itself was enjoyable, the staff's attitude left a negative impression.

I went on a tour of Karachi ('Hop On Hop Off Karachi Tour') on Sunday with Super Savari Express. We arrived at their office at 7:30 a.m. as instructed. But, the tour guides and other staff members arrived more than half an hour late. We were taken to 6 tourist destinations by the Super Savari team including to Empress Market, St Patrick's Church, TDF Ghar and Mohatta Palace. Mode of transport were minibuses which were clean and well maintained. Each bus was equipped with a tour guide who provided relevant information to the places we visited. We were provided with a hearty breakfast at a traditional 'dhaba' restaurant as well as some snacks and bottled water during the tour. The tour ended at 1:15 p.m. when we returned to Super Savari's office. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience and I recommend this tour to all the people who wish to appreciate the old quarters of Karachi in a peaceful manner, unhindered by traffic congestion. The fee for this tour is Rs. 2500 per head. This tour happens only on Sundays. Furthermore, I recommend taking this tour during the winter as the minibuses are not air conditioned.

A historical place with wide open air grass lawns. Having a huge area capacity for picnic. Personal baggage is not allowed to enter in the visiting area. Parking lot out side the entrance gate. Free washroom facility available. Recommended this place to visit with family.

5 Stars Dreamworld Resort was an absolute blast! We visited with our family and had an amazing time. The water activities were so much fun, and the recreational activities and sports kept us all entertained. From thrilling rides Go cart safari Horse riding and much more relaxing lounging areas, there was something for everyone. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed every moment of our visit and can't wait to go back. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a fun day night out! 👍🏼🌟 June 2025

Our visit to Dream World Hotel & Resort was unfortunately underwhelming and did not meet expectations, especially considering the high costs involved. The rooms were basic and lacked the comfort or amenities one would expect at such an expensive price point. The biggest disappointment was the poor management and lack of proper coordination. Guests were not guided well, and the time allowed for major attractions like the artificial sea and water slides was very limited. Although the resort advertises additional activities such as horse riding, archery, and boating, these too felt rushed and poorly managed, leaving little opportunity to actually enjoy them. The lunch buffet was particularly misleading—rather than offering a variety of items, it consisted only of biryani and water served from a 19-liter cane. If guests wanted bottled water or soft drinks, they had to pay highly inflated prices. A 250ml soft drink was being sold for Rs. 200, and a 300ml water bottle for Rs. 150, which is extremely unreasonable. Overall, the resort is in need of serious renovations and upgrades. With better management, more transparency, and fair pricing, Dream World could be a great family destination. As it stands, it falls short of offering a value-for-money experience.

We selected day out package. Which includes buffet food and 9am till 4 pm actually the time is very less if you ask me . Dreamworld resort is quit big you have to walk long way to enjoy in pool you need time and enjoy different different things you need time for food you have to change your clothes properly and then go for the food with ling walk again for this i need good time. Lunch time also includes 1:30 til 2:30 then going to pool again is difficult not easy to change your clothes again. Change the timings from 9 am till 4 pm to 7 am till 7pm ideal for all. Resort 10/8 Time slot 10/5 Food 10/6

If you want to enjoy a peaceful getaway away from the city, then Dream World Resort is the best option. Talking about the room—it was absolutely amazing. Besides that, the night stay here has its own unique charm. The view from the room's window was stunning. There are so many games available that you'll get tired playing them all. What I enjoyed the most was swimming and the room ball. The food here is quite good too, and the breakfast buffet in the morning was really nice. Overall, the experience was very good.

I recently visited Dreamworld Resort in Karachi and had a mixed experience. The standout aspect was definitely the kind and welcoming staff, especially the luggage porters, who were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. However, the reception staff could be more polite and professional, as their tone felt a bit rude and dismissive at times, which was disappointing for a hospitality establishment. The rooms were livable, offering basic comfort, but nothing particularly outstanding. On a positive note, the washroom and bathroom facilities were in better condition and cleaner than expected. That said, the hot water issue during the day made showering quite uncomfortable, especially given the Karachi heat. We had breakfast at the Bistro restaurant, but sadly, it didn’t feel like good value for money. The options were limited, and the taste didn’t match the pricing. When it comes to activities, the horse riding facility was great and well-managed. The desert safari was the highlight of our trip – thrilling and well-organized, and definitely a must-do! Unfortunately, several popular attractions like bowling, archery, laser shooting, and ice skating were closed, which was quite a letdown. Moreover, the motor cart and ATV ride vehicles were poorly maintained, and some weren’t working at all – a clear sign that these need urgent servicing or upgrades. The event hall was impressive and suitable for functions, but golf access was restricted to members only, which was a letdown and felt unwelcoming to guests. In terms of water activities, the pools and water areas were not as enjoyable or well-maintained as those at Sunway Lagoon in Gharo, which offers a far better experience in this regard. Lastly, the lack of greenery and overall need for renovation is noticeable. The resort would benefit immensely from some landscaping and refreshing of facilities to bring back its charm. In conclusion, Dreamworld Resort has great potential, especially with unique offerings like desert safari and horse riding, but it requires better maintenance, more guest-friendly staff at reception, and facility upgrades to justify the experience and pricing.

We visited Dream World Resort, Karachi today for a school picnic, and the experience was very disappointing. Despite charging a high amount, the facilities provided were very bad. On a hot summer day, there was no arrangement for cool drinking water anywhere in the resort. The lunch box had biryani which was very bad in taste. and there were no proper slides for children. The swimming pool water was extremely salty which caused irritation and burning in the eyes due to poor water quality. Other facilities like bowling were closed for maintenance, and the rest were available only for a limited time. It felt like most of the attractions were just for show and not actually accessible. Overall, it was a waste of money and not suitable for school trips or families with kids

We, a group of 30 people, went on a corporate trip and paid 105,000 rupees in total, which means 3500 rupees per ticket. We found this place completely worthless compared to other water parks and places. First, we went towards the slides and when we slid down, the water 🌊 was completely stagnant, like seawater. Then we went towards the wave pool and were completely disappointed because the water was so salty that our skin started to burn. After that, we visited the swimming pool. There, we only found knee-deep water in such a big swimming pool. Then we visited the locker room, and the condition we saw in the locker room on our way back was indescribable. In the ladies' rooms, there was a smell coming from outside, like dead fish. Then we went for lunch, and while the kababs and Chicken Karahi tasted good, the other items like Biryani and custard didn't taste good at all. Even the plates and spoons weren't clean, which shocked us. After that, we visited other games, but the staff wasn't cooperative. The staff, gaming, and pool here were not worthless. So, I concluded that it was a waste of money. However, yes, it's a completely suitable place for children, but worthless for adults to visit.
