Oakridge Wines is a renowned fine dining restaurant in the Yarra Valley, known for its exceptional food and wine pairings. It's a popular choice among visitors seeking an exquisite culinary experience. The restaurant offers brilliant service and a wonderful lunch, making it an ideal destination for those looking to indulge in the region's gastronomic delights. With its focus on providing top-notch dining experiences, Oakridge Wines stands out as one of the premier choices for food enthusiasts exploring the area.
There's wineries and then there's Oakridge :) What an amazing experience. Not just the food (I'll get to that in a minute), but the surroundings, history and charm of the place. Firstly, the service. Our young server was without a doubt AMAZING at his job. Had to remember all of the decisions and their meticulous details on a daily basis (as the menu changes so often due to what fresh produce is available). Was helpful, attentive and I even offered him a job!!! The food, you ask... Oh food, glorious food... We are so lucky in this country. We genuinely need to appreciate it. Light, tasty, full of depth, fresh are all words that come to mind... I can't fault a single dish we all had. Right down to the bread. Just so damn good :) Will definitely come back to bring the family along.

There are just so many wineries in Melbourne that choosing one felt like a mini project. I did quite a bit of research before finally settling on Oakridge, and I have to say, it did not disappoint. The experience felt a little more personal compared to the bigger, more commercial wineries. The cellar door host who guided us through the tasting was absolutely lovely. She gave one of the best wine explanations I have ever had. She talked us through their red wines in such detail, then offered us their white and sparkling too. We really got to explore the variety. What stood out the most was when she started explaining about the soil types. That was something I never paid attention to, but it was such an eye opener. I left knowing that even the ground your grapes grow on plays a huge role in the taste. It made the whole wine tasting experience more meaningful. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing. Floor to ceiling glass panels gave us the best view of the vineyard, and with the winter chill, I really appreciated the warm sunlight coming in. It was the kind of space where you just want to sit, sip slowly and enjoy the view. I would absolutely recommend Oakridge if you are looking for a winery that is not only scenic but also educational and memorable. It was definitely one of the highlights of my trip.

We had a fantastic wine tasting experience at Oakridge Wines. Carrie and Ray Lee were warm and knowledgeable. Carrie provided exceptional insights into the wines with passion and precision. Their hospitality elevated our visit and made it truly memorable. The wines were elegant and expressive—definitely a highlight of our Yarra Valley trip. Highly recommend!

We had such an amazing time at Oakridge! We stopped in for a wine tasting on my birthday, and it truly couldn’t have been more perfect. The wines were great. Carrie guided us and she was fantastic; so friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the wines. She took the time to explain everything in such an engaging way and made me feel really welcome. I can’t wait to come back.
Nil A — Google review
We did the Chardonnay masterclass at Oakridge with Carrie and absolutely loved it. She was brilliant — really knowledgeable but super easy to chat with. The range of Chardonnays was incredible, each one different and really well explained. The standout for us was the Aqueduct Block Henk Vineyard Chardonnay — just stunning. Oh and she looked after the designated driver really well too! Such a great experience and well worth doing if you’re visiting the Yarra Valley.
Trev W — Google review
We had a fantastic wine tasting at Oakridge. We explored many different wines, all amazingly created yet distinctive in their own right depending on terroir or vintage. Carrie was our host and she did an amazing job, very knowledgeable and clear on explanations. She is a very lovely, welcoming host that made our tasting extra special. Can’t wait to return again and we will certainly have this winery on a regular delivery.

From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful surroundings and the welcoming atmosphere. A special thanks to Raylee, who provided exceptional service throughout our visit. Her knowledge of the wines and passion for what you do truly enhanced our experience. She made us feel valued and ensured that we enjoyed every moment, from the tastings to the delightful conversations. What a great experience!:)

We had an amazing wine tasting experience at Oak Ridge, guided by Raylee, who made the whole visit truly memorable. She took the time to ensure we understood and appreciated each of the wines she poured, sharing her knowledge with genuine enthusiasm and passion. Her attention to detail and warm personality elevated the experience to another level — something we truly value after visiting many wineries. You can really tell the quality and craftsmanship behind their wines; each one was beautifully made and full of character. Thank you, Raylee, for making our tasting so special!

Pt. Leo Estate is a stunning coastal winery located on the Mornington Peninsula, offering vineyard tours, cellar door tastings, and an outdoor modern sculpture gallery. The estate features two acclaimed restaurants - Laura and Pt Leo Restaurant - both of which were named among Victoria's best in the 2018 delicious.100 restaurant guide.
We had an amazing lunch at Pt. Leo Estate. The octopus and wood-fired snapper were both absolutely delicious — fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. The highlight, though, was the service. Our waiter was fantastic, treating us to a range of different wines to try, opening our eyes to new flavours and styles we wouldn’t normally choose. It really elevated the whole experience. The only downside was the atmosphere inside — it felt a bit hectic, with lots of tables packed in quite close together and plenty of kids running around. Would’ve loved a bit more space to enjoy the setting. Overall though, incredible food, outstanding service, and definitely worth a visit.

Bringing the children to this sculpture park winery felt like stepping into a canvas where art and nature blend seamlessly. The open lawns were dotted with sculptures — some lively, some solemn — each quietly telling its own story. The kids ran freely, full of curiosity as they explored the harmony of art and nature, while I savored a glass of fragrant wine, taking in the beauty all around. A gentle breeze swept through, and in the distance, the vineyard shimmered softly under the sunlight. In that moment, artistic inspiration, the calm of nature, and the laughter of my children intertwined, creating an unforgettable and precious experience. I’ll be recommending this place to many more friends!

We had a milestone celebration and was looking for something a little bit "special" we had heard about Pt Leo Laura restaurant, so decided to give it a go. It certainly did not disappoint. Our table gave us plenty of room to enjoy a panoramic view of the sculpture park and coastline. The service and attention was at the right level and the food was magnificent - from the amuse bouche, flambe lobster at the table to the final coffee we had an amazing dining experience. I would definitely recommend, make sure there is plenty of room on your credit card, but worth every cent. 👍👍👍👍👍

A group of us came to Pt. Leo Estate in Flinders on a Saturday afternoon for a birthday lunch. The winery is situated on Victoria's pristine Mornington Peninsula and the estate is home to 50 acres of vines, sculpture park and restaurant. It is a really idealic and beautiful location, in which the restaurant and winery overlook the vineyards and bay. On arrival, I joined the birthday girl and others at the bar, whilst waiting for our restaurant table to be ready. A bartender told me that I wouldn't be allowed to sit at the bar, as we had reached our maximum capacity of group of 7. After looking around and seeing about 30 available seats from nearby tables, and counting 7 of us at the bar, she said that it was okay for me to stay there. This was a bit of a negative experience as her attitude towards me felt very hostile, and not a pleasant way to be greeted. After being seated for lunch at around 1:30pm, we were guided through the menu by a waiter, and we all ordered our drinks and selected our mains. Despite our booking being from 1:30pm for lunch, we did not receive our entrees until 2:48pm, so it was a very long wait. Our main meals did not arrive until 3:36pm, and dessert arrived at 4:14pm. Fortunately, we were all enjoying ourselves and the dining experience, but that is far too long to be waiting for our food, especially since we had pre-booked this birthday event months in advance. Additionally, there were 4 people on our table with dietary requirements. The waiter (accidentally) made an error and gave one of the celiac girls an entree with gluten in it, which could have been quite detrimental to her had she eaten it. After alerting the staff of this, they were quite apologetic and the manager came up to her personally to apologise and inform her that she had reminded the waiters and kitchen staff of our table's dietary intolerances and allergies. They were kind enough to waive the fee for some of our hot beverages as a compensation for making the dietary error. After our dining experience, we went for a short walk to look at the sculpture park. It was a very windy and chilly day, so we didn't stick around for too long after that. Overall, Pt. Leo Estate is a very beautiful estate with winery and vineyard. The food was tasty, but the wait times were extremely long. The customer service was reasonable, but at times needed improvement in terms of friendliness and ensuring dietary intolerances were considered.

What a stunning location in nice weather. As a Google reviewer my main interest is the cuisine. I had the pleasure of attending a formal 3 course lunch and I was impressed most especially by the degree in which the chef's source from the local region! Down to the salad leaves! 🥗 As I appreciate the snapper is local, I think the chefs could do it better justice than grilling as the corners dry too much. I know a batter or crumb wouldn't look as fancy but it may keep the moisture in a bit better. Whilst I found the diners a little bit la-dee-da and pretentious that's not in control of the owners. This just might be because I am from interstate and not used to Victorians haha. It might also be because the Australian cuisine is 🇫🇷French inspired. Photos of dishes in order: 🐟 Yellowfin tuna eschabeche, olasgati anchovies, pickled quindilla and oxheart tomatoes 🍥 Savoury burnt basque cheesecake, heirloom carrots 🎏 Wood roasted snapper, estate NV sparkling beurre blanc, toasted almonds, charred broccolini 🥩 Flinders+Co "Vintage reserve" beef eye fillet, sauce au poirvre vert, charred shallots, brandy 🍮 Passionfruit cremeux, caramel sauce, mango sorbet, elderflower
Karli R — Google review
Came here for lunch and from the moment you step in you get great customer service and attentive throughout. Had king crab pasta which had a nice tasty sauce and Octopus for entree. Had the Snapper and Barramundi with brussel sprouts and anna pomme for sides. Chardonny and Pinot Noir complemented the meals well. Overall tasty and a wonderful experience followed by a complimentary diner to view the sculptures.

A Refined Experience at Pt. Leo Estate – Where Wine Meets Art and Elegance As a wine lover, visiting Pt. Leo Estate was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled along the stunning Mornington Peninsula, the estate offered a perfect blend of sophistication, natural beauty, and world-class craftsmanship. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene vineyard views and the elegant design of the space; a true celebration of art, nature, and fine wine. The quality of the wines was remarkable, each glass showcasing depth, balance, and character that reflected the passion behind every bottle. The staff were knowledgeable and attentive, elevating the tasting experience with their expertise and warmth. Every detail; from the presentation to the pairing suggestions, felt thoughtfully curated, turning a simple wine tasting into a memorable sensory journey. Pt. Leo Estate is more than a destination for wine; it’s an experience that engages every sense. It reminds you why great wine isn’t just tasted, it’s felt, shared, and remembered long after the final sip.
Heidy W — Google review
The environment is very good and comfortable. The amazing taste of the meal is appetizer > dessert > main course. Beef with egg yolks is amazing, very recommend. But I don't understand is that we had to wait a long time for each dish. By the time we finished, it was already 16:40, and we were seated at 13:45. So it took total of 3hours…

Jack Rabbit Vineyard is a must-visit destination on the Bellarine Peninsula, offering sophisticated cool-climate wines and an award-winning restaurant with stunning coastal views. The vineyard features a modern Australian cuisine restaurant, cellar door, tasting room, and bistro-style cafe. With floor-to-ceiling windows providing breathtaking bay views, it's an ideal spot for a leisurely lunch or morning cuppa.
Laura and the team at Jack Rabbit were outstanding in the lead up to and on our wedding day. From the moment we stepped in the door when we first viewed the venue, Laura took care of us and offered so much positivity and support. Her communication was excellent throughout the whole process, and the day went exactly to plan thanks to everything she and the rest of the team did in the background. The venue is stunning and made a big impression on our guests and the food and wine was excellent. Having an extensive range of wine options available for guests was fantastic several of our guests remarked how impressed they were with the food, the drinks and the level of service. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of venue and will certainly visit many more times to celebrate the happy memories.

Truely a memorable experience, both the tasting and the lunch. The view across to Melbourne was magnificent. We were with friends and we all enjoyed our meals. The surprise birthday ice cream cake was a ‘hit’! The staff were very pleasant.

We enjoyed our lunch at Jack Rabbit restaurant, great service and wonderful food. Spectacular views is a bonus! Great place for celebrations. We will be back! We are sharing our meals as they were exceptional!

During my holiday in Australia, having lunch at Jack Rabbit Restaurant was one of the most memorable experiences of the trip. The food was delicious, the beer was excellent, and the combination of spectacular views and amazing vibes made it unforgettable. Our kids enjoyed playing freely on the grass, and we had plenty of opportunities to take beautiful photos with the stunning scenery. Unfortunately, we arrived without a reservation, and there wasn’t enough space for our group at first. Even though we had to wait, I was truly impressed by the staff’s effort — they went out of their way to find a table for us, even arranging one outdoors with a great view. To the blonde lady with long hair who served us — I’m sorry I forgot to ask your name, but thank you for your outstanding service! If you plan to visit, I highly recommend coming on a sunny day and making a reservation in advance to secure a good spot.

We found this place on Google. We stopped here for lunch on our way to Apollo Bay. I must say it’s not necessarily on the way in however it was a great detour. The food was amazing, the view was sensational and the service was excellent. Our only criticism is that the wine was okay, it wasn’t fantastic but it was still nice to sit down and enjoy Chardonnay, and a Pinot noir . We had a lovely waitress who was very accommodating, great attitude, and gave us some lovely suggestions on our visit to the area. I would definitely go back to this place and it’s worth a visit. Reasonably priced as well .

Definitely one of my favorite wineries in Australia, the view from here is cozy and peaceful also the wine are tasty. And most importantly, the portions of food they serving here is absolutely crazy! Will definitely come back here for moreeeee🤤

Stopped by for a quick lunch and was surprised with the beautiful seafront view from the restaurant. Nothing can be better then sitting in the open with cool wind and shade from the sun while enjoying my tender flavourful beef ribs. Lovely place and staff. Thanks Jack Rabbit for the wonderful and unforgettable experience.
Oli N — Google review
Customer service were not bad but our food were below average. The mussel I had has a generous portion but the chicken burger was not tender inside. Also, it was so noisy when you sat next to a group of people. I’d recommend you sit outside if it’s not windy. I thought Paying more $100 for 2 peoples meal should give us a peaceful place to have a chat but the atmosphere is below average. The view is good though

Yering Station Winery, established in 1838, is a luxurious destination featuring a blend of modern and historic buildings. The property was acquired by the Rathbone family in 1996 and is home to Yarrabank. The winery complex handles Yarrabank sparkling and Yering Station table wines, making it a focal point of the Yarra Valley. Additionally, the historic Chateau Yering offers luxury accommodation and fine dining next door.
We got married at Yering Station in 2012 and it was spectacular. Could not recommend it highly enough. But today we went back for lunch to show our kids this incredible place 13 years after our wedding. The meal was amazing and the serves generous. The view and atmosphere are stunning. We had so much fun just hanging out after lunch - it was 5pm so we were pleasantly surprised to discover that the cellar door was open until 6pm. We went in for a tasting. WOW! The wines were so much better than we remembered, but even more wonderful was the experience. The beautiful staff not only made us feel welcome, they completely spoiled us with our tasting, bringing out a bottle of Chardonnay from the year we were married to taste then really engaging with us talking all things wine and life. The wines were delicious, the service was even better. Obviously we signed up for the wine family (which was more than worth it!). Thank you Yering Station for making my Mother’s Day celebration so special this year x

Wine tasting and lunch at Yering Station was one of the highlights of our Melbourne trip. I was delighted to try some delicious red wines and enjoy a wonderful lunch there. The beautiful surroundings, elegant décor, and friendly staff make it an outstanding restaurant and winery. Highly recommend.
Chin T — Google review
I was really excited for this one. We went for the wine tasting on a beautiful sunny day, the kind of weather that makes you want to be outdoors enjoying the view. Unfortunately, the tasting itself takes place indoors in a fairly dim room with very little natural light, which felt like a real shame. With such gorgeous surroundings outside, it seemed like a missed opportunity to create something special. During the tasting, four different staff members poured for us. Three of them asked what we had already been served, which made the whole experience feel a bit disorganized and not as smooth or welcoming as I was hoping for. The wine pours also felt quite small -more like a sip than a proper tasting- and I think most people would agree after seeing the photo I’ve attached. Inside, the décor follows a pop-art theme with Andy Warhol replicas. Normally, I appreciate that style, but here it felt completely unrelated to wine, wine tasting, or the heritage of the vineyard. Instead of enhancing the atmosphere, it actually worked against the rustic, old-world vibe that the place itself naturally carries. That said, the outdoor area is stunning. The grounds are well kept, with a beautiful grassy area out front and a lovely lookout point that really makes you stop and take it in. It honestly left me thinking how perfect it would be if the wine tasting were moved outdoors, perhaps with a small kiosk or bar set up in the middle of the lawn. With the sunshine, scenery, and a glass in hand, that would transform the experience into something unforgettable.

You can't fault much here. The service, food and atmosphere is exceptional. However, there was a fault in the steak option that I paid extra for on top of what my parents had already paid for a 3-course meal. It might not seem like a big deal, but since I asked specifically for "true medium rare", not medium, which it ended up exactly being on my plate, that was disappointing, being such a high quality piece of meat. Other than that, it was an amazing lunch, and had me bursting at the seams. I could have just had the pork belly entree and pistachio dessert and been satisfied.

Had a great meal at Yering station. Great service beautiful views great menu and flavours. Everyone enjoyed every dish. Loved my prawn entree. The fish main was perfect. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Front of house Trixie was very professional. Wines were great. Deserts were delicious. Highly recommend will def return.

We had a very odd and dissapointing experience at the restaurant. We had booked lunch using a luxury escape voucher which included a main, choice of wine and two shared sides. The only positive was how well cooked the meats were and how tasty the wine was. Other than that, our experience was very strange. The strangest part or our experience was the use of potato off cuts in our roasted potato side - see picture below. I have never before seen potato fondant off cuts and bits of potato eye served to guests. It's really incomprehensible and unappetising. We ended up leaving the potato dish. The salad was also quite terrible - it literally looked like a Coles pre chopped salad mix that was topped with a few sprigs of dill and some goats cheese. The leaves were barely dressed and very plain tasting. Onto the main meals, which ended up being quite odd as well. The cuts of meat were very tasty and well seasoned. The biggest negative was the random pastry basket served with the pork and holding chopped apple. The basket was pale, undercooked and soggy. It didn't really add anything to the dish. The duck dish was also a bit odd with an undercooked cannelloni filled with pulled duck and cabbage. This was bland and underseasoned also. While both dishes looked pretty, they left much to be desired and not worth the cost or effort. Overall, we would not be back and we wouldn't recommend to others. There are much better choices in the Yarra Valley (and much better luxury escape deals as well). Be warned.

Beautiful Vinyard with celler door and restaurant. Simple elegant feels with vase space. We went to cellar door to get a cheese platter and a glass of wine as we arrived too early for our lunch booking. There are a small number of outside table for you to enjoy the cheese board and wine and it was super delicious. The celler door staff was super friendly and professional, compared to my recent visit to Pt.Leo celler door where staff would just ignored you. We then moved to the restaurant after we finished the cheese board. Lovely open space in the restaurant area with glass wall from floor to ceiling open to the landscape! I was going to do the 3 courses and finish with dessert to share with my partner but the food size was really substantial I was way too full and couldn't even finish my fish main. 😞 My entree of scallops with bacon was so good, a little too much of pumpkin. The barramundi with eels mashed was very tasty as well, but also feel like there are too many things on the plates. Overall I enjoyed my food. My husband entree was great but the main is a little bland. Definitely recommend the cellar door for wine tasting and cheese platter for chill out outdoor on a good sunny day 😎🌞

Zonzo Estate Yarra Valley is a charming Italian restaurant offering traditional cuisine in a spacious setting with a cozy fireplace and stunning vineyard views. The menu features classic Italian dishes like wood-fired pizza, arancini, meatballs, and gnocchi, as well as delectable desserts including affogato, panna cotta, tiramisu, and cannoli. Families can enjoy the kids' menu while taking in the picturesque countryside views.
Quite a bustling restaurant here in the Yarra Valley area. Nothing much to see here during the winter period. The restaurant is pretty big but still fills up on a weekday lunch. The food here is not bad, we had pizza and pasta and honestly they were quite good. We paired it with a glass of wine and also som oysters for starter. The oysters are fresh and decently sized. I will recommend to make reservations before coming. And although the vineyard looks bare during winter, the outdoor is still great for photos

We had an incredible anniversary lunch at Zonzo Estate. We ordered the sharing menu, which was delicious, incredibly filling and definitely worth the price. A special shout out to Hudson, whose positive energy was radiating. He was welcoming and made the experience an enjoyable one.

First place on my list whenever going for a winery day trip. Beautiful views, amazing services, well maintenance overall, pizza and pasta are highly recommended. Just one hour driving from Melbourne. Close to chocolate factory and plants nursery - worthy to pass by after the meal. Some charges were taken from credit card for table reserves.

I really enjoyed my experience. Hudson is the man! He made it pleasant enough for me to remember before even the food was served. For those who enjoy seafood ISH taste, I will totally recommend the anchovies pizza! I was kinda sad that my last bite :') The pork sausage pizza was decent. Strong with herbs taste. Hudson, thanks for connecting and relating to customers! ❤️❤️❤️

We had such a fantastic experience at Zonzo Estate! The food was absolutely delicious and the drinks were just as impressive, everything was fresh, well presented, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was beautiful and added to the whole experience. A special shoutout to Hudson, who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His attentiveness, warm personality, birthday song and genuine care made our visit extra memorable. Thanks for making it such a wonderful day, we’ll definitely be back!

Yarra Valley Lodge is a sophisticated hotel located in the heart of Yarra Valley, offering informal rooms and suites along with a restaurant, bar, and event space. The lodge sits on a 120-hectare estate surrounded by native bush and wildlife, providing opportunities to spot kangaroos on nearby hills. The design of the lodge is modern and Scandinavian-inspired, with wood paneling and clean lines extending to its 96 rooms and six suites.
From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was great!. The staff welcomed us with genuine warmth, making us feel right at home. Check-in was seamless, and we were soon escorted to our room—a beautifully appointed space that perfectly balanced comfort with amazing design. The property itself is a haven of tranquility, with beautifully landscaped grounds and inviting common areas. Every corner of the hotel radiated charm and care, and it was clear that the team here is committed to excellence. What truly elevated our stay, however, was the dinner we enjoyed at Bella Restaurant. Each dish was a masterpiece, artfully presented and bursting with flavor. From the freshly baked artisan bread to the exquisitely prepared mains, every bite was a testament to the chef’s creativity and skill. The service at Bella was flawless—attentive without being intrusive, with Jess who clearly took pride in what she did. We can’t wait to return!

We had a wonderful 3 nights in May 2025 at Yarra Valley Lodge. The staff were helpful, friendly, nothing was too hard. The room, golf view, was incredible ~ large lounges to enjoy the view, very comfortable bed, massive bathroom with separate shower & bathtub. Breakfast was wonderful. The Bella restaurant is not open weekdays, lunch & dinner can be had in room or in the bar. The food was wonderful seasonal local produce as were the wines. We had a wonderful stay ~ thank you Yarra Valley Lodge

Wish I could give 10🌟 to Jess for her outstanding service at Bella Restaurant! She made us feel truly special and ensured the chefs catered to our dietary needs , such thoughtful service made all the difference. Overall, great value with the overnight stay and dinner packages. Highly recommended for a relaxing getaway with warm service by all staff! The rooms are a little dated, but the lodge’s beautiful setting, surrounded by kangaroos and nature, more than makes up for it.

Rubbish sleep on what was meant to be a double or queen size bed, actually two beds pushed together that kept coming apart. That's a bread & butter fail right there. The drink (cocktail) quality was very average. On the plus side, the humans were fantastic. Great genuine service from all staff members. The food at Bella was fantastic for dinner. The breaky buffet was also pretty good. The decor of the whole place is stark & seemingly unfinished (?) Decent nature walk with loads of roos, a wombat or two, loads of birds. I would stay somewhere else unless you get a great (discounted) price.

Nestled in a beautiful spot, this hotel has so much room offer. We stayed for two nights in a room with lodge view. It was absolutely comfortable stay except for the aircon that refused to adjust when we tried a few times. We enjoyed the whole premises, when for walks on the trail, kangaroos were a special attraction of the place. The buffet breakfast was truly exceptional

I had a wonderful time here for a work conference and was privileged to do some wine tasting and Lazer clay shooting- the food was consistently amazing throughout the stay. Everything was fresh and and there was a good variety on the menu. The only thing for me is the pillows were uncomfortable but that just might be my fussiness and I didn't know if the aircon was working in my room. It was so hot I found it hard to fall asleep And left the doors open on my balcony so that the cool air could come in. Other than that a really beautiful spot

Outstanding views of the golf course and surrounding areas. The Kangaroo's were definitely a highlight! Comfortable rooms, excellent service. The food was incredible.

Our family had an incredible and relaxing stay at the Yarra Valley Lodge. The peaceful atmosphere was immediately apparent, and we loved being surrounded by the abundant birdlife and frequent kangaroo sightings on the beautiful grounds. Our suite was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktail (blush) menu options and the superb buffet breakfast. The location in the Yarra Valley provides the perfect backdrop for a tranquil getaway. While we found the front desk staff to be less welcoming than expected, this was a minor point in an otherwise delightful experience. We would highly recommend the Yarra Valley Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful and enjoyable retreat in the Yarra Valley.

Montalto offers a refined modern Australian dining experience with a kitchen garden and a deck that overlooks sculptures and vines. The celebratory lunch menu, curated by renowned chef Matt Wilkinson, provides an opportunity to savor the breathtaking view across Red Hill vineyards and the Sculpture Trail through to Western Port on the horizon. The ever-changing menu is based on the bounty of Montalto's estate gardens and locally sourced ingredients.
From the minute we walked in the service was fantastic.Attentive and informative as well as subtle. The ambience in the restaurant was great, quiet and refined, very different from the hustle and busyness of the casual pizza dinning area. Both have merit in there own right. The food I couldnt fault, well considered, light, fresh and clean.Delightfully only one fried dish.Fresh ingredients executed with cooking precision , beautiful presentation and certainly didnt dissappoint. The dessert finale was superb.Highly reccommend.

I photographed a wedding at Montalto Red Hill recently. I love this venue! The vineyards, olive groves, and sweeping views over the Peninsula provide endless opportunities for stunning photos, especially at golden hour. There is a super cute veggie garden too! It was so pretty having speeches on the deck looking over the grass. The team were wonderful to work with, ensuring the day flowed seamlessly so couple could relax and also really looking after the vendors too.

Since moving to the Peninsula, we’ve become regulars at Montalto — and happily so. One of our greatest pleasures is bringing friends from Melbourne for a long lunch at the restaurant, and without fail, they leave as delighted as we are. The staff are consistently genuine, warm, and professional. Whether in the restaurant or the tasting room, they work seamlessly as a team and always go the extra mile to make each visit memorable. The wines are outstanding, the food is exceptional, and the sweeping vineyard views are simply breathtaking. Every aspect of Montalto continues to impress.

We came here for my fiancé’s birthday lunch and what a treat it was. Food was outstanding, some of the best we have ever had with perfect wine pairings to match. The staff were warm and attentive, even offering us a sneak tasting of a new cocktail after we loved the two that we ordered. Thank you for a fabulous dining experience - We can’t wait to come back for the new summer menu!

We had an incredible time at Montalto in the garden room celebrating my husband’s 60th birthday! The food was exquisite, the wine divine and the view breathtaking but the most memorable part of our day was the exceptional service from Oscar who was overseeing our function. Oscar was very attentive to any dietary requirements and made sure that everyone was uniquely catered for and it was no trouble for him (despite lots of rain) to attend to our every need. A friendly, warm and kind young man who is a testament to the quality and high standards of Montalto. Thank you so much Oscar and Montalto. The day was so wonderful and memorable and we will be back! 🥂

We booked Montalto for our 1st wedding anniversary lunch at The Restaurant — and it was simply perfect! From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding, especially from Charlotte and another gentlemen, who warmly welcomed us, explained the menu, and even wished us a happy anniversary. We had the 3-course menu, and every single dish was divine: 🌱 The spring vegetable toast — I wish there was a tray of it! So good. 🔥 The burnt butter — smoky, airy, light perfection. 🥣 The hummus — I should’ve asked for seconds! 🌿 The artichoke — I’m usually not a fan, but wow, absolutely phenomenal. 🍖 The lamb rump and 🐟 rainbow trout were perfectly balanced, and the potatoes… to die for! Absolute heaven. Even the cabbage was delicious. We paired our meal with a sparkling rosé and Pinot Gris, both perfect matches for the flavours 🍾. A special thank you to the team for the complimentary scallops and wine tasting at the cellar door — such a thoughtful touch that made our day even more special 🥂. What a way to celebrate our anniversary! Huge praise to the entire Montalto team for their effortless service, warmth, and attention to detail. Highly, highly recommend!

Everything was amazing. The servers were attentive and friendly and also helpful. We went with the feed me menu. And it was great to share with my parents in their mid 70’s who loved trying the different options and found it all very delicious. Also loved the Birthday Cuvée which I almost left behind if it wasn’t for the staff chasing me down while we were viewing the grounds to return it to me.

Dined at the Piazza @ Montalto. Great food with great views, tried most pizzas; all had fresh ingredients, great base/crust. Great selection of sides, wines and drinks to complement. Only minor downside was waiting for a table, we felt ignored, with a pretty quiet afternoon and multiple staff (we respect that we may not get seated immediately due to staff having other things to do) but as the only ones in queue, recognition that we were right in front of them and a simple greeting would’ve sufficed in the interim. Highly recommendable, will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place for a 3-course lunch! My wife and I had an amazing date booked for her birthday, where we were privately flown in by helicopter to this stunning spot. The scenery was breathtaking, and the interior was very classy yet quaint and cosy. Once we sat down, we had the charcuterie board to share, steak with crispy potatoes for main, and a cheeseboard to finish things off. Every mouthful was delicious, and the wines paired beautifully. 10/10 highly recommended!

What a great experience! We stopped by for a tasting, and the lovely lady who served us was so knowledgeable and friendly, walking us through everything. The wine is absolutely delicious, so moreish, and very reasonably priced for the quality. We loved that you can also buy by the glass, grab a platter, and sit outside to enjoy the beautiful grounds. The excellent service definitely made the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Best winery that I have visited so far in terms of wine tasting at the cellar door, food at restaurant and customer service. We had a visit last week in a group of 4 plus a dog. Lady at the cellar door was very knowledgable and generous, we were offered even more than 4 wines to taste which is what you would usually get there when doing wine tasting. Food upstairs was excellent, fresh, tasty and very well presented. Gentleman at the restaurant was also very friendly and welcoming with good knowledge around both food and wines they had on the menu. We had the best time at this place sitting outside with our dog pouring wine and enjoying deliciuos food. We hope good service continus and we will definitely go back for more visits and have already introduced this winery to couple of friends.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The Perfect Anniversary at De Bortoli – Thanks to Scott! My partner and I visited De Bortoli Winery in the Yarra Valley to celebrate our anniversary, and it was truly the perfect day. From the breathtaking views to the exceptional service, everything exceeded our expectations. We were warmly welcomed and hosted by Scott, who absolutely made our experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and made the wine tasting fun and engaging. His passion for the wines and the region really shone through — we learned so much while laughing and enjoying every moment. The wines were outstanding — smooth, full of character, and beautifully presented. The Noble One and Pinot Noir were our personal favourites. De Bortoli is not only visually stunning, but the care and attention from the team, especially Scott, made it a memorable and intimate experience. It was the perfect way to celebrate our special day, and we can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for any occasion — or just because you deserve a beautiful day out!

Coombe Yarra Valley is a stylish winery and restaurant located in the former residence of opera singer Dame Nellie Melba. Situated in the sought-after Yarra Valley, this property offers 10 clear acres of fertile land with mains water already connected. It was previously a strawberry farm and provides picturesque views, making it an ideal location to build a luxury home or continue farming activities.
We recently had our wedding at Coombe Yarra Valley, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and memorable day. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. A special thank you to Angela, who was absolutely incredible throughout our entire wedding planning journey. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made the process feel seamless and enjoyable. She guided us through every step with care and made sure everything came together perfectly. On the day itself, the Coombe team went above and beyond to ensure both we and our guests were looked after. The level of coordination among the staff was outstanding, they communicated so well between themselves that we felt completely supported and felt like a priority throughout the entire event. The venue is, of course, stunning, but it’s the people who truly make Coombe special. We’re so grateful for everything they did to make our day magical and we cannot recommend Coombe Yarra Valley highly enough to any couples looking for a dream wedding venue. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

As a wedding florist, we always love returning to Coombe Yarra Valley. The venue is a perfect blend of rich historical charm and modern elegance. Tucked behind the hedges, it’s full of beauty — from the original gardens and striking architecture to the refined interiors. It provides a stunning canvas for ceremonies in the Italian Garden or under the Oak Tree, and the reception space is just as breathtaking, with rich and raw features. One of our favourite moments is decorating the tables with lots of candles — it looks especially magical as night falls, particularly on the glass-top tables, where the reflections add an extra sparkle ✨✨ The team is consistently warm, professional, and so lovely to work with. I love walking into the reception space to see familiar smiling faces 🥰 The weddings and events team is always organised and make our job easy. It’s such a joy to be part of weddings and events at Coombe!

Beautiful winery with lush green gardens and very helpful hosts. Hosted a drive day function at the Gallery and Emma our event manager was incredibly helpful. We dropped off the gifts and place cards and banner the day before and Emma had it all set up perfectly. Emma greeted us at the gates and led us to the Gallery. Everyone complimented on the food and presentation. I highly recommend Coombe for functions. There was an option for a garden tour but we didn’t have the time to incorporate that into our event. Definitely one of the best places to host a function
Eva C — Google review
I loved the venue and we had a wonderful view of the trees from our table. The building interior is very interesting and beautifully finished; for what was once the old garage for Nellie’s luxury automobiles- Cadillac, Rolls Royce etc. The service was friendly and unhurried. Our meals were delicious and are commented on in other reviews. My 4 star atmosphere rating is reduced from 5 due to the repetitive, & to my taste, boring jazz trumpets. A bit more variety would be nice.
Nicole L — Google review
I was invited to a private party in the museum. The service is good. There are two options for each course. I had Confit Duck Terrine, Slow Cook Pork Belly and Pork Scotch, Peach Melba. The duck is good but the bun is dry. Pork scotch is much better than the pork belly. Peach Melba is not to my liking. I want a bit sour than sweet.
Libby Y — Google review
The food was amazing! Hard to decide what to have! Started with homemade, still warm, bread to dip into a gorgeous fresh olive oil (forgot to take a photo). A glass of Coombe sparkling, then Coombe Chardonnay with the Barrimundi. Terrific, friendly service. Would have liked to go on a tour of the house and gardens, but a bit much on the expensive side. Maybe another time. The flat white coffee was on the weak side unfortunately. Great place for a special celebration, like our wedding anniversary!

We absolutely love working at Coombe Yarra Valley! We’ve had the pleasure of styling many weddings here over the years, and it’s always such a joy. The team is incredibly supportive, responsive, and professional, which makes the whole process so enjoyable. Beyond that, the venue itself is simply stunning, a truly beautiful setting for couples to celebrate, and such an inspiring venue to style. We can’t recommend Coombe highly enough! Stopped by Red Hill Estate to try the celebrated Pinot Noir 🍷A beautiful Tuscan inspired farmhouse serving great wine and rustic food. Think “Nonna” and the food met expectations! Had a great time at the wine tasting experience here and also at the restaurant. They were able to fit us in for the tasting before our lunch without a res so thank you for that! The prosciutto pizza was amazing, the carbonara not that much. Maybe skip the tiramisu because it was a bit bland. The service was impeccable and we had a great time!

We enjoyed a casual, light share plates lunch here on Saturday afternoon. Red Hill Estate was buzzing and busy and the food, setting and service were all excellent. This place is all about simple Italian food done really well - no tricks, just nicely presented dishes packed with great flavour. The wines were also delicious. While all the wait staff were excellent, special mention goes to Ange who was so friendly and attentive. While it this was our first visit, it certainly won't be our last!

Very friendly staff and the wine tasting session before the meal was excellent, very knowledgeable and excellent selection. The food was very nice.. pizzas were perfect.. highly recommended the pizzas.. The only downside to the whole experience was that there was a lack of airflow.. one small AC to do the eating area.. also we wanted to enjoy the outdoor area after lunch with a beer and a few wines but they wouldn't let us all due to their lack of staff.. so we continued on to another local brew house..other than that it was enjoyable.

I felt very privileged and lucky to have met Bob and have him take care of my wife and I during our tasting experience. One cannot live on past experience alone and living in the moment trying something exceptionally crafted, like the wines at Red Hill was special. Would love to come back and see what the restaurant has to offer. Steve & Karen the birthday girl

Booked in for the standard wine tasting experience, huge shoutout to Bob for making it extra special! The setting is super cute, and the late afternoon timing worked out perfectly since it wasn’t too busy. The food was decent, and my bottle of Dolcetto went down a treat.

We absolutely love visiting Red Hill Estate and have been making the trip down there for around 3–4 years now — and the main reason we keep coming back is Bob. He’s an absolute gem: warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the wines and the region. Every tasting with Bob feels like a masterclass mixed with great conversation, laughs, and the ultimate example of hospitality at its finest. The wines themselves are excellent — consistently balanced and beautifully expressive of the Mornington Peninsula. Their commercial range available through Dan Murphy’s and BWS is what first got us onto Red Hill Estate (especially the Pinot and Shiraz — unbeatable value around $14–15 a bottle on sale), but the cellar door releases are truly next level. That said, it’s the razzle dazzle of Bob that turns a good visit into a memorable one. He makes every guest feel welcome, always has a great recommendation up his sleeve, and you leave feeling like your bucket is full. It’s rare these days to find someone who elevates an experience like this. If I owned or ran a hospitality venue, Bob would be the first person I’d poach. Red Hill Estate is incredibly lucky to have him — and honestly, whatever they’re paying him, it should be double. Bob’s the reason we’ll keep making the trip down there, just to see him and enjoy another perfect day at the vineyard sampling great wines. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely exquisite. Arlene and Bob went completely above and beyond to make our day so special! Lunch was incredible - food was moreish and cozy while still feeling elevated. We felt so special, thank you again for such a beautiful lunch to celebrate a birthday! We can’t wait to come back again soon.

Wow, what a beautiful estate! Experienced it at night time for a date night (kid free). Such a cool vibe with mood lighting and chill music. Food was absolutely DELICIOUS!!!!!! I've also heard it is great during the day for a kid friendly vibe so we're keen to try that too!

Had zero expectations for this meal but it ended up appearing in my dreams at night. The prawn pizza is to die for. Perfect crust, perfect toppings, perfect flavour. I can eat the whole pizza myself, easily!!!! I'd give the fried chicken burger a pass. Also a beautiful estate to roam around

A tempting assortment for the pallette. Rissoto was well balanced in texturing and taste, Pizzas are precisely roasted with an assortment of well placed toppings. The desserts were also top-notch. But the atmosphere was way tpo crowded and noisy. Get a reservation beforehand.

Hubert Estate is a gem, boasting a breathtaking view with a vast green slope right next to the restaurant—perfect for a relaxing sunbathing break between lunch courses. The Margherita and Calabrese pizzas were outstanding, bursting with flavor and perfectly executed. The spicy burrata cauliflower was a surprising highlight, leaving a strong impression with its bold taste. The tiramisu, however, didn’t quite match the same level of excellence. Overall, a delightful dining experience in a stunning setting, well worth a visit!

Hubert Estate Winery is a fantastic spot for a weekend getaway. The atmosphere is super chill and incredibly healing, perfect for unwinding and escaping the city. I had a wonderful experience enjoying both the food and the wine, which were excellent. It’s an ideal place to relax, soak in the beautiful surroundings, and treat yourself to some quality time. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable winery visit!

Did a wine tasting without a reservation on a Saturday, tried 5 wines which we thoroughly enjoyed. The tasting service was great, really happy for all the wines to be poured and spoken about, then we could sit and chat amongst ourselves. Loved sitting on the couches. Only thing that I would provide feedback on were the children and adults kicking soccer balls around on the grassed area. As we were entering the cellar door, there were soccer balls being kicked and one almost landed on our heads as the ball dropped into the tunnel entrance. On our way out, there were different groups still playing with soccer balls.

This is my second time coming, everything was very well except for when my son is lactose intolerant. I have on purposely ordered no cheese on the angus beef burger. But they have still given the cheese. Which made him run to the bathroom almost immediately and it ruined the day. Even though the incident happened, he still loved the burger and other foods tasted outstanding.

Review is for restaurant: Absolutely fantastic place, industrial/rustic feel at its absolute best! This place has many different sections, perfect for weddings which we may even just have ours there. Owned by Italians. Service was really good, was greeted by possibly the owner to sit us down. Had the pizza and kids menu pasta and was really really nice. Definitely would love to try all the foods

An absolute hidden gem that always delivers - sensational food, service, staff in the most idyllic, tucked away location. It’s perfect spot for a lazy long Sunday lunch. David the manager is truly the host with the most - welcoming, attentive and full of charm. The entire team is incredibly friendly, courteous and professional , making the whole experience memorable. The service and food was exceptional. The new menu was a stand out - the duck with Grande Marnie sauce and truffle mash was rich and flavourful, while the carbonara pasta with beef cheek bacon was simply to die for. We also loved seeing the horses on the property - they wandered over for a scratch and a pat, adding a beautiful touch to the afternoon. ❤️ We can’t wait to return again soon! Thank you from Sue and Steve

Ten Minutes by Tractor is a renowned estate in the Mornington Peninsula, offering a curated culinary experience and cool-climate wines. The award-winning restaurant celebrates seasonal local produce with innovative dishes like seared kangaroo fillet and tail. The estate boasts an underground cellar, private dining rooms, an architectural cellar door, an outdoor terrace, and a casual wine bar.
What can I say — absolutely perfect! We enjoyed the 5-course seasonal menu and every dish was beautifully crafted and perfectly balanced. The whole experience felt special from start to finish. A huge thank you to Holly and Jasmine who helped me plan my proposal — they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Marcus, our waiter, was flawless in helping pull it all off, keeping everything relaxed and on track without missing a beat. Incredible food, world-class service, and a memory we’ll treasure forever. Could not recommend Ten Minutes by Tractor more highly.

The food was great and the front of house service was excellent. However the kitchen completely failed in terms of delivering the dishes with acceptable pacing. We arrived at 1pm. We had previously explained in the booking reservation, by personal phone call and then upon arrival we had 1 person with a mild mussel allergy but all other seafood was absolutely fine. The first dish of 3 entrees arrived and all had been “adapted” to avoid seafood entirely. We explained but it’s just mussels. All were replaced. Bad start. For the next 3 and a half hours we were only served entrees. Our first of 2 mains (the duck) arrived at 430pm. It did state on the website the degustation lunch is a 4 hour experience but at 430pm my expectation is to be finishing dessert and thinking about a farewell coffee. We complained at this point and it was very well handled by front of house stuff who agreed it was not acceptable, apologised profusely and gave us some compensation. Full accountability taken on board. The rest of the meal was delivered more promptly and we were out before 6pm. Almost 5 hours is a long lunch! Agree with some comments here that the atmosphere and setting is probably a bit underdone for the level of sophistication they are striving for and we are paying for.
Mark S — Google review
If I could give more stars I would. Booked the tasting menu as a surprise for my mom’s 60th, they called me the night before as I mentioned I wanted to pay. Payment was easy and they asked about the smaller details, such as my mom’s name etc. made her a birthday card and even a candle with a small free desert. Food and wine were amazing!! Service was great friendly and attentive without being over the top.

[2025-09-05] A special occasion called for a long lunch, and special it was. We picked the eight-course Élevage menu and the food was seriously good. The kitchen accommodated our time constraints, so we were seated for closer to 3.5 hours than the recommended 4. Others have critiqued the pacing and I was apprehensive going in, but it made sense on the day and may have felt rushed if condensed much further. The portion sizes are reasonable, so the five-course menu is a good option if you are short on time. Much appreciation to the staff for catering to dietaries and our schedule. I just wish we could have visited when there was a better view of the vineyard!

We recently celebrated a special family occasion at Ten Minutes by Tractor, and it exceeded every expectation. We booked the Hamilton Room, which was absolutely perfect for our group of 14 – intimate enough to feel special, yet spacious enough for everyone to enjoy themselves comfortably. We opted for the Terroir degustation menu, and I can honestly say the food was nothing short of incredible. Each dish was a masterpiece, with flavour combinations that were completely unexpected yet utterly delicious. The presentation was first class – every plate looked like a work of art. The service was impeccable throughout the entire evening. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and their wine recommendations were spot-on, elevating the entire dining experience to the next level. The pacing between courses was ideal – plenty of time to savour each dish and enjoy conversation, with generous portions that left everyone satisfied. From the initial booking process to the final farewell, every member of the Ten Minutes by Tractor team demonstrated exceptional professionalism and genuine care. The front-of-house staff, servers, and chefs all contributed to making this such a memorable occasion. If you’re looking for a venue for a special celebration or simply want to experience world-class dining in a beautiful setting, I cannot recommend Ten Minutes by Tractor highly enough. Thank you to the entire team for an amazing experience! Highly recommended for: Special occasions, family celebrations, wine lovers, fine dining enthusiasts

Tamika & the team at 10mbt are exceptional. I've never had a single negative thing to say about my experiences here. It's the second time coming here and it's always felt like home. A higher class of living sure, but they've got everything sorted for you upon arrival and I'll recommend this place to anyone when they want to have an incredible dining experience

We’ve been here before and had some good experience but this time was really disappointing. This is supposed to be the highlight of our Mornington wine trip with some overseas visitors but end up dissatisfying our guests. The environment is more casual than the past, no white table cloth and some stain on the seats, not a fine dining atmosphere. Food was good as expected but then took 4 hours to finish a 3 course lunch, can’t imagine if we took up the 5 course set. Worst of all is the service, ill trained staff (for a fine restaurant), rude and made us fell not welcome. After sitting down we had to ask the waiter twice before the sommelier came to the table, he had no smile and, when asked, didn’t bother to explain the difference between Estate Pinot Noir vs Wallis. He was also rude with his approach as he cut between my guest and myself when we were discussing the wine list with his hand on the table and back to my guest, he didn’t come back to ask us to a second bottle after our glasses were empty. The waiter just recited the dishes very quickly and rushes away, again no attempt to smile or explain a bit more. We’re anxious to leave quickly as soon all is done. I seldom give poor review but given this is one of the top restaurant (suppose to be) there are high expectations from guests, want to provide some improvement suggestions.

My wife and I experienced the five course dining option as a Sunday lunch. The food was exceptionally well presented, really flavoursome, and exceeded our expectations. All of the wait staff were really attentive (without being intrusive) and very friendly - it was obvous from their demeanour they enjoyed their work. The environment is light-filled, inviting and comfortable, with spanning views of the surrounding countryside, through large windows - we found it added to the experience. We have added this restaurant to our list of favourites.

We had an amazing experience for our anniversary. The food and wine were excellent and the atmosphere and view was phenomenal. A special thanks to Jordan, the sommelier who guided us through a wonderful wine tasting before lunch. His knowledge and passion for the wines added so much to the experience. Our waiter (whose name I unfortunately can't remember) was also fantastic, attentive, friendly and made sure we had a great afternoon. Thank you Levantine Hill for making our anniversary so memorable. We can’t wait to return!

☑️ Beautiful place. Absolutely stunning. The ambience and atmosphere inside and out is incredible. ☑️ All our dishes were solid. The portions are small and the prices high though. We weren’t full. Nothing really had a WOW factor though. But it was fine. ❎ The service wasn’t particularly great. The guy at the front desk was very accommodating but the waiters were far from attentive. Weird though the girl (British accent) couldn’t stop talking about everything with the people in front of us right down to how much the new section cost but every time we tried to signal her for water or even to look at a dessert menu or order coffees she was non existent. We didn’t order dessert, couldn’t even get someone to get us the bill and had to go to the front to sort it out. Mind you it was very quiet and there were many people around. Pretty substandard for a place which is fine dining. Still a beautiful place. Perhaps an off day.

Disappointed and Overpriced – Not Worth It! I had high expectations for Levantine Hill Estate, but sadly it was a big letdown. The food was very underwhelming – flavors were bland and not worth the premium pricing. I was shocked to see a single skewer of lamb priced at $18. Seriously? For that price, I expected something amazing, but it was just average at best. Overall, extremely disappointed. Definitely not coming back. There are far better places in the Yarra Valley that offer both great food and value for money. 😤

We didn’t make a booking and the manager on the day organised table for us to dine in. Absolutely above and beyond service standards. Even more, the food is beyond phenomenal, almost licked the plate! Must visit if you are in the area.
Amy L — Google review
The tasting at the cellar door was informative and well executed by Ken, who acknowledged that we were there celebrating a birthday and gave us an extra pour of the sparkling rose which was delicious. Lunch as expected was good and of quality. We had the scallops and beef manti for entree and the fish and lamb as mains. The only minor criticism is that the lamb was a touch overdone. An overall good experience at an establishment of this calibre.

Highly recommended by our friends so we chose to book here at Levantine Hill to celebrate our anniversary with our young boys. What a beautiful experience it was, we had a wine tasting session with Heather who was so lovely, we really enjoyed listening to the background history of the family whilst sipping on our wines. It really makes the experience that much more special when the service is outstanding. It’s very important to have staff who love the work they do because it really does shine through. McKenzie, a special shout out to you too for going out of your way to offer to take beautiful photos for us today, thank you once again. The food was delicious full of culture and flavour. The venue is simply elegant and we’re very much looking forward to the hotel opening up next year. We'll definitely be back again ♥️

Rochford Wines Yarra Valley is a renowned winery and restaurant located in the tranquil and picturesque Yarra Valley. The winery offers a wide variety of wine tasting experiences, along with its acclaimed Isabella's Restaurant, cellar door, and shop. Additionally, it features purpose-built facilities such as a conservatory, pavilion, amphitheater, and lakeside deck for hosting outdoor concerts, summer food and wine festivals, as well as other functions and events.
Barbecued quail and Confit Duck for the win! The Sous Vide Lamb Shoulder was also good, very tender! Our server Josel was the best! He was very accommodating, had extensive knowledge of the food and the different wines, and had a good overall wonderful customer service! Look for him when you go there. He is the friendliest and the most hard-working waiter. Can cover a lot of customers/tables swiftly and efficiently! Oh, they also have gin tasting aside from wine tasting!

On a recommendation we went for lunch at Isabella’s. We were greeted and treated like royalty by Josel(alias James Bond), his attention to detail and friendly approach made our experience all the more enjoyable. The meals were quite generous helpings and thoughtfully prepared. The choices on the menu were diverse.

The last stop in our wine tour finished with another good selection of wine for tasting. It's another well oiled commercial wine producer. They were understanding that this was our fourth and last stop, providing us with a long table and chairs to sit on while doing our wine tasting (the prior 3 others had us standing and tasting). Likely to avoid any of us being imbalanced and falling. 😂 Again, another good selection of wine but externally, nothing outside the building that's unique to enjoy.
Layar J — Google review
If you are coming for a day trip, wine tasting, social group, you should have a good time, it's got a lovely atmosphere. If you join a tour, your tour guide will be able to arrange a main course, chips and a glass of wine for $50, which is better value than ordering separately. The wine tasting venue is this beautiful underground facility and we ate slow cooked beef, duck and fish and entree is quail.
Janet T — Google review
This weekend, hubby and I booked a Yarra Valley tour to play tourists in our own city. We love this region—visit multiple times a year—and wanted to see it through the eyes of a first-timer. Unfortunately, our first stop was Rochford… and it was a letdown from the start. As a passionate wine lover who’s tasted across Australia, NZ, Europe, South Africa and beyond, I’ve never come across a wine tasting that felt this lifeless. The lady running our tasting clearly didn’t want to be there—zero enthusiasm, no passion, and visibly irritated when asked questions. It was a quick, clinical pour-and-go with barely any interaction apart from a rehashed line. What’s worse? We had to spend more time at their shop than at the tasting itself—which says a lot. Even then, the lady took 10 minutes to ring up my husband’s wine purchase and had to make calls to work out their system. The vibe was cold, the space was sterile, and the wines were underwhelming. It honestly made me so sad. You could tell no one in the Go West tour group enjoyed it. And it breaks my heart that this might be a tourist’s only taste of the Yarra Valley (as apart from the gin distillery this particular tour doesn’t visit any other wineries, wild isn’t it???), when this region has so much to offer in warmth, quality, and character. Rochford just didn’t show up.

Beautiful estate in Geelong, planted new vines and creating a flight of wines with a variety of flavor profiles across multiple grape types. We had a lovely chat with Erika at the cellar door and she was very helpful in explaining what each of the current wine varietal’s objectives are. The estate also hosts perfect weddings - indoors or out and also has an external train bar. Beautiful views, estate and young wines on a sunny winter day in late July. Memorable. Thanks again Erika from Sweden for the blessing us with this day!

Beautiful spot to overlook the vineyard and water in the back. We sat outside which had undercover seating and enjoyed a great meal overlooking the stunning views. The standout dish was of course the lamb blackstrap and surprisingly the focaccia - the braised short ribs was also good. Service was great too!

New to the Bellarine? Well, it is a must see, eat, drink and celebrate place to be! We’ve been to many places, and Terrindah Estate Winery is on top of my to go list! Quantity and quality deserves a 5 star, and well presented by the lovely staff. A shout out to Laura too! You are welcoming, approachable and definitely made us feel at home. We roamed around the open grass space, walked towards the Tram bar as we soaked the sun rays with a glass of wine in our hands. Afterwards we walked back to The Deck, where our table with a view awaits us. We ordered the house baked focaccia with whipped butter to start but don’t have too much or else you won’t have room for more! And believe me, the focaccia is scrumptious! Then we had the pan fried barramundi, slow braised short rib on risotto and the ravioli were all a hit! Match them up with salad and potatoes on the side. We finished off with chocolate mousse, panna cotta and classic tiramisu. So how was it?…..you ask. Well, my friends will be coming back and I am planning my next visit with family. If you are not convinced, please do visit them and try it. I am certain you will agree.

Yarrawood Estate Winery, established in 1996, is a family-owned vineyard located along the scenic Melba Highway north of Yarra Glen. The winery offers a serene setting with live music and delicious food, including grazing platters and meatballs. While some visitors found the service to be fair but inexperienced, others praised the friendly and accommodating staff. The menu features tasty options like lamb sliders, duck bao, and cheesecake.
The food and wine is exquisite, particularly the fish and the Pinot Noir. We were a group of over 30 people, and everyone left satisfied. Dining in a restaurant nestled among trees and greenery added to the unique experience for all of us. It was truly a perfect day. If you bring kids along, they will surely enjoy the calves and ducks on the property, as well as the expansive grounds to run and play. I would come back in a heartbeat!

Shingo T — Google review
Came here for good wine, food, ambience and yes, those were fine. But if you’re also looking for a masterclass in how not to do customer service, this is the place for you! Racism doesn’t belong anywhere and definitely not in hospitality, which is supposed to be about making guests feel welcome, not unwelcome The older gentleman was so rude you’d think we came here for insults instead of wine tasting. The lady wasn’t far behind, with “service skills” that could win an award in how to ruin someone’s afternoon. Heaters? Oh, they’re here just for decoration. Clearly, many reviews point out the same thing, yet management sits back and does nothing. At this rate, the 4-star rating will age like sour vinegar, not fine wine. If you enjoy being disrespected with your Pinot, go ahead and visit. Otherwise, Victoria has plenty of wineries that know how to treat customers like… customers. Don’t t want to drop their names here and everyone needs second, third and fourth chances but seriously mate lift up you game and same goes to few others there with glasses. If you don’t like what you are doing then don’t waste your time there find something else to do.

Ross, Anne and all the lovely staff really looked after us. We enjoyed the delicious food and beautiful views of the rolling hills & vineyards of the Yarra valley. The live music was a lovely touch and you can sit indoors or out outdoors under umbrellas. A perfect way to celebrates my dad’s birthday and we look forward to coming back. Had way too much fun with my friends at Yarrawood, our host was so funny and felt a bit like my grade 6 teacher (in a good and necessary way!) The vegan platter was so yummy, lots of lil olives and vegan cheese and dippy bits, and we loved the Chardonnay. I felt so fancy!! Best bit was the geese waddling around the vineyard - defs our fave stop of the day

Thoroughly enjoyed my recent visits to Yarrawood Estate. The staff are most welcoming, attentive and amiable. The meal and wine selection varied and satisfying. The mushroom gnocci is particularly delicious! I enjoy the warmth of the inviting, unpretentious spaces, seeing the work of local artists on the walls and seating arrangements that cater for both quiet conversation or a larger engaging gathering. The views are restful and calming and the wandering geese a punctuating delight!

Fiance & I had a lunch @ Yarrawood today. And wow! What delicious food. The Waitress was caring for our dietary requirements! And double checked with the Kitchen! There was a slightly older gentleman who offered both of us a quick sip of a wine we wanted to have, he was funny ~ quick witted & great. Then.. we met Charles. The wine man! Haha. Truly a friendly, caring and honest man. Loves what he does, no doubt! Thank you all.

We arrived with a booking made prior, and given the sunny day and beautiful weather expected to sit on the lawn. We could see 2-3 tables empty but the gentleman/ owner told us they have no table available. Lucky I managed to speak to one of the staff - a beautiful senior lady - whom not only gave us a table in the sun, but later also changed it to a bigger one to accommodate the food and drinks. Ordering was also a hassle and we had to wait for long to catch someone’s eye. Food and wine is okay - Tacos were great - and so is the view and the lady who made the whole experience pleasant for us - making heaps of conversation with my parents, who have newly arrived here - but if it wasn’t for her, this review would have sounded much different. I hope you guys appreciate her. Perhaps consider to smile more and accommodate more.

Highly recommend this hidden gem in the Yarra Valley! Beautiful setting, excellent wines, and friendly, knowledgeable staff. The food was also delicious! Can’t wait to visit again!

We had the pleasure of enjoying a truly delightful lunch today in celebration of a dear friend’s birthday. The cuisine was nothing short of exquisite, and the service was impeccable—our waiter’s warmth and attentiveness made us feel genuinely welcome and added a memorable touch to the occasion. The seating offered a lovely view, which made the experience all the more special. We shall most certainly return. Un grand merci for such a wonderful experience.

Worth trying the Andre Cab sav. its memorable. The John Dory done simply with butter and peppercorns was just yummy. Great staff, gorgeous restaurant and cellar in parklike grounds overlooking a small lake.

Came here after a disappointing lunch at a nearby winery, and we are SO glad we did. The chicken liver pate was delicious and already better than our whole lunch experience. Wines were delicious, left with a few bottles. The Andre is definitely worth trying. Orange cake was good and moist. Overall would come back here again (and for a full meal next time)

Stunning location with picturesque views and very easy access from the main road. We met with a large group which was well catered for. Wines were delicious. We were treated by the history of the winery which originated in France. Absolute must to visit. Gluten free options were aplenty along with very friendly wait staff.

Lovely location to meet up with friends and family. The food is really good. We had the share plate. Some dishes can be substituted for the GF and Vegans in the group. The wines are quite nice. I’m not a big wine drinker but I really enjoyed the Pinot Noir. Nice place to go during a cold winters day.

A modern and elegant space, Vue on Halcyon is perfect for couples who love their food and wine. With a rustic feel, this venue is the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. It's located in Chirnside Park, just over 30 minutes away from Melbourne.
Choosing Vue on Halcyon to hold our wedding is definitely the right choice 💯. Vue is truly a hidden gem!! We both fell in love with Vue as soon as we stepped into Vue. Our guests, including our pastor, cannot stop saying that Vue is a really beautiful venue. Rennae & Georgia were very helpful throughout the planning process, and they were very accomodating. We asked to start our ceremony earlier as we require 1 hour for our holy matrimony service and they were able to accomodate that. Rennae, Georgia & Dean also helped us with assembling our decor as we had lots of DIY, including helping with assembling Josh's DIY-ed 2.1m-tall cross which we used as our ceremony/ holy matrimony backdrop (see photos). Dean was also such a superstar on the day, helping with lots of things efficiently & ensuring our wedding ran smoothly. Aside from the people, the alpacas were also something unique to Vue 🦙. Jane was definitely captivated by the alpacas - and they're definitely one of the biggest reasons we chose Vue! Our wedding day was truly magical and we can confidently say it was one of the best day of our lives (just look at how stunning the photos are! Photos are by @kairosworks.au) We really wanted to gatekeep Vue as a wedding venue, but we just can't - it's just too good!!

Amazing Venue with a breathtaking view of their vineyard. We love serving Bubble Tea there and the staff were super friendly and always offer to help us unload our van or offer us a drink on a hot day. Love coming here. They really put alot of love and attention into their work, which is why they only do one wedding a day. Loads of parking.

Treated ourselves to a beautiful winters lunch at Vue on Halcyon and it did not disappoint! The fireplace created such a warm space and once coupled with the beautiful wine and stunning food we could not stop smiling! The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel so welcome. We were told to keep an eye out for the Alpaca's on the way out and took the opportunity for a pat and a photo. Such a wholesome day, well done to the team menu was delicious!

We chose to have our wedding at Vue on Halcyon because we fell in love with the stunning chapel. It's so convenient to have the ceremony chapel and reception hall all at the same place, set in the a gorgeous vineyard in Yarra Valley. It was a smooth process from day 1 touring the venue, to booking, planning and finally the big day. We can't thank Dean, Rennae and the whole Vue team enough for being super responsive to emails and questions, and all your professionalism working with our vendors. Your hard work behind the scenes on the day did not go unnoticed! Vue on Halcyon is such a hidden gem wedding venue in the Yarra Valley, we would recommend it to any couples who want an outstanding experience.

Mesmorizing place. One for the memories. The endless fields and hills. The service from the team there are phenomenal. The trees before you enter and the peaceful chapel. Life important events deserve a place like this. Unforgettable.

We got married at Vue in July and couldn’t speak more highly of this venue. The communication in the lead up was timely, professional and it was clear how much they genuinely cared. Dean, Rennae and Georgia were amazing to work with, it is clear they have been doing this for a long time and we trusted them whole heartedly with our special day. The venue was gorgeous even on our winter day and everything ran so smoothly, we were able to sit back and enjoy our night knowing that we were in safe hands. We wouldn’t change a thing!
Kathleen W — Google review
From the very beginning, the team at Vue on Halcyon made us feel completely at ease. We were looking for a down to earth indoor venue that felt cosy, with passionate staff & could comfortably host over 100 guests - and you delivered on all fronts. Dean, Renae, and Georgia were an absolute dream to work with: always available, incredibly organised, and so passionate about making sure everything ran smoothly. With a huge number of dietary requirements, we can only imagine how complex the catering must have been, but the kitchen absolutely nailed it - the food was delicious and beautifully presented. And the wine? Just stunning! We felt so looked after throughout the evening and cannot thank you enough for creating the perfect backdrop for our big day. While we ran out of time to take photos with the alpacas, the rest of the day was fabulous, Planning and execution? 10/10. We would recommend you without hesitation.

My partner and I came in for breakfast over the weekend and had the most wonderful time, the venue is just gorgeous we are 100% considering this for our wedding venue so beautiful! The coffee and chai were both lovely, my partner loved the big breakfast and I loved the eggs Benedict, everything was so tasty and well cooked. The staff were all so sweet and very friendly, the owner Dean was so bubbly and very quick to show us around their gorgeous venue, we can’t wait to come back!

Main Ridge Estate is a family-run winery located in Mornington, known as the region's first commercial winery. Established in 1975, it boasts stunning views of bush-clad valleys and offers a serene setting for wine tasting. The estate is renowned for its consistently good wines, particularly its exquisite Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Beautiful Estate. Very welcoming staff and lovely dog. My partner and I aren't wine drinkers and this was our first ever wine tasting experience. We paid $20 per person for the wine tasting (5 different wines. If you like cheese, for $30 per person you get a cheese board and olives), and we enjoyed it and learned a lot about how wine is made and what to look for in different kind of wines.

We had a wonderful time at Main Ridge Estate yesterday. A unique and memorable moment was when my ring accidentally fell off the deck—but within seconds, the team came to help us search for it. Their kindness meant so much to us, as the ring was very special. Such a lovely and thoughtful team. Highly recommended!

This place really is a hidden gem amongst the larger overt wineries on the penislnsula. The outlook from the restraunt over the vineyard is stunning. While being sheltered from the winds of the area. There are some truly amazing wines on offer of particular note is the merlot and the pinot gris, both super interesting and unlike similar varieties of the region. The restraunt is absolutely phenomenal from the service to the quality of the food and variety. In particular the grilled octopus and the steak is stunning. The way in which the menu is set also allows you to relax and enjoy multiple courses as they come and will leave you feeling truly satisfied in terms of the quality, presentation and quantity of the food offered. My wife and I spent several hours grazing and sipping wine. A huge bonus for us was how accommodating the venue is for dogs and the effort taken to ensure everyone's (fury friends included) comfortable. The vineyard dog Archie is the happiest little guy and loves a pat. Take the road less travelled and you won't be disappointed with this beautiful bespoke winery and restaurant. I'll be going back...

Main Ridge Estate is a peaceful, charming, and inviting winery. We enjoyed a wine tasting accompanied by a selection of their cheeses, which we devoured! The highlight of our visit was being greeted by Archie the Westie. We fell in love with this little spot and will definitely be back for more. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Exceptional food, wine, and atmosphere. Our visit over the weekend was an absolute delight. The food was truly outstanding — every dish showcased incredible flavour, creativity, and attention to detail. Each course was perfectly balanced and complemented the wines beautifully, making it clear that a lot of thought has gone into crafting the menu. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect — stunning views, a relaxed yet refined atmosphere, and a sense of harmony between the food, wine, and surroundings. The staff were professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do, which added so much to the overall experience. An unforgettable dining experience that exceeded all expectations. We left feeling incredibly grateful and already looking forward to returning.

Nestled just outside the picturesque Yarra Valley, Kellybrook Winery is a beloved destination for both locals and visitors alike. Known primarily for its exceptional ciders crafted using the traditional champagne method, this charming winery also offers a delightful selection of premium wines and craft beers. The welcoming cellar door invites guests to savor tastings while enjoying the serene surroundings of gardens and ancient oak trees.
Absolutely delightful ! The surroundings were beautiful as was the venue , fortunately we were blessed to be there on a warm , sunny Autumn Day ! Kellybrook is not a la carte dining but the offer delicious cheese boards , charcuterie boards and dips . The service was excellent , particularly by our young waiter . Highly recommended

My partner and I (and our golden retriever) visited Kellybrook this weekend. We drove for an hour to this winery, and it was worth it! We had a few of the hot plates, a wine tasting, and a cheese board. It was perfect, as we enjoy smaller, share plates. All of the food was delicious, especially the hot baked cheese. The staff were also really good. They were warm, friendly, knowledgable and so accommodating to our pet. The fire in the living room was also a nice feature to a really cold and wet afternoon. We will be back! Thanks for a great afternoon!

The wine tasting- so hard to choose which one I liked best. All the varieties are excellent. We were advised well by the cellar door ladies. The platters- also really delicious and generous servings.. We thoroughly enjoyed our birthday/hens day experience. And the garden.. An amazing old oak tree 👌🏻👌🏻

We booked a lunch for my partners 40th birthday at Kellybrook. We’ve lived in the area for a long time but had never visited before - I can’t believe we had missed this place for so long! Firstly, Jenny was extremely accommodating and responsive with my booking inquiry. We were seated up near the beautiful old oak tree - it was a bit of a distance from the actual venue but this was explained to us and we had no issues with the walk up and down (in fact, our children delighted in going up and down and playing the lawn games provided, too). The venue itself is beautiful , and our seating area was shady and private and the perfect setting for an afternoon with wine and cheese. We had the sharing feast platter menu - the bread and crackers kept getting refilled by the staff, the charcuterie board was delicious (the salmon a stand out!) and the cheeses and dessert board were exceptional. We were able to bring a cake for the birthday boy and the staff were all extremely helpful and super friendly. Already planning our next trip back! Food - YUM Drinks - delicious Venue/gardens - absolutely gorgeous.

Kellybrook was an absolute delight during our visit for the Shortest Lunch festival! The old oak tree from 1890 added a charming historical touch, and the live music on the balcony was enchanting. The beautiful dining room and outdoor seating overlooking the vineyard were perfect for relaxing. We loved learning about the three generations of the Kellybrook family involved in the winery. Their Traditional Method Blanc de Blanc was a standout. Despite being a smaller winery, it offers an intimate and welcoming atmosphere that stands out. A must-visit!

Lovely hampers of cheese and bread with a great selection of wine to try. Our dog was allowed to join us outside too which was great. Staff were very friendly and accomodating, and there's lovely gardens out the back, with a great seating area under a huge tree for larger groups. Ample car park spaces and definitely worth a visit!

The Marnong Estate Winery restaurant is a place where you can enjoy a delicious meal while sitting in the vineyards. The menu includes items like steak and lamb chops, but there are also plenty of options for vegetarians. There's even a kids' menu if you're with the family. The wine list is extensive, and you can choose to drink your wine either on site or take it home with you.
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, every dish was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with quality ingredients. The service was also impressive, efficient, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. It made the whole dining experience smooth and enjoyable. A fabulous winery experience! This place is perfect not only for wine tasting but also for coffee, lunch, or even hosting special events. The Italian food was delicious and complemented the great selection of wines beautifully. The views are absolutely stunning—an ideal spot to relax and unwind. Families will love it too, as kids can enjoy watching the peacocks, camels, ostriches, and other animals wandering around the grounds. Overall, it’s a beautiful venue with a welcoming atmosphere, excellent food and wine, and plenty to see and do. A true hidden gem that I’d happily recommend to anyone.

Myself and my wife love this venue, we got married at Mornong. This time around we stayed for the night , done the wine tasting and went to 3064 for dinner. The wine tasting was great fun, wine was great and service was great, the cheese platter was lovely. Went our for dinner to 3064 the dinner overall was great except the 4 cheese pasta., it was so bland and still had that flour taste where the ru was not cooked properly, would expect better. With the rooms nice and cosy but really need to update the TV's in the rooms. Once you have dinner and go back to then room not much else to do but curl up and watch a nice movie. Only problem is no streaming on the Tv's and not new enough to crome cast so your stuck with free to air. I know its not a big deal but sort of gives the cheap feel to the venue.Still love Marnong but!!

Russo Estate Winery, located in Diggers Rest, Victoria, is a stunning venue for weddings and special events. The estate offers various picturesque settings for ceremonies, including by the tiered waterfall or under one of their beautiful arches. Just a 40-minute drive from Melbourne, this family-owned vineyard provides wedding packages starting at $1,500 for hire and $85 per head for dinner. Guests have praised the venue's breathtaking backdrop and impeccable service.
I found the meals to be generous and delicious and the menu catered for all tastes..... it was very Mediterranean inspired. My only negative would be that there were not many options for patrons with dietary requirements. Loved the Friday night Cocktails and the live entertainment was great. The friendly team provided outstanding service and nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning. We had the beef cheeks with sweet potato crisps the chicken scallopini and Lasagna.

Got an email advertising $22 steak on Thursday night. Decide to go check it out as the last time I went there was before covid. Sad to say both service and food quality has went down. Steak was chewy and bland by itself, sauce wasnt any good either. The sticky date pudding tasted burnt on the surface. Not sure why staff is always in a rush to take away the plates. We also had to remind them about our takeaway food.

Coming down the long drive in the dark was a little confusing, but the place itself was lovely inside. Service was warm and friendly, and the steak was quite good, and the veggies were nicely cooked too. The mushroom sauce isn't a typical creamy sauce but I still enjoyed it. The Panna Cotta was quite nice as well, though set a little firm for my taste. The wine was excellent.

As a local Yarra Valley wedding photographer, I highly recommend Stones of the Yarra Valley. The venue offers incredible views for stunning photos at multiple locations across the property, creates unforgettable memories for your guests, and is completely safe for all season of the typical Melbourne weather. Ceremony outdoors in the gardens, or indoors at the chapel, you have a very hard choice to make! The staff ensures a stress-free planning experience, communication on point between vendors, so you don't have to be the middle man on the day of the wedding, and the delicious food/wine will leave everyone satisfied. With on-site accommodations that feel like Tuscany, Stones consistently delivers an exceptional wedding experience. What more could you ask for? I cannot wait to come back to Stones again this year and capture more love stories for my couples. Thank you Stones!

Having our wedding at Stones has always been a dream of ours. We were so blessed to be able to have our amazing day at this gorgeous venue and I can't speak highly enough of it. Stones is the whole experience, everything about the venue is just perfection! We can't rate the staff highly enough. The food at Stones is also amazing. Alana was our wedding coordinator and she was an absolute angel. No question was ever too much, she was so attentive and always willing to help with anything. Over the time that we were planning we were communicating so much that by the time we met, we felt like we had known her for forever. One of the genuinely saddest parts was saying bye. All the other staff at Stones were just as amazing. Emma & Jasmine looked after us all so well on the day and they made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We were fortunate to be able to hire the Farmhouse and the Villa for us and our guests to stay at. All we can say is - wow! The accommodation at Stones is stunning! If you have the aopportunity to, book yourselves a stay there. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to each and everyone of you at Stones. We came across so many other staff members but don't know their names, however every single one of you made us feel so special and welcomed at the venue. We just got back home from a three-night memorable stay at Lancemore Linderberry Red Hill. We had great time there even though it is the height of winter. There're so many things to do, there're plenty of options to keep cosy and warm: Open fire places, firepits outside, sauna, warm spa and pool, lovely vibe at various drawing rooms with open fire place for a quiet read while sipping tea/wine. There're quite a few options for both indoor and outdoor activities for kids. The room we stayed is very clean with a lovely view. The restaurants and the cellar door offer delicious foods. The staffs are amazing. They are all so helpful and lovely. They went out of their way to assist. The whole place is located in the arguably most beautiful part of the Mornington Peninsula where a day trip can take you to a wide repertoire of lovely places.

My reason for 4 is primarily due to service to the room, I’m probably being picky but I do expect pillows to be placed on the bed the right way around. Time for coffee and only one coffee sachet and I thought ok it may be strong enough to make two cups of coffee, but when picking up the coffee plunger there was a used sachet in it, so off to find staff to get the extra sachet. On using the bathroom I found that there wasn’t a toilet roll on the holder, thankfully one in the cupboard. On relating these things to reception the lovely receptionist kept apologizing and handed me an extra toilet roll. Other than that the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Dinner was amazing, we chose the a la carte menu which some might think for the price they weren’t big servings. I was prepared for that as with being a 2 hatted restaurant I mentioned to my husband that entree would be a mouthful and main would be the size of an entree. We did accompany the main with the roast potatoes and salad which we shared and found that we were well sated, to finish we had a dessert which was also fabulous. Congratulations to your chef and also the wait staff who couldn’t have looked after us better. It was nice to wander around and find sitting rooms to use rather than stay in our room, and the gardens surrounding the building are very pleasant. If you are inclined there is a good sized interior swimming pool and a tennis court, my husband mentioned a Billiard table, I didn’t see it, but that would have been fun.

We had a lovely midweek getaway at Lancemore Lindenderry. The booking and check-in process were seamless, and while the property is a bit older, it has a charming, welcoming feel. Our room was comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed strolling around the grounds, playing billiards, and relaxing by the pool and jacuzzi. The highlight was the breakfast which was included in our reservation— a delicious cooked menu with a continental buffet. Easily the best hotel breakfast we’ve had in Australia or abroad! Thank you to all the lovely staff too.

We enjoyed a peaceful retreat at this spot. The heated pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxation, complemented by cozy fires and spiced wine. The outdoor thermal baths offered a unique experience. Everyone working there was welcoming and attentive.

Great food from chef, however, we ordered half a bottle of red wine to share between three people, and did made it clear while ordering. However, one person had gone to the restroom, and during that time, the waiter poured it into two glasses. Then we informed the waiter that the wine was meant to be shared among the three of us. The waiter then poured the remaining wine into the third glass, but it wasn't enough, so he topped it off from another bottle. In the end, we got charged for an extra single glass, even though part of it came from the original half bottle we ordered. Also when we checked into the hotel room, the wine glasses still had marks from being used, but they hadn't been changed yet.

It was a beautiful property in wine country. As much money as we spent for the night $600 USD… I’d expect bell hop, welcome drink, and valet service. It was a non event stay. Breakfast was delicious. The grounds were great. We enjoyed the wine.

Nestled between Yarra Glen and Healesville, Meletos is a regional cafe housed in charming farm buildings with high gabled ceilings. The restaurant offers modern European fine dining with panoramic views of the surrounding vineyards. It is part of the Stones of the Yarra Valley property and shares its space with the Napoleone Brewery & Ciderhouse. The menu celebrates local produce, featuring wood-fired pizzas, regional Victorian delights, and a variety of snacks and larger seasonal dishes.
The lady at the antique shop in Yarra Glen recommended Meletos to us—and she was absolutely right! What a stunning place. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive. We went with the banquet for two, and every dish was spot on—fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. The ambience is charming, with rustic elegance and beautiful views all around. Highly recommend making a stop here if you’re in the area!

Took my partner here for lunch to celebrate his Birthday. It is a stunning spot, great atmosphere, great food and the staff were lovely. We noticed strait away the size of the tables! Not often you get a decent sized table for 2 people, really happy with that. The food was spectacular, well presented and delicious. I found it to be a little overpriced, but it was a special occasion and a once off

Beautiful venue with lovely setting and view. Service was great during dinner. The entrees tasted delicious, but main course were under seasoned and lacked flavour, especially the gnocchi dish, it was cold and tasted like fried bread. Not so tender beef ribs served with raw onion on top. The broccolini side dish was stringy and undercooked. For the price I expected the food to be much better.

I've been to Meletos in Yarra Valley Coldstream a number of times now, and the food has always been superb—consistently delicious and well-presented. It's a beautiful venue that offers a great atmosphere, especially for winery set lunches. However, my last two visits left me a bit disappointed, particularly when attending special occasions like a birthday and a bridal hens lunch. Unfortunately, they don’t allow decorations like balloons—even when tied discreetly behind a chair. While I understand the concern about them floating up to the ceiling in the barn-style setting, it would’ve been helpful if this policy was clearly noted on their website. Many people choose winery venues for celebratory events, so it’s worth mentioning upfront. I understand some restaurants have a cakeage charge which is another thing to be aware of at Melatos, there is the cakeage fee per person if you bring your own cake and use their cutlery, which we weren’t informed about until we arrived. On our most recent visit, the service also felt stretched. The floor manager seemed quite stressed and was a bit impatient with our group. The venue was very busy, and we didn’t have a consistent waiter—which made things disjointed. Requests like an extra fork, condiments for fries, or even getting a new drinks menu took multiple reminders or were forgotten altogether. While the venue and food are always a highlight, I think the experience could be improved by clearer communication of policies and more attentive, consistent service—especially on busy days.

The restaurant is lovely and the service was excellent. However, there has been a noticeable change in the menu — most of the dishes are now cooked with wine, and unfortunately, there are very limited (or no) options available for Muslim diners. Some previous items, including certain pizzas and pasta dishes, have been removed from the menu. This limits the dining experience for those with dietary restrictions.

We had a wonderful experience at Meletos. The staff are lovely and friendly, making you feel welcomed from the moment you walk in. Professional and prompt. We were lucky we didn’t have to wait for a table! Although their menu isn’t vast, the quality of the food is superb. Our dishes were flavoursome and cooked perfectly. I simply cannot fault it. The atmosphere is lovely, not too loud and the venue itself is bright and spacious. We walked outside after our lunch and the views are amazing!

Food. Amazing. We ordered chicken liver with crispy bread & fig. Chicken liver was Tasty, salty, creamy, reminds me of a foie gras. The fig was so fresh, sweet and delicious. We also ordered duck ragu, with pappardelle, super juicy duck, not smelly, and the cheese was also good. Place was really great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Clean and very nice view. Service was good. Serving time was perfect, staff were nice, always smiling and asked us if the food was Ok and if we have any feedback.

On my 2 week holiday in Melb, I went to Meletos 3x. I drove straight to the restaurant from the airport to meet my family there, where we had the King Dory (top right of 1st pic) and the texture was amazing. Our memory of the KD was so fond that we scheduled another visit a week later where we were disappointed to hear that the KD was currently being replaced by Barramundi. Still, we ordered it to try and as expected, it was not as good. We decided to make another visit on the day I was to fly home and called ahead to ask if KD was on the menu for the day - the lady on the phone said no. We decided to go, nonetheless, and order other dishes like the duck ragu and the lamb neck which were really good the previous visits. Upon arriving, we asked the server if KD was available, and she said yes. We confirmed not once, not twice, but a total of 4 times including when the dish arrived and even after we had started tasting it to know it was for sure not KD. The server was adamant that it was KD even though we knew that it was Barramundi, but she said she would check with the kitchen. When she came back, she had claimed that the kitchen had made a switch to the menu and that she 'was not informed' by the kitchen - no apologies offered. She then said that they could have the items removed from the bill and that we could order other items if we should so desire - we decided to return one of the 2 plates of Barramundi (2nd and 3rd images). Her manager came to our table around 10 mins later and told us that while it is unfortunate that our items did not come as expected, because we 'have eaten' one of the plates, they would be unable to remove that from the bill. I would think that after asking them 4 times whether they are serving the correct item, that the very least they could do is leave the dish while writing it off. This is still not considering the fact that they were trying to substitute a cheaper fish for a more expensive dish. I did a walk around the other tables before we left and saw that a few other people had ordered the fish as well - no telling whether they were told it is King Dory or Barramundi. My sister resides in Melb and has been to Meletos no less than 10x in the past 3 years. I myself have been there a total of 5x in the past 3 years. It is disappointing to see an establishment that serves such good food be let down by this atrocious level of service. Both the server and the manager were not apologetic in the slightest and the manager was not subtle in hinting that the restaurant 'reserves the right to swap the fish'. Please do better.

Had a 2 night stay & dinner one night, breakfast on 2 mornings. Absolutely beautiful accommodation & surrounds. Room was luxurious & catered for every need. The staff were amazing, so helpful, friendly tho still professional. From Sky in reception when arrived, all the wait staff at breakfast, Mikael in the tasting room & everyone at dinner, especially our waitress, Ruby, to the ladies on reception when we checked out were exceptional. Breakfast & dinner were fantastic, could ask for better. Highly recommend the experience

We had a really lovely stay at Balgownie Estate Yarra Valley. The property is beautiful and relaxing, with gorgeous views that make it feel like a proper escape. The wine tasting was definitely a highlight – we chose the wine and chocolate pairing, which was such a fun and delicious experience. The staff made it easy to enjoy and learn a little along the way. Dinner was actually quite nice too. The creamy gnocchi and the steak were both cooked really well, and for dessert we chose the cobbler, which was a great way to finish the meal. Overall, the food turned out better than we expected and was enjoyable. The room was comfortable and a good place to unwind. The only downside was that the swimming pool and gym were closed during our stay, which was a bit disappointing. Still, we really enjoyed the atmosphere, wine, and food here, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Yarra Valley.

This being the second wine tour stop, my tongue has had a chance to settle down with the flavours. This place has had money spent to make it look comfortable and feel more modern. There's a lot of wood used and the building is huge. The dining area has a slick polished feel to it and I found the food (fish and pork pie) well prepared. It came hot and flavoured deliciously. Coupled with a good choice of wine, I had a good time here.

We had the most beautiful dinner at the restaurant - delicious food, generous portions, very well priced and a wide variety of menu options. The service from our waiter Jayden was what really made the night special. A lovely, personable, attentive young man with a terrific service style and personality - thank you for such a great job! Accommodation was also well appointed, spacious, quiet and spotlessly clean. Overall a very enjoyable evening and highly recommended.

We went to a Balgownie as one of our winery’s in a winery day out tour. We started off with the tasting and Genevieve was absolutely amazing! She was so nice and made the whole experience so much fun and enjoyable! We then had lunch and Shaelyn served us and she was so incredibly friendly and lovely and could not recommend both of them highly enough! We had the best experience thanks to these 2 lovely ladies!

The room and food was lovely, however…… The communication between staff / areas of the hotel were appalling. Vouchers to the spa required a booking number that wasn’t provided and no spots were available to use the voucher during the stay. Requested the rooms to have 4 king singles set up, which was confirmed on check in to have 2 king beds set up to sleep in. Prepaid 3 course dinner and booked a dining time upon arrival, only to rock up to dinner to find we didn’t have a booking. When checking out, they tried to charge extra for the prepaid meals.

CHANDON Australia, located in the Yarra Valley, stands out for its grand building and extensive selection of sparkling wines. Established in 1989 as part of Moet en Chandon's expansion strategy, it offers a unique French-inspired wining and dining experience. The winery boasts a large tasting room with a semicircular bar serving red, white, and sparkling wines for AUD$5 per tasting.
Wine was excellent. We took tasting experience. 3 different wines for 1 person. Sparkling wine was very good. Tastes rich, with very beautiful view. Service was really great. Staffs were friendly. Food was good. Although I expect more. Place in general was good, clean, and blessed with a heavenly view.

We accidentally stopped by Chandon Australia on our way to somewhere in the mountains, and it turned out to be a wonderful surprise! The views are absolutely stunning—feels like you pay hundreds but get a million-dollar experience. The architecture is beautiful and really adds to the atmosphere. The staff were all extremely friendly and provided superb service throughout our visit. We didn’t have a meal there since we were still full from lunch, but we did buy some wine to take home. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

We went to wine tasting on Friday. It was cold winter outside, but the staff at tasting room he welcomed us with warming smiles;) He was very informative and little charm. All sparkling wine were very excellent especially red sparkling was something unusual. We didn’t have lunch but we will plan to come back in warmer season. Thank you for lively service.

I am so glad we chose to visit Chandon. It offers a relaxing, family-friendly atmosphere with consistently great service. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were super accommodating. I really enjoyed the empanadas and the cold cuts—both were full of flavor. The wine was amazing, but the desserts didn’t quite hit the mark for me. Still, a great spot overall!😊
Ritchie D — Google review
First thing first, when I stepped into Chandon Australia, I actually thought I walked into an Asian wedding venue. Not even joking. I guess the crowd on that day just made it feel like I was back in Asia. Maybe because this place has gotten a bit too commercialised. It has that polished setup that feels like it was made for group tours and social media moments. But let’s talk about the food and drinks. I had the cheese fondue, and honestly, that was a very good choice. The texture was creamy, the flavours were rich, and it paired really well with their champagne. I did not expect that to be the highlight of my visit but it really was. Ambiance wise, it was beautiful. Big open views, nicely designed interiors, and plenty of space to sit and enjoy your drink without feeling rushed. You can tell they know people are coming for the photos just as much as the wine. Service was okay. Not bad but also not very personal. I guess that is what happens when a place gets too popular. Would I come back again? Maybe. Probably on a quieter weekday. It is still a lovely spot and the wine is no doubt good. But if you are hoping for something boutique and laid back, you might not get that here. Still, for a first visit with cheese fondue and champagne in hand, I would say it was a good afternoon out.

Chandon Winery is absolutely stunning 💫 a perfect mix of breathtaking views, beautiful grounds, and exceptional sparkling wine. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, making it such a lovely place to spend an afternoon. The tastings are a highlight, with each glass showcasing incredible quality, and the food is just as impressive. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. A must-visit winery in the Yarra Valley. 🥂🍇✨

My partner and I have been to wineries around the world, and this is one of our faves. The wines, notably the pinots and the 2025 rosé are top tier for their categories (and I usually hate rosé, but this was fantastic). James was an incredible guide for our tasting, displaying both passion and knowledge, and made our experience special, elevating Polperro to a top tier winery experience for us. The food is also pretty good and matches the wines well too. Cute space, cellar door, and deck overlooking the vines with nice views.

We had the three course lunch in the dining room yesterday on a very cold and wet November afternoon. Service was wonderful with plenty of helpful suggestions on each course and sides, offers of more of the amazing house made sourdough bread, and very attentive with tops to our wine glasses and sparking water. The food was creative, impeccably presented, and delicious. We enjoyed taking our time over lunch with a wonderful view over the vineyard watching the constant rain outside. 3/04/2025 Couple. Ordered the $59 set menu for lunch. Pumpkin Bread to start then bread with sardines. Great dishes but perhaps too much bread. Bread was baked well with a crispy and salty top which was very nice. Next up we had the eggplant which came with Asian flavours then the crispy fried barramundi wings. Eggplant done beautifully. Barramundi was very different and tasty but would have been improved with some greens. Pork belly to finish was delightful. All up, very nice lunch, good service, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. We were given an end seat on the shared tables so had the best views. Would recommend to others and would be happy to return in future

The staff were kind and patiently explained the menu to us, which made ordering very easy. We went for the feast (the classic Hare share menu $85 per pax) and ordered the portion for two to share among three of us ladies. The portion sizes were generous and we were all really full by the end of the meal. The highlights for me were the potato bread, zucchini with stracciatella mousse, the woodfired Lebanese eggplant, and the farro and lentil salad. Everything was flavourful and well prepared. The ambience was pleasant with large glass windows overlooking the vineyard, and it complemented the setting of dining at a winery. Overall, it was a good meal in a nice environment.

Food & wine were both absolutely nice. Their entres or small share plates were really the highlight. Mains were also ok but I think they were trying to keep the mains (e.g pork etc) very classic & plain whilst other dishes had more innovation and courage built into them. Definitely will try to come here again for the enteres and share plates.

Website says "Rustic charm & Contemporary Elegance. Experience the flavours of Italy amidst the picturesque vineyards of Mornington Peninsula". Well that truly summed up our experience of lunch at T'Gallant. It looks like a bunch of farm sheds set along an expansive beautiful vineyard! Step inside and we were greeted by such lovely friendly staff. The dining area where we had lunch was well appointed, clean and definitely delivered on rustic charm. Then came out the most delicious spread of food. We had pear and walnut salad with the most yummy soft cheese. The porcetta with crackle, delicious. Salmon on a bed of amazing crushed roasted garlic potatoes, delectable. Desert, deconstructed fruit filled pav, looked and tasted beautiful, and the preserved lemon parfait, scrumptious. Both desserts had a great balance of sweet creaminess and tartness/tanginess from the fruit. The coffee was also excellent, smooth and flavoursome. The wood fired pizza we saw other people having also looked amazing. Last but definitely not least the wines we tried were light, fresh, fruity and delicious, a Juliet moscato and a pinot grigio, highly recommend both. Overall a very enjoyable and memorable food and wine experience, we would come back anytime.

Attended for Friday lunch. Nice setup with homely welcoming feel. Staff are very attentive and friendly. Nice place inside (a bit chilly outside but would be great outside on a warmer day), many people but not loud and can have a conversation over the table. Food was top notch - gnocchi fluffy and delicious. Pizza simple but flavoursome and was great also. Pretty good set deal for $50 for pizza / bowl of chips / wine but chose a few individual items. Wine shop is good with great service also, and took a few bottles home. Highly recommend.

Delicious Food, Stunning Views, and Wonderful Value...... The description on their website — “Rustic charm & contemporary elegance” — couldn’t be more accurate. I visited T’Gallant Vineyard on the Mornington Peninsula for a weekday lunch and was absolutely delighted. Their weekday lunch deal is fantastic value: a large I chose Funghi pizza (with assorted seasonal mushrooms, pecorino, and mozzarella), a house side salad of frisée lettuce, shaved parmesan and preserved lemon dressing, plus chips with aioli — all accompanied by two glasses of wine, for just $50. The food was fresh, full of flavour, and perfectly paired with the wine. The friendly, welcoming staff made the experience even better, and the view over the rolling hills of grapevines was simply breathtaking. Watching the vines while sipping wine makes you truly appreciate how this humble plant creates something so smooth and elegant on the palate. T’Gallant is the perfect place to unwind, enjoy great food, and take in the beauty of the Mornington Peninsula. Highly recommend!

Great setting for this Winery/Restaurant. The place was busy given the time of year. The food was excellent. The wines and Prosecco was very good. Service was a little slow but they were busy. The staff were pleasant and tried to make us comfortable. If you're in the area and a looking for a Winery for tasting and for a good meal at a reasonable price I recommend to try T Gallant Vineyard.

Had lunch here today. Was seated in the cafeteria since the main was fully booked. A little cold room temp wise. Had to walk to order at the counter.

We had lunch and a wine tasting for two at T’Gallant Vineyard. The food was delicious and of a generous portion size. The wine was lovely, and the service was very friendly and fast. The view from the outdoor tables is also very pretty. We will definitely be coming back.

We had a fantastic experience at T’Gallant on Sunday. The gentleman who guided our wine tasting was engaging and knowledgeable and made the whole experience really enjoyable. The wines were fresh and delicious and his insights made them even better. The food was excellent and great value. We shared a few pizzas and the kitchen happily accommodated a vegan guest by providing vegan cheese which was much appreciated. Don’t be put off by older reviews. T’Gallant is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy good food and wine.

First visit here and it’s a beautiful setting. We managed to get a table outside looking over the vineyard, such a lovely setting. I’d like to give a big shout out to one of your great bar staff Joel. He recommended a wine for us which was just the type we wanted. Also ordered the mussels on his recommendation which didn’t disappoint. It was so nice that he took the time to come over to us once we had our food to check if all was ok and we were pleased with our choices. We watched him go to other tables while collecting glasses checking on other customers as well a very friendly chap. Well done Joel that’s what customer service is all about. Loved the setting and atmosphere here. Will be visiting again that’s for sure.

Yabby Lake Vineyard, located in Tuerong on the Mornington Peninsula, is renowned for its Heathcote Shiraz and a wide range of Mornington classics like Chardonnay and Pinot. The vineyard offers both single vineyard and everyday Red Claw bottlings. Visitors can enjoy wine tastings at the cellar door for a small fee that's redeemable with a wine purchase.
Gorgeous place. I had a dog with me and at the time didn’t realise I couldn’t walk through the restaurant to get to my table. However one of the staff graciously let me and mentioned where to go in the future. So for any fur parents, once you park your car be sure to walk around the restaurant. The service from the start was amazing, extremely attentive, warm and friendly. The food was delicious!! My dad had a special of the day which was some sort of meat pie on a bead of puréed pumpkin. He liked it, but said the pie lacked more sauce. Apart from that everything was delicious! The flavours we fresh and well seasoned, and everything cooked to perfection! The desserts also did not disappoint- chefs kiss good! The surrounding countryside and vine yards are beautiful and you can easily pass your time drinking with friend and watch the day go by! Even if you don’t manage a spot outside, you still get beautiful views from the inside. Thank you for a beautiful lunch! Look forward to coming back!

Deck seating, dog friendly and with a pleasant outlook. Service was friendly. Entrees and mains were all fine, quite well presented and good portions. Sides were not satisfactory and restaurant staff were apologetic and did not charge us for one of the sides (broccolini - they were quite tough and not well cooked/seasoned). The best dish we had that we really enjoyed was the quail. Confit duck was also nice. Wines were quite nice.

Sorry, but i tell a tale of Excellence and disappointment at Yabby Creek Winery Last weekend, we eagerly ventured to Yabby Creek Winery, a place that had been highly recommended for its wine and culinary offerings. Our experience was a rollercoaster of highs and lows, leaving us with mixed feelings about our visit. Upon arrival, we were greeted with an exceptionally warm welcome, setting the stage for what we hoped would be a memorable afternoon. The wine tasting was nothing short of superb. We started with the whites, which were well-structured and delightful, but it was the 2018 Shiraz from Heathcote that truly stole the show. Its rich, bold flavors were a testament to the winery's commitment to quality. As we transitioned from our tasting to our meal and entrees, the excitement began to wane. The baby spinach and smoked scamorza arancini, aioli, daikon, and apple salad, while not what we expected, turned out to be a cracking surprise—and flavorful. However, the seared bluefin tuna, blood orange, which looked visually impressive, was disappointingly laser cut and lacked the punch we anticipated. But the smoked duck breast, baby beetroot, pistachio, quince, was cooked to perfection, delivering on all fronts and providing a moment of culinary bliss. Unfortunately, the main potato gnocchi, peas, asparagus, fresh goat's curd, infused with asparagus, fell flat with its blandness, and the braised lamb shoulder, heirloom carrots, black barley, pine nuts, while beautifully presented, failed to live up to its promising description on the menu. Our guests ordered eye fillets, but the cooking preferences of our guest led to a well-done steak that was a significant missed opportunity for a beautiful cut of meat on their behalf, and when paired with anemic fries was a missed opportunity for them. Desserts, however, were a revelation. Each one was plated with care and tasted exceptional, showcasing the kitchen's potential and creativity. They were undoubtedly the highlight of our meal, leaving us wishing that the mains had reached the same level of excellence. Unfortunately, the service throughout the meal was where we encountered significant issues. We found ourselves waving our arms in the air for attention, and after an hour of waiting for our final course dishes to be removed, we cleared our own plates to a vacant nearby table which made our group extremely frustrated. A management representative later explained that the front of house and head chef were absent, which certainly shed light on the gaps in our experience. Despite the service shortcomings, I must commend the price point at $95 pp. Given the other options in the Mornington Peninsula region at $200+, Yabby Creek offered exceptional value, making it a compelling option for future visits. In summary, while our experience was marred by service issues and inconsistent food quality, the warm welcome, outstanding wine, and delightful desserts have left us with hope for a better visit in the future. We would love to return, perhaps with our dog, to enjoy a meal outside in the glorious sunshine, taking in the breathtaking views. Yabby Creek deserves another chance, and we are willing to give it one, hoping for a more seamless experience next time

I had such a wonderful experience at Yabby Lake Vineyard. The food was excellent beautifully presented and full of flavor, with that perfect fine dining touch. The wines were a highlight too, each tasting better than the last. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful, which really added to the whole visit. The vineyard itself is stunning, with scenic views and a clean, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger. The ambience strikes the right balance between relaxed and refined. A perfect spot for anyone who loves good food, great wine, and a beautiful setting.

Amazing views and such lovely staff, Kylie was so accomodating and friendly. I’d recommend visiting this winery to anyone that wants a nice weekend activity - it’s kid friendly and there’s a playground and lots of space to run around and there’s plenty of parking. The wine and charcuterie boards are well priced and delicious.

We can’t recommend yabby lake enough! This was our 2nd time coming and it’s our new favourite place. Pet friendly, outdoor comfy arm chairs with a view of the vineyard, wine and cheese that is so delicious. The team working are so kind and welcoming, with a huge shoutout to Paula, she remembered our sweet foxhound and came out for kisses and pats, and another team member grabbing our pup a water bowl. Everything about yabby creek is incredible and we can’t wait to be back.

We’ve visited Yabby Lake Vineyard twice now and, unfortunately, both times we weren’t able to get a table for the indoor dining. That said, we thoroughly enjoyed our experience each visit relaxing outside with a delicious cheese platter, some local wines, and the beautiful vineyard views. The outdoor area is lovely and family friendly; our kids had a great time running around and enjoying their picnic on the rugs while we soaked up the atmosphere. We’re really looking forward to coming back to try the restaurant food next time! I’d definitely recommend booking in advance if you want a spot inside, we’ve missed out twice now, so it’s clearly a popular place!

I made a booking “Let Us Feed You” for an Italian experience. We arrived early 20 minutes. The table was already set and ready for us. We were served by Amanda, who checked whether we had any allergies and was very attentive. The experience definitely did not disappoint. Every dish came well presented, the quality of ingredients is good & fresh and the food very delicious. The dining experience was very relaxing and the pace that each dish was served was good. We had a slow and enjoyable lunch.

We came for one lunch and ended up coming back the next day too — that’s how good it was! The pasta is divine, the pizza worth rearranging plans for, and the limoncello shots? The best we’ve ever had. Girls’ weekend was made thanks to Sofia and her awesome staff 😘

Beautiful restaurant good food. The overall restaurant experience is very good. Very spacious, good food in a very nice environment. Reasonable prices and great food portions It was warm inside despite the cold air outside. . The wine tasting was affordable and fun, but wasn't too our taste The pours were also VERY small (if not the smallest) compared to other wineries in the area. Borderline "stingly" but still have a good time.

We had an amazing wedding here! Would highly recommend. Marco and Sofia were very helpful throughout the whole process. From the initial tour, to the tasting and of course on the day. The location was intimate and was amazing to be able to get some wonderful shots and photos by the lake at sunset. Sofia was very accomodating and assisted with the set up. She helped liaise with vendors on the day and made sure to keep me updated as to how many guests were still yet to come. On the day the staff were amazing in helping keep everything to time. Despite running a little bit over time during the cocktail hour, the staff managed to get everything back on track.

Had a fantastic time at Barmah Park. The atmosphere was modern and not too busy or overcrowded which was great. The food and wine were awesome and we were well looked after by Nadine and Donna. It was great to be able to relax with a wine on the deck after lunch. It's not as far to travel down the peninsula as many if the other places. Will definately go back again soon.

Great food served by awesome staff in a wonderful atmosphere. Thanks to Nadine and the team at Barmah Park Restaurant for making my Mum's 87th birthday special. Nadine was very tentative but not intrusive. She even went through the bill line by line when it was bought to the table. Finding an additional drink that she instantly removed. The scallops were beautiful, great way to start a meal. Others in our group had the Kingfish to start which they also said was excellent. The mushroom gnocchi had amazing flavour. The restaurant is not large. But tables are generously spaced. Definitely worth a visit. A little out of the way but definitely worth the detour 😉

Cosy ambience, great views over the winery. Service was attentive and engaging. And the food. Yes, excessive. Thank you!

A fabulous experience I came to the estate for lunch and was delighted from start to finish. A magnificent estate with a lovely dining room and terrace overlooking nature. A family business with a very warm welcome and professional service. A sublime restaurant with the chef's lunch menu: flawless, with excellent ingredients, very well prepared and prepared, and superb presentation. Everything was delicious and awakened all five of my senses. The estate's wines are elegant; it was a wonderful experience. I can only recommend this place to lovers of fine wines and gastronomy. Excellent value for money.

We visited as a party of three and opted for the $110 chef's menu. The service and the location were absolutely outstanding, a clear 5 out of 5. The team was warm, professional, and the setting was stunning, perfect for a relaxing day at the winery. The food was very good: high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of flavour. However, the portion sizes were disappointingly small. We genuinely left the table still hungry, which really took away from the overall experience. We also tried three glasses of wine. The Chardonnay was excellent: crisp and well-balanced. The Pinot Gris was nice, though not particularly memorable. The Pinot Noir was interesting and definitely unique, but perhaps not for everyone’s palate.

Just had an incredible lunch at The Cups Estate Winery and experienced their Chef’s Menu – absolutely outstanding! Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavour, showcasing the best of local produce and culinary creativity. The lamb dish was the highlight for me – perfectly cooked, tender, and rich in flavour. Each bite was a standout. Their wines are also fantastic – especially the Rosé, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Noir. Service was warm, attentive, and genuine – the staff clearly care about making your visit memorable. Combine that with stunning vineyard views and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, and you've got one of the best dining experiences on the Peninsula. Highly recommend booking in for the Chef’s Menu – it's well worth it!

We celebrated post valentine at Cup Estate and we really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. We had the chef's menu and everything is absolutely marvelous. It should be good if the chef served wagyu grilled beef than Hibachi beef which is a bit chewy. The sauce is great for all the dishes with the right balance of sweetness and acidity.

Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! This Italian gem delivers everything you could want—authentic flavors, warm ambiance, and impeccable service. The pasta was clearly homemade and cooked to perfection, and the sauces were rich and full of depth. The wine selection paired beautifully with our meal, and the tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had. I don’t know if it was an off day but all the food was below average. I ordered the seafood linguini and the pasta wasn’t cooked. Everyone was pretty disappointed with all there dishes especially the seafood which turns out to be a seafood soup. The owner was really rude to the lady’s on the floor and they were doing their best during the busy period. The owner needs to stay away and concentrate on the cooking instead of trying to force us to order the all you can eat. Spending $600 is a big let down on those meals

Many Hands Winery offers a beautiful vineyard view and serene ambiance. Luke, our waiter, was friendly, attentive and informative. The Shiraz wine, Bread with Oil and Balsamic vinegar, Vegetarian pizza with Bocconcini salad, and Cannoli with coffee were all excellent. While the staff was pleasant, the owner’s treatment of them was disappointing.

Very poor customer service from the owner. We asked for a Moscato, but he brought us a completely different wine. He kept insisting on what else we would order, which made us feel uncomfortable. With that kind of attitude, we preferred to dine somewhere else. On a positive note, the waitresses were lovely and the pizza was delicious. Unfortunately, we won’t be coming back. Hopefully, they can improve their communication and overall customer service in the future.

The Re'em restaurant provides a romantic setting with stunning vineyard views, offering a variety of wines to complement your meal.
Bravo Re’em! What a fabulous Sunday lunch the four of us had. The Asian fusion dishes were each beautifully presented as a work of art. We loved each dish, all creative and cleverly subtle, leaving us with no shortage of ingredient guesses. My personal favorite was a poached pear…. (will I ever be able to serve mine again after this new benchmark?) The service was friendly and informative. The 180 degree view over their Helen and Joey vineyard is a stunning background to the open, modern venue on a winter’s day. We won’t be waiting for a special occasion to return.

This luxe boutique hotel in Gruyere (Yarra Valley region) was a pleasant impromptu overnight stay (impulsively booked a couple days prior for a quiet weekend away). I believe I may have nabbed the last available room as there are only 16 guest rooms & believed I secured one of their 'standard' rooms as the fancier ones had already been snapped up. Well, I was surprised to find out their basic rooms were far from standard and definitely much nicer than most upgraded 4-5 star hotel rooms in any capital city, spacious open rain shower, Nespresso pod machine, free standing deep bathtub included. The rooms were spacious, unbelievably clean (I have an unshakable habit of inspecting nooks, corners, drains, signs of infestations and previous guest damage upon check in) and it was immaculate, however having said that this is a boutique hotel and freshly built in 2023. The grounds have a modern feel, there is a cellar door on the premises and a restaurant serving mod Asian cuisine, this establishment also looks set up for scenic weddings, with a beautiful lake swimming with a resident pelican and ducks and lush backdrop, which our room opened up to. Our room was located in the 'basement', sounds terrible but in reality, was perfect, the building is built in reverse as to make use of the hill it sits upon for maximum scenery intake for the top level, there was a stunning fishpond at the base of the stairwell of the basement with the cutest array of goldfish, ranging from petite babies to well fed fatties, whenever we stopped to admire them they would swim up to us eagerly, probably expecting food, utterly adorable. The vibe is relaxed, quiet, serene and modern, I loved the balance of welcoming but not intrusive professionalism of all staff. Check on and check out was extremely smooth and quick. We also received a complimentary voucher to redeem for a drink at the cellar door, but silly me, forgot about it, Breakfast is also complimentary, there is an a la carte menu of breakfast favorites with an Asian inspired twist such as scrambled eggs, poached eggs, fritters etc. also dumplings or congee and a small selection of pastries & juice you can help yourself to. I shouldn't complain but I would have loved if there was oat milk as an option for coffees (only soy & almond available). Loads of parking and close to other wineries such as St. Huberts, Chandon etc. Would love to come back again soon!

Re’em at Helen & Joey Estate is the perfect date night destination in the Yarra Valley. The setting is stunning — surrounded by rolling vineyards and a serene, modern atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special from the moment you arrive. We had the two-course meal with cocktails and loved every bite. The chilli crab was rich and fragrant, the smoked aurum duck beautifully tender, and the fish cooked at 50°C was perfectly silky. Even the buckwheat gnocchi was a standout.

Sir Paz Estate is a family-owned winery that has been producing wine since 1997, reviving their family's winemaking tradition after moving to Australia 65 years ago. The estate offers a picturesque backdrop for events like weddings and provides a warm and inviting space for wine tasting. Visitors can enjoy flexible wine tastings with individual choices, accompanied by delicious meals. Although the staff may not be as enthusiastic about discussing the wines, the overall experience is pleasant and enjoyable.
This was by far the best winery we have been to in the Yarra Valley, what a gem! Beautiful food, delicious wine and incredible service. Thank you Kelly and the team for your attentive hospitality. We’ll be back soon for sure!

Just out for a sunny Saturday late afternoon in the hills. Stumbled upon Sir Paz and SO glad we did! While we came at peak kitchen hour and couldn’t be accommodated a snack because of over capacity for the kitchen, it was made up by amazing hospitality by our experience. KELLY was amazing and she is in the perfect position to serve such amazing vibe and energy. My partner, Ben had to drag me out from chatting so much with this amazing human soul. The 2019 Estate Shiraz was worth the drive and we can’t wait to return in the foreseeable future! Amazing views and hospo…. 🙏🙏🙏🍷🍷🍷

This is our favorite place! I mean it’s not just the wine (the Rose 2024 in particular) not just the food (the 1kg of perfection on lamb shoulder for example) but it’s the service, the people who love what they’re doing here that keeps bringing us back every time. Many thanks Kelly and team!

I have recently visited this beautiful Estate with our team from work for our Christmas get together. We had a wonderful time. The place is so quiet, with stunning views and the food was delicious. We ordered the Grand Cru package which was so generous in size. I definitely recommend this place for a work function or an event.

I highly recommend Sir Paz Estate. It is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the Yarra Valley. The food and wine were exceptionally delicious and reasonably priced. The picturesque views, immaculately maintained grounds and stunning vineyards all contributed to the outstanding ambiance. Our server, Joe, was an exemplary young professional, displaying impeccable politeness, knowledge and courtesy. Kelly, the restaurant manager, exuded warmth and energy, ensuring that every guest had a memorable dining experience. Overall, Sir Paz Estate offered an unforgettable and enjoyable day out, with outstanding food quality and value.

Had lunch here yesterday with my partner for the first time....it won't be our last, it was FABULOUS. The mushroom pizza was delicious and the sparkling wine we ordered on arrival was sooooo good. We did a small wine tasting session with the FUN sommelier and truly learnt a lot in a very short and entertaining time. The views are exceptional, this place is a gem!

The food is delicious 👌 the chairs utterly killed my back but as usual, that's on me 😏 They wouldn't split our bill, only if everyone paid equal amounts. They were also a little pushy that we should share platters. Sorry but let people order and pay for the food they ate/want. You can't "encourage" people to share food and to pay as you think they should. The culture of ordering and paying for food is a little too much for me here but... an enjoyable meal, delicious wine 👍 The grounds and gardens are stunning ❤️

Highly recommended place to visit for those who like a nice and relaxed atmosphere with great service from start to finish. Great place for wine tasting or enjoying the vineyard view while having lunch. They put out some outdoors games for the kids as well, beautiful green grass for the warmer months. I love their fireplace near the bar area inside. It is our go to place to wind down. Come during the summer months and you can do U-pick berries nearby.

Nestled in the picturesque Willow Creek Vineyard, Jackalope Hotel Mornington Peninsula is a luxurious accommodation that has garnered attention for its stunning architecture and lavish amenities. The hotel offers sleek rooms, a vineyard, and a winery along with two distinct dining options and an inviting outdoor pool. Guests can indulge in the opulent day spa and savor fine dining at Doot Doot Doot or enjoy a more casual experience at Rare Hare Wine & Food Store.
We booked the Winter Day Access package which was a perfect getaway from the city for the day. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great however the staff were incredibly attentive and did their best to make sure we had a great time - particularly Isi. After an afternoon at the pool we stayed on for some drinks and snacks in the bar - all delicious and great service here again. Would love to come back on a sunny summer day.

What a weekend at Jackalope Hotel! Pure indulgence from start to finish. From the breathtaking setting to the impeccable service, everything was flawless. Special mention to Ethan, Riley, and Mitch whose cocktail skills were next level. Their appreciation for the alchemy and art of hospitality was absolutely on point — every drink was a masterpiece! From crisp mornings and garden-infused cocktails to popcorn, movies, and unlimited ice cream, Jackalope delivered a magical birthday experience. Grateful, glowing, and already planning our next visit. 💫

We had a stunning two night stay at Jackalope in late October. Highly recommend for a romantic indulgent getaway. It was a bit cool on our trip but the outdoor spa was comfortable and the drinks service at the spa was a lovely touch. Breakfast was a particular highlight, as were drinks at Flaggerdoot, dinner at Doot Doot Doot and their signature room service ice cream and popcorn.I had an early morning facial with lovely Hannah - a must do. The staff and other guests were very friendly and being adults only the atmosphere was serene (something we were looking for having arranged care for our child at home). Well worth splashing out on a vineyard facing room.

Amazing stay recently at Jackalope! Exceptional service, loved the car valet, and enjoyed breakfast on our balcony overlooking the pool. The rooms are gorgeous with the softest carpet and super comfy beds. Also love their sustainability efforts, including all their solar panels….Luxury done responsibly!

I get amazing opportunities to stay, dine or just check out hotels around the world. On a sunny warm spring Sunday, my wonderful colleagues and I from FBI had the pleasure and privilege to be hosted for a hotel site inspection, to check out the celler door and have a magnificent afternoon lunch at this iconic Mornington Peninsula Hotel. On a busy long weekend where the hotel was full, I noticed happy clients and guests walking around the hotel, sitting by the pool or just coming to eat at one of their restaurants. The Service in the restaurant was just magnificent and I must commend a waiter. A young man called Jack who not only listened to all of our dietary requirements but communicated with the kitchen to accommodate us. Nothing was too much trouble for Jack, and the total lunch experience was exceptionally wonderful !! I am not surprised for this hotel that is only eight years old is winning multiple awards for its service, and restaurants. Thank you to Nicole for hosting us and the entire team for looking after us. Thanks Jeff

Mid-week birthday getaway at Jackalope. The cellar door with wine tasting was a great experience with the perfect amount of information on wines and local information. Room overlooking the carpark was a great choice as the balcony was spacious and room was also spacious and comfortable with great perks like free minibar and hooded robes. The only letdown would be the last minute cancellation of the cooking masterclass. There was no prior notice of the cancellation or replacement activity which was a major letdown as that was part of the reason for booking at this property.

We had a magnificent experience at Jackalope, in all its facilities including a wonderful facial from Hannah, unbelievable meal at Doot Doot Doot, even the breakfasts were delicious. The little touches like popcorn and icecream or notes on the weather for the coming day, really set Jackalope apart from any other accommodation we have previously enjoyed. We were congratulated on our wedding anniversary even by the chefs (who wrote a little note on our desserts). I’m raving now, but you deserve it! See you very soon. Diana

It’s honestly a love and hate feeling with Jackalope. Four years ago, this place meant a lot to me. I got married here and it gave me one of my best memories. I came back this time for my babymoon and birthday, hoping to relive a bit of that magic, but it turned out so disappointing that we ended up asking to check out at 9pm and asking for a full refund. The bed was so saggy and clearly not maintained. You can feel the springs are worn off and could touch almost the bottom of the bed. After a few hours lying in bed watching TV, both of us had back pain that lasted for two days. We asked to change rooms and they only had one available (same room type) on the ground floor, but it was a connecting room and we could hear every single conversation from the next room. When we asked if they could just swap the bed, they said no. They offered to downgrade us to a terrace room without a bath instead, which really ruined the whole day. I honestly don’t think it’s worth $880 a night anymore. Later, they emailed saying all their A.H. Beard beds had been maintained, but if you look up that mattress online on Google review, it only rates 2.7 and a lot of people mention the same sinking problem. Such a shame because this place used to feel so special to me, but this stay was just really disappointing. Not just the condition of the room, but the way the situation was handled afterwards by management. The only positive thing is the floor staff are polite. But management was really terrible, zero care factor for customers. I’m not sure how they manage to get two michelin key. They ruined my whole day. We finally left at 10:30pm and drove back to Melbourne.

The Yarra Ranges Estate was the perfect location for my wedding. The food and service were great, and the atmosphere was unforgettable. I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a special occasion to be remembered in the best way possible.
Yarra Ranges Estate is the only wedding venue we visited, and we immediately knew it was the one. On top of the gorgeous venue itself, Anna and Catherine were so friendly and helpful through the planning process. The food and drinks were also amazing, as we were reminded by countless guests. Thank you so much to the team at YRE for helping us to have the best day!

We are honestly still in awe of how incredible our wedding day was, and it’s all thanks to the amazing team at Yarra Ranges Estate, especially Anna (owner) and Catherine (coordinator). From the moment we met them, they were so warm, friendly, and genuinely excited for us – and that feeling carried through every single interaction. From start to finish, everything was handled with the utmost professionalism and care. Anna and Catherine are exceptionally organised, responsive, and nothing was ever too much trouble – no matter how many questions we had (and there were a lot!). Every detail of our day was perfectly executed, and we truly felt like we were in the best hands. The venue itself is absolutely stunning – surrounded by lush greenery and rolling hills, with a charming rustic feel that was everything we’d dreamed of. We had our ceremony indoors (being a winter wedding), and it was perfect – warm and comfortable for guests, with expansive windows that showcased the breathtaking views. So many of our guests commented on how beautiful the spot was! The reception space was just as magical – plenty of windows to take in the sunset, a dancefloor perfectly placed close enough to the tables to keep the vibe going, yet far enough for guests wanting a quieter moment. The team set everything up exactly how we’d envisioned it – it was like walking into a dream. And let’s talk about the food – WOW. Our guests are still raving about the quantity and quality. We opted for a “blended” style with extended roaming canapés, no entrée, a delicious sit-down main, and an incredible dessert buffet that not only wowed guests but let us take home all the extras at the end of the night! Anna and Catherine were not only a dream for us to work with, but they also made it easy for all of our other vendors – it was clear they are true professionals. The whole day ran seamlessly, and we can honestly say we wouldn't change a thing. We only wish we could relive it all again! Thank you, Anna, Catherine, and the entire Yarra Ranges Estate team, from the bottom of our hearts. You helped us create the most magical, unforgettable day of our lives. If we could give more than 5 stars, we absolutely would. With endless gratitude, Katie & Jack

Such a beautiful venue, went for a wedding tour on Saturday and was spoilt with a spectacular view at the Estate on a beautiful sunny day. Enjoyed a delicious lunch overlooking the green hills with an equally delicious Strawberry cocktail. Highly recommend the pork belly entree and smoked beef brisket main. Anna was so lovely, unfortunately our wedding guest list is too big for the venue and I missed the max capacity in my flurry of searching. Disappointed we won't be able to have our special day at Yarra Ranges but we will definitely be back for a weekend lunch out!

We recently got married at Yarra Ranges Estate and it was the best day of our lives. It was the first venue we saw and love at first sight. The venue is beautiful, food is delicious and staff are outstanding. Anna and Catherine went above and beyond to help us plan our wedding for months and they delivered. Our guests only had wonderful things to say about the ceremony and reception. The whole process didn't feel commercial or transactional like other venues came across. Instead it was very personal as the team here truly care about you and it shows. We will definitely be going back to visit the venue to reminisce about our magical day in the years to come :) Brittany and Jimmy

Delicious food and wine. Very excited to be planning a wedding here <3 Update - We had a spreadsheet of nearly 80 venues & we checked out 22 of those in person - well, we sure did our research, and James & I picked Yarra Ranges Estate. We made the right choice! We had the best time, and our guests have given us so many compliments. We wanted a scenic winery wedding, with a seat down reception for a 140 guest list, with space for a band and dance floor. I also wanted amazing food, a decent wine selection, all for a fair price per head. Anna and Anton, who own Yarra Ranges Estate, bring this loving family vibe to their venue, which overlooks their vines, a forest & hills. Their son is a fantastic chef in the kitchen, and ALL their wine is on offer to guests - there is nothing worse than going to a winery wedding and only getting one white/red for the guests, don't you think? It was so AWESOME to have all nine of their wines available to my guests. Plus a cocktail and heaps of beer. The food was great - and everyone raved about the dessert buffet. Right from booking to the end of the night, you could tell Anna & her team are very experienced and knew what they were doing. They were also very fast to email me back, or take my phone calls through the whole process. I was a COVID bride, and we picked three different dates before finally it could happen - Anna was an absolute legend, so VERY KIND about it. I am forever grateful to Yarra Ranges Estate for helping us have the best day ever <3

Vines of the Yarra Valley is a wedding reception and function venue that offers international cuisine and local wines in an elegant setting with rustic stone walls and picturesque vineyard views. It's located in the Yarra Valley, not far from Melbourne, making it a convenient choice for wine enthusiasts seeking a unique tasting experience. The venue has been praised for its stunning backdrop, exceptional staff, and seamless coordination, making it an ideal choice for couples looking for a memorable and stress-free wedding celebration.
We recently held our wedding at Vines of the Yarra Valley in January and couldn’t recommend more highly! From the day we booked Rodney and Angela were fantastic coordinators and extremely responsive. The views are stunning and the grounds are always perfectly manicured. The food was absolutely a standout, generous amounts and so delicious! Despite having a guest list of 150, all food was served hot and served and cleared together, no wait times. The volume of guests were comfortably seated and still had plenty of room to dance the night away. We can’t thank the Vines enough and will be talking about the special day for the rest of our lives!

We recently had our wedding at Vines of the Yarra Valley in December 2024, and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. A huge thank you to Rodney, Angela, Stephen, and head chef Nino – the whole team were incredible from start to finish. Their professionalism, clear communication, and warm hospitality made everything run so smoothly, and they genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Plus, they were always happy to answer all of our many questions along the way. The food was another highlight. Our guests are still talking about how fresh, flavorful, and generous the portions were. It definitely exceeded our expectations! The vineyard itself is absolutely beautiful. We also loved the floor-to-ceiling windows that let us take in the stunning vineyard views throughout the reception. Overall, Vines of the Yarra Valley went above and beyond in every way. If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with a friendly, professional team and amazing food, we couldn’t recommend it more. It’s a true hidden gem in the Yarra Valley!

Vines of the Yarra was the best decision we made when choosing a place to hold our wedding. I can’t thank Rodney and team enough for helping us to create the perfect day. The grounds are stunning, with an undercover option if the weather turns nasty, and a dedicated space for canapés; there is a gorgeous bridal room with a balcony and natural light which makes for great photos, and a place to relax while you’re getting ready for the big day. The food was absolutely divine as was the wine, and they made the whole process of planning the wedding a breeze. My guests are still talking about the venue, the food, and their whole experience in general! I highly recommend booking a meeting with Vines if you are thinking of a gorgeous winery style wedding, with amazing views, and a beautiful ceremony & reception space all in one.

Vines of the Yarra Valley is hands down one of the best wedding venues, not just in the Yarra Valley, but in all of Victoria! From the very first meeting at their open day to picking up the last napkin the day after, Rodney and his team were absolutely amazing. The venue itself is breathtaking – just as stunning at night as it is during the day, and every little detail was thoughtfully considered, making the entire experience feel so special. The bridal suite was a huge bonus, giving Alanah a quiet, secluded space to relax and prepare before the ceremony. With so many incredible photo opportunities right on-site, this venue really is a one-stop shop for everything you could possibly need. The only downside? Our guests can’t stop talking about the food! It was that good – they’re still raving about it! We truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue and service, and we couldn’t recommend Vines of the Yarra Valley enough. It’s an unforgettable place to celebrate your big day!

Yarra Valley Estate, also known as Yarra Ranges Estate, is a charming venue nestled between the Yarra Valley and the Dandenong Ranges. The Locale restaurant, led by Emeri De Bortoli, offers a delightful northern Italian-inspired dining experience with locally sourced ingredients. The estate's special function center provides a magical setting for weddings and events, featuring a spacious dance floor adorned with fairy lights. Guests can enjoy the open-air chapel for ceremonies set amidst picturesque bushland surroundings.
We just had our wedding at Yarra Valley Estate and it was everything we could have dreamed! The pizzas and cheese boards were so fun and the guests loved them! The landscape and grounds are amazing! Our guests had a great time and so did we! Maya went above and beyond to make everything look incredible! Even when I had run out of inspiration, she just said she ‘would do it how it looked best’ and it did!!! We had so made some changes to the run sheet last minute to make space for sunset photos and the venue were so happy to be flexible! Thanks for making our day completely perfect and unforgettable! We were not the only ones who will remember the joy of the day! Thanks so much for making it so easy and wonderful!

A Magical & Welcoming Venue – Yarra Valley Estate We had the joy of celebrating our daughter’s first birthday at Yarra Valley Estate, and it was an unforgettable, fairy tale experience. From day one, Maya was absolutely incredible, managing the event from start to finish with such professionalism, warmth, and care. She made us and our guests feel completely at home, and her calm, composed presence gave us full confidence throughout the celebration. A heartfelt thank you to Louise, the owner of the estate, for going above and beyond to accommodate our vision. Ours was an Indian cultural event, and she showed immense adaptability and openness, ensuring that every detail reflected our needs while blending beautifully with the Estate’s charm. Her thoughtfulness and commitment to making it special did not go unnoticed. The venue itself is a hidden gem; ideal for bringing people together. With accommodation spread across the Falcon Wing and a few cozy cottages, our guests could enjoy both comfort and community. The lounge spaces, fire pit, and serene surroundings created the perfect atmosphere for connection and celebration. But the true crown jewel is the events venue; elegant, spacious, and surrounded by nature. It offered the perfect stage for our little girl’s milestone, and we couldn’t have asked for more. If you're looking for a place that combines beauty, flexibility, and heartfelt hospitality, Yarra Valley Estate ticks every box. Thank you, Maya and Louise, for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime.

We spent a weekend at this venue for a planning retreat with our cohousing community, and it proved to be a wonderful choice. From the outset, Maya provided outstanding support in the lead-up to our stay. We really felt all our requests were heard and accommodated. A minor hiccup on arrival was swiftly resolved by John—both were incredibly responsive and helpful. The facilities were spotless and the setting itself was a highlight: surrounded by beautiful trees and a tranquil atmosphere that made it easy to focus and unwind. We had exclusive use of an entire wing with 14 rooms and a spacious communal area, which was perfect for group sessions and downtime. The separate cottage was ideal for the two families with children, offering a bit of extra space and privacy. Although our schedule was packed, we did manage to enjoy the sauna, which was a real treat. The kitchen was a bit tight for our group’s needs, but with some coordination, we made it work. It would've been a bonus if the dishwasher was available for us to use. The rooms were very comfortable, though a few additions—like a kettle, a small fridge, and a cozy chair—would have made them even better for moments of quiet retreat. Overall, it was a peaceful and well-equipped venue that supported our weekend beautifully. We'd happily return.

We were married at Yarra Valley Estate in March this year. The wedding and the venue were everything we hoped for. The bushland setting provided a stunning backdrop for the ceremony. The reception space created such a relaxed and welcoming vibe, with plenty of room for guests to mingle both indoors and out on the deck. The mix of tables and couches was a brilliant touch. The on-site accommodation was also a huge hit—guests loved the common areas and the chance to connect before and after the event. The food was fantastic. The menu of slow cooked meats, wholesome salads and roasted vegetables was tailored to meet what we wanted. Everyone loved it. Guests are still letting us know how much they enjoyed everything. Especially the lamb!! Our day would not have been the same without the professionalism, care and dedication of our wedding coordinator, Maya. From the moment we met her, she completely understood our vision and helped bring it to life with creativity, honesty, and clear communication. Despite a few staffing changes leading up to the day, Maya always made us feel confident that everything was under control. Every meeting left us feeling reassured and excited. We would wholeheartedly recommend her to any future couples—she’s trustworthy, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. All of the staff on the day were wonderful—warm, professional, and attentive. Everything flowed beautifully (shoutout to Jake, who was also quietly on top of everything on the day, keeping things running smoothly and whisking us around for sunset photos).

We recently held The Elevation Company’s signature event, The Power Of You, at The Yarra Valley Estate and the entire experience was nothing short of exceptional. From start to finish, the staff went above and beyond – the event manager was attentive and efficient, the owner warm and welcoming, and every member of the front-of-house team and kitchen staff contributed to a truly seamless experience. The food was absolutely outstanding – fresh, beautifully presented, and tailored perfectly to our event needs. The chefs clearly take great pride in their work. As for the venue itself – the grounds and facilities are stunning. There’s something incredibly grounding and inspiring about being in such beautiful natural surroundings, and every space was immaculate and thoughtfully laid out to support connection, creativity, and calm. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting or team. Highly recommended for events, retreats, or any gathering where quality, care, and a touch of magic matter.

We highly recommend Yarra Valley Estate for a wonderful staff conference venue. They were so helpful along the journey from our initial inquiry all the way through to the event itself! The beautiful grounds gave us lots of opportunity to connect with nature, go for walks and enjoy the outdoors. The accomodation was clean, warm and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. There was plenty of food so we didn't go hungry!! And the staff were wonderful at mealtimes and especially for our social event on the first night. The conference space was beautiful, with large glass windows that provided a backdrop of trees and beautiful views of the property. Thanks to Maya, John and Louise and the YVE Staff for providing us with an opportunity to create wonderful memories and personal development with our staff.

We had an enjoyable weekend here with our family and friends — good space and facilities. However, we couldn’t recommend it as the post-checkout experience was terrible — the venue levied a ridiculous cleaning charge (despite no cleaning supplies provided) and when we disputed it they ignored us and charged it anyway.

My daughter and her partner got married recently, and I must say this venue did an excellent job, from the vineyard gathering, cocktail hour, and dinner package. The person who took care of the wedding party during the photos was great; he had drinks and food to offer everyone. He took them around in the buggy—great job! The food was amazing, and the venue staff were accommodating. A memorable night for us.

We had the pleasure of providing DJ/MC entertainment and low-lying fog at Witchmount Estate Winery—and what a stunning venue to work with! The team was so easy to collaborate with, making the event run smoothly from start to finish. Looking forward to more events together!

We held our clubs biggest event ever, our 150th anniversary gala ball dinner, at Witchmount on the 1st of June 2024. We have received an overwhelming number of compliments on the venue space, the service, and the meals. This was by far the biggest event our club has ever held. Thank you to everyone involved for being apart of our clubs history (Braybrook Sporting Club) and helping us celebrate 150 years of us. We will definitely be back in the future!

I attended the Saturday nights Harry Potter dinner dinner. The room looked amazing, but that was the only great thing about the night. Alot of time and effort was put into decorations and cocktails but there was nothing else harry potter themed. The food was nice, but the wait times in between each serve was long. There was no entertainment, not music, no table games or trivia! Not even the movie playing somewhere in the background. Alot of people got board in-between the the meals getting served. We were excited for the photo booth, unfortunately again a opportunity was waisted as there could have been a hp back drop and possibly some hp props to play around with but there was nothing, so that was disappointing too. Other then the room the only other themed item was the cocktails, the staff seemed to pop in and ask alot if we wanted to order cocktails, yet we struggled to get a glass of water. The staff also made it known that there was a half price welcome drink, yet no one received half price on there first drink. And at the end of the night, they were in such a hurry to get everyone out, they switched the lights off while people were still finishing off there desserts, that was extremely rude. Despite the above, I enjoyed the night out with my partner, and we enjoyed meeting new people, it was great meeting and chatting with other hp fans, but unfortunately we all felt that there was alot of opportunities missed and it was a bit of a let down. On a positive note, the chicken was delicious.

I had my 21st birthday party at Witchmount estate functions and events in the Harvest room - Kristie was my event manager and she was fantastic with organising the event and recommending food/DJ/cake companies, it really helped make the night wonderful. The food was amazing and we kept getting compliments on how beautiful the venue was. The staff on the night were so friendly and made my night amazing. Cant recommend this place enough!

I’m shocked to see negative reviews regarding the food. My family and I first went to Witchmount for their lovely Christmas Eve dinner and it was incredible! We came back recently for a dinner and had the most amazing Rib Eye Steak- hands down the best I’ve ever had. The service is fantastic - the staff are lovely. Only down points were being charged extra to exchange the potatoes with the steak to veggies and while our mains came out and while eating them there was a push by staff to order desserts. I assume this was because staff wanted to head off. Also the smell of what I presume is a septic tank hits you in the face when you go outside to use the bathroom.

Lakeside Villas at Crittenden Estate is a must-visit destination on the Mornington Peninsula. The estate is home to a modern wine center inspired by South African tasting rooms and offers over 20 different wines across various styles. Stillwater restaurant, located within the estate, is a top dining spot in the region. The family-owned estate, managed by second-generation members Rollo and Zoe, offers sensational lakeside villa accommodations for visitors.
The wow factor as soon as we walked into our villa was evident. One of the best places we have stayed. To top it off, our winery tasting within the property was amazing and the service was excellent. Could not recommend this place more highly. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer.

We had such a lovely 2-night stay at the Crittenden Lakeside Villas. Such a beautiful location and so handy to the cellar door! We loved the ‘Locals Guide’ which helped us uncover some wonderful gems in the area to visit. We’ll be back!!
Casey B — Google review
We gifted a weekend stay to our sister and brother in law as a wedding present and they absolutely RAVED about their time at Lakeside Villas. Thanks to the team for making it a memorable stay for them!
Alicia M — Google review
A wonderfully scenic villa overlooking the lake. The fireplace kept us warm during a late Melbourne Spring that felt like winter, and the fully appointed kitchen meant we could grab local produce at Torello down the road and cook our own dinner. We made the most of the location and also ate lunch at Crittenden's restaurant and did a superb wine tasting, all within a short stroll of the villa. Also a perfect location to try other sights and wineries, and have a soak at Alba hot springs. Highly recommend for a getaway. Beautiful to see wildlife on the lake too.

I booked this stay as a distraction from an upcoming scan for my cancer and it couldn’t have been more delightful! The property was stunning and the view onto the lake was amazing, it was so relaxing watching the ducks swim around. We didn’t manage to get to the wine centre during our stay (hopefully we’ll be back again soon!). The villas are only a short 5 minute drive into Dromana so a really easy and accessible location. I really loved the breakfast basket, such a great idea for self contained accommodation!

Lovely villa on lake Review of Lakeside Villas at Crittenden Estate Pending review Very large villa for two people with a large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, separate bedroom, separate laundry and large bathroom and walk in robe. Nicely decorated. Great location right on the water. Breakfast provisions provided on the first day but enough for our 3 night stay, including a loaf of bread, muesli, bacon, eggs and tomato. Complimentary bottle of sparkling wine a lovely touch. Only 3 villas so private and quiet. Would highly recommend to others.

Beautiful villas… we stayed for 3 nights after our wedding and were so happy with the stay. So impressive how they’ve made all the villas completely private, and the decor is beautiful. Really appreciated the key code access and private check in. Air con also worked perfectly which was great as it was a very hot summer weekend. We also had a beautiful tasting at the cellar door. The only slightly disappointing thing was the bread given was a loaf of white bakers delight bread - it was fine, just slightly odd as I would have expected a local sourdough.

We have enjoyed many stays at the Lakeside Villas but this was our first since the recent upgrade. We loved the new colours and the tasteful furnishings but, for us, it was the significantly upgraded bathroom that was the stunner! Underfloor heating, spa bath reoriented so that you can enjoy a beautiful lake view while taking a glorious relaxing bath! Congratulations to all involved. Looking forward to our next stay. The Brasserie YV is an incredibly impressive dining establishment, with a strong recommendation. The lunch experience there is truly outstanding. The restaurant is highly regarded and comes highly recommended for its delectable meals.
Such a beautiful place inside and out. Not only will the 360 degree view of the Yarra Valley take your breath away every time you visit, but the staff and food are just as amazing. My husband and I came back a year later to celebrate our anniversary after getting married here, it was a heart warm feeling being welcomed back by Sheila who was one of the workers who took care of us on our wedding day. It makes the experience of coming back a lot more personal. No doubt a lot of bride and grooms come and go, but she will acknowledge you personally. This place is beyond service, they go above to make sure your visit is a pleasant one. We left feeling full and very satisfied. Can’t wait to be back again!

Beautiful outlook ! Food and wine lovely. Pricing reasonable. Service great. We were gifted a voucher for a two course meal with a bottle of wine. Surprised to learn that one small slice of bread was considered the first course! !!! Misleading for those who bought the voucher. bread compliments a meal but ive never considered it a course! All up a lovely afternoon spent with lovely food.

Our dining experience was the highlight of our holiday. We were met with the most stunning view having chosen to sit outside. The food was wonderful accompanied by attentive and welcoming staff. We would definitely come back.

We were given a voucher by the kids for a wine tasting and cheese platter . It was a lovely experience Riverstone have a gorgeous view and the staff food and wine were all amazing We didn’t need a meal but the gnocchi was recommended so we shared the dish and it didn’t disappoint . We had a great afternoon and will definitely visit again :-)

Service was great and beautiful grounds. We came because of the food photos/reviews; turns out chef’s changed. Thankfully didn’t order mains as we had a heavy breakfast. Cold cut was ok, nice choice of cheese, salmon rillettes pleasant; but shockingly simple dish like pumpkin soup was really bland, hence chef’s abilities questionable.

Was here for the re-opening on the weekend. We found the food was delicious and great quality. The staff were very attentive and were excited about the new menu. We enjoyed a very nice bottle of wine on the balcony overlooking the stunning valley. Will have to spend another afternoon here as soon as possible
