It is located in a fantastic area of town for food and life. This bar has a reasonably priced restaurant and bar. It has a large pool table, and the decor is a good vibe. Its a good place to begin, have, or finish your night in. It's definitely a pillar of the area. Kim was a lovely server. The staff were attentive.

With the rain flogging down, my brother, dad, and I ducked into the highly recommended DMZ Bar for lunch — and we’re so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, the place impressed us: cascading vines spilling over the façade, upbeat music drifting through the air, and a welcoming, easygoing vibe. The staff greeted us like family, and over the four hours we spent there, we shared stories about our travels and their life in Hue. Tú Anh looked after us with genuine warmth, attentive but never pushy when offering another drink or dish to share. The food was thoughtfully prepared and reasonably priced for the area, reflecting real care in every plate that came out. We left feeling full, relaxed, and genuinely connected. Highly recommended for any weary traveller looking for good food, friendly faces, and a place to stay dry while the rain rolls on.

came to Hue from Da Nang and stumbled upon the DMZ rooftop. it's got a great breeze off the river and relaxing break after riding all day. they have a big menu for food and drinks. and its a good point to start and end a night in Hue.

Absolutely loved this place! The food and service were both excellent – everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The restaurant was very clean, with a stylish and comfortable atmosphere. I especially appreciated the decor, with lots of interesting things to look at, including a cool map of Hue on the ceiling – such a unique touch!

I'm always apprehensive to go to these places that are overly popular with tourists. But this is a great spot, well priced beer, good quality food and great service. We really enjoyed it.

Excellent bar to grab some food and drinks with friends or to meet some new people. The staff are very attentive, polite and welcoming. Especially Van Khanh, she made our evening here awesome! The food has a broad selection of western and Vietnamese dishes. The bar has great music and lots of TVs to watch the sports. Would highly recommend. I will come back when I'm in Hue again

The best thing first, the staff, everyone ia extremly nice and friendly. They try to make sure you have a good time and are generally intrested in making your stay as comfortable as possible. Honestly its impossible to overstate how good the staff is. If they have time they are happy to entertain you with jenga or billards. The atmosphere is good, the bar has a cool vibe, better than most bars, restaurants and coffeeshops and has ac inside. The juices i had were good albeit selection was a bit limited for me as a non alcohol drinker, but honestly, if you go there to have a party you can choose from a lot of variety. All in all its an experience you dont want to miss, especially as a solo traveler or as someone who wants to have a good time. And a special thanks here to bobby and thi, who were the best company a solo visitor could hope for

The first bar I came when I arrived in this city. Everything is great, especially drinks and staff are very friendly, I was introduced to special drinks , I was a little hesitant until trying and immersed in it. Maybe this is the first time I reviewed something but confessed it made me very satisfied. I quite promote the intelligence and sophistication of the staff here. Brown Eyes Bar is one of Hue’s most popular nightlife destinations, with energetic music and a welcoming crowd. The drinks are delicious, and the energy is contagious. I had a fantastic night here and felt the warmth of Hue’s hospitality. I truly loved it and will tell my friends to visit.

We’ve been here all 3 nights of our stay in Hue and had a wonderful time. The staff are lots of fun and greet you with nonalcoholic shots, give you water, fruit & lollies. Your delicious cocktails arrive and at the end of the evening (having already had other nonalcoholic shots with staff) you’ll get an alcoholic shot as a parting treat. There’s a pool table and you can pick the play list if you’re so inclined. Brilliant way to end any evening.

An absolutely beautiful place that captivated us from the moment we saw it, which is why we decided to come in. The street is also very quiet. The service was outstanding — the staff are absolutely amazing, kind, and friendly. However, it’s definitely a place for wealthier people or tourists, as you won’t find a drink under 150K VND. For Vietnam and such a small town, it’s quite expensive. If you’re looking for low prices, this might not be the place for you. Otherwise, we highly recommend visiting — the food was delicious and we even received some complimentary snacks.

I feel compelled to write this review. The staff who welcomed us were so nice and so friendly. You are given a free shot and fruit and then the menu. Personally, 100k for a beer is insane. Cut the shots and the fruit and just sell drinks at a reasonable price. The reviews are overwhelmingly positive, I can't see why when their prices are so high. The atmosphere is nothing special. I drunk one beer and left, walked 30 seconds and found an establishment for half the price. In my opinion, nothing justified their high prices.

If someone asked me: dream of a perfect bar, I would be thinking of Secret Lounge. This place got everything. From great hospitality, amazing outdoor and indoor atmosphere and - most important - delicious quality cocktail mixing. Harry and Kodak are the best! PS: I had baby shark :)

My wife and I found this wonderful little pub entirely by accident and immediately fell in love with it. It is secluded and tucked away behind trees and a massive rock just off main streets in a bustling city center. It is such a pleasant place playing music from the 50s to the 80s with a mix of genres that includes zero bullshit schlock crock. You won't hear bubblegum KPop, nor any of its grievous spawn. The decor is trees and plants and water pieces with subdued colorful lights and tons of beautiful pottery. It's a jewel, this place. Lovely and quiet with relaxing vibes, not a pounding nihilist party place. I'm very surprised there are not more people here, but then again, it is "The Secret Lounge..." I didn't give a food rating only because we did not eat here; we just found it, had drinks, and liked it so much, we returned the following night, again, for drinks after dinner.

If you're taking a Grab, it seems like the drop-off point is set too far. So you can just stop near the new bridge, which will open on March 26, 2025. On the map, Grab directs you all the way to the end, which is a very quiet area with only two or three tofu stalls, where vendors aggressively offer you tofu. A bowl of tofu is only 10k VND, and it's actually quite good—just like a typical local experience. So you should give it a try!

It’s really nice for a journey along the water. The people selling boat rides WILL rip you off. A 200k ride for an hour quickly became 200k per person. Then our 1 hour ride was over in 15 minutes. Look it’s not expensive, I just didn’t appreciate being ripped off.

A peaceful place to admire the amazing skyline of Hue. It is ideal for a stroll along the riverbank and the park nearby. It was pity that we couldn't enjoy Hue folk song performances due to bad weather.

An amazing river at Hue This is the best nice river flow through the a city in Viet Nam. Its name "Sông Hương" meaning Perfume river. Once upon a time, the Nguyen empire choose this city because the river and the sight so harmony with nature. If you come to Hue. Take a dragon boat cruise along the river. Visit Thien Mu pagoda and tomb of the king. The boats and the river gives you an insight into the fisher families and Hue culture. Have a nice trip.

Staff were incredibly rude and reluctant to let us in just because we were white english males. When we were let in all staff ignored us when trying to order a drink. Would not recommend coming to this bar.

I think something got lost in translation when they designed this "beer garden." Beer selection is all macro lagers. Music is way too loud (literally, bring earplugs if you value your hearing and want to spend more than a few minutes here). Lights are flashing and moving all over the place and occasionally blind you. The heat from the lights causes a noticeable increase in temperature after walking in (the extra heat can also be felt as the lights pan over you and your table). But they have a handful of fake trees poking out above infinity mirrors, LCD screens displaying rapid patterns and flames, and neon lighting on the walls. So it's a beer garden. No idea about the food. The assault of heat, noise, and light was so overwhelmingly unpleasant I almost didn't even order a beer after sitting down. I sure as hell wasn't going to wait around for food. I enjoyed watching soccer bloopers on the big screen while I hurried to finish my single beer, so there's that. Perhaps this would be a good place to dance late into the night; that's the vibe here, and it's quite unpleasant for anything resembling dining or what you might typically look for in a pub or beer garden. But I didn't see a dance floor.

HORRIBLE PLACE! DO NOT GO THERE! As a foreigner you feel like a prisoner. Since you arrive security literally takes you as a prisoner. They tell you where to sit, what's your table and you cannot move from there, otherwise they stop you (always grabbing you). No one speaks English to explain why they act like this. I can see a lot of locals are ready drunk and they want to avoid potential issues but this is too much! On top of that expensive and hot beer, never again!

As a tourist you are handled like stars. We had an extra security person just for us that held of any Vietnamese that tryed to contact us. Another negativ point is that there are so many people from the staff that you don't feel very free. The music was good.

We had fun but it was confusing, it appeared to be a gay club but suddenly some girls danced on stage. Music is way too loud and outdated. Beers were extremely expensive and the security were nice and kept the locals away from us (we were the only foreigners) but could be annoying for some people. We had fun nevertheless.

We visited Nook Eatery in Hue and tried a variety of items: vegetarian burger, chicken burger, mango bowl, fries, rice bowl with chicken, and coconut coffee. As a vegetarian, I found the fries and coffee to be the only saviour’s, simple but satisfying. The vegetarian burger didn’t really hit the mark in terms of flavor. My husband ordered the rice bowl with chicken but couldn’t finish it because it was overly sweet, both the rice and the chicken lacked balance. On the positive side, the vibes were fantastic, and the pricing was very reasonable. They definitely have the ambiance right, just need to work on getting the taste right too. A little spice and better flavor balance would go a long way!

Very cute little cafe tucked away on a side street. They have a huge variety of different foods on their menu so there’s definitely something for everyone! We went back a few times for breakfast and the food was good for the price you pay. Portion sizes are very generous as well!

Nook Eatery serves our favorite vegetarian burgers in all of Vietnam! They are absolutely delicious, so much so that we went back several times during our stay. The place is cozy and charming, with an authentic Vietnamese décor that makes it feel very welcoming. The staff are really friendly and attentive, adding to the lovely atmosphere. I was really excited to try Nooks after reading all of the great reviews, but unfortunately, it was a bit of a miss for me. The restaurant looks great and a wide selection is offered, but I found the food itself a little lacking. I order the khoai pancakes and passion fruit juice. The pancakes were soggy and difficult to eat, and the passion fruit juice was very sour. My father had a chip butty with extra bacon, which he said was alright. The chips were hot but the bacon was cold. He also ordered a Fanta which took ages to come, but that was because they had ran out and had went to buy more. My grandmother had the eggs benedict which she said was lovely. My mother had the BLT, which she said was pretty good. She also had an orange juice, which she said was disappointing compared to others she's had in other cafes. My husband had bun bo hue, which to be fair, he said was very good. Overall, most of us enjoyed our meal, but it wasn't as good as I had hoped it would be.

The staff and atmosphere of this place are very good. It’s a nice idyllic cafe with lots of greenery. However we found the food while not bad, not really worth the price. The breakfast muffin with Spanish was 50% spinach and the eggs were a little overcooked. The açai bowl was a little too sweet as it seemed like they added sugar. Not bad but not amazing.

Don't rely on the reviews, most of them refer to the hotel itself, not to the restaurant. Don't bother to come all the way!

I read the reviews and expected this place to be pretty good but the food was very bad. Dry chewy chicken and the “mushroom sauce” was basically instant gravy. Wouldn’t recommend. Also it’s much more expensive than any other restaurant in Hue

This place is a tourist trap. It is expensive compared to other restaurants geared towards locals and the food is not that good. Portions are small and not too flavorful. I ordered the pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce, labeled as a “favorite” and all I got was three small slices of pork in plain gravy with four pieces of boiled vegetables. Very plain. We complained about our food and they didn’t show an interest in finding out what was wrong. You can tell this is not a local favorite since all customers there are tourists.

This place has an incredible Japanese/Vietnamese bar manager with a great team. I think we just about the whole menu and it was exceptional. The craftsmanship and attention to detail is equivalent to those of the best bars in Los Angeles for a fraction of the price. Ask the bartender about “only in Hue” drinks and order a few.

We had a great night at the Riverside Bar, we played pool with the staff all night and had a great chat with the owner Tim along with some free shots and fruit platters. By far the best customer service we have had in all of Vietnam and would highly recommend spending the evening here.

Apparently open rather recently. It will be the bar that all the backpackers and locals will come to in the future. It's a chill place with a barber and a tattoo artist in the same location. It's clean place in resturant and toilet, with good staff and chill music. Ate some fried rice, it was good but nothing I would come back for. Probably they fix that or just keep on focusing being a nice bar. To get it to a 5 for me they need to start serving some craft beer and some cool food. Overall I think places get a waaay to high rating in Vietnam and the be honest I think it's super hard to find good places by looking at Google or TripAdvisor. In short I think they deserve the 4 starts and if I come back to Hue this is the first place I will go to.

Classic Vietnamese place you can’t miss on your trip to Hué. It’s pure chaos on the street and terrace but service, food and drinks are really great! Definitely a must visit!

Great fun place to have a drink at the top end of Hue's walking street. Great menu with lots of options, although unfortunately we found the quality of the food is nowhere near where it used to be. Very much pub style food, especially good value for groups. Beer is cheap and its one of the best places to pull up a chair and enjoy the atmosphere of walking street. Get an upstairs balcony street to watch the goings on from above.

When my friendly guide brought me here, I expected a tourist trap. How wrong was I? Despite the vast size of the establishment, quality is assured! This is right from the welcome throughout the service. We opted to sit upstairs to be able to observe what happens downstairs. The menu is extensive, service is rapid and the dishes we had were of excellent quality. In addition, we had the privilege of being served by Hŭu who was so attentive and caring. Bravo! This experience makes me wish I lived in Hue. We had the deep fried tofu – sublime, beef shank with Kimchi – a triumph, deep-fried chicken cartilage – a real treat, and Vietnamese sausages – truly delicious.

Food was bad, dry fried fish and brown morning glory instead of green. Did not feel fresh at all. We only ate a small part and so did others around us. Probably nice place for drinks and food that does not rely on being fresh.

A nice craft beer bar away from the tourist streets. Much of the menu was out of stock, but I was able to go to the refrigerators and choose a beer from them, including some I hadn't seen before in the south of the country. I sat at a small table by the road; they also have an indoor, air-conditioned room with stools near the bar.

Awesome Pub with plenty (I mean, a lot of them) of beers. More than a dozen IPA's and at least 4 Stout Beers. You can ask for the bottles of draft beers. The staff is super helpful, friendly and know their English very well. The IPA's here are to die for. Great selection from Vietnam Brewers with most of them available. Great looking bar with nice music all around.

Unbelievable selection of craft beer and other alcohol. I'm glad I got the opportunity to try a couple of flights. They've got a good happy hour as well! Friendly service, even got some complimentary nuts with the drinks. The beers are quite a bit more expensive than a standard lager like Larue or Hanoi, but that's to be expected.

We had two days in Hue and chose to come here twice: it's really extraordinary for a small and cozy place to have that many special and fancy types of beer on tap! We tried 5 small glasses with different beers (IPA, stout, lager, cider, pale ale) and then had one more blonde and one cocao-chili stout. It was so much fun to try them all and the two employees were super friendly, attentive and easy to have a laugh with. We also got delicious Vietnamese peanuts as a snack. Both the outside and the inside areas are really calm (the music is nice though!l, so we could have our beer and chat in a very nice and chill environment. Thank you!

An amazing selection of beer and fantastic staff. If you enjoy beer and want to try Vietnamese brewed craft beer - if you like Belgian Trappist beer - definitely visit. Toàn who worked behind the bar was super friendly and helpful as were the other staff.

Good selection of craft beers on tap and bottle. Serves 240/330 ml glasses, so no pints, but does mean you can try more! Also do flights of 5 beers for 150k dong. Revisited a year later and they now do pints! Still a great place with pages of bottled beers as well as around 10 on draught

Great views overlooking the city, nice place to relax with a cocktail or two. Happy hour is between 5-7pm, with 1 for 1 cocktails, mocktails or beer. We were able to choose any seat we preferred. However, there was no section to separate smokers from non smokers.

First Visit (Afternoon/Drinks): Pleasant experience having a few beers. Second Visit (Evening/Food): A complete disaster. • The Issue: Ordered "6 deep-fried chicken wings." What I received was perhaps two tiny wings, chopped into six pieces and pan-fried, a blatant bait and switch (clearly intentional misrepresentation). I immediately refused the dish as it was not what was ordered. • The Service: Staff argued with me for 10 minutes instead of resolving the issue, insisting I had to pay for the dish I refused regardless if I ate it or not. Despite being the only customer, service was painfully inattentive, I had to ask multiple times for a simple drink. • The "Resolution": Only offered a weak 10% discount on the grossly overpriced item I didn't want. They only took the dish back after I firmly stood my ground. • The Final Insult: Instead of any gesture of goodwill for the horrible experience, they added a separate 8% VAT tax and rounded up the total (a classic tourist trap practice of hiding extra fees). • Verdict: Felt completely scammed. Cannot trust the menu or the management. An overall dishonest and frustrating experience I cannot recommend.

This bars in Vietnam are great! The atmosphere is nice, the service is excellent, and the drinks are well-made with alcohol. The prices match the quality, so it’s definitely worth it. I highly recommend.

The café is tucked away in a quiet alley, featuring a uniquely nostalgic design that feels like stepping into a Hue home from the 1980s. Every corner is photogenic, and the lighting creates a relaxing, sophisticated atmosphere. The drinks were decent, and the staff were very polite and courteous. The restroom was clean. The second floor is an open-air space with an interesting design, making it a great spot for couples or groups of friends.

I like cocktails a lot; I scout for the best old fashioned. Here, I found one of the best. Plus, I asked for a spicy cocktail off-menu, and they made it fantastic. And the place itself, is just great and cozy. Totally recommend, must try and come back

Amazing place! We loved our cocktails and delicious Vietnamese chips served with them. We ordered a couple of signature drinks and Negronis. The service is amazing. The music is good and the right sound level. And the environment is seriously beautiful. If I could give beyond five stars I would. We had a great time and will come back when next in Hue!

I just visited OLD MONEY Cafe & Cocktails, and it was such a memorable experience. The bar is set inside a beautiful traditional Vietnamese house, which makes it feel warm and cozy from the moment you step in. The mix of wooden furniture, soft lighting, and relaxing music creates a perfect atmosphere to unwind. Their cocktails are not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and the staff are friendly and attentive. I especially loved how the place combines a touch of Western elegance with Vietnamese charm. It’s the kind of spot I’d happily come back to again and again.

Don't leave Hue without coming here. The space is so beautiful and unique. Drinks are all next level. Basics done well and signature drinks are playful and as boozy as they sound. The service was top notch...stellar in-fact and the background jazz and disco made it all come together. Nice job!!!!

An absolutely stunning place. This is the kind of spot we had hoped to see more often in Vietnam. The vibe is more old-school, and they even have their own vintage shop. The cocktails are excellent. We told the waiter he could choose our drinks, and the second time around he surprised us with an incredibly delicious cocktail that wasn't even on the menu. The staff and the owner are professional and really friendly. ❤️👌

The loud music was as enjoyable as the finger size bites. Surrounded by 5 ladies, I had no idea of what went on most of the time. I did find enjoyment with light drinking, light eating and heavy Vietnamese EDM DJ mixes. One of the premiere spots to drink with friends on main Street at "Phố Tây".

Went casually there for dinner. We had fried rice with beef and mixed banana flowers which were amazing! Meat in the average (grilled pork and grilled beef).. A place with nice disco music and not really crowded .. It's a very friendly place where to have great beers and enjoyable food with friends!

After 5 days in Vietnam Worst restaurant so far. We meant to have dinner in Hans, just two streets away, as we were recommended by hotel stuff but unfortunately it was closed. So we order three dishes, pointing out that I can not eat nuts. The dishes were very spicy, so as we don't like spicy food, we order a salad asking the staff to make it not spicy at all... they brought us a salad full of nuts, we told them that it had been said to avoid nuts so after hesitating a bit they changed the salad for another one this without nut but with chilly and as spicy as the first dishes. The salad was basically chilly some seafood and a lot is coriander.... Prices are expensive for Hue. Not recommended at all.

This venue is perfect - the best decor, lighting, music, cocktails, and staff. There are so many comfortable and beautiful nooks to hangout downstairs and upstairs, including a balcony. It’s a little down the street from the crazy corner where all the bars clash and compete, but still a good spot for people watching. They played funk, soul, and disco the two nights we were there, which is what originally drew us in. Large menu of classic and unique rice wine cocktails. The staff always have a smile and serve with care, but give you space and let you take your time. It really feels like a venue made from personal interest rather than catering for a market. I have no idea why so many people walk past this bar, it is very under rated! The drinks are more expensive than some other venues but worth the money and as a traveller or tourist, it is still a much more affordable night out than back home. Give it a visit and support this venue!

I was so pleased to find this fabulous, French inspired, cocktail bar right opposite our hotel. The drinks were fantastic, the atmosphere both sexy and chill, rolled into one. The staff are delightful. I highly recommend.

This bar is great. The cocktails that use the local spirits are really interesting and worth a try and the classic cocktails are also very good. Also try the buffalo jerky (it's the jerky you know with a cool Vietnamese twist) and the dong dong spirit - it's a young rice plant macerated in rice wine - absolutely delicious. Music is samba and jazz, staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and atmosphere feels more relaxed than the other tourist bars in the area.

A soothing experience in Hué, with a staff as relaxed as sacred cows. Their signature drink is lovely, served in a fashionable glass that reminds of a champagne glass coming out of the Prohibition era in United States. The decoration is a must for everyone with taste and sensitive to art. Any people will diogenes syndrom would absolutely fall in love with their compacted cans table. We are reaching levels of Feng Shui here that are above 9000!!! 1 of the barman plays quite well the piano following the slow and hypnotic flow coming from Bossa Nova songs or Jazz. Without making the speakers scream, which unfortunately is way too frequent in Vietnam. But not at OCB Another barman was a great billiard companion, but i highly suspect him to have not played on full capacity mode. A bar to quench your thirst. A place to relax your mind. See you M

Best bar we've experienced in Vietnam. Great cocktails, fantastic decor/ vibes and excellent music, and good, slower, people watching compared to elsewhere in the area. Should be more busy but took full advantage of, and enjoyed, the chill vibes.

A trendy bar/restaurant with “industrial” theme decor, hence “The Factory”. Downstairs popular but there is a quieter upstairs area with views over the street. The seafood salad was fresh but spicy! The fried calamari, not a large portion, was very tender. Beers at competitive local prices, especially for this touristy area.

Absolutely terrible experience. I ordered a “pork pie” and was served something completely different. When I pointed it out, the staff refused to acknowledge the mistake or cancel the charge. The manager was shockingly rude and dismissive — no willingness to help, just arguing and attitude. Avoid this place if you expect basic respect or service.

Tall beer for 15 VND with wide open spaces to sit and enjoy. Sunday night there was a band playing on the street which was perfect for watching with our beer. Great staff.

Probably the best food in Hue and cheap also. Papaya salad is just awesome and steam goat it’s a must try. Staying in Hue for 3 days and I know where I’ll grab lunch & dinner.

Ate there this evening, food and service was OK but the music was so ridiculously loud that you couldn't hear yourself think, got the bill as soon as we finished and left.

First of all, the food is nothing like on the pictures. The portions are ridiculously small and expensive. My food came completely cold, with like 9 fries on the side. I sent it back and it came back cold on the sides and a bit warm in the middle. I do not recommend this at all.

Food nothing like photo. 1 in our party served steak with a few fries, 3 bits of Cucumber. Steak almost cold and very chewy, nice sauce was only good part. 15mins later 1 more meal arrived for another in our party of 3. Meant to be chicken salad. What arrived was a large plate of lettuce with tomato slices, few onion slices and dry, chewy cold fried chicken squared, again other than the sauce it was terrible, chicken uneatable. My chicken salad did not arrive until 10mins after I asked to cancel order as I was not wanting it after tasting the other one. Staff apologetic but would not recommend, seems they are only interested on those that are there to spend big on beers.

This was a great find in Hue. The food was fresh and exceptional. The owner was very friendly, if I am back in Hue I would 100% come back to eat here. The nicest food I have had in Vietnam!

This was our first and favourite restaurant in Hue. We ate there for two dinners and one lunch. The main lady is very friendly. We were able to buy a bottle of local gin here for 180k. We could not find it in the local shops/supermarket. On our last night we arrived as they were opening and ordered a bottle of wine. The staff could not find a cork screw so had something else. The tuna salad was particularly good but everything was good. Prices were reasonable.

Ok ok OK.. Look no further. Hidden gem! Actually was looking for a diff place nearby and couldn’t find. Make sure to look at the “Hue’s specialities” page!! Pictured - hue pho (def diff than normal pho, a little spicy but perfect, diff noodles), pork skewers in lemongrass (wrap them in rice paper rolls and dip in 🥜 sauce YUM), and the spring rolls were actually so crispy and some of the best we’ve had! And lastly, chicken and rice- idk what sauce it was but honey and delish and CRISPY but moist chicken.

Super cheap meals and pretty yum! Came here two nights in a row to get their bánh khoái (Hue crispy pancake) and I ate about 4 servings?! The sauce that comes with it is so good! It also comes with some rice paper to help eat it. So all that for 45k 😍 It's got some good music (dance) and decent cocktails that are pretty cheap too which is a side bonus. I probably will dream about their bánh khoái for years to come 🤤

We came and ate in here twice , the lady running it is super friendly! (And the guy too) Good selection of food all for under or around 100k dong. Highly recommend the bun bo hue and the hue style spring rolls. Watermelon juice was fresh and cold which is good when it's 39 degrees outside. They even put out a little extra fan for us to help us cool down ! Came for lunch again today as its close to our hotel and went for the bbq chicken sandwich and the sautéed yellow noodles with chicken. Good portions without being too much

Super friendly. The prices are good especially for the tourist district, and the restaurant owner speaks very good English, she's very engaging. I had the Banh Mi with Vietnamese ham, and it was typically crusty bread and very good. The coffee is inexpensive and good. Update: After my 2nd dining experience here I found that all of the food is prepared from fresh ingredients and very little processed food is used. The French fries are peeled and hand cut to order. They are especially delicious. Some people call in advance so they don't have to wait the few minutes extra it takes to prepare them. The French fries with bacon are very good. A full English breakfast is also available. At night it changes from food service to drinks and a music venue run by a British man. I haven't yet experienced the night scene there.

The atmosphere is always good and the Two owners are always present to tend to making sure you have the best possible nights out. Also, they are one of the last bars to close in Hue, hence the name, one for the road. They also serve a decently priced shisha if you are looking for a place with a great environment and something to puff on... Make sure to stop in for a few drinks, you won't regret it

Bar was okay, drinks were a bit expensive but other than that nothing special. The real issue was at the end of the night we paid our tabs and tried to leave, but were confronted by some man (who we assume was the owner or manager) and he said some of our friends who left earlier didn’t pay for their drinks (they did pay but clearly the bar didn’t keep records of that). He accused us of stealing from him and kept insulting us, calling us liars, and harassing us in the middle of the road for 10 minutes. He asked us for where our friends were staying (we had no idea as we just met them that day) and then continued to call us liars and insult us. We had paid our share and were treated like garbage. We walked away, and then the owner and another worker attempted to fight us but cooler heads prevailed and they finally calmed down. 10/10 would not recommend. There are so many better bars just down the road (with way more reasonable prices).

If I could give this place ‘TEN Stars I would cause this is by far the best bar in all of Hue, My partner and I came here on our first night in Hue. We had an amazing day in Ho Chi Minh, however our flight to Hue was diverted to Da Nang airport which wasn’t ideal and we had to find our own way to Hue. We we’re both hungry and wanted to go somewhere to have a few quiet drinks after this ordeal with the airline (Vietjet). We walked past a few places and eventually came across this bar ‘One For The Road’ and I’m glad we popped in. The owners Joseph and Trieu were truly amazing, we had a great meal and decided to stay and have a few drinks. They treated us like family from the moment we walked in and we ended up staying there until 6:30am in the morning. I also did the same the night as well which says a lot right there. We met some really great people and made some life long friends, which I don’t think you would find any where else in Vietnam. We we’re invited back the next night for dinner and had the owners cook for us, I’m telling you the food was incredible, they lent us there scooter to get around and see the sites, raincoats for our tour and closed the bar at 12:30pm on our last night so that we could have last drinks with them before we headed off to Hanoi. They organized for us to be picked up from the airport and dropped off to our hotel and vice versa in Hanoi as well give us a list of places to dine, drink, sites to see and things to do while we we’re there. We will always be greatful for their hospitality, kindness and the love they have shown us during our overseas trip together. I don’t know any place on earth that would show and give this kind love, care and hospitality, it literally broke our hearts having to leave Hue and say good-bye to our brothers but we know that we have family there at ‘One For The Road’. If you’re ever in Hue and want to go somewhere to eat, chill, have some awesome conversations, meet great people and drink the most amazing cocktails you’ll ever have in Vietnam then this is the place for you, the juices are freshly squeezed and sourced from local produce and it absolutely makes all the difference. ‘One For The Road’ was definitely the highlight of our trip in Vietnam and I can’t THANK Joseph and Trieu for an amazing time there, love these guys heaps for all that you did for us and we can’t wait to come back to Hue. New bar in town quite hip and has a young crowd. Has live music most nights but can be a bit Loud at times. Nice modern feel to the place and 3 floors.

20℅ service charge added on your bill! Compulsory to pay! This is a joke, ive lived in vietnam for over a year and have yet to have been told i have to pay a 20% service charge! We were sat at the bar downstairs, not upstairs. Do your self a favour and go else where. There are plenty of better and more reasonable places to go in hue. The live music was terrible also, its all in Vietnamese (which i understand) but its not traditional muisic, its vietnam pop music, more for vietnamese teenager, but they certainly woudnt go there with a 20℅ service charge.

Highly recommend visiting if you're in the area after some smoke or just to chill, its quiet pub down a little side street that's very homely. Loved it so much went back just to talk to the staff and have a drink and a smoke (if you're into that sort of thing), bar man is very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. Ended up staying there for a fair few hours having great discussion about all sorts. He gave my friend and I who are heading south through Vietnam some excellent advice of places to go and not to. Next time I'm in Hue I'll be sure to return!

We were alone there and those guys were so kind and put on music of our liking. Decent cocktails with great price. Simple and cool structure. We had a chill and breezy night there

We came here for a full body massage in the early evening. There was only one other customer, still the staff wasn’t very attentive, didn’t offer us drinks before or after the massage. My partner had a back ache which we explained before but there wasn’t much care towards this issue during the massage. The massage itself did not meet our expectations as it was very soft and more like being rubbed with oil than actual techniques. Worst part for me was the fact that hair treatments including blow drying take place in the same room as the massage so there were about 15 minutes of noise which didn’t make a very relaxing experience. After the massage we were directly asked to tip which we declined after the whole experience. All in all, wouldn’t recommend this place. Sorry!

I got the hair wash + facial + neck massage and it was incredible!! She was super gentle on my face and hair. The aromas of everything they used were amazing. I have never been more at peace.

Came here twice during my 3 days trip. Lovely foot massage with a nice hot tub of lemon grass, ginger and lime to soak your tired feet in. I tried the shampoo, neck & back session with facial too, just wonderful after a really hot day out.
