We had high expectations for brunch at this rooftop restaurant, but everything except for the view fell short. We were the first to be seated and the last to receive our food. French toast, with its beautiful presentation, bamboozled us about its bland taste. The French toast was overcooked. The chicken thigh was dry. Both Full Throttle Burrito and Grandma's Hangover Helper lacked flavor. Service was friendly but sparse. My daughter ordered extra bacon, and it didn’t arrive until she finished her French toast. The server didn’t notice that the bacon was missing until we pointed it out twice. Besides the beautiful view, the one bright spot were the delicious biscuits that were brought out before we ordered. However, we were told the biscuits were complimentary even after verifying if they were. Then, they showed up as a charge on our bill.

Our experience did not start off great but thanks to Duke, the manager and our server, the night was a wonderful experience! We had a large party of 20 and had a reservation for outside. When we arrived we were told we were bumped due to a larger party. We were very disappointed. We specifically chose this location for the roof top dining experience. The hostess did not help the situation. I did not get her name…I’m hoping her attitude and passive aggressive manner is due to her being inexperienced. Duke came out and explained the situation, went over alternative seating, and once we were seated…he sent over nachos for the table! Throughout the night, Duke made himself visible and frequently checked in. Duke even brought out the chef! Our server, Allison, was great. She was patient, kind, and very informed. She is a fantastic server and handled our large party flawlessly! I only took a pic of the small meat and cheese platter…wish I took more! We had the nachos, Brussel sprouts, scallops, lettuce wraps, and so many more delicious dishes! No one was upset about their food choice. Drinks were great too! I had a Tito’s and unsweet tea…you could tell it had alcohol in it…which is nice! No watered down drinks! Overall, I’d recommend this place! They have an outside area that is first come first seated. Lots of tables and chairs all around the balcony. Would be a great date night spot! If you make a reservation for the other outside seating area, I’d call that morning to confirm you did not get bumped.

If your looking for a nice, laid back place to hang out, enjoy a great meal and have a drink or two Up on the Roof up a great spot to do that. It has a very nice view of the city. And let’s not forget to mention Duke, the manager. I enjoy myself every time.

Service was great. I ordered the Clucking Good Cobb salad and crab cakes. The crab cakes were good, but the chicken on my salad was so dry that it was separating from itself. The toppings tasted as if they had been frozen and thawed avocado, eggs, bacon blue cheese. They brought another piece of chicken at my request and it was almost as dry. The two people with me said their food was OK, but nothing stood out about it. The weather was nice so we ate outside. The table was not cleaned before we sat down. The servers were very nice and accommodating.

We had a great time went for a late lunch/drinks. Our service was great. The food came out hot and on time. The drinks were made right. The view was great of both mountains and city. A wonderful place to spend a sunset.

It was OK. We were sat outside in the section away from the bar and service was quite slow - 5 July so maybe new / junior staff. We shared an appetizer, the charcuterie board among 4 - it was huge. They didn't have the muscles so I tried crab cakes and others had the Shrimp and grits. The views are great but we won't rush back. So many better places in Greenville to eat. Maybe we just had hit a worse evening.

I had family in town and we were very much looking forward to a unique dining experience at Up on the Roof, but unfortunately, this fell short in providing such. When we arrived, the dining area and extended patio dining area was empty yet we were told it was busy and no outside seating was available. We didn't have a wait, but we did make reservations well over a week in advance and were really hoping for the outdoor experience. The view from inside wasn't bad, but we chose Up on the Roof to sit outside and enjoy the fall weather. Additionally, while the service from our server was great, all three of our main courses were lacking. We did start out with the nachos and those were fantastic, but that ended up being the best part of our meal. The three main courses we ordered fell flat. The crab cakes looked like canned tuna fish, the burger was dry, and the potatoes that came with the cod dish were underseasoned, so I skipped eating them altogether. Overall, it was a mid experience and may or may not be back again.

I really hoped to go on the rooftop to enjoy this spot but there were so many people we never could get a seat outside. However, we did enjoy some appetizers and drinks. This is a pretty nice spot to do just that..sip.

This is a fun spot if you're looking to soak up some sunshine with a drink in hand! I stopped by while visiting my parents and we had a nice time. It’s a seat-yourself setup and you order directly at the bar—sometimes they’ll have the outdoor bar open too, which is a nice touch. The service could’ve been a bit friendlier, but she was quick and efficient. Overall, a solid place to hang out with friends and enjoy the vibe!

We stopped by here after seeing a street sign that was enticing. Vibes were pretty chill since it was a Monday night. We got a glass of wine and drink at the bar. Prices were pretty decent and there was plenty of outdoor seating- covered and uncovered which gave you options. Hubby’s drink was a bit sweet and my glass of wine could’ve been a bit colder but it was still a good vibe.

Disappointing Service Despite Great Atmosphere The rooftop vibes at SIP are great, and the drinks were amazing. However, the service was extremely disappointing. A group of four of us visited on a Sunday afternoon. There were no more than four other parties there, yet not a single waitress greeted us, took our order, or checked on us. After asking another server, I was told Kelly was supposed to be our waitress — but she never once came over. We had to go to the bar ourselves just to get drinks and weren’t even given the chance to order food. We were also the only African Americans on the rooftop, and while I hope that wasn’t the reason for the lack of service, it’s hard not to notice. This was by far the worst customer service experience we've ever had at SIP, which is unfortunate because the venue itself has so much potential.

This is a great place if you like good wine and whisky. The atmosphere was very nice, and the rooftop patio is amazing! Best service I've had in a long time!

I wasn't as impressed with this place as I had hoped. Their website offers 1/2 price whiskey flights which is why we came. We were told they quit doing whiskey flights a while back so someone needs to update the false advertising online. They were out of lemonade, so I could not get the cocktail I originally ordered. I got the adult "Capri sun" pouch drink instead, which was good but would be better if it closed. The 1/2 price whiskey was a good option for my husband to try some different whiskeys, although we were charged full price on one of them and had to wait to get credit because we had already paid on the handheld device they brought to the table to pay. Had I not texted a copy of the receipt to myself, I would not have noticed. Although the rooftop is spacious with lots of seating and fans, there's not really much of a view like we expected. We got mexican corn dip, but all the bread had huge holes, so you couldn't use it for the drop without it spilling everywhere. Overall an ok experience

As soon as we walked through the elevator door we were met with aggression from the bouncer. We were literally laughing and cutting up in the elevator on the way up so there was no hostility whatsoever on our end. I then questioned the manager as to why we were met with such hostility and he couldn’t say anything. The staff were rude and accusing us of starting everything which is not true at all. We then left and walked to Society and noticed that the bouncer had left Sip and started following us around downtown and we’ve yet to figure out why he was doing that. Needless to say we left downtown all together as we didn’t want to be stalked the rest of the night. Will not be back to this establishment and this was my first experience with the place.

This is a great place. A must go to in Greenville. Belgian Pilsner beer Wild Mushroom Vol-Au-Vent Seasonal wild mushrooms cooked in a white wine and garlic cream sauce served in a puff pastry boat Braised Short Ribs Leek mashed potatoes and creamy brussel sprouts

The food, service and atmosphere were phenomenal. We had the Baked Brie and Beef Tartare to start, both awesome. Entrees were braised short ribs with creamy brussel sprouts (these were really impressive); wife got the sautéed duck breast in cherry sauce with PHENOMENAL bacon diced potatoes. I was jealous. I’m not super into Belgian-inspired beers, but they had a ton to choose from if that’s your jam! I would highly recommend this place purely on service, the food, and ambiance.

The food was amazing. It was bursting with flavors! The atmosphere is pretty cool. Love the wood and brick features. The service was adequate, however we were asked multiple times if they could clear a plate, or if we wanted a box, when we were only halfway done eating. That was a bit frustrating. I'll go back. The food alone is worth a return trip.

The Flemish onion soup was delicious. The seafood waterzooi was a bit salty and the shrimp was a little overcooked, but otherwise decent. That stew also appeared to be Americanized since it has more things in it and served with bread which was not the case when I visited Belgium. The inside had a old-world Belgian vibe since it's located below street level.

Didn’t expect Belgian food in Greenville, SC but it happened and I’m glad. We walked down the stairs to the carmine colored walls and bar area and found two seats at the bar. Ordered the house made ginger beer. For apps we tried the beef croquets and Flemish onion soup. Would order the croquets again but not the soup. Then main course shared moules-frites (mussels and French fries) with three different types of mayo. Heaven.

Love the ambience - staff is amazing - beer selection is great. The problem for me comes from what we ordered - beef stew should have... Beef in it and I barely found one small piece in what was like a runny soup. The onion soup was a puree with nearly zero taste and I had to add salt to just taste onions. Next time I'm in Greenville, I won't be going there at least for the food - $100 for a beer and two meals with little flavor and nearly zero beef is not okay with me.

A real authentic Belgian experience. We come here every time we find ourselves in Greenville SC. A somewhat nondescript entrance, you descent into the dimly lit basement and be surrounded by the buzz. Food and beer are great! We feel like we are in Belgium!

The bartenders are fantastic a their charisma and creativity are amazing to watch. Would definitely recommend going if you can get in. We let them create our own drinks and they did not disappoint!

This bar is super cool. The service is amazing and the staff is super friendly. I will definitely give this bar a 5 star. Note to owner.. the barstools make no sense. They are really uncomfortable. I m 5ft 7 and couldn’t put my arms on the bar because the stool is too low. Seems like an easy fix.

Love this dark and moody cocktail bar! Drinks are well blended and the bartenders are extremely knowledgeable and willing to get creative with orders. I have also attended one of their cocktail classes and loved it! We were able to get behind the bar and mix our own cocktails and take home recipes for every drink we learned about. Would absolutely recommend that experience for a birthday or other special occasion.

Amazing cocktails and a friendly professional staff. Very much a speakeasy experience from the initial walk up to the cozy, vibey atmosphere inside. Def recommend for a late night romantic night or with you favorite group of friends. Drinks are around 15 a pop but worth it!

Alexis helped us and she was solo making drinks all night! She did an amazing job for it being busy! She has very good customer service and is so sweet!

I really enjoy coming here. The vibe is so relax and the dim lighting adds to the ambience. And most importantly their drinks are delicious and not watered down. They can be a bit pricey as I paid 30 bucks for two cocktails but its worth it once in a while.

I went both nights I was in Greenville. Excellent craft cocktails. The first night the power was knocked out by a storm. The second night we sat at the bar and enjoyed Ashlynn's dealer's choices and rambunctious energy.

Stopped in for a late lunch and a beer. Pleasantly surprised. They brew a couple of their own. We had a brown and it was smooth, with just enough sweetness. The burger is a half pounder, juicy and cooked just the way i like it. Came with homemade fries, cut from a whole potato. We parked on the street, but when we got inside, we realized they are located one level down from the main road and there is a parking lot right outside their door on the lower level behind the building. Free parking.

We truly enjoyed hanging out here during our visit to Greenville. We were looking for a place to have a quick cocktail after visiting the falls. We ended up hanging out for two hours and then found our way back that same evening to enjoy the nightlife and sounds of the DJ on Friday night. The food was delicious… the drinks generous. I forgot to take a picture of the fish and chips because we were starved. The buttery chicken was scrumptious. Disappointed they were out of the starving artist but it gives us a reason to come back next year and do it all again… thank you for the hospitality and great memories…

Awesome bar in a beautiful city! Thank you Addison for your warm & friendly conversation 😀 We were passing through town on a roadtrip and wanted to get a bite to eat & a beer. Downtown falls are beautiful but the nearby restaurants were a little fancier than we wanted, Google Maps helped us easily walk to Velo Fellow and we were not disappointed with the casual vibe and food! Portions were huge, had a hard time finishing, wish we could have stayed for the live music.

Cool place that definitely has an old word pub feel to it. Lots of exposed brick and wood interior makes it feel right. It was fairly busy when we visited, and service was pretty good. Food came out quickly! Very tasty too! We had the mac & cheese, black beans and rice. Also had to try the fish and chips, gotta at a pub right?! Everything was very good. I have to say, the black beans and rice was exceptional, so good! Fish and chips (sorry about the bad pic, should have taken more than one) also hit the spot. Could have used a bigger portion of slaw though. It's good as well. The pub mac & cheese is definitely big enough to share. And being so tasty, everyone will want a bit too!

Pretty cool find off the beaten path. It's not high end but it was good. On this night we had a few drinks and Caesar Salad and Chicken Pot Pie. Both were pretty good. I think a server may have not come into work but I don't like to ding a place as it seems hard to staff restaurants lately. Good experience overall.

This place is like a hidden Gem in Downtown Greenville. Apart from some true southern delicacies it offers great selection of beverages. The atmosphere is pretty cool and as that should be for an English Bar.

Short review, great place to eat, food was amazing, clean restaurant, great service. Long review. Great place with a fun atmosphere. I love the board games you can play at your table. There were several pool tables and lots of TVs. We ate here on a Sunday afternoon, and it wasn't busy at all. Just to be honest, I don't think my wife and I would eat here on a Friday or Saturday night, I think it may be a little too loud for our taste. Too each their own! Now for the food, I had shrimp and grits and BBQ pork rinds, WOW AND WOW!!! The shrimp and grits are not like "Southern Charleston" style. The portion is huge, I barely ate 1/2 at the restaurant, finished them for dinner and still so good. My wife had the brisket sandwich, onion wings and collard greens, and loved it . I'm not a fan of brisket, but I did try the collard greens and they were great. The pork rinds were fresh and still popping when brought to the table, BTW, try them with ranch, SO GOOD!! Several servers were taking care of us and were very friendly and prompt. The restaurant and the restrooms were very clean. we will definitely go back, there are several dishes I want to try, I hear the wings are fabulous, but not sure I wouldn't order the shrimp and grits again.

It was a little crowded so we sat at the bar. Service was awesome and the food was delicious. Being someone with Celiac, I really appreciated the gluten-free menu and prep. I live two hours away and I will definitely drive back to visit again!

EXCELLENT!! We were super impressed with everything Local Cue had to offer. The atmosphere was fun and relaxing, the service was fantastic, and the food was delicious. The smoked chicken wings are sooooo good. Bring the family for an enjoyable dinner. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a local restaurant in the area since I had never been to Greenville before, and I happened upon this place. And I'm glad I chose it! Not only is this restaurant BIG with plenty of seating, but they have a ton of games here as well! Dartboards, board games, billiard tables, and so much more! I came by myself so I didn't really play any of them, but this is certainly their biggest selling point and it's a rather unique one at that! And of course, I enjoyed the food too!

Food has that southern / soul food charm - we had pork & collard green egg rolls, Nashville hot chicken bites, potstickers, & the Alfredo chicken flatbread 😋. Staff works as a team to be sure all your needs are taken care of. They have tons of board games to top it off. Will def be a staple on our visits to Greenville!

Food is really good, the later it gets the louder it gets lol. But that's okay! You come in and seat yourself. The food comes out fast and fresh.

Local Cue is one of our favorite spots, whether it Is date night, hanging with friends, or going to watch a game! The wings are the best around!! The flavor is so good, you don't want to sauce them. But the sauces are amazing as well. Thr turbo sauce is my favorite. The food is elevated sports bar fare. Tasty ingredients prepared in unique ways. It is all the food you ACTUALLY want to snack on while throwing some darts, playing hungry hungry hippos, or just chatting with your friends. The servers are all over doing their best, as a team, to take care of your food and beverage needs. Always a good selection of draft beers to try out with your standards as well as a rotating selection to keep it interesting. This place never disappoints!

My wife and took our son here for his 21st birthday. There wasn't a whole lot of people here, which was fine since it was not quite dinner time. The bartender was very friendly and, though they didn't have the ingredients for the drink I wanted, they still had Guinness. Can never go wrong with that!

Haven't eaten there yet. Beers and drinks are always excellent. Bartenders are great. Pool table is $1. Billards were a great time.

Worst experience ever! My friends and I ordered shots and a few other friends came over so we asked for a few more. Bartender was aggressive and rude for no reason. Then we wanted to order a beer and white claws and he FREAKED OUT saying that we were entitled and had a bad attitude for asking because he had to serve other people. Meanwhile, there were at least 2 other bartenders working and we waited more than 10 minutes to be served from the get go. He then proceeded to come around the bar, begin berating my friends and I, and sent a security guard to KICK US OUT. Never has this ever happened to me or my friends. Will never go to an establishment that treats their patrons in such a disrespectful way. Thanks Connellys for giving us a story to tell our friends, and for making sure to spread the word to never come to this place again.

I haven't been for the food, but I've been many times for the nightlife. the crowd leans on the younger, college side, and can definitely get rowdy, but it's still a good place to mingle. we enjoyed a nightcap for my best friend's birthday, and the bartenders were super sweet to us. thank ya!

We frequent Connolly’s and never had an issue but after a video circulating on social media of a Connolly’s EMPLOYEE cornering someone (not sure if it’s another worker or customer) in the bar and screaming til he’s blue in the face and spewing spit in their face, cornered, while the bar is full of customers is disgusting. That bar is obviously not safe. We will not be returning. While things like this have never happened while we are there, the actions of that one emotionally unregulated, unhinged man is cause for us to not return. Control your workers.

Fun grungy bar ...good drinks ..good service! And darts!!

I came here with my wife for a date night and was blown away. The floral ambiance is absolutely stunning—truly one of the most unique atmospheres in Greenville. The food was delicious across the board, and our waitress was knowledgeable and made great recommendations. Cocktails were phenomenal—creative, balanced, and beautifully presented. We also loved the music—just the right vibe for a night out. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to.

I had an amazing experience. First time going and it was truly spectacular. The scenery was breathtaking. Top floor overlooking the city. Great friendly staff service overall. Reservations required for dining if preferred. Outside dining also. Must Go To!!

such a good experience! located on the top floor of the building, the view is beautiful looking out over the city! the decor inside and outside are absolutely stunning. it’s a must try for a date night or a small outing of friends! our server was very friendly and polite, and all of our food and drinks came out extremely quickly. I did not try any food, but I did have drinks. This place is beautiful! Great for a girls night or date night for sure. They are located on the rooftop and the views are amazing.

We came all the way from Columbia to dine here for my birthday. The risotto was absolutely amazing, so creamy and flavorful. Our waitress Allie W gave amazing service as well. The views from this restaurant were amazing as well, and the atmosphere was truly one of a kind.

Everything was 10/10 - I made a reservation for a large group and communicating with Juniper was super easy through email and the Open Table app. Food was incredible and I’m still so shook by the limoncello cheesecake not being real lemon halves! It was divine!

From the food to the view- this downtown hotspot delivered! Laura is an exceptional server and we enjoyed chatting with her. The cocktails are very creative- we ordered Let's Get Weird and Tomato Del Sol... delicious too! For food we tried the Burratta Panzanella which had just the right amount of truffle flavor in the vinaigrette so it didnt takeover your taste buds. We also got the the Sweet Corn Risotto with spicy rock shrimp- outstanding! The ambiance and decor is funky and eclectic in a very tasteful way and something a little different than the usually rooftop restaurant. I would give this restaurant a 10/10 and if we can squeeze it in will try to come back once more before we head home. Cheers 🥂

I've never had a meal that wasn't delicious. Consistent all the way through. As someone who can actually cook, it's hard to find restaurants where you can't find something to improve, but not here. Fuegoooo. Servers could be friendlier and up the vibe, but the food trumps all.

Here in Greenville for the euphoria festival and this was my first event for the wkend. Let’s just say it was an excellent way to introduce me to my first euphoria event. Everything was beyond delicious, all the dishes paired so well with each drink. My fave was definitely the pork ramen. They literally brought out the whole pig and pulled it right there in front of us. Amazing and yummy experience.

Took some friends from out of town last Sunday after our wedding. We hadn't been here in forever but they loved everything from the atmosphere to the food. I got the menage a hog and my wife got the Maui power bowl. It was so good! We started with the philly steak fries because they were out of the egg rolls and everyone loved them. My best buddy got the pezzo di paradiso and even though it was a bit too spicy for him he throughly enjoyed it. His wife loved her burger and really liked the ambiance of the restaurant. This was their first time to Greenville.

My wife and I had stopped for a couple of cocktails prior to a Peace Center Production, after having had lunch elsewhere. We saw these huge noodle bowls being delivered to tables around us that looked so good and smelled delicious that we decided our next trip down we would have lunch here, we were not disappointed. My wife had the Orange Chicken bowl and I had the Maui Power bowl. Both were amazing. Will definitely be back as there are at least 7 other menu items we would love to try. I would actually rate this place 5 stars except they didn’t have any Phillie Egg Rolls, not a deal breaker, I just dislike previewing a menu, getting my taste buds set for something only to be told they are out. This definitely won’t prevent me from returning. Sorry about missing photos but rose on their website are essentially what we received. Highly recommend eating here.

This is a one of a kind establishment. The bartenders and servers are unique people who are always sharing a story with you. The food is simple but amazing. They have their own twist on all their dishes. Very chill and laid back experience. Great place for a first date or 20th anniversary. Reasonably priced. Good alcohol selection and great location. Highly recommended 👌

Sat at the bar with family. Great experience, good food!! My drink was great. I'd love to go back. Only negative was one person's bologna sandwich, the bologna was as thin as a PC of paper, and only one slice at that...basically lettuce and tomato. The pho's were delicious, as were the egg roll app, I'd do those as a meal!

I came here at the suggestion of a friend. I had a delicious Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich with grilled chicken and a Gf bun. Simply put, the best sandwich I’ve had in some time. Served hot, with a side of chips. I recommend getting some werewolf sauce to dip your chips in. Great selection of cider and custom drinks. I definitely will be back!

Cameron was a great bartender, and very attentive to everyone that came into the bar. The smashed burgers were large and delicious.

Don't know why they got rid of Brandon and Raven who were the best bartenders in Greenville and have been there forever but what a mistake by management of this place. They were so friendly and made the best drinks. Hotel guests as well as locals loved them. Was sad to find out they were both let go and then got charged $18 for a drink that was on the menu for $16 and definitely not made as good.

Upon entry to the lounge an aggressive Cane Corso attacked my dog. While protecting my little Pom mix, the Cane Corso bit my hand and would not let go. It took my boyfriend and a hotel security guard to get the dog off of me. In the aftermath of being attached the hotel did not keep their guest who owned the aggressive dog accountable. Lounge staff did not even ask if I was ok. The hotel also refused to take accountability. I was left to pay mountain of emergency room and doctors bills without even an apology from the dog owner or the lounge. This used to be one of my favorite places to visit, but knowing how little they care about their guests and their safety I will never visit again. If you value the safety of your fur babies as well as yourself do not go here. There are many better dog friendly venues in Greenville.

Bartender was too busy trying to get a date with other patrons than taking care of everyone else. Did not make the drinks correctly. Music was too loud.

A large bar that is dog friendly and hip. They foster dogs on site. There's also a nice outdoor seating area with a view.

High class food, but high prices. Soby's is the kind of place that you want to go if you wish to make a good impression or show off to others. You will find dishes here that are far nicer than other places around. At the same time, I really just don't enjoy it. I cannot fault either their quality or their staff, and the location and look is just amazing. But for the price and quantity that you get, it's just not ever going to be high up my list. I tried their quail, hoping to have a new experience and enjoy a different flavor. I understand it is a small bird, but really all I got was a sliver of taste for the quail itself and then an overwhelming portion of stuffing and the flavor of that. Portions, like you would expect from high class, are small but price is double or triple what you could pay for a larger meal elsewhere. It's an experience, and a mostly positive one, but not really a meal that I would choose.

We really enjoyed brunch there yesterday. The atmosphere is comfortable and vibrant. Britt gave us excellent service even though she was covering 12 tables. The food was exceptional. My Shashuka was great and my wife's Egg Benedict on a fried green tomato was excellent. I had to try their special Old Fashion which rocked!!!

We had an amazing dinner at Soby’s last night! We were seated right away, and while they do have a lovely calm outdoor seating area, we chose to sit inside. The service was excellent; our waiter was one of the friendliest and most attentive we’ve had in a while. The food was absolutely delicious. We started with the crab cakes, which were packed with crab meat, and the Brussels sprouts with goat cheese... You must order these! For the main dish, we shared the filet, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. For dessert, we tried both the banana cream pie and the passionfruit cheesecake. Both were good, but the cheesecake was definitely the winner. If you enjoy sweet cocktails, I highly recommend the Lady Diana (vodka, St. Germain, and mango purée), so refreshing! Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back!

Service & atomoshere was excellent, inspite of late reservation, they were able to accommodate 3 of us during busy Friday evening. Had She Crab Soup & Shrimp and Grits, both were awesome. Complimentary southern style biscuit was tender & flaky.

Great upscale restaurant that has been in business for 28 years. They bring you homemade, by grandma’s recipe biscuits and they are the real thing. The food was amazing and our server Donny was spectacular!

Wow! This is a beautiful restaurant downtown Greenville. I sat at bar and wanted a vegan item the hostess recommended the veggie frittata. It was truly delicious. My friend, had the truffle macaroni and cheese served with green beans and crispy fried chicken. We both enjoyed our choices and service was awesome! Definitely a place to try if you’re in town!

When we have friends in town or are just looking for good food on date night we always think of The Cazbah. Brought some out of town friends for dinner last night and they loved it. We got the lobster cigars (a must), panko asparagus, daily bread, beef meatballs, and mini beef Wellington. All were delicious. And for dessert we had the purple sweet potato cheesecake. I could have eaten 5!

I finally was able to dine here for my birthday. The lobster cigars were amazing! My escargot was a little too salty but it was still good. I had the purple sweet potato cheesecake and it was delicious! Our server Grace, was a charm! We sat in the loft and it was nice, but you can hear all the noise from the crowd downstairs. I'll definitely be back.

I've had dinner here and Sunday brunch recently. Delicious food. Very friendly and attentive staff. The lobster cigars are great. The lamb chops are wonderful. For brunch you definitely have to try to shrimp and grits. Definitely a place to come to over and over again!

This place should be on anyone’s radar if you want some amazing food. Service was nice but the star is the food. Loved the smaller plates because my wife and I love to share and try multiple things when trying a place out for the first time. Started off with some fresh bread and lobster cigars. Wow, those were both wonderful! Main dishes were the seared tuna and the special of the night, beef wellington. The tuna was cooked perfectly and maybe the best dish of the night. The beef wellington was a fun spin on the original and the flavors were spot on.

We love the food there! Very flavorful. Perfect size for those who don’t eat a lot! You can just add more if you want! The atmosphere is okay! The upstairs need help! The place seems old and cramp! But the food will make me go back. It so good!

Good dinner. Asparagus was terrific. Meatballs and spinach dip were very nice. Shrimp and grits was odd with maple flavor and beef Wellington was pretty good. Good service and nice spot. Not disappointed but not blown away.

This restaurant was recommended to me, so I gave it a try. I received a friendly welcome at reception. The food and drinks menu is extensive. My meal was deliciously prepared, looked good and tasted good too. I ate at the bar. However, what took the fun out of tipping was the ignorance of the service. No thank you and no goodbye. I also had the feeling that they were more concerned with themselves than with the guests. The restroom was unfortunately messy

Stopped by for a quick drink after riding our bikes around downtown. I liked they that had a small outdoor bar seating area right on the street while we had our bikes parked off to the side where we could see them. They had some good HH options for food and drinks but we just had a couple drinks. Hubby got a mango spritz and they had several unique seltzer options so I got one made with coconut water. Seems like it could be a fun place to go to at night and probably gets pretty busy. They had a decent number of people sitting inside of the bar and we wanted to check out the rooftop before we left. It was very spacious and not super busy when we went on a Monday. We didn’t get to try any of the food but we would come back and check it out since it was a quick but good experience.

Started at the 2nd floor bar. Justin was amazing. The pretzels were piping hot and soft as a pillow inside, and the dips were delish. The fish and tenders were a bit over cooked sadly, but the flavors were really good. They, along with the Mac n cheese, were not hot when served. Otherwise, I'd have given 5 stars. Super fun decor!!!

Found this gem on a side street. Temps were perfect to enjoy patio seating. We were there after lunch rush and before dinner crowds so no wait to be seated. Food was phenomenal. Waitress was personable and attentive. Vibe was cool

Amazing atmosphere — lively without being loud, with plenty of TVs perfectly placed for any sports fan. The food didn’t disappoint either: the chicken was plump, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, and the pretzel hit that rare trifecta — soft, thick, and crisp on the outside. Great spot for game day, drinks, or just pretending you’re out “for one” when you know it’ll be three hours later.

If I could give less than one star I would… we were hosting family from out of town and my sister in law was celebrating her 29th birthday. I was excited to take her here to have the steak and fries w/ chimichurri. 4 out of 6 people ordered this with my recommendation. We get our steak and fries and it looks nothing like what I had ordered before and with no chimichurri… we tell the waitress and she brings us some brown red sauce… we tell her this is DEFINITELY not chimichurri but the kitchen was INSISTING that it was even though it clearly wasn’t. We spoke to the manager after dinner and she agreed the sauce they brought us was in correct. She then brought us the ACTUAL chimichurri sauce that was supposed to come with our steak. We only got $10 off our $280 bill. This was an extremely disappointing birthday dinner. In contrast, we went out for brunch the following day to a different restaurant and had an amazing experience. My meal came out 10 minutes later than everyone else’s and they proactively removed my entree from the bill without any complaint from us. That is how good customer service is done.

Was excited to try this place after hearing about it and seeing all the buzz around it. We were in the area looking for a place that served food late. Was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED. My drink was watered down first off, secondly the food was underwhelming. Nachos were okay and fish n chips were salty Will not be back!!!

Stopped in while visiting Gville... it was May 5th, so tacos were required! Found this spot lively and fun. Live Music and lots of folks enjoying the day. Food was ok. Solid queso and street tacos were good, a little wet and sloppy, but seasoned well and went down easy.

We literally found this place super quick saw passing by in the area and it was so good. The whole menu. Everything was cooked perfect, our waitress never made up wait on a refill. If ever back in travelers rest we will be back!

This place literally nails it in every way to measure and I usually go once a week as a personal treat and to read my bible or other spiritual material. I've always felt welcomed, the wait staff are some of the best, and food has always been top tier. May you send my best to your kitchen staff and waiters/waitresses they kick butt all the time.

I had a business dinner there with a fellow employee, and it was excellent. We got the chicken coop tacos, tamales, and the Alport/pork tacos. The chips and salsa were also excellent, beer choices fine. I highly recommendation.

This place is so nasty! Even the alcohol was terrible and they are super expensive to be so flavorless. The queso cheese dip was disgusting with a ton of grease from the beef couldn’t eat it. I was so shocked at how nasty the ground beef was in the tacos how can you mess that up and $70??? I would have rather went to taco bell at least their food has flavor. Go some where else if you trying something new. Please.

I don't always get to come to Greenville, but every time I do, I go to Sushi Go. Wonderful sushi place right on Main Street. Sarah was very friendly and provided wonderful service. The Hot Tonight and Spicy Tuna rolls were both delicious. And the Green Pearl is one of the best cocktails I've ever had!

We had a little bit of everything from edamame, pork belly (buta kakuni), to the Hot Tonight roll with spicy salmon, cream cheese and jalapeño and a Fire Cracker roll that came out flaming! Owner Max has been in the same location on the corner of N. Main and College street Downtown for 15 years, so you know they’re doing something right!

I had the most beautiful, delicious sushi here last night. I chose to get the Nigiri 7 and look at that plate! I really enjoyed this restaurant as it seemed to have more exotic and numerous items on the menu than other sushi restaurants I’ve been to, particularly in the asheville/hendersonville area. I wish I was a local so I could dine here at least once a week and try all the things. Other than the delicious, fresh sushi, the waitstaff was incredibly attentive and kind.

The atmosphere of the place is very nice and it feels cozy and intimate. I had a Shoyu Ramen and it was absolutely delicious, the broth was so rich and it had so much flavor that I want to go back to have another one right now. I can really recommend!

Great spot, sushi is fresh & tasty! I had a special roll today called Table Rock in honor of Table Rock Reservoir & some of the proceeds go to help fight the fires in that area! Must try this roll!

The freshest fish in Greenville, SC. There is no comparison if you actually like raw fish and are familiar with sushi. My family and I have been going to SUSHI GO for years. I hope they never change the quality. Just be patient as it is a smaller, quieter restaurant. Really perfect for date night if you want to have an actual conversation with someone.

Where is the fish? Not much on our sushi when we ordered the Salmon Lemon and Crunchy Queen rolls. Sadly they were small and skimpy. The miso soup was fine. Had the Flower Harumaki spring roll to start. The crab is mixed with a lot of mayo that isn’t included in the menu description and the dipping sauce is too sweet. I asked for a sesame ginger or ponzu sauce instead and she pointed to the soy sauce. The presentation is very pretty with the edible flower but it just tastes like the mayo. The dining atmosphere is nice. Maybe it’s because we went on a Wednesday?

The food here is a very unique dining experience. The menu rotates around seasonal and local ingredients. All uniquely cooked and beautifully plated.

Everything about the Anchorage speaks yummy! Friend had the gnochetti with anchovy and loved it. I had the sablefish with creamed corn and to say it was delicious is an understatement. It was truly amazing. The white wine we ordered was outstanding, perhaps the best white I've ever tasted at a local Greenville restaurant. Order this one if you love white wine! See the photo. The server Tabitha was so bubbly and fun, and her personality shone through. The manager acted as som and was chatty throughout. We were a table of five as walk-ins and the staff accomodated us promptly. We even sat on the upstairs deck outside for a nightcap. Do not miss this little gem of a balcony! A great spot for an after dinner drink.

Anchorage is a standout in Greenville’s food scene. We sat at the bar on a Tuesday and loved every bite. The Butterbaby Squash Carpaccio was light and creative, the Grilled Bradford Cabbage turned a simple veggie into something unforgettable, and the Seared Black Cod was perfectly cooked with a smoky jalapeño beurre blanc that tied it all together. Portions were spot-on, flavors were balanced, and each dish complemented the next. Thoughtful food, great atmosphere—absolutely worth a visit.

Anchorage delivered an outstanding dining experience, from the moment we arrived to the last bite of dessert. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service is impeccable, and the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Appetizers: Bread Service – The sourdough bread was incredibly fresh, with a satisfying crust and soft interior. The cultured butter and bourbon liver mousse were both excellent—perfectly spreadable and paired beautifully with the bread. Louisiana Tuna Crudo – Bright, refreshing, and full of exciting textures. The balance of citrus, umami, and the crunch of black sesame seeds made every bite a delight. Main Courses: Brasstown Beef Flat Iron Steak – Cooked to perfection and paired beautifully with the Covington sweet potatoes, kale, and rutabaga purée. The sauce was the silent powerhouse—deep umami-rich flavors with just an ever-so-slight hint of sourness, adding intrigue and balance. Pappardelle Bolognese – A rich, full-bodied dish with perfectly cooked pasta and deeply flavorful veal & flank steak sauce. Every element was executed flawlessly. Drinks: French 75 – A beautifully balanced, crisp cocktail with Roku Gin, lemon juice, simple syrup, and sparkling wine. The citrus was bright but not overpowering, and the effervescence added just the right amount of elegance. Mango Angel – A tropical and velvety drink made with Espolon Tequila, lime juice, spiced mango cordial, and egg white. The egg white foam gave it a smooth, silky mouthfeel, while the spiced mango added a subtle heat and complexity. Dessert: Pecan Entremet – A beautifully presented dessert with layers of nutty, creamy, and caramel flavors. The textures were just as impressive as the taste, with a crisp shortbread base, airy mousse, and a glossy, delicate finish. Service & Atmosphere: The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt well taken care of. The restaurant itself is in a charming area with quirky shops, bars, and restaurants, making it a great destination for a night out. Parking was surprisingly easy, which is always a plus. Pricing: The quality of the food, service, and ambiance justifies the pricing. Our meal, including two cocktails, two appetizers, two entrées, and a dessert, came to $127 before tip. Given the execution, portion sizes, and the use of high-quality, fresh, seasonal ingredients, the prices felt reasonable for a fine dining experience. Missed Opportunity?: If there’s one small thing that would have made the experience even better, it would have been the option for an after-dinner espresso. It wasn’t on the menu, but perhaps they offer it if requested. Final Thoughts: Anchorage is a must-visit for special occasions or anyone who appreciates seasonal, high-quality dining. The rotating menu means there’s always something new to experience, and we can’t wait to see what they offer next time.

This meal was out of this world. We did the table tasting and they serve all 9 of their entrees in sets of 3 (for 3 courses) and in portions perfect for the party. The dishes were creative and the flavors were amazing. The 4th course is a dessert. There are 2 floors for dining, the kitchen is open on the 1st floor. The music is great. Service outstanding. Such a wonderful experience.

We have had several meals at this location and have been pleased in the past with food quality. Tonight, however, our food did not meet the same standard. Several of our dishes came out charred. As seen in the picture, the empanada was inedible. We had an eggplant dish that was burned to the extent you could not put a fork in it. The waitress initially offered a refund for the uneaten dishes and a discount which we were happy to accept. When we questioned the lack of a discount on the receipt she rudely claimed she was trusting our food was burned yet she had no way to touch or test it. This was not true, as the picture again proved, the burning was apparent even from a distance. We have always enjoyed our meals here and were extremely disappointed by our experience tonight.

Rounded up from 3.5 My partner and I love tapas, so we were excited to try this place before the fireworks show on July 3rd. We were basically the only customers in the store at the time, which we chalked up to the holiday but maybe was a sign. Service was a little weird—staff were in the corner on their phones and weren’t in any kind of rush to get our orders. At one point we had to walk up to the bar to ask for another glass of wine. We ordered patatas bravas, Brussels sprouts, empanadas, and chicken croquettas. The first two dishes, as well as our wines, were delicious. The last two were unseasoned and generally meh. I wouldn’t rule out coming back for a snack and a glass of wine, especially at happy hour, but I don’t think we’ll be back for a full meal.

Love the music and look of the restaurant. The bartender who took care of us was really nice! The food wasn't the best though. The fried fish nuggets were really good and my favorite bite of food, the fried shrimp had a reallllyyyy thick corn dog like batter, so the inside of the batter was kinda undercooked....i couldnt finish them . The garlic shrimp had no flavor, and the crab salad was oddly sweet. The potatoes were really good...I tried the Spanish style ones and it was a smokey kind of spicy sauce on it. They do have a really good sangria!

We visited Abanico at night, and while the music and atmosphere were enjoyable, there was an issue with the payment. I paid for our drinks with my credit card, but the tip amount was altered without my consent, leading to a charge that exceeded what I authorized. When you visit Abanico and pay with your credit card, it’s important that you check your credit card statement to verify that you were charged correctly.

We had a great time here Saturday night. It was not busy at all, we called to make a reservation just in case and they already had a table set up for us when we got there. There were 5 people in our party and they served us water without us even requesting it which I love! The menu options were unique and incredible and here is what we tried: Pan Con Aioli - this was a super simple baguette and garlic Aioli. It was a garlic kind of yogurt sauce that wasn't super flavorful but was a perfect palette cleanser between dishes. 6.5/10 Empanadas - I only got the chance to try the beef one but we ended up getting one of each and then an extra beef because it was JUST that good. One of the best empanadas I've ever had. Bursting with flavor with this light flaky crust. 10/10 Patatas Bravas - Do NOT overlook this because it sounds simple. This might have been my favorite thing if the night. Crispy bite sized potato with a delectable spicy mayo type sauce on it. Actually blew me away and everyone at the table was fighting for the last bite. The same sauce was served with a few other dishes we tried and seemed to be a staple for them. 10/10 Coles De Bruselas - Seasoned crispy brussel sprouts with a little cheese on top. Absolutely delicious and very well cooked. 9/10 Champiñones al Ajillo - Sauteed mushrooms. Great flavor without being super overpowering. Everyone really liked these. 8/10 Carilladas al Txakoli - This was certainly a star of the evening. My friend jokingly asked that they bring her the whole pot. Incredible tender beef cheek in this flavorful sauce with white rice. It's like the best pot roast you've ever had. Might have to go back for this one. 10/10 Moussaka - Delicious eggplant covered in cheese and sauce. It was very tiny for $10 and we all only got a single bite but it was VERY good and so flavorful. Another star of the meal. 10/10 The meal was around $75 total for all of this(fed 4/5 people) + a soft drink. Our waitress was so kind and personable and did a great job taking care of us. The atmosphere was lovely. Great tapas restaurant. We will absolutely be back.

An Incredible night at an Incredible spot! I came in to Blues Blvd off the street looking for something to do in Greenville. (As a musician, I love live music, especially blues/jazz) The musical guest was astounding, the random musicians that he brought up to feature were breathtaking, and overall I couldn't imagine a better time at a Jazz bar. Todd (bartender) and Maya were amazing! Todd was extremely attentive all night, and they both helped me the next day to find my lost card (whoops). Thanks for Everything!!! ❤️

If you want to experience a fun, feel good vibe, head on down to Blues Boulevard Jazz! The atmosphere is so cool, the staff is incredibly friendly, the food is delicious and the drinks are top notch! We had so much fun listening to the band, everyone in the club was singing along, dancing in our seats, enjoying the evening with good food, drink and a great crowd. I highly recommend you check this place out!! I will definitely be back again and again!!

I've passed by this place quite a few times and finally attended a show to see Dee Lucas. Dee Lucas and the band were great (although the show started a little late). The food and drinks were great. Todd was amazing, tending to the bar and tables. He was everywhere and doing everything, while continuing to check on me throughout the night. The staff were nice and polite. I will definitely be going back.

If you are not into bar food, then eat before you go. However, the drinks are absolutely awesome, and so is the service. The atmosphere may be tight inside, but it is still comfortable. I enjoy being there every time I go. A very grown-up atmosphere.

I have been to blues blvd before, this time I decided to go on a weekday. I wasn't a large crowd but the young guy was playing the saxophone and it like I felt the music in my soul! Great place for date night.

Farthest thing from an Irish pub just based on the dress code. This is a hipster Irish wannabe bar suited to an overpriced city to make the masses think they've visited an Irish pub.

Not worth it. It took forever to get food, it wasn't very friendly, and they had the nerve to add an automatic 35% gratuity.

This place is not good. I’m surprised by all the 5 star reviews, maybe we just didn’t come at the right time or day. My Mountain Dew had no carbonation and 2 ice cubes. When mentioning it to them, they didn’t know how to fix it. How hard can it be? Our nachos were cold. Service was subpar. Honestly , the water was the best part. Don’t come here if you’re hungry. You’ll be let down.

Absolutely incredible. Amazing drinks, great atmosphere, AMAZING service. The staff here are some of the best on the east coast. Haven't been to the west coast yet, but these guys are probably the best there as well. I felt comfortable and at ease here, I felt like I could really be myself which is a statement. Could not reccomend this place enough, if you want a good experience then come here.

First time here, we will definitely be back. The food was fantastic! My wife got the wings which were at least in the top 5 wings we've ever had. Not the saucy kind of wings that drip all over your nice clothes and stick in your cuticles, but the perfect kind of dry rub with some sauce. Soooooo good! I got the Reuben which was definitely the best one I've ever had. I've been to lots of Irish restaurants east of the Mississippi and this was the best Reuben I've ever had! Thickly cut, perfectly made. The bartender Etta was absolutely delightful, experienced and very knowledgable about the area. 10/10

The beer is cold which is nice. The chicken caesar wrap is so dry and just falls apart, no attempt to even wrap it well. The chips are SO over seasoned. Wings are good. Our server was alright, no personality or small talk. No expressions. Just kinda there honestly. Wouldn’t go back!

Took 10 minutes to have a bartender give me a menu and another 10 to order. Food and drink are crazy inflated in price for what they give you. If you're going to pay 12 dollars for a single drink go to a fine dining bar/restaurant and pay the same or a little more. Also, the music is way too loud; can't hear anything. This was my first time being able to order anything since they reopened. The last time they had so many people inside that you could barely reach the bar let alone order.

This place got the best buffalo chicken dip with those chips!!! The bartenders and servers are great super accommodating and personable!!! Love coming here the vibe is great as well!

Honestly really disappointed with my visit to the new city tavern....first of all the menu has changed a lot despite the goal of the renovation being to fix the outside and retain the character inside. I would say that was not what happened. the inside is completely different: it feels like a totally different place. I see the pros and cons of this so I won't let that impact the rating, but overall I would say the character of the previous restaurant was not retained. the menu changes: gone are tater tots, cheese fries, boneless wings, onion rings...in are broccolini, citrus salmon, and deviled eggs?? interesting choices for bar food... onto our experience. we had really, really poor service. we saw our server TWICE. to take our order and drop our food off. I didn't get a single refill of soda (which was $3) or water the entire night. we had to flag down a different service member to bring us our check (about 2 hours after we were done eating). after about an hour of having our empty plates in front of us, we decided to just put them on a different table so we could have our space back. so the service was very very bad, despite quite a few employees working behind the bar and on the floor. the food: after being away from city tavern for a few months during the renovations, i was excited to have boneless wings and tots again, but as i mentioned that has been removed from the menu for whatever reason. SO I went with the cajun philly which was always one of my favorites at the previous city tavern. this came with chips as the free side. not my favorite, but okay. to "upgrade" to french fries (which was the free side at the old tavern) was an additional $THREE FIFTY. $3.50 for FRENCH FRIES???? These were also listed as a "premium" side (french fries). I didn't order them because I think that is a ridiculous price to upgrade to fries (keep in mind this to sub chips for fries, not add fries on top of it). but someone in my group did and I'm glad I didn't. they were incredibly bland and a really small serving especially given the upcharge price. The chips themselves were cooked to be far too crisp in my opinion and were drowning in what tasted like Old Bay. The sandwich itself: previously the sandwich was seasoned so well that it was almost dry, and you could add the spicy ranch to add a little moisture. this sandwich, however was super bland: little to no seasoning especially when advertised as a "cajun" sandwich. Overall, i spent about $18 (before tip) for a really bland sandwich with some chips as the free side tht I didnt care for and a soda that I never got a refill for. The guys at my table spent $22 for a sandiwch, fries, and a soda. not a great value for some food that was mediocre at best.

Had lunch at this trendy seafood restaurant. Not a lot of seating so time accordingly. I ordered a fried clam roll and salad. My friend ordered a lobster roll (with mayo, which in my opinion, is sacrilegious). They also offered lobster rolls with melted butter. Salad was very good as was the dressing. The clam roll was good, but I detected a hint of old bay in the batter. And they could put a few more whole bellies for the price. I counted 7-8. My friend said the lobster roll was good. I thought it lacked large chunks of lobster meat. They had a full house at lunch. I would probably not go back when in town, but overall, it was a good experience. I am a native Rhode Islander and put a high bar when it comes to seafood.

This was my first time here! I went on a Saturday, which was super busy. We had to wait for an hour, but it was worth it. I got seated at the bar, and the bartender was super friendly and welcoming. We ordered a few things to share. The chef’s choice oysters were okay—some were a bit too bland for my taste. But the hush puppies are absolutely delicious! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and full of flavor. For the main dish, we shared the Connecticut-style lobster rolls—and wow, they were amazing! The lobster was so fresh and sweet. If they used just a little less butter, it would have been perfect. I’ll definitely be back to try more! 🍽️🔥

This is a great place! We went abot 5:30 on a Friday and had to wait about 35 minutes to get a table not bad at all. The whole staff was super friendly. The hostess was very nice and gave suggestions on the meals! The bartenders were quick and very nice as well. We had the best server nhe was very knowledgeable and was always checking on us throughout the whole meal the hostess even came over at the end and made sure we had a excellent experience! Will definitely be back. Oh and the food was amazing definitely get the hush puppies!!

From the moment we walked in, warm, friendly, welcoming. We could not have imagined a better experience. Trinity suggested our entire dining experience. Rudy kept us company as the best shucker and oyster connoisseur. Jesse highlighted our dining experience. Blair chimed in when we had random food questions. This staff has its own unique and wonderful vibe that only makes you want to stay longer. This experience alone will be why we will visit Greenville more than once! So much more than 5 stars.

Waited nearly 2 hours, and we’d say it’s worth it. The place was tiny (hence the wait), but food was great. The only odd thing was that both my fiancé and I ordered the crab fried rice and yet his came out different from mine. Mine lacked certain seasonings and toppings that you can clearly see on his (like sesame seeds). His was also a different color than mine, was more flavorful, and more “fried” than mine. It was almost as if mine was half done, but I still thought it wasn’t bad. Just wasn’t as good as his. We do highly recommend it all though.

The place is very pretty… that’s all. The service, sorry but was awful. It’s supposed to be a high end place.. and the waitress was very rude, not just one time… all the time. The ambient is good, sometimes kind of weird, you can see a whole family with baby’s in there, and a bunch of guys in other part. So you don’t understand, is a bar, a restaurant or what… At some point the place was very loud, and you can’t hear nothing. Needed to open a window or something, to let the noise out. If you want to go, and have a drink is fine… but I don’t think it’s worth the time.

Spirit and Bower is located right along the Reedy river and Falls Park; the view is stunning if you sit outside. The restaurant/bar itself is part of the grand bohemian Hotel. We came here twice for cocktails. The drinks are fine, but nothing spectacular. The pricing is a bit expensive for what you get, but the trade-off is the view. The interior design is also quite nice.

Food was good, healthy sized portions. Varied options with an excellent wine and spirits selection. Our service was less than stellar. She seemed annoyed and off-putting in result service was sluggish and we only got apps and a drink before we moved on to another nearby restaurant. Regardless Spirit and Bower has a wonderful view and great location.

Sat in the bar area looking out toward the patio seating, noting service is perfect indoors or out but best is the beverage list. Sip and converse like the waters over the falls as there’s always and proven so, a reason to return.

This is an amazing place to be able to sit and enjoy a drink before dinner or just into itself. The views out of the window into all of the greenery is very therapeutic. It is a little frustrating! This is the second time that I have been here. I have gotten a total of 4 drinks. 2 on each visit (an old fashioned). The drinks have came out different on both occasions. You would think that a place of this level would have some consistency.

Stopped in on our walking tour around Greenville, and we're so glad we did! First we were blown away by the Grand Bohemian Lodge, and then to be able to sit and have a cocktail in the same atmosphere made it all the better. The Espresso Martini was made the "proper" way, and the pimento cheese was the best! Service top-notch as well.

Best cocktail bar in GVL, they make a phenomenal smoked old fashion and the staff is excellent. As an example of their customer service, I ordered my usual, it came out a bit sweet. I didn’t say anything, I come here all the time and everyone makes mistakes. I was about halfway through my drinks and the bartender came to our table, mentioned she made a mistake on the drink, and wanted to make it right by bringing me a new drink. Great people, great food, great ambience. Love it!

Spent our 20th anniversary night in the Library at The Rabbit Hole. Everything was perfect....from the food, to the cocktails, the service and the setting. It was a great night! In the secret library, you get the small scale individualized service that you want for an intimate night. The food was spot on, perfectly cooked, amazingly seasoning, inventive and perfectly paired for flavors. Every ingredient fused and matched so well for both the cocktails and the food. I won't describe everything we are, just come and experience perfection yourself. The staff was so welcoming and kind, offering us a complimentary drink to toast with. This restaurant is one of the top 5 we have been to in the world. Thank you so much!

What a great, fun, beautiful little place! Alice in Wonderland themed, an award winning restroom, don't miss it. Fabulous food!!!! Simple and unique menu. It's very small, make a reservation!!! This is a one of a kind place please visit and enjoy. I want this place to be there for a very long time. You can tell the owners really care about quality. We thought the portions looked small but the flavor and fill factor proved us wrong. 2 of us took leftovers. Hat's tilted to the Mad Hatter chef. I forgot to ask how often they change the menu, doesn't matter, we will be back.

We had a phenomenal experience! We started with outdoor seating and had a delicious drink. There was then a cancellation in The Library, so we were able to enjoy the beautiful space. I asked if I could have a mocktail for my second drink, and Travis crafted the best I’ve had! Truly incredible service and wonderful atmosphere - we will be back! I went here to celebrate for my Bachelorette party, and the food, the drinks, and the atmosphere were F A N T A S T I C! All of the waitstaff went above and beyond to make our experience fun and exciting and everyone was just so nice! If you want the true and full Alice experience, please try The Love Child drink! We didn't have food tonight but we have in the past and it was creative, perfect for our cocktails and appetite! The atmosphere in the Library, make reservations!, was beautiful and inspiring. The cocktails were OUTSTANDING AND VERY UNIQUE. you can get whatever you like to drink but, trust me, let the staff craft the cocktail of your dreams.

Was there a few months back and forgot to leave a review but they definitely deserve it. Planning for a 2nd visit soon made me remember. Truth be told i don't get into fancy drinks which is what the menu consists of so when the bartender asked what i would usually order i told him an Old Fashioned. He asked if I trusted him to make an off menu drink similar to one and i did. It turned out to be the best drink i ever had. Just wish i could remember what its called. We tried many of the appetizers they offer and they all were outstanding. The decor and atmosphere is perfect. Some of the seating is close to the people around you but its calm and quiet enough that it wasn't a problem (guess it could depend on who sitting there).

The Radio Room is an amazing Venue. I just came tonight to see A WAR TO WIN play. The acoustics are great, the band was phenomenal, and I’m not just saying that because I’m dating the Lead Singer.

Went to see Pink Floyd cover band. These guys were fantastic! They are out of Atlanta, and Their sound was very comparable. The venue was amazing, lots of room and even some round tables. The food was delicious. Had the special burger, my wife had the grilled cheese. Very tasty for a concert venue. I was impressed. We will sure to be back. And if you get a chance check out this band Interstellar Echoes, you won't be disappointed.

Pretty decent venue to see a show. Went and saw Geoff Tate and not a bad view of stage. Bar is easy to access and tenders were nice. Just had some beer. There was free water as well which was awesome!

Been seeing bands at Radio Room since the original on North Pleasantburg. The new space is such a proper music venue first and foremost. Sound was incredible, restrooms huge and clean, big and quiet back patio, great mixed drinks, huge bar where you can get a drink almost immediately and killer chill staff. Next time i’ll come early and get food and update this. Loved watching this journey for you all at Radio. Oh, and so so much parking!

Took over 30 min at non busy time to get grilled cheese. Glass of house wine was about $5 in flimsy cup 2/3 full. Loved the band we went to see though.

I have lived in downtown Greenville for almost a year now. I’m a 10 minute walk from all-things downtown Greenville, and there isn’t a social location I haven’t investigated. The ‘West End’ of Greenville is maybe a little slower than ‘North Main’, but it has a hidden gem of entertainment. That hidden gem is ‘Smileys on the rocks’. It’s the only venue that offers live local music, live band karaoke and the top local musical talent that Greenville has to offer. If you’re a local resident of the Greenville County area, or if you’re on vacation and you love some great live music that is also blended with a warm socially friendly vibe. Stop into ‘Smileys’, as it’s affectionately referred to. You won’t be disappointed! You’re probably going to run into Allee (Al-ee) bartending, who always greets you with a warm smile. You won’t find another local bar that offers amazing live music every Saturday from noon until 1 a.m anywhere else in downtown. So, come experience the true heart of Greenville music with great staff, delicious food options and friendly people P.S. If you see one star reviews by people with no explanations, just know ‘they’ were the problem…. It’s genetics, not bad business practices 😏

A co-worker and I were in town during a business trip and stopped in on a Tuesday night. The ambience and lighting were very pleasant. There was live music that created an excellent vibe and the sound quality and volume were perfect. We tried the wings which were top notch with multiple excellent seasonings and sauces and the beer selection was very good, ranging from multiple local craft beers to some of the more typical beers and there was even a hard seltzer on tap.

Went in here the other day and they had a Chelsea FC match showing! Cool to find out that BluevilleSC, the local Chelsea supporter club, actually convenes here for matches and they even show the early matches!

the only reason I give them two stars is because I enjoyed the band which I sat and listened to for 2 hours while I waited for a cheeseburger I ordered TWO HOURS EARLIER.. The band was great so I hope I can catch them at a better venue later because I'll never be back here. First and probably last experience.

We went here on a Monday night. And it was super fun! We never really go out on this end of Greenville but Smileys and The Matador make it worth it. Plus they’re really close to each other so that’s perfect. Love the vibe of this place.

Have been here several times now and I never leave reviews unless I am either very impressed or I am very disappointed. Smiley's is a 5+ The food here is well prepared with much of it house made. We have tried and love the spinach artichoke spread, pimiento dip, pizza, and wings. Much more to try on future visits. Abundant beer choices with a great drafts list. The local entertainment brought into Smiley's is great and showcases well the local talent of the Upstate of all music genres. Met Todd, one of the owners, on our visit yesterday-a great guy. We visited early in the day and Todd actually waited on our table and it was nice to talk with him about Smileys, the food and the entertainment. We enjoy music being in the day or early evenings and Smileys gives you that choice with their music schedule!! This place is a Greenville gem-if you haven't tried it-look at their website for an artist that you think appeals to you-and give Smileys a try. You won't be disappointed!!

Awesome place with talented pianists, singers, & musicians! And the staff provided top notch customer service & very friendly. My friends & I were celebrating my fiancé's bday last night(June 15th) & I requested a bday song for him. Well, the musicians & the crowd were amazing! We all got him on stage & he was so surprised & a little embarrassed. But he loved it! So much fun! I went for the first time a few weeks ago and went back for a second time this past weekend. It’s definitely a vibe. I didn’t eat any food there but from what I saw on the menu, it’s your typical bar food items. The drinks are decent. Try a fishbowl if you go!

Such a fun time!! Highly recommend to anyone in the area. Music begins at 8pm. 7pm they open. Can easily get a table without a reservation if you go early enough. $10 to get into the door, $12 for a reservation. Food and drinks are good. The fries are especially good!

A great time was had by all! This was my second time at this place and it was a blast. They had 4 very talented musicians able to play hundreds of songs in a night. It is very impressive and a great time. The fish bowl is a MUST, and you should get some jello shots as well. Have a good time but plan to walk or get a ride home...

My first time at the Zorba. I had the hamburger steak with mushrooms. So delicious and a huge portion. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. I had a side of French fries and they were fantastic- hot and better than any fries I have ever had. The staff is friendly and very attentive. It was a great experience all around.

Great little hole in the wall with great food and drinks. Prices are below average which makes this place a hidden gem. Service was great and would recommend trying this place if you are in the area for some bar food.

Well, I ordered a A plate with fries. Sandwich arrived but no fries. I called Zorba and the lady said they made a mistake and if I wanted to come get them I wouldn't have to pay. The reason I ordered in is because I'm busy and didn't want to leave. She said she could put my name on a list so if I came by I could get the fries. STILL NO HELP!!!! The food i did get was very good

Tucked away in the same rather unremarkable strip center as the Spinx Corporate offices is a true hidden gem, Zorba Lounge. Easy to miss if you’re not looking closely at the corner of Washington and Laurens Road, look for the “temporary” blue sign at the top (it’s been temporary for a while). If you’re a first-timer, don’t bother to look at the menu. Just order the steak sandwich. It’s the best in GVegas, and like EVERYTHING else on the menu, it is huge. It’s available on a onion bun with mayo only for $12.95, other condiments extra. You can add fries for $3, but just get the half order, any more and they pour off the edge of the plate. You could also get the steak sandwich sub ($13.95), which comes on a hoagie roll and already has mayo, grilled peppers, grilled onion, mushrooms and provolone- again, just the half fries, they’ll end up out on the table anyway. My colleagues chose the half chef salad (all you could need at $10.75) and the Reuben ($8.75), which is appropriate only if you’ve already had the steak sandwich on a previous trip. Be patient with Susan behind the bar, on our recent Tuesday visit (and most other days) she’s on her own and literally running to keep up with orders for the whole place. A visit to a bar and grill still stuck in the 70’s decor, you don’t want to miss.

It's a local neighborhood dive that's worth the drive! Everyone is friendly here. Comfortable atmosphere. Loaded with character! A local "Cheers!" right in Greenville. If you go, order the hot sub steak! It is loaded with meat, cheese, onions, peppers and mushrooms. My absolute favorite dish!!Come join the Zorba Lounge family! You won't leave hungry!

My husband and I love this place. They have the best wings and club sandwich! The wings are big and they are flavored from under the skin. The club sandwich was fresh and always on point. The french fries were hot and fresh. You won't be disappointed.

Community Tap has great happy hour 4-6 prices on tap beer. Occasionally they have music. Nice outdoor venue, however seating is limited. Great place to stop if you are on the Swamp Rabbit Trail.

Nice watering hole with a decent selection of beers. Also, they have a good group to choose from to take home with you.

Community Tap is great. The selection of beers on tap is always on point and will have something for everyone. Vibes are great. They also have a huge selection of beers in the fridge to shop from. The staff does great, always quick to offer a rec based on what you like.

Visited Community Tap as we have heard great things about this place. They have a huge selection of craft beers and wines. Maybe we just visited on an off night, but the staff was not very friendly. The IPA’s were good, and the food vendor for the night was not bad. Wasn’t the best experience I’ve had at a local tap room, but certainly wasn’t the worst.

I love this place and it's in our rotation. I always get great recommendations from their staff. They have indoor and outdoor seating and great selection for take home, as well as drink in .

It was my first visit to this location. I usually go to the one in Travelers Rest and have enjoyed every visit. This place is no exception. The Pimento Cheese and appetizers were fantastic! And of course, so were the brews! Salut!

I visited on a Monday evening and probably caught them on an off day. The setting is bucolic and the location is great when you are riding bikes around town, but the vibe reminded me of an airport bar inside. If you order anything with the ability to create a head you get at least an inch of that. It says free wifi, but it's not clearly posted and good luck getting anyone's help after you close the ticket. FYI they allow 2 tasting pours before ordering.

I had a great meal here. Most everything is gluten free, and the chef guided me through what I shouldn't have. It was delicious. Reys is a bar. The restaurant is in the back and called Half Rooted.

I was in town visiting family, and we wanted to watch the the Jaguars game. They were very accommodating and put the game on a few of the tvs around where we were sitting. We had the pork nachos which were DELICIOUS, a Cuban sandwich yum! And a few other appetizers. Beer was cold and service was great. If you love sports, this is the spot!!

First, the bartender and wait staff are the friendliest and funniest I've experienced in Greenville. Service is super attentive. Sitting at the bar is so fun. The music is not too loud but solid for playlists. Late 90-2010. Best wings, great price and huge!

Hall of Fame WAS a great sports bar with a personable staff. We have been frequent patrons for several years, but, with recent changes, we will not be coming back. The staff are robots with no connection to the patrons,really hate to post this as we still consider parts of the staff extended family. Hopefully the owners will see the faults of their decisions and get back to a great sports bar.

If you want to watch NFL games, and I assume college to, this place is a must. Food was great, service great. Get there early, because it fills up. Every seat has multiple tv views. Parking sux, but whatever,

Fair disclaimer we are not sports bar people, so can’t comment to that aspect, but the environment definitely seemed very relaxing, clean, and good tv access for those who are here for that. We came to try their food/brunch after church one sunny afternoon. The outdoor seating was nice, server was very attentive and courteous. However, the kitchen was so painfully slow, even with only a few people in the restaurant, that we got very close to getting up and leaving after nearly an hour wait after ordering. Had it been 2 more minutes we would’ve been gone. I ordered the burger with egg and cheese on top, and this was an incredibly delicious and fresh burger. Cooked perfectly. Wife tried the egg scramble cheesy burrito Which was flavorful and filling, and a tasty refreshing Bloody Mary. It is a shame the service here is so slow, we definitely could see coming back for the food. Quality way better than standard sports grill.

Great food and atmosphere! Love all the TVs for sports. I just recently moved back to Greenville after being away for years. I will be back during football season to watch the games!

Fun atmosphere. Excellent burger. Cuban was really small for the price. Home fries and slaw were okay. The server was good, but the kitchen was slow, even though there weren’t a lot of people getting food.

Just went there at 12:40 on a Saturday night, and they rejected letting me in for a white tank top (not a T-shirt like the sign says) and the two security fought about how one said I’m ok and the other said no. End result, they said no. P.S, the guy in front of me was let in with camouflage pants, which was on the same sign of prohibited prints. Don’t risk going if you’re wearing fabric.

Another little gem in the downtown Greenville area. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bar staff was great. We didn't try anything off the limited menu, but the libations were good.

I have been coming to DTs for years and have never experienced the amount of blatant racism I have experienced tonight. After a brief altercation with a woman who assaulted my friend and I TWICE. We were put out after calling the security and she remained in-the club even after causing a major commotion twice. Who do you know assaults somebody and gets to remain in the club twice? Obviously queer white people and that’s okay? Very disappointed in the way The security and staff handled this incident. DTs will never get my money or my company’s money ever again.

Everyone was shoved out of the bar well before closing time. They apparently decided to close over half an hour early and the bouncers took people's drinks and physically pushed people out of the bar. When it's good, it's okay. When it's bad, its real bad. That's the vibe

Everything was good last night until a fight broke out and the bartender made the comment no one is safe everyone has to go. I thought she was nice until this she the one that draws harts on her receipts.

Rudest bartender with short blonde hair and utah curls ignored EVERYONE in the bar while she screamed and yelled at another bartender. looked super undertaffed. waited 45 mins at the bar for literally nothing while people behind us just wanted a chance to order. Shook her head and looked annoyed at every customer and then laughed with and made drinks for only one customer that seemed to be their friend.. weird behavior.

Great atmosphere and company. Billy really is the best! For a low key night we had a great time!

The vibes here are classic, laid-back, and unmistakably Irish. Even though I don’t drink, the drinks seem to be popular and well-made. The food is solid—especially the fried chicken, which is surprisingly good. What really sets this place apart is the atmosphere. It’s fun watching people play volleyball and cornhole while you eat. Great spot to kick back and enjoy a chill night.

Instead of politely warning us about their food policy, they kicked us out. We would have happily complied and just left our snack in the car but we didnt even get a chance to put it away . I've brought food before like cookies or cake to celebrate my birthday. If thats changed then a fair warning would've been understandable but we were escorted out. I always support this business and buy drinks here when I play volleyball. My stomach doesn't agree with the food made here but I'm not going to bash a business for a difference in food preference. However, I will speak up for poor hospitality.

I come here often to watch Volleyball tournaments and hang out with family and friends. Very welcoming atmosphere and fun place to hang out. Plenty of TV’s for sports and games.

Sadly can't say anything nice about this establishment. First off when I told the owner the website says they open at 12:00 noon he dismissed my comment. He said he was unable to make the drink that I requested. (Long Island iced tea. Then proceeded to tell us that food won't be ready for over an hour after they opened. They were rude to say the least. The man making my drink touched a trash picking device with his bare hand then proceeded to grab my lime for my drink without washing his hands. Very disappointing considering I came back after they opened at 4:00. Just so I could try the food. Needless to say we left without eating and we won't be back.

Highly anticipated and just as I imagined! A fabulous place for a beer. Their Bird Brains sour is very well done. The imperial stouts were very tasty too. I love the barrel vibes inside. Huge patio and grassy area with plenty of space for kids. Really nice, laid back kind of place. There's lots of outdoor seating and green space where some were kicking a ball around and just enjoying a nice Saturday evening. The place is a bit rustic and has other businesses within the buildings. I had a couple beers which were great and the staff was friendly and happy to explain the drinking options. I'll be returning again.

One of the best brewery stops in the state, not just the upstate. Family friendly, dog friendly, just down right friendly!! Their beer is well rounded, with trending styles and classic tastes, with something for everyone. Their bartenders are talented and friendly, and I’ve always gotten good pours. The inside is not huge, so seating can run out quickly on cold days or nights, but the outside area is fantastic with a green lawn for dogs and kids to run around. Inside you’ll find some games and things to pass the time. If you get hungry White Duck Toco Shop is next door or check to see if they have a local food truck. Great place to chill with friends, family, pets, or even just relax by yourself!!!

Well put together beer bar and brewery. Can get tacos delivered from next door. Dogs are welcome. Great beer and a great staff.

We absolutely love this place. I have never had a beer I didn't like. You can grab a taco at White Duck, throw some axes and buy some art. There is an open area that the kiddos can play and the whole area is very dog friendly. If you are riding the Swamp Rabbit Trail, there is a path right to the Hampton Station. If you've never been here, check it out and Swamp Rabbit Grocery right down the way.

I'd start by saying Birds Fly South isn't for everyone. They really specialize in sour beers, and even their non-sour beers have a sour vibe. That being said, if you like sour beers, Birds Fly South is the place for you. I could drink Rustic Sunday everyday and be a happy camper. The brewery is not necessarily the easiest to find, and is definitely eclectic. You're definitely in a brewery. I feel like the quirky nature definitely lends itself well to the style of beer they make.

Omg 😳 my husband and I had a blast after doing some shopping 🛍️ we decided to drop in for a cocktails so glad we did. We love bourbon. They have so many options and including some options you cannot buy anywhere else they have a full bar we greeted by friendly staff the vibes was dim lights and cozy seats. They was playing some music in the background which helped with the experience. My husband and I were dancing at our table and singing. They said younger crowd come over the weekends and at a certain time of night a lot of the young crowd come there to hang out. We went before that time so there was plenty of seats available. There was enough for 4 to 5 people per table. The drink Menu have something for everyone good place to hang with friends or date night in middle of downtown by all your top restaurants which I love the location you would have to park near by car garage pay a few bucks and then walk over

Living in Dayton, Ohio, I was encouraged by numerous friends to check this place out while visiting Greenville. My wife and I are so glad that we did! The atmosphere was super cool, and the two bar tenders (a guy and this other girl, I wish that I could remember their names) but they were absolutely wonderful! The drinks that they made us were fantastic, and they were both so personable and fun! You could tell right away that they loved their job, and were passionate about this place and the owner! Great work! We’ll def recommend to our friends and will certainly be back!

A definite hidden treasure for bourbon and whiskey enthusiasts in Greenville. Comfortable and relaxed setting. Bourbon and whiskey selection is phenomenal. And the food is great, too. The staff is very helpful and friendly. I would recommend this place for a small gathering or just to pop in for a drink.

Excellent bar staff, very helpful and friendly. Well decorated and cozy atmosphere, with plenty of seating. The bar is long and we’ll stocked with plenty of bar stools. If your not hyper focused looking for the bar you will walk right passed it, the outside sign is very small and the door does not face the street, but rather looks to the left. See the photos might help. If you stand in front of blaze pizza and look right you will see the door ….enjoy

One of my faves! This warm place offers great vibes, cool music, tasty bar food, and counts with skilled bartenders and cocktail mixers. Their Mac and Cheese is delicious, so is their Popcorn. You will find here a wide selection of bourbons.

We decided to try out O-Ku in Greenville although there is one back home in Charleston since we’re heard good things about it. The indoor area was very nice and had nice lighting and ambiance. We chose to sit outside since it was pretty nice and finally cooled down. I love me some sake so that was my first stop on the menu and hubby got the “Just got back” margarita. He didn’t love it bc of the spicy flavor but that was solely preference. I enjoyed his drink and my nigori sake. We skipped the appetizers and settled on 3 sushi rolls. The server was very helpful in guiding us towards the GF ones since hubby has celiac. We got one with shrimp, one with tuna and another fish. Everything tasted very fresh and it was quite filling. I will say we kinda knew coming in that it would be pricier so we ended up spending over $100. You can definitely tell they use quality ingredients but sushi nights like this are definitely a “treat” when you’re spending that much for just a few rolls and drinks. We enjoyed ourselves and our server took good care of us and accommodated our allergy.

My husband and I spent our wedding anniversary at O-Ku. The food was amazing! We had the truffle butter edamame and the sugar and spice cocktails to start. We were wished a happy anniversary by the hostess, the manager, and our server (David) multiple times during our meal. The manager brought us out a starter on the house to celebrate us and even ensured it was shellfish free to accommodate my shellfish allergy. They take great care and precautions regarding food allergies and I have never experienced any issues eating here. Our sushi course was delicious with the Red Passion roll as our absolute favorite. The Falls and Tuna Crunch were also phenomenal. At the end of the night, our server brought us some champagne on the house to toast our anniversary along with a card signed by all of the employees on shift. We were so pleased with our dining experience, the attention to detail, and how special they made our night feel. Would most definitely recommend you try O-Ku and maybe even spend a celebratory evening with them as well. They exceeded our expectations for the evening. We hope to be back soon!

My husband and I chose O-Ku for our anniversary/birthday dinner celebration. Our meal included cocktails, sashimi and some of the best sushi rolls I’ve had in a while. Not only was the food amazing - do NOT skip the truffle butter edamame - we were beyond impressed by the extra mile taken by the staff. They were attentive, personal, and yet casually fun to keep the atmosphere relaxed. We were given handwritten cards and a surprise treat of mocchi for us for try. While this was our first time dining here, it will certainly not be our last.

O-Ku is a go to. Love the location and distinct menu from locations in Atlanta and Nashville. Ordered and enjoyed a few specials. Asked for an edited to popular crispy rice with tuna instead of salmon and no hesitation one of the best I’ve had. Traveling for work so the bar was my location as one. The staff was polite and attentive.

The decor, style, and plating are all spot-on and congruent. The service is attentive and the food here comes at a steady pace. The biggest gripe is that their dishes are extravagantly priced considering what they offer you. None of the Hakozushi is worth it. Too expensive and fairly uninteresting at the price point. The edamame is flavorful but besides that, the appetizers also aren't anywhere worth it. For the price of the salmon usuzukuri, you could just get a full roll. It's ridiculous. You can get food comp'd for your birthday, mainly depends on how nice you and your server are. So if want to try this place, do it for a special occasion.

This was the most memorable birthday dinner ever 💓 I came to the restaurant with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and I was presented with a personalized birthday card, signed by all the staff, and a meaningful gift - book, from the restaurant ! Talk about class and service! The pictures are attached. Needless to say, the food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere just perfect for the occasion 👌. I loved every moment of that evening! And every dollar was well worth the experience! Thank you to our server, John, and to the amazing chef and to all who made this happen. We will be back for more special occasions. This is now our go to place in Greenville.

My husband and I celebrated our birthdays at O-Ku and let me just say… REQUEST NOAH AS YOUR SERVER! He made our dining experience so wonderful - can’t praise him enough! He was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and walked us through everything front to back without skipping a beat. Although he had plenty of other tables, he still took his time to create a very personable experience for us. Aside from him being one of the best servers I’ve encountered, the food was spectacular! All around, it was a perfect experience and we will be back for sure!

The Crab Rangoon (dip style) was a fun and flavorful twist on a classic—definitely a highlight. The Orange Blossom cocktail paired perfectly with the sesame balls, a combo we didn’t know we needed! Another standout was the Pom de Replay with Pork Belly Rice Ball—absolutely delicious and something I’ll be ordering again without question. The vibe of the restaurant was spot on. The decor added a stylish, welcoming touch, and the music tied it all together, creating a really enjoyable atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back to explore more of the menu!

We had a great experience overall at Sum Bar in Greenville. The food was absolutely delicious and the prices were surprisingly reasonable for the quality and creativity of the dishes. The atmosphere was relaxed and stylish — perfect for a night out. The only downside was the service, which was slower than expected. Our server was very friendly and apologetic, but it seemed like she had too many tables to handle. We ran out of water and drinks a few times and had a bit of a wait to settle our bill. Despite that, she did her best to stay upbeat and attentive when she could. I’d definitely go back for the food and ambiance — just hoping for a better staffed night next time!

Thoroughly disappointed. My husband and I have been wanting Sum Bar to succeed since it opened - we were there for dinner opening night. But we’ve become increasingly disillusioned each time we’ve come, and after a very disappointing Valentine’s Day dinner, we’ve decided we won’t be going back. It feels like the mark was missed on almost everything - service, food, and price. Our bartender was aloof to the point of rudeness and completely unfamiliar with the menu. Granted, this always a Valentine’s Day special menu, so it may have been the fault of management for not properly training the staff, but a question as simple as “Does the mapo tofu come with rice?” required a congressional investigation to answer. (Turn out, it was like 90% rice!) Our neighbor asked which specials the bartender recommended, and the answer was an unfriendly “I don’t know, I haven’t tried any of it.” The biggest disappointment, though, was the food. The scallop special was tasty and the dumplings were decent, as usual, but the yakitori came out cold and the mapo tofu was a travesty. We ordered two and almost laughed when it arrived. First of all, it should not have been called mapo tofu, because there was nothing mapo about it. Instead, we received two plates of dog-foodish mushroom chili over rice with 1.5 pieces of tofu each. Tasted nothing like mapo, no ma-la flavor at all. Secondly, the plating/portion control was atrocious. My husband’s plate had twice as much rice as mine and half as much “topping.” We were really looking forward to having mapo tofu, so this was especially depressing. For dessert, we ordered the chocolate dumplings, which came out as three tiny dumplings (who serves three of something for a Valentine’s Day special?!) that tasted like… ingredients? Like they had wrapped a dumpling skin around some semi-sweet chocolate chips and steamed it. For these three tiny dumplings, we paid $12. We don’t mind spending money on good food, but the portions and prices at Sum Bar are simply not justified by the food quality. I am Taiwanese and my husband and I have both lived in Taiwan and Japan. We wish so badly that Sum Bar would stop trying and failing to “elevate” Chinese food and just serve some solid dim sum and Chinese food that you can’t get in Greenville. We are just baffled by the decisions. We would happily have paid more than we did to enjoy a hearty bowl of mapo tofu while drinking a beer in the cool, chic environment they’ve created. We would be happy to pay higher than usual prices to eat dim sum while sipping cocktails and feeling hip. Instead, we’re offered haute cuisine portions of mediocre inventions from a dim sum menu that barely features dim sum. We are so disappointed because Sum Bar could be great, but it just isn’t.

We just stopped in for a drink and to check out the menu. I've heard it's a great place for sharable items. After looking over the menu, they have many choices to choose from, along with specials not listed. We'll definitely be back to try the food! I do have to add, the mixed drink pictured is the "Perfect Pear" and was delicious!

Excellent experience all the way around! Great bar tenders, delicious food, and swanky relaxed environment. My new favorite restaurant in downtown. Everything we tried was beautifully presented with unique flavors and textures. It was a truly an outstanding experience, a real standout in Gvl. Highly recommend!

I went here way back near opening and have been raving about it to folks ever since. But then I went again recently and everything was… meh. Not so quick to recommend now. The Green Beans are 🔥 so get those. The Crab Rangoon is a dip which the menu doesn’t say and I don’t prefer. The Fried Mushroom dish is soggy. Idk why restaurants try to do this with the wrong type of mushroom… The restaurant is involved in various events and festivals which are cool. They had non-traditional Moon Cakes at one which was a fun treat but they also had Custard Buns that were comically awful. Like if I made them at home they’d of been trashed awful ha.

Great food, drinks and service! Loved each dish we tried (over half the menu) and would absolutely come back. The short rib special was the group favorite! Everything came out super quick and it was easy to add more on when we were ready.

Bar Margaret is a charming, artsy spot tucked away in the West End of Greenville—perfect for a cozy night out or catching up with friends. While they’re best known for their creative cocktails, I opted for the “An Even Gooder Burger” and truffled fries. The burger was a bit too salty for my taste, but the fries hit the spot. I love the vibe and location enough to give it another try soon!

First time at Bar Margaret. The aesthetic of the place is super cute and artsy. Love the vibe. The staff was very friendly. The drinks are strong, very liquor forward, and very odd, but in a good way. For example, their old fashion is made with tequila. They also have absinthe here, which is unique. There were some drinks I had I didn’t love, and some that were very good. My favorite were the amaretto sour and the lemon drop martini. The food was delicious. Their burgers are very good and so was their Korean chicken bites appetizer and their truffle fries. I will say their “lil piggies” aka pigs in a blanket was very small and not filling so this would be good if you’re not hungry but just want something to nibble on. Overall I would say this place is worth the trip and you’ll know if the vibe is for you or not. It’s definitely artsy / niche and is a unique concept. I liked it and will be back! One of many hidden gems of The Village in West Greenville. One of the best burgers in town and fries to boot! Onion rings are spectacular! Drinks are perfection. A local hangout spot with lots of character and a fun vibe. I’m a regular and neither the food nor staff have ever missed.

I was really excited to try this place because of all the wonderful reviews, but my experience didn’t measure up. The truffle fries were very tasty and the server did give me a heads up on what size to order. I also got the hippie burger and the first two bites were good, but I guess all the toppings were stacked there bc the rest of it was very plain. I was really excited for that burger too bc I looove falafel. The dining room was really cool with lots of art and I really enjoyed that. The service was okay; I asked for no onions, but got them anyway and a drink was almost forgotten about before we reminded the server. I wish I had a different experience bc it does seem like lots of people really like this place.

Staggeringly good burger for $6. It's light on meat, which is great for me. Every part of the burger is intentional, fresh, and balanced. If you want a big meaty burger, this probably isn't for you, but I only had a single - they do have double patties. Cocktails are awesome as well. And the vibe is 100/100 🌈

I popped in on a whim, and I’m so glad I did—this place spoke to me. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the whole vibe was laid-back, artsy, and inclusive. I felt right at home from the moment I walked in. Our server, Alex, was fantastic. They took the time to chat with us about the drinks and even warned me about one that probably wouldn’t suit my taste—seriously appreciated the honesty and attention to detail. Alex made our experience even better with their kindness and knowledge. I ordered a plain White Russian, but the bartender added their own twist, and honestly? It was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The food was just as impressive—fresh, flavorful, and worth every penny. The artwork on the walls really caught my eye—some pieces gave off strong Tool vibes, and I could totally imagine sitting there with a drink, listening to Tool, and soaking it all in. I also love that they showcase local artists; it adds a genuine, creative touch. This spot is proudly LGBTQ+ friendly, and the energy reflects that—accepting, expressive, and real. I’ll definitely be back. Do yourself a favor and check them out!

This place is amazing. I have never been to a restaurant that makes meals that are equally amazing for meat and non meat eaters. A good place if you want to meet with friends for dinner and drinks or if you just want a little down time to yourself. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the paintings and drawings are beautifully positioned. Food pricing is perfect. This is my new relax and dine location! The loaded fries looked so good I forgot to take the picture before we ate them. As you can see they were as good as they looked.

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but if you're into country music and line dancing you should totally check out this place. The house band is good and they play a nice mix of old country, 2000s country, and new country. The speakers for the band were definitely too loud for the amount of people there (1 hour later and my ears are still ringing). But the people were nice and willing to help you learn to line dance. There is a lot of parking on the other side of the street, you just have to cross a ditch to get to the building. When you enter you get wanded, your bag is checked, your id is checked, and you pay the cover. The price for the cover varies and is visible on their website. The beer is expensive for the quality, but the mixed drinks are cheap. That being said the drink was...okay. Really just a generic drink you could get anywhere (or like a high schooler would make) and the beer selection consists of beer like Coors (so what you expect). There might be more options but we didn't see a menu to show what was available. There are plenty of bathrooms but they don't have locks so it kinda feels like you are in a horse stall. So just be prepared with a friend or to hold your hand/foot out to keep the door closed.

Better than I expected. Cash-only. If you have a vision in mind for what it might be like, it's probably accurate. Definitely a good place for line dancing with a live band. I feel like I would have a bad experience for a concert though with the size of the space and how many people they probably try to pack in here. Parking situation was tight on their lot but there was a massive fenced in overflow lot with what looked to be just a single gate open. If that is the same for concerts, I can't imagine what that lot is like trying to get out. The speakers were too loud (think going to a bad wedding party). For the focus on dancing, I thought it odd that everyone had water bottles they presumably paid for; unclear if they even offer tap water. The cash-only concept should not exist in 2023. A $6 cover per person when we went.

The atmosphere was friendly and lively. The music was great. And the drinks are reasonable. I had a great time and will definitely be going again soon

Bars are great, we walked in at 730 to see the band tonight thinking we'd have great music. 9:40 we are leaving. 2 hours we waited for the country band to kick off and still nothing and they opened and charged us $20 a piece just to walk in because of him. Next time advertise the time and have Mr Mathew play when your open or with in a hour or starting to charge.

Great place if you like being ran over by drunks! They have no dress code and allow phones during concerts, so all you see is phones in the air not the actual singer. Won't go back.

Great First Experience at Coupe's Corners - July 7, 2025. We traveled from Georgia and had a fantastic experience. We were warmly welcomed by the manager/owner who seated us immediately, even without a reservation. While we didn't eat, the food looked delicious. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, making our visit truly enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and look forward to visiting again soon. We love Greenville , SC. :)

This was a great first experience, other than it was a little hot in there. But it still was live, the food was delivered hot, the drinks was on point and my service wad excellent. I definitely will be back, no doubt. Plus I will be bringing friends 🧡.

All I can say is wow! We will be back. We ordered the Jerk Chicken & Cabbage and Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadilla. I would order those two items over and over again if I didn’t need to try everything else on the menu! Clean restaurant, friendly staff, good happy hour deals, and good location in the west end of Greenville. Would recommend, especially if you’re looking for a happy hour spot.

I went on a Thursday night. I ordered the Oxtail Grill Cheese. It was definitely a 10/10. The atmosphere was very grown and laid back. The service was A1. The owner actually came over and introduced himself. I felt very welcoming and like I was talking to a close a family member. I'll definitely be back soon.

I completely want to love this place. Crazy disappointing.. had reservations but no one to greet us. 10 min later did get a basic table, no service for another 15 min. Finally after asking got a server, (not her fault) yes owner took care of the drinks. But had been looking forward to a night out, drinks were a huge disappointment, watered down, incorrect order( tonic vs soda water) drink glass completely shattered. however will give them another chance, wish them all the best.

Excellent date night with my love tasting new flavors, and experiencing live Jazz Music. Love the ambience and lounge vibe. The Gold/Black color combination is very pleasing. We ordered the Pork Belly Sliders (delicious and addictive!), the Prime Rib Dip (very good mix of flavors), and the Coupe’s Experience… so.. the Coupe’s Experience is a Chef Choice meal, he gets to decide what to make for you. Just tell the server about allergies and stuff you absolutely dislike.. the chef takes care of the rest. Everything was so delicious. Service, Atmosphere, live music, perfect date night. Will definitely come back!

Coup's Corner is a nice addition to Greenville. The vibe is grown and sexy. The service is great. The cocktails are mixed really well. And the food! Absolutely worth the reasonable prices they charge. We will be back again and again. I highly recommend venturing down to check them out. Ladies' night is Friday!

Don't go to that hell hole, im gonna tell everyone in my social media don’t go there, last night I was brutally attacked in one of the bathrooms for no reason and the security only took out the girl, nobody did anything for me even the “police” outside and one of the security guards even pushed my brother just for asking for a response to the attack I suffered. This place is expensive they don’t offer you all anything good is nasty and they don’t treat people good idk why people keep going there.

Extremely Unprofessional Security Staff Visited on Saturday around 3 AM with two friends. While simply asking the entry price (which we were told was $20 per girl), the security guard suddenly screamed in my ear to back up, in an aggressive and unnecessary way. Meanwhile, we saw him letting other girls in for free right in front of us. We were well-dressed, respectful, and not causing any issues—just trying to understand the entry policy. As someone who’s used to Miami nightlife, I know how the industry works: clubs benefit from having attractive, well-dressed women inside—it’s part of the business. However, that’s no excuse for treating anyone, paying guest or not, with such hostility. Screaming like that was completely out of line and reflects poorly on the venue’s professionalism.

First the waiters wanted to charge more than what the drinks cost they wanted to cheat by charging us $50 per order just for being in VIP they brought us an open bottle to the table, I know they threw it but it was wrong, women don’t go alone

I’ve been going to acuarius since I was 20, I just turned 22 this week and decided to go celebrate on Saturday. Worst experience I’ve ever had so far, for one this is a Latin club, I have no problem when other types of music are being played but when only 6 Latin songs come on all night it’s annoying. This isn’t on the club but it was insanely packed with no space to move or walk, mostly because people just wanna come in to just stand around. Beware some people can get aggressive as a fight did break out on the dance floor.

I just want everyone to know this is a Hispanic Club! They will choose, “Some” English songs but it won’t be as often as some other clubs! I actually really enjoyed this club when I was 18 years old it was amazing. Trust me the club is still great till this day.. it’s just weird to be dancing with underage kids. Just saying. The drinks are great though :). The Jell-O shots hit! They are soo good.

$20 per person cover charge is too much! Was not told that they did not serve alcohol at time of entering. They were only serving Jell-O shots. When ordering the Jell-O shots they did not accept card was told there was an atm onsite. At that time the atm was out of service. I had given the bartender $9.00 with the intention to bring back. Ore from the atm machine. When returning the bar tender kept my cash and stated she had given me 1 Jell-O shot, which she did not. After the manager came over she gave me 1 Jell-O shot. Very rude, confirmation and blatantly tried “stealing” my money. Very high price to get in. Stayed for 15minutes. Very disappointing experience.

My husband & I purchased custom boxes of chocolates from LaRue to give as favors for our wedding. We are both total foodies & it was important to us to find favors that were both beautiful and delicious to gift our guests. We could not have been more happy with our choice to gift chocolates from this place and are now huge fans. We visited the shop to taste test an array of options before choosing the varieties we wanted to be part of our custom boxes and it was such a nice experience! The ladies who work there are so knowledgeable and friendly. The ambiance of the shop is incredible - it would be a great place to attend a tasting event or to host a fun shower, birthday party or something similar. The expertise in pairing with wine is such a unique offering and it makes this place a truely unique gem. How awesome that we have a place like this right here in Greenville, SC!

I so wanted to give this amazing place 5 stars, but just couldn’t… will share details. I will come back so hopefully next visit will be perfect. The location is a little off the beaten path but isn’t far from some great restaurants on Pendleton. The ambience was immediately welcoming and the chocolate case and wine selections wowed me as we walked in. The chocolates looked like plates of little jewels or pieces of artwork. They were so appealing it was difficult to not just keep ordering to try them all. I did the chocolate with wine flight, and was impressed with how well they paired with each (one each sparkling, rose, and red). The chocolates included fillings from Guava to Marcona almond (chopped) and one was lavender flavored. My husband ordered a slice of key lime pie that looked beautiful, but was still partially frozen. Perhaps that is why it was dry and the key lime flavor didn’t really shine. During our entire visit the service was friendly, helpful, and always engaged with customers. Besides the miss on the pie, I felt that the size of each chocolate was very small, though the price was also less than you might find at other chocolatiers. We did take home 6 chocolates in a lovely package for $14. Very reasonable I think and overall a real gem here in Greenville!

Chocolate and cocktails. What’s not to like. We visit every time we are in Greenville and the chocolate, drinks and atmosphere are always great. A good place to just read a book and chill for a few hours.

LaRue is a hidden gem for those seeking an exquisite experience. The exotic chocolate selections and the low-key ambiance create the perfect setting for relaxation and unwinding after a long day. My favorite chocolate is definitely the Mango Curry. The service is excellent, the ladies serving were nice and had an inviting and chilling vibe. The wine selection is decent, making it an ideal spot for a laid-back evening. This spot truly excels in providing a satisfying and inspiring atmosphere for all patrons.

This place is heavenly. I now have so many favorites...... Kentucky bourbon sea salt caramel in dark chocolate is the absolute best. They have a well stocked bar, coffee, and ice cream. Dark chocolate, milk chocolate, white chocolate,and sometimes a white inside dark chocolate!! Prepare to be amazed!

Gorgeous new lounge! Love the vibe and convenient location! However, they desperately need to stock their bar with a better assortment of gin and scotch. They didn’t even have Tangarey. Once they get their bar properly stocked I think it’ll be Greenville’s new favorite hangout!

My husband and I have visited Cocktail Company several times since it opened. The staff is always very welcoming and attentive. We enjoy sitting on the balcony and relaxing with one of their delicious cocktails! My personal favorite cocktail is the Tipsy Flamingo! They have the best view!!

The Cocktail Company should be one of the best spots in Greenville, but after giving it several tries over the last couple of months, last night will be our last visit. I’ll start with the positives- the location is fantastic, not many bars have the windows and views this place has, being so centrally located and close to the river. The decor and details inside are absolutely GORGEOUS and the bathroom was super clean. The service, however leaves much to be desired. We ordered a bottle of wine, served in a porron. The bartender, Josh wasn’t sure what that entailed, so he went and asked the manager for help (which was TOTALLY fine and appropriate). She (unfortunately I didn’t catch her name) came and poured our wine into the porron and our glasses. Josh showed NO interest in learning this process, to help the next customers who ordered the same, besides making inappropriate jokes about the porron. He was very unprofessional and scattered- literally all over the place- and even looked at us at one point and laughed, saying “I haven’t even poured your wine, you’re pouring it yourselves!” Once we had our bottle, we were never acknowledged again by any of the employees behind the bar until it was time to cash out, which was extremely rushed. We actually thought it was last call, as our check was brought to us as soon as they poured our first glass of wine and we still had the rest of the bottle to drink. Assuming they were trying to close the place, we felt hurried to drink our bottle but other customers started coming in and were still being served, so who knows what that was about. I guess we were an inconvenience. This was our third time here, as we REALLY wanted to love this place since we live just a few blocks away, and are out downtown several nights every week, but that isn’t happening. We won’t be back.

Bartenders will steal your money charging larger tips hoping you are too drunk to remember. Closed out after one drink $18 after tip and come home to find a $30 charge. Thieves

Loved everything about this place- amazing entertainment, attentive staff, delicious drinks! It’s hard to find on Google maps and Apple Maps land you somewhere else. Just know- it is on Main street level. Literally next to the Bank of America ATM under the huge sign that says TOWER. Don’t be all rude to the owner like I was about not being able to find it (sorry man)- you will be happy you found this hidden gem.

Absolutely loved the atmosphere, the music, and the drinks. Pretty chic atmosphere. Would love to see them add candles and maybe fresh flowers to elevate the atmosphere.
