Graham St. Pub & Patio is a laid-back sports pub located in Uptown Charlotte, offering a relaxed atmosphere with global street food and a variety of craft beers. The highlight of this spot is its rooftop terrace, providing stunning views of both the stadium and the city skyline. Whether you're catching a game at the nearby stadiums or simply looking for some entertainment, this pub has something for everyone. From music bingo to live acoustic performances on the rooftop, there's always something happening here.
My wife and I topped by on a Sunday evening to find we were the only ones on first floor. We were a little worried, but the staff was friendly and we like the atmosphere. We made good choice, because within 20 minutes another 10 to 15 people arrived. Food was very good.

First time visit here. Great atmosphere + location if you're going to a Baseball game as they're literally right across the street from the ballpark. We got there right before the later afternoon rush + we were going to a game. Believe there were 3 levels, but we sat at the bar on the ground floor. Service & food was great. I had the Baja Fish Wrap & my wife the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Both were very flavorful. 5 stars from us as we really couldn't find any negatives with our experience. Definitely recommend - especially if you're going to a Baseball or Football game. BofA Stadium is just a couple of blocks away as well.

Went on a Tuesday night, it wasn’t full so we had plenty of seating to chose from, we sat on the rooftop. Service was great server was very friendly and knowledgeable she suggested drinks. The view of the Charlotte skyline is beautiful here. The food was great and came out quick. Good music and friendly people.

Went twice in a day . Daytime was spacious, vibing, they have 3bars two floors, outdoor firepit. Nice staff and blood security day and evening. Night time have a larger crowd. We were asked to take photos also or came with a glass frame. It was a nice setting and laid back. FYI the rooftop was more crowded than any other part of the place.

Amazing experience!! If you looking to do something different and enjoy it yourself or with friends this is a good option to do!! Also explore areas around Charlotte downtown! I did it with a group of friends and husband and we are looking forward to do it again in fall!! Affordable price as individual rites, and the guy who’s in charge of the ride bar is nice!! Is a good way to make a new friends and a nice experience! Don’t forget to bring your 🍻 beer!! 💯💯recommend!

We visited this bar when we were going to watch the Chelsea game for the FIFA world cup vs. Flumenese. The place was packed to capacity! It was great to see all of the Chelsea fans before the game. We had a quick bite to eat while we were there. It hit the spot for sure! The waiting service was exceptional. Up the chels! Definitely go if you're a fan!

Brought a group of 15 co-workers for a Charlotte FC pregame. They just put turf in the outdoor area which took that space to the next level. Our waitress was awesome, drinks came quick, food was good, and the manager came out several times to make sure our group was having fun. 5 star experience, definitely coming back.

Bar
The Thirsty Beaver Saloon is a dive bar with a honky tonk vibe, known for its defiance against urban development. It's nestled between towering apartment buildings that were constructed around it after the owners refused to sell. The exterior features a giant beaver character on an orange wall, setting the tone for the quirky interior adorned with Burt Reynolds pictures, gag posters, and hanging bras.
Hello, neighbor. Sometimes, when you’re walking through your neighborhood, you stumble upon a place that doesn’t look fancy… but oh, how it makes you feel. The Thirsty Beaver is one of those places. It’s a small bar with a big heart. The music is loud, the walls are full of stories, and the floor might be sticky—but that’s just the bar giving you a little hug from your shoes. Now, I don’t drink too often, but when I do, I like something friendly. I asked for a whiskey sour, and the bartender made it with such kindness and care, I almost cried into my coaster. The balance of sweet and sour reminded me of life itself. And oh my, the people here! Denim jackets, tattoos, laughter, and even a man who looked like he’d wrestled a jukebox once and lost. But everyone was kind. A young man offered me his barstool, and another told me I looked like someone who “gives good life advice.” That made me feel very special. The world can be loud and wild, neighbor—but in a place like this, surrounded by good folks and a great mixed drink, it’s nice to remember that we can all belong somewhere. I like you just the way you are, Thirsty Beaver.
Joseph T — Google review
The Thirsty Beaver is... officially one of my favorite bars that I've ever been to! The inside of the bar was so cool, it was like a 1940s combination of a diner and bar. They had so much cool memorabilia, from the pool tables, neon signs, chairs & tables, posters, jukebox, hand games, etc. The bartender and other patrons were so cool, welcoming, and easy to talk to as well. I had such a fun time talking to them for a few hours. Overall, as previously stated, Thirsty Beaver is one of my favorite bars that I've ever been to, and it almost makes me wish I lived in Charlotte so I could go more often. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Hadleigh P — Google review
I don’t live in Charlotte, but when I stumbled upon a post about the Thirsty Beaver on Facebook, I was instantly intrigued. The history of this bar is so compelling that I thought, “I need to visit this place ASAP!” As soon as I had the chance to come to Charlotte, I made a beeline for the Thirsty Beaver, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! If you haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for? You need to visit it, period.
Rofa G — Google review
A dive bar of dive bars, the Thirsty Beaver is the place to go for cheap beer and cheap drinks in Plaza Midwood. It's quite the hangout complete with jukebox full of classic old tunes. Full of character and charm where you can hangout and no one cares. Yes, this is the spot where Mick Jagger popped in when the Rolling Stones tour passed through Charlotte and he was either not recognized or people truly didn't care.
Bruce K — Google review
The most classic of classic dive bars. You get what you expect. Had a blast as per usual!
Zandi W — Google review
Stepping into Thirsty Beaver Saloon feels like entering a time capsule of Charlotte's past, with its rustic decor and vintage vibes. The history oozes from every corner, creating an ambiance that's both nostalgic and welcoming. Saddle up to the bar and order a cold one while you soak in the charm of this beloved establishment. Whether you're a local or just passing through, a visit to Thirsty Beaver Saloon is an experience you won't soon forget.
Luis G — Google review
Just be a little weary. Left my credit card there the night before and instead of holding for me to come grab and leave a nice tip, someone tried to charge it 20 times with (grubhub, instacart, DoorDash). Def an employee that works there but luckily it was reported as stolen beforehand. Just know that if you leave your card on accident, you’ll be buying one of them groceries and a free meal.

Highly recommend grabbing a bite here before a concert! It’s an easy walk across the parking lot to the amphitheater. We got a spiked slushie, loaded tater tots, and the mac n cheese. Our food came out faster than expected for such a packed small place, the overall service was excellent! 🤩*Note that there is a different menu on concert nights*

The best pregame spot in the city for any Skyla, Fillmore, or The Underground show! Great local craft beer, yummy food, quality customer service, knowledgable staff, and a cool atmosphere! They offer a covered patio, a private event space AND validate parking as well!
Lindsay H — Google review
Have always enjoyed this place but I was recently diagnosed with an onion allergy and the staff was so patient and helpful in checking to make sure my chicken wasn’t cooked with any and my salad dressing didn’t have any in it. I even heard the give the back of house a heads up that there was an onion allergy. Thank you so much for not making me feel like an inconvenience or a bother and for taking it seriously.
Tabitha L — Google review
Visited several times before concerts, and review is for August 16th, 2023. Nice little place to grab a quick bite and draft beer before a concert at the Amphitheatre or Music Hall that are both located next door. Food is ordered at the counter, and swiftly delivered to your table. Food service was fast, but the chicken club sandwich was a little dry. Plenty of craft beer on tap, but they would not serve samples "because it's a night with a show at the Amphitheatre". As a craft beer enthusiast, I'd prefer to sample a few before spending $10 for a pint. There is plenty of seating inside, and they have a large outdoor patio, most of which is covered. The patio is surrounded by volleyball courts, so that adds a little bit of visual entertainment. All of the staff was very friendly, but the food and lack of beer samples set them back a star.
James S — Google review
Awesome vibes and cool setting. Owner is super down to earth. Food is great. Location is convenient. Overall fantastic!
Steven S — Google review
Really cool joint just off the beaten path right next to the amphitheater on the south side of uptown. Plenty of places to sit and chill including a huge outdoor patio. There are 5 sand volleyball courts, cornhole, and oversized Jenga. The indoor bar has plenty of seats, also. Lots of craft beers from which to choose, as well as a full array of liquor & spirits. The full menu has lots to choose from and during events they have a limited menu that still has plenty of variety. The service is extremely friendly and patient. All in all, very well deserving of the full 5-Star Rating!
Jake M — Google review
The boneless buffalo bites were amazing! I enjoyed the burger with Mac as well. They had a good beer selection and great outdoor seating. Fun to come here before a concert.
Brad B — Google review
Food was decent enough and super fast. We were there on a busy night with a concert next store and volleyball going on. We waited 10 mins tops for our food to be brought out! Good drink options and plenty of indoor and outdoor covered seating.

Merchant & Trade is a chic rooftop bar located atop the Kimpton Tryon Park in Uptown Charlotte. It offers craft cocktails, local beers, and elevated bar bites in a swanky setting that can cater to various needs, whether it's post-work drinks or a romantic date spot. The bar features unique house cocktails like the Velvet Slipper and Blushing Belle, alongside classic options.
Very good rooftop bar in Charlotte with very good views. Drinks are nice and food is also delicious. Only downside is service can be a bit slow, but staff were apologetic and when our drinks and food arrived, it was very good! We returned every evening for drinks and to enjoy the view Be warned, on a Saturday evening it basically becomes a club. If chilled out is your vibe i do not recommend Saturday evenings
Thomas H — Google review
Went in on a Saturday night for friends birthday celebration. All staff members including security were very polite and accommodating. I was able to make my way in to the establishment with my knee mobility scooter no problem at all. The vibes were great, with a DJ performing catchy unique beats. There is no dress code here which is nice especially when you are just venturing around the charlotte area looking for something to do. There are both open seating and reserved areas all with wonderful views of the city. After looking around for a few minutes for somewhere to sit, a staff member spotted us, kindly explained how the seating areas worked and guided us towards some open seating areas. Although a bit crowded, I had no issues making my way throughout the area with my mobility scooter. Our party of 3 was able to find a lovely open seating area at a cozy tabletop fire pit. The cocktails we ordered were beautifully crafted with fresh ingredients & candied cherries for a garnish. Perfect location if you are looking for an upscale yet casual friendly date night or somewhere to decompress with family and friends. Added to my list of places to drop in again whenever Im back in the area.
Jennifer A — Google review
Stopped by here on a whim when we were walking by the hotel on a Tuesday evening. There was an event going on at the time so the outside seating was more limited but still enough seating. As it was hot out we preferred to sit in and enjoyed a cocktail. The drink was good but it is pricier here, like $18-$20. It’s nice but to sit outside and actually appreciate the view I would have to wait for a cooler day and/or when the patio area is not reserved to see what it’s like there.
Michele K — Google review
Had a great time at this rooftop spot! It was such a nice experience enjoying drinks with friends while taking in the views. The music added to the chill vibe without being too loud.

Unfortunately I can’t grade the food because we didn’t eat here however the DRINKS!!!OMG I ASKED THE waitress to get creative and OMG, she hit that perfectly. The prices was AMAZING. Our waitress was super cool too. I love a waitress to comes with a smile and gives the feeling like she loves what she does. The decor was really fly. Perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Love this place. Will return and such a beautiful establishment
Lyndon B — Google review
I would go there for the fantastic view and atmosphere, not the cocktails. Got way better, bigger and cheaper ones elsewhere. Super overpriced and basic in my opinion. Only three (!!!) non alcoholic cocktails also. That was disappointing. Otherwise very fancy people, great dj and attentive staff. Their desk policy is also very smart. Went Friday around 8pm, after 9/10pm very packed.
Marisa — Google review
Had a great experience at this rooftop bar in uptown Charlotte. When you walk in, you feel like you've entered an exclusive club. The music was on point and our server Crystal was an absolute gem, giving great drink pairing suggestions. The atmosphere outside was really nice, with a good view of the surrounding area next to some cozy firepits. Definitely recommend!
Kent H — Google review
I visited a friend I haven't seen in a long time. We came for drinks. There was a line to get in. The place was super crowded. It's a beautiful restaurant with spectacular views. However, the line at the bar to get drinks was insane. Some tables are reserved or you can find an open seat. Both have pros and cons. The drink was heavily iced, which took away from the flavor-- especially for the cost. I did not get anything to eat, so I can't really judge that. There was a fireworks show across the way (partially blocked by a building, but that's not their fault). If I do visit again, it'll have to be on a slower day bc the sheer volume of ppl was too much for me.

Ed's Tavern in Dilworth is a laid-back and lively gathering place with a substantial selection of bar bites and over 25 beers on tap or bottled. It's the perfect spot for those seeking a row of screens, buckets of beer bottles, and even a mimosa tower to entertain friends for hours. This classic neighborhood hangout features plenty of TVs, a spacious patio, and is pet-friendly.
Love this place. Tons of tvs. Great drink specials, check website for daily deals. Their soda is really good! And beer prices are low for Charlotte standards. Great prices! We also order chicken tender meal. Ranch, honey muster all good! Parking is little difficult, we came late at night. I’m not sure where you can park at. We found spot out front.

This a great place to get solid American bar food. Wings were incredible. The Sweet chili Thai flavor was on point. Chicken sandwich was ok. Sweet patato fries and onion rings were both some of the best I've had in Charlotte. I was very happy with the food. This would be a great place to come enjoy good food and watch the game.

The bacon cheeseburger was very damn good at medium well!! I had wanted to go healthy on the side dish and chose spinach as my side dish. It was seasoned well. Be aware is a sports bar so you going to hear people yell. But it's on good fun.

My coworkers and I love coming here for lunch—it’s super convenient with plenty of parking in the back, large patio with fans, and the service is always quick. The salad portions are huge, definitely enough to share or take some back to the office. Another bonus is that it’s close to a great local bar in Southend/Dilworth Overall, it’s become a local fav

We’ve been coming to Ed’s since moving to Charlotte in 2012 - almost daily when we lived around the corner - took a hiatus after we moved to the ‘burbs but have recently been going periodically. This is meant as a compliment but nothing has changed - Service, food, atmosphere still great. Other than that brief Bourbon and Burgers name change that was attempted awhile back, they never disappoint.

This Sunday we came late night after the Lovin’ Life Music festival and the place was clean and service was excellent! Food was great as always, especially recommend the pimento cheeseburger and bang bang shrimp!! Ed’s is always a favorite for me and my friends and my pup loves the patio!

Restaurant
Dot Dot Dot is an upscale speakeasy-style bar and restaurant in Charlotte, offering a classic ambiance and serving craft liquors, cocktails, and curated bites. While it's a members-only venue, the reasonably priced membership makes it worth considering for those who appreciate delicious American cuisine and premium handcrafted cocktails. The establishment is known for its imaginative menu of food and as one of the premier cocktail lounges in the city.
We went on Saturday night. We made reservations for 5-7 We sat at the bar. Marissa our bartender was friendly and helpful as this was our first time here. We avoid overly sweet cocktails. I got a Spur of the Moment. It was very good. I noticed others getting it. We got and shared the deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts. Just enough food for us. Stefan was there and made sure we were taken care of. Reservations are 2 hours. We were done 20 minutes early. We wanted to respect the next reservation. Would definitely return.
Mike N — Google review
This place is great Food appetizer were legit on another level The cocktail selection was big and fancy. Really good all of them. A bit pricey but definitely a recommended date night. My only complaint is the membership, which only gets you access to the bar. Which is a great bar... But there's several other great bars without a membership that requires you put your credit card number, works as a yearly subscription that if you cancel, you lose the rest of the year.... Kinda predatory. So since we're being predatory, I'm gonna complain about a lot of petty stuff as well. -Some of the staff was dressed very casual. Not uniformly. Not what I expect from a club I'm paying a membership. - bathrooms toilet was not flushed when I'm coming in. Pretty not membership worthy. - water is tap water. And the one that taste bad. You can buy 24 water bottle pack with half of one membership. What am I paying for? Anyways. Besides those predatory practice, it is a great place with great food and great drinks. Just had to speak my mind

We visited our son and he treated us to this amazing restaurant. As a speak easy the entrance blended in next to the neighboring hardware store. You entered through a plain lit hallway that opened up to an amazing space. The staff was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious; the Crispy Brussel Sprouts were the best I have ever tasted....definitely recommend. You don't always get excellent service, a beautiful ambiance, and exquisite food all in the same place. It was a pleasant experience I would recommend to anyone in the area.
Chantelle B — Google review
I really enjoy coming here for a nightcap or just to have a meal or dessert. The bartender staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. If you ever do grab a bite to eat, There’s something on the menu for everyone. I’m pescatarian so I opted for the market fish which at the time was trout. And paired it with The perfect martini. The drink was OK not really my cup of tea for someone that doesn’t really like vermouth. Dessert was very good as well. I had a strawberry tart, which is perfect for someone that doesn’t want something too sweet. I do appreciate the theme of it being a speakeasy and the environment inside is somewhat low-key and classy. It sort of reminds me of the seller at Duckworths But without the jazz tunes.

Great establishment. The ambiance is wonderful. My husband got the shrimp and grits... It came with only 3 shrimp! He said is was delicious, but the portion size was not enough to fulfill his hunger. I got the cheesecake, which was tasty. We will definitely come back for drinks.

Best speakeasy place in Charlotte! Tasty food. We ordered the fried sprouts it was delicious. Drinks were great. Reservation is recommended.

Coolest speakeasy, with a discreet entrance and classy dim lighting. The food was fantastic - the potatoes had a hint of spice and crispy, the fried chicken in a tzatziki sauce was my personal favorite, and the rigatoni was perfectly al dente. The deviled eggs were a little salty but were still very tasty and well presented. Although they’re known for their cocktails, I found their red wine to be excellent as well. You absolutely have to get the donuts to share, they were so delicious!!

Selwyn Avenue Pub is a beloved neighborhood bar located in Myers Park, Charlotte. It has a strong following of loyal patrons who appreciate its collegiate atmosphere and relaxed vibe. The pub offers a selection of beers and serves typical comfort food options such as pizza and wings. The expansive patio is equipped with several TVs, fire pits, and a retractable awning, making it an ideal spot to enjoy the laid-back ambiance.
Their wings are incredible. Everything I tried and what others had....everyone raved over it. There is a good reason it's a local spot. They probably could use more staff but being on Easter Wknd maybe that's why. They were great but the place was slammed.

My first time at the place of business, I don’t usually do this, at this particular establishment, i just experienced discrimination mind you I’m the only black guy sitting alone, honestly the only black guy here, waiting to get served! The guy in the staff 31 shirt continuously walked past me and served ppl before and after me, even locking eyes with me and continued to ignore me! Its 2025 its all love i just know where I’m not welcomed…..

One of my favorite spots in town but….no dogs allowed on the outdoor patio seems a bit unnecessary…drove 15 minutes just to have to turn around and go home. Again, I love this place but, let’s face it, charlotte is a dog town
Carter L — Google review
Amazing food and staff, but they have no clue how to run a college football gameday. Opening weekend and you have Iowa State taking up 6 TVs, and bama vs FSU gets one. Teach your staff what to put on, it's not rocket science. Nobody in Charlotte wants Iowa State taking up 90% of the TV real estate. Great food and drinks, just fix this and it would be 5 stars.

I went here for my first time yesterday. LOVED IT. The atmosphere was incredible. Food was delicious! Definitely not typical burger and fries. I had sliders and fries and was really impressed. The front outdoor patio roped me in though. So relaxing. Want to go back for sure!

Fahrenheit is a trendy and lively restaurant in Charlotte, offering a fusion of New American cuisine with an Asian influence. It has gained popularity as one of the best rooftop restaurants in the city, providing stunning views of Uptown Charlotte from its location on the 21st floor of Skye Condos. The establishment boasts a long wine list and an extensive selection of cocktails and beers.
High end restaurant with beautiful vibe. Food is delicious, staff is very professional, honest & friendly. I highly recommend to have reservation & have formal attire. I enjoyed my dinner on rooftop & the view was amazing from this 21st floor roof top dining area. I highly recommend sushi.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We didn’t eat here this time since we had already finished dinner elsewhere, but we wanted to enjoy the atmosphere and take in the beautiful skyline view — and Fahrenheit did not disappoint! The rooftop vibes are amazing, and it’s such a great spot to relax with a drink. I had an espresso martini, and it was one of the best I’ve had. Definitely worth a stop whether you’re coming for dinner or just drinks with a view.

Such a beautiful view and the presentation of the food was to die for. Everything on the menu looked delicious. The staff was very professional and the atmosphere was very beautiful. Unfortunately due to weather we weren’t able to sit on the patio outside, but inside was still very nice.

Only issue was that my husband’s steak came back very well done when he asked for medium well due to the kitchen was closing so they were rushing. The manager handled the situation for us. Other than that the food, drinks and service were great! Forgot our server name but she was amazing with the drink suggestions!

Hosted a corporate dinner at the Fahrenheit Charlotte in their private dining room. The pre-event planning was professionally coordinated with an emphasis on my guests with specific dietary requirements. The onsite team was gracious and friendly. The room was set exactly as expected and their AV equipment worked perfectly. The event was a huge success thanks to the great team effort at Fahrenheit. I would strongly recommend this venue to all my fellow planners!

We liked the food, the vibe & everything. Great views from the roof top. They provided so many guidelines around the dressing but I saw many who didn’t follow it at all. The service was not upto the mark. It was not bad!

First time in a rooftop restaurant and we had a blast. We celebrated my daughter's 17 birthday. We arrived early, bit We didn't have to wait too long to be seated, and we actually were lucky because they gave us a table outside. Emma, the waitress, was very friendly, polite and made sure we were having a great time. We liked that we could stand up and take pictures in the balcony, or go to the fireplace and sit down there and then come back to the table. The food was delicious and the price was as you would expect in a place like this. Definitely will consider to comeback.

Irish pub
Rí Rá Irish Pub is a popular and convivial destination in the heart of the city, offering a wide selection of draft beers and ciders along with traditional Irish cuisine. The pub exudes charm and comfort, housed in a multi-level space that was once part of an officer's mess hall at the barracks in Dublin's Phoenix Park. It boasts an authentic Irish atmosphere with antique Guinness mirrors, portraits of literary figures, and a collection of Dublin ledgers dating back to 1800.
The best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Even the manager, who was busy cleaning up empty plates and ensuring excellent service, made sure we were having a great time. It’s rare to see a manager like that in customer service. I ordered the cranberry mint mule, and it was spot on. I also appreciated the fact that the candles on the table weren’t LED lights but actual flames. I’ll definitely be back!

This establishment was a highlight of our trip to Charlotte! The overall vibe of an Irish pub is amazing. The wood furnishings create the perfect ambiance. The staff is professional and engaging. I appreciate my server’s sense of humor and strong knowledge of the menu. Everything we ate was top quality with perfect presentation. I highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip, bangers & mash, fish & chips with the Baileys Spiked Mousse for dessert! Grab a Black & Blue beer cocktail to complement the meal.

Really enjoyed my visit here — the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. The spinach dip came out bubbling hot and delicious, and my burger was cooked perfectly medium, juicy and flavorful. The beer selection hit the spot, though I will say the Bourbon Rouge cocktail didn’t quite feel worth the price. Overall though, a great experience and I’d happily come back.

My wife and I spent the night in Charlotte on the way to a family reunion near Asheville. We had to stop in to Ri Ra, which is where we first met fourteen years ago. She had the Pub Rachel with Onion Rings. I ordered the Cottage Pie which included Irish Soda Bread. The Cottage Pie was comforting and full of flavor. I loved it. The Irish Soda Bread tasted like the bread I have eaten in Ireland but can never replicate when I try to make it myself. We had begun with a few beers and continued with a few cocktails. My wife's first cocktail was a Dark and Stormy, but she switched to my choice of the Dublin Sour (Tullamore Dew Whiskey, Lemon Juice, Simple Syrup, and Foaming Bitters). This is my new favorite drink. The service was excellent! I hope it is not another fourteen years before we return again.

Came into RiRa’ CLT after pride event. We waited for about 10mins or less before being seated. Our waitress came over short after.( she had bit of an Irish accent). We placed our drink order. The tea was bitter. & my rum drink was not sweet @ all, like she stated. It was ok. Nevertheless it sat during the entire meal. I tried to order an appetizer (spinach dip) but they were out of spinach. I Placed the food order, I did the salmon w/ Brussel sprouts but they were out (Brussel sprouts) of that as well. She recommended the garlic green beans. Nothing was garlic about them. Tasteless & crunchy that’s all…I am a little disappointed & my salmon was dry and tasteless. With a marinade on top .

The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery & Biergarten is a popular destination in Charlotte, offering a unique blend of brewery pub and outdoor beer garden. It boasts the title of being the oldest and largest in the southeast, providing a lively setting for visitors to enjoy house brews, live music, and delicious food truck snacks. The spacious eight-acre Biergarten offers plenty of room for kids to play while adults can savor their favorite drinks.
I’ve been here twice now for two events the brewery has hosted! Both times were so fun!! The outdoor atmosphere is so nice with so many places to sit. Tried some food today and really enjoyed it! I got the Turkey BLT—so so good would definitely get again. I mac and cheese was okay but didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the meal as a whole at all. My boyfriend the smash burger—he thought it tasted good (a little mustard heavy though). He also ordered the Mecktoberfest Special Beer which was great! I can’t wait until there’s another event here to come back again!

Visiting from out of town and was told by locals to come visit. They were not wrong! First of all, I didn’t expect such a large, beautiful bier garden so close to downtown. The whole vibe outside is chill and relaxing. We had their pretzel and smash burger and both were awesome. But the beer…WOO! Each beer was just as great as the last and the beertenders were very knowledgeable and helpful. The Hazy IPA recommendation was spot on. If you find yourself in Charlotte please make this a stop. I’ll definitely be back here when we come visit again.

I’ve been coming to OMB since 2016, and it’s still my forever go-to brewery in Charlotte! The ambience is unbeatable, with spacious outdoor seating, great music, and a relaxed vibe that’s perfect for hanging out with friends. It’s also surprisingly family-friendly — plenty of open space and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages. Whether it’s a sunny afternoon or a cool evening, OMB always delivers a great experience. If “Friends” had their Central Perk coffee shop, this is mine. After nearly a decade of visits, it’s safe to say OMB will always be my favorite spot in Charlotte.

Mainly here for the atmosphere, DAVE’S post birthday party, trivia night and we won 1st place. First time here was for a kids birthday party. She turned all of ONE YEARS OLD, but a true testament of just what to expect or not. Great experience each time, FUN TIMES!!! Food was good also! Typical bar food, but I’m picky so don’t mind me on this. The layout of this place is AMAZING, & so was the sunset!

Fantastic spot for German-style beer and comfort food! I loved the fresh Copper Altbier and bratwurst, enjoyed the huge shaded biergarten, and appreciated the family- and dog-friendly layout. Friendly staff, live music, clean and peaceful. Perfect for a casual day or festive night out.
Francisco M — Google review
Having previously visited the Ballantyne location, I approached this establishment with similar expectations. The layout, particularly the outdoor area, presents a commendable design. My order consisted of the doner kebab bowl, modified to exclude spicy chili sauce and tomato and cucumber salad due to personal dietary restrictions (tomato). The resulting dish was exceptionally well-prepared. The server, whose name I unfortunately did not retain, provided attentive and accommodating service. I had intended to document the garden and exterior through video recording, but the file was inadvertently deleted. Overall, the experience was highly positive. *Please note that the monthly features are not available on the weekends.*

We love OMB and from the moment we moved to Charlotte we knew it would be a place we'd frequent. It was a no-brainer having our wedding reception here in May 2025. I have all great things to say about this location and the staff. Our point of contact was Emily, and throughout the entire process she was nothing short of AMAZING. She was always accessible, had great suggestions and ideas and was accommodating to our needs. We had a private tasting to decide on our menu, and they made sure to make us feel special with personalized signs and private seating. And let me just say, the food was OUTSTANDING! My husband and I had a hard time deciding, and all our guests sang praise to the taste. And the dedicated team to our day was so sweet! It was an amazing day, thank you all for making our day be that much more special! We are very grateful ❤️ The Cruzes

In addition to grab-and-go food items and snacks, they also serve local draft beer and have an assortment of eclectic memorabilia on the walls.
Come here every time I visit Charlotte from Georgia because of the delicious vegan options!! I got the Vegan Dawn wrap, first day I got the soysage, second day I got the vegan chorizo. Both days were delicious and fresh!!! Love coming here and will continue every time I stop in.

I strongly dislike places that prompt you to tip but don't bring your food out, clean it up, or check in on you. Just pay your workers fairly dude and don't rely on customers. They throw your stuff on the counter by the window and you don't know when your specific order is ready for pick up (no buzzers or name calling). The food was delicious though and I like the concept of the bodega/brewery/diner mixed elements. There's board games to play and a nice outdoor patio/outdoor seating (both upstairs and downstairs). The loft is neat. Definitely Charlotte-y character.

I've always heard of this place but never actually visited. We had parked right in front of this location, so as we decided to head home, we wanted to stop in and see what the place was all about. It's like a continence store as soon as you walk in, but the further you walk in, they have a bar with seating and then a section selling wines, beers, seltzers, and regular sodas to coffees and anything else you may find at a gas station. Outside of the store, they have an open patio with plenty of seating. A lot of people go and purchase their beverages and then come outside to sit drink and have a good time. It's a quirky cool place, and I'm all for it. Love the ambiance and concept of it. The employees and everyone were super friendly, and there were no issues at all. I will def be visiting again.

Nestled on the 16th floor of the Grand Bohemian Hotel in Uptown, Búho Bar is a captivating destination that combines eclectic decor with stunning skyline views. With its plush red velvet sofas and gold accents, this bar exudes an air of sophistication reminiscent of South American rooftop lounges. The outdoor terrace features cozy seating options, including swing seats, making it an ideal spot to unwind after work or enjoy live music on weekends.
Buho Bar is such a pretty venue with a charming vibe! The outdoor seating is plentiful, and while it’s not the highest rooftop, the view is still lovely and adds to the ambiance. I really appreciated how accommodating the staff were—they created a delicious virgin mocktail for me, which made my experience even better. There was also a live DJ, which added a fun energy to the evening! We arrived early enough to snag bar seating easily, but it did fill up quickly as the night went on. Overall, a great spot for a lively and enjoyable night out!

We had an amazing girls' night here! We sat on the rooftop patio, which had a great vibe—perfect for a fun evening out and girl chat. All the staff were super friendly, and our server, Donte, was incredible! He gave us excellent cocktail and food recommendations and even took some great photos for us. We’d definitely ask for him again! As the sun set, the vibe inside was just as nice. The interior design is beautiful, and the DJ added a nice razzle dazzle! Overall, great night.

Let’s start with the views.. Amazing!! Inside is beautiful as well, kind of gives me princess jasmine and Aladdin vibes. The braised lamb flat bread was interesting.. wouldn’t say I’d order it again but it was not bad at all! Drinks are okay, a little heavy on the flavoring/juices. Overall.. definitely a cute little spot to go chill.

I had my 50th birthday on September 21st at the Buho Bar. The venue is gorgeous, the service was excellent and all my guests were attended to timely. The food was the talk of the party as well as the drinks. Days after my guests and myself are still talking about how wonderful it was. My thanks to Drew and Brett on ensuring my day was amazing! We secured an area on the rooftop afterwards and loved the vibes and the designs. The process was seamless. Drew was attentive in getting the details and worked tirelessly to ensure everything was perfect. I have no complaints and just perfect memories.

My friends and I visited to cheer my friend up. We had drinks, pizza, and micro wings. The wings were tiny but delicious. We sat on the patio of the bar for awhile. Overall, decent experience. The only thing I don't like is that they will only split the bill 3 ways, so we had to divide up the bill among our friends.

We came to Buho bar last week before the Stevie Nicks concert for some pre-concert food and drinks. We were also staying at the Grand Bohemian that night so it was very convenient. We originally sat outside but there were people smoking something from a vape and the smell kept wafting towards us so we moved inside. Also, while outside our server did not come back after bringing us drinks to take our food order. Once we were inside, we realized the bartender was the star of the show(did not get her name as she was so busy but she did have some cool glasses). We noticed that that not only was she taking a lot of orders, she was making ALL of the elaborate drinks for the entire bar. It was clear she was running the show and it was unfortunate that the other staff were not helping out more. For drinks, we each got the “Grand Bo” old fashioned. We were pleasantly surprised that the old fashioned had a proper ice cube (square, not cloudy and even had GB initials on it which was cute). The drinks were tasty and we enjoyed the black walnut bitters. For food, we ordered the charcuterie board, buffalo chicken flatbread, ahi tuna skewers and chicken skewers. The food was pretty good and was served hot. I really enjoyed the flatbread and the ranch flavor made it even better. My husband also liked his ahi tuna and chicken skewers and said they were cooked well. Had it not been for the bartender, we probably would have walked out and got food elsewhere. Overall, I am happy we stayed and our bartender needs a promotion!

Great place!!! Food and drinks are perfect. The bartender is professional and makes amazing cocktails. Decor is stunning just like the hotel. The view from the roof is breathtaking! Definitely a place to come and enjoy a great night out. The only problem there was when I was there, is that they were understaffed, and the bartender was working almost alone which was too much. He needed at least another person in the bar. Also, I hate online menus. Just print a few instead of making me scan a QR code

I love art & seeing sunsets at rooftop bars so I was beyond excited to find this place for my Charlotte birthday plans last Saturday. The site doesn’t say reservations are required & it appeared to be very spacious so I figured we could walk in that night as we aren’t picky about tables or standing at the bar. I had no clue we’d have such a hostile experience. The young blonde hostess was incredibly rude as soon as I approached & even more rude when asking about me not having a reservation while looking around the notably empty space as though there were no space for us. I told her we were fine at the bar/ being outside & didn’t require a room bc we wanted to see the sunset anyway. She asked “and you’re SURE it won’t be more of yall” while rolling her eyes before she walked me to the furthest part of the outdoor space. As my party started to arrive person by person, they ALL noted her rudeness as soon as they saw me. One of my guests went & grabbed a drink from the bar on her way in & the hostess came over and chastised us by saying “do you not have a server? Has your server not seen you? Please advise your party to not go to the bar.” I have NEVER had any bar anywhere say that before. It was cold & we asked a couple times if we could have the heater by us turned on & not only was it never turned on but staff kept coming out to just *look* at us without speaking. I want to note that maybe 4 people total came outside for a few minutes but that entire outdoor space was empty & we still were not loud or disruptive in any way. Our server was actually incredible. I wish I’d remembered his name to sing his praises here. I’d asked him if it was okay if I had a birthday cake brought up & he said it was. When the cake came, a manager came outside & chastised me in front of our entire group. He demanded to know if we’d communicated prior that we’d be bringing outside food (not sure why he wouldn’t have asked our server first). I let him know if there was a cake cutting fee it wasn’t an issue but that I did actually ask nearly 45 min before the cake came. The server had already brought plates & all for us. We shared some cake with our server, let him know he was the only good part of our experience & then we all agreed we’d never come back here. Lovely decor, nice server but hostile hosts & managers on top of syrup soaked drinks & unimpressive food. I would recommend sorting these reviews from worst to best because I wish I had before going here.

Supperland is a charming steakhouse located in Plaza Midwood, housed in a beautifully restored midcentury church. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience with its rustic-chic ambiance and hearty Southern dishes. Guests can savor delectable offerings such as miso mac and cheese, wagyu pot roast, and sausage gravy croquettes. The establishment also features a speakeasy downstairs, providing an intimate setting for enjoying handcrafted cocktails.
Absolutely phenomenal! Supperland is an exceptional dining experience. Stellar professional service with great attention to detail. The beautiful ambiance and outstanding cuisine enlivens the senses. Roasted oysters appetizer is a must, winter salad with burrata is delicious. The wood fired USDA Prime Ribeye & ultra-premium poulet rouge ( a very flavorful heirloom chicken that only the finest restaurants feature), bone marrow roasted broccoli & creamed spinach are all are world class. The s'mores dessert with ember ice cream & mini pretzels was one of best desserts we have ever had! The reasonably priced wine selection and perfectly prepared cocktails only add to the experience. This unique restaurant concept exceeds on every level. Very memorable and worthy of kudos to the ownership and management. We have only one regret...not ordering the Wagyu steak. But, I see this happening in the very near future! We highly recommend.

My sisters and I attended brunch at Supperland because I had been wanting to try it for awhile. It was AMAZING. One of my sisters has a lot of food allergies- gluten, dairy, garlic, onions, and some other specific things. When we were seated there was a full allergen chart at the table that listed items with gluten, dairy, eggs, vegetarian, and vegan options. The waiter was also very understanding and took the time to ask the chefs any additional questions regarding what was the in the food. Since everything is made to order, my sister was able to see her food being cooked and choose to keep things separate- like only the eggs and smoked salmon from the eggs Benedict bar. Anyways, the main take away of this I hope is for people with lots of food allergies to know this is a safe place for them to eat. The food is amazing- there are so many delicious options. And the drink menu is also great!

I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday at Supperland with friends. The interior is beautiful (though maybe a little loud), and the service was outstanding. Our server, Nick, was very knowledgeable and helped us choose a great selection of food and drinks. This is one restaurant in Charlotte where “shared plates” are actually large enough to share. Between five of us, we enjoyed bread, onion dip with house chips, a steak, miso mac and cheese, corn dip, brussels, mushroom risotto, and smashed potatoes. We were too full to order dessert, unfortunately. I was impressed with the depth of flavor in every dish, but especially the mushroom risotto. I will absolutely be back.

Very cool atmosphere. It's in an old church and the decor is honestly beautiful, it is . It is very LOUD, not the place to go for easy conversation. I felt like I needed to yell my order to my waiter. Not what I was expecting or looking for. We started with the shrimp cocktail, warm onion dip with homemade chips and bread with three butters, followed by all family style... 18 oz ribeye pre sliced for the table, brussel sprouts, ambrosia, and sweet potato. Plenty for 4 people to try a bit of everything. The food was delicious, but everything was a little under salted to my liking ( They did provide salt when asked). My sister in law and mom said the sweet potato with ice cream was the star, however I thought the ribeye was perfect, well seasoned, medium rare, and warm. Our waiter, Luke, was friendly and helpful. We will be back with family.

We had an exceptional dining experience at Supperland. The standout dishes were the branzino—perfectly cooked with crisp skin and tender, flaky meat—and the aged steak, which was rich, deeply flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The pork can-can was a showstopper: juicy, indulgent, and beautifully plated, with a balance of textures that made each bite memorable. The drink program was equally impressive. From the start, the cocktails were expertly crafted—balanced, creative, and perfectly paired with the bold flavors of the meal. The wine list was well-curated and our selection complemented the food seamlessly. We finished the night with a port that was smooth and indulgent, rounding out a truly satisfying evening. Supperland delivers not only on food and drink but also on ambiance and service. It’s a place that manages to feel both elevated and inviting. Highly recommend for a special night out.

The Speakeasy was spectacular! The food wasn't as good as I expected with those prices. However, the drinks were amazing! JP was a phenomenal host with his extensive knowledge on cocktails and his friendly demeanor. Thank you JP for making my birthday experience a night to remember!
Cassy M — Google review
Came here for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! Upon sitting the staff provided a very sweet card wishing me a happy birthday and the server was very knowledgeable about the dishes they were serving. Others within the staff were passionate about the dishes served and let us know when we ordered something they loved (a thing which I personally thought was a good sign). At the end I got a surprise birthday dessert (banana macaron) which was delicious. Only note would be to add more non-alcoholic options but overall I’d definitely come here again. Plates were shareable and delicious.

Last night we celebrated our five-year anniversary at Supperland. We had heard wonderful things and were excited to finally try it, especially since we’ve enjoyed almost every other restaurant in the group. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t fully live up to our expectations. On the positive side, our food came out quickly and everything was prepared correctly. The atmosphere is truly beautiful—it’s a stunning space. However, the service itself felt lacking. Our server didn’t seem particularly engaged, which made the evening feel a little uncomfortable at times. She seemed annoyed at times and had a flat, almost unapproachable look. The entrées were good, but the sausage gravy croquettes were truly excellent and easily the highlight of the meal. The restaurant did provide us with an anniversary card, which was a nice gesture, but the handwriting was sloppy and the message felt rushed and insincere—almost like an afterthought. In that case, it might have been better not to include one at all. While we enjoyed celebrating together in such a beautiful setting, the overall service fell short of what we had hoped for on such a special night, especially on a $300+ outing.

Nestled high above the JW Marriott Hotel in Uptown Charlotte, Aura Rooftop is a stunning escape that offers breathtaking views of the city skyline. This vibrant rooftop oasis features an inviting pool, cozy cabanas, and lush greenery, making it an ideal spot to unwind on a warm summer day. Guests can indulge in a delightful selection of small plates while sipping on an extensive cocktail menu that includes everything from signature drinks to craft non-alcoholic options like the refreshing Charlotte's Crown.
I stayed one night at the JW Marriott Charlotte and had dinner at Aura Rooftop. I tried two rice bowls—the Salmon and the Wagyu. Both were quite good, but what really stood out was the atmosphere. Even though the rooftop is only on the 5th floor, the vibe was amazing with a stylish and relaxing setting. Perfect spot to enjoy good food, cocktails, and city views while unwinding. Definitely worth a visit if you’re staying at the hotel or nearby! -- Recommend to do reservation
Tuung T — Google review
I didn’t have a reservation, but the host was still able to seat me—right around 5 p.m., just as the happy hour crowd was rolling in. Spoiler alert: the rooftop view overlooking the city is absolutely worth it, so I’d recommend making a reservation to secure your spot. Since this was just a stop before my dinner plans, I kept it light and ordered the spicy guacamole (and yes, it lives up to its name—spicy but so good!) along with the burnt end lollipops (smoked brisket). To sip, I went with a refreshing Charlotte mocktail. Another perk? During happy hour, all appetizers are $3 off, which makes it the perfect time to sample and share. What would have been this establishment a five star for me would have been attentiveness and hospitality.

Cool spot to unwind and relax. Great views of the city while enjoying a cocktail. Sit at the bar or your own little cabana area. On the 5th floor of the Marriott Hotel. Bartenders were friendly. Also has a pool behind the bar if you’re a guest staying at the hotel. Awesome place to stay of meet up for drinks with friends or coworkers. If you’re visiting charlotte I recommend checking this place out !

The food and service were good but the views and atmosphere were best at Aura Rooftop. Whether going for a drink, dining, meeting with friends, swimming at the pool, staying at the JW Marriott or simply taking in the sites, Aura can accommodate. I enjoyed my impromptu summer evening visit and would return. The vibe is relaxing. I even had the pleasure of witnessing a beautiful proposal. I highly recommend this rooftop venue.

Paid $300 to rent a cabana plus another $300 bar tab…..the bar tab was fine but people were coming in through the back door and just sitting in the cabanas not to mention we were there for 4 hours and the same trash and dirty towels were everywhere not getting cleaned up. What a waste. Why rent a cabana when just anyone sits in them and leaves garbage everywhere. We frequent rooftops for the view and upscale atmosphere this was by far our only disappointment going out in Charlotte.
Erin N — Google review
My friend and I were really looking forward to this rooftop bar — especially for the views of Charlotte. We made a reservation for 6 PM and were excited to check it out based on all the great reviews. Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to expectations. When we arrived, we were told to either wait on the side or try the bar (which was completely packed). We let the hostess know we’d wait by the bar — but she clearly forgot about us and started seating walk-ins with no reservations. How do I know? I stood right next to her watching the whole thing unfold while she tried to fix the seating mess she created. I’ve worked in the industry, and to be clear — it wasn’t even a busy or chaotic night. Maybe she was new, but the lack of organization and professionalism was really disappointing. It was enough of a turn-off that we didn’t even bother ordering food. We stayed for one drink (which was decent), but honestly, the service made the whole experience fall flat. This spot may have great views, but it’s not worth the hype. There are plenty of other places in Charlotte where you can enjoy a better vibe, service, and still take in the skyline. Skip this one.

Dilworth Neighborhood Grille is a cozy two-level sports bar located on Morehead Street just outside of Uptown. It's a popular spot for locals to gather and enjoy American favorites in a warm, wood-paneled setting. The restaurant boasts a spacious patio and is known for its abundance of TVs, making it an ideal place to catch multiple games at once. As the official home of the Charlotte chapter of the Roaring Riot, it's particularly beloved by Panthers fans.
Stopped by this place to grab a bite. The service was great. Kiersten was an awesome waitress who was very personable and fun. She made great recommendations. The Speidie was quite tasty and flavorful.

Passed this place a lot since I have moved to Charlotte. Out for a bike ride and figured today was a good day to stop. Wasn't very busy on a holiday Monday (Labor Day). Service? I was ignored for about 5-10 minutes, but bartender eventually came over. He was friendly. I order a burger and fries, and had a margarita. Fries were good. Burger was excellent!!! I want to visit again, maybe during a game and see if service is better and try more of the menu. Overall, I think this place has potential...oh, and did I mention...the burger was excellent!!!

Order from here routinely, today the Greek salad was supposed to have cucumbers and no artichokes. No cucumbers plus artichokes on a soggy bed of lettuce. All that was in there was lettuce, purple onions and feta. They tape the boxes shut on their pizza so it's a cold soggy mess once it's delivered. It used to be my go-to for ordering because the food was spot on even despite delivery, that's not the case anymore

I called, and a lady named Rosey picked me up. I asked about the baked spaghetti, and she said honestly, it doesn’t have a lot of ground needed in it, and I should order an extra hamburger (an additional $3). So my order came in, and it didn't taste good, and barely any meat. The garlic sauce tastes terrible as it has gone bad; maybe it was! Even the bread was burnt and soggy. I paid $22 for an awful-tasting item I’ve never tried. Bad place, and never again!

Recently moved to Charlotte and was looking for a relaxed sports bar with good “bar food”. I was surprised how spacious it was inside and the bar has a wrap around half circle. People were friendly, staff was friendly and attentive, and food (wings, jumbo pretzel, steak sandwich) was actually really good. The Fire wings are not that spicy but tasty. I would highly recommend. Was there on a Sunday night, 7pm-9pm during NFL primetime, and got a seat. Menu had a nice selection and price was good (not over priced like some places in South End). So yes, 5 stars is accurate.

Guys. When someone leaves this much of their meal on their plate and says no when you ask if they want a to go box, you need to ask “was there something wrong?” This was actually inedible. The oil being used for these chicken tenders is old. You can smell it as soon as it comes to your table. It made these taste rancid. Inedible. As for the salad, some dressing would have been nice but our waitress could not be bothered coming back out to check on us after taking our order- which is why she got a tiny tip. Will not be back here again. And sidenote. I got a burger patty for my dog. Why did it taste like meatloaf? I ended up not being able to give it to him because who knows what you put in it, which isn’t necessarily your problem. Your food is made for humans, not dogs, so that’s fine. But why ever would your hamburgers taste like meatloaf? That’s gross.

Kiara and the other young lady greeted us with a smile as soon as we walked in and was so friendly and welcoming! Our server was also very nice Felix. Whiskey Warehouse is a trendy pub located in Plaza Midwood, offering gourmet burgers and more. The establishment features a spacious rooftop with panoramic views of the city and a full bar. It has a casual American sports bar ambiance, making it an ideal spot to enjoy delicious food and beverages while taking in the sunset over Charlotte. The venue's historic location provides access to top-notch barbecue options, including their must-try crispy Warehouse wings available in Sriracha or Old Bay flavors.
I hosted my best friend’s bridal shower in the private single barrel room at Whiskey Warehouse this weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. I think every person that came in complimented how cute the room is, making it easy to create a beautiful event atmosphere when additional decor needed was minimal. Mark (GM) and Mack (bartender) both outdid themselves. They were so helpful in making sure everything ran smoothly and all of my expectations were met. Mack was so sweet and funny, our guests loved her! So many compliments on the food and drinks from everyone as well. There’s nothing on the menu you could order that wouldn’t be delicious. This place is a hidden gem, somehow they haven’t been getting many event inquiries yet which is astonishing. If you’re looking for a place to host an event, do it here! You’ll be in great hands. Thank you to all of the staff that took care of us this weekend!!

What an incredible night out! The ambiance was lively but still comfortable, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The drink menu was creative and well-curated, with something for every palate, from classics to more adventurous craft cocktails. The highlight of our visit was without a doubt our bartender, Alexa R. She was friendly, fast, and really knew her stuff behind the bar. Watching her work was like watching a pro in action, every cocktail was perfectly balanced and beautifully presented. She also took the time to chat and make personalized drink recommendations, which made the experience feel extra special.

This bar is absolutely fantastic! The staff truly sets it apart – the female bartender and the bearded male bartender are incredibly friendly and attentive. They consistently checked in to make sure everything was perfect, and their warm personalities made the experience even better. The atmosphere inside is unbeatable – cozy, welcoming, and full of charm with its unique interior design. The bar is well-stocked with an impressive selection of drinks, and the food is simply top-notch. I had the tuna with sweet potato, and it was a masterpiece – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. On top of that, the prices are surprisingly reasonable for such a high-quality experience. This place is a gem, and I can’t recommend it enough. Whether you’re here for drinks, dinner, or just to soak in the vibe, you won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I feel like this place is a gem. Not alot of people talk about how cool this place is...for me this is a summer must! They're food is cost efficient and it's really good..most of the time I get chicken tenders and fries or the philly...the price of their drinks aren't bad either. There is so much to do here..they have 2 bars inside and outside. You can order food and drinks at both...awesome patio with booths or table and chairs. You can play ping pong, corn hole or pool. It's just a nice place to chill and see friends. A great hangout spot! Prices vary if you're buying drinks..

We had a disappointing experience at this tavern. The food was just okay — flavorless and dry — though the pricing was reasonable. We sat outside, but unfortunately, a cockroach crawled onto our table while we were eating, which made us leave immediately. Service was lacking as well; we had to go up to the bar ourselves to collect menus and call for the waitress in order to place an order. Because of these issues, I would not recommend this place.

Video arcade
Super Abari Game Bar is a modern spot that offers over 30 arcade games and serves craft beers, cocktails, and sodas. It's the perfect place to unleash your inner child while enjoying adult beverages. The bar features a fantastic selection of new and vintage arcade, console, and pinball games. With childhood favorites like retro pinball machines and classic console games such as Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis, it's a delightful throwback for adults.
Pinball and retro video games, aplenty they have. Star Wars, Labyrinth, River Wild—ah, the Force flows through these machines! A Jedi's reflexes tested they shall be. Two tokens, the cost of pinball is. Fifty cents it equals. But patience, a Jedi must have, for video games—just twenty-five cents they require (at least the games I played). A deal most wise! For the locals, an Insider’s Club exists. Regular play, a privilege it grants. Strong in commitment, these players must be. Young Padawans, welcome they are—between 12 PM and 6 PM on weekends, they may train. But guidance, a parent or guardian must provide, lest the Dark Side of arcade mischief consume them. After hours, the ways of the 21+ crowd, this place follows. Strong drinks and stronger competition, a true test of skill and endurance, it becomes. Much fun, this place brings. Visit, you must!

Stopped in to waste some time while I was in Charlotte and ended up spending 2 hours here playing the arcades!! Everything was so clean and well kept. There was one rhythm game that had a weird button but everything else was in great condition. Awesome selection and a great place to hang out!! My favorite was Godzilla pinball and groove coaster.

My first time at Super Abari and it felt like a dream. A ton of classic arcade games including 3rd Strike, Spider-Man, and TMNT Turtles in Time. Also has rhythm games like Jubeat and Taiko no Tatsujin. Bartenders were very friendly and helpful. One machine ate my tokens and they gave them back. I enjoyed playing Smash Bros with people. The community seems super chill and there's plenty of space in the venue. I look forward to coming back!

I came with someone who was from out of town, took them here stating it was a nice place. But to be treated with enormous disrespect from the staff. The bartender already looked like they were in a horrible mood, and then proceeded to yell aggressively at me as I went to check out some of their t-shirts they had on display beside the bar that were FOR SALE. Saying in the loudest voice possible to leave the area immediately. If you're not allowed to go look at the t-shirts so you can decide if you want them or not, then why not put a BARRIER OR SIGN beside the bar, and not leave it wide open with a visible separation? Apparently there's some magical unspoken rule for bars that you can't go in this area that has NO VISIBLE SIGNS or BARRICADES indicating it's a staff only area. The bartender then explained how you "Don't do that ANYWHERE". So incredibly rude. The games in this place is fun so it's a real shame. But what an embarrassment of a bartender. He was also asked some questions by some people at the bar and gave really irritated and mundane responses, as if he really didn't want to talk at all. I'll give this place another shot one day, in hopes this guy was having a bad day or something. Horrible service. Great place for games, though. If you go here, don't talk to staff, just enjoy the games. I will say that the bouncer was incredibly nice in comparison, however.

Can't believe I had never been here before. This place is really cool even if you are not much of a gamer, it has a lot if nostalgia from games in the past. Lot's of games to choose from, kid friendly with adults (cause it is a bar too) I think during the daytime only. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Plenty of parking and across the street parking. Sometimes food trucks are there, but a couple of restaurants are within walking distance.
Jo N — Google review
Had such a great time here! This was my first time coming to the newer location, and I must say that I definitely enjoyed this location better than the last location they were previously. This space is much bigger and more organized, I feel. It didn't feel so cramped. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a bar and then a couch where you can play games on PS4 or Xbox. We played a few rounds of Mario Kart and loved it! There are some stairs that lead you down to the arcade. You have to purchase tokens to be able to play the games. The games only require either 1 or 2 tokens each, so you will definitely get your money's worth. They even have a few games that are "free play," which basically means it's free, and you just hop on and start playing. Came on a Saturday night around 8 pm, and it was not busy yet. They have parking around the building, but if it gets full, they do have free parking across the street on an empty lot. They did have a taco truck right outside, and you could order food and bring it inside and eat. They do have 2 tables you can sit at and enjoy your drinks and food. Overall, it was a great experience and will return. It is a great place to bring kids during the weekend from 12-6pm.

What a fun place. A true pinball lover's dream...open late. Not for families though. All pinball games are .50. $10 will give you great value. All my favorite games growing up, and in excellent condition. Set to non-expert playing parameters, too. Very clean throughout and friendly team. Beer selection seemed quite diverse (although I wasn't drinking). I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Charlotte. Beware of dirt parking lot across road when raining.

Went here for lunch during my work break with coworkers, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We waited an hour before receiving our food. When we asked about the delay, the staff told us, “We like to bring all the food out at the same time.” We were a group of five, yet one person never received their meal at all. After realizing it had been forgotten, we asked for it to be canceled. The owner came over to say it was “coming off the grill right now,” but that didn’t make sense since the rest of the food had already come out five minutes earlier—despite their claim of serving everything together. When our meals finally arrived, the food was dry and tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. One of my coworkers couldn’t even eat his because it was so bad. The beer battered fish was black. At the end of our meal, the owner said he would take care of our bill, which we appreciated. However, he added, “If we can’t cook the food the way you like it, this isn’t a place you should come.” That comment felt unnecessary and rude. A sincere apology and a friendlier attitude would have been far more respectful and appreciated.

second time here. food is pretty good and a fun place to watch football. service on the other hand has been a nightmare. this time, we asked for our drinks 3 times, water for our dog that was never brought, and we almost left our food on the table waiting for a takeout box. it was like pulling teeth to get anything we ordered besides our food (delivered by a food runner). as someone who has worked as a server, i have empathy for the challenges of managing many tables, but it gets ridiculous at this point.

This is one of our favorite spots, our family is here (almost) weekly for brunch. Staff is super attentive and friendly, food is great. Great value and a great place to hang. Gracie is great and Hannah loves making espresso martinis! (We witnessed Justin’s situation, he was extremely aggressive towards the staff when he wasn’t waited on immediately and was out of line for how he spoke to the staff when he was trying to find out why no one had been over to help by immediately cursing at them, a little kindness goes a LONG way. Just saying.)

The days of the good burger here apparently died, basically got a kids meal with more flavor for 20 bucks, which left me hungry wanting more, instead just make it $30 and offer a real burger like years ago, now I know it wasn't busy for lunch, that was the smallest bar burger I ever seen. Slack! There was one table taken and only my wife and I at the bar. We were just about to walk out when they finally took our drink order. Then I had to get the manager to close our tab. The bartender never came back to check on us.

Went here for brunch today and man was I blown away. The food was wonderful! They also had a build your own Moscow Mule bar. One of the first I have ever seen. Gin Mill brings the thunder with the food for sure! Go check it out! The staff was incredibly friendly and super accommodating! I will be back.

Great bar food. Pepper jack dip was fantastic and my shrimp wrap was pretty good. I think the components needed to be spread out more evenly across the wrap. My son enjoyed his psycho burger. Fries are crispy and delicious. This is the place to go if you are taking in a concert at Amos' since they give you a 20% discount off your food bill.

Went to the rooftop tonight for a little birthday party. Got pretzels, fried pickles, hummus and a black bean burger. Loved the pickles and the dip that came with them was wonderful. Hummus wasnt my favorite but the pimento cheese was yummy. The black bean burger was my most favorite one I've had. Super good with a bit of a spice. I'd definitely come back just for that. Service was pretty good even though we had to walk all the way downstairs for drinks and food. Atmosphere was great for a small gathering. Beautiful view and a nice breeze from the top deck.

Absolutely disgusting excuse of an establishment. Went there on a Saturday night and had my phone stolen straight out of my bag. The staff? Rude beyond belief and totally useless—actually, scratch that, they were worse than useless. I asked for help, and they looked at me like I’d just suggested they sacrifice a goat in the middle of the floor. Yeah right—they’re clearly in on it. This place is a scam front pretending to be a business. If you value your belongings—or your sanity—stay the hell away. You’ve been warned.

Great place to check out . Customer service was great from entry until departing. My friends and I stopped by to celebrate a birthday. The food was fantastic the drinks were great as well. Our server suggested great options and I would definitely go back here again. The decor I'm looking for is very cute. I really like the access to get drinks just on the bar from the outside of building.

Nestled in the heart of Charlotte, Lincoln Street Kitchen & Cocktails is a delightful dining destination that beautifully marries midcentury nostalgia with modern elegance. The restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere featuring rustic design elements like a moss wall and a walnut live edge bar. With three distinct seating areas, including a rooftop patio offering stunning Uptown views, guests can enjoy their meals in various settings. The innovative cocktail menu showcases house-made shrubs and barrel-aged drinks, complemented by an impressive wine selection.
Food is freshly made with great flavor! Prices are awesome and the location is beautiful. They have a special before 6:30pm- Appetizers for $5. The deviled eggs were great (they aren’t sweetened with relish). I had the Pan Chicken with a side of Brussels, perfectly cooked, sauce was phenomenal. Drink- Yellow Ranger, which was just sweet enough and strong! The staff members were incredibly kind and always available for assistance. The lighting is very low so be mindful if you have vision issues. Parking is on the one way road just outside the location which is perfect if you have heels. Price was $54.00- Chicken, deviled eggs, extra side of Brussels, and 1 cocktail.

Excellent dining experience - on numerous occasions - but especially for dinner/late night cocktails. While they do it all and do it all reasonably well at that. They excel at creating a dinner & cocktail experience that feels both hip upscale yet full of southern charm. As our waitress stated, you really can't go wrong with anything on their dinner menu - the chef creates beautifully balanced flavors. The staff are all very pleasant and attentive. And overall they are able to accommodate even last minute reservations which is very appreciated. The only negative for me personally is that the inside gets a bit loud, good if you like the crowd feel, but the rooftop and (new) patio dining in front are perfect spots to enjoy a chill meal and some fresh evening air! Pictures: Tuno Crudo (100% would recommend - shocked by how good the flavors mix), Pan-Roasted Chicken w/gumbo & okra, Black Striped Seabass, Citrus Creme Brulee (best desert in Southend for anyone who loves citrus). Drinks: Hanging Garden & Ember's Kiss. Would recommend all of these!

The last time I came here it was about 3 years ago for a friend’s birthday. It was wonderful then and tonight seemed even more exceptional. I got this amazing pasta with meatballs (3 types of meat) in a garlic cream sauce with asparagus. My drink of choice was the Desert Bloom. My friend got Steak frites— also exceptional. Sammy (Sammie?) was our server and she was amazing! Thanks again for such a great visit!!! I can’t wait to come back!

Great Saturday brunch at Lincoln Street. 2nd visit here and the biscuit and gravy was just as good as I remembered! Multiple people enjoyed the huevos rancheros. Bacon and hash were excellent. Reserved a table for 5 the morning of with no issues. Definitely walk ins available for smaller groups. Make sure to arrive with your whole party or they won’t seat you. Great service, highly recommend.

What an enjoyable experience! From beginning to end, Lincoln Street Kitchen delivered on a tasty brunch. First, the host and server couldn't have been nicer. Super friendly and helpful staff. And the place is cute inside with a small rooftop deck for nice days upstairs. The food was delicious. I opted for the blueberry waffle, a side of eggs and a side of thick cut bacon. My friend went with the breakfast sando with a side of potato hash. The eggs were cooked to perfection; the potatoes needed a bit more seasoning. The waffle was delicious- just not hot. The bacon was a bit fatty but delish with amazing flavor. And the bloody mary (made extra spicy) was perhaps the best I've ever had. Amaze. I'd recommend and look forward to returning on my next trip to Charlotte!

Typically I do not leave many reviews but I felt compelled to in this case because this restaurant has great potential. I was excited to try it out when I dropped in this past weekend. The atmosphere and ambience were very nice, and I liked the lighting and overall vibe. Service was fine, but the food and portion sizes were the main issue. I appreciate that they avoid seed oils and cook the fries in beef tallow, but the overall food experience was disappointing. I ordered the bread service, wagyu tartare, tuna tostada, pasta of the week, steak sandwich, brussels sprouts, and sweet potato fries. The bread was dry and lacked flavor. The tartare was overpowered by the feta which threw off the taste. The tuna tostada was just okay, not bad but not great, and the portion was very small. The sweet potato fries were soggy which was surprising since I had heard they were usually much better. The pasta of the week was actually very good, but for twenty dollars the portion was extremely small, if not the smallest I have ever received anywhere. The steak sandwich was solid and I was happy with that. All in all, the foundation is here for something really good, but the food design, flavor, and portioning need improvement. I would be willing to pay a little more for better portion sizes. Spending fifty dollars and leaving hungry does not feel right. I would only go again if the menu and execution improve, but I do hope they make those changes because the place truly has potential.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lincoln Street Kitchen is the gem of the neighborhood for me! The cocktails are truly tailor-made— with unique essences that give each drink its own creator. The food is consistently delicious, comforting yet creative, and the atmosphere just wraps around you. Martin & Rai... delivered an awesome night-cap to my day. I'll see you for brunch... Steve.

The Cotton Room at Belfast Mill is a charming speakeasy-style bar in Charlotte, NC. Housed in a historic space that once stored cotton from local farmers, the venue exudes a vintage atmosphere with original floors, brick walls, and exposed rafters. The menu features a mix of classic and modern cocktails like the Bees Knees and Smoke and Mirrors tequila drink. This intimate bar offers a cozy ambiance for enjoying specialty cocktails, beer, and wine.
What a great place! My thanks to Thomas for telling me about The Cotton Room. And Brad for sharing his knowledge of Rye whiskey. At one point, I thought I was keeping those young men from closing up and going home. They explained that as the night goes on, the crowd files in. It did. Many young people enjoying craft cocktails. Those bartenders know how to mix. And the bar is well stocked. Great Irish whiskeys. Good rye. Quality mixers and a plethora of bitters! A shake of walnut bitters can enhance a whiskey or rye. And they have the big ice cube so your drink is chilled without getting watered down. Cotton Room is the place. Try it your next night meandering through Uptown Charlotte. It's upstairs from Belfast on Brevard Alley.

The best place to hang out in my opinion. The bartenders a super friendly and they make this place special. Chilled water is served with every alcoholic drink you order, to keep you hydrated. The drinks taste great and to top it off, the music was was fantastic. Loved it. Highly recommend!!!

The Cotton Room was a pleasant surprise, especially for a first-time visit! We stumbled upon it while exploring The Alley and decided to check it out. I’m sober, so I didn’t try the Guinness, though I’ve heard it’s highly recommended. Instead, I ordered a mocktail, and it was surprisingly delicious. The venue is a bit small, but it has a cozy, intimate vibe. As a party of three, we were able to find seats without an issue. Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d recommend it for a casual and unique night out!

Climbing up the stairs and opening the door to find this cozy place made it feel a bit like a speakeasy. The bartenders were friendly and very knowledgeable, and our drinks were impeccably made. The atmosphere while we were there was very relaxed, which was a stark contrast from the boisterous bar down below. With a menu filled with great choices (including several mocktails, which was the reason we chose to come), awesome bartenders, and a chill vibe, this place is worth a visit.

Great place for a proper pour of Guinness. Tucked away upstairs to the former Latta Arcade, you will be transformed into a European pub feel. Great selection of spirits. It's very small and I would avoid this place if there is a soccer game. Unless that's your thing, you will probably enjoy the vibe. Cheers!

If you're looking for cozy location to have a nice stiff drink, look no further. Located in the alleyway - second floor - The Cotton Room is nice location is great location to catch-up with a small group of friends or just have drink at the bar. The bartenders are amazing! I made a special request regarding one of my drinks - although out of the norm for them - they had no problem with my request.

A bartender at a different bar down the street recommended The Cotton Room to me and he was 100% on point because it gave me the industry dive bar feel that I was looking for. Its a fun place to go during the weekends. Always busy soecially saturday for day drinking and brunch, as well as sundays. I like their food and the prices are great. My only complaint here is that thursdays they have the green tea shot special for $5 and it was GREAT very strong, however saturday that same shot is $8 and it had cero alcohol.... $8 to the trash.... The pretzel with cheese was very tasty and it came out fast. They have a small rooftop and a first floor patio which rn is covered because of the cold weather, so it can keep you warm.

Argon - went there Friday night and I really had a good time. This place is a chill local bar vibe kinda spot. They did not have any food being served or a food truck outside either. Not sure because of covid or that's just their thing.. Has a back patio as well. This place is big enough to hold events tho there were none the night I visited. The bartender guy with grey hair (ofcourse I forgot his name, sorry dude) is by far the sweetest, most patient guy ever. My drinks were super. Very friendly patrons as well. All in all a safe and happy space for a fun night. Rr - clean, well maintained and no, there aren't separate rr for men and women like at other establishments. I'm going to grab a sandwich before I go there next time.

I absolutely love the energy and environment of Argon. From the first time I visited they made me feel very welcome and appreciated. I’ll never forget the second night I attended when another patron came in very inebriated trying to continue his party there while trying to touch anyone he could. The bartenders instantly knew not to serve him, the bar back checked on the patrons affected, and management came up and resolved the situation almost instantaneously. What could have been a night killer was only a momentary bump in the road that was quickly/professionally resolved. The music is bumpin’, the establishment is clean, and the staff genuinely does what they can for every patron to have a great time responsibility/safely. I can’t wait to be back soon!

Dandelion Market in Charlotte is a vibrant culinary hotspot that seamlessly blends global lunch and brunch options with an exciting tapas dinner menu. This two-story establishment boasts a lively atmosphere, especially after hours when the second floor transforms into a dance club, complete with DJs on weekends. Guests can indulge in an array of small plates designed for sharing, featuring delightful dishes like the Veggie Benny and mushroom omelet.
Last night my daughter and I had dinner at Dandelion Market uptown after the Jesse Cook concert at the Booth theater. Hadn’t been there since the Beth Hart concert in 2018. The food is absolutely amazing. Definitely one of my top favorites for quantity, quality, service and price. Highly recommend. She said there’s a club upstairs but we got there after 10 last night and the first floor was almost empty. Food still absolutely brilliant as was the service. She is gluten-free and they had a menu, explaining how they can do gluten-free options where possible. We got the stuffed poblano - to be honest, it’s not one of my favorites, but I tasted it and I wanted more! That the mussels, pork belly, were all gluten-free. The pork belly was absolutely wonderful. It was teeny tiny, sweet for me, but the texture and the portion were beautiful, and I would definitely get that again! She obviously didn’t eat the bread that came with the muscles but I did, and dip it in some sauce that I spooned onto my plate really really good! We ordered the two sliders, and they brought one without bread for the gluten free option - still amazing. Short ribs and fried pickles. Had to be the best short rib app I’ve ever had anywhere. Pickled onions were just perfect. Seriously, as was the gravy. The rib? Literally just melted and it was not strong gravy. Really highly recommend a visit, I promise you would not be disappointed! If anything, they were better this time then they were five years ago, and we loved everything back then.

The service was great and the atmosphere is relaxing. We enjoyed about 90 % of what we ordered. The lamb lollipops, mussels, crostini, and sweet potato gnocchi were excellent. Both my husband and I ordered the blackberry old fashioned and neither of us liked it. Additionally, we ordered the brussel sprouts and they were undercooked so none of the 4 of us finished them.

I took my daughter (10yr old) last night before a show and we both really enjoyed the food. Her favorite was the Mac & Cheese which was fantastic. We also had the fried cauliflower and lamb lollipops, both of which I’d highly recommend. Our server was very polite and attentive, I only wish I remembered his name so I could give him a shout out here. All in all a terrific experience and will definitely be returning!

So so good! The two of us shared 4 plates and it was more than enough. We especially loved the pork belly and the green beans. Also turns out Tuesday is wine night so they have $15 bottles. Service was great as well. Would definitely return if we come back to the Charlotte area

Visited this restaurant tonight while trying to grab a bite to eat before our play started. The ambience was fantastic. The drinks were good but the spinach artichoke dip was the star of the experience. Definitely will be back again.

Love this place! Lot's of benefits to this place. The food comes out fast. No matter what it is. I ordered the fried calamari and OMG!! It was very delicious. It was fried nicely, light and crispy. I felt like I was eating fried chicken, pork rinds, and calamari all in one. It doesn't need seasoning. And if you add a squeeze of lemon juice, OMG amazing! I ordered the pork Belly. The pork belly was okay in my opinion. I don't like sweet sauce and the sauce was a bit too tangy for my liking. But other people may like it. That's just my personal opinion. I ordered the chicken rangoons. They were okay. I needed a bit more seasoning or salt. I ordered the Lamb chops for dinner. And they were amazing! The way they cooked that with a nice crisp and cooked medium rare and the flavor OMG!!! It came with a salad with feta cheese and a vinegarette dressing. I didn't really care for the salad on the side. Normally I would have because of the mixed greens and the feta cheese but I don't like sweet dressing. Overall, a super fantastic place!! I will be back!!

A friend and I decided to eat here after a chaotic day traveling. It was just what we needed. Great food, great service, relaxing atmosphere. We split the lamb, scallops, carrots and risotto, everything was bursting with flavor and cooked perfectly. Save room for dessert too!

I’ve been to Dandelion Market in Charlotte, North Carolina a few times now. I always have a good experience every time. The service is great. Our server Caitlyn was very attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food is also very good for the price. We shared a bunch of apps this time. I do believe they have some of the best mac & cheese in the city. We also have the mussels that were very good. The red sauce was delicious and it came with bread. The prosciutto and fig crostinis were OK. I don’t think I would order that again. The fries are always good- thin and crispy. They come with ketchup and an aïoli mayo that is really good and different. The wings were also good. Crispy but not saucy. The only negative about that is they had no blue cheese, only ranch. They were still good though. The calamari was also very good. It wasn’t rubbery but lightly fried and crispy and had a good flavor. They also have a pretty good beer list and wine. Another negative is that my wine was warm. One cool thing is they have a bunch of local beers that rotate. I’ll definitely go back to Dandelion for sure!!

Jocks & Jills is a sports-themed restaurant and bar with multiple TVs both indoors and on the outdoor patio. The atmosphere is not overly loud or rowdy, making it a comfortable spot to enjoy some bar food and drinks. The service has been praised by many visitors, with servers like Tiffany and Keisha receiving high praise for their attentiveness.
We only had the hummus, which was really good, but they fried their pita bread instead of it coming soft or even offering us the choice. Was not stated in the menu. My wife asked if she could get some soft pita and the waitress looked like she was afraid to ask the chef or manager, so we just ate the fried pita. Ambiance is good, waitstaff is pretty attentive. Third time here, always on Sundays to catch the full slate of NFL games. The vibe here is good and the service I've experienced has always been excellent. That being said, the food is a bit of a let down. The wings and burgers are generally pretty good but everything else is well below average and not worth your time.

I am writing to express our sincere appreciation for the wonderful experience we had at Jocks & Jills. Our group of 35 was in town for a soccer tournament, and from the moment I called to make the reservation, your team was incredibly accommodating. Upon our arrival, we were pleased to find our tables ready for us in the private room. Teddy, in particular, was exceptional at handling such a large group. He efficiently managed everyone's orders, and the food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. Our entire group was very impressed with the service and the meal. We will certainly be dining at Jocks & Jills again on our next visit. Please keep up the great work!

I have never heard anyone, let alone a manager in a customer service industry talk to customers so condescendingly and rude for absolutely no reason other than please change the channel ever. Soul Gastrolounge is a trendy gastropub and lounge located in Charlotte, offering a unique blend of globally-inspired small plates, sushi, and handcrafted cocktails. The intimate setting becomes lively after 10 PM with DJ sets. The menu features an array of internationally-influenced tapas such as Asian-glazed pork belly tacos, shrimp ceviche, Rocky Mountain oysters, and Dirty South nachos made with fried chicken skins and pimento cheese fondue.
If visiting on the weekends make a reservation. We arrived at 5 on a Saturday and sat at the bar and by 6 the place was full. When we left at 6:30 people were waiting for our bar seats. Our bartenders Taylor and Jacob were very friendly and attentive. I got the Soul Train cocktail. For food we shared the Asian Glazed Pork Belly Tacos and the Fried Meatballs. Both great to share. Plenty of parking. Convenient as it is at the Sugar Creek Light Rail Station. So you also have the option to use the large parking deck.

Checked out Soul Gastrolounge and it definitely has some creative dishes. The pork belly tacos were my favorite. Pork belly and watermelon sounds a little wild, but the sweet and salty combo worked perfectly. The bone marrow came out hot and bubbling, super flavorful with the capers and onions. My only complaint there was they didn’t give enough crostini (3–4 pieces just wasn’t enough for all that marrow). I tried the Mythos martini, which literally tasted like a Greek salad in a glass — weird but good in its own way. The lamb burgers were tasty, but nothing super memorable compared to the other plates. Service from James B was great — really attentive and made everything smooth. Only two things I didn’t love: our silverware came out dirty and not a couple of smudges but actual food pieces on the forks and knives which was really gross to me and the music was fun but way too loud for a Tuesday night. On a weekend I’d expect that vibe, but midweek it made it hard to actually talk at the table and all night I felt like I was shouting BUT the DJ was awesome. Every single song he played was amazing and overall it was a great set. Overall, though, it’s a fun spot with bold flavors, good drinks, and a lively atmosphere. I’d come back, especially for those tacos.

Where do I even begin with Soul Gastrolounge? You came back like you never left. The new location is extraordinary bigger, better, yet still holding onto that same OG Soul vibe we all loved. The ambiance was amazing, the food and drinks were top tier (just like my last visit in 2022), and the staff was phenomenal. Service was flawless and our waiter Joshua truly went above and beyond. Welcome back, Soul you were deeply missed!

As good as, if not better, than the OG! Same Soul vibe but larger space to accommodate more people. Same DJ booth and many elements are the same. Parking is a breeze and free. The service was warm and attentive. So many little details that made the original so popular.

The food was just as good as it was when they were in Plaza. So tasty and fresh. The cocktails were absolute buns and therefore I cannot give 5 stars. You need to get someone in there to show the bartenders how to make a margarita, or an old fashioned. You charge $18 for a drink, it should be top quality. Outside of the drinks being poor, everything else was awesome and Ill be back for sure.

10 out of 10! Greeted immediately upon sitting at the bar by very informed, smiling, and helpful bartenders. The drinks prepared were not only beautiful, but savory and true to the menu description... top notch! Recommended to try one of the sushi rolls - can't remember name - but, chef's kiss! I will definitely be back!

We used to love this place when they were at their old location, 3 years ago. We went back today for my birthday and were unfortunately disappointed. We made reservations - online it does not give you the option to reserve a booth, which is what we would have preferred. So when we arrived and she tried to sit us at a tiny 2 person table where I'd be basically touching the person next to me - we asked to sit at one of their booths and were told "those are all reserved". Why? No one came and sat at them for over an hour and there was no option to reserve the booths online. We were told that it was about a 30 minute wait for sushi, so we went ahead and put in our order right then and there. It took 50 minutes to be brought out to the table. Then not even 5 minutes later, people that arrived well after us, recieved their rolls. I'm not sure if they forgot ours or something?? The sushi roll was mediocre. We also ordered the Korean wings and the chicken skin nachos. The wings were tiny and the meat on the legs (you can't order all flats) was tough. The nachos barely had any cheese on them and the cheese was cold when it got to us (we immediately ate them when they arrived at the table). The cocktails were MAYBE a 2/5 stars. They were out of 3 different drinks we wanted to order and then the drinks we did get, weren't great. I even sent one of them back and they did take it off of our check for me. Also, no garnishes on ANY of the drinks? If I'm paying $18/cocktail, at least make it look nice!! By the time we got our sushi roll, we had been there for an hour and a half and were just ready to leave. It took our server 15 minutes to bring us our check after we asked - we almost walked to the front to ask to pay so we could leave. The server did have some things taken off our check for us, which was nice - but I would have preferred better service, better food, and better drinks on my birthday. We unfortunately will not be back.

With a full heart I can say that I am so happy for this place to come back to us. We got to visit their new location and got super lucky to have Josh as our server. He was so attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you for the renewed experience and consistency in food flavors and drink options.

The food was absolutely delicious! The portion was so generous that I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting—I ate half and saved the rest for later. It was definitely worth the $20. Unfortunately, the restaurant doesn’t accept Apple Pay, and I didn’t have my wallet or physical cards with me. However, we managed to solve the issue with Zelle, which was really convenient.

Came in on a Thursday night right at dinner. Had to wait maybe 15min for a table. They have a great selection of beer on tap and fully stocked bar. All the food came out quickly. The chicken wings were cooked prefect. The Ruben was very good too. Service was delightful, I would say worth a try.

Went to Duckworth’s tonight after several locals told me it was a good place to eat. I sat at the bar (with more TV screens in one room then I think I’ve ever seen, but they were, oddly, not in the least distracting), and ordered a local Charlotte beer (Better Days Pale Ale- delicious, floral, aromatic and crisp). The staff were wonderful. They were all incredibly attentive, polite, never hovering, but always checked in. They served me quickly, efficiently, and professionally. I was impressed with their overall attitude, attention, and friendliness. For food I ordered an 8oz center cut sirloin, med-rare. The entrees come with two sides and garlic bread, so I chose tater tots, and a salad with ranch dressing. The side salad was fresh, cold and crisp. It included red onion slices, which I love. The dressing was very good - a classic, thick and flavorful ranch (not the watery, thin and light flavor kind that some places have). The tater tots were absolutely fantastic. Golden crispy outside, and soft, almost melt in your mouth inside. They didn’t taste like they were previously frozen, and tasted fresh and delicious. I could have eaten those all night. The steak, however, was disappointing. The cut of meat was good quality, and the char-grilled style was smoky and flavorful. It was perfectly seasoned. But it wasn’t cooked properly and was totally dry. Now, having grilled steaks and a substantial amount of meat in my life, I know that grilled meats are tricky. They are hard to get right and easy to mess up. A second too long and it’s dry as cardboard. It wasn’t that bad, but as I ordered medium rare, I felt I should have ordered rare instead. The one saving grace to the meat was that it was served with a finger-licking BBQ sauce that I thought was excellent. Not too smoky, not too sweet, not too savory. Truly fantastic BBQ sauce. Overall, I had a nice time by myself, and enjoyed the experience. Next time, I’ll order the Carolina BBQ Plate and will probably rave about it.

One of the last people in by accident, (visiting from California) I run restaurants…. Sean the tender of the bar was more than amazing, food was pipping hot, tatot tots were crispy and fresh—- at the end of the night! All in all just an amazing experience for my sister and I… 10 outta 10 highly recommend!

Service was absolutely terrible and food was not great either. Our server, Khadija, didn't greet us until 10 minutes after we sat and said she'd be right with us after dropping off a check. We watched her for another 10 minutes servicing other tables before she finally came back. We literally didn't even have water yet after 20 minutes. We ordered drinks and food all at once because of her. She got water and our drinks 10 minutes later, and our beers were not cold, like they'd been sitting at the expo for quite a bit. We got our food 30 minutes after ordering. Mind you, this was flatbreads, a Philly, and a personal pizza. Things that take 10 minutes max. The restaurant was in no way slammed either, with numerous empty tables. The flatbreads didn't taste great and looked worse. Needed a lot more cheese and the chicken was just lumped in the center. The centers were all flimsy and soft and the crust was hard. It was more like a big cracker rather than a thick flatbread. 6:04 we were sat, 6:26 we ordered, 6:55 was when we got our food, and she dropped the check at 7:10. We had empty water and beers the whole time, too, and were never offered refills. Felt like our server hated us as she was refilling and paying attention to her other tables. I will never go here again.

Dined on a relatively slow Sunday night. Drinks and food were great. Highly recommend the Fans Only Cocktail and the BBQ ranch dip was fantastic with my tots. Try the wings! Great appetizer! I always get the cheese steak. It never disappoints. Our server Gabby was a delight.

The Cellar at Duckworth's in Charlotte, NC is a sophisticated speakeasy with a vintage ambiance that offers an array of creative cocktails and diverse American cuisine. The establishment provides an exceptional dining experience with its delectable food, attentive staff, and inviting atmosphere. It stands out as the perfect escape for a more intimate experience, especially for date nights. The cocktail selection and overall atmosphere are the main highlights of this classy venue.
What a gem! We came here while in town for a conference and so many people had told us to come here that we had to give it a try! The ambience is just what you would want out of a speakeasy! It’s downstairs in a true cellar, has a comforting smoky smell, and is dark, like a well kept secret! We sat at the bar since we didn’t have a reservation and loved this experience. Spencer was our bartender and was so helpful! He made great recommendations! I enjoyed a mocktail Mojito that he suggested and it was delicious and refreshing! I ordered the burger and it was so flavorful and juicy! The fries were well seasoned and hot too! My friend got the short ribs and was so pleased with her choice! We both had clean plates when we were done! Highly recommend if you’re in or around Charlotte!

Phenomenal service and food! The truffle fries were mind blowing and the short ribs melted in our mouths. Also highly recommend the cheesecake for dessert— it’s on the softer side but absolutely incredible. The atmosphere was a bit dark and louder than expected, but the experience was still fantastic.

Came here with some work friends in the area for a late meal and was very impressed. Our server Isabella was amazing! She did a fantastic job of explaining the whole menu and place to us. We did small plates to share. Sticky buns incredible. Brussels and flat bread good. Had one of the desserts and not a bad bite. Would fully recommend coming here.

Food: Some items were perfect like duck in The Duck Confit; but the Risotto side was extremely salty borderline impossible to eat. Service: Phenomenal! Atmosphere: Very nice place but a little loud at times.

This establishment is such a gem! Speakeasy vibes with old timey feel that makes it cozy. The smokey smell lingering the room was heavenly. I had an absolutely amazing experience here for my birthday dinner with my bestie. Drinks were made well, ribeye was cooked to perfection, and even got a little birthday treat for both of us. Definitely try the charcuterie & Brussels sprouts as an appetizer, they don’t miss. Our server Madison was so sweet, knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for making it such a memorable experience!

I took my sister here for her birthday after some research into great dinner spots in Charlotte, and the Cellar did not disappoint! Our drinks and food were amazing, and the service was fantastic. The speakeasy atmosphere is very cool, although the space is small and can get loud. We were still able to have a conversation and enjoyed our food so, so much. We had the duck confit and a steak as our entrees — legitimately think it was the best steak I have ever had, though the duck and risotto together tasted incredible. Our server was excellent and helped recommend amazing drinks for both our taste preferences, and made picking entrees so much easier. We will most certainly return!

Southern restaurant (US)
American restaurant
Haberdish is a trendy Southern kitchen and cocktail bar located in Charlotte's NoDa neighborhood, paying homage to the city's textile mill history. Established in 2016, this restaurant offers Carolina-inspired comfort food such as fried chicken with Alabama white sauce, North Carolina trout, and housemade barbecue pork shanks. The menu also features delectable sides like hushpuppies, sweet potato dumplings, and cornbread pudding.
For our wedding anniversary we visited Haberdish. When we were seated we were greeted with a kind Thank You card for our anniversary. The decor and atmosphere were very nice and simple, creative but simple. I would have preferred a softer genre of music but that is completely subjective. Our server was Hannah and she was very attentive to our needs and was kind and a very bubbly personality. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and the drink menu. The food. Most everything is locally sourced and made in house. The chicken strips were not overly breaded and were juicy and extremely tasteful. A variety of sauces compliment the chicken. The Mac n cheese was fantastic with the fried chicken skins added. I never would have guessed that buffalo sauce would go well with the Mac n cheese but it did. The tater tots were very good. To be honest, to me, there was nothing that set them apart from other tots. Maybe some additional seasoning. The rack of ribs were great. Honestly, fall off the bone tender with a dry rub on the bottom of the ribs with a great smokey sauce on top. Superb flavor. A complimentary dessert came out. The in house banana pudding was outstanding. Thick, rich, the bananas were perfect, not too soft and not too hard. I highly recommend the pudding. Banana pudding is a staple in the south, especially in bbq restaurants. Haberdish has one upped everyone with their version of banana pudding. I highly recommend Haberdish, they offer a unique and very distinguished southern menu. Finally, I personally appreciated the manager spending time with us to answer questions and to make sure we were happy. Keep up the good work.

One of the best culinary experiences I’ve had in Charlotte, hands down. The fried green tomatoes were absolutely phenomenal, battered to perfection with just the right amount of crunch and texture, and made with super fresh ingredients. If you go, make sure to try them. I also had the pork belly taco, which was packed with flavor. The blend of herbs and microgreens gave it a fresh, elevated touch. And let’s talk about the THC-infused drinks, next level. Mine had a coconut base that was smooth and not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience.

The best chicken sandwhich I have had in my life. I tried the seasonal fall chicken sandwich and I have literally never liked coleslaw before until today. The sandwhich tastes like fall, earthy and warm which contrasted the slaw perfectly. The melted cheese was mild and delicious. The potato wedges were perfectly fried with a crunchy crust and soft potato inside that didnt lose the potato flavor. The sauce was amazing. That's not even to mention the chicken itself which was dark meat cooked to perfection, moist, tender, and the batter was perfectly crunchy. Our server Jules was very personable and explained everything to us in great detail as well as providing her preferences. She gave us hot warm towels to clean out hands because she knew that the sandwhiches could get a little messy. The service was quick too! I dont have the vocabulary to describe how good this experience was and how the food was. Worth it 1000%.

This is a one of a kind type of place with amazing service. The food was great and I would rate it 5 stars because our waiter was so good. We got the Chicken and waffles with a breakfast biscuit. Sides were equally delicious with the cheesy grits and sweet potato dumplings tasting like something out of a story book. Only concern I had was the drink called Drunk Elephant. It was absolutely horrible but our waiter took it off the bill so no problems there. I'll definitely come back again!!

We enjoyed sitting al aire fresco tonight. Such a gorgeous night to sit and people watch - the cars, the cycle tricks, moto tricks, hen party, classic low rider cars tricked out, segue riders, people strolling along enjoying conversation... lovely night. Good food, fried chicken was yummy. Fried green tomatoes were a little hard but the butter lettuce salad was wonderful. Loved the waffle tho son did not. Good experience overall. Our server & team were very good. Glad we got to sit out front since inside would have been way over stimulating for all of us. Very pleasant night. Thank you, we appreciate you.

The restaurant features a dog-friendly patio where you can enjoy its diverse menu, including popular items like the 12Hr Ribs, fire chicken, hickory pulled pork, fried tilapia, and smoked beef brisket. In addition to traditional offerings, they also serve fusion tacos with kimchi pork and meatless options like tofu wings and soy pork spare ribs.
Amazingly fresh and innovative fare. The Kinchi fries were top-tier, and the main shareables fed my family of 5. Drinks were well-thought and overall, the food was delicious. I HIGHLY recommend....attentive staff, quick service, and an upscale atmosphere with private karaoke rooms that make me want to come back without the kids.

We booked a room for Karaoke. No complaints there, but management is SO RIGID. My wings didn't seem cooked and were very underseasoned. When I asked if I could get extra seasoning, I was told, "they weren't allowed to do that." When a member of my party tried to customize her drink, she was told "they weren't allowed to do that. The fries had ZERO seasoning so I found the motto on their shirts, "Putting flavor into Bland St," to be VERY ironic because the flavor was definitely on another street!

I ordered the Bulgogi Kimbap for pickup via Instacart about 30 min in advance. It was ready for pickup at the front door no problem. I was disappointed to hear they didn't have chopsticks, though. The flavor is pretty good, but I feel like it could be even better. Always love the veggie flavor, the Bulgogi felt a little underwhelming. Can't beat the price though.

After entering location, it was hard to navigate due to folks crowding the pathway to the room. The back bar person couldn't explain what soju was or how it was made. There were long extended wait times for order to be taking or explained why it took so long. Then we left the karaoke room, had forgetten sunglass and went back to get them and they were stolen by 2 girls per video surveillance provided by management. The sectional seating was extremely low to the ground. The drinks were overpriced, the prices on the menu were different for what I was charged. I ordered a pitcher of white sangria, the menu said $40, but the server said it was $54. I asked why and if all the prices on the are correct. He stated that only the pitcher price had changed. I refused the pitcher and the price, so he poured it out. The food was okay, we had fried wings($19), boa bun(2 for $11), kimchi fries($13), pineapple soju($20), and 4 drinks($60) somehow they ended up charging $175.09. Overall, it was a different experience, but will be our first and last visit there.
Matilda R — Google review
A bit overpriced, especially the sides and the drinks, but the menu has a lot of interesting things to try, and most of what my group ordered was pretty tasty. Serving size is on the small side. Highlights were the kimchi fries (tho, the kimchi was really weak) and bao buns, although the green tea cornbread and kimbap were decent, too.
Kimmie C — Google review
I really wanted to love this place. My husband and I have been trying to find a decent Asian restaurant in the Charlotte area for quite some time. We were excited when we saw the menu online and decided to give this a try. They have a great looking menu but, some of the items that we ordered were lacking in preparation and flavor. Kimchi fries and the bone in chicken wings came out hot and the flavors were ok. I think a little extra sauce on the side for the soy garlic wings would have been nice. The gochujang sauce on the other wings were good though. The pork belly bao buns were disappointing, the meat was cold and chewy. They would have been perfect if they were cooked to order and hot. The kimchi bulgogi kimbap, was… It was like eating day old leftovers straight from the fridge and the bulgogi had a weird texture, like dried tofu that had been reconstituted with not enough water. I really hope that this isn’t the norm and that this restaurant can get better at executing the menu to its full potential. With that said, the service was excellent. My husband and I were greeted by the lovely staff as soon as we walked in. Our server took the time to answer any questions and was super sweet.

An empty restaurant speaks for itself.” This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had , and we paid a ridiculous amount of money for it. If you want to throw your money away, by all means, come here. The cocktails? Tasteless. Like watered-down lemon. The food? Cold when it arrived. I ordered a crispy pork belly it came practically raw. Disgusting. I can still feel the greasy fat stuck in my throat. The service was just as bad: slow, careless, and completely uninterested. This place is all hype and no substance. It’s overpriced, poorly managed, and frankly, a joke. Do yourself a favor: go anywhere else. This place desperately needs new management and a complete reset.

Great experience. Our initial visit to Ink and Ivy. Absolutely gorgeous day to sit outside. Service has been stellar. Sam is great server, wonderful personality. I had grilled Salmon, Broccoli, and Jasmine Rice entrée, priced under $25.00. Per my husband "beer was cold and cheap".

Ink & Ivy is a pretty cool restaurant! One of the best things about it is that it's really convenient for anybody staying in Downtown Charlotte, as me and my friends were able to walk there in about 5 minutes after leaving a Panthers game. I would also like to shout out the entire staff, as the restaurant was absolutely packed with people who had just left the game, but they did an amazing job at handling the large crowd with ease, class, and efficiency. Never once did an employee look flustered, lose their temper, or act in any unprofessional manner whatsoever. It was one of the most impressive feats of customer service I've ever seen. The food was pretty good as well, though kind of hit-or-miss. The tenders were absolutely excellent, and some of the best I've ever had. However, the only negative aspect of my experience at Ivy & Ink is the fact that the fries were cold, and simply not very good. Had the fries been better, it would have been a 5/5/ experience. Nevertheless, Ink & Ivy is a great restaurant, which I would highly recommend!

So, to start, my waitress came over with an attitude, no smile, or greeting. I knew from that I would get crappy service. No utensils or napkins. Never came to offer a refill. The waitress Ebony, who waited on other tables, brought me ketchup and honey mustard with a sweet tea (coke was my drink). It was horrible from a customer service standpoint. I eat here occasionally but NEVER again. I saw my waitress once she came over as I am writing this. I asked for my check and will not tip. This was horrible!!! I was treated like a dog.

I visit Ink N Ivy pretty often because the food is consistently good, and the atmosphere never disappoints. On my latest visit, I ordered the fish sandwich and the spinach artichoke dip—both were really good. The fish sandwich was flavorful and well-seasoned, and the dip was creamy with just the right amount of kick. If I had one small suggestion, it would be to bring back the fries they used to serve. The old ones were crispier and had a better texture, but overall, everything was still very good. Ink N Ivy continues to be one of my go-to spots in Uptown Charlotte.

We came on a Thursday afternoon. Patio was so beautiful and the chairs so comfortable!! We started with the pretzel sticks, wings with a few sauces on the side, and Nashville hot mozzarella sticks. All the apps were delish. The mozzarella sticks had a spicy seasoning and it was different than I expected but still good!! I got a chicken ceasar wrap add bacon which was perfect and all the signature drinks were 7$ which was even more amazing. I'll be back!

I had a few events uptown and decided to go to Ink N Ivy drawn in by the atmosphere. I went there 2x over the week with different sets of friends and both times were very disappointing. The second time we actually ended up leaving because the service was so terrible. The service was terrible both times but the first time was slightly better because we were at the bar and could flag the guy down with whatever we needed. The second time was at a table, restaurant was pretty empty and we sat for 25 min before anyone came over to take a drink order. 20 min later when the drinks never arrived, we left. The food was okay - I liked the wings but the nachos weren't good and definitely wouldn't order again.w There are so many awesome restaurants uptown, I probably won't be back. I gave it two chances, which I think is fair.

My partner and I don't drink and definitely do not like bars.HOWEVER. this place is great!!!! The service is good, the atmosphere is super beautiful and unique, the music is good. The seating arrangement is pleasurable always-lots of variety and never feel cramped. And as a plus, they are quick with keeping seating organized... And pick up orders. We go there quite frequently and really enjoy the food here. It's way above par for a bar. Plus, when we do feel like having a drink.. it's a good place to have one. The vibe is mid. It can get crowded on weekends but not in a bad way. Parking is terrific because it's literally connected to the restaurant/bar. THEY STOP SERVING FOOD AT 10:00 P.M. but the bar remains open after that. It's also a great place to take pictures with lots of photo opportunities. Another edition is that it's right across from the downtown park which is great for pictures too!

The atmosphere and menu looked very promising as we were looking for somewhere to have dinner while in town. Unfortunately that was quickly ruined by the service. Our server started off with a little bit of an attitude and not very welcoming. Table visits and check-ups were few and far between. Things were missing from what we ordered and we waited almost 15 min until we had to get up and hunt someone down to help since our waitress was missing. Once she was located and informed we were waiting for her, she was even more unpleasant the rest of the visit. I get it, we are humans and have good and bad days. I work with the public as well, and when I have bad days I still treat everyone with a smile on my face. The food was mediocre, nothing that was memorable or will make me want to go back. Two positives were the prices were very good and the music they were playing was enjoyable.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a lovely, professional woman (Ashley)…she was so sweet, made us feel right at home with her smile and kindness. She showed us to our table, and was quick to get us situated and get drinks on order. Thing is about Sharon’s Lounge, it’s not a full restaurant, but has exquisite small bites…and most importantly, you feel like you are at home with a personal assistant getting you exactly what you want. I would give the atmosphere a perfect 10, gotta check it out to understand the sense of home that you feel, the service was another perfect 10; couldn’t ask for anything else. The food we ordered was also very good. Portions were in order, quality of the cheese, meats, fish were all perfectly fresh. Look at the pictures, judge for yourself. Also, if you didn’t want to park, they also offered a valet service which was perfect as well.

Sophia's Lounge in Charlotte, NC is a masterclass in elegance and ambiance. Nestled inside The Ivey’s Hotel, it blends vintage charm with modern sophistication think velvet sofas, candlelit corners, and artful cocktails that feel like they were crafted just for you. Whether you're sipping a smoky mezcal creation or enjoying a quiet breakfast, the atmosphere is intimate and luxurious. It's the kind of place where every detail from the plush seating to the attentive staff makes you feel like royalty. I had my 60th Birthday 🎊 🎉🎁 celebration in a private room, the Library Lounge, amazing is an understatement; it was just FABULOUS!!! The decor was top tier; a big shout out to Kyle. Kyle’s gifts and talents are unmatched. When I say it Wowed me, it left me speechless. From the planner, Marissa, who walked me through the process, step by step, to the bar tender, Kelly, and the rest of the staff that were so personable, attentive, and welcoming. My guest was very pleased. About the food…it was scrumptiously delicious! The Chef did a fantastic job. I had the Southern Journey, Buffett style. The deserts, key lime pie and the chocolate layered, toffee cake was a dream. I stayed at the Ivey hotel for the night in the Executive Suite; just Wow!!! It was exquisite, a weekend to remember. From the time I walked through the hotel doors to confirm my stay, the staff was like no other. Let me not forget the gentleman who was in charge of Valet Parking, he was so very charming and welcoming. A big thank you to Christy for escorting us to the Library Lounge for my celebration, I just loved her attentiveness and bubbly personality. I highly recommend this establishment. A night to remember! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 💕💕💕 Yvette

I had the chance to go on a mother/daughter date to Sophia's and got a great history lesson on the Ivey's Hotel, its transition to a restaurant, hotel and living space while at the bar for a drink before getting seated. We tried the surf and turf which was amazing, the sliders and the three piece crème brûlée (cookies and cream for the WIN!) paired with a wonderful red blend. We even got to go check out The Library, a private, guest space that would be perfect for a small dinner party or gathering. I look forward to taking my friends and visitors here!

Never a bad experience when visiting The Workman’s Friend! The aesthetic and vibe are inviting; service is always good. And the food 🧑‍🍳😘💋 chefs kiss! Please try the Mac and cheese - no regrets EVER! …. Says everyone everywhere 😋

Workman's friend was very dark - great if you want some privacy, or peace and quiet, perhaps not great if you want to socialize with friends or focus on interacting with others. This is definitely the type of place I'd go after a long day at work or if I want to focus on my own thoughts.

We weren't sure what to expect when we just happened to be in the area, but we were looking for something different. After reading a few reviews, we decided to give The Workman's Friend a try—and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting—exactly what we were looking for. The service was excellent, and the food was absolutely fabulous. The smoked salmon appetizer alone is worth coming back for! The autumn salad and vegan chili were also fantastic. There are several other tempting items on the menu, so we’re sure we’ll be visiting again. Highly recommend!
Keith P — Google review
Drinks were pretty good, atmosphere was chill but also slow (it wasn’t a weekend). It took a bit to get our drinks despite it not being crowded. Our server was nice but seemed annoyed when more people would show for our group and then rushed to get us to close out because she was off. Definitely understandable and we did close out but all that rush was for her to go sit at the bar herself… I’d recommend this place but maybe not at night on a weekday lol

Best Guinness pour I've had in The States, and I've had a lot here! Tasted just like Ireland, and the vegan curry was amazing as well and full of flavor! I will say it again - BEST POUR!!! My new favorite pub in Charlotte.

Not a bad little spot for a quick morning bite to eat. This was our first go at an Irish pub & food bar. The atmosphere was very laid back and dark when we arrived “they had just opened” but very clean and neat. We were greeted and seated right away. Our waitress was amazing and very knowledgeable of any and all questions we had. I wasn’t disappointed in the food by any means, just hit my taste buds a little different than usual. I’d definitely go back to try their lunch menu. All in all a great little spot to hang out and chill.

The trout and the chips (fries) are both great. Takes a lot of skill to make a *good* chip using only sea salt, pepper, and vinegar with no other seasoning. The venue is a bit loud but it's a pub so you kinda should expect that.

Bar
All American Pub is a spacious and cozy hangout located on Montford Drive, offering comfort food and cocktails in a rustic-chic setting with a patio and large-screen TVs. The restaurant is known for its delicious chicken wings, especially the Uncle Donnies Famous Blackened Wings which come in various flavors and are available for takeout in different quantities. It's conveniently situated near the light rail and Bank of America stadium, making it an ideal spot for Panthers fans to gather before or after games.
I had the Buffalo chicken dip and wings,it was really good. The food and outdoor sitting area makes for a good date night. They play music which was okay. The location where American Pub is located be prepare to pay for parking in the parking lot near by.
Reka P — Google review
All American Pub provides a average experience for those seeking a casual spot to grab a bite, especially if you've already been drinking and are in a jovial mood. While the waiter service and lack of depth in flavor in its food left something to be desired, the reasonable prices and differing specials they sport everyday make it a decent option, particularly when you're looking for some late-night munchies. Let's start with the positives. The prices were great for the location, making it stand out in the area if your looking for a casual meal at a good price. It's also centrally located, making it a great late night spot to grab some greasy food after a night out with friends. However, the service provided by the waitstaff was average at best. While they were courteous, it was evident that they were either overwhelmed or lacking in efficiency, resulting in longer wait times. When it comes to the burgers, they were good but unfortunately fell short of expectations for a full american experience. While the patties had juiciness and were cooked well, they lacked flavor and the toppings were nothing extraordinary. If you're a burger aficionado, you might find yourself a bit underwhelmed by the offerings. I believe it was best said by my friend at the table that the fries stole the show over everything. However, if you're already in a jovial state, the burgers can still satisfy a craving for something hearty. In summary, All American Pub may not be the top choice for outstanding service or memorable burgers. However, if you're already a little drunk and looking for some late-night sustenance without high expectations, it can be a suitable option. The reasonable prices and greasy food are the main highlights that make this pub worth considering for a casual outing.
Bennett B — Google review
So much potential given the location, the available space, and the patio. The beer was cold, and the tater-tots stole the show. Probably the saddest Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich I've ever had. The wife's Chicken Parmesan was no better. Not bad or gross mind you, but all around meh. Sonny (sp?) was friendly (lunch visit). Jasmine (sp?) was pleasant and kept our beers fresh (afternoon/football visit). Those 2 kept the review from being lower.
Bill M — Google review
Service is terrible. I have tried going twice now and neither time have been served after waiting 20+ minutes and it wasn’t even busy. This most recent time we walked out while the hostess sat on the hostess stand talking with serves after telling us she would bring menus. Disappointing because it has potential to be a good sports bar.
Caleb R — Google review
Food was mid. The beers were cold and decent priced for a bucket of Coors Heavys. Service was ok. It was a ghost town on a Saturday.
James K — Google review
I love All American Pub anyway (as well as ALL the restaurants under the bottlecap group umbrella). When I lived uptown I used to host all my casual business meetings here because of the great atmosphere, food and let's not forget free WiFi. I came here for an exclusive invite-only event today and I was super excited to get to try out the new menu because everything I've had hear has always been great. They definitely knew how to get the party started because the first thing we tried was the Drunken D (Frozen Sunny D with orange vodka). They're usually $8 but $5 every Monday. I can't wait to come back and get more. We were able to try quite a few food items. Pretzel bites with beer cheese, Buffalo chicken quesadillas, spicy teriyaki wings (A....wait for it MAZING), bacon cheeseburger, triple decker club (My second favorite), and a skillet made chocolate chip cookie topped with ice cream and chocolate fudge for dessert. I definitely gained 10 pounds but it was so worth it! I can't wait to come back one Sunday for a game and try a few more things.

It's a great dog friendly spot (outside on the picnic table porch. A great spot to play pool and watch a game.

Not bad. Very college-like atmosphere. Wound up here because the restaurant we were trying to go to had a 1 hour wait. Curly fries came out cold and bland but the chicken tenders were piping hot and there happened to be music bingo (this was Tuesday night around 7pm) which we ended up participating and enjoying. If it weren't for the music bingo, this would've had much less stars. The drinks are pretty good, though.

This place has an awesome low key cozy feel. They have bunch of beers or tap so there is something for everyone. The inside is small, but the atmosphere is awesome. There is also a nice patio outside for warmer days. There is a limited food menu, but what they do offer is awesome. The pizzas are small, but delicious. Free peanuts too. Overall only have good things to say.

Went here on a Wednesday with my girl and found out that have $6 cheese boards and $6 charcuterie, I will for sure be back on Wednesday just for this lol. We got one of each and they were bomb! We also got the beer flight and got to choose 5 beers out of a ton on draft. The ONLY reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because we went back at 945 to order a couple of flatbreads and they said they’re kitchen closed an hour before closing time which is 11… so there were 15 minutes left which I know is enough time to cook a flatbread. Disappointed they closed earlier than they should’ve and we didn’t get to try them this time but will be back for sure and I recommend it!

We had a great time here when we stopped in. The service at the bar was great. We stayed at the beer taps for the local NC beer so we could get flights and our time was well spent. The bartender had great recommendations for beers to try. The tap list is extensive. We'll be back to try more brews and food. Highly recommended if you're in the area and you enjoy a good beer.

I had a great time at this bar! The atmosphere is really inviting—cozy, stylish, and perfect whether you're out with friends or just looking to relax. The bartender and server were both friendly and attentive, making the experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. The food was surprisingly good—better than your typical bar fare—and there's a massive selection of beers to choose from, which was a definite highlight for me. If you're a beer lover, this place won't disappoint. The only downside to an otherwise great visit was Ryan the manager’s attitude. It came off as a bit dismissive and not in line with the great service provided by the rest of the staff. Still, I wouldn’t let that overshadow the overall experience. Even i understand the reason, it wasn't the right approach. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area! Let me know if you'd like to make it more formal, humorous, or tailored to a specific bar.

I arrived shortly after 6 o’clock, just before sunset, to witness the stunning transition from day to night. The atmosphere in the establishment truly came alive. I probably spent a bit too much on drinks, but isn’t that part of the experience? The Old Fashioned cocktails were quite good, although I wasn’t particularly fond of the walnut flavor; it was still acceptable. I would consider ordering it again, but the classic Old Fashioned was perfect. I also tried the sliders, which were delicious, and the accompanying sauce with the French fries was amazing. I would definitely eat there again and highly recommend this rooftop spot if you can get there early—try to grab a good seat next to the fire; it’s fantastic. Additionally, I want to mention that the hostess stand has a sign stating that gratuity is automatically added to all receipts. Many rooftop bars don’t inform you about this upfront, and it’s frustrating to realize later when you leave a large tip. But this place was honest and clear about it—kudos for that!

I really enjoyed the vibes of this spot, from the inside bar to the outside.. it was pretty chill. The food was good, hot and fresh.. the wings were my favorite. The views were immaculate!!! One of the best rooftop bars in Charlotte. The service was quick, consistent, and genuine— so much so I made friends with our server! As for the food and drinks— they’re a little over priced but so worth it. The mojito was very refreshing but strong. Out of all the food here I’d recommend the Mediterranean platter or the sliders bc the veggies were kinda disappointing. But gurlll look at the view!!! And parking is right under the hotel and only like 10 to 15 for over 4 hours.

T and Matt were fantastic hosts. The sweetest guys around. Monday night WWE RAW on the TV and free pool. Super queer friendly. What more can you ask for? Just go here nerd. Edited to add: Why y'all got Matt doing Charlie Work? That baby needs to be playing pool and singin' the blues.

This is a comfortable dive bar with good beer, drink specials, and retro video games available. There is a pool table and dart boards for use as well. Excellent live music was playing last time I was there. No food was available, so we brought our own burgers. The table behind us ordered a pizza from outside. The staff were helpful. There were also two dogs (of customers), on leashes. Great spot for a night out!

Great place. They have Highland Gaelic. The back patio is really nice.

I give this place 2 stars because the event at Hattie’s last night (11/15) “dance or die” is what saved this rating from being 1 star. Everything was great until the bartender gave us grief about not tipping immediately. We grabbed our drinks to make a quick toast and the bartender (white male with mustache wearing a tank top) gave us such grief about “not tipping immediately”. Truly an a-hole moment from him. It almost killed our mood but luckily the music was amazing and brought us back up immediately. We understand bartenders need tips, but don’t assume our actions and be an a-hole and become accusatory about it and make us feel like we’re putting your livelihood at risk.

Dogs have ample space to play both indoors and outdoors, including access to doggie playground equipment. My boys are big fans of Lucky Dog! We’ve been coming to Lucky Dog for 5+ years. I couldn’t imagine them going anywhere else. Their rates are fair & competitive. I travel almost every week for work & the boys stay at Lucky Dog. I know they’re safe and well taken care of. I love the staff & they treat our furkids so well.

If you’re looking for a fun bar to bring your dog to or love on other dogs look no further! My friend and I routinely come here for their drink and dog bath special (tuesdays and thursdays). Staff is always great here and the atmosphere is always fun. Highly recommend!

Great bar for yourself and dog. Drink prices are low and cocktails really good. The dogs are chill and we’ve never had an issue with a dog fight or anything so we prefer it over any dog park! Large patio area, partly covered and plenty of tables. Our go to when we want the fur baby to have a night on the town w us 👌🏾

Absolutely Disgusting – Stay Away for Your Dog’s Health and Your Sanity This place is a nightmare. I don’t even know where to begin—it’s filthy beyond belief. The floors are covered in grime, the outdoor area smells like a sewer, and there’s clearly no cleaning routine to speak of. I genuinely fear this place is a breeding ground for infectious diseases. If you care at all about your dog’s health, do NOT bring them here. To make matters worse, the staff is incredibly unprofessional and downright intrusive. I brought a sealed water bottle that I needed for taking my medication, and some woman with blue hair—who seemed more interested in power-tripping than doing any actual work—asked to smell it. Let that sink in: she literally asked to sniff my bottle like I was trying to smuggle in contraband. It was embarrassing, unnecessary, and honestly pathetic. People like her, with no common sense and even less respect, have no business working anywhere near the public—let alone around animals. This place is a health hazard, a customer service disaster, and just an all-around disgrace. Save yourself and your dog the risk and stay far, far away.

Lucky Dog Bark & Brew in Charlotte is the ultimate hangout for dogs and dog people. This unique spot combines a dog park with a full-service bar, Indoor and outdoor play areas provide a lot of space for dogs to socialize and play (although mine just hang with me) while you get a drink. We have lived a lot of places and this bar is very unique.

I called to schedule my dog for boarding and was requested to bring him in for a free evaluation which I appreciated that they did that. After 4 hours of free fun and playing, he passed and was accepted! The process to get the boarding scheduled and what to expect was quick and easy all online. Hope he is allowed back after next week, up to him now.

I would be weary of this daycare.. I have an almost 6 month old pup who really doesn't like being alone during the day, so I started looking around for a daycare we could try out, as we've been really trying to socialize her more. I read a lot of good reviews, their website looked good, and I signed her up for the temperament test which was yesterday. My fiance dropped her off at 6:45am and I picked her up at 1:45pm. After she was dropped off I came across a reddit post where someone posted photos of their dogs with their heads stuck in the kennels, they had soiled themselves and all. The comments were full of other people backing this up, former employees saying they quit within a week because of how they mistreat animals and don't take care of them. Saying most of this started last year or so after change of ownership. Some people saying their dogs had wounds or illnesses. I immediately felt sick and regretted leaving her there. They don't have cameras either. So when I picked her up I started asking questions about the routine, they only get probably 3-4 hours of play and the rest is spent in a kennel. I didn't see any toys in the yards, and it looked more like a dog pound in the back than a daycare. None of these dogs seemed at peace, barking and trying to escape. There had to have been 60+ dogs and I only saw four workers. I'm not sure if they didn't feed her, or if she was just too stressed to eat but she seemed anxious to get in the car and leave. They told both my fiance and I she would receive her report card/notes from her temperament test around 2pm which I never received. I called four times and finally reached someone, who told me they don't have a report card for her. All over bad vibes and my baby will not be returning

This was a fun place to hang out, bring your dogs and get a good drink, named after dogs, or beer. You can sit in with the dogs playing or sit outside the play area and let them run around on their own. There is also a fun outdoor area in good weather.

Hoppin' Charlotte is a trailblazer in the local bar scene, being the city's first self-serve taproom. This innovative venue boasts an impressive array of over 60 taps featuring beers, wines, ciders, and even kombucha. With a strong emphasis on local brews from favorites like The Olde Mecklenburg Brewery and The Unknown Brewing Company, Hoppin' also showcases regional and national selections to cater to diverse palates.
We used to go to Hoppin’ in grad school in the late 2010s, right around when they first opened - and it truly felt like a one-of-a-kind experience at the time. The self-pour tap wall, lively atmosphere, and awesome food trucks made it such a fun and unique place to hang out. We loved relaxing on the patio with our dogs, trivia nights or live music, and just soaking in the good vibes. It quickly became a favorite weekend spot and still brings back great memories.

A cool concept, but the staff was very unhelpful. Someone stole our coats off one of the chairs upstairs and no one was willing or available to help find them, even though there are cameras and everything up there. The phone number we were given when we asked for a manager or someone who can help was not responsive.

Cool place for a good beer or drink. The atmosphere is upbeat and fun. Great selection of drinks and good music. The highlight for me was the K Loco food truck. The birria tacos are phenomenal. We will definitely visit again when we come back to Charlotte

Super cool vibes and excellent customer service. You get a wristband to track your beer and alcohol purchases. There was a delicious food truck out back. The chicken bowl and loaded fries were on point. There was live DJ and they played some great music. We brought our 2 daughters and the gentleman that checked us in went above and beyond and brought them over some sour patch kids. Modelos were on sale for $2. We would definitely come back again the next time we are in Charlotte. It’s a really cool concept.

Several taps, but only a couple of beers I wanted to try. Considering the number of outstanding breweries in the region, I was surprised not to see more rare or unique offerings. Vibe was also weird. We went around 6pm on a weeknight, and there was a DJ blasting loud club music (and the place was empty). Didn't fit what youd expect from a beer-focused establishment.
Josh M — Google review
It’s a cool bar and stuff but lately I realized they been forcing people to pay extra for tips. Don’t get me wrong, I did see the sign that said “if you leave without closing the tab, it will be automatically 20% gratuity”. So I was trying to close it personally with the host but she kept forcing me to drop it in the box that “automatically charging 20% extra”. And said it’s the store policy?? It’s supposed to be mandatory, since it was a busy night and I got ignored for most of the time. Which I wasn’t bothered by much but I don’t think it was worth what I get charged extra for. If somehow Hoppin automatically charging 20% extra, please have the sign more exposed. So I don’t have to come in and get crappy services because tips already included anyway.

Great Vibes. Pour your own beer. Wrist band system is easy and fast. Logan up front made it easy. 10/10 would come again.

I’ve been able to DJ here a couple of times and the atmosphere, the staff, and the crowd are always very pleasant! They have a great selection of beers on tap and the mix drinks are good as well! There’s always a great DJ on the scene as well to keep you moving and plenty of tvs to watch sports.

Salud Beer Shop is a popular beer garden in the Noda area of San Francisco. It features over 250 beers from all over the world, as well as foodoptions like Mexican Street tacos.
Salud Beer Shop, nestled in the NoDa neighborhood. This joint is a beer lover’s paradise, serving up brews by the can and tap, wine, and they even have non-alcoholic options for those taking it easy. With seating for 5 at the bar and about 25 in the dining area, it’s cozy, intimate, and perfect for catching up with friends or making new ones. When I strolled in, the TVs were buzzing with the excitement of the Euro soccer game, making it the ideal spot to kick back and enjoy a pint and a pizza. Parking? No worries there! Just a hop, skip, and a jump to a public parking garage that’ll set you back $5 an hour. Not too shabby for NoDa. The menu at Salud is short but sweet, featuring pizza, meatballs, salads, and a couple of sandwiches. But let’s be real—I came here for the pizza, based on rave reviews from the local foodies. They’ve got a killer weekday lunch special: a cheese, margarita, or pepperoni pizza and 4 wings for a cool $15. Can’t beat that deal! They offer 11 different 12-inch wood-fired pizzas, with vegan cheese available for those plant-based pals. I asked the bartender for his top pick, and he steered me towards the “El Gordo.” This pie comes loaded with house red sauce, mozzarella, a dollop of ricotta, thin slices of meatball, salami, basil leaves, EVOO, sea salt, and a drizzle of house-made hot honey. The “El Gordo” arrived fresh out of the oven, piping hot and looking like a million bucks. Each slice was a work of art, with a slice of salami, a thin slice of meatball, a dollop of ricotta, basil leaves, and a drizzle of hot honey. If I had one tiny critique, it would be that the meatball could’ve been a bit more generous. One small sliver per slice left me wanting more of that meaty goodness. The red sauce was on point—sweet, just the way I like it. The mozzarella was plentiful, maybe even a bit too plentiful, as it turned the crust a bit greasy and soggy. And while the hot honey was a nice touch, I wish there had been more of it to really amp up the flavor. The crust itself was on the softer side, so if you’re a fan of a crispier bite, I’d recommend asking them to cook it a bit longer. All in all, Salud Beer Shop is definitely a spot I’d return to, especially with a friend to share a pie and some wings. And if you’re a beer connoisseur, this place should be on your must-visit list.

Charlotte is NOT known for its pizza but when you find a great place that its known mainly for their beer, wine and coffee, the foodie in you becomes super curious. My curiosity doesnt always favor but in Salud it always does. Their pizza is anything but typical. I recently went and tried two other pies rather than my typical tenderoni (pepperoni) but glad I got out of my comfort zone. Their service is friendly and the location is prime. Down stairs is their bottle shop where you can order and enjoy just the same as the upstairs typically known for their coffee however also has beers on tap and wine. I personally prefer to sit out on their small side porch if weather permits but the upstairs is great with all the comfy seating! Cheers~

We sat at the bar downstairs to get a pint prior to a show at the Evening Muse. I got a Czech Pilsner side pour which was awesome. If you like trying different type of beers this is your place. The food upstairs is awesome.

Simply the best. Better than all the rest. I’m told they will have their license back in 2 weeks (as of mid August). The owners are great ppl I have met many times. I know they will get their business with the state resolved and this gem will continue to thrive.

Honestly, I just came here to pass the time while we waited for another bar to open up down the street. When I arrived with my friends it was VERY quiet and we kind of felt awkward when we arrived just because of how quiet it was. There was no music at all. They have a big open floor plan with plenty of seat options to choose from. From regular dining, it is tabled to a more lounge couch, sofa style. Their decorations were chic and modern, and they also had merchandise if you wanted to buy something. The only thing off about the place was that they didn't have music playing at all and it wasn't until about an Hr later when we realized they turned the music on so the vibe instantly changed after. We didn't stay too long. Just ordered a glass of wine, and that's it. I definitely would come back, though again. It seems like a cool spot to chill at if you don't feel like walking far.

Not only was this pizza delicious, but Jenna was awesome! After multiple, epically ridiculous mistakes from DoorDash (where both myself and the restaurant got screwed over), she went incredibly above and beyond to make sure we got our pizza. She was just so genuine and kind and patient. I would highly recommend this place for so many reasons, but she is the main one. :)

If you're looking for a vibrant spot to unwind while soaking in stunning views of Uptown Charlotte, look no further than City Lights Rooftop. It's the perfect destination to enjoy craft cocktails and classic bar bites as you revel in the lively atmosphere created by a DJ spinning tunes.
I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day and even though it was raining, it was beautiful. The cocktails were good and strong lol The food was delicious and we were greeted immediately. I can't wait to experience this place again when we can seat on the outside and enjoy the view of uptown Charlotte

It was a quiet Saturday evening on the rooftop. Everyone visibly was there to relax. My drink was good and the view nice. My only critique is that the machine systems on the rooftop, maybe the ac or heating, was a little loud and constricts the mood. They cover it with a greenery surrounding to block it from view. The location is also a little further from uptown. Overall, still nice to check out.

The view was beautiful, but I did not enjoy my drink, I ordered a Mojito and the taste was not it. The sliders I ordered were good, I was not crazy about the calamari. The music was so chill. It was a relaxing experience for me.

This was one disappointing evening. I had to rewrite this one: My wife had ONE drink. It caused her vomiting and a severe headache. I don't know what type of liquor these folks were using but it's definitely NOT top shelf. Two drinks, no food to order(at the time), horrible service, for $35??? Save your money, go to FAHRENHEIT.
Norman T — Google review
The espresso martini appeared to be a premade mix which for $18 is wild. The DJ was not lit. The view is nice but was not feeling the quiet/boring vibe of the place. Place could be much more enjoyable if they played better music.
Ben P — Google review
This was my first time coming here. The views of the city were great and I liked the deck/patio outside. The only downers of this place and holding it back from a higher review was that the bartending service really was not great. The bar area wasn’t that busy, yet I was still struggling to get the attention of the bartenders. There was no menu to look at for pricing or just to see what was an option to order for drinks. Pricing seemed a little high for what they were giving as well. On top of it all there was a funky smell that smelled like the back dish area of a restaurant kitchen.
A A — Google review
4 star for the views. Nestled at the top of Le Meridian and Sheridan hotels, this is a scenic gem with a large space. I went during a week day, so I am unsure if there is music on the weekends. The food was ok. The menu is limited. Drinks are good. Service is ok. The atmosphere is relaxing. It is a great space to have light bites, drinks, and conversation. The biggest issue is navigating the parking lot maze of the hotel (valet wasn't available) to get to Le Meridien, take the elevator to the top floor, then additionally walk up more stairs to the roof top. The bathrooms are located one level below near the elevator.

Lenny Boy Brewing Co. is a prominent microbrewery and tap room situated in Charlotte's South End neighborhood. Established in 2011, it initially focused on producing non-alcoholic kombucha before expanding into certified organic kombucha production. The brewery offers an array of flavorful probiotic drinks such as ginger, beet, strawberry, lavenderade, and blueberry yerba mate.

Beautiful spot to grab a drink with plenty of parking even on busy event nights. The atmosphere is superb. The plants are beautiful and I love the copper tones and warm lighting. Steven and Becca are very helpful and friendly, with lots of knowledge on the beverages with great recommendations. As someone who isn’t jazzed about sours, and prefers pale ales, the sours they have available are enjoyable which speaks volumes about their craft. I enjoy the events they have as well, especially wrestling. Highly recommend this spot for drinks, gatherings or relaxing. I enjoyed working on a small project here. I was not rushed by the associates while working on my drawings while enjoying my beers, either. I think this location elevates the environment with its intentional displays of tasteful plants, and art, and you don’t get that with a lot of breweries these days. Some breweries are very rugged and bare bones, and more production focused than presentation focused. Lenny blends their production side / equipment into the building which is subtly visible from the tap room and it adds an industrial touch to the already beautifully balanced interior of the building. They support local art as well, which is admirable.

Nice selection of craft beers. Had a sour and hazy ipa, both great. Just a few things to eat but both sandwiches I tried were tasty. It was too hot outside to sit but the inside area had a nice family friendly vibe

Friendly staff, sweet indoor space with hanging plants and plenty of outdoor space as well. A top notch brewery experience! The beer experience was great as well, I had a belgian trippel, as well as a sour, and both were crisp, satisfying and enjoyable to consume. They are also somewhat dog friendly (dogs allowed outside, with a gate kind of like a dog park).

Great beers with friends here. Staff is phenomenal. Lenny boy is the next big brewery to come out of Charlotte. Darts and corn hole and boardgames. If you don't like beer they have a variety of non alcoholic kombucha. The food truck that serves here changes from time to time. Pretty big location. They used to allow dogs inside but unfortunately it's outside only now.

Fantastic. Lenny Boy may just be the best Kombucha in the world. The experience is wonderful because the staff is so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The art work all over the walls is really intriguing. Oh and they have a plant show and a artist marketplace... the food is simple but really good.

Jeff's Bucket Shop is a lively joint that offers a variety of appetizers and pub grub, along with an extensive selection of karaoke tunes. Open until 2 a.m. every day, it promises a hilariously good time for those in the mood for some karaoke. It's the perfect place to unleash your inner star, whether you're a natural performer or need some liquid courage.
Cramped, very sweet staff. Down to earth people. Older crowd (30s) but good vibes, easy to meet new people. Tiki bar in the back is the best. A dart board would be sweet. Saturdays are busiest. Only real gripe is how expensive drinks are.
Zach — Google review
Friendly bartenders and relaxed vibe. However, when I go for karaoke, I go to sing. I explained to the KJ that my hearing isn’t the best, so I needed to know what song was before mine so that I can be ready. I came up when the song that was before mine on the list had been sung to be told I was bumped because other people had tipped him to move up the list. I was lucky to get my one song and I find this policy to be extremely rude. The bar is also way too packed and very limited seating. Went once and I will not be back.
Leigh K — Google review
If you want to do karaoke be prepared to pay at least $20. The whole place is pay to play. The manager will skip the line at least 4 times to scream heavy metal while you wait 3+ hours for your turn that never arrives.

Weird vibes in there, bartender was not the most competent. Their karaoke methodology seems antiquated. The staff was nice though and we did get to sing after a wait.
CRAB C — Google review
⚠️NOT SAFE, WOMEN BE CAREFUL⚠️ After a few good experiences at Jeff’s, I decided to come back with a group of friends. It was over crowded with poor music choices- however, not the issues at hand. My issue is that when I excused myself to go to the bathroom, the door did not lock. Because of this, I had my friend hold the door for me. While in the restroom, someone nearly busted the door down trying to get in- which they almost did because as I mentioned, the bathroom door would not lock! When we came out of the restroom, which we were in long enough for me to use and get out asap, we were met by a rude security man saying that we had to leave. I understand that multiple people should not be in the bathroom at the same time and for good reason- but even after trying to explain the situation the man was very rude and said he did not tolerate this behavior and that we had to go. As my friend had said- if they were not there with me, it could have been anyone trying to get into that bathroom- and they would have been able to. My intuition told me to take a friend and I am glad that I did. I can only imagine what could have happened to me, or any other woman, using that restroom by themselves if someone really wanted in. I went and told my other friends what had happened and we left. The only friendly staff person we encountered all night was the taller bouncer who checked IDs as we came in. Again, I respect rules and understand that they are in place for a reason, but I was humiliated twice to almost be walked in on while using the restroom and then again when we were treated so rudely after trying to explain the situation. Ladies- this is not a safe place to come for a girls night, or even in general, especially if the doors to the restrooms do not lock. I had loved coming to Jeff’s in the past for the fun atmosphere and dive-bar vibe, but after that night I will never be back. This is not a safe environment and the staff is very rude. To the staff and management at Jeff’s: please do better.

Wowzer!! We went down the steps and stumbled upon this place and we had a damn good rocking time in this place. The vibes, energy, and people were phenomenal. The drinks were great, the bartenders were very friendly and attentive. We just found a new hang out.

AVOID at all costs! My friend was assaulted by a regular who claimed he worked at the bar. The bouncer saw this "regular" push my friend at the top of the stairs. It is absolutely unacceptable that the bouncer did not 86 this person at that moment and ban him for assault. The bouncer did absolutely nothing and continued to talk to the assailant. We were waiting for an Uber and the assailant continued harassing us as we were waiting. Before things escalated, another friend asked the bartender to intervene and tell the regular to leave my friends alone but she "didn't want to get involved" because the guy is a regular. Poorly run, poorly managed, and I would not feel safe if I chose to come here again.

Samuel is an amazing bartender!!! The drinks are amazing! I order old fashioned 's from around the country, and this is amongst top 5 I've had.....hands down....

Such a great bar with such great service! Samuel was wonderful and made me a great mocktail and my husband got a smoked Manhattan which he loved!

The Punch Room is an intimate and luxurious bar located on the 15th floor of The Ritz-Carlton, offering a sophisticated atmosphere with only 37 seats. It's described as a glamorous spot for craft cocktails and hushed tones, making it perfect for those who prefer high-concept punches and signature drinks over loud party scenes.
Such a great find. This place is sleek, sophisticated with a speak easy vibe. I felt like I found a secret treasure in the heart of Uptown. My husband and I decided to stop into the Punch Room for a cocktail and appetizer. The host at the front door was inviting, friendly and welcoming. Kel our mixologist was incredible. He greeted us with a delicious punch sample for me and a mock-tail for my husband! We ordered a charcuterie and fois gras and they were both perfection. This place is a perfect way to start a date night or even make an evening out of it. I cannot wait to go back!

Fantastic spot. High quality drinks, great cool atmosphere, great conversation with the mixologist. Would recommend

Bob and Larry are cocktail masters. One of my favorite cocktail bars in Charlotte, and I try to frequent it as often as I get into town. Bob Peters has put this bar on the map. Walk up to the bar and take a seat (actually, you should be seated anywhere in the bar), and enjoy a tasting of the daily punch. Peruse the cocktail book, and try one of their seasonal offerings or put your fate in the hands of these wizards.

What started out as a great night end very poorly. We started downstairs at the bar and went upstairs to the punch room because of the recommendation of the bartender providence. First off the hostess was not at her stand, and we had to wait to get in. While Chelsi and Kelly were great servers when I went to take a smoke and come back. I was unable to get in once again. Once the hostess came back she literally made me wait to get in even though she told me she knew I had already been in and I had people waiting on me. Once I was let back in I informed Chelsi of what transpired and the manager Kevin came over to speak to me. After being questioned by the manager he asked me if I wanted her to be fired which I responded no she just needs to be trained properly. He gave several excuses of why she couldn’t let me in one being that she didn’t have her key which I replied that could have been communicated and there not be a problem but she didn’t. The manager continued to approach me several times even after I told him there was no way to make this right. I eventually ended up leaving and the manager followed me to the elevator. Definitely won’t ever be going back.

Elegant and intimate setting. A great place to go for a nicely crafted cocktail. Bob Peters the head mixologist is top class and can craft a perfectly fitting drink for you based on a few of your preferences. Highly recommend, enjoyed the experience.

Love this place. Had a private party here not too long ago...the staff was extraordinarily friendly and made us feel special. Incredible drinks by the mixologist, a beautiful space nice enough to be in any world class city and fantastic food. What more could anyone want? I would recommend to anyone looking for a classy night out.

Always a pleasure coming to the Punch Room. Drinks are always amazing, of course. Some may think it's pricey, but I promise the drinks are well worth it. I would suggest you at least visit and try 1 drink once in your lifetime. The ambiance is ahhhh-mazing. The complimentary punch is always a plus and it's always delicious. Bob is an awesome bartender.

Without a doubt, the nicest and classiest place in charlotte. Beautiful space. They limit who they let in, so it’s quiet and private. Feels very sophisticated. The food is impeccable and the mixologist is at the top of the list. Amazing date place or if the spot to go if you want to impress a visitor!
