Tacun is a great place to go for Mexican cuisine in Cancun. The food is consistently good, and the service is always excellent. The atmosphere is informal and friendly, perfect for when you just want some good Mexican food without all of the fuss.
We stopped for lunch and it was nothing short of our amazing. I did the food happy dance with every bite. The service was friendly, genuine, and it just felt like home. We ordered chicken enchiladas, tacos de pastor, queso fandido, and had some Pacifico cervesas. If you want fine dining this is not for you. If you’re looking for something that supports locals and they appreciate you being there….this the spot.
Josh E — Google review
Service is good and stuff were friendly. But food wasn’t good. I ordered chicken and fish taco. Neither of them were good. They even look the same. Only fish had some weird taste, but I was fine afterwards so it’s okay.
Natalie M — Google review
The food was great. The server gave great recommendations. The prices were reasonable. It is a mom and pop cafe on the side of the road with outdoor seating so don’t expect a luxurious atmosphere and you will enjoy your meal.
Michelle W — Google review
This was a wonderful family friendly find. The food was fabulous and cooked to order. They catered for locals and tourists and it was nice to mix and see locals eating here. Parking was very easy right out front and tables were rearrange to make perfect table sizes for each group. Very reasonably priced and a good menu, although not everything was available, this included things we see as routine like chips. But it proved everything was fresh.
Mandy Q — Google review
We got the recommendation from a local. It’s a small restaurant with a couple of tables and definitively does not feel like a tourist trap. We ordered the beef and pastor tacos and mixed enchiladas. The tacos were good but I would not recommend the enchiladas - they were completely soggy and the flavor was off. All in all, good value for money and worth a stop for tacos.
Mladen P — Google review
Great family run restaurant . The service we got was so warm and inviting and we felt at home. The food was very good and had a more authentic feel than other places. Everything we ordered was good and their drinks were awesome . Try the fresh juices especially the melon. We will return again. Place is up the road from the main mall area. Easy to walk to from our hotel .

This is a good restaurant, I recommend it. The shrimp were tasty! The prices are great.

We were sick of the all-inclusive breakfast and asked our cab driver to take us somewhere with good food that isn't a tourist trap. Chilaquiles were bomb. Salsa was delish. My wife 2 kids and I had a nice non-bouji breakfast for $35 USD. The lady was wonderful my kid was melting down and she offered to sit with him and watched cocomelon so we could enjoy our food.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Cancun, Puerto Madero is a culinary treasure that perfectly blends an informal yet sophisticated ambiance with the enchanting warmth of Caribbean vibes. This restaurant invites guests to indulge in a delightful dining experience, featuring an impressive menu filled with premium meats, fresh fish, seafood, and succulent lobster—all expertly prepared on their exclusive Charcoal Grill.
Having been to Cancun many times, this was my first time trying this place, and I have to say—wow. The restaurant is spacious, with warm and beautifully designed decor. The customer service is exceptional, truly top-notch. They also offer a dedicated smoking area, where you can enjoy a nice cigar at the end of your meal—a classic and rare indulgence. The wine selection is outstanding, the meat cuts we ordered were perfectly prepared, and the dessert was absolutely out of this world. I highly recommend visiting at sunset for a relaxed, unhurried evening. Totally recommend it!

Очень вкусно ! Delicioso!! It is 20 out of 10!!!! We picked the place for my Birthday! And it was an amazing choice ! Delicious food, good drinks. Atmosphere is stunning! The view, the stuff , the flavors! Recommend 100% Muchísimas gracias por todo! Los mejores en área!

We went to this restaurant when we were starving. The marketing that I saw at the airport was spectacular. The place is very nice, near to the ocean. The service spectacular and great atmosphere. The food was good, not wow but good. We ordered octopus with shrimps, provoleta cheese, natural oysters and Rockefeller oysters. After that we decided to eat some meat, Arrachera. I have to emphasize that the food was good like I said, but the meat was we incredible. Tender, great flavor and perfectly cooked. You need to try here the meat and the Rockefeller oysters. A place to come when you are around.

Puerto Madero offered a stunning view which enhanced my dining experience tenfold. I was able to take in the beautiful sunset as I dined. Ordered Razor Clams to start, they were delicious. Antonio was my server. Not only he helped me hand pick a perfect size catch of the day for entrée, he also made the best Lychee Martini. Grilled fish was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor. It was flaky and tender, the roasted vegetables were equally impressive. I enjoyed this exquisite meal from start to finish. Before closing the check, manager Rodrigo came check on me to making sure a flawless service was delivered. Thank you. Wouldn't hesitate to return. Highly recommend.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner last night. Our server Miguel was so attentive, made the best dirty martini I've ever had table side! The view and atmosphere were stunning but so comfortable. The food OMG. Table side Cesar, whole fish of the day and surf and turf. The Carajillo and Irish coffee were to die for. Can't wait for our trip next year

Get the sea bass and the grilled octopus, you won't regret it. The folks took good care of us on our first time. Food and Service was top notch.
Jamz Y — Google review
Absolutely top-notch — every single time. Must-try dishes: the carpaccio de marlin ahumado, the rich and flavorful beef broth, and the incredible mar y tierra board with tender beef and succulent bay lobster tails. The tableside Caesar salad is an experience in itself — perfectly balanced and freshly made before your eyes — and the crêpes Suzette are the grand finale, flambéed to perfection right at your table. Everything is simply A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Don’t miss the chance to order a bandera: a festive trio featuring tequila, sangrita, and lime juice — the perfect way to complete a flawless meal.

Greek restaurant
Ilios is a stunning Greek restaurant situated on Nichupte Lagoon in Cancun's Hotel Zone. The contemporary concept of the restaurant offers authentic Mediterranean flavors alongside spectacular decor and lively entertainment including DJ music, dancers, and plate breaking. The friendly staff serves a variety of Greek favorites such as spinach pies, lamb skewers, eggplant chips, baked octopus, and rack of lamb.
This restaurant is a solid choice for a night out. The food was quite good, with a nice variety of dishes to choose from. What sets the place apart is the show. It was a very entertaining and well-produced performance that added a lot to the dining experience. The atmosphere felt vibrant and was a major plus. Overall, we really enjoyed our time and would recommend it for anyone seeking a dinner with a memorable show.
Alon B — Google review
This is an excellent place to go to have great ambiance, service, and delicious food. The restaurant is right on the water with a beautiful view of the lagoon. We went earlier in the evening hoping to catch the sunset but a thunderstorm rolled in. We recommend getting to the restaurant around 7/7:30 since the night time shows do not start until 8:30. We ordered the tuna sashimi and giant grilled prawns as starters. If you love raw tuna and olive tapenade the sashimi is the perfect starter for you. The grilled prawns come with a nice sauce and cucumber salad. For our mains we ordered the rack of lamb, the whole salt baked Branzino with sides of shisito peppers and arugula salad. The fish was perfectly baked and super tender, with such great flavor from the dressing they add table side. The lamb was also very tender with the right amount of seasoning. Make sure to save room for dessert because we recommend the flourless chocolate cake and the cheesecake! Overall such a great meal and such a beautiful atmosphere. You are expected to pay a lot more for the meals and services.

Our evening at Ilios Greek Restaurant in Playa del Carmen was absolutely unforgettable! 🌿🇬🇷 From the moment we made our reservation, everything was smooth and professional. The restaurant’s beautiful décor and lively Mediterranean vibe made us feel like we were dining in Greece itself. The live music was excellent — full of energy and authenticity — setting the perfect mood for the evening. The entertainment was incredible, from the talented belly dancer to the joyful “Opa!” dance, where even our amazing waitress Axel joined in with so much enthusiasm! She got the whole crowd involved — dancing, clapping, and celebrating together. The energy was contagious, and the plate-breaking tradition made the night even more fun and unforgettable. Axel truly deserves special recognition — she was so active, friendly, and full of life, making sure every moment felt special. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — and the dessert was absolutely delicious. The best part was when my daughter got to help make the ice cream — it was such a fun and interactive experience that made the evening even more memorable for our family. If you’re in Playa del Carmen, Ilios is a must-visit — an unforgettable mix of incredible food, warm hospitality, live music, and joyful entertainment. Opa! 💙✨

This experience was beyond amazing! The service, the food, the ambiance was 20/10! Both of our waiters, Aaron and Paul were exceptional. From the moment we were seated, they took care of us and made sure we had an exceptional experience! They were kind, attentive and communicative to our every need. You definitely need to come here. You won’t regret it!

We booked a table at this restaurant for a 40th birthday celebration. We were served by Barrios and Angel, from start to finish all waiters were well mannered and attentive. They had good knowledge of both drinks and food menu, and immediately asked about dietary requirements. They also bought out a cake with sparklers which made the dining experience extra special. The food and drinks were excellent, and our experience at Ilios has been like no other in the most positive way.
M — Google review
Free valet parking, you can tip could be 3usd or 50 peso. Super nice decor! You can not take any food or drink inside even bottled water. Server is weird when she skips your question that means something is fishy for example she would tell you do you want a side but not telling you it is extra charge even when ask does it comes with side. Free bread and it is ok. Off season night seems pretty empty, suggest to come during some event of peak season as you probably would see a lot more actions and stuff such as special food coming out on a tray . And nice sunset view right from the restaurant. restaurant itself is open air has no ac but no bugs or mosquito. Takes cash or credit card, pos machine will be bring to you for card and you can put tip on the charge on pos.
Kev C — Google review
Ilios was the most fun and energetic dinner of our trip. The live show, music, and plate breaking added a unique twist, and the vibe, décor, and overall energy were top notch. Service from Avi and the team was excellent. I appreciated his honesty when I asked about the salt fish. He recommended the Branzino with Fasolada instead, and I’m glad he did. The fish was perfectly cooked and flavorful. We started with the tuna sashimi and lobster ceviche. The ceviche was the standout. I also ordered the Hades drink and it was one of my favorite mocktails I’ve tried. For dessert, I ordered the Sokolatina. I really enjoyed the cake, though I wasn’t a huge fan of the ice cream it came with. Only downside: the open air layout meant it was pretty warm during dinner, and unfortunately, a table near us began smoking, with the breeze pushing it our way.

The most aesthetic and The most delicious restaurant in Cancun!!!! llios just changed a whole my “Cancun” experience!! All employees are genuinely nice and attentive yet tho Abi / Axel / Donovan know what customer service is. I think they are presenting not only friendly also luxurious / personalized service. They catch the tiny details to make sure our visit was comfortable! Not to mention, the restaurant manger is also a good example of this restaurant. He was talking to Individual guests welcoming and wishing them happy vacation!!!! If you are in Cancun!! This place is the must visit location!!!! I do not usually finish dishes but every single dish was empty out cause it was beyond good.

Steak house
Restaurant
Divina Carne Brazilian Steakhouse is dedicated to providing top-quality cuisine without compromising on flavor. Their menu has been carefully crafted to satisfy even the most discerning taste buds, ensuring a unique dining experience. The Barra Divina, a part of the restaurant, features an extensive selection of fresh salads, fruits and vegetables, both hot and cold dishes, cheeses, and delectable charcuterie.
This is by far one of the best beef restaurants in Cancun. A bit overpriced but is totally worth it. This place was amazing. The steaks were perfectly well executed, and the desserts are delicious. Nice atmosphere and good service.

Came for the buffet. The food exceeded my expectations. It’s not exactly budget friendly but it’s also not outrageous. This is a must at least one time. I am not a fan of tipping… so I usually don’t… but I wanted to at this place. For those that know me… that says a lot.

We went on a Friday night and received spectacular service, this is the best food I've had in Mexico, the staff was very attentive of dietary restrictions / allergies. Everything was fresh and delicious. And it did not upset my stomach like most other buffet. Fair cost for the superior dining experience you will receive.
Matt — Google review
What a special place!! From beginning to finish everything was perfect. The staff, the food, the service. The host was very nice and friendly, so the waiters. I can't eat gluten, lactose and a few other things but they were so helpful and very knowledgeable about the allergies. (I asked one of the waiter who went to the kitchen, another guy came who works in the kitchen and showed me each item individually that I can have. I've never experienced this attention before.) - It was a relief not to explain what gluten is like other places. The quality of the food is exceptional, all the flavours just soo delicious. At the end of the meal they also made me fresh fruit without chilli as I asked them if it's possible since I don't like chilli on the fruit and they did it without hesitation. I'd would highly recommend this place to anyone!! :)

Extraordinary service, great flavors and definitely great value for the price and offerings. Unlike many similar concept buffet /meat restaurants, Divina Carne surprised us greatly. The building itself is broad, clean simple yet luxury and comfort is in the air. Julio the waiter who attended us from beginning to end started by explaining us the concept the packages and the suggestions. Following his suggestions we started with the meat and then little by little we went to the buffet area and tried some of the very many dishes. Julio the waiter was so right about getting started with the meat because the majority of the people goes straight to the Buffay and serves a lot of those dishes and by the time they have the meat they are already full. Kudos to Julio who recommended us to start on the opposite way.
Sakurako Y — Google review
Certainly I am a big fan of both Divina Carne and Brazilian churrasquerias…I have tried the Brazilian steakhouses in Sao Paulo, NYC, Dubai and San Juan, never disappointed me… During my last visit to Divina Carne in Cancúun, the service was good, friendly gauchos who prepared the meat right on the desired cooking point, the manager who also took care that all the salad bar items were available and the the waiter who was very attentive. Special thanks to Glaucio for showing me his Kitchen and great know-how. Good meat, great salads a nice atomsphere, which maches the vibe of Sunny Cancun.

Great deal overall. Very delicious food and was shock to know that they make their own bread. Their bread is a must try. I had the pleasure to try some of their wine options and I highly recommend them. I strongly suggest you make a reservation and ask Yessi to be your waiter. She takes very good care of your needs and is spot on with the recommendations.

The Surfin Burrito is a laid-back, beachside eatery that offers a relaxed vibe and delicious Mexican burritos and tacos. It's the perfect spot to unwind with your toes in the sand while sipping on tropical cocktails as you watch the sunset over the Caribbean. This tiny bar is open 24 hours a day, making it an ideal pitstop for locals, expats, and tourists alike.
Nice little stand. I love the vibe here and the service was great. I ordered breakfast burrito, coconut shrimps, and fish tacos and ended up loving fish taco the most. The burrito was a bit too soggy for my liking; i can’t say anything about the authenticity of foods here though. The strawberry basil mojito was also better than many other bars in Cancun area. I would recommend thus place for people visiting Cancun
Komson C — Google review
Such a cute little hidden gem with delicious and authentic tacos and burritos. The service was excellent, and the vibe is beachy. Although it’s a small spot, they have a full bar and lots of food choices. Definitely recommend the catch of the day in a taco with cilantro tortillas. The salsa casera is excellent too. The portions are very filling - tacos more than burritos IMO. Jesus and Guatavo were so attentive and even brought us habanero salsa. Definitely a dive worth checking out!

If you come on vacation to Cancun, you absolutely have to try this place! The location is really nice, the staff is very welcoming and kind, I had a great time here. 5 Stars – A Must-Visit Spot in Cancun! The Surfin Burrito is hands-down one of the best hidden gems in Cancun! Espresso bar
Chocolate shop

Natural goods store
Ah Cacao Chocolate Café, established in 2003 in Playa del Carmen, is a haven for chocolate enthusiasts. It offers a wide range of delectable chocolate treats and drinks, perfect for a leisurely afternoon. The café takes pride in Mexico's rich chocolate heritage and features an extensive selection of Mayan criollo chocolate made from Mexican cacao with fruity and nutty flavors.
We were staying near La Isla mall and were looking for a coffee shop other than Starbucks. We found it at Ah Cacao. In fact, after finding it on a second day, we came back each day until we left. The staff was super nice. We always ordered Latte and it was really good. We tried all the desserts, my favorite was brownie, followed by brownie. It’s really good. Chocolate croissants was also good while cheese cake and carrot cake were just okay. Chocolate tamale is different, not my favorite but interesting if you haven’t tried it before. Prices are very reasonable as well, ranging from about $4 to $7 per cod coffee (depending on size) and you can pay by credit card as well. There is also a nice outside seating area and a photo opportunity by the swing. In addition, we also purchased some natural chocolate for presents. Sometimes they have some samples to try but it’s really good. Overall highly recommended.
A T — Google review
I decided to visit after seeing numerous ads on Instagram. The café itself had a cozy atmosphere and was quite crowded. I waited in line to place my order, reviewed the menu, and chose a mocha frappé — since their specialty is cocoa-based drinks — along with a ham and cheese croissant. After paying, the cashier politely offered me a membership and took the time to explain its benefits. I declined, mainly because there were many people waiting behind me. I went upstairs to find a seat and waited for my order to arrive. The ham and cheese croissant was toasted but slightly soggy, with an overly buttery taste that I did not enjoy. The mocha frappé, despite being one of their signature items, was far from extraordinary — a drink I believe could easily be replicated at any café, without the “specialty” label, and at a lower price. What left the worst impression was being asked if I wanted to “add service,” essentially prompting for a tip, much like in a sit-down restaurant. For me, this speaks very poorly of the establishment. Personally, I would not return under any circumstance.

Mexican Chocolate Shop is different and interesting. Chocolate Tamale specially is a unique experience. Their Cafe Americano Frappe was light and refreshing on a warm day but still energizing. The Brownies were OK. Overall good experience and a must visit place in Cancun Hotel Zone.
Hussain R — Google review
This is a great little cafe! The staff are sweet and the prices are decent. The coffee was delish! And there's lots of great chocolate items to look through and buy. Definely check it out!
B E — Google review
Ah Cacao is one of the best coffees that I have ever had! I loved their mochas so much that I actually walked 4 miles every day from my hotel to get one. The quality of the chocolate and coffee beans they use is outstanding! Once you have had Ah Cacao, it will be difficult to drink Starbucks again. They also put art on their drinks, and I loved receiving coffees with panda bears, flowers, and heart shapes. I definitely look forward to returning to Ah Cacao the next time I am in Cancun!
Megan M — Google review
Having just finished dinner we decided to stop by Ah Cacao for some after dinner sweets and drinks. The store had a warm cozy atmosphere with cacao products displayed all around. The staff were incredibly friendly and able to answer any questions we had regarding thier products. The deserts and drinks were delish, though the cacao used has some very prominent fruity notes to it which we weren't expecting. Still, this was a fantastic little place and I definitely recommend giving it a shot.

This is by far the best Chocolate store you can find in the area, tons of flavors, sizes and prices , is a lovely place to have a Coffee (the taste is unbelievable) I will pick the brownie as the best dessert. I recommend to come here in the afternoon (weather and sunset)

The Starbucks of Mexico as it is colloquially known! They have some great chocolate that they will give you free samples of. Also, their Mayan drinking chocolate is not to be missed. The coffee is also way better than Starbucks in my opinion, but their specialty is definitely all around chocolate.

Mediterranean restaurant
Restaurant
Fantino is a high-end restaurant located in Cancun, known for its European-style cuisine and elegant dining room adorned with art nouveau decor. The menu features rich and earthy flavors inspired by the Mediterranean Coast, presented with a contemporary twist. Diners can expect beautifully executed dishes such as Agnolotti stuffed with handcrafted Ricotta and Short Rib with squash Gnocchi.
My fiancée and I had an outstanding dining experience at Fantino. The dining room is beautiful space, reminiscent of a fine-dining establishment in Paris or New York. Our server Carlos and his team were professional, attentive and knowledgeable of the food and drink menus. The food was presentation was wonderful and every dish was outstanding and fresh. The Lobster Risotto was a particular highlight. I highly recommend Fantino for a truly special dining experience.

What an unforgettable overall experience! Magnificent decor and atmosphere. Live piano player added to the overall ambiance. The wait staff was courteous, attentive, and professional and was very helpful to assist me with all of my selections. We had truffle burrata , arugula pear salad, homemade tagliatelle , lobster risotto and warm chocolate fondant. The quality and presentation in each course was impeccable. The tagliatelle was out of this world! We commented to the Maitre D as to the excellence of each course. He shared our comments with the chef , and the chef was kind enough to visit our table to thank us personally for our accolades and appreciation. When dining in Cancun, Fantino is a MUST!
Juxia W — Google review
What an absolutely amazing experience. The food is outstanding and the service and atmosphere are second to none. I loved it so much I went back twice in the same week. I highly recommend the filet as a main course option. Can’t go wrong. The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Again, this is an outstanding experience.

Today, we had the pleasure of dining at Fantino (fine dining) in Cancún. On August 17, we celebrated one of our birthdays by enjoying an amazing, delicious, and perfectly balanced flavors pre fix six course menu, including an exquisite wine selection per dish, and an exceptional service. We highly recommend Fantino as one of the best in Cancún.
Ericka — Google review
Exceptional culinary experience. We dined here 3 out of the 5 nights we stayed in the hotel, and the food and service were impeccable every time. Highly recommend.
Nicholas W — Google review
Cannot recommend this place high enough! We stayed at the Ritz-Carlton specifically after hearing great things about this restaurant and we were not disappointed! We were so impressed after first night dining at Fantino that we returned a second night. The catch of the day and the salmon were phenomenal. The homemade pastas were excellent appetizers and the desserts were amazing! The chocolate fondant cake is well worth the wait. The service was top notch! Adrian, Pedro and Alejandro took excellent care of us and we look forward to seeing them again soon!
M K — Google review
Simply the best dining experience I've had so far anywhere! This place truly is incredible: delicious and innovative tasting menu, incredible presentation and ambience with live piano music. The service is absolutely top notch: extremely attentive, yet unobtrusive, professional yet with personable, with great attention to detail. I could go on and on, but it was simply the best dinner that everyone should experience. If you're staying at the Ritz, you have to go and even if youre not, make a trip here. 10/10 Worth every penny and highly recommended.
Marius — Google review
What a wonderful experience. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the value was tremendous. I highly recommend this place to anyone who stays at the Ritz Carlton Cancun. The staff really went above and beyond, and all the little extra treats that the chef would send out were marvelous. I'm sad that we only went once during our three night stay. We'll be back.

Italian restaurant
The La Troje bar and grill is located in a trendy area of Cancun, serving delicious salads, pasta, crepes, baguettes, pizza, fondues and more. Specialties include the popular Ensalada Margarita (Margarita Salad) with shrimp and asparagus.
Excellent meal! The prices are not cheap but the food is delicious and the portions are huge. 1 pasta plate would easily serve 2 people. I totally recommend you giving it a try given this is a European restaurant with a Mexican twist. I had the crepe and it was better than the original 🤭
Teresa M — Google review
We didn't stay at the hotel, but we ate at the restaurant because it's across the street from Casa Ula, the Air B& B I rented. The food was amazing, but the service was sub-par. It was busy, so there was an extended wait for our food and drinks, which we didn't mind, but I felt the server was disrespectful. My friend, who is Mexican, ordered for us, but the waiter refused to address and serve me directly. I asked for a fork, which she translated to him, but instead of handing it directly to me, he gave it to her. I assumed it was a fluke, but it happened again when I asked for change to cover my bill. I directly handed him 500 MX pesos, and she asked him to change it for me, which he did, but he gave the change to her rather than to me. It was clear that he did not want to do business with me, and there's no other way that I can take it other than disrespectfully. The bartender and host were both very friendly and we all enjoyed our meal! I would never return.
Shani S — Google review
This was our first time dining here while visiting Cancun. Don't be taken back by the looks. The service was maybe a bit off. But the food was spot on. From the appetizer to the main courses, the flavors were great. No veal Parm? Chicken & Salmon seem to be the preference here. But, if Italian food is what you want, you really can't go wrong here. P.S. This is not a hotel. It's a restaurant attached to a residential building.
James D — Google review
Good Italian food served in generous quantities. Always some left to take home.
Roland H — Google review
The food was a good break from the taco, burrito, tostada meals we have been eating. This was definitely NOT authentic Italian food i(f you have ever been to Italy) but it was good! The prices were expensive but typical for the area… Recommend the pizza.
M. B — Google review
I didn't even know this was a hotel or something, I just had a fantastic meal there. I had a really tasty chicken stuffed crepe, and it was basically divine! I have no idea what that green sauce they put it in was but it was REALLY delicious and went with the chicken perfectly.
James H — Google review
This was some of the best pasta I have had, anywhere. The staff were so kind and welcoming even though we were incomprehensible in Spanish. We also got some of their specialty drinks which were incredible and unique. I can't recommend them enough.

Sushi restaurant
Sushi Ken is a Japanese restaurant that offers good value for money and has great promotions. The staff is friendly, and the menu has a good variety of options. The Ika karaage dish is particularly enjoyable. However, it's important to note that they don't serve any alcoholic beverages. If you prefer your sushi with Sake or Asahi, this may be disappointing. Nonetheless, if you're a fan of maki rolls, Sushi Ken is a great choice.
Incredible delicious Sushi and Ramen! If you are in Cancun definitely need to go to one of Ken's Sushi Restaurants. Cheap prices! Super friendly and anticipate stuff. Highly recommend it!

I order menudo I thought in México will be a great flavor 😋 What a disappointment 😞 also I order a beer 🍺 and they offer a michelada style ( small porcion of tamarind paste over a ice 🧊) Beer $55 pesos Micheladas $ 68 So I pay 130 pesos for a unflavored michelada [is a really nice way to stole your money 💰] NEVER BACK AGAIN TO THIS PLACE
Edgar R — Google review
Lovely place, food was so good, it took more time to get the food in the table, but it was worth it. The service is good enough, waitress was nice, you can get a table outside to see the boats and chat with your friends or partner quietly.
César T — Google review
Good value for money. They have great promotions. Friendly staff. Good variety on their menu. The Ika karaage was good. They do not serve any kind of alcoholic beverage though so if you like your sushi with a side of Sake or Asahi you will be dissappointed. Otherwise it's great if you like makis.

Liked this local version of sushi/ramen a lot; delicious. Only downside, no beer, so that’s less than authentic Japanese (where’s the kirin?). Kinda loves the japanese cartoon/spartanish decor

Deli
Deli's by Michel is a small deli known for its great service and products, which are apparently made in their own factory. Customers praise the quality of their rye bread, pastrami, sausages, and sandwiches. Some suggest adding German potato salad or coleslaw to the menu. The Serrano sandwich is particularly recommended for its delicious flavor.

TACO GRILL is a casual dining spot with a relaxed dress code. It's located by the docks and offers a variety of delicious dishes, including shrimp tacos, sizzling steak, Mayan lime soup, fajitas with cheese, and quesadillas. The staff is friendly and attentive, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. The restaurant also offers a wide variety of sauces to complement their dishes.
Walking towards the dock we met the attendant Eric’s and she was so inviting we decided to eat here and was not disappointed. Not sure about the tip at the end of the bill everyone is complaining about but if you enjoyed the food like we did you wouldn’t mind! My shrimp tacos was perfection especially since I rather flour tacos over corn! Everything was perfect down to the sizzling steak perfectly season and very tasty! Thank you, if I’m ever in Cancun I’ll definitely return !
Shanelle V — Google review
Had an amazing time here, just like last year! They moved locations but I love going here, it’s amazing & flavourful food. Skip everywhere else at La Isla and just know you’re going to get great food and great service at Taco Grill. We ordered chorizo & queso tacos as well as pastor (pork & pineapple) tacos with a starter of guacamole, and they NEVER disappoint. Not sure how they have only 3⭐️ because they deserve atleast 4-5⭐️. Server Rodrigo was awesome, never bothering or pushy, we had the other guy last year and he was just as awesome! Good prices on drinks, delicious guacamole, & sweet yummy lemonade. They also give you lots of toppings (onion, cilantro, lime, salsa verde, & spiced sauces) which you don’t even need for the quality of food. You get 4 tacos for $185MXN with lots of meat!
Milana J — Google review
Great service, fantastic tacos and drinks. A little hard to find because the restaurant moved from its original location by the docks. But it is worth looking for. After the 🍸, I was ready for a nap!
Heston W — Google review
We had a voucher for a free drink here so thought we’d try it. Food was ok, nothing special. When it was time for the bill the waiter just came over and stated a price and held out the card machine. He was very reluctant to show us the itemised bill. When we finally got him to show us he’d charged for the supposed free drink and said we didn’t get a free drink. He had also arbitrarily added on 15% service charge for himself that wasn’t stated on the menu or listed on the bill and he never told us, wanting us to then tip on top. Dishonest people and mediocre food. Avoid.
Simon B — Google review
Amazing dinner!! Andres was a great server, very friendly and helpful! Delicious tacos and really good margaritas. Will be coming back!
Faithe P — Google review
The servers are very dishonest. My server, Ricardo, is very crafty old man. He is very good at sweet talking and taking advantage of customers. He charged me more than triple for the price of the food. He was very pushy and also pretending as if he is new and doesn’t know what he is doing. He added tip to my bill without telling me and he also asked me for additional tip as well. I will never eat at this restaurant again.
Abubakarr — Google review
I have only had good experiences here. We usually eat when it is not as busy and the food is great and staff are attentive.
Steven R — Google review
Went in with high expectations left feeling taken and deceived. Our waiter/host, thought, highly of himself, and the establishment. Meal was OK, we've had better and it was definitely over priced. We were very surprised to see that a 20% tip had been added to the bill. There was no mention anywhere on the menu or elsewhere that this was going to be the case. The waiter proceeded to tell us that that tip was for the kitchen and bar staff, and that if we wanted to add a tip for him that was our prerogative. Being who we are we did add extra tip for the waiter as well. However, the real surprise came when we went to pay and he would not accept a credit card. Again no mention anywhere that credit cards were not accepted. He gave us some song and dance that the machine had fallen off the counter yesterday and was broken. If this were truly the case he should have mentioned that before we ordered. The bill came out to almost $150 US. We usually don't carry that kind of cash on us when we go out for the day however, between the three of us were able to scrounge up cash to pay the bill including the extra tip for him. Why we were extremely disappointed and quite honestly angry is that as we were leaving the restaurant we saw the same waiter holding a credit card machine and accepting a credit card from a couple that had been sitting at a table, not far from us. Such blatant deception! My husband wanted to confront him and not wanting to spoil our day even further and risk causing a scene, especially in front of the couple, I encouraged him to let it go, but the experience left a sour taste😡
