A great venue and helpful staff when I lost my wallet. The music was great. The crowd was a bit unfriendly though compared to the London techno scene.

Incredibly overpriced, pretentious place. I was told that it was free to go in and when I’m leaving I’m told it’s 120 reais to pay. Shocking and then I’m followed by security and police who had nothing better to do. Disgraceful men.

Very nice club with great sound system, ventilation and light show. However, we were overcharged when we left - I discussed with the receptionist for a few minutes, she magically reduced our charge for 70 to 20 Reais but still charged more than we actually drank. Not professional!

Don’t expect european techno, you will be disappointed.

I had a good experience here Thursday night. Well organised club with acceptable prices. R$70 for the online ticket, 25 for a redbull and 25 for a gintonic. The music was fine but not the best ever, maybe because it was still “early”. I was there from 1 until 3 but it’s open til 8😤😤😤

The best club in the Brazilian Techno Scene. It was inspired by Watergate club in Berlin, so the lights are mesmerizing. It has its unique sound system that allows you to feel the beat on a whole different level. The lineups are always impressive and the staff is always very attentive. Love that place

We were seated pretty quickly, that’s a nice little bar with a my stage, good speaker, good, lighting, and great service. We did not order food, however just got some drinks . Servers were nice and quick to grab finished drinks and ask us with whatever else we needed.

We went to a tribute to Stevie Wonder, but the singer didn't have the piano on. It was just the show. Very sad. Old people's trap. I went there on a jamming session on a Wednesday or Thursday and it was 10x better. We paid 130 per person in couvert

Very bad management, we bought a show which they mentioned to be start at 10pm but until 1030 there is still not musician ready on the stage and no one ever explaint what was happening ... Mythic place where BB King and other celebrities came and played. I was amazed by the color tones and the decoration ! I arrived quite early, so I was lucky to have the place for myself and have conversations with the owner and staff that I was happy to meet! The shows are great for jazz lovers. I recommend.

One of the best music place for shows, party and dance. But it's pricey. There are cheaper alternative for parking. Take a look around the block and always ask for the closing time before leaving your car.

Nice rooftop to see the whole city of Sao Paulo. Red lights are impossible for pictures but the location is nice. Bring your flash for selfies and pictures.

Went there for a morning coffee and to relax a bit and oh my my what an amazing hotel and rooftop bar/restaurant. The views are amazing and the staff is wonderful. The coffee tasted extra good while taking in the atmosphere and views. Going again at 6 for sunset views and dj music at 8 :)

Came on a Sunday night on a spur of the moment decision. We had our 8 month old baby with us and they were so accommodating and sweet, especially with the baby. I was on a tee shirt and jeans so I asked valet if I was dressed okay. They were so sweet about it and made me feel welcomed. It was a quick dinner. Great view We really liked the salmon and tuna Japanese dishes.

Hello, It is the worst place for a concert that I have been to, the event's organization was awful. They do not respect the concert's time or entrance's time. Likewise, the ticket store was so slow, middle of the street, and the area was too dangerous. Definitely, it is not a place for the quality and punctuality of such a professional and wonderful band as KRISIUN.

Friendly efficient staff within a cool open venue.

The place is nice, good acoustic also the air-conditioning was great. Only problem was the bar, when you buy a combo of beers you must have to take all the combo in one shot.

Main space is very big but layout of room isn't conducive for proper sound. Smoking area upstairs is so tiny it gave me a panic attack and almost made me quit cigs.

It's not the biggest music venue, but all the better for it. A couple of decent bars and a smoking area on the mezzanine. Always had a good time here.

We ordered chicken bites and pork belly, both are side dishes, but were massive, unfortunately the chicken was not cooked and we had to ask for a new one. Nice caipirinhas, I suggest trying cashew fruit one. Our server didn't look too pleased and happy, which always brings down the mood, but overall atmosphere was great, and the duet, that was performing was amazing. Will be back one more time before leaving.

This restaurant is located in one of the busiest intersections in the city center. There are plenty of classic Brazilian appetizers and main courses. The draft beer is pretty good, and there is usually live music in the main hall on the weekends. The shrimp Moqueca was glorious!

Great atmosphere, we were in Sao Paola for 36 hours and was recommended to give this restaurant a try. Food wasn’t that exceptional in my opinion but we enjoyed the live music!

Awesome place to visit. The waitress tia Luiza is a very nice person and gives you hints on how to navigate in the concrete jungle. Pancetta was crisp and yummy accompanied by Brahma's chopp preto.

This place has proved to be very organised, efficient and with great infrastructure. There was no problem before or during the show.

It used to be my favorite place to listen to good live music. I have tried 3 consecutive times going there to eat and listen to nice music. One day it was closed and they told the music started at 19:00 the following day. I go there at the time they suggested and there was no music until 21:00. I was advised to come back the following day at 21:00. I did, only to be rejected as there was a private event and that it would open at midnight. Why didn’t they tell me all of this before? Very frustrating and disappointing.

Exquisite drinks, food, and atmosphere.

A very nice and expensive bar with a great service with exceptional cocktails (one of my favorite Caipirinhas, my favorite Vesper and, so far, The Punctual Dry Martini (Ever!) lives in the house - Call for Bolinha. Call for him right away once you are there), but that is not a good place to be on weekends. The people are just too loud and you can barely hear the music and these people, they are, also, also, also, also flashy. They are mostly there to show off, which means: they are (mostly) not there for the music that keeps playing great. Up until midnight, they play a mix of Bossa Nova, Cool Jazz and Vocal Jazz. After midnight, they go a little faster with the Swing, Bebop and (kind of) Big Band. Personally, I rather stay before midnight to listen to a singer called Lorena (The bands are great too! I am not supposed to forget about them) doing a lower tempo. OK, it is cool to listen to a faster tempo, but eh, I rather stay low in a low light ambient, and mostly of the time I am thinking about my stuff, while I am drinking my juices. Lorena is good. Man, this is for real, she is good, sweet and b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l! However, for over two years now, she has been promoted to sing on weekends and that is the only reason I go there on Friday and Saturday nights. You can definitely find this kind of place around the globe, this is not a local Brazilian type of bar (Google for the Botecos in town, they play the Samba there!), except for the Bossa that was created here, but well, you can even listen to Bossa across the oceans, but if you’re in town, why not? Well, I think you should. Therefore, this is a nice place to go and you will probably have a fun time, even if you are $pending a little something while you are there. Have fun!

Excellent bossa nova nightly. There is a cover charge added to your bill so don’t be surprised. This is a great place to wind-down after a busy workday!

Food was good, but not the best I had. Lovely atmosphere and great views, a really romantic place to spend an evening at. Great service too, apart from a server taking away my unfinished cocktail without asking 🤷‍♀️to add, we went to the bar afterwards and the service went down significantly, no one took our order, no server once looked at our table, we asked one server if he could take a photo of us and he couldn't find 5 seconds to do so... Completely opposite service than in the restaurant. The entertainment were great in both. Piano playing and singing in the bar.

Likely the most refined space in São Paulo. Food is perfect! Changes for dietary restrictions perfect! A waiter is responsible for all orders and follow-ups. It was my daughter's birthday and the panoramic view was stunning! We loved folks properly dressed for that space.

Decent Irish bar right in São Paulo. Great selection of beers and live music upstairs makes it a fun spot, and the staff are super friendly. The atmosphere feels just like being in an authentic Irish pub. The only letdown for me was the food — I tried the fish and chips and couldn’t get past the first bite. That aside, it’s a great bar to hang out, enjoy drinks, and soak in the lively vibe. Definitely worth a visit!

It is a good bar for drinking beer and listen to rock music. It’s normally crowed on weekends. Pros: Good rock band with good songs selection. Good variety of crafted beers. Nice people. Prices are average with other bars on the region. Cons: It is a small bar, the band is on the second floor and it is crowed. They don’t have enough employees to attend when the bar is full. It takes a lot of time to grab beer. Last time I went the air conditioning on the second floor was not working, so it was hot.

I’m so glad I found this place. I wanted to chill on a Sunday and just watch the game. Found it. Cool area neighborhood all the locals are out enjoying dinner with the family friends. Live music played here while you eat and or watch sports all afternoon. Food is good, anything you want to eat pretty much is on the menu. I had the shrimp app..👍🏽 There are bars on every corner here. So if one is full go out to the other or bar hop. 🤗 Really cool intersection of bars in one place.

Amazing place to go for drinks with a group of friends in Vila Madalena. They seem to have live music on weekends and the whole place gets pretty busy so make sure you arrive no later than 8pm to make sure you get a table. I recommend their Filet Mignion Parmegiano. Note that their portions are huge so portion for one will comfortably feed a couple.

We were 3 and ordered the personal feijoada and finger food dish to share, it was totally enough for all of us. There was live music which was nice.

In one hand, it's the only bar we could find that was open until 2am instead of 1am ("open", no kitchen) On the other hand, i paid 171reales for a wine that at most should cost 45, if not 35 🤷🏻‍♀️ Good last minute place to go for a wine and chat. I haven't tried anything else there, so take my opinion with a grain of salt

Arrived at 13:20h for the opening at 14h, we had no reservations. We were the only ones there but at 13:30h the crowd began to arrive. We were seated at 14:15h. Best to make reservations about 2 weeks ahead of time other wise you have to wait minimum 30 minutes. The cocktails are easily some of the best in Brazil if not the best. The food is also great.

It’s a cool and interesting bar at São Paulo downtown. You can enjoy their unique cocktail in old bank vault. We visited there on holiday in April, 2023. They opened from 16:00, but before it, there was long line around 15:40. By the way, we were with our son who is 9 years old. He is kid but he enjoyed there to see old bank vault and their non alcohol cocktail.

This is the place to go for authentic live samba music and rich taste of typical Brazilian dishes. Service however, was disorganised, and management was rude. We went for a birthday celebration, and sadly, we left disappointed. Our Brazilian friends took us and it was embarrassing for them. Luckily, there are other better places.

It is a true brazilian experience! I celebrated my wedding here with around 20 familiy&friends. We stayed in the upper part and were really well serves the whole day. Food was really good also! Music: awesome! My husband family is from argentina and they lived it! Only bad and strange thing is that around 19:00 the bar closes and everyone has to leave and pay to entry again later for the next show - i honestly had never seen something like that before in Vila Madalena. You can usually stay directly until the bar closes, no one told us that when we were making the reservation so it really surprised us. (We were the first ones in, that is why it all empty in the pictures :) )

I can't really rate the place cause I was there with my boyfriend and this band @truerock to play in a private event. So I don't know what is like in regular days.. Nice venue for not so big shows.

Good place. You can listen to the concerts very well. It's just very expensive and if you want to buy something there, you have to buy a card and tou get no money back when you return it - they say you get water in return, which basically means that you have the obligation to buy a water if you want to order something there. Besides, there's only one bathroom at the whole place, which means it's always crowded and it possible that it will be far from where you are standing.

The place was nice, spacious and clean but the band wasn't very good the day I went there. So it depends on the music play there, you'll love more.

The space is cool but drinks are extremely expensive. You can stay in an outside area that is great to relax and breath but if you try to seat the security will ask you to get up.

A fantastic samba club with an authentic vibe, mostly frequented by locals. The drinks were reasonably priced, which was a nice plus. Leo was our fantastic waiter. During my visit, the first band had some sound quality issues—it felt like there was an unnecessary background track interfering with the performance. One thing I found puzzling was the requirement for identification to enter; I’m not sure why it was needed. Overall, it’s a great spot for enjoying live samba music and soaking in the local atmosphere!

This place is amazing but I remember seeing more people on Sundays evening. I’m not gonna complain as it was very comfortable to walk/dance around 😎 but I missed that energy of people singing and clapping along with the band! Anyway, always a great place to go if you are into samba.

It was a nice place to hang out with friends. At the entrance, the staff was not knowledgeable of international drivers license, also my international Visa card that is accepted everywhere in Brazil, was not accepted there. I could have spent a lot more if they could charge me and not my local friends.

Nice venue for small concerts. Good central location

When we buy tickets for a concert venue, most of us don't search for details on location and surroundings, but trust on apps to give us instructions on how to get there, hope for a good time, end of story. There are no rules for phone usage in this place, as far as I know. The events are very unusual, but international attractions need more space in the city cultural agenda.

Expensive beer. But the AC works, which makes any concert that you're trying to watch a little bit better. It's not far from the subway station and you can also get there by bus.

Do visit on a Thursday, try the zouk and bachata classes, then party and dance until morning! Staff does not really understand English, but among the dancers there is always someone kind to help you out!

I love Zouk's parties every thursdays. There is a Zouk class with Philip Miha at 08:00 p.m. It is really amazing!

Terrible dancing if you can actually dance forro but great bands, worth a visit if a good band is playing. They don't start until well into the small hours though, be warned.

Certainly one of the best places to listen to a good music (rock in general) and hangout with friends. Sometimes is very hard to get a table or a seat, but still works for the great music and people! Totally recommend.

Used to be a samba-only place. Unfortunately, that changed a lot in the last year. Usually a go-to spot for Saturdays of feijoada and samba fueled with caipirinhas in the last few years, it seems that there is new administration, whose focus is to make it an ordinary party place. Samba is still there in smaller doses, drinks are still pretty expensive but food is good, big portions. Is worth a try but don't expect a true samba place anymore, you may become disappointed.

Just walk a block more and go to Croma for better beers, better staff, better atmosphere and especially no made up charges. We loved the vast beer selection. Enough for any beer lovers, IPAs, lagers, double IPAs, light, strong… Alas, lots of choice and great food. We had the sausage portion. OMG, everything was just delicious. We were able to check out the entire location, 2nd level, terrace and inside taps. Great attention by the staff, great beers and wonderful experience! Went here for a bear event. Music was great. Men of all ages seen. There are 3-4 bars but it is just annoying that they all don't serve everything (gin/tonics at one bar, beers at another bar). Employees were all very attentive. I loved that the show on the stage lasted and kept going (yas queens). Would go back for another event but the bar situation was quite annoying, that may be my only deterrent.
