Barbacoa is a renowned churrascaria in Sao Paulo, offering an all-you-can-eat experience. The restaurant features a vast salad buffet followed by servers carving an array of meats with precision. Diners can enjoy various cuts of steak, including the must-try cupim and caviar-topped Denver filet. The dining experience involves flipping coins to signal servers and enjoying a selection of barbecued meats, sausages, and chicken hearts.
It is always a delight eat at Barbacoa. Always perfect meat, amazing salad buffet and exceptional service. We go there for years and Jefferson is always amazingly cordial and friendly! If you are in São Paulo should go! Worth every bite!

Yeah, the wait was long (2hrs), but the food and service were awesome! Even though we're tourists, the staff was super welcoming and looked after us, making sure we had everything we needed and even suggesting some things to try.
Swan B — Google review
OK, we thought we got there early but it turns out we had an hour and a half. Wait right after they opened up the first thing on Saturday morning. Lima was helpful. We love the cocktails in the lounge. The food and service was incredible. I loved the salad bar, I actually loved everything that I ate. I wish I would’ve worn expanding pants and had a hollow leg cause I could’ve eaten everything that I wanted. I WOULD RECOMMEND
Cindy L — Google review
Barbacoa in São Paulo has a beautiful setting, but it’s always packed, so go early to grab a table. I love the first photo—those paper-thin beef slices are incredibly tender. The salmon is good too; I just wish the wasabi had a bit more kick.
Casey M — Google review
I have nothing bad to say about our experience here. The food is delicious, the service is exceptional, and the salad bar is much better than most Rodízios. The meat is amazing and high quality. It is definitely one of the more expensive churrascarias.
Zane M — Google review
OMG… First time in São Paulo, Brazil, and I think this is officially the most steak and meat I’ve eaten in my entire life! It’s absolutely insane in the best way possible. Honestly, I’m totally overwhelmed by this monstrosity of a buffet. It’s like a full-blown meat fest! 😂 I probably downed at least three Coke Zeros just to help wash it all down. Brazil… you’ve won my heart! The food was perfect juicy, flavorful, and nonstop. Highly recommend this place to any of my friends planning to visit São Paulo. No question… I’ll definitely be coming back for round two next time!
Mark A — Google review
An incredible churrascaria. I've heard nothing but great things about Barbacoa. The meat was tender, the service was excellent! Obrigado!
Khalid A — Google review
Our first night in SP and we arrived here around 630PM without reservations. We were given a ticket and asked to wait in the waiting room (full bar). They gave us some snacks while we waited and we were seated in about 30 minutes. The men with the meat skewers were great but spoke no English except our primary server who made sure we got everything we wanted. Strong suggestion is to get some items from the salad bar to break up the bites of meat one after another. I loved the vinegar pickled onions to help balance out the savory meat. I wish I knew what each cut was, but they were all excellently seasoned.

Templo da Carne Marcos Bassi is a renowned grill in Bexiga, known for serving premium quality specialty cuts of meat. Established in 1979, this restaurant offers an extensive menu featuring top-notch beef and pork cuts, as well as light and flavorful fish and cod dishes. The establishment's wood décor and exposed brick create a warm ambiance for patrons to enjoy their meal.
First time I arrive in Brasil and my family took me to Temple of Meat. Day after we went again and had the same absolute fantastic experience. Honestly of the best experience in life (gastronomic wise). I tries ribs, tenderloin and steak on first day, fraldinha and palminha the other and everything was fantastic. Meat is cut perfectly, grilled only with salt. Phenomenal taste. Service was fantastic also, people were very kind and helpful. I hope to come back there one day.

A must visit restaurant once in Sao Paulo. I would personally recommend it for lunch. A great place with a very attractive ambiance, clean and elegant. The service is of a 5 star restaurant , quick, effective and very friendly. They explain the menu and give you tips about the different meat dishes. We had a great time there. The meat was perfectly cut and cooked. They really know their job. A great place where i would go back for sure when I am back to Sao Paulo.

🔥 A Carnivore’s Heaven in São Paulo – Templo da Carne Marcos Bassi 🔥 As a foreigner visiting São Paulo for the first time, I didn’t know what to expect — I don’t speak Portuguese, I walked in alone and without a reservation. But from the moment I stepped through the door, I felt completely welcomed. Shoutout to Jeferson, the amazing waiter who went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Despite the language barrier, he patiently helped me through the menu and made the entire experience feel warm, comfortable, and unforgettable. And then came the meat… I ordered a 650-gram cut, and I swear — it was the best piece of meat I’ve ever tasted in my life. Perfectly tender, beautifully seared, and seasoned only with salt. That’s it. No distractions, just pure, rich, mouthwatering beef flavor that speaks for itself. Cooked to absolute perfection. The portion was huge, but I couldn’t stop eating. If you’re a meat lover, this place is more than a restaurant — it’s a temple, just like the name says. Whether you’re local or just passing through like me, Templo da Carne Marcos Bassi is an absolute must. Come hungry. Leave amazed. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ — I’d give it 6 stars if I could….
Patrick C — Google review
Great tasting steaks and I've been to many steak houses in the USA. This is the bomb! And considering the prices , omg if i lived here I would be their weekly loyal customer. Hands down yummy tender cuts that won't break your wallet. Great service and attentive waiters. Great food! 👍
Constantin P — Google review
Great food and very friendly staff. Prices aren’t low, but it’s totally worth it. The steaks were finely prepared, perfectly done. If you want to have full dinner, expect prices at around R$250 - R$300 per person. Wines have regular restaurant price (not cheap at all).
Guilherme F — Google review
Ordered baby beef for 2, and 2 sides. The natural taste of the meat was below expectation, bland, the cooking also disappointed no taste of any fire and smoke. The sides portions were huge, rushed, not much attention to quality. E.g. the rustic potato with bacon and garlic had no taste of garlic at all.

This place is a MUST if you want an old school/original & unique experience of steak dinner in São Paulo. 10/10.

Fogo de Chão Jardins is an upscale Brazilian steakhouse chain known for its all-you-can-eat meat carved tableside and extensive salad bar. With nearly four decades of expertise in the art of fire-roasting high-quality meats using the traditional Southern Brazilian churrasco technique, this internationally renowned restaurant has become a haven for meat lovers. Despite its focus on meat, Fogo de Chão surprises by offering a meatless menu and a stunning salad bar that caters to diverse diets.
Had a great business dinner with amazing meat cuts i a steady flow! I’d recommend their caipirinha with maracuja. And their cream dessert was awesome ! I had the mango one which was delicious
R B — Google review
We had a lovely dinner at Fogo de Chão in São Paulo. Our reservation was honored promptly, and we were welcomed with smiles and courteous service from the team. The space itself was warm and inviting, setting the tone for a memorable meal. We started with a few refreshing caipirinhas, then made our way to the buffet—which was excellent. Crisp salads, smoked salmon, cheeses, fresh fruits, and even a smoked pork belly station made for a strong start. Once we flipped our coasters to green, the feast began. The various cuts of beef were superb—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I skipped the poultry and sausages to save room for the star of the show: the beef, which did not disappoint. We ended the meal by sharing a classic crème brûlée—smooth, rich, and perfectly caramelized on top. I’ve also dined at their Miami location, and São Paulo held its own—both in flavor and hospitality. A must-visit for meat lovers exploring Brazil. Documented by Postcards and Coordinates (on Instagram).
John J — Google review
Decided to try this based off another review from R B as in the review section. Yes, the recommend caipirinha is a passion fruit one and it's definitely so good, was worried about reports from the hotel that said I need to avoid alcohol as there is a trend to spike it, so didn't want to but the establishment looks proper and I don't think they would tolerate such things here. Had the BBQ buffet... Amazing, I love the fact that I had NO clue what the neat that was being served by the servers as they all spoke Portuguese, but I tell you what, I didn't turn anything away, I think I missed the fillet mignon, the sirloin guy kept coming back, my favourite is the chicken hearts, I know gross but they are so good... The server's are reasonably attentive, had the desert, but the milk cake in India was 💯 more tasty, dear chef, more egg whites will make that cake light and then it will be heavenly, it's tooo heavy the way you made it, try that and drop me a response saying that I was right.. hehe Thanks guys, definitely cool place, I was allowed in wearing shorts and a tee shirt, I appreciate that they are not sticky on that, I'm relaxed and wanna have a relaxing meal, not a stuck up meal... Especially when the star ⭐ is the BBQ meats... Lamb, pork ribs too salty for my taste, maybe it's the way it's done in Brazil... No wonder you have one of the highest ratings on Google maps, you still deserve those stars and ratings it's not slipped in any way...
Miro P — Google review
All good. Except the food. The bar salad was stinky, as if some food was spoiled food. The meat was never cooked to perfection. It was either too burnt or too raw. You know it's not a good place when the food makes you sick. I had to take baking soda afterward to get better. On top of that, was really expensive. And they were charging an extra soda (which by the way I ordered coke first and they just brought me whatever they wanted)
Eddie R — Google review
A very fancy place to go and try Brazilian Churrascaría. The service was not so good, the buffet could have more things comparing with the price. You can order just a dish or the full experience But was a good experience
Tony V — Google review
Food was delicious. Jefio offered very prompt service. The candied bacon was delicious. Best thing on the menu.
Let's ( — Google review
This is one of the best bbq restaurants (churrascaria) at the center of São Paulo that is not with menu, but you are served various local cuts of meat, as much as you can eat, including a wide variety of salads and sides dishes on a central buffet. This type of restaurants called “Rodizio” and it’s a paradise for meat lovers! This particular rodizio is very elegant compared with others, and the service is very good. A special “thanks” to our garçon named “John Lenon” (it was really his given name!) for his polite and fast service and Jociano too. Drinks are charged extra but you must definitely enjoy some caiprinhas (I suggest with Caju, my favourite). Enjoy!
Lefteris D — Google review
Fogo de Chão is a well-known Brazilian steakhouse chain (churrascaria) that originated in southern Brazil and now has locations throughout the country and internationally. It’s a popular choice for those wanting to experience traditional rodízio-style dining, where servers circulate continuously with a variety of grilled meats, serving you tableside until you say stop. We came here specifically to try the full Brazilian churrasco experience. We ordered the Full Experience set, which included an impressive lineup: Filet Mignon, Flank Steak, Beef Ribs, Sirloin, Chuck, Premium Ribs, Skirt Steak, Chorizo Steak, Ribeye, Lamb Chops, Lamb Shoulder, Pork Ribs, Sausage Platter (spicy, regular, and morcilla), Grilled Chicken, Chicken Hearts, and Picanha served alongside a Salad Bar and Feijoada. It looks like a lot—and it is—but it’s all unlimited, served until you flip your table coaster from green (go) to red (stop). However, during our visit, the meat service was a bit slow—likely due to a busy evening—and we found that many of the meats lacked strong marination or seasoning. While the variety is impressive, the overall flavor could be more robust. The salad bar is fresh and well-stocked, offering cheeses, cured meats, vegetables, and traditional Brazilian sides. The Feijoada (black bean and pork stew) was a nice addition. One thing we missed was the option of seafood—it would’ve been great to see that included as well. Although it’s part of a chain, the restaurant maintains an upscale yet approachable atmosphere. The meat quality is decent, and the concept is fun, especially for first-timers looking to explore Brazilian churrasco culture.

Since opening its doors in 1995, this churrascaria has become a beloved destination for meat lovers and food enthusiasts alike. Guests can indulge in an impressive array of over 20 cuts of expertly grilled steak, served by attentive waitstaff who bring the meats directly to your table.
This restaurant was exceptional. The staff were friendly, professional, and at the top of their game. Food quality, look and taste was amazing. Perfect meat, sides, the salad bar/buffet was incredible. All the diners were happy and enjoying themselves. Definitely a great experience and would certainly return. Obrigado!

Foods are excellent here especially the beef and the salad bar! The vibe is similar to any Brazilian grill restaurant back home, but with tastier meats for sure! Recommend not to eat too much from the salad bar because once you turned the red/green indicator to green, the food came non-stop! The special ordered desserts and the cinnamon pineapple are to die for!!!
James — Google review
I came to the restaurant from far away. I had high hopes but I was disappointed by the poor welcoming. The valet man was polite. But the door man treated me poorly . He Just said wait wait and let me sit in the lobby and wait without even noticing me. I spent more than 5 minutes waiting without a table even though the restaurant is almost empty. Even when I was upset and going out he didn't say anything he just opened the door. Poor welcoming. Poor service and poor attitude. Just because someone is dressed sporty doesn't mean he can't afford your restaurant.
Yousef A — Google review
Absolutely Amazing and worth every penny. The food was fantastic and the staff was always there for you. Every time you finished a plate they took it away and placed a fresh plate down. Someone always held your chair for you. Drop a knife, no problem. Here’s a new one. We went for the meat but the sushi was outstanding. Lots of warm side dishes as well. Cheese bar. Salad bar. Total fine dining experience. This is the place to go!!!!

Brazilian steakhouse still vibe in a fairly large restaurant. Lots of meat options along with a buffet with various options of seafood, salads, and other options. Price is obviously high which is kind of standard for good Brazilian steakhouse restaurants.

This cocktail bar features an extensive beer menu and serves delicious snacks like chicken balls. It's a great place to enjoy a drink with friends, and the atmosphere is energetic and upbeat.
Very good food and fast service. I did not find the ‘coxinha’ so great. But for the food is definitely worth the visit! Be aware of the prices of soft drinks. A can of Guaraná is R$ 9,50 !!

FrangÓ is a beloved place where I've been many many times. Still one of the best coxinhas in São Paulo, and a great roasted chicken, with some decent options for beers. It has seen better days, this last time (after many years) it felt a bit old, and just one beer on the tap, but still worth the visit.
Rubens A — Google review
What a hidden Sao Paulo gem! This multi level throwback to the old school beer hall serves up the best coxinha I've eaten alongside a great and diverse range of beers from all over the world. I'd go back there in a heartbeat.
Matthew S — Google review
Excellent variety of beers! Amazing chicken ball.
Dane E — Google review
Large variety of beers from all over the world (480 different labels ready & chill to drink). Great selection of food of all types. Excellent service, fair prices. Don't miss the "coxinhas" and "fried polenta" to eat. Beer highlight: a custom-made doppel bock ale created to celebrate 30 years (in 2017) of this pub.
Dr. F — Google review
In general it is a very good place with very tasty food. However the draft beer for 28 a glass is a scandal. Some entries goes for as much as double of the price from other places and the location is far for almost everyone, except the north zone.

This is definitely a MUST GO place if you are visiting São Paulo. Frangó is known by its extensive beer menu with brand from all over the world and different types of flavor. Restaurant
New Shin-la kwan is a top-notch Korean restaurant that offers a wide range of classic Korean dishes such as kimchi, toppoki, and bibimbap. The restaurant specializes in Korean barbecue, where customers can grill their own dishes right at the table. One of the most popular items on the menu is the pork belly samgyeopsal, which comes with an array of side dishes to complement the flavors.
The meat and the sides are awesome, service is pretty fast! We were in a group of 5 so we ordered 2 bbq (each serves 2 people) and an extra portion of rice, but in the end we fell like we could still eat more. It's kinda pricy but worth the visit!
Vic F — Google review
Super delicious Korean food here in São Paulo. The meat was excellent (as expected being here in Brazil) but also the side dishes served with the meat were so incredibly good. I have never been to Korea but I am a huge fan of the cuisine! I have tried many famous Korean BBQ places in cities like Miami, New York, Dallas and this was by far the best I have had. A lot of the negative comments you see were about pricing but we dined for 2 people and a child and the food was plentiful and pricing in my opinion very fair for what you get.
Malak S — Google review
A great place for authentic Korean food in São Paulo. The food is delicious, the portions are generous and the staff is careful and considerate. They have vegan options :)
Izabela S — Google review
Excellent Korean bbq. We had the bulgogi but all options are excellent. Not exactly cheap, but definitely worth it.
Eduardo L — Google review
Solid kbbq with charcoal grill and vegan options 🌱 (We ordered the vegan bibimbap and sundubu-jjigae and they were both good). Nice variety of banchan as well. The meat quality is good, though I prefer galbi over picanha. Service was a bit inconsistent. One of the servers looked very annoyed, while another was friendly and helpful 🤣

Delivery Restaurant
Little Saigon Culinária Vietnamita is a family-owned Vietnamese restaurant with three locations in Sao Paulo, including the original in Moema. The owner, Jimmy, hails from Saigon and has brought authentic Vietnamese cuisine to Brazil. The restaurant is known for its friendly service and English-speaking staff. While the pho may not be entirely traditional due to ingredient limitations, it offers delicious flavors and generous portions. Guests rave about the spring rolls with pork and the mixed seafood soup.
Travelled a good distance to get to this nook & I must say I’m very happy I did so. If you’re looking for super yummy food and kind, patient staff come check here out! The atmosphere is so inviting and the staff is so warm and friendly! I felt very comfortable eating here. Definitely recommend.

This is easily the best Vietnamese place I’ve been to in Brazil. The pho tasted like pho. Most places in Brazil sadly end up with a tasteless broth and oftentimes lackluster noodles, but here, the broth was on point and the noodles just the right texture. The summer rolls were delicious and we had to order more :) The sauce wasn’t as peanuty as I’m used to, but still quite tasty. The service was quick and attentive (thank you, Jimmy!) and the restaurant clearly had a number of repeat customers. We’ll definitely be back!
Misha N — Google review
Came a bit late, but the owners were super welcoming and friendly. I wish I took more photos, but I was eating fast. We got the Chả giò Heo (crispy fried rolls) and they give you lettuce to wrap them which is perfect with 2 sauces. And I had some beef and noodle plate and lychee juice. My friend had some beef soup. And we ate Chuoi Chung banana/tapioca/peanut dessert which was lovely. Super good food. Nice people. Family business.

I’m Vietnamese travel from California, this is definitely a place to go for authentic Vietnamese food. The owner are Vietnamese and they keep the recipe as much original as they can, as a Vietnamese it feel like home to eat here when I hear Vietnamese music in the background, I highly recommend this restaurant!

To a Vietnamese coming from Saigon, foods here could be stamped with authentic mark. If you ever had connection with Vietnam, this family run food business would make you feel warm and being reconnected. Strongly recommend the phở xào and chả giò if you are Brazilian and trying Vietnamese food for the first time!!!

Churrascaria Vento Haragano is a high-end Southern-style lounge that offers premium cuts of meat and a buffet for everyday meals or special celebrations. The restaurant embodies elegance and indulgence with its gaucho customs, traditionally dressed waiters, and rodizio barbecue. It boasts an impressive entrance with an open flame where meat is roasted, as well as plush covered smoking areas.
We got a recommodation from a local for this rodizio. The quality of the food is very high. First there is a huge buffet of salads, entry’s and vegetable. Then you can just have a seat and wait for the waiters, bringing meat from different tastes of beef. High quality. The service is nearly perfect and very friendly. On the toilets, there are things to get clean and fresh. The price are nearly 50€ per person.

Absolutely amazing. Almost perfect in all aspects. Great food, excellent staff, beautiful place.... I strongly recommend this restaurant.

They opened my Uber door outside and pulled out and in my chair every time I came back from the buffet. The meats were nice and the buffet had a massive variety of unique foods to try out (palm tree core?). Oh and then they opened and closed my Uber door for me when I left. I felt fancy
Jeon M — Google review
Great food in a great atmosphere. As with other bbq places this is served in the gaucho style with the waiters cutting pieces of delicious meat from spits at the table. Wide selection of cuts available and a fantastic salad and buffet bar to start off your meal. Good selection of fried polenta, fries, onion rings, bolitos to keep you full whilst waiting for the next serving of meat to come around. Beautiful open fire slow cooked ribs at the door welcome you in!

Best barbecue – well the only Brazilian barbecue I had in Brazil. 😀 But it did not disappoint. Highly recommended.
Rafiq J — Google review
Great food, great drinks, great atmosphere! The all-you-can-eat buffet has quality plates that would please anyone. There is also sushi, salmon, and lots of vegetable and salad choices for the meat non eaters. Clever touch the dental floss and mouthwash provided at the toilets. Highly recommended.

If you're on the hunt for a fantastic dining experience in São Paulo, look no further than Picanharia do Gaúcho. This vibrant steakhouse is a local favorite, known for its spacious open-air setting that accommodates around 40 tables filled with friendly locals. The menu boasts an impressive array of meats, including the must-try picanha and succulent lamb dishes that will leave your taste buds dancing.
I’m from Mexico and I saw a recommendation from this restaurant in YouTube, yesterday I went with a friend and it was very delicious ! I ordered a lot of type of meats with his accompaniment. It was very cheap for us but it was a little difficult to have a communication with the waiters because they didn’t know how to speak Spanish or English but it was a good experience !

Amazing. Picanha all the way. Lamb is quite excellent, only got a half portion. The palms are something else. You must come here if you are visiting Sao Paulo.

Cozinha dos Ferrari is a high-end Italian restaurant in Sao Paulo that manages to strike a perfect balance between excellence and approachability. The restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with friendly reception and delicious dishes like Boeuf Borguignon and Beef Wellington, accompanied by aromatic vegetables. The menu changes weekly, offering a variety of options to try. The atmosphere is described as happy and peaceful, making it worth the visit for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.
Great place that mixes the simplicity and sophistication in the ambiance, food and service. I ate the bolovo, the rabada rice and a pumpkin dessert, as well as the iced tea, which was remarkably good. Everything had quality in ingredients and preparation and the presentation was also nice. They got some outdoor tables, but I recommend eating inside to see their napolitan decoration. The price is high though not as high as you'd pay in Pinheiros for the same quality of food.
Gian M — Google review
Cozinha dos Ferrari is a warm place to go with family, typically italian (from the south). The environment is nice, the place is very well decorated with italian (and Napoli) things. The kitchen is open to see the Ferrari cooking. EVERYTHING was extremely good and tasty! Highlights to the octopus sandwich 🤌 Hope you can come and bring home this experience!

Some of the best food we had in Sao Paulo! The fish and chips are some of the best we've ever had (yes indeed - this coming from an Aussie and Brit). We dined on a selection of dishes which were divine. Glad we went out of our way to travel to this restaurant - thank you very much.

I have nothing to say about the service, but several orders passed in front of me, taking another 30 minutes. (Translated by Google) The beef stroganoff has no meat! The pieces are tiny and tasteless. It's not worth the price. I was very angry. The dish is basically rice and fries. The dish took a long time to come out. And the attendant was grumpy and didn't want to put my CPF on the receipt. She made a bad face and then put it on in the end. (Original) O strogonoff de carne não tem carne!. Os pedaços são minúsculos e sem gosto. Não vale o preço. Passei muita raiva. O prato é praticamente arroz com batata frita. O prato demorou pra sair. (Translated by Google) Terrible service, many items missing from the menu, and the side dish was cold on the inside! The meat looked like it had been sitting there for hours, the steak was really bad, dry even though it was cooked medium-rare, and the dish was haphazardly assembled, with rice all over the steak and potatoes falling off the plate! While the cashier was working (with a bravery), the others were chatting with her with their arms crossed! 8:00 PM doesn't justify this combination of bad things. If the mall is open until 10:00 PM, the service has to be adequate.

They remade it with the same ingredients and the meat, although it looked different, had the same spoiled taste. In the end, I went to the restaurant next door and bought a kilo of meat. I don't recommend it. (Original) Realizamos um pedido de parmegiana de carne, mas o gosto estava extremamente ruim, parecia carne estragada. Wow - what a treat, if you are a meat lover! Choose a salad, your dish arrives and is then followed at (very) regular intervals by staff offering various cuts of freshly barbecued meat (mostly beef but some chicken, pork and lamb). You don't have to accept every offering, as they will return to tempt you over the next hour - so you can pace yourself. They also pop by with toasted cheese and potatoes. Plenty of food and good service (don't have any lunch before).
