Theatro São Pedro, a 636-seat OSESP theater, has been entertaining audiences since its opening in 1917 with operas, orchestras, and chamber music. Located in Ibirapuera Park, it is surrounded by several museums including the MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art), which boasts a vast collection of contemporary art and is free to visit. The building may appear old from the outside but offers good facilities inside, including a superb theater hall and functional amenities.
This is the second opera house in São Paulo. A smaller theater than the famous Theatro Municipal, it’s a place that shines in remarkable intimate and innovative performances. The theater is also connected to the local opera school, so one may have a chance to listen to new and remarkable talent that hasn’t been captured by the large opera houses.

oldest theater in Sao Paulo! must to visitand see some presentation there.
Luciana S — Google review
From the outside, this building look old but when you are inside it's totally different. The facilities inside this building is good and functional but ages seems has took place. The theater hall is superb. Not so big and not too small, just nice. The air-conditioning also perfect. They also have cocktail area at the second floor. The good place to organise an event.

SESC 24 de Maio is a remarkable cultural and leisure center located in the old center of Sao Paulo. Designed by renowned architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha, this striking building offers exhibition spaces, a theater, library, workspaces, gymnasium, and a stunning rooftop swimming pool. The architecture beautifully integrates the rugged yet captivating city center into its design. Visitors can enjoy the poetic play of light, concrete structures, and glass walls throughout the space.
Paulo Mendes da Rocha and MMBB at it's best. Can not express in words how much I loved this lace. Everything is poetic: the light, the ramps, the concret, the see through of all the glass walls. Just inspired me so much I can not even tell. A very nice place to visit in the middle of Dowtown Sao Paulo!
Isabela T — Google review
Excellent SESC unit in the downtown, heart of São Paulo city. Awesome pool area in the top of the tower, there are other options to do but I don't explored more.
Fernando B — Google review
A great pool in the rooftop, a nice coffee shop and also a really great restaurant for a fair price. Nice views for pics and always has something to do there btw

We went twice for lunch with someone who is associated with SESC. Long lines because the food is cheap. The food is just ok. I tried for the first time an avocado dessert, which was good to my surprise!

Sala São Paulo is a modern concert hall located in the Luz neighborhood, originally built as a train station hall in 1938. Renovated in 2000, it now features mezzanines, walkways, and 1498 seats. The collaboration between Viva o Centro and foreign architects resulted in advanced acoustic methods that minimize noise and vibrations from the nearby train station. It serves as the base for the Sao Paulo State Symphony Orchestra and is known for its exceptional acoustics.
It is a beautiful place to have both visual delight at seeing the Sala itself as well as auditory experience by listening to the musicians performing. It's food for the soul. One feels privileged to be there. Before the symphonic, people sit have either soup or a glass of wine or browse the pretty gift shop.

We came to watch the conductor's amazing concert by Shostakovich Q The event met all expectations, the atmosphere was very beautiful, the sound quality was exceptional and everything was organized down to the last item. At the same event, we were privileged to witness the farewell of the band's violinist, A very exciting event
Ranny B — Google review
We all can say OSESP has reached its place among the top orchestras in the world! And Sala São Paulo also has one of the best acoustics on the planet! Every experience in this place is really impeccable! The building is amazingly beautiful. It's a must go!

One of the most beautiful places in Sao Paulo. Like this one, just in Europe I got some. People and music in high standard
Luiz B — Google review
Sala São Paulo is a world class music venue. Osesp is an amazing orchestra. I highly recommend both.

Gorgeous revamped train station into symphony hall, world class performance, neoclassical epic space, an inspiration and national treasure.

Nice room, with a superb acoustics, the best place to get in touch with classic music in Sao Paulo. Easy to park (in the back of venue) an I recommend to get here by Uber or taxi. Nice cafe inside, small so get crowded during intervals.

The Theatro Municipal de São Paulo, built in 1911, showcases a blend of Renaissance and baroque architectural styles. It hosts operas, concerts, and ballet performances. Additionally, the theater houses the Museum of the Municipal Theater of São Paulo which collects and preserves historical documents related to the theater's rich history. The museum also features long-term exhibitions on architecture and other related themes.
When asking people what to do in São Paulo everybody recommended to visit the Teatro Municipal, we never expected such a treat. The building is beautiful and then I was informed that the orchestra was performing at 5 o’clock. We bought the tickets and enjoyed the wonderful performance. After the show we walked to de bar under the building for a drink and again we were delighted to listen a quartet playing. Great evening, highly recommended
Cristina G — Google review
A breathtaking architectural masterpiece and cultural icon! The Teatro Municipal dazzles with its opulent interiors, world-class acoustics, and stellar performances—from opera to ballet. Guided tours are insightful, but book early. Located in the heart of the city, it’s a must-visit for art and history lovers. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

SESC Pompéia is a former factory transformed into a vibrant community center and architectural marvel by renowned architect Lina Bo Bardi. The space offers a true glimpse into the city's heartbeat, where visitors can enjoy coffee, live music, art exhibitions, and even witness locals going about their daily routines. Bo Bardi's vision of creating an accessible and publicly enjoyed space is evident in the interconnected towers and aerial walkways that provide unique perspectives of São Paulo.
A wonderful place to visit. Food, culture, sport, classes, music, architecture. A fantastic amenity for the local area. Every city around should aspire to have places as good as SESC Pompéia.
Morgan G — Google review
Lina Bo Bardi’s masterpiece has stand the test of time wonderfully, having developed into a highly frequented Sports and cultural centre with exhibitions halls, workshops, a swimming pool, a library, a theatre and a canteen. Master use of reinforced concrete all over.
Carlos O — Google review
Very interesting architecture and space. Tricky to move around if you don’t speak portuguese, but everyone was very nice and the vibe was very chill. You have food options if you feel like it.
Laura C — Google review
Public facility with strict rules against photography. In one of São Paulo’s most significant pieces of architecture, you’d think they’d come to expect visitors excited to get photos of it. Expect different rules for different people. You cannot enjoy the architecture and security will not bother to communicate anything with you except that you have to leave when they finally find you exploring the building. We were told very pleasantly by the information desk that we could explore up to the 6th floor but security had different plans. Here are some phone photos that we snuck anyway.
Remi — Google review
A public space that includes sports and the arts . Lina Bo Bardi ' Masterpiece is definitely worth a visit if only for the architecture.

A cool urban space to come and soak up some culture for a few hours. Free entry, interesting architecture, and great escape from the hustle of the city.

Vibra São Paulo, formerly known as Credicard Hall, is a renowned venue that opened in 1999 and has since become one of the largest and most versatile spaces for entertainment and cultural events in Latin America. Located on Avenida das Nações Unidas, it can accommodate up to 7,000 people. Visitors praise its proximity to the stage during shows but suggest more food options and improved air conditioning for longer events.
I like the show ,wonderful
Alice F — Google review
While Vibra São Paulo is a modern venue with great sound quality, the VIP experience left much to be desired. The main issue was the frustrating process of having to leave the venue and rejoin the general queue after the VIP session. At most venues, VIP guests are allowed early entry to secure prime spots near the stage, but that was not the case here. For a Dream Theater concert, this setup felt far from a VIP experience. Instead of enjoying the benefits of early access, we found ourselves at the back of the line with everyone else, which was disappointing and diminished the value of the VIP package. The venue itself is impressive, and the sound was fantastic, but the disorganized approach to VIP access needs improvement to match the high expectations of such events.
Matthew J — Google review
Very nice venue for concerts. Good view and audio. Also very cool idea to have a bar at the entrance (just outside the building) with live music, drinks and finger food, while waiting for the gate to open. Parking and transport outside could be better organized though.
Jacopo S — Google review
Excellent place for shows. You are never too far from the stage. For long lasting events, could have more options for food and a not so cold air conditioning.

Teatro Alfa is a spacious and comfortable venue that offers a variety of performing arts experiences, including dance, opera, orchestral concerts, pop music, theater, and musicals. The theater is known for its collaboration with Pixar and provides a big setting for shows. While the sound distribution may not be ideal during large orchestra performances, overall the experience is enjoyable for those seeking magic or music.
Great structure, beautiful building and efficient staff.

Really nice and comfortable place, came here today (Jul 16 22) for a show in collaboration eith Pixar, and I found the theater to be really big. Michael G — Google review
Hello, It is the worst place for a concert that I have been to, the event's organization was awful. They do not respect the concert's time or entrance's time. Likewise, the ticket store was so slow, middle of the street, and the area was too dangerous. Definitely, it is not a place for the quality and punctuality of such a professional and wonderful band as KRISIUN.

Gorgeous Theater, usually they have good shows and performances, comfortable seats, elevated seats for kids, candy shop, restroom, parking lot, and the Theater is located inside of a big Mall. I've been to this Theater many times and every time was a very good experience.

Good sized venue, nicely appointed, with good acoustics and a reasonably sized stage. Ushers are friendly and helpful. Concession stand offers varied beverages and finger-food. Seats are comfortable and view of the stage is good (sat in row S). Extremely convenient due to being located in a shopping mall. Parking is paid.

Great theater, not so big, seats have good stage visibility from all places, acoustics and sound are very good. Foyer is comfortable, but not so big, might get really crowded when sold out.

Casa Natura Musical is a fantastic music venue with an incredible atmosphere and excellent positioning of light, stage, and sound. The cozy tables, nice decoration, and lively staff create a beautiful ambience for enjoying great live music. The house offers amazing shows featuring a super selection of concerts and artists at fair prices. While the cocktails are well executed, they could be slightly more expensive than expected. The venue also has standing room only but provides fast table service even when crowded.
An excelent venue for quality music shows, a celebration of good taste, with a great environment and a great bar. Had the chance to see Silvia Machete live here and everything went close to perfection.

Amazing!! The tasty appetizers offered (expensive but nothing insane) and the cocktails and traditional liquor are a plus to this incredible show house! Beautiful ambience consisting of cozy tables, nice decoration and a very nice bar. Excellent positioning of light, stage, sound... Perfect for enjoying great live music. I went there 2 months ago on casuarina band. I liked so much of this place because is not so but. You really can see and feel the band very near to you. I think there only toilets on the first floor but I'm not sure about this. Beer prices are extremely expensive. Caipirinha could be a good option.

Teatro da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo is a historical theater in Sao Paulo with 670 tablet-arm seats, oversized seating, and a large stage with a big screen. It offers an excellent experience for theatergoers, featuring a diverse catalog of plays. The adjacent church adds to the charm of the place. While some visitors praise the comfortable seating and top-notch infrastructure, others suggest improvements such as expanding the cafe's options and offering more affordable prices.
Excellent seats throughout the theater. Just wait for the next performance. The current "playBack" of and with Jo Soares and co. should be skipped. It is not worth anything, to leave the confort of your home to see this thing...

Cosy theatre in quietish part of town. Also has a smaller in the round place called Tucarena which is more basic. Good for shows that are not too long. Do not go by car as scumbags known as flanelinhas take over the street and coerce drivers into paying them to allegedly look after their cars. Of course the police do nothing to stop this criminal racket.

Tokio Marine Hall, previously known as Tom Brasil, is a popular venue in Santo Amaro that can accommodate up to 4,000 people. It hosts various events including concerts and corporate functions. The venue is praised for its cleanliness, organization, and helpful staff. While some visitors appreciate the good acoustics and modern facilities such as clean restrooms and spacious dining areas, others feel that the sound quality during live performances could be improved.
It is a nice place to stay if you are in Floripa for a quick visit to the University of Santa Catarina.

Very good staff, cleaness place and organized. I went there on three or four times and now I can say. The only thing I don't like is about one of the most important thing in a live concert. The quality of sound. Don't wait that weight generally met in this kind of show. That sound that makes you feel the music you won't find. In other hand you'll be able to keep a conversation without yelling. Be sure that I'm not talking about the volume, no. It's about feel the music

Nestled in the heart of downtown São Paulo, Galeria Sete de Abril is a vibrant shopping destination that caters to photography enthusiasts. This longstanding mall boasts a diverse selection of stores specializing in cameras and photography-related goods, making it an ideal spot for anyone looking to upgrade their gear or explore new equipment. While the escalators provide easy access to the upper levels, navigating back down can be a bit of a maze, as visitors must wind through various corridors to find stairways.
Found there several stores of all sort of items. Right downtown Sao Paulo city.

It's clean, well organized with cute security guards who directed me accurately to my destination. Nice place to shop. But there's not much internet connection inside the shop I visited. I missed many calls while I was there and when I came out and found out that I missed a lot calls, I felt very poor.
Phyllis J — Google review
Large shopping center. Escalators going up are convenient. Going back down takes several minutes because it is necessary to walk around in circles to find stairways leading down. I think if a fire occured, customers could be in danger because it takes a long time to exit the structure.

Espaço Itaú de Cinema - Frei Caneca is a movie theater located inside the Frei Caneca Shopping mall in Sao Paulo. The cinema offers a mix of mainstream and cultural films, including 3D and IMAX screenings. Visitors appreciate the relatively empty atmosphere and affordable ticket prices compared to other theaters. The location within the gay-friendly mall adds to its appeal, with patrons enjoying the convenience of being close to Paulista avenue.
Excellent picture and sound quality. The 3D experience was good. The place was highly neat and Glass provided was clear and clean.
Nithin S — Google review
Buy the tickets online and you'll be fine! The cinema is physically fine, not the best sound or picture and not the worst. Decent seats, cool and air conditioned. It's often crowded for its small size. The staff are terrible, last time their card reader wouldn't register the itau bank card which gives a good discount on their pricey ticket. This kind of technical problem happens, but the service there seems to be to ignore the problem and give no recourse with a s*** eating grin on your face as you repeat the price. The manager didn't care, and didn't seem to know the steps to avoid such problem, which is worse.
Christopher Y — Google review
I absolutely adore this cinema due to the fact that is, most of the time pretty empty and you get to pay way cheaper in relation to the rest. Also, it's located inside the Frei Caneca Shopping mall (small but chic)and about 900m walking distance from Paulista avenue. Famous downtown city within São Paulo.

(Translated by Google) The B32 Theater is undoubtedly beautiful and modern—a structure that impresses at first glance, with its technological proposal and sophisticated architecture. But unfortunately, the hands-on experience fell far short of expectations. I went to see Luis Brito's show, Forever Tango, which was simply spectacular! A moving, technical, intense, and top-notch performance. It's definitely worth it for those who enjoy dance and quality live music. I watched from audience 2, seats L1 and L2, which I consider the best in the theater. The view of the stage is wide and completely unobstructed—an excellent choice for those looking to enjoy every detail of the performance. On the other hand, the theater seriously failed in technical aspects: • The sound was constantly interrupted, with random volume variations that compromised immersion. • The stage lighting was unstable, with lights fading as if they were burning out. • The spotlight operator seemed completely lost: he was slow to turn on the spotlight, frequently lost the dancers, couldn't follow the choreography, and sometimes simply forgot to turn on the light—something that caused discomfort throughout the show. • Finally, although the staff was polite and attentive, there was a serious operational error: the flashlights used to guide latecomers were pointed directly at the faces of the already seated audience, interrupting the experience and completely ruining the atmosphere of the performance. This is not done in any serious theater. In short: the space has potential, but it urgently needs technical improvements and more operational preparation to be up to the performances it hosts. The show was memorable, but the theater itself fell short—a lot.

(Translated by Google) It's a beautiful, clean, comfortable, and spacious place, but if you get balcony tickets, be aware that the view may not be the best, as it's located on the sides of the theater, high up. I've been to several theaters, and this one is definitely in the top three. There's a café on the first floor with prices depending on the area, so be prepared to spend a bit. You can take photos of various places with an incredible view from above. I loved it. (Translated by Google) B32 is the unlikely miracle of Faria Lima: a theater that works. The program is strong, varied, and well-chosen. Sometimes they slip into some plays that are too alternative for my taste, but that's just a personal quirk and doesn't change the 5-star rating. The service? Impeccable. Staff know what they're doing, without the look of lost interns or corporate cocktail party bureaucrats. The audience is treated like ticket buyers, not as a nuisance. The atmosphere is surprising: glass and concrete, yes, but cozy. The sound is crystal clear, the stage view is good from any seat, and the space doesn't smell like an empty "cultural mall" or bus fabric. NOTE: I saw some people complaining about "there was a wait," "no coffee," or "the play was too abstract" in more moderate reviews, and even those praised the acoustics, the comfort of the seats, and the location. So, if you've had a mediocre experience, give it a shot and try again. The problem usually isn't the theater itself, it's the play, the day, the combination of hunger and traffic. Revisiting the experience can be the difference between thinking you saw "an empty, glamorous place" or discovering it's one of the few theaters that truly earns 5 stars across the board and still makes you want to come back. A programação é forte, variada e bem escolhida.

(Translated by Google) Today, July 11th, I visited Casa Triângulo for the first time with friends, visiting the Joana Vasconcelos exhibition. What should have been a pleasant visit unfortunately turned into a horrible experience! Unfortunately, I was approached very casually by a gallery employee—a stocky, average-height gentleman with glasses. I have a physical disability and need assistance using the restroom. Upon leaving, my friend and I were approached abruptly by a gentleman who showed no common sense or manners. He immediately asked us why there were two women in the restroom? Only later, upon seeing me with a cane, did he apologize. Immediately, so indignant at his behavior, I said, "It's okay, I'm used to it"... but I'm not, and I shouldn't be, accustomed to this type of person and attitude! It was embarrassing, and I was surprised by the way we were treated! Disrespectful and lacking the slightest empathy. I hope that Casa Triângulo will be more careful and respectful of all its visitors, and that, before pointing a finger at someone, they will know how to assess the situation and adopt a better attitude!

(Translated by Google) Dear [Name of person responsible for the Triângulo Gallery], I am writing this letter to express my profound bewilderment and, I confess, considerable indignation after my wife and I visited your renowned gallery today, located at Rua Estados Unidos, 1324. Our expectation of an enriching cultural experience, on our first visit to your premises, was abruptly confronted with a hospitality policy that borders on the paradoxical for a space that aims to be an art center. After appreciating some works, my wife kindly requested to use the restroom. To our surprise, permission was immediately denied by the receptionist, who claimed that restroom use is "only for gallery clients." When we inquired about what would be required to qualify as such, we were informed that only the purchase of a work of art or book would grant us such a "privilege." The suggestion, made without any hesitation, that we could find restrooms in a bar on the corner, is a testament to the disconnect between the gallery's supposed artistic excellence and the reality of its customer service. A quick subsequent inquiry revealed that such hostile treatment is not an isolated incident, but rather a recurring and long-standing pattern, elevating the concern from a specific case to a matter of institutional culture. It is regrettable that an institution that aims to be a cultural epicenter in São Paulo chooses to erect such prosaic barriers, transforming a potentially pleasant and enriching visit into a memory of embarrassment and disappointment. We left the Triângulo Gallery not with the inspiration that art promises, but with the curious impression that aesthetic appreciation is only validated after an immediate commercial transaction. Perhaps, in a future eventuality, should we qualify as "clients" through purchase, the experience might, in fact, be "pleasant and enriching."

Galería Luisa Strina, established in 1974 by Luisa Strina, has been a pivotal force in launching the careers of some of Brazil's most influential contemporary artists. The gallery has showcased renowned artists like Pablo Accinelli and Tunga. It is known for its elegant and captivating exhibitions, making it a must-visit for art enthusiasts.
Galeria Luisa Strina might be one of Brazil’s most iconic galleries. Founded in 1974 by Luisa Strina, the gallery launched Brazilian artists into the world, such as Brazilian sculptor Cildo Meireles. Moreover, being the first Latin American gallery joining the world-renown Basel Art Fair in 1992, it put Brazilian artistry on the map. It should be no surprise, therefore, that this gallery brought international artists, including Andy Warhol, to the gallery for the first time in Brazilian history as well!

Twenty minutes later, a very rude staff member arrived, yelling at me and my friend, "You're yelling, you're in an art gallery!" We looked at him in shock and immediately apologized. He continued yelling at us. We felt coerced and decided to leave, leaving with tears in our eyes. We weren't yelling, not even loud. As we left, we noticed that there was no one else in the gallery except the staff. This was very unprofessional of him, given that it's a space where admission is free.
