Restaurant
Hotel Swissôtel Sarajevo is an upscale, alcohol-free hotel with warmly furnished quarters and two restaurants. The spacious rooms offer great scenery and the hotel's location provides convenient access to a shopping mall and supermarket for amenities like phone cards and currency exchange. While it is a landmark building, some guests have noted issues with sanitation in the hotel. However, the staff's attitude remains positive despite minor inconveniences.
I visited Sarajevo with my family in early May and stayed for a weekend. I was there with my spouse, an 6 year old son and in-laws. Our experience was simply amazing and one of the best hotel experiences we ever had. We were greeted by Hasan, a lovely man who went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible experience, he recommended restaurants, shopping spots, places to see. The breakfast experience the hotel provides was amazing, we were overwhelmed by the kindness and hospitality that every employee displayed. It was as if my own family owned the place. It is without a doubt the only place I will ever stay when visiting Sarajevo.

amazing property offers an assortment of options such as cozy rooms, spa, cafe(macrons were amazing) and the location takes all the credit(city centre). Must visit to espresso cafe. menu is amazing and the pistachio dream cake with an americano is highly recommended.
Karn S — Google review
We had business seminar at the hotel, catering was excellent, interior is very modern and luxury , but it doesn't match with service. People also complain about zero alcohol at this hotel, which guests would like to be able to make their own decision versus someone else forcing it! Location...3 stars, this is out of center and requires transportation.

I stayed at Swissotel Sarajevo for five nights and had an amazing experience. Check-in was quick and easy, the facilities were brilliant, and the service was outstanding. My room was really spacious with a beautiful mountain view – couldn’t have asked for better! The spa was fantastic too, and the staff there were so helpful. Big thanks to Salma at reception for sorting out a late check-out for me as I had a flight later in the day – really appreciated it! I work in the travel industry and deal with a lot of luxury hotels, and I have to say Swissotel Sarajevo really impressed me. I’ll definitely be recommending it to my clients, friends, and family. The staff here truly go above and beyond. Highly recommend!
Yaqoob — Google review
Very good experience overall. Friendly and helpful staff, great location, tasty food, and everything was clean and well maintained. The hotel is also kid-friendly – there’s a playroom for children in the same complex, which is a big ➕️ for families. (Closed on Sundays) Parking is €15/day or just across the hotel. In the hotel bars, make sure to say you're a guest – you’ll get 40% off. The spa is a bit poor and feels worn out

A pretty good restaurant in Sarajevo with all amenities you would need. There is also a decent pool in this hotel that you can use. Towels etc will be distributed at the pool. Breakfast was plenty and delicious. The view from the room was phenomenal.

I can’t fault swissotel, bar the fusion restaurant - there’s nicer places to eat in Sarajevo. But as a hotel, lovely staff, lovely rooms, very clean, well placed location, good breakfast. 10/10. Thank you to Dario for being so accommodating to us :)
Zahra N — Google review
The best hotel in Sarajevo. Perfectly located in the heart of the city centre! There is a very short bridge/pathway on the first floor of the hotel directly to the SCC shopping centre (largest/newest in the city). The main tram line is right outside the entrance of the SCC shopping centre. This makes the hotel very accessible with the old city being only 10 minutes away via the Tram or Taxi. The hotel itself is fantastic. Great staff. Great amenities. A true 5*. Our Panaromic Executive Suite was fantastic, it was large, clean, newly renovated with amazing views. The pool/spa were also great. No complaints. We will be back when next in the city.

Hotel Malak Regency is an upscale riverside hotel offering polished rooms, restaurants, an indoor pool, and a spa. The spacious rooms are clean and luxurious with amenities such as slippers, bathrobes, and shoe polish. The breakfast offers diverse and fresh options sourced from their farms. The friendly staff provides excellent service, with special mentions for Amina and Alegia. Additionally, the hotel features a shop in the lobby and a fantastic spa facility with fast laundry service.
I had a wonderful experience at Hotel Malak Regency. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the beauty of the hotel — elegant, clean and nicely designed. The rooms are spacious, spotless and well-maintained. What truly made my stay exceptional was the staff, welcoming and helpful. A special shout-out to Adin, one of the waiters at the restaurant, whose professionalism, friendly manner and attention to detail added a personal touch. Every single day, he went above and beyond. I can’t recommend Hotel Malak Regency enough.

It’s a unique hotel in the sense that it has its own Farm where during summer you can go with families for picnic. Rooms are exceptionally comfortable and clean, so is the service. Breakfast is buffet and you can have everything that you can imagine to be there for brunch. They serve four different kinds of honey from their own farms.Staff serving breakfast is polite and friendly. It’s located just 7 minutes walk from Llidza tram station where trams run after every few minutes to Baščaršija , old Sarajevo. There only two things we noticed which require the attention of the management. First there is no valet service to take your luggage from the car/ taxi and you are expected to bring and carry yourself to the reception desk. Second is air conditioning in the room. Guest cannot control the thermostat , meaning temperature, by himself. It’s controlled from the front desk and you are supposed to call the person at the front desk/ reception to lower or increase the temperature, your preferred. It’s a headache and management should take a note of it. Otherwise we had absolutely enjoyable stay here. Highly recommended.

We visited from Jerusalem, Palestine, and had such a wonderful stay at this hotel. The employees, especially those helping with luggage and serving food, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a pool, though for women it’s only open on Saturdays and Sundays for a short time, which was a bit limiting. The room was spotless, and the cleaning lady kindly offered us a prayer mat — such a thoughtful gesture. Breakfast had a wide variety of food, and there’s also a convenient parking garage. Overall, our experience was excellent, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Also since our flight was very early in the morning, the staff even prepared breakfast boxes for us to take -which we really appreciated

A 5-star experience – truly outstanding service at Malak Regency Hotel! We’ve just ended our 10-day Balkan road trip across Bosnia, Croatia, and Slovenia, covering over 1,500 km and staying in a new city almost every day. Sarajevo was both the beginning and the end of our journey, and we chose Malak Regency Hotel for our final night after a long day in Mostar. Due to a booking mistake on our part through a third-party website, we accidentally reserved the wrong night. When we arrived at the hotel, the front desk kindly informed us that the previous night had been marked as a no-show. While the hotel had every right to charge us again, the management handled the situation with true professionalism and generosity by offering us a complimentary room for the correct night — even though they were under no obligation to do so. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully furnished, with a breathtaking view of the river and surrounding nature. We appreciated the full amenities, including a bidet in the bathroom — a thoughtful detail for Middle Eastern travelers. Free secure parking was also a big plus. Without a doubt, I will stay here again on my next visit to Sarajevo and highly recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, hospitality, and peace of mind.

Hotel Malik Sarajevo wannabe Turkish five star that lost its shine long ago Maybe back in the day when it first opened this place actually hit the five star standards and got the badge but now it is nothing more than a piece of paper and reality hits different From the entrance you already feel the fake vibe the main door doesnt even work and instead of a grand welcome you get some random vending machines standing right next to the reception desk The so called luxury is just a cheap show covering up how worn out and outdated the place really is In the rooms half the stuff is broken or falling apart the so called renovation looks like a quick and dirty job and the whole thing feels like a low budget knockoff The promo photos online are pure catfish nothing close to what you actually get Breakfast is another letdown Forget about good coffee you wont find it here not even a decent one Food yeah theres plenty of it but its mostly frozen junk reheated pizza and random low quality dishes If you find something tasty consider yourself lucky because its like one bite out of a mountain of trash At the end of the day this hotel doesnt even hit proper four star vibes At best its a sad three star hiding behind fake Turkish glamour stuck in the past and offering zero quality or real comfort

The hotel was overall fine, with excellent breakfasts and a very friendly chef who spread joy in the mornings. The pool area was partly out of order (the whirlpool was not working) and did not feel particularly pleasant. The staff ignored teenagers who were making a mess, being loud, and jumping into the water, so we ended up leaving. The reception staff seemed unqualified and completely lacking both joy in their work and professionalism toward guests. At check-out, we dealt with Melissa, who was openly unpleasant (without any reason, as we had no issue to resolve). I almost asked to speak with the manager but in the end decided not to and just left. This hotel does not live up to a 5-star rating.

Hotel Europe is a historic 5-star hotel located in the heart of Sarajevo, Bosnia. Established in 1882, this elegant hotel offers modern and fully equipped accommodations with a blend of Oriental and modern styles. It features cozy rooms and suites, along with amenities such as a gym, indoor pool, spa with saunas, terrace for sunbathing, fitness services, and airport transfers.
I had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Europe in Sarajevo. The location is right in the heart of the city, yet my room was quiet and peaceful, allowing me to get a comfortable night’s sleep. The staff were extremely accommodating. When I mentioned that the bed in my blue-themed room was a bit too firm, they kindly moved me to another room (orange-themed), which had a softer, much more comfortable bed—it felt like heaven! I ended up extending my stay because of how relaxed and at home I felt. Breakfast was another highlight: a huge variety of options, all fresh and delicious, and the waiters were attentive and professional. A special thank you goes to Marisa at the spa. She is so sweet, welcoming, and patient in explaining all the services they offer. Honestly, she’s the reason I chose this hotel in the first place! The spa itself is fantastic, with a pool, sauna, steam room, and a wide range of treatments like massages, facials, and body scrubs—perfect for being pampered without even leaving the hotel. Overall, I can’t recommend Hotel Europe enough. From the location to the comfort, service, and spa, it truly exceeded my expectations.

Definitely one of the best options to stay in Sarajevo. Perfect location in the middle of old town. Kind service and very clean. Did not taste SPA offer. Great breakfast, one of the best I’ve tasted lately. Rooms need a bit of refurbishment, that’s why did not put 5 starts.
Milan M — Google review
Location is perfect. Rooms Beautiful. Staff at reception kind. But on separate occasions I rather strongly felt that I was not welcome here by the restaurant staff. Which is unfortunate because it significantly impacted my overall experience. But alas, perhaps if I was kinder for example said good morning to them when walking in, the experience may have been different.
Nikola J — Google review
Rooms very basic on 3rd floor, bathroom not clean, AC operated lousy, was able to open window (colleagues was not) but the noise from outside AC unit was unbearable. Price-list was obsolete and incorrect. Breakfast was very good. Reception also but: they were not able to organize taxi from the airport to hotel as I was “too late”?!? Beware of TAXI d(r)iver… they will try to scam you. Black Mercedes driver took 50KM (25 €) instead of max 20 KM (10€). Location good if you like to check the old part of town. People are very nice in general.
DragonS — Google review
Very disappointed with my stay. The AC was not working in two different rooms, and they asked me to move again to a third. The tub was clogged, the furniture is outdated, and the mattress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. This level of service is unacceptable. I do not recommend staying here.
Safeya M — Google review
Really central, comfortable, clean and some kind of nostalgic. I liked it. Room has bidet as you can see.

Excellent service and location. The gentleman working night shift on September 29 was exceptionally kind and helpful, ordered us a taxi and made sure we were safe.

Charge 20€ for 24h, very high price. They don’t take € for the parking ticket at the counter and only cash is allowed. Very bad parking experience. Not very helpful staff. Wouldn’t recommend parking there

Nestled in the pine-forested Trebevic hills just a short drive from Sarajevo's Old Town, Pino Nature Hotel offers a serene mountain retreat with comfortable rooms and a range of amenities. The hotel features polished quarters with an airy restaurant and free breakfast, providing guests with a cozy ski-chic feel.
Great view and design. The owner has a great mind to think about every small detail inside and outside the hotel. Kids area is available. People enjoy spending a day use around. Room was very clean, wide and had an excellent view. Services were very well and staff were friendly and helpful. Location isn’t that near to the city and we were very worried about the way to go to the city but it was a great surprise to use a cable car which is just 10 minutes a walk from the hotel and we used it to go down to the city and up again to the hotel, so no worries if you don’t want to rent a car or use the taxis. Also the view point is beautiful to see the sunset and enjoy time there. Even walking in nature around the hotel was helpful in getting peaceful mind and clear soul. The hotel is very suitable for yoga and meditation. I and my friend enjoyed our stay.
Margret R — Google review
We booked this hotel because it’s halal-friendly and has a swimming pool, but it didn’t meet our expectations. The location is nice and surrounded by trees, but the nearest café or market is a 20-minute drive, so you really need a car. Food and drinks are also quite expensive. The pool was only open for 2 days during our week-long stay. Rooms were not very clean, with old dusty furniture, lots of flies in the bathroom, and no windows that could be opened, making it feel stuffy. Privacy is also an issue since rooms can be seen from outside unless curtains are kept closed. Breakfast was decent, and the staff were generally friendly, but TVs only have local channels and are not smart. Overall, it’s fine for a short stay if you’re mainly here for hiking, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a longer holiday.
Muhammed Ö — Google review
Reading the previous reviews I had nice expectations about this hotel. But unfortunately I got disappointed. The first day we arrived it seemed incredible. Beautiful architecture, nice clean and spacious room, kind welcoming from the reception staff. However, the main reason we booked this hotel was to have a RELAXING holiday, and that is basically impossible here. There is loud music everywhere 24/7 - even in the wellness area with a sign “silent please”, there is still loud pop / folkolirstic music in the background. I didn’t manage to find a quiet spot where to enjoy reading my book for 30 min. Furthermore, the wellness area was practically inaccessible for us. The first two days we were there it was reserved for “woman only” because of halal reasons, the third day we already booked a tour out of the city, the 4th and last day finally we wanted to use it but there were workers cleaning and adjusting something during the morning. Then in the afternoon we tried again but there was a problem with one of the machines which was making a big noise - not ideal to relax. On the good side, the location is great for quiet walks in the forests. Also going down to the city is quite easy via the cable car / taxi. With the insight, I would have much more booked an hotel in the city centre, use the public hammam for one day of wellness and came up here for hiking on another day.
Aurora G — Google review
Over the last 9 months, I’ve waited more than 30 minutes on three different occasions without being served, so we ended up leaving each time. The food is good and the location is great, but the service has been consistently poor due to understaffing. I hope management can improve this soon. Wish you all the best.
Alija F — Google review
Stayed here for a few days before staying in the city. Beautiful spot on the mountain. If you love nature and hikes this spot is great. The rooms are nice and bright with their funky design. Food is good with lots of options for breakfast. They need to have more plant based options on their dinner menu.

Service: Generally decent, receptionist is nice, pool lady is nice with the kids and requests. But a waiter named Zakir/Zakaria/Zakar/Zaki (he gave us a lot of names. white Bosnian male with little facial hair) at the bar/restaurant that gave us ice cream, stood for over 10 minutes telling us how Bosnian Muslims are superior to Arab Muslims because of an agenda he heard online, telling us how he thinks Arabs are inhumane and don’t do good for Muslims around the world but Bosnians do (while UAE and other middle eastern countries are literally top donators to Gaza and other global incidents). Please keep in mind I was with my family including my mother and younger siblings whom all heard the conversation while trying to enjoy their ice cream, which was in the main lobby in front of the reception while the receptionist is present. That ruined my mother’s night, as we came down from our room to enjoy the cold weather at night and the post-rain weather. He was also complaining about his Asian coworker (brown skin, Sri Lankan as per the waiter) saying that they are not good workers and that Bosnians are better. Making fun of Arab parents and Arab kids saying that Arabs can’t control their children. Additionally he was showing us his charity contributions to one of the African nations but saying he doesn’t trust if he will get rewarded or something I don’t even know. His arguments and way speaking was all over the place but focused to convince us that Bosnian Muslims are different than Arabs. Rooms: Rooms are decent and livable. However in each room, near the window there are dead insects under the grey large pillows and beside it. Pool: I would recommend to install heaters for the water, however we had a nice swim. Overall: Decent but we wish we never met or engaged the waiter in that ignorant argument. Dont talk to him or try to convince him because once he sees that you are not being convinced by his arguments he will tell you “I am busy I have to work” when he literally is the one that starts the conversation with you about his discriminatory topic. Please note that the overall experience in Bosnia was great and that we are amazed by some Bosnian treatment of how respectful they were to us. However this was one of the instances that we met disrespectful staff who didn’t like Arabs. Pino hotel we expect better from your services, Thank you.

Went for food with a group of people. For some reason we had to pay in front. The pizzas took really long and weren't that special. The pasta was cold. No checking whether it's alright or for drinks. Nice scenery, but that's all. Not a great experience.
Melle Z — Google review
I came there to eat with my kid and I was first attended for a kind guy outside where I ordered 2 juices but I needed to change tables because I wanted to charge my phone (of course I asked before changing to inside), another worker came to attend me and I specifically said that I order from the other guy 2 juices and that I want a pizza, he said ok and left, some time later I got my juices and he started to shout in his language why I got juices that he ordered juices again and that i need to pay twice, I said that I told him about the order with the other guy and they said ok you don’t need to pay. The ugliest part was when I needed to pay and the guy started demanding and shouting to me that I need to pay the juices twice, he threw the bill of the other guy away and kept shouting because i refused, in the end I paid only the pizza with him but he threw the bill to me aggressively. What was a nice hike ended up being an ugly moment. I do not think that a hotel like this should have this kind of people working for them. For me this is a reason to fire him. View and food was good.

Nestled in the captivating milieu of Sarajevo, Hotel Radon Plaza stands as a testament to lavish indulgence. The modern hotel features streamlined rooms and suites, a rooftop restaurant with amazing views, an indoor pool, and a spa offering Finnish sauna facilities. Guests can also enjoy leisure activities such as bowling and billiards. The lobby bar exudes a soothing atmosphere for relaxation. Located about 4.3 miles from the city center and 1.
Hotel location is great, close to the airport, 10mins taxi drive from the center, 15 by tramway, and very convenient. Breakfast makes the difference, served on the 15th floor with a view over the entire Sarajevo, and the food selection is amazing. The staff is kind and professional. I would separate Nino from the main desk who is extremely helpful, kind, and professional. All in all amazing.

Our room and bathroom are big but there’s smell. It’s not a modern hotel inside. The view of the restaurant for brkfast is amazing. Receptionist is not good service. Far from city centre but u have tram in front of the hotel. Carpet is smelly.

not recommended if you are looking for a luxury hotel in Sarajevo, completely a nightmare! Room is clean and tidy, WiFi connection is strong and stable. However! The window is not openable, we have to open the main door to let the freash and cold air to come inside our room, we were feeling unbreathable. The air conditioning doesn't work properly, it can be turned on, however the temp cannot be lowered than 20 degree. we turned on the A/C all night, but the temp still maintained at 25 degree at night! Plus the unopenable window, it feels like sleeping in a sauna room. They don't have enough tables in their restaurant, the breakfast time was packed. We have to take our breakfast back to our unbreathable room, or eat it in their hotel lobby. Their reception is so unprofessional, a young man was tried to sort out my problem but completely got distracted by a young lady just went pass and started to talk with her! We were here in May, when the temp was around 25 degree max, take a second thought if you would visit here in summer!

Not a 4-star experienc Room wasn’t properly cleaned — hair on the bed and in the bathroom, used sugar left in the tea tray. AC blows at full power with no option to adjust airflow, only on or off.Had to change rooms; reception gave the new key but offered no help. Then my old room key stopped working while I was moving my things — had to go back to reactivate it. Only the restaurant met expectations — good food and service. Overall, disappointing. Ibis offers a much better experience.

A very good hotel to stay when you travel to Sarajevo. Friendly personnel and a safe place to stay. The rooms are big and the price-quality is perfect.

Very comfortable hotel. Staff are very friendly. Rooms are very spacious, have large tv with local channels. Rotating restaurant on the top floor has amazing views- especially at sunrise and sunset. Restaurant itself is very good but has limited menu. Location of hotel is great, there's a bash burger (halal McDonald's copy) literally outside and theres a tram stop opposite which takes you into old town in 45mins. Not much else within walking distance but tram and taxis are cheap.

I went there pretty late so there was no available service but at the day time ı am sure that could been a amazing view to look at. And you are also sitting on a plca where the table you are sitting always rotating in a very low speed so you are able to see all of sarejevo.

My stay at the hotel was absolutely amazing! The cleanliness, comfort, and perfect location made the experience unforgettable. What truly stood out was the exceptional service from the staff member Amina – extremely kind, professional, and always smiling. Big thanks to her for the warm welcome and helpful attitude. She’s truly a model employee! I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely come back again.

25 of us had stayed at this hotel for a charity trip, outings and also to take part in the Sarajevo half marathon. The rooms are clean, staff are nice, breakfast is great, location is great. No complaints at all. The lobby is spacious with plenty of seating. Other attendees of this hotel are very friendly. Gym and spa area is perfect. I would advise the restaurant rooftop staff have better training on customer service and hospitality, major room for improvement on that aspect but will not allow that to impact the rest of the staff and the hotel itself. Will be back again.

The location is amazing, The room very basic and spacious and will give all you need We order a room for 2)+child but we receive a room with no sofa , like what I saw in the pictures! The breakfast is awesome and there's a variety of great food, vegetables sweets and drinks . Very recommended for stay
Arwa Z — Google review
Overall, the hotel has a nice and unique interior design inspired by the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics, which gives it a cool vibe. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming — definitely a highlight of the stay. The location is a bit of a mixed bag. It's close to the airport and well-connected to the city center by tram (about a 30-minute ride), but the surrounding neighborhood feels quite industrial and rundown, with a lot of old empty hangars. Breakfast was underwhelming. The scrambled eggs were really watery and not enjoyable, though the fruit selection was decent. I stayed here for a business trip and didn’t use any of the other facilities. All in all, not a bad stay, but a few things could be improved.
Darko S — Google review
Well located and great facilities. The only thing I would improve is the breakfast and have an egg station so eggs can be made fresh also replenish the breakfast as if you get there half an hour before the end of breakfast there is nothing left. Give better training to the breakfast staff they were quite rude.

The hotel has a different concept, the staff is generally friendly, the parking is free, it is very nice, the make-up mirror is positioned a little higher, so my wife had a hard time, I think the light in the part where the make-up mirror is is not enough. The hotel is not in a very central location, especially to go to Bascarsi you have to drive 20 minutes. However, we were generally very pleased.
Taner B — Google review
Polite and helpful staff and clean rooms. The tram station „Alipašino Polje“ is just 5-10 minutes far away where you can have a cheap ride to city centre and it just takes 10 minutes to get to the airport by taxi. Right across the street you can find a huge supermarket. Had a nice stay :)

Unforgettable Wedding Experience – Everything Was Perfect! We recently had our wedding at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. I made the reservation through Mrs. Arnela, and from the very beginning, she was incredibly helpful, professional, and supportive. Her guidance and attention to detail made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. The entire staff was welcoming and kind, and every part of our special day was handled flawlessly. The venue was beautifully arranged, creating the perfect atmosphere for a truly memorable celebration. Our room was clean, elegant, and very comfortable – exactly what we needed after such a joyful and emotional day. The housekeeping staff was also exceptionally friendly and courteous, which added to the overall positive experience. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Arnela for her outstanding care and dedication. She truly went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful for everything she did. We highly recommend this hotel for weddings or any special occasion – it was a magical experience from start to finish.

Hotel Hills Sarajevo Congress & Termal spa Resort is a luxurious accommodation nestled in the heart of Sarajevo's green oasis. Boasting 330 well-appointed rooms and suites, this 5-star resort features a state-of-the-art congress center, modern wellness facilities, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, an adrenaline park for both kids and adults, as well as various dining options offering international and national cuisine. Guests can also enjoy panoramic views from the rooftop restaurant and lounge bar.
Airport view was excellent. Kids would love just looking at planes landing and taking off. Try to get a view if you can. Hotel staff for laundry, room service and daily turn over are excellent. The only downside was that it is too far from the city center and takes 25 min cab ride. We had it reserved via our large travel group. Personally for a smaller group I’d stay near old city
Furquaan I — Google review
The hotel is located close to the airport. I booked it as part of a package and an organized tour. The hotel is rated as 5 stars, but the reception area is very modest and doesn’t resemble a 5-star hotel at all. We received our rooms, and while the rooms are spacious, the moment I opened the curtain, I saw the level of cleanliness dust, hair in the drawers, and a sewage smell. Very low standard of cleanliness. The dining hall is large but not well-lit. There is enough food, but the service is terrible. Don’t expect 5-star level service or food. By the way, I asked for an iron they don’t have one, only an ironing service. Not recommended at all.

Hotel Hills is an amazing place! I had the pleasure of attending the Saudi National Day 95 celebration here, and it was truly a wonderful experience. The hotel is elegant, spacious, and very well organized. The atmosphere during the event was festive and unforgettable. The staff were professional, kind, and made everything run smoothly. A perfect venue for such a special occasion — highly recommended!”

The hotel is great. Room is huge with balcony. Staff is friendly. Food on the breakfast buffet was good and more variety. The minus thing is they didn't provide mineral water, they said we can drink from tab water. And no dental kits, until we ask the house keeping to give us. But we will go back again because I love their breakfast buffet, swimming pool and the huge room they provided.
Fenni D — Google review
First of all I'll start with saying the place is not perfect , especially looking at it from the outside ( like most Balkan structures the outside is not kept in meticulous shape) however the story changes once you arrive inside! This place very nice and there's tons of things to do. One day here is not enough truly. 1. The breakfast! Truly exceptional in the choices they offer lots of traditional Bosnian dishes and lots of middle eastern salads a fantastic combination and the amount of choices is more than any other hotel I've stayed at. 2. The spa area is wonderful 8-9 different spas all Wich are in working condition and large enough to fit multiple parties without feeling cramped of claustrophobic. 3. The indoor swimming area is located adjacent to the hotel however connected through some strange hallways and locker room maze, but once you arrive at the pool it is a fantastic experience. The ceiling made of expertly crafted wood and glass and artificial rocks, trees and even a small cave give it an adventurous feel from kids to adults all will enjoy! Not to mention the multiple water massages and roughly 10-12 hot tub/jacuzzi's! 4. The gym is also huge with professional employees and every machine you could possibly want. 5. There is a store inside the resort so anything you need from snacks, drinks, and cigarettes are available without having to pay exorbitant hotel prices. 6. Theres even a niche parfume shop in the building Wich you get a great wiff of as soon as you enter. My only issues were not being able to walk around the hotel in robes but I completely understand there are a lot Muslims here and also locals who do not quite appreciate the modest appearance. And the other thing was my lock on my room didn't work with the key card I had to be given the key and manually open and close the door but those are minor issues in my eyes. I still recommend this resort 9.5/10!
Dzenis A — Google review
The hotel has great swimming pools for both kids and adults – definitely a highlight! 🏊‍♂️👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 But the room experience was disappointing: • Not worth the price – we stayed at cheaper hotels that were much better. 💸 • Bathroom lacked basics – no cotton swabs, no toothbrush, etc. 🪥🚫 • Room key card didn’t work, had to use a physical key due to a door issue. 🔑🚪 • No iron in the room, unlike other hotels in the area. 👕❌ • The safe was broken and couldn’t be used. 🔒⚠️ • Hot water took a long time to heat up. 🚿🥶 • Ventilation in the bathroom was extremely loud, making it uncomfortable. 🔊🚽 ✅ Breakfast was excellent – fresh, diverse, and well-organized. 🥐☕ ✅ Service was fast and friendly, which is a big plus. 😊👏 Overall: Nice pools, great breakfast, and good service – but the room quality, noise issues, and lack of basic amenities don’t justify the price.

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Hill Sarajevo. The location is excellent, very convenient to the airport and only about 30 minutes from the city center. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, which made the experience even better. The hotel itself was spotless, and the breakfast was amazing with plenty of variety and they never ran out of food. The swimming pools were another highlight, with both indoor and outdoor options to enjoy. The only downside was that at the outdoor pool you have to rent the chairs, which felt a little unfair. Other than that, everything was perfect. Highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Sarajevo! And beyond the hotel, I have to say the people of Bosnia 🇧🇦 are truly a great nation—very polite, always ready to help, and they deserve a big round of applause! 👏

If you check in after 10:00 p.m. you will work as a porter . Every time you drive out you should go to busy reception to scan your Parking ticket. The mini bar is not working in my big room. Location is perfect near the airport. I stayed for three nights. ‏ATM , min supermarket and cafe inside. Recreation area outside. It’s better if your children. If you are solo I don’t recommend.

Very big hotel and also very busy . Lot of food but decent quality at breakfast or lunch. Many sports teams , kids and youth so very busy And noisy. Have a pool but never used it . Seems busy with kids learning to swim coming from outside hotel . Their restaurant is pretty good . Eat there once . About 6 euro for the traditional meal of cevpavi ( not sure it spelled correctly )

I’m not usually one to complain, but my recent stay at this hotel has compelled me to speak up. From start to finish, it was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. Over the course of my three-day stay, not once was my room cleaned — no fresh towels, no trash removed, no beds made. For a hotel that claims to offer even basic hospitality, this is completely unacceptable. The reception staff were not only unhelpful but also shockingly rude. Any time I approached them with a concern or question, I was met with indifference, eye-rolls, or short, dismissive answers. It felt like I was an inconvenience to them, rather than a paying guest. The level of customer service was abysmal. As for the room itself — it was dirty upon arrival and stayed that way throughout my stay. The floors looked like they hadn’t been mopped in weeks, there was dust on most surfaces, and the bathroom smelled musty and felt unhygienic. I genuinely felt uncomfortable sleeping there. The general state of the hotel was equally disappointing. Hallways were dimly lit and smelled stale, the elevator was unreliable, and common areas were poorly maintained. I expected a modest stay, but this fell far below even the most basic standards. That said, I want to take a moment to acknowledge the only highlight of my experience — the restaurant staff. They were warm, courteous, and professional every time I visited. They went out of their way to make guests feel welcome and provided excellent service despite the chaos in the rest of the hotel. A sincere thank you to them for their effort and hospitality — they were the only bright spot in an otherwise dismal experience. 👏👏 Unfortunately, even their kindness isn’t enough to save this review. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, and I certainly won’t be returning. There is no excuse for such a lack of cleanliness, professionalism, or basic customer care. DO BETTER ! !

Our trip started off well — the hotel looked clean and welcoming when we arrived. Unfortunately, that changed the moment we interacted with the reception staff. The front desk staff were rude and dismissive from the start, even though my grandfather was speaking to them politely and simply trying to be friendly. Their behavior was cold and unprofessional. The food at the hotel was decent, which was one of the few positives. However, on our second night, the hotel was overrun by a large group of boys (around 100 of them, aged 9–15), who were staying for a soccer event. Their rooms were located directly around ours — we had four rooms together as a family, including several elderly and ill members. At 9 PM, we wanted to rest after a long day, but that became impossible. Around 15 boys were running up and down the halls, knocking on our doors, shouting, and being extremely disruptive. There were no adults — no coaches or parents — around to manage them. We called reception to report the disturbance and were told security would be sent, but nothing happened for over 15 minutes. My grandmother then went to kindly ask the boys to be quiet — they laughed and gave a sarcastic response in Bosnian, which we couldn’t fully understand. The noise continued. My mother also asked them to quiet down — again, they laughed and ran off. Eventually, my elderly grandfather went out and firmly asked them to stop and return to their rooms. That’s when the coaches showed up and, shockingly, began shouting at my grandfather instead of the boys. At that point, my mother and I went to reception to report what had happened — the noise, the lack of supervision, and the coaches yelling at an elderly man. The receptionists responded with, “What do you want us to do?” — completely dismissive and unhelpful. When I insisted that this wasn’t acceptable, they began screaming, called the police, and started recording us. I have photos of the staff involved. Later, a security guard apologized for everyone’s behavior — both the staff and the coaches — and explained that he was the only security officer on duty. He was the only helpful and understanding person we encountered during our stay. To top it off, the hotel facilities were not as advertised: bathrooms were dirty, and some lights in our rooms didn’t work at all. Conclusion: Between the rude and unhelpful reception staff, the uncontrollable noise, the poor facility maintenance, and the unsafe environment for elderly guests, I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. This experience ruined what should have been a peaceful family trip.

A hotel we stayed in as part of our tour program. It is a very large hotel, so it is very crowded and always busy. The rooms were clean. We have no complaints. The breakfast options were not bad. The location is good, there is a shopping mall nearby. There are markets and venues. . It is close to the airport, there were airplane sounds.
Ali B — Google review
We were booked here by our airline, because our flight was cancelled. After arrival, they took our passports and refused, even after repeatedly asking them, to give them back to us. This is completely unacceptable. They wanted to keep them until the next day. Background: Their shift was about to end and they didn't want to do overtime. Ok, I understand that, but still, I'm traveling internationally, so my passport is my most important possession at that point. I've also never encountered a more rude staff member ever in all my years of travel. They must find a better solution than just "screw the customer". The rooms are dated and dirty, which is somewhat to be expected given the price, but a lot of things also didn't work properly. The entire hotel is very dated with outdated technical panels hanging from the walls and broken doors everywhere. We didn't stay the night however, because of the largest issue with this hotel: Fire safety. There were no evacuation plans anywhere - neither in the rooms, nor the hallways, nor the elevators - we checked. We also went down multiple "escape routes", only to find out that none of them lead to the outside and some of them were full of broken furniture or other debris. All of them, yes, ALL of the "escape routes", funneled into the lobby area, which is in the middle of the building with only one single exit - the main exit out the front door which is lined by restaurants, shops, planters, and other obstacles. Honestly, if we can't find a quick and easy way out of the hotel during normal operations, just imagine what would happen if the building was actually on fire. I'm usually not so obsessed with fire safety, but this truly shocked me. Trust me, this would end up on the news. We immediately checked out and went to a proper hotel downtown. Avoid at all cost!
William B — Google review
The breakfast and dinner were delicious and satisfying. The staff were generally warm and polite. However, the rooms need maintenance (such as non-functioning faucets), and the hotel’s fire exits are locked. Considering that a recent fire caused the deaths of dozens of people for this very reason, I believe this issue should be taken seriously.
Ahmet D — Google review
Very disappointing experience at Hotel Hollywood. I don’t understand how this hotel has four stars. The rooms smell very bad, and there is a strong sewage odor right in front of the hotel – like an open manhole. When we asked to change rooms due to the terrible smell, the staff refused and were not helpful at all. There is no customer service, and they seem completely uninterested in solving any problems. This is not what you expect from a 4-star hotel. I do not recommend this place to anyone.

Enjoy high-tech meeting rooms for business needs and relax in the indoor pool or fitness room. Indulge in traditional and international cuisine at Brasserie restaurant.
We had an unforgettable stay at this beautiful hotel in Sarajevo. The location is stunning, and from the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. Every part of our experience was amazing. The staff truly made the difference—so kind and welcoming, from the reception to the restaurant, the spa, and housekeeping. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast-just wow! The view from our room was so beautiful, I am not sure was it better during the day or at night when all the city lights are on! Can't wait to come back!

The hotel overall is comfortable and the rooms are clean, with a decent standard of service. However, we felt that some important information was missing during booking and check-in. It wasn’t clearly communicated that this hotel caters primarily to Muslim guests, which means there are specific restrictions that may affect your stay. For example, the dining options follow halal requirements, alcohol is not available anywhere on the property, and some wellness facilities have usage limitations. For guests aware of these restrictions, the hotel works well and provides a peaceful environment. For others, it would be helpful if these details were clearly stated upfront so expectations are set before arrival.

I slept well and quiet nice place. Breakfast was good. I have only remarks regarding parking place as it is not possible to park in garage before you get the key on reception, so you have to repack later. Even I asked girl on the reception to open the garage so the driver can enter, as he was waiting at the entrance, but she was quite not understanding...she followed just the procedure she learned but very slow, probably she was new and it was obvious.

I want to start my review with excellent customer service. I called Movenpick in the middle of the night around 1am after an emergency doctor's visit for my 11 yr old son. The Airbnb we were staying at flared up his allergies and he was unable to breathe. We had to move out immediately. The call to Movenpick went great. Amil (from the front desk staff) was extremely helpful on the call. After we got to the hotel around 2am, Amil attended us. Excellent service was provided to us by him. He understood our situation and gave us the best price. Thanks Amil. The property and the rooms are very well kept and clean. My son slept peacefully all night 🤍

Hotel Holiday, located in the heart of Sarajevo, is a popular choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience. The hotel features renovated rooms and offers amenities such as a restaurant, gym, spa with saunas and pool, massage facilities, fitness center, and beauty salons. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Despite its older decor, the hotel maintains its charm and provides top-notch service. Guests can enjoy a diverse buffet breakfast catering to various tastes.
We were only there for one night, as we were heading to Mostar the next morning and the hotel’s location is really close to the train station, within walking distance. The lobby is nice, corridors are very outdated, but our room was definitely better than my expectations - very clean, comfortable and modern. After reading some other reviews, I think we got one of the newly renovated rooms as it seems others may have not been as lucky. Breakfast was basic and not very appetising. The staff, however, were extremely friendly and always willing to help.

The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had – avoid at all costs! This place was a complete disaster from start to finish. The staff were shockingly rude and completely indifferent. It felt like guest comfort was the last thing on their minds. The room was tiny, and the bathroom was disgustingly small and poorly cleaned. The toilet area was almost unusable. The air conditioning didn’t work properly – it only blew freezing cold air that couldn’t be adjusted. We were literally shivering in the room.As if that wasn’t enough, there was a cat roaming freely in the corridor. Totally unhygienic and unprofessional.Breakfast was an absolute joke – cold, tasteless, and barely edible. It looked like they just threw some leftovers together. This hotel is not worth a single cent. It was a waste of money and a complete disappointment. Do yourself a favor and don’t even walk past it.

My Honest Review of Hotel Holiday – Sarajevo Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Holiday was very disappointing. From the moment I checked in, I realized this hotel hasn't kept up with modern standards. 🛏 Room The air conditioner in my room wasn't working, which made the stay extremely uncomfortable—especially in warm weather. The room and facilities felt old and worn-out, definitely in need of renovation. 👨‍💼 Service The staff was trying to be helpful, but there’s only so much they can do with an outdated property. I could see the effort, but the overall quality of service was poor. 📍 Location The hotel has a decent location, and you can reach some important spots easily, but that’s probably the only highlight. 🍽 Food I had breakfast, and honestly, I don’t recommend it. It lacked quality and variety, especially for a hotel claiming four stars. 💳 Payment I paid through an agent, and the payment process was not smooth at all. I’d recommend double-checking your booking and method of payment beforehand. 🚗 Parking There is free parking available at the hotel, which was a plus. ♿ Accessibility There are elevators, making it accessible for people with mobility challenges. 🔇 Noise Surprisingly, the hotel was quiet at night, so at least I could sleep without external disturbances.

Ladies at the front desk were very nice. But ,NO pool, sauna or gym. The Whole basement is under construction for what looks to be a very long time so far. However online they deliberately fail to tell you this before booking.. and still have all the pictures of when it had the nice pool and spa facilities.. Not impressed. And they still charge you like the hotel is complete. Too expensive taken this into account. Surly gotta be better options.. if I could get my money back now and leave I would. P.S (To the manager..be transparent and update your website and you may avoid bad reviews like this.. may keep you in a job also) Update after first night. And had to up it to 3 stars because the room is good, shower etc great and has a huge big window that can be opened fully with no silly "safety" latch. The Included breakfast was also pretty good

Beautiful brutalist historic hotel in Sarajevo that has sadly not had the needed investment to keep up to modern standards. The Hotel: A beautiful brutalist structure with a lot of character, however sadly the finish and furnishings just do not show off the architecture in the way it should. Dated old furniture, seemingly abandoned areas on the ground floor, a leaking water fountain in the lobby, cheap white florescent lighting, a reception area right out of a soviet spy novel. The whole thing was really set off by the LED holographic naked-dancing lady advertisement for the local strip club in the lobby beside the elevators. The Room: I was lucky in my group to end up in one of the newly renovated rooms on the 7th floor (others were not so lucky). The main room was spacious and clean, and furniture was new, stylish and functional. However the renovation was only skin deep: some fixtures and fittings had not been renovated and were in terrible condition. There was a large hole in the wall in the bathroom which had been covered by a plastic cover, but the cover had fallen off. The bath and shower were dated and stained. The door to the room looked original from 1984 and didn't close well – there was a chain but it appeared like it had been forced open/closed several times and was bent out of shape. The window mechanism fell apart as soon as I opened it in my room. The door itself only closed if pushed hard, which meant that the room was unlocked for large portions of the day after housekeeping visited. The bathroom was functional but looked dated. A full renovation would be needed to bring this up to a modern standard. The Service: The staff at checkin were friendly and helpful. However housekeeping was extremely haphazard. Some days the room was tidied and the bathroom cleaned, others just towels changed, some days no towel change but bed made, some days no consumables replenished. I used the tea sachets on the first day and these were not replaced until the 4th day despite daily cleaning service. Overall unpredictable. The breakfast was... I mean it was a fun talking point for our group. The breakfast room literally is like stepping into socialist 1984 complete with tobacco-stained curtains, wood paneling and cheap florescent lighting. For some reason the breakfast room seems to have no windows and therefore no natural light. Breakfast is a strange mix of cheap low-quality food options (cheap boiled frozen vegetables, mushy salads, cheap sausages with gristle and bone in) and some other less terrible items (fried eggs were good, smoked cheese, spinach burek was nice). Coffee was extremely bad – most days Nescafé was the only option with a machine dispensing slightly brown water masquerading as instant coffee. Some days there was another machine dispensing real coffee but this was also bad just not quite as bad as the other machine... Overall a strange and interesting experience but not one that I would like to repeat...!

What an absolute dump. I don’t usually use words like this but can’t think of anything else to describe this place. It is stuck in the 80s if not earlier. The rooms are large but furnished with very old furniture. The bed is soft and we didn’t sleep well. The windows don’t keep the noise out, so we had the building next doors aircon noise droning away 24/7. And there are so many notices around telling you what you can’t do otherwise you will get charged for it. And the breakfast was a joke. We arrive just after 8am and most things were empty. The food was bland and cold. Many things needed replenishing. The orange juice was yuk and very watery. We didn’t bother with the coffee as couldn’t get anywhere near the machine due to other people in the way. The waiters were surly and not very friendly. We didn’t book the hotel, it was part of a prearranged packaged but will definitely be sharing this feedback with our travel agents. Do yourselves a favour. Don’t bother. There are much nicer 4 star hotels around, I’m sure. There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. It is cold, depressing and uninviting.

My honest review of Hotel Holiday, Sarajevo Stepping into the Holiday in Sarajevo is like entering a time capsule, unfortunately one that has not been dusted off since 1984. The building itself is a relic of bold, futuristic architecture from the Yugoslav days, with a lobby that still impresses at first glance. But that is where the good news ends. Once you move past the nostalgia, you are left wondering whether this hotel is truly a better choice than spending the night in a dumpster. To be fair, it does win by a slim margin. Arriving at the entrance sets the tone. With a noisy construction site next door, cars parked wherever they please, and a hotel employee occasionally shouting at drivers like a frustrated traffic cop, there is no organization at all. Enter the lobby and you will notice only one of the sliding doors works. Right after that broken entrance, a giant advertisement for a striptease club welcomes you. The reception area has not been updated since Sarajevo hosted the Winter Olympics, and the staff seem to have missed out on any hospitality training. Do not be fooled by the website photos of “renovated” rooms. Most floors were left untouched and the majority of rooms look exactly as they did decades ago. Our own room was not renovated. Carpets were grim, furniture broken, and the bed both hard and springy. Lighting was so poor we felt like we were living in permanent twilight. The AC unit appeared original, filters untouched, while broken outlets made us question whether plugging in a phone was safe. Showering was another challenge. Unless you have mastered the art of water control, you will flood the bathroom. A sign reading “do not shower outside of bathtub” made it even more absurd. To top it off, our room came with a price list for every single item, as if anyone would want to steal the worn-out furniture. Then there is the shopping mall bizarrely bolted onto the side of the hotel. As a result, some rooms face a blank wall or, worse, a roaring AC system from the mall. Breakfast is its own saga. Signs lead you to a depressing, windowless room where daylight is literally blocked by the mall’s walls. Only later, if another guest takes pity on you, do you discover a second breakfast room with windows. Wi-Fi in the rooms is almost non-existent, with only faint traces detectable in the lobby. In the middle of the lobby a fountain leaks water all over the floor, and nobody seems to care. The swimming pool is still advertised but is actually closed. The entire scene feels like a metaphor for how this once-celebrated hotel is being run. The real insult is the price, over €100 a night. At that rate, this is not just disappointing, it feels like a property being kept alive only to extract as much money as possible. I have stayed in plenty of hotels in need of renovation, but where management still tried their best with what they had. Here, everything reeks of corporate neglect and a “who cares” attitude. I also cannot reconcile my experience with the glowing 5/5 reviews online, because it feels like we are not talking about the same place. This hotel used to be one of the architectural prides of Sarajevo. Today it is a disaster. We traveled with a small group and had a long discussion about the state the hotel is in, which is why I decided to write this review in the hope it might nudge management toward change. Unless you are an urban archaeologist researching the decline of Yugoslav modernism, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

Nestled in the town of Ilidza, Heritage Hotel Krone is a charming boutique hotel housed in a century-old Austro-Hungarian villa. The hotel's historic facade gives way to modern and vibrant rooms, featuring bold colors and contemporary furnishings. Guests can enjoy Bosnian grills, pizza, and sushi at the on-site restaurant or relax in the spa center.
★★★★★ 5/5 We had a wonderful iftar at Krone Ilidža! My friends and I truly enjoyed every moment. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the food was delicious. Special compliments to the chef Mirsad-Miki for not only preparing such beautifully meals, but also for his kindness and hospitality—it really made a difference. Also, a big thank you to the waitstaff for their service. Highly recommended!

The hotel’s location is perfect and close to everything you need. The rooms are clean, well-organized, spacious, and fully equipped. The breakfast is varied, delicious, and very clean. The staff service is limited only due to the language barrier.

Hotel Krone is a great choice for a stay! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff is very kind and professional. The location is excellent, with everything within easy reach. I enjoyed every moment and would definitely come back again!

This hotel has a potential to be quite good , unfortunately it is not! Reception stuff is absolutely horrible! Blonde lady at the front desk was very unpleasant, unprofessional and rude. Rooms need major cleaning and renovation. It is “ halal” certified hotel with black mirror ceiling above bad?? Quite contradictory I would say. Our room was on main floor overlooking busy street. We asked for room with better view and were told they are fully booked which was not the case! Breakfast buffet was pretty good with an exception of one morning not being set up even after 7:20 where it clearly states that breakfast starts at 7. Also restaurant stuff would not greed guests we were always first one saying hello or good morning. No need to say that I will not be back at this hotel.

Hotel Central is a refined property located in the heart of Sarajevo, offering stylish rooms and modern amenities for travelers. The Austro-Hungarian building houses just 15 rooms with historic charm and contemporary furnishings. Guests can enjoy the on-site restaurant, spa, and indoor pool. The hotel's state-of-the-art basement spa features a swimming pool, sauna, steam room, and treatment suites for relaxation.
Sarajevo is not Paris....and that is okay. This is a gritty city, and you need to know that before you visit. It has a long and at times painful history. The Hotel Central was unpretentious and a truly central location. The staff were super helpful. We highly recommend this hotel.

Central hotel of Sarajevo is certainly beautiful, well maintained, centrally located with many attractions within reach. The staff were friendly, and helpful. Overall the hotel is comfortable, cozy, relaxing…. Facilities & amenities meet the standard of four stars hotel. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choices. I will certainly recommend this hotel to stay.

The hotel doesn't have a king-size bed. They push two single beds together and sell them as king-size beds. When you arrive at the hotel later, you're disappointed. There are no double bedding in the rooms. The curtains on the windows don't cover them. The bathroom sink constantly overflows. The staff is generally polite, but they don't solve your problems. You can see from the photos how dirty the environment is. It's not worth the money you pay. I have never stayed in a worse hotel.

Bosmal Arjaan by Rotana is a modern property located in the lively city of Sarajevo. It offers 132 fully serviced one, two, and three-bedroom hotel apartments that are elegantly designed with the latest technology, catering to both short and long-term guests as well as families. The property features a trendy all-day dining restaurant called Urban cafe.deli, a fitness center, and two fully-equipped meeting rooms.
Wonderful Stay at Bosmal Arjaan! We had an absolutely amazing stay at Bosmal Arjaan. The hotel is modern, elegant, and truly beautiful – both inside and out. You can tell that great attention has been paid to every detail, and the entire place radiates quality. Cleanliness was outstanding throughout our stay. The room was spotless upon arrival, and housekeeping was consistently excellent. It was a pleasure to stay somewhere so well-maintained and comfortable. A special thank you goes to the staff, especially Suana, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived. A big highlight was the team in the sauna area – they were not only professional but also exceptionally kind, making the experience even more enjoyable with their warmth and great service. Overall, a fantastic hotel that we wholeheartedly recommend – and one we will definitely return to!

Pros: Very large apartments with nice city view. Good food and nice service, kind staff. Quite neighborhood. Relatively close to the airport. Building and furniture were in good shape. Cons: Away from city center. Need to walk to tram station to get to the touristic attractions. There are not many restaurants, coffee shops, in the neighborhood. Charging app 10 USD for ordering food as room service. Never seen this before. My bedroom tv did not work. Airport pick up was asked 60 BAM but taxi only costs 10 BAM.

Excellent stay. Good Tram and bus links. Hotel is modern and clean. Staff are really attentive and helpful and good with kids. It's a business style hotel, good fitness facility. Parking available, good communication skills by all staff. They sort out problems quickly and are very welcoming. A nice safe area. About 30mins to old town with public transport. Plenty of food shops within 10 mins walking distance. If travelling with children it may be beneficial to stay closer to the city centre but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the feel of the hotel

I had a very disappointing experience during my stay. Here are the main issues I faced: 1. The room service was terrible. On the first day, we called for extra blankets and got no answer. We called again the next day and were told there was no service. It wasn’t until the third day that we finally received the blankets. 2. When the cleaning staff came to our room, they banged on the door hard and entered without waiting for us to respond, which felt rude and intrusive. 3. They didn’t clean the room well at all. Instead of changing the bed sheets, they simply tidied the bed. The bathroom were not cleaned properly . 4. We had to ask two to three times for the bed sheets to be changed. Even after multiple requests, it took days for them to respond. 5. The beds were dirty and full of hair and stains . It was honestly disgusting. 6. There was a spider web in one of the rooms. 7. To top it all off, we found bed bugs, which made our stay incredibly uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here due to the poor cleanliness and terrible service

We just took a group of 40 for a cycling charity event. The hotel facilities and service was fantastic. Breakfast was provided at 5am outside the usual time to accommodate our early starts. The room service was always available. The room apartments were excellent. Big thank you to Amir who looked after us very well throughout 👍🏽
A A — Google review
During my stay at Bosmal Arjaan by Rotana, I encountered several disappointing experiences that I feel compelled to share. Firstly, the staff were consistently rude, unable to smile, and did not treat guests with the welcoming attitude one would expect. Communication was poor, and they were unwilling to explain any concerns in a polite manner. To add to the frustration, an amount was deducted from my card one day before my arrival, yet I was asked to pay again upon checkout. This double charging was highly inconvenient and unprofessional. Traveling as a family of 7 adults and 7 children, we were shocked when the hotel refused to provide breakfast for all of us, offering it only for 2 adults and 1 child. The worst part of our stay was the cleaning service. The bathrooms and apartment were never properly cleaned, and the staff only organized the beds. Despite visible dirty spots and our complaints, nothing was done to improve the cleanliness. Manager Amir was particularly rude and unhelpful. He threatened us without listening or understanding our situation, even after we explained multiple times. Having stayed in over 50 hotels worldwide, this was by far the worst experience. I would not recommend anyone to stay here as it is not worth the money and will ruin your vacation mood.

Multiple times stayed at this hotel, with great service, perfect location, spacious and clean rooms or better to say apartments, and stunning views. Breakfast is also amazing, so many different options. Gym is very well equipped. And to some of us really important thing - transfers, doesn’t matter what time of the day or night, warm or cold weather, always on time and on our service. Definitely staying here again!

Hotel Sana is a trendy accommodation option located in the heart of Sarajevo's Old Town. The renovated townhouse offers bright quarters with minimalist Scandinavian design and quirky lighting details. Despite the relatively small rooms, the hotel provides indulgent touches like color-coordinated orchids and a charming terrace for relaxation. Additionally, guests can enjoy amenities such as parking, a garden, and an on-site restaurant with a terrace.
We stayed in one of the rooms on the top floor. Its window didn’t overlook the outside but rather the sky. Seeing the stars at night and waking up to the view of the sun in the morning was wonderful. The bathroom, bed—everything was clean. The only negative thing I can say about the room is that it took a long time to warm up. Other than that, the hotel's location was very central and close to everything. As for the breakfast, I have stayed in many hotels of a similar standard abroad, but this hotel's breakfast might be the best I have ever had. Different staff members work at the reception, and all of them were friendly and polite. Thank you once again for everything! For our next trip to Sarajevo, we already know where we’ll be staying. ☺️

Great boutique hotel located in old town, perfect for exploring Sarajevo, it’s history, great cafés, excellent restaurants, and museums. The breakfast is excellent with real eggs, meat, selections, pastries, fruit juices, yogurt, bar, and additional fixings. The rooms are comfortable, the air conditioning works, each room has great views, the inside is modern with a traditional twist, and the showers have great water flow. Laundry service is available and it’s very reasonable. We washed about 40 articles of clothing and it cost $20. Highly recommend this place.

Rooms are nice but bit smaller than expected. I was on second level so didn't have any views except old building across. Breakfast is nice, location great 😃. Unfortunately TV in my room didn't work - asked for assistance but was told not possible, luckily didn't stay much indoors

I had room 104. it is not a room, it is a closet. Room length: 250cm. Room width: 120cm. Bed width: 70cm. The window lead to a dark lightwell. Approx. 100cm by 100cm in dark grey colour. With a perforated plate on top so that no larger objects can fall down. The bathroom was comparably large with a nice shower. However, the toilet was squeezed between the wall and the shower. No possibility to clean yourself with paper. The room was extremely poorly soundproofed. When a toilet flushed in the floors above it sounded like it flushes through your head. I didn‘t need an alarm clock as the noise from the kitchen woke me up. I travel 8000km per year by motorbike and have never ever experienced a place like this, on top they charged me 65€ per night for a place worse then a hostel. Complete rip-off!!!!! I would love to add fotos to support

Hotel Colors Inn, situated in the heart of Sarajevo on Kosevo Street, offers a vibrant and contemporary stay for travelers. Housed in a charming Austro-Hungarian building, the hotel has been transformed into an oasis of comfort by young architects who preserved the city's architectural spirit while adding urban details and colors. The modern and stylish decor creates a welcoming atmosphere, complemented by spacious, well-equipped rooms with amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, and minibars.
Mirela is a perfect example of how essential good front office staff is. From helping us with a smooth checkin to addressing our specific needs the hotel and it's staff have been terrific. Absolutely loved the breakfast over the course of my stay and appreciate the welcome card and snacks that were provided. Great job for painting such a lovely picture of Bosnia through your hospitality and care for your guests which quite often big brand hotels are unable to provide.

I am currently residing in it and I have three days left of my stay in it. I do not need to stay after my stay. I will evaluate it now. It is truly the most beautiful accommodation I have stayed in in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with all its hotels that have the same stars. It also outperforms a hotel that is actually five stars, I will not mention its name, and it is in Mostar because I enjoy here everyone who can deal with people, cleanliness, and hospitality. All the people here are wonderful. Thank you to this great hotel with everything in it.

It was our last hotel stay during our trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina, & it was one of the best! The rooms were super clean, the towels, bedsheets and almost everything. Honestly it’s been a while since I have felt at ease during a stay in a hotel room. The room and the bathroom were prepared with almost everything u might need, they even had a full pack of makeup remover wipes, however one missing item was the lotion, which I can’t really complain about. Here are a few things that I noted, the wall separating the room and the bathroom shower was made of type of material that is a kinda see-through, which wasn’t very comfortable. In addition, the sound isolation between rooms is not the best. During my stay it was my family in the other two adjacent rooms so it was kinda ok 😅 The parking isn’t the best however there are a lot of nearby stores, cafes, restaurants, etc., that are within walking distance. The breakfast buffet was something that I looked forward to each morning, it felt cozy and warm each time I went there. I can’t forget about the kind staff, they were very welcoming and greeted us with a smile every time we went outside or came in, even if it was 5 times a day :). They were quick to make our requests happen and always made sure everything we needed is met. In the end, we had a pleasant stay in the Colors inn Hotel, it is for sure one of the hotels that I would stay at again!

Our first time in Sarajevo, we were attending a wedding. This hotel was perfect for our 3 night stay. We stayed in room 603, it was so gorgeous... the bed was massive and very comfortable, and the whole place was spotless. The roof terrace was just outside our door, it was the most relaxing place for our morning coffee, it was very hot in Sarajevo during our trip, but the terrace stayed in shade until later in the morning. The breakfast was totally amazing. I follow a Ketogenic diet and it's not always easy to find things to eat, but Colors Inn cater for everybody and the choice was second to non. Also they varied things, and every morning we found something new! All of the staff were very friendly and beyond helpful, I really don't think we could have asked for more. I totally recommend this hotel. It was small enough to be very personable, and offered everything you need.

Isa Begov Hamam i Hotel is a unique boutique lodging in Sarajevo, offering a luxurious experience with its storied hammam and hot tub. The hotel is housed in a converted hammam that dates back to 1890 and was originally part of a complex with the Careva Mosque. Its location provides easy access to various amenities, public transport, and cultural sites. Guests can enjoy an authentic Turkish experience with free access to the best hammam in town.
Everything was right. The staff, the effort, possibility to use hamam or other services, comfy beds, clima convectors that heat or cool the room in an instant, the distance to the centre with restaurants, the set off point to go for sightseeing run but what made me melt was the breakfast. What an omelette I had! Crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Just perfect. Generally the mezze type breakfast was top. I couldn't recommend more. Sarajevo with this place as an accommodation just ties together very well.

Amazing location close to Sarajevo’s old town; only a couple of minutes walk to baščašija and all the main tourist locations. The hotel aesthetic is traditional and was a perfect place to spend our first night in Sarajevo. We arrived around 9am and the staff were able to accomodate us leaving our bags for a few hours before check in. The staff were friendly and able to assist with booking taxis from the airport and to the train station.

I went to get a massage at this hamam with a friend. The massage room was not relaxing and the massage bed was just a table, without proper head support. I was massaged by a man, although the hamam is women-only in certain hours, and no choice was given to me although I was not comfortable. The massage itself was not good, the masseuse clearly was not properly trained. During the massage, the masseuse brought another person that worked there into the room without letting us know, to start massaging a painful spot on my friends’ back, hurting her and not asking for permission. Afterwards she made rude comments about our bodies and weight. The management did nothing and barely reacted. This was the worst massage and service in Sarajevo. Highly disappointing.

Not worth the money The hotel is centrally located and the building beautiful. The staff was with one exception friendly. Unfortunately, my room was next to the road and quite noisy(no change possible, I was told that ,,Sarajevo is a noisy city”). Old hotel. The lobby smells like an old swamp because of the sulfur water used in the rehabilitation department. Rooms with old furniture. The shower is also old and needs renovation. Sheets are not changed. Robe once during our entire stay and even the one we left on the floor was not changed. Breakfast is mediocre or worse. Everything was excellent and good and going in the right direction, but it was ruined by the lack of respect and unprofessionalism of the security guard in charge of the parking, as he repeatedly harassed us in a rude and impolite manner as if he was trying to provoke us. I was driving my own car with my 85-year-old father, and I stopped in front of the gate to let my father get out the car, with the help of my brother, and it took no more than 20 seconds. The security guard rushed several times with rudeness and rude orders to move immediately saying that this is prohibited, even though the road is empty and there were no other cars, not appreciating the elderly. Knowing that some are allowed to stand and wait (I don't know if the tip plays a role in that or not?!) A simple mistake made us cancel the idea of returning to this place, despite my father’s satisfaction with this clinic, but respect is above all. If it weren't for Dr. Osama and his kind treatment, I wouldn't have completed my stay in this place. ((I do not recomend at all))

One of the worst customer service youll ever experience, genuinely horrible. Some employees don't even speak a word of English which is funny for a hotel, the gym's like a sauna and ventilation is never on in addition to permenantly closed balconies just for show.
Mahmoud H — Google review
Me and a friend stayed in the hotel for 3 nights as part of excursion we booked and got all sorts of experiences. The hotel had prepared for us "dinner" due to later arrival(one spoon of morning salad,2 slices of bread with a piece of dry chiken breast and a sausage and no fork or knife). The first evening we found out there was no warm water or proper air-conditioning to warm ourselves. As well we noticed that one of the spa robes had such a hole in it that you could put 3 fingers in it.The towels were clean but we're mix of old and new.Once we got to bed there was this ventilation noise that didn't stop or went away(even though our air-conditioning was not working).Day 2 -while we were away the maids went in to clean and forgot to leave a feet tower(the one you put on the floor).Later I will share why this was important. In the evening the technician came to check water and air-conditioning issue but there was nothing he could do.Later at the restaurant we were declined entrance because booking department and restaurant didn't synch which guest had paid dinner. There was this diligent host that didn't speak English so instead of helping he made a very nonchalant sign showing the reception and taking no action to help. After extended argument between our group guide, the reception and the host we were allowed to enter.Switching to day 3 :I woke up early and due to the lack of towel on the floor and the technician leaving a wet puddle in the bathroom the evening prior I slipped and fell. I injured my ankle and wrist.Thank God it wasn't that serious and I am young person.Last evening in the room of our friends there was a huge black cockroach that reception came and personally removed. Yes the location was perfect, the rooms were ok,the food was not bad but not good either(no fruit ever) the staff could work on their soft skills but due to the above-mentioned circumstances it's hard for me to leave higher score.I hope this would help the hotel improve.

Very Disappointing Stay June 7th – June 14th 2025 The hotel lacked basic amenities — no fridge, safe, phone, or kettle — and the shower only had cold water. Staff were rude and refused to change our room when we asked. Breakfast was poor, with stale food and bad coffee. Overall, a very uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. Not recommended.

Terrible place. We got a room with malfunctioning lock. We couldn’t leave the room because the doors wouldn’t lock themselves. They send a technician over who couldn’t fix it. After a few phone calls with the reception saying they don’t have any other room we booked another place and left. At the reception they suddenly offered us a new room and told us we have to pay. After an argument we left without paying but god what a terrible place. Just book Heritage hotel Krone. It is few metres down the road and you’ll be much better off.

A XXXL size COCKROACH in my bathroom!!!! I don’t want to breakfast after saw it. I paid city tax for my group, reception didn’t give me invoice, the lady said only: we will email to the travel agency. We didn’t receive any email until we checked out. Under my insistence, I got a paper to prove that I paid 82€.

Hotel President in Sarajevo is a modern and well-rated hotel located in the city center, close to historical attractions like the Latin Bridge, Sebilj Fountain, and Bascarsija Street. The hotel offers warmly decorated rooms with classy interiors and modern amenities such as air conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and private bathrooms with hot tubs. Guests can enjoy complimentary breakfast and access to a terrace with city views.
The hotel is in a great location. The car park is a bit tight if you drive a larger car. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as most of the hot items were cold or luke warm at best. Still a good experience overall.

Fantastic location and service with a wide spread at breakfast. However rooms are directly in view of the busy street outside with flimsy sheer curtains and solid curtains that don't fully close so you're guaranteed to be woken up by the sun or people can see inside. And rooms are super dark, definitely not enough light to make it feel inviting or welcoming. I would really not recommend staying here, best to stay at the Marriott or elsewhere.
Boris S — Google review
Superb location near old city center. Large rooms, good breakfast buffet. For me, the bed was extremely hard, making it very uncomfortable, even after they added a “topper” (felt more a slim cover, than a Scandinavian style soft topper).
Markus S — Google review
Slightly dated but otherwise excellent room (402). Phenomenal balcony and a location that can’t be beat. Towels were quite scratchy and a bit cheap, but otherwise everything at the hotel including the breakfast and the service were excellent.

Definitely a 5 🌟 hotel for Bosna standards. Location is unbeatable. Breakfast menu could be improved but you have a heap of cafes at the front door as an alternative option.
Dejan J — Google review
The location is easy to reach, but the hotel has no parking and the entrance feels like jumping over hurdles — not fitting for a hotel. The room design is poor and uncomfortable, and the staff’s attitude was unprofessional, with no flexibility or hospitality. A disappointing experience that I would not repeat

Excellent greeting on arrival from valet parking staff, reception staff Haris & Aldijana who gave us an upgrade to a junior suite which was absolutely amazing, clean and all the Mod cons including fully loaded mini bar. The best sleep i have ever had in a hotel, the beds were so comfortable, the pillows were so soft, we didn’t want to wake up. Very welcoming staff in the restaurant who we were able to chat to, the most delicious selection of breakfast hot and cold and the coffee is to die for. Secure parking will put you at rest too, all of that and the cream on the cake was the Hotel is right in the heart of the city in the hustle and bustle of the shopping centre. On departure the reception staff were amazing too, if i could rank this more than 5⭐️ i would give this hotel all these stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great job everybody and keep up the excellent standards you are delivering. Ps: and last but not least Dont forget the cleaning staff who make sure the hotel is kept up to the highest standards, please show your gratitude and leave them a tip. Would definitely highly recommend this hotel. See you next year Mr Ramadan

Had a lovely stay here last month. The housekeeping team in particular deserves recognition- they clean the room in such detail daily without fail, no matter what time we left the room. They always replaced the linen without asking. The staff at reception were also kind and helpful. For the decent price, was an excellent location. Carpets in the rooms could be modernised (very dark colour, patterned) but overall neat and tidy rooms. The perfect stay, thank you all.

I had a disappointing experience during my stay. The service was lacking, as there was no one available to assist with luggage. On the first night, we expressed that our room was small, but the staff informed us that there were no larger rooms available according to the map. Additionally, when I called the reception to request water on the second day, I was told it was time to check out. Overall, I felt that the service did not meet my expectations.
Sa A — Google review
My experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below the standards expected of a five-star property. • The room was very small and, worse, not clean upon arrival. • The bathroom was unhygienic, with visible dirt and poor maintenance. • Housekeeping was inconsistent and unreliable — the room was not cleaned daily, and I had to request it multiple times with little to no response. • The bed linens and pillows were clearly not clean, and extremely uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep. • The air conditioning did not work properly, and instead of cooling the room, it blew warm air — a serious issue, especially in hot weather. • The reception staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, showing no interest in assisting guests or addressing concerns. Frankly, this hotel does not deserve its five-star rating — I would rate it two stars at best. I do not recommend it to anyone seeking comfort, cleanliness, or professional service. This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had, and I will certainly not return.
Ahmed A — Google review
We booked this hotel because it was close to the airport, but I regret not reading the reviews beforehand. The room was spacious, but cleanliness was a major issue. The bathroom had a strong urine odor, and it was obvious it hadn’t been properly cleaned. There was residue on the toilet and even on the bathroom door, which was very disappointing. This hotel seriously needs a new cleaning staff.
Sam B — Google review
I was curious about the hotel, but I didn’t stay due to the many negative reviews I read. I decided to try the café, hoping for a pleasant experience, but unfortunately, the staff were extremely rude and openly discriminatory towards us as tourists. They treated some customers kindly while being cold, dismissive, or even hostile to others based solely on appearance. Such racist and unfair behavior is unacceptable, especially since we came to spend our money like any paying customer, not for free. This made the visit very uncomfortable and disappointing. A friendly staff should make all guests feel welcome, regardless of who they are. Honestly, I wish I could highlight more positives, but the negative experience was so overwhelming. To be fair, the café itself is nice, the desserts were good, and the location is very strategic.

100/100 Best comfortable short stay lomg stay accommodation. Highly recommend everyone who want to have a piece of mind in terms of parking, safety, peaceful and comfortable mattress. Best Customer Service by Hannah and her colleagues. Ambiance is neat and clean and well decorated. Additional benefit having fountain garden with kids activities in evening. Included Breakfast is ultimate and good. Ala carte Dinner food items are probably not the best ones and not worthy of value of money. I tried the beef steak medium well which tasted bad and was over cooked with oily sauted vegetables. Definitely NO to food items. There are although some improvements required but my experience was really good and that's why I chose this hotel twice for my stay.

I had a very bad experience at this hotel, and I am really disappointed. Unfortunately, somebody reserved a single room for me in there (room no.101) directly next to the elevator. The room was so small, unclean and the smell was so bad and untolerable. The carpet was not clean at all. I arrived very late at night after spending more than 14-hours in airports & flights. I was so tired that I could not leave this hotel and look for a better one. I went to the receiptionist asking him to transfer me to another room better than that one. He was so uncooperative and careless telling me that the cleaner person said it is clean. In fact, he offered to give me an air-refreshener for the bad odor in the room which is a bad solution. Although I was exhausted and needed to sleep, I could't. I waited till early morning then I left the room then the hotel. They really ruined my vacation. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL.

We are visitors from Malaysia and we stayed at this hotel for 2nights when we were in Sarajevo. We had a great experience at this hotel, with its modern outlook, good facilities, sumptuous breakfast and dinner, as well as friendly staff. Nearby the hotel, there are public transportations, shops, and also a mosque within walking distance. Worth the stay, good value for money.

Oh boy, where do I even start? • Reservations: We had three confirmed Booking.com reservations for single rooms. At check-in, they smiled and told us, “Sorry, only two rooms available.” Five minutes later, a bus with 30 people pulls up – and magically, everyone gets a room. Impressive logistics. • Security: After a full day at the AWS Conference, I return to find my room wide open and serviced – with my belongings still inside (luckily untouched). Great to know housekeeping is more committed to airing out my room than keeping it locked. • Parking: If there’s no parking spot left, don’t expect help. They won’t bother opening the extra gate, just in case a bus might arrive. Because, you know, hypothetical buses clearly rank higher than paying guests. • Billing: The grand finale – the bill. They added multiple city taxes to make the numbers match, including child taxes. Small detail: we didn’t bring any children. But hey, at least someone’s imaginary kids got charged. Overall? Zero organization, zero professionalism, and zero common sense. A total disaster – unless you enjoy being a punchline on your own holiday. Here is little something, view from the room. Cheers!

My experience at this hotel was quite disappointing. While the initial welcome was fine, the room conditions were unacceptable. When we returned to the room in the evening, we found a large spider and insects in the bed. Reporting this to the staff was met with indifference, and despite repeated requests, the issue was not resolved properly. We spent the entire night checking for more pests and trying to clean the room ourselves, which was extremely frustrating. The staff’s dismissive attitude and their attempt to normalize the situation was unacceptable for a four-star hotel, especially at a rate of around 100 euros per night. Despite our clear dissatisfaction, no compensation or even a sincere apology was offered. This was an incredibly frustrating experience, and I would not recommend this hotel.

Just checked in Koncept Residence Hotel in Sarajevo. The toilet seat had one long hair strand and 3 little curled ones. I took these pictures right away and then I called reception and informed them then I called the travel agent and showed them to him. The manager turned to me and said that it was cleaned and we used the bathroom, insinuating that I'm lying then she raised her voice and said you should have called reception. I raised my voice telling her that she means im lying then i was trying to leave the room she blocked the way and then proceeded to try to claim I pushed her when I tried to leave. I told her that I was trying to leave but she then pushed me to show how she was allegedly pushed. She continued to yell until the travel agent came and took her away to resolve the issue. I would never go there again.

Hotel Aziza exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome—genuinely kind, helpful, and always ready with a smile. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the heart of Sarajevo’s Old Town, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were immaculate—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail, from the fresh linens to the modern design, added to a truly pleasant stay. If you’re visiting Sarajevo, Hotel Aziza is a must. Amazing staff, unbeatable location, and top-tier cleanliness—everything you could ask for in a memorable hotel experience!

Very good location 7-10 minutes walk from the old town. Only back you will have to walk along a sloping street up the hill. We traveled in a group of 23 people from Latvia with our own cars. The hotel staff was very responsive and helped to park all our cars at the hotel. Very tasty breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. Special thanks for the comfortable pillows. The staff is very friendly, helpful and responsive. We definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Sarajevo. The hotel does not have its own restaurant for dinner, but the staff recommended restaurants in the old town. You can pay by card at the hotel.

Hotel Aziza is a true gem! Everything was spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere felt warm and homey – like staying with family rather than in a hotel. The location is excellent, just a few minutes’ walk from the city center and all the main attractions. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Sarajevo! Andrija, Montenegro

A hotel with a very interesting and unique love story of Mehmed and Aziza. Each room is special because the numbering follows the years of the family’s most important events - the opening of their bakery, the year they met, their wedding, and the birth of their children and grandchildren. The hotel is located in the old town, the room was clean with a beautiful view of the city, and there was a very pleasant fragrance in the hallways. Breakfast is also included in the price. Thank you for preserving and sharing your history!

This hotel provided a terrible experience. After initially communicating with them and trying to book, they blocked me on social media and stopped responding to any of my attempts to reach out. Hotel VIP is very comfortable and in a great location within walking distance of all the main sights in the city. It is a small hotel with buffet service for breakfast. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with a convenient tea/coffee making stations. Carpet could be a bit cleaner but nothing too bad. The bathroom was spacious and the under-floor heating was such a wonderful bonus. A small terrace on the top floor allowed for some wonderful photos of the mountains in the morning and evening. Quiet location away from main road.
Sabia A — Google review
The room was big and clean. Also, the location of the hotel was very convenient. It’s a shame that they’re not more transparent about having no staff at reception after 4pm. I would have thought twice before booking. I was left an envelope with my name on it with my room keys. I was also given a set of instructions and provided with a mobile number if I had any questions or emergency. I called the number several times as my hot water wasn’t working and I needed an iron but there was no answer. I managed to get through to someone late night and they said they will reset the heating but there’s no issue, even though they didn’t investigate. Breakfast is basic and totally not worth it. I was checking out early and needed a taxi so I asked the receptionist when they did actually come in to sort this for me and I wanted some reassurance given my experience on the first night with the water and he was very defensive and standoffish with me. I was due on a tour the following day and found myself having to follow up to make sure they sorted this. Overall, I paid £150 for this hotel and just don’t think it was worth the price given they have no one actually running the service here. Very disappointing!

The hotel is in a good location, the old town is in walking distance and there is a small grocery store across the road. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and very spacious. Sound proofing could be improved, as the noise of people walking up the stairs or children playing in the room above were audible. This however was not loud enough to keep us awake at night and I would book accommodation at this hotel again in the future.

There is no reception worker they left a paper note that there is no one in hotel there was a phone number to call but they never answered. There is no hot water. Room was too much smelling bad. Hotel VIP review This hotel will make your experience in Sarajevo perfect. The hotel has an excellent location just a couple minutes walk from ‘Pigeon Square’ and the rest of the old town (restaurants, shopping, mosques, etc). It is located in a quiet back lane with a supermarket nearby. There is parking available which can be tricky with hotels in the old part of Sarajevo. The 9 rooms in the hotel are spacious and clean. The WiFi is very strong throughout the hotel, and the breakfast is quite good as well. I have to say though, that it is the staff which really stand out here. They are all extremely friendly and go out of their way to help in any way they can. Somehow this hotel has managed to employ several genuinely amazingly friendly people! A special acknowledgement goes to Elma, with whom my wife and I had several conversations which we really enjoyed. It was a pleasure coming back to the hotel each day and having a good chat! This hotel is great, but it’s staff are superb!

With its pleasant staff and convenient amenities such as on-site parking, this new and clean boutique hotel is ideal for both business and family travelers.
Lovely hotel! I have to say the best part of the experience was the amazing Ali at reception. His warmth and 5-star service was something I have rarely seen in the hotel industry. I hope management seriously consider what an asset he is to them. My mother, who was a nervous driver, had some difficulty with the parking, but Ali assisted us with such enthusiasm and we left all the parking to him. It was a pleasure seeing him, with such positive demeanour each day. Faruk was also excellent - very kind, helpful and respectful. Our room (305) at the top was lovely, and we were overall satisfied with our stay. For the price of the hotel, however, the breakfast should definitely be improved (fried eggs were served cold everyday, few vegetable and fruits options that were good, etc). I also recommend checking in with hotel before hand if you plan to drive to the hotel (you may not want to take the google map route).

It is really nice that the accommodation has a sauna and a pool. The breakfast is pretty ok - in the photo it's only part of the breakfast. The earlier you come the warmer it is. The room was always clean. I loved that the bathroom floor is heated. The location is great, close to old city center. You can pay with card. We initially booked a Deluxe room with city view, but they didn't have a double bed, only twin beds - although the title said it can be double or twins.

First of all I would like to thank the guy at the reception he was extremely nice and friendly and could speak English as well. The only reason why I gave 4 not 5 starts was my room. I was disappointed but I came late from the airport and have stayed just for two nights so I didn't want to change it as I was so tired. The room number was 305, I didn't care about the view at all but it was really small. My family came a day later as far as I remember they were in 301 suit it was really great!!!! My room was small and smelled really bad. And I didn't have any towels but thanks to the guy at the reception he gave me a couple. After HK came in the morning I ve got two more cleas towels. The first day I went to the breakfast really early and it was really good the next day we went together with my family almost everything was finished. The hotel is around 7 minutes walking to the old city, around 5 minutes walking to shop Amko where they accept cards. All in all it is a nice hotel. They have just 4 parking slots. The 5th on in infront of the hotel at the street. It is a quiet place. There is a pool inside but we didn't use it. Would I recommend it? Definitely yes because of the nice staff but prefer suit rooms. P.s as I came in the holiday time in the evening all the stores were closed I wanted to buy some juice to drink but the guy told me they we out of it ;( it was a pity. Lucky that had kettle so I was able to make some tea after the flight.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Diamond Rain hotel in Sarajevo and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from the moment I arrived, making me feel right at home. The hotel is conveniently located near many of Sarajevo's top attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. Additionally, the hotel offers excellent dining options, with a wide range of delicious local and international cuisine. What really stood out to me about Diamond Rain hotel, however, was the level of service provided by the staff. They were always available to assist with any queries or concerns and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was a memorable one. Overall, I would highly recommend Diamond Rain hotel to anyone visiting Sarajevo. It's a fantastic hotel with top-notch facilities and an unbeatable level of service. I can't wait to visit again!

This hotel has 4 stars. But this must be some mistake! It should have at least 5 stars! It has great rooms, breakfast is nice, personal is pleasant, and as a small boutique hotel it has pool with small sauna. Negative side is that parking is not cosy and that street where hotel is located is not easy to navigate especial if you have bigger car. Although locations of hotel is close to city center so you will not need car often. I recommend hotel to businesses but also family travel as well.

Hotel Cosmopolit is a stylish and modern hotel located in the heart of Sarajevo, just a short walk from popular attractions like Winter Olympic Centre ZOI '84 and Academy of Arts. The hotel offers chic and streamlined rooms with city views, as well as amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi and tour/ticket assistance. Additionally, guests can enjoy the convenience of room service during limited hours.
We were staying here for 2 nights and loved this place! Comfortable and clean rooms, everything that is announced on booking was included. The mattress on the bed is soft, I like it. There is mini bar in the rooms. Also nice sound isolation: I found out that there was living a family with kids next door to us and we never heard them. There is an opportunity to take a breakfast in the hotel, but we didn't take it

Good price, clean room, good location, friendly staff, nothing more to ask for for a 3 star hotel Hotel price in summer is expensive in general, and I find this one is reasonably priced and looks clean. Staff are super helpful, on day one they tried their best to offer me a room for early check in as they aware I took an overnight bus here and want a rest <3 The room is clean and tidy, small but thats all I need and given the price is good. Location is very nice, just 10 mins walk to the old town and there are tram near by. On the last day staff help me call a taxi to the airport and communicate with the driver about the location and price incase I have trouble. <3

Great location with many cool places to visit nearby. However, the rooms are quite small and not very clean, and the place looks a bit worn out.

No soap in the bathroom. Lazy finishings to the room itself. Suppose it works if you are only after a bed to sleep on. Otherwise, don't expect anything else if you are used to more accommodating hotels. Receptionist however was lovely and helpful where needed.

Nice place and has very polite staff. Everything was completely clean. But the bed in my apartment was over soft and the pillows too hard and big - I did not sleep well.

Excellent location, close to all attractions, BBI mall and old city. Free parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean. Elevator is available (which is not the case in many hotels of Sarajevo). In-room A/C, refrigerator and safe box were operating flawlessly. Bathroom and shower were functioning perfectly. Sports channels available in lobby and room TVs which made it easy for me to follow Euro2021 matches. Highly recommended. Will definitely stay in this hotel every time I visit Sarajevo.

Loose electrical wires, power cuts, broken lifts, dirty rooms, broken shower handles, faulty air conditioning... These are just some of the issues we had in the first two nights. For convenience of location, this room is useful. If you care about being somewhere nice, just keep looking!

Hotel Sahat is a modern and elegant hotel located in central Sarajevo, just 200 meters from the Presidency Building. The spacious rooms are equipped with free Wi-Fi, satellite TV, and a minibar. Guests appreciate its prime location in the heart of the old town, surrounded by bars, restaurants, and key attractions within walking distance. The hotel offers easy access to transportation options and is praised for its exceptional staff who provide outstanding service.
Listen, it's not the Marriot, and you shouldn't be expecting it to be, but for what it is and what it's meant to be it could be a lot worse. The staff is great. I can't say enough good things about the staff. Each person is more helpful than the last. The location is very central in the old city. They have an airport shuttle, but you need to schedule it at least 24 hrs in advance. The rooms are fine. Clean and well stocked, which is about all you can ask for. If you're looking for bells and whistles, this might not be the place for you. If you're looking for a convenient place to stay while you enjoy the city that's family friendly and safe, then this might be for you. Would I recommend staying here? Yes. Would I stay here again? Yes.

You are paying for the location, which is central and no less than a 15 minute walk from any of the Old Town’s historical and cultural heritage sites. Room itself was mediocre and my windows would not open — which was not a problem for me (I came in winter) but it might be for others guests. Breakfast is solid and you can take fruits from their provided selection to your walking tours and explorations around the city. Staff was always polite and gave advice/instructions where needed. I will stay here again when I return.

The location of this hotel is perfect and the staff at reception and the airport pick up driver are lovely and a testament to the great service at this hotel! Thanks for making the stay a little more special. However, I do not understand how this hotel qualifies for a 4* hotel. Firstly, we booked for a twin bed room for 2 people and were provided a double bed and a tiny room for for 1 person, the person behind the desk said the were booked out so no other room was available. After seeing some previous reviews I see this is common practice here. I believe we over paid for the room that was provided. Secondly. I stayed on the third floor where there are no curtains, thankfully I bought an eye mask which helped. The bed sheets in both rooms were ripped and barely fit the bed. There are no extra amenities provided. Only 1 roll of toilet paper, no bath mats or hand towel, no shampoo, tissue, or other bathroom items. The rooms were only made up once in 5 days. For this hotel you are paying for the location and good service but keep expectations low for hotel rooms.

This is my second time staying here. I first stayed five years ago, and the managers were so lovely that they upgraded my room since I was staying for over a week. The location is amazing, it’s right in the middle of everything you need. This time, I came to Bosnia with a big group of girls and was so happy to see that I’d be staying at the same hotel again, as it has everything you need. The gentleman at reception is very nice and welcoming, and the ladies are also extremely helpful, they make you feel comfortable and encouraged to ask if you need anything. The rooms are clean, modern, and quiet. Highly recommend

Thank you to the wonderful staff of Hotel Sahara, especially, Dino, who came to my rescue when I lost one of my earrings down the shower drain in my room. Dino was friendly, polite and so efficient! I also have to mention the friendliness of Hana. My stay was all the better for meeting them! 😊

1. Upon arrival, we were given a different room that was damp and filled with mold. 2. The beds in this room were very small and uncomfortable. 3. When we complained about the room, we were informed that there had been an issue with guests the previous night, leading to our room change. 4. We were advised to speak with the manager, who was unavailable at the time. While the reception staff was friendly and the hotel's location is excellent, I believe that this hotel does not meet the standards of a four-star establishment.
Dina A — Google review
Great location, very close to the old town! Dino at the reception was extremely kind and helpful. We arrived late after a long and exhausting drive, and he checked us in smoothly and quickly, even though we were a relatively big group. He even manage to short out quickly, some minor issues some of the people from tbe group had with their rooms. There was a good variety of breakfast options, and the staff, even though they didn’t speak much English, were friendly. That said, don’t have high expectations when it comes to the rooms. The bathroom was quite old, the hairdryer didn’t work, and the curtains were ripped. Overall, it's a decent stay if you're not too picky and just need a convenient place to sleep in a great location.

We were first given a small room on 3rd floor. With our liuggage, barely can move. When we complained to our travel agent, the hotel manager agreed to have our rooms changed. Manager is professional enough, but the reception on that day was indifferent to our needs and made us wait for the room when we saw the room was ready.

The spacious rooms create a great atmosphere that travelers look forward to experiencing. Visitors have been particularly pleased with the breakfast and overall service. Many guests stumbled upon this gem by chance while on holiday and were glad they did, expressing their satisfaction with their stay at Hotel Baškuća.
If you're looking for a place to stay right in the center of Sarajevo, just a few steps away from the heart of the historic city, I can highly recommend this hotel! Honestly – the reality exceeded my expectations from the photos. I absolutely fell in love with the style and design of the place – it has such a great atmosphere that pulls you in right away. The room was on the smaller side, but super cozy and perfectly clean. And now, the best part: THE BREAKFAST! It was simply amazing, and I have to admit, I’m really going to miss it. You can choose either from a rich buffet or a well-curated breakfast menu – both were absolutely worth it. Overall, a wonderful place where you truly feel at home. I would definitely love to come back! 👌🏻

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Baškuća! First, the location is great, minutes walking to the old town but slightly up on a hill so you get the quiet away from the bustle. Professional service, clean rooms and my favourite part, the most delicious breakfast. Local ingredients, everything fresh, really setting you up for the day. Thank you for a wonderful stay and hope to be back!

Very nice and new hotel, build with lot of wood which makes a very good vibe in every corner of the hotel. Breakfast quality is very high, only the filter coffee included isnt that good. Stuff is very polite ans willing to to help, good English.

I love this hotel so much. It is so comfortable and warm. The interiors are cosy and welcoming. The nod to both Bosnian and Turkish design is impeccable. The staff are so friendly and kind. The location is perfect in the old city the views are stunning. the restaurant is so lovely to sit in and dine in and relax. Parking was a bit tricky as the car park is small underground but it is so convenient as there are not many places to park in the old city. I can’t wait to come back to this city and hotel.

Super comfy hotel. Recommend tho all who want to visit Sarajevo. The all stuff from reception to who cleaned the rooms was so polite, welcoming and caring. Especially Adin who works at the restaurang. The hotel have a really good quality and so clean. The location was also perfect. I recommend it strongly.
Hilal B — Google review
The rooms are very clean and you can clearly see that the housekeepers put a lot of effort into their work. The location of the hotel is a bit inconvenient since it’s uphill, so anyone with health issues or elderly guests might find it difficult to reach and may want to consider another option. The staff is generally very kind and helpful, except for one tall blonde gentleman who was extremely rude, when my parents called from the room, he hung up the phone on them.
Hub A — Google review
I live just a few minutes away, so this place is perfect for me to stop by for a good coffee or a quick bite. I’ve visited twice, once in late winter and again recently and both times were great. Their raspberry ice cream is a must-try! It’s served in a fun ice-like box and it’s very refreshing. The place is small but cozy, with a real homey vibe. On my first visit, I had Sogan Dolma, and it was delicious. The menu is based on Turkish cuisine, so if that’s your thing, you’ll love it. Also, you’ll likely meet three cute stray cats hanging around outside, which just adds to the charm. A hidden gem just 10 minutes from the city center.
NelaNela — Google review
The staff is okay, but we waited 40 mins for our meal that consisted eggs and dried meat. The menu has like 7 stuff (maybe that's only for breakfast) but still, they could add more varieties. And the price per meal isn't wow considering it was 15 BAM for a small portion.

Latin Bridge, an Ottoman-era stone bridge in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a significant historical site. It gained notoriety as the location of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria in 1914, an event that triggered World War I. The bridge spans the Miljacka River and serves as a poignant reminder of the city's tumultuous past.
A small but incredibly significant landmark. Latin Bridge is where the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand took place, sparking World War I. Standing there gives you a real sense of history. The surrounding area is beautiful too, with the Miljacka River, charming old buildings, and nearby museums. A must-visit spot for history lovers and a peaceful place for a stroll in the heart of Sarajevo.
Faisal A — Google review
The Latin Bridge is quite basic — just a simple, plain bridge with nothing particularly special or eye-catching about it. When we visited, it was very quiet, and we hardly saw any other tourists around, unlike the busier, more touristy spots in the city. Overall, it’s a quick stop if you’re nearby, but not a must-see.
Highway V — Google review
If you do not know the history behind this place you would probably be looking at some random bridge in the centre of Sarajevo. By which I mean to say that the bridge itself is sadly not that spectacular. But the fact that this part of history is still with us here today is in itself very interesting ofcourse!

A 16th-century Ottoman-era stone bridge that spans the Miljacka River. On this street is where Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sophie were assassinated by Gavrilo Princip, a Bosnian Serb nationalist on June 28, 1914 triggering the outbreak of World War I.

The Latin Bridge, one of Sarajevo’s most popular landmarks! An ottoman-era bridge, at one of the ends of the bridge is the site of the assassination of archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria!
Son L — Google review
Sarajevo is a small city. You can see a lot in one day. This is the bridge where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by Gavrilo Princip, which became the reason for the start of World War I. Sarajevo has delicious food. It is a very cheap city, there is a tram. The Genocide Museum is interesting, which is about the genocide during the civil war that took place in 1992-1995.
Lado G — Google review
The northern end of the bridge was the site of the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria by Gavrilo Princip in 1914,[1] which began the July Crisis that ultimately led to the outbreak of World War I.

Hotel Grand Sarajevo offers simple accommodations, some with scenic mountain views, in a laid-back setting. The property features two restaurants and a bar for guests to enjoy. Situated near the city center, central bus and train station, the hotel provides convenient access to various attractions. With ample parking space available, it ensures easy mobility for those with private vehicles. The rooms are tidy and equipped with comfortable beds and reliable Wi-Fi.
I stayed at Hotel Grand Sarajevo for two nights and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is well-organized, very clean, and offers an amazing breakfast with a great variety of options. I arrived very early in the morning after taking an overnight bus from Belgrade, feeling quite tired. As expected, my room wasn't ready yet, but one of the kind employees at reception noticed my situation and invited me to have breakfast before it finished. This small act of kindness meant a lot, as I was both exhausted and hungry – it really set the tone for the rest of my stay. After breakfast, I waited in the cozy bar area, where the service was excellent. The hotel is located in a quieter, more residential part of Sarajevo, which I appreciated, and my room had lovely views of the surrounding mountains. I highly recommend Hotel Grand Sarajevo for its comfort, cleanliness, and above all, the thoughtful and welcoming staff. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the city!
Peterson F — Google review
We stayed at Grand Hotel Sarajevo for two nights. The location is convenient if you're driving—close to the old town by car—but unfortunately not accessible by foot for wheelchair users. Accessibility was a mixed experience. There are two ramps at the entrance, but one of them is steep and not up to standard. My partner, who uses a wheelchair, couldn’t manage it alone and needed assistance. The elevator was also too small for a power chair; I had to help maneuver it in. The room itself was spacious and had two bathrooms—one standard with a jacuzzi, and the other an accessible one. The accessible bathroom was thoughtfully equipped with a raised toilet, a sturdy foldable shower seat, and a handle. However, the drainage was poor and water didn’t drain well, which made showering difficult. Another issue was the bed height—it was far too low for easy transfers from a wheelchair, so we had to use a transfer board. Breakfast was good, with a nice variety of options. A highlight of our stay was Edi, one of the staff members. He was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and his fluent English with a British accent made communication much easier in a country where English isn’t widely spoken.

Disappointing Stay – Even 1 Star Is Too Much My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, the air conditioning wasn’t working, making it nearly impossible to sleep comfortably. The bed sheets were dirty and even had blood stains on them. I tried changing the sheets myself, but I continued to experience itching every night — clearly, the bedding was not clean. The room was never cleaned during my stay and had a strong, unpleasant odor. The showerhead was broken, the shower itself was rusty, and the entire bathroom was in poor condition. The breakfast was equally unacceptable — it resembled leftover scraps more than an actual meal. While the hotel is conveniently located near the city center, that is unfortunately the only positive. Do not be misled by the online photos — they are completely inaccurate. When it rains, the noise from the drops hitting the roof is so loud it makes sleeping nearly impossible. Overall, this hotel is absolutely not recommended. For the price you pay, you should expect at least basic cleanliness and comfort. Honestly, even one star feels too generous.
Haberler B — Google review
We actually liked the place. The newly renovated family rooms with two washrooms are great. The airconditioning is good. The free breakfast has a lot of selection. There's grocery and bakeries nearby for immediate needs. Walking distance from train station and not too far away from the city centre either.

Very disappointing experience – unsafe, unprofessional, and misleading We had a truly unpleasant experience at this hotel. We made a reservation through Booking.com at 4:00 PM and received a confirmation that everything was in order. However, when we arrived at 10:00 PM, we were greeted in a rushed and uninterested manner by a grumpy staff member who said her shift was over. She told us the hotel was overbooked and she wasn’t sure if there were any rooms available. Instead of checking herself, she handed us a few room keys and told us to check if the rooms were free. Completely unprofessional. Once in the room, we discovered the air conditioning didn’t work, the shower only had cold water, and the room looked nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. What was shown online as modern and clean turned out to be outdated and gloomy. We felt misled. The worst part was the parking situation. The hotel only has 10 parking spots despite being able to host hundreds of guests. We were forced to park across the street on an unpaved, unlit lot with no security or camera surveillance. The next morning, we found that the back window of our car had been smashed, and all our luggage and shoes were stolen. When we asked the front desk for help or security footage, we were told bluntly that the hotel takes no responsibility and there was nothing they could do. No empathy, no support. In short: unsafe conditions, poor service, misleading information on Booking.com, and zero accountability from the hotel. Definitely not recommended.
Fahri A — Google review
If you want clean and comfort, do not come to this hotel. The hygiene was genuinely worst than a UK McDonalds toilet. When I arrived there was mould in the bathroom, yellow stains in the bathtub, hair in the bathtub. The shower head was wrapped up in duct tape. The bedding was awful too. I did not get a duvet but only the duvet sheet. There was stains on the bedding and on the pillows. The bathroom towels had stains on them too!! The breakfast wasn’t enjoyable for my taste palette but for others it may. Some of the reception staff were helpful but most weren’t. They refused to call for a taxi bigger than a 4 seater even though I saw many in Sarajevo.
Saima K — Google review
We were part of a tour group so unfortunately we had to stay there. Overwhelming smell of stale cigarette smoke when entering the foyer/ reception area. We were put in the accessible room on the top floor. Only positive thing is the size of the room. Spigots of the bath was totally loose and unusable. Plastic casing over the power sockets in the wall was totally loose and in my opinion unsafe to use. The shower was exposed without any door or sloped floor. We had to roll towels up and put it on the floor not to flood the place. Breakfast was almost non-existant. If you really have to stay here, please make sure you get one of the revamped rooms. Some of our group were lucky enough to get revamped rooms and they said it was acceptable. Unfortunately I can't recommend staying here

We chose this hotel because of the Booking.com reviews and its 3-star rating, but it was the worst experience we've ever had. I wish we'd read the negative reviews before going; I deeply regret it. The hotel I stayed in in India was cleaner and better quality. The rooms are very small, the walls are dirty, the bathroom is adjacent to the toilet, and it's completely unhygienic. Once you see the lady at the reception and hear her talk, you realize what a disgraceful establishment you've come to. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT GO WITH YOUR FAMILY.

We stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. We would like to especially thank Lejla at the reception, who was truly amazing with us and our daughters. Her availability, kindness, and professionalism made our stay much more enjoyable: whenever we needed anything, even the smallest request, Lejla was always ready to help us with a smile. We would also like to praise Amra, the housekeeper, who is simply fantastic. Our room was always perfectly clean and tidy when she was taking care of it, which made our stay very comfortable. Unfortunately, on the days she wasn’t present, we noticed that the cleanliness was not at the same level, and we had to contact the reception several times over multiple days to have the room properly cleaned. Despite this small inconvenience, the professionalism, courtesy, and dedication of Lejla and Amra deserve a special thank you: thanks to them, our stay was truly enjoyable.
Carolina C — Google review
The biggest issue: we didn’t get the room we booked. The listing clearly showed a room with a balcony and panoramic windows — instead, we were given a ground-floor room with small windows facing a trash area. And since we arrived late in the evening, we had no chance to cancel. Next morning at the reception i was told that they don’t do refund nor they can give us the room I booked. Another problem: EV charging. The charger in the building wasn’t working, so we were sent to another location — but the price was the same: €20, regardless of how much you charge. I had asked about the cost before arrival, and they refused to disclose it, saying I’d learn the price at reception. I couldn’t imagine it would be so unreasonably high. The bed was rock-hard — I woke up sore after just one night. Reception was there only to charge us. They wouldn’t help with any issues and refused to contact management. When we asked to cancel the rest of our stay the next morning, they declined, saying there were no other rooms and nothing could be done. We ended up leaving and booking a better, AND cheaper place in the city center.
Anna S — Google review
No amenities, no air conditioning in the room, and no soundproofing meant I couldn't sleep well; it was a nightmarish day. We asked the receptionist to fix something in our room, but she ignored us and treated us badly. Moreover, she didn't even show us the facilities at the hotel, like other hotels do. Her name is Elina, and she is really unprofessional. If you keep this girl at the hotel, you will lose your customers. It was a horrible experience, and I don't recommend anyone to book there."
Razaz A — Google review
The receptionists are super unprofessional they messed up the booking from the people behind me with mine, even tho I said many times that we don’t belong together. They claimed that I said I will check out at 10 and when I got to the reception there was not even the same staff from the day I checked in. Apparently they didn’t communicate that I had a later check out but made this my problem and terrorised me on the phone pushing me out of the room. Luckily someone could solve the problem, which was that they did not communicate. But the telephone terror before was horrible. How can you claim I said I leave at 10 when you were not even checking me in. And of course no apology for the telephone terror where they pressured me to leave which was before 11. They had 1 job to do and failed it. I cannot recommend this hotel. The breakfast looked disgusting, too. Feeling kicked out even tho they made a mistake is so unprofessional, I never had a situation like this. How can you mix up to separate check ins? Better stay away from this hotel or make sure they don’t check in 2 separate people at once bc the ladies can definitely not deal with that.
Lucia L — Google review
Very nice hotel, clean and spacious,10 min walk to city centre. Underground parking. We stayed in apartment and we strongly recommend.
Kasia L — Google review
Very convenient location. Though as others have said, it's a steep walk uphill to get to it; if you have a car, they have free parking onsite. They also have a shuttle that will take you around town at a reasonable price, or you can call a cheap taxi in five minutes. A little hard to find the turn off from Terezia the first time (there's a high but kind of obscure sign to turn right), but after that it's simple. Great apartment amenities. It was quiet, and our first floor room had a balcony with a small table and chairs. Not a fan of the shower which had a rainfall showerhead and tended to let water get all over the floor. But what really made this place stand out was the incredible service provided by Muhamed at the front desk, who went way out of his way to try to fix something for us that had nothing to do with the hotel. Can't say enough about him. This is where we'll stay when we come back to Sarajevo.

Hotel Festival is a modern and stylish hotel located in Sarajevo, just a short walk from the city center. The lobby exudes warmth and modernity, making guests feel at home instantly. The rooms are bright and well-furnished, offering ample space for a comfortable stay. Guests can enjoy free breakfast and parking, as well as dine at the bright restaurant on-site. The hotel also boasts a terrace with stunning city views.
Perfect location, near Bašćaršija, everything is in the walking distance. It's probably the best 4* hotel I ever stayed in. Clean room, excellent breakfast with so many different meals, and the best part was the staff. Very friendly, and always there to help. They look like they really enjoy their job, which is rare to see nowadays. I can't recommend this place more, and the next time when I'll visit Sarajevo, I won't lose time searching for accommodation.

Even though we had an issue with the booking.com, the hotel administration was so helpful for us to keep our booking. Both front desk ladies were super friendly, especially the night chef. The room was clean and AC was working properly. Breakfast was tasty and had a lot of options. We didn’t face any issues during our stay. The location is also great for walking to nearby attractions.
Merve U — Google review
The hotel was clean and tidy, the bed comfortable, and the room had both a fridge and a kettle – everything you need for a short stay. Breakfast was tasty and varied. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. The red-haired receptionist was unfriendly and rude, even shouting to me from the restaurant while eating instead of properly assisting at the desk. Earlier, she also made it unpleasant when she said she wasn’t sure if there would be a garage spot for us. Another staff member (a heavier gentleman) was also rude to my husband for using a door that turned out to be staff-only. On a positive note, the tall, slim gentleman at reception was extremely kind and helpful, recommending a great place to eat. Many thanks to him! The hotel does offer parking in an underground garage, but there are only a few spaces. Cars block each other inside, so you have to leave your keys at reception in case someone needs to move your car.

Had an amazing stay at Hotel festival. Everything was just perfect — the room was super clean and comfy, and the whole place had a really nice vibe. The staff were so friendly and helpful, they really made the stay even better.

The best thing about this hotel is its location — very close to the city center, just about a 15-minute walk. The parking area is located behind the reception. The staff are very polite and respectful. However, the heating/cooling system does not function perfectly. The building itself is constructed with materials and finishing that make it more of a 3-star or 4-star stand

We had a reservation for a nice three person room. We arrived at the hotel at 12.30 for check in. They told us check in is at 14.00 and we couldn’t deck in yet but they found our reservation and everything is in order. We came back after diner with our 5 yo. They check us in made a copy of our passport and gave us the room key. After that they told us it wasn’t available they only have a 2 person room. They expected us to let our kid sleep on the floor or something?! They then offered us a horrible apartment at a very high price with a 2 person bed where our kid could sleep on the couch with a blanked. Horrible! Not a fitting solution at all!!! Don’t go here! You won’t be shure if you will sleep in the hotel or in a appartement full of moist for €90!!!!

If you are coming from different countries, please dont expect to have a copy of hotels where you usually stay. This is probably different experience and you will appreciate it. Excellent rooms and truly nice people everywhere around. Outstanding breakfast and food in general. Swimming pool 10 of 10. One word can describe everything. Outstanding. If you need anything just ask.

Wow, this isn’t about the hotel but about the Nursing home, My grandma was here when she was 63 I think and I visted her often. The staff where really kind to her but I wish she could’ve recovered. Sadly she passed away here. 😭😭

Rooms and restaurant are OK. Located in a small town near Sarajevo (approx 15-20 minutes drive). Free wifi. Swimming pool, sauna and gym available for extra charge. Room is clean and size is OK. Airconditioning and flat screen TV. Nice panoramic view gallery/veranda. Unfortunately smoking is allowed over there. Not so good are the thin walls (I can hear the TV of my neighbor very good and also talking and sneezing). And (like everywhere in Sarajevo in my impression) EVERYBODY is smoking. Rooms and restaurant are smoke free but in the rest of the hotel is smoking allowed so that's really terribly smelly.

I would like to thank Mrs. Ayda for her great help and support during our stay. She was extremely helpful and nice and very cooperative. Also, I would like to thank Mrs. Salma from the housekeeping service for being very cooperative and nice. All the workers were nice and helpful and the location is great 👍🏻

I stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel is classified as 4 stars hotel, but in my opinion it's not more than 3 stars. The hotel is outdated and spider webs are everywhere. The AC wasn't working on our first night, later it was fixed but it wasn't efficient in my room. The water heater isn't working well. The room lack water boiler, complimentary water and tea isn't included. TV wasn't working. Hair dryer wasn't working also. WiFi service was okayish. Face tissue isn't provided. There is only one Iron in the whole hotel so, I never got the chance to use it. The hotel room in general relatively clean aside from the spider webs. Safety box wasn't working, they provide another one on the second day but it wasn't working either. Breakfast was shameful, the buffet has few varieties and the remaining food reheated again and served the next morning. There was visible fungi in all vinegar canisters, all the canisters were sticky and dirty. Although smoking was prohibited in the lobby, the staff were smoking there occasionally. Location of the hotel was good. Rooms were efficiently soundproof. Bed mattress was comfortable. Staff overall friendly. There is a Gym and pool shared by all the srounding hotels, personally I didn't use it. The hotel sharing a garden with beautiful fountain.

Okay service with okay coffee and with okay sandwich (This review is not about the Hotel (used to be called Hungaria)² but about the cafe of it.) Had a sunny day walk at the park and decided to get a coffee here. Even though we did receive an okay coffee I didn't feel the extra care in the service, probably the long wait didn't help either. The sandwich was also okay, probably because we were hungry.

While some guests have noted areas for improvement such as the breakfast options and room equipment, many appreciate the hotel's fantastic location near the old town market.
Hotel Berr is very closely located to Sarajevo City Hall, Gazi Huzrev Beg Mosque, and other important landmarks in Sarajevo. Hotel Berr is a family run hotel. Staff are very polite, caring, and hospitable. The rooms are very spacious, with AC, and clean 3 piece suite bathroom. We stayed in a family room of 5 person, which had 3 single beds and a double bed. The bathroom has Him and Her double sink.

We're staying here right now and I have to say that we enjoy how friendly the staff was since we arrived. A friendly lady at breakfast wanted to make sure we won't be hungry and even gave us a full plate of fruit to take to our room. She treated us like her own children. It may not have the most modern rooms or equipment, but it is a family run hotel with big heart and lots of love for their guests! It's our second time in Sarajevo, first in this hotel and next time we hope we can come to this hotel again, because it feels like home.

I had a confirmed reservation from booking, I was driving whole day from North Mecdonia through Serbia to get to Sarajevo, I arrived a long with my friends at night I went to the hotel and the man over there was very rude and unprofessional he grabbed me by my arm to outside and shouted at me with "no room" even when I showed him the reservation and it was so frustrated as me and my friends on the streets without a place to stay that night And we spent the night looking for any other place to stay

We had a double room (1 king bed and 2 single beds), the rooms were not very clean but the toilet was ok. The staff was very friendly and location is perfect. We booked without breakfast and payed 30 Euro extra for a not very good breakfast for 2 adults and 2 kids, which is very expensive for Sarajevo prices.

hello everyone, I want to share my experience about this hotel, first of course I read reviews and was curious if it really was such a well-scoring hotel in real. I can recommend everyone to book at this hotel, first of all, they have very clean rooms, staff is super friendly, location just can't be better, 5 minutes walk to center (Baščaršija) Car parking can be difficult, but they do have a solution for that, they take your car key and as soon as there is a free space your car will be parked, it is difficult to park in the whole centrum of Sarajevo. There was no minibar/refrigerator in our room, but we were allowed to use the hotel's refrigerator for our food and drinks, in addition, the owners are Turks, so communication was very easy for us. Once again I would like to say a big thank you to the staff and owner for welcoming our family.

Could not ask for a better location — this hotel sits in the heart of the Sarajevo's old town, allowing many tourist attractions within easy walking distance. Our one-bedroom suite on the top floor was spacious and comfortable, making it the perfect retreat between the walking trips exploring different parts of the old town. The manager that runs the waiters is rude and treats them badly in front of guests. Poor managment skills like he came from the village and got some power to run them. We tried to order more drinks at 22:47 that manager came and yelled at the waiter that we cannot order anymore.!The asian waiter was more than welcoming and nice. Guess mobing comes naturale to this manager. Hope that ‘manager’ he will be removed soon as he is unpleasent to his cooworkers and guests. Sad.

After an hour I located the watch that it was turned off at the hotel's address, right after we left I sent an email to hotrl with the location, I never received any response from the hotel. Brilliant location, very central to old town Sarajevo, views over the main Mosque are great! Parking is a small car park squeezed between this hotel and hotel Europe. Be aware this hotel does NOT have a pool or spa as advertised, they allow you access to hotel Europe's pool and spa if you ask for a pass. We had a suit which had a bedroom, living room, large bathroom with shower pod and jacuzzi and a 2nd toilet room. The shower pod wasn't the cleanest with some black mold. Breakfast was disappointing, not a huge selection and the cooked foods were Luke warm.

A lovely clean comfortable hotel, with friendly staff. My room was quite large with a big TV (1 x 24 hour American channel), a fridge and kettle. A lovely shower with complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was very nice with a choice of cooked eggs, meat, cheese and salad. Cereal, yoghurt, toast, tea/coffee and fruit juices. Really good value for money, I would definitely recommend 👍. Only downside is the steep hill. I walked up the steps the first time before I discovered if you walk up the hill a bit the climb is a lot better.

The hotel is very clean and its decoration is luxurious. The breakfast is delicious and varied, including some sweets, juices, coffee, fried eggs, meat, different types of cheese, and more. The hotel staff were polite, friendly, and helped us book a car to the airport. It was a comfortable stay that we recommend.

To some extent it’s a good hotel. Breakfast should be improved due to limitation in space . If there are 2 families eating that’s it you will not find a place . Reception girl was very kind and supportive . Walking from the downtown to the hotel is little bit tricky due to the long slope but it’s very manageable if you choose another road . As shown in the picture . Use this highlighted road .

Really good hotel, can recommend. Close to the city centre. But if you are looking for dinner, please do not listen to the staff. They recommended us a restaurant owned by the same owner on the other side of the city. The food there ammm... It beats hunger. (Restaurant name is Boss bistro). There are a lot of other better alternatives.

I’m glad I stayed only one night. It doesn’t have an elevator, although the receptionist was kind enough to help me with the luggage. When I arrive at the room, temperature was set at 25 C degrees, when I lower the temperature, it started making a horrible noise. I was in the third floor and you could hear the noise from the reception. It was technically the fan, but the AC didn’t actually work. Last floor, after a whole day of summer of 38 degrees, the room was hot. Lots of dead mini flies. Good location, and the receptionist did tried to help me.

A Wonderful Stay in a Perfect Location We had a fantastic stay at this modern hotel! The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk to the old town. The rooms were clean, neutrally decorated, and the bathrooms were spacious and well-maintained. What truly made our stay special was the amazing staff. Adin was incredibly helpful and gave us great recommendations on where to eat when we first arrived. Aldijana went above and beyond, suggesting places to visit and local dishes to try—thanks to her, we enjoyed an unforgettable roast lamb at Restoran Zdrava Voda in Jablanica on our way to Mostar. We also joined the walking tour and “The Fall of Yugoslavia” tour—both were insightful and highly recommended. We loved everything about this hotel, especially the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff. We’d definitely stay here again!

Basic but decent enough accommodation. Stayed for a single night. Super friendly reception staff. Nice breakfast area with a view. Everything was quite clean, but my room had an unmistakable smoke odor - not uncommon in BiH sadly. Would stay here again though.

We spent a week at Boutique Bristol Hotel and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is beautifully designed, the rooms are stylish, clean, and very comfortable. But what truly makes this place special is the staff — from the reception to housekeeping to the restaurant, everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Clean, great location, in our case it was not noisy but the rooms do lack some simple things such as a bigger trashcan and perhaps storage space in the bathroom for toiletries/toilet paper and such. Also, small scuffs and other small details in the room take away from the quality. The people are great and breakfast is also awesome. Thanks!

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! So we were 10 people and we booked 4 rooms via our tour company. When we walk in from 5 hour bus ride with 6 kids who were passing out on the couch sleeping and whining, the lady at the reception (whom I assume was the manager, short cut hair) told us curtly that we can’t leave unless our card is charged. Background story, our tour company booked this hotel. We don’t even speak the local language. So our tour guide explained everything, gave them their credit card and left expecting us to settle down. Like they had in the previous 3 cities and their hotels we had been to. The front desk lady, extremely unprofessional snapped back at us “you can’t move from here unless I charge your card”. We got taken aback from her tone. Were we running away? Anyways we call our tour company and some confusion from the hotel part. It got taken care of. No apology for the sharp tone by that lady. We were disappointed, but we got checked in our rooms and were happy to settle down. Nice rooms. Seemed clean and upgraded. We were happy. Then one of the rooms which slept 4 people. The AC suddenly turned off at 12:30am. Date is July 16, 2024 and there is a heatwave. We call front desk and got answered by them that there is absolutely no room available, everything is booked and they “might” give us another room at 3am if these customers don’t show up by 2am. I had a 5 year and an 8 year old in that room with me. I told my husband I will go downstairs and speak to them and plead if they can make an exception. Downstairs I try to reason with this long haired guy claiming his name was Riaz or Riyaad if he could come and take a look at the AC or move us to another room. I could not bother our family traveling with us because a) this was not their problem and b) it was 1am by that time and they were long sleeping He was so rude! He told me he had already told my husband we “might” get another room after 3am if the other parties don’t show up, all rooms booked. I asked him again if he could do something, move us to one of the empty rooms; who was bound to show up at 3am, we had kids with us. He started throwing up his hands in the air in frustration that he couldn’t do anything, it’s not his fault the AC stopped working in a heat wave and he will call me at 3am like he told my husband over the phone. I was in utter shock the way he was talking to me. I told him he was unprofessional as he pushed past me to go on his cigarette break while I was talking to him and his tone was getting harsher and harsher by minute. I told him he was being very disrespectful, I didn’t want to speak to him anymore so I wanted him to call his manager. He called me crazy lady. Who the heck speaks to their customer like that!!! I deal with clients in my IT profession, no way we would dream of speaking to our customer in that manner or tone. He started saying stuff in his language angrily, throws his cigarette out on the street with force and PUSHES ME WITH HIS BODY TO THE SIDE to his desk to call his manager. I almost fell, I’m not even kidding, I told him there was a camera there for what he did. He smirked that it probably didn’t even capture that where I was standing. His manger on the phone asks me; am I the same lady who spoke to her angrily about a parking or a car in the morning. I was like no! I didn’t even speak to her in the morning, it was my husband and his brother in law making reservations. These people are nuts!!! Then she goes on like, I’m having some “small issues with my AC”, I tell her I’m not having any small issues with your AC, it just shut down and this man is being very very rude. She gets a little confused (no idea what he told her is language) and then just says, “oh like he said all rooms are booked, we can’t do anything”. Riaz started snatched the phone from me via its cord so hard while I was STILL talking to his manager that it got pulled on my earring and started bleeding. I AM SO SO SO DISAPPOINTED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE OF THIS HOTEL! Issues happen; this is NOT the way how you handle them!
Sheeza K — Google review
Great hotel and restaurant staff. Shame about the front desk staff (rude, and unhelpful). My sister in law reported an AC issue at night. Unfortunately was met by huge hostility from the front desk staff and was threatened. Similar experience with the front desk manager during check in- without the physical threats. Just rude and unprofessional.

The people at the hotel were nice. However for a 4 star hotel it didn't meet expectations. The window room didn't fully close, so we could hear the cars passing through all night, and the church in the morning. In the bathroom, there was a socket for a heat drying rack, but there was not drying rack nor a towel hanger. There wasnt even a place to put the toilet paper. The fridge made weird noises at night, so we had to unplug it. The switchers near the bed also didnt work.

Most disturbingly, we were provided with a master key. I went to the wrong room by mistake and the door opened anyway. With the permission of other guests on our floor, we tried it on 3 of the 6 hotel rooms and our key opened every door! Whether you are given one of these or not on your stay, be aware that some guests ARE being supplied with them, and can access your room any time day or night. There are no bolts or chains to provide additional security against this. See video The hotel will take photocopies of your passports and leave them lying around on the desk and in-tray in the unatended office with the door left open so that anyone who passes can access your sensitive personal information. The listing is wildly inaccurate. Of the items listed, none of the following are actually provided, either in the room or communally: Sofa, Washing machine, tumble dryer, refrigerator, iron, dressing room, dishwasher, clothes rack. 3 of the 6 rooms have very high windows and so do not have the views advertised. Of the facilities/features listed, 21 were not actually available in the rooms. The air conditioner did not work. The shower did not drain and frequently overflowed. There is a chimney on a neigbouring restaurant that spews grill smoke 18 hours a day, so if you are on the top floor (3 of 6 rooms) and want to open a window, prepare for your room to smell of wood smoke and/or Cevapcici from about 5am to 11pm. The matresses are not very comfortable at all. Every time one of us moved, the other was bounced around like we were on a waterbed. The room was clean and located in a great location, and I would have given it an 8. But due to the contempt shown to the safely and security of guests and their personal information, and the blatent misleading listing and missing facilities, we cannot possibly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel right in the middle of the old town. All the tourist attractions are literally within walking distance. Delicious breakfast and Armin was really friendly and helpful. Close to all the markets, cafes, restaurants etc. would recommend this place
Fayaz H — Google review
Wonderful city hotel, in the middle of the old town. Great breakfast, a variety of choices, very helpful and friendly personnel. Nice interior, cozy rooms, very good soundproof. Recommended
Matt L — Google review
From the beginning to the end, they were more than nice, helpful; room was perfectly clean, smelling awesome, cozy, nostalgic; location was everything! If i come back to Sarajevo ill definitely choose the same hotel again and again.
FoodandFashion M — Google review
Delighted with a 2 night stay here! The room was wonderful - clean, spacious, charming, comfortable - as are all the spaces in this hotel. The staff is amazing - I feel like there is no request too great. It’s almost like having a private concierge service. Also, despite being located in Old Town, the noise level was negligible. The perfect Sarajevo launching point. :)
Desiree G — Google review
After a bad experience in Sarajevo we couldn't ask for a better place! People are lovely and helpful. They met us for any request. Comfortable and very nice rooms. I recommend also the kitchen for breakfast and lunch.
Caterina S — Google review
Great position in the old part of the city. There is no parking space. Nearby is underground garage that charges 25KM for 24 hours parking. My husband and I were placed on the 1st floor in room 62. The mattress in the double bed in that room is in very bad condition. Under the cotton sheet, we noticed another plastic ?? We didn't menage to sleep because it was very uncomfortable. We were guests of the same hotel a few years ago and were very satisfied. This time, despite the kindness of the staff, we left unsatisfied and sleepless. Next time in Sarajevo we will look for another accommodation.

The Hotel Mod offers clean and comfortable rooms in Sarajevo, a short walk from the Miljacka River riverfront. The staff is polite and welcoming, making this a great choice for travelers looking for a quality accommodation in the city.
I had a very good stay for four nights. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and true to the photos. The location was convenient to explore the old town.
Namchoke S — Google review
Disappointing experience – expected better Unfortunately, our stay didn’t fully meet expectations. The Wi-Fi was weak and only secured with outdated WPA1, which didn’t feel safe. The bathroom was very small and showed visible signs of mold, which made things uncomfortable. We were also surprised by the parking situation. Although a parking spot was advertised as included, there was no hotel-owned parking. Instead, we were offered to have our car taken to a distant location we didn’t know and wouldn’t have direct access to. That solution didn’t feel transparent or convenient. The most frustrating part was the payment process. Although we booked through Booking.com and provided a valid credit card, we were later asked to return to the hotel in person because the owner’s bank couldn’t process the transaction remotely. That caused unnecessary stress. On the positive side, the hotel owner seemed genuinely kind and tried his best to help. Still, due to the issues mentioned, I personally wouldn’t return — but I do hope they work on these areas for future guests.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and always ready to help, making me feel truly welcome. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent, close to the city center but still quiet and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious with a variety of fresh options every morning. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area and I will gladly come back on my next trip!

I really like our room and the location. However, what makes this hotel arguably the best in town, are the two brothers running it - awesome people
Biochem G — Google review
The locations is perfect! The rooms are clean and super well equipped, and the two brothers running the hotel are awesome.

Charming little city hotel, managed by two lovely, very helpful brothers. Greatly located within walking distance to the old city.

Amazing location, quick 5min walk to the main street. Nice prices, and excellent +++ service. They were very helpful with transport to the airport. Only negative was that our AC did not work.

Hotel was super clean and super comfortable, but the biggest plus for this hotel goes to the staff. I have never been in a hotel with a more polite, friendly and accommodating staff and because of them I will surely book here again.

The Hercegovina Hotel is located in Sarajevo, close to the city centre and the Vrelo Bosne National Park. The hotel offers air conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi, a restaurant and a spa. There is also a pool and hot tub on site. Shuttle service is available to and from the airport.
Nice and cozy hotel. Very friendly staff in a quiet neighborhood. Be aware of crime around the area if you leave your car there.

very friendly and helpful staff great location, very safe for children to roam around in the nearby park which is not even a minute away from the hotel rooms are somewhat old and are clean but not very well kept, there are so many spiders so if you have a phobia from crawlers this might not be the best option for you the air conditioning is not the best it might as well be nonexistent this is a great location, the hotel has some serious great potential it’s very beautiful, if it gets remodeled it could be way better idk if i would stay here again just because i’m terrified of spiders

The hotel where I stayed because of the Balkan tour. The hotel where I stayed because of the Balkan tour. Balkan turu nedeni ile konakladığım otel. The hotel I stayed at because of the Balkan tour. Balkan turu nedeniyle kaldığım otel. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. If I had a chance to give 0 points, I would give 0 points. The hotel does not deserve to receive positive points in any respect. The room we stayed in was used by someone else before, it was dirty but not cleaned by the hotel staff. When we reported the situation to the reception, they said that there is nothing they can do to us and you will only stay one night. they didn't get the room cleaned and said they can't give a new room. there was hair in the room, dust and poop residue in the toilet. we were nauseous. Also, the breakfast was awful, I couldn't eat anything even though I paid for it. If you are thinking of staying here, don't even think about it, staying here will be a great disservice to yourself.

I stayed. It's a disgusting place. Staff are very rude and rude. Nothing was done that we asked him to change. The siphon is not working. They didn't come to fix it either. There is an insect. Worst place I've ever seen in my life

Hotel Old Sarajevo is a modern yet minimalist hotel with local and Oriental touches, such as beautiful tables, pillows, and rugs. It is highly rated for its cleanliness, staff, and comfort. The hotel's ideal location in the old town of Sarajevo allows easy access to attractions like the Sebilj Fountain, Sarajevo City Hall, and Barcarsija Street. Guests have praised the hotel for its lovely rooms, sincere staff, fast internet, and charming decor.
What a gem of a place! Right in the heart of the old part of the city- a stones throw from the city hall and the fountain. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel to it. Very very clean and comfortable. The rooms are modern and cheery. The bathroom had a rain shower! The staff- Ahmad, Edena and Amelia were so friendly and lovely- going out of their way. Amazing value for money, exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to go back :)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Hotel in a Great Location We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Old Sarajevo! The location is unbeatable—right in a pedestrian zone, surrounded by great restaurants, shops, and all the main attractions within walking distance. Our room was clean, modern, and well maintained. The housekeeping team was cheerful and clearly proud of their work. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, giving us maps, directions, and tips on what to see nearby. They even helped us find a local store to buy SIM cards. A lovely touch: one staff member brought us iced water on a hot day—so thoughtful and appreciated! The room was a comfortable size and had everything we needed. Special thanks to the hotel for arranging our airport pickup with Omo, a fantastic, safe driver who spoke perfect English and made us feel at ease right away. Highly recommend this hotel—we’ll definitely stay here again!

The location is as good as it can get if you plan on walking around the city. Within minutes to many choices of restaurants, shops, etc. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the rooms were very nice. Also is quite quiet, especially considering it is in a busy area. The breakfast was also very good.

It's a really good hotel. Good rooms, good location. But the most important thing is hotels worker and owner very nice people. Mr. Niyaz took care of everything regarding our trip to Sarajevo — even when our car was towed by the police.

A hotel where I'm very happy to come and meet people here. The rooms are clean, the hotel coffee is delicious and the fruits are always fresh, you can find everything you are looking for in this hotel. There are people who think of you as much as you do. I am very happy to meet the ladies(Amelia and Edina) at the reception. I hope they live a beautiful life like their hearts.💖
Esra — Google review
A very good modern boutique three star hotel in an excellent location in old town. The rooms are small but clean, modern and well maintained. The rooms may be a bit pricy for a three star hotel, but that is justified by the prime location and excellent service provided.
Mahomed P — Google review
The receptionist was absolutely lovely, allowing me to store my luggage with her, whilst also offering us coffee and water. Thank you very much!
Yusuf A — Google review
Hotel Old Sarajevo is a truly charming boutique hotel, possibly one of the most updated accommodations within the old town. The interior exudes a unique and welcoming atmosphere, blending modern comfort with the historic surroundings. The staff here go above and beyond, surpassing Balkan standards with their friendliness and genuine hospitality. They were always on hand, offering assistance and ensuring our stay was as pleasant as possible. It's important to note that as the hotel is located in the old town, hence there are no lifts available. Additionally, for those traveling by car, paid parking is available nearby, and I highly recommend making a reservation in advance for a smoother arrival experience. *Some tips: Pack a overnight bag or a lighter luggage if you are able to store the bigger luggage in the car. While the rooms were clean, it requires some extra cleaning attention to maintain the highest standards . Nevertheless, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the unique character of the hotel and the exceptional service provided by the staff.

The Hotel Latinski Most is a popular 19th century hotel located in central Sarajevo. It's perfect for budget travellers as it's right in the city centre and has free parking. The rooms are small but cozy, with mustard coloured walls and low ceilings. There is a restaurant on site, as well as free wi-fi and good facilities for visitors including an outdoor pool, fitness centre, sauna and bar.
a very friendly and professional staff as you feel home really was so helpful and super star guide from the 1st second i booked till they dropped me at the airport . the Hotel in the heart of Sarajevo with a charming decoration, super clean and great furniture plus a central location in the heart of Sarajevo as The Latin Bridge is right out of your door with many restaurants is 1 min walking . Also it has all the amenities mentioned with great decorations and cooling/Heating A/C. Over all it was the best experience ever and sure will come and repeated again.
Hadia S — Google review
Stay with a balcony view of one of the most important spots in European 20th century history. The location is prime! Totally loved it. Spending evenings overlooking the Latin bridge will for ever stay in my memory. The staff were super friendly and always smiling. I could feel their warmth. The breakfast was a bit weird though.. my recommendation: Skype the breakfast and go have a nice burek and coffee just across the bridge. It will cost nothing and taste much better!
Vladimir D — Google review
The location can not be beat! This is a very friendly hotel and the service was excellent. The breakfast cellar is efficient and our room was very clean. I wished I had asked for their nicest room on the top floor as our room on the second floor was a bit small for a couple, also th ere was no window:(. It wasn't that big of a deal, just wanted to pass on my two cents worth
McKenzie M — Google review
Everything was excellent at Hotel Latinski most. Receptionist was very helpful and go over and above to accommodate us with our wishes (finding the best hair salon for my wife, massages, good places to eat, etc. Will recommend to everyone.
Siniša S — Google review
Adequate hotel, breakfast is pretty bad. I'd recommend you skip it and go to the bakery right across the bridge, or try Sova cafe for good coffee (and cheap coffee)
