Wellness hotel
Hôtel Oceania Clermont-Ferrand is a contemporary four-star hotel located at 82 Boulevard Francois Mitterrand. It offers airy rooms with free Wi-Fi, room service, a restaurant, a fitness center, and parking. The hotel also features pet-friendly rooms, mountain views, laundry services, a hot tub, and a spa and wellness center. Guests can choose rooms with Italian-style walk-in showers or suites with spa baths.
The staff was friendly and helpful at all hours. The location is excellent with many food and sight-seeing options nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean with comfortable beds. The spa area was well equipped and clean. There is parking available in a garage below the hotel, which was really convenient and reasonably priced. We will stay here again.

Hotel oceania was like home away from home. Clean, Serene, and at the heart of town. The hotel has a coffee maker in each room. Microwave on the second and fourth floor of the hotel. There was no fridge in the room, no washing machine within the hotel environment. You have the option to either book with breakfast included or pay 20 euros for breakfast. For an African traveler, Mama Africa restaurant makes a delicious meal. I had jollof rice with plaintain at the restaurant. It was a wonderful experience.
Yahya M — Google review
Great hôtel, nice staff , not a lot of people, jacuzzi free , all clean in the heart of Clermont. I absolutely recommend it. I stayed the night of 12 to 13 July 2025.
M A — Google review
We only stayed for a night on our way from Paris to Lourdes. The place was clean, room was spacious and the location was very central, but still quiet. Lots of eateries within 5-10 minutes walk. The view was beautiful too. Breakfast spread was standard: mostly pastry, bread, salami ham and cheese.
Hans J — Google review
Had a group dinner at the hotel restaurant. Very nice space with good food, great dessert, and a very nice patio for a drink.
U.g. L — Google review
The staff was warm and friendly. Very helpful and their English was good. Overall a nice place to stay. The breakfast is good but has the standard French style of eggs and bacon that's not a favorite of most Americans I would say.

The hotel offers unpretentious accommodations suitable for families, featuring an outdoor pool, fitness center, and bike rentals. Guests can enjoy the seasonal menu at the restaurant and make use of the 8 meeting rooms equipped with modern technologies for seminars.
We’ve stayed here before on our way to southern France and were really impressed with the quality of the room, the service and the food in the restaurant. This time it was just as good. An excellent experience!
David J — Google review
Booked last minute as our travel plans changed unexpectedly. So happy to have found this wonderful hotel. Check in was fast, room was spotlessly clean. Bar had a wide choice of beers & wines. Dinner was a fantastic meal with many choices on the menu. Breakfast was buffet with again many choices. If you are looking for a hotel in a quiet location but still close to tge city and only 5 minutes to the Airport then book the Novotel
David B — Google review
Easy to access off A71 and plenty of free parking. Superb staff without exception. Beautifully designed public areas including outside patio and restaurant. Excellent dinner.
Lesley G — Google review
Nice family friendly hotel close to the highway with pool and its nice terrasse to dine at night, games and parc for the kids, whirlpool and a small gym. Employees were welcoming and efficient and there was a nice atmosphere with different foreign families staying at the hotel.
Michele B — Google review
This is an excellent airport hotel in Clermont Ferrand however expect lots of cigarette smoke in the hallways.
Gillian L — Google review
Convenient hotel in terms of location. Fairly close to Clermont-Ferrand airport. They have a restaurant which does good food for dinner. Lots of space to relax outside with deck chairs and a pool. The rooms are comfortable. Lots of free parking outside too.
Julia C — Google review
The hotel is conveniently located near the airport. Short drive into the city center. Close to the highway. The interior of the public areas are nicely refreshed. Only the air-conditioning in the room does not do much which leaves the room pretty warm too sleep in. They have a gym with some equipment like cross trainer, running belt and bike. But only have 2 sets of weights which does not allow for much exercise. The gym is also located above the Spa with jacuzzies which makes it very humid because of the half open construction.
Jeroen D — Google review
What a lovely hotel - great facilities, especially the pretty, quiet, rear gardens and outdoor swimming pool, with a children's play area, bug hotels and bird feeding stations; a real delight to be able to sit outside in the sunshine on the many available chairs with little noise surprisingly from the nearby road infrastructure and small airport. The hotel's restaurant offered a wide selection of meals, encompassing fish and meat; our evening meals were delicious and the wines offered were excellent, and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. We will definitely use this hotel again - a jewel in the ACCOR chain.

The reason why I have chosen this hotel is because of the location and proximity to Michelin office. The front desk team are so friendly and helpful. They’re always try to do their best to make feel home. I had an early morning flight and they prepared me the breakfast 4:45 ! The room is not so spacious, but it’s still clean and neat. The small bar-fridge wasn’t cooling. The breakfast variety was pretty much 👍🏻👍🏻 Parking is available if needed. They arranged the taxi to the airport. He arrived on time.
Fouad K — Google review
Tremendous hotel. The hotel was able to accommodate a last minute booking for two weeks and I was greatly impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel, the service, the amenities, the quality of the rooms, furniture, fixtures, and bedding were all superb. Room was extremely large and exceeded all expectations on size (Junior Suite). Water bottles on site, daily housekeeping, and the on site bar were great assets! While the location is not near the city centre, it is a short walk. The quietness of the area was greatly appreciated and it’s very close to the Tram if needed. I will stay at this hotel anytime I visit going forward!
M C — Google review
We stayed one night with two rooms and appreciated being placed in an area that made it easy to stay connected without being in each other’s space. I had planned to use the spa but ran out of time. All the staff were friendly and professional. Breakfast was good, I've had better, I've had worse! The rooms were nicely decorated, the bed very comfortable, and the shower was great. We parked the car at the hotel and we took advantage of the trams, that were free on the weekend.

Magnifique! The hotel is decorated with attention to the detail. The personal is very friendly and professional. The SPA is clean and cozy. The massage with Alice was a trip to heaven. She feels each the points of tension and works them out. Here massage techniques are really good.

The Aiden is a wonderful hotel in Clermont-Ferrand. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful. Great customer service and care. Special thanks to Lila (restaurant hostess), Charly and Emmy (in the front desk). They made my wife and I stay a wonderful experience. Aiden is lucky to have such a wonderful staff at this property In Clermont-Ferrand.

A great hotel - we stayed for one night en route from Roscoff to Nice. Lovely staff who speak great English. Rooms were large and comfy with a lovely bathroom & great shower. Dinner was nice, not a large menu but enough. Breakfast was an excellent choice - cooked, cold, pastrys, fruit, yogurt, pancakes, teas, coffees. All very secure. Car park is good although quite tight. A great place to stay.
Rebecca T — Google review
The hotel is lovely. Very neat and has a relaxing and soothing ambience. It is also in a good location, which is close to the tram station and our company headquarters. The food is also very good. However, the soaps and lotions in the bathroom should be eplenished regularly. My team and I had a not so good experience with an employee who was very rude to us and demanded in an ordering tone that we move to another location within the restaurant. This was a sore point in an otherwise excellent stay at the Aiden.

The Kyriad Prestige Clermont Ferrand Centre is a 4-star hotel located in the heart of Clermont Ferrand. It offers 75 rooms and six suites, all air conditioned and equipped with unlimited Wi-Fi, a desk space, and satellite TV. The hotel has recently undergone renovations in its common areas, giving it a stylish design. Guests can enjoy amenities such as a sauna, gym, and access to a fitness center.
Rooms not yet renovated but still very well kept, clean, big and comfortable. Very good breakfast with gluten free options. Underground parking.
JMC — Google review
Denied service at early hours of the morning. "We are closed" and locked the outside doors. Meanwhile, cars pulled up on the *sidewalk* and women entered the same locked doors to go with the laughing receptionist. Asked about room pricing, because the screens moved too fast. "Go online and leave, i am calling the cops." I waited for the cops to arrive, for 1 hour. No cops arrived. There is an INTERNATIONAL EVENT and yet, international customer is denied service. While the receptionist laughs behind the locked automatic entrance door. Sign says 24h bar, yet the receptionist says the entire hotel is closed. Says the price is 200€ before asking which room i want. Or which DATE i want. All prices 200€ with no breakfast included. The sign does not reflect this. Great appearance. Digital screens move too fast too translate. Front desk service is worst of all hotels across Europe.
Darius L — Google review
Everything as expected, positively, which counts for a lot when you’re scouring more economic choices. Clean room and friendly staff. Breakfast has a good choice, reasonable enough for 20 bucks. Underground parking is extra for guests (why I don’t know as it was pretty empty). Bit of a Fawlty Towers style lift (hiccups to a stop) and stairs are good exercise anyway.
Adrian B — Google review
Very beautiful hotel, recently renovated; nice interior. The room was not so big but big enough. One downside is that it was extremely hot on our bedroom, had to sleep with the window open with all the noise from the city madness. 🙈 Breakfast is a bit expensive (18 euro pp) but it was very good and a lot of options.
Ina M — Google review
The most uncomfortable beds you can imagine in a hotel. The springs can be felt with nothing but air between them. The two mattresses together for the double bed are not worn the same, and if you attempt to sleep between them with your partner, the beds will pull apart, being held together by only the thin top sheet connecting them. The rift between the two mattresses, as well as the difference in firmness of the two mattresses, causes one to sleep on one or the other. No mattress topper to create consistency of comfort. The rooms are old, with mold on the shower tiles near the bottom of the rub. The carpet is old smells when you walk in the room. There is but a single side light on the wall and a singular window for light, leaving the room totally depressing. The house keeping comes knocking at 11am and again at 1130, even though check out is noon. Rushed, no class or service. The reception has no amenities...if you've forgotten something, only items to purchase so make sure you don't need a tampon or lotion of you'll be asked to spend €7 on necessities. They have tried to dress up the hotel by renovation in the lobby, but once you move into the elevator and above it becomes clear, this is nothing more than an elevated motel. One positive, the front desk staff is friendly.
Julieanne M — Google review
Worst value for the price in my life. Customer service by the receptionist was unprofessional via the phone. They do not provide room delivery for anything you need, you must go and collect it yourself from the reception even if it's a towel or slippers!!!
Al S — Google review
Good for an overnight stay. Rather 3 than 4 stars. Breakfast could be a bit more choice. Dinner was good.
Roy H — Google review
Ok overall, I did not like the beds and pillows and the walls are not too thick.

Stunning hotel. Beautifully located. Staff very helpful and kind. We were at the 4th floor and had a beautiful view of the Cathedral and city centre. The breakfast was amazing, such a big variety of food options. My kids enjoyed it as well. We don’t have pets but seem to be a pet friendly hotel. We will come back.

Second stay at this location in two years. Still in perfect condition-spotlessly clean rooms and common space, beautifully laid out breakfast. Very friendly staff. Excellent location for walking to restaurants, and parking is just under the hotel (must pay) for easy access.

It was a wonderful experience staying for a week.Hotel is well located and everything from check -in to check-out is smooth. Staff at the reception and in the dining areas or bar were polite and respectful.
Ishu K — Google review
This hotel is a firm favourite of ours. Why? Many reasons including really well placed, excellent customer service, spacious comfortable rooms with good bedding and good bathrooms. Breakfast deserves a special mention, really enjoy the use of local produce (and the map/explanation of where it comes from). This was our fifth stay (works really well for breaking a long journey through France) and hoping for many more to come. One minor suggestion (I think maybe this did happen previously) is that information could be given on the name of the car park/how to access it. Thanks to the staff, we will be back

The cleaning of my room was below standard. My room door was left open twice after the cleaner had been in. It's not as good as it was last year. No chef so no food available

This hotel is rubbish! Don't go there if you value your mental health! The employees are rude, they don't say hello, I did an internship there! Horrible!
Juliade63 — Google review
A good location, great parking, standard room but comfortable. Bed not hard enough and duvet too hot. Staff as been the dark point here, at the reception: not welcoming, not helpful, no sense of the customer service, I left with a nut in my guts for the way I have been treated. Cleaner staff did even say ‘hi’ back. The staff from the bar are at least smiling and helpful.

Disgusting hotel. Not clean at all. I only took pictures of a few things but the entire room was gross. We had to wipe down everything ourselves. Breakfast is cold and not worth the charge. Also, warning!! They no longer have an underground parking garage. I booked the room a long time ago and thought that they did (which as you can see from other reviews they used to). Now you have to park in a public lot away from the hotel and pay extra for this. So unhappy with this hotel.
Amanda M — Google review
I have mixed feelings. What I liked is the reception staff, they were all wonderful. Always with a smile and helpful. 5* for them What I really didn’t like and unfortunately that left me with bad impression of my stay is the behaviour of dining manager or whatever was his role (guy with glasses). To explain what happened: 4 of us were dining there. nobody liked the food we got. my friend who barely complain on food ever said it was really bad there. I, who ordered cut of meat already knew something was wrong because of the smell of the meat. I couldn’t chew on it. I don’t remember to get such bad cut of meat ever with so much membranes I couldn’t even cut it. It was late, we were tired, waited already long. We ate what we could, I just touched salad and french fries and left the meat. Guy came to take plates and asked me if I didn’t like it and to explain why. I confirmed, and said smell, taste and chewy texture was really bad for me. He made face like I insulted him, I didn’t want any scene, just wanted go to bed so I said ‚but that’s okay, it’s not a problem’ and he said ‚well I don’t have any problem’. LOL. arrogant :) you should mister. because you serve disgusting food and you yet have the audacity to act like spoiled brat. I really don’t like people who shouldn’t be serving people due to lack of knowledge on how to serve. ‚you don’t have any problem’? lol! neither do I. there would be more business trips and surely holiday Inn won’t be my/our choice if you acting like annoyed kid. grow up. learn how to take criticism and pass it to the chefs. as simple as that.

Really nice and cosy hotel. Staff is amazing. Perfect for transit and weekend stays. Will come back for sure.

As you can see from my reviews I usually/ mainly leave good reviews. There are only two good things to be said about this hotel - the underground parking for my motorbike and a young man named Sabri who worked on reception , he helped me with the parking and with a fan for my room as the air conditioning was worse than useless as it pumped hot air into my room . Also the food was of a very low quality one dessert comes to mind an apricot flan - a truly awful culinary experience I hope never to repeat , the cheese was good and the coffee machine but very little else in the food department was up to a decent standard.
Paulstix1 — Google review
Lovely hotel in centre of Clermont-Ferrand. Room was the usual good holiday inn standard, with all the facilities you expect. On the night we stayed it was very quiet but we were made very welcome in the restaurant and the food was excellent. I would have liked to stay longer and visit the city more, maybe next time!!
John W — Google review
Road tripping through France we arrived here at midnight. Staff very accommodating, used the underground gated parking. Rooms are small (compared to USA hotels) but very new and clean. Beds very comfortable!!
Andrew M — Google review
So. I really like the hotel, just not a perfect 3 star kind of like.... more like a 4.5. The rooms are slightly dated but it's definitely clean and the beds are very comfortable. I've stayed here at least 2 months worth of nights and am always happy and will continue staying here.

Good hotel, well priced. About 10 minute walk into town. Rooms good size, clean, nice size bathroom. Breakfast was great, large selection of different things to try. If you don't want to spend a fortune then definitely worth a try.
Anne M — Google review
Very nice hotel, room was clean, wifi was fast, staff were friendly, breakfast options were plenty(eggs, pancakes, cereal, baguettes, breads, jams, croissants)! The 4-legged supervisor was very friendly too, although he expects tips in shares of your breakfast 😸. There’s also a bike rental just up the road which is super convenient! Not sure if it’s specific to this hotel, or hotels in France, but the soap bars and toilet paper was really small, and they don’t provide washcloths.
Eamonn A — Google review
Clean, friendly staff & pet friendly, secure parking at night at no cost. The rooms are spacious and clean. Perfect place for a stop over. Location is a bit off if u would like to walk into town, as it is located about 30 mins walking & in a bit of a shady industrial area. You need a car or will need to take a taxi into town.
Paul — Google review
Nice staff, good room, it has space and seemed clean. Nice breakfast and good parking possibilities. For France it’s quite good, we’ve had our share of dirty hotels in France 🙈

Perfect stopover hotel. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were practical, immaculately clean, in good condition. Coffee facilities and secure car park were much appreciated. Excellent value for the price

Clean rooms, friendly people. We enjoyed our 1 night stay in the family room with 4 persons during our journey to Spain. We definitely will return.
Saskia S — Google review
This place has a few issues, but they are easy to overcome: - Bring food because it is located far away from any bar/cafe/restaurants - Bring alcohol to kill the bedbugs that will bite you overnight - Do not ever book online in this place because the prices are 30eur more expensive than the prices offered in site. If you have the food and the pest killer, and you happen to be teleported in front of the building, still check the place and for the love of god, go and stay literally anywhere else in the city because it is not worth the trouble.

Really nice hotel right on the edge of downtown. We had a great experience here. Rooms were clean and fresh. Bathrooms were kept nice and clean and the overall vibe of this hotel was good and friendly. Staff was nice and it was quiet at night. Also just a couple blocks from the tram station that will take you downtown. Nice little town honestly with a nice hotel
Nick G — Google review
New, modern hotel in an area that is being redeveloped. Rooms are a good size with lovely bathrooms (not pods!) and king size beds (or twin). Staff were very helpful. Parking is in a height-restricted public car park but there are spaces reserved outside the hotel for cars with roof boxes/ bike racks (same price 6.50€ per 24 hours). The hotel contacted us to explain the parking and reserve an on-site space. Boulangerie located in the same building and a salad restaurant next door. Small supermarket 5 mins walk. Location quiet (weekend) and a few green spaces useful for dogs.

Wanted a hotel convenient for Hospital. This was the closest and suited our needs perfectly for 1 night. Could do with tea/coffee facility in the room but understand for the price it is basic.
Anne T — Google review
Lovely helpful staff and a good clean room. Great for a stopover tho as was a Sunday eve much in the surrounding areas was closed. We would Def still use this hotel again it was spotless.

We first booked this hotel for a night for our trip to Spain. We arrived at around 2 am. Hotel staff welcomed us and we got our room within seconds. Room was very cosy and clean. Bed was just perfect to get a good sleep after a long road. Curtains didn't let in any daylight in the morning, so we could rest well. Bathroom was very clean and modern. Overall the hotel is fresh, staff is friendly and the coffee was delicious. On our way back, we first wanted to book another hotel due to route changes, but we didn't want to take any risks and returned to Clerment-Ferrand. We highly recommend it. Premiere Classe! The name says it all!

Clean and comfortable hotel. Easy check in and they also give you a discounted rate for the nearby parking lot. There are many food places around and a pharmacy, which is very convenient.

Nice and brand new hotel. Very clean. Bedroom are a bit small but it’s perfect for a night or two. There is a parking available but it’s full if you arrive a bit late. Breakfast was ok, you have a few bread choices and cake. They have marmalade, nutella and Tropicana orange juice.

Hotel
Novotel Suites Clermont Ferrand Polydome is a contemporary hotel located in the heart of Clermont-Ferrand. The city, surrounded by the Chaine des Puys volcanoes, boasts a rich history dating back to its days as Nemessos, capital of the Arverni people. The hotel offers bright suites, some with kitchenettes, and amenities such as a casual bar and a gym.
We had a great stay here - the location is right along the tram line (so useful for getting into town, or other parts of the city). The room was spacious and clean, and the service excellent. The only downside was that it advertises itself as a self-catering facility (offering a hob and kitchen facilities in the suites), which is not the case - we had a fridge and microwave and small sink, but it would have been nice to have had a hob as advertised. Still, it was very good value for money, we would definitely consider staying there again!
Leonore W — Google review
The location is great for the tram for easy access to the city center and it is perfectly located for walking to Michelin Cataroux or Les Carmes! The room is well laid out. It is nice to have a couch and table, so that you don't have to sit or lay on the bed the whole time. The room gets quite hot, with no good way to adjust the temperature or fan speed - there is a thermostat in the room, but it seems to not work at all.
Nathaniel H — Google review
Recently renovated, everything is neat and new. We took a room for a family of 4 and were very satisfied. The staff was extra-helpful! The daily parking fee is a bit expensive in my opinion but there are plenty of public slots just outside of the hotel (which are free between 19h-9h).
Nguyen A — Google review
This was not my first time at this hotel, but the quality of stay and service was a lot less than what I've experienced before. The handwashing gel was not available. The AC didn't work properly The TV would not connect to my devices The window would not open all the out (which made the situation worse as the AC was not working).
A H — Google review
The hotel is well located if you come for Michelin, as it is like 10 mins walking from Les Carmes and the tram stop is just in front. The rooms are big and very clean, the staff is great. However, the breakfast is not excellent. There is a good variety of cheese, some ham and eggs and some sweets. What is missing is fresh legumes and fruits, maybe some salads. Also, maybe a machine to make your own orange juice would be great.
Jianu D — Google review
actually the overall rate would be 9; good hotel, clean, nice staff, good breakfast, good and safe location. On our second night we came home at 10pm and wanted to have a drink, as we did on the first night ( we ordered 1 glass of champagne and 1 beer, 13€). The women on the front desk didn't want to serve us; we only could buy a bottle of champagne in the shop. When we told us we had the same the night before she told us this was impossible, and returned to her office. A pity, otherwise this would have been a nice stay.
Marleen W — Google review
Good reception (Mr. Eliot was very friendly and kindness) renewed room, good breakfast, well localized.

Novotel Suites Clermont Ferrand became our break location when coming back from holidays. Clean, everything you need in the room if you're travelling with a baby (mini kitchen with dish washer, microwave, fridge and 1 electric cook), good breakfast and a park right in front of it. We used to stay more than 1 night to visit the old volcanos nearby. We will come here again.

A very nice hotel in Clermont Ferrand. The location is good. And it is extremly dog-friendly: our dog received a toy and goodies as a welcome gift. Another highlight is the breakfast: the buffet is very large and all products are fresh. And you get a wonderful view on the city (breakfast is on the 6th floor). I recoommend this place to everybody.
Thomas W — Google review
Location is perfect. Breakfast was superb. But the problem was that it was very cold in the room from the window - our baby was already sleeping so we had no chance to do any changes. We had no bottle of water in the room and third bed in the room for a child was not made up(
Veronika Z — Google review
Perfect location for exploring the old town. The easy on-site parking is important to us. Very smart hotel and spacious room. Excellent breakfast buffet and the view is indeed superb.
Patricia S — Google review
Beds were really comfortable, but the rooms, although clean, could use a refresh. - would have given 4 stars otherwise. We had a double family room (5th floor) with a sliding door, and it was just right in size. Don't know what the standard double would look like. Location was good, 5 minute walk from the cathedral, restaurants and bars. The best part? Fantastic breakfast buffet with fresh squeezed orange juice, pastries, yoghurt, fruit, eggs, bacon, amazing cheese selection. And a great view over the city (we had fog), including some tables outside on a small terrace. Strongly recommended! Last point: if you park in the underground garage, and you drive a car with low clearance, sports or Tesla for example, you WILL scrape the underbody on the concrete as you drive over the edge of the ramp down.
Phil R — Google review
I stayed only briefly - arriving very late and leaving early - but the room and the service was delightful. A special thank you to Roman for being a charming host at reception
Rebecca M — Google review
Negative: - shower in bathtub - small bathroom - small toiletroom (separate) - bad toiletpaper and not enough - small (crowded room) - dirty balcony - sharp (metal) corners of the wall in the room, I cut myself (!) Positive: - excellent breakfast - excellent location, few minutes walk from the centre (though noisy because on busy street and opposite a small park where youngsters enjoy themselves until the wee hours. With closed windows and the airco working it's not a problem at all, very silent then) - very good coffee in the lounge, with sympathetic waitress
Dick K — Google review
All the staff are great: professional and helpful but the kindness showed to me and my family by Sandrine and Jacques was very much appreciated. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Jane W — Google review
The hotel is in a great location with tram access on corner and many restaurants / shops within easy walking distance. Only 'complaint' is that AC turns off automatically but became use to this. Hotel is clean and front desk staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast had plenty of choices and the view from 6th floor breakfast room was amazing. They were doing some renovations on room floor but no interruption from it during stay. Overall a pleasant stay.

Guests can enjoy the convenience of services such as concierge assistance, luggage storage, airport transfers, and 24-hour front desk support.
Absolutely fabulous hotel and value for money! We needed a family room and the loft rooms are a perfect set up that whilst compact give multiple sleeping spaces and some needed privacy for resting family members. The rooms were modern, clean and beds very comfortable. We opted to pay for the breakfast at the hotel and it didn’t disappoint both in terms of quality and variety. Would definitely stay in our future trips if passing in this direction.

A lovely hotel, close to the motorway. The reception staff were helpful and polite. The room was nicely decorated and we had a spacious, private terrace. The bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows sublime! A perfect nights sleep was followed by a great breakfast. Highly recommend this hotel.
Peter S — Google review
The rooms and the facilities are very lovely and modern. The service is quite slow - we had to ask the reception three times to get an ironing board, which we got at around 11pm in the night. The breakfast was good but missing vegetables. The location is close to the highway, which is good if you’re passing through.
Daniela L — Google review
The Grand Mess hotel in Clermont-Ferrand is a gem for design lovers. Everything here feels intentional, from the hallway lighting to the cozy, wood-panelled rooms. It’s clear a lot of care went into the aesthetic—think Wes Anderson vibes with a modern twist. The whole place feels like a movie set, and you’ll probably find yourself taking way more pictures than planned. The bar and restaurant downstairs are just as stylish, with bold red signage and a polished retro look that stands out. Breakfast is classic French with fresh pastries and coffee, and the room service setup is elegant too. Overall, the hotel feels fresh, spotless, and well run—definitely worth it if you’re into good design and a solid experience.

The Old Hotel Ravel is a charming, small hotel located between the city center and the train station. It offers simple yet comfortable rooms with amenities such as TVs, free Wi-Fi, and parking. The hotel's Art Deco mosaic facade and lobby exude an old-world charm that adds to its appeal. Despite its dated appearance, the rooms are clean and tidy, providing everything a traveler needs at reasonable prices. Guests appreciate the welcoming staff and overall pleasant atmosphere of this historic building.
Great place to stay in Clermont-Ferrand Great service. The rooms are great with just what you need. It's very clean and the hotel still has its own atmosphere and personality.

A cheap but lovely hotel. I booked it as our was close to the railway station, but still in the direction of the city. It is a small and charming hotel, with access to a jacuzzi. The rooms are simple, but has everything you need. The staff was very helpful, and I appreciated the breakfast. Thank you for a nice stay!
Anders P — Google review
We paid 50 Euros for two people and hotel exceeded our expectation by far. Lobby is beautiful, owner beyond friendly, breakfast is great, Room was clean, beds were comfortable, internet fast ... and most importantly it has a Jaccuci. In that price range it's one of the best hotel I've been in.

I loved this place. Decidedly not fancy, but has everything a traveller needs and more. The rooms are dated, but in a charming way, and very clean and tidy. I had an excellent sleep. The real highlight was the staff and the overall vibe of the hotel. I felt welcomed which helped make an otherwise lacklustre stop in Clermont-Ferrand very nice. We don’t always have a choice as to where we have to stop while travelling, but hopefully we have a choice where we stay. I’d choose The Old Hotel Ravel on returning to Clermont-Ferrand. Merci!

What a hotel! With a pool on the terras (even if you don't use it, it's beautiful), a good bar and loads of character. And a very friendly and helpfull staf. We had some doubts, cause it looked a bit cheap, but the fear was ungrounded. The area is very charming and safe, but with pubs and restaurant around the corner. Very close to the center, 5 minutes away.

"The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Le Lion, Clermont-Ferrand" is a chic hotel located on the main square, offering contemporary quarters with designer furniture and parquet flooring. While convenient for exploring the city's sights, shops, and restaurants, the central location can be noisy due to lack of soundproofing. The hotel features a restaurant with terrace, a bar/lounge offering happy hour cocktails and detox juices, and amenities such as concierge services and free Wi-Fi.
We loved everything about our stay. The room was impeccably clean and had everything needed. The bed was very comfortable, and I would like to take the shower home with us! The restaurant was lively and the service perfect! I would recommend this reasonably priced ( for what you get) hotel! And it’s perfectly situated in the town on a beautiful square.
Arlette E — Google review
Beautiful boutique hotel, very well located. Super cool interior design. Rooms are spacious, super nicely decorated. Amazing food and breakfast. I stop here every year since 10 years on my way to Bordeaux, for a half trip relaxing evening and night. This year, Marie, at the Lobby, was especially nice, welcoming and helpful. They will see me once again next year!
Olivia D — Google review
Hi This review is for the hotel and not the restaurant (restaurant is good). Hotel rooms, stairs & corridors smell of cigarette smoke (as reported by another guest recently). The smoke isn’t from residents but sucked in from users of the lower terrace/outdoor cafe space due to the unusual attributes of the square and hotel. I feel for the hotel owners but this needs addressing. I’m an asthmatic and struggled through the night when it gets worse. Get an air purifier at the bottom of the stairs near reception! NO AIR CONDITIONING: I paid for a room with air conditioning and it worked during the day but I suspect it’s turned off for all rooms at night (this shouldn’t happen). NOISE: As the room had no air conditioning and I was struggling with the smoke I opened the window only to find employees cleaning the front terrace area and putting away table and chairs. This was up until 2:00am and the noise was loud (I was on 3rd floor). I went down at 1:35 to complain about the noise and lack of air conditioning. Nothing was resolved. The location of the hotel is excellent: If you are a smoker who likes saunas and noise then this is the ideal hotel for you. Experience could be much better with some adjustments. Hotel Le Lion please don’t respond with your usual response which is we will make management aware rather than doing something. I’m very disappointed this was my wedding anniversary.
G H — Google review
We booked for two nights but extended this to three as the city and the hotel were too good not to want more. Le Lion is a small hotel/auberge with an active cafe/bistrot on the main plaza in the middle of Clermont-Ferrand. But the windows are sound-proofed and the curtains can be black-out so that one can have quiet while being the in the midst of activity. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were sufficient but not voluminous. One thing to note is that there is an elevator but it requires one to go up or down half-flights of stairs; so not for the mobility impaired.
Alan W — Google review
Very nice room, a lot of intesting details, view direct on Place de Jaude. Satisfied with my one night stay and I will be coming back. Thank you for hospitality.
Martina B — Google review
Great central location on Place Jaude and excellent value for 163 euro for dinner bed and breakfast. Probably best place to park is the parking under place Jaude which is convenient although a bit pricey
Nigel G — Google review
I recently stayed at this hotel, and my overall experience was a mix of positives and challenges. Let me break it down . **Location (5/5):** One of the standout features of this hotel is its prime location. Situated in a bustling area, it's convenient for exploring the city and accessing various attractions. I couldn't have asked for a better location. **Room (4/5):** The room itself was impressive – spacious and impeccably clean. I appreciated the generous space provided, which made my stay comfortable. However, accessing the room was a bit of a hassle. Despite the presence of a lift, there were certain stairs that you always had to navigate, and being located on the top floor meant additional spiral stairs. The door to the room was surprisingly small, making it quite challenging to enter with luggage. **Cleanliness (3/5):** While the room was clean, there were a few areas that needed attention. The curtains appeared worn and stained, indicating a need for washing or replacement. This aspect affected the overall cleanliness and aesthetics of the room. **Conclusion (3.5/5):** In summary, the hotel's strong points include its excellent location and spacious, clean rooms. However, the tricky access, small door, and the state of the curtains were drawbacks that affected the overall experience. With some improvements in these areas, this hotel has the potential to offer a more seamless and pleasant stay for its guests. I hope this review helps you make an informed decision about your stay. Safe travels!

I highly enjoyed my stay here; the receptionist spoke a different language and was very helpful. The hotel is modern; it has a great bar at the bottom with good options and friendly staff. It is located in the centre of the town so that you can walk everywhere. It has many delicious restaurants nearby as well. The rooms are super clean, with good amenities and it's quiet, I couldn't hear any noises from outside.

Extremely friendly people here! When we asked about the food at dinner, the cheff came out with vegetable to show us the ingredients! So funny :-D We eat two nights dinner there in a row. Try there local dish with potatoe slices coverd in cheese, it's very tasty! The breakfast was very good too! Affordable and good service. Rooms are clean, but not perfectly sound proof. We had a good sleep nonetheless!

Modern Campanile standard, clean room and bath room, always efficiently organised. Bath room is small but clean and useful! The breakfast was very good, quality wise and variety wise, top.
Jan D — Google review
Have stayed in Campanile hotels many times before as they were a cheap option. It is obvious that the restaurant has been refurbished which is an improvement but highlights the dated accommodation blocks. Bit of an identity crisis going on. There are now more options with other hotels that are close on price.
John W — Google review
The hotel was good. Quite simple and basic. The receptionist was very rude when the cook gave me a coffee after breakfast had just ended. She seemed like she was on a mission to prove I didn't stay at the hotel. Asking my name and room number several times before finding it, all with an attitude. Seemed alot over a cup of coffee. On the other had they have a nice electric key machine that allows checking in at any hour of the night easy. Never seen that before. Great idea.
Sammie M — Google review
The hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were very nice. The rooms are basic but great for what we needed as we were just passing through for the night. It kind of reminded me like a motel you would see I'm the American movies. But as I say; clean, tidy, a place to get a shower and a decent nights sleep. Great if you're on the road.

The terrace is great it is mostly calm and has a beautiful view. It is clean, organised and well maintained. The receptionists are kind and attentive. There is a restaurant and a self-catering kitchen with oven and good equipment. I like the airy vibe of the building with the arcades and even though the window was open at all times the trains did not disturb me at all I could barely hear any. Mind they take a deposit on your payment card before you pay but it was refunded within four hours after check out. Overall the value for money is amazing. Some minor things like filthy staircase and tables left uncleared for hours..

Great hotel near the train station, beautiful and cosy. Rooms are simple but efficient, don't worry about the train rails proximity it is well sound proofed and the obscurity is total in the morning in the rooms to sleep late. The air-conditioned rooms come with private bathrooms and amenities such as work desks and wardrobes. While not spacious, it's suitable for self-driving travelers. Situated in a residential area, the hotel provides decent facilities but some guests have noted intermittent internet connection.
I recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and helpful thank you to Klaudia. The location was perfect. Overall I highly recommend for anyone looking for a pleasant and affordable stay.

Upon arrival was somewhat concerned with the appearance. Plastic shower toilet cubicle I wondered what the hell I'd walked into. But it was immaculate. went to bed woke up in morning thoroughly refreshed. I wanted basic and cheap. That's exactly what I got. But importantly it was very clean. It's a transit hotel not a holiday hotel.

This is located in a residential area. It is a relatively nice hotel with decent facilities. My only complaint is that the Internet connection isn't continuous and therefore you have to log in every time you turn your phone back on. It doesn't matter if you were just online 3 minutes before. If you stop surfing and do something else and come back to your phone three minutes later, it's like you were just connecting for the first time. This is the first hotel where I have experienced this phenomenon.

Good for one night. Basic hotel with small rooms. Yet good use of little space. Cheap. 5euro breakfast buffet. Not a lot of choices, but good enough.

Perfect overnight stop. Electric car charger available!!! Warm welcome. Great service!

Decent room but extremely dusty. I believe it’s because of the extreme texture on the walls holding dust and not necessarily housekeeping. As is typical with ibis the television (codes/password) did not work and neither did the air conditioner. The decor is common across much of the Accor chain. I’m not sure how many customers are teenagers but someone must like it. I had someone trying to enter my room and then knocking on my door who would not announce themselves so I would probably not stay here again in my own.

The rooms are rather small, but ideal for a quick stopover. We were able to book easily, and were greeted with friendly service.

Very clean room the bed was comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Shower temp was great immediately. Evening meal in the bistro was just what was needed. The highlight I have to say was the breakfast though. Fantastic choices. An improvement would be lights in car park for dark morning departures. Highly recommended. Watch your sat nav instructions though as we ended up back on the motorway doh.

This hotel has clean, comfortable rooms. The rest of the stay was disappointing. - The hotel seemed understaffed. On the busiest travel weekend in France, there was just one person checking people in, and there was a queue of several people when we arrived. In fact, another guest had called to get the attention of the receptionist. - While standing in the lift, a staff member sprayed air freshener into the lift and onto us, apologized and left. - We immediately went to the restaurant for an early dinner only to find out the restaurant was fully booked for the next hour and a half. There was no accommodation for hotel guests. Don’t count on the restaurant to have a table. - We had booked ”standard rooms” but were put into rooms on the top floor which had limited headroom. In other words, not standard rooms. - The breakfast was truly disappointing, the coffee was not drinkable, and the selection of food was very limited, and we couldn’t find a toaster. The orange juice was fine, however. - Parking is limited and we had significant difficulty leaving in the morning due to others parking in non-parking spaces. - Finally, recognizing that Ibis Styles longs to be trendy, we were able to overlook the motivational slogans on the walls and doors, until we used the toilet. On the inside of the door, at eye level when sitting was an incredibly silly double entendre. Not inspiring nor humorous. Other than that, the rooms were clean and comfortable.

I liked the size of the superior double room. All establishment throughout was clean and tidy. Restaurant was a little disappointing for lunch. Breakfast quality was good but a bit pricey for the content. Front desk staff is helpful if solicited directly at the desk. The QR code for room service did not seem to work. The hotel was quiet during May bank holiday week-end. A cute house cat sometimes wonders in and out of the lobby and would try their luck begging food from patrons. I like cats so I found it nice and welcoming. Cat allergy sufferers might think otherwise.

Ideal for an overnight stopover, rooms clean. Secure parking is €6 per parking spot per night. 500ml of draught lager is €6. Breakfast wasn't really a breakfast, not sure of price but I think it was cereals, cheese and some type of meat (closely guarded by the resident cat). The downside is, is the bathroom smelled horrible, in fact it was horrendous (probably the drainage).

We recently stayed at The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Le Marmotel, Clermont-Ferrand under extremely stressful and emotional circumstances. We had to make a last-minute trip after my husband’s mother was rushed to the nearby hospital. This was the only hotel within walking distance, so we booked out of necessity. What followed was the single worst hotel experience we have ever had. Upon arrival on Saturday morning, after driving all night, we were given a key card and went upstairs—only to discover that the room was already occupied. Yes, someone was asleep in the bed when we opened the door. We were horrified and went back to the front desk. The second room they gave us was far too small and facing the busy traffic, not the garden side as booked. We were beyond exhausted. Finally, we were given a room that matched the size we had paid for—on the so-called “garden side,” which was in reality just a parking lot. The following day, my sister-in-law and 8-year-old nephew arrived from Berlin, and I had booked them a room online in advance, requesting an early check-in. When we all went to the front desk to check them in, the staff told us the room would not be ready until 4pm—which was fine. But then, shockingly, the desk agent told my husband and me we had to check out immediately. We were stunned. We had extended our stay the day before, in person, with the front desk. But she insisted that we were only booked for Friday and Saturday. I explained that we hadn’t even been in France on Friday—we were in Stuttgart, and I had a reservation from our night in Stuttgart to prove it. The hotel had clearly booked the wrong dates and now expected us to vacate the room, saying a group was coming and they were full. This situation was deeply distressing. My husband and his sister needed to visit their critically ill mother in the hospital. Our nephew had nowhere to rest or relax. The lobby was filthy and uncomfortable. When my sister-in-law tried to grab a croissant from the breakfast area, she was met with hostility—a woman slapped her hand and barked that breakfast was only served from 7:30–10:30. We had no room for over five hours. I took my nephew to a nearby hotel to sit and have lunch while we waited. Eventually, we were allowed back to check in again. My nephew’s room (a wheelchair-accessible room) was moderately clean, which felt like a relief at this point. But our new room was a disaster—tiny, filthy, much smaller than what we had already paid for, and hadn’t been updated in over a decade. It was unsanitary and unfit for guests. When I tried to explain this, the desk agent told me there was nothing else available. I said my husband insisted on a refund, as we had been left without a room for five hours and then given a downgrade. She told me to return later when her colleague was in. When I came back later that evening, her colleague told me she could not give a refund—only a partial refund for the difference in room price. I explained this was completely unacceptable: we had paid for two nights but only had access to a room for a fraction of that time, and it wasn’t the room we booked. After outlining the entire situation—using a translator app, since she barely spoke English—she finally agreed to refund the final night. No one should stay here. I'm not sure who is writing these 5 star reviews. I've included photos of the hotel. The lobby is filthy and my sister-in-law said the food was spoiling - the fruit etc. in the lobby area.

The rooms are described as basic but clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and hot showers. The staff has been praised for their efficiency and helpfulness.
Lovely hotel, very easy to find on the way from the south of France and very easy to get back on the motorway to continue our journey the following day. It is a budget hotel, but the rooms while basic have what you need. They were clean and tidy. Showers were hot and clean. The bed was comfortable and a good night's sleep was had. The receptionist was very efficient and helpful. The hotel has exercises to do on the stairs, a lovely touch to keep active while there.

Awful place. Smallest room ever. The bathroom is no bigger than a broom cupboard, the shower screen isn't big enough to prevent the floor becoming a pool. The separate toilet is awkwardly small to say the least. It's not possible get out of bed without smacking into the wall which is about 40cm away. The shower gel had come off the wall and the hole covered by some sticky tape. The sheet didn't fit the bed. Worst night's sleep ever due to paper thin walls. Ugh. Never, ever going back. It's "cheap" for a reason. Breakfast was adequate.
Catherine P — Google review
As part of the Accor group, my expectations were higher. Our next stop was in a B&B hotel group. For the same price it was a lot better. After a very late arrival all we wanted was a good shower. This wasn’t the case and the toilet flush didn’t work which made a family room awkward. Breakfast was ok for the price. But nothing more….

Lady in front desk was very friendly and helpful, but hotel absolutely joke... avoid this hotel, rooms very small, hotel old,now they do some renovation but no one informed, not worth to stay in this hotel!!!

The hotel is conveniently located minute's from motorway. I had booked room whilst we were on route, on arrival could not find booking Internet must have failed. Reception said could not have price as online was different fair enough so agreed to pay 20 euros more, next was cannot use loyalty number as not booking online, I still don't understand why not. After a rather irritating 5 minutes at reception we just agreed and got key. Room was very nice, as expected comfortable room temperature. We didnt have breakfast as we didn't get round to booking the evening before. Parking was fairly tight but ca. Use resturant behind parking just not as secure.

Great hotel for a stop on our trip down to souther France. Rooms were clean and bathrooms were spacious and had a shower head attached at ‘dutch’ height. The small swimming pool is great for cooling down, but don’t expect a large pool where you can relax for a day.

This is a reasonable hotel for an overnight stay if travelling up or down France. On the positive, the rooms are very clean and quiet with comfortable beds and good internet connection. It lost a Star as the shower water quickly went cold and there's no restaurant. The Boucherie next door is NOT recommended! So we'd come here again but find somewhere better and more friendly than the Boucherie for supper. Which is a bit of a pain!

Please avoid this insalubre hotel. While riding my motorbike I spent one night in this health hazard dump hotel where I got bedbugs bites. The room looked unhealthy and has proven unhealthy given that I got severe bedbugs bites. This hotel should be closed as being a health hazard to guests.

Spent a night here. Great hotel for a stopover. Whilst the rooms are small, the bathrooms are clean and a good size. The bedrooms have everything necessary for a comfortable night- tv, air con, hairdryers, tea and coffee facilities. the location is very central and near the main square which has lots of cafes and bars. We had breakfast here which was also a typical continental breakfast with lots of choice. We were able to park under the main hotel in a secure car park. Note this car park is only small but there is plenty of on street parking near by. Would stay here again if passing through
Georgina B — Google review
I can't say anything good about this experience. Having been to many 3 star hotels before, this one was the worst. Claustrophobic, tiny rooms and corridors where you can barely walk around, only one elevator (falling apart) for 8 floors and not always so friendly staff. Impossible to book a parking in advance or ask to reserve it for you when staying for a few days. Depressing, sad hotel with simply a bad standard. The only advantage was the location which was convenient to get to anywhere in the city. Many better options within this price range around. The breakfast was okay though.
Kath C — Google review
The moment we arrived it went downhill. Firstly they got our booking wrong. We then went on to find out the booking had been messd up, this would have been fixable had it not been down to a particularly rude and insensitive staff member. Furthermore the hotel recommended us a eatery that was not only inedible food but were clearly undergoing some harassment issues of they're own. Unfortunately will not be returning and will highly recommend other alternatives to the Hotel (Krap). Only thing I felt rescued this hotel was the lovely breakfast buffet prepared from 6-10 every morning. This pushing from one up to two stars.

A nice small cosy hotel in the city center just a minute walk away from the main attraction. The staff was polite and helped us with information upon our early arrival. The hotel is good budget hotel but a small one. You could chose it if you get in under 50-55 €.

Kyriad Clermont-Ferrand-Sud - La Pardieu is a no-frills hotel with an exercise room, terrace, bar, and indoor pool. It's conveniently located just a 15-minute drive from the center of Clermont-Ferrand and offers free Wi-Fi access. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, safety deposit boxes, tea/coffee making facilities, and flat-screen TVs. The hotel is situated near various restaurants and amenities like LIDL.
Cool little hotel perfectly located near the off/on ramp to the main freeway (A75) as to not waste time while traveling. At a 5 minute drive from the Kyriad hotel is E.Leclerc supermarket or should I say shopping mall where you can buy EVERYTHING. The hotel offers a small swimming pool, which is super relaxing after a long day of driving. There's also a gym, but we all know that's just there to collect dust. If you're just passing through, Kyriad is the perfect place to rest your head for an affordable price. PS All their rooms have laminate flooring, so it's a lot cleaner than carpeted hotels in my opinion.
Vince — Google review
The hotel is located in the outskirts of the city but it is easily accessible by public transport. It has enough parking space which is also a plus. The rooms are quite spacious and comfortable but the maintenance and daily cleaning could be definitely improved. For example, tea and coffee are not refilled. Sometimes the cleaning wasn't done at all. The staff is not really welcoming and helpful. Once I went to the swimming pool and it turned out that it was not available because of the problem with chemicals. But it was open and there was no indication or announcement whatsoever. So I swam in the potentially dangerous water until the receptionist came to tell me about it. When I asked how could I know it was closed, she just said "I will lock the door after you". The gym is really a joke. A super small room with just a couple machines and no space even to put a yoga mat.

You guys... The dirt. I can't even begin to explain. I was supposed to stay there for two and a half months while in Clermont-Ferrand for work. Thankfully I was able to get out sooner. The horrible state of the room was only topped by the staff's unwillingness to do anything about it. Sure, they were polite, but quite useless. The walls were decrepit, there was a thick layer of dust on every surface, the water was rusty, and the thing on the bed could hardly be called a matress. By far my worst hotel experience.

Not great, but works fine. Charged 125€ for extending to two more days. I stayed here for two weeks in a single bedroom studio apartment. There was all the necessary items including a microwave, stove, a kettle, coffee maker, a tv etc. Wifi was horrible, then I told the receptionist and she gave me a modem and it worked fine. Can get taxi arranged if you want. Also includes an air heater. Okay view from the window. Breakfast available for 8.5€. Got a fridge as well.

Very bad experience!! I tried to check-in on 12h but they didn't allow me. They said I had to wait until 3pm! I asked if they can prepare it at 1pm so that I can wait but they said no and they didn't offer any alternative. This means that I would have waited in the streets for 3 hours after I had just finished a long travel by bus. I ended up leaving and booking a room in another hotel and had to pay for a booking in Appart'hotel without actually staying in! Terrible service.

Appart'City is not simple rooms but a real flat with everything you might need. Kitchen of middle size and bathroom with tube and a huge double bed for us. Everything was clean. We appreciated the tiny dishwasher in the kitchen. We had a very good experience of the villa volcano. The room was very comfortable and clean and was well equipped. Julien went out of his way to make us comfortable and he booked a table for us at a local restaurant, which was also very good. We were able to store our bikes in his garage until we travelled on.

We didn't want to leave this delightful B&B. Julien is the perfect host & the views from our room were stunning! We left the curtains open at night so we could lie in bed & admire the scenery. As soon as we arrived, we were smilingly greeted by Julien, who assisted us with our luggage. We had the 'Baroque room' & were able to accommodate our 4 big suitcases. The bathroom is spacious & has a lovely walk-in shower recess with a large raindrop shower head & a 2nd movable shower rose. We found the queen-size bed slightly overly firm but comfortable - we both slept well for the 2 nights we were there. Julien happily advised us about restaurants & interesting places to visit. The continental breakfasts were delicious! Julien bakes the pastries & they were sublime. The local roads are very curvy & can be narrow, so I'd advise caution when driving if you're not used to the region. We managed to get lost a few times, although we were using Google!

What a pleasant surprise! The location, of course, with this vast parnorama overlooking the whole of Clermont-Ferrand and the surrounding hills. The house itself, with its terrace and large balcony. The comfortable rooms, of course, impeccable and well-furnished. The quiet area, where you can hear birds near and far. But most of all, Julien as a host is wonderful: attentive to your needs, ready to dispense valuable advice when asked, reliable as a host. Without the shadow of a doubt, hightly recommended!

Superb accommodation. Julian was very friendly and helpful giving good advice for places to visit. Excellent French breakfast and service. Beautiful view over the city from the terrace at breakfast. Our room (Industry) with it own terrace, was clean and well maintained, and ideal for the 4 nights we stayed.
Mark — Google review
A classy place with a very nice host. The bed is super comfortable and the view is great. It's located 10 min from all the most known touristic places while still being super quiet.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Clermont-Ferrand, Artyster Clermont-Ferrand is a budget-friendly hotel that perfectly balances comfort and style. Just a short stroll from iconic landmarks like Place de Jaude and Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption, this hotel offers cozy rooms adorned with artistic touches such as exposed bulbs and striking black-and-white photography. Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi throughout their stay, along with access to a fitness center and an engaging arcade/game room.
Friendly staff, value for money, great central location near shops and restaurants, practical for families and young couples and short stays. Beds were comfy, climitisation easy to use and shower worked well. Like the bar area with good music. Breakfast was good value for money.
Ana4Star — Google review
On the website, there is under the title "Getting here / Getting around / Good to know" a remark, that the hotel does have a bike garage (Garage à vélos). Well, when we called nobody knew about a safe space for our Mountain Bikes. Please change your website, since we were hoping that you have a space as promoted on the website.

Funky interior design. Perfectly good rooms, comfortable bed, good shower. Bedroom view was a wall & a roof! Location was pretty central whilst still quiet. When booking we were told there was somewhere to store our bikes. This wasn't accurate, and the staff knew nothing about our request. They eventually agreed to store our bikes in their "gym", as that was out of action anyway. Note it's also not an accessible hotel - to get to the tiny lift (would not fit a wheelchair or pushchair) you had to go up several stairs. Not a problem for us, but might be for others.
Liz T — Google review
The perfect stay. Smooth check-in and super friendly staff, clean rooms in a modern setting, situated on the border of the city center just a minute away from sightseeing. Delicious breakfast to top of. We'll be back!
Yannovich T — Google review
It was a very clean and welcoming hotel, in a very walkable neighborhood, surrounded by historic buildings and some good restaurants.

Good hotel for the price but WiFi wasn't working for any of our group 😐

Great hotel, very nice style, wonderful hospitality!

The hotel room and bathroom were on the small side but the place was very clean and centrally located. The young receptionists were very nice and helpful, which helped to have a good stay.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Clermont-Ferrand, "5 Chambres en Ville" is a chic bed and breakfast that perfectly blends comfort with modern amenities. Each room boasts contemporary decor, flat-screen TVs, and quality bedding to ensure a restful stay. Guests can indulge in a delightful buffet breakfast featuring hot drinks and pastries each morning.
I had a really friendly and easy experience while staying here. Easy because the service was really personalized - everything from finding out where to park my car to payment was done on my schedule and without the least bit of hassle. The owners were friendly and generous people assisting me with a printing request and even willing to show me their other property closer to the cathedral. The room was recently redone with very fine taste - the bed was THE BEST. I had a cute little window that overlooked a park and felt at times like I was in Amelie set in Clermont Ferrand. I loved staying in the center of the town. I highly recommended 5 chambres en ville in its own right, and do declare it to be a million times better than an Airbnb or a hotel. Yes, one million times!
Coralie H — Google review
A great place to stay, a few streets away from the cathedral. Very clean and comfortable with lovely hosts who were very helpful

(Translated by Google) The accommodation is a small house in the center of Clermon-Ferran (5mins walk to the cathedral). Lucye took great care of us. He helps us with what we need. Correct cleaning and air conditioning. Breakfast was good (we had it included). There is no stove available to cook something quickly. (neither in the room nor in the common area that did have a microwave) Parking is 1 minute from the house and is contracted separately. The process is quick but it is better to unload and then park the car. There is no elevator but we had no problems on the first floor. It is missing some maintenance details, which are unimportant and easy to fix. - the shower screen is short and the bathroom floor gets wet - the shower hose needs adjustment. Advisable. Recomendable.

(Translated by Google) It's very old... Lots of dust under the bed, broken shower holder, damaged remote control, old and small TV, but the location is great, just a stone's throw from the cathedral. (Original) Ça a beaucoup vieilli... Plein de poussière sous le lit, support douche cassé, télécommande abîmée, TV ancienne et petite, mais l'emplacement est top à 2 pas de la cathédrale.

Many recommendations were made to us and we were able to have access to secure storage for our bikes. I highly recommend this very good Clermontoise address, whether for a tourist or business stay. Out standing..... Great location, perfect for visiting the Christmas fair. Location is right in the heart of the old town with plenty is History, Shopping and Cafes galore. Could easily spend a long weekend and still have more to visit. A hidden gem. Room is of top quality, breakfast ample and Wifi that works. A very quiet and restfully stay.

Amazing room, great location. Almost like being home, instead of a hotel room. Spacious, car parking 3-4 minutes walking distance and charges approx €15 daily rate. Host is friendly and helpful. If you driving through or staying a few nights the location will allow you to visit the city centre by walking.

(Translated by Google) 4 stars NO, never in life, seriously 3 seems more honest and above all fairer. Positive: The location is right in the center, everything is close, parking is nearby and relatively cheap. The room is spacious, tastefully furnished, functional and very cozy. Negative: The noise from the street at night, or rather the shouts and screams. The breakfast is a blemish compared to the rest, a little meager and severely lacking in quantity of coffee.

(Translated by Google) Magnificent accommodation. Spacious, beautifully decorated. Clean and attentive, with coffee and tea facilities. Exceptional location for exploring on foot. The best part is the cup of coffee on the balcony. We'll definitely come back. (Original) Magnifique logement. Spacieux, belle décoration . Propre et attentionné, café/thé. Emplacement exceptionnel pour visiter à pied. Le plus, c’est la tasse de café sur le balcon. À revenir sans hésitation.

(Translated by Google) Large and clean room. Excellent central location. Terrible welcome, rudeness from the managers, the owner doesn't say hello and has a truly threatening attitude. The entrance completely covered in weeds, steep stone spiral stairs with very low railings. The presence of this scale is not reported. (Original) Camera ampia e pulita. Ottima posizione centrale. Pessima accoglienza, maleducazione dei gestori, il proprietario non saluta e ha un atteggiamento veramente minaccioso. (Translated by Google) Charming ! The room is very comfortable (large, well appointed). We immediately feel very good! The manager takes great care (explanation on arrival, coffee, tea, juice in the fridge) Big plus with breakfast, delivered in a basket in the morning. Everything is done to have a quiet moment Surely the best choice for a night in Clermont Ferrand (Original) Charmant !

(Translated by Google) We passed here as a stopping point during our trip to the Verdon gorges. Quiet place with charm. Breakfast served at the door in the morning, the bedding is great, small downside for the pillow which was soooo hard for me, I took the small decorative cushion to finish my night, and second downside for the population who cross the road street in the middle of the night screaming. Apart from these two points, the rest is great, contact with the owner is also great, really pleasant.
