The La Concha Renaissance San Juan Resort is a beachfront retro-style resort with 7 restaurants, 2 outdoor pools, and a 24/7 casino. It offers a unique brunch experience and hosts the Fiestas de la Calle de San Sebastian in January. The hotel's Tropical Modernism architecture, designed by Osvaldo Toro and Miguel Ferrer, reflects nature's influence on modern spaces in a tropical setting.
My husband and I sent the latter part of our honeymoon at La Concha and had an incredible experience. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive (there wasn’t a single employee who wasn’t incredible). We never ran out of things to do while we were there and fully enjoyed the beach, the restaurants and the casino. They have gorgeous pools as well! Our room was awesome and we had a great view of the beach and ocean. We WILL be back. We had such a great time.

I do want to call out one person specifically who impressed me the most but first, the yroom was beautiful and the service from everyone was some of the best I’ve ever had. The one person who stuck out to me the most was Suly Pagan. She works in the towel service area at the pool. I can boldly say that she stands out as the most attentive, kind, and friendly employee at a hotel that I can remember. She made my group and I feel like VIP each day that I was at the pool. I believe that Suly truly cares and it shows. I hope that she gets recognized for her hard work. The whole experience at La Concha was amazing and I highly recommend. I miss Puerto Rico already.

We stayed in a room with the princess balcony overlooking the ocean. It was breathtaking and we got to hear the coquis at night for the ultimate island experience. Everyone in the hotel from the front desk, pool people and environmental services where outstanding and welcoming. Everywhere we went in the hotel, people greeted us. I was extremely impressed by the detail to attention. We will return! The Puerto Rican people are beautiful and welcoming as well. 🇵🇷♥️

The service was great, and the rooms were modern and clean. The staff was super friendly too. The lobby had a cool bar for drinks and Aroma, a coffee/breakfast spot. Plus, the casino and betting center were pretty awesome. The pool and outdoor restaurant are really good.

The entire stay was nothing short of phenomenal! The hotel was elegant, classy, and CLEAN! Being my 3rd time at this hotel, it has only gotten better! However, Ms Ruby from the poolside restaurant, was the absolute best. If you get a chance to have an encounter with her, you are guaranteed to get the best service you’ve ever experienced. She is sweet, efficient, positive, and KIND. We started as customers… left as family. We love Ms Ruby! She needs a raise !!

Amazing staff! Felix at the front desk had such an inviting spirit. That’s exactly what our group needed. Zion was an energetic aerobic instructor, he got us ready for each day. Zuleka and Amber were attentive pool personnel! Everyone of the employees were professional. And the location is great. The resort fees and credit card hold, was a bit extreme, but the service made up for it
Sherri W — Google review
My fiancee and I had such an incredible time at La Concha. The resort itself is beautiful with a welcoming lobby with a bar. The vibe was very relaxed and upscale. The staff were all friendly and helpful around the resort. From our first interaction at the front desk, Verushka (a fellow New Yorker) was so pleasant to talk with and gave us a great overview of the resort's amenities. On the first day, we check out the Solera bar and Ralph made us an amazing Sunrise drink. The food was prepared well too. What a way to get my birthday started! Overall, the resort was very clean and the rooms are modern, with elegant decor. 👌🏾 I would definitely recommend this resort for a relaxing visit to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

An incredible experience. The service was excellent. The rooms were very clean and all the amenities were spacious. From the moment you arrive, it smells delicious. The jewel in the crown is the infinity pool for adults, right next to the beach. A highlight of this resort.

Hotel
The Condado Vanderbilt Hotel is an elegant oceanfront property that has a rich history dating back to its commission by railroad tycoon Frederick William Vanderbilt in 1917. Designed by the renowned Warren & Wetmore architecture firm, the hotel boasts classic Spanish Revival style and has been a favorite among Hollywood stars and European royalty since its opening in 1919.
Our stay at this stunning hotel in Puerto Rico was absolute perfection from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and genuine smiles that instantly made me feel at home. The property is breathtaking—every corner feels like a curated blend of elegance, comfort, and island charm. The room was immaculately clean, and designed with impeccable attention to detail. My suite featured a spectacular view that made every sunrise and sunset feel like a private show just for me. The dining experience was unforgettable—every meal was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented at their restaurant. Whether we were enjoying breakfast by the pool or sipping cocktails in the evening, the atmosphere was always relaxed yet sophisticated. The staff truly elevated the experience. They went above and beyond to ensure every need was met, offering personalized touches that made us feel valued and cared for. they made our trip seamless and memorable. This hotel isn’t just a place to stay—it’s an experience. If you’re looking for a mix of luxury, comfort, and the magic of Puerto Rico, this is the place you’ll never want to leave. We strongly recommend it. Thank you so much to everyone who made our stay so wonderful.

Great hotel and service! From the moment you step in and are greeted by the staff, the service is impressive. They offered champagne upon arrival, check-in went smoothly, room was extremely clean and butler service was fantastic. A few extra bonuses were the doggie welcome box for our puppy with treats, bowls and a toy! She was treated like a little princess. We also were there celebrating my daughter's birthday and they had balloons and a cake in the room for her...very sweet and thoughtful. I wish I could have spent more time at the hotel. Highly recommend if you are looking for great service, clean hotel and in a walkable area with lots around.

Spent many days here (9!) on a business trip and the staff was lovely. From the pool (Manuel!) to the valet (all great!) - it was an awesome experience. Rooms are a bit small but the view was incredible. Pablo at Tacos and Tequila was great and so was everyone else there. Wish I remembered more names. The gym is amazing - so much Technogym equipment. Spa was also nice. I did a mani pedi which was a good experience. My one complaint is that there are no full length mirrors in the room! I had to stand on the bathtub to see my outfits. Ola was great for breakfast. Need a larger menu for the pool area with more GF options in my opinion though. Great spot and I can’t wait to be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s warmth and friendliness made us feel welcome and cared for. The hotel was impeccably clean, and every space was beautifully maintained. We were also impressed by the excellent services offered — from the great dining experiences to the relaxing pool and spa areas. Our time there exceeded our expectations, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

From the moment we arrived at the historic and grand Condado Vanderbilt, we knew we were in for a special experience. This hotel perfectly blends Gilded Age elegance with modern Caribbean luxury, making it the ultimate backdrop for a romantic getaway with my loved one. The staff here operates at a truly world-class, 5-star level. Our days spent relaxing by the infinity pool were a highlight, primarily thanks to Manuel. He was genuinely amazing attentive, friendly, and always one step ahead, making sure our chairs were perfectly set up without us ever having to ask. He truly elevated the entire pool experience, and is a major asset to the hotel.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at the Condado Vanderbilt Hotel is beautiful, clean, and the staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. We ate at 1919 and Tacos and Tequila. Food was delicious. Shout out to Gian at the Concierge Desk for patience and help. Also a shoutout to Anna and Manuel who remembered us by name and made our pool experience easy and restful. We can't wait to return one day!

Absolutely gorgeous hotel ! Good gym and restaurants selection. Large bedrooms and bathrooms full marble! Food and drinks are on the expensive side as expected. The pool/ beach area is breathtaking. The staff is also super helpful and friendly. Bicycles available to rent for free ! Only downside is the lack of free parking(30$ valet per day only)

I recently returned to stay at The Condado Vanderbilt while on business in San Juan, and enjoyed a really beautiful experience. As a designer that works in the hospitality industry, I have such admiration and appreciation for every detail this magnificent property has to offer, all so well maintained. Clearly, The Vanderbilt is the best property in all of Puerto Rico. The staff, expertly trained and efficient are always so helpful, the elegance exudes in every corner, the rooms from standard to suites (I’ve stayed in them all) are perfectly appointed, comfortable, spotless and pure luxury. I especially enjoyed the lounge area where I could wrap up my workday with a cocktail and a view. Early morning swims pre work and a cup of coffee from the lobby were the perfect start for very full workdays. If your standards are high, and luxury as well as comfort are your priorities when traveling look no further, this hotel is unsurpassed in San Juan.Thank you to all the staff that made my stay perfect, I’ll be back!

Nestled in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Caribe Hilton offers a luxurious escape with its stunning suites boasting balcony views. The resort provides beach equipment for hire and kayaking lessons for older kids, while a gaming arcade keeps the younger ones entertained. With nine restaurants and bars on-site, free Wi-Fi, and smart TVs in every room, there's no shortage of entertainment options. Surrounded by 17 acres of lush greenery, this exotic destination is perfect for both relaxation and exploration.
I recently stayed at the Caribe Hilton in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and it was an absolute dream! From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel screamed luxury and relaxation. The location is unbeatable – nestled right on a private beach with stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and easy access to Old San Juan’s historic charm. The grounds are lush and tropical, with swaying palms, a beautiful lagoon, and plenty of spots to unwind. It’s the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience, making it ideal for both romantic getaways and family vacations. But what truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and pampered. Everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping team was friendly, efficient, and genuinely attentive. Special shoutout to Hiram Avila at the pool bar – he was an absolute superstar! Hiram’s energy and expertise made every visit to the bar a highlight. He crafted the most delicious cocktails with flair, recommended local favorites that hit the spot, and always had a smile and great conversation ready. His service was impeccable, turning ordinary poolside lounging into unforgettable moments. If you’re staying here, seek him out – he’s the best! The amenities are top-notch too, with multiple pools, a spa, and dining options that cater to every taste. We left feeling refreshed and already planning our return. Caribe Hilton, you’ve set the bar high! Highly recommend for anyone seeking a slice of paradise.

First the staff today was professional and nice. I felt they tried to address my concerns. This hotel I would not give a 4 star rating at all. I travel 5-6 times per yr and the hotel room are more like a 1.5 . These rooms are not cheap and honestly if the rooms looked like the lobby area then the price could be justified. I wanted to love everything about this hotel as I traveled with my favorite girl, my mother for her 70 birthday. We are extremely disappointed. The carpet is extremely dirty, walls clearly need a paint job, the bathroom is nasty. 16th floor, room smelled like mold. Ice machine has mold. On top of that a guy yelling in the elevator about how dirty the rooms were and had roaches. I honestly thought the guy was lying but really warning us even before we got to our rooms. Read the reviews before you make your decision!!!
Malkia B — Google review
Love the hotel location. However! The rooms are NOT up to par AT ALL! If only they would invest in updating this hotel! My tub was clogged up and they sent a young guy upstairs to fix it. He basically looked at it, ran water and left! I do not think he knew what he was doing. Some of my bedding had spots such as juice stains. I also had to disinfect my entire room. Housekeeping need to do a better job at cleaning or the need to hire more people. The front desk staff were extremely nice and helpful. Location 10/10!! Hotel 2/10!! Management seriously need to look into upgrading this property or just sell it because you can tell they don't take good care of it.

Nice hotel, great staff, everything near hotel. Only complaint about ocean view room. Room was old and outdated, definitely needs upgrade. If people pay extra for ocean room then that room should be better vs regular down / which I saw . Old carpets , shower curtains should be in a 2 star hotels
Victoria G — Google review
I read the mixed reviews but figured I would give it a chance still. Came back to report that I was not impressed. I had no issue with the staff, but many things here are not as it seems. 1) the rooms are out dated, rusty furniture on patio, old carpet sometimes musty smelling. ocean view is obstructed by old building 2) the pool area is nice but has older chairs that go quickly. Day 1 hot tub worked, day 2 it was ice cold and stopped. Disappointing overall 3) the free breakfast for diamond members is only cold items/ cold bar. So juices, pastries, and random cheese and meat slices. They did not keep up with the buffet and were out of self serve juice, and yogurt. Very disappointing after we waited 20+ mins to sit and self serve very little items. Overall would not stay again.

Stayed here a few days before a cruise. The outside of the buildings were a little run down looking. The rooms were very nice I love walk in showers. Plenty of places to walk around on property. Lots of different lizards around. The breakfast bar was good. There are plenty of places to shop. Get ice cream or sitting paper watch. There is a beach. There is a swim up bar. You can order food at the swim bar. There is a hot tub the front desk was very helpful great views from your balcony . Some restaurants you can walk to.
Elizabeth S — Google review
This was a great hotel location to everything locally. You can walk to many restaurants. And a cab was easy to navigate. The hotel is located on the beach and they had many pools. They had a Starbucks and other goody places on site. Also nice restaurants. Prices were pretty average. Old San Juan was nine minutes away driving. The airport was around 15 minutes away with traffic. The people were very kind.

A classic hotel that still rocks. Great pool and beach with a friendly staff. The on property restaurants are very good too. Our room is large with an ocean view balcony. We will be back again next time on Puerto Rico.

The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel San Juan is an upscale lodging option offering a range of amenities and dining choices. Located in the vibrant Condado district, it provides spacious accommodations within walking distance of various restaurants and a 24-hour supermarket. While it's a short drive to the beach, the hotel compensates with its facilities. Nearby attractions such as the Puerto Rico Museum of Arts and Old San Juan are easily accessible, making it convenient for guests to explore the area.
Great stay here, and the staff truly went above and beyond for us! We left some important documents in our room after checking out, and Courtney was able to work with a taxi and get them to us at the airport so that we could still make our flight! The location was great, about a 10-minute drive from Old San Juan. The valet and front desk staff were very kind and friendly. And the restaurant had good food and prompt service on the last night of our stay.

We stayed here for a weekend (as the hotel was previously recommended by family members that had stayed here) and had the best time. The staff are extremely kind, friendly, helpful, and attentive. The hotel was clean, the food was great, and they make some amazing drinks as well. We were super comfortable during our entire stay, and loved the flexibility to move around easily based on the great location. We were able to walk to nearby restaurants, Supermax, and uber to any other locations easily. We also enjoyed the cart service to/from the beach where they provide everything you need to enjoy a relaxing beach day. Overall, we had an amazing experience and can’t wait to come back!! A huge thank you to everyone that works here and made our stay so enjoyable/memorable :)

Our stay was from August 17 - 21, 2025 the hotel was clean and quiet and the location was great. However, I have an issue with the credit card deduction. The trip was paid in full about 2 weeks before we arrived. $400 was taken from the credit card upon arrival. At the time of check out the receipt showed zero balance. About 3 days after checking out $200 was refunded. We have called, sent emails and cannot get a statement or an explanation about the remaining $200. We are disappointed.

(Not a 4 star hotel) The hotel is no doubt beautiful on the the outside, but the location is in the "hood". The pools are dirty and not up kept. I understand there are trees surrounding the pools but not one time someone attempt to clean it. There was trash beside bushes floating around in the pool and the sun bed shades as well as bed and benches were also dirty. Every thing is small, exp.... the room ,the adult/baby pool and the gym. The only area that remain cool was is the bar, the rest of the lobby was uncomfortably. The breakfast wasn't tasteful nor the lunch/ dinner. After that experience we ate at other locations that was not only amazingly good it was pocket friendly. This is not a place to bring your kids or family. Lucky for us there was a supermarket directly across the street. The only thing nice about that hotel was the guy at check out and in Jean, then there was William and Christian who both help us with things to do and places to go. We had to call for towels and the trash to be removed. The trash bags are very small and I try my best to keep the room clean. The hotel manager Bryan was rude and very standoff wasn't accommodating at all. I was charged for hotel fees online which was 200 and Ryan charged me again. He asked for proof and I showed him the email receipt then he had me show him my bank statement but still charged me an additional 200. His attitude was nasty and stated if we don't pay we have to leave and if we leave we will have to pay a one day room penalty. I will never ever go there again.
Trice M — Google review
Truful one of the best experiences I had in a hotel. The room smell clean. They have everything need for a business person of family vacation. They have a pool that goes 5 feet deep. They so have a ping pong table aside the pool. The pool is 24/7 which is amazing. The staff are great. They will provide a shuttle golf cart to the beach and theres also a person there to set up the beach chairs and umberalls too. I will return again in the near future.
Eva B — Google review
Location is far from where you want to be so not ideal if you plan on walking, the rooms were not cleaned properly, there were large crums & dirt in the corners of the room and hairs in the shower. The front desk ladies are so rude, I was trying to ask the gentleman a question about a drink voucher they gave me for a business stay as the bartender didn't take it when I bought a drink so I was curious if it would just be taken off my room and the heavier set lady rudely interrupted and kept yelling no repeatedly, not even knowing what I was asking and out of context - just super rude and that alone would be a reason for not returning. The gentleman helping was nice however and felt bad for him. The restaurant folks are nice, but there are better places in eat in the area is all. Have stayed here prior times and its been fine, but wont be back unfortunately.
Kelly — Google review
We stayed here with our Bad Bunny signature experience and did not have a great time. When we checked into the hotel, we did not receive our "welcome cookie". However, they did give us a "limber", which was nice. Since we were unable to pick out our specific room type (besides the beds), we were a little disappointed with the overall size of our room. It felt like a European hotel (smaller). We stayed at the Caribe prior to this and felt those rooms were a lot more worth it. While the bathroom was clean and well stocked, we were not the biggest fans of the semi-see through tile that was in the shower that looks into the bedroom. The pool was an okay size, but while we were there Friday, it looked like they were setting up photo props for the Bad Bunny show. We planned on going outside to take photos before heading to the show, but there was a sign that said "Private Event". We thought that maybe this was only for people who booked the hotel through the Vibee package, which we did. However we never received any notice about a possible Bad Bunny themed event that we hoped was for guests staying who bought the tickets in partnership with the hotel. There was a photo op set up in the lobby for anyone to take photos with, but we wish we had acces to the event outside or were notified if that was infact for those who had the signature experience. We were a bit disappointed with the lack of attention surrounding the concert since that was why we were there. Overall, this hotel unfortunetly did not meet our expectations for our trip.

Highly recommend this HOTEL. Loved this resort. The staff was super helpful, friendly, and supportive. Sadly I don’t remember everyone just a few #Jeannette #Alfredo #Jeimary and #Marilee. God damn, they were amazing I will remember you all forever. You made my vacation super memorable it was my first time in Puerto Rico, and you guys gave me the best of you. Thank you. The resort is just what you need for a good vacation no complaints at all. If one day I go back to PR which I will, I’ll be staying here again:

Our stay at the Marriott San Juan and Stellaris Casino was absolutely wonderful! From check-in to our 4:45 am departure, every single team member we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and helpful—the best hotel staff we’ve ever experienced. A special shoutout to Francisco—he made poolside bingo so much fun, shared great local dining recommendations, and went above and beyond to make us feel like friends, not just guests. He truly made our stay unforgettable. Julio also deserves a huge thanks for keeping the drinks flowing at the beach and pool—always with a big smile! The rooms and public areas were spotless, and the beach service with chairs, umbrellas, and towels was seamless. We loved relaxing in the beachside hammocks—pure bliss! The spa massages were another highlight and added a perfect touch of relaxation to our trip. We can’t recommend this hotel enough—for its amazing staff, cleanliness, location, and top-notch service. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

RIPOFF - the only thing that you would get here are the BED BUGS So we stayed at the hotel for a week, as soon as we walked in - we were charged over $800 for resort fee (not mentioned before). For that resort fee you basically pay to get bed bugs!!! Since nothing was included in that “resort fee” everything we asked for- we had to pay. When we asked what was resort fee for - towels, beach umbrellas and chairs!?!? What did we pay for when we were booking the room then!? Should I bring my own bed next time since nothing is included? Ha Ha They charge for every single thing. Good morning- $80, cabana at the pool - $250… At part of the poolside there was a sign that you need to reserve cabanas, so we went to the other side where there wasn’t sign, as soon as we set down, they jumped on us to ask us for payment. When I asked them what was the resort fee for- they didn’t know what to tell us - obviously was for nothing - or bed bugs, as in the end that was the only thing I got. I was walking up with bites and marks all over my body. I do have a photos to prove it. Definitely not worth the price we paid for - there is so many other resorts half the price that includes more than you get here for sure - since here you do not get anything.

We arrived and all was positive. From the fragrance to Jay assisting at check in. Then the lovely items for our anniversary in our room rose petals to chocolate covered strawberries just amazing. While all of that was great of course the bald guy at the bar was unlike all the rest— not kind at all but Brian saved the day saved (the bar). I love PR. While it’s not the St.Regis I expect quality and kindness at all places we stay. Thank you for a great arrival 😊👍👍👍

This is our 2nd time staying here and we will definitely be back. The service was amazing at the front desk, the Marriott Bonvoy desk, room attendants, servers at the breakfast and the attendants that help with the chairs and umbrellas at the beach. We were upgraded to a larger corner room due to my Marriott Bonvoy status and the room was great. The corner room had 2 balconies one that looked over the beach and the other that looked over the pool and beach. There were robes in the closet, a safe, plenty of space to store your clothes and a mini fridge. There was shampoo, conditioner and body wash mounted on the wall in the shower. They also had lotion, mouth wash and other toiletries on the counter in the bathroom that were refilled daily. There is a bar in the lobby where you can hang out and purchase drinks and also a small coffee shop with food you can purchase. There is a restaurant on the ground level near the pool area that has a breakfast buffet that was amazing. The buffet is a pay option not free (unless you are a certain level Bonvoy member then you receive a pass for you and a guest for each day of your stay). The buffet had many hot options, an omelet station, cereals, yogurts, fruits, pastries and bottomless mimosas. They have gluten free options. When you are ready to leave they will give you mimosas and coffee to go and you can take pastries with you as well. There is a Bonvoy desk for certain Bonvoy levels that offers free waters, free wine and free bags of chips. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance from this hotel and a Walgreens on the corner. They have plenty of chairs and umbrellas on the beach and around the pool and they provide towels as well.

I recently stayed at the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino for the Bad Bunny residency, and it was an absolutely amazing experience! The resort is incredibly luxurious and beautifully maintained, with access to one of the most stunning beaches I’ve ever seen! Our room service meals were deliciouss!!! and while the hotel is a bit pricey, it is worth every penny for the experience. I also want to give a special shoutout to Francisco, who works around the pool/beach area. He was extremely kind and helpful, making me and my partner feel so welcome. Honestly, he deserves a raise ASAP! The hotel is surrounded by restaurants, dispensaries, and shops, so there’s no shortage of things to do. There are endless options for entertainment. This is the perfect destination for a girls trip or a romantic getaway with your partner! 10/10 I will definitely be back 😝

Our stay at the Fairmont El San Juan was made even more special thanks to the incredible staff. Jimmy was incredibly kind and welcoming. He helped with our bags and went above and beyond by giving us amazing suggestions for activities and spots to check out nearby. He really set the tone for a great stay. Jafriel at the valet was quick, friendly, and super easygoing. Everything was smooth and hassle-free whenever we needed the car, and he made sure we were always taken care of. Mike was excellent—room service was fast, everything came perfectly as ordered, and he was so professional and friendly. It made the whole experience that much better! Sheila was the absolute BEST! She took care of us at the beachside all day and always checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warm, attentive care truly stood out! Overall, the staff here went above and beyond and made our stay unforgettable.

Great pool bars. Martin at the Banyan Tree Grill was awesome. The best bartender by far on the island. No joke. So personable and attentive. And if you are a history nerd like I am, strike up a conversation with him about WWI or WWII. This guy knows his stuff. Speaks 5 languages fluently. Flawless service

Room needed work completed & cleaning better., dirty carpets upon arrive,, crumbs around entrance to carpeted area, bed, & lounging chair. Broken wooden door bases splintering off., light bulbs didn't work & were filthy dirty with dust. Dusty window shades when closing. You created a small dust storm, & no microwave in the room. Hallways always had trash in them & items a vacuum would've picked-uo of used. The beech & pool access & environment were great. Staff were friendly. Beach ordering service would have been nice. I saw it occur 1 time & had no idea where they cane from or how to contact them. Even just a drink person taking orders on the beach. Beach attendant might cary your towels & set up your umbrella & chairs or maybe not. 2 out of 5 times they assisted. All staff were polite, friendly & helpful when you engaged them. Price was ok for a 4 day Beach trip.

Fairmont is a special place. All employees are very courteous and customer oriented. Specifically Martin Rosario, pool side restaurant/bartender is amazing. He greets everyone, is so engaging and funny! He recommends food and drinks without looking at the menu. He remembers names and makes you feel like you want to come back. Excellent service! One of the best servers/bartenders I have experienced! Thank you!

The Sheraton Puerto Rico Resort & Casino is a contemporary and spacious urban hotel located in Distrito T-Mobile, offering a convenient stay for those attending events at the nearby convention center. The hotel features modern rooms and suites, an outdoor pool with views of San Juan Bay, and a casino for entertainment. While not directly on the beach, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle service to a nearby beach and boasts a large rooftop deck that creates a resort-like atmosphere.
What an amazing place and even better people! The Sheraton Puerto Rico is top notch. Every staff member I met was professional, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. A special shoutout to Valareia, the barista at the hotel café. A few mornings I had business calls right after ordering my cappuccino, and she always noticed and brought it over to me without me even asking. That kind of care and attention to detail is rare. She represents the Sheraton brand perfectly with her professionalism, warmth, and attentiveness. Honestly, Valareia should be trained and promoted into a management role. She’s a natural leader in customer service. And yes, they sprinkle cinnamon on top of the cappuccino, the Puerto Rican way, which makes it even better. Go to Puerto Rico, stay at the Sheraton, and don’t forget to order the empanadas and flan. They’re the best.

Negatives: the toilet was broke for 2 days before they decided to fix it. The first maintenance guy said let your stool sit for 15 minutes then flush. The toilets are having issues with the toilet paper. They gave me $55 of a resort fee for letting my stool sit for 15 minutes before flushing smh! Positives: The hotel is in an amazing area close to everything. The food at the hotel is amazing! The activities they plan at the hotel kept us entertained. The beds are super comfortable!!!

We arrived to this hotel overnight. The staff present upon our arrival was Yahir, he did not make us feel welcome. He did not greet us happily, he gave us our room key and did not provide us with any key information about our stay. He did not guide us with any relevant information we should know about the hotels amenities. We found out there was a shuttle service that would take us to Old San Juan through the transportation taxi we took to the hotel that night. The hotel had a very nice pool, but it was always packed. The hotel room was very nice, spacious. The cleaning staff did a great job at cleaning our room every day which was greatly appreciated. There is a small convenience coffee shop that serves breakfast and other foods. We grabbed a few grab and go wraps available they were delicious. The location of the hotel is convenient when traveling to old San Juan. Parking is available but it seemed expensive. I would love to return but I hope the staff at the front desk is a lot more friendly and welcoming

Our stay at the Sheraton was excellent from start to finish. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and stylish. The location is ideal, close to the airport and even closer to the Princess cruise port. The staff were outstanding. Keila in the main restaurant provided warm, professional service, and the gentleman at check-in made us feel immediately welcome. The welcome gift in our room was a thoughtful touch. Overall, a wonderful experience that exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend!

I had a great stay! The location was perfect, and the hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in took a little longer than expected, especially since it was 1 a.m., but overall everything went smoothly. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

Hotel is quite nice and modern, but there are a lot of hidden issues. Every night includes a mandatory tip for the maid. No way to leave more, less, or opt out. I don’t like that would prefer to leave it for them in the room so I know they get it. There is a mandatory resort fee of $30/ night. Why not just include that in the rate? The hotel is convenient to the airport and Viejo San Juan. That is really cool. You can watch the cruise ships dock and leave - also really cool! Not so cool was the techno overload on Friday and Saturday nights until 3am - if you’re looking for relaxation this is not the place. For fun and nightlife, then it is awesome. T Mobile Distrito is a block away with bars, live music, etc. Overall it was a good time, but I hate the hidden charges that surprise you at the end.

It’s a beautiful property with many restaurants onsite and close by at the distrito T-Mobile. Rooms are done well, beds comfortable, and service is amazing. You can tell they take pride in it. I had a great experience all around. The location is great, just 10-15min to downtown.

The hotel offers high-end accommodations with 4 restaurants and 4 bars, an outdoor pool, fitness center, and spa. Guests can enjoy beachside dining at the iconic El San Juan Beach Club, featuring luxurious cabanas and live DJ performances. The location provides easy access to three popular beaches: Hobie Beach, Balneario de Carolina, and Pine.
we stayed here for 4days booked it through amex. I got all the complimentries which I really love. early check in, late check out, room upgrade, complimentary parking, on board credit. waah! I’m very happy with the service. what I like the most too was the housekeeping. they changed our beddings everydayy. we get a fresh beddings and towels everyday which i like. staff are pleasant and very nice people. beach towels are steamed and very clean. we also enjoyed the heated pool at night. the view was gorgeous! I just have 1 complain with the complimentary parking system they have. for 2 days every time we heading out the parking we always have to explain everything before they let us out coz we’re not in the system. They did not put our car in the system first thing on our first day. but overall, we had a fantastic and wonderful day at this hotel. definitely one for the books.

The hotel is beautiful, and the pool area is great — clean, relaxing, and one of the highlights. It can be tough to find a pool chair though, since people often leave towels and disappear for hours. The staff was excellent — super friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy, but it gets busy around that time, so expect a little wait. My room was comfortable and had a fridge (no microwave). The ocean view rooms are perfect — amazing view, even though in October it seemed north-facing, so no sunrise or sunset, but still gorgeous all day. There’s direct access to the beach with chairs available, though those can fill up quickly too. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay here again.
CARL 2 — Google review
The staff is very nice and welcoming, always willing to help. The room was very clean comfortable, no noise from other guests. Big beautiful bathroom, wet room kind of feel. The pool is awesome and the hot tub is great after a long day of walking or hiking. The food is delicious and there are more than enough restaurants/bars and places to eat, in the hotel(s). Big beautiful breakfast buffet or a la carte menu! Coconut chia pudding was my favorite. The server was incredible, I cannot remember her name, but she had beautiful silver gray hair, slicked back. Open early enough for the morning people and late enough for sleepy heads. The gift shop has everything you want/need and then some. I should have bought that Herschel 😑 The only thing I can say is I think the difference between a 4.4 star rating and 5 would be more attention to detail. (The light bulbs in the hallway were a little crooked and all I wanted to do was straighten them out to ease my mind ha.) That attention to detail would set them apart from any other hotel near by!

Nice hotel. Very clean. The highlight of this place is definitely the beach. I loved that you could grab as many beach towels as needed and that they didn’t charge extra for lounge chairs and umbrellas. Food was okay. I think is expensive for what they offer but still a great property.

Excellent location, helpful staff, clean rooms, prompt service and overall cleanliness. 1. However, valet was extra $33 per day, and you had to avail it (opposite to the road self parking was $27/day). 2. I wish there was breakfast included since it’s a pain getting food early in the morning (closely available are mostly fast food chains). 3. We had to ask for bathrobe, sandal and dental kit (which I would’ve otherwise expected to be there in the room by default), the service was pretty prompt though. 4. Even though the property says no smoking, some people were still smoking right at the poolside and at the beach, and the staff did not mention anything (maybe they don’t want to displease customers). Overall, good stay, slightly expensive, but we enjoyed it.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Royal Sonesta in San Juan. Very convenient and so close to the airport 10 minute drive. What really makes the Sonesta special is the people that work there! everybody is generally kind and very helpful but a special shout out to NOMAR in the lobby for 5-stars service and just a really nice person! Very helpful and making anything you needed during your stay available. AIDILMARY and DANI at the breakfast buffet were another example of great employees and kind genuine people. Nester and Antonio the hotels concierge Super cool guys!!! that will not steer you wrong on things to do either there or around the island. Rooms were very clean. Beach was very nice. I absolutely will be coming back and staying here again. Good job Sonesta.

I liked it so much, I’ll continue to stay here. Location is perfect. The rooms are quiet, cold, and newer with the bathroom having glass doors. Pool area is clean, has good music, good outdoor shower and the beach is beautiful. The beach one of my favorites her in PR. Staff is so helpful and friendly.

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at the Royal Sonesta San Juan. The resort itself is beautiful — great beach access, nice rooms, and a relaxing atmosphere. However, I did have a disappointing experience with the swim-up bar supervisor, Jader, who was quite rude during my visit. Thankfully, KP and Johvan were amazing — very friendly, professional, and made the experience much better. One thing to note: when it rains, lunch options become very limited since some restaurants or poolside areas close, which can be inconvenient if you want to stay on property. Overall, I’d still recommend the resort and appreciate the great service from the rest of the team. I

Isla Verde beach, known for its surfing and relaxed atmosphere, is also close to the hotel.
We highly enjoyed our 3nt stay here! Location was super convenient. Employees were all very welcoming and helpful. The 2hr evening cocktail reception was a welcomed surprise. I found the room, lobby and pool to be very clean and up to my standards. The free (but please tip!) beach chairs and umbrella set-up at the beach were the icing on the cake!! The quality of the included breakfast buffet does leave room for improvement but served its purpose to get us fed so we could start out our day with full tummies. The casinos live music entertainment was very enjoyable and the waitstaff were on point bringing beverages around. I would happily stay here again and recommend this location to friends and family.

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. For a long time now I have preferred to book Hilton properties when traveling. I had always found that Hilton hotels had a high standard of service and quality regardless of the Brand or location. The Embassy Suites San Juan not only fails to meet those standards it genuinely calls into question my original opinion on Hilton hotels. Let's begin with the positives. The rooms are a good size and the hotel is very conveniently located. this concludes the positives. During our stay the cleaning staff left their cleaning cloths in our room (for several days), our shower soap bottle was removed and not replaced until we informed the from desk, we found holes in our bed sheets and when we informed the staff they simply left us a new set of sheets to change and replace ourselves, the chairs in the room were not only mismatched but covered in stains, and finally when I attempted to use the hotels laundry service my clothes were not collected and simply moved aside despite being in the bags clearly marked for laundry. In addition to all of these problems with our room specifically the hotel itself is very outdated. The decor is trapped in the early 2000s to the point where even the TVs don't have streaming services. The hotel breakfast is truly atrocious with burnt coffee, watery juices, and barely warmed food (with the exception of the omelet station which looked good). In general the staff were slow, unhelpful and unfriendly. The whole hotel seems more interested in funneling you into their casino area then anything else which also was the only section of the hotel that seemed adequately staffed. I'm thankful that we stayed at other hotels during our time in Puerto Rico otherwise I believe this awful hotel would have soured our entire trip. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay close to the airport I recommend sleeping in your terminal as you will likely have better service and accommodations then the Embassy Suites San Juan and at a cheaper cost as well.

For the price of about $200 a night for a long weekend, it was been a reasonable deal. Pool isn't too crowded. It's a 5 minute walk to the ocean, but you have service for towels, chairs, and umbrellas. My only complaint is that the room is mildewy. We noticed it as soon as we stepped on. I wonder if the bathroom fan wasn't working. By our last night the room was basically dripping. Staff has been lovely. Overall it's been a good value but I wouldn't come back.

Service was great. The pool is beautiful. Rooms were nice but we thought we were getting 2 queen size beds. They were only doubles. Parking deck on-site is convenient but the $25/day fee for guests is ridiculous and there is literally no other place nearby to park. There is a $349 resort fee but they charge you $500 "in case" you want to charge something to your room. Otherwise they reimburse you the $150 after your stay. In our case that $150 was eaten up by the parking charges.

Stayed here as part of the hotel package for the Bad Bunny concert, and the hotel completely scammed us. They lost the reservation, and then we were hit with hundreds of dollars of fees upon checkout. Maid gratuity each day (wish we knew ahead of time because we left cash in the room for the maid; we also requested to not have the room serviced while we were there), bellman gratuity (complete BS because we lugged around our baggage ourselves and they watched us struggle, no help), and guest room exempt (they still haven’t explained this one to us, but it was $70 each day). Huge lack of hospitality. I have no problem paying the taxes and fees that are applicable, but the extra fluff for services that we were not offered is complete extortion knowing that we came from the states and will have a hard time do go ting these. There are plenty of other places to stay for much cheaper and in a better location than this. Don’t waste your time or money.

Smoking Policy Fee Fraud – Unfair $500 Charge! We stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton from October 30 to November 3, and on our last day, we received a letter under our door stating that the smoke detector indicated we smoked in our room on November 2 at 6:30 PM. This is completely false. At that exact time, my friend was showering, and shortly after, I was using the in-room blow dryer. When the blow dryer didn’t turn on by the coffee maker outlet, I unplugged it and tried another outlet where it worked properly. That was the only activity taking place at that time — no smoking of any kind occurred. We immediately went to the lobby on November 3 around 10 AM to speak with the manager on duty, José, who informed us that he “could not do anything” because “it’s the policy.” We explained that we understood the hotel’s policy, but we had not violated it, and we even offered for him to inspect the room to confirm there was no smoke smell or evidence whatsoever. He refused to check and stated that the $500 smoking fee would still be charged. This is unacceptable and feels like an unjustified, automatic charge without any proof. Guests should not be held responsible for false readings or assumptions without verification. I strongly urge future guests to be cautious and document everything during their stay, as this hotel clearly does not investigate before penalizing guests. Very disappointing experience with Embassy Suites by Hilton.

Nestled in the vibrant Isla Verde district, Verdanza Hotel San Juan is a delightful retreat that combines comfort and convenience. Guests can enjoy polished accommodations, some boasting stunning ocean views. The hotel features an inviting outdoor pool, a fitness center for those looking to stay active, and even an off-leash dog park for furry friends. With three on-site restaurants and a tapas bar to satisfy your culinary cravings, there's no shortage of dining options.
I’m not really sure why this place has bad reviews. I have stayed here with my mom five times and every time has been excellent. The hotel is so clean and lobby is beautiful. The staff are so kind and attentive. The atmosphere is so relaxing and it is one of the best parts of coming to Puerto Rico! Lots of amenities including a restaurant in the hotel, a bar in the hotel, lovely pool, jacuzzi and kids water playground. Most importantly, the espresso lab is also amazing, Luis and Christina are the best. Can’t wait to return!

Service from all employees was excellent. They were very kind and attentive. Our room was nice and comfortable. The splash pad is great for children. The pool and jacuzzi are also nice. However, the patrons here like to litter heavily in the pool. Breakfast was okay. There were some gnats, and some bugs infiltrated a cereal pack I grabbed from the buffet.

I stayed there over the weekend with my dog and it was a great experience! The hotel is currently under construction so our room didn’t have the most things you typically have in a hotel room (I.e. ironing board, iron) but overall it was a great stay. We initially booked a two bed one room and on my reservation it only showed as two people instead of three but they were able to quickly accommodate us, especially to a villa on the first floor which made it easy to walk my dog. Everyone was so nice, especially to my dog. I would recommend staying again! My only complaint is the room didn’t feel super clean, the bathroom had a stain on the floor that threw me off, but I always wipe down rooms I stay at anyways. Other than that I would stay again and if you travel with your dogs like I do, I recommend staying here!

***** Stayed here in July 2025 ***** This hotel is plagued with terrible review of rooms being in poor, rundown condition. I was skeptical based on the many poor reviews, but let me say the rooms are newly renovated and very up to date with spacious rainfall showers. New and very comfortable mattresses & pillows. The refrigerator could be larger in my opinion. The bed and dresser have multiple USB plugs, including USB-C Great location right off the expressway exit you’ll be at the hotel parking lot in seconds. Side note, there is still renovations going on and if you mind that then I would say look elsewhere for now. If you don’t mind crews working and the occasional renovation sounds, this is a beautiful hotel with a beautiful pool area and great location.

Clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We were at the last room on our floor and there was significant noise going on during the mornings due to construction. In addition, we could clearly hear the shower running from the room next door which was quite loud. Great location, walking distance to many restaurants and a block away from Isla Verde Beach with a convenience store near by.

Stood there in January 2025 & had asked for a poolside room but wasn’t informed that area was being remodeled. So no pool. Also asked for a balcony & none was given to me. As far as room service I was there for four days & the maid only came to clean my room only once. Had two water leaks in bathroom & then the battery died on my safe & had to call front desk to have someone change the batteries. Not a great day to start my vacation. This all happened by day two..😩. No discounts were offered or given. Yes but it would have been nice if someone would have told me ahead of time about the pool & that the room I requested wasn’t available. Your house cleaners need to show up to clean rooms instead of being in the hallways a lot on their cellphones instead of showing up to take out the trash. If you can let me know when & if you have rooms available in January 2026 with a balcony at military discounts & how much it would cost for 5 days. I’ve been staying there since it was called the Carib Inn over 40 years ago.

My father made the reservations for our whole group. Our room was fine and in the remodeled area. His was in a very old, actually dirty, and mold infested (i kid you not) room. He tried to get a refund or a new room and initially the best they could do was offer to change his room in 2 days. The day after however they did give him a refund after he didn’t stay in the hotel. So happy that the hotel gave him his money back.

I was very skeptical about this hotel to the point that I almost booked somewhere else. The room was clean, the people working there were so friendly and nice and they had a really cute set up for the Bad bunny concert, the little cafe was cute and had great stuff too! 10/10 definitely recommend Side note: there is remodeling going on but it was never a problem and didn’t cause too much noise

DREAMCATCHER by DW is a boutique hotel located in the heart of Ocean Park, just a short walk from the beach. The hotel offers vintage-style rooms, some with terraces, and features a holistic wellness concept. Each of the 12 themed rooms is bright, chic, and tastefully appointed with crisp cotton sheets and natural furnishings.
Where do I begin!? Such a cute place in a nice, quiet neighborhood that's walking distance from a great beach. Plenty of street parking. We got two rooms, one for my sisters and one for my wife and me. Upon arrival, we waited for one of the rooms to be ready. Sara, at the front desk, the ultimate sweetheart, upgraded us to a BEAUTIFUL upstairs room with an outdoor shower and a small lounge area. This trip was to celebrate the birthdays of one of my sisters and my wife, so this exceptional detail made the trip even more special.

We stayed here and tried to check in early, and the staff decided to upgrade us to a suite for our entire stay! This was very appreciated as my boyfriend proposed on this trip so having a suite felt extra special. The staff is extremely kind, and the lobby providing bug spray and other forgotten essentials was a nice touch. The hotel is definitely made for those who are friendly, with the expansive gorgeous communal lounge area, but my Fiancé and I are not friendly, so we didn't spend much time there. The free coffee was good, but I feel for the price of the hotel breakfast should be included. Please note that the outdoor areas are best enjoyed in the daytime, as the mosquitos are very serious when it gets dark outside, unfortunately I got a bite or two using the outdoor restroom. I feel some sort of citronella diffuser really would've helped us enjoy the outdoor patio. We never had issues with parking. Our worst thing about the hotel is the random fee that was added per day after booking! It was completely unexplained and added on at checkout, I believe it was $60 per day? It upped the price of the hotel astronomically and I still don't know what it was for and why it wasn't apart of the advertised room price. It made the room almost out of our budget, but we fell in love with the aesthetic and decided to stay there anyways. Final notes would be a clearer price when booking, citronella diffusers on the patio, and I do very much feel that for the price of our stay, breakfast should have been included. Overall, we loved this hotel and would stay here again.

Absolute gem of a hotel! After an unfortunate stay at another San Juan hotel, I was recommended this Boutique type hotel. From the moment we walked in, the staff was so friendly. Even the messages they would send at check out, welcoming you to stay and enjoy the common areas was so nice. The rooms are quiet and tranquil. Our room was located right, literally in the gift shop (Room 7). While I will probably pick a different room the next time I stay, I will say the room was very quiet. I could not hear a thing despite being maybe 15 feet from the check in desk. It's also a beautiful little room. Oh, and I LOVED that there was no TV. I always wonder why hotels have giant tvs. I never turn them on. I'm on vacation. It was nice to lay there with the outside door open and just listen to the beautiful frog sounds of Puerto Rico. We WILL be back!

I stayed at The Dreamcatcher for four nights while traveling solo, and it was exactly what I needed — peaceful, quiet, and full of simple joy. The space is beautifully designed with so much thought and care. The staff were exceptional — warm, welcoming, and attentive in all the right ways. The food and amenities were absolutely on point, and booking a massage was one of the best decisions I made. Rhiannon was incredibly gifted — her energy and technique made the experience unforgettable. A truly special place that nourishes both body and spirit. I can’t wait to return.

The outdoor shower immediately followed by a nap on the hammock was the best spa like experience we've had. This place forces you to slow down and relax. Extremely peaceful setting, even with the Coqui going off all night (they do offer ear plugs if needed). Absolutely serene. This location is two blocks from the beach. Breakfast was delicious and restaurants and shops including the best bakery (Kasalta) are all within walking distance. No TV, which we didn't even miss. Bring OFF (for mosquitoes) or long pants. Would pick this over any of the hotels in San Juan any day.

I cannot say enough good things about my stay at Dreamcatcher. The room was so thoughtfully designed and beautiful. The entire property is so relaxing and the staff was incredible. In the morning before going out, we would enjoy a coffee or matcha in the hammock and take an outdoor shower. At night, we could sit outside on the private terrace and hear the coquis. It's one block from a beautiful beach and they provided towels. It's so centrally located to great food and drinks only a short (and cheap) Uber ride away. Great breakfast too from the staff here. I came home so incredibly relaxed from my stay here I would absolutely stay again.

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at The Dreamcatcher! I first discovered this hotel through social media, and as my mom is pescatarian I had been wanting to check it out with her since they have a vegetarian based kitchen. We stayed here as part of a family girls trip for my mom's 60th birthday. There were four of us ages ranging 20s-80s. 2 of us stayed in the Duna Suite, and 2 of us stayed in the Traveler Room. Both rooms were beautifully curated, picturesque, and comfortable. In the Duna Suite, we particularly loved the deep stone soaking tub, hammock, and sitting area, and in the Traveler Room we loved the connected patio with sitting area and hammock as well. They also left a sweet birthday note and bottle of sparkling wine in mom's room as a surprise, which was such a thoughtful and meaningful touch! The hotel is located in Ocean Park, and is convenient for walking to restaurants and the beach. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. My mom was able to speak to the chef in the morning for breakfast and enjoyed her conversation with him. The food, particularly the blueberry pancakes, was heavenly! I also loved the artisanal shop and even ordered a couple of items when I returned home. I wish we had more time here, but it was a beautiful way to start our Puerto Rican adventure. I would absolutely look to stay here again on future trips and would highly recommend.

I arrived at Dreamcatchers by DW pretty early, around 1:00 PM (check-in isn't until 4:00 PM), and they were great about holding my bags while I went to grab food. When I returned, the staff was incredibly hospitable and kindly rushed me into a different room than the one I booked to help me get settled faster. I didn't love that first room, but on the same day, the concierge texted me and was able to switch me into a room that was much more my style, Unit #2, free of charge—which was amazing service! Unit #2 in the front of the property is really nice and features a unique outdoor space with a soaking tub. Though they have two pull-down shades for privacy from the street, I felt they might need a third shade to fully block the view if you were to use the tub. Unfortunately, I couldn't use the tub anyway because the island was experiencing a water shortage during my stay, which also caused the property to have low water pressure (a trickle) one night. This wasn't the property's fault. A note on the common area: They have two public bathrooms with showers which is an amazing feature. This means if your room isn't ready when you arrive, or if you check out at 11:00 AM but have a late flight (like I did), you can easily take a shower after walking around all day to freshen up before heading to the airport. The common area also has a wonderful kitchen. I had breakfast once, an omelet and a mango blueberry smoothie, and it was delicious. The menu changes daily, and shoutout to Ed and Hugo were super attentive. By the way it was fun hearing what you guys were planning for breakfast the next day. A crucial note for travelers: There are very friendly resident cats that hang out in the front yard and may approach guests. I loved them, but if you have pet allergies or prefer not to interact with cats, please be aware that you might encounter them near the entrance. I also believe the hotel allows dogs for a fee. So if your dog is not cat friendly, please be aware of that as well. My only suggestion for Unit #2 would be to add a mosquito net to block any open overhead spaces from the outside to the inside area where the sink is. Overall, it was a very delightful stay regardless of the island's water situation, and I'll definitely be staying at this property or another one of theirs in the future.

The Hilton Garden Inn San Juan Condado is a chic and elegant wedding venue situated in the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico. Boasting modern decor and a convenient beachfront location, this venue offers 240 well-appointed guestrooms and suites, making it an ideal setting for a memorable bayside wedding celebration. Guests praise the exceptional hospitality from the moment they arrive, with efficient and professional front desk staff providing top-notch service.
Enjoyed my weekend stay at this property. Diane at the front desk was very helpful! She checked us in and acknowledged the special occasion we were traveling for. Diane also gave us a some great recommendations for food nearby. Loved the fact that we also had full access to the amenities at the Condado directly across. Look forward to visiting in the future!

We visited the bar of Azahar and our bartenders Dali and Indihra greeted us with their beautiful smiles and personalities. Dali knows her roots so well and told us a few history facts about Puerto Rico. Once Dali’s shift was over, we were introduced to Indihra and was assured by Dali that she would continue to take care of us…..and she did not disappoint. These two young ladies maintained their smiles and provided exceptional customer service not only to us but to others as well. They were quick to greet others and made sure that everyone was satisfied with their drinks. There were 2 waiters as well but I can only remember one of the waiters name-Samuel-that were working this day. Those two young men tended to others so quickly whether they were inside or out in the patio. Prior to us visiting the bar, there was another gentleman-Manuel-who helped us as well answering our tourist questions on other days we went into the hotel. His mannerisms and calm personality put us at ease. We are from Texas and the staff there showed the hospitality and friendliness that we are so accustomed too. Thank you is not enough to show our gratitude.

We hosted a corporate event at the hotel and had an outstanding five-star experience. The Royal Ballroom is elegant, spacious, and versatile ideal for corporate functions, weddings, or any special occasion. The service during the event was flawless: the staff was attentive, professional, and extremely well-coordinated. Everything ran smoothly, and our guests were thoroughly impressed. I also stayed at the hotel for the weekend and had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The highlight was definitely the stunning lagoon view from my room, which added a beautiful and relaxing touch to the whole experience. I highly recommend this hotel both as a venue and for accommodations. I would absolutely return!

The hotel and rooms we're nice. I enjoyed having access to the hotel across the mezzanine. They had great ocean views. The water pressure was not good. Other than that, it was a good stay. It is across from a Starbucks which was a plus. No free breakfast but you could purchase it if you wanted to. I was with a group of ladies and felt very safe there. The staff was really nice.

AWFUL SERVICE!! We reserved the weekend for my sister’s wedding which is going to be here and after we paid for everything we then received an email offering us the opportunity to check in at 9 am for $100 more which we found great because that way we can enjoy the pool and everything. We arrived and they told us that the check in was not available at the moment because it was full and that we have to wait until 4pm, which didn’t make sense and on top of that the guy at the customer service was rude and awful about it. This place is pretty but they don’t care about their customers or at least try to help with the situation!!
Krystal M — Google review
Not worth it. They treat tourists better than the residents of Puerto Rico. We paid extra money to get our room at 9am, and since we had paid for early check-in, we arrived early. When we got there, they rudely told us there were no rooms available, even though we paid for one. We have been waiting since 9am, all the way to 4 pm, hoping we’d finally get a room. Terrible experience. They didn’t offer anything to make up for the inconvenience, and the early check-in they advertised was completely false. Definitely not worth the extra money or the frustration. If could do 0 starts for services I would, valet service doesn't even open a car door or help with the bags.
Joathan R — Google review
The hotel was ok. The staff was nice, but nothing extraordinary. The breakfast was ok, but pretty basic, not a lot of variety and always the same every single day. The drinks were ok, but super expensive for what we are used to (the price-quality was off). The plus was that you could use the pools and beach from the hotel in front, which were nice. To be honest, I expected more from a 4-star hotel.
Liliana R — Google review
The hotel is great. Our room was fantastic the pool is awesome and the bar is very nice with great bartenders. The restaurant not so much. Twenty five dollars for a breakfast buffet that was not as good as what I would have gotten for free at a Hampton. The snacks and drinks for sale near the front desk was an ordeal for them to handle also. Instead of the desk clerk handling the sales of these items the desk clerk would push a button and a mere 30 minutes later someone from the restaurant would come and take your card or charge to your room (no cash)

Condado Ocean Club, formerly known as El San Juan Hotel, is a stylish beachfront hotel with a rich history. Originally designed by architect Morris Lapidus and favored by Old Hollywood elite, the hotel has undergone a $65 million renovation and joined the Fairmont Hotels & Resorts portfolio in 2020. The magnificent lobby and Chandelier Bar still exude Gilded Age ambiance.
The stay at Condado Ocean Club was amazing! From check-in to check-out, Stephanie was wonderful and made sure everything went smoothly. The room was nice and spotless, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The hotel’s location is perfect — close to so many great restaurants, which was a huge plus. We had brunch at The Social, and the food was absolutely delicious. The pool had an amazing vibe, especially with the weekend DJ, and the drinks were top-notch. Angel and Giovanni provided exceptional service and really made us feel special. I will definitely be coming back soon!

My stay at this hotel was wonderful. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The location is absolutely perfect—right on the beachfront with stunning views that you can enjoy at any time of day. Everything from the cleanliness of the rooms to the overall vibe of the property made it a great choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautiful and enjoyable getaway spot.

Everything about this place is amazing great. 👏 The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. Try the blue drink at the bar called the socialite. The pool is beautiful and the decor is spectacular. I booked through Amex Travel Platinum Card and received daily complimentary breakfast which was a full breakfast with delicious options. 😋 I would definitely come back to visit this hotel. Helena, Andos, Wilfred are some of the names of the staff who really stood out. Thank you 😊

What I wish I had known: This is a boutique hotel which I knew. What I didn’t realize is that you seem the same people each day and one negative experience impacts the stay. That is NOT the hotels fault and my rating does not consider the behavior of other guests, just FYI. The hotel allows day passes where people are not staying at the hotel can use the pool. There is one pool and it is smaller. The rooms have no counter space in the bathroom but a ton of counter space under the tv but no mirror. I did know this ahead and was fine with it but there is no ocean swimming available. We enjoyed the sun and waves in the provided chairs with umbrellas. Service was great but not over the top. I often had to wait at the front desk for someone. Hotel was clean, towels available for pool. Dining at social was great! Winfred was my favorite server but in general everyone at social was great and the food was yummy!

Condado Ocean Club is one of the most stylish and scenic wedding venues in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I’ve had the joy of photographing both a full destination wedding and a double vow renewal here—and both were unforgettable. This venue is perfect for couples who want a modern, oceanfront celebration. The beachfront ceremony deck gives you the beauty of a beach wedding without having to set foot in the sand, and the ocean views from every angle are just breathtaking. Whether you're planning a large wedding or an intimate celebration, the light, design, and flow of this space make it ideal for photos and for your guests' experience. For portraits, I especially love the rocky coastline and the private beach access for sunset photos. I’ve also worked inside their SOCIAL Restaurant for intimate receptions—it’s cozy, tropical, and full of great vibes. Every love story I’ve captured here has had its own energy, but they’ve all shared the same magic of this beautiful venue by the sea.

Want to start off with my booking. Not sure how but I booked the wrong night in Expedia and when I tried to change to the correct two nights, Expedia was less than helpful. I called the hotel and Danieli could not have been any more human. It was clear to her it was a simple error. She was kind and compassionate and quickly changed my reservation and also offered to help me secure a driver for a funeral I needed to attend a couple of towns away. Every single touch point in the hotel echoed the humanity that Danieli displayed. The location was beautiful, the room was modern and clean. The Restaurant on site was really delicious too. Highly impressed and can’t wait to go back for more than two nights.

Condado Ocean club is where it’s at! My GF & I stayed for a week. It’s an Adults only classy luxe type of hotel. Indoor dining, Outdoor dining, infinity pool, sun deck, outdoor pool. It’s def a happening place to stay. All the staff are there to serve you & are really professional. The complimentary breakfast given is very well worth attending in the morning. Coffee & espresso’s are really good here also. Def would recommend the Sandbox next door. Their mojitos were delish.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of San Juan, O:LV HOTEL is a luxurious adults-only retreat that promises an unforgettable experience. This stylish hotel boasts a rooftop terrace complete with a stunning pool and DJ booth, offering breathtaking lagoon views. Just a short distance from iconic attractions like Castillo de San Cristobal and the Luis A. Ferre Performing Arts Center, it’s perfectly situated for exploration.
The hotel is one of the nicest on the island. Please dont bring children we loved the adult only atmosphere. The luxury and service takes it to a new level. When you open the door to your room you can smell a light sent of bleach. It is so clean here. The staff are trained to be observant they leap into action with out hesitation. This was my first stay but I will be back the robes and slippers. The room, was the cheep one they have to options above this one and it's stunning. Next time we will do the master suite.

My best friend and I bought a pool pass for the OLV rooftop pool last week and it was truly such a lovely experience! Upon arrival, we were escorted / upgraded to our own little cabana. I wish I could remember the name of the male who took us upstairs - I believe he was the pool manager there - but he was so fun and polite! Our waitress was also really personable and kind. We ended up having a really long chat with Gustavo who was SO lovely! He told us all about his favorite places in San Juan and shared some go-to restaurants and beaches. Collectively, they made our short experience there so relaxing and memorable.

Beautiful decor, extremely hospitable staff, very clean and large rooms. The rooftop was perfect! It was never too crowded. I enjoyed all of the amenities on site. Mari was extremely helpful with my bags after leaving. I’m so glad I booked this hotel for my birthday vacation to San Juan.

We absolutely loved our stay at OLV Hotel. The property is beautiful, the amenities were excellent, the view breathtaking, and the staff incredibly kind and professional. Special thanks to Josue from the valet team, who went above and beyond throughout our stay. That being said, a day after checkout we were unexpectedly charged $500 for a smoking violation on the balcony. We were never informed about this policy at check-in, and there was no “No Smoking” sign on our balcony or mention of it in the welcome letter (attached photo). While we understand the property is non-smoking indoors, it was never made clear that this extended to private balconies. When we called, the representative claimed there was a sign and that we had signed an agreement- which is false, as we booked through a third-party package and signed nothing. She also promised to send proof but never did. The hotel also failed to notify us about the charge beforehand, which felt unprofessional. Adding to the confusion, other guests were smoking around the property, and even the late checkout fee online says $75, but when they texted us, they stated $150. I’m sharing this review to inform future guests that hidden fees can be a real issue here. OLV should clearly communicate all policies and penalties upfront, especially when charges are this high. Transparency and consistency are key to maintaining trust.

When we first got there, the front desk was super friendly and helpful check-in was quick and easy. The hotel is beautiful, with a modern vibe, valet parking, and it’s only about 15 minutes from the airport. There’s even a lake nearby where you can go kayaking, which was a nice touch. I also liked that you need your key to use the elevator good safety feature! Now, the room… that was a different story. From the photos online, we thought we were getting a balcony, but when we walked in, there were zero windows. None. It looked nice but felt really claustrophobic. We tried to switch rooms, but the hotel was fully booked. Later, we brought in some pizza and wanted to eat outside since the room was so stuffy, but the staff told us we couldn’t sit on the patio unless we bought food or drinks from the hotel. That was frustrating especially since there’s no other place to sit and eat comfortably. The pool and jacuzzi looked nice, but the pool is more for decoration than swimming, and the upstairs jacuzzi wasn’t even working. They do have beach towels if you want to go offsite, though. The staff was amazing, but honestly, the rooms gave off “bougie aesthetic psych ward” vibes beautiful, but way too closed-in. Definitely some things that could be improved for comfort!

Our stay has unfortunately been very unpleasant. I’ve really tried to avoid leaving a negative review, but at this point it’s difficult not to. From early in the morning, starting around 8 AM, the noise level has been unbearable. Between the constant vacuuming in the hallways, loud footsteps above and around us, and what honestly sounds like construction or renovations happening next door, we haven’t been able to get any peace or rest during our stay. On top of the noise issues, the service has also been disappointing. We specifically requested towels, and despite waiting, they were never brought to our room. For a place that should provide comfort and hospitality, the lack of responsiveness and consideration for guests has been incredibly frustrating. Valet is extremely rude and it took 30 minutes for us to get our car when leaving to head to the airport. After waiting thirty minutes the guy with the Afro didn’t even apologize for the wait, open the doors or anything. He just parked the car and left the door opened and walked right inside. The only nice valet guy was Josue. Overall, this has been one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had, and I cannot recommend it. If I could give it less than 0/10, I would.

Very cozy & romantic. Went to celebrate my husband’s 33 bday & it was necessary an alone time for us. The bed room is beautiful only thing it doesn’t have ventilation (windows). The decoration it selves is luxurious. Food was good, asked for iced and they brought it very fast. I couldn’t understand the desk & chair in the bathroom but each their own I guess.

I wanted to love O:LV Fifty Five — the design is stunning and the reputation set my expectations high. Unfortunately, my stay was marked by repeated disappointments. Housekeeping twice left our room uncleaned, with crumbs and food boxes on the floor. Even after asking for service, the response was minimal: towels swapped, trash removed, but no real cleaning. On Sunday, I found a dead roach in the room. The housekeeper simply swept it away and left. The most painful issue was losing a pair of Saint Laurent shoes I reported at checkout. I was assured they’d be delivered to my friend who hadn’t checked out yet. They never were, despite my follow-up texts. I have screenshots of my communication with the staff that document this. A boutique hotel should deliver more than aesthetics — it should deliver care, cleanliness, and integrity. My experience did not reflect that. I hope leadership takes these concerns seriously and works to restore trust in what could be a truly exceptional property.

Nestled in the vibrant Condado district, the AC Hotel San Juan Condado offers a delightful blend of relaxation and adventure. This hotel features a charming Spanish restaurant, a lively cocktail lounge, and an inviting tapas bar. One of its standout attractions is the stunning rooftop pool area where guests can unwind while soaking up breathtaking 360-degree views of San Juan.
I had a great stay at this hotel! The location was perfect, walking distance from many shops and the beach. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptional; friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond throughout my visit. I had an issue with my TV, and it was addressed quickly with no hassle. What really stood out was how the staff continued to check in on me during my stay, which I’m not used to, but definitely appreciated. I’d absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

We had an issue with bed cleanliness on our first day. The front desk manager addressed the issue promptly and provided the right level of service. I was impressed that she shook my hand upon meeting. A small, but welcomed gesture. This hotel has a great location. The staff, especially at breakfast, were all friendly and approachable. We visited for San Juan Pride and were quite sad to see the hotel did not fly and Pride flags. It is on the parade route and actually suggested as a place to stay for Pride. Hopefully Marriott will do more to show their Pride in 2026! The biggest downfall is the resort fee. We did not use any of the beach amenities. We also couldn’t keep up with when the food/beverage credits applied and where. This really feels like a way to cheat the customer. I would much rather they charge a fee if you want to use the beach amenities.

The rooms are spacious and the location is only so-so. Their beach access itls 3 blocks away as they don't have direct access, but they do offer beach chairs, umbrellas and towels at the beach to use. The Rooms are good, but here AC sucks, if you don't keep it under 72 the rooms get sweaty and the floor gets slick- so be prepared to be a little chilled at times. Balconys don't really have a view so don't fret if you don't get a high floor. It's close enough to Old San Juan that Uber was only $8-$12 for our part of 4. There are plenty of walkable bars and restaurants nearby and very good Breakfast spots close. Don't bother with the Hotel breakfast, it's way too expensiveand very limited.

Very good location, one of the best in PR. Affordable parking available (bonvoy members get a discount) also street parking available around (safe neighborhood) ask front desk, nice perks with your 45 destination fee in addition few extras for bonvoy members. Great place for breakfast at the ground floor with Sobao (awesome puertorrican sandwiches). At the rooftop you have a bar and a place to eat, I will recommend to get the lobster salad montadito. It is really good! Enjoy San Juan and the Gorgeous Enchanted Island ❤️❤️❤️

My stay at this hotel was OK. I love the location as it was very walkable and had many restaurants and stores that were nearby. However, the room was not worth the price paid as the sofa bed was highly uncomfortable and had a strange odor. the partial ocean view is barely any view and is not worth paying the extra for it. After waiting for the room to be ready for about an hour, I would’ve expected it to be cleaner and to have had sheets on the bed. They also charge a $45 resort fee that they say you can use for the restaurant there but the food is very overpriced and the $45 hardly will cover anything you’ll get there so it ends up going to waste. I will say it is nice that they provide umbrellas and beach chairs for you to go to Condado Beach that is nearby. However you’ll have to get there early so that all the umbrellas are not taken. The hotel is only about 12 minutes from the airport, which is also very convenient. Staff were also kind & helpful. The hotel just needs some upgrading and it would be better.

I had high hopes for the AC Marriott in Condado, but unfortunately, the experience was frustrating from the moment I arrived. My room was not ready at the guaranteed 3 PM check-in time. I followed up three times, and each time I was told to wait—with no updates, no apology, and certainly no compensation. We were finally given a room after 5 PM, which completely derailed a very important evening that required us to be showered and ready to leave by 5. That didn’t happen. To make matters worse, I watched other guests—who arrived after me—get attended to more promptly, some even receiving food orders and accommodations without delay. There was no effort to make it right—no drink coupons, no room upgrade, no sincere apology—just blank stares and the sense that no one cared. This weekend was incredibly important to me. The hotel had one job—have a room ready by check-in—and they couldn’t deliver. For an island that relies heavily on tourism, poor service like this won’t cut it. Puerto Rico is beautiful, but the hospitality needs to meet the moment. Sadly, this hotel fell short.

I had a quick stay at this property for business, and experienced serious issues with black mold in the room. I asked to be moved to a different room due to the strong mold smell, and the second room has the same issue so I just figured they were all that way and stayed with it. The air conditioning vents had visible black mold. If you are sensitive to mold, I would recommend not staying here. With that being said, the bed was comfortable, room had nice views and was well-appointed and clean other than the mold issue, and the rooftop restaurant and terrace were lovely.

This hotel is advertised as a 4-star establishment, but our experience was closer to a 1-star — and that’s being generous. We left feeling frustrated, uncomfortable, and completely misled. Right after checking in, my wife had a panic attack. Unfortunately, the receptionist we dealt with showed no empathy or willingness to help. There was no attempt to offer assistance, not even basic kindness. It was a moment when human decency was needed — and it simply wasn’t there. The first room we were given had a strong, musty odor like damp and mold, and the air conditioning unit was incredibly loud. We asked to be moved, and thankfully we were, but that didn’t solve everything. The restaurant was another major letdown. The food we received was inedible — particularly the chicken, which was slimy and had an off smell. We ended up sending it back and eating elsewhere for the rest of our stay. The air conditioning in the room kept shutting off during the night, which meant waking up repeatedly to turn it back on. The bed also felt uncomfortably humid — not something you expect in any decent hotel, let alone one claiming four stars. On top of that, housekeeping started knocking persistently on our door at 9 AM, which felt invasive and unnecessary. The building itself isn’t well-equipped for guests either. There’s only one elevator for the entire hotel, which made coming and going slow and inconvenient. To be clear, not everyone we encountered was rude — some of the staff were polite enough — but the overall experience was far below expectations. From the lack of basic comfort to the poor service and questionable cleanliness, this hotel is nowhere near 4 stars. We won’t be coming back.

The Condado Plaza Hotel is an upscale beachfront resort property located in the heart of San Juan. It offers a range of amenities including 4 pools, 5 restaurants, a fitness center, contemporary eateries, and a rooftop pool overlooking the ocean. The hotel's convenient location allows guests to easily access Condado Beach, historical museums, and the Puerto Rico Convention Center.
Overall, our stay at Condado Plaza was very positive. The hotel is beautiful, and the staff made a huge difference in our experience. Karla at the lobby bar was energetic, friendly, and remembered every guest she served. Housekeeping on our floor was attentive and always asked if we needed anything, even though we declined daily cleaning. The towel team was also fantastic. The only downside was the pool area, which was understaffed and made it challenging to get food or drinks. Even so, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

This hotel offer some really unique features that others in condado don't offer. They have a salt eater pool that is super refreshing They have a beach area that is like a lagoon with no rough water. Perfect for snorkeling, we saw tons of colorful fish The views feom the ocean front roo.s are spectacular If you enjoy walking like we do you can walk to old san juan Its close to tons of entertainment venues and local spots like la placita which is a 5min car ride. I strongly recommend this hotel

This was my first time my husband and I have visited Puerto Rico and The Condado Hilton was an amazing place to stay. So for the positives: excellent customer service, especially the front desk-always helpful and considerate. The hotel is right on the beach and it is an amazingly beautiful hotel. For the negatives: room was a bit dated, curtains were a little dirty and the bed sat low to the floor. However, the bathroom is huge and if you get an ocean view room, the view is worth it (we were in room 528). The hotel is under renovations but we would stay there again in a heartbeat❤️. You can’t beat excellent customer service!

Use this hotel for after our cruise before we went home. We are drama members so that we did get a room right away. I don't know if that was the reason the room was very spacious, clean. Neat the the home was tiled balcony was very nice. Very good view. They had a slide at the pool. They had a bar at the pool. There was a saltwater pool and then a regular pool. There was a hot tub that was a lot of place to walk around. Watch the water. The staff was very nice and helpful when we had. There was plenty of restaurants to walk to. It was warm

Great Location!!! (You need to determine what is a must for you when picking hotels) Front Desk Pro: Super nice and hospitable staff! Front Desk Cons: None Room Pro: Ocean view room is a must!! Room Cons: Room had a terrible mildew smell. Sheets were damp and also pillows smelled bad. Floors very slippery in the rooms….be CAREFUL!!! Rooms definitely need an update for sure! Pool Pros: Swim up bar was nice. Beach access was nice. Pool Cons: Staff seemed more into themselves than helping guests. I waited about 15 minutes to be acknowledged and finally left the swim up bar. Hotel Food Pros: Did not eat within the hotel. LOVED Starbucks right next door. Hotel Food Cons: room service….could not get in touch with anyone so that was a bit annoying but we ended up walking the strip. Hotel Bar Pro: Looks Nice and hours Hotel Bar Cons: Didn’t even get a drink as the bartender did not acknowledge us after 10 minutes of sitting. Overall - we would probably try another hotel in the area. Overall, 5 out of 10.

The lobby is nice, staff was helpful and courteous. However, there was only 1 elevator working. Once we reached our floors we noticed that the hallway carpets need updating but, I didn’t worry too much because I figured the room would be fine. Till I arrived at the room. There was a trail of ants and a few roaches by the fridge. Shower leaks through the door even if it’s closed. Toilet seat was incorrect size for that specific toilet. Light fixture (lamp) was rusted. Curtains had stains on them… overall room felt like I step into 1985. Definitely needs serious updating.
Lydia D — Google review
I won't ever stay here again. This place is run down and out dated. They only had one functioning elevator. The only decent area is the lobby. They have the nerve to charge a resort fee of 80$ per night and nothing about this hotel is resort style. Very disappointed.. my lamp in my room had rust on it. That lets you know how old this hotel is.. there are no restaurants on the property they are actually across the street at the sister property. They have a fake Aqua grill that serves food that you can find at your local bar and it probably will taste better than here. Save your money people and book a real resort if you will be charged for staying at a resort!

I recently stayed at the Hilton Condado Plaza Hotel in San Juan, and unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing Hilton experiences I’ve had — especially as a Diamond member who stays with Hilton frequently. Only one of the two elevators was working during my entire stay, which caused long waits and crowding. The hallway carpets were dirty and visibly worn, giving the hotel a run-down feel. Inside the room, the body wash was missing, and to make matters worse, the room phone didn’t work, so I had to go down to the front desk to get basic amenities. For a property charging over $300 per night, this was far below Hilton standards. The location is good, but the overall maintenance, cleanliness, and service were very poor. I would recommend looking at other nearby hotels if you expect the quality typically associated with Hilton.

Hotel El Convento, located at 100 Calle del Cristo in Old San Juan, is a beautifully restored 17th-century convent turned into a polished hotel. The building's rich history is evident in its architecture and antique furniture. Guests can enjoy the rooftop plunge pool with stunning views of the bay and savor traditional Puerto Rican dishes and Spanish-style tapas at the Nispero restaurant. While some find the beds uncomfortable, many appreciate the friendly staff and warm atmosphere.
Beautiful hotel, the rooms were great and the bed was comfortable. The service was top notch everyone was so kind and helpful. So many amenities including a daily happy hour and complimentary water and coffee etc available around the clock. Also the courtyard downstairs was gorgeous, and it has a restaurant that serves amazing food. The history behind the hotel is very interesting. The location was great everything we wanted was within walking distance. My wife and I were very happy, anytime we are in San Juan we will stay here.

We had an incredible week staying in room 201, even though there was a hurrican foe the first few days. The view is incredible and we spent many hours just people watching. The food was incredible and the staff was all so nice and helpful. When it was time to go home, we forgot some items and Joan went to our room and gathered them quickly, allowing us to go home with our belongings and make our flight on time. Thank you Joan for helping us fix our forgetfulness before our 6am flight! We hope to return for another stay soon.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel last weekend. We had a great experience. The hotel was clean and the room was nice. Loved sitting in the outdoor patio where they serve complimentary coffee every morning. Staff were very welcoming and always willing to help. The location was perfect as it is within easy walking of everything you'd want to see in Old San Juan. Around $500 per night is a bit much for the amenities provided by the hotel but I guess that is what you have to pay to stay at a nice place in such a good location.

While exploring Old San Juan one day, we came upon this beautiful hotel! We decided to eat lunch there, we sat at a covered bar area, the hotel was so beautiful around us! Our server Andrea was phenomenal, very attentive to all of our needs, and she was so lovely to talk to! The food was delicious! We had such a great experience here at this hotel! It made us want to stay there next time we visit Puerto rico! Thank you so much! 🇵🇷

This hotel is perfectly located in Old San Juan next to the basilica , restaurants and shops Galore! Hotel Convento is so stunning! my description and photos could never do it justice. From the moment you walk through the arched wooden doors the enchanting fragrance that fills the air the aesthetics of the old charm, the history that fills walls, the pristine shine on the black and ivory checkered floor, I mean just wow! Don't even get me started with their boho inspired out door patio restaurant, just gorgeous. The hotel hosts a tour at around 4pm and tells the history of the convent it used to be and then enjoy complimentary glass of wine and assorted cheeses on the terrace by the pool to watch the sunset afterwards. The staff was so professional hospitable and accommodating. My daughter and I had an ocean view double bed room. well air conditioned and clean. We had doors that opened up and had a balcony feel to it. The beds were very comfortable, linens were clean and soft. The bathroom was small but pretty and updated. There were plenty of towels, warm robes and slippers for each of us and there was a mini fridge, and coffee machine as well. The room suited our needs perfectly as we were there for the Bad Bunny residency weekend. If you're into traditional Old San Juan and appreciate the beauty of old charm, then please put this on your list. You will not be disappointed.

I recently stayed here for a wedding and the service was incredible. After my stay, I realized I left my AirPods at the hotel. Josantonio, the front office manager, went out of his way to not only locate the AirPods, but also shipped them to me at no cost. I am extremely grateful for his thoroughness and kindness. I highly recommend staying here, and having events here, as all of the staff are very friendly and professional.

I came to this hotel for a wedding and although pricey, it’s worth it! Rooms are very spacious and clean. Employees were awesome. Great ambiance within the hotel lobby, bar area, etc. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. They even give us a larger suite to accommodate us last minute due to bringing an extra person. Would definitely come again. Overall, amazing experience!

What a beautiful hotel. Location is great- very walkable and close to monuments and restaurants. The lobby and common areas were just gorgeous here. The restaurant inside was also a gem. They offered a happy hour with complimentary wine and cheese. The pool is on the smaller side and is more of a personal pool than anything, but it was pretty views nonetheless. The rooms could be updated a bit more, but overall would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to friends/family.

Guests can enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi and indulge in a delicious hot breakfast to kickstart their day.
We stayed here as a layover before going on a cruise. We found the hotel to be exceptionally clean and very adequate for our overnight stay. We ate in the restaurant, the food and service was great. One of our bags did not arrive with us and was going to there the next morning at 6 am. The convenience of being right in the airport and be able to pick our bag up was wonderful. This is not a luxury hotel but I would highly recommend it.

We had an excellent overnight stay at the San Juan Airport Hotel. The rooms were spotless, modern, and very comfortable. Michael at the front desk was outstanding — friendly, attentive, and made our check-in process seamless. Breakfast included with the stay was fresh, varied, and convenient, which made catching our early flight stress-free. Everything about the hotel made our short stay easy and enjoyable. Highly recommended for travelers looking for convenience and comfort near the airport.

Nice, basic hotel with a clean room and nice staff. This is not a 5 star hotel. It is, however, a fine option for night's stay at a reasonable price. The room I was in had a tub/shower combo, so check for ADA accommodations. They offer an on-premise restaurant and a free (basic) breakfast. Not many vegetarian options, but I did but get oatmeal and a bagel with coffee (good enough). The Uber ride to the cruise port was $12. This hotel is a great option if you fly in for a cruise. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning. Give it a try

A bit disappointed with the lack of consideration from the staff knowing that I had an early flight & was in need of an early night. Room 418 is right next to one of the elevators & was extremely noisy until early AM. ALSO, a bit is a shock there was NO HOT water for a comfortable shower in the morning. The room was very clean and adequate for an overnight in San Juan.

Very subpar hotel in a sentence. I got put up here by JetBlue after they misconnected me causing me to have to stay the night in San Juan. The hotel is located at the other side of the airport terminals from where JetBlue is located but it’s not very far, maybe 7-10 minute walk. Can get there either indoors or outdoors. Check in was smooth and friendly. Ok the room is very very small and many ants all over the room and on the bed, very felt scratchy when laying in bed. Read the other reviews after that share the same and it seems to be a common problem at this hotel. There was no bottled water in the room even, very basic. The restaurant at the hotel is also extremely overpriced even coming from New York standards. Breakfast staff are really nice but breakfast itself is plain boring and uninspiring at all. I kind of wish jetblue put me up someplace better but it is what it is. I certainly wouldn’t book this place. Take a cheap uber to town or the beach and book something way better and with good reviews.

We stayed here for the night before our cruise and plan to after the cruise is over. Great for things like this or business trips. The breakfast is basic, but do yourself a favor and get the omelette. It's not a fancy place but for the convience it's good. No roaches or bug problems and the rooms are relevatively clean.
Charlotte J — Google review
Convenient for those with early flights. Unfortunately not much to do… limited TV channels and the wifi is so slow you can’t even load your social media feed. Restaurant is crazy expensive… highly suggest just walking down to the terminals and taking advantage of the restaurants there. Our tap water also turned yellow/brown and a staff member came to assist and said the tap water is never drinkable, even before this issue yet there are no signs or anything? The plus is that the room was clean & modern with comfortable beds. Cool patio on 3rd floor but the bar was closed with no posted hours.

It was excellent. It's an older hotel, nothing glamorous, but very clean, comfortable bed, has ironing boarad & iron, microwave, coffe, blowdryer, tv & alarm clock. It's your basic hotel but the staff was amazing, all of them. The breakfast was great & is included with your stay. We didn't dine in the restaurant so not sure about the food. The terrace was a very nice touch, also very clean & had his & hers bathroom & outdoor shower, 2 hot tubs. The only thing I found odd is the bob wire that surrounded the fence on terrace & the bathroom in our room, the tub was questionable it was not stable & way too small. Other than that, everything in room was great.

Aloft San Juan is a trendy hotel located in the heart of Distrito T-Mobile, an entertainment complex featuring various dining options, a cinema with cutting-edge technology, and a concert hall. The hotel offers chic rooms and suites, along with a 24-hour cafe, bar/restaurant, and an outdoor pool. It's conveniently situated just a 10-minute cab ride away from Old San Juan, Condado, and Miramar.
This hotel is in a great location. As soon as you walk outside of the hotel, you're surrounded by entertainment and excitement. You're not far from anything. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you booked online, you will most likely have to pay an additional $35 a night for taxes. The nearby food isn't pricey unless you want lobster or steak. If you want snacks or bottled water, you should bring it to the hotel. Nearby, We found bottled water for $8. A slice of cake was $10.

The hotel is super clean, the staff are extremely friendly and courteous. I would give the hotel a perfect 5-star but when we checked in at the front desk we were advised that the parking would be a $18.00 flat fee and there would be no other charge. But on check out we were charged $35.00 a night for 8 days. For a total of $463.92. The staff at the check-in weren't honest with us, as we were told from the beginning that the cost was $35.00 a night for parking. I would have found parking somewhere else. Dishonesty doesn't go right with me. I even discussed this upon checking in at the hotel and the person checking us in said that this wouldn't happen in this hotel. It's only $18.00 a day and that’s where the employees park. $35.00 daily is far from $18.00. This is another tactic to charge more money to the customers.

The customer service here is exceptional !!! I had called and wanted to surprise my sister for her birthday and Aloft exceeded my expectation! They totally made her arrival super special and wonderful. Arturo, Karina Cruz Valle & Kenneth Rivera went above and beyond to make sure she had a nice surprise and a warm welcome to her room. Thank you again!! When I visit Puerto Rico, I know where I will stay at !!

TWICE the hotel cancelled my reservation, claiming that I asked them to despite neither I nor Booking.com making that request; the second time the day before I was to arrive. I had to spend hours on the phone to get the reservation reinstated each time. The breakfast is not very good quality for the money; it definitely looked and tasted like it was assembled from frozen, premade kits and they ran out of several items each day. The room was nice in general, but the king bed was shockingly hard, even though it had a mattress topper; I don't think I slept more than a few hours a night. Lastly, the in-room AC cooled well but even on the lowest fan speed, it was far too loud to leave on at night. I've stayed at other Aloft locations before, but this was definitely one I'd avoid in the future.
Jake H — Google review
If you want a quiet, chill hotel this isn’t for you. With the T-Mobile district next door there is always loud music. I, personally, don’t mind it. Room was ok. No dresser to store clothes, the large glass “barn door” to the bathroom was very hard to open when closed. One of the outlets next to the bed didn’t work, and the room smelled very musty. Bed was nice though and the AC works great. The bar is good, and the food is decent. Pool is a good size, but there is no hot tub. Staff was always nice. Always a nice car parked up front.
Travis C — Google review
Hotels have recently started adding “resort fees” to their rooms, and this one is no exception. It’s a $35/night fee that supposedly includes $18 for food (excluding the market), internet, and something else I can’t recall. However, this Aloft hotel has found a way to nickel and dime you, as the $18 wasn’t deducted from my bill. I’m a lifetime titanium member, so I’m supposed to get the internet for free anyway, but this fee is infuriating because it’s simply added to your bill even if you don’t want it. The room itself was clean and modern, but there was a musty smell coming from the hallway on the 3rd floor, where my room was located. The room itself had a weird smell too. The shower was missing body wash, so I had to use the bar of soap. However, since they use refillable containers now, there’s no place to put the soap once you use it. The walls are very thin, so I could hear everything, even the vibration of the phone alarm from the guest in the room next to mine in the morning. The gym had good equipment, and the pool was beautiful. It would have been perfect for swimming laps, but the geniuses decided to make one of the walls slanted and have stairs on the other end, making it impossible to actually get a workout. I guess it was designed more for just hanging out, which I can understand. Since I had the supposedly $18 per day for breakfast, I decided to order some food. I got a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel, which took 35 minutes to come out. The next day, because I had gotten sick from another restaurant in Puerto Rico, I only wanted some sparkling water. That took about 15 minutes to order, and the line was so long. The service was mediocre at best. As a lifetime titanium member, I expected upgrades, but there were none. When I called to complain about the bill, they told me they would have to investigate to see if I could even get the $18/day refunded. I’ve never had to deal with any issue to my bill like this at a Marriott property before. Needless to say, I won’t be going back to this property.

The hotel is clean and staff is really nice and helpful. Location is perfect, nearby everything. The only negative is you can hear the music from outside and they play until as late at 5 am. So could be hard to get some sleep. Overall I enjoyed My stay
Leonna A — Google review
The music in the T-Mobile district is too loud and above decibel regulation. We were in room 318 and could hear and feel the vibrations of the music in our beds. When we called the front desk at 1am they said that was normal and music would end “Early” at 3am. They were able to move us to the 7th floor where we did not hear the music. We were able to fall asleep around 230am. We had to be up early in the morning to prepare for a wedding. I found this to be unacceptable. The hotel booking website should have disclosed this information. If this continues to be a recurring problem why has the hotel not attempted to rectify this. We did not have a pleasant stay and asked to be reimbursed however were denied. I will be disputing this charge.

Guests can unwind at the solarium or take a refreshing dip in the outdoor pool before indulging in exquisite French cuisine at Niche Bistro, a favorite among locals.
This place was great. We checked in late, and the gentleman at the front desk was very accommodating. When we checked out, we were able to leave our bags at the desk as we explored the neighborhood. The room was nice. Had air conditioning and a fan. Our balcony had a pocket view of the ocean as well. The surrounding neighborhood is walkable, and we found a few nice boutique shops and restaurants.

My husband booked this hotel for myself and my daughter to celebrate my 53rd birthday. I’m from Puerto Rico and I haven’t been home in many years so this was a blessing. The hotel was very cute even though we had a few minor problems. The staff helped us out immensely. When it was something that the staff on hand could not handle the management as well as the owner herself got involved and were able to handle it swiftly. To show good faith, they even offer to refund us some of our money for this stay that we are currently waiting for. Hopefully it will be arriving pretty soon. All in all the vacation was very beautiful. I love being home on my island. Can’t wait to go back.

I had a great experience in Acacia and great memories. The staff was great and very hospitable. The room was very clean and amenities were exelent. Specifically my flight changed and when I called Eddy at front desk he changed my reservations to the next day without issues or questions. It was very impressive how he provided me with such great attention. I am extremely appreciative for Eddy in securing my stay and being so attentive to my needs. Overall great experience and looking forward to coming and seeing Eddy again.

If you’re looking for a cheap place to stay, this may work for you. However, do not expect more. I specifically asked in an email if the rooms had a refrigerator for insulin. They said yes. When we arrived to hotel, there was no refrigerator. At registration, they kept telling me they don’t know who told me that. I told him that they should go and look at their response to my emails. I asked to speak with the manager, and during the entire five days, the manager never contacted me. We had to go buy a cheap ice chest. There are other places just as cheap as this one, so if you can avoid this place, do it. Also, the restaurant NICHE, said we had to make a reservation and asked if there was a special occasion. I told him it was my husbands birthday. When we got there, the place was empty, and they sat us at the bar. We ate, and then we left. No mention of a birthday, and there was only one other person in the seating area when we left. The entire motel experience and restaurant is of low standard and low customer service quality. Stayed for a long weekend & the rooms were perfect for 4. Ended up upgrading after the original reservation was made & they upgraded hassle free which was great check in was a breeze & the personal were kind and welcoming. The hotel is cute and close to it all. TV didn’t work but again we were out and about the entire weekend so it didn’t matter. Heated pool on the second floor which is a must try! If in the area and need a place that’s clean and safe check them out.

Our room at the Acacia Boutique Hotel was adequate, but it was very dirty on our arrival. The floor had so much sand on it you wouldn't want to take your shoes off. The window latch next to the entry door was broken; the window wouldn't close tightly. Anyone could stick their hand through to unlock and open the door. That might be a good thing, because if you lost your old-fashioned room key (you get one), you would still be able to enter your room (a lost key is $75, so don't lose it). This room key also unlocks the outside door into the hotel, and you will need it if you go out in the evening because there is no one on the front desk after dark. Our air conditioner only worked on high, but our friends didn't work at all, so I should feel lucky. Take a shower early before other guests wake up if you want warm water. We stayed for three days, and never saw a housekeeper. Upon returning home, we found a mystery charge from the hotel for $78. We called the hotel desk to inquire what it was for and he told us he had a note that we had broken the coffee maker. No, we didn't even use it our whole stay. We are disputing the charge with our credit card company as I write this. You have been warned. I think they must be writing their own online reviews, because no way would they get more than one star.

I’m looking at the reviews, and I had a completely different experience. I was out in a small room on the third floor. I had no balcony. No warm water and even though I spent an entire day in the lobby waiting for someone to come to allow me to check in, no one said anything about a hot tub. I just got a key to the door. I stayed March 2024 for 1 night. The staff basically ignored me til check in. They tell you to put your suitcase under the stairs until then. I didn’t have a car or anywhere to go, so I sat in the air conditioned lobby after a guest let me in the locked lobby. Since there’s no elevator. I only took my carry on bag up and left my suitcase under the stairs for the night. It’s a cute place, but the lack of hot water and hospitality were pretty glaring.

I usually review on Yelp, and don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this hotel was so bad I had to come to Google reviews. We only stayed here for one night (thankfully). We arrived well early for check-in as our cruise arrived in the morning, but were ensured by the un-attentive front desk employee that we could get in our room by 2pm. We came back from the beach at 3pm and they looked at us like we had 4-heads when we asked if our room was ready. They simply just said “not ready.” At this point it’s been hours since we arrived, and it’s a small hotel. You would think they could prioritize cleaning a room when a customer is right there, especially since there aren’t that many rooms. The next time we came back and the front desk attendant was literally laying on the guest lobby couch with his feet up watching videos out loud on his phone for 30-45minutes, didn’t even acknowledge us. We finally got in our room at 4:30 (2.5hrs after promised) and the floors were filthy, and the room was comically small. Sand all over the place. If you walked around barefoot, your feet would be black. The TV didn’t work, one of the lamps was out, the picture frames were crooked and the TV was in front of a mirror on the wall? Just very weird, no attention to detail. The only redeeming thing about our stay was that it was near a beach so we could just hang out there while the staff did nothing to prepare our room. We would not recommend staying here, pick any of the other hotels in the area, just read the other reviews. This hotel stinks.

Hotel Miramar is a charming 3-star venue located in San Juan, offering bright rooms with sea views and a relaxed atmosphere. Situated near Condado Lagoon and the Puerto Rico Convention Center, it provides easy access to upscale residential districts like Miramar, Isla Grande, and Ocean Park. Despite some minor inconveniences such as limited hot water and slow wifi, guests appreciate the clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds.
Came for a no-frills and cheaper stay, and was very pleasantly surprised. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly, amicably conversed with me in both English and Spanish. Rooms were clean, lots of surfaces and space. Nice little workout area and laundry facilities on upper floors. None of the bells and whistles of a fancy expensive hotel but all of the substance, cleanliness, safety and responsiveness that’s critical. Loved it and would stay again.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at this hotel. While it was clean and the rooftop was a nice touch, that’s about where the positives end. The bathroom drain was a constant issue water backed up every single day of our 5-day stay, and it was never properly addressed. The front desk staff were unhelpful and unaccommodating. Nothing was brought to our room every request, whether for towels or ice (because the ice machine was broken), required us to go downstairs ourselves. Even then, we’d be told to wait around 20 minutes, which is completely unacceptable for basic guest needs. To top it all off, the in-shower toiletries shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all empty when we arrived. It took an unreasonable amount of time and multiple follow-ups just to get them refilled. This experience was frustrating from start to finish. Definitely not the level of service or comfort you’d expect from a hotel in this price range. Overall I would not come back to this hotel there are so many better ones in this area
Liz W — Google review
This hotel is a cutie patootie but it has a few years under its belt. The location was good in so far as there are about 7 restaurants within a block, plus a drug store and a supermarket. The service is a little iffy. For one not so warm and fuzzy person you have someone who is incredibly kind and helpful. The beds were comfortable. The furnishings were adequate. Handle in the shower was broken and the tub drink slowly but the complimentary toiletries smelled so good. The views from the rooftop though are absolutely amazing. They had an incredible amount of seating up there. A bonus was we were able to do laundry before we got on the cruise ship so we started off the cruise with all clean clothes.

First of, I'm giving it one star because it doesn't allow me to leave zero... To start, the hotel is not in a safe area; there are countless homeless people in the surrounding area and it's location is not a good one. The hotel also mentions that it has parking available, which is NOT true; the hotel does not have parking available. The alleged parking lot is an abandoned area full of garbage, with no security, no lighting, where homeless people come and go, and you are left to park there at your own risk. They have a supposedly private parking lot with a charge of $19 per night, which DOES NOT belong to the hotel, and they claim that they only have three parking spaces available, when clearly at the time of booking it indicates that it is not necessary to reserve the parking space in advance. In our booking, we paid for a room for three adults with a maximum capacity of four. Two of the people staying have vehicles, when I requested to pay for parking space for two vehicles, they told me that only one vehicle per room is allowed at the parking lot since they only have three parking spaces available. I also like to mention that they have extremely rude and unprofessional staff. It's obvious the front desk host is immature and inexperienced in the hospitality industry. She and her reception colleague were constantly laughing and mocking us. I recommend they effectively train their staff to be professional and treat guests well. In short, you get what you pay for. If you have the budget to stay at a nicer hotel, rule this one out immediately. That said, the hotel is very clean, and the rooms are extremely clean and smell good, if you're okay with not being in a safe area with little to no parking and rude staff, then choose this hotel.

I only used this for one night because i had an early flight. The airport is only 10 minutes away, I love the room, very clean, new carpet, bathroom clean n nice. Love the beds. Pillows are too small. The biggest problems i had were: there's a bright light outside on my bed windows, the curtains were too short, light was on the wall were on my bed head is. It kinda kept me up. It looks like it was already day light out. since it was for one night and wasn't planning on sleeping that night, I was kinda okay with it but if I was staying more nights there, i would change room or check out early, it was very annoying. No available power outlets, none by the bed, all were already occupied by the lamps, I had to unplug those lamps to use it (Room #201) Nice views on top, u can relax, I'm not sure if there's a swimming pool, I didn't see one. Nice location, everything is nearby, metro casino is 14 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. Good restaurant n bars nearby. There's a bar at the lobby, but it's closed. I think only wines are currently available there.

I recently stayed at Hotel Miramar in Puerto Rico, and it was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The noise from the air conditioning made it absolutely impossible to get any rest. We ended up sleeping with the AC turned off, suffering from the heat, and still had to use ANC headphones because we could hear the noise from other rooms' units. The bed was extremely old, and the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable. The entire place felt outdated, and every sound from other guests passing through the hallways was clearly audible. The atmosphere was far from cozy. The only positive aspect was that it was clean. Other than that, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
Hector F — Google review
The linens were prickly, making it difficult to fall asleep. I woke up gasping for air—the humidity from the AC and the dust in the carpet made the room damp and stuffy, triggering an asthma attack. I had to ask for soap and retrieve it from the lobby myself because the bathroom dispensers were empty. I paid nearly $200 for a 10-hour stay. The only perk was the location.

O:live Boutique Hotel is a luxurious and sophisticated hotel located in Condado, offering an upscale steakhouse and a rooftop bar with stunning lagoon views. Inspired by the 'Art de Vivre,' this Mediterranean-inspired boutique hotel aims to elevate love and provide a unique experience for couples seeking a romantic getaway. The design of the resort is influenced by travels to Morocco, Spain, Italy, and France, with every detail carefully curated to offer a relaxed and intimate atmosphere.
Absolutely loved our stay at O:live Boutique Hotel. The attention to detail in the design is stunning, every corner feels curated, romantic, and luxurious. The staff was warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home from check in to checkout. Armando and Tatiana made the experience exceptional. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking for a stylish, intimate escape in San Juan. Can’t wait to come back!

The atmosphere and service of the hotel was great, especially the rooftop restaurant. The room was not good at all. It was very small and the only surface available to rest your items was the nightstand. You also have zero privacy as the restroom is fully open to the room. You have to keep the room uncomfortably cold or there will be condensation/water EVERYWHERE, yet they neglect to share that with you. We were glad it was a free night on Hilton rewards and that we were only staying one night, as it was not a comfortable space whatsoever. It’s a great example of calling something “European style” to get away with offering no privacy, being tiny and inconvenient.
Rebecca K — Google review
At a rate of $700 per night, I anticipated a higher level of service and guest experience. In fact, I have experienced more comfort and attentiveness at mid-range properties such as Holiday Inn Express. While I understand the intention to create a romantic ambiance, I believe the reception area would benefit from brighter, more welcoming lighting, reserving the softer atmosphere for the guest rooms. In addition, having an AI system answer calls from the room comes across as impersonal and detracts from the overall sense of hospitality. At this price point, I would expect a more personal and guest-focused approach

Definitely not a boutique hotel. Door to bathroom toilet would not close (brought to attention of front desk twice -- once on first day, once on second). Terrible sound proofing (everything is tile -- nothing to absorb sounds). No closers on doors so you can hear all of the doors slamming/shutting. No hooks to hang towels. Very little bathroom shelf space. Positive: free waters every day (which you'd usually pay $1-$3 a bottle for in San Juan.
Scott S — Google review
Hotel left much to be desired. A/C in the room did not properly work. Shower leaked in to the room, other rooms leaked in as well. Loud noise until 5:30am. Broken glass from bottle was in the fridge. Walls were paper thin. Attendants were responsive but didn’t give the feel of a “Luxury hotel”. Not worth the money spent.

Playa Ocean Park, also known as Ocean Park Beach, is a popular destination in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Unlike other tourist spots, this beach offers a chance to interact with the locals on equal footing. It's located in an upscale neighborhood and is home to some of the city's cooler hotels. The area is beloved by locals and offers various water sports and physical activities such as volleyball, soccer, jet skiing, and windsurfing.
Decided to go nearer sunset times. The beach is very clean with no hawkers and no pushy sellers. Lively game of volleyball and maybe foot volley or handball. Some folks had music and was enjoying salsa dancing. Could tell by the waves that the current world be rough.

Playa Ocean Park in Puerto Rico is a slice of paradise that completely stole my heart. The beach is stunning. Soft golden sand, crystal-clear waters, and a relaxed, laid-back vibe that’s perfect for unwinding. I loved how versatile this spot is. Whether you’re into sunbathing, swimming, or even kite surfing, there’s something for everyone. Be careful though, water in Ocean Park is Rough. There is strong currents and to some degree it is dangerous. The surrounding area has a charming local feel, with small cafes and restaurants offering delicious Puerto Rican food and drinks. After a day at the beach, I stopped at a nearby spot for some fresh empanadas and a cold piña colada… pure bliss.

Nice beach where a lot of the locals go to. It’s clean , lots of parking , small amount of vendors but no one walking. Around trying to always sell you something. Pro tip- BEWARE -the beach has parts with lots of rocks on the shore and has deep drops from the shore line. Potential to get cut if you’re not careful is high.

This beach is very beautiful and the waters were quite calm and warm whenever I’ve gone. One day I saw a baby shark in the water which was super cool! The water is extremely clear which makes it easy to spot things like that. I like that people seem to hang out in the evenings too. It’s a nice little vibe here

We stayed at this hotel last week and through the weekend for the bad bunny concert. Rooms were great, location was good, and staff for the most part was good as well. We had one issue though. On the day of the concert, room service came in and grabbed bags off a table possibly mistaking it for trash. But we had left a bag of trash in the RR so we don't know why they would grab bags on a table that had groceries, food, and merch from the bad bunny experience. I immediately called when I noticed bags were gone, obviously after the concert at 1 am they were not going to know what happened, so they said the morning manager would contact me. I waited and no one called. I called again that evening and again was assured the manager would contact me. I have yet to hear from them. I am back home with no merch and still haven't heard back from anyone at the hotel. My advice, if you buy anything don't leave it out. I've never had issues with room service taking anything, so yes I guess I got to comfortable or maybe was too trust worthy to leave a bag of merch out, but staff had been great that I truly thought I was in a safe place. Hoping that they do call me back and get this resolved.

BEWARE OF SCAMS at this property by staff members. Our credit card was charged daily with bogus charges. After speaking to the front desk, they said it was an error and they had fixed it. It wasn’t fixed. They continue charging the credit card. Day 1 The shower had low pressure and there wasn’t hot water. The following morning we complained and the front desk was sending someone to fix. Went we got to the room late in the evening, it was the same. They changed our room. We spoke to the hotel manager the following morning about all the inconveniences and he told us that it would get fixed. He also told us and the staff that parking will be a compliment for all the inconvenience. During check out, I asked for the balance owed since it was prepaid and found out the parking was being charged. I reminded her that the hotel manager had given us the parking for free. She gave us a credit only to be double charged the next day. We called the hotel several times and left message for the front desk supervisor. SHE NEVER CALLED. NEVER CARED TO HELP US. SERVICE IS HORRENDOUS. Also, our room was cleaned one time of the 4 nights we stayed.

We are currently staying at the Hyatt in San Juan for a 3-day family vacation and unfortunately, our experience has been extremely disappointing. We arrived two days ago, excited for a relaxing stay, but instead, we’ve spent most of our time trying to get basic services taken care of, something I never expected from a hotel of this standard. After being out at the beach all day, we returned around 4 PM to find that our room hadn’t been cleaned at all. I tried calling the front desk multiple times, no answer. I went down to the lobby and spoke with someone who assured me the room would be taken care of. An hour later, nothing had changed. We were heading out for dinner and still had no clean towels. I ended up finding the housekeeping staff myself to ask directly for help. He agreed to clean the room and provide towels. We even spoke to the manager before heading to dinner, and again we were told it would be handled. We came back at 10 PM to the exact same messy room, dirty dishes still here, full garbage bins, no fresh towels, and no water. What was supposed to be a relaxing family vacation turned into me chasing down basic services and eventually cleaning up the room myself at 10:30 PM after a long day. I chose this hotel to take a break from daily responsibilities, not to continue doing the same things I do at home. This experience has been completely unacceptable and not at all what we expected from a Hyatt property. I hope the management team takes this seriously, because no guest should have to go through this while on vacation.

Great location. Perfect rooms. Breakfast included is below grade for a place like this.. it feels like a lower priced hotel Breakfast. But everything else is very good quality.
Ramseen E — Google review
Average area hotel. Not on the beach. No ocean view. They offer shuttle service every 30 minutes to multiple locations. It is much easier to use Uber service instead of waiting for the shuttle. Uber service is really fast in this area. Pool is being renovated and it’s relatively small and not too deep. No drink service or wait staff in the pool area. Breakfast is ok. Average breakfast.
Dmitry A — Google review
Currently staying here and service is horrible. The absolute worst and thankfully I’ve only had 1 bad experience when it comes to resorts and hotels and this tops it! This is the Hyatt but feels like the holiday inn. The phone doesn’t work and despite someone informing us that it must not be working, no initiative to replace it. So during our short stay, we have had to go down countless number of times for basic accommodations, like cleaning the room, taking out trash, replenish towels, and each time we requested they’d say they’d come but we would return to a room in the same way we left it. I know now The Hyatt chain is no better than The Red Roof chain or Holiday Inn. NEVER staying at any Hyatt hotel in my upcoming trips and family vacations.
Melissa Z — Google review
We really enjoyed our stay. We felt fairly safe walking around and could walk to multiple areas which is always nice. The shuttle was very convenient, especially so we didn’t have to deal with a car seat. Only problem was not knowing when it last arrived so we waiting for 40ish minutes with a toddler 🫠 staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant had decent options, some unique to PR, which was great for when we were super tired. The pool was also amazing for swimming with kids.

With a capacity of nearly 20,000 people, it hosts a variety of events including boxing matches, wrestling, UFC fights, rock concerts featuring both local and international talent.
We went for Bad Bunny’s concert on August 23rd. My friend needed wheelchair assistance which they were very accommodating in helping us get into the stadium and not only did they take her all the way up to her seat but they changed our tickets to help her and I sit together so I could assist her. The staff was all very professional, understanding, and very empathetic. I cannot thank them enough for their quality of service and care for my friend and I. Great place to visit and great hospitality. I’m proud to say I felt their hospitality and service, their care for us was top notch we felt super taken care of and thankful to them all!!!

I spent $2000 on VIP bad bunny tickets $300 on merch and 200 on food and drinks and it started out as a good night. Stadium staff was very nice and welcoming. Food was great and bad bunny was excellent! Unfortunately I had to go to rest room and as I was leaving security 779 ask where I was going and I stated to rest room. Once I returned security would not allow me to return the same way I left. So I followed security instructions on how to return to me seat. Once I made it to my section I was confronted by security 779. He was telling me I had to go different way even after another lady was allowed to return to her seat. Even after I showed him my ticket he refused to allow me to my seat. Even after his supervisor told him to let me go to my seat he still refused after putting his hands on me twice. Horrible experience and almost missed the very moment I paid so much money for. Thank you security 779!!

Don't hesitate to choose the Marriott hotel ! The room cleanliness was so famous, apparently even the local wildlife heard about it. I was honored to share my bed with a bedbug, which kindly followed me home. The lovely creatures kissed the skin of me and my 18 month baby. Moreover, their customer service team is incredibly diligent and absolutely flawless at what they do. I've reported this issue to them, and impressively, they never replied even once. What a nice attitude toward customers! I truly hope you too get to enjoy a magical vacation at this perfect hotel.

Perfect location for our short stay in San Juan. The service was excellent, including a charge dispute that was corrected without much fuss. The breakfast restaurant staff were incredible with our children and we truly appreciated their service. The beach and pool area were clean and had everything needed such as seating, umbrellas, etc. Being earplugs, the room noise was rough. With the ongoing construction and proximity to the airport, it was hard to get decent sleep. Overall a good experience.
Luis F — Google review
The hotel is very, very close to the airport which you’ll know by the sound of every plane leaving. It’s not really close to anything, off property restaurants are about 1/2 mile away. The property itself is very beautiful, rooms are decent. I had to ask multiple times and wait hours to get towels after housekeeping skipped our room. Most of the wait staff is good. The food is overpriced but is to be expected with a “resort” property. Other similar properties have spas and excursions, this one does not. You have to leave the property by Uber or taxi for pretty much anything other than the beach. Lastly, I am rating the property lower because there’s been two weddings so far, both with very loud music until midnight. Great for the wedding party, but not so much for the hotel guests. So, if nonstop, extremely loud airplane takeoffs and loud music all night your things, this is the place for you!

The employees of the hotel that remove the sheet was disgusted by it as well, construction, the pool bartenders were rude especially Anthony. A man and woman were so intoxicated, the bartenders failed to cut them off which lead to the man urinating in the bushes by the pool then the woman urinating on herself and then started cursing and fighting. The security was screaming at the customer. Long valet wait. I was supposed to stay a week but I left within 4 days. Advise check other hotel you will get more for a better price.... Another thing $18 dollar for a drink plus tax and $15 dollar for a sandwich, plus tax come on!!! This place is insane!!!!!!!!!!

Stayed here for a week. Location is quite good. Room was very musty and old. Renovations are in progress, but they seem to be only in the lobby area. You can hear the airplanes landing & taking off while you are at the beach. We could barely hear them from our room. Cleaning Service/Room Service was not good. We could see that they did not even vacuum sand off the carpet, did not clean the bathrooms and did not replace sheets, or refill the conditioner. You had to ask for it. We will not return to this location again. The Mobile Room Key does not work in the Elevators. Self-Parking was fine, but it is expensive at $25 per night. La Sirena restaurant in the hotel was good, Snack bar near the pool was good as well. Beach was clean. Front desk and restaurant staff were not very welcoming/courteous compared to other Marriott properties we stayed in. The only exception was Fernando at the towel station who always greeted us with a smile. Lois at the Valet Parking station was quite helpful as well.

The facility was nice and clean, and the beach access was amazing with beautiful views. It was a little disappointing that the pool and beach access closes down at 6:00 p.m. It would be nice if they allowed later hours. The food onsite was terrible and overpriced so plan your meals accordingly. The fitness room could definitely use some upgrades, the ceiling-mounted TVs block the gorgeous ocean view. Also, while the location is very close to the airport which is convenient, it does mean frequent airplane noise, which can be a bit disruptive.
Sarah G — Google review
Me and my family stayed at the Isla Verde courtyard the last week in July. The construction at the hotel was slightly disruptive. The location of the beach were absolutely perfect. The best part of our stay was the swim up pool bartender Pedro, after having a couple of rude comments from the bartender Christine at the outside restaurant bar, we decided to switch to the swim up bar and were greeted by a extremely happy, outgoing, professional bartender named Pedro. He made us stay even much better, highly recommend skipping the restaurant bar going right to the swim bar. Much more fun.

Airport
Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport in San Juan is conveniently located near the Pan American Pier, making it a popular choice for cruise passengers. The airport is small and easily navigable, with everything within walking distance. Travelers flying to the United States should allow time for their bags to go through USDA checks at the airport. During COVID times, travelers need to fill out an online form before exiting the airport or spend time filling it out there.
It is one of the cleanest smallest most friendliest airports that you will ever go to! Clean bathrooms. Small stores. Tons of delicious foods duty-free giggity say less love this place. Love Puerto Rico my home away from home!
Wanda L — Google review
Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport is a solid and convenient gateway to Puerto Rico. The terminals are fairly easy to navigate, with clear signage in both Spanish and English. Security lines moved quickly during my visit, and the staff were professional and welcoming. There’s a good variety of dining and shopping options after security, offering everything from local Puerto Rican flavors to familiar brands. One downside: there aren’t any water bottle refilling stations, so plan ahead if you usually travel with a reusable bottle. Also, a heads up for travelers — you cannot bring pork products back to the mainland United States from Puerto Rico, and the airport has agricultural inspections to enforce this. The airport is generally clean and modern, though some areas could use a little refreshing. Transportation into San Juan is simple, with taxis and rideshares easy to find. Overall, it’s a positive experience and a smooth way to start or end your Puerto Rican adventure!

Arriving at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport was a good experience. The airport was clean, organized, and easy to get around. Signs for baggage claim and transportation were clear. My luggage came out quickly, and the whole process was smooth from landing to exit. A nice first impression of Puerto Rico!!

A very beautiful, not-too-huge airport; you can't get lost. Everything is self-explanatory; you can easily navigate from Terminal A to Terminal C. Car rentals are right across the street, making everything simple and easy to maneuver.
DraMatik G — Google review
They need to fix a lot of things! Starting with the fact that they don't have many places to charge electronics (which should be the case at the entire airport!) The few light switches there are, mostly only like 1 or 2 work and aren't properly covered! TSA PRE CHECK AND CLEAR ARE IN THE SAME LINE AS THE REGULAR LINES! It shouldn't be like this, that's what we pay so much for! The staff is a bit rude, the waiting seats are very uncomfortable! Hard! Lots of work to do, PR.
Robii M — Google review
Easy airport love the vendors they have and the new decoration with all the singers artists looks great 😊
Chico W — Google review
Nice airport with nice staff! The restroom I used was pretty clean. I wish there were more restrooms and more restaurants. No real complaints. The place was clean and simple to figure out especially considering Atlanta is our home airport. The signs leading into the airport for rental return was a little confusing but we figured it out. Make sure you do your USDA inspection before getting in the TSA line or checking bags. Also they do not allow you to check bags more than about 2hrs before your flight (at least our airline didn’t). The airport is busy but small and there aren’t many waiting or sitting areas. I’m not sure if you can go through TSA more than 2hrs before your departure if you don’t have a checked bag but just things to know before hand.

Additionally, the hotel is pet-friendly and provides amenities such as dog walking, pet sitting, and grooming services.
we cannot rave enough about this place. The location is the most convenient on the island and yet once on campus of the hotel you feel like you've escaped to an oasis of peace and tranquility. The outdoor areas and beach access are lovely; the rooms are calming and grounding. Daily AM amd PM walks on the beach couldnt be easier. Toiletries are L'Occitane-- no need to bring your own; actual quality! I have an injured back and it's so hard to find good hotel beds. I slept like a ROCK. The breakfast area and restaurants had amazing dishes every day and the night scene at the on-site bars/restaurants has great vibes/music. None of this compares though to the quality of staff. Every. single. staff member was charming, personable, polite, and made you feel at home. This experience at the Aire made an already great trip absolutely wonderful. Thank you to everyone. Nos vemos pronto!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough!! The location is right on the beach and the area around it is full of delicious food spots and gorgeous views. The service is outstanding everyone is so kind and very attentive! Vicky, who works at the reception desk, is amazing!! Upon arrival we told her it was our honeymoon and she made sure to make our first day of our trip unforgettable! She upgraded our room and brought us a tray of fresh rose petals, balloons, chocolate covered strawberries, and champagne all complimentary. We WILL be staying here again, and thank you so much to Vicky and all the other staff for making our honeymoon everything we wanted it to be and more!!

I was so impressed by this hotel. It was clean , it smelled amazing, it was well designed. The staff was very friendly and accomidating. Theu also responded quickly when I txted them laat minute if i could extwnd my stay. The restaurants were delicious and the pool area on the 2nd floor was great too! The pool on the rooftop is smaller than I had expected but i was not bothered by this as the views were still beautiful! They have chair and Umbrella and drink/food service on the beach which is across the street from the hotel. Its not really a street as cars are not passing thru. Its more of a driveway. The rooms were newly renovated and the beds and pillows were very comfortable! If I could buy the pillows I would. They offer filtered water on every floor and a carafe in your room to refill. Overall I had an amazing experience and would definitely go back!

Amazing experience at Hotel Aire de Olive! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. A special shoutout to Ryan, who coordinated a room booking for 15+ people in less than a week, and he did it seamlessly! The level of care and attention made it feel like we were staying at a five-star hotel. The rooftop restaurant is stunning, with incredible food and views, and the beach is literally right in front of the hotel, making it so convenient to enjoy the sun and sand. Every detail of our stay was handled with care and professionalism. 10/10 – I would recommend this hotel to everyone without hesitation. Can’t wait to come back!

I stayed at this hotel to celebrate my birthday, and it was an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming and professional, but I especially want to highlight Vicky at the front desk. She was incredibly kind, always smiling, and even wished me a happy birthday, which made my day feel extra special. The hotel is in a perfect location, just a short walk from the beach and close to great restaurants and local spots. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. Thanks to the wonderful service, especially from Vicky, she was the besttt!! I had an unforgettable birthday stay in Puerto Rico. I’d definitely come back!

Aire De Olive was amazing! The front desk staff were super friendly, the rooms were clean and nicely set up, the pools were nice, and the Kumo restaurant was so delicious. Definitely recommend! Specifically Daly from the front desk was super helpful and really helped make our honeymoon stay memorable. Also our maid, Josefina, cleaned our room and made sure we had everything we needed before we had to ask. Daly and Josefina went above and beyond to make our stay great, and it was much appreciated! Highly recommend! Only possible negative thing I could mention would be the prices of everything like food and drinks, but that’s how most of Puerto Rico is.
Daniel H — Google review
Had an amazing stay for our honeymoon. Room and aesthetic was stunning. We had amazing experiences with Daly from guest services and Josephina from room service. We would highly recommend to stay here and we would love to be back. I have only one complaint that while there is a room for Pilates, their actual gym for guests is in the basement but doesn’t have a ton of equipment and is small. As a person who workouts 5-6 days a week, it wasn’t ideal. Everything else was 10/10. Hope this helps!

I did a lot of research and this was the best of the best. Pre and (almost) post stay. Very centrally located - $10 Uber to pretty much anywhere on the North side of the island. Right on the beach. Plenty of amenities so you never have to leave the hotel, though we did plenty. And a very friendly and attentive staff. Vicky checked us in and got us all set up, she was truly amazing. Everyone made sure we had a wonderful time in this truly beautiful place.

I really liked the central location of this hotel. It isn’t anything fancy and the rooms were outdated. If you plan on spending your days exploring the island and your nights on the town, it’s a good option. They offer valet for a daily rate of around $20/day. The valet employees Roy and Emmanual were super nice, friendly, and opened the car doors each time we arrived and departed. They made us feel welcomed especially after long days/nights and coming and going in the rain. Room service was very attentive to our needs. The restaurant in the lobby was a hidden gem with lovely ambiance, delicious drinks and food. We received a room credit of $17/day which was to be used at their convenience store in the lobby. Overall, it was a good experience, but I would probably not stay here again as I prefer a more luxurious experience.

I only book at the Marriott for the past 30 years. This was the worst, I would never expect this from the Marriott im still itching and we slept in our cloths. Got there at 3am and left at 7am couldn't wait to get to Rincon. Sorry to the staff that works there as they were nice but the room was not up to normal standards.

The air conditioner is amazing!!! It works the best.. room is decent and clean. Nothing crazy about this hotel that's spectacular. But it's good and clean also a little restaurant called Comedor attached to it. Unlimited mimosa for 2 hours with a main entree. They will charge to the room but you will not get credit towards Marriot Bonvoy

We are in a suite but all suites are next to the elevator. So you will hear that all day and night. Rooms are clean and very helpful staff. Feel safe here.

I wasn’t a huge fan of this hotel. Only one elevator makes things difficult with some long waits to get up to our room; this was the most frustrating part. The staff members were friendly and knowledgeable.

Last year my wife and I had a terrible experience with an Airbnb property located at ESJ Towers located in Isla verde. The rooms at the property contained mold at various locations. I immediately contacted the owner for a refund. Upon receiving our refund my wife and i desperately began searching for a hotel room to no avail. We decided to drive to San Juan and found this location. We explained the situation to the supervisor in which he accommodated us in getting a room at 2am in the morning. We are so grateful for the supervisor “Francisco Javier Ruiz” and also “Saul Cruz” for their exceptional professionalism and compassion. Thank you so much guys. I will never forget. Gracias,

Watersports 4U is a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The area has seen rapid growth in windsurfing activities since hosting the windsurfing World Cup in 1989. Visitors can explore various beaches such as Ocean Park, Isla Verde, Playa Crash Boat, and Jobos for different levels of experience. Beginners can enjoy calmer waters at El Conquistador, La Parguera, and Boqueron.
Exceptional experience for myself and the kids 600 feet in the air but you can see the sea turtles swimming and oh the view.. paid for the picture package still haven’t received it The lady at the check in booth on the beach did not seem interested in making us feel welcomed or appreciated or she may have been having a bad day? Not friendly or hospitable which surprised me? Bought tickets in advance prices at the desk were much much lower? We had a blast despite the rough start. Excellent experience!!

We had the most amazing day touring Puerto Rico with Luis! He took us to see waterfalls and beaches, taught us a ton about the island’s history and what it has to offer, and made sure we knew that it was our day to explore and we could take as much time as we wanted in each place. Luis was friendly, knowledgeable, and very easy to contact and make travel arrangements with for the tour! We cannot recommend this experience enough.

I did the Parasail. It was fun and the beautiful view of the beach with the turquoise water and hotels. Loved it. I had a awesome time with my son ,and my fiancé. I really recommend to do this if coming to visit family and friends or for vacation.

Fun experience but the pictures came out HORRIBLY. We paid $45 for a “picture package” which included 6 pictures and a 15 second video taken from a GoPro. I got better pictures in the sky from my iPhone. You can’t even see the parachute behind us. We just look like we’re floating in the air above the ocean. You cannot take photos on the boat without the picture package. Bring a waterproof phone case and save money on the pictures.

I had an incredible time parasailing with Kenny and his crew at Watersports4U! From the moment we arrived, the team made everything easy and fun. Kenny was super friendly and professional, Safety was clearly a top priority, but they still managed to make it feel like an exciting adventure. The parasailing itself was breathtaking – soaring over the water with a bird’s-eye view of the coastline was surreal. The crew was experienced and made sure we were comfortable and relaxed the entire time. It was a smooth, exhilarating ride that left me wanting more. What stood out most was how personal and attentive the service was. Kenny and his team really go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a blast. I would definitely recommend Watersports4U to anyone looking for a memorable watersport experience.

We jumped through hoops to be early, have all signed documents completed and the ONE boat is broken. No plan B with a backup boat. This was the ONLY water activity we wanted to do and had to drive 3-hours to the East Coast PR (from the West Coast Rincón). This really stinks. We DO NOT recommend a company that only relies on one boat for a parasailing excursion. Very disappointed and will not try their other advertised activities. I hope you can truly feel our disappointment.

Great experience. Friendly fun staff. We walked up to the tent at the beach and booked our parasailing experience. The process was quick and easy. The guys at the boat were also very friendly. Soaring above the beach in isla verde was very calm and relaxing. 100% recommend and will do it again

Dream Inn PR is a charming boutique hotel that offers a delightful blend of comfort and convenience. Nestled just a short stroll from Barbosa Park and the stunning Ocean Park Beach, this gem features an inviting outdoor pool, a serene koi pond, and an enchanting indoor fountain. Guests rave about the rooftop terrace where breathtaking city views can be enjoyed while lounging in style. The rooms are cozy with modern amenities like air conditioning, TVs, and iPod docks to enhance your stay.
Dream Inn!!! You are so very enchanting. My man found you after extensive research for our trip to PR. I subsequently read and combed through the reviews to find countless rave remarks! It is no mistake that so many people wrote what they wrote. I would write multiple reviews. So many if I could. The hospitality from the start—impeccable. The kindness, the sweetness—they were soooo chill and understanding after not one but TWO late night mixups on our part involving the night entrance! Room cleanliness and orderliness was perfect, you’ll see!! We would return to our room after each excursion to find it cleaned and the sheets and towels replaced. Every detail matters, and those at Dream Inn know it. The room features a fridge that is well-stocked and the prices are fair and kind!!! One is welcomed in each room with a bottle of red wine and beautiful red wine glasses. How can you go wrong? There is a sweet little coffee pot in the lobby that always seems ready to brew. There are multiple delicious offerings for milk. There is filtered water (both hot and cold). The lobby is also consistently filled with the soothing aroma of incense, strategically placed in the most ideal location to provide the exact perfect scent experience. The pool is so sweet and lovely. One might consider it small, but that person does not happen to be one of us! One can swim laps in it. The staff provides sunscreen, bug spray, towels for the beach and pool. Every staff member is kind, friendly, and helpful. They even have lovely postcards featuring the hotel. They said “take as many as you like!” And then told me that I could fill them out and return them to the front desk to be sent out at no charge! As in, they would provide postage!!! What?!!?? What a place! We WILL be back to PR and without a doubt Dream Inn is number one on our list. The location cannot be beat! So close to the ocean, but not TOO CLOSE, if you know what I mean. I honestly wish I could just visit Dream Inn every day, but sadly that would be quite difficult for me to accomplish. Love you, Dream Inn!! Thank you!

We picked this place to stay the night before our cruise because of the good reviews - and yes they are true! We had an amazing stay. The rooms are spacious and sparkling clean. We absolutely adored our stay at the Dream Inn for our honeymoon! The owners and staff were so helpful and accommodating, and provided us with excellent local recommendations. They have partnerships with some local restaurants for a guest discount, which was a nice bonus. Our room was lovely and very clean. This may actually have been the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in; we saw the cleaning crew cleaning and dusting constantly during the day. The hotel itself is very well maintained and updated also. We loved that we were able to open the windows in our room as well to let in the ocean breeze! There is a beautiful beach just a 5 minute walk away, and the hotel offers chairs and coolers for rent. We were provided with beach towels in our room as well. The sunscreen and bug spray in the lobby came in handy too! Oh, and don't forget to visit the pool & rooftop deck. So relaxing and the view was incredible! We can't wait to come back again!

Really nice hotel—super clean with great staff, very friendly and helpful. Parking is limited, but most of the time you’ll find a spot right in front. If you’re staying over the weekend, rooms facing the street can get a bit loud, but honestly, if you’re in Puerto Rico on a weekend, you should be out there making some noise too! 😊 if this could be an issue for you ask for a room that is not facing the front. I have stayed there twice and will definitely stay again.
Reinaldo M — Google review
We stayed here the night before our cruise and it was phenomenal. The staff were really nice and gave good recommendations for food and drink nearby. They also let us store our luggage there after we checked out because we couldn’t board the cruise until 4.
Chloe P — Google review
My wife and I had a wonderful stay. Everything there is done so well. The place is really charming. The rooms are adequately size, very clean, nicely appointed, and comfortable. The staff were phenomenal, all of them. Jorge was particularly knowledgeable and informative, as was Chris. They work incredibly hard to be accommodating and friendly. The entire place has a bit of a Zen vibe. Overall, it is a lot of fun. If you want a quiet, relaxing stay in a smaller, charming hotel in a good location, look no further. Kasalta, a famous bakery/eatery, is half a block away. And although not visible or on the main street, a Walgreen's is just 2-3 blocks away. The italian restaurant next to Kasalta serves some amazing food as well. A new favorite in PR and wonderful alternative to the typical, impersonal large hotel.

Really lovely hotel in Ocean Park. We stayed two nights in between Airbnbs. The hotel feels very private, felt like just the two of us! There is a small pool and beautiful rooftop. The staff was very kind and accomodating, they were able to hold our luggage for us before and after check in/check out. We also got a free room upgrade which was a plus! The rooms were very clean and the bed/pillows were insanely comfortable. Very close to the beach with some free beach amenities, chairs and umbrellas have a one time fee for ur stay- if we stayed longer, we likely would’ve paid! Also close to restaurants and Calle Loíza- Highly recommend.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Old San Juan, Hotel Palacio Provincial is a stunning adults-only retreat that beautifully marries historic elegance with contemporary flair. Opened in January 2021 by the same group behind El Convento, this boutique hotel occupies a two-century-old building that once served as a diplomatic office. Guests can enjoy airy accommodations adorned with charming architectural features like wooden beams and Juliette balconies, all while basking in natural light from large windows.
My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and loved it! The staff is very friendly and warm. When we arrived one of the front desk staff noticed that we were staying for our honeymoon and we came back to our room to a surprise complimentary bottle of champagne. We both thought it was a really nice gesture from guest services. Also, we loved the location! It was walking distance from mostly everything we wanted to do. The views of old San Juan from the rooftop pool and bar are amazing. We also want to thank the staff Carla, Keanna, and Aaron from the Consular for their attentiveness and professionalism! We had a very comfortable stay at the Hilton in Old San Juan. The location couldn’t be more convenient — right in the heart of the historic district, making it easy to walk to restaurants, shops, and all the sights. The staff truly stood out; they were warm, attentive, and always willing to help with anything I needed. The hotel itself is well-kept, clean, and welcoming, which made the whole experience relaxing and enjoyable. A great choice if you’re looking for both comfort and convenience while exploring Old San Juan.

The Hotel Palacio Provincial was a beautiful place to stay in San Juan! We took an Uber from the airport and were able to get out luggage through the cobblestone and into the building.. the bellman took over from there! We enjoyed both the restaurant and food top bar. Service and food/ drinks were excellent. If we had not experienced the flies in our suite at sunset, it would have been perfect! Despite that, we would still stay there again. We had a great experience!

Absolutely the best place to stay in a prime location of Old San Juan. * The staff here is what makes the entire experience. ALL of the front desk staff and the servers at breakfast were absolutely wonderful! I could not have been treated better, thank you so much. The room was spectacular, with high ceilings, a gorgeous bathroom, and an extremely comfortable and well made bed. If you are a Hilton Honors member then you know not all properties live up to the name. This one does. Also, my room had huge windows with spectacular morning sun There is a great roof top patio and bar with a small pool and a stunning sunset. Again, The server (Attiana) was very attentive and extremely nice. It is an adult only property and genteel is the word. Open air with the charming quality of old San Juan with modern finishes made for an all around wonderful experience. I cannot wait to return! Thank you.

This hotel was amazing! Expensive, but worth the money. Warm and caring service from all the staff, delicious food, great room, and perfect location. Only 10 minutes walk to the fortress, and 7 minutes the other way down to the fast ferry (for the Bacardi excursion) and the cruise ship. The best thing about the hotel was the rooftop terrace, a beautiful place with a lovely pool. We would love to come back here!

The rooms are clean, it's quiet, it's air conditioned, and the service is great. It's literally in the middle of Old San Juan. We arrived at t 10:30m, checked in. Walked Old San Juan the next day, checked out. For the price and what we prefer, I would recommend this place.

The location is very good as it is situated in old San Juan and walking distance to main attractions. The room is clean and we had a window that you could see the top of the rooftops but it had plenty of sunlight. There is NO safe. The furniture and carpet is old and dated, but the AC works well. The elevator had 1 incident because the power was cut and the elevator was not running one day. Finally there is no breakfast and no one came to ask if we wanted our room cleaned. Maybe we had to ask for fresh towels and have our bed made. Around the corner is a good restaurant for breakfast and lunch and it is called Manolin. Opens 7am and closes around 4pm.

I didn’t have the best experience here. The owner tried to accuse my partner of smoking weed in the room. My partner is in cancer treatment and will smoke to relieve pain. They only smoked outside on the day that we checked out. The owner smelled it on her clothes and accused us of smoking inside the room. Mind you I don’t even smoke at all! I felt like in that moment he tried to typecast us and scam me out of money. On to the room. The majority of rooms do not have windows so beware if you’re claustrophobic. The bed isn’t the most comfy but it’s to be expected in a budget hotel. The carpets need to be changed as they do reek of mildew. The toiletries could be better so walk with your own. This is good for an overnight stay but I definitely would not stay longer than that. The best thing about this hotel is the location. It’s in the middle of everything so very walkable to restaurants and shops.

Great location in the center of it all, close to where you want to be: bars, restaurants, clubs, shops, entertainment. Clean and comfortable rooms, although our room had no windows! The cruisers were very noisy Saturday night; things were much more quiet Sunday night. Coffee provided in the lobby. Mini fridge in the room, microwave in the lobby.

Great stay at SJ Suites! Rooms and bathroom were clean. The location is excellent to explore Old San Juan. You are at a 2 minutes walk for places to have breakfast (Cafe Manolin and Chocobar) and many other places to have lunch and dinner. The personnel is very welcoming and friendly. Will stay again!

Horrible experience. Got to the hotel and nobody was in the reception; we got told to wait there by a cleaning lady, because the man who should be there working was out to get food. After 50 minutes a man finally shows up. The same afternoon the man randomly opens the door of our room by mistake while we were there with no warning or reason. As for the room, it is ice cold since the AC is constantly turned on, thin walls also mean that you can hear noises from outside the room. Overall very bad.

Close enough to Pier 4 that you can walk. Room was good for the one night I needed. Just wish I could control the A/C

You know how you’re supposed to take every review with a grain of salt? Please hear me when I say this place right here was perfect. I went to Puerto Rico for a solo trip, and Verde DW truly felt like home. The unit was beautifully designed, the neighborhood was incredibly quiet, and the whole space gave off such a peaceful energy that made it hard to leave. The outdoor shower? 10/10 — an absolute dream. Even when I stopped by the Dreamers Welcome Hotel, the whole vibe was immaculate — it smelled amazing, the staff was so kind, and I instantly felt relaxed. I Ubered everywhere, but there was so much street parking right in front of Verde or on the side if you’re driving. I’m such a fan and genuinely can’t stop talking about this place. I’ve been eyeing their other units for my next trip — Verde DW made my solo trip unforgettable, and I can’t wait to come back!

I don’t know where to begin because every aspect of my stay was top tier!!! I booked for my girlfriend birthday celebration and it definitely exceeded expectations. Pics and video don’t do it justice. The design and layout felt like I was in an architectural design magazine showcase. The outdoor shower was my favorite and added a different vibe you can’t get from the local hotel scene. Plus the secret room was a bonus!!! Service from booking to checkout was consistent and friendly. Anything I needed during my stay was only a phone call or text away. Location was what we wanted, to be with the locals. Very peaceful and parking was no problem. As a travel agent I am going to definitely recommend to my clients and for any future stays in PR Dreamers Welcome will be my go to!

This place was outstanding and true to its photos! Booking and communication were seamless, with clear, detailed instructions. The location is perfect—close to Old San Juan, the airport, and nearby beaches, in a safe neighborhood. The highlight was the room itself: the unique outdoor shower was stunning, and the house’s decor and amenities were top-notch. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, down to a delightful surprise upon arrival. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at verde #3. It is in a quiet neighborhood with plenty of places in walking distance and is a quick drive to Condado, old San Juan, the airport or the highways out of town. Each detail of the design was beautifully selected and we loved the charm and feel of the place. The bed is big and so comfortable. The little patio is nice but PR is humid and the patio gets strong direct sunlight. The room gets a lot of sunlight as well which we loved. We rented a car and had no issues finding parking on the street nearby.

Right in the heart of Isla Verde and such an incredible rental. We stayed in Unit 4, and everything was so spacious and clean. You can really tell all of the care and thought that goes into each piece in the rental, the direction of the light, and the comfort for the guests. We had everything we needed- full kitchenette and complimentary coffee (: Super conveniently located near cafes, beach, pharmacy, etc. Was a treat also being able to go to the Dreamer's hotel in the morning for a vegetarian breakfast- and they were able to accommodate gluten free if you need it. All of the staff that we interacted with were great. If you're planning a trip to PR I highly recommend making this your main hub! We rented a car and there was always street parking right outside- easy. Wish I could give a 6th star for finally finding a rental with a firm mattress- thank you for everything we will definitely return on our next trip!

This stay was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the beautiful aesthetics and the thoughtful attention to detail in every corner of the space. It was clear that a lot of care went into creating not just a stylish environment, but one that offered true comfort and warmth. The host was equally outstanding — responsive, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Any questions or small requests we had were met with immediate and helpful replies, which made us feel truly looked after throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would happily return or recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

My wife and I stayed here on two separate occasions during our last trip to PR: unit #4 and unit #3. Unit #4 was great! Would not change a single thing about it. Unit #3, however, wasn’t our favorite. There seemed to be problems with the water heater, as we hardly had any for showers. The unit below, with the outdoor shower, seems to be for groups so you can expect noise/music. I had to message Verde, as the people staying there were partying until almost 3AM. Overall, I would highly recommend unit #4.

The Ocean View Deluxe Suite: Pvt. Beach & Pool in San Juan is a centrally located aparthotel offering a comfortable and inviting stay. The 11th story suite provides amazing views of the ocean and cityscape, with easy access to the beach and nearby restaurants. The staff is welcoming and helpful, and the facilities are well-maintained. While the pool was under construction during some stays, guests appreciated the private beach entrance and convenient parking.
My family stayed here during spring break. The view was amazing - 11th story view of the ocean, with cityscape off to the left. An easy walk outside just steps to the beach. Fabulous location in Isla Verde, with many restaurants walkable, about a half hour drive to Old San Juan or to El Yunque, and less than 10 minutes to the airport. Parking was included. Beds were very comfortable, as was the entire apartment- very clean, warm and inviting. Please note, pool was under construction.

While this is a great location, we booked a 2 bedroom that would be furnished beautifully, uncarpeted, with a beach view. INstead, the apartment had absolutely filthy rugs in the bedroom, hard mattresses and pillows. We were never offered a WiFi password and TV was at a minimum. Horrible stay. I had to place a towel on the carpet to walk on it overnight as it was so very dirty. Closet doors were broken so we couldn't hang our things. Would not recommend!

My sister and I just left this property and we loved everything about it! Clean room, direct beachfront (pool is under construction right now), safe area to walk, great amenities, reasonable rate too! Highly recommend and the communication is wonderful ❤️ these are the views from the balcony

Was a good studio for an Airbnb type of rentals. Location was great and the view exceptional. I specifically books for those reasons plus the amenities like kitchen and fridge.

Amazing Stay. The place is very centrally located, close to everything (supermarkets, restaurants,etc.). It has its own lrivate beach entrance. The staff is very helpful, very nice and welcoming. The facilitoes are very nice. The views are spectacular durong the day as well as at night. It has private parking spaces, so you will not have to worry about it. I would definitely visit again. Btw. It is right next to the historic San Juan Hotel. Gives it an extra point for that. Haha

I have been dealing with booking.com for two days with a reservation to this property. Booking.com has been nothing but a head ache. I spoke with Isaac from this property and he was so HELFUL and professional in helping booking my stay here in August. I am looking forward to my trip with family and will be sure to post photos and reviews when I return! THANK YOU!!!
