Stopped in at Bean Coffeehouse in Sarasota and really enjoyed it. The coffee was smooth and full of flavor, probably one of the better cups I’ve had in a while. The vibe inside is super chill and cozy, perfect for hanging out or getting some work done. The staff was friendly and easy to talk to, which always makes a big difference. We grabbed a couple pastries too, and they were fresh and tasty. Just a solid local spot with great coffee and a relaxed atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!

Atmosphere and decorations were cute and the drinks and food were good, but the customer service wasn’t the greatest. The employees came off as rude and dry, and had bad attitudes. I know that you don’t always know what people are going through, but i don’t find that to be an excuse for being unpleasant to your customers. Everything else was good though!

Super chill little place with a very extensive menu. House made syrups and a variety of fresh blended frozen drinks round out the beverage menu. They had a limited but unique selection of breakfast/lunch items as well. Delicious coffee/espresso, fast yet laid back service, and a nice relaxed atmosphere. **Location of one of the only ATMs in Siesta Key is just outside**

Good service. Got a mint mocha for a family member. Did not like the espresso - was similar to or worse than Starbucks espresso (which this person does not care for, unless the blonde espresso.) Took 4-5 sips and didn’t finish the rest. I drank some and agreed.

This is our favorite ( and only) coffee house we visit when we are in Siesta Key. Delicious coffee, lattes, bacon and egg sandwiches,& muffins. We love sitting outside- I highly recommend the Bean

In my opinion the BEST coffee shop I’ve been to. The atmosphere is amazing and relaxing, the coffee is smooth and flavorful and the bowls are delicious. My favorites are the iced North Shore coffee and the iced lavender rooibos tea, plus a bag of beans for when I can’t go to Mojo’s in person.The staff is friendly and seem to enjoy their job. I think it would be a great place to work. They have all been very pleasant. I always look forward to a stop at Mojo Risin paired with a walk through the village to sip my coffee beachside.

I cannot believe it has taken me this long to share a review about my favorite place. Mojo is not only the best place to get coffee on Sieta Key but they serve the BEST espresso martini you will ever have....trust me I have tried alot! There is no one better than Nicole to serve you this magnificent drink. I do not know her secret but they are perfection every time you order. Nicole should teach a master class! Everyone who works there is friendly and kind and just wants you to truly have a wonderful day. They are only open till 5 so yes its about day drinking but if you love espresso martinis you must visit Nicole at Mojo. I order mine with no Baileys and ask her to pour it with all the dirty ice. I promise you will not be disappointed.

My fave coffee shop. They make the best hazelnut coconut almond latte. Their basic coffee is yummy too! Don't miss out on this gem! They have lots of options to choose from! Also their empanadas are tasty but they are small, so grab two per person. They are also dog friendly!

Mojo Risin’ Coffee Co. has a really cute, charming vibe. They offer a cool variety of lattes, but honestly most of them taste the same. I tried the Monkey Mocha latte and couldn’t taste any banana—just espresso and milk. The same went for the Salted Maple latte, which might be better hot, but overall the drinks felt pretty mid. They definitely have potential. They allow dogs inside and seem pretty laid-back, which is great for folks on the go with their pups!

Came after eating at Gilligan’s. Almost walked past, glad I didn’t. I order double espressos and black coffee usually in every city I am in. I was not disappointed. The espresso was bold with a nice rich flavor. The coffee was a nice dark roast. I did not think it was pricey as I believe my tab was around 6$ for my drinks- espresso and black coffee. The space has a nice ambiance and the staff wasn’t that friendly. Good coffee at a good price.

The food was great! Warning the cinnamon roll is the size of a soft ball and delicious and get the biscuit grilled with honey! Wonderful service too!

Stopped here while visiting on vacation. Was intrigued by it being all organic, everything made from scratch and no artificial flavors. I got the teachers coffee, wife got dulce de leche, both sons got vanilla. We all absolutely loved it. This was the best treat/dessert we had in our week long stay here. Business is clean and the staff was very nice. I am going to miss this place. This is truly worth going to and checking out. You will not be disappointed.

Best Gelato in Siesta Key. Let me start by saying that this is by far, and I mean it, the best gelato in all of the Florida area. I tried the Dulce de leche gelato and the pistachio, and I have to say that it melted in my mouth like butter. Wow. Such a tasty gelato, all made with natural ingredients from Italy itself. You can tell that the products are of the highest quality. I know there are other ice cream places around, but I can guarantee, that NONE are like this one. Worth every penny and worth the drive. I went straight there and don’t regret the amazing experience. I highly recommend.

Best gelato I have ever had! The owner was the nicest person, and she gave us a lot of history about how the gelato is made and where she gets her products from (all imported from Italy), so you get a taste of Italy in the US! My family and I could not stay away and got gelato every day while we were down in Florida for vacation! 100000/10 recommend!

I used to like this place, but it seems to have gone downhill. The gelato used to be more solid, but now is very soft. I think the taste has changed, too. It's not a flavorful as it used to be. Not that it was a strong flavor before, but it used to taste exactly like the description. Not anymore. A bathroom or sink to wash hands would be nice, but I guess we'll just settle for napkins.

Ice cream is good. But not sure if you guys realize that putting skeletons, bats, making a hell is not really friendly. Not to adults or children. When are you guys offering a place to rest, and enjoy, why can’t you offer a restroom. Usually hands are dirty after or when ice cream drop, especially with kids. Prices went up at least double in the last few years, but service not. Hope you see this and a change comes soon. Ice cream and no restrooms, that’s is a joke. No coming in October.

Went twice in one week, the first time we went the gelato was absolutely delicious, creamy and tasted just like gelato in Europe. The second time we went there was a notable difference, less creamy and more icey. I am giving 5 stars because the first day was delicious but they need to work on consistency.

My son introduced me to this cafe a few years ago. My sister was in town and we are both vegetarian and I knew she would love it. Food is unique and healthy and delicious! Sandwiches and side salads are very good size portions. The iced berry tea and the skittles pressed juice were fresh and fantastic. They also have a variety of daily specials. We enjoyed it so much we ate there three days in a row!!

I love Simon’s! I’ve been going for years and the food is always amazing! I always go for any vegan specials and the soups are always delicious and unique! I also never leave without a dessert for later! Such a great variety of vegan, gluten free and other items! A huge bonus is that their entire team is incredible! Local- family owned- great options- check them out!

Wonderful local spot with delicious food! Great selection of healthy items from desserts, smoothies, wraps and wine! Enjoyed a cup of Java and the Big Ben breakfast skillet. The Somoa cookies were delicious and paired perfectly with the coffee. Our server Renee was the best, taking care of us. Will be back!

Been going to Simon's for over 20 years! My Favorite place to eat in Sarasota! The menu caters to everyone.. meat lovers, vegans, and gluten allergies. My Favorite is the French Salad with a scoop of Chicken salad, and a Dirty Chai. 10/10 all day.. everyday!!

You know when you get that warm fuzzy feeling after having a good breakfast at a family owned cozy restaurant? That’s what you get here. The environment is so warm and welcoming and the food/drinks are outstanding. First timer because they were on the Sarasota coffee crawl list and I’m so glad I found them. Bravo!!!!!!!!

Delicious food, still looking forward to trying more on the menu as I'm new to the neighborhood! The staff is really friendly and the atmosphere is super cozy and clean! I've noticed it's always really busy and their menu has a very nice variety of options! It's located next to Motel Therapy And across the street from Figgy Co. Definitely walkable from downtown. Not too far from State Street parking garage, but More convenient if you can find street parking out front. They have another location that's in an upcoming area which is also close to other eateries and shops, that location is close to SAAS Middle School and that is also street parking. THEY DO NOT HAVE A LANDLINE. So Don't try to call. You will get a busy signal.

We loved this all vegan coffee shop! The breakfast was good but that maple latte was amazing! We even went back the next day just for that during our vacation.

Don't miss Project Coffee if you are visiting Sarasota. This location has WiFi and has 2 walls of windows. Lots of plants and good music that changes up by the day. The food is always great. The pastries can be sweet but they offer a range. The employees are always accommodating and lovely to talk to. I spend a lotttt of time at this location. Sometimes it can be warm/cold depending on time of year because of the windows so just dress according to weather. Bathroom is clean. Just overall great place!!! Portions always fill you up and often leave leftovers and drinks are amazing but again if you don't like overly sweet maybe ask for half. I would say the coffee has a light roast taste but I'm not an expert just more citrusy tasting maybe If say? but not bad definitely lots of caffeine. I'm more of a matcha lover and their matcha is in my opinion the best in town. If you are a whole milk enthusiast this place is not for you but other than that you will not be disappointed! 11/10 been going for years.

After a beach morning, I checked out Captain Curt’s Tiki Hut Coffee Garden and tried their Mocha Frap. The space was such a perfect beach day retreat, and even had some alligators chilling in the water next to it too!

Exquisite iced coffee!! Expert, warm and helpful service! I stopped in for my first coffee of the day after a fasted medical test. The server told me that the dark iced coffee was single origin with berry notes. He didnt tell me it would be the best iced coffee I have ever had and I was delighted! Fast, beyond delicious! Outdoor and indoor seating. Oudoors along the beautiful streets near the hospital - great people watching and lovely shades for the tables.

Their coffee is brewed to perfection, and is the most unique flavor I've ever experienced. Lots of yummy treats and lunch items. A friendly, warm atmosphere of people who really care about what they are doing. It's not just a business, but a passion, and a refined art of impeccable coffee creation.

New to the area, this place had great vibes, an awesome outdoor patio and delicious Kyoto cold Brew, which brews over 10 hours. Kind of on the costly side but may just be average prices for the area. $35 for a cold Brew and two breakfast sandwiches. Definitely recommend though! Super delicious, and hope to come back in the evening maybe for some wine or a beer. Ordered the hashbrown Sammy and the ham Sammy. Thanks Keith for the information and friendliness

If someone mentions breakfast or coffee, I’m always down to try something new. We found a gem with this quaint shop! Ran by husband and wife, they do an excellent job. We tried the maple bean latte and the pull; very impressed with the natural bean flavors present and how it was made. Super smooth. Breakfast wise we ate the coconut yogurt parfait and the hash brown sammie. BLOWN AWAY by this sandwich. Hats off to this family! Only down side I can say is that I wish the guy making our coffee explained the different coffees a little more with less fancy terms. Must try in Sarasota!

My husband and I stopped by randomly. He got the pumpkin iced latte and I got an iced matcha, as well as some pastries. This place did not disappoint. Simple brewed Coffee, blueberry scone and service were top tier! Very welcoming people. Inside was cute and cozy, outside has a ton of seating but is in combination with a parking garage so it’s an interesting space.

The banana bread was so yummy and the matcha was just the way i like it. I love the atmosphere inside, the only thing is i wished the outdoor seating was brighter.

Just left Buddy Brew and I think I’ve unlocked a new personality: “Person Who Won’t Shut Up About Silky Lattes.” This place is dangerously good. Like… “considering a part-time job here just for the free drinks” good. If your taste buds had a bucket list, Buddy Brew would be on it.

I was heading to the barbershop across the street and had some spare time. This place caught my eye so I was like what the heck let’s try it and there were regrets when I walked in. The beautiful interior with the cool warm atmosphere was a lot to take it. The Staff was super chill and made my iced latte perfectly. The vibe in the shop was super cool and I definitely recommend it anyone that’s in the area and I’m going to come back for sure!

I got an iced oat milk latte and it was perfect. The espresso wasn’t bitter and they don’t add sweetener to their regular lattes, which is perfect for me. I love a good not bitter string coffee. Customer service was on point

Haven't been in a while but came in for a FPSL fall pecan brown sugar latte. Made and served by friendly baristas. Left with taste buds awakened, thrilled and satisfied. So nice to be downtown early in the morning scolded by the angry blue jay.

I love that they open at 7am! Come here for a strong cold brew to start my 12 hr shift.! Recently tried both seasonal flavors cookie crumble (could be wrong) and the mocha one with marshmallows. The mocha one is said to be made hot but I got it in cold brew anyway.

Our usual tea and coffee walk about landed us at this spot 👍 We were ecstatic to find a place downtown that opens at 7 am on a Sunday morning. They have an assortment of daily baked scones, a choice of sweet and savory. I had the sweet which was just pure deliciousness. The staff was incredibly nice. The pandemic had left many stressors on the hospitality industry but I am glad to see their service reflects the company's goal, "Create an environment with personalized customer service and a community meeting place where all walks of life can come to socialize" Well done Kahwa👏 ✔️

Kahwa Downtown is a hidden gem. I am always looking for new coffee places to try, to avoid the traditional dunkin or starbucks. Been coming into this location for a few years now and the staff is always pleasant and happy to help with any questions or dietary restrictions. On occasion you can catch some live music which is usually soft and welcoming that early in the morning. Everything from their hot regular coffee to iced cappucinos are delicious. I wish there was one closer to my house.

To begin, I would like to express my consistent positive experiences at the downtown Sarasota shop. However, there is one employee who consistently stands out, and that is Sophia. Her exceptional attitude has the remarkable ability to transform an otherwise unpleasant day into a positive one. Furthermore, her outstanding customer service skills and meticulous attention to detail are among the finest I have ever observed.

After an odd question for such an establishment as would you like sugar in your cappuccino, I didn't know what to expect, so I asked the girl if she can make me a cappuccino that tastes good without sugar, and yep, she delivered an impressive cup, very smooth flower honey notes. I asked for another one with different beans, and I got the one that tasted like dark chocolate with a hint of strawberry. Impressive beans and execution. Thank you! It was the highlight of my trip!

Very cute coffee shop. It was our first excursion in Sarasota and it was excellent. I enjoyed a chai and a kombucha. I appreciate the decor, and the vibes are your third space that you gather and chill. The staff were super helpful. I got tips for how to use the free trolley to get to the beach and also got recommendations of the best spots on the beach. I love a good wholesome neighborhood cafe where you can chitchat with the workers.

Super tasty coffee at very reasonable prices. They offer a few non-dairy (vegan) options like almond milk and oat milk. Very friendly service. Large table inside to sit and work at, or grab your coffee to-go and head across the street to the enjoy the park and marina.

I’ve met all the roasters and coffee shop owners in the area. A long time frequented patron of O&A, Justin is the last I met, easily the best personality, with passion for the craft art of coffee. It’s no wonder why his team is most knowledgeable and passionate about coffee too.

It's a cool, unique look. The mission and back story of coffee is what drew us in but unfortunately the baristas and staff when we came were rude and distant. It was kind of dark inside and the flat white tasted good but not the right microfoam.

Best tasting lattes in town. You can taste good espresso flavor. That’s the main flavor you taste and that’s how it should be with a latte. Will definitely keep coming back.

I’ve had their nachos - so good. And the açaí bowls are delicious. My current favorite is the caramel apple. Oh and the protein balls, peanut butter turtles (dates, peanut butter, honey, etc) are a must try!

This was a truly delightful experience. I had a smoothie and gluten free pumpkin mushing, both were incredibly delicious. My husband had a tuna wrap and he loved it. The staff are amazing and fun and the service excellent. We really are happy to have this conveniently located plant based eatery so close by.

While on a road trip we found this awesome place. So I've been on some strange habits lately of only eating out and ordering things I can't get usually. ( a bit strange I know but it's getting me to order outside the box ) I had the Rueben on Rye with potato salad. I would def order that again. Buttery, toasty, flavorful and filling. It could have a bit more meat though. Potato salad was yummy! My partner had the matcha and a muffin. Muffin was sweetened with monk fruit, gluten free, and just the right amount of fluffy/moist. Lastly we got a sausage & egg everything bagel with a slice of tomato and it was good. Everything is fresh to order yet it didn't take long. Although we didn't get to try all the baked goods they have a really hefty selection.

I called first and spoke to a helpful and friendly woman. The restaurant itself is clean and spacious. The menu options are endless. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The beet juice was yummy♡ The employees were knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. The bathrooms were spotless. I highly recommend and look forward to going back.

Yay for vegan options in Siesta Key!! The restaurant was really nice, I liked the layout, they had crystals, I could smell incense in the bathroom, and they had alkaline water - very cool and intentional! Additionally, the staff was very friendly. Now on to the food - I got the Philly cheesesteak and potato salad for my side. I enjoyed the flavor of the Philly, but unfortunately there was a serious lack of sietan on it. As a result, it wasn’t exactly filling which is disappointing considering how much it cost. The potato salad was ok. I also got a crumble donut which I enjoyed. It was a bit denser than most donuts, but still tasty. It had a good level of sweetness and I loved the crumble on top. The overall experience of the restaurant was nice, but I left feeling a bit disappointed for the reasons stated.

I got the electric lemonade and a tuna wrap with sweet potatoes chips and wow it was amazing!! I love all the fresh clean options here! It’s so nice to have a heathy option near! I loved the atmosphere and the staff was so friendly! Thank you for the great experience

We visited this second location and had a really good experience at this one as well! The two girl baristas were super sweet and the vanilla latte was absolutely the best I’ve ever had! So glad to find a coffee shop with multiple locations consistently the same!

Great coffee and amazing smoothies. The Coconut Majik smoothie was super tasty and including protein powder was an awesome choice. It is quite thick so be prepared to let it warm up a bit before it’s easy to drink

After a long walk on the beach in the strong cold wind I wanted a nice hot coffee and found this place online so thought I'd give it a try. The place is 100% vegan so they use oat milk in their coffees. I got a latte and it was really good. Not too strong and had a really lovely flavour. I wouldn't have known it was oat milk if I hadn't already known. Definitely recommend the coffee here, and I will be back.

Love this location! It's a bit tinier than the other locations understandably, but the staff is fantastic and the menu is wonderful. Some reviews seem to really hate that this place is vegan. All project locations are vegan and if you don't like having nondairy milk, etc. just go somewhere else lol. Everything is super yummy regardless. I don't think you would be able to tell it's oat milk tbh. Love that you can take stuff to go so easily and the staff is super super nice.

Was looking forward to a good coffee experience on Siesta Key. Got the opposite. Fine with vegan only but coffee was bitter and devoid of fragrance. Preferred to stay inside with ceramic cups. Music was blaring making conversation difficult and staff rudely announced that they would not and could not change volume “per owner’s direction.” Inhospitable experience. No reason to ever return. Pity.

***WARNING*** VEGAN Let me start by saying, the staff was very friendly. However, if you are someone who enjoys cream in your coffee, or regular sugar, this is not the place for you. The pastries did not look good, certainly the lack of butter/dairy has something to do with that. Why not just offer vegan and non-vegan? As a business owner, I have never understood other business owners pushing an agenda or ideology. This coffee shop is the perfect example. They are going to lose customers like me that like cream in their coffee, just to prove a point. Sorry to say this, but this coffee shop will be out of business in a year if there is no course correction. Which is really too bad because there is not a good coffee shop in Siesta Key.

Hospitality goes such a long way here!!! Food was also delicious, not even 10 minutes after ordering, the food was already on our table. What I love best about this place is the patio outside. Sitting between the plants and flowers provides such a tranquil scene. Lots of options on the menus and the sourdough is especially good here.

Cute spot, solid food! It was a good spot to catch up with friends - lively but not too loud for conversation. The food was good and portions perfect. We came on a Sunday at brunch so it seemed very busy but we only had to wait about 15 minutes for a table for 4 luckily.

We decided to stop by for breakfast on a weekday morning. The food is fantastic! We went for Eggs Benedict and an Omelette - we would definitely consider them again. The service was great! We loved sitting outside and taking in the fresh air while savoring the meal. We would certainly consider coming here again.

Came here two days in a row it was so good! Everything was super fresh and delicious - had a Benedict one day and omelette the next and would definitely recommend. Had great service and fun beach vibes :)

Found the place by walking and have to say that the reviews are all accurate, food is fantastic same as the service. We came for breakfast yesterday and decided to come back again today to try other dishes from the menu. The French toasts are a must! And the Mediterranean Revival eggs so good! Defiantly recommend this place!

I rarely give an "all out" review but I can see why this place is top of the list for breakfast here in Siesta Key. The menu isn't too big, and the food comes out quickly. The ingredients in/on my "Bikini Bagel" were fresh and well-balanced. Which I greatly appreciated. The avocado on my dish was cut fresh —for my dish. The fig was for sure my favorite —thickly sliced and placed atop the avocado. I was all for it. We're on a quick pass through on our way to Fort Myers, so we needed something quick. What a treat! Totally unexpected to find such good eats. The price is fair for the portions and the vibe outside is a must.

Such a hidden gem! Do not miss this spot in the village! Amazing food, great coffee, & super quick service! Indoor seating (with AC) or outdoor seating. The staff were all so friendly. We went multiple times during our trip & loved it each time. From breakfast sandwiches, chicken & waffles, oatmeal, biscuits & gravy, shrimp po’ boy wrap. Breakfast or lunch — it’s all amazing!

Cute farmer’s market with a variety of offerings. Fresh produce, coffee, organic skin care, sea salts, honey, roasted pork belly, awesome smoked barbecue, beautiful plants, “world’s best guacamole”, New Haven style pizza, and more were offered! It was a nice walk in the downtown area to meet and chat with local vendors. If you’re visiting, definitely stop by and support the locals. Would definitely come again next time we’re in town.

Visiting the area for a couple of weeks and last weekend we got confused with their schedule we though it was Sunday. The Sarasota Farmers Market is on Sundays and close at 1pm. We had a great time! They had movement, they had a kids friendly area and bounce house. Overall it was clean and just a beauty of a place. As any other Farmers Market it was a hit!!

Downtown. Walk, bike, Uber, or any combination. Good assortment of vendors. Food is available from vendors or restaurants if you get hungry. Dogs are welcome, just keep them from mischief.

This farmers market is AWESOME! We visit it every time we're in town. They have a lot of wonderful vendors & fresh produce. There's really something for everyone. If a local, you could defiantly shop for your weekly vegetables & some meats & seafood. I bought some amazing salts, produce & pickles! Looking forward to visiting again soon!

We enjoyed walking around. Was sad they didn't have any fruits or vegetables, except for some Japanese eggplant. We appreciated the samples of delicious food. It helped us pick out some wonderful Lebanese hummus, also a fantastic crab & lobster dip/ salad with a kick to it.

Sarasota Farmer’s Market did not disappoint. I got Tomato & Basil pasta sauce from Lydia’s, stocked up on the softest gear from Bambooty Bodygear, got danced by the musicians (yesss!), and scored some Reishi + Lion’s Mane. An Island In The Sun! ☀️

Farmer's markets are such fun places to go and check out the local vendors and all their interesting offerings. The Sarasota Saturday market had all kinds of fresh produce and seafood, plus locally produced original artwork, jewelry, and soaps, shell creations, and more. We bought fresh jumbo Gulf shrimp and also enjoyed New England lobster rolls freshly sauteed in butter for a tasty breakfast, all from Maggie's Seafood.

Pastry Art Espresso Bar has a warm, welcoming vibe. The staff was super friendly and made the experience even better. The coffee was smooth and flavorful, and the food was just as good — fresh, tasty, and satisfying. Definitely a great spot to relax or catch up with friends.

Lovely experience! The brownie was soft and warm and the lemonade was delicious! The worker with the pink hair ( couldn’t catch her name) was excellent. She was incredibly nice and very attentive :)

I stopped in to get pastries for a few offices I work with, what really stood out was the staff. From the moment I walked in, they were warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly. They took the time to explain the pastry options, made recommendations with a smile, and never once made me feel rushed. Everyone behind the counter was wonderful! Pastries and coffee are great too!!

The whole reason I come here every time I’m in Florida is for this pecan churro pastry. They are amazing and memorable. They usually sell out quickly.

Came here twice for coffee with friends. They serve Counter Culture which is a brand that I love. The Hot latte I had last time was good but the Iced Americana was even better you can really taste the coffee . Perfect for walking around on a hot day. Definitely coming back to try the food after seeing some plates come out. And the vibe is also pretty cool and very chill. Plus they have a super nice and friendly staff and great service. 👍

Today was my first time visiting The Overton, after multiple friends in the are recommended that I check it out. I have to say, I really enjoyed myself. I just went with coffee (a flat white) but it was very well made and tasted great! The environment is another plus, with garage-style doors on the front so when raised you get an indoor/outdoor hybrid feel. Also the service was fantastic, and my coffee was ready quickly (even though they were busy). Give them a visit if you’re looking for a new spot!

Lunch at someplace new…top notch burger and fries and cocktails too, along with grain and veggie bowls, etc. Casual atmosphere with tables inside and out. Friendly waitstaff. Loved it!

I thought this place looked super cute so I took my grandma for breakfast. They didn’t open on time at 9 am which is a bit frustrating. we ordered at the register, they didn’t say the total or print us a receipt. I ended up with two lattes somehow. The biscuit was enormous yet dry and sadly the gravy was super thick which didn’t help the dry biscuit taste. Unfortunately not impressed with my experience but maybe I ordered wrong.

Great burger and fries! Coffee was very tasty as well! Service left much to be desired but I came for the food so didn’t even mind that the women at the counter and cashier were quite rude.

We visited the Overton for a late breakfast this morning and were pleasantly surprised by the functional architecture inside the restaurant and for that matter, to some extent on the outside. We chose to sit inside although the large overhead doors were open and outside eating would have been fine also. Though not very busy some items were already crossed off of the "training menu", which, by the way, is a great idea. We were able to watch the servers earn and learn. I truly believe there should be no minimum wage and watching these young people learning the ropes of waiting on others and patrolling their areas for items in need of attention affirms my minimum wage belief. The better they become on efficiency for their customers dining experience, the greater their earning power will become. For those who do not perform they will quickly realize this is not the job for them, but onto the food and service. We both ended up ordering the same item, a vegan patty melt to which we added Siracha. The patty was made with garbanzo beans and zucchini squash with a vegan yellow cheese like topping on the patty. More than enough food, in fact we could have shared, but both of us ate all of the sandwitches. I had delicious fresh brewed black coffee and Nann had an unsweetened cold hibiscus tea. The Overton is a cafeteria style restaurant where they call out your order number when ready for you to pick up. We came here for some breakfast and departed with no leftovers and full stomachs. Perfect. Overton's is a must for everyone to experience. The area is steeped with history and now making history again with the new development in this newly gentrified area of Sarasota. I will post a photo of the training menu along with other photos of Overton's. A great addition to this new hip area of Sarasota and the restaurant is named after this early Sarasota neighborhood where our city's first black settlers lived.

Great place with an easy vibe, and a calm atmosphere. It's a nice change of pace from other spots that can feel frenzied, especially for brunch. The chai latte was amazing and the breakfast sandwich was excellent.

Very good brunch Spot! This was the first time for us, Nice , simple and spacious place, with a very extensive menu, it has something for everyone,GF options as well as healthy choices. Breakfast and lunch, full bar and coffee drinks. The Food was very tasty and the cocktails too! Very busy place but we did not have to wait much for a table, there is an outdoor seating as well and the service was very friendly and polite. We will come back to try other options for sure.

New to the area, the wife and I tried the cinnamon donuts before the breakfast and a very good Latte. The server Katie was very quick to greet us, seat us, and provide excellent service. Our order was made correctly, it came out without delay and was very good. Breakfast Burrito is recommended as well as the two egg breakfast. Everything was hot. The one thing I loved, but not everyone will is the amount of cheese on the burrito and in the hash brown casserole. If you don’t love cheese, maybe these won’t be for you. The final review is easy parking, quick and good service and food was great. 5 stars for our first visit.

We had a really good experience Food was amazing. Portions were great And our server Maggie was awesome. I ordered the breakfast burrito and it was perfect. Our daughter really enjoyed her pancakes and my husband the brisket tacos. Will be coming back soon.

I love this spot! I’ve been here a number of times and always have an amazing meal and incredible service. Today Angie was my server and she was lovely! Always refilling the coffee and water and even brought me a free coffee to go. I got the double decker omelette and it was amazing. Always a fan of their cheesy hash brown casserole too. 10/10

We came here for breakfast on the 4th. Grateful they were open. This is my 2nd time eating at Toasted Yolk, first being in Pooler, GA. This restaurant is okay. Not a fan for either visit for their food. My Jackie morning rita was good. Our waitress was nice. First time having a 'chicken' omelet, and I do not recommend chicken for the meat. The reuben sandwich and sweet potato fries were better than my food.

There isn’t enough good I can say about Toasted Yolk. The food is delicious, the drinks are strong, and the service is phenomenal. John took care of us like we were his family. Out drinks were never empty and he checked on us frequently.

It was my first time having breakfast here with my husband. I’m happy I chose this place, It was amazing! I definitely recommend trying the grits and shrimp. Deb, the server took care of us and was very kind! Thank you guys for a great experience.

You MUST visit this place!! One of the best places for a morning espresso drink. I got a Cortado and it was super yummy. Staff super friendly and the atmosphere is so chill that you simply want to hang out. Very euro street cafe vibe. Highly recommend.

MUST TRY SPOT. Great quality food with a clean and professional looking decor. The girls working at the time were pleasant and made an exceptional breakfast sandwich. We got the Dave’s special and it was phenomenal. Quality was top notch.

Discovered a gem at Postal 98 Cafe! The unique environment and amazing service set it apart from other cafes. The staff is amazing and friendly, making every visit special. I'm so glad I found this place and can't wait to come back and try more goodies. Looking forward to many wonderful mornings here!

I'm new to the area but I love trying coffee places out. This spot has won my heart. The staff is always friendly, especially the queen who commented on sharing the same nail color as me, anyway the coffee always SLAPS mhmmmm. It's so good! I get the sweet cream cold brew and you actually can't go wrong. Love this place.

Stopped by Café Arts today and tried their strawberry matcha 🍓🍵 I ordered a large with oat milk and one pump of matcha purée honestly, it didn’t disappoint me at all. So delicious, creamy, and just the right balance of flavors. Definitely my favorite matcha so far, and I’m already planning to come back tomorrow for another one! 💚✨

Large and comfortable coffee shop that also serves wine and beer. The art on the walls are all originals and interesting. The croissants are baked fresh daily and you can smell the aroma as soon as you walk through the door. The coffee / lattes are excellent with new flavors added frequently. The owners are friendly and welcoming.

New cafe 10 minute walk to downtown. Coffee and pastries are very good. They have sandwiches and wraps. Beer and wine also available. Very comfortable with some outside seating. Entertainment Friday evenings.

If I could give it 6 starts, I would! This little shop is ADORABLE. I ordered raspberry sorbet and a caprese sandwich. Both were sure delicious. James and Shy were so nice and helpful while my family and I enjoyed the atmosphere. Highly, HIGHLY recommend! This was my first time here and I will be back for sure! 🩵

Just had an amazing experience here. I ordered the Passion Berry (subbed for strawberry puree syrup) it was absolutely amazing!!! Rylee was great and was kind enough to make another one after I ordered it again!! Definitely a great experience here, the staff is so wonderful and welcoming!!!

Came in to Raining Berries for the first time last week as I was craving something with matcha and a nice space to work close in the Southside Village area. I was recommended the strawberry shortcake matcha latte and it was absolutely amazing! They also had fast wifi and a ton of seating for me to sit and concentrate on my work. Staff was also fantastic (especially with their recommendations). Definitely will return as their acai bowls look great.

Went in for the first time, decor is adorable. I was greeted warmly when I walked in and ordered the wanna date smoothie. Kylie brought it to my table with a bright smile and pleasant attitude. So refreshing these days. The smoothie was delicious will definitely be back.

We stopped in for a quick brunch on my daughter’s birthday and were told they were out of gluten-free bread-something the employee admitted “we usually are out of.” I decided to stay and order a hot latte anyway, but was handed an iced one instead. She did correct the mistake, and I’ll give 3 stars because the latte was excellent once it was right. That said, if a restaurant can’t keep main menu items in stock, we won’t be back. It's not hard to run across the street to Morton’s to restock gluten-free bread.

Found this small coffee shop very friendly service. Only purchased a small cup of coffee they do have some food options, mostly bakery type at the counter, maybe sandwiches as well. They have a tiny art gallery also you can look at inside. It's a cute little stop n go on the way to your final destination to make your morning's complete.

One of the best coffee shops in Sarasota. The coffee is so good! Staff is really friendly. We got a captain crunch latte and i really appreciated the fact that it didn’t overpower the coffee, just complimented it. The coffee cake muffin is to die for. This is going to be one of my go to spots for now on. thank you!

Iced latte with an extra shot, was mid. I drink great coffee when I travel and at home, so the bar was high Raspberry, pistachio scone was served cold, under cooked and underwhelming. Hilarious names of drinks. Also, this is SW FL and they choose to put in an art gallery in the AC and offer outdoor in the sun seating for their guests. Not smart when the average temp is 90 and humidity levels are 1000%.

I am not going to rate the quality of the drinks as they did not give me a chance to try them. We walked in at 245 on a Sunday. The barista made a comment something along the lines of leaving as long as people don’t continue to come in, clearly loud enough for us to hear her. Incredibly rude. If you close at three, close at three. Don’t close at 2:45 and make the customers feel unwelcome. They were very unwelcoming, hardly even greeted us and were very rude. We then walked out after we were rudely ignored. I normally don’t leave reviews but just felt the need that I had to do so. Very unprofessional and it bothered me to the extent that I am leaving this review. I’m hoping the owner sees this and will speak to the two young ladies working this Sunday. Be better, not a way to represent the business or the brand.

Would move to Sarasota just for this coffee shop, it’s THAT good! The cereal latte was perfect, they’ve got a great matcha, and who doesn’t love a claw machine to pass the time! The artworks awesome to look at as well. The baristas were super friendly and knowledgeable. All around just a wonderful little coffee shop.

Coffee was very good. We ordered breakfast and my egg bites were good had to be heated again due to them being very cold still inside. Cute little spot and nice artwork to look at
